《Ember soul》 Chapter 1 The beginning *A large structure lies within a forest surrounded by homes, abandoned and destroyed. Inside the structure is a man walking in a dark hall with each foot step echoing through out the silence of the void, he enters a room where he is met with a orb. a glow resonates in front of him as he stands before a large sphere surrounded by glowing branches, he swipes his hand as the orb spins * Man: so, there is no way to avoid it¡­. *A sudden explosion occurs behind the man as a loud crash fills the room with dust and debris, a woman stands from the smoke coughing relentlessly as she sees the man stand before her* Man: are you alright? Woman: there is no defeating it master¡­. Man: I know Woman: you have to leave, the people''s lives will be in vein if you don¡¯t!! Man: child I will not abandon you Woman: you know what that thing is capable of, it can even kill you!! Man: my time¡­ has come *the man lays his hand the woman¡¯s face as her wounds heal and her clothing restored* Man: I will handle the rest *with the flick of his hand a crack made from light appears from thin air as it opens behind him and opens to a open field* Man: enter through there Woman: why? And where are you going?! Man: my purpose was to save the lives of those who suffered today but now and then forth will be up to future saviors of this land Woman: but master! Man: that portal will lead you to a place where you can find those hero¡¯s *A beast crashes into the castle, a growl is heard within the smoke as a blast of energy shoots out at the girls direction, before she had the chance to fight a hand grabs a hold of her and pulls her back to where the man pushes her through the portal taking care of the threat on his own* Man: listen kiruma! Just don¡¯t cause any more trouble for any of us its not everyday where we get to celebrate the victory our emperors got over the evil monster 7 years ago Boy: oh¡­well then, I¡¯m just going to have fun too!! *Elsewhere in a cave a large, monster tiger sniffs the air and turns his attention to the town, while some villagers are talking the tiger crashes through and roars* Man: oh no! it is a monster!! Man 2: someone call a monster hunter!! *The tiger begins to attack the town while a little girl tries to run but slips and falls to where it catches the beasts attention as it slowly walks towards the girl and looks at her with a hungry and vicious look. as the tiger attempts to take a bite a girl with a wooden sword arrives and saves the little girl from the jaws of the beast* Girl: are you alright? *The little girl nods her head as she hides behind her* Girl: alright run I have got it from here!p *the tiger dashes towards the girl, the beast swings at the girl with its sharp claws but the girl dodges and slashes at the monster to zero damage* Girl: (dammit!) *the tiger constantly attacks the girl but she keeps jumping back avoiding each attack, she lands as an aura surrounds her body, she takes a glance at the beast and lashes out a energy attack which cuts through the monsters eye* Girl: I did it! *the beast begins to transform, with sharper teeth and spikes protruding in its back as black marks grow more on is body to where it grew into a larger size, the girl is frighten gut holds her grown as the same aura appears* Girl: sword magic! Divine thrust!! *the girl thrust her wooden sword but suddenly it broke on contact, a piece of the sword falls on the ground as she nervously chuckles, the monster strike at the girl as she dodges by a hair, meanwhile in the other side of town the boy is having fun enjoying the treat of the festival as he hears and sees an explosion from a distance* Boy: see that¡¯s not me this time! But I¡¯ll go to check it out! *Meanwhile the girl runs through town avoiding the monsters attacks* Girl: if only I had my real sword!... *the monster swings at her, she gets hit by the attack and is thrown across several festival stands, she bleeds from her head as the monster runs at her, it leaps to attack as she spots a boy in the air* Boy: lightning¡­ *the boy creates lightning as it engulfs around his fist and launches the monster through multiple buildings* Boy: hammer!!! *the girl is in complete shock as she snaps back to reality and questions the boy* Girl: excuse me! Are you from the monster hunter association? Thank you I was hoping you¡¯d show up! *from the debris the boy speaks, slowly revealing himself* Boy: I thought I beaten you up last time? I guess monsters are dumb! Girl: please tell me your name? I want to thank you properly Boy: my name? *the dust settles revealing the boy as he smiles and introduces himself* Akumo: my name is akumo Ortiz! It¡¯s nice to meet you!! *the girl is surprised and views akumo with a look of familiarity* Girl: wait! You¡¯re- *a roar consumes there ears as they are shock to see the monster still standing as it emerges from the debris* Akumo: you¡¯re alive?! *The girl quickly picks up her broken sword with urgency and prepares to fight as akumo looks at her with a questionable look* Akumo: really? What are you going do with that?! *the monster slams its claws into the ground as several rows of slash attacks come towards them both, akumo quickly takes the girls hand and jump into a nearby alley as they dodged the attack* Akumo: you should leave this to me, you won¡¯t be able to do anything with that! Girl: huh?! I can fight just let me¡ª Akumo: its fine but you¡¯re just gonna get in my way so just sit and watch! We don¡¯t want you getting hurt now do we!? *The girl is visibly annoyed as the monster shoots out a powerful roar creating a shockwave heading towards akumo¡¯s directions* Akumo: its time for a rematch!! *Akumo shoots a lightning attack which counters the shockwave but destroys the nearby buildings surrounding them. Soon after akumo slides beneath the monster and shoots out a blast of lightning which sends the monster lifting itself off the ground as akumo follows up by jumping on its back and smirk* Akumo: calm down! *Akumo electrocutes the