 Chapter 1. The Strange Man…

    "Boring!"


    "How boring!" I murmured as Im walking to my first day of college.


    Oh my introduction. My name is Kim-.. Kim Mugen and I''m 19 year old! By my reaction, it sounded like I don''t like my name.. Well it''s somewhat like that.. My mother is Korean and my father is Japanese. Kim came from my mother which mean "gold" while Mugen came from my father which mean "Infinite" They often call me "The Golden Child with Infinite Potential" but I couldn''t live up to their expectations.


    I don''t really like my last name because I could never relate to it, so I often tell people to just call me Kim¡­ It''s not like I hate Mugen.. it''s just that.. it don''t fit me, I''m around 5''10 which my mother considers to be normal height but my father is over 6''0.


    My mother got beautiful blonde hair while my father just got black hair, I got all my appearance from my father. Black hair and brown eyes, even his fashion sense.. whoops I''m getting sidetracked.


    What used to be a fun and interesting place to explore as a kid is now boring and old.


    I walk passed by this boring liabary that haven''t change in decades, a park that refuses to change and a shop that have been closed down ever since I got here as a kid.


    Kim was sick of this boring life. My everyday routine was to wake up, get ready for school, study, sleep, and repeat!


    "Nothing interesting, just the same old stuff¡­ I wish something interesting were to happen!" Kim said.


    A mysterious dark figure started to appear in the dark alleyway just as Kim was getting closer to it, the mysterious figure appear abruptly.


    "Something interesting you say?" The mysterious figure said.


    The sudden question that was aimed toward Kim had startled him.


    The mysterious man started talking to Kim out of nowhere,


    "Sorry sir, but I have to go to colle-"


    The mysterious man interrupted what Kim was about to say.


    "Here kid, let me tell you an interesting story¡­."


    Before Kim could say anything or refuse to listen to the man story''s, the mysterious man started telling his story,


    [ There once was a man who found an empty blank book on the street¡­ he looked around for whoever the owner might be but to his shock, there was no one around him. The man believing nothing bad would happen, picks up the book to see what it''s about. Seeing as the cover of the book is empty, the man didn''t think much of it and decided to open up the book but once he had opened up the book to its first page¡­ the man simply disappeared. ]Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent.     The mysterious man then decided to stop for a while¡­ almost like he was building up to something,


    "uhh sir, I have to g-"


    There the mysterious Man yelled out "AND I SAW HIM DISAPPEAR IN FRONT OF MY VERY OWN EYES!!!"


    Because of the mysterious man''s sudden yelling, startled Kim, "Just what is this man talking about and is he crazy.? Kim thought.


    "Sorry sir but I have to go!"


    Kim after saying that sped up but until he got out of the mysterious man''s sight, he heard the man say¡­


    "Don''t go picking up any empty book now¡­"


    After hearing that, Kim looked over his shoulder to see the mysterious man, but the man was already long gone¡­. as if he was never there in the first place.


    Kim thought to himself, "What a weird interaction¡­"


    "Is it normal for people to tell strangers random stories?" Kim was confused by this interaction, trying to piece together what he just had witnessed.


    Kim didn''t realize it but he was very late for college, due to the realization of being late, Kim began to run.


    Kim didn''t believe that a stranger story''s would ever make him late even if he didn''t want to listen to it¡­


    "Why didn''t I just leave while that man was talking?" Kim questioned himself.


    The same question begins to repeat in his head over and over again.


    Kim while running to his first day of college sees an empty book lying on the ground.


    Kim ran past the empty book¡­


    A second later he begins to backstep to where the book is¡­


    "Strange, there seems to be an empty book here, no cover, nothing¡­"


    Kim thought to himself "¡ª that strange man story''s ¡­."


    "Could it be real?" Kim doubted himself .


    "No way right? Like why would it be?"


    "I should probably leave the book alone and go to school as I am super late by now¡­"


    Kim began to run in the direction of his school¡­ a second later he came back.


    "I just want to be curious huh?"


    "I mean like, a little peak won''t hurt¡­right?"


    Kim thought to himself, "A stranger story''s can''t be real¡­ like there''s no actual way right?" Kim while talking to himself asks that very question with a hesitating voice.


    Kim breathed in and out, he reach out his hand to grab the book but there he felt a strange presence looking at him¡­ he brush it off. When he picked up the book, he felt the strange presence growing stronger.


    Kim looked around, but there was no one around him, shocked by the sudden realization that he was the only one here in this area.


    Kim asks himself, "Am-am I going, crazy?!?"


    Kim reassures himself that he is not going crazy¡­


    "If only I haven''t listened to that stranger''s story" Kim said talking with himself.


    Kim let out a long sigh and said, "I''m only going to open up the book for a quick second and put it back to where I find it¡­"


    Kim stares at the book.


    Kim was hesitant but slowly gives himself enough confidence to open up the book¡­ sweat bead down to his chin.


    "¡­."


    Freezing half way before turning to the first page, Kim shouted out,


    "SCREW IT!"


    Opening the book to its first page.


    The first page¡­ seemed to be a Vast land, full of grass field, where the grass was long enough to be compare to a fence, where even breeze could be felt through the page¡­


    Kim is not imagining, the first page of the book is "MOVING?!?!?!" Kim while saying that word let out a voice crack.


    "I-i must be going mad¡­. like this isn''t normal right?"


    Before Kim could do anything else after opening  the book to its first page


    The book fell¡­. nobody was near the empty cover book.


    The empty book lies there, not an inch has moved from the spot where it was found¡­


    The mysterious figure stands over the empty cover book,


    "Must I say that¡­ it''s always those who believe life is boring always experiencing the most fulfilling moment imaginable before they even realize it¡­" he said with a grinned.


    The mysterious figure picked up the empty cover book and started walking away¡­


    Kim as he knows it¡­. transported into the book.


    He looked around, "This isn''t the road to school¡­" Kim thought.


    He panickedly began to look around while shouting out,


    "JUST WHERE AM I?!?!?!?!??"

 Chapter 2. Life in a new world

    "¡­"


    Kim is in awe by the scenery of the new world.


    The scenery shows Kim a grass field, where the breeze dances with the grass, Kim standing atop the grass hill, enjoying every moment of it.


    For a quick second, he forgot he was ever transported into the book¡­ a whole new world.


    "This views¡­. Is nice¡­." He said in a calm soft voice as he peered out to the horizon.


    As Kim''s skin bathed in the sunlight, the breeze felt like a fan on a hot day, where it was just cool enough for you to relax and sleep¡­


    Kim enjoys the nice breeze and peace he was in, forgetting about his situation.


    "¡­"


    "Wait what I''m doing?!"


    Kim snaps out of the beautiful scenery,


    "Ok, where am I?!?" Kim yelled out, startling the nearby birds as they were resting on the cozy grass.


    Kim asks himself the same question over and over again, he looks around to find any clue as to where he just might ended up in but sadly no luck in finding anything.


    "If only I haven''t picked up that book." Kim said as he circled in the same spot for a few minutes .


    Kim slaps himself to see if he is dreaming, but to his belief, it is all real¡­


    Kim without wasting any more time knew that he shouldn''t stay the in same spot.


    "I should probably try to find other people so I could ask them where I am." Kim talks to himself as he walks down the hill.


    He asks himself "Is this like the fantasy world I always dreamt of transporting into?"


    But did I get sucked into the book or was I transported? This is so weird¡­ In all of his reading of many novels, he had never seen anything like this before¡­


    Kim is a huge fan of reading novels, he would fantasize himself in the novel he was reading, he like to look at other people perspectives of what a fantasy world was for them. Kim himself never found anything interesting but when he read those types of novels¡­. it felt as if he was in the story, a whole different perspective he could never thought about.


    Where he can freely enjoy what others think what a fantasy world looks like, what the authors of that certain novel feel about fantasy world.


    Because of this, Kim doesn''t have many people to talk to, no one but himself can share his type of perspective of what a fantasy world is¡­.

    Until his face crashed into a tree, bringing himself back to his senses.


    "I think I need to rest for a bit."  he said all tiredly. Kim walk toward the big tree and began to sit down under the big tree, he sat there talking to himself "How long has I been walking for? Where was I going? How long will I be here until I find a way out?"


    So many questions flooded his mind, as more and more questions came to flood his mind, the more worried he became¡­


    "What am I doing?"


    This alone question stands out from the rest of the questions.


    As the question began to play around with Kim''s mind, Kim asked himself one more question¡­


    "Why did I pick up that book?"


