Part 1
Hello my name is Alex
While I am lying on the floor of a cell with fatal wounds waiting for my death, I was hoping you would listen to my story for a while.
My life started quit normal in a middle class family in a small town close to the border of one of the few empires on the content, it was the kind of town you would never know of unless you had family there ore lived nearby, my life was pretty good because I had a loving mother and father.
our village was close to a few ruins of an ancient and advanced civilisation, I loved exploring the ruins sins I was small even if it was dangers because of the unstable ruins and the monster and when my father and mother found out they was very mad (mostly because they were worried) but I loved exploring it so much made a compromise, my mother would teach me magic an my father swordsmanship and hand to hand combat.
As the years passed I became a lot better at it and kept exploring the ruins furred, one day I came upon a room with a glowing orb I touched it and I had a scrap pain in my head and learned a lot about the ancient language and after that I started reading the glyphs and ancient records.
Meanwhile a large war started between the empires what the official reason was for the war I never knew, the real reason was more ore les this: the emperors and nobility wanted power resources an slaves for work al to enhance their already astronomical wealth they were all idiots!
Because our village was close to the border our village was one of the first to be raided, it happened while we were sleeping without any warning the village was attacked. I woke up with the smell of burning houses and screaming people, father took his sword an mother her wand and then a group of soldiers came to our house an started fighting my parents they ad amour and where with a lot more even if my father and mother where strong an could kill a lot they were with a thousand soldiers an totally prepend to fight, my mother said to run to me and I did because even if I had been fully prepared to fight I was nowhere a strong an army I hated myself for running but still I ran.
I ran to the ruins and hid no one knows the ruins better than me and when the soldiers came looking for me they could not find me, after that I watch the village from my hiding spot I saw a lot of the men being slaughtered the women being raped and the kids and the men left rounded up the next morning the soldiers left with the villagers that where left alive in chains probably to be sold.
After a few days a came out of my hiding spot an searched the village buried the dead and took any useful things that were left and went to a nearby city what I saw there was horrible, I found out that our army did the exact same ting the last few days and did not care about our village at all. After that I started traveling the land seeing many horrible things and some good while reading useful books when I had the chance and worked her and there and also travelled from ruin to ruin picking up useful information and skills that went on for a couple of years.
Part 2
When I was 20 I had heard rumours about an unexplored ruin and went there and there was a small relatively new village of war victims and I started living there as physician an researcher of the ruins. And then I started research to obtain the technology and magic of the ancients, I thought that the war would stop is there was enough resources for everyone, so I started learning and I discovered amazing things like how to build a space craft an origin magic and the integration of magic in technology through things like soul stones, soul stones where quite useful because they gadder mana themselves through getting mana out the air or if you supply liquid mana like fuel It would go a lot faster, well the better the soul stone the more mana it could store and the more mana it could channel through it. Because of all the knowledge I became really strong at about every kind of magic and expanded my mana capacity or souls space a more or less immeasurable amount.

One day after a few peaceful years in the village some travellers came (or so I thought) they asked if they could stay for the night and I agreed and in the evening I went to sleep. The next time I woke up I was in a cell with a magic sealing ruin engraved on the ground that I developed. After about an hour a big fat man came in and introduced himself as the emperor and said that he heard about my research, I asked where I was, he sad that I was in a prison deep in a mountain fortress, after that he thanked me for my work and said that I did a great service to my country in a more ore les sarcastic tone.
He said that he kidnaped me because he did not want that my research would fall in to the ¡°wrong hands¡± Then he said that if I helped him with a lot of weapons he would give me a title and a lot of money, after that I told him that I did not want that to happen with my research and that it was for the progress of all the races so that everyone could have a nice life and no slaves where necessary and that I would not help him develop weapons . The emperor laughed in my face and said that I was na?ve and told the guards to take care of me then he left.
in the right hands my research can bring a Golden age like we have never seen before, but in the wrong hands my research can bring an age of ruin and death.
In the next few years the war went from bad to worse in the beginning my research had helped the emperor¡¯s army a lot but after the first year the other empires stole the research from this emperor and all the other empires made their own weapons with it and like kids playing with a rocket launcher it went wrong. After a few one of the empires was driven to the brink and then apocalypse happened they fired some kind of nuclear weapons in their final revenge and that made a chain reaction occur and all the other empires did the same and about 90% of all the living sentient beings where wiped out and the rest had to deal with radiation an ach clouds in the sky that blocks out almost all of the sun.
(meanwhile I was 26 and locked up and followed that news by listening to the guards speaking I also honed my hand to hand skills and while I could not use magic under influence I still trained it through meditation.)
A few days after the apocalypse the emperor stormed in with a few guards and was enraged and was screaming from the top of his lungs that is was all my fault and that he lost everything that if I hadn¡¯t existed everything would have gone well, after that to bring his ¡°Tools¡± after that he began torturing me some of the guards had pity in their eyes some hate but they did noting, I did my best not to scream and I did not because is partially disconnected my mind from my body with a meditation technique, after not screaming for hours he finely left me to die.
An so in my final moments I did not know what to think of the emperor, hate? Because he stole my research, locked me up and torched me?, pity? Because he lost everything and his stupidity? Or shame for myself? Because I brought the advanced technology that destroyed the ancients back in the world?.
And so I sat there with a mixture of emotions and when everything was getting white while I thought to myself that I knew one thing for sure if I by any strange twist of fate would get a second chance, I would do totally different never again would I let my work destroy the world, never again would I let corrupt nobles and crazy emperors ruin the lives of the people the rule for their own selfish reasons, never again would I there be slavery and rape, never again would I leave the destiny of myself to chance and stay on the background I would do something, never again¡.

Part 1
Everything was white but after a I felt that I was in a warm and comfortable place with a strange but comforting ba-dum sound in the background, I was wondering what was going on and after some thinking I came to the conclusion that I was in the belly of somebody after that I lost consciousness.
The next time I woke up I was feeling movement and heard some people speaking in a strange language and I realised I was being born
(Translated)Maid: ¡°push madam push!¡±
I heard a scream and then I saw a blinding light
(Translated)Maid: ¡°madam she is a beautiful girl¡±
(Translated)Mother: ¡°please give her to me¡±
after my eyes adjusted I was in arms of a beastwomen in a maid outfit and I was being held and was handed over to another (quite beautiful) women with pointy horns on her head and a loving look in her eyes after she took me in her arms I thought that this women must be my mother, then I heard the door being open with a bang and a man (with also horns and a lizard like tail) came storming in and he was saying something very loudly.
(Translated)Father: ¡°I heard our baby was coming and I came as fast as I could!¡±
(Translated)Mother: ¡°you are a bit to late but our baby is a beautiful and healthy baby girl¡±

After my mother and father where done talking an I had learned my new name I fell asleep.
When I woke up I started going over the things I knew and I came to the conclusion that I for some kind of reason I had reincarnated, I was thinking what I should do now and came to the conclusion that I wanted to lead a better life than my past one and make the world a better and happier place and for now I will start by learning the new language.
Part 2
In the first month of my life I spend a lot of time with my new mother who took me through the castle and the gardens. I also started using magic to strengthen my body with that I mean permeant enhancement of my body it costs a lot of mana and time but it will be worth it. I also collected information about what my current situation is and I learned a few things about me and my family.
The first is that my parents are of royal or noble standing because we live in a castle in a big city and there are a lot of guards.
The second that this worlds technological an magical advancement is kind of the same as the world in my first life (before I came).
The third thing is that I am a girl with white hair and blue eyes at first I was kind of shocked but I decided that I have to live with it honestly I was already reincarnated asking for more is just plain bad (well at least I look good)
Part 3
In this year I learned how to speak and have a good understanding how to read this worlds language.
I started exploring alone because having someone follow me all the time was a border if I wanted to experiment with my magic alone it would be strange if a bay of 6 months old could do advanced magic so to get privacy I sunk away almost every day on the first few days everyone was worried but after a that everyone gave up because they could not find me anyway and I would always return before diner so there was no need to worry. I also found out that my father is called Wilhelm and my mother Acholate.
In that year I picked up some more information by listening to conversations and my little adventures.
The first is that (thank goodness) my magic works perfectly.
The second is that I am from are clan that are the descends of dragons and with a lot of training I can unlock the first stage of my dragon from with a moonstone and that there are even more stages the first stage is the only one that has been confirmed.
Level 1 - Be born:

The third are things about this new world and its surroundings I the things I found out so far are that there are to moons and one sun, one of moons has as far as I can see an atmosphere and some greenery and the other moon is like a glowing ball of lava with some land and during the night it glows in the sky. What I found out about this world is that there is an inner and outer world.
the inner world when I say inner world I mean the ¡°safe¡± zone that has almost only weak monsters and very few medium to strong ones and is largely inhabitant by humanoids of different races like dwarfs, elf¡¯s, Human, beast men, demons there are probably more but I do not know at this moment. The races in the inner world are at war with each other for most of the time they all have their own ¡°Nobel¡± reasons but the main reason is mostly the same as in my old world they are fighting for slaves resources and power.
The outer world I very dangers because there are very strong monsters and they only get stronger the deeper you go why the monster do not come in the inner word nobody knows but I think it is because there is a lot more mana in the environment and that the monsters like it and grow stronger because of it. There are also a lot of resources in the ground in the outer world that have never been mined because of the monsters and other dangers.
And that brings me to the fourth thing I have learned and that is that my father is the king of a small kingdom that is at the edge of the inner world an over that means that it is dangerous but my father and his men are strong. Because of the kingdom expanding in the wilderness there are a lot of resources in the kingdom that are relatively safe to mine and that¡¯s why the kingdom has been prosperous but in recent years because of the increase in fighting in a large part of the inner world a lot of refugees has been coming to our country because we don¡¯t discriminate and do not allow slavery and because of that the financial situation has been getting worse. My parents recognize that it is not the fault of the refugees that they have lost almost everything and my parents try to help as best as the can and they are well loved because of it but stilt the country will eventually break if it keeps going in this direction.
I have also met my grandma(Helenia), uncle(Abarden), aunt(Melisande) and a good friend/general of my father(Kenshin). My grandma helps managing the kingdom and my uncle and aunt rule our country¡¯s second biggest city that seems to be an academy city where in normal times people from all over the world come to study. But now there are only few students that come from other countries and all of them come from country¡¯s that are like we are neutral in the war. And final my father¡¯s friend and general who helps my father mange the army and is the strongest swordsman in the country, he is high ranking cosmos sword stile user (later when I asked where the name cosmos came from my father said that our ancestor came up with it but what my father had no idea what it means) he also seems to be a very rough man but also very nice under that. but I have also seen him train the soldiers and because I was very scared of him after that because his training regime is imposable most of the soldiers fail at the first step and the rest don¡¯t last long after that, the worst of it was that he saw me watching his training once and came walking over and asked if I wanted him to teach me sword fighting later(I was 7 months at the time and still had to pretend not to be able to speak) I shacked no with my head as fast as I could but he stead: ¡°you want to right, yea you want it why else would you be watching, OK! I start teaching you when you are strong enough!¡± and then he smiled and walked away while laughing and the maid behind me looked at me with pity in her eyes.

Part 4
Two years old
In the past year I started talking, explored the castle and reading books lots of books. While exploring the castle I found some interesting things, by using some magic I found a lot hidden passageways and hidden rooms of with most of them seem to been forgotten over the long history of this castle and when I say long I mean long I found out that this castle had multiple rulers that where overthrown by the next and each one of them added their own hidden rooms and passageways, most of the rooms where empty but some had a few gold coins, some dusty books and a few old paintings.
One day I found something interesting it was a hidden room in the central part of the castle and there was a shaft that went straight down and it looked like some kind of old elevator shaft and the elevator appeared to be broken and because of that I flew down with magic what I found was a room that appeared to be a study it had some books alchemy, equipment and a desk and because I needed some place to practise my magic an experiment uninterrupted I was delighted when I found this room, I decided to make this my secret workplace in the castle, I made some extra rooms for a library/vault to read and store valuables, a alchemy room for alchemy and extracting liquid mana, a workshop for inversions and machines, and lastly a training room for magic experimentation and body training. I also repair the elevator and connected a lot of the tunnels to the hidden room with the shaft to make some sort of hub now I could disappear and appear almost everywhere in the castle (sometimes a maid freaked out when I appeared out of nowhere it was hilarious).
And so the year went by while reading books, exploring the castle, training and I also discreetly helped my father with his work a bit he found it strange at first and he spoke about it while we were eating (which made me silently laugh a bit) but after a while he accepted it he still checked it of course but it helped him a lot.
Part 5
Three years old
I spent most the past year reading, exploring, helping father, experimenting/inverting and upgrading my secret workplace with an underground garden for plants and extra air.
When I was 2 and a half years old my father arranged for some tutors to come I told father that I already knew match and magic and also have a basic understanding of history he was surprised when I said that and he let some tutors the court magician come to test me, after the tests all the teachers were shocked and tod my father what heaped I more or less aced the match test, I used magic without incantations, and knew almost everything that was needed in history class, and they all said that I was a genius my father and mother where shocked and asked me how I did it and I told him that I learned it from books he was silent for a moment and after that they embraced me and told me that they were very proud. After that it was decided that I only had to take classes for manners and dancing(which was annoying but needed) after a month of a happy and peaceful life Kenshin came by and when he heard about my classes he talked to father and mother.
Kenshin: ¡°because she is so smart she has a lot of time and being smart is good and all but she will still need to be able to defend herself and lead the army and that¡¯s why I will teach her the cosmos sword stile play and the art of war¡±
Father: ¡°I agree but you do know that your teaching methods are kind off inhuman right?¡±
Kenshin: ¡°yes I know but it is not like she is human and I promises I will go a bit easy on her¡±
Father: ¡°I still do not really like letting you teach my daughter but I know it is necessary and the sooner the better so I will let you do it because you are my good friend and I trust you, but make sure that noting bad will happen to her are we clear!¡±
Kenshin: ¡°yes, yes! I understand you completely and I promises I will protect her!¡±
Father: ¡°okay Kyna I know Kenshin¡¯s trading will be hard but you must learn to defend yourself even in a situation without magic¡±
And after that Kenshin ran off and screamed he had to prepared some things and that I had to come to the training court at 5:30 in the morning, and that is the story about how I was doomed.

