《Unwanted》 Prologue ** It was a hot scorching day and the best day for any high school student, the last day of school. Students were in the halls chatting about their activities for summer. ¡°I want to go the beach and start a bonfire!¡± ¡°I think our family is going to France.¡± ¡°Mine is going to Japan!¡± ¡®Pff rich kids.¡¯ Al walked the hall way and all the students retreated far from him. Every student in his school feared him. He was the King and no one can tell him what to do. ¡°It¡¯s good to be King.¡± Al decided to slack around at the park before going home. Since there was nothing at home Al often stays outside in the streets. Ever since the death of his parents, Al lived with his grandfather who is a master in Aikido. Living in a Dojo, he was forced to learn Aikido and went through the harshest training from a strict old man who he calls grandpa. Al walks carelessly to the park while his arms are out holding the back of his head. He then hears someone crying on the other side of the wall. Al climbs the wall to see who it was. ¡°Johnny?¡± ¡°Al? Why are you here?¡± asked Johnny ¡°I just felt like being here that¡¯s all,¡± ¡°What happened Johnny? Why are you crying?¡± ¡°It was some kids from the other school they took my book.¡± ¡°Where are they?¡± ¡°They¡¯re at the swings.¡± ¡°Let¡¯s go get your book back.¡± Al grinned. They were using it as a punching block. Since Johnny was a scrawny looking kid and in the addition that he was always quiet carrying around books he would sometimes be bullied. Al and Johnny have been friends since they were both in elementary school. Since the death of Al¡¯s parents things haven¡¯t been the same. Al walked in front of the two big husky boys. ¡°Hey wouldn¡¯t it be better if you practiced for real?¡± Al taunted the two. ¡°Yeah do you want to volunteer?¡± said one of the big husky boys. ¡°Sure¡± Al grinned. After a few minutes the two big husky bows were on the ground bruised and panting. The two big boys then ran off. Al warned them that if they ever see them again he¡¯ll do more than what he did. Albert picked up the book and gave it to Johnny. "Here ya go Johnny." "Thanks Al!" "No problem!" The two shook hands and separated. After helping Johnny, Al felt thirsty. He decided to go to a convenient store to go buy something to drink. Al walks inside the convenient store. He sees some guys with a guns and one of them pointed at him. *Boom!* ** Next Chapter: Days 1-5 Days 1-5 [Day 1] I awoke to the sounds of screaming. I opened my eyes and the first sight I see is man holding a sword. The man had a hysterical expression on him. In his hand was a short sword and when he swung it he would laugh hysterically as he mow down little green men that were frantically running around. While I watched the man hysterically laugh a woman had blocked the view. She stared at me and picked me up. "Honey look its one of their babies!" said the woman. "Toss it here I''ll slice it in the air." said the man. "But I want to keep it" The woman made a face to the man. The man allowed the woman to keep me. "Just remember goblins grow up fast. You better train it by tomorrow." said the man. "I think its half elf since they had elf women here as prisoners." What I heard shocked me. apparently I am a goblin and I might also be half elf. The woman wrapped me in fur made from a fox''s coat. She put me in box and I began to cry. After a few minutes of crying she tried breast-feeding me. She took out her left breast and put it in my mouth. I suckled on it but then suddenly I bit it too hard that her nipples tore off. She screamed and threw me as the carriage was moving in a high-speed. ** [Day 2] I found my self struggling to get out of a bush when I woke up. I seem to have grown into a child, which was strange because yesterday i was only a baby who couldn''t even move. I hypothesized goblins could grow at an exceeding pace similar to some farm animals raised for consumption. I looked around to see where I was. Frightened and hungry i was in a bit of a panic. I felt something In my mouth it was the woman''s nipple. Since I was hungry I ate it.

A voice in my head startled me. It said that I learned the human language after eating the woman''s nipple. If that is true then if I eat things I''ll gain abilities. I grabbed twig from a bush and swallowed it. It tasted bitter. I chewed and swallowed. Nothing. I just consumed a twig for no reason. Then if that''s the case maybe if i ate other things I''ll be able to learn different abilities. I decided to look for something that I might be able to kill and eat. I saw a horned beetle it was half my size. I didn''t look dangerous except for the horn that it has on its head. I decided to sneak from behind to avoid being stabbed by its horn and smash it with hard stone that I found. I went up to it but when i got close enough it flew away. I tried again and again. When ever I would be close enough to smash it the beetle would fly away. I became frustrated and decided throw the stone. *Smash* The stone that i threw hit something. I looked searched for where the sound came from It was a beetle. I hurried to get its carcass. I''ve never smelled anything like it before. I took a bite of its leg it was crunchy and it had a sweet taste with a texture of pudding. I ate all the parts except for the horn which i kept aside. I was so hungry that after i ate the crunchy body parts of the beetle, i slurped its juice from the ground.

I was right. Whenever I ate something I would learn an ability. This time its the ability [Sensor] that the beetle used on me. The ability seems to sense things that wants to bring harm to the user. That''s why the beetle flew away before I got I close enough to hit it. I picked up the beatles horn which i saved. It was decently long. It could be considered as a knife. I searched the area for things to hunt. I found another beetle I grabbed my stone and lunged it toward the beetle. Success! I hurried and ate the carcass. I didn''t learn any abilities but my [Aggressive Sensor] ability leveled up. I was now able to sense things around me in a one yard radius. I caught more beatles using my stone. After eating a bunch of beetles, my [Sensor] ability''s ranged was now three miles around me. It was starting to get dark. I decided to look for a place to sleep. Since I couldn''t find a place to sleep I decided to climb a tree and sleep atop from it to prevent being attacked while i slept. ** [Day 3] From atop the tree i could see a yellow frog. The yellow frog was sitting peacefully then a snake came and tried to devour it. Once the snake touched the yellow frog, the snake froze and fell on the ground. The frog then hopped away then minutes later the snake began to move. That made me want to catch the frog and eat it. I climbed down from the tree and i knew what to hunt next. I went to the area where I saw the frog and searched for it. I saw one sitting peacefully on a branch. I used my beetles horn and stabbed it. After that I swallowed it whole.

I could now change my skin like the toad''s. I changed the skin of the tip of my left index finger into [Paralysis Skin]. I tied it on a snake but it only lasted for a few seconds. I decided to hunt the yellow frogs all day to raise the effects of the ability. [Day 4] I raised the effects of [Paralysis Skin] yesterday. I even learned new abilities from eating the yellow frogs. I am now resistant to paralysis and I am able to breathe underwater. Today I''ll test out [Paralysis Skin] and its duration. I found a snake and touched it with my left index finger. I waited for more than twenty minutes. Then I ate the snake.

After eating the snake my body which use was flabby was now lean. I looked at the water''s reflection and could see that my body was a bit toned than before. I continued to hunt for snakes until my body became even more leaner. While hunting I came upon a cave. Its trashed and there were dead goblins everywhere. This place is where the humans abducted me. I looked around to see if there was anything useful. I saw a elf''s body female body. I decided to eat it to learn any abilities it contained.

I took all the carcass of the dead goblins. I ate some to see i could learn anything. But I didn''t. So I decided to bury them. I used most of the day digging a big hole big enough to bury all the dead goblins. I used the rest of the day to clean the cave. This was now my base. I wondered if there were any more goblins around or did the two humans kill all of them. The sun came down and I''m exhausted from digging and cleaning the cave. I decided to sleep inside the cave. [Day 5] I decided to search the area to see if there were other goblins. hopefully I am not the only one. I searched for caves but there was none around I decided to go farther. Suddenly i could hear barking of dogs and a familiar laughter. I know that laughter. It was the humans who killed all the goblins in the cave. I observed what they were doing. They were doing the same thing that they did in the goblin''s cave but this time they were murdering kobolds. Kobolds are creatures much like goblins but they have the features of dogs. I asked my self if I should do something. They did kill my clan. I decided to watch because I knew that if I faced them i wouldn''t stand a chance. I don''t have the abilities to combat experienced armed warriors. I felt so worthless and weak. I felt powerless as I watched the kobolds be murdered. Then I remember that I have all these abilities. There''s still a chance. I sneaked inside the cave. I saw that the woman was alone so i decided to target her first. While she looked at the Kobold''s treasures I touched her with my left index finger and instantly she became immobilized. I bounded her legs and arms. I also stuffed something in her mouth just incase the paralysis subsides fast she wont be able to scream. I then sneaked behind the man laughing hysterically as he kept stabbing the already lifeless body of a kobold in front of him. I touched the skin of his arm with my left index finger. Instantly his froze and his face stuck to his hysterical laughing face. I decided to eat the man while he was incapable of moving. I figured he let me watch him kill my kid so figured I let him watch me eat him. It just seems fair. I also bought out the woman to let her watch. I began eating his hand to his shoulder though he couldn''t move i could see the screaming agony in his eyes. Every time i finished a part i would touch them again with my index finger just to make sure they stay paralyzed. An hour later I''ve eaten all of his limbs. I learned some skills.

