 Chapter 1: Waking up in the Naruto world!?

    It was a normal day for Aadamya Joshi, wake up, go to his dream college, IISc, come back home, work out, eat, chat with his friends, study everything related to maths and science he found interesting, and then finally sleep.


    However, something not so normal happened this time around, when he came to consciousness, he was no longer on his bed and instead seemed to be floating, in a dark abyss. He couldn''t see much or rather he seemed to have his eyes closed, but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn''t open his eyes let alone move his body.


    He thought it was a strange dream or just sleep paralysis and got ready to see some strange demonic creature(s) jump scare him. Afterall, this wasn''t his first rodeo with these sorts of situations. However, when he finally managed to open his eyes, he saw something that truly shocked him.


    It was a completely white ceiling, with a white wall one side and an open blue drape on his other. A person was checking his body for something, dressed in clothes he could only think of as a nurse. He wasn''t completely sure what was happening.... his consciousness was blurry, his memories hazy.


    He tried to get up but he couldn''t on his own, his head was killing him. But then, he felt a gentle force helping him sit up against the wall. Then he finally heard something, a kind, soft yet distant voice, he could barely make it out.


    "Can you hear me?" The voice asked.


    "Y....*cough*....yes." He was surprised to say the least. Afterall, he woke up in an unfamiliar place with a skull crushing headache, blurry consciousness and now?


    His voice, it was hoarse but what really shocked him was that the voice that came out of his mouth.... wasn''t his, rather it seemed to be that of child.


    His mind still in disarray raced with possible explanations, ''a dream? A reincarnation? No..... surely it was a dream, as fun as isekai stories were, they weren''t very realistic, just a means to unleash your imagination.''


    But when his vision finally started clearing up, he was dumbfounded. The nurse in front of him didn''t look human, at least not like a normal human, the nurse, presumably a female, looked vaguely like a human whose face was modeled after a cat like a combination of the two with a higher proportion of human characteristics.


    ''This is.... isn''t that the face of an anime character???''He didn''t understand, it should be strange for him to see people vastly different in looks than he was used to but this type of face seemed oddly familiar as if everything was as it was supposed to be.


    ''But... that''s couldn''t be right could it? How? Why? This doesn''t make any sense! I don''t..... I don''t understand, what''s going on here??''Breathing deeply, he tried to calm his troubled mind and after recollecting a bit, he started running his brain.


    ''Ok.... calm down now, let''s retrace what I did. The day was nothing really special, I just did what I usually do and went to sleep and everything after that.... I can''t recall.''


    He looked to the nurse, seeming to give him some space and understanding his frantic and disheveled state, he appreciated her understanding. But noticed she looked puzzled at the same time. ''Odd.... but it doesn''t matter much right now.''Then, he looked down at himself and saw something he had imagined many times but never thought he would actually see.....


    He was an anime character! And a very young boy at that, judging by his looks he surmised that he was about 2-3 years old. He had fair skin, and chubby arms and legs and he was wearing what he thought was a hospital gown.


    ''Holy..... never thought that''d actually happen to me of all people. I suppose it could all be a dream but..... it just doesn''t seem very likely this all looks and feels too realistic to be a mere dream.


    I suppose it could be a rare case where someone is injured and their brain makes up an entire false lifetime in their head but..... even if that''s true it doesn''t really affect me. After all I couldn''t do anything even if that is true.''


    [A/N: This is actually a real incident which happened. A man who had been tackled in a rugby game was injured and lost consciousness for 10 seconds, and in that 10 seconds his brain created an entire life which he thought was reality, till his death from old age with non-existent people and relationships.]


    He didn''t know what to say or what to do, waking up as toddler in an anime world all of a sudden was just mind boggling. Even if admittedly he had imagined this exact situation a lot of times.


    Looking around his evidently hospital room, he noticed that a lot of the things in it looked to be technology and furniture used a couple hundred years ago. Although that didn''t contribute anything to figuring out a time period as this is probably a completely different universe. But when he turned around to look what was behind him, he was astonished. There was a window and outside the hospital were buildings on both sides, a clear sky and a mountain with the faces of Hokage on it and...

    ''Wait a second! A mountain with the Hokages'' faces on it? No way! Is that.... is that the Hokage rock!? But that means.... I''m in the Naruto world! The amount of times I have imagined this scenario is just too massive to count. This is one of my favorite anime along with Dr. Stone of course, that we are talking about!


    There''s Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato.... wait... Minato''s face isn''t there! This is crucial information, this means that Minato hasn''t become Hokage yet; Naruto, Sasuke and the other rookies haven''t been born yet either!''


    Then, he suddenly heard a kind yet firm voice speak up from behind the door, it seemed that the nurse had come to her senses and rushed off to call a doctor during his musings.


    "What is his name?" The voice asked and another voice, that of the previously present nurse replied, "Kagaku Heishi, sir."


    ''I see.... so my name is Kagaku Heishi huh? It even sounds Japanese... wait, Japanese? How am I understanding what they are saying? They should be talking in Japanese right? The show was dubbed in English later for general audiences. I did take some Japanese classes in school as a tertiary language but I don''t understand it to the point of following normal conversation.


    Could it be that I unconsciously recall some of my information from this life? I mean, I won''t dwell on how this happened as I have pondered that many times and couldn''t come up with a logical explanation for it. But it seems that I at least know some information absorbed by this body''s previous host like how to speak and follow Japanese conversation, that''s a relief.''


    The nurse continued, "He is a few days older than 2 and a half years old, his birthday is on 14 March, year 51; and is an orphan, his parents were two civilian traders. His parents were killed by bandits when they were returning to Konoha from a trip. His parents sacrificed themselves to save him and died in front of him but he was still injured.


    As they were relatively close to Konoha, a patrol team spotted them and rescued an unconscious and seriously injured Kagaku but arrived too late to save his parents. It turned out that he had a brain injury and only survived because one of the patrol ninjas knew basic medical ninjutsu and first-aid.


    It seems after suffering great trauma, his brain shut down and he also hit a stone while falling down. The bandits luckily ignored him as they saw the patrol ninjas approaching.


    It was expected that he would wake up in 2-4 years more if he even recovered, as the chances of dying or forever staying in a coma were quite high.


    However, the most interesting thing about this is that among those patrolling ninjas, the Uchiha clan head''s daughter, Mikoto Uchiha was present and offered to pay all the medical bills as an apology to the boy for not being able to save his parents in time.


    It''s quite unexpected that he woke up so early though, I worry that he hasn''t actually completely healed yet. After all, there was a high probability that he was going to die or forever stay in a coma. So, seeing him wake up early is very concerning."


    ''Well that''s..... nice, is it a bit weird that she gave a full backstory of how I got here rather than just my injuries? Yes, do I have any problem? Of course not, her speech gave me a lot of information about myself and how to act my way out of answering any personal questions, I can just say I don''t remember or don''t know!


    Additionally, the original owner of this body''s soul might have died due to my soul''s arrival or merged with my soul as he was still in a coma. These two possibilities are highly likely as the concept of souls is evidently existent in the Naruto world.''


    "Alright nurse, it''s good to see that you are as enthusiastic about your patients'' recovery as always. Now, come with me, we have to test the boy''s mental and physical health.


    Injuries to the brain are the worst kind of injuries to have and extreme caution must be exercised when dealing with them even if the injury seems minor."


    ''They are about to enter, I have to be careful not to seem abnormal, I am supposed to be 2.5 years old after all. Man, this is such a drag...''

 Chapter 2: What do I want to do?

    The doctor and the nurse entered my room, and the doctor started talking.


    "Hi there! How are you kiddo? I am Akito Tachibana. You can call me Akito oji-chan! So, does anywhere hurt like your tummy or your head?"


    "My tummy is good but my head hurts" Kagaku says while nodding in denial.


    ''God, it''s so annoying when people try to baby you not to mention I gotta talk like one too.... this is such a drag....''


    The doctor, Akito Tachibana was astonished and muttered "He''s a genius!" under his breadth after all, even if Kagaku was now 2.5 years old, which is when kids start speaking somewhat coherent sentences, the kid was supposed to be in a coma for nearly a year and a half which means he could already speak like this when he was 1.


    Akito thought, ''This means that the kid is quite gifted and will have to be treated a bit differently growing up, I''ll have to inform the orphanage and Mikoto Uchiha sama.''


    Akito continued, "Oh, is that so? Then do you remember your name and what happened?" It wasn''t concerning that he had a headache in fact, it would be concerning if didn''t have a headache after waking up from a coma prematurely.


    "My name..... my name is.....Kagaku.... Kagaku Heishi" Kagaku replied. It''s better to set up a reputation as a genius early on so that the village thinks it''s good to invest in my development. There''s no world in which a kid in my situation behaving like this is considered normal.


    "Kagaku, papa and mama were outside and then papa and mama told Kagaku to r-run" Kagaku started tearing up and sniffling but still continued, "Then mama papa we-were


    g-gone. K-Kagaku...*sniffles* doesn''t remember a-anything *sniffles* e-else."


    "Kagaku wants mama and papa!!" Then Kagaku started wailing "mama! papa!"


    ''Well it''s not good if they think that I was emotionally mature at 1. They would suspect that I am a sociopath and that''s non conducive to what I plan to do.... so a little acting is in order.''


    The nurse quickly picked Kagaku up and started rocking Kagaku back and forth, trying to comfort him saying "There there Kagaku is a good boy. Good boys don''t cry...."


    Akito, a chunin looked on with a saddened expression. He had to break the news to the kid that he would never be seeing his parents again.... that''s one of the hardest things in practicing medicine.... having to tell people that they would never be able to see their family ever again.


    What made it even worse was the Kagaku was a genius and would probably take in the gravity of the situation quickly. This could easily cause severe mental trauma on the child.


    Gifted kids already have it tough fitting in with people and comprehend things way better than most. With this incident, the kid might view the world through a very sinister lens which isn''t good by any means. The ninja world is already terrible and this incident might just break the child or continue to chip away at him mentally.


    In such cases, it''s better to distract the child a bit and slowly get them to accept the past while mainly focusing on the present. So, it''s good to distract them with both short and long term goals and continue therapy to ensure that the child doesn''t snap and can fit into society.


    So, after Kagaku stopped crying, Akito asked "Kagaku, tell me, do you have anything you want to do? Anything you want to become?"


    Kagaku hearing this thought, ''What do I want to do? Well of course I want to know everything there is to know. I want to rule everything so that I can then peacefully do my research and for that of course I need immortality.


    My favorite character in all of Naruto is Orochimaru for this reason. He is the only one who has a concrete goal and personality, he is honest and does whatever he needs to do to achieve said goals. Not to mention, he is basically the same as me, looking for knowledge but realizing that there is too much to know and such a goal can only be achieved by first achieving immortality.


    I''ll be so powerful that even Shibai Otsotsuki will acknowledge my strength and then I can peacefully use all my resources to focus on research, well and just because being powerful is pretty cool too. But..... that''s still far away. First I need to obtain enough power to survive and maintain an image of the perfect weapon otherwise my genius status will lead to my demise knowing how Konoha has treated geniuses in the past.


    I need to use all the available resources for that. Moreover, the Hokage is definitely going to pay attention to my situation as my treatment is being paid by the daughter of the Uchiha Clan Head, Mikoto Uchiha. I need to paint an image of an impressionable genius who is perfect for their use.''


    With determination in his voice and stars in his eyes, Kagaku exclaimed, "Kagaku want to be like those shupa cool people who saved Kagaku!"


    "Oh? So you want to become a ninja?"


    ""Ni-ja? Whatsh that?" God this is so embarrassing, when is this going to be over?


    "It''s Nin-ja, and they are the shupa cool people who saved Kagaku. Now, go on, try to say it... Nin-ja" Akito said, putting emphasis on ''ja'' to help Kagaku pronounce it.


    "Nin-jaa! Kagaku will become very strong ninjaa and protect other kids like Kagaku!"


    "That''s right! Kagaku is gonna be the best and strongest ninja!" Akito said while smiling and ruffling Kagaku''s hair.


    "Now, we have to check Kagaku''s body for anything wrong ok? It might be boring so here''s a ninja toy." Akito said while handing Kagaku a ninja figurine to play with.


    "Nurse, come over here and start doing the tests." To avoid suspicion, Kagaku started fiddling and playing with the figurine while secretly paying attention to what the two were doing.


    ''They took a blood sample and ran tests on it to ensure he was healthy and used medical ninjutsu to identify any abnormalities in him. Checking his physical responses to stimuli, his motor functions, etc. The best thing was that there was no need for things like MRIs or CT scans as ninjas could just use chakra to fulfill the same requirements.

    Hmm.... standard procedure, other than switching out medical technology for medical ninjutsu. Now that I think about it, how does medical ninjutsu even work?


    The healing could be explained with providing energy of just the right frequently and amount to accelerate mitotic division of cells and hence cause the body to heal itself faster while providing sufficient energy to do so . But, What about their ability to discern problems in the body?


    The in-universe explanation for it is that they use yang (physical) energy/ healing energy to detect any injury not visible to the naked eye, this technique is referred to as Shindan no Justu.


    So, I suppose it''s like an MRI where it uses energy, in this case chakra, of the right frequency to highlight any abnormalities in tissues. Quite a commendable technique I must say, it''s indeed worth it to learn medical ninjutsu.''


    After all the tests were done, a woman wearing completely white clothes with a ninja, Chunin guessing by his flat jacket, came to pick up Kagaku and guide him to his ''new home'' as they put it. Of course, seeing a ninja with her and Akito as well as the nurse egging him on to go with them, He agreed though still staying vigilant. He learned that this person is the matron of the orphanage he was assigned to by the village when Akito introduced him to her.


    It seemed that the woman already knew basic information about him including his apparent genius, it was evident that Akito or the nurse had informed her about his condition. Still, she chose to probe Kagaku herself as they walked towards the orphanage while holding hands, "Do you know where we are going Kagaku?"


    "We are going to orphanage, right?"


    "Yes, very good! You can already speak complete sentences. And don''t you worry, Kagaku, I''ll make sure that you are safe, ok?"


    "Ok!" Kagaku pretends to be exited while nodding his head.


    "So... Kagaku, are you exited to go to your new home and make some friends?"


    "Friends? Whatsh that?"


    "Hmm.... let''s see.... I suppose you can think of friends as the people you enjoy spending your time with, the people who you would give everything to be with and they would do the same for you. They are your precious people, the people with whom you go through thick and thin with."


    "Ohh, so they are like family?" Kagaku asked in confusion.


    "No, not exactly, this entire village is your family."


    ''Ah, and there''s the indoctrination I was waiting for. It seems she is a retired or undercover ninja or at least someone who was assigned to brainwash geniuses and talented kids. I need to pay special attention to people watching me while I''m training.


    After all, even if I plan to cement myself as an impressionable genius, I still have to keep some cards to myself, otherwise I''ll be helpless if someone decided to eliminate me. Konoha is a place where as a genius, you need to worry about internal threats like Danzo more than external ones.''


    "Oh so the village will care for me and I have to protect it in return as a ninja?"


    The matron thought, ''His analytical skills are indeed astonishing! Considering that he has been in a coma for 1 and half a year, it means that for the most part, he was like this when he was just 1. His intelligence easily rivals that of the Nara clan.


    If he has a similar talent for being a ninja, he could even rise up to become one of Konoha''s pillars and become an S - rank ninja! Even if he has mediocre talent, he should at least be able to make it Jounin to Elite Jounin strength levels. He also has a suitable mindset for molding, it should be easy to make him blindly loyal to Konoha especially given his fascination with ninjas and desire to protect his loved ones and people like him.''


    "Yes, indeed you will have to train very hard to be able to become strong though, the village expects great things from you, don''t disappoint them. Now, we''ll start your training later, first go make some friends! And come back by dinner with everyone and then come find me, ok?"


    Of course, this was to see how Kagaku and the other children''s normal behave, they would just observe while concealing their presence and any kid, even a genius couldn''t possibly detect a professional ninja who wanted to stay hidden.


    "Ok! But how would I find you? I don''t even know your name. Can you please tell me?" Kagaku said while doing his best impression of the puppy dog eyes.


    ''Good, he has decent foresight as well.'' The matron thought and finally revealed while smiling warmly, "Oh! How silly of me! My name is Akane Katsuragi. As you know, I''m the matron of this orphanage."


    "Okay, Akane oba-chan I''ll be back with the others, bye!" Kagaku left to go play with the other kids in the sandpit playing with toys with his ninja figurine still in hand.


    Then, slowly, as Kagaku went further and further away, a chunin wearing a blank faced mask appeared in a body flicker behind Akane in a kneeling position, waiting for his orders.


    "He is quite a talent, follow him closely." Akane said, not particularly loudly, but the chunin heard her all the same. And replied, "Hai!" disappearing once again in a body flicker, immediately after receiving his orders.


    "I have to report this development to Hokage sama and Danzo sama." Akane muttered under her breath while disappearing in a body flicker.


    After all, it wasn''t everyday that a genius orphan with such intelligence and desires showed up at the orphanage or even in Konoha.


    Kagaku, being on guard noticed something was off and predicted, ''I feel like something is off.... like someone is watching me.... but I can''t quite put my finger on it. It''s most likely that ANBU agents are watching me. This further cements my belief that the ''sweet and innocent'' matron is actually an undercover ninja. Now, how should I proceed considering that they are now watching my every move.....''

