《Lucks Requiem》 Prologue: Im a what! So have you ever thought that your life would be better as a game? Well let me tell you living life as a game is a living hell. I mean hell with a big H E L L.I At first I thought I was going to be having the time of life. That was until I ran into my first monster. That''s when I first found out that my life was going be nowhere near what I was hoping. Before I get into the tale of my life, let me give you a little background info. Firstly my name was Blake Stormbringer. I know what you¡¯re thinking, Stormbringer really, but sadly its true. My last name sounded liked a cheesy character out of a Saturday morning cartoon. All throughout my child hood I was teased every day for it, but that¡¯s for another time. I was a 23 years old African American male. I¡¯m was what most people would call a Jeek; jock plus geek. My IQ was a 190 and I was an All-American Running back for my University football team. By now you¡¯re most likely thinking why do I keep talking about myself in past tense. Well there is a perfectly good reason for that. I died. But it¡¯s not all that bad at least I died saving a little kid that was about to get hit by a car, so it¡¯s all well and good. Ha-ha that¡¯s what you thought I was going to say right. Yea right. My death was nowhere near as glories as that. No I died by tripping over my untied shoe lace in the wrong place, at the wrong time. I just happened to be running near a new construction zone and out of nowhere a crane dropped a steel beam on top of my head. Yes a steel beam, how unlucky can one get. The only good thing about having a steel beam drop on you is you¡¯re dead before you realize your died. But the oddest thing happen to me after my death. I found myself in the middle of a forest with a message ringing in my head telling me that I have been reborn for my good deeds done in my past life. The message also went on to tell me that the world that I¡¯m in now, works similar to a world in the video games back home. With magic, monsters and all the standard things you would find in a RPG fantasy game. Needless to say I was ecstatic. I mean can you blame me, I who have just died got reborn in a world that worked like a game. I had all kinds of things running in my mind from how I was going to become some OP hero or demon or anti-hero I couldn¡¯t really pick which. But the main thing running in my head was all the girls I was going to sleep with. All the exotic human and demi human females of this world, with most likely big breast and coke bottle shaped bodies. Stolen novel; please report. As you can see my mind was nowhere near where it should have been at that moment. I didn¡¯t check to see what kind of body I had, what skills I had if any, and what my level was or if I was even human. No I was just mindlessly walking through the forest not having a care in the world. After walking for, I¡¯m guessing 2 hours, I ran into my first monster. A seemingly 10 foot tall human looking monster. Now to my defense I was not clearing thinking at that moment. I being the genius that I was, thought being as I was just reborn and this world was said like a game, that this had to be a beginner monster. I¡¯m not going to tell you how the fight went but I will say this¡­Skyrim. Now I know what your thinking, did he really just get smacked by a giant and die lol. Sadly yes and no. Firstly before I explain myself let me start off by asking you, please don''t laugh it''s bad enough that it happened. Remember how I said that I was going to find out how my life was going to be hell. Well this is where it all started. So...let''s see how I can explain this to you so that it won''t hurt as much. The first thing I got to say is that giant I saw was not a giant at all. It was a five year old kid. Yes you heard that right a kid. And secondly he was not a monster but human. The first monster I been talking about, well that was me. O how mad I was to find that out. Like come on who wants to be reborn as a monster. That really throws a wrench in my plans to sleep with a lot of woman and to take over the world per say. But that''s a whole other problem. So back to the story, where was I again. O yea, like I was saying I was reborn as a monster and the worst monster possible. A slime. Like really a fucking slime. If I was to be reborn as a monster a least a goblin or a kobold or any other dam monster for that fact, would have been better. And to make it worst I was so small that I thought a five year old kid was a giant. Like come on......You know what let me stop here, every time I think about this I get so pissed off I can''t even think straight. So with that said let''s get to the real story of my living hell in a world that works similar to a game. As I''m telling you this story I will try to keep my anger and tears in check but if that doesn''t happen please just give me a good hit on the head to get me back on track ok. So after about three hours of talking to The Bastard, ( this is the name I gave MekRet because he pissed me off) he has given me a lot of information to feast on. He explained the to me what the voice in me head ment by saying this world ran like a video game. About the laws of the world, the different races, and