The man was not very high quality there for i only learned a few thing. He was still conscious and alive it seems that the paralysis is preventing him from bleeding. I decided to finish him off. I never did like playing with my food. I kept the short sword that he had on him. Along with other many useful things. I also kept the woman alive for future purposes. I searched the Kobold cave for survivors but there was none. I decided to clean the place then maybe I''ll find something useful. While I arranged the place I heard whimpering. The whimpering came from outside. I rushed to find where the whimpering was coming from. It came from a dead female Kobold laying on the ground and with her she held a baby with dog ears. It was a baby Kobold mixed with human. I took it inside the cave and covered it with a blanket. After cleaning the cave I decided to take care of the pup. [End of Day 5] Next Chapter: Days 6-8 Days 6-8 ** [Day 6] I was sitting inside the cave staring at the baby Kobold. I feed it some meat from a snake that I''ve killed. After it ate, it fell asleep. The woman that I caught yesterday shook in fear whenever I visited her. It must have been because of what I''ve done in front of her. I was able to speak to her because I had [Human Language] ability. I told her that she wouldn''t be harmed if she tells me where their cart is located. As shook she told me their cart is located 4 miles from this cave. I thought long and hard about it and I decided to go in search of their cart. If I don''t go out and get the things in the cart other being might. I left cave with the baby and the woman inside. I bought with me the short sword that the male human owned. It¡¯s pretty sharp and big for me. Since I already knew how to use sword from the training I¡¯ve received in my previous life it shouldn''t be that hard. After a mile and a half I encounter what looks like a monkey. The monkey has long arms and is covered in blue hair. It was all by itself so I decided to go after it. While it was witting and eating I sneaked up behind it and touched it with my left index finger and used [Paralysis Skin]. In an instant it froze. I then stabbed it in the heart and began eating the monkey. It was pretty good it was like pork but tougher.

With the new ability that I learned by eating the blue monkey I am now able to lift myself up trees with ease. I could travel going from one tree to another which was very convenient and a fast way to travel. I traveled through the trees I kept pulling myself from one branch to another. After two miles of traveling by trees I got down on the ground because the forest has ended. I began to walk then I saw the cart. It was connected to a horse. I looked through all of the things and most was useless. There are lots of animal hide I could use to sleep on. There are also stacks of ropes, Needle and thread and a steel buckler. I put all of the things that I¡¯ve found in a bag. I then mounted the horse after separating it from the cart. Since I had [Horse Riding] ability from eating the human male, I used the horse to get back to the cave. I arrived at the cave and I could hear the baby Kobold whimpering. I decided to kill the horse because it would be hard to maintain it. I took horse''s tail and kept it. I remember that horse tails were used for many things. I gave some meat to the baby Kobold and I ate the rest.

After eating the horse I felt very sleepy. I decided to sleep. It¡¯s nice to sleep with a full stomach. [Day 7] As I slept I was being bothered by something. It felt as if someone was poking my face. I didn''t open my eyes because [Aggressive Sensor] didn''t pick up any signals. The poking continued so I opened my eyes. It was the baby Kobold. But instead of a baby it was now a child. The child looked human but had a tail and dog ears on its head. I stared at the Kobold and it smiled. Then he said. "Father I¡¯m hungry." My eyes widened. The Kobold child called me father. I decided to call the Kobold child One. I hit One on the head and he started to whimper. I told him to not bother when I''m sleeping. He replied by saying that he''ll never do it again. I told One that if wanted to eat he has to hunt it himself. I gave him the horns of the beetles that I used as weapons. I also gave him some clothes because he was naked. I took him out to the forest. I saw a snake and i let him kill it. I observed him; he was pretty fast with really good reflexes. He was able to kill the snake without a problem. After killing the snake I patted One''s head and told him good job. I now have a hunting partner. I decided to hunt more with One. We walked around the forest and saw a huge snake it was all purple so we called it Purple Snake. I commanded One to distract the snake''s head while I came from behind to strike it. Once I was behind the snake I gave One the signal. One lunged at the snake. The snake''s attention was all on One. Then something interesting happened. The snake kept staring at One. Somehow One''s movement slowed down till he stopped and turned into a zombie like state. The snake was hypnotizing One. One just stood there with blank eyes in front of the snake. Then the snake began wrapping itself around One. I touched the snake with my left index finger and used [Paralysis Skin]. The snake froze before it could begin to constrict One. I sliced the snake''s head with the short sword. I cut up all its body to release One from its coil. I put a piece of the snake aside and ate the rest.

After using [Hypnosis] I asked the blue monkey to lead me to where the entire blue monkeys live. We followed the blue monkey to a humongous tree. On top of the tree was a tree house and all around the area there were blue monkeys. It was a bit scary because there were only two of us. I decided that we should retreat and return to the cave. i asked the blue monkey that i hypnotized to follow us. Once we arrived in the cave I killed the blue monkey and we ate it. I left some piece to feed to the woman who was still tied up in the back of the cave. I visited her and once she saw me she began to tremble. I used [Hypnosis] on the woman. Since I had [Human Language] ability I was able to communicate properly with her. I asked her about her life. She told me that she was a swordsman who was married to a novice adventurer. The man I ate was her husband. No wonder I didn''t learn anything from him he was a novice. The woman also told me that they have a home not far from here. In her home are valuable books and rare weapons which she had collected from the years that she traveled. I decided to use [Brainwashing] ability. I altered her mind to follow my every command no matter what. I tested if it worked I told her to make an outfit for me and One using the animal hide and needle and thread that I found on their cart. [Day 8] When the sun rose, the woman gave us the clothes she made using the animal hide and needle and thread. It was pretty stiff but other than that she did a good job. I ordered the woman to leave the cave and commanded her to return to her home and bring all the valuable things she talked about. Also to bring all the weapons and armors that she had stocked up back to this cave by herself. I gave her the short sword that belonged to her husband and the woman left. Hopefully she survives the journey. One and I went out to hunt we found more Purple snakes and Blue monkey''s. Since I lent the short sword to the woman I was back to using the beetle''s horn. We killed and ate all the Purple snakes and Blue monkeys.

I learned three resistance abilities which were nice. I then saw a cave. It was the cave I was born in. It was the goblin''s cave. As I was about to go something come out of the cave. It was another goblin and this one was old. I was excited because I found out that I am not the only one. I decided to go and talk to the goblin. I asked One to hide while I talk to the old goblin. The old goblin was surprised to see me. He more was more scared than surprised so he called out other goblins. Four of them rushed out of the cave. They had sticks and attacked me. One came out of hiding because he saw that I was being attacked. I used my left index finger and used [Paralysis Skin] ability on all of the goblins. All four goblins froze. I told One to stop while I talked to the old goblin who was the leader of the goblins. I told the old goblin that I was born here and that I am one of them. He listened to me but he didn''t care. He said that I wasn''t part of the clan. He said that the he led the humans into the cave so the goblins inside would be massacred. They were the unwanted. When I heard him say that he was the cause of all of the murdered goblins I got angry. I took the beetles horn and stabbed each of the goblin that was frozen on the nape. They all died standing up. I then touched the old man with my index finger. I cut open his head and ate it in front of him as he died. My rage subsided and I felt regret. Things could have gone better by talking but I let my anger control me. I never found out why we were the Unwanted. I looked inside the cave and there were three baby goblins. I decided to take them back to the Kobold cave. One and I brought the three goblins to our cave yesterday. I told One that these are his new siblings. He became happy and started wagging his tail. [End of Day 8] Next Chapter: Days 9-12 ** Days 9-12 [Day 9] The baby goblins that adopted are still babies. Two are females and one of them is a male. Most likely by tomorrow they''ll grow up to become children. I decided to seam some clothes so by tomorrow when they become the size of elementary students they''ll have something to wear. While i try to make clothes for the goblins I sent One to hunt food for the babies. Creating clothes are not as easy as it looks. I continuously keep poking my fingers with holes using the needle. After a few hours I finally created a shirt. I need to make two more. I became frustrated and hoped that the female human came back to do these stitching. When the needle prickled me again I threw the pelt against the wall out of frustration. Then realized that One hasn''t returned yet. I began to worry. I decided to go out and look for One. I hope that he hasn''t been eaten by a Purple Snake. I told him to avoid Purple Snakes because something similar like before my happen again. I stepped out of the cave and i saw One, who looked beaten up dragging a horned goat. I asked him what happened. He said that he didn''t want to disobey me by encountering Purple Snake so he decided to look for food in the mountains. When he arrived at the mountain there were herds of mountain climbing goats. It took him a while because the goats kept climbing up and down. He said he didn''t want to come back home empty-handed so he kept going after one goat until he finally killed it. I patted One''s head and told him he did a good job. When he heard my compliment he smiled while he wagged his tail. I asked him where the goats were he pointed to a direction east from the cave. I told him to go inside and feed his siblings and that I''ll go out hunting for more goats. I arrived at the mountain in the far east of the cave and there were many goats grazing. I decided to after the nearest one and touch it with my index finger to use [Paralysis Skin]. I lunged at the goat and it jumped to a higher area of the mountain. I decided to attack group of them for a higher chance that I''ll be able to touch one of them. I lunged towards a group of five. I manage to grab one of its hind legs. With my left index finger I used [Paralysis Skin]. It stopped moving and I began consuming it.