 Chapter 3: Pondering about the nature of this strange world.

    [A/N: This chapter is just going to be MC theorizing about the world using science from our world. So, if you don''t like that kind of stuff, you might not enjoy this chapter. But, these theories are gonna lead to some pretty substantial abilities down the line so, I would recommend you don''t skip it. Although, if you guys want I could make the scientific theories, explanations, etc, a little less in depth and just explain how the science is beneficial to developing/ explaining an ability.]


    While continuing to pretend to play in the sand pit with his figurine, Kagaku started seriously thinking about how the world worked and how he should proceed.


    ''I need to display my talent while simultaneously trying to keep some trump cards to myself to deal with any unexpected situations while also staying useful to the higher ups so that they will help me grow further. I need to figure some things out first though.....


    This universe is quite different form my previous one, the laws of physics itself seem to be different. Many characters have achieved feats of dodging attacks which supposedly travel at the speed of light, implying that even with predicting where the attack would be launched, it would be preposterous to assume that the user wouldn''t be able to just adjust their attack and hit the target regardless. Therefore, many characters have gone at speeds faster than light.


    Secondly, it seems that chakra is an energy which itself has a lot of different forms which I suspect are actually just the same type of energy, an electromagnetic wave most likely outside the explored electromagnetic spectrum, and it has some special properties as well.


    With chakra, it''s seems to be quite possible to create ''something'' from ''nothing'' with the Creation of All Things or to turn ''something'' into ''nothing'' with Dust Release or Truth Seeker Balls or All Killing Ash Bones of Kaguya. However, that''s only what it appears to be.


    As when Hagaromo used Creation of All Things, he used a massive amount of energy in the form of chakra and converted it into mass, and with e=mc2, it''s evident that mass=energy/(speed of light in a vacuum)2 or (m=e/c2) and similarly,


    When Onoki uses Dust Release, he converts All the mass in a given area, affected by his attack back into energy in the form of chakra, which flows back into the world. In fact, that''s how everything most likely works, when chakra is used by ninjas, it''s dissipated into natural energy. Which is then again consumed by creatures of the world to increase their physical and mental energies to create chakra again.


    This means that the law of conservation of energy and mass still hold true. But then why not the speed limit of the universe? Or.....


    Could it be that.... The speed of light of this world is simply higher than the speed of light of my previous world? That would explain how some people can surpass ''light speed'', the light speed they are referring to is the speed of light of my previous universe. After all, if they were travelling faster than the speed of light of their own universe, then not only would they need more than infinite energy to do, they would also travel back in time. I''ll have to conduct experiments to determine whether my theory is true or not soon....


    Or it could be that the margin of error is extremely small as after all, the speed of light in air is slightly slower than the speed of light in vacuum? But then again, the person themselves would also be affected by drag forces which would reduce their speed and increase durability requirements significantly. So, maybe my theory has some weight after all.


    Regardless of my hypothesis being true, it''s clear that chakra has special properties, the first is that it can easily switch between a state of mass and energy, unlike most other forms of energy.


    The second is that it exhibits change in its specific properties and effects based on how it''s frequency and wavelength changes, although the variability of wavelength should be confined to a certain range within a yet unexplored region of the electromagnetic spectrum.


    That potentially explains so much as well, Kekkai Genkai, Kekkai Tota, even Kekkei Mora, it''s all nonsense, it''s just different frequencies and wavelengths of chakra, thus exhibiting different properties, either existing on their own (7 basic elements), or combing two of them (Kekkei Genkai), or combing three of them (Kekkei Tota) or even combining all of them (Kekkei Mora).


    The seven basic elements can likely be expressed as clean sine waves just like the 7 colours constituting white light (VIBGYOR). But when they are all combined, like white light, Kekkei Mora it becomes messy and chaotic, thus only people having special bodies attuned to such different wavelengths and frequencies of chakra can handle Kekkei Mora and Kekkei Genkai and the only ability that can be learned by almost anyone, Kekkei Tota comes out to be a clean sine wave as well hence, no special physique is required to learn it and even that could only hold true to Dust Release as it''s the only Kekkei Tota, but that''s got more to do with Kishimoto recognizing how broken Kekkei Tota were and thus refrained from making more.


    It''s the fact that the normal human body can''t handle the discrepancies in chakra wavelengths and frequencies caused by the combination of the waves of two chakra natures, that disables them from being able to use Kekkei Genkai, even with proficiency in two chakra natures. The select people who can, have bodies that are attuned to the discrepancies in the chakra of their respective ''bloodline''.


    Of course, this also solves the mystery of why someone has a certain chakra nature, it''s just that their bodies are more attuned to that elemental chakra''s frequency and wavelength, and therefore, it''s easier to learn that chakra nature but still not impossible to learn other chakra natures, it''s just that it''ll be much more difficult. It also explains why chakra affinities are generally hereditary, as the physique itself is hereditary.You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.


    Kagaku let out a contented sigh, now knowing that it wasn''t impossible for him to wield Kekkei Genkai and even perhaps even Kekkai Mora in the future.


    Not to mention, that''s the stuff which is the center of attention. There are a bunch of things that seem rather simple or/ and not flashy and are thus dismissed but actually conceal a ton of intricacies and complications within them.


    For example, the partial expansion and expansion jutsus, they are quite easily dismissed and forgotten but in fact, they are very interesting, how do they cause the expansion in size of everything or even just some part in a highly complex biological creature like human in an instant? Do they increase the space between something like atoms or molecules? No, that wouldn''t make sense as the density of their body would drop so much so that they might just float up into the stratosphere as their density would be lower than air. Which would of course, not be very good.


    So, the only feasible option is that they create cells and tissues on the spot by using their stored up energy, and then convert it back into energy after they are done with the jutsu, although inevitably there is some loss of chakra due to it not being 100% efficient.


    Then there''s the fact that there are literal gods in the Naruto verse. So far as I had seen and remember, there have been 3 gods up until now, Shinigami, the God of Death, Lord Jashin and finally Shibai Otsotsuki.


    Shinigami is the existence which is the embodiment of the very concept of death, thus, he is immortal. When summoned through the Reaper Death Seal, he rips the target''s soul along with the users upon being summoned and sealing them both into his stomach for all eternity to battle it out. Not to mention he is only visible to the summoner and he becomes visible to the target only after he grabs their soul through the summoner''s soul suggesting that he lives in another dimension and needs a medium to interact with the normal dimension. Possibly a dimension like the Limbo dimension.


    Then there''s Lord Jashin, I still don''t know much if anything about about him. In fact, there''s a popular theory that he either doesn''t exist and that Hidan was immortal from the start and made up a religion and a god to cope with his trauma and justify his actions, or that he is actually the Shinigami or something like his high ranking subordinate and hence has the ability to grant immortality, it also makes sense that in such a case, they would indeed want human souls sacrificed to them. Also, let''s not forget that there are quite a few similarities between the two like the rituals, the symbols, etc.


    And lastly there''s Shibai Otsotsuki who is the most straightforward. He was a regular Otsotsuki in the beginning, but after destroying thousand''s of planets over thousands of years, reincarnating through the Karma Markings an uncountable amount of times and eating their chakra fruit, he reached the realm of godhood. He''s also most likely the final antagonist of Boruto series. While his full abilities are unknown, with his level of Shinjutsu, it''s safe to say that he won''t be reaching that level any time soon.... but, that''s of course not to say he won''t.


    After all, Shinjutsu is termed as chakra based abilities which produce results akin to divine miracles without the need for weaving a single hand sign. Understanding the inner workings of Shinjutsu is going to be the key to his ascension to godhood.


    Another very important ability to understand, which can easily take out even Otsotsuki level threats is the Rasengan Uzuhiko created by Boruto. Fortunately, it relies a lot on science as well and is simple enough to explain.


    The Rasengan Uzuhiko works by using the Earth''s centrifugal force generated as a (by-product of inertia as energy) to attack the opponent, Boruto refers to this as The Planet''s Chakra, which is not to be confused with nature energy.


    It anchors a person or essentially locks them into place relative to another person not on Earth which means that their body is trying to resist the Earth''s rotation to stay in motion but can''t causing the person to feel the Coriolis force first hand. This is like a somewhat downgraded version of Shinjutsu and is easily a SS rank jutsu.


    However, doing this isn''t easy as one needs to be anchored to the Earth''s surface themselves and then "gather" Planetary chakra to attack their opponent. Which means they need to charge the attack and have two feet on the ground at all times while charging this move.


    Of course, understanding and having mastery of shape manipulation of chakra and subsequently, the normal Rasengan as well is very beneficial not to mention that Rasengan is an A - rank jutsu in and of itse..lf....''


    Just as Kagaku was thinking, a bell rang, signaling to come back for dinner judging by the situation and the kids complaining about not getting to play as much as they wanted. And so, he along with all the other children went to the orphanage''s diner.


    ''I can''t tell if whomever they sent to spy on me is still watching or not, after all, a regular kid like me wouldn''t be able to sense them even if I already know that they are most likely there. Now, I need to get through this night and into my room and think about what would be the best way to progress from this point.


    I need to be careful against the Konoha higher ups, knowing them, if I start showing interest in ninja knowledge and career, they will undoubtedly try to brainwash me into a mindless soldier who follows any command they give without question. Well.... it''s not like that''s a bad thing in this case either, after all, it means that it''s all going according to my plan.....''

 Chapter 4: Youre playing checkers, while Im playing chess!

    Kagaku went in with the other children while talking to some kids he was pretending to play with earlier and they had become ''fast friends'' forming an adorable little group of 4,3 year olds.


    There is a boy with dirty blond hair and turquoise coloured eyes who is the ''ray of sunshine'' of the group and likes to play very much, he seems to be able make friends with anybody instantly, he was the one who approached Kagaku to play with his group. In fact, it could even be said that he has a very diluted form of the legendary Talk no jutsu. His name is Kato Nakamura.


    Then there is the meek but smart girl called Yuka Tachibana, she has dull purple-violet hair, grey eyes and isn''t too keen on having conversations, but when someone messes with her friends she gets how to put this... riled up.... one kid who tried to pick on Kagaku for being new found that out first hand.


    And lastly, there is another boy who was the relatively calm and intelligent one, he was the de facto leader of their little group. His name is Sora Takahashi and he has black hair and hazel eyes, he is quite confident and mature for his age and tries to give off the protector vibe. It was honestly a bit funny to Kagaku to see a 3 year old acting like this.


    "Hey! Kagaku whatsh you think we get for eat?", Kato asked in a manner of speech that would be considered normal for a kid barely 3.


    "Hmm..... I don''t know really, I''m new here after all, I guess we''ll see." Kagaku replied not so normally.... in a way that would be impressive if even if a 4 year old were to manage it. He was trying his best to sound like a formidable genius considering that anbu or other ninjas were likely watching him.


    While chatting, the door of the diner arrived as of course kids who could barely speak wouldn''t be allowed too far away, the diner''s gate looked quite big, easily twice as big as Akane although upon closer inspection, it was really just a big hall in which they kept makeshift chairs and tables.


    There were many caretakers running around after misbehaving kids and trying to usher everybody into their respective seats. A caretaker suddenly stepped up and announced, "Alright everybody! Let''s quiet down now, no talking while eating ok? And today, we''ll be having your guys'' favorite, curry rice!"


    Hearing what they would be eating, a chorus of "Yay!!" echoed through the dining hall. The caretakers rushed to quiet them down and after a while, everybody finally settled down as the food arrived.


    ''I see..... curry rice, it''s a favorite among children, is cheap to make and has good nutritional value too, it seems Konoha at least has at least one good orphana....ge...???


    Why are some of the caretakers specifically looking at me? Are they just their for surveillance? But, that doesn''t make any sense, if they wanted to do that, they could just get a half-decent ninja to do it, after all, it doesn''t matter how much of a genius a 2 year old is, he wouldn''t be able to detect a ninja if they didn''t want to be detected, no matter what.


    So, the only logical explanation here is.... they want me to know.... they want me to know that they are keeping an eye on me.... but why do that? It''s not like they would gain anything, they don''t get money, personal pleasure or information.... wait! That''s it!


    This must be a test! They want to see how good my self awareness is and if I can detect people if they try to secretly observe me.


    And, judging by the amount of people I can sense, I think that they might even have taken the liberty of having people who are progressively better at handing their intentions and themselves, observing me.


    So.... should I intentionally reveal that I know what they are upto, or should I try to hide it? .... No, if I try to intentionally reveal it, it would be obvious that I''m doing so..... these are ninjas we are talking about!


    Even if I try to secretly look at the people I can detect, the ninjas will be able to tell that I''m doing so. And doing it this way also drives home the fact that I''m a once in a generation genius.


    I can currently sense a total of 9 caretakers looking at me, just based on pure instincts as I haven''t yet unlocked the supernatural abilities of chakra yet. If my theory is correct, there should be more who are hiding but I just can''t sense them... well what do I do now? Should I just reveal that I can sense those 9 people or..... try to look at them secretly?


    No, that would be extremely stupid to do, ninja should easily be able to tell that I have noticed them... but.... isn''t that a better plan regardless? I can let them think I tried to conceal the fact I noticed those caretakers.''


    Then, deciding on his plan of action, Kagaku looked at each of the nine caretakers as covertly as he could. Paused before starting to eat, and decided, ''I think this is the one which is really gonna drive it home...''


    "Hey, Kato! Do you want some of mine too? I don''t think I can eat this much." Kagaku said in jovial tone.


    "Really? You sure?" Kato asked to get confirmation.


    While chuckling, Kagaku replied, "Yes yes, of course you can! Go on, I insist."


    Kato''s face brightened up as he said, "Kagaku you the best! Thank you!" Just as he was saying this, he took some food from Kagaku''s plate.


    While he was ''secretly'' observing if the food had any adverse effects on Kato, he chatted with Yuka, Sora and Kato about how much they liked the food and what was their favorite dishes.


    ''While I can say with a near 100% certainty that the food isn''t poisoned, considering the higher-ups likely find me to be a useful asset in the future, making them think that I am careful enough to not eat something from a place I haven''t known for half a day.


    This will be something that is in either case useful to me, I want the resources of the root but without it''s restrictions, the only way I can accomplish that is if I appeal to both Danzo and Hiruzen and I need to be willing to follow out Danzo''s commissions but still need to honor Hiruzen as the top of the command chain.

    This allows me to get resources from both the root, the anbu and the normal shinobi forces. While I can use Hiruzen as a shield against Danzo to keep his Curse Seals away from me. Of course, to accomplish thus, I need to appeal to both parties a lot.


    The fact that I didn''t trust the orphanage and gave my food to another kid before eating it myself shows that I''m cautious and ruthless enough even at this age that I''ll give my food to a friend just to check if it''s poisoned, this would be quite appealing to Danzo.


    Whereas Hiruzen would think this to be a good quality of the genius kid and hold some favor to him in his heart. He would likely not let such a talented and kind hearted kid fall into the darkness of the root.


    Of course, even though I haven''t known them for long, I come from the modern world and as such the idea of killing just puts me off slightly, although in this world, it truly is ''Kill or be killed.'' So I''ll have to kill eventually and I''d like to get it out of the way soon.... because freezing up in the battlefield is equivalent to dying.


    Not to mention, killing a 3 year old orphan kid just to protect myself from poisoning..... it just doesn''t sit right with me. If I knew or thought that the food had a realistic chance of being poisoned, I would have just found out a way to not let anyone eat it.''


    In one of the corners of the ceiling, a chunin was sitting there, he let out a sigh while thinking, ''Man, why did Hokage sama appoint me to watch a kid as a test, he''s not even 3! No matter how much of a genius, someone who''s not even 3 couldn''t possibly detect ninjas if they didn''t want to be discovered.''


    But then, as he was looking at the boy, he was surprised, the kid looked over at all nine of their non-ninja missionaries, i.e. the nine caretakers each, one by one out of the corner of his eye for a good two seconds each.


    Then he was even more surprised as the kid gave some part of his curry rice to another kid for seemingly no other reason than the other kid looking like he was expecting more food. After all, kids this age shouldn''t know how to judge what the other person is thinking about from just their facial expressions and body language.


    ''No wonder Hogake sama was so interested in him, he even gave me this mission personally, calling him just a genius is a grave understatement and he is also very kind and seems to become fast friends with people. His talent and intellect is just off the charts, he could easily be compared with the likes of Minato, who got the highest score ever in the academy even though he graduated at the age of 10!''


    Whereas a root chunin in the corner of the same floor was thinking somewhat similarly to the previous ninja except with Danzo instead of Hiruzen. But when he saw the stunt Kagaku pulled later, he was astonished to say the least.


    Exasperated, the root ninja thought, ''N-No way right? Did that kid just give food to his friend to check if it was poisoned or not?


    That''s.... I can''t even put it into words! This kid..... Danzo sama mentioned he had quite a dark past, but to be like this at his age..... he''s perfect for the darkness! Root would be the perfect place for such an extraordinary child!''


    Both chunins immediately called over a genin of their respective allegiance to report back to Danzo and Hiruzen respectively. Both stating that Kagaku was a genius surpassing most if not everyone of the past by a margin that could by no means be considered small and that Kagaku was perfect for their respective organization, reporting the things they had seen and what they interpreted it as.