magic. So the world works like this, there are a set of laws that run the world called ExtumCode, called ExCode for short. The ExCode rules everything in the world. It even gives the gods there powers. Chapter chapter 1.2: Slime 101 Day 1 Where the hell am I now? I thought that bastard said I was going to be reborn, then why is it so dark. Man I really can¡¯t stand that guy. It¡¯s time to learn slime 101. -Ding- You have found out you¡¯re a slime. Intelligence+3 Wow are you for real. I got some stats for learning information that I already knew. Humm¡­ if I can get stats so easily form past information I may be able to milk this. I start to follow the older slime out of the room we were just in. As we step to my surprise we were inside a hollowed out large tree. Well I think it was a large tree, I¡¯m still don¡¯t know how to judge sizes yet with this body. ???:Eion go sit slide over there next to the other little slimes so I can start class. As I walk over to the area the older slime indicated I start to realize that there are about 100 other little slimes, about my size, that look like green balls of snot all around the place. I also see bigger blue slimes, yellow, orange, purple and red. Looking at them all I¡¯m reminded of a bag of skittles. Speaking of skittles I¡¯m hungry as hell I hope this doesn¡¯t take too long so I can eat. ???: Ok little ones my name is Zotuki, and this is Slime 101. Zotuki: As you al know by now you little ones are the newest batches of slimes just born. Most of you will be dead in, um let¡¯s say about a week or so, What the fuck I though the bastard said he was putting me with a family so that I wouldn¡¯t die so fast. Just wait until I see him again. Zotuki: Now, now settle down there is no reason to get upset about that jut the way the world works. ~Ding~ You learned a little about how the world works +2 intelligence You got to be kidding me, I get a stat boost for learning I might die in a week. How fuck up can this world be for that to happen. Zotuki: Ok so let¡¯s start Slime 101. The first think you need to learn about slimes is how to eat. We eat things by either sliding over the bodies to dissolve them, or if you¡¯re strong you can pull them into your body. Eion: Zotuki I got a question. Zotuki: Wait to the end. Now secondly slimes have the ability to take in some of the memories of the things we eat. We don¡¯t per say get those memories we get some of the experiences locked in those memories. Zotuki: Those experiences can be anywhere from knowledge about art, weapons, geography, or skills. The stronger the memory that was eaten, the bigger amount of expericane you get of that memory. Wow that could come in handy. Do I see a cheat code right here. All I got to do is eat a strong monster and Bam I got me some skills. Zotuki: Is everyone following. Good, good. So where was I, right base slimes are weak against fire or fire base attacks. We get dried out if the fire is to hot and trust me you don¡¯t want to see a dried out slime. Zotuki: But at the same time you base slimes have a medium resistance to physical attacks. This means they do less damage to you. Some slime: What are base slimes? Zotuki: If you look around you will see slimes of different colors. They are evolved slime. They all start out as you guys. Didn¡¯t he tell me to keep my question to the end and then goes around an answer some random slime question. WTF Zotuki: All monsters start out at a base form. For a monster to evolve they need to get to level 100. After that they will evolve and then start back at level 1. So I got to find a way to stay alive until I get to level 100. Hope that¡¯s not too hard. I really don¡¯t fell like ding again. Eion: So ho¡­ Zotuki: I said keep questions to the end. WTF. This old ass bastard is only acting this way towards me what the fuck I ever do to him. Hum¡­let¡¯s if this works. Eion: Hey, you right in front of me. ???: Name¡¯s Alice. Eion: Well Alice can you ask the teach how do we level up. Alice: Sure. Hey teacher how to we get levels. Zotuki: Ah, good one Alice. To get a level one need to get experience points. There are a few ways to get experience points. One is to kill a monster or human/subhuman. Second is to eat a monster or human/subhuman that was stronger than you. And it experience points are proportional to how much life was still left in the body. So it better if it is still alive when you start eating. And lastly is to rank up any skills you might have. ~Ding~ You got someone to do your bidding +5 charisma Oh shit I can get stats this way too. Let¡¯s try this again. Eion: Psss¡­ you to the right, ask what the skill ranks are. Random Slime: What are the rank of skills? Eion: And how to you rank them up. Random Slime: And how do you rank them up. Zotuki: Skills are ranked as novice, beginner, adapt, expert, master, grand master, and almost godly. To rank them up you got to use them. If you use them in a special way or, let¡¯s say use a fire attack against a slime that skill will rise faster. ~Ding~ You got another idiot to do your bidding +10 charisma ~Ding~ New ability Manipulate Nice I got a skill. I can definitely put this to good use. Zotuki: Ok so let¡¯s get back to how we evolve. All monster evolve like I said. Most