Looking at my beginner clothings I gave out a sigh, as they were tattered to the point that I wondered if I should just remove it and walk around naked. Trying to look up at the tall structure I struggled as it felt that my neck would break if I tried more than necessary. Hah¡­ I breathed out that created a white fog at front of my mouth and soon after I took a heavy sniff in through the nose to smell the air of the surroundings. A rustic, coaly and the soothing smell of the forest could be smelled as I shook my head in delight of the Second World. Ah, nothing beats the taste of the fresh air and moisture of this world¡­ Anyways, I need to find some directions and the first thumb rule is to find a citizen. Well lets ask a gua... ¡°Watch out! Instinctively using my skill ¡°dodge¡± as a rogue, I instead stumbled backwards into the cold and deep snow next to a tree that unexpectedly covered my whole body. AH! I forgot that this is a new toon! Argh Cold!! ¡°SPLACK!¡± ¡°Splinter!¡± ¡­ A tiny drop of sweat, ran from my forehead to my neck even though it was deadly cold as I sat there in the depths of the snow. That... Was way too CLOSE! If I had just stood there, when I did¡­ I trembled.

It was a blue and white checkered tabard with a fort icon at the middle as did his shield. So that¡¯s where I am¡­ Far to the north of Wintergrasp. Where the citizens battle against the cold but beautiful snow as the white clouds above passed by. ¡°Are you alright son!?¡± The old man worriedly asked as he checked my body and brushed off the remaining snow that I couldn¡¯t do without help. ¡°Ah, yeah! Thanks for the warning... Sir¡± ¡°Ahh good, let me show you inside my home as a way to beg for my forgiveness¡± ¡°After all you must be cold right with those clothings?¡± He added and gripped my hand and forcefully dragged me through the shoe sized snow on the road.

Looking at them I noticed that they were a bit too well equipped to be in a beginner zone. Are they trying to scam the penniless newbies? Equipping the new set of armor made out of leather, I saw that Douglas smiled happily as he snuggled with the bag of gold¡­ Addiction is coming, I believed firmly. ¡°Douglas, lets go¡± ¡°Yeees!¡± ¡­ Walking off the snowy cobblestone road through a snowy path surrounded by the cold trees to a lumber mill with a herd of Black fluffy Winter oxes nearby, it looks like have finally arrived after at least an hour of walking. Looking at the excited Douglas I asked ¡°So¡­ When do we start?¡±. ¡°Ah, well I am gonna go and get my equipment inside the house, just start chopping every tree with a cross on it ¡± He said and ran to the lumbermill. ¡°DO IT AT THE CROSSES Also!¡± He yelled from afar and went ¨ªnside the house. ¡°Okay¡­¡± I said as I walked towards a tall and thick tree near the lumber mill that had a cross. Meanwhile, those that wasn¡¯t a player killer, lost at least 1 item, but had a strong chance to lose more. Unless the killer bought an expensive scroll that allowed them to loot everything. Oh well, this is also one of the the reason or rather a small one why most players like this game. The unexpected can happen! Ahah! A rope and a strong thread of garn! I found in the room above the barn without Douglas noticing me¡­ Pfft.. He wouldn¡¯t mind¡­ Surely not? I ran back out of the barn, sat on a nearby cold and snowy stone and tightly tied the strong thread from the garn around the lower end of the shaft for a better grip and to create a loop for the rope without puncturing a hole on the shaft. If I did. The chances is that I would have to chop the trees bare handed¡­ I shivered thinking about it. Sticking the thumb sized rope into the loop and tied it on the rope itself. I have now created my Lazy Steel Axe!

Lucky me I guess. Thumb rule nr 6, try to face 1 enemy at a time. Moving to the left side of my enemies so that the second skeleton was forced to stay behind the one next to him, the oxes shivered behind me as I raised my axe and chopped the wooden buckler that cracked but deflected my attack. With my steel axe in the air, the skeleton counterattacked with his chipped iron sword by raising it to the air for a slash. Instinctively, I tried to kick the skeleton in the torso, covered by a broken chestpiece so that I could knock it back before taking damage.