    The common point was of course that Kagaku''s talent and intellect was off the charts and even if he didn''t have much talent as a Shinobi, he could still become one of the greatest threats to enemies just based off of his intellect. This is by no means a small feat, being like this at the mental age of 1! It..... seems impossible yet the chunins saw it with their own eyes.


    The rest of the meal passed without incident as Kagaku tried but failed to locate any other people observing him while chatting with his friend group.


    After the meal, the kids were apparently allowed to go do what they wanted under supervision of course. At this time, Kagaku went to visit Akane, the matron as she had told him to come back to her after having dinner. ''Well, this is sure to be interesting..... I wonder what she wanted to see me for'' Kagaku thought as he asked a caretaker for directions after mentioning Akane''s name.


    Once he arrived, he realized it was some sort of office for the matron on a separate building than the living quarters and the dining hall. After knocking on the door twice, he heard a muffled voice saying, "Come in Kagaku, I''ve been expecting you."


    After hearing the confirmation, Kagaku went in although, he had a few difficulties considering that the handle was taller than he was but nothing a bit of jumping couldn''t fix.


    But then, Akane said something that was really a bit unexpected.....


    "So, Kagaku, I''ll get straight to the point ok? How would you like to start your ninja training starting tomorrow?"


    ''Huh??? Starting tomorrow? That''s crazy, I haven''t even unlocked chakra yet in fact, I''m not even supposed to know what chakra is.


    What do I even do .... it would be nice to test out my theories but that would require me awakening the ability to use chakra myself and will be quite inefficient. On the other end, it provides secrecy and allows me to more easily stockpile trump cards for the future.


    On the flip side, if I choose to follow through, I''ll get training by either Danzo or/and Hiruzen although of course, not personally for a while but from their respective subordinates. If I choose this, my strength would improve faster but I''ll have less confidentiality.


    Hmm.....'' After thinking about it for a while, while the matron gave him some space to sort out his thoughts, he finally replied,


    "I would like to....."

 Chapter 5: Surprises and expectations

    [A/N: For those who think that Konoha is way too interested in Kagaku and is directing a lot of resources at him for no reason, The Second World War is coming up, to deal with this, even canonically Konoha directed a lot of it''s resources towards the development of the genius of Konoha, Minato Namikaze. So, to discover a genius who is even better, undoubtedly Konoha would direct a lot of resources to him as well.]


    "I would like to start tomorrow!" Kagaku said feigning excitement.


    Akane chuckled and said, "Good, good... it seems you are quite exited, come here at 5 a.m. sharp tomorrow and don''t be late, you will have to wake up yourself as well though you are provided with an alarm clock."


    Kagaku replied in affirmation, "Yes of course Akane oba-chan! But.... can I get some reading material about what we are going to be doing, to read tonight?"


    Akane though internally shocked replied calmly, "Reading material? Kagaku, do you know how to read?"


    "Yes! Mom and dad taught it to me before they... were murdered."


    ''His talent surpasses what we had thought previously, if only he has the same talent for being a ninja, we will have another prodigy who an grow up to become a pillar of Konoha! Starting his training right now was indeed the right choice!'' Akane thought and then said, "Of course! That''s not a problem Kagaku! The caretakers taking you to your room will bring the scrolls with them."


    "Really? Thanks Akane oba-chan! I''ll study everything before coming here!" Kagaku thanked.


    "Okay now, go play with the others while I set up everything, and remember, 5 a.m. sharp ok?"


    "Of course! You don''t have to worry about me being late!"


    After saying this, Kagaku ran off in the direction of the other kids. Seeing this, Akane smiled and disappeared in a shunshin.

    In a small office, in an undisclosed location sat both Hiruzen and Danzo discussing the upcoming 2nd Shinobi World War and the recent attempt of Kumo to abduct their jinchuriki. Suddenly, a knock came from the door.


    "Come in." replied Hiruzen calmly knowing who it was by sensing their chakra signature.


    Then, ''Akane'' walked in and while kneeling said, "Hokage sama, Elder Danzo sama, I have the report on ''The Second Light'' mission."


    "Good, report." Danzo said coldly.


    Akane looked up with astonishment clear in her eyes and said, "He is exceptional! Or rather, it would be an understatement to say so. I am thoroughly convinced that he could outshine even ''The Light in Darkness'' given time to develop."


    "Time huh... time is the thing we are lacking the most, tensions are high and the war could break out any minute now. How do you propose we allow him time to develop?" Hiruzen asked.


    "He is not even 3 Hokage sama, however, I think he could be allowed to join the anbu after a couple of years of training. Due to his young age, we can''t expect him to be able to fight on the front lines so soon, but if it''s necessary..... he should be able to perform assassinations by the time the war starts picking up. I think we should divert even more resources towards him."


    "Alright, for now see if he has a talent to become a ninja, then we can decide what actions need to be taken." Hiruzen replied.


    "Yes sir!" After saying this, Akane disappeared once again into a shunshin.


    After a few moments of silence, Danzo spoke up, "Hiruzen you took Minato and the jinchuriki, now, at least you have to give me this kid, he''s perfect for the root."


    "No, he''s a kind hearted boy, I''ll give you a couple more Abarame instead, they are more suitable anyways." Hiruzen replied in a stern voice.


    "You will regret this Hiruzen!" Danzo spoke in an angered voice.


    "I am the Hokage." Hiruzen calmly replied, after all, he had long gotten used to the antics of his old friend. ''That always shuts him up.'' Hiruzen thought gleefully.


    Hearing this, Danzo stood up angrily and walked out of the office.

    Back in the orphanage, a caretaker guided Kagaku to his ''room'', it was really just like a large hallway with 5 bunkbeds on each side. With a total of 20 kids in the room. Showing him his bed, which was the top of the bunkbed in the right corner furthest away from the entrance to the room, with a window beside it.


    After showing him his bed, the caretaker gave him 3 books, some toy kunai and shuriken made of wood and a ninja figurine, he now had 2! And for now, he kept the books aside.


    Then after chatting a bit with his bunkbed partners, he found out that his friends were in another room, though it was just a little ways away from his room.


    After getting to know the kids around him, he also found that everyone was much older than him, the average was 10 years so, everyone treated him like a little brother.


    They were of course very shocked that Kagaku was just 2.5 years old and yet was still so mature and intelligent.


    Then, after a couple of minutes a caretaker came in the room and announced alright everybody! It''s bedtime, lights out!


    Hearing this, everyone shuffled to their respective beds and tucked themselves into their blankets. While a few asked Kagaku if he would be okay sleeping alone and that too in the top bunkbed.


    Kagaku assured them that he was more than capable of it but in the end was forced to keep two pillows by his side to ensure that he doesn''t fall of. Although that was much easier considering one side was a wall and the other was a wall with a window.


    Then, in a bit, the lights went out and the room turned dark with only faint lights coming from outside the windows which were also promptly closed using blinds.


    The only faint light that remained was the window next to Kagaku giving him a view of the training ground of the orphanage for the kids who were in the academy and this couldn''t use training grounds without special permission.


    ''Hmm.....I think I should try it now... I will try to unlock my chakra right now!'' Thinking this, Kagaku started remembering his own theories and the in universe information he had about chakra due to his previous life.

    ''Chakra is supposed to be the combination of Yin and Yang... isn''t that similar to..... antimatter and matter? When they two meet, they annihilate each other perfectly and release massive amounts of energy, this would explain how people are able to put out massive attacks of energy.


    Although.... the fact that there are some techniques like genjutsu and medical ninjutsu which use only one of the two, Yin Release and Yang Release respectively. This would disprove the antimatter and matter theory I suppose.


    But if the theory was right then that would also mean that the durability of literally everything is just off the charts. To the point where you could consider a small rock to have the durability of a large building, we''ll that''s just an example I''ll have to do the calculations to find the exact conversion


    Although..... The insane durability could be explained by natural energy, it''s said that everything that exists on the Earth of the Naruto world, has natural chakra running through it. Which can be absorbed by sages.


    This means that the nature energy is not really..... you could say the stone. Energy and Mass are the manifestations of the same thing and nature energy isn''t the thing it''s in, it''s in a free energy state.''


    Kagaku sighed and thought, ''That''s more than enough thinking for now I suppose, well..... here goes nothing I guess...''


    Thinking this, Kagaku began ''looking inside himself'' to find his chakra. But after a while.... he couldn''t.... he couldn''t find his chakra anywhere.


    ''The chakra you are supposed to find should be the one my body naturally creates. So.... if I instead try to create chakra from spiritual energy and physical energy myself..... that should also so the trick right?''


    Then, Kagaku began to try and merge ''opposites'' as that was what Yin and Yang were. Surprisingly it wasn''t that hard considering he could feel something he could only describe as abyssal dark.... it was the Yin Release chakra.


    ''I see.... so thinking or doing any sort of mental tasks stimulates mental energy then thay should be applicable to physical energies well.....'' Thinking this, Kagaku started doing exercises he could do on the bed without too much hassle like push ups, sit ups, etc.


    Now, he when he looked inside himself, he found a brilliant white light! ''Finally! ..... Yang release chakra!''


    After clearly seeing both of these in his mind, Kagaku tried to bring them together and make them combined into one thing.


    But moving the entire thing felt like it was impossible, maybe that''s good considering these energies are supposed to represent mental and physical capabilities.


    To overcome this, Kagaku decided to tear off small equal chunks from both and then try to merge them. This time.....


    A brilliant blue light engulfed his mind and in the real world, his body began glowing a bright blue hue. This happened due to his chakra leaking as he wasn''t able to control it just yet. But, with the release of this chakra, the sensors sensed a chakra spike in one of the dorms and rushed there.


    When the ninjas arrived, they were flabbergasted.... The ''genius kid'' they had been notified of was..... glowing a blue hue..... this.... this is the signal of awakening chakra!


    The same thoughts ran through everyone''s minds, ''This kid..... no this absolute monster... no kid who''s not even 3 could ever even imagine unlocking their chakra themselves! If thus kid is allowed to grow up..... he might just become the god of shinobi of this time.''


    Some would say that this is over exaggerating the feat, the God of shinobi from just seeing the kid unlock chakra? That''s absurd right? No.... no it''s not. After all, even the most genius kids like Minato required major assistance unlocking their chakra and still could only do it by the time they were 4 or 5.


    Even if someone unlocks their chakra on their own, it''s due to them having studied chakra for years and having a deep understanding of chakra.


    ''This Kagaku Heishi..... his name is going to strike fear into the hearts of our enemies, if only the second world war could be delayed by a couple years..... we would certainly have another S - Rank ninja considering his talent!'' Just as everyone was thinking this, the matron of the orphanage, Akane came into the room.


    It had been an hour after lights were turned off so all the other kids were entering deep sleep and thus didn''t get woken up by the light.


    Akane walked into the room and asked, "What is going on he...re...." Akane''s eyes widened as she saw Kagaku covered in a faint blue light. "This.... this isn''t possible...."


    Akane glanced towards the books she had given on the shelf and with one glance could discern that they hadn''t even been opened yet.


    "His talent..... it far surpasses anyone in the history of Konoha!" Akane muttered under her breath. '' ''The Second Light'' truly outshines the ''Light in Darkness'' by a long shot..... Konoha''s enemies will die to his hands.... they will shake in fear just hearing his name!.... Kagaku Heishi!''


    After calming everyone down, Akane decided that it would be better to let Kagaku sleep for now and ask questions later but just as she was about to ask him to go to sleep..... Kagaku collapsed onto his bed!


    "Kagaku!" Everyone had now thought the future of Konoha to be in Kagaku''s hands now saw that future collapse was shocked and rushed towards him.


    Akane was the first to catch him and observed him carefully, trying to keep her calm..... ''If this kid dies then I''ll be striping Konoha of a brilliant future! I cant let him die here!''

 Chapter 6: The Consequences of Showing Talent in the Ninja World

    [A/N: I''m setting some milestones, if we reach a milestone like 100 unique followers, 50k views, etc I will upload more chapters for a while after we reach a milestone. By the way, I was reviewing the recent chapters and was quite disappointed, they were written in a hurry but still.... I wasn''t satisfied by the quality so I will also be rewriting those sometime in the future. Anyways, I know it''s a bit late but, Happy Diwali everyone!]


    After the scare, Akane eventually concluded that it was simple chakra exhaustion due to expending a lot of chakra immediately after awakening it as Kagaku didn''t have control over it, it''s a fairly common phenomenon in people with low chakra pools.


    This however, didn''t mean that Kagaku had a small chakra pool by any means, as normally, the person who helped awaken the chakra by injecting some of their own controls their chakra inside of the person to prevent chakra leakage.


    They can''t do this instantly so, the people who have lower chakra pools faint before the ninja assisting them can stop the chakra leakage.


    In the case of Kagaku however, he unlocked chakra on his own, as such there was no one to stop the chakra leakage he experienced, ultimately resulting in him exhausting a lot of chakra which his body want used to yet and thus caused him to faint.


    As he had unlocked chakra just now, his chakra pathway wasn''t used to channeling so much chakra at once and thus he hadn''t depleted a lot of chakra unlike the case with trained ninjas who use all but the bare minimum needed to stay alive.


    So, even though normally it would take a few weeks or even months for a ninja to recover from chakra exhaustion depending on the severity of the condition and the strength of the person, Kagaku should be up and about in a couple of days.


    After assessing Kagaku''s condition, Akane lowered him to a stretcher the caretakers had brought and ordered, "Keep him in the highest quality medical room. Axolotl, you will be responsible for watching over him, the rest of you, return to your posts."


    "Hai!" The anbu named Axolotl responded in confirmation while two anbu picked up the stretcher and looked towards Akane for further orders.


    "One of you, create a clone and henge it into Kagaku and clean up. Make sure everything is seamless. Now, disperse!" Akane issued her orders.


    All anbu followed her commands without question and soon the room returned to normal as if nothing had happened.


    Meanwhile, Akane wrote reports of what happened and sent it to Hiruzen and Danzo through anbu and root respectively.


    Considering it was quite late, both were already asleep.... of course it goes without saying, when they woke up the next day, their expressions were a sight to see.


    The room eventually returned to tranquility and the rest of the night passed without incident, however, rumors were circulating among the anbu about an orphan genius who had awakened chakra on his own and had quite a lot of it.


    Needless to say, the ones who weren''t present during the said incident found it incredibly hard to believe and many outright refused to do so saying that it was more likely that all the anbu were in cahoots and were pranking everybody out of boredom rather than such an absurd thing happening.


    They weren''t entirely wrong, after all such an event was unprecedented and hadn''t been accomplished by even the likes of Hashirama and Madara, who were in a league of their own, they were known and feared throughout the shinobi world as the God of Shinobi and the Ghost of the Uchiha respectively.


    The anbu weren''t the only ones shocked by this, when Danzo, Hiruzen and the elders woke up, they immediately called a meeting among themselves, such an extraordinary event happening was certainly important enough to do so.


    When the news spread throughout the village, many civilians didn''t really understand why all the ninjas and the higher-ups like the hokage and the elders were getting so worked up over it. One such civilian who had a ninja friend enquired the reason for this ruckus.


    And after some small talk, they finally got to the real topic.


    "Hey.... Keitsuki, do you know why some orphan kid awakening his chakra is a big deal? I mean I heard he is very young and all but we have geniuses like Minato Namikaze who even graduated at the ago of ten. So why is this so much better? They didn''t create nearly this much ruckus that time." The civilian asked to his ninja friend.


    The ninja confused for a second quickly realized that civilians likely don''t understand the magnitude of the situation here and thus replied, "Bro, it is a huge deal, normally people can only unlock a relatively measly amount of chakra at 4 or 5 years old and that too with the help of someone else opening up their chakra pathways. The only real difference between normal people and geniuses at this time is that geniuses can unlock their chakra at a younger age and/or maybe have more chakra than the average.


    This applies to everyone, not even Hashirama sama or Madara Uchiha could unlock their chakra by themselves, it''s something that is considered impossible.


    Whereas that kid..... Kagaku Heishi, he not only awakened his chakra on his own, he also did so at an absurdly young age of 2.5 and the chakra he released was very high and he didn''t even go into a pseudo-coma signaling he has much more. Not to mention it is said that he had just woken up from a 1.5 year coma which just makes it even more impressive. I could go on and on about how insane this situation is dude.


    We are probably witnessing the rise of someone on the same level as Hashirama sama and Madara Uchiha no.... most likely way stronger than that. If this kid is allowed to grow up..... he could single handedly make the entire Ninja World bow before him."


    Flabbergasted, the civilian replied, "Really? Someone who is way stronger than even First Hokage sama!? I didn''t realise we were witnessing such an extraordinary event!"


    The ninja amused at his friend finally getting what was considered the most obvious thing in the ninja circle advised, "Well, look who finally gets it! Anyways dude, I recommend you try to garner favour with him as soon as possible, you will probably not be successful considering that every ninja clan and influential ninjas from civilian backgrounds will also try their best to do the same. After all, who wouldn''t want to have someone who will become as remarkable as that be their benefactor."


    "Of course I''ll try to get on his good side, I''m not that much of an idiot, unlike you!" The civilian retorted.

    Four figures sat around a circular table in a dimly lit room. These were ofcourse Hiruzen Sarutobi, the third Hokage and the three elders, Danzo Shimura, Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado who were currently in an emergency meeting called surprisingly by both Hiruzen and Danzo simultaneously.