The goats began making noise in unison. Suddenly a black goat came rushing down towards me. I stood up and dodged the attack. Surprisingly I moved very fast. It must have been due to [Nimble Foot] ability. I began to jump side to side and felt as if I was floating as i lifted my self. The black goat turned around and once again charged towards me. I jumped and then flipped over the goat touching its face with my left index finger. The black goat slammed into the wall of the mountain. I couldn''t move due to my [Paralysis Skin] ability. I used my beetle horn to cut its throat but It couldn''t penetrate the skin. I kept trying to force the beetle horn to penetrate the skin but the skin was too tough and the beetle horn snapped into two. I took a rock and smashed the head of the black sheep. Its skin was still intact but the skull was smashed. I decided to keep smashing it but its skin was too strong. I began consuming the paste which came out of its body.

After smashing its insides to a pulp with a rock and consuming all of the paste I decided to go back to the cave with the black goat''s skin. I stored it for future use. After storing the black goat skin, I saw One and the three baby goblins sleeping besides each other. I decided to join them and slept beside them. [Day 10] I woke up and felt different. I looked at my hand it was bigger. My hands are covered in dark metallic blue color. I took the steel buckler shield and looked at my reflection on it. I changed. My whole body is colored in dark metallic blue. I was taller and my reflection looked like me before I died except for the color of my skin and the silver hair. I am not a goblin anymore it''s as if I evolved. I wish I knew more about everything and why they happen. As I was in deep thoughts about lacking knowledge, One looked up to me smiling while wagging his tail. Behind him were three children goblins. The goblins grew just as I predicted. I decided to give the shirt I made yesterday to one of the females. I also took off my shirt which was properly made by the female human and gave it to the other female goblin. I took off my pants which was extremely tight for me and gave it to the male goblin. I grabbed the bag of pelts and the threads and needle and decided to attempt to make myself a new set of pants. I spent most the day making my pants. While I was stitching the pelts together to make a pair of pants, I observed the goblin children and wondered what I should name them. I decided to name the male Mojo and the females Buttercup and Blossom. Once I was finished I decided to take out the kids to see their abilities. I gave the three of them horns of mountain goat. I told them to attack me one at a time. Mojo is slow but persistent. Buttercup is fast but she gets tired easily. Blossom was the same as Buttercup. After observing i decided that everyone needs to start doing some endurance training. After we ate something i told everyone to sleep because tomorrow we start training. [Day 11] We woke up early in morning. I taught them how to stretch, then after stretching we ran to the mountain where the mountain goats lives. Once we arrived i decided to kill one of the goats and gave it the children to eat. I killed one more just for my self. I killed four goats after everyone had their rest. We ran to the cave while each of the children dragged the carcass of a mountain goat. If this was back before i died. These actions would be considered child abuse. But these were not ordinary children. They were goblins and a half Kobold children. After we arrived in the cave i decided to let them rest. While the children rested, took out the bag animal skins that i got from the female human''s cart. I noticed something strange with some of them. They were stitched up into some kind of container. I saw that it had an end which is plugged by a piece of wood. I opened it and it was water. I took out the rest of the animal skin and there were six big bags of animal skin container. Then I realized that we had no source of water in the cave. All this time we relied on the blood of the things that we killed to quench our thirst. I decided to end the training for the day since it was the first day. We two of the goat that we got from the mountain then went to sleep. [Day 12] We began the day with stretching. I bought out the water containers that I discovered inside the bags of animal skin. I gave each of the children one and I carried two for myself. I decided that we would run to the river which was far beyond the goat mountain. Once we arrived the children were exhausted. They lay on the ground gasping for air. After resting we filled the water container made from animal skin. The containers filled until it was taller than the children. It was as heavy as a goat''s carcass. We continued filling the containers. Then an arrow came from the other side of the river. It was a human on a horse. I told the children to hide behind the trees. I dropped the water container and decide to hide behind on the trees. The human crossed the river by jumping to our side using his horse. He pointed his bow at one the children and I charged at the human then jumped over him and his horse before he could release his arrow. While in the air I managed to grab his arm. I touched his skin with my left index finger to use [Paralysis Skin]. The human froze then I took the knife that he has on his waist and shoved it into his chest. The children had a frightened look on their face. I told them that this is one of the reasons why I want them all to be strong. I want them to be able to defend themselves and their brothers and sisters. The children listened to every word that I said and nodded their head in admiration. I took the human far from the children and consumed his body.

I kept the clothes that the human wore and put it on. It was the right size for me and was very comfortable. The boots were nice as well and looked brand new, luckily it fitted me. I took the bow and all the quivers that he had. I checked his bag which was on the horse. There were whet stones, a map and some flints. I took the horse and stacked the bags of water container on it. The children and I went back to the cave. Once we arrived i taught them the basics of aikido. Then after i taught them how to use a bow and arrow which i just learned recently. After training i looked at the map. I stared at it for a while. I looked and compared the place where the cave is. If i was correct than there''s a village beyond the river. I folded the map and put it somewhere safe. We ate the horse that was owned by the human that attacked us. I told the children to sleep so they can have lots of rest for tomorrow. As lay on the ground staring at the cave''s ceiling. I started to wonder why i was here. [End of Day 12] Next Chapter: Days 13-18 Days 13-18 [Day 13] Since the incident yesterday the children became determined to become stronger. After the morning run to the mountains where the goats lives, I killed four goats and let the children drag it back to the cave. With them dragging it back to the cave, it''ll help train their strength and endurance. I decided to make this our daily routine hopefully good results will come out of it. I wasn''t worried about reducing the populations of mountain goats since there are plenty of them. The two mountains east of the cave are literally covered in mountain goats. It was just a temporary source of food until the children can become strong enough to be able to fight something else. After arriving from the mountain, we practiced the basics of aikido. The children were fast learners, its been the second day and i''ve seen no mistakes with their stances and footwork. I let the children drink some water and rest for the rest of the day. I decided to try my [Crafting] ability. I took the bag of pelts then took out dome goat pelts. I also took out the needle and threads. Using the [Crafting] ability I was able to make clothes with ease. I was amazed how skills that needs years of training could be learned so easily by consuming someone. It gave me an idea. I spend the rest of the day making better clothes for One and the goblins. I told the children to sleep and i also went to sleep. [Day 14] Early morning I instructed One to take care of his siblings. I told him to go do the the same trainings as yesterday and then sleep. I also told him that if i don''t come back home, that he should do the same training every day until i come return. I gave One the knife i got from the ranger and told him to protect his siblings if anything happens. I took the bow and quivers then left the cave. I went east near the river and walked along the edge of the forest. I kept walking until the sun went down. Since i could see in the dark due to a skill goblins have, I kept walking and didn''t worry about walking in the dark. I stopped once I saw a camp fire in the woods. I decided be quiet and sneak closer to observe. One of them looks like a friar. He has a circular bald spot on his head and wore a brown garment which has a hood. The other looked like a mercenary. He has a beard with a red bandana on his head. Beside the mercenary looking fellow is bag. I was curious about the bag. I listened to their conversation. They were talking about A tournament in village near by and how there''s going to be a lot of people. The man who looks like a mercenary said the he traveled from the west to join the tournament that will be held in three days. He then laughed and patted the big bag which he says are his armor which he made himself for the tournament. The friar looking guy says he''s there to sell his skills to the injured. Apparently the mercenary guy is a knight and a black smith while the friar looking guy is a cleric. I grinned when I realized how lucky I was to encounter the two. I waited for then to sleep then once asleep I used the bow and arrow to first hit the knight. I released the arrow from the bow but the knight used his sword to to deflect the arrow. I jumped and moved away. The knight then got up and followed me. Though I have the ability [Advance Nimble Foot], he was able to catch up to me. He lagged behind but he was persistent. He swung his sword but missed due to me jumping faster than him. I didn''t tire easily due to [High Endurance] ability. I kept jumping and he kept attacking. As I kept dodging i led him deeper into the forest. Once he got tired he turned around and saw that he wasn''t near his camp anymore. He realized that I had the advantage now so he tried running back to his camp screaming for the cleric''s help. I grabbed his hand where he held his sword with my left hand. He instantly froze. I looked at his face and the face that showed determination to kill me before was now a face full of fright. I took his sword and cut his head off with it. I removed his clothes and boots which were really nice quality. I then consumed his body.