No no no I am joking but I know I will probably be trained till I am half dead and beyond everyday till I am strong enough well noting I can do about it and it will be necessary so I will do it even if I am scared when I am even thinking about what kind of inhuman training he will put me through.
Part 5
The next morning I woke up on 5 o¡¯clock and dressed in a strong and easy to move in pair of training clothes then ate and went to the training court where Kenshin was waiting for me with a (evil) smile on his face and something under a large blanked behind him.
Kenshin: ¡°a princes you are here¡±
Kyna: ¡°hello Kenshin or do I have to call you master now?¡±
Kenshin: ¡°as long as you work hard it does not matter to me, so todays planning is a good workout in the morning starting with running 3 laps around the castle after that you will do 100 punch-ups, 75 sit ups, 50 pull ups and 750 sword swing and after that we will use this for learning to doge¡±
After he explained his murders and crazy morning exercise schedule I was so happy I have been enhancing and strengthening my body for the past years of my new life. And when he pulled away the blanked of the thing behind him I was stupefied what was there was some kind of training/torcher machine that you would only hear about in fictional story¡¯s it was a magical powered machine that would swing swords and other objects at you and the more magic power you put in it the faster it goes at that moment I am beginning to think that he wants to kill me!
Kenshin: ¡°it is cool right I have been building it for you since the time that I promised that I would teach you, well moving on after using the training machine we will be sparing foe an hour and you will be training your body armouring magic or Fighting spirit whatever you like to call it today I will test you current strength level in the afternoon you will be having classes and also my art of war class and in the evening you will be doing another 750 sword swings and do not forget to keep flexible OKAY start¡±
Yes he definitely wants to kill me!

Chapter 2
Part 1
Six years old
The past 3 years have been hard, the training with Kenshin became more and more brutal at first it was still manageable because of the fact that I had been strengthening my body through infusing mana in myself and because my huge soul space I had enough mana to easily use fighting spirit and to fully heal myself and that meant that no matter how hard I trained one day after a night of sleep I was top shape again that may have sounded great but when Kenshin noticed it he started training me twice as hard he even gave me a sort of gravity magic suit that increases weight and inhibits movement and increases with the level of strength that I have and, we even had to reinforce the furniture so I can sit or sleep on it because he has ordered me to keep it on at all times well luckily he teaches me a technique to spread my wait over a bigger surface area otherwise I would have sunk in to the ground by now.
Of course training was not the only thing that I have done the past three years, I have also been helping dad doing his work but now with him knowing I think that he has guessed that it was me helping him when I was still doing it secretly but he does not ask about it, I guess that he is just happy that I am helping him. Well in the past few years I gave my father some ideas that would make the financial situation a bit better it is just a stopgap solution but I will hold for about 15 to 20 years and in that time I will have most likely solves the problem.
I have also secretly explored the city surrounding the castle it was quite easy to sneak out with my sneaking skills plus most of the former rulers/residents of the castle have made escape passage or two and I have connected most of them to the hub room and of course I have made some modifications to the passageways so that no one but those I want to can sneak in or out of the castle it would be dangerous if enemy¡¯s could sneak in the kings/queens bedroom while they were sleeping and while modifying that tunnel I found out that my parent are working on making me a big sister and they told me a few weeks ago that my mother was pregnant well it will take about two a three years because we are from a long living species my mother told me that she is about 250 years old and my father around 270 she also told me that normally someone from our clan lives to be a 1000 but those talented in magic live much longer and that means that I have more than enough time to do whatever I want. Now I am speaking about our clans longevity I have to mention that 2 of my grandparents are still alive my grandma from my father¡¯s side is helping my father rule and my grandpa and grandma from my mother¡¯s side are traveling the world, as for my other grandpa he when he was about a hundred years old when our country lost its greatest fortress in the north.
but I digress I was speaking about the city well the city is in quite a good shape for a country that has financial problems even the beggars are given food there is also bit of slums on the outskirts of the city but the area if far from lawless even if there are some thieves the only real problem was a mafia group that kidnaped some people to sell as slaves in other countries and when I heard of then I discreetly took care of them with a bit of magic, in the centre of the city was the adventures guild a few shops and a marked place. The adventurer¡¯s guild in our country is pretty good and the have some high ranking adventures because of our country partially being in the outer world there is some good work for them. I also bout some interesting books and a crude map of the known world.
Map description: the inner world alone is already about 3 times bigger then what the ancients called earth sized and who knows how big the outer world is well I now know how our position in the world is. We are in the north west of the inner world, and our country is the only country on this continent of the inner world that connects with the other world. Our country is divided in 5 parts, 3 of these parts are controlled by the high nobles of our country form the biggest city in their territory.

one of the parts is controlled my aunt and uncle and they control the South west from the academy/trade city by the ocean.
The middle part of our country is controlled directly by the royal family and all the noble families and my aunt and uncle swear fealty to the royal family.
The north: of our country there is a giant wall that is 50 meters high and 15 meters wide at the top and 20 and the bottom, there are also multiple forts. The wall was built by the first ruler from our clan be build it so that the lands in the north would be safe from the monsters and the wall remained unbroken till about 500 years ago. The wall was broken by gigantic wyverns that came from far in the outer world they took over the greatest fortress in our country that was our main defence from the outer world. This fortress was a more or less circle of mountains that acted as walls and in the middle there was a big training centre and also barracks for about 50% of the troops that defended the wall. The situation in the north right now is that a big part of the wall that was close to the mountain was destroyed and can¡¯t be repaid because the constant monster attacks and the fact that the wyverns have taken the mountain as their home and breading ground and attack anything that comes close. There are also two big cities in the north and they now house the solders that defend the northern lands and the undamaged parts of the wall. The cities are in the North West and the north east and of course there are also some villages but all of them are well defended because the increased risk of monster attacks.
The east: for the most part of the eastern border there is an ocean and bordering the southernmost part of the eastern border there is another wall and the country that is past the border is our ally, the country of Yuyasil from what I hear it is a beautiful and heavily forested country ruled by high elves (not the haughty kind but the nice ones). Our country and theirs have been ally¡¯s sins the formation of our kingdom and the relationship is very good.
The south: following the southern border there is a wall that continues from the wall of the west and heads in to the west till it hits the ocean. In the south east and west are two more city¡¯s where about 50% of our active army is stationed they are there in case the conflict of the bordering countries of Oneutharia (in the east) and Ufsemus (in the west) spreads. These two countries are at constant war with each other. The main reason is that they are differed races and that they serve differed gods well that is not entirely true for instance in our country there are multiple races and religions, and were are living more or less peacefully. So I think that kings and nobles are the biggest reason for the war. This war is of course not the only war going on, on the continent but it is the closed. Of course it is not like every single king, Nobel of lord wants war there are a good number of countries that are neutral or have been forced in to the war. Plus the citizens are mostly also forced or brainwashed with propaganda and story¡¯s about how evil there enemy is. Our country I mostly safe because even if we have a lot of neutral resources we still are partially in the other world and more or less are the defenders of the inner world it would be bad if we are attacked it would mean that our defences would be weakened and that creatures from the outer world would flood the inner world and nobody wants that. But still we can¡¯t let our guard down because even if no one has attacked so far it duos not mean that it will stay that way.
The west: the western border bordering another ocean and there is also the academia city of my aunt and uncle that has a lot of trade by sea.
Central: in the centre of our country is our capital that more or less acts as a hub for trading and information while the capital has seen better days it still prospers. There is also a lot of farmland and it is more or less the Breadbasket of our country and while there is a lot of production the last few years it became harder to supply enough food because to the amount refugees and after I found out I had my father implement crop rotation and the use of seaweed as fertiliser (the fields do stink a bit now) and after a year or two everyone was using is and the food problem is solved.

Part 2
Today I am going to have a ranking battle with Kenshin to determine my level of ranking. Ranking levels are normally determent by the states plate that everyone gets at six years old but Kenshin likes to test his students because then he can really recognize the level of his student, well that is what he said that his reason was but I think he just wants a reason to seriously fight till his opponent can¡¯t stand anymore. Well one way or the other the titles for
Ranking are like this:
Cosmos Sword Beginner.
Cosmos Sword Intermediate.
Cosmos Sword Advance.
Cosmos Sword Saint.
Cosmos Sword King.
Cosmos Sword Emperor
Cosmos Sword God.
These ranking titles are the same for magic ranking but I have heard that there are no known god ranked magicians which makes me wonder what kind of rank in magic I have. Well right now I am on a field of grass about 500 meter from the castle my father and mother are watching from the castle to make sure they do not get in the way of the fight

In that moment Kenshin attacked I countered with one of the techniques I had learned from him in the past three years and I used my temporary enhancement magic (temporary enhancement gives a big buff for as long as the magic is used body enhancement has a weaker effect but is permanent but it give a lot over time) wile enhanced and using my fighting spirt I was fighting Kenshin. Kenshin had a definite advantage because he had more experience than me and was not wearing a training suit. While we were fighting we were going almost too fast for a normal person to see, both sword energy and fighting spirit and the clashes between our blades made loud bangs and sword energy was flying of her and there making holes in the ground and felling trees and so the fighting continued.
During the fight Kenshin started slow (well slow for him) an steadily increase his pace during the fight and after about 2 hours it became hard for me to react in time to his tactics and could only defend attacks during the fight some of the spectators where encouraging me and so it went one for a while after about 30 minutes Kenshin¡¯s pace became too quick and I was hit on the back of the head and fell unconscious the last I heard was a scream coming from the direction of the castle. When I stared to wakeup I saw my father discussing with a few mages and heard my mother lecturing Kenshin.

Mother: ¡°what were you thinking Kenshin you were going at it so hard while it was just a ranking match and no our daughter is in some kind of blue crystal egg that we can¡¯t even move¡±

It was very funny to see Kenshin being lectured by mother while he was sitting on his knees looking down like a little kid being lectured.
Father came over to mother an began to speak
Father: ¡°honey I think it is enough right now¡±
Mother: ¡°ok, did you and the court magicians find out something about the blue crystal it is irritating that we can see her but can¡¯t do anting to help¡±
Father: ¡°honey calm down me and the court magicians discussed about the crystal and came to the conclusion that is must be some kind of defensive magic the magicians can try to brake it but it would be dangerous for them and our daughter so the best solution seem to be to wait till our daughter wakes up and releases the spell¡±
Mother: ¡°yes that seems to be the best solution¡±
After about 30 minutes or so I am fully recovered from the blow to the head that Kenshin gave me and I dispel the magic when my parents see it the rush over a help me up with great difficulty.
Mother: ¡°sweaty are you alright? What was that blue crystal? And why are you so heavy?¡±
Kyna: ¡°I am aright mother but please calm down¡±
Father: ¡°how are you feeling Kyna?¡±
Kyna: ¡°I truly am aright, well I think that I will first explain what that crystal was that is a powerful defensive spell I made that activates atomically when I fall unconscious or when I have major injuries I defends me from outside attacks and heals my body at the same time, as for why I am so heavy it is probably the training suits gravity magic¡±
Father: ¡°that is an amazing spell Kyna but we are very happy that you are okay¡±
Kenshin: ¡°that was an amazing fight kid but sorry about hitting you on the head well as for the ranking test I have to say you passed with flying colours you have reaches saint rank¡±
Father: ¡°well Kyna please go to the castle and rest up mother, Kenshin and I have some things to discuss for tomorrow¡±
After that I went to the castle ate and went to bed

When I woke up and felt refreshed after putting my clothing on over my training suit I ate my breakfast I did my morning training and then I was called to the study of my father. And when I came in my father mother and Kenshin where all in the room.
Father: ¡°morning Kyna please sit, mother and I have been talking about your future for a while and we think that it is time to introduce you to the nobles and emissaries from other countries now you are strong enough to defend yourself from a reasonable threat but we still wanted to ask you what you think about the matter¡±
I thought about it and came to the conclusion that it was a good idea because I am now strong enough to defend myself and it is normal to be introduced to the nobles around the age of six and it is handy to meet people to make connection for the future.
Kyna: ¡°I think it is a good idea and have no reason to object to it¡±
Mother: ¡°if it is okay with you than I will start preparations for the party, oh I almost forgot now you are six you will get a status plate we were planning to give it to you yesterday but because of somebody went too far with a sparring match we did not wave the chance¡±
My mother gave a meaningful look at Kenshin and then gave me a small plate made out of a magical metal that that has been enchanted to show you states to yourself and those you give permission. I cut my finger a bit and let a drop of blood fall on the little plate and after a few seconds it displayed my status and immediately I set some things to hidden.

I am quite happy about my gifts and skills but I am amazed when I see that my origin magic is god rank I knew it was strong but I never knew that it was that strong I mad shore to hide it and did the same with blessing of the Ancients because I think that it comes from my past world. And then I show my status to my parents and Kenshin and their mouths fall open (I looks very funny) after a while my father is the first to regain his composure.
Father: ¡°I thought it would be good but I did not expect this there are even some gifts that I have never heard of before while in any case congratulations Kyna¡±
Mother: ¡°this is amazing sweetie congratulations¡±
Kenshin: ¡°Wo remember me not to piss you off I would not want to fight you in your when your berserk gift is activated well one way or the other I think that you are ready for the second stage of training¡±
Kyna: ¡°umm second stage I am almost scared to ask but what is it?¡±
Kenshin: ¡°I am glad you ask for the second stage of training we will be going to north west to the part of the kingdom where the monster attacks are most frequent to put on some combat experience but it will be a while before we go because upcoming party¡±
Mother: ¡°a yes I almost forgot well I am going to make preparations for the ball is there anything you specifically want sweaty? if you tell me I can more or less manipulate what kind of presents well manipulate sounds kind of bad but you will get otherwise you will be a lot of stuff you do not like¡±
Kyna: ¡°now I you are asking about what I would like it get than it would be soul stones rare and interesting books about the world or magic, maybe some magical metals or some rare and useful plants with different effects for alchemy¡±
Father: ¡°I am wondering where you will be using that for but I won¡¯t ask because you have always been kind of secretive about what you do in your free time but I do ask you to be careful with that stuff because it can be dangers if used incorrectly¡±
Kyna: ¡°of course I will dad and when the first part of my plan is finished I will show you what I kind of things I have been doing so please wait for the reveal¡±
Father: ¡°Okay Kyna I will¡±
After that we talk about some other tings but it was not really important.