    Koharu asked, "What is so pressing that both of you called an emergency meeting? Don''t tell me... is it about the absurd rumors spreading in the village." While Homura nodded expressing his curiosity about the matter.


    Danzo replied with an emotionless voice, " It''s not just a rumor, in fact if anything, the rumors are understating the achievement of this Kagaku kid. The chakra was sensed even by us during the night despite being on practically the opposite side of the village."


    Both Homura and Koharu''s eyes widened, they were astonished..... such praise from Danzo! It''s worth mentioning that Danzo is as stingy as Tobirama in terms of praise. To receive such compliments from Danzo was almost as unprecedented as someone awakening their chakra on their own, it had never happened!


    Hiruzen spoke up, "Indeed, what Danzo said is true...." He smiled and added in a jovial tone, "Besides, I''m sure you two must have understood the gist of the situation after hearing Danzo complement someone so generously."


    Hearing this, Danzo frowned slightly and in a vaguely defensive voice said, "I give credit where credit is due Hiruzen."


    To an outsider, it would seem like Danzo wasn''t affected much by these comments, however, considering it was Danzo who said this, it was akin to pouting and shouting in rebuttal like a little kid. Being close childhood friends of Danzo, the three smiled briefly remembering their younger days where Danzo was always gave the cold attitude to everyone but was actually a friendly person on the inside.


    "Stop going off topic Hiruzen, we are here to discuss what to do with Kagaku. He is a never before seen genius. He could easily become the most powerful shinobi in the history of the shinobi world. Hand him to me and I will mold him into the perfect weapon for the village.


    He will be even greater than Hashirama, he could unite the shinobi world under Konoha. Effectively also achieving world peace, isn''t that what you and your student wanted Hiruzen? This is the best option Hiruzen, if you hand him to me, he will be able to achieve both our goals."


    All three turned serious hearing this and everyone looked at Hiruzen to hear his answer.


    "No, Danzo... Kagaku isn''t suitable for the root, he is much like Hashirama sensei, he will be better off in the light rather than the darkness, besides to pressure the other villages, we need his strength to be in the limelight." Hiruzen replied resolutely.


    "Yes but he needs to aquire that strength first and we need to keep him in the dark until he reaches such a level of strength. And for that, root is the best place." Danzo countered fiercely.


    Then a back and forth between Hiruzen and Danzo ensued and in the end, they came to an agreement with the two other elders as mediators and witnesses.


    Koharu finalizing the agreement said, "So, this is is the final agreement. Kagaku Heishi will henceforth be trained under both root and anbu, he can decide to continue in either of them exclusively at anytime. Meanwhile, he will be staying in a house in the ninja section of district 1. When he obtains enough strength, he will become a normal ninja to repel the other villages.


    This agreement is henceforth an SSS Rank secret and shall not be disclosed to anyone outside of the training personel and Kagaku Heishi.


    The rumors about Kagaku Heishi will be labelled as absurd and impossible, being a practical joke played by some bored anbu members to spark some excitement and to accomplish this, the anbu and/or root ninjas who were not present during the incident will be told the same and the ones present will be sworn to secrecy.


    If the truth is revealed, it will be punishable by death. The ones already knowledgeableof the incident will be responsible for the completion of the task to convince everyone that this was merely a prank, this mission is a long term SS Rank mission with Chameleon as it''s lead.


    Does anyone have any objections?"


    A unanimous "No" came from all other occupants of the room and with that, the matter was finally settled and everyone dispersed to their quaters, some with lingering thoughts.


    Danzo and Hiruzen simultaneously thought, ''I need to make that kid blindly loyal to me or else... he will do so. It''s better to convince him in his early years, I should personally visit him often.''


    Over the next few days, the rumors died down as it was revealed that the ''truth'' of the matter was that it was just some night shift anbu who were bored and decided to prank everyone for fun.


    The reactions of the people who had believed it to be the second coming of Hashirama were disappointed and embarrassed by the comments of the people who had coincidentally believed that it was indeed a prank.


    The other villages, with minor and major were already shaken by the prospect of such a kid emerging had calmed down after learning that it was just some silly prank.


    However, some still had the lingering feeling of doubt in their minds that it could be true... although they were quickly discarded as the absurdity of the rumors was just too much.


    Four days after the incident, Kagaku awoke up to an unfamiliar ceiling..... "No.... no, not possible right? I couldn''t have died and reincarnated again could I?"


    Though after looking around and seeing the now familiar anime people wearing animal masks, he realised the situation and sighed in relief "Well... at least we didn''t get deported again...."


    Then, suddenly, a voice from his right said, "Kagaku Heishi, your exceptional talent was noticed by the village and as a result, you shall henceforth live in the house alloted to you by the village and will be trained by two groups, the anbu and the root. You have three days of rehabilitation before your training will begin."


    ''Quite straightforward and blunt, no comforting or baby voice.... it seems that the village is taking me quite seriously.... but why? I haven''t done much as of now, I only just unlocked my chakra and then passed out..... probably due to chakra exhaustion.


    But there''s no real reason why they are treating me as if I did something that not even Hashirama could accomplish...''

 Chapter 7: The Road to Becoming the Strongest and Realization...

    [A/N: Regarding the milestones, it''s not like I have set these goals in stone or something, if I feel like I accomplished something cool, then I''ll upload more as a celebration.]


    "Right.... so, will I be staying here or somewhere else? For that matter, where even am I? This doesn''t look like one of the general rooms of the Konoha hospital." Kagaku probed to figure out his exact condition.


    The anbu ninja wearing a mask that Kagaku could only make out was some sort of amphibian, maybe a salamander or an axolotl, replied, "This is the Konoha hospital''s highest quality medical room and yes, you will be staying here for rehabilitation purposes. I am Axolotl, in charge of your recovery and medical ninjutsu training. So, if you have any questions, feel free to ask."


    Kagaku nodded in understanding and said, "I see... I do have a couple of questions. May I ask them right now?"


    "Go ahead." Axolotl replied.


    Hearing this, Kagaku held nothing back and started asking all of his questions, "I will ask a series of questions, please reply to them in chronological order. First and foremost, can I get a book with a summary of well.... everything related to ninjas and whatever else I''m gonna be trained in? I had some books given to me by the matron if my orphanage as well, can you bring me those? And my other belongings too?


    Who is going to train me in root and anbu and what are their qualifications? For how much time am I going to be trained by the two factions? Which things and till what extent am I going to be learning? If I wish to, can I train on my own? What''s going to be my schedule during these three days of rehabilitation? What is my training schedule going to be once the three days are over?


    And finally, you said that I will be provided a house by the village, what about rent, water and electricity bills? Also will I be given a pension to buy groceries or will they be provided as I''m assuming you''re not going to leave me with nothing and in the case of a pension, how much will I be given?


    Axolotl was taken aback for a moment but quickly composed himself and thought, ''Whoa I knew this kid is a genius in terms of chakra and is pretty smart but damn, he talks like a seasoned ninja who just woke up from unconsciousness. It''s as though he is a genius in every sense of the word.''


    Axolotl responded after a moment of thinking, "The matron of your orphanage had informed us that one of the first things you will ask for are the books you already posses and for more books on the summary of being a ninja as well as your other belongings and as such, we have already arranged them, the books are on your right and the rest of your stuff is in the cupboard towards your right, next to the window.


    There will be a specialist to teach you for every field and every single one will either be an anbu with the strength of a jonin or an elite jonin who is a master of their field.


    The amount of time you will be trained for overall and in particular fields depends on your future performance and strength.


    At the start, you will be trained in the basics and then in all fields. Throughout your training, you will be constantly assessed to see what your current level is and based on that, your further education will be determined."


    Then, in an off putting sweet tone, he continued, "Yes of course!... you are free to do whatever you want in your downtime. You can train on your own if you want... if you can that is."


    When Kagaku heard this, a shiver went through his spine and even though he couldn''t see the face of Axolotl due to the mask, he could almost feel his sadistic grin underneath.


    Then as if nothing happened, he continued, "For these three days, I and other medical professionals will come for three hours each day, during the morning, afternoon and evening for one hour each to examine your body and check for any issues.


    You will also be taught the general overview of being a ninja for 3 hours each day, the aim is for you to be familiar with the basic concepts of being a ninja by the end of the rehabilitation period. The rest of the time will be your downtime but I would advise you read the material given to you on your own in that time.


    As for the schedule after the rehabilitation period is over, well..... you will be informed of it at the start of your training.


    As I said, you will be provided a house to live in, rent, water, electricity bills, etc will be paid by the village and as for groceries, you will have to buy them yourself with the pension you will be provided. The amount will be 30,000 Ryo."


    ''30,000 Ryo??? That''s way more than enough to live a comfortable lifestyle. After all, 1 Ryo กึ 15 ฃค this is calculated through seeing the price of something in Ryo and comparing it to the real world ฃค. Excluding housing costs, with กึ 450,000 ฃค a single person could live a lifestyle considered lavish not to mention ninjas get discounts for their service in many parts of the village much like the real world. Although considering a ninja''s lifestyle, they would eat way more than a normal civilian would due to their higher demand for energy.


    It looks like they indeed value me quite highly, the only thing I did was awaken my chakra and show impressive mental capabilities, the latter shouldn''t elicit such an overreaction so this must have something to do with me awakening my chakra.


    This is most likely the case considering that even in the Anime, Manga and the several data books, the exact method of awakening chakra was never really mentioned properly. Exposing a gap in my knowledge.... wait a second.....


    Now that I think about it I''m a huge moron! There''s zero reason for me to think that this is the exact verse of Naruto seen in the anime, manga, etc... even if that''s what you generally see in those transmigration fanfics, out of an infinite number of possible universes, if it was random, then there''s basically zero chance that I ended up in the exact verse of Naruto that was shown in my world.


    I was so caught up in the situation I failed to notice a major flaw in my thinking! I need to reconsider everything! There''s really no way to confirm that this is the Naruto verse unless something like a god interrupts....


    Well then again, other than a higher being, I don''t really have an explanation for this.... but isn''t that the essence of science? Everything is at first attributed to God but later science finds a way to explain it with logic, perhaps one day I will find out the reason and how I was sent here.


    Although gods do exist in this world, they aren''t like the gods described in my original world, they are killable, mortal, if you have enough power this is applicable to even Shibai Otsotsuki, someone recognized as God even by the Otsotsuki.


    Well, there''s really.... nothing I can do is there? I have to assume that this is the Naruto I know from my world. But assumption comes with a fatal flaw, I can never be 100% sure about this world''s functioning, it''s past, present or future.


    I can only use it as a reference. It''s laughable that I forgot about this too... After all I used to ridicule transmigration fanfics with the same logical inconsistency back in my original world.


    This means that gathering knowledge is the first step, however I will have to be careful about doing so as information available to the general public or even ninjas is often proven to be wrong.


    This isn''t like my first world, in that world, for the most part history wasn''t all that off if you considered multiple angles. But here, it''s incredibly easy for the people in power initially like Kaguya or Black Zetsu to manipulate the records.

    This is a dangerous game of my life and death I''m playing here... I can''t be as carefree as the MCs of those transmigration fanfics ignorantly thinking that they know the entire past, present and future of the world they are in. The most absurd thing is that the author makes it work without even a mention or an explanation.


    Maybe the authors thought about this too, but didn''t mention it as it would be too much of a logical inconsistency to ignore and would therefore make the plans of their MCs asinine.


    But anyways, enough thinking about them, I need to prioritize information gathering and training right now, I can''t just rely on the anbu and root personal to teach me either. I need to have enough trump cards that I can easily beat a team of people specifically designed to counter me using the information they have about me.


    But that would require me devoting all my free time towards this and normally that would be impossible for my lazy self but having the threat of death looming over you and knowing that most likely there''s an alien race out there with intentions and power to destroy your entire planet is a pretty good motivator.


    Not to mention, that''s the long term stuff, there are plenty of poisonous snakes in the midst of this ''family'' they call Konoha waiting to strike. So overall, I don''t think I''ll be able to go to sleep without thinking about what would happen if I didn''t work as hard as I can.


    Because in the previous world, if you don''t work hard enough, you will just remain unremarkable but at least you will be alive and at least exist to experience regret. But here, laziness only means certain death, maybe even an excruciating one.


    There''s not even rest after death, as some greedy immoral bastard could drag your soul from the pure lands to do their bidding against your will.''


    And finally, Kagaku understood his situation... this wasn''t some cute and funny adventure story.... it was journey and a fight to survive in a statistically unknown situation with hurdles on every step.


    He was laughing at his younger self for fantasizing about his exact current situation. ''Fanfics really understatement the cruelty and ruthlessness of this world.


    This world isn''t about people with superpowers, or about cool jutsus, it''s about death, war and cunning schemes and the consequences of those things.


    Kakashi is the best example of this, he perfectly embodies real life problems but is just thought of as the cool sensei which is just mad disrespect to both the character and it''s creator.


    Well.... either way, it doesn''t matter what the Naruto community thinks, they aren''t gonna help me out here.''


    Kagaku came out of his every and noticed that Axolotl was just standing there, observing him. Likely, he thought that he was calculating his expenses.


    Well, he is lucky right now, he can think for somewhat long periods of time and have other people assume that he is just thinking about something normal, it''s just taking him time due to his age.


    Kagaku finally spoke up, "Hmm.... 30,000 Ryo is quite a lot for a single person. May I ask if this is in a month or an year?"


    Axolotl replied, "A month. The money you are given is slightly more than enough for a ninja to live comfortably. With the rest of the money, you will be taught finance by experts.


    Keep in mind, this is generally not something a ninja learns but it''s the special order of Lord Hokage and Elder Danzo so won''t find it in the ninja guide."


    ''Hoh? Finance? I see what they are trying to do now.... they want me to become the Hokage. Specifically, like the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju. They seem to believe that I could grow to become as strong or stronger than him.


    Of course, I was going to become so strong, I would make Hashirama say "Is this the power of a God?" Now that would be a sight to see but anyways, this is good.... very good.


    The village seems to be thoroughly invested in my development, all according to plan.... well... maybe just a little early but let''s go with, that was part of my plan as well.''


    "I see... just one more question, when does the rehabilitation and theoretical classes start?" Kagaku asked.


    Axolotl replied, "Well, it''s 11 am right now so, you have 1 hour until lunch and then 3 hours after that, is the rehab session at 3 pm. Your theoretical lessons are 1 hour after that. I''ll be here to take you around.


    Make sure you are ready by lunch time, again, all your belongings are placed in the cupboard towards your right, next to the window. I would advise you change out of the hospital gown and get ready by lunch. Any more questions?"


    Kagaku nodded and said, "Ok, thanks Axolotl.... uh... how should I address you?"


    Axolotl replied in a monotonous voice, "Sensei or san is fine."


    Kagaku nodded and continued in an amiable tone, "Ok, Axolotl sensei! Thanks for your patience in answering my questions, I have no more doubts. I''ll be ready by the time lunch is due."


    Axolotl seemed to smile slightly behind his mask and came close and said while ruffling Kagaku''s hair, "Good, keep up that attitude and you''ll definitely be favored almost anyone.


    After all, most people are amiable towards someone who respects and appreciates them."


    Kagaku tried to give his best impression of a cute little kid like he was supposed to be and said in a jovial tone, "Ok, I''ll remember that sensei!"


    Kagaku thought for a bit, ''Well that''s some good advice but I should watch out for manipulative people like in my original world...

And sometimes, people say if you don''t respect me, I won''t respect you which sounds pretty fair but what they are really saying is that if you don''t respect me as an authority, I won''t respect you as a person and that''s not ok.-


    That''s how a lot of my friends were treated at their jobs.... it''s a very toxic practice and also hard to really avoid without straight up leaving the job or filing a complaint against that person which is a whole another can of worms on its own.


    Such a thing is inevitable with human nature and there will always be some arrogant prick like that everywhere, probably here too. Luckily here, power rains supreme, so as long as you have enough power, arbitrary things like those don''t matter.


    Well, anyway, enough thinking, I should get to reading the history of the world first to understand what things could be different...''


    [A/N: Now here comes the creative liberties I was talking about, you see, there are some huge plot holes in Naruto for example, basically the entire war arc, Madara''s stupid plan, etc, So, I''m going to change things a bit to make them make more sense.


    And anyway, what''s the point of a fanfic if it doesn''t deviate from the original? Well that and as already mentioned, being in the exact verse of Naruto is statistically impossible too, but that''s mostly just an excuse I suppose... I just wanna write some cool stuff that still makes sense ok?


    I don''t know why but I kinda feel like all I did in this chapter was just go on random rants and call out people on their bs and some other random stuff too. It feels like this chapter was kinda all over the place you know? Well it is the longest chapter I have written so far too...]

 Chapter 8: Information Gathering and Recovery

    Kagaku looked towards the pile of books on his bedside and moved over to search through them but suddenly paused, ''This... feeling... I''m extremely lethargic and weak. Chakra exhaustion is definitely not something to be taken lightly.''


    Kagaku ignored his weakness and started sorting through the books he had. After a little while, he found the book he was looking for and looked at the title, ''The history of the Ninja Villages''.


    ''I see... they wouldn''t give me the history of the Warring Clans period and before. Well, it makes sense, there shouldn''t be many records and not to mention, there''s not much point in giving it to me at this time either. Besides, the information could easily be manipulated by someone like Black Zetsu so it wouldn''t be all that reliable.'' Kagaku thought.