    After that, Kim stared out of the horizon, he felt sleepy, the gently cozy breeze was what he needed, and the warm sunlight bathing grass warmed his body just enough to where he felt comfortable enough to sleep.


    There he sits under the big tree and begins to fall asleep, slowly closing his eyes. Kim fall into a deep slumber under the big tree, heis body rested on the stump of the tree.

    Kim slowly opens his eyes as he hears little bits of voices and words in which he doesn''t understand¡­


    "Ay@$&¡ê~%*>~&."


    The little people spokes, confusing Kim.


    Kim asks himself in his mind "Just what are these little guys and what are they saying?"


    The little people begin speaking to one another in their own language. A language which Kim thought sounded like a bunch of gibberish.


    "Ahd&;)&:enb?" One of the little people said,


    "gab&;$$:" replied from another.


    "Wait I need to think what would a main character do in this situation" Kim thought to himself "What would one of the novel''s characters I''d read do in this situation?"


    "I know one of the novels where the main character can''t speak or knows any language when he gets transported¡­ but later in the story."


    "He had met a god who gifted him the knowledge to understand every language in the new world" Kim''s stare blankly at the little people¡­


    "WHERE AM I GOING TO FIND A GOD TO GRANT ME THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND OTHER WORLD LANGUAGES?" Kim''s mind screams out loudly¡­


    "This isn''t just a novel where characters and god can just talk to each other! THIS IS THE REAL LIFE¡­ I think" Kim thought, which he followed up with a question,


    "Are there even gods in this world?" Kim ask himself.


    "Am I going crazy to the point where I don''t find this surprising?" Kim thought "These little people tied me up, both my legs and arms and here I am, worrying about the novels I was reading?"


    Surely Kim is losing his mind, he thought.


    "LET ME GO!!!"


    Kim shouted out to the little people, startling them.


    They scatter around, running in different directions until one of the little people grabs its weapon and faces it toward Kim.


    This frighten Kim and he stutter trying to explain himself but the little people heavily swung the back of their weapon onto Kim''s head, knocking him out cold.


    They then started to group up and resume carrying Kim''s body, they continued to walk in the direction they were going toward.


    Kim slowly opened his eyes with a massive pain of headache hitting him like little drops of rain falling on him,


    "Ughhhh¡­. my head hurts¡­. j- just where am I?" The headache linger for quite a bit, Kim look around.


    Kim saw the little people surrounding his body which was tied up to a log near a fire bond, he began to look around and see one other person in the same situation as him¡­


    The tied-up person looks at Kim, his eyes were bright yellow like the sun, his hair blacker than any shadow to ever exist, looking majestic even when being tied up, it look like he''s the same age as Kim, his height look like he is over 6 ft.. 6''1 to be exact, Kim was standing at the height of 5''10, so seeing as the man was a tad bit taller than him make him jealous. Kim just stared at the majestic man.


    The majestic person opens his mouth, trying to speak to him, but Kim has no idea what he is trying to say as he doesn''t understand the majestic man language.


    Kim signaled the majestic man with his eyes about the little people, which the man understood¡­


    Kim then sees the majestic man drawing some symbol on the ground.


    "It looks like a spell?" Kim thought.


    After the majestic man had drawn out the symbol, he pointed at Kim.


    A wave of lights flashes Kim and him only¡­.

 Chapter 3. Majestic Man

    "Ughhh¡­. What was that?"


    Kim looked at the majestic man,


    "What did you do?" Kim in shock forgot that he probably didn''t understand him, that is until the majestic man replied back,


    "You can finally understand me huh?"


    The man shocked Kim,


    "Huh w-what''s? What''s going on?"


    "I cast a spell on you, it makes you able to understand my language."


    "How did you know to do that? How did you know I couldn''t understand what you were saying?" Kim ask the man,


    "I mean by the way you are dressing, that''s not normal"


    "You also signal that you have no idea what I am saying."


    "????" Kim was more confused than ever,


    "I mean yea but how did you come up with that conclusi-"


    "Enough with the question, do you want to escape or not?"


    "No¡­. I just want to stay tied up for the rest of my whole life, of course, I want to escape!"


    Kim says in a cunning voice.


    The majestic man rolled his eyes to what Kim just say, he thought to himself why don''t I just leave this man by himself?


    The majestic man let out a long sigh,


    "But before we do anything else, why don''t we introduce ourselves?"


    "I don''t want to just call you a random name."


    Kim hesitated for a second but there''s no harm in introducing yourself, right?


    "Yea, you''re right"


    "I am Kim Mugen and I am 19 years old, I was recently going to my first class in college until I somehow got here¡­."


    "Kim M-Mugen?!?!" Kim don''t know why, but the man hold in his laugh after he heard his last name.


    The man was on the verge of laughing.


    "What a g-great name." the man said while trying to hold in his laugh.


    Kim felt as if he shouldn''t told this man his last name and that when they both escaped he would punch him just for laughing at his name,


    "Ok ok IT''S a good name¡­. in context¡­" Kim said in embarrassment, Kim don''t like his last name, it sound funny and it just don''t fit him,


    "Enough about me, what about you" Kim said.


    Kim says in embarrassment, once he finds out the majestic man''s name, he will poke fun at it.A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.


    The Majestic man caught a gist of what Kim was thinking of,


    "I''m good, I just wanted to know your name." he says with a huge grin on his face.


    "W-what?!? Why? no fair!!!"


    "I''m just joking with you."


    He says with a smirk,


    "I am Vas Allen, I am also 19 years old and unfortunately I do have some questions for you but I''m going to stop at that¡­"


    Kim saw that Vas Allen looked scared, almost as if he didn''t want to reveal anything about himself. Kim also thought to himself "Vas Allen?!?! That is such¡­. a COOL NAME!" Kim thought.


    "Why does this man get to both have a good face and name?" Kim thought out of jealousy.


    "Why hello Vas Allen¡­" He said in jealousy tone.


    "Why hello Kim¡­. Mugen¡­." poking fun at his last name.


    Kim was still embarrassed at what his parents chooses for his last name and to make it worse, Vas Allen the person he just meant was making fun of it.


    "Argh just call me Kim¡­ it''s better that way" Kim said annoyed at Vas Allen.


    "Ok Kim¡­" Vas Allen said with a smirk.


    "Ok-ok enough joking around, what your plan for escaping?"


    Vas Allen stayed quiet then proceeded to said,


    "I don''t have a plan¡­ I thought you did¡­"


    Kim was shocked, he let out this face of shame toward Vas Allen and replied back with,


    "What? Why were you acting all high and mighty when escaping came into play?"


    Vas Allen stay quiet.


    "And what even are these little guys?" Kim said finally acknowledging the little people.


    "You don''t know?" Vas Allen said,


    "They are known as gremblings, weak and annoying when they are alone but deadly when they are grouped up together."


    "And by the looks of it, we can''t do nothing as these guys are ruthless."


    "What do you mean by ruthless?"


    "These little gremblings have no mercy for any kind of life¡­ even to their kinds."


    "They will kill any living thing without any remorse¡­ also their speed is troublesome.."


    "Then why are we still alive?" Kim asked Vas Allen.


    Vas Allen replied back with "Do you want us to be dead?"


    "¡­ No." Kim said all quietly.


    Vas Allen seeing Kim worry face, said to him,


    "But we''re only alive because we are probably a sacrifice" Trying to calm him down and give him a bit of relief but it work the opposite.


    "S-sacrifice?" Kim shouted out.


    Luckily the little people was not near them anymore, they had gone somewhere in the huge tent.


    "They are mostly known for their worshipping to their God" replied Vas Allen.


    "Their God?"


    "Yeah, they have a God they worshipped."


    "Do you know what their God looks like?" Kim asked of Vas Allen but he dodged Kim''s question.


    "¡­. We are getting sidetracked, we should find a way to escape." Vas Allen bringing the topic of escaping back onto the plate.


    Kim was about to repeat the question but he knew that Vas Allen was right,


    "Can''t you just use different spells to escape?"


    "Just like the one you cast on me?" Kim asks.


    "I can''t¡­" Vas Allen said in shame tone.


    "Huh, why not?"


    "For me to cast a spell, a higher spell at that, I would need to make some requirements to cast them."


    "Then how did you even cast the first spell?"


    "Also you don''t have to cast higher level spells¡­."


    "Did they not teach you about magic spells in school?"


    Kim in his mind thought "No they didn''t teach me anything as I am not from this world!"


    "Uhhh I didn''t pay attention¡­." Kim said all jokingly. Vas Allen shrugged off Kim awkwardness and said,


    "Hmm alright¡­ I''m embarrassed to say this but¡­ I don''t know many basic magic spells¡­."