I smiled due to the skills I''ve learned eating. I went back to the camp to get the cleric but once I arrived he had already disappeared. It seemed like the cleric was in a hurry to leave because he had left his bag. I checked the bag and it contained some gold coins and a thick book that says: The creatures of forest. I then looked inside the knight''s bag. It was fearsome looking armor. The armor fully black with strange carvings on in. I decided to head back to the cave to bring back all of the things I''ve found. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. [Day 15] I arrived at the cave and was greeted by One and the goblins. I told them to go and train without me. I stored the things i found in the forest in the back of the cave. I felt sleepy so i decided to sleep. I woke up in the afternoon and saw that the children were practicing the basics of aikido. Their movements were becoming almost fluid like. That was a good sign. I opened the book and read a part about goblins. It says that goblins have the ability to transcend into better beings. Though its rare since most goblins are weak and have low intelligence. The rare goblins transcend into hobgoblins then after hobgoblin its unknown due to the rarity of the occurrence it has never been recorded. According to this book, I''m currently a hobgoblin. I closed the book and began to wonder what I''ll turn into next. I checked the water that we had left. It was enough for days. I informed One and the goblins that I''ll be going out again in the morning. I decided to create fire inside the cave to cook the goat meat that we have. One and the goblins thought it tasted better than eating it raw. Since they liked the cooked food, I taught them how to create fire using the flint that we had obtained from the ranger''s bag. Since I was worried that they might burn down the cave I gave them a rule to only create a fire in a certain area. After teaching them how to create a fire to able to cook food, we all went to sleep. [Day 16] The next I left the cave again to adventure further into the forest and if possible beyond that. At night fall I reached the camp of the knight that killed the other day. I kept going till reached a bridge. [Day 17] I hid among trees as I watched humans with carts cross the bridge. There were too many of them. If I try to move I''ll be easily detected due to the color of my body. Then all of a sudden a man who looked similar to that of the cleric the other day stood on the tree where i hid. He began urinating. As he expelled his urine he looked up with relief and saw me. He then look frightened and began opening his mouth then he could shout i grabbed his face with my left hand. He froze with his mouth open. I grabbed the man and killed him far enough so none can smell the blood. I ate him.

I wore the brown garment that he wore and put the hood on. It was too long. I decided to make it short just enough for me to walk without stumbling. I was less conspicuous wearing something like this since there were many who wore something similar. I walked besides the humans and followed a stream of travelers. I found it interesting that everything looked medieval. The tournament also has a festival. There are humans everywhere eating, drinking, laughing and playing games. There was also a stage show. In the stage show there was a man who held a sword. He depicted a hero who was famous in slaying monsters. While he spoke about bravery and what not, a goblin came out of the stage. Everyone in the crowd boo-ed when the goblin entered the stage. The goblin on the stage is in chains. It looked as if it hadn''t eaten in days. Suddenly the man on the stage sliced off the goblin''s head then everyone in the crowd cheered. I became enraged. I decided to go to the back of the stage and release some of my rage on the actor. I sneaked into the back of the stage and what i found made me fume with anger. There were cages of sickly looking goblins. Some had babies which they held. The goblins noticed me. They saw that i was one of them. They begged me to release them. I told them that I''ll do what I can. I looked for something to break the cage but I couldn''t find anything. I saw a furnace and i thought that a black smith might be located there. I rushed over and there were tools everywhere. I stole a hammer and ran back to the back of the cage. When I arrived the goblins were gone. All that was inside were the goblin babies. I broke the cages that had the goblin babies inside.I decided to take all five of the babies. I rushed out of the festival carrying the five goblin babies. I looked back and i could see from afar that all the goblins from the cages were on the stage. One by one each were executed on the stage. The crowd cheered as each of the goblins were executed. I walked away with my blood boiling and traveled back to the cave. [End of Day 18] Next Chapter: Days 19-21 Days 19-21 [Day 19] Last night I arrived the cave carrying with me five baby goblins. One and the goblins woke up when I arrived. I told them to greet their new siblings. The were happy to meet their new siblings. Buttercup commented that it will be fun to have more siblings. The others agreed and said that they need to grow up fast so they can become stronger. I went to sleep after placing the babies in animal skins. I woke up in the morning and the five goblins were already children. I instructed One and the older goblins to teach their new siblings how to stretch and right after to immediately begin their daily routine. While they stretched, i crafted some clothes for the new goblins. I finished some simple garments for the five of them. I gave them the garments to wear and i joined the daily routine. While we trained, I kept recalling the event from the human''s festival. It enraged me which cause me to run faster and harder. One, Mojo, Blossom and Buttercup were able to keep up but had a hard time due to the pace. The new goblins kept running though they lagged behind, they were determined to catch up. My mind was preoccupied with the actions of the humans in the festival. I couldn''t believe how savage and barbaric they were. Though i use to be a human and i had an idea that some humans had bad morals. But everything is different now. I am a goblin and humans are a threat to my race and many others. I swore that the humans will get what they deserve in due time. After the run to the mountains and back we ate some of the goats that the goblins dragged back to the cave. Since we were depleting our water source faster, I decided to be the one to refill the water containers and return it to the cave while One and goblins trained. The reason for my decision of going alone to the river is that there might be humans patrolling the area just like previously and if i brought One and the goblins i wouldn''t be able to protect them all at once. I left the cave carrying the water containers and headed east. I arrived at the edge of the river and checked the surroundings for humans. Since it seemed safe, I began refilling the containers. Then without me noticing three arrows hit me but all three bounced off. It must have been because of the [Steel Skin] ability which enables my skin to be hard as steel and [Steel Hide ability which enables clothes made from animal hide to be as strong as steel. One of the arrows hit me around my collar bone which wasn''t covered in animal hide. Though it did''t penetrate my skin, it was very painful. A net was then casted on me by one of the humans. There were three of humans. I tried touching them with my index finger but they were wearing leather all over. They kept kicking and punching me while I was inside the net. I was being overwhelmed and i was frustrated. Clearly they were after me to capture me not to kill me. After many strikes from their punches and kicks i was hit directly in the jaws and blacked out. I woke up being dragged to their camp, which was somewhere upstream of the river. I observed that the water was going the opposite direction from where I was being dragged. My captors and I, arrived at waterfall and entered a concealed cave. They occupied a cave which is hidden behind the water fall. They they dropped me in the corner. I looked around the cave and it was furnished. There is a long table with fifteen chairs, a board with the map of the continent displayed on it. There is also a weapon rack with weapons stacked on it. Near the weapon there is a post and tied up to it, is a kobold which is brutally cut up and close to dying. I assumed that they toyed with the kobold. That made me angry. Another group of violent and ignorant humans. They began to talk about how they should deal with me. The man that looked like a grunt suggested to sell me while the other suggested to tie me on the post and torture me. The man that looked like a grunt sat in front of me and pointed his knife. I grinned and used [Brainwashing] ability on him. I then commanded the grunt looking man to use his knife and slice the throat of the two men behind him.The two men behind the grunt looking man laughed. The grunt looking man turned around and sliced the throat of the man standing right behind him. The other man looked stunned. He couldn''t believe that the grunt looking man did as I commanded him. While he was stunned with disbelief, the grunt looking man came up to the man sliced his throat. Blood splattered everywhere. I then commanded him to release me from the bounds that restrained me. I asked him to point to the map where this area is. He pointed to the area of the goat mountains. That means this place is right behind the mountains where the goats live. I also asked him if there were others other than the three of them. They said that three of their members disappeared. A ranger, a woman swordsman and a novice adventurer. There were more but he doubts that they''ll ever return because they have taken jobs as knights for one of the kingdoms in the continent. I looked at the map and it was different from the map that I found from the ranger. The grunt looking man said that this map is the most current one because kingdoms have just recently been founded not so long ago. I had heard enough and decided to keep the man as a slave since he has many useful information. I walked over to the kobold that was tied up. I asked the grunt looking guy about the severely wounded kobold. He said that this kobold is the leader of a pack of kobold they had attacked many days ago. They attacked their cave and kept him to be toyed with. I used [Healing] ability on the Kobold Leader. He woke up and requested to be put out his misery. The Kobold Leader feels ashamed because he couldn''t protect his pack. I tried to reason with him but he said it is too late for reasons. I respected his wish and killed him then consumed him. I used [Unlock] ability which I just recently learned. The room is a big bedroom with three shelves full of books. I decided to return to the cave. I commanded the grunt looking man to stay and guard this cave. [Day 20] I arrived at the cave really early in the morning. Since it was very late at night when i left and the cave under the waterfall was quite far, it took me a while to return to our cave. I woke up One and the goblins and told them to grab everything they can and follow me. Once everyone carried everything I took them to the cave behind the waterfall. We arrived late in the afternoon in the cave behind the waterfall. I told them that from now on we''ll be living here. This place was a very lucky find. We now have unlimited source of water. Also the fact that its hidden and unknown to most humans plus with all of the things inside the cave Its a very big advantage. I showed One and the goblins where they''ll be sleeping. Their face lighted up when they laid on the bed. One yelled out that its so soft and comfortable. After everyone has settled i told them to follow me to the the table. They felt weird sitting on the chairs. I announced to them that there will be a few changes with the daily routine. I told them that the training will be the same except that in the morning the cave must be thoroughly cleaned before going out for the daily training. Then after the training I will be teaching everyone how to read and write. After the reading and writing lessons we will train again but this time we''ll add hand to hand combat. One and the goblins nodded their heads. We all slept after the announcement. [Day 21] One and the goblins cleaned the cave. After cleaning they went out to their usual routine. I joined them the separated from them when they reached the goat mountain. I told them that i would meet them in out new home. I dashed to the old cave. I wanted to check if the woman had returned but she wasn''t there. I was curious where she went. I returned to the cave expecting One and the goblins to be already there waiting for me. When I arrived all the goblins were gathered around in one spot crying. I asked what happened. They said that One was severely injured due to fighting a brown mountain goat. He was defending them from the brown goat. The goblins said that One managed to kill the brown mountain goat. But before he killed it, One was stuck by the goat''s horn which snapped and was embedded into him. I looked at One and he had a horn stuck in his chest. I began using [Healing] ability. His wound healed but still he looked as if he was in pain. I decided to carry One to one of the beds. I told the goblins that today''s routine was for the rest of the day. Everyone gathered around One. I looked at One with guilt. I thought that everyone would be safe in the goat mountain since i killed the black mountain goat. I didn''t know that there would be others. I stayed by his side and worried. The goblins cried praying that their big brother would recover. We all stayed by his side waiting if he''ll ever wake up. [End of Day 21] Next Chapter: Days 22-28 Days 22-28 [Day 22] One opened his eyes and looked at everyone and smiled. Seconds later his eyes then became dilated and his body pale.Their big brother''s lifeless body laid on the bed. The cave echoed with goblins bawling with grief. I told the goblins to gather dry wood and stack them together. Mojo carried One''s body and gave it to me to put it on top of the of the stacks of dry wood. I gave each goblin a torch that I had found inside the armory. We each lit our torch and one by we tossed the torch besides the dry wood to say our farewell. As each goblin say their goodbye to their beloved big brother, they make a promise. All goblins had similar promise;To be strong enough to defend the life of their siblings. I promise to make sure that they fulfill their promise. I threw my torch on top of the dry stacked wood besides One''s body. We all watched as One''s body burn. I secretly kept a piece of One. I kept it because i was curious about the ability that would learn I ate a piece of him. I secretly went somewhere far and consumed it.