monsters have set paths that they evolve into. For base slimes it goes to blue slimes how are good at healing, metal slimes (rare) who are fast and have high defense, and then yellow slimes who are all about speed. There are said to be more evolve paths for base slimes, but no one have ever seen it so most say it¡¯s a myth. Zotuki: There are special evolve paths that will change the kind of monster you are completely. Like going form a slime to a pixie. But they are extremely, extremely rare. If my chance that does happen, that said person will lose all of their slime special skills and gain the special skills for that monster race. Yes this is some good ass news. That means I don¡¯t have to stay as a slime. Go me, go me. Zotuki: Ok little ones this is the last little bit of Slime 101 before you go on your way, how to check your stats. To do this all you have to do is say or think Stat Execute. Now class Dismiss. Man that was long I think I need to go take a walk. My butt fell asleep. Do I even how a butt. While I¡¯m at it mine as well check my stats. Stat Execute ~Ding~ Name: Eion Race: Slime/??? Level: 1 Experience: 0% Class: ??? Title: ??? I can¡¯t even take a hit with that. And my luck why is it -250-250 is that a good thing or bad thing. Eion: Yo, Zotuki my stats look a little crazy my health is only 10 and my luck is -250-250. Zotuki: Pfff¡­ Are you sure your health is only 10 most new born slimes health is around 90-100 health. Eion: Yea I¡¯m sure. Zotuki: Well sorry to tell you this it looks like your one of the ones that is dying this week. And as for your luck. Idk never heard of anything like that. Damn this is bull. I bet that ass of god had something to do with this. Ooooo I want to kill him. Eion: O Zotuki one more thing do monsters have classes. Zotuki: No why do you ask. Eion; O nothing just asking. So if monsters don¡¯t get classes then why do I have a class bar in my stats? ~Ding~ You discovered classes +5 intelligence ~Ding~ You have a class, pick one A big light flashes before my eyes and in find myself in a large white room with pictures floating in the air. Are these the classes I can pick? Let¡¯s see, wow I like this one, o this one two and this one. What should I be; a magic swordsmen, zeno archer, or Exzeno blade. Greet, first I get a class I know nothing about and now I got to follow this metal slime out to go fight. Fuck me, this world must really want me to die. Hum, looks like all of the slimes born with me are coming along too. As we start to move out we come into a big meadow. There are flowers and trees all around, with what looks like wild boars eating the grass. I hope he doesn¡¯t think we are fighting those. No wonder most of us will die within a week. Draco: Ok little ones, do you see those boars go kill em. Eion: Wait what do mean go kill them? I thought you was going teach us. Draco: I am. You go fight. If you live you are taught. If you die, you didn¡¯t learn. That¡¯s all there is to it. What the hell kind of logic is that. We go fight and if we lucky we live. I got to think of a way out of this. There is no way I would live through something like that with only 10hp. Come on think Eion, think. Eion: Hey Draco is there any rules we got to follow while fighting them? Draco: Ha-ha, no why do you ask little one? Good, good. I can work with this. All I got to do is get a few of the slimes to join up with me and do my bidding. Eion: Hey Alice do you want to join up with me, to fight those boars. I don¡¯t think we can fight them one on one. We should also try to get a few more people to make it easier. Alice: Ok. Hold on while I go see if anyone wants to join. Draco: I was told you was a fiery one. So what do you have planned? Eion: O nothing really just getting together some sac¡­friends so that we can fight better. Draco: Ha-ha, I like you can¡¯t wait to see how this unfolds. Alice: Here Eion. These are all the ones that want to help. Good, it seems that about half want to help so let¡¯s see how this unfolds. As I¡¯m thinking this I start to see that the other slimes that didn¡¯t want to help rushing in to fight the boars. The first of the slimes reaches the boar to meet its end on its tusk. The fight didn¡¯t even last for second. Another slime seeing this, decides to jump at the boars back. But somehow his lower end got stuck to the ground and his body made a whip like hit on the boar. O so slimes can stretch our bodies. That good to know. I wonder if I can make my body stretch in different type of ways. ~Ding~ ? New ability ? From watching a slime move and trying it you have learned Body Manipulate Nice this can is going to be fun. Now I got a way to attack from afar. Alice: Eion how did you do that can you teach me? While teaching Alice how to use Body Manipulate the other slimes all started to crowd around us to learn. It ended up turning into a class about how to use it to fight. And I just got to say this, most slimes are dumb as HELL. Aside from Alice and one other slime, they didn¡¯t even know left from their right. Come to think of it why am I so smart compared to them? And Alice for that too. ~Ding~ ? For taking your time to teach fellow slimes you get ? +8 charisma ? +10 intelligence Well that¡¯s some nice stat boosts. Time to formulate a plan on how I¡¯m going to use these guy so that I can get stronger. Eion: Draco is there a way to show someone else your stats? Draco: Sure just say Execute Stat show. Eion: Ok guys can you do what Draco just said. After looking at all the stats it I find out why most of the slime are so stupid. They on average 10 Intel. On another note there are 5 slimes that have high def. and health. 