    "Basic spells?"


    The words caught Kim attention.


    Vas Allen didn''t say anything.


    "Why not just cast regular spell then?"


    "For me to cast any of the spells I know, I would need to use both my hands, while basic spells only require me one hand to cast."


    "Anything spell that''s above basic requires two hands to cast, as well as they need requirements to successfully cast it."


    "So there are no other spell you can use?"


    "Mhm."


    Kim stares at Vas Allen.


    "¡­."


    "We are screw¡­. aren''t we?"


    "No wait, luckily while we were talking, I thought up a way to escape."


    "Really..? What do we need to do?!"


    "So what we first do is to-"


    A large horn sound echoes throughout the whole forest.


    The gremblings started their rituals, there both Kim and Vas Allen saw an elder grembling walking out on stage.


    There the Elder Grembling says¡­


    "Here we will start the ceremony!"


    Shocking both Kim and Vas Allen.


    Kim looked at Vas Allen "Why didn''t you tell me, that they understand us?" Kim said.


    "T-they can''t¡­."


    Kim can see the fear growing on Vas Allen''s face,


    "Huh? What did you just say?"

 Chapter 4. The Plan

    "What do you mean they shouldn''t be able to speak?"


    "Gremblings are vicious creatures which are smart in combat but have no general intelligence to be able to speak¡­"


    "They are only smart in trapping and killing, a literal brute of a creature who is not smart enough to create a civilization society among their self" Vas said to Kim


    Kim after hearing this, is awe in confusing,


    "Then how is THAT one able to speak?!"


    "I-I don''t know¡­."


    They both stay silent until Vas Allen breaks it,


    "We need to escape and fast, this could mean trouble for us."


    "How are we going to escape, tell me!!"


    "Here is the plan I have thought of escaping."


    ¡ª¡ª-


    "Hello fella brotheren!" Shouted the Elder Gremblings,


    "Here we captured two sacrifice to offer to our God."


    All the gremblings cheered out of celebration.


    "Start the RITUAL!!" The Elder Grembling yelled out. Getting straight into it.


    "Paint up their faces and after that, we will start to kill them¡­"


    The gremblings started moving as they scattered to prepare for the ceremony.


    ¡ª¡ª-


    "I AM NOT doing that!"


    "That''s far too dangerous for me and you" Kim said in a concerned voice.


    "Do you want to escape or not?"


    "This is our only chance at this."


    "Why can''t you do it instead?"


    "It won''t work unless you do it, you must distract them long enough for me to prepare."


    "That doesn''t explain why you can''t do it instead of me."


    "What happened after you escaped? Do you plan to outrun them?"


    Kim didn''t say anything, he just looked at Vas Allen.


    "We have to face them head-on, we can''t outrun them without defending ourselves."


    Kim sighs¡­. knowing that Vas Allen is right,


    "Well how am I supposed to distract them? I''m tied up here!"


    "We must find a way to steal their weapon¡­. by chance are you good with footwork?"

    "This is no laughing matter."


    "It''s not supposed to be funny, do you or do you not?"


    "What does that even mean?"


    "Imma just take that as a no"


    Kim just stares at Vas Allen, he didn''t say anything.


    "¡­."


    "Remember this is our only chance to escape, once they find out what we''re doing, they will adapt to it"


    "Well how are we going to steal their weapon?"


    "Leave that to me, for now, we must wait¡­."


    The Elder Grembling yelled out,


    "We are ready to start the ceremony"


    The gremblings stand upright, forming a path for the Elder Grembling to walk past it.


    The Elder walks toward the two sacrifices, there he comes face to face with them.


    None of them say anything, Kim and Vas Allen both look at the Elder Grembling with sharp eyes, sharp enough to stab someone clean through,


    "Paint their faces, their fate has been sealed!"


    "Their fate was to die for our God!"


    All of the gremblings cheer out in excitement!!!


    Kim in his mind thought "This is now or never, as Vas Allen said. We only have one shot at this."


    "I must find a way to distract them all and place their focus on me¡­."


    Kim sighs knowing that he don''t want to do this but also knowing that he has no other choice.


    Kim took a deep breath¡­ breath out lightly and repeated it two more times before he yelled out.


    "HEY YALL STUPID LITTLE PEST!!!!" Kim yelled out, his voice echoing throughout the whole forest, scaring all the birds away.


    "YALL LITTLE BASTARD SO SHORT THAT YALL HAVE TO LOOK UP TO TIED YOUR SHOE!!!" All of the focus is now on Kim, the gremblings look at him in confusing.


    This even confused Vas Allen and the Elder Grembling. The Elder Grembling replied with "Foolish words" The Elder Grembling was dumbfounded by what Kim just sai.


    Due to Distractions from Kim, Vas Allen kicked over one of the grembling guards with both his feet tied up, as the weapon flung into the air and ready to fall, with immense precision, Vas Allen kicked the weapon to where Kim''s feet tied up, freely his ability to run.


    "NOW RUN!!!!"


    Vas Allen shouted out.


    Kim with a swift, got up and started running.


    Kim ran toward the open forests but before he knew it, he saw the gremblings in front of him, trapping him.


    "RUN TOWARD THAT DIRECTION!!!!!" yelled out Vas Allen.


    Kim followed Vas Allen''s direction, he ran, and ran, and ran but no matter how fast or how long he run for, he couldn''t outrun those little gremblings, every chance he saw an opening, it would be swarming with them¡­.


    Almost as if they have super speed¡­


    Kim in his mind "damn there''s no escape opening¡­. Vas was right, these little bastards are way too fast."


    "KIM OVER HERE!!!"


    Kim heard Vas Allen and headed toward him.


    The Elder Grembling seeing this yelled out to his brethren, "Stop that foolish man from doing what they are planning to do!!!"


    "What are they trying to do? What are they planning?" Thought the Elder Grembling.


    "KIM WATCH OUT!!!!" Yelled out Vas Allen.


    Kim didn''t see it but a grembling with a sharp weapon leaped toward Kim.


    Kim barely dodged it but the gremblings managed to scar him on his cheek. But Kim continued to run toward Vas Allen.


    "YOU FOOLS!!! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!?!?" Shouted out the Elder Grembling in a mean and harsh voice,


    "If y''all fool can''t catch him, I will do it instead" say the Elder Grembling.


    The Elder Grembling started to write on the air as if he was casting something.


    Kim in his mind, "Like Vas Allen say, they shouldn''t be able to cast any spells, yet that one can."


    "Is this the only way for us to escape?" Thought Kim but already know what the answer was.


    "GET READY!!!!"


    Kim yelled out to Vas Allen, trusting his life in the hands of a man he just met.


    The Elder Grembling cast out some spell, an attack so devastating it could destroy the surrounding area.


    The attack was launched toward Kim and Vas Allen.


    "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Yelled out Kim, "VAS ALLEN!!!!!"


    The attack hit the surrounding area, and there was a large explosion, as the explosion faded smoke and smoke began to pile up one another.


    "You guys¡­ die by my hand but sadly not for our God, what a shame¡­."


    "Your fate wa-"


    As the Elder Grembling was about to say something.


    Large flame shot up from the grounds, preventing the gremblings of any chance of escaping.


    In every direction the gremblings looked, there was walls made out of fire, cornering them for good.


    "What going on? What kind of sorcery is this?


    "Such high-level spells, what''s going on?"


    The smoke faded out, the Elder Grembling saw both Kim and Vas Allen free of their bindings.


    "*cough* dammit *cough* that attack was way way more destructive than I thought *cough*"

 Chapter 5. Ablitz

    "What are you?" Vas Allen ask the Elder Grembling.


    "Whatever do you mean?" The elder replied back.


    "YOU know what I mean! You shouldn''t be able to speak!!!" Vas Allen look at him with intense stare.


    "Really, do you think so?" The Elder Grembling said in a cheeky voice.


    "I know so!" Vas Allen said in a quick response.

    "ARGHHHH! let me speak!!!!" The Elder Grembling then proceed to start casting out spell toward Vas Allen.

    Seeing this, the Elder Grembling started charging up his spell,


    The wall that was made out of fire surrounding the area began to extinguish.


    "Heh look like your firewall will be gone soon" said the Elder Grembling.


    The Gremblings ran at full speed trying to escape this area.


    "Encore¡­." Vas Allen said lightly. His tone was smooth yet very harsh toward the dumb gremblings.


    After the word came out of his mouth, the fire begin to burst up again.