    Then, Kagaku started reading diligently, after all, he was a science student, to him it was quite normal to read a lot of books.


    When the hour he had was almost up, Kagaku finally finished the introductory history book given to him. And started thinking, ''Hmm.... interesting.... the information recorded in this is basically verbatim what was stated to publicly available in the original naruto verse...


    That could mean a lot of things, but at least I can be sure that on the surface, there''s little to no deviation from the original timeline. So in the start, it shouldn''t be too troublesome to proceed as normal.


    This is good, after all, Naruto being one of the most popular anime in existence, many people including me, have considered innumerable ways of surviving and becoming stronger. So, I have several reference points to work off of.


    Anyways, it''s almost time, assuming he''ll come to pick me up five minutes before lunch, he should be here in ten minutes. I should familiarize myself with the place and positions of things and my belongings, I also have to get ready...''


    In the next ten minutes, Kagaku got ready and was now wearing a dark blue shirt with black trousers, that didn''t restrict his movement, these were provided by the village for Kagaku, for training purposes. Although, he didn''t quite look like a ninja considering the fact that he was not even 3 yet.


    After getting ready, while Kagaku was looking out at the village, he suddenly sensed a disturbance.... he couldn''t quite put his finger on it at the moment, but trying to see the reason for this odd feeling, he turned around and looked towards the center of the room.


    When he turned around, he saw Axolotl standing there with shock visible through his mask. This was justified of course, Kagaku had just sensed an elite anbu without them wanting him to.


    Even though Axolotl didn''t specifically try to conceal himself, it was muscle memory for him and any ninja chunin or lower shouldn''t be able to sense him.


    Kagaku quickly analyzed the situation and acted startled, which wasn''t all that wrong actually so he managed to do so seamlessly.


    Axolotl quickly schooled his expression while thinking, ''He.... he''s a sensor!? No... surely not, he probably just randomly turned around.... Who am I kidding, that''s way too much of a coincidence. This kid.... never fails to surprise me.''


    Without any thought given to going to lunch, he asked, "Kagaku, why did you turn around?"


    Using the leverage Kagaku gained by his immediate shocked expression, he responded, "Oh! You''ve arrived Axolotl sensei! According to your given time, I assumed you would arrive a couple minutes early to reach by 12 so I was just about to go sit on my bed and wait for you, and coincidentally, you were there!"


    Kagaku thought, ''While I''m not the best actor... he should buy it considering it would be absurd if I was a sensor too... although that is a shock to me as well, sensing isn''t too complicated if thought about it from a scientific view. But, then again.... I shouldn''t underestimate a ninja''s instincts, if he suspects something is off, he will likely become nosy and that would be non-conducive to my plans of hiding my true strength.''


    Axolotl was surprised, ''A coincidence? It''s possible but... why do I feel something is off? No... I''m probably just overthinking, after all, why would a toddler think or care about hiding his abilities, in fact, he should be eager to show his strength to gain recognition, especially since he is an orphan.''


    Axolotl replied, "I see... well, we should get going, we can''t be late to lunch." Glancing at the open window, he said, "Come here, and hug me."


    Kagaku recoiling for a moment, realized why and didn''t question it and went and hugged Axolotl.


    Axolotl confused, asked, "Aren''t you going to ask me why?"


    Kagaku looked up at Axolotl and shook his head in denial and said, "No, I think I know why."


    "Oh? Do you now? Tell me, why then?" Axolotl asked in amusement. Surely, this kid couldn''t know the answer, he didn''t even consider him coming across this in one of the books as things like body flicker are present in advanced books which he doesn''t have.


    Kagaku replied casually as if just talking about the weather, " Well, before you asked me to hug you, you briefly glanced at the window, which is open and since you''re an elite ninja, I assume you would know that technique that uses chakra to move at high speeds to get there quickly, to make sure that I don''t fall off or injure myself somehow, you asked me to hug you."


    Axolotl froze for a moment while thinking, ''What the hell!? He.... he figured it out, that too in such detail from such little information! This kid... just when I had my guard down too... well, can''t say I''m surprised... about being surprised. Never mind, bad joke.''


    Axolotl patted Kagaku''s head and said, "Good job Kagaku! You got it right! I''ll tell you what, I''ll give you a gift for your correct analysis."


    Kagaku was surprised, but showed a cute expression and said, "A gift! Yayy!!" Acting much closer to his age.

    Then Kagaku pretended to try and haphazardly calm down and become as serious as possible. He coughed once in fake embarrassment and said, "I... think we should get going sensei."


    Unaware of Kagaku''s treacherous thoughts, Axolotl thought, ''Aww so cute! Kids are truly adorable man, even if they are geniuses who make you feel incredibly stupid and jealous.... Well, more frightening in this kid''s case but still, he just makes you want to squeeze the life out of him. Even if tries to conceal it, he can''t completely hide his inner toddler after all, I''m gonna have so much fun teasing him!''


    Axolotl replied in agreement, "Yes, yes we should. Get ready!"


    Of course, he didn''t leave Kagaku''s safety just upto his strength, after all Kagaku''s just two and a half years old, his size is quite small and his strength isn''t at the required level. So, he picked Kagaku up in his arms and used chakra to make sure he was stuck to him.


    Despite Kagaku being prepared, he simply couldn''t have fathomed the nauseating feeling of pulling hundreds of Gs. And they reached their destination in the blink of an eye, after all, it wasn''t very far.


    ''This... is absurd! The stupendous acceleration and deceleration should''ve killed anyone! Wait.... Naruto characters are kinda built different though... even civilians can handle hundreds of Gs like just did and not to mention the deceleration would''ve turned normal humans into red paste.


    The highest Gs anyone has barely survived was 46 something Gs for about a second and they passed out immediately after.


    Well, considering that even civilians can survive such ludicrous force, it must be a passive effect of chakra. As even if civilians can''t use it, they still have chakra within them.''


    Axolotl didn''t seem surprised by Kagaku''s somewhat dazed expression although he misinterpreted it to be nausea from the acceleration and deceleration and put Kagaku down.


    Axolotl chuckled, looking at the state of Kagaku and said, "That''s how it is the first time kiddo, you''ll get used to it."

    Kagaku snapped out of his thoughts and asked in response, "Kiddo? Aren''t you supposed to be formal? I didn''t ask you before but, why do you act so formal sometimes and so casual other times?"


    Axolotl replied, "Well, to tell you the truth, I''m not really big on formalities and the only reason I was acting formal sometimes was because at those times, others who could''ve heard me were present. And of course, I wouldn''t want someone to snitch on me to the Hokage. It breaks protocol after all."


    Kagaku nodded and said, "I see.... so, when are we going to eat? Also, this isn''t my orphanage, where are we eating?"


    Axolotl responded, "Indeed, unfortunately, the higher ups have decided that from now on, you will be doing everything with the anbu and the root, I''ll explain what those are later alright? Just know that I too am a part of anbu.


    This is the mess, where all anbu can eat their meals at a highly discounted price. You don''t need to worry about the money though, all of your basic necessities and ninja equipment are fully paid by the village.


    Anyways, considering your age, most people will baby you so.... just bear with it. It''s a buffet style lunch, where you take what you want, all the food is specifically made for shinobi to provide all the necessary nutrients required for proper growth.


    Considering your special circumstances, a special meal is already prepared for you. Also.... don''t pay attention if... no, when other anbu call me and you... names ok?"


    Kagaku innocently said, "Names? Why should we not pay attention if they call us by our names? How else are they supposed to call us?"


    Meanwhile, Kagaku was smiling devilishly and thinking, ''Hehehe... so, they have call signs huh, they''re gonna regret that...''


    Axolotl responded in exasperation, "..... just forget about it alright? Just enjoy your meal for now and try to connect with them, they''re going to be your comrades in the future after all."


    [A/N: Suggest some funny call signs for Axolotl and Kagaku, best one wins. I suppose it might be hard as you aren''t really familiar with the characters yet but I think you guys can come up with something good regardless.]


    Kagaku nodded while saying, "Ok!"


    Then, Kagaku and Axolotl went inside to eat. And Kagaku once again started to ponder his situation while eating.


    ''Now that I think about it, most of the time I think about stuff for any significant amount of time, I do it while eating. Kinda reminds of someone...


    Anyways, that''s a bit off topic. It''s like they treat me like Minato, even better I would say. Minato is quite a mysterious character to a casual fan, but his character is quite clear to those who are die hard fans of Naruto know him quite well.


    Minato is basically the physical manifestation of protection. His entire character is based upon the fact that due to his talent, the entirety of Konoha placed their hopes on him and tried to get him into the battlefield as soon as possible.


    At just 12, he thwarted Kumo''s plans to capture Kushina by singlehandedly defeating 3 Jonin, by this time, he was considered the up and coming strongest shinobi of his time. And at 14, he was already one of the strongest powerhouses Konoha had and was fighting in the frontlines against two jinchurikis.


    Due to his nature, talent and the flawless indoctrination of Konoha from a young age, he was dedicated to Konoha as can be seen by his sacrifice. But despite this, he learned at the end of his life, that no matter how talented a person, they can only do so much by themselves.


    Well, a normal person that is, and I.... am not a normal person. While, I don''t like to toot my own horn, I have I would say above average intelligence and am a fully grown and matured adult who also knows about the entirety of the plot. Even if it''s not exact, for the most part it shouldn''t deviate much from what he knew.


    As for nearly everything in this accursed world, the answer.... is power! Power reigns supreme and if you have enough of it, you can control everything, there''s a realistic chance for you to become a God if you work enough in the right direction.


    Considering they''re investing in me so much, they likely expect me to be a second or better Minato. Well, that''s not exactly a problem for them, after all, I intend to become God, becoming just a high Kage level shinobi isn''t too much of a concern.


    I''m surely not going to let anyone die!.... is what I would like to say but people dying is something inevitable until I get that strong. But, I do have a solution for that.... remain as cold, emo and unlikable as possible so, I don''t get any friends. Therefore, even if they die I won''t feel bad.


    That''s what I would do if I could.... but that''s just not in my nature, I can pretend to be a a different personality than I am but, I just can''t act like that with people who actually care about me... so, the only option I have is to become strong as fast as I can.... or manipulate people who are strong enough or alternatively the vast majority of the populace though that would be harder.


    The future is hectic huh? Well, I still haven''t actually had a lot of time to think, I''ll do so during the rehab sessions I suppose. The down time has to be used to study about the world and construct a good scientific understanding of this world.


    I already have a pretty good head start because of my younger self being such a weeb and thinking about this a lot, not to mention I also used to listen to other people''s theories and ideas as well.


    Other than today, I should use the lunch time to develop social relationships, not only so that I don''t appear even more unusual then I already do, I also need to secure helpers who will be willing to teach me things.


    I also need to dial back a little bit on showing my talent, the chakra awakening was an accident and shouldn''t be something that I do frequently, well that''s what I get for ignorantly thinking I know this world.


    I will need to work really hard, not just in training but also to figure out just how much to show to maintain good enough trump cards all the time. Not to mention, I need to figure out how the hell am I gonna hide my training from battle hardened ninjas....


    I suppose sensing techniques could work... no, too many problems with it, ninjas likely have counter strategies to prevent detection by it. I''ll need to invent something new which they have no knowledge about.


    Something like infrared vision could work... if I manage to figure it out quickly enough or, even senjutsu sensing or a modified version of it... in either case, I need to be done as soon as possible so I can start my secret training.


    I wonder how hard it is to even pass by undetected from ninjas and anbu? I mean a 12 year old boy who was just goofing around and oh yeah a freaking chakra nuke inside him, painted all of the Hokage faces in broad daylight at rush hour and got away with it, only getting caught when he was about finished.


    Though I think there might be more to this then meets the eye, after all, Iruka, just a high chunin could sense Naruto and you''re telling me that elite anbu who are supposed to be following Naruto 24/7 missed him? Not a chance.


    Now that I remember the scenes, I think catching Naruto might just be a fun punishment anbu veterans give to newbies like how they give newly minted genins the mission to catch Tora. Either way, still impressive on Naruto''s part.

    The voice was clearly distinguishable as feminine, it was however, ''a baby voice'' as they call it which made quite annoying to Kagaku. It asked, "Heeey there kiddo! What are you doing here eating with the big bad grown ninjas?"


    ''Huh, so never mind, this is definitely a bit..... annoying, but I can make it stop.... hopefully, with a bit of.... let''s just call it magic.

 Chapter 9: Ambitious Goals!

    [ An important thing:-


    In this chapter, I''m going to experiment a bit... like any good scientist should. Things like 1st person POVs, a bit more in depth with the emotions (I''ll try at least), more detailed description of how characters look, etc. Tell me if you guys like this style of writing better.


    Also, when I go back and rewrite the previous chapters, I''m gonna include more dialogue, reactions, etc that will hopefully make the story more immersive. It''s better to do that after I get more experience though. So, that''s gonna be after a while and when I''m free and have time. ]

    Kagaku''s POV


    I turn my head towards her and say with a straight face, in the most factual tone, "I displayed some talent that was considered ''unnatural and abnormal'' and Lord Hokage decided that it''s better if I get ninja training early on. So, I''ve been separated from others my age and have to sit and well, live here."


    "Oh? Is that so? Then you must be very exited to become a ninja as cool as me right, little fella?" She said in a baby voice


    ''God, I hate when they do that.''


    Remaining calm, I said, "Cool? You? You''re teasing a kid who''s not even 3 yet on his first day. I doubt that''s what people consider as cool. Besides, aren''t you trying too hard to fit in with the younger generation oba-chan?"


    A visible tick mark appeared on her face and I could see her friends laughing hysterically behind her. Not gonna lie, I had to try pretty hard to keep my face straight too.


    With a fist raised, she exclaimed on an angry voice, "You little brat! Who are you calling a grandma yo-!"


    Before she could continue, Axolotl was standing behind with a hand on her shoulder and I could just feel the ''sweet'' smile on his face as he said in a sing-song voice, "Whach ya doing there with my trainee... Rabbit? I hope you''re having fun~"


    The annoying anbu, Rabbit''s expression quickly changed from anger to terror with drops of sweat coming down her forehead. While she tried to hide it, it was very obvious. She slowly and mechanically turned her head halfway so that she could look at Axolotl with the corner of her eye and said nervously, "I - uh... was just .... getting to know my kohai you know? Yeah, that''s it!"


    Axolotl said ''sweetly'', "Is that so? Well I almost thought you were just about to hit my trainee, I must be getting rusty."


    "Y-yeah that happens sometimes haha...." Rabbit tried to play it off.


    Axolotl replied, "I see, then I think I must start training again shouldn''t I? How about you help your senpai out then?"


    "H-how should I help?"


    "Well, since you were the one to point out that I''m getting rusty, you should help me brush up! We''ll have a spar after lunch."


    "A s-s-spar? W-why? You shouldn''t spar right after lunch senpai, you''ll ruin your health!"


    "Oh, okay then, we can do it four hours from now, you''ll be all rested up by then won''t you?"


    At this point, everybody in the vicinity was either secretly giggling or chuckling openly.


    ''This is going just great! Man, being a kid is so good, relatively no responsibilities, everyone helps you out, you don''t even have to do anything!''


    Then, while mentally pouting I thought, ''Unfortunately, someone is going to interrupt my fun... bad anbu!''


    The reason for me thinking this was revealed when a voice came from the entrance of the mess. It was domineering and confident, it was as if it commanded respect and signaled the authority of the person it belonged to. Based on his slightly different uniform and everyon''s reaction to his entrance, he was likely an anbu captain.


    He said, "Quiet down now, Axolotl, Rabbit. This is lunch time and you''re in a mess, be mindful of your surroundings.... and as for the rest of you, quit snickering and get back to your lunch."


    Axolotl, Rabbit and everyone else straightened up and said in unison yelled, "Hai! Understood, Eagle-taichou!"


    Axolotl and Rabbit got back to their respective seats, and no one made a single sound.


    Wow, they''re terrified of this Eagle guy huh? That''s interesting. He must be pretty strong then. My suspicions seem to be correct, he is indeed a squad captain or maybe even a department captain, who knows. Although, he''s atleast at a higher rank than everybody here.


    ''Eagle'' wasn''t a burly man, he had a lean build, but I was sure he had a ton of compact muscles under his clothes which did well to conceal his physique, you cant be a captain and be weak after all.


    He wore the standard anbu gear except that on his utility belt, he not only had several types of bombs, but also some scrolls. I also couldn''t see any sign of anything long enough to be a katana or a chokuto but he had a strap for holding a weapon, a tanto? That would reinforce the Hatake idea.


    Unlike normal anbu who either wore no cloak or a black cloak depending on preference, situation, etc, he was wearing a dark green cloak which I had never seen anyone wearing in any situation.


    He had white hair, the biggest suspect to his potential Hatake heritage and black eyes. The rest of his body was completely concealed and I could only make out that he had somewhat pale, white skin but that was the norm so it doesn''t really help in identifying him.


    He then walked over to our table, looked at me and said, "So, you''re the kid they''re making such a bug fuss about huh? You don''t look anything impressive."


    I caught onto what he was upto, ''He''s trying to rile me up huh... Well, let''s see how this goes...''


    I said in a neutral tone without a hint of anger, "I agree, I''m not anything special.... currently. But, at least I''m not talking smack to a toddler who''s not even 3 yet as a grown man."