I was surprised with the ability that I obtained from consuming a piece of One. It seems that One was a mortal but he would have been able to out live all of us if he had still lived. After the funeral ceremony we returned to the cave and began our daily routine. We ran to the goat mountain but this time I told each goblin to kill their own goat. I observed each goblin as they fought. Mojo''s speed had improved though his strength was something to be noticed. He killed a goat by grabbing it and slamming it on the ground. The next was Buttercup. Her speed grew alarmingly. She killed the goat by cutting it throat with in a minute. Blossom had done the same thing and her speed matched the speed of Buttercup. Then it was the turn of the five new goblins. Brock who i named because of his squinty eyes was persistent. It took him a while to kill one but he used his goat horn effectively by stabbing the goat on the chest. Ash was the same with Brock but he kept changing goats until i told him to stick to one then he was finally able to kill a goat. Dash was the fastest male goblin among them. He would jump on the goat then stab it till it died. Bunny was fast and strong, though she could be better with a bit more training. Bubbles was fast but lack ed stamina. We ended up using most of the day in the goat mountain. I decided for us to return back home. I told them to make a a line as i assigned them new weapons and armors from the cave''s armory. I gave Buttercup and Blossom each a steel buckler and a short sword. I gave Mojo a big round shield and a hammer. Mojo''s shield was big enough to cover three goblins. I gave him that shield because he was able to lift it. The five goblins i gave bows and quivers of arrows. Since they still lacked training, I decided for them to be the support. I then gave everyone each a leather armor. After assigning weapons and giving them armors we went to sleep. [Day 23] I decided for us to start training with weapons. I made a mini range just for the five new goblins so they can practice their archery inside the cave. I then trained Mojo, Buttercup and Blossom separately from the five new goblins. First i taught them their stance and job during a hunt. I told Mojo that he is a tank. I told him that his job is to charge in first with his big round shield. I instructed Buttercup and Blossom to be behind Mojo''s shield when the battle begins. I told Buttercup and Blossom that when Mojo is close enough to the enemy, That they''ll spring out of Mojo''s shield and attack the enemy. We practiced the scenario over and over until it was time to sleep. [Day 24] I left the five new goblins in the cave to practice their archery. Mojo, Blossom, Buttercup and I went out to the forest. I decided to practice the three goblins with real enemies. We saw a Purple Snake. As we had practice yesterday Mojo charged first with his shield. Then when he got close enough, Blossom and Buttercup came out with their shield and sword. The Purple snake had no chance and was brutally killed. It was overkill. We kept hunting till dusk and brought back the kills. I taught Mojo, Buttercup and Blossom how to prepare the meat. Using some few arrows we roasted the meat on an open fire. Everyone ate together and afterwards we went to sleep. [Day 25-28] I noticed that the five new goblins became pretty good marksmen after two days. I took out all the goblins to hunt. I decided that we would go to the Blue monkey''s tree house. I equipped my self with two short swords and a leather armor. It would take four days to travel to the tree house. So we brought only four bags of water container and a set of flints to cook our food. I led the group while behind me were the five archers and behind them were Mojo, Blossom and Buttercup. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Along the way we killed some creatures that we already encountered and ate them. I devised a tactic which we would use. Archers would be in the back shooting their arrows while Mojo defended them from in coming attack. Blossom and Buttercup would go on offense and kill with their speed. We practiced this tactic as we moved towards the tree house. Once we arrived I told the goblins to wait while i observed and the conduct a plan of attack. I told them if something happens, attack all the monkeys without mercy. I sneaked above the trees. There were Blue monkeys everywhere. I used [Conceal Presence] and [Hide] while i sneaked around. I managed to enter the tree house and there inside is a big Green monkey. I suspected him to be the leader. As i observed i saw someone familiar. It was the female human whom i ordered to retrieve her valuable things. The female human and the big Green Monkey was using her provocatively. It was not a pretty sight. I decided to sneak outside but then the big Green Monkey spotted me. I charged him and used [Paralysis Skin] before he could make any noise to warm the Blue Monkey''s but it didn''t affect him. He started to roar and fear permeated into me. The Green Monkey trashed about attempting to hit me with his huge fist. With every punch he made a hole on the tree house. I could hear fighting outside. I was confident that the goblins wouldn''t have any problems. As I was distracted thinking about the goblins, the Green Monkey hit me with a destructive punch. I looked down and part of my left lower torso was missing. I could taste blood in my mouth. At that moment my life flashed before my eyes. With the strength that I still had cut him using the two short sword that i have with me. The tip of one of the short swords broke as I strike him. A chunk of the Green Monkey flew off and landed on the ground. I grabbed one of my sword and stabbed him in one of his eyes. The Green Monkey screamed agony. Then an idea came to me. I pulled out the sword which i struck and rubbed the tip with my left index finger. I stuck it into his other eye. He completely froze and fell to the ground. Blood spewed out of my mouth. I was on the ground bloodied in the Green Monkey''s blood and mine. I felt light headed and my sights were becoming blurry. I noticed that the Green Monkey''s arm which i took a chunk off of began to heal slowly. Out of desperation i decided to eat the piece of the Green Monkey.