    The Gremblings that were so close to escaping, perished in the fire.

    The fire became harsher and hotter, burning any gremblings that were near it, the fire encloses the surrounding area where there''s no guarantee of escaping.


    "YOU FOOL!!!! instead of trying to run away, use that speed of yours and attack them!" The Elder Grembling shouted at the cowardly gremblings.


    The Gremblings look at Vas Allen and Kim, they stared at them for a moment and started charging toward them.


    "Au&)&&@!!!" One of the Gremblings cried out but before they could do anything, they perished as soon as they got close to Vas Allen,

    The charge attack was lunge toward Vas Allen and Kim.


    "Vas, DO SOMETHING!!!!" Yelled out to Vas Allen but when Kim saw his unfazed face, he knew that Vas Allen had something in mind.

    The charge attack directly hit Vas Allen, "That must done it! The foolish man is finally gone!" The Elder Grembling celebrating their death.


    The after effect of the spell created a smog of smokes, the smokes linger across the air. The Elder Grembling continued to celebrate until he sees two shadowy figures in the smokes.


    Suddenly a huge gust of wind cleared away all of the smokes. "H-huh? What''s going on?" The Elder Grembling said in confusion.


    "You think that''s going to hit me?"


    Vas Allen ready up both of his hand, where he positions it so weirdly even a crazy man would think it''s crazy. Vas Allen with no time wasted asked the Elder Grembling a question,


    "Now tell me WHO¡­ no rather, WHAT are you? and how are you able to speak?" This scared the Elder Grembling.

    "I don''t know what you mean!" The Elder Grembling said to Vas Allen trying to buy some time to think up a way to escape from him. In failed desperation, the Elder Grembling casted out random spells, hoping for it to hit- no, even to scratch the foolish man.


    "You think, you rapidly casting out magic spells will hit me? You think it will be enough to stop me?!" Vas Allen said as he''s walking toward the Elder Grembling.


    The Elder Grembling walks backward with every step Vas Allen walks forward toward him.


    The Elder Grembling kept on desperately casting out random spells toward Vas Allen, every arsenal he could possibly think of.


    "I have destroyed all your plans, your ceremony, rituals, and groups¡­ now let me ask you one last time¡­" The Elder Grembling could hear Vas Allen words weighing down at him with fear.

    These simple questions sent shivers down the Elder Grembling spine, "I-I don''t know¡­. I was killing a family of 5 and all of a sudden, a beam of light came up to me and asked something of me" Vas Allen could see the Elder Grembling trembling at him in fear.     "The question¡­it was¡­was¡­ it''s was.. I-i-I don''t¡­ know?" Stuttering his words but he realized something "Huh? Why can''t I remember the question it had asked of me?" The Grembling had no time to think about it, he was only thinking of a way to survive¡­ to live another day..


    "Please spare me!" The Grembling cried out to Vas Allen but he just stares at the Grembling then look to Kim for a moment then right back toward the Grembling.


    "Apologize!" Vas Allen said.


    "Huh what?"


    "Apologize! Or do you not understand me?"


    "I-I''m so sorry, I-I promise I will never do these kinds of things to you ever again!" Begging for Vas Allen to spare his life.


    The Grembling thought he was freed but what he didn''t know was that his body was already on fire.


    "W-why? I did what you asked of me!"


    "Don''t apologize to me, apologize to the 5 families you have killed and to all of the victims whose lives you have stolen¡­!"


    "W-what! You can''t do this to me! I''m the chosen one! I get to do what I want to do! I need to LIVE¡­"


    "Even when death is walking toward you. You don''t even feel any remorse. When you die. Send someone to apologize to them in your place¡­." Vas Allen said to the Grembling .


    "YOU BASTARD!!!!¡­." The barking of the Grembling life burnt away in front of Kim and Vas Allen''s eye.


    "That was¡­ uh was interesting¡­" Kim said in a low tone, sadden by what just happened and what he had heard.


    "There, it''s finally over¡­." Vas Allen said looking down to the ground.


    Kim put his hand on his shoulder. Vas Allen stared at Kim with a sadden expression ,


    "Not yet¡­. Let''s pray to those that lost their life over to these guys¡­."

 Chapter 6. Mysterious Voice

    "I pray that they have a good time in the afterlife and that they are truly forever happy with each other" Kim peacefully guiding and wishing the dead souls to a nice afterlife.


    Vas Allen stayed quiet, Neither Kim nor Vas Allen say a word after that, Kim then looked at Vas Allen,


    "What are you going to do now?"


    Vas Allen sighs, "I''m going to go to a country and report this turn of events, what about you?"

    Kim and Vas Allen search for a possible way out of this forest, they head north, east, west, and then south.

    Kim saw something flick in the corner of his eye,

    "Cmon let''s head in, you go first" Vas Allen interrupt what Kim was about to say.

    "Since when were we frie-" sigh, "Nevermind I''ll go first."


    "Thank you, Prince Vas" he says in a giggling tone.

    Both Kim and Vas Allen enter the old humble home of someone in the middle of the forest.

    "Why do you want to leave this forest?" The mysterious voice said.


    "Because we''ve been lost for a while now and we want to go find a countries that could help us¡­"


    "Before I tell you anything, we must speak face to face and introduce ourselves, no?" The mysterious man then dispute out some wise word "It''s not nice to intrude in someone''s home and not introduce yourself" says the mysterious voice.


    "You''re right¡­ so my name is Ki-"


    "I am but a man of good wisdom, I have trained the soldiers of many countries¡­" interrupting Kim''s introduction.


    "I WILL SMACK YOU!!!!" Kim said angrily toward the mysterious voice.


    "Why that''s not nice, why don''t you say that in my face?" says the mysterious man.


    "Fine where are you?"


    "Look at the chair behind you, you should be able to find me there."


    Vas Allen sigh "This bit is so dumb¡­." Vas Allen was tired of the two bickering back and forth.


    "Turn the chair around and you''ll see what I look like" the mysterious voice said to Kim.


    Kim gulps, and hesitantly, he approaches the chair, he looks at Vas Allen and pleads for him to turn it instead but Vas Allen looks away, Kim curses Vas Allen in his mind and looks back at the chair.


    Kim breath in, he hold it in for a while and let it the air out.

    Kim turned the chair around, seeing what the person look like that was sitting on the chair.


    "Now that you have seen me, prepare to shiver!!!!" says the man sitting on the chair.


    Kim didn''t say anything¡­. All his fear had gone away, he didn''t feel threatened by the man,


    "GIVE ME BACK MY FEAR OLD MAN!!!!" Kim shouted out angrily .


    "Why that''s rude of you, I am in the prime years of 98 years old."


    "That''s way older than any prime year I have seen or heard of!!!" Kim said to the old man.


    Vas Allen is sick of this, he just wants to get out right now, he doesn''t even want to be near these two anymore.


    Kim and the Old Man bickered back and forth while Vas Allen just stood there, quietly watching the two argue over what the prime age is¡­


    "This is so dumb¡­." Vas Allen says in a low tired tone voice.

 Chapter 7. The Forest

    "*Ahem* Now''s that you two are done bickering¡­" he look toward the old man, "do you know a way out or not?"


    "Urgh¡ª I think I know." He said in a fragile voice.


    "Why are you speaking like that? Just speak to us like how you were just talking to me."


    Kim said to the old man.


    "You really going to say that to a fragile old man?"


    "Old man my ass, you were just arguing about how you were in the age of the prime."

    Both Kim and Old Man "Hpmh" To one another.

    Not a peek of noise was coming from them.

    "How come you didn''t notice it? As someone as smart as you, such basic problem would be easily noticeable."


    The Old Man asked of Vas Allen.


    "I think I did notice it¡­. but I was more focus on Kim rather tha-"


    Kim could be seen running from the south rather then the north, Kim gasping for air  "Yep, the old man speak the truth¡­. O wow was long."


    "Can you run toward the east now?"


    Vas Allen asked Kim.


    "What why? We already known that the old man is telling the truth!"


    "Just in case?"


    "Ugh¡­. Always me as the guinea pig!"


    Kim can be seen running toward the east side of the forest and out of sight.


    "As I was saying, I was more focus on the annoyance of Kim rather then finding a way out."


    The Old Man laughed and said,


    "You guys make a funny duo, I''ll tell you that"

    "Stupid Vas, always making me the guinea pig!"


    "Atleast this is more interesting than my last wor-"


    Kim froze, he see something ahead of him "a ancient building?" Thought Kim, there he sees someone at the top of building, waving at him, they both lock "eyes".