    Instantly, everyone froze, wide eyed, ''Yeah... I knew shouldn''t have done that...''


    Eagle was stunned for a moment but then suddenly started laughing boisterously, "Haahahahaha.... hoh kid, you''ve got guts I''ll give ya that much."


    He narrowed his eyes at me and I felt a sudden shift in the air and I felt a cold sensation throughout my whole body. A pressure I had never felt before, I thought, ''It''s significantly harder to move now! I suppose this is what they call killing intent, quite interesting.... and effective, evident by Orochimaru''s actions against Team 7 in the Forest of Death.''


    He continued, "I hope you can put your money where your mouth is, otherwise.... there''s hell waiting for you. And if you can, well, there will still be a whole world of pain waiting for you. You think you''re upto it kid?"


    " I- " I tried to say but got immediately cut off before I had a chance to respond.


    "Well, you better be, cause you have no choice in the matter!"


    I thought, ''Intimidation tactics huh? It doesn''t feel like he''s lying though I mean he is an elite ninja and all but still.... well, the path to success is almost never easy, I signed myself away to that lifestyle the moment I decided to do continue to live in this accursed world. I ain''t backing out now! I might not like this very much in the future but.... here goes!''


    I said in the same detached, cold tone, "I am, but, I can''t say the same for you. I''ll do things this world has never seen before! Even the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju will look like an academy student infront of me!"


    Everyone was too stunned to speak for a moment, Hashirama Senju!!? That''s the God of Shinobi you''re talking about! The one who suppressed the entire ninja world and bijuu singlehandedly! Making him look like an academy student?

    What an absurd notion! Something like that was impossible to even imagine for most, if not all people, and here, this kid, this toddler is saying that he will achieve such strength? Words like "crazy" and "laughable" don''t even begin to describe the words coming out of this boy''s mouth!


    ''Well.... atleast that''s what these low level NPCs think.... probably shouldn''t be calling them NPCs considering each one of them could kill with just a thought as of now but, they''ll pretty irrelevant in a few decades.


    Although, I probably still shouldn''t get that overconfident in myself until .... well, I suppose I shouldn''t underestimate anyone even after obtaining immense strength... I got into my overconfident and illogical chuniboo mode for a second there.''


    Finally, the first person who snapped out of their shock at what I had just said, started laughing, this was like a neutron being thrown into a mass of unstable atoms, it set of a chain reaction. And soon, everybody except a few who were too stunned to speak, started laughing.


    I didn''t care however, in fact, if they didn''t do so, I would be way more concerned. After all, they are just fools who don''t realize the height of Mount Tai!

    Suddenly, Eagle shouted, "Quiet!" And everyone immediately stopped laughing and the stunned ones also finally snapped out of it.


    He looked at me and said, "That''s quite the ambitious goal you got there kid, what''s your name?"


    "Kagaku... Kagaku Heishi." I responded.


    He nodded and said, "Well, I better see a shiver going down the spines of our enemies everytime they hear your name, in a couple of years, Kagaku Heishi. The 2nd Ninja World War is already upon us, it will likely start in a couple of years, and you''ll barely be 5 or 6 by then.


    So, I ask you again, Kagaku Heishi, can... no... will you do it?


    "Yes sir!" I instantly replied without an ounce of hesitation.


    He looked into my eyes, seeing not just determination, but confidence I have in myself to complete my objective.


    He smirked and said, "Well then, future ''God of Shinobi'', I hope you won''t disappoint."


    I matched his smirk and said, "We''ll see about that won''t we?"


    "I suppose we will." He replied.


    Then adressing everyone, he said, "Alright, the show''s over! You have five minutes before your lunch break is over and I better see you performing your given roles!"


    Hearing Eagle''s reminder, everyone returned to their meals, still baffled by the conversation that just took place. The entire time, I could just see Axolotl''s dumbfounded expression even through his mask.


    Just then, Eagle looked at Axolotl and asked in a normal voice, "Are you the trainer of Kagaku?"


    Axolotl straightened and replied, "Y-yes sir."


    Eagle looked at him with scrutinizing eyes for a few seconds, during which Axolotl stood nervously, and then he smiled as if satisfied with Axolotl and said, "Well, you heard your trainee right? He''s got some ambitious goals, so, you should know what to do right?"


    "Yes, sir! I will train him into the ground until he can''t do anything, then, I''ll heal him and make him do it all over again!"


    My eyes widened hearing this which caused Eagle to laugh and he said to me, "You need this and then some if you''re gonna accomplish your goal, kiddo. Hashirama Senju is regarded as the limit, the ceiling of how powerful a ninja can become. Most don''t even believe his power, disregarding it as fairy tails, but let me tell you, his power is very, very real and it''s not going to be easy to accomplish your goal."


    He smirked and asked, "Are you backing out now that you know what''s required of you?"


    "No sir! I''ll work so hard that nobody will even come close to my power, not even Hashirama Senju!" I replied resolutely.


    He smiled and said in an amused tone, "Well, I would certainly like to see that. Good luck, Kagaku."


    Then he just walked away. ''.... wait a second! He didn''t have lunch? Did he already eat and just came to see his subordinates? Or maybe captains just have a different place to eat or something. Yeah... that''s probably it.''


    Right after I thought that, I saw the retreating figure of Eagle suddenly stop after walking just a few steps out of the mess and slowly turn around and come back. ''Don''t tell me.... he forgot to eat his lunch didn''t he? Hehe, I''m going to enjoy this!''


    As he walked back in, I said in an oblivious and ''cute'' kid voice, "Did someone forget to have their lunch?~"


    He brought a hand up to his mouth and cleared his throat and said, "What are- what are you talking about kid? I didn''t uh... forget to have my lunch or anything I just came back to uh.... give you this, yeah!"


    While saying this, he took out a black scroll with the Kanji for ''Advanced Chakra Concepts'' written on it and placed it on the table, next to my food and said while clearly trying to cover up, "Make sure you learn everything in this scroll by tomorrow kid, I''ll test you on it."


    Kagaku thought, ''Hmm, this guy is quite similar to Kakashi... usually elite ninjas aren''t such bad actors nor do they behave in such an eccentric manner, is he related to Kakashi somehow? I mean, their features are quite similar, maybe he''s a Hatake clan member...


    That would make sense, after all, there''s about a 100% chance that this is an alternate version of the naruto universe, which means it should very well have things that are different compared to the original story.


    ''Did he give the scroll to me just to cover up his forgetfulness or did he actually want me to have this scroll from the start? Well, it doesn''t matter, after all, I do need the knowledge and if the title''s anything to go by, it''s more advanced than what Axolotl gave me.


    Man do I need to do a lot of stuff, I have to run a ton of experiments to make construct a sound theory of how this world works. I also need to train a lot, and the plan he described doesn''t sound good on it''s own, when you add to that the fact that I have to train secretly on my own as well... it''s just absurd and inhumane...


    .... these years are not gonna go by easy are they?....'' I couldn''t really do much other than let out a sigh of exasperation, thinking of the bumpy road ahead.


    ~~3 hours later~~


    3rd person POV:-


    Kagaku stretched and yawned. After coming back to his hospital room, he had gone through the rehabilitation exercises and theoretical classes and was now in his downtime.


    Kagaku thought, ''I wonder how I can even fool battle hardened ninjas to sneak out and train.... The only option is genjutsu. However, I can''t just use any regular old genjutsu, I need to use science for it! ..... that line''s getting cheesy isn''t it? Oh well, I''m a scientist, not a writer.... or an author.


    Well, let''s see here... I was never into biology nearly as much as I was into physics, but, I did study it quite a bit. The brain has specialized regions and nerves for processing and relaying information perceived by the senses respectively. That would mean I have two ways of going about this.....''

 Chapter 10: Training, Experiments and.... Timeskips!?

    [A/N: Sorry guys, I know I have been missing updates for like a month, I originally thought I should write after I explained some more stuff, but... I got stuck on explaining the time travel which happens in Boruto and then exams came up so... yeah. But, I''ve decided that I''ll write a little bit each day instead of writing in big chunks when I''m free so hopefully I should be able to get out chapters faster.


    Also... as this is the last chapter of the intro mini-arc, its a ''bit'' longer than usual. You''ll see the reason for the inverted commas soon.]

    Hmm.... that opens up some new avenues... it implies that the normal genjutsu used by ninjas controls the input information by altering the signal midway through it''s journey to the brain through the motor nerves. However, this makes it susceptible to detection.


    However, if instead, you control the brain of a person directly, there''s virtually no way to stop it. For example, the Kotomatsukami and Infinite Tsukiyomi. One alters how the brain behaves naturally while the other makes the brain believe that it''s in a reality which doesn''t even exist.


    This world mostly goes on using instincts, they don''t really look for much of a detailed explanation and I mean... why would they? They can spit freaking fireballs out of their mouths and run on water like Jesus.


    This was the case in my original world too, people usually just don''t care about the explanations as long as they can do something ''cool'', they might as well be monkeys, only caring about big explosions.


    Don''t get me wrong, there''s some joy in doing that too, but seriously, even those Naruto transmigration fanfic MCs who are essentially in the same situation as I am, don''t care about using science to understand the world, they think it''s useless.


    I saw a pretty good response to this behaviour on the internet once, it was written by some random guy called ''Zeta_00'', "Once you truly understand something, it''s a trivial matter to manipulate it to your will."


    Anyways, I trailed off there a bit. The point is, I only really need to understand the workings behind the world and different techniques. Plus I need to gather as much knowledge about the world as possible to know just how similar it is to the canon.


    I''ll of course need to train my body and instincts in that time as well. I have a lot to do... don''t I? Speaking of time....''


    Kagaku now looked over at the watch and saw that his self allotted downtime for thinking was already over and started to read the books he had been given before his theoretical lecture.


    And like so, a few days passed in reading books, theoretical classes and rehabilitation.

    Kagaku had now recovered fully and was ready to be tortur... trained yes, trained.


    In a few minutes, Axolotl would arrive to take him to train. Meanwhile, Kagaku could be seen sitting in a lotus position with a look of concentration on his chibi face.


    He had decided to try out sensory ninjutsu and come up with a decent theory for the basics of chakra, chakra natures, chakra signatures, etc. While he didn''t have much time to really prove his theories at the moment, as long as it works, there''s no need for a decisive proof immediately.


    He has just arrived into this unfamiliar world, and its all quite novel for him at the moment, he wanted to enjoy a little before going into the nitty-gritty stuff. Even someone as science oriented as Kagaku couldn''t resist the allure of a fantasy world fully.


    [A/N: I will post the said science focused chapters in a bit about this topic for now as its the basics. I''m thinking of naming it something like ''Kagaku''s Journal'' or something similar as a new volume. We''ll see I suppose.]


    Sensing had opened an entirely new world for Kagaku, it was like a ''6th Sense'' although some people consider the Sense of Heat and Sense of Gravity to be ''senses'' so in a way its actually like a ''8th Sense''.


    Anyways, the best way to explain it would be an analogy. Imagine that you replaced your normal vision with thermal vision, or simpler, wore a thermal lens. Its like you see the world completely differently.


    Nature chakra is in everything but, we don''t sense it, why? Because its everywhere. And if its everywhere and in everything, for the purposes of ''seeing'' it, it might as well be in nothing.


    Its like .... a dull light blue version of the world with bright spots indicating higher chakra concentration. And pretty soon, Kagaku barely ''saw'' a bright light in the form of a slightly contorted human being while leaving a trail of bright blue light in its wake rapidly approaching.


    It was quite difficult to follow, the ridiculous speed wasn''t something Kagaku was used to yet. He thought, ''So fast! Its entirely a different thing to know it and actually see it in action. If only I could see it a bit more clearly, I might be able to calculate the speed from the length contraction....


    No, the change would be way too miniscule, any machine''s error would probably be greater than then the Lorentz Factor anyway. There''s no way a standard jutsu used by even some chunins could make one travel at relativistic speeds.


    Oh, right! He''s already here by now.'' In fact, Kagaku''s sensing range was abnormally high so, he could sense pretty far, it was tough to make an estimate however, he''ll have to experiment to find out.


    Pretty soon, Axolotl walked into the hospital room and while waving his hand said, "Yo! How you been kid? I confirmed from the medics, you''re good to go now."


    "Yeah, I was getting bored sitting in here all day too, are we going to the base now?" Kagaku asked in return.


    "Yup, we''re heading there right after..." Axolotl replied with a teasing and amused tone at the end.


    "Don''t tell me.... the mess right?" Kagaku said in an exasperated voice.


    "Yup" Was all he got in return. He could almost smell the mirth in Axolotl''s demeaner.


    The mess was a source of embarrassment and annoyance for Kagaku, he would do everything in his power to not go there or not be noticed while there but, it never worked out in his favor. His future seniors just loved teasing their ''Kawai, Chibi Kohai'' which just made him want to burry his head into sand like an ostrich.


    ~~A bout of daily embarrassment later~~


    Kagaku and Axolotl could be seen walking out from the mess, the first ones too as Kagaku had insisted that instating him into his new home was very important and needed tending to as quick as possible when in reality, all the work was done by rookie anbu, this was their form of D - Rank missions.


    Kagaku said with a hint of irritation in his stoic voice, "Can we go to the base already? My stuff should have already arrived there."


    Axolotl sighed and said in a dejected voice, "Hah... you''re no fun Kagaku. Fine, we can go to the stupid base." After saying this, he reached out his hand for Kagaku, by this point, Kagaku was pretty familiar with the shunshin and no longer got disorientated after experiencing it.


    ~At ''ANBU Headquarters''~


    The ''headquarters'' of the anbu was a surprisingly ordinary looking building complex... at least from the outside. At first, Kagaku was confused to see that they had arrived in front of just some random buildings although he figured that there was more to it than met the eye and he was right.


    Axolotl took him to a random apartment and knocked while saying, "The Second Light and The Light in Darkness shall guide us in the future."


    Kagaku thought, ''Well isn''t that weird.... I mean what are they even talking about? The Light in Darkness? The Second Light? Guiding in the future? Is it just a wonky password or does it mean something? Oh well... I have a lot to do right now, I''ll think about it later when I have more time.''


    After a few seconds of delay, the room was opened but.... there was no one on the other side! Kagaku looked around in confusion to find out who had opened the door, only to find nothing.


    Seeing Kagaku''s confused state, Axolotl chuckled and said, "There''s no one there Kagaku. Its voice activated seals."


    Kagaku with a look of realization on his face, said, "Ah! I see. Seals are pretty useful huh?" while inwardly thinking, ''Ah... I see! Seals huh? Those are pretty versatile, I do need to run some experiments on how and why they work too...''


    "Of course they are! Why do you think the Uzumaki are so feared by the entire world? Fuinjutsu is extremely powerful and extremely complicated, not just anyone can learn it. In fact, most ninjas who try it end up barely escaping unharmed after the seal they were working on exploded in their face. But, as dangerous and complicated they are, they''re even more useful and valuable."


    Axolotl paused and continued, "Anyways, you''ll learn more about them if you have the aptitude for it. For now, we have to get to the base."


    Kagaku just nodded his head and they went inside the room.


    The room was a standard apartment with one bedroom and a small living room. The furniture was scarce and everything was quite dusty, as if no one had been in it for a long time. Axolotl just walked over to a flower pot and touched it. Kagaku could sense him putting chakra into the pot.


    Suddenly, he could hear a faint rumbling noise and right before his shocked eyes, a rectangular section of the wall just disappeared into the ground! A somewhat narrow hallway was now visible. While a bit narrow, it was still enough to fit four people side by side comfortably.


    Kagaku could see the smug, knowing grin on Axolotl''s face seeing this, Kagaku quickly schooled his expression, ''No way I''m letting you have the satisfaction of seeing me shocked you budget salamander!'' he thought.


    Axolotl finally spoke up, "You ready to go kid?"


    ".....Yeah" but, as Kagaku got closer to Axolotl to allow him to shunshin them both to the base, Axolotl stopped him.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.


    Seeing a confused Kagaku, Axolotl chuckled and said, "Your training starts now kid. We''re gonna run to the base."


    Kagaku''s face paled as he said, "R-running?" He gulped and continued, "H-how far is the base?"


    Seeing his trainee''s expression, Axolotl laughed and said, "Well... I brought you to one of the furthest away entrance points which is still in the village and was closest to us, so we''re about...." a sinister smile spread across his face as he said, "A hundred kilometers away."


    Kagaku laughed awkwardly waiting for Axolotl to say that he was just joking but.... Axolotl didn''t move a muscle and didn''t show a hint of deceit in his voice. ''He... he can''t be serious right? A hundred kilometers??? He''s crazy! A 3 year old can''t run that much!''


    Axolotl asked, "What are you doing just standing there? Come on, you got a lot of running to do!"


    Kagaku cursed this crazy anbu he had gotten as a teacher. His days were not gonna go as smoothly as he had hoped. He even started questioning his past choices, ''Why!? Why the hell did I think it was a good idea to reveal myself to these sadistic bastards?!''


    But, no matter how much Kagaku cursed Axolotl in his head, he still started running.


    Just a few minutes later, Kagaku could be seen barely holding himself up, sweat covered his entire body, he was so... so tired and yet not once did he consider stopping. He wasn''t even panting... to be clear, this absolutely wasn''t because he was ok. It was because half his mind was focused on not doing so. He knew, panting would make it that much harder.