Chapter 3: The Ball
Part 1
Six and a half years old
The past half year has been nice I still had to train but Kenshin what away a lot because he had to prepare some things for the second stage of training and also for the ball so I only had to do normal training but did not have to spar. I also used the past half year to do some things to prepare for the trip, I went to some blacksmiths in the city to learn the basis of blacksmithing because I wanted to make some things for the trip and be able to repair my equipment in the field.
I also made some modification to my secret workplace I made a small forge for smiting and because it was heated by magic it did not produce any smoke, I also made a simple automaton with some steal for the skeleton and some other materials for the rest of the body I made it look like a maid I is not because I swing that way but because it would be doing more or less the same things as a maid than I used one of the biggest soul stones (about 5 centimetres in diameter) and programed it to absorb mama from the air, keep my workplace clean and take care of the plants than I installed it in the automaton and activated it and was happy to see that is worked perfectly but even if the automaton could take care of the garden I still did it myself because I found it relaxing I just gave it that fusion for the times that I would be away. But the biggest modification I made to my workplace was making a new room for a teleporter and set up the basis for it. I Could not build I right now because I did not have the resources for it but I was hoping to get them at my party. The way you can teleport in this world is by using two teleportation circles that are linked to each other this way is the safest and anybody can use it, by using teleportation magic to teleport to a teleportation circle this way is safe as long as you can use teleportation magic well and you can teleport to any teleportation circle as long as you know the code of it or by just teleporting between places you want with your magic this way is safe as long as you teleport to a place you can see if you teleport to a place you can¡¯t see It will be very dangerous. And that¡¯s why I am building a teleportation circle in the castle so that in the case that my parents are in serious danger I can go help them immediately.
Me and my mother also went to the city for some clothes for the ball and for when I would go to train we draw quite a crowd when I go to shop because it was the first time that that the princes came out of the castle, well it was the first time that I was officially out on the streets and there were some rumours going around about the princes walking around in the city alone helping some people and learning to blacksmith among other things. And those rumours where pretty good for my reputation and I was happy about it.
Mother and father have sent a lot of invitations to a lot of different nobles and rulers some we want to come but some others we invite to preserve relationships with them well one way or the other the preparations were going smoothly and my normal daily life continued
Part 2
I am warring the dress for the ball of this evening it is a mostly white dress that is easy to move in and it is very soft and is made from very strong fabric and on some places of my dress there are decoration that have the same pattern as the scales of my tail. I also have hidden a small sword in my clothes strapped to my leg.
Mother: ¡°sweetie you look so cute in that dress I don¡¯t really know what you need the sword for but in any case you look gorgeous¡±
Father: ¡°you look very cute Kyna, and now some serious stuff Kyna, tonight there are going to be a lot of guest some we likable and some a bit unlikable, and those unlikable will probably most likely have come to see what kind of state our country and we have to appear strong and even if when don¡¯t like them we must treat them all with respect even if they do not deserve it¡±
Kyna: ¡°of course dad I know that and I will most likely avoid them¡±
Father: ¡°okay, we will now have to go and great the guests¡±
After that we walk to the ball entrance of the ball room and shake the hands of all the guest that come in room and then them for the presents they bring and when everyone is in the ball room, my father gives a short speech and I great the guests, when that is done I start to casually observe the guests and see that there are representatives of a lot of different countries most of which come to try to convince my father to join them in their war and there are a few representatives of neutral countries and there are also a lot of nobles from our country. After a while I spot a group of young children mostly around my age or older. I waked over and everyone introduced themselves Names:

Kyna: ¡°Fydar pleas do away with the titles for now because I just want a normal and fun talk is that alight with everyone else?¡±
Everyone agreed with it
Efari: ¡°thank you for the invitation Kyna my brother also wanted to come but he was to busy with work but he does send his congratulations for your sixed birthday even if they are half a year late¡±
Kyna: ¡°don¡¯t worry about it Efari please tell him I send thanks when you see him, but enough about that I want to thank you for coming here all of you despite having to travel for so long I hope that it was not to boring on the road¡±
After that we talked about some other things that were not really important but we made became friends and after a fun talk I had to leave and talked with some more nobles an representatives. After walking around for a while and talking her and there I walk by a group of representatives of the pro human faction and when one of them steps back he steps on my tail and because of the sudden pain in my tail I fright and punched the man in his stomach and he is sent flying in to the wall. Because of the sudden noise everyone turns around and sees the man lying at the bottom of the wall and they see me holding my tail in my arms and angrily looking at the man and everyone immediately understands what has happened, some people begin to laugh some are looking a bit angry and other are looking with a look of disbelieve.
Father: ¡°eh Kyna are you alright?¡±
And then I snap out of it and look at what I have done
Kyna: ¡°o no what have I done I am so sorry¡±
And then even more people begin to laugh, but I run over to him and immediately us my healing magic to fix him up.
Kyna: ¡°are you right now? I am so sorry¡±
Representative: ¡°yea yea I¡¯m okay you fixt me up so and it was kind of my fault because I stepped on your tail¡±
After that almost a lot of people smile and some still look in disbelieve. After that the ball continues on normally and after everyone leaves my father, mother and me begin to talk.
Mother: ¡°Kyna I am proud of you wile punching him so hard was not really the right thing to do, you did fix it in the best way possible by showing concern and healing him immediately¡±
Father: ¡°I agree and one way or the other we did really appear strong no normal 6 year old can send a grown man flying in to a wall by accident it as the best possible way to show your strength. Well in any case the party went well lets now go to bed I¡¯m tired¡±
Part 3
One month later
In the past month I have been preparing some things for my training. I spent the day after the party mostly un unpacking gifts I got from the guest and I was very happy to see that the things that I got where mostly ting that I asked for there where some interesting plants, some books and most importantly I got magic metals and soul stone. I first plated the plants that I got in my secret garden and after that I finished the teleportation circle by using some of the special paint I had made from the smaller soul stones and I powered it with the bigger soul stones that I had programed to collect mana and transferred that with some of the magical metal to the transport circle(see mana as electricity).

I also mad some other stuff from some mithril, I made a sword, a pocketknife (I like those things they are very useful) and lastly I made dual hidden blades for in my armguards my armadas have the same pattern as my tail engraved on them and I also put in a magic stone to make them also function as a wand not that I really needed a wand but it made it more complete I guess, after that I made some armour a breastplate and leg guards engraved with the same pattern as my tails scales. I also made a bet that holds some pockets for money and I engraved a metal piece in the middle with my crest (two dragons on white one black making a yin and yang)) and some very strong fabric that was made from the hair of some monster with a hood for the. Lastly I enchanted my equipment my weapons and armour with durability and stealth it makes me invisible to the eye when I channel my magic in to it, I still have to look out for people that can sense me so I have to hide my presence and make sure not to produce any sound or smell if I want to be totally undetectable.
And so the month went by and I was now in my white robe with my hood of, and have equipped myself with breastplate armguards and legguards and belt and have my sword ad my side and underneath all that I still have my training suit. I of course also paced some other stuff like food tents and other basic stuff but I stored that using void magic this magic stores everything you want in your soul space but that means that you can¡¯t store mana in the area that is taken up by the stuff you put in there, not many people know this magic and even fewer use it because the mages that can use it usually don¡¯t because otherwise they would not have enough mana but my soul space is so large that even if I cast my most consuming spell it would still take about a week to empty out so it does not really matter for me to temporarily lose a bit of mana storage. Anyway my father mother come to say goodbye and Kenshin comes walking with them and he seems to be carrying a big pack.
Kenshin: ¡°wow Kyna you got a nice outfit, but where are your supplies?¡±
Kyna: ¡°I stored them using void magic I will do the same with your stuff¡±
After saying that I used my magic to store Kenshin¡¯s stuff
Father: ¡°well Kyna you never cease to amaze me, well anyway I wish you a safe journey and I hope you will return soon ¡±
Mother: ¡°I hope that your Training will go well¡±
Kenshin: ¡°thanks for storing my stuff princess, and if you are don with saying your goodbyes lets go¡±
Kyna: ¡°goodbye mom, dad I will you and I wish you good luck and I will bring back some souvenirs for you¡±
After that I put on my hood and I and Kenshin start running to the north west of the country (why we travel on foot because we run faster than horses and it is good training)

Chapter 4: The village
Part 1
1 month later (6 years and 8 months)
After traveling for about a month we finally arrived at the northern woods. While traveling I saw a lot of things we stopped in some villages for a day or two most of them were villages who lived of farming and I was happy to see that they were using the new farming techniques that my father implemented at my asking. I also asked them how they feel about the royal family (without revelling that I was the princess of course) and the state of the country, more or less all of them said that they had trust in the royal family and that they would like them to continue ruling the country in the same way, as for what they said about the current state of the country it was that they were worried about the conflict in the south and do not want to go to war. Lastly they said that if they wanted one thing to happen with the country that they wanted that the northern wall would be repaired because that would make the lands a lot safer.
And now back to the present, in the northern woods there are only a few villages because of the constant monster attacks that also means that all the villages here are well guarded. The villages are well guarded not only because of the large amount of monsters but also because of the bandits. There are more bandits in this area of the country than anywhere else and the reason is that because of the large amount of monsters keeping the army busy, otherwise the army would be able to focus on the bandits. The bandits in this area are strong and regularly attack villages and travellers to steal there valuables and kidnap them to sell as slaves in other countries. They also work together with each other and it is rumoured that there is a secret bandit city in these woods.
We are now on our way to a village we heard about to stay and set up basecamp for when we are training in the woods. I still have my training suit on and Kenshin says that I can take it off when we have fond/made the appropriate place to do so, I do not really know why he is insisting about it so much but he has been a good trainer and even if some tings that he doze or says are weird it is usually good to follow up his advice.
Part 2
???1: ¡°AAAH help!
???2: ¡°HAHAHA what do we have here an elf from the village?¡±
???1: ¡°let me go you bastard!¡±
???3: ¡°he don¡¯t be so rude we have some questions for you¡±
Me and Kenshin stop as we hear the noise and we sneak in the direction where the noise came from the noise came from and when we get closer we hear more screaming and then I signal Kenshin to stay back and I activate my stealth enchantment from my armour and go on toward the screaming. And when I arrive I see a elven girl being held in the air by an orc and at the sides I see a human man and an beastmen and the three men are all having an evil smile on their face are all dressed in old armour and they certainly give of the evil bandit ¡°vibe¡±. The girl is dressed in simple clothes and looks about 10 years old and is struggling to get out of the orc¡¯s grip. I could not help but ting that I think that this looks like it was taken right from a book elven maiden attacked by bandits, after that I started listening in.
Human Bandit: ¡°Tell us where the fairy pond is and we will leave your village alone¡±
Elf Girl: ¡°no I can¡¯t we own them our lives¡±
Beastmen bandit: ¡°tell us or we will attack your villages to get the information¡±
After that the girl looks at them with angry eyes but say nothing.
Human Bandit: ¡°this is not going to work¡±
Orc Bandit: ¡°then we will have to take her to the master he will be able to get it out of her, but she will be totally broken if we do that and then her prise will go down¡±
After that I deactivate my stealth and walk out of the bushes and the bandits see me.
Human Bandit: ¡°and what do we have here?¡±
Orc bandit: ¡°ooh it is a dragon clang girl, forget the fairy¡¯s if we catch her we will be set for life!¡±
Kyna: ¡°you bandits think only of money, surrender now and I will spare your lives¡±
Human Bandit: ¡°ha big words for such a small girl beast go and capture he¡±
Beastmen bandit: ¡°don give me orders you bastard, anyway girl come here and we won¡¯t harm you¡±
The beastmen started walking toward me
Elf Girl: ¡°runaway please run or they will sell you as a slave!¡±
Kyna: ¡°I take that as a no, girl please close your eyes for a bit¡±
Beastmen bandit: ¡°what are you taking about you b¡¡±
Before he could finish his sentence I stabbed on of my hidden blades in his hart. When the other two bandits see their comrade fall the draw there weapons. The human shoot a few arrows at me and I doge them and close the distance and the man tries to draw his dagger, but before he is able to I stab him in the heart. The orc slashes his giant sword at me but I doge and after that I jump and cut his head of with a sword draw technique. I catch the girl that fall out of the orc¡¯s hand and put her on the ground and then she open her eyes and screams at seeing the blood on me and the slathered bandits. Then I signal Kenshin to come out and clean the blood form myself and my weapons with some water and wind magic.
Kenshin: ¡°you made short work from them Kyna I do not promote killing but in cases like this I think it is the best solution.¡±
Elf Girl: ¡°but how?¡±
Kyna: ¡°um are you alright?¡±
The girl looks at me and she recovers from her shock.
Elf Girl: ¡°thank you thank you for saving me¡±
After that we talk for a bit and learn that the elf girl¡¯s name is Maya and that she is from a nearby village and was out looking for herbs to cure her sick father. I told her that I am traveling with my master (Kenshin) to train in these woods and that we are searching for a rumoured village to set up our basecamp (I did not tell her I was the princess). I am also wondering about the fairy pond but that seems to be a secret so I don¡¯t ask.
Maya: ¡°ah that is probably our village, please follow to the village¡±
Kenshin: ¡°thank you that will save us a lot of time searching¡±
After that we start walking in the direction of the village and Maya asks me a lot of questions and I tell her a lot about my traveling and the capital and she is very happy to hear about what lays outside of the forest because she has never been out the forest before and there are not many travellers who travel through the forest so her village is more or less cut off from the outside world. While talking I sense the presence of people hiding in the trees following us and I look at Kenshin and he nods. And then I scream:
Kyna: ¡°WHO ARE YOU HIDENG IN THE TREES AND STALKING US?! Come out or we will attack!¡±
Maya looks at me with questioning eyes. And then an elven man dressed in green clothes and mask comes out of the forested and he stops a few meters away from us.
Elven Man: ¡°We are the defenders of the village of Yalian. And now tell us who you are and what your purpose is¡±
Before I or Kenshin can answer Maya shouts something.
Maya: ¡°Alan? Is that you Alan¡±
Alan: ¡°he Maya we were worried sick when you disappeared and who are those people you are with they did not kidnap you right?¡±
Maya: ¡°No they saved me from bandits so put down your bow¡±
Alan: ¡°o no I am very sorry for pointing my bow at you, Everyone come out please!¡±
After that about ten similarly dressed men came out of hiding and I and Kenshin explained who we are and why we are in these woods they all apologised for pointing their bows at us who had saved Maya. After that we went to the village together with Alan and the others returned to guard duty.
Part 3
When we arrived in the village we saw big trees and a bit under the leafs there were houses that looked like they were made from living branches that where grown in the shape of a house, it looks like it was made with a sort of nature magic. We went to Maya¡¯s house to ask her father (the chief) if we could set up our base camp here. And we went inside with Alan and Maya. And the I saw 3 fairy¡¯s one fairy holding a staff and two presumably guarding the first one we also saw one elf in bed en one standing at the side of the bed. And seeing the reaction of all of them we saw something they did not want us to see (it was secret that fairy¡¯s where in this village (info about fairy¡¯s: they are about a meter high and more or less are mini versions of elves but with wings).
Fairy guard1: ¡°Alan Why have you brought stranger in to the village?¡±
Sad the fairy with a hostile look on her face and pointing her spear at me and Kenshin.
Fairy Leader: ¡°calm down Fyra I am sure that Alan has a good reason¡±
Alan: ¡°I am most sorry miss Elaina I did not think that you would be here and for the strangers they are called Kenshin and Kyna and they are traveling as master and disciple and saved Maya from some bandits and they were looking for a place to set up camp for the time that they will be training in the forest¡±
Elaina: ¡°see Fyra they are just travellers please put down your spear and Kenshin and Kyna I want to give you my sincerest thanks for saving Maya¡±
Fyra lowers her spear but still glares at us. After that I see the sick man lying on the bed that must be the father of Maya.
Alan: ¡°not that I do not want to see you miss Elaina but why are you here?¡±
Elaina: ¡°ah that reason is not so happy Alaneo condition has been getting worse¡±
Kyna: ¡°Can I take a look at him?¡±
Everyone looks at me with a strange expression.
Elaina: ¡°um sure but what do you want to do?¡±
I walk over to Alaneo and take a look at him and I see black lines running over him and he seems very weak. And while looking at him I start going over the diseases that I have learned about and it seems to be a very strong but slow acting poison from a monster that is mostly seen in the outer world.
Kyna: ¡°does anyone know if mister Alaneo has been bitten by a monster recently?¡±
Elaina: ¡°Yes he was, how do you know that?¡±
Kyna: ¡°because these symptoms come from a very deadly but slow acting poison. And I presume that you have tried healing him with magic and you medicine but it did not work?¡±
Elaina: ¡°Yes you are right we have been trying but nothing works¡±
said Elaina while looking down with a sad expression.
Kyna: ¡°can I help? I know a bit about medicine and if I am right about the monster I probably know the antidote I won¡¯t promise anything but if he has a strong will he will most likely pull through with some special antidote in combination with magic¡±
Maya: ¡°please safe dad I do not want to lose him like mom¡±
Maya looks at me with hopeful eyes.
Elaina: ¡°if you say you can save him please help because we do not know what to do anymore¡±
Kyna: ¡°okay, everyone but Elaina please leave the room I need to he able to concentrate, and Elaina I would like you to help with some magic¡±
Fyra: ¡°I am not going to let lady Elaina alone with some random traveller¡±
I look at Fyra and let a little bit om my killing intent loose on her an say.
Kyna: ¡°I really don¡¯t like it when people are so rude against me even especially when I am offering to help them without asking for anything. But if you are insisting stay in the corner of the room and be quiet!¡±
Fyra looks shaken by my killing intent but everyone listens and leaves the room and only Elaina is standing beside the bed and Fyra quietly sits in the corner of the room. I walk to a table and take my alchemy/chemistry set and microscope out of my soul space and prepare it on the table then I take a syringe out and walk toward Alaneo. Fyra looks at me and looks if she was going to make a problem about the syringe but before she says anything I glare at he with some killing intent and she sits back down in the corner. I take a bit of blood from Alaneo and walk back to the table and put it under the microscope and I see that the poison is slowly killing the cells from the body. and after that I take some herbs I harvested from my secret garden in the cattle out soul space and I start making the antidote from it. After 30 minutes the antidote is done. I put some of the infected blood under the microscope and added some of the antidote and it worked perfectly a bit slow but that is what the magic is for.
Kyna: ¡°good it works perfectly¡±
Elaina: ¡°um Kyna I don¡¯t want to break you concentration but what is that thing you are looking in to¡±
I look up from my microscope and see Elaina pointing at it