    "Wait that person don''t have a face, wait no¡ª that person is literally made out of beam of light!"


    Kim in shocked, he decided to blink but once he open his eye, he sees nothing but the forest in front of him¡­.


    "Huh was I imagining it or am I''m just going crazy?" Thought Kim.


    Kim continued to run in confusion in what he just see,

    "Oh no, I don''t like to bring the moods down so for now let''s wait in my house."


    "Aye Sir!"


    Vas Allen saw the sad look in both Kim and the Old Man.


    Vas Allen sigh, "Hey old man, do you have any interesting story to tell us while we thought of a way out?"

 Chapter 8. Illusion, Delusion (1)

    "And that was when one of my crew fall of the cliff, its was hilarious." chuckled the Old Man.


    "What a funny twist of events" Vas Allen said as he chuckled at the old man story''s.


    "For a old man, you sure have a different kind of funny story to tell."


    "But do you have any idea to counter the illusion?"


    The Old Man think for a while and said,


    "Hmmm there may be some way to counter it."


    "And what''s that?"


    "Well my illusion magic is at such a high level, where even if you casted out powerful spells, it won''t break."


    Vas Allen nodding along what the old man is telling him.


    "But what if there a way to mess up the flow of the illusion even for a second?"


    "Huh what does that mean." Kim overhearing their conversation asked in confusing.


    "Oh I think I get it!" Vas Allen says with a spark.


    "Huh what?" Kim still confused.


    "What the old man mean is that, instead of trying to escape the illusion, we have it surpass its own potential and disturb it flow."


    "So making the illusion stronger? I don''t see how that will help us in any way."


    "No just wait and see, stay here for a bit."


    Vas Allen then proceed to go to outside.


    "Uhhh¡­. Hey old man."


    "Hmmm?"


    "How do I learn these so called spells or magics?"


    The old man was thinking of something say, "¡­. I''ll be honest with you, I don''t like to speak about such thing but I''ll tell you the basic." The old man said in a reluctant voice.


    "Magics come from the origin of the Gods¡­. where they put their realm in this world and rule over it¡­."


    "Gods?" Kim said in a shocking voice.


    "For you to use magic, you would need to talk to the gods, there they would judge you if you can use magic or not, which from the looks of it, you can''t"

    "Once they judge you to able to use magic, they would strike a deal with you and let me give you a tip of advice, don''t ever accept any deal with them Gods¡­"


    "Why shouldn''t I make deal with them? And why can''t I use any magic?"


    "..You''ll get both of those questions answer one day¡­"


    A loud explosion can be heard near the old man house.


    "What was that?" Kim scared from the noise.

    "What would you do now?"


    "I-I have one more sleeve up my head but it may not be safe¡­." Vas Allen said as he look toward Kim direction .


    Kim already knowing what Vas Allen was thinking of, "No, no no! I may not know what''s going on but I know that looks of yours!"


    "Yeah, that''s what I thought." Vas Allen sighed while looking down at the ground.


    Kim look at Old Man then at Vas Allen, he asked Vas Allen,


    "Before we do your plan, is there not another plan you thought up of?"


    "We can leave it to lucks, just keep on going till we are out of the forest¡­."


    "That don''t sound too ba-"


    "it will take a couple of years¡­."


    Silent fill in the room.


    Kim sighed, in a scare tone "How dangerous are we talking?"


    "Well it depend on your reflex speed and how long you can run for."


    "How long I can run for?"


    "Yeah, can you run for 12 whole minutes?"


    "Like the jogging kind of running?"


    "Full sprint, max speed, and no stopping even for 0.01 second¡­"


    "That''s oddly specific, I don''t think I can¡­"


    I never been good at running, or at any physical sport¡­ but I am somewhat a good reader so¡­not sure how it will help here.

    Kim sighed, he look up at the ceiling not saying a word, he stares at it for while as he begin to think about Vas Allen plan, "I got to do it, right?" Thought Kim "If I don''t, we would be stuck here for a couple of years¡­"


    "Ugh¡­. fine¡­. I''ll do it" Kim said in a reluctant voice, Vas Allen could hear Kim words hesitating but he just smiled at Kim reassuring him that he would be fine.

    "But remember, pace yourself carefully, don''t trip onto anything, don''t even think about stopping or it could cost you your life¡­."


    Kim sighed, "A main character would never go along with this plan¡­ but sadly I''m not one of them" he thought.


    "Okay, cast your spells on me."

    Vas Allen stop casting spells and head to Kim collapse body, Vas Allen started healing his body with magic spells, Vas Allen then look at the Old Man, where he see the Old Man countlessly casting out basic level spell but was also charging up the high level spells.


    "Dammit, the disrupted flow of illusion is somewhere around 0.9 seconds, if I don''t do anything, it might go down!" Thought Vas Allen.


    Vas Allen started getting ready to stand up but yelled out the Old Man, "Don''t move! Continue to heal your friend¡­. when I say now, grab him and just head foward¡­. trust me"


    Vas Allen look in hesitate but nodded his head.

    Kim was baffled, why could he see Vas Allen face so clearly but yet can''t see all of the other faces? Then he look at the left chair near the empty throne¡­

 Chapter 10. Out of The Forest

    "Is that¡ª me?!"

Running back and forth while being linger with Vas mana, Kim abruptly sped up the process of changing the surroundings mana with Vas, due to the facts that once he filled up Vas mana in the inner layer, this speed up the process even more for Vas to change its outer layer¡­"

    Kim didn''t hear any of what Vas Allen was saying. There Kim opened his mouth and said, "Where am I?"

    "What are you talking about, we''re finally outside the forest!"

    That sudden yell startles Vas Allen.

 Chapter 11. The Road

    Kim and Vas Allen followed the road to the country of Andra for a couple of days.

    "How did you¡ª" Vas Allen shrugged it off and focus on his main point of why he had attacked the man. "Leave that kid alone!" He shouted.


    "Why should we? We bought the kid fair and square!"

    "We¡­?" Thought Vas Allen, he didn''t think anything more about it. The main question was. "How did you block my spell?"

    "Look like it''s our time to go¡ª and If I see y''all two again, I''ll make you regret it!" He chuckled while getting on the wagon.


    Vas Allen and Kim stared at the wagon going off in the distance.


    "Arghhh!" Vas Allen yelled out.

    "Woah¡ª the structures look so cool!"


    Kim shouted out in excitement.

    "Uhm.. Are you ok sir?" Kim heard a soft female voice called out to him. He looks at the girl. Kim stares up and down at the girl not in a creepy way, but in a way that admires one looks.

    Her blond hair, it''s wavy like the ocean waves, her eyes glow light green, she got that clumsy look, her clothes look so aesthetic, her face look so pure and cute and, and-.


    Kim slaps himself. Seeing this, the girl gives out a shocked reaction.

    "I am Filo Noa and I''m going to be a great inventor one day!"


    "Inventor huh..?"

    Kim let out one more sigh before he heard a huge explosion coming from the center direction of Andra.

    All the citizens ran away from the centers of Andra scared, some were crying, and some were calling out for their loved ones.

    Kim can feel the fear and cries of everyone around him. He stood there frozen as if his body wouldn''t listen to him. The citizens of Andra bump into him many times but he still can''t move.

His pant is the same color as the jacket he is wearing, his hair is also black.

 Chapter 14. Andra (3)

    The three of them ran, ran far away from the man, gasping for air but they continued to run not wanting to be seen by the man.


    "Who was that?" Filo Noa shouted, exhausted by running for a long time.


    "I-I don''t know." I told her, there was a fear of expression on my face, but I continued,


    "But what I do know is that he got this power where he can make it where you can''t control your body¡­"


    File Noa could hear Kim shaking voice, looking at him, his whole body was shaking.


    Kim''s heart was racing, just the thought of dying scared Kim but he¡­ he almost died today, he almost face death himself.

    Filo Noa while running have this looks of something not right.

    I stopped running after hearing that, Uma Micheal and Filo Noa also stopped.


    "Bunker? Wait but I need to find Vas"


    "Vas?" I could hear the confusion in her voice when I bring up Vas Allen.


    "Vas is the friend I was waiting for during that time. I have to find him!"


    "No..! It''s far too dangerous!" What used to be a soft sweet voice is now a worrying and concerned voice.

    "But we still have a chance for all of us to go the the bunker!" She pleaded to me but I shake my heads.

    Why am I trying so hard to save these two? I''m scared, I want to go to the bunker with them, I want to be safe yet... I feel like if I go with them¡­ they might die... I might lure the man to them and the people in the bunker.