¡­ Really, the trio couldn¡¯t name the dungeon they discovered first better? As I walk inside the large hole on the icy mountain with my flickering torch. I can hear the dripping sound of a water drop echoing throughout the cavern to the outside. After a while of walking in the chilly air with dead corpses of skeletons, I stumbled into a crossroad of 5 tunnels¡­ A eerie breeze blew past me. Looking around searching for clues where the others went, I could find nothing, other than that everything was really dark and a few puddles here and there. Sigh¡­ Standing here won''t help, at least I should mark the way I walk in case it¡¯s a maze. Cutting the end of my rope, I hid it on the far left tunnel and went inside. ¡­ After a while of walking I could hear a few skeletons around the corner. Of course they noticed me immediately, as my torch illuminated the surrounding blue ice that reflected it even further. Getting into battle stance I battled my way through with my left hand holding the torch. Oddly every skeleton I whacked with my steel axe, instantly splintered into bones¡­ Did the snow that reached my waist affect me that much before? With a meh, I put it back into my inventory before climbing further. As I got out of what seemed like the end of a tunnel, a bright light blinded me as I covered my eyes with my bracers. Not only that, I could hear screams from below that made me immediately stop on my tracks. ¡°AAAAhhh! Ruuun Igmar!¡± ¡°SHUT UP! Still, they were pretty far away though¡­ And there they vanished into the ice door of the arena together with the ice yeti... But, what happened to the bait? ¡°Sniff¡± Heh, what a blessing¡­ The heavy atmosphere of fresh air¡­ As the storm lingered below, the atmosphere above was perfectly clear. Swimming my way out, I could finally inhale the air heavily. ¡­ So this is how those suffocating in snow felt like in their last moment, a cold tremble ran through my spine as I equipped my shield. Brushing my armor off from the snow, I went inside the ice coliseum. Walking through the historic corridor with a few broken ice statues and those not, probably because of the yeti since the corridor wasn¡¯t that big, around 3 meters at least. From what I saw outside, the yeti must be at least 4 and a half. Following the broken path and jumping over a few ice obstacles from the broken wall or floor, I noticed that I stepped on a dead body. Igmar was it? Trying to loot everything on the dead body, I noticed that I couldn¡¯t¡­ He doesn¡¯t have the player killer mark anymore, I was lucky that I didn¡¯t kill the other guy before. At least I obtained 1 gold¡­ He won¡¯t be missing it, hehehe¡­

And there it lies, a sleeping giant, a white fluffy yeti on the middle of the room. Cuddling with the icy floor and snow. I turned around towards Douglas, grabbed him and said ¡°Okay Douglas. There is a staircase upwards starting from the right side of the tunnel exit. We will escape quietly upwards and avoid the sleeping lion at the middle¡± He nodded. ¡°Lets go, don¡¯t forget to check where you walk¡± ¡­ As we tried to escape upwards towards the blue sky. Climbing the icy and thin staircase stuck to the wall towards the sky. Looking upwards, the height should be around 100 meters. Currently we were at around 30 meters, as we kept climbing slowly. Piercing the sharp end of my ice axe into the icy wall. I slowly stopped my acceleration and jumped off the wall to land on the icy platform. But why wasn¡¯t the Yeti attacking me when I am vulnerable? Luckily, I have the barbarian armor that is perfect against a Ice yeti or whatever it is called. ¡­ I have to use physical damage against this creature and avoid physical damage itself... And at front of me stands a fierce fluffy and broad giant Yeti, glaring at me with red eyes. Yepp¡­ I am totally screwed. ¡°Diamond, cover his eyes with the lowest mana cost spell if he gets near me! ¡°Roger, that could cost 5 mana for a tiny cloud¡± I¡¯ll have to use my size and range to my advantage! Raising the axe above my head, I threw it towards the Yeti, that only scratched its pelt¡­ ¡°ROOOAR!¡± It charged towards me. ¡°Axe!¡± I said and it returned back to my grip. ¡°Diamond!¡± ¡°Working on it¡± As a chilly cloud, blinded its eyes, it started to swing its arm confusingly everywhere at front of it. Running to another spot further away so that the Yeti wouldn¡¯t hit me with a lucky swing. I kept throwing the axe at it, as I kited the boss. Yeah, hit and run. Concentrating my throws on one of the legs, I wanted to cripple it, so I could use my weapon throw to my advantage. After a while, the right leg started to bleed, the Yeti crouched angrily trying to soothe his leg, breathing a sudden [Snow Breath] around everywhere in the arena because it was blinded.