I lifted my head and saw the Green Monkey. He began to start moving. My body also began to heal but not fast enough that i could move properly. The Green Monkey stood towering over me while i was on the ground. It grabbed my head and put it in front of his face. It began sniffing me while it slowly tried to crush my head. I used [Hypnosis] on my Green Monkey. I went outside and called on the goblins. There were dead Blue Monkeys everywhere. I told them to start grabbing all the weapons and bodies they could find and prepare to leave. I went back inside to the Green Monkey i decided to erase his memory about me. I had foreseen the fight in my head. I played a simulation that if this fight goes on that there will be no victor between me and the Green Monkey. Also if the fight had gone on chances that some of the goblins might die from the Green Monkey was very high. I decided to retreat as fast as possible. We retreated from the tree house with all the spoils that we found. I decided to leave the female woman to keep his mind occupied from remembering anything. [End of Day 28] Next Chapter: Days 29-34 Days 29-34 [Day 29] We camped a day''s worth of travel from the Green Monkey''s tree house. My body still couldn''t move and its still regenerating. Thanks to [Severe Pain Resistance] ability i was able to prevent my self from suffering the excruciating pain from the damage i received during the fight with The Green Monkey. The goblins came to me worried because of my condition. They begged me to not leave them like their big brother One. I told them that i was fine and that I was just still unable to move properly. I asked Blossom and Buttercup to go ahead of the group and scout whats ahead. They both returned after three hours and since they both are capable of moving fast they were able to scout ten miles ahead and come back. They said that the path is clear. I commanded them to leave immediately and return home by themselves. The goblins was hesitant to leave me by my self but they did as i asked. I got up and picked up my short swords. I could sense something with my [Aggressive Sensor] ability and it was moving fast. The trees rustled in front of me then suddenly stopped. I calmed my self and tightened the grip of my swords. A loud roar abruptly echoed the forest. I knew that sound from anywhere. It was the Green Monkey. The Green Monkey charged me from the trees. I managed to dodge him by side stepping. I then ran south east and behind me the Green Monkey followed in a furious rage. As I ran and move around trees, the Green Monkey would charge head on breaking the trees in pieces. He may be strong but he lacked endurance like most brute beasts. I decided to tire him out. When he began to slow down I slowed down also. I had to make sure he was following me because I didn''t want him to go after the goblins. They would have had no chance in surviving if they fought against the big beast. The Green Monkey kept following me but his speed was greatly reduced. While he followed me I was thinking of a way to permanently end him. Since the Green Monkey was basically indestructible because of his abilities, I need to figure out a way some how. Hours later and it was already dark in the dense forest. The beast was still in pursuit of me. This time the pace wasn''t as fast as before. The chase went on till dawn. [Day 30] The Green Monkey is still following me. I am now traveling from one tree to another. As i traveled above the trees, I could see the bridge that i had used before to cross the river. I decided to lure the Green Monkey that way. I admire the Green Monkey''s persistence, but it was becoming very irritating. I arrived at the bridge and hid under the river. I could hear his roar from afar but I couldn''t tell which direction. Out of nowhere he charged and grabbed me. We both fell into the rapids of the river which carried both of us down stream. The Green Monkey was focused on me and didn''t care about his surroundings. It had grabbed my legs using both of his foot and began pummeling me with his fists. As we were dragged by the river our bodies would be smashed into rocks. Most of the time both of us were swallowing water. Luckily i have [Underwater Breathing] Ability that i had obtained from the Yellow Frogs. The Green Monkey''s strength was decreasing with every punch that he threw. A few hours later the river ended and we plunged into the ocean. The Green Monkey detached from me and sank down into the ocean. I watched him sink but he never rose back up. After three days of no sleep i was exhausted. I tried with all my might to swim back to shore. [Day 31] I arrived at the shore exhausted and deprived of sleep. I was also starving and ever since the Green Monkey had attacked me I had forgotten about eating. I was more focused on luring him and thinking of an idea to permanently destroy him. But I''m grateful that somehow the situation managed to solve it self. I walked around the shore while looking for something to eat. I noticed something moving beyond the trees. It was a small meal but it was enough to temporarily sustain me until i could fetch another meal. Suddenly i hear a shriek and my entire body was on fire. Smoke arose from beneath me. I looked down and the flesh on my legs were searing. A woman who was crying while holding the staff covered in gems and symbols had her palm pointed towards me. I woke up in chains. My arms were bound in metal chains and my lower body was burnt to crisp but was slowly regenerating. The woman from the woods sat in front of me. She began to inquire about many things. She asked where her grand mother is. She inquired what type being am I and who do i work for. I didn''t speak, I just listened to her and smiled. I could feel her anger radiate in the cell I was being held in. She began torturing me. I assumed she was doing it so she could get answers out of me. She started by cutting me with a sword. Every question she asked i ignored. She would cut me when ever I wouldn''t reply. At the end of the day my body bled from every cut she had gave me. The ground was covered in my bloody. [Day 32] I woke up being splashed by a liquid which burned my skin on contact. I could smell the searing of my flesh. I didn''t make a sound.I just stared at the woman and smiled. The woman came in with a club which was covered in spikes. She began her question again. It was the same question as before. She began by asking for the location for her grandmother. I replied by looking at her and smiling. She swung the spiked club and hit me in the face. I could feel my skin tear but i didn''t feel the pain. She then asked what kind of creature am I. I replied again by smiling. She grabbed the spiked club and furiously trashed me with it. Hours later she became irritated and stormed out of the cell. I looked down to my body and it had regenerated it self up to my knees. The skin which was burnt by the liquid also healed. the rest of my would was healing surprisingly fast. It appears that my ability to regenerate was becoming faster with every damage that I receive. I was becoming really hungry. [Day 33-34] I felt really famished. It has been two days since I ate something. I looked down below my body and my foot began to take shape. Though i was missing some toes i was almost fully healed. The door in my cell opened and the woman entered with an elf. The elf began to talk in elven language. I replied to her back in her language saying to feed me. The elf stared at my eyes. I tried using [Brainwash] ability but i was just too famished to use it. The elf turned back to the woman and told her that her skills were not working on me. I guess that she tried using some type of mind altering technique. The elf left the cell and the woman stayed. She grabbed my neck with both of her hands and began choking me. With all of the strength i had left i turned some part of the skin of my neck into [Paralysis Skin]. The woman instantly froze. I smiled at her and bit off a piece of her arm. I could feel my strength come back to me with every bite that I took off of her. I told the woman that she''ll be soon joining her grandmother in my stomach. Tears began to come out of the woman''s eyes. After eating her arms i was able to break the chains off of my wrist. I killed the woman and consumed all of her.