I step away from the microscope and Elaina looks into it and gasps.
Elaina: ¡°what the hell is this!, there are all kinds of little slime like creatures moving around some are attacking the others and dying¡±
Kyna: ¡°yea you do not know about biology, to simplify things the red slimes are cells of the blood of Alaneo and the black stuff is the poison and if I add some antidote¡±
I add a bit of the antidote I made.
Elaina: ¡°wow the poison is being destroyed¡±
Kyna: ¡°yes that is it, if you want we will talk more about it later, but for now let¡¯s safe Alaneo¡±
After that I used a syringe to inject Alaneo with the antidote and Elaina uses her magic to accelerate the working of the antidote, and after a while Alaneo¡¯s breathing became calmer and when I tested his blood again most of the poison was gone and the rest was still being neutralized by the antidote. After that I walked to the door and opened it and I saw Maya outside standing there with a worried look on her face.
Kyna: ¡°hey Maya the antidote worked your father should be waking up soon¡±
Maya: ¡°Thank you Kyna I don¡¯t know how I can thank you enough¡±
After that she hugged me and ran off to her father. When Elaina came out I asked If we could speak for a bit and she agreed and we went to terrace and she gave me something to drink.
Part 4
Kyna: ¡°Elaina I have some bad news that poison in Alaneo was from a beast out the outer world and the worst part is that the beast is a pack animal so there are probably about 20 more of them the one that Alaneo encountered was alone at that moment and in the best case scenario it lost the pack or the rest of the pack died in the worst case scenario they will be coming to attack the village¡±
Elaina: ¡°o no that is bad we need to heighten the security of the village I am sure that the guards will be able to take care of them but we will probably lose a lot of men if we are not carful¡±
Kyna: ¡°yes that is true, I will make some more antidote for the guards in case they are poisoned. And for something else can I ask a favour? me and Kenshin will be training nearby and I would like to set up our basecamp in the village so that it will not be ravaged by monsters¡±
Elaina: ¡°of course you can you can even barrow one of the few empty houses in the village. And now I will have to go warn the guards about the monster pack I will come by later to talk some more about that biology you were talking about¡±
After that she leaves with Fyra and I go over to Kenshin
Kenshin: ¡°good job princess I did not know that you could do alchemy so well and now I see why you asked for those rare plants as presents at the ball, I also know where you used the magical metals for but I am still wondering where you used all those soul stones for¡±
Kyna: ¡°that is still a secret but I promise I will tell you later but for now I got us a please to stay Elaina said that we can use one of the empty houses in the village to stay¡±
Kenshin: ¡°okay Kyna but please don¡¯t do everything you are making me fee useless here, anyway we will stay here for a week and next week we are going to begin your training and when we are finished with the first stage of you training we will come back here again¡±
After that we went to one of the houses and we slept on beds for the first time since entering the woods and we both slept like logs.
The first few days I more or less relaxed, Alaneo came by and thanked me, I played with Maya, Alan visited to spar with me, I made some antidote potions and I taught Elaina a bit about biology. The evening of the fifth day Elaina came by and asked me to follow her for a bit. I followed her and we arrived at a beautiful place I was a pond or small lake that had all kinds of rare plants, giant water lily flowers that had doors in them and looked like small houses. There are about 25 fairy¡¯s flying around both male and female and there are probably more in the houses and there is a high magic density in the air but it is very calm and it gives of a very nice feeling. And I am silently admiring the beauty this place
Elaina: ¡°do you like it? This is where we live. I wanted to thank you for saving Alaneo and saving Maya but I did not what to give you so I wanted to show you this at least¡±
Kyna: ¡°thank you for showing me this I know that the location of a fairy village is a secret that is worth even more than lives, because even in the country¡¯s that forbid slave trade, slave traders would come from all over the content to capture you and showing this to an outsider like me is a bigger present than I could have ever asked for¡±
After that we talked about the situation in the forest it was mostly about that they had problems with the bandits that had been getting bolder ever since they had got a new boss/master, and that the monster attacks had been getting more frequent in the last few years. But the village is well guarded so there safe and the army is helping out any way they can but they also have to defend the rest of the northern lands from the monsters. after that we talked about some more pleasant tings and at the end I traded some of my herbs for theirs when we were done I walked to our (borrowed)house.
when I was in my room I liked this space to the teleportation circle in my secret workplace under the castle and walked through and I planted the herbs I got from Elaina in the garden, did some maintenance on my automaton that kept my workplace clean when I am away and refiled my stock of alchemy ingredients. And the last thing I did before teleporting back using the circle was check on how my parents were doing it was more or less the same as before I left my father was ruling and doing writing orders and instructions, my mother was also helping him a lot and her belly was beginning to swell because she was pregnant it will still take about two years but it is now really starting to be visible.
The next morning I got up a bit early and cleaned my room, And when Kenshin wakes up we eat and then we go to search for a please to train. And when we were seen of by Maya, Alen, Alaneo and Elaina. After a wile of running in the woods we find a good spot to train.
Kenshin: ¡°okay this spot is good now you can take of you training suit¡±
I raze an earth wall with my magic and in the first time in years I take of my training suit (the suit is more like rings that are fitted around the limbs belly and fingers and it increases gravity and inhibits movement) when I have taken of my clothes and training suit I put on my clothing made of the monster fabric and use some magic to lower the wall.
Kenshin: ¡°good I see your done now jump in any direction you want¡±
I don¡¯t really get it but is do it anyway and I more or less fly forward much faster, much higher, and much further than I wanted/anticipated, and I scream
Kyna: ¡°WHAT THE HELL IT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡±
In the background I can only hear Kenshin loudly laughing.

Chapter 5: Training and first monster
Thank you for writing the reviews Maran, Asceal and Blackghosts it also gives me some ideas for my writing.
I had to make some changes to a chapter to make the story a bit more logical I also added some information about the story to the chapter to make the situation about the world a bit more understandable please tell me if you like it and if you a lot of you do I will probably add some more lore when needed.
I changed the wall description from chapter 2 form 25 meters wide and 5 meter wide to 50 meters high and 15 wide at the top and 20 at the bottom. The reason being that I wanted to make the monsters in the outer world stronger and I needed a reason that the country was still existing and not destroyed by the monsters long ago.
I also changed the fiction to mature because there will be some gruesome things in the fiction like fights killing of bandits/slavers/rapists/monsters and it can get a bit gruesome.

Lore About Magic
All magic uses mana, and mana is stored in your soul space and your soul generates it. All use of magic bring a burden and most mages use incantation to ask a god to carry that burden for them. If the god likes you enough and the request is sensible. Some warrior and most wizard can also use instant/chant less casting but they only use it for simple spells like using fighting spirit or lighting the stove this method is almost instant but you still need time for the spell to form. But the drawback is that it that you have to carry the burden yourself.
Kyna¡¯s situation: Kyna can cast instant magic at a small or beginner to advanced level magic without and carry the burden herself. Any higher level magic than that would mean that she would damage her body and if she decides to use god level magic without having a god carry most of the burden for her she will more or less self-destruct but the magic will probably be something like a moon having a moon crash on the planet. But because she is of the dragon race she can upgrade her level with special objects/items and that would increase the amount of burden she can bear.

Chapter 5: Training and first monster
Part 1
Kenshin is comes running towards me while laughing his lungs out
Kyna: ¡°what the hell happened!¡±
Kenshin: ¡°HAHAhaha wait a second let me catch my breath(few seconds later) ha okay I will tell you what happened you know that your training suit increased your gravity and inhibited your movement right?¡±
I nodded
Kenshin: ¡°well you are now in the same state as I where in when my master finally let me take off my training suit, you are using way to much power to move if you now want to jump one meter you will probably jump about 10 well that is if your suit was putting you under 10 times normal gravity but yours was probably about that level. And now the next training is to get your strength under control if you don¡¯t and try to shake someone hand you would probably crush it, o yea one tip be careful about running my face still hurts when I think about when I did that. Well that is more or less it I will be staying in the village and you will have to stay here until you finish your training I will stay in the village in case the monsters attack. I can¡¯t help you with your training so I will go now bye¡±
Kyna: ¡°Wait what?!¡±
I try to run after him to ask more question but I run way to fast and in about a second there is a tree in my way and I can¡¯t dodge, let alone stop in time and I crash face first into the tree.
Kyna: ¡°Ouch!¡±
After that I calm down and think about what Kenshin said. Most of it I predicted and or anticipated but not to this degree. I any case, right now I have to think about how I am going to get my power under control. Of course I can easily use my magic to restrain myself but that would also mean that I can¡¯t use my power when I need it in a fight. Well for now I need to get my running under control because If I can¡¯t run without being able to stop/dodge I can forget about hunting and that would mean that I would lose a big source of food. I still have food stored in my soul space but only enough for two weeks maximum, plus I can go without food for a long time but I would still feel like starving and that is not pleasant. well I will start with walking.
I crawled to the open area and stand up and try to walk. After the first few attempts end with me crashing into a tree or something else, I re learn how to walk again and after about an hour or two I am finally able to walk without suddenly accelerating or leaving holes in the ground. Then I set of a slow moving training course with my magic and I try to walk through it while trying to dodge very slowly at the same time dodging at the same time, and after a day I finally was able to dodge at a very slow speed. (RWS: why slow speed? because you have more control at slower speeds) Then the real training starts I use my magic to mage the clearing in a makeshift arena with a barrier at the edges and all kinds of moving contraptions in it, and then I start to dodge and move over the clearing, slowly increasing my speed over time and doing the same with the contraptions. And that is how I continued my training.
Part 2
three weeks later
I have been training in my arena and I am now able to go about 4-5 times my top speed I could with the training suit on without crashing into a tree or jumping way to high. Any higher speed than that is still very hard to control. I tested my total increase In strength by jumping I can jump about 30 to 35 meters high and with the training suit it was about 3 to 4 meters so I have about a 10 times increase in strength. Kenshin also came by and told me how the village was doing there had been no monster attacks with probably means that the monster had lost its pack to the border guards or some other kind of monster. He is also training the village guards swordsmanship¡¯s so that they have something to fall back on in case of arrows being ineffective or in case of close quarters combat and. I hope that when I come back that I do not see all the village guards laying broken after Kenshin¡¯s training. he also gave me some good food that Maya had made for me and I love that because she is a really good cook and I let Kenshin convey my thanks to her.
(back to now)
It is in the middle of the night and I wake up because I feel a very strong presents and hear and I look in the direction of it and I see a giant of about eight to ten meters in high black bear of about eight to ten meters in height with red lines over his body in a pattern and I go over the list of monsters I know and I remember that it is a higher class border/level 1 monster (border monster = close to the edge of the outer/inner world). When it sees me it makes an ear-splitting roar (or growl) and I ready my weapons.
The bear comes at me at a frightening speed and I try to dodge a meter to the side but instead I use to much force and stop about stop about 15 meters from where I wanted to stop. I need to calm down this is my first fight with an outer world monster so I need to stay calm and focus. I activate my fighting spirit and coat my sword in magic and I lunge at the bear and use my new strength to try to cut through hide of his arm he growls at me and he comes at me again and this time faster than before and he slams his claws agent my breastplate and I fly backwards toward a tree. I spit u some blood and look up at the bear and see that he is charging at me again and I use a grabbing technique and throw him into the tree I just stood up from. I slash him in his back with my sword and jump back before he can grab me. He stand up and starts to charge at me again, I use my magic to make a quagmire of the ground and he gets stuck and I give sigh of relief.
But I let my guard down too soon and suddenly the lines and eyes of the bear begin to glow red and he braes free form my trap and he charged at me again but father than before and I could not react quick enough and he stabbed his claws under my breastplate into my intestine. I jump back and I am losing a lot of blood and my vision begins to turn red and I charge at him with even more strength then before, he tries to slash me with his claw but I dodge and cut his left arm of. He gives an ear-splitting roar and comes at me and he tries to hit my head and I move to the right and he missed slightly and I stab him in his stomach and then he kick my leg and I hear a lows snap and I scream. I jump backwards and see that the bone of my lower legged is sticking out of my skin use my magic to make a make shift splint for my leg and start firing fireballs and earth bullets at him while keeping my distance and I strike of pieces of his flesh but nothing seems to affect him anymore. He charges at me again even faster than before I blow of his leg to stop him but he uses his last leg to jump at me and he points his claw forward I dodge by a hairs with and before he can bite me I stab my sword in his head and he land on top of me, dead. With great difficulty I throw of his body from me and I stand up and look at the bear, he looks dead but to be sure I take my sword out of his heard and stab him again for good measure.
I walk back a few meters and I look at my body there is a big hole in my stomach and the bone of my lower left leg sticking out of the skin and I swear to never let my guard down again in a fight as long as my enemy lives. And with that thought I fall down on my back and the last thing I see blue crystal encasing me
Part 3
When I start to wake up it is in the evening and I don¡¯t know what day it is. And through the crystal I see Ken shin siting nearby poking a fire with a stick. I use my magic to scan the state of my body and I find that my big wounds have almost entirely healed. I dispel my crystal and call out to Kenshin.
Kyna: ¡°Hey Kenshin how are you doing¡±
Kenshin turns around and smiles at me and he comes walking toward me
Kenshin: ¡°oh Kyna you are awake. I came here a day ago and when I saw you I saw you in your crystal there was with a giant hole in your belly I was worried and surprised. But when I saw the bear I was even more surprised. You did a good job killing that bear, it broke through the border about two months ago and the guards tried to stop it but it killed a squad of soldiers and ran to the forest¡±