monster as it roars in pain* Girl: (amazing! He¡¯s able to keep up with a monster like that?) *akumo leaps off the monster and lands beside the girl* Akumo: that thing is different from before! Girl: you¡¯ve already fought this thing?! Akumo: oh yeah! I wondered into its cave when I was exploring and we fought and as strong as I am I won without any trouble, I sparred it cause it had kids Girl: that¡¯s actually nice of you¡­but not reporting it to the monster hunters is stupid! How could you not do that?! Akumo: monster hunters? Girl: you cant be serious¡­ *akumo shrugs his shoulders as the monster pounces on them, akumo slams its head with lightning as it shrugs it off and rams its head on akumo* Girl: he won¡¯t be able to win this alone¡­ *The girl creates her magic aura once more as she attempts to create a sword by her hands, meanwhile akumo struggles to keep the teeth of the monster from closing on him* Akumo: ha! *The mouth closing closer* Akumo: hey if you¡¯re going to do something do it now!! *The girl summons a sword and slashes the monster as it gashes blood from its neck, it roars in pain and stumbles* Akumo: woah! Girl: obviously! *they both dash at the monster and fight, the monster stumbles as the girl slices its leg as it falls, akumo leaps and ready¡¯s his fist* Akumo: lightning strike!! *a large explosion occurs, akumo lands* Akumo: and that¡¯s that! Go and deal with them! Boss: then go and bring me his head!! *the boss throws him out the window and into the direction of akumo, akumo spots the flying subordinate and catches him* Akumo: hey you alright?! *the subordinate groans as his throat is burnt with a hand shape, akumo looks up to see the boss staring down at him, akumo creates lightning and shoots it at the boss but was blocked by a growing wall of vines, the vines begins to grow around the entrance* Akumo: woah!! Great how am I going to get in now?! *large vines grow from the ground and slam at akumo, he destroys one and the other attempts to strike him but got destroyed by akumo¡¯s lightning attack, he lands by hayami* Akumo: what was that?! *akumo drops the subordinate and picks up hayami* Akumo: heavier than you look¡­ *akumo walks around the campus, he turns a corner and sees enemies patrolling* Akumo: I cant fight with this girl on me, I could just leave her here, nah it might ruin my chance to be a hero *akumo looks at a window and has an idea, he break into the window and enters a classroom* Voice: what was that?! Akumo: oh crap! *akumo grabs hayami and drags her inside, they enter a hallway* Akumo: where should I go now?! *akumo walks through the hall way as he drags hayami* Akumo: I should probably put her in a safe place *akumo looks through a door window and sees a classroom filled with hostages tied up* Akumo: hm? Man: don¡¯t play coy!! *a tall boy with yellow hair and glasses appears with wearing light chest plate and holding a sword* Isaac: I am Isaac Millar and as a knight you will fall heathen!! Akumo: a knight? With that armor? Isaac: be quiet!! Villains like you only have insults now tell me where you took the president!! Akumo: president?! Dude you¡¯re crazy Isaac: fine! If you won¡¯t talk then you will fall!! *Isaac dashes and swings his sword but with swift reaction akumo dodges. Isaac follows up with ramming akumo with his shield and pinning him to a wall as he points his sword at his throat* Isaac: I¡¯ll give you one last chance to tell me where she is!! *akumo spits his tongue out at isaac to mock him, which made isaac angry as he swings down his sword on akumo only hitting his shoulder. Akumo raises his eyebrow in confusion on why it¡¯s dull* Isaac: that didn¡¯t knock you down?! Akumo: is¡­is that sword dull? Isaac: once I take you out then that bastard gio and his elites are next!! Chapter 3 end Chapter 4 the white knight *Akumo¡¯s fight continues with isaac thrusting his sword at akumo as he dodges and jumps back. Isaac follows up by stabbing the ground and sending out a wave of magic towards akumo but he jumps over it and shoots a blast of lightning to which it hits, akumo then knees Isaac on the face follows up with a punch* Akumo: give up?! Isaac: never!! Holy magic: impulse!! *a shield made of magic impulses from Isaac pushing akumo off and sending him flying* Akumo: you¡¯re strong I¡¯ll give you that! Isaac: don¡¯t try to flatter me, with this attack you are finished!!! *Isaac swings his sword back as it glows white while akumo lands and engulfs his fist with lightning* Akumo: lightning!! * they both dash at each other but suddenly hayami appears in between them* Hayami: stop fighting you idiots!!! *hayami punches Isaac on the face and attempts to hit akumo as he dodged* Hayami: why did you dodge?!! Akumo: I wasn¡¯t about to let you hit me!! *Hayami tries to hit akumo but constantly fails, isaac rubs his head and surprised to see hayami* Isaac: president?! Ms. President!! Rosa: how about this!! *a vines curls up and whips itself at hayami, she tries slashing to stop the attack but in the same moment the sword was caught on the thick vein and was flown across the hallway as she crashes and falls on her knees. She groans and grass her sword but when grabbing her sword and looking up a sudden crash was heard behind her as a small cut appears on her cheek* Rosa: darn I missed *Rosa sitting on her makeshift throne made from plants and vines grows closer to hayami, even though she¡¯s battered she finds the strength to stand and run away to find a new plan* Hayami: I have to find somewhere to hide Rosa: running already?! You¡¯ve put up more of a fight the last time we fought!! *hayami quickly hides in a classroom and tends to her wounds* Hayami: (OK, if my theory is correct then she must have a limit on how far the vines can reach and as far as I know she has always had 5 large vines around her which would probably mean that 5 is her limit, but when I cut them it takes around 8 to 10 seconds to regenerate in which she pulls them back as the tower vines comes to attack me) I¡¯ve got a plan!