Taking my chance I took a health potion and went into melee against the Yeti that seemed to be stuck with its head in the wall.

It roared and the arms that was trying to get the head out, swung instead at the rear. Jumping out of the way, the hand of the yeti barely scratched me, but still I flew a few meters landing with my back onto the icy platform gliding my way to the wall.

Throwing my axes for a while as the Yeti used [Snow Breath] around it confusingly, it started to bleed at every part of its body. ¡°Master bad news, you are soon out of mana!¡± Ah crap, nodding as I kept throwing my axes, I tried to hit as many as possible instead of going for the critical hits. Better safe than sorry. Soon after what I feared happened.

Quickly dodging by running, it kept using the spell as I ran for my dire life back towards the platform. Staph! Suddenly a icebolt covered my vision of the background, accelerating quickly towards my eyes. Kicking the icy wall, I landed on the platform and rolled around to limit my fall damage taken.

Bend it to your Will ¡°Awesome¡­¡± Trying to grip the weapon, I couldn¡¯t. It wasn¡¯t there, my palm was empty, my weapon disintegrated into vapor. A shadow covered my body, protecting me from the weakened confused Yeti, it hovered over the air as we speak with the help of Diamond. Quickly I drank my remaining health potions and helped her push the ice shield that protected me into the wounded Yeti. Yeah, that¡¯s right. If she shares my stats, that means she has the same amount of strength I do¡­ Never underestimate those tiny pets...

No, I can¡¯t end it like this, I needed something stronger, something that packs more impact, something heavy¡­ Yes¡­ I want a gigantic axe. With my will, the cold and chilly air surrounded the axe, the axe grew so large, that it was the three times my size as I held it upwards the air, bearable able to balance it, Diamond flew to the top of the edge with a smile. Heh, call me the duo executioner¡­ ¡°CHOP!¡±