Kenshin: ¡°sorry princess, but how did your first real monster fight go?¡±
I sigh and tell him the how my fight was, about the trap, about that it started glowing red, about how injuries and lastly about how I killed it. He smacked my head with his hand when I told him that I let my guard down in the middle of the fight, and he was very surprised when I told him about that the bear started to glow red.
Kenshin: ¡°I fought a monster like that once it was a special berserker variant of the species. That is probably why he was able to beat the border guards. O yea I also heard that the army put a bounty on the head of this monster if we take some proof of the kill we can probably get some money at the adventures guild¡±
Kyna: ¡°well at least something good came out of it. So what now, do I continue my training now or do we go on to the next stage?¡±
Kenshin: ¡°well seeing that you beat a higher level 1 monster you are ready for the next stage for that we will have to travel. But first lets go back to the village I see that you are mostly healed but some rest will do you well¡±
Kyna: ¡°alright lets go after I dismantle the bear and take any useful parts¡±
After I dismantle the bear we head to the village. When we arrive almost everyone is sleeping already and I am just grated by Alan before I use my magic to shower and then I head to bed.
(the next morning)
???: ¡°Kyna wake up Kyna¡±
Kyna: ¡°huh? who is it¡ oh it is you, Maya why did you wake me up so early?¡±
Maya: ¡°early it is the middle of the day¡±
I get out of bed and change in my day clothes and I walk to the table and make some lunch for myself. Maya has followed me and we start to chat a bit about some more or less unimportant things until Kenshin walks in I tell Maya that we will talk later and she leaves with a smile.
Kenshin: ¡°ah your up that¡¯s good I wanted to talk about some things related to the next stage of your training because you will have to make some preparations. The next stage of your training will take please in the dragon fortress mountain range (the place where the old fortress was that was destroyed by the wyverns) it is a very dangers place. There are two reasons why the next stage of trading, one is that while being strong is good you need to be able to survive as well and the second reason is that once every year the border guards send out skilled rangers to survey the mountain range and report information about the monster population and above all the wyverns. I know that your level of stealth is very good otherwise I would not send you there, and I am also greasing that you have some other skills you have not told me about and I am positive you be able to survive there. Lastly I have only two tips for you one do not attack wyverns unless you have no choice. Second even if you fight a wyvern do not fight more that two at the time the level of wyverns is middle level 2 the main reason for that is that in the case of a fight they help each other fight of strong enemy¡¯s. and lastly make sure you have your stealth gear in good condition and be able to kill quietly¡±
I think a bit about what he told me and the information I know about the wyverns myself. They are quite ruthless creatures and mostly fight in groups of two or three and when the fighting gets to hot they try to flee and seek help of other wyverns. They are not truly stupid but smart wyverns are about one in a thousand. And almost all of them are extremely hostile to humanoid races and lastly that they like gold and beautiful jewels and other shiny things.
Kyna: ¡°Kenshin can you give me a week to prepare some things for the training? it would help a lot¡±
Kenshin: ¡°of course that¡¯s why I am telling you now. So we will go in a week is do you thing that you will be ready by then?¡±
Kyna: ¡°yes that is good, I have to go prepare now Kenshin see you later¡±
After that I walk out to find Maya.

Chapter 6: Preparation
Sorry for the wait I wanted to change my writing a bit and let Kyna connect more with people and have more reason to protect them.