6 that high agility, with one that have extremely high agility. He out strips everyone by a large margin. The rest of the slimes are nobodies. The stats are even across the board. I think the will be good as bait. The other ones I can use to fight. After watching the boars eat for about 30 min. I realize they seem to only be eating the red flowers. Eion: Ok group here¡¯s the plan. You six are going to be a group called tank. Your guys job is to just keep the boars from moving and don¡¯t die. Next are you six. You will be my attack group. I want you to stay back and attack with body manipulate and acid body when I tell you. The rest you will be a group called martyr. Alice: what about me? Also I will need you to pull the slimes back if they get to hurt. As we start the plan I tell the attack group to get up in some of the trees. I then have the Martyr group all grab red flowers and run up to the boars to get their attention. The moment some of the slimes get to the boar they run into its tusk, instead of stopping. They really can¡¯t be that stupid right, right? Good thing there are a lot of them or this plan wouldn¡¯t work. After the rest of the slimes get the attention of the boars like I told them they start to run back to where we were. The only problem they were dying out before they were reaching the spot needed them to be. Eion: Alice go tell the attack team to move up a few trees and be ready. Tank team move out we need to save a fellow brothers and to kill theses boars! Use Body Manipulate to make whips and hold the boars in place! Let¡¯s gooooo! That should get them ready to sacrifice them selves for me. I wonder if any of them will survive this. As the tank group runs up they surprisingly do a good job in holding the boars in place. Out of the slimes I used as bait only 2 are still alive so I have them pull back from the fight. Eion: Ok Alice now! Right at that moment the attack team let loose a barrage of acid filled whips all around the boars. All you could hear where the boar¡¯s squeals filled with heart wrenching pain. After a minute the first of the boars drops almost dead. Sadly one of my tanks die too.That one more people I can''t use, sniff, sniff. After 10 minutes pass all the boars are on the ground dying from all the acid burns abd blood lose. Eion: Ok good job guys all the boars are dead lets go back to the tree. Alice come here for a sec. These dumb ass are all going back to the tree all happy, they don¡¯t even know that they were used. Now all I got to do is eat these boars and level up. Eion: Alice eat up since we didn¡¯t fight, we need to eat to get some exp. ~Ding~ ? Because you got people to do your bidding manipulate skill is upgraded ? Skill is now beginner ~Ding~ because you used manipulate on a large group and made an attack plan new ability unlocked Tactical Mindset-this skill gets a boost from manipulate ~Ding~ ? New skill ? Tactical Kinetic Vision (TKV) - passive gets a boost from agility and intelligence what the hell is TKV? Eion: Draco is there a way to see what a skill does? Draco: Say skill, skill name, and show. Eion: Skill TKV Show ~Ding~ ? Tactical Kinetic Vision ? Slows time down for a set time and allows you to see a variables that deal with trajectory. ? The more agility you have the faster trajectory come to you. ? The more intelligence you have, the better you see how to change/interrupt trajectory O shit this skill is all some. Draco: You¡¯re a good leader. Sneaky, but a good leader. Don¡¯t be surprised if the slimes want to work under you again. ~Ding~ After getting the new skill and looking at what it does me and Alice started to eat the boars. Unfortunately some of the boars died when we were talking so I didn¡¯t get much from them. So didn¡¯t get much exp from them. But from the three that were alive I ended up leveling 15 levels. I also upgraded memory eat by 46% and dissolve by 70%. From memory eat I got the abilities , and . I also got a layout of a 3 mile radius of the area where are at right now. In this area the tree we slimes stay are and the home of the boars are included, along with the territory of other monsters. After testing out the skills I got from the boars Draco, Alice, and I start to walk back to the tree. On the way back it acurrs to me that I mines as well ask Draco if he knows about half breeds. And how there are made. It turns out that all humanoid monsters can have a half breed with humans/sub-humans. I asked him if he has ever heard of a humanoid slime buy he said no. But if the gods wanted it to happen he didn¡¯t see why not. He then started to tell me about how a hundred thousand years ago a God gave all the strongest monster tribes humanoid bodies. But after that those humanoid forms became their base forms or the evolved into beast-men. ? ~Ding~ You have found a hint about your true nature ?