    Kim could see scars all over the kid''s body, you could see his ribcage, barely any clothes protecting him from the cold and the abuse, the kid''s hair was all messed up and dirty, and his whole body was covered in dirt, bruised and blood¡­


    Kim mouth widen at this horrific sight¡­ I looked at the man with sharp stares, sharp enough to cut him in half.


    "Y-Y-you-.. ARE DISGUSTING!" Kim shouted to the man.


    "Huh?! Wait¡­ it''s you brat from the other day, and where is the other one?"


    "You don''t need to know that, leave that kid alone!" The man can hear a stern voice in Kim tone, which terrifies him for a moment.


    "WHY CAN''T YOU GUYS JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!" The man shouted out while charging at Kim with his metal whip, ready to lash him with it.


    The Man launches the whip toward Kim but Kim dodges the first attack but was then hit by the surprising kicks that come from the man.


    "Oof¡ª." Kim vomited blood, it splattered all over to the ground.

    The boy put Kim mess up body in the corner of the room, Filo Noa follow behind them offering if she can heal Kim body or not, but Kim pointed at the little boy and said, "Heal him first."


    Filo Noa shocked by what Kim said, she throughly looked up and down Kim body, it was covered in bruise and scars, fresh wounds spurted out creating warm blood which roll down his body.

Filo Noa let out a chuckle and reassured the boy that they are going to heal Kim soon, but first she told the boy that she need to stretch and rest a bit before healing another person.


    After a few minutes of resting. Filo Noa got up, all rested. The boy seeing this excitedly tug her in the direction of Kim.

    Uma Micheal not knowing what to do ran toward Kim and Filo Noa but it was too late, the spells have almost reached them¡­


    Dammit!! I didn''t know he could break Luc barriers¡­ Kim knowing that he can''t do anything but watch¡­ he just waited and accepted that he was going to die.

    "NOOOOO!!!!!" Vas Allen, Luc Mugen and Uma Micheal shouted out. They dropped to their knees, "¡­ They''re dead¡­"

He beginning to think that he should kill the boy and the ten noble family member which he think is Filo Noa¡­ He begin to have this dark expression on his face, "I just have to kill him and the girl¡­" he muttered under his breath.


    Before Vas Allen and the other can piece back their emotions. Ulyss Thym dashed toward the two, he ready up his weapon beginning to strikes at them, there he released his power, striking down at them before they could react¡­ but Filo Noa pushed Kim away from the strikes, there Kim heard what Filo Noa had just said to him before she got sliced in two..


    "Tell Uma Micheal¡­ I loved her¡­ and thank you¡­ Kim Mugen.." Hearing these words, Kim couldn''t do anything but break down. He looked at Ulyss Thym with hatred expression, he raised his arm up, hoping for the spell to shoot out of him.

    All Kim could do was wish Ulyss Thym a painful death.


    Ulyss Thym didn''t even try to put Kim under his power, he slowly walked toward him, ready to strike again¡­ but before he could act upon it, he stared up at the sky¡­ he stares at it for a moment and nodded while murmuring something to himself.


    He looked back at Kim with a amused expression and said to him, "Look like the fun is over, I sadly have to go¡­" he chuckled a bit before continuing, "Look like you didn''t just escaped death three time¡­ but four time¡­ next time I promise you¡­ I WILL KILL YOU!" He said with a grin on his face. Ulyss Thym waved goodbyes to Kim and his friends before vanishing into thin air.


    "COME BACK!!! COME BACK HERE NOW COWARD!!!" Kim yelled but it was no use, the man was already gone. All he could do was punch the ground, trying to get rid of all of his anger.


    Kim was kinda glad the man didn''t come back because he know that¡­ They would not be able to defeat him, he screamed out due to his anger toward the man¡­

 Chapter 24. Goodbyes…

    A couple of days has went by since the incident¡­ so many people have lost their loved one''s while there was some that was in critical condition.


    This incident somehow spread across the globe''s and people begins started to call this incident, [The Day Where Andra''s Bleed].


    The people had called it that, because Andra was known to the the most safest of them all, it have no enemies, nor any conflict with any other countries¡­


    It was just that¡­ that man wreak havoc on this country in hopes to kill one of the ten noble family members, in which he had unfortunately succeeded in.


    The aftermath of the incident has cause many rubbles and debris to pile up within the country.


    The people of Andra''s spent countless hours fixing and rebuilding the buildings that have been destroyed, due to the lack of man power, the people of Andra''s refused to rest while some of the people haven''t slept in days¡­


    There was a ceremony held for the one that lost their lives during this incident¡­ a monument was built to memorial those that have die in this tragic incident.


    Uma Micheal stand in front of Filo Noa grave¡­ she stares at it for a while, her stares was blank, she didn''t know why this was happening to her.

    "Who will be my family''s now? Will I have to live by myself alone?" Uma Micheal muttered under her breath looking away from her sister grave.


    Uma Micheal felt a hand placed on her right shoulder, she look over to see who it was and it was Kim.


    Kim overheard what Uma Micheal said and he told her, "We can be your family¡­" trying to comfort Uma Micheal but she shakes her head, with a sharp and angrly looked toward Kim, she said to him, "You''re the reason why she died¡­" Kim looked at her in guilt, taking the words of what Uma Micheal have just said to him deeply.


    Uma Micheal froze for a bit, there was no tears but Kim could hear that her voice was trembling, she continued, "If only you could''ve do something¡­" These harsh words was aimed toward Kim, who have an expression of guilt all platter onto his face.

    "But what if I lose you guys? What then?" She said in a low sad tone, Kim slowly stared at her. He give her a comfort hug and tell her that "Don''t worry.. I promise you that we won''t leave you¡­"


    Uma Micheal reluctantly by his words look at Kim and said "How would you know? I.. I might be bad luck¡­ everyone I consider family''s¡­ has died" Kim didn''t know what to say until Vas Allen and Luc Mugen came to them.


    Vas Allen told Uma Micheal that they are going to be fine "Uma Micheal, right?" She nodded her head at Vas Allen calling out her name, "I''m promise you¡­ I''m going to get stronger to protect all of you¡­ so that you will be safe!" Kim heard what Vas Allen said, agrees with him and reassured Uma Micheal that he will also get stronger.


    Uma Micheal feel a warm hand rubbing against her, she looked to see it was Luc Mugen. He held up her hand and promise her that.

    Kim and Vas Allen look at Luc Mugen with surprise, they couldn''t believe Luc Mugen said all of that but they smile and patted his head. Uma Micheal hearing this¡­ was somewhat relieved, she stares at Luc Mugen then toward Vas Allen then finally toward Kim and there she nodded¡­


    She could feel that her sad vibes was bringing down the moods so she started to be energetic. Uma Micheal has a great smile on her face, she looks as if she was starting to get better.


    Kim asked her if she want to visits Filo Noa grave one more time but she refused, "¡­I shouldn''t make her worry anymore¡­ I shouldn''t let my tears flood her afterlife while looking down at me¡­ I should smile for all the memories I''d made with her!" Kim let out a heartfelt smile while staring at her¡­ but deep down he know that¡­


    Kim and his grouped tried to rent a carriage but forgot that they have no money, they were devastated at first but the people of Andra''s gifted them a horse and a carriage for their traveling, a set of new clothes, some foods and water¡­


    At first they refused the gifts but the citizens strongly insisted that they should keep it.

    Before they prepare to go on the road. Kim asked Uma Micheal if she wanted to see her sister grave one more time¡­ but she shake her head and told them that she will be fine, "I have my sister looking at me from above!" she said with a smile, she then excused herself to the back of the carriage but deep down¡­ Kim knows that she was putting on a strong face¡­ because a second later after she gone to the back Vas Allen and Kim could hear her crying¡­ mourning her sister death¡­


    Luc Mugen tried to follow her but Kim stop him and tell him that she need some time alone with herself¡­


    Kim and Vas Allen looked at eachother, they sightly nodded at one another and prepare to leave the country of Andra. There, they stay quiet, not saying a word. Kim pray that Filo Noa would be looking down at Uma Micheal, not in a sad way but in a way she could comfort Uma Micheal by assuring her that she will always be there for her and will still look after her even when she''s gone¡­

 Chapter 25. Two Side

    The {white text} asked Mugen a question but he didn''t answer, so {it} begin to keep on bugging him until he give out an answer¡­ {it} annoys and annoys and annoy Mugen until he finally give in and give a answer to {it} question.


    "Yeah! So what of it?" Mugen said to the {white text} in annoyance, but that doesn''t matter. {it} doesn''t like Mugen anyway.