Chapter 6: Preparation
Part 1
I find Maya while she is taking some Archery lessons from Alan an I call out to them.
Kyna: ¡°hello¡±
Alan: ¡°hey Kyna, Maya told me you where awake. I wanted to ask how your training went¡±
Kyna: ¡°I wanted to ask you the same thing, I heard that Kenshin was teaching you and the other guards some sword fighting. I hope that he was not too hard on you guys¡±
Alan: ¡°please don¡¯t tell him but his training was hell he made us run 2 laps around the village, 75 punch-ups, 50 sit ups, 25 pull ups and 750 sword swing a day. Can you believe that any more than that and we would have died!¡±
Maya: ¡°at first I was very funny to watch but then he made me also join, he told me that I had to learn how to defend myself we would not have made it if not for miss Elaina Healing magic!¡±
Kyna: ¡°well at least he went easy on you but I can¡¯t believe that he made Maya do the same as the guards well it is good if you are able to defend yourself you do not have the same training as the guards I am you can be very proud at yourself¡±
Alan: ¡°what do you mean he went easy on us that was hell I tell you!¡±
Kyna: ¡°well consider this, Kenshin is my master and I have been training with him since my third birthday and my training was a lot harder I only survived because I have my magic. And after he discovered that he made me train even harder. My master is very infamous because his training broke most of the knights and now they scare any new solders with my masters name like he is some kind of demon that will come looking for you if you do not train hard enough¡±
Alan¡¯s mouth drops open and Maya is just staring at me with a strange look of mixed amazement and pity.
Kyna: ¡°anyway dose one of you two know where there is a spot I can set up a temporary blacksmith I need to prepare some things for the next part of my training¡±
Alan snaps out of it first an answers.
Alan: ¡°ah, yea there is no real good spot for that because nobody in the village can do blacksmithing. once every half year someone takes half the weapons to the village with the army camp a few days with a horse to the north so we do not really have a safe place for that¡±
Kyna: ¡°o that is not the problem I can make that myself it just is that I need a spot that is not in the way for anyone¡±
Maya: ¡°o in that case I know a spot¡±
Alan and I follow Maya, and we arrive at a spot that has some aches and a burred tree on the ground.
Maya: ¡°this spot is far enough from any living trees this tree came down when some lightning struck it so if we have the guards help a bit we can easily remove the log and then you will have more than enough space for a simple forge¡±
Kyna: ¡°don¡¯t worry I can remove the log myself, but it would be handy if someone can bring me any swords you want repaired see it as a thank you for letting me and Kenshin stay in the village¡±
Alan: ¡°Don¡¯t worry about it but how are you ¡.¡±
Before he finishes his sentence I pick up the log and put it on my shoulder and move the log away from the spot and dump it a between some other trees so it can decompose and become food for the other trees. And then I walk back and use my magic to make a stone flour, a simple forge and a smeltery. lastly I take an anvil out of my soul space.
Alan: ¡°what the hell just happened!¡±
I look at him with a questioning look full of innocence.
Alan: ¡°ah sorry you just keep on surprising me and my head can¡¯t keep up anymore. Anyway I will go get some of the weapons that need repair¡±
And he leaves and I am alone with Maya.
Maya: ¡°you are amazing first the log than this I can¡¯t even begin to imagine what kind of training Kenshin must have put you trough¡±
I smile and start to heat up my forge
Kyna: ¡°Maya is there anything you want or need right now, I can probably make it if you would like¡±
Maya: ¡°why do you help us so much first you saved me than my father, you gave us potions for in the case that monsters attack again and you are even going to repair the swords of the guards¡±
I sigh and look at her and sigh and I make some chair¡¯s and I go sit on of them
Kyna: ¡°if I tell you, you must promise to never tell anyone about it and please don¡¯t ask me about it either, maybe later I will tell you more about it¡±
I look at her and she nods and sits down
Kyna: ¡°I have seen horrible things, gigantic wars bigger than ever seen before, every day thousands dying, rape, murder and slavery everywhere. And the rulers could not care less about it they just sat there on there trying to fill there bottomless pit of greed while the ordinary people suffered. I do not want to see the same things happen in this country or world at that. But when I see a village like this where people are happy despite the difficulties it fills me with hope and joy. You are the forest person I ever told this I don¡¯t know why I did but I feel a lot better now I have told this story¡±
After I feel a lot better but still have a say look on my face, I look up at Maya and she comes toward me and hugs me. After a minute she says
Maya: ¡°I am sorry for asking, I did not want to remind you of such horrible things¡±
Kyna: ¡°don¡¯t worry you did not know. Anyway do you want me to make you something?¡±
Maya: ¡°oh, if you want, could you please make me a knife I want to use it for foraging, the old one I used was broken a few weeks ago. I would love it if you could make me one¡±
Kyna: ¡°sure don¡¯t worry about it I will make a very good knife for you I already have and idea about how to make it¡±
Then Alan comes back with a few broken swords.
Alan: ¡°I talked with the leader of the guards and he told me to give you these to test your skill he said that he is sorry for the rudeness but these swords have to be in top condition and if your skill is not good enough it will be very dangerous for the once using it. If you can repair these swords than he will personally come and apologise and bring the rest of the swords that need to be repaired¡±
Kyna: ¡°don¡¯t worry about it I know that the importance of these swords are almost as high as your lives, without them you would have known way to defend yourself, well with exception of your bows. Anyway these are good swords well they were but they are broken now the only way to make then useable again is by re reforging it¡±
I take the broken blades and begin smelting them in smeltery and use my magic to speed up the process. After about ten minutes I check how thing are going and check the metal.
Kyna: ¡°mm this metal is a close imitation of real mithril right?¡±
Alan: ¡°he what do you mean this is not real mithril!¡±
Kyna ¡°I don¡¯t think so it is close but there are a lot of impurity¡¯s and some of the proportions of the mixture are wrong, mm how am I going to show you, ah I know¡±
I make a table and put my microscope on top of it and take out a small my sword of real mithril and call Alan over.
Kyna: ¡°Alan please look at this, this is a sword is made of true mithril look at it for a bit trough the microscope, and now put your sword under it and look again¡±
Alan follows my instructions and looks
Alan: ¡°What the hell is this there are lots of tiny things in my sword, comparing the swords yours looks like a clean stream and mine like a dirty river¡±
Kyna: ¡°now look at this¡±
I take up both the swords and I swung my sword at his and it cut through like the blade was just a wooden branch. And Alan and Maya stand there stupefied.
Kyna: ¡°I am sorry for your sword but don¡¯t worry I will reforge and purify it with the rest¡±
Alan: ¡°I can¡¯t believe it how this happen¡±
Kyna: ¡°this metal probably went from owner to owner and some probably added some other metals to get more money selling it. Anyway please stay her for a bit I will purify this metal and make some swords then you can show it to the leader of the guards¡±
After that I walked to the smeltery and used some graffiti and magnetic magic to remove the slag and make sure that the proportions for the mithril alloy are right and then I made some moulds for metal bars and poured the molten mithril into it. After using some magic to cool it at the right speed I took the ingots over to the forge and heated them again ant then I used a hammer and the anvil to shape it then I cooled it with some special oil (a trick I learned from the ancient ruins) because it works better then water and finally I used a sharpening stone to make it very sharp. And then I took a look at it under the microscope and I saw that it was now true mithril then I put a handle on it and gave it to Alan. (I did not put an enchant on it because if I did and word came out that there is a grate quantity of enchanted weapons here people will surly come to steal them)
Kyna: ¡°I reforged your blade it is now true mithril I still need about an hour for the rest of them but in the meantime, could you please go to the guard leader tell him the same I told you and then show him the trick with the sword it should get a nice reaction. Oh and Maya please go with him you will probably be able to see something funny¡±
After that Alan thanked me and left together with Maya. And I continued making swords from the molten metal.
Part 2
Just when I was finishing the last of the swords a group of guards carrying swords and other dirty mithril weapons showed up together with Alan and Maya. At the front of the group there is a big man with a long stature carrying a bundle of swords on his back. He put the bundle down and came walking toward me and he kneeled down before so that we were almost the same eye level (Kyna still has the length of a kid do not forget that het body is only 6 years and 9 months old)
Eron: ¡°miss Kyna I am truly sorry for doubting your ability¡¯s, I am the leader of the guards of Yalian Eron. I heard about you and your skills from Kenshin he was telling me about you but I found it unbelievable that someone of your age could be so able and I truly apologise to you and Kenshin for doubting you. And now I have a truly selfish request for you¡±
Kyna ¡°don¡¯t worry about it, and let me guess the request is that I reforge all the mithril items. I do not mind but I do have to warn you that you will lose one in every ten blades because of the removal of the junk metals but the swords will be a lot stronger you will pay in quantity for quality¡±
Eron smiled a bit and nodded
Eron: ¡°yes I would like to request this from you, and I do not mind that a bit of the amount will be reduced if it means that the swords will be a lot stronger. Lastly Alan has told me that you said that you would do it for free but my pride dose not Alou allow a favour to go unreturned so if there is anything you would like please tell me and I will see what I can do¡±
Kyna: ¡°I don¡¯t really need anything but if you really want do something for me than please collect some rare living herbs from the forest please make sure that I can replant them and could I please take a small amount of mithril to make Maya a nice forging knife?¡±
Eron: ¡°as for the herbs I will send a few guards that I can miss for a while and if you want to make something for the chiefs daughter with a bit of the mithril how can I object. But do you not want anything else? Even if we go to the city to repair the weapons we have to pay a lot of gold¡±
Kyna: ¡°for me those herbs are far more valuable than gold with the right combination of herbs you can make life saving medicines, antidotes and healing potions so don¡¯t worry about any it those herbs are more than enough. Anyway I would like to start now even if I work fast this if going to take a few days¡±
After that Eron bowed and instructed the guards to leave the packs they carry here and switch the current swords with the once I had just finished he also told me to tell the other guards to come switch out there swords when new once where ready. After that he left and I was alone white Maya and Alan than I put some swords in the smeltery and then turned to them.
Kyna: ¡°So how Eron¡¯s reaction when you cut his sword?¡±
Than the two began laughed loudly and only after a minute they answered.
Alan: ¡°we told them what you told us but at first they were skeptic but then I told Eron to hold up his sword and that I would cut it in two with the sword you made then they all laughed out I told them I was serious and Eron reluctantly put his sword up and I cut it!¡±
Maya: ¡°the reaction from Eron and the other guards was golden they all looked stupefied when Alan cut Eron¡¯s sword in two. And it took then about five minutes to fully realise what had happened¡±
After that we all laughed even louder and then we talked a bit more while I was refining the metal and forging/sharpening blades and in about an hour they both left and in the evening Maya came back with some hot food. I continued for a while and then went to sleep. The next morning I ate and then went back to work and at noon Maya came again with some food. In the evening when Maya had just brought my diner and Elaina and Fyra came by.
Elaina: ¡°hey Kyna, I heard you were here helping the villagers¡±
Kyna: ¡°ah yes, there swords where made of diluted mithril and that makes them a lot weaker. I am probably right to presume that you want your weapons checked?¡±
Elaina: ¡°yes where sorry to border you when you already have so much work but it would make the job of the fairy guards a lot safer if we check the weapons for any impurities¡±
Kyna: ¡°ok take one of the reforged swords and Fyra¡¯s spear and check if you see any difference under the microscope¡±
They do that and the come to me with the result that I expected.
Fyra: ¡°I can¡¯t believe that my spear is made of fake mithril!¡±
Elaina: ¡°I am very sorry but I have an incredibly selfish request for you Kyna. And if you want I will give you something you want in return, we fairy¡¯s do not focus very much on collecting wealth but we live a very long time so we do accumulate a lot of gold and other precious things. If you want we can give you some¡±
Maya: ¡°no Kyna came just back from training and se has been working almost nonstop and just now she is almost finished you ask her to do even more work¡±
The two fairy¡¯s looked toward the ground with a guilty look on their face when Maya scolded them.
Kyna: ¡°don¡¯t worry Maya it¡¯s okay I like doing this kind of stuff it gives me time to think and improve my skills I find this very relaxing and they even offered a reward so how can I refuse?¡±
Maya: ¡°but..¡±
She looked at me and I smiled and she calmed down and then it turned to the Fairy again
Kyna: ¡°I will do it Elaina I know that this is important to you and the rest of the fairy¡¯s. as for the reward please give me some books, and if it is not to much to ask I need a bit of strong wood for the handle of the knife that I want to make for Maya¡±
Elaina: ¡°of course that is okay but are you sure you don¡¯t want anything more than that?¡±
Kyna: ¡°don¡¯t worry I like books a lot and I do not really have a need for gold or other items¡±
Then I finished up the last swords and I went to bed the next morning Fyra arrived with some other Fairy¡¯s and in another day and half I was finally done with all the requests except the one from Maya. And after a bit of thinking, I touch it would be best to make her the same kind of pocket knife I have and with the mithril from the elves and the wood of the fairy¡¯s I made her one lastly but secretly I put a durability enchantment on it so that she would be able to use it for a long time.
The last things I made with a bit from my own mithril was a sewing needle, and I made an upgrade to my hidden blades I made them able to shoot differed kinds of poison in a dart (medicine and antidotes where not the only things I made with my herbs). Then I used the new needle to sew a sleeping bag from the black bear monster hide together with some sewing thread made from another monster I even needed to apply sword energy to the needle to get through the hide so it will last a long time lastly I programed and linked sets of soul stones to be able to communicate long distances instantly and so the final day in the village came and I packed up my stuff and I went out to find Maya. I found her working on a bow.
Kyna: ¡°morning Maya¡±
Maya: ¡°ah Kyna I wanted to visit you before you left¡±
Kyna: ¡°yes I wanted to do the same because I wanted to fulfil my promise to you I made your knife I finished just late night with the engraving of the handle¡±
And then I show her the pocketknife and explained how it worked and she was very happy with it.
Maya: ¡°oh yea I almost forget Eron and Elaina told me to take me to see them if I found you they wanted to give your reward¡±
Then she pulls me over to a terrace in the trees where I see Eron and Elaina drinking tea.
Eron: ¡°good morning Kyna we heard you were leaving today so Elaina and I wanted to give you your rewards some of the guards collected special herbs and I wanted to give them to you now¡±
Elaina: ¡°and I went to our books and took some that will probably interest you¡±
Then some fairy¡¯s and elves came out carrying the gifts.
Kyna: ¡°I truly thank you for these gifts¡±
Elaina: ¡°there not gifts you worked hard for them, they are rearwards for your help. It is us who should be grateful since you and Kenshin came here the village has become a lot safer¡±
After that we talked for a while and then around noon I put the gifts/rewards in my soul space and left to meet Kenshin who was also prepared to leave and when we came at the gate of the village Maya stood there with her father.
Alaneo: ¡°I knew you would be leaving but I hoped that it would not be so soon¡±
Maya: ¡°I made some food for you two for on the road and you must promise to come back Kyna okay?¡±
Kyna: ¡°of course I will Maya I plan to return after the third stage of my training so probably in two or three months I will probably even bring some souvenirs¡±
Alaneo: ¡°I than both of you in the name of the village and mine you realty helped a lot¡±
Kenshin: ¡°don¡¯t worry about it and if you ever have problems with monsters of bandits you can¡¯t solve yourself please go to a nearby army outpost and give my name they will help you¡±
Kyna: ¡°good bye now¡±
After that we left and ran to a army/border guards base in the north and we left the village behind us.
Part 3
The journey lasted about 2 days and we arrived in the morning. The traveling itself was quite uneventful we met some monsters but nothing really strong we also met some Bandits who tried to rob us and knocked them out an tied them up and we took them with us to put them in jail at the army camp. I also teleported back to the castle for a bit to plant the new herbs my garden was becoming quite big and I also planted most of the books in the library and kept some to read with me. When we arrived at the base we saw that it was a big village with a lot of traders who are probably drawn here because of the safety with the big army presence and the base what in the north of the village. When we arrived we first dumped the bandits with the first patrollers we met and Kenshin used his name to ¡°testify¡± and throw them in jail till the trial we also had them sent the base commander a message that we had arrived and that we will come meet him at noon (it was quite funny that the soldiers visually shivered when the heard Kenshin¡¯s name I heard about his infamy but I did not expect this much). Then we ate breakfast in one of the taverns and then Kenshin left to do some things in the village and I went to look for the adventures guild. The adventures guild is a neutral international organisation that has existed for ages and has a ruling council that controls it and is not controlled by any country but everyone can put up quests after they are approved by the guild. At the adventures guild you can register yourself and by completing quests or by hunting bounty¡¯s that the guild approved you can raise your rank within the guild. and the ranks are:
Bronze
Iron
Silver
Platinum
Mithril
Orichalcum
Adamantium
(why no gold? Well because gold is weak and I easily bents/melts one medium raked fire spell end it drops like is it was made of syrup)
Every rank is a higher status symbol and it makes sure that you do not take some ridicules quest like killing a dragon as your first mission. You can take at maximum a quest of on level above your rank and you can take any quest below that but it is frowned upon if you always take a quest below your level, it takes quests away from lower level adventurers and if you level up by always doing easy quests than you do not deserve your medal, lastly you need an amount of quest/bounty points to level up and doing low level quest¡¯s just gives very little points for a high ranking adventurer. I more or less only happens if the quest is a request from a friend of family member or if they a only have time for a short quest.
(back to now in the adventures guild)
I walk into the adventurers guild and look around I see a counter with some receptionists a job offer board and some adventures standing around the board and the rest of the guild hall it was quite buzzy at this time of the day because most of the adventures would get there quest in the morning and return in the evening to get there reward. I walked over to the line for the reception desk ant waited till it was my turn. When it was my turn someone threw open the doors and I saw that it was a man with a ¡°possy¡± of 3 people behind him and he had a platinum medal on his chest I observed them for a bit and saw that they were not that strong at all they are at most just worth silver rank when I compare it to the levels of adventures I saw in the capital. He walked over to the reception desk his possy where pushing people to the side till one put his hand on me and I slapped it away.
Kyna: ¡°what are you doing wait for your turn¡±
Possyidiot1: ¡°what are you saying kid can¡¯t you see that this is the amazing adventurer Moran!¡±

Moran: ¡°what are you talking about you are talking about the great me Moran from Ufsemus here¡±
Kyna: ¡°do I have to explain, well you probably don¡¯t know about it but the quests in Ufsemus are a lot easier than those in Edrana, why you think well because the monsters are a lot stronger here and there are a lot more of them if you go out in this region of the country you will probably encounter a lot more monsters not counting the main target. And now get back in line and don¡¯t border people anymore¡±
After that I turn around to the reception desk
Moran: ¡°you are really irritating me dragon clan but I will forgive you if spend a night with me dragon can women are really hard to get and it is said that they are the best sex slaves to have¡±
And then he reaches out and grabs my tail. Some of the other adventures are reaching for their swords to attack/stop him but before that happens I turn around in anger and send him flying and then I jump towards him and stand above him I take his sword and point it at his neck and I let some of my killing intent loos mostly targeted at him but it is so intense that the other adventures also felt a portion of it and the I speak to him in a very threatening tone.
Kyna: ¡°three things first what the hell are you saying to a six year old girl, second I am no slave and never will be one, and lastly NOBODY TOUCHES MY TAIL!¡±
At the last word I take his word and brake it in two with my knee. Then I release my killing intent and when the pressure fades he loses consciousness. And then I turn towards the other adventure¡¯s and bow.
Kyna: ¡°I am sorry about my outburst just now I really lost it for a bit¡±
Most of the adventures just nod, some say that he deserved it and other put their thumbs up. Then some soldiers come in and see the man on the ground.
Soldier: ¡°what happened here!¡±
Kyna: ¡°just the rich timing, pleas arrest that man for sexual harassment¡±
After that the guild employees explain what happened and the soldiers leave with Moran tied up. And then I can finally do what I came for and I walk to the reception desk.
Kyna: ¡°I am sorry for troubling you with that scene. And now I would like to register at the adventured guild and collect a bounty from a monster¡±
The receptionist is a strong looking human that looks intimidating but he has a smile on his face.
Balux: ¡°don¡¯t worry about it and don¡¯t be so formal please call me Balux. Thanks for taking care of that guy in was going to do something about him but you beat me to the punch, that guy his fame went to his head. Anyway because you did us a favour you only have to pay 25 god instead of the normal 50 gold¡±
I put the gold on the table and smiled and then he takes the money and puts a small medal on the counter
Balux: ¡°good now some explanation about it, you probably know that the adventure¡¯s guild is a worldwide organisation and that your plate is usable at every guild hall. All the guild points you collect will be stored on this plate till you get enough points and then switch to a higher level plate. If you lose your plat you will lose all the points on your current plate and you can buy a new one but all points will be lost. Well that was a very short explanation about the adventure medal you only have to put a drop of blood on it to bind it to you¡±
I do what he said and the plate growled a bit and then displayed my name. this is automatic but you can change you name on the plate if you pay the guild for it.
Balux: ¡°and now for the bounty what do you have?¡±
I already took the head of the monster out my soul space and I placed it on the counter
Kyna: ¡°well this, it is a monster that l encountered and killed and the I heard that there was a bounty on it so I took it with me¡±
Balux looked at I and gasped.
Balux: ¡°SHE KILED THE BLACK DEVIL BEAR!¡±
Everyone looked at me and then they cheered.
Kyna: ¡°um what is going on?¡±
Balux: ¡°you don¡¯t know? This monster had been rampaging in the forest for about two months now and it killed every adventure or traveller it met and we even tried to call in some mithril adventure¡¯s but the bear injured them and then ran away when reinforcements arrived and we have not been able to kill it but you did it and that means that the forest is a lot safer again. In any case here is your prize and I and I think that your bronze medal will need to be upgraded because you collected enough points¡±
Eventually I go a silver medal and 2000 gold and after and when I tried to walk out I was hindered by lots of people that want me in there party an after about 15 mines I was finally free. Then I went to meet Kenshin ant the entrance of the army base.
The army in this world was different from the one in my old world. The army here consists of
Normal foot soldiers like archers, swordsman and spearmen.
There is also the cavalry with spears or bows.
There is a magical division that (of course) uses magic to fight or help with strategy.
And then there are some different things I did not expect to see in this world.
And the first time I saw it I was astonished there are giant robots of about 5 to 10 meters high (normally there are some exceptions). And the most astonishing thing I saw was a fling ship/fortress. And after some desperate research I found out how they were able to build such advanced machines. The reason was that they had found ancient ruins all over the world the same as on my old world but unlike me they could not decrypt the highly advanced language of the ancient well I am assuming that they were the same because the things I heard of their ruins and the bits of ancient texts copied in the rare books I found about them of course they could just have the same ancestors but they likely have the same origins.
And now about the robots/flying ships they were mostly copied from the ones the ancient build and some of them where still partially preserved and the reverse engineering them to be able to make them. And the result was that they were able to more or less make cheap imitations of the real thing. But they are still powerful the only thing they do not understand, let alone know how to make is how to make the core. The core is different for robots and flying ships but the core principle is the same the core is made from highly refined soul stone and has a very difficult to understand programing inside it for the robot or ship that it is in I know this because I know how there made from the ancient ruins I studied. But making them would be very hard and is not realistic till I find a better method.
As for the mecha they are mostly between 5 and 10 meters in height and the specs are different depending on the unit some are strength orientated some are speed and it is mostly customised for each pilot complementing there natural fighting stile and target. And in Edrana they are mostly used for the protecting of the northern border.
And the flying ships are mostly two classes one class for bombing and the other for fighting other flying ships. They are mostly slow and very armoured to protect the core. There are always exceptions and some are more speed orientated and used for guerrilla attacks, attacking bombers and speedy deployment of the troops or even transport of high ranking people.
The core of the mecha is really rare and the ship type core is ever rarer. As for Edrana our country as two active flying ships and three that where downed by the wyverns in there attack on the mountain base where they were stationed the biggest reason that they were so easily destroyed was because of the surprize attack and flying ships on the ground are easy targets. In that attack our country lost a lot of its fighting power because we not only lost three ship but also a lot of mecha and it is very likely that the cores of the ships and mecha where taken by the wyverns because they are more or less giant gems and the Wyverns collect gold and jewellery and now the hope is that it is that the cores are still in the mountains in the treasure hordes of the wyverns and not somewhere deep in the outer world. Currently one ship is still in the capital and the other at the southern border why now at the northern border? Well because one ship douse not stand a chance against the amount of wyverns that are in the mountains. And losing one more would be really bad for our military.
The base in this village has about 10 mecha units and 300 personal/soldiers. and is one of the border defence bases who all work together to protect the border from monsters. Most of the soldiers patrol the border and take out smaller monsters and call for reinforcements from the closest base to help if needed and that base deploys soldiers or mecha units depending on the threat level.