Using [Advance Earth Manipulation] ability I made a tunnel and escaped the cell. I was still craving for something to eat. I decided to go into the surface to search for food. I resurfaced next to a building. I used [Hide] and [Conceal Presence] ability and i found a pig pen. I grabbed the largest pig and began eating it. I was satisfied after eating the pig. I decided to figure out where I was. I looked around and recognized some of the buildings. It was the city where the festival was located. I decided to leave as soon as possible. As i began to walk to the bridge there was a scream then suddenly soldiers had begun to run around as if they were looking for someone. I decided to leave before anyone spotted me. It had been a difficult week. I decided to run as fast as possible back to the cave. I was able to make it back to the cave after one and a half day. I entered the cave and there was three hobgoblins talking to the goblins. It was Mojo, Buttercup and Blossom. They had transcended. The goblins and the hobgoblins ran up to me. They told me that i looked different. Buttercup said that i now have horns and is now much bigger than before. I hadn''t realized because i was too busy being tortured. I also disregarded the fact that i had been running around naked. I suddenly felt embarrassed. I excused my self. I entered my room and searched for something to wear. It was all so small. I decided to cover myself in linen that i found and dozed off on my bed. [End of day 34] Next Chapter: The Present The Present ** I woke up the next day and i was unable to move. It felt as if I was pinned down. When I opened my eyes, in front of me are rubbles of rocks. I screamed out loud what I was thinking. "What the hell!?" Using my [Advance Earth Manipulation] ability i shaped the rubbles and rocks around me so that i could stand up. I looked around and beneath me was the bed i was sleeping in from last night. Surrounding the bed were books, pieces of wood from the shelves that the books were on and animal skin from the bed''s bedding. As I looked around tears began to fall from my eyes. Everywhere i looked were rocks and rubbles instantly I think about the Blossom, Buttercup, Mojo and the rest of the goblins. I use my [Advance Earth Manipulation] ability again to lift the rocks and rubbles from my path to search for the others. I walked into their bed room and what i saw made me tremble and tears continued to fall from my eyes. The bodies of the everyone inside the room was crushed by the weight of the rocks and boulders that fell from above them. The blood that was splattered everywhere dyed the room in red. I scream out in disbelief. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Thought run through my head. ''How did this happen? Why did this happen? and who''s responsible for this?'' Suddenly my memories play back to me like a video. An ability called [Organized Memory Bank] was labeled on the video. The video played in my head and it showed me eating an old lady in the wood. After the scene with the old lady, the scene changed with me in a prison. In the prison I was with a young female who''s arms were around my neck then i ate her. I fall on my knees in shock and disbelief. I don''t remember doing any of this, but my memory clearly shows me that i have done them. With [Organized Memory Bank] I could recall my memories and replay it as if it was a saved video on a camera. How could I have done something so vile. I stood up from where i was sitting and stared at everyone in the room. First it was One now the rest are gone. I stood there thinking I felt numb with mixed emotions. I was angry for who ever responsible for this but at the same time I am pained at what just happned. I decided to not wallow in grief and move on. Though its hard i need to keep living and imust find out what happened. After saying my farewells, one by one I burned their body using [Thermokinesis] ability that i gained from eating the young female human in the prison. This must be what they call karma. Still the whole event made me feel furious. This incident couldn''t have just happened because of what i did. This was an extermination. I need to find who ever did this and why. After properly burning the bodies of the hobgoblins and goblins, I grabbed a robe that was laying around and put it on. I left the cave or what use to be a cave using my [Advance Earth Manipulation] ability. I shaped a path for me to escape the place. Once i was outside i turned and looked at the area where the cave under the water wall use to be. The surroundings was utterly destroyed. Then suddenly the grunt looking man came out of nowhere. "Master! You''re alive." The sight of him made me glad. Instantly i asked him in an angered tone. "What happened here?!" The grunt looking man looked down after I asked my question. I asked him again with an irritated tone "Look at me and answer my question!" After asking my question i grabbed his shirt and lifted him up. The grunt looking man looked at me with at me with a terrified look. "They came from the north! Then they used their magic to cause the cave-in to happen. After that they went around every cave and did the same as this one. They were looking for hobgoblins." When I heard his answer i realized they were looking for me. I caused this to happen and Its my fault that everyone died. My strength diminished and released the grunt looking man from my my grip. "I need to know who ordered this. Guide me north to where these people came from." "As you command master." I followed the grunt looking man into a road that led north. There were carts and carriages pulled by horses that traveled the path. As i followed the grunt looking man i realized that i have never asked him for his name. I decided to ask him while walked. "You! what''s your name?" The grunt looking man stopped walking and turned to me. He bowed his head then introduced himself. "My name is Jin Ule." I walked beside him and he we continued to walk as we had a conversation. "Jin Ule. Huh, how did you become part of the guild that you were in?" Jin rubbed his head and looked up at me. "Well I use to be a slave. Then i escaped, I traveled the lands learning and honing my skills while I search for bredrins and the rest of my tribe" ''So humans in this world enslave each other also.'' I thought to my self while i stare at Jin, I suddenly feel pity towards him. "How has your search gone so far?" "I found some of my kinsmen as slaves to nobles, others have died trying to escape so they were hung and displayed outside the city wall of Shroom." "Shroom? Where is that?" "Its the city north of here it would take five days for us to reach by riding on horse but on foot, it would take longer." ''If i traveled alone i could reach the city faster than that. Jin guided me to the north after two weeks of traveling on we arrived at a city called Shroom. The city of Shroom, is one of the largest cities in the continent so says my guide. The first thing we see are the slaves hung in front of its the high walls. Jin walks up to one of the corpse that hung near the gates. The corpse that he stood in front of was a female that has been stripped naked. It had cuts and bruises on the flesh of the corpse that''s still visible. The copse has a sword and spear embedded through it. The spear was pierced through her private part and went out through her mouth. While the sword went through he stomach and out of her back. Jin started saying words I didn''t understand. The words he spoke seemed like prayers. As he say his prayers tears ran down his eyes. I became curious and asked him who this person was. "Jin who is this person?" "This was my mother." Jin''s answer shocked me. Humans of this world go as far as this to their own kind. I looked left then right and the walls were lined up with similar corpses. I asked Jin why hasn''t he try to take it down or steal the corpse. He said that the corpse are watched day and night and who ever removes it will replace the corpse. One of the guards guarding the gates yelled at us. Telling us to move away from the corpse. After a while the guard came up to us bringing comrades with him. The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings. "Hey! Big guy you don''t want to listen?" The guard tried to intimidate me with his words. After brushing off what he said he turned to violence. The guard shouting at me used his spear and struck me with the end. I turned to the guard who was shouting none sense and used [Brainwash] ability. I also used it to the guards who came along with him. I ordered them to remove the corpse that hung in front of us and wrap it up nicely. They did as I commanded and afterwards i told them to go back to their post. I gave the corpse to Jin and told him to take as much time he needs to bury his dear departed mother then once he''s done to return to me. Jin thanked me and left with the corpse of his mother. I entered the city by myself and in the city gate, there is an unending flow of traffic, and once I was inside, I immediately see all sorts of shops. People everywhere were leaving and entering the shops. It was a very cluttered place filled with people bargaining and trading. The place where I arrived had stables and inns at the entrance of the city gates. As I walked around I realized that my height made me stick out like a sore thumb. Not just the fact that I was taller than anyone but my horns were protruding from the hood of my cloak. I decided to go into one of the shops. The shop i entered is an alchemy shop. I read from one the books in the cave that there are ways of transforming one''s physical features through alchemy. Once I entered the shop i was greeted by an old man behind the counter. The shop seemed empty and only the old man was around. "Ahh Greetings! Welcome to Potions and Concoctions! How may I help you?" I scan the bottles filled with different colors of liquid in the shelves and in the glass cases. With my [Detect Analysis] ability I was able to see what the contents are and their uses. The are bottles to enhance one''s vigor in bed, the are bottles that changes the color of the eyes and bottles to enhance the heights and sizes of a person''s body part. I didn''t see the potion that I was looking for so i decided to ask the old man. "Old man, do you have any potions to transform one self to a different race?" The old man eyes squinted. He ran to the door of his shop and locked the door. He began to speak in a low voice. "I do have such concoction but its illegal to sell. If you''re interested in buying the potion its very costly." "How does the potion work?" "You simply put hair of the person you want to transform into and you''ll become that person. But beware if you are found out to be a doppelganger of the person you turn into, you will be hanged just like the slaves outside of the city wall." "Is the transformation permanent?" "It is permanent until you die that is, once you die your body will revert back to its original form." "How much for the the potion?" "100 Dubloons!" The old man declared the price of the potion. It was very costly as he had mentioned, Dubloons are gold coins which are the highest currency of the continent. It would take 100 hundred silver coins to make a dubloon and 100 copper coins to make a silver coin. It was costly indeed but I didn''t have any money at all, nor any clothes on me. All i had was the robe that hid my appearance. I decided to use [Hypnosis] ability on the old man then I tried to bargain. "Give me the potion now and I''ll pay the cost later" "Sure." The old man agreed instantly due to me using [Hypnosis] ability. The old man went out to the back of his store then minutes later he came out with a small purple vial. The vial was handed to me and I used [Detect Analysis] on it.
Doppelganger Potion Place a strand of hair from the person whom you want to transform into. Shake the vile then drink after. Transformation will persist until you die.
The old man then began to warn me. "Becareful this potion is very rare there are only 5 of them in the continent." "Thank you old man. I wont forget to pay you back." I left the Alchemy shop and went to back street alley. I need to find someone who i can turn into. I need to find someone won''t notice a common person. I walked around the alley and I find a drunk slouched down, holding a bottle behind the alchemy building. I called him drunk because he reeks of alcohol. The drunk was wearing a perfectly good looking clothes and didn''t look half bad, in fact he was very handsome. I went up to the drunk and pinched a strand of his hair from his head and put in the vial. The drunk reacted. "Ouch! You dare lay a hand on me?!" The drunk stood up and punch me with all his might in my chin. His bones made a cracking sound after hitting me. The drunk screamed out in pain. "AAAgghh! My fist! You shall rue the day you''ve met me, for I am the son of the ma. .!" Before he could finished his rambling threat I chopped him on the neck using my hand to knock him out. The drunk instantly fell on the ground. I checked if he was still breathing but it seems that I had hit him too hard. I drank the contents of the vile and it tasted bitter, my body began to glow then I began to change. I went to a barrel which had water inside of it, to have a look of my reflection. I looked exactly like the drunk but a bit taller. I''m sure no one will notice because after all he''s just some drunk fool. I took the drunk''s clothes off of him and wore it. It fitted me but it was a little tight in bottom region. I used my [Thermokinesis] ability to burn the drunk''s body to get rid of the evidence. Out of curiosity i ate a part of his flesh to see if i could learn anything still.

I was able to learn something eating the drunk''s flesh. That means I still have the ability to absorb skills. After burning the body of the drunk i used my [Advance Earth Manipulation] to bury area where the body was burnt. I was now human once again, but only on the outside. ** Next Chapter: The Duel The Duel ** I walked out of the back alley and into the streets and as I continued to walk I noticed that people that would go near me gave a face that made them look as if they smelled something awful. That¡¯s when I realized that I¡¯m giving off a strong smell of alcohol. I decided to go into a tailor shop, since I found a bag of Dubloons inside the clothes that I had just taken from the person who is now me. I thought I would make an investment and put on something new. I enter the tailor and once I was inside the tailor greeted me by name. ¡°Ahh Sir Albert! It¡¯s a pleasure to have you as a patron of my business what should it be today? What a coincidence that the person¡¯s identity that I had just taken had the same name as me. Even though I haven¡¯t used the name ever since my parents died, so it brought back some memories. ¡°Hello sir I think I need some new clothes.¡± ¡°Ahh Yes well please remove your clothes inside here and we shall have you dressed up in no time.¡± The man pointed to the booth with red and white curtains that dangled from it. I went inside but before I took off my clothes, which smelled so much like alcohol. I first checked my pockets to see if there was anything that would be valuable inside them. I checked the pockets in pants and found a letter. I opened it and read what was inside.