Last and not least¡­ A blue scarf with the Winter¡¯s Hold decorated design to it¡­ It was really hard to throw the large axe with the gigantic bear pauldrons¡­ Finally a way to throw it without breaking my posture. This will increase my throw speed tremendously¡­ But.. ¡°No helmets?¡± ¡°No¡­¡± ¡°...¡± ¡°What if I get hit on the head?¡± ¡°... The scarf is enchanted to protect the head. Nice¡­ Even though their leader was a douche, there is at least someone with skills. ¡°BACK ROW FIRE AT WILL!¡± The tone of the same person shouted, with inspiration, Arrows, firebolts, ice bolts, all sorts of artillery attacks crashed onto the Diablox, critically hitting him since he was toppled over. Even the healers sent their holy arrows against the creatures, since the vanguard did a good job tanking the creature that tried to use brute force to bash them away¡­ It would have worked if the players didn¡¯t work in harmony, but they did. The vanguard blocked together, the healers healed them when they took damage¡­ Diablox now in panic tried to back away. Showing its back as it ran into the shadows, the players quickly took the chance to do the extra damage as it did. ¡°FOLLOW!¡± the same person ordered us once again. As we did¡­ I noticed that the Npcs stood there quiet¡­ What¡¯s going on? No.. I must help with the boss¡­ Running with my party towards the other players, we quickly cornered the Diablox that now had two other Diabloxs as allies against a wall. The other difference is that they now had a weird burning line shared to one another. ¡°WE HAVE AT LEAST 4 GROUPS, LEFT SIDE TAKE THE LEFT ONE, RIGHT SIDE, RIGHT BOSS, MIDDLE THE WOUNDED!!¡± ¡°DPS TARGET THE WOUNDED!¡± Heh¡­ He is good, Veteran raid leader? I kinda feel guilty for kill stealing now¡­ Just like that, The vanguard and healers split up against the three Diabloxs that had a hard time against the heavily armed Tanks that kept getting healed, but drained the mana out of the healers. A few minutes later, we had finally killed the trio bosses¡­ Everyone now sitting on the floor out of fatigue as they shared the drop of the boss and threw potions around, I started to clap... ¡°Sorry guys, I might have been a douche for kill stealing before¡­Besides, you guys got all the loot anyways... Looking back to see what they were up to. it seems like a combo attack with around 10 players casting a giant cosmetic meteorite¡­ Oh, their party saved their points for a combo attack¡­ ¡°Distract the enemy while our members cast the Combo Attack!¡± Frank said. Oh, it was him before¡­ Quickly the vanguard formed up and jumped to the first platform and the second that was about to circle to the front. Archers started to rain down arrows to cripple the soldiers as they hit their knees. But the demon soldiers didn¡¯t want to end it like that, their 8 cavalry charged as their own archers fired their own arrows over them towards us. ¡°Clerics! The Holy barrier whenever the arrows comes!¡± A gigantic and round yellowish and thin barrier made out of hexagons appeared at front of me, no at front of everyone, deflecting the thousand arrows as the Cavalry jumped over with the black horses that left a burning trail as they shattered the barrier into pieces and took positions where the tank were. ¡°Tanks! Taunt them!¡± Frank said, and those with shields split up evenly to protect the group against the 8 cavalries as the caster at the platform near the dead end loaded the meteorite. ¡°Diamond fight for me, I can¡¯t use my cold air with the other players!¡± I said and she started to hover around blasting the horses with ice bolts barrage that pierced the air. Glancing everywhere to see if anyone need help, I took my cold toothpick and ran toward a horse, pricking it with the edgy part of my axe. ¡°What the hell?¡± A heavily geared tank asked confusingly as he fought the cavalry at front of him fiercely with a tower shield as the horse stepped on it, leaving a burning shoe mark. ¡°Shut up!¡± I said, face burning and kept pricking the distracted horse on the ass together with other melee players.

Crap! I can make it! But I can¡¯t keep my freaking balance with the freaking moving platforms! Crawling as I created pools of sweat on the platform that steamed into the thin air, My armor started to burn in heat as I kept moving to the edge. Standing up, I jumped to the next platform where the magicians where. ¡°TANKS?!¡± Frank worriedly said ¡°We can¡¯t move! Platform moving too fast!¡± One said struggling with a tower shield against the cavalry unaffected by the speed. As I stood my ground protecting the magicians, the large group of demon soldiers jumped to the air. Looking at them as my heart went DOKI DOKI DOKI, I trembled, I grinned, I could count that they were 10, I said ¡°Diamond!!¡±. ¡°[NIFELHEIM]!¡± A sudden breeze took over everything, stopping the platforms as if time had stopped itself, crystalised frost covered everything, even players, even the lava. The world was covered in white and black. This only lasted a split second. Axe GROW! Swinging my toothpick that took form of a gigantic axe that made me lose my posture I slammed the incoming soldiers with a heavy feeling that made me lose my breath into the wall. ¡°CRASH!¡± Splinters of the earthy wall flew onto my armor with a few small clangs. Giving a thumbsup to Frank, he smiled as I had saved the casters.