(back to now in front of the army base)
I meet Kenshin and then we walked through the gate into the base. And we go to the biggest building and enter. Inside there is a reception desk with a two female receptionists and we walk up to it.
ReceptionistLady1: ¡°Good afternoon how can I help you sir?¡±
Kenshin: ¡°well I have an appointment with general Thorbird is he here at the moment?¡±
ReceptionistLady1: ¡°yes but can I ask your name first please and status plate/army id please¡±
Kenshin: ¡°of course my name is Kenshin¡±
And he shows them his army id
Bothe the receptionists look at his id and stand up and solute.
ReceptionistLady2: ¡°General Kenshin forgive us for our rudeness we did not recognise you¡±
Kenshin: ¡°don¡¯t worry I am currently on leave, and I came because I wanted to general Thorbird about the letter I send¡±
ReceptionistLady1: ¡°please sit in the waiting aria for a bit general Kenshin I will go see if the general Thorbird is available¡±
We sat down at the lounge and after 5 minutes the receptionist came back. And took us to an office and when we went in I saw a human man who looked about 40 years old and has broad shoulders, well defined mussels, brown hear and eyes. When he saw us he walked over to Kenshin and they shacked hands.
Thorbird: ¡°is good to see you again Kenshin¡±
Kenshin: ¡°I feel the same, how have you been?¡±
Thorbird: ¡°well okay I suppose the defence of the border I solid but every once in a while something bad happens like a strong monster killing/seriously injured some soldiers. Normally as long as we don¡¯t go near the mountains we are safe¡±
Kenshin: ¡°that is good to hear, before we continue let me introduce my disciple Kyna¡±
Thorbird: ¡°ah yes Kenshin told me about you nice to meet you¡±
And then we shook hands.
Kyna: ¡°is nice to meet you to sir¡±
Thorbird: ¡°and now please sit, Kenshin I heard that you had a proposal for me so what is it?¡±
Kenshin: ¡°yes I know that in this time of the year you always send a team of rangers to get intel about the situation of the mountain and I would like Kyna to join them this year she is very capable¡±
After that he took a good look at me and then he thought for a while before answering.
Thorbird: ¡°I believe you when you say she is capable, but I don¡¯t think that she will be strong enough to fight wyverns and I know you Kenshin your teaching is to be strong but stealth is not really you thing and that will be the most important thing on this mission¡±
Kenshin: ¡°I admit that stealth is not really my strong point but she is really good at it even I can¡¯t track her and if you want you can test her your trackers and ranges vs Kyna to test her stealth and for proving her strength¡ ah Kyna show him the head of the monster¡±
Kyna: ¡°Shure here is it¡±
I put the head on the table and Thorbird gasps.
Thorbird: ¡°she alone did this?! This is the a high level 1 outer world monster that took out one of our patrols two months ago!¡±
Kenshin: ¡°see she is strong enough and for testing stealth you can test her with a little game of hide and seek with your trackers and rangers¡±
Thorbird: ¡°no that won¡¯t be necessary if you can¡¯t track her than I probably can¡¯t either but just for checking that your stealth will do it like this I will give you 5 minutes to go hide somewhere in this building and I will try to find you I want to see how long you will be able to hide from me is that alright with you?¡±
Kyna: ¡°umm sure? But if you can¡¯t find me just scream that you lost¡±
I say with a smile
Thorbird: ¡°well we will see about that, good luck and start¡±
I look around in his office and see a large cabinet and I jump on top of it, it is completely in view but I go sit in a cross-legged position and activate my stealth enchant and I become completely invisible in the shadow. Then to be sure I erase my smell with a spell I devolved for hiding in areas with monsters because some have good noses and lastly I erased my presence so that he could not sense me and my magic, and then I wait.
After 5 minutes Thorbird opens his eyes and starts scanning the room with his sensing ability but he douse not detect me and then he leaves the room, Kenshin does a thumbs up (he saw me jump on the cabinet) and then he leaves with Thorbird. With nothing better to do I just start reading in a book about the dragon fortress mountain range and its (ruined)facility¡¯s. I found out that the flying ships were stationed outside and that most other facilities were also placed in the valley surrounded by mountains and I thing that these ruins will be good hiding places. I also think about the best way to survey the mountains and the valleys because it will take me months to do it myself. I need more eyes I think jokingly to myself and then I have an idea, I will just use a small drone made from a medium soul stone to link to my mind and some small once for camera¡¯s and put it all in a metal shell with my Stealth monsters can¡¯t see it or smell it and most monsters can¡¯t use sensing either. if a make some of those the survey would go a lot faster and it will be less dangers. While thinking and reading the time past quickly and after 2 hours Thorbird and Kenshin walk back into the room and sit down.
Thorbird: ¡°I really can¡¯t find her I thought she was joking or overestimating herself when she said to scream when I gave up¡±
Kenshin: ¡°yes her greatest strength is not the fighting ability but her ability to remain undetected or escape and she is really good at it¡±
Thorbird: ¡°well anyway I give up (sigh)¡±
Kyna: ¡°okay I won¡±
I stopped my stealth and other spells I became visible
Thorbird: ¡°he! WHAT!. You were up there the whole time! READING!¡±
I jumped down and sat on one of the chairs.
Kyna: ¡°Umm Yes? Was that not allowed?¡±
Thorbird looks at me while I have a questioning look on my face and he sighs
Thorbird: ¡°I don¡¯t like to give such a dangerous task to someone so young but you just proved that you are better than any other ranger I have. So I would like to request that you survey the mountain range¡±
Kyna: ¡°that¡¯s why I came in the first place and I am happy to help¡±
Thorbird: ¡°is there anything you need or have to do before you want to go?¡±
Kyna: ¡°no I already prepared myself for the journey. But I do have something for you¡±
I gave him one of the linked communication soul stones.
Kyna: ¡°this is a magic tool that can be used for long range communication I found it somewhere on our travels. And I would like you to keep this on you so that we can communicate and I can report about the situation in the mountains¡±
I lied about finding them because it is the same as the cores. These stones can also be found in ruins and I told him that I can make them he will probably question how.
Thorbird: ¡°I know about these thy re quite rare and we have a few of them and use them for communication between bases and city¡¯s anyway this will help us know your status, thank you for letting me borrow this¡±
After that we talked a bit about some uninteresting stuff and some of stories of Thorbird and Kenshin¡¯s adventures together. In the evening I ate and I went to an inn and went to sleep. The next day I started my journey to Dragon fortress mountain range.

Chapter 7: Exploration and Spiders
Part 1
I just left the village/army base and started running in the direction of the mountain following the old road that led to the entrance of the mountain. I have read that the gate was the main entrance to the fortress/the middle of the mountain range. in the time that the fortress was active the main tunnel was 15 meters wide and 20 meters high that might seem unnecessary but don¡¯t forget the mecha are 5 to 10 meters and they also need to be able to transport parts of flying ships. Besides the main tunnel there were multiple smaller tunnels and also a cave system the current situation was that the main tunnel was destroyed by the ranger¡¯s years ago to make sure that I could not be used by giant monsters now some small monsters still come through by using the smaller tunnel and caves. Some of the smaller tunnels and caves have also collapsed and has more or less become a labyrinth, I got a map made by other ranges and it shows a lot of tunnels and cave systems. it will probably be better that I make the drones before I enter because even if I got the map the rangers warned me that every year some tunnels collapse and that the map is not totally accurate.
Back to the journey currently I am about halfway to the mountain range and it looks massive from here and I am still so far away. so far I have not encountered many monsters and most of the once I have met where really weak and I just ran past most of them and hunted some for food and materials and now I am making camp by a big tree and I am getting ready for the night. I stopped a bit earlier today because I wanted to make the drones and when I was done setting up camp I started.

I make a small smeltery and I start smelting some mithril and take out some soul stones. I program 6 soul stone withe code so that they will be able to transfer data and receive orders and magic for fuel and lastly to cast gravity magic to fly these soul stones to make the core of the drone and are the biggest I currently have, then I program some smaller to be able to record video by using light based magic and record sound by using air based magic to record the vibrations in the air. I also program in some fail safes to make sure I am not blinded and make sure that the sound level is not too high. And then I made a mould for the casting of mithril for the soul stones and I put the components together and end up with a flying drone that can record data and send it to me. I am happy with the design but I want something more and I begin tinkering.
(The next day the evening)
I wake up in the tree and think about what happened, I had make the basic drone and started modifying it. After that it became a kind of trance I was so focused on my work that I just kept going the entire night and morning and then when I was satisfied I finally went to bed. This has happened before sometimes when I am researching something or making something new I loos myself a bit and keep going till I am satisfied or am stopped by something, that¡¯s why I set up an alarm clock in the secret workshop of the castle.
I look around a bit and see something strange some rocks that where there when I came here seem to have been burned or have a hole in them or have even exploded. Then I look for my drones and I find them in two rows of three hanging down my back and I order them to fly out. They all drop from the docking station on my back and start hovering around me covering all angels. I make one of the drones fly in front of me and examine it can do.
Specs of the drones:
They can fly by using gravity magic.
They are enchanted with stealth and became invisible to the eye.
They can cast shields so I can use them as flying shields.
They can record video data using light magic.
They can record sound data using wind magic.
They can send data.
They can receive orders and mana
They can pick up some objects as long if it is not heavy using gravity magic.
Lastly they can fire lazes using light magic the laser can cut through rock but it takes a while and by combing the lasers they are a lot faster and can even make rock explode by the sudden heating. And thinking about what kind of effect it has on a monster I estimate that it will probably easily kill any inner world monsters (with exceptions of some special monsters) and most level one monsters. As for wyverns... it can probably do some damage and 6 drones vs a wyvern will be easy but the strongest point of the wyverns is their numbers. Still they can distract.
When I was done checking out the drones I packed up and started running in the direction of the mountains again. But in the middle of the night I decided to take a break and I laid down on a small grassy hill and looked up to the stars and moons. I love the evening sky especially in an area with no lights around. In the evening sky the stars shine bright and moons seem to be so close but yet so far away. One of the moons is called hell and the other heaven. Some religions used the two moons to explain the afterlife but not many people believe in those religions anymore since the invention/rediscovery of the telescope. But most other religions also have their own version of heaven and hell if those are true or not I don¡¯t know, but I do know that reincarnation is a possibility in this world. I do not know if evil people go to a bad place and good people to a nice place or that everyone gets reincarnated and only some retain their memories.
The moon called hell glows brightly in the night sky and produces its own light because of all the geological activity and the lava on the surface and it is said that the monsters came from that place and then went to Gaia. The other moon called heaven is mostly green and blue and I douse not produce its own light, but reflects light from the sun and it is said the elves and fairies came from that moon. But those are just legends and even if there is some truth in it, for now we have no way to find out. I will probably do some space exploration when I have the time. I don¡¯t have to hurry, my life will be long with a lot of painful and hopefully also a lot of happy things along the way. But that all is for another time in the future, right now I will continue my journey to the mountains and tunnel entrance. I get up and start running again to the mountains.
Part 2
In the next few days I kept running to the mountain and the closer I got to the mountain the more there are. In this area the soldiers don¡¯t come it is too close to the mountain and any group of humans larger than about ten people will be easily detected by most monsters and any group that is big enough to fight of the monsters will be killed by the wyverns. So the only way to get close to the mountain without dying is to travel in small groups and stay undetected or be so fast that monsters can¡¯t keep up. Right now I am running past monsters and try to stay undetected so I can continue without having to fight a whole horde of them.
I can finally see the entrance of the tunnel it is a circular wall that surrounds a small former checkpoint/military base I was originally built to have a guarded place to check people and supplies that have to enter the fortress. The last reason that it was largely build outside the mountain because it would give time to close the main gate of the tunnel in case of attack. While it was originally only a checkpoint it expanded with a small village, some shops, a market place, warehouses and a large open yard where carts would be loaded to transport the contents inside the fortress.
When I come close to the checkpoint I see that some of the walls are still standing that is probably because they are made the same way that the main walls were made. The bricks from the wall are made with a really hard artificial rock called Ceramic and then enchanted to make them even stronger. This makes the wall very strong but very hard to build/repair the proses of making Ceramic is a secret only Edrana know. The walls of Edrana are the strongest in the world and it is one of the reasons that our country still exists today, but the walls are not indictable. About 500 years ago when the wyverns attacked the wall was partially destroyed and the biggest reason why it was destroyed was that they first attacked the fortress they caught us off guard and destroyed our flying fortresses our main defence against airborne attacks. After the main attack on the loss of Dragon fortress the wyverns settled in the mountain range, then they started clearing every defensive structure in the surrounding area including the wall. They attacked the wall every day for 50 years and destroyed it bit by bit till it was far enough from ¡°their¡± mountains. Relying on the flying ships for our main/only defence against aerial attacks was the biggest mistake in the history of our country and since then we have made upgrades to the wall so we can defend against airborne attacks without the flying ships now.
While that is great that it can¡¯t happen again and that the wyverns can¡¯t attack again we can¡¯t take the anti-air weapons with us in great numbers because they are bulky and require a lot of energy and are best used stationary. This means that they can be used on flying ships but not really in an army so it is currently not feasible to attack the wyverns with them. But when they are developed enough we can theoretically use them to try to take back the mountain range but without back up plans/secondary attacks this will be a long shot. But still this is a dream of Edrana because it will make the northern lands safe again, and make the army a lot cheaper to maintain.