    "You know¡­ I can hear you right?" Of course he can hear {it} speaking. {It} was the {white text} after all¡­ but anyway {it} was getting sidetracked¡­


    "You know¡­ I don''t have to answer you!" But the {white text} shrugged it up and scoffed at his response.


    Why did you save Kim? I thought you didn''t like him?


    Mugen reluctant to answer but answer it anyways because he doesnt''t want the {white text} to talk to him anymore, he just want to get this done and over with. Mugen told the {white text} that he save Kim because he didn''t want Kim to die¡­

    A few days passes by while Kim and his friends were traveling on the roads. The atmosphere in the carriage was dim with sadness due to the sudden incident that had happen. Kim wanted to cheer everyone up by bring up what Ulyss Thym has said to them but when he uttered his name, they all look at him with intense stare.


    Kim realizing this apology, "Sorry I didn''t mean to said his name¡­ it was just that when he freed Uma and Luc, he had told them to run to us. He then refer to us as their parent¡­ I think that''s pretty funny¡­" Kim could be seen losing confidence with every words spoken trying to bring up his friends mood''s but it was going as planned.


    Vas Allen seeing this, engages with Kim "Sigh¡­ you know what Kim, I don''t know how to say this but you would make a not so good parents." Kim knowing that Vas Allen was striking a joke, replied back with his own.


    "I don''t know¡­ I think I would make a good father and you would made a good mother!" He said with a grin.


    "Wait! Why am I the mother? Shouldn''t I be the father?" Shocked at what Kim had said about him.


    "I mean¡­ you look more like a mother than a father!" Kim was bringing up Vas Allen majestic and feminine looks. Luc Mugen that was in the same carriage with them look at them bickering at one another. He then got their attention by pointing at Kim and saying "Father!" And then he pointed at Vas Allen and said to him "Mother!"


    Kim was holding in his chuckles while Vas Allen was baffled by this ,"I''ll had you know that I would be a good father," he continued "I know how to raise a child!" But Kim wasn''t fully listening to Vas Allen, he was too busy holding in his laugh and was also patting Luc Mugen for his response.


    Uma Micheal overheard the conversation and wanted to tune in, "You guys would both make bad parents!" Kim and Vas Allen were shocked. Uma Micheal who has been hiding herself in the back of the carriage so seeing her being fine was refreshing for the both of them.

    Kim and his crew set up camp on the open grassfield. Vas Allen pick up a bunch of rocks and order it in a circle. He try casting a light fire spell but it abrupt into a huge flame. Vas Allen shocked by this, casted wind magic to not burned away the surrounding area. After a while, the fire settled down to a slimmer state.


    Kim and the kids stared at Vas Allen who refuses to speak about it. He excused his action and act like nothing had happen.


    Vas Allen asked Kim to get the food at the back of the carriage.


    Uma Micheal scooted over to Luc Mugen and told him that she was going to show him the difference in parenting of Kim and Vas Allen. "Here, watch this!" She look toward Vas Allen and Kim "Hey Kim! Can we explore the forest for a while?"


    "No, it''s a little late for that¡­ why not play on the open grass field over there?" Kim said acting overprotective of the two.


    "Kim, let them explore the forest for a while, it''s pretty safe and quiet around here" Vas Allen said to Kim but he didn''t say anything for a second then look toward Luc Mugen and Uma Micheal "Yeah¡­no, why not play on the open field where we could see you guys?"


    I don''t want them to run into anything dangerous during the night¡­ also what if they get lost? I''m worry for their safety


    "Cmon Kim, let the kids explore the forest for a while while we finish setting up our camp!" Seeing Uma Micheal uplifted mood, he couldn''t say no to that. Uma Micheal drag Luc Mugen hand to the forests, "Thank you Vas!" She shouted out as she enter the forest with Luc Mugen.


    The last thing they heard before getting out of sight was from Kim. "FINE! But don''t get hurt and if you''re lost, shout out for us! If you guys don''t come out when we call out your name, we will look for yall!!" Uma Micheal shouted back at Kim reassuring him that they were going to be safe.


    Kim watches the kids anxiously as they went off to explore the forest. Vas Allen patted his shoulder and reassured him that they were going to be fine and that Uma Micheal is smart, cunning at that¡­ Kim hearing what Vas Allen say calms down a bit and help him in finishing setting up the camp.


    After they finish setting up, they sat down on the log that was acted like a bench. Kim asked Vas Allen where they were going.

    Kim confused by the name, asked Vas Allen what he meant, "You didn''t know? It''s a city way up in the sky inhabited by dragons!" Kim nodded his head, he didn''t hear the word dragons until thinking about it more for a second.


    "D-Dragons?!?!" I shouted out, bewildered for a second until I remembered that I''m in a whole new world, I may have gotten transported in a book but this is still a "Fantasy" world nevertheless.


    Vas Allen followed up with, "Well that''s what we''ve been calling it. We don''t really know much about it¡­ but all we do know is that they exist!"


    They don''t know much about it? Why do we even need to go there? Kim wanted to know from Vas Allen why they need to head there, "Well¡­ We got to tell the [Council of The Sky] about what we have been encountering¡­"


    I muttered, "The Seven Sin of Awakening" under my breath and Vas Allen nodded his head. I asked Vas how we going to find it if he don''t know much about it?


    "I was really hoping that you didn''t asked that¡­ but I don''t know.." Looking away from my stare, "What you mean you don''t know?" I asked him.


    "What I heard is that¡­ the fortress don''t exactly stayed in one spot¡­" I looked at him with confusion "They don''t stay at one spot?" Vas Allen nodded, he continued "What I mean is that, the fortress move in different locations¡­ which is why the human call it [The Fortress That Lies on The Clouds] indicating that it moved along with the clouds."


    Kim followed up with a question, "Why exactly do we need to tell the [Council of The Sky] about this?"


    "Because they probably know a answer to this¡­" I stared at him in awe, "Dragons are known as beings that live for a long time¡­ meaning they have answer to both the past and the future!"


    "Future?" That word has caught me off guard as I shouted that out. Vas Allen nodded "The future¡­ they know what to do in this situations, about the "Sins" and about the "Light beam."


    I had completely forgotten about the "Light beam" incident, I also wanted to know more about that and what happen during that time.


    Though is it possible that Vas Allen is exaggerating about the "Futures." The dragons seen.


    Kim could see that Vas Allen had a question for him so he bring it up "It look like you have a question for me also, why don''t you ask away?"


    Vas Allen was reluctant for a moment but said what he wanted to said, "Kim, during that time when the spells were heading toward you¡­ how did you not die by that?"


    I didn''t say anything, he continued, "A spells so strong¡­ it would even hurt a strong mages with layers of protection magic cast upon itself¡­ so how are you alive?"


    I knew this question would get brought up, I just don''t know when. I sighed and told Vas Allen that I don''t really know what had happen.


    "As the spells were coming headed towards me, it suddenly got sucked into my left arm.." I told Vas Allen that I had absorbed his magic spells but I don''t know anything about it.


    Vas Allen looked at me for a moment and asked me if I can shoot it back out? But I told him I have no idea. I also told him that I tried to do that during the "Sins" incident. I could hear him muttering something under his breath "Absorbing magic? I had never heard of such thing before¡­"


    I asked him if the dragons would know anything about this, he told me that it a possibility that they would know something about this strange power of mine. "Maybe we should test it out?" He jokely said but I turn it down, "I don''t want to risk it¡­ during that time, it was only probably because of the adrenaline that were rushing all inside of me."

    While Kim and Vas Allen was talking to one another, meanwhile inside the forest. Uma Micheal and Luc Mugen were running from something, they hid behind a tree and gasped for air. Uma Micheal look at Luc Mugen and said,


    "Just what was that?!?!"

 Chapter 26. I should’ve listen to Kim

    A few minutes ago when Luc Mugen and Uma Micheal enter the forest.


    *Krrrtkk¡­* The sticks snap into two every time Uma Micheal and Luc Mugen explore the area.


    "See I told you, they would make a bad parent!" Uma Micheal said while she''s was jumping onto a pile a leaves.


    Luc Mugen didn''t  know what she meant by that. He think that Vas Allen and Kim would make a good parents.


    "You fool¡­ did you not see what they just did? Kim was acting overprotective of us while Vas Allen was chill about it¡­ kinda thought it would be the other way around¡­"


    Luc Mugen couldn''t agree with her, he look at her with confusion. "Being overprotective of your child is bad?"