    ''God dammit! Why the hell did I agree to this?'' ''Why am I still going?'' ''This is enough, I''ve already done what I could.'' ''I should stop'' These were the things running through Kagaku''s head and yet... he didn''t stop. He didn''t think about the monotonously spaced lights that kept going behind him.


    It wasn''t like the stories he had heard where the person didn''t even once think about quitting. In fact, it was the exact opposite. All he could think about was stopping and yet.... he never stopped.


    He wasn''t quite sure himself why he didn''t stop, it was all he wanted, all he could think about. But, his constant self loathing came to an abrupt halt as he realized that something had changed... he wasn''t moving forward anymore... no, rather he seemed to be moving down as well.


    He registered it too late, he was falling down. Truth be told, he was glad he fell, he would much rather fall down than keep going through that hell.


    However, the expected impact never came and only then did Kagaku remember that there was another living being present. He... had been caught by Axolotl.


    "Good. You performed better than expected... you even used chakra enhancement to keep on going. I wasn''t aware that you were capable of doing that... although it seems you were doing it subconsciously."


    ''Ch-chakra enhancement? I seem to have learned it already huh? Althou-'' No matter how much of a genius Kagaku was, he still had a body of a somewhat normal human. Willpower and chakra reinforcement could only make up for so much. Hence, thinking this, he blacked out.


    Axolotl didn''t seem to worried, as if he knew it was what was gonna happen or rather... it was what he was hoping would happen.


    He didn''t bother saying his thoughts out loud and just started using medical ninjutsu on Kagaku.


    Unfortunately for Kagaku, the only thing he heard when he woke up was, "Oh? You''re awake now. Good, now get to it, we don''t have all day. I want 10000 pushups. Now."


    Kagaku tried to protest as soon as he registered Axolotl''s words and said, "But I-"


    "And just for your information, we''re already inside the training ground of the base. You collapsed in the middle of the base." Axolotl cut Kagaku off.


    He continued, "Anyways, start now or it will take even longer to finish."


    By this point, Kagaku had realized that arguing was useless and simply started with the push ups. His body wasn''t quite in top shape but he felt much better and could be considered about 80% recovered already.


    This happened a few more times. Each time Kagaku was fooled into doing even more than he was asked to do at the beginning in his confused and exhausted state. Each time his chakra control and enhancement technique improved, each time he fainted and Axolotl healed him, each time he was given a new exercise which targeted a new group of muscles.


    At the end, when Axolotl finally said that they were done, Kagaku collapsed onto the ground and this time, not even medical jutsus would wake him up anytime soon.


    Even after he woke up a couple hours later, he wouldn''t catch a break as he had to go through a theory lecture almost immediately after he thought that the hell was finally over.


    Only then did he get a 30 min break... or so he thought because that''s when he was asked to perform chakra control exercises for 2 more hours.


    At the end, he was utterly exhausted and this time when he fainted, he didn''t wake up for several hours.


    When he finally woke up, he was in the grassy fields of the training ground but now, there was a table full of various weapons like kunai, shuriken, tanto, katana, etc. There were also a couple of human shaped targets at various distances from the table.


    A few sturdy looking targets could also be seen to the side, likely for close range practice.


    As he took this sight in, Kagaku realized that his tortu-training... wasn''t over yet.


    "Well well, so the sleeping beauty is finally awake huh? You sure slept like a baby." Axolotl''s amused voice rang out.


    Kagaku shouted in response, "That''s because I am one you psychotic nut job!"


    He now had dark lines over his head and said in ''sad'' tone, "Aww... sensei''s hurt his student doesn''t like him anymore...."


    "Quit your overacting and tell me what I have to do."


    Axolotl seemed to brighten up at that. He said in a jovial voice, "Well, now its time for weapon training! Exciting right? We''ll start with the shurikenjutsu first and then move onto kenjutsu.


    Of course, that''s just the general category and we''ll try out a bunch of different weapons to see which one suits you the best. Although, regardless, you would be advised to learn the tanto/ katana and kunai/ shuriken combat."


    "I see. Do we use chakra or not?"


    "Nope! You should get used to throwing it without chakra as most of the time they''re used to conserve chakra. Anyways, enough chit chat, lets get to it!"


    And from then on, until nightfall, Kagaku trained in various weapon techniques.


    In fact, there wasn''t much to it. Any time Kagaku started to get even slightly used to the training regiment, the difficulty was increased exponentially.


    Amidst the grueling agony that was training, he continued without stop, he kept developing his unique genjutsu and before he realized it.... a lot of time had past.


    ~~10 months later~~ Konoha Year 52, Kagaku Age: 3 Years and 4 months


    He had barely managed to develop his genjutsu in 10 months time. He had now become much taller than an average 3 year old would be, he was about the height of a 5 year old. That wasn''t all, his body had lost most of its baby fat at this point and condensed muscles could be seen on him.


    He had started to get used to the constant torture at this point, not to any specific difficulty, but to getting exhausted itself. He could now think clearly even when his body didn''t respond to his will.


    The completion of the long awaited genjutsu meant that now, he could finally get to performing his experiments to confirm the laws of physics he knew still applied in this world or not.


    This was, the most important step. After all, if you understood something, its trivial to manipulate it to your will. It was why he pushed so hard to get to this point, not only did he need to do this, he also enjoyed doing so.


    He of course, tested it on animals first and gradually worked himself up to a civilian toddler to a grown adult to a genin and eventually.... he managed to ensnare Axolotl as well. Naturally, he paid Axolotl back for all the torture the bastard had put him through and went on his way.


    He decided that the Forest of Death would be the best place to build his base. After all, the absurd amount of chakra and chakra enhanced beings would cover up his own chakra especially since he built the base underground.


    There wouldn''t be much surveillance either so it was basically the perfect spot as long as he himself stayed safe from the ecosystem of the forest which wasn''t much of a problem either thanks to the 10 months of hell he had went through.


    And so, Kagaku kept sneaking away from training by substituting with a shadow clone as soon as physical training ended as everything after, the clone could just return the benefits back to him.


    [A/N: Apparently a common myth, but, ''muscle'' memory isn''t actually stored in the muscles, its stored in the brain like every other memory. So the SC(Shadow clone) would would give him those back as well.]


    After a few weeks, Kagaku had built his underground base with all the equipment he needed which he ''borrowed'' from a few extremely kind individuals who donated to his cause.


    And thus, Kagaku began his journey to bring science to this world for real. These poor souls were unaware of the magnificence that is science.


    By this point in time, seeing the approaching war and Kagaku''s performance, Axolotl had already started teaching him jutsus a few months ago. The earth release definitely came in handy for making the base.


    And so... Kagaku immersed himself in his training and experiments. He had already planned out his course of action for the future, he just needed to act on it now.


    After all, the Second Shinobi ''World'' War was right around the corner.


    ~~8 months later~~ Konoha Year 52, Kagaku Age: 4 years. 9 December 52

    Kagaku could be seen thinking in his room in the anbu headquarters


    ''Its my birthday today, interestingly enough, they follow the christian calendar too, its just that instead of BC and AD they follow CWE (Clan Warring Era) and MVE (Modern Village Era) which began with and is thus synonymous with KY (Konoha Year) but the other villages like to disregard Konoha''s contribution to it much like some atheists tried to disregard the christian calendar''s religious origins in my previous world.


    Anyways, as usual, all my anbu senpais came together and threw me a party despite my protests. Last year, people had done the same but in the gifts, they mostly gave books or scrolls for various techniques but this time.....


    He had received a bunch of weapons. Rabbit, the annoying one had given him a chakra conducting katana while Eagle, the anbu captain had given him a (CC) chakra conducting chokuto. His sensei, Axolotl had given him a set of CC kunai and shuriken. While the others gave him some normal ninja equipment like smoke bombs, senbons, explosive tags, etc.


    At first glance, one might think that they were simply giving ninja equipment to him to allow him to practice better but Kagaku knew what it really meant.


    When Kagaku saw the gifts he froze for a moment. Being experienced ninjas, everyone immediately noticed it and Axolotl asked, "What happened Kagaku? Do you not like the gifts?"


    Kagaku''s happy expression disappeared and he replied in a neutral voice, "You don''t have to play dumb, sensei. I can see that... its finally time."


    Rabbit put an arm around Kagaku''s shoulder and said, "Oh come on kid, you were pretty excited to become an official anbu member weren''t you? Cheer up! This is the gift we all prepared for you!"


    Kagaku looked at her and said in a cold voice, "Don''t pretend like you don''t know the real reason for my selection. No matter how much of a genius the village may think me to be, there''s no way they would deploy a 4 year old to the battlefield. The war''s finally here huh?"


    The cheerful atmosphere of the room disappeared as every single person looked at Kagaku with a sorry expression and nodded their heads.


    Kagaku looked over to Eagle and said, "I understand that the situation is much worse than what was conveyed to me, captain."


    Eagle just looked down with gritted teeth and clenched fists and replied, "..... Yes..... I''m sorry but we can''t keep an asset like you away from the war any longer."


    After an uncomfortable silence, Kagaku spoke up, "I see. While I don''t particularly mind, I would like to know the whole scope of the situation."


    From the side, Axolotl said, "No... its your birthday today. You should enjoy it as much as you can... like a normal kid your age."


    Kagaku smiled self deprecatingly and said, "Since when have I been a normal kid? .... But you''re right. I should enjoy these moments which may never come again."


    Sometimes, the Kagaku''s maturity saddens the adults. ''A kid shouldn''t be thinking like that.'' is all they could think hearing Kagaku''s words.


    Rabbit was the first to snap out of it and said in jovial voice, "Anyways, lets get this party going!"


    Everybody knew it was just temporary distraction, they knew that from that day onwards, something that went against the entire principle of Konoha''s founding would begin... a 4 year old would be sent out on the battlefield of war.


    But... they didn''t quite care anymore. As Kagaku said, these moments may never come again. A ninja''s profession was death. No one could be certain what happened next, which mission they could end up dying on. So, it was best to distract yourself while you could.


    And so... Kagaku and his anbu companions enjoyed the rest of the day as much as they could and before they knew it, it was time to wrap things up.


    While they were putting everything away, Kagaku spoke up, "So... when am I supposed to join?"


    "..... tomorrow." was all he got in return.


    Kagaku responded in an aloof tone, "I see.... I''m assuming I''ll be in the logistics department at the start correct?"


    ".....no."


    Kagaku was taken aback, "Not logistics? Then what?"


    Eagle replied, "You''re in the Hogo squad."


    "Hogo? You mean... the protection squad?"


    "Correct."


    "Who am I supposed to be protecting?"


    "..... that.... I can''t disclose to you right now. You will be informed when your graduation ceremony takes place tomorrow."


    "I see."


    After this short conversation and a few goodbyes, everyone was off on their way. They had to get some good rest today. After all, tomorrow was a big day.

 Chapter 11: Guard of the Uzumaki!?

    Kagaku woke up in his anbu dormitory as usual. However, as soon as he woke up, he realized there was nothing usual about it. Today was the day of his inauguration, today, he would finally become an official member of the anbu.


    In the midst of thinking about the impending hurdles, Kagaku had forgotten for a moment how absurd of a thing he was about to do. He was going to break several records today. Becoming an anbu that too of the Hogo squad at his age wasn''t something that had even been imagined by anyone.


    Hogo was a squad which specialized in protecting important people of the village and internal security. Although the Hokage had his personal anbu for his needs and protection, Hogo still followed him around, mainly while he ventured outside.


    Clan leaders, geniuses, jinchuriki, etc. The Hogo squad protected everything and everyone important from the shadows. Hence, they didn''t just take anyone in.


    To be selected into the Hogo squad, you needed the approval of the Hokage and ANBU Commander, Dragon personally as well as the approval of the Captain of the squad, Lion.


    That wasn''t all either, to even be considered for the chance to be viewed by these powerful people, you had to have the recommendation of 5 lower ranked shinobi (influential anbu member or jounin) or one highly ranked shinobi (an anbu Captain or elite jounin).


    So, despite not showing it, Kagaku was quite shocked at this turn of events. He could understand that Eagle, Axolotl, Rabbit and the others probably vouched for him which is why he was even considered him despite his age but.... Hiruzen, Dragon and Lion all agreed to it as well!


    It was simply a ludicrous situation! The only plausible explanation Kagaku could think of was that they wanted him to remain safe as well. While Hogo was a very demanding and prestigious squad, its rookie members were considered to be the safest ninjas in the village.


    The rookies of Hogo learnt from extremely strong people and were tasked to protect extremely strong people as well, and hence, in the shinobi work force, there was virtually no safer place.


    That being said, what Kagaku was most curious about was his client. Who would he be assigned to guard? He certainly had someone in mind but he wasn''t quite sure if his plan to be assigned to them would even work out.


    While wondering that exact question, Kagaku got ready for his inauguration. he wore his favourite color of course, black. Kagaku was decked out in a black shirt and black cargo pants. He had a couple straps for his swords and some kunai pouches stuck to his thighs for quick drawing.


    [A/N: Imagine young anbu kakashi''s fit but with the modifications mentioned. I''ll put up the image in the paragraph comments if I find something that fits. Also, for the face, just see the cover of the book, its the closest to what I imagine that I could also come up with so, we''ll have to be with it for now.]


    He was currently carrying the chakra conducting Katana and Chokuto as well as some normal kunai, smoke bombs, etc given to him on his birthday yesterday.


    Kagaku had managed to develop his sensing technique to the point that he could keep it active 24/7 as long as he was conscious. He could now detect in a radius of 7 km (กึ 154 km^2 area) which was about the average distance a good sensory specialist could do.


    In fact it wasn''t quite hard to do, he just had to train it hard and long enough that it became a subconscious thing for his brain to keep up. If he had to guess, his brain probably considered it an involuntary function like breathing or blinking and handed it off to the Medulla Oblongata.


    Anyways, right now, Kagaku sensed a familiar chakra rushing towards his location.


    He spoke out loud, "And....3...2...1..." Just as he finished saying ''1'', Axolotl burst into the apartment.


    Axolotl shouted, "Hey! What are you doing kid!? You got 2 minutes before you''re going to be late to your inauguration! Do you want to ruin your reputation even before you join?! Forget your reputation, you''ll ruin mine too!"


    Kagaku looked over to the clock and said in a nonchalant tone, "Oh relax would you? I got 2 whole minutes!"


    Axolotl gritted his teeth and said, "You idiot! Do you not understand the significance of this?!"


    Kagaku groaned and finally stood up from his bed and said, "Fine! You buzzkill, I''m going! Its not like it''ll take me much time anyway."


    "What the hell do you mean? There''s only a single minute left! The base is like 150 km away! You can''t run that fast without-"


    "Exactly! Without deactivating the seals. But now.... I''m no longer a trainee so, I don''t have to keep them on. After all, missions can be dangerous, we can''t have me not going full strength from the start can we?"


    "But I told you tha-"


    "Lock up the place for me would you?" Before Axolotl could finish his sentence, Kagaku had already disappeared in a shunshin.


    Axolotl continued exasperatedly, "-that you can''t deactivate them before the inauguration... Man... I remember the days when the kid used to listen to every word I said." He let out a tired sigh and said, "hah..... those were the good old days.... just me tortu- I mean training the kid..."


    After sulking a little bit, Axolotl quickly locked up the apartment and shunshined to the base, going as fast as he could.


    ~At the ANBU Headquarters~ (The real one this time. Also, in an undisclosed section of the village.)


    Kagaku arrived just a couple seconds before his name was called. Considering the ongoing war, he wasn''t the only graduate at this time. Though he certainly was the only one going to the Hogo squad.


    Although, this could turn out to be a bit annoying considering he had just confirmed from a nearby anbu that the participants were given a short introduction by the announcer....


    The announcer, an anbu captain by the looks of it, said into a microphone, "Aaaall riiight everybody! Next, we have the upcoming star, the only one exception that has ever been made in the history of the anbu..... Kagaku Heishi!!! The kid is just 4 years old!!!"


    Kagaku stepped onto the stage and a round of applause was heard, much bigger than the previous contestants, although that was to be expected.


    The announcer continued, "Now, don''t go on underestimating him, after all, it takes some serious skill to get the Hokage to make an exception to the age rule especially since an exception to it hasn''t ever been made. Not to mention, he''s nowhere close to being 13!


    If you didn''t already get the memo, the kid''s no slouch. As the cherry on top, he even got into the Hogo squad! The kid''s broken several records when even clan ''geniuses'' his age are still playing with wooden kunai!"This book is hosted on another platform.     Kagaku smiled and bowed down while saying, "Thank you all, I''m really not all that special though, you don''t have to praise me so much."


    A few shouts were heard from the audience,


    "Don''t be so modest kid!"


    "Yeah, you deserve it!"


    "You go kid!"


    The cheers only got louder and Kagaku stood up straight and asked while scratching his head awkwardly, "Uh... so... where do I go now?"


    A brief moment of silence took place before the audience burst out with laughter while saying things like,


    "My god! The kid doesn''t even know!"


    "That''s a sense of humor right there!"


    "I... I can''t.... its just too funny!"


    The announcer just chuckled and said, "Don''t mind them alright? They''re not laughing at you, its just that staying in the anbu has.... lowered their sense of humor a bit and nothing really interesting happens usually-"


    A few anbu seemed to take offence at that,


    "Hey! I''ll let you know I have a perfectly good sense of humor alright?!"