I snap out my thinking because I sense some monster coming toward me. I activate my stealth enchantment and I enter the ghost town through a hole in the wall. Inside the walls I see ruined houses and I start exploring the ghost town. I find most of the buildings ruined an only a few monsters in town. From the main gate of the town a there is a wide road, on the left side of the road there are the old warehouses and the cart yard and a bit of training area on the right side of the road there are a lot of houses some old shops and the old market place where merchants sold things to the stationed soldiers that where of duty. This was a great place to sell stuff because the soldiers would sometimes be stationed here for an entire year and this town is the only town that they ca visit when they have time off. When I follow the main road I come upon the entrance of the main tunnel and it is an impressive sight.
On both sides there is a statue of a giant knight with both his hands resting on the pommel of a stone sword that is standing on the ground, standing guard at the entrance for centuries. Both the status are still well preserved because they are made from ceramic material, they also have a certain air about them that probably keeps the monsters away from them. As for the tunnel entrance the wall of the mountain is reinforced and is still standing strong but the gates are destroyed and are laying on the ground and the wooden mithril reinforced doors are still mostly intact because of the enchantments but it has large marks on it from giant claws probably from the wyverns.
I walk back towards the houses and look for one that is still useable to sleep in for the night tomorrow I will enter the tunnel.
Part 3
After sleeping in one of the old houses I pack my sleeping bag ate a bit and leave for the tunnel. I stand in front of the tunnel and enter, the inside of the tunnel is mostly still intact and it is very dark. I activate my night vision and run funder into the tunnel. here and there are old skeletons they must have been from the town and tried to hide inside the tunnel but the gate was breached and they dyed, some of them still have old decaying armour on them. About 500 meters in the tunnel opened up into a dome. It was probably one of the defensive structures inside the mountain. On the ground there are multiple skeletons of dead wyverns on the ground there also the remains of soldiers and even some mecha units that are ripped open probably to remove the core and other parts and not much remains. In the back of the dome the tunnel is collapsed and I need to find another path.
Most of the air in the dome is stale and musty, but coming from somewhere in the dome a damp smell hangs in the air. But because the air is so stale the smell is hart to follow and I decide to send out my drones. I sit cross legged on the ground controlling the drones secretly and sending them in different directions and I also take out the map I got from the rangers and send the drones to investigate the tunnels marked on the map.
I sat there for a few days just mapping the tunnel and caves using my drones and mental mapping. The map the ranges made was an old map from the time the fortress was still active and they made updates to it every time they came to survey the mountain. But the map is old and outdated and with my drones I can easily map the entire current tunnel/cave system. While sitting there I made two things one map to give to Thorbird and one to keep for myself. The map for Thorbird was made of strong paper and is just a normal but very detailed map, the other thing I made was a programed soul stone that can display information like a hologram when you loud in data, this works well in combination of my mental mapping skill.
I also found some ores in the caves and had the drones mine it for me and bring it back to me. The drones are very useful for mining but you need to have a lot of skill to have the same control that I have. But for normal people it is probably faster to mine by hand or by using machines. And when exploring a long cave I came upon a big underground lake where it was total darkness with the exception of some glowing crystals. In the lake almost blind fish with big eyes that evolved separate from the rest of their kind.
In the middle lake there was a small island with some kind of monster on it looked like a hairless humanoid creature and when it saw my drone it became invisible but I could still hear him and when it tried to attack the drone I killed it with a shot of my laser? I scanned him with the done and found a ring and took it I let the drone take some of the growing crystal and let it return. I examined the ring and found out that it was a cursed ring that would make everyone who held it paranoid crazy and invisible. And I just destroyed it with my white Dragon Flame and I felt something screaming NOOOOOOOOOOO and I raise an eyebrow and then I just continue mapping the tunnels and caves.
I also found piles of corpses and some old rooms with some books with I took. I also found some walls with the last massages of the dead, mostly messages for probably long diseased family members and I offered a prayer for their souls and hope that they have a good life in heaven or have reincarnated and are living a happy life.
When I was finally done with the mapping, a week had passed but I more or less mapped the every tunnel/cave system and I of course also found a ways that led to the other side. But in almost all tunnels there are a lot of monsters I also found a giant spider nest in a big cavern close to one of the exists, I had heard about these spiders from last year¡¯s rangers. They are very venomous and produce a special poison that is very hard to cure, I decide that is best that if I exterminate these spiders it will make the tunnels a lot safer and give me more ingredients, spider silk, small soul stones, poisons that will be useful for later and finally the most important reason is that when the spider population is large enough they will come to hunt in northern lands. And I let all the drones return and dock on my back again and I start walking to the spider nest wile killing and harvesting smaller monsters that cross my path.
When I come close I activate my stealth and sneak into their nest and I see multiple bundles with presumably small monsters in them. And killing the spiders means that the smaller monsters will probably attack north but the spiders work in groups and that is far more dangers that individual monsters. I look around and see about 50 giant spiders and about 100 smaller ones and probably a lot more hidden. Lastly about a hundred eggs. I decide that it is best to first silently kill the sleeping spiders, I will be discovered after a while but I van probably take care of about 40 spiders before that happens and then I start killing the spiders that are in the darkest corners and crevices of the caves
When I am at my twenty-third spider a giant spider came into the nest from a small spider cave in the back. The spider looks very imposing and has a strange sweet but poisonous smell to it, all the other spiders make way for him probably more out of fear than respect. The giant spider is a stronger variation of the giant spider and it is the leader of the spiders. It is (very unoriginally) called Giant spider leader and the adventures guild gives a big bounty to anyone who kills them which is a nice bones.
While I was thinking the giant spider walks over to some bundles that are probably their food and it started poking the bundles probably checking with was ready to be eaten. When spiders hunt they mostly chase weaker monsters that can¡¯t win from them but can outrun them and chase them into their webs or they just set up traps and hope that they are lucky. If the spiders catch something they wrap their pray up alive and inject some digesting fluid and that makes the body of their pray soft and tender, there are actually story¡¯s form people that were freed from there bundles before they were eaten. Most of the bones of those people where partially of entirely eaten away by the digesting fluid¡¯s, and a body without bones is very painful and then I am not even speaking of the melting away of your bones part. I shudder wile thinking about it, well it is another reason why people want these spiders dead.
Anyway back to spiders currently the giant spider has taken one of the bundles down and starts dragging it back to his cave. But when he is close to the entrance of his cave he walks pas one of the spiders that I killed and is lying in a dark corner. A first it screeches at it but when the dead spider dose not move at all the giant spider walks up to the dead spider an starts poking it with its long hairy legs, then it turns the dead spider over and sees that its throat is slit and then it screeches with a sound that sounds like nails scratching on a chalkboard but tens of times louder. I immediately put my hands on my ears, and all the spiders start crawling all over the place while searching for me. The giant spider leader orders the others around and the spiders starts closing all exists, the giant spider can probably sense or see me a little bit because my stealth only makes me totally inviable when I don¡¯t move of move really slowly.

And then one of the small spiders ran into me at first it is stunned but then it screeches and his screech is followed by all of them and they spry some kind of marker on me. Because my stealth is of no use anymore I deactivate it. And then the giant spiders steps forward and to my surprise he speaks in a very strange and shrieking tone.
Spider: ¡°What are you doing here little miss you could get hurt you know¡±
Says the spider with a town that makes me think that he is looking down on me and then I answer.
Kyna: ¡°Well I came here to kill all of you but you intrigue me how is it that you can speak?¡±
Spider: ¡°You kill all of us? Miss I think you are thinking to highly of yourself¡±
Answers the spider a bit laughingly wile coming close to my face with disgusting looking and smelling face with probably more than fifty small to big eyes. And then he backs of a bit and continues speaking while I did not move an inch.
Spider: ¡°well since you are going to die anyway I can tell I came here with the Wyverns and since I was with them so long they gave me something and made me into one of their vassals and mad me able to speak with them. But it does not matter anymore to you because you are going to die anyway¡±
Kyna: ¡°interesting the wyverns have created a ruling system I need to investigate that¡±
I start thinking a bit but then the spider attacks
Spider: ¡°Talking is over its time to become my meal¡±
The spider says wild smiling with his horrible looking face while some saliva/poison is leaking from his mouth. And then all of the spiders start to move toward met to attack.
I draw my sword and slice one of the spiders that is jumping toward me in half
Kyna: ¡°death it is then but I thank you for the information¡±
When I said that the giant spider jumps to attack together with some other spiders. There are too many spiders attacking from all directions for me to block them all so I release my drones and use three of them to guard my sides and back with shields and three other use their lases to attack the spiders. But I still need to watch out for the spider attacks because some of the spiders will probably slip through the gaps between my shields but now I can use the drones to watch my back.
While I sent out the drones to protect my back the giant spider uses his legs to attack me and tries to spit his poising in my face when he sees and opening. I block his first attack with my sword and one of my arm guards the giant spider is very strong probably as strong as the black bear fought a month ago. And this time the enemy has a lot of minions but I have gotten stronger and have better equipment I can win this! Then the giant spider attacks with one of his other legs and I block it with one of my legs he makes a disgusting smile while raising another of his legs, and then I order one of my drones to fire a laser at his eyes. The giant spider screeches with a very loud sound of horror and pain and it backs of a bit. The other spiders seeing their leader wounded and in pain are stunned. In that moment I charged up a fire spell that is extremely bright and hot. And instantly all spider in a radius of 5 meter around me are vaporised or catch fire and the others can¡¯t see because of the flash.
Then I jump forward toward the giant spider and I swing my sword downward strait for his head and the giant spider block with two of his legs. One falls of and the other is just barely dangling from the place where it was cut. Then the spider spits its poison I barely duck down in time and I move under his head and stab my word strait up into its head. The creature gives a final shriek and then falls down lifelessly. While I throw the body of me the other spiders seeing their leader dead some are stunned and some start to flee but they are stopped by their own trap that they made to prevent my escape and when they try to get trough I sent three of my drones to kill them. After that it was just clean-up work because the other spiders where a lot weaker that their leader.
When I was done cleaning their corpses of any useful ingredients I piled up the bodies of the spiders together with the bundles after I checked if their where no people in them. Luckily their where no people taken by these spiders there where only some monsters which were already boneless I felt a bit of pity for them because of the pain they must have felt but I can¡¯t do anything for them because if they lived they would just like the spiders have killed a lot of people so I just killed them quickly before burring them with the spiders.
Then I look at what I got from this nest, a whole lot of small soul stones and some medium once, I collected a lot of spider thread with will be good for traps rope or yarn lastly I have the head of the giant spider to collect my its bounty. I also collected some of the eggs to hatch and milk spiders to make antidote because it is the easiest way to make it using the venom I put a seal on them of course so that they won¡¯t hatch randomly when I don¡¯t want them to.
And about its soul stone I try to check his soul (souls remain in their soul stones for 24 hours after death) for some Intel. Souls are very difficult to influence or interrogate because if you do something wrong it will quickly flee from this world so you have to try to look into them without letting the soul notice you.
And I go some important information out of it. It seems to be that the wyverns are planning another attack in about 5 years to try and take the mountains to the south and that would mean that the north of Edrana would be in a whole lot of trouble. Because of the planning of the war the wyverns have ordered their vassals to expand their forces. I was really happy that I learned this information because it would mean that I could warm my peasants and everyone else so that we can prepare for the attack.
But for now I need to decide what to do next. I look around and walk a bit trough the cave and look around a bit and think. If the wyverns are going to attack In some time it will be handy if I can easily travel to the mountains when needed and this cave I close to the exist that opens up into the valley of the mountain range this will be an excellent outpost to gath
er intelligence and to stay while I am in the mountains. So I need to modify this cave first.
Part 4
After some fun building I had made a good base.
I lit the caves with the glowing crystal I found earlier.
I made a teleportation circle in one of the smaller side caves.
In the other side caves I made some rooms to sleep and store supplies.
In a part of the main cave I made a small relax area.
And in another part I made a command area with a holographic devise that displays maps of the tunnel and the mountains and I also made a kitchen and a small exercise area.
I also reinforced all the walls of the cave so no monsters could break in via the walls.
Lastly I made a very strong mithril vault like door for the main entrance and I put in a soul stone to cast illusion magic to make it look like a cave wall.
(Back to now)
Now I made a safe place it will be best to contact Kenshin and Thorbird and I take out the communication crystal(communication crystal sounds better than communication soul stone so I am going to call it that even if it is made of a soul stone) and turn it on.
Kyna: ¡°General Thorbird can we talk!¡±
I hear some taking in the background of Thorbird, Kenshin and another person. And then Thorbird takes up the crystal and answers.
Thorbird: ¡°a Kyna perfect timing we were just talking about you. How is your progress?¡±
Kyna: ¡°Well currently I am at the end of the tunnel/cave system but that is not really important right now, I got information that the wyverns are planning an attack¡±
Then it was silent for a while before the unknown person says something
???: ¡°that voice¡ I have heard that before¡ wait PIRINSES KYNA!!, THORBIRD KENSHIN YOU SEND THE PRINCESS TO THE WYVERN INFESTED MOUNTAIN!!!!¡±
The unknown person screams I quickly cover my ears because of the piercing loud womanly voice.
Thorbird: ¡°WHAT