I looked at the clothes and it made me not want to wear it. I asked the guy outside for something else. "Do you have anything else? Maybe something black?" "Ahh a change of attire! We¡¯ll see what I have here." The man outside handed me a white collar shirt, black pants and a black vest i wore all of it and they all fit perfectly. I went outside to look at myself in the mirror and thought something was missing. The man said the words right out of my mouth as he stared at my reflection in the mirror. "Hmmm . . It seems something is missing." The tailor goes in the back room and takes out a black suit coat and a red neck tie. I put on the suit coat first then I was thinking about putting on the tie. But I decided not to. I continued to stare at my reflection on the mirror and said something out loud. "Not bad." I began to smile because I found it kind of funny that not too long ago I was a savage orc now I''m some well-groomed human who''s not quiet bad looking. I turn to the tailor and asked him the price of the clothes that I''m wearing. "How much are all these?" "For you Sir Albert? It''s on the house!" I was shocked when I heard that he was giving away these clothes for free. Then suddenly, two guys come inside the room and they recognized me. "Ahh Albert! It''s nice to see that you look like you have straightened yourself up. I guess you''re not too bitter about me marrying your one and only Elizabeth." This guy must be Franz the guy that was mentioned in the letter. "Yeah there has been a rumor of you going around the city drinking away your sorrows!" I don''t know who this short guy is but it seems like he''s the side kick of this Franz fellow. The two began to laugh in front of me. I guess these guys were bullying this Albert guy. I should teach them a lesson. I first smiled at them. "Why should I be bitter? You''re getting my left overs. The fruit is only tasty once it been bitten, twice and maybe even the third time but the fourth bite will still be a bite that something that others have already had." People gathered around from all over the city even the guards who had their post in the other parts of the city came to gamble on the duel. People all around made their bets, comment and jokes. "I bet 5 copper coins on Knight Franz!" "I bet a silver coin on Knight Franz!" "The Mayor''s son is going to die here no doubt about that!" "I bet the Mayor''s son is going to pee his pants and cry for mercy in the end!" I smiled at all of the comments and Jest. I turned to them and announced my bet. After that Franz, held his rapier high to the crowd and kissed it. I just smiled and stood there. As the duel began everyone continued to cheer on Franz. "Go Sir Franz! My life''s saving is wagered on you!" "Go Sir Franz! Beat that snotty spoiled brat!" Franz began his attacks. He lunges at me with the sword and I dodge. He continues to Lunge the Rapier at me trying to skewer me with the end of his blade. I easily dodge every attack. His attack looked very slow from my perspective. After a while he became very tired. I decided to end it quickly. I held my rapier tight and in a swift movement sliced off the tip of his member. He screams in agony and I put my hand up and shout out my surrender. "I yield!" Everyone in the crowd cheered as they hear my surrender. Franz''s agonizing scream was over shadowed by the joyous cheering of the crowds. With me losing, it meant that all who waged against me will get 100 Dubloons each. I turn to all of them and shouted to them to collect their winning from my father, the Mayor. After hearing what I had just announced, the person who is so called my dad screams out in denial. So I decided to use my [Hypnosis] ability on him to force him to pay all of the people that had bet against me. The Mayor announced to meet him in the City Bank to collect their winnings. While everyone was energetic thrilled to have won 100 Dubloons, Franz was on the ground in agony as he bled from his member. I stood there smiling watching him cry in pain. After a while when it became too much I healed it a little bit but without the tip. I walked inside the City to follow the happy cheerful citizens. Once they arrived in the bank they all lined up to collect their Dubloons. As they collected it the happy faces thanks me for losing. They were much too absorbed with the money they had just won from the bet than the person who they bet on. After the whole event Franz never walked normally again. He would tremble in fear and urinate on himself whenever he would see me. I decided to go to the place where I could get information of who gave the order to exterminate the beings inside the caves. I went to the Adventure guild to ask around. It seems that they weren''t selling any information to those who weren''t a high ranking member. I tried using Hypnotize on some of them but it seems that they were all immune. So a road block as come appeared in front of me. The Adventure guild had the number source of information, but I decided to look for an alternative so I decided to go use my so called father again. I went to his office where he was going crazy because the bank had just reported to him that he had given away over 100,000 Dubloons. Inside his office I asked if I could speak to him alone. I used my [Hypnosis] and asked him about the orders of the attacks on the caves. He said that he knew nothing about the attacks. I asked if there was anyone who would know of such. He answered told me that the Adventure guild knows everything and they might know about such things. I scratched my head and because I just confirmed that I needed to actually join the Adventure Guild and buy the information. Money wasn''t the problem which I could get easily from my so called father, but the problem was to buy any information an Adventurer must be Double S ranked. I went back to the Adventurer guild and decided to become a member. I registered myself by giving a drop of my blood and signing a form. After registering I got a card with my name and the rest of my information. The card seems to be magic and It received my information from getting a drop of my blood.

Right now I''m in the lowest rank, a beginner and a no name. The Adventurer clerk asked if I wanted to form a Guild of my own. The Guild members would be under the protection of the Adventurer Guild all throughout the continent as long the Guild members obey the laws of the Adventurer Guild and the amount of members allowed is unlimited. I decided to make a Guild for myself because it would seem useful in the future. The clerk asked what name should my guild. I told them "Unwanted". The clerk asked for my card then she returned it.

** Next Chapter: The Cost of Freedom The Cost of Freedom ** After receiving my Adventurer card the clerk told me to always hold on to my card because it would protect me from any type of mind control. That explained why I couldn¡¯t use my [Hypnosis] ability or [Brainwash] ability on anyone in the Adventure Guild building before. I asked the clerk why the card had the property to protect its bearers from mind control. The clerk replied and said that the Adventurer Guild placed a type of rune on every card that prevents the holder from being affected by mind control. It seems that there is a law that mind control abilities are forbidden and that the only race that would possess such abilities are the elven race and some monsters. But even with the elven race, such abilities are rare and if an elf did have the ability they wouldn''t be able to properly use it because after all it is a forbidden ability. I was curious about how the card worked. I wondered if it protected the holder from any mind control ability, does that mean that I wouldn¡¯t be able to use my mind control abilities on others? I decided to investigate the theory that I had just made. I went outside of the Adventurer Guild building and into the street to look for a test subject. I looked around and saw a child who was physically and verbally abusing a child slave who was tied up in the alley. The slave who was wearing nothing but rags had bruises everywhere on the skin. "Stupid slave! I told you do that always!" The child kicked the slave in the face and all the slave could do is to cower in fear. I walked toward the alley where the two were. The boy stopped beating the tied up slave and decided to pick up a sturdy wooden stick that was leaning against the wall of the building. The child began smashing the foot of the slave and continued to yell. I decided to intervene and called out the child beating the slave. "Hey kid, stop that." "Who are you and why should I?" "Your parents told you to treat your slaves like this?" "Yes that is why I''m out here. Mother and Father told me to teach this slave a lesson for not bowing at them." What the child had said shocked me. I can''t believe such morals are taught on young children in this world, especially on something as insignificant as bowing. Is it just the humans that I''ve met so far or are all humans in this world so vile and cruel? I want to continue giving the benefit of the doubt of the humans on this world. But so far from my observation, the humans in this world are becoming a lost cause. I decided to use my [Hypnosis] ability on the bratty child to test out my theory. I gave the child the command to squat and stay that way till I snap my finger. The child positioned himself and squatted down. Since I am already immune to mind control abilities, the card is basically for validity for the Adventurer Guild. I bended down my knees and took a look at the slave child who was all bruised and bloody from the beating that the child gave him. The slave is a young child with short hair that looked like he''s around five or seven years old. I decided to heal the slave. After a few minutes the bruise and the cuts on the child slave disappeared. I asked the slave for his name and I didn''t get a reply. I noticed that the mouth of the slave was moving but no sounds were coming out. I grabbed the slave''s face and looked into the mouth. The slave''s tongue was taken out. Seeing such thing enraged me. I thought if I came out carrying all of these bags full of dubloons it will definitely give me too much unwanted attention. Then suddenly I saw someone familiar. It was the grunt looking man. I called out his name from the alley. I began inquiring him about some things. ¡°What is the age requirement for person to be able to join the Adventurer Guild?¡± ¡°There are no requirements as long the person fully understands what he or she is doing.¡± ¡°What are the rules for slaves joining the Guild?¡± ¡°For a slave to join the Adventurer Guild the owner has to have the official documentations and the slave has to pay the fee of 2000 dubloons. Once the slave becomes a member of the Adventurer Guild. He or she will be considered a free being.¡± I was shocked how much the fees were to be free of being a slave. It¡¯s like basically a wall for any slaves to become free. I wondered how long Jin had to work to save up the amount to free him of being a slave. Without me using any of my abilities he signed the affidavit and I left the room before he even noticed. I went back to the alley where Jin and Catherine was waiting. I called them out then I grabbed the bags full of dubloons. I didn''t care if people noticed anymore. We all went straight to the Adventurer Guild. I handed the dull faced clerk the paper of the document. The clerk looked at it and said something. "It doesn''t say the amount." I gave him a bad reason. "I don''t know the amount; the old man just gave me the bags." "That''s fine, bring the bags here and pour its contents." The monotone clerk pointed to where to pour the coins in. I grabbed the bags and poured the bags one by one in a container that went straight underground. The sound of the coins echoed the lobby and people turned their heads to where the location of the sound. After I poured all the coins in the container the monotone clerk asked for my Adventurer Card. "Please hand me your Card." I gave him my card and he swiped it on some kind of machine. After a while he gave me back my Adventurer Card. "Thank you. Here''s your card."

After that I decided to register Catherine in the Adventurer Guild. Luckily, I found her slave documentation in the items that her previous owners gave. I the little girl up so that she can donate a drop of her blood and sign the paper. The little girl signed the paper with a pretty hand writing. I surprised that she knew how to write being a slave and all. I handed my Adventurer card to the clerk so he can deduct the cost of registration of Catherine from my card. I also joined Catherine and Jin in my guild. Since Jin lost his Adventurer Card, he had to make a new one since he lost it many years ago. The rule for losing an Adventurer card is that you have to pay a fee of 10 dubloons which is very expensive for normal people. After a while the clerk handed over their cards to them.

I noticed that Jin and Catherine have the same last names on their cards. I asked the clerk why it was like that. Then the clerk answered that when slaves are freed through the Adventurer Guild their last name is automatically Lamb. I asked if there was a way to get their real last names. He said that it would cost 1000 dubloons which was absurdly expensive. Since money was no problem, I decided to get their last names back. The clerk in the counter took back their cards and made some modification after I paid the fees.