    "Hey! What''s that supposed to mean?"


    *sniff* *sniff* "You''re so mean to us, captain."


    Kagaku sweat dropped at the antics of the most elite assassination group members antics and said, "I.... understand... so....?"


    The announcer remembered the question and responded, "Oh, right! I forgot for a second there. You just go straight down that hall and enter the room in the center, you will find the Hokage sama, Dragon sama and Lion sama all waiting for you in there."


    "Okay, thank you for having me." Saying this, Kagaku left with a short bow.


    Kagaku walked down the hall as he was told and saw another hallway perpendicular to the one he came from with doors intermittently placed along it. He ignored them for the time being though, and entered the door in the center.


    He knocked in a specific pattern for signaling, his rank ''anbu trainee''.


    A slightly muffled voice was heard from the door, "Come in, Kagaku Heishi."


    Kagaku entered the door and looked around. The room was quite spacious and looked a bit reminiscent of the room that was shown in the anime for the genin graduation exam, with darker colours instead of the light colours that were used in the anime.


    Kagaku was taken out of his musings by an unfamiliar deep voice, "So, you''re Kagaku Heishi, the so called ''never before seen genius'', huh? You don''t look like much to me."


    Kagaku looked over at Lion who had spoken and said in an emotionless voice, "I assure you sir, I''m more than capable enough to join your squad."


    An immense pressure could be felt in the room. The pressure evidently came off of Lion who seemed to be angered by those words, his eyes were glowing a menacingly bright shade of yellow, as if he would rip Kagaku to shreds where he stood. The table and floor seemed to crack a little at the power he was exuding.


    Although, Kagaku knew it was just an act, a test.


    But of course, the ''aura'' of an anbu captain wasn''t something to scoff at, even the anbu vice captains standing behind the three started to kneel from the pressure.


    However, Kagaku didn''t show any signs of being weighed down, it was as if nothing had happened. He thought, ''Oh? Impressive, they even have auras, I mean, its not like it was a foreign concept to ninjas to begin with, but since they relied on pure instincts and sheer power, you had to be pretty strong and experienced to be able to use it.


    Though, its not much more than a party trick the way they use it. Its massively inefficient and isn''t concentrated either, as seen by the poor furniture having to bear the consequences. Its nothing much really.


    They simply exude chakra out of their bodies. Yep, its that simple. After gaining the ability to use chakra, humans and animals, over the 2000 years they possessed it evolved a new condition to the flight or fight response. Now, instead of just sight, smell, etc, the human brain also innately considered massive amounts of chakra as a threat.


    This was also why tailed beasts were so feared and relentlessly attacked by humans, they had adapted to fear massive amounts of chakra and humans don''t take kindly to what they don''t understand and fear.


    Anyways, its pretty simple to deter this primitive technique of theirs, you just need to form a coating of chakra around yourself. This makes the subconscious neglect the outside chakra as its more focused on the chakra ''armor'' that we produce which effectively removes the stimuli that triggered fear.


    In no way does me being able to resist Lion''s aura mean I''m stronger than him or even those vice captains kneeling on the floor, this is just one of the many things I''ve figured out how to do over my 2 year stay in this world.''


    By the time Kagaku was finished with his internal monologue, the three high ranking members of Konoha had come to the realization of what was happening.


    Both Hiruzen and Dragon''s eyes were wide, they couldn''t fathom the absurd notion that Kagaku, a 4 year old could resist the pressure of Lion, who was one of the strongest people in the village.


    Naturally, the most shocked out of the three was Lion himself.


    The thoughts running through their heads were about the same, ''I-impossible this... this can''t be! If I hadn''t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn''t believe it. No.... even now that I''m seeing it for myself, I... still can''t believe this is happening.''


    Kagaku''s hair covered his face for a moment before he looked up with eyes glowing a bright blue hue and a blue outline over his body and said, "Did you not believe me when I said that I was capable, Captain Lion?"


    [A/N: Sorry for the interruption but, explanation of how glowing eyes work will be in the comments of this para.]


    A smirk played on his face as Kagaku spread his arms out wide and said, "As you can see, I can already even resist your aura. I believe that at least qualifies me for your squad, doesn''t it, captain?"


    Hiruzen was the first to recover due to his large experience and asked, "H-how is possible? I mean no offence my child but.... you shouldn''t be able to resist Lion''s pressure, in fact, I was just about to stop him forcefully as what he did should''ve knocked you unconscious."


    By this point in time, Lion had already released his aura due to the shock he felt.


    However, as soon as he did so, they were dumbfounded once again. They asked in unison, "W-what? Why is the floor around him not cracking? And why don''t we feel any burden?"


    Its to be noted that an aura that could resist Lion''s was on nearly if not at Kage level. Such an aura should have similar consequences as when Lion released his aura, and yet.... there were no signs of such a thing.


    Kagaku just smiled and said, "I see you''ve realized that my aura isn''t damaging the surroundings or putting a burden on you. Allow me to explain, what I do isn''t simply wasting chakra by haphazardly releasing it into the air, but I form a protective coat, or if you prefer, armor around myself with chakra.


    Let me assure you, I''m not anywhere close to as strong as Captain Lion is, but, with this technique, I can resist even his formidable aura as its quite an inefficient way to use an aura, no offence."


    They were flabbergasted, and Kagaku knew it too, which made it all the merrier. Although, eventually they were able to compose themselves.


    *ahem* "I see that you''re quite the catch, Kagaku Heishi. Seeing your performance, I''m willing to grant you a request as long as its reasonable and within my power." Lion proclaimed. The other two seemed a bit surprised at this but didn''t object.


    Kagaku replied, "You don''t have to be so formal, captain, you are, after all, my captain. And as you''re being so generous, I can''t deny your graciousness."


    After a slight pause to create suspense, he continued, "... I would like to be...stationed to protect the Uzumaki."


    "W-what did you just say?"


    "I said, I want you to appoint me to be a Guard of the Uzumaki."


    The only three other conscious people looked at each other with stunned expressions and Dragon finally spoke out, "Well.... its not to outlandish of a request, is it, Lion?"


    Lion replied. "It... isn''t but..." he looked towards Hiruzen and continued, "Is this really okay, Hokage sama?"


    "I suppose its not completely out of the realm of possibilities, but, may I ask why you want to do that, Kagaku?"


    After mulling over it for a second, Kagaku decided to be blunt about the reason and replied, "I want to learn seals from them.... and I think they''re pretty cool."


    The three of them sweat dropped and thought, ''H-He''s definitely blunt...''


    "I... see, is that all?"


    "Yep."


    "Okay, I approve of this stationing. In fact, you all will be surprised to know this but..... I had planned for you to go there from the start."


    "Huh?!" came the simultaneous response of everybody except Hiruzen.


    Hiruzen simply chuckled and said, "Haha.... its nice to see you shocked for the first time, Kagaku.


    Hearing this, Kagaku quickly schooled his expression, although a faint red blush of embarrassment could be seen on his face which just served to amuse the currently young Hokage even more.


    "Indeed, seeing as Minato Namikaze, your senpai and competitor is learning fuinjutsu from Kushina Uzumaki, I thought it only fair that you should as well. I also have a feeling... you''ll take to fuinjutsu like a fish to water."


    Kagaku spoke, "I see, than you for the praise, Hokage sama. I will try my best to cope up with your expectations of me. Although.... may I ask when I''m going to start?"


    "Well... no better time then the present right? Here, take your anbu uniform, a senior anbu will show you the way once you get dressed."

 Chapter 12: A Prophecy that cant be Forgotten!

    [A/N: Hey guys! So, I just made a P@treon. Though, there isn''t any extra content or paid memberships yet but once I have a bit of time to stock up on chapters, I''ll be able to get those up. The reason I made it now was to allow for a uniformly best experience as in some of the sites where I upload this fic, I find it difficult to or there simply isn''t any way to upload other media.

    As usual, Gamamaru, The Great Toad Sage, was sleeping leisurely on his chair. What was unusual though, was his expression, unnoticed by anyone, his face was contorted in confusion.


    In fact, he was currently in his dreams- no, that wasn''t the best way to describe it.... it was more accurate to say that he was seeing one of his visions of the future at the moment.


    Although.... it wasn''t quite like the usual visions. He didn''t purposefully make his prophecies to be riddles, that was just the best way he could describe it as his visions as they were quite vague to him as well.


    But, this time, they were quite clear. In fact, he almost thought he was there in person for a moment.


    ---Gamamaru''s Vision--- Konoha Year จ€จ€, Kagaku Age: จ€จ€.


    Many people were standing atop what looked to be the terrace of a building... no.... it was a giant wall. They all seemed to be ninjas from their outfits, but that wasn''t what Gamamaru''s attention was.


    Instead, the first thing he noticed about the people was the striking long red hair most of them had. They.... were Uzumaki.


    What truly stunned him to silence however, were two people in particular... Mito Uzumaki and... even more unbelievably... Ashina Uzumaki!


    Even with the Uzuamki''s absurd vitality, he shouldn''t be alive. Ashina Uzumaki was thought to have died of old age long ago at somewhere in his mid 160s. That was already quite unreasonable but, for him to be still alive meant he was probably in his 200s!


    While Mito wasn''t so astonishing compared to him, nearing the end of her 90s, she was still alive and this was supposed to be the future, so both should be older.


    What made even less sense, if that was even possible, was the fact that both of their hair... were red too. Both Mito and Ashina had long lost their vibrant red hair, fading into brown and white.


    Not to mention, there skin seemed to quite young as well, as if they were still in their primes.


    None of this made any sense to Gamamaru. However, after living for over 2000 years, he was quite experienced and quickly regained his composure.


    In an attempt to understand the situation, Gamamaru looked around and saw that everyone, including Ashina and Mito was looking in a particular direction, behind him.


    Gamamaru turned around and a figure stood out to him. A tall, lean figure stood at the edge of the wall. He had black hair and wore a full body black coat with black pants and black combat boots. He had two baldrics on either side of his waist with two swords sheathed within their respective scabbards.

    He couldn''t see the figure''s face as he was facing away from him. Though it seemed that he wouldn''t be able to see his face either way as he seemed to be wearing some sort of mask.


    He didn''t know who the person was, but one thing he knew. He was strong. Extremely strong.


    He seemed to be looking over the vast expanse of the ocean and land that should be visible from the massive wall they were standing on.


    Gamamaru looked ahead and his eyes widened again..... what he saw wasn''t a beautiful scenery filled with beautiful forests stretching a couple hundred meters before an unending sea that was supposed to be seen from somewhere that''s close to the Uzumaki Village, but instead....This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.


    He saw an army no.... it was much more than that.


    It was similar to the expression, ''Wherever you look, there''s water.'' Except.... instead of water, it was shinobi.


    Gamamaru couldn''t even guess how many ninja were marching towards their position. On looking around, it seemed he wasn''t the only one who was shocked either.


    "Report." The man in the coat commanded, his voice deep and unbothered.


    An Uzumaki closed his eyes for a second and said after reopening them, "M-More than a hundred thousand sir... I can''t sense further than that."


    A myriad of exasperated conversations started among some of the people gathered but strangely.... not one seemed to be scared.


    ''....Perhaps they will be able escape safely? After all, fighting more than a hundred thousand shinobi which would undoubtedly also be led by multiple S ranked shinobi was ludicrous and quite frankly, unfathomable.


    I wouldn''t even have thought of that option had it not been for their expressions.... they... didn''t have the faces that spoke of running away... no. Those are the faces of people who would die before they run away.''


    "I see... Ashina?" The man asked casually as if he wasn''t talking to a man stronger than even Hashirama and that too about an absurd situation like this.


    A voice I could easily identify to be his, Ashina spoke, "About a hundred and twenty thousand in total."


    "Composition."


    "By normal standards, there are about 1,800 Elite Jounin, 20,000 Jounin, 28,500 Special Jounin, 29,500 Elite Chunin and 40,200 Chunin."


    "Commanders."


    "The Darkness of Konoha, Danzo Shimura and Orochimaru of the Sanin for.... Konoha, although... it seems like Hiruzen and the others aren''t aware of this...."


    After a brief pause, Ashina continued, "Ah... I apologize. The rest of the factions are....


    The Third Raikage for Kumo.


    The Third Kazekage, Sasori of the Red Sand, Chio of the Thousand Poisons and Rasa of the Golden Sand for Suna.


    The Third Tsuchikage and The Imploding Doom, Daikuro for Iwa.


    The Third Mizukage, Kinro Kaguya the Mad Ninja and Kasumi Yuki of the Bloody Ice for Kiri.


    The leaders for the Minor Villages are not worth mentioning and the few Rouges that joined don''t have a leader."


    The man in the coat said once again, "I see."


    A white haired man who was standing to the side of the man in the coat said, "So, how many do you think you can wipe out with that attack of yours?"


    "....All of them." He replied nonchalantly.


    Everyone except the one who asked the question was startled, the same thing was going on in their heads, ''A-All of them!?!?! That''s... that''s absurd! He''s joking right?''


    "....Figures, though I do sense a ''but'' coming. What''s the problem?" The man asked, seemingly unbothered by the fact that the person beside him claimed to be able to kill a hundred and twenty thousand people in a single attack.


    He replied, "Indeed. Although I can eliminate them all at once, the aftermath of doing such a thing would cause significant harm to the land and structures, even with the barrier fuinjutsu.


    Ashina finally snapped out of it and said, "Y-You! I trusted you because Mito said you could handle it. But, you''re just overconfident! And for that matter, who are you anyway? You still haven''t told us who you are."


    "I am.... nobody."


    "What do yo-"


    He cut Ashina off, "Though I have a feeling I will gain a name after this...."


    Mito interjected, "Ashina... please don''t push his identity. He would like it to remain hidden." Looking over to the man wearing a coat, she continued, "But, you shouldn''t expect us to simply believe you either. Do you really think you can kill a hundred thousand ninja in a single attack?"


    "Well... we''ll just have to see."


    "Why can''t you just te-"


    "We''ll talk later..... It''s time." The man said, cutting off Mito.


    The white haired man spoke up again in a child like voice, "Ne~ Can you say the name please?"


    "No."


    "Come on, just this once! You don''t get a chance like this often after all!" The man said, continuing his childish behaviour.


    "No."


    "Pleeeease?" The white haired man said while seemingly trying to make a cute impression.


    The man in the coat sighed and said, ".... fine. I''ll say the name...."


    "In a cool way?" The white haired man pushed further.


    ".... in a ''cool'' way." He said in resignation.


    The white haired man jumped and cheered in joy and said while clapping, "Yay!!!"


    The man said in annoyance at the man shaped child, "Calm down."


    "....fine." He looked.... genuinely disappointed.... with imaginary dark lines over his head too.


    Ashina, like any sane person would in that situation, said, "Are you two serious?! Do you not realize the situation we''re in?"


    This seemed to do the trick and both of them stopped with their antics.


    Although, that may have something to do with the army of ninjas running across water, sprinting towards them.


    ''Nobody'' as Gamamaru decided to address him for now, turned back and said, "Watch." As he had thought, the man was wearing a mask.... a demonic mask with patterns on it.

    And then.... he did something that was widely considered impossible to do.... he... flew away....!!!


    Gamamaru couldn''t believe his eyes... no one could. This man who claimed to be able to kill a hundred thousand people with one attack.... just turned around and flew towards the massive army!


    After reaching about halfway from the wall and the massive army, which was coincidentally around where the coast line was, he stopped and just stood there..... on nothing but air! Gamamaru''s vision shifted along with the man''s flight.


    With chakra enhancing his voice, he asked in a voice loud enough for every single shinobi to hear, "Why do you come here?" As if that wasn''t obvious already.


    Everyone though shocked for a moment, quickly recovered as The Third Raikage said in an equally loud voice while releasing his aura, "We''ve come to destroy the Uzumaki! What''s it got to do with you?!"


    "Quite the impudent one... And as for destroy the Uzumaki..... I shall not allow that."


    Onoki started flying up into the air as well and said, "And who the hell are you to be able to ''allow'' us to do anything you snot nosed brat!?"


    "Who am I, you ask? I am..... nobody. Now, I''ll say this one more time.... go back and I will not kill all of you."


    A deafening roar of laughter was heard, along with various things like, "I-Is this guy for real!?!? Hahaha!!! Killing all of us alone! He''s gone insane!"


    The man slowly raised his hand up into the sky and released his aura. The laughter vanished into thin air and most of the army knelt down or passed out due to the aura of the man hovering in the air.


    With his eyes glowing a brilliant blue and chakra surrounding him, he said, "You leave me no choice then."


    His eyes'' glow slowly turned white and he slowly faded away into nothing. The pressure was gone and there was no trace of him left.


    The Kage quickly ordered, "Sensors! Immediately pinpoint his location!"


    After a few seconds, all of them replied, "W-we can''t sense him at all sir.... there''s no trace of him or his chakra.... its as if he never existed in the first place!"


    "Never existed? How is that even possible? Was it genjutsu? No, it coul-"


    Just as people were starting to become confused, a cold, domineering voice rang out throughout the land and ocean, "You have chosen to defy me despite numerous opportunities to turn back.... Now, let me give you poor souls what you desire .... Salvation!"


    "Serious Series: ......


    ....God''s Annihilating Wrath!!!"