    Uma Micheal stop the leaves jumping for a moment looking at Luc Mugen. "I mean not necessarily¡­ I think I''d worded it wrong." She continued,


    "They won''t make bad parents¡­ more like I would be the bad child that would be annoyed by Kim overprotectiveiness while also creating too much problems with Vas Allen chill attitude¡­"


    "I don''t think that''s bad¡­ I mean there''s no such thing as a perfect parents or child''s. Being bad is normal sometime¡­" Luc Mugen said.


    Uma Micheal stare at Luc Mugen, trying to figure out where he''s going with this. "As a baby, I got left in the wilderness. At least, that what they told me¡­"


    Uma Micheal asked, "Who?"


    "The villiager that had find me¡­ they told me that my parents hid me in the bush while they lured something away from me¡­ They told me they didn''t make it and the last thing I saw was their faces¡­"


    Uma Micheal give out a sad expression, but Luc Mugen continued, "Sadly because of this¡­ I never told anyone about this but I can''t see people faces¡­ even yours."


    Uma Micheal look away from Luc Mugen, he couldn''t see her sad expression toward him. "I''m sorry." She said. Luc Mugen shake his head and assured her that she don''t need to.


    "That''s why I''m happy to be with Kim and Vas Allen¡­ they feel like a parent figure to me!" He said with a smile, Uma Micheal closely look at Luc Mugen. She never noticed any detail about him, how he got sharp white teeth, mean yet wholesome eyes and hair for horn.


    "How old are you?" Uma Micheal asked Luc Mugen. He told her that he don''t know but the other people him that he''s 11 year old. "By chance, do you know your birthday?" Uma Micheal already know what his answer was by judging his eyebrows rise, "What''s a birthday?" He ask.


    Uma Micheal didn''t know what to said to him, she didn''t know how to respond. "Ern¡­ it''s a day where people celebrate the day you were born!" Luc Mugen eyes lit up, a day where he was born?


    "That''s sound so cool!" But his smile didn''t last, "I''m sorry but I don''t when I was born¡­"


    Uma Micheal reassured him that he don''t need to keep on apologizing. It''s not his fault.


    "Oh Uma.. Micheal-." Uma Micheal interrupted him, "Just call me Uma!" Luc Mugen nodded, "When''s  your birthday and what your age?"


    Uma Micheal smile, "Well my birthday will be a secret for now but I can tell you my age¡­" Luc Mugen waited for her to tell him her age. "Well¡­ let''s just say, I''m older than you" she said with a smirk.


    "How much older?" Luc Mugen asked of her, "Heh, one whole year older than you!" This woah Luc Mugen. But before She could brag about her being older.


    *Krrrtkk¡­* They heard a stick snap into two, they realized that they weren''t alone. "What was that?" Uma Micheal whisper to Luc Mugen, He shrugged at Uma Micheal question.


    Uma Micheal don''t know if they should check it out or if they should run, Luc Mugen insisted that they should run away but Uma Micheal didn''t listen and ran to check it out.     They hid behind a bush, waiting to see what it was. A dark figure standing on all fours could be seen wandering the area. They couldn''t make out a gist of what it was until it got closer to them.


    Uma Micheal could tell what it was, "It was a "Unibear." Her eyes lit in excitement, she never seen it before because it was a mythical creature! She stare all happily toward Luc Mugen who don''t know what it was, he asked her and she told him what it was.


    "I can''t believe it!!! It''s a bear that''s look like a unicorn! They got horn on its head, hoof as paws, wings with fur, and a nasty sharp tail." Uma Micheal murmured but Luc Mugen have no idea what''s she talking about.


    "But¡­" Uma Micheal said stretching of her words, "¡­They do have a bad reputation¡­"


    Luc Mugen look at her bewildered, "What you mean bad reputation?"


    Uma Micheal let out a little chuckled, "Well it''s look cool but uh¡­ it kill those that''s know what it look like¡­ which is why it is a mythical creature that people don''t really know much about¡­"


    The unibear could felt their gaze looking at it. It slowly and sneaky snuck up on Luc Mugen and Uma Micheal, who was busy explaining what it was.


    Without a second to react, it lunges his body toward Uma Micheal and Luc Mugen. Luc Mugen barely was able to set up a barrier, protecting them from being squished.


    The mythical beast rapidly strikes it paws onto the barrier, it also delivers a powerful bite to the barrier, cracking it a little. Luc Mugen seeing this was scared, but Uma Micheal was quick in her feet, she grab Luc Mugen arm and ran.


    The mythical beast shoot out a laser beam out of it horn, shattering Luc Mugen barrier instantly. The Unibear chases after Uma Micheal and Luc Mugen.


    "Krrrtk!" Sticks could be heard snapping in two as the two of them run away from the mythical beast.


    They could only run for so long before the beast reach them. So Uma Micheal ran behind tree while Luc Mugen follow her.


    "Shoot! Shoot! What do we do?" Luc Mugen panicking, Uma Micheal told him to calm down and she thinks to her self for a moment, "We can''t outrun it¡­ it will catch us by flying. Our only options is to beat it¡­"


    Luc Mugen tugged on Uma Micheal arm, she looked at him "Why don''t we run to Kim and Vas Allen?" He suggested but Uma Micheal shake her head.


    "If we run to them¡­ We won''t ever see the light of days! Quite literally and metaphorically !"


    "What you mean?" Luc Mugen look at her in confusion. "I mean that Kim will be nagging at us for the rest of our lives, so no!" Before Luc Mugen could say anything else. The mythical beast shot out a laser beam almost hitting them.


    The rocks that got hit by the laser beam turned to charcoal, so they know what would happen if they get hit by it.


    "Run!!!" Uma Micheal shouted out. Luc Mugen and Uma Micheal barely succeeded in dodging the laser beam. "Pew." the laser noise could be heard from a distance.


    "Ok we  got a few minutes before it found us, we need to think up of a plan to beat it!" Luc Mugen shocked by Uma Micheal suggestion, "How are we going to do that?" He asked.


    Uma Micheal thinks for a second and something came to her mind. "Luc, could you by chance make your barriers sharp as a sword?" Uma Micheal was going to stab the heart of the beast¡­ if she could find it.


    "I don''t know¡­but I could try it." Luc Mugen told her and she nodded. She stood there to see if Luc Mugen could alter his barriers to be as sharp as a sword. Luc Mugen brings out his barrier and there he struggles to change its shape. *Roar!* The mythical beast could be heard charging at them from a distance, it send out a loud roar, loud enough to shake the entire human bodies.


    "Hurry up!" Uma Micheal trying to rush Luc Mugen, "I''m trying!" He said.


    "It''s harder to do then what it sound." Just as the mythical beast was charging in on them, Luc Mugen successfully was able to alter the shape. The barriers was no longer a protection magic but now an offensive magic , it was sharp like a sword, maybe even sharper.


    "What now?!" Luc Mugen shouted to Uma Micheal waiting for her next moves, "Aim it at the beast!!!" She shouted back, Luc Mugen nodded and send the sword toward the mythical beast but upon getting in contact with the beast. It''s rough skin shatter the barrier sword into thousands of pieces. "It''s too weak!" Luc Mugen shouted at Uma Micheal.


    Uma Micheal had a look of hesitation for a bit which then turn to confidence. "Luc! Could you make two more of those sword?" Luc Mugen tried to explain to her that it would make the sword even weaker but she doesn''t care, "Just do it!" All Luc Mugen could do was listen to her.


    Luc Mugen told Uma Micheal that he would need to some time to form it. Uma Micheal nodded and lured the mythical beast away from Luc Mugen. "Hey over here!" She shouted, getting the beast attention.


    The mythical beast launch toward her at full speed but Uma Micheal barely dodge it and casted out some spells, it wasn''t strong but it will be able to poke the beast a little she thought.


    The mythical beast strikes it paws toward Uma Micheal but with each strike, she dodges the strikes, missing her by an inch.


    Using her fire magics, she set the beast on fire but its rough skin just harden away the fire, exhausting it.


    The beast shoot out the laser beam, hitting only a string of Uma Micheal hair. "I got to cut that one off after this."


    Uma Micheal slide under the beast and attack it stomach with her spells but it only did minimal damage to it. "When will Luc be done with the sword?" She thought to herself.


    She heard Luc Mugen shouted out for her name, "Uma! I''m done. What do we do now?" Uma Micheal told him that he just have to wait there until she get to him.


    Now the only problem was how to get the beast aggro off of her. "Dammit¡­ I should''ve listen to Kim!" She sighed as she thought to herself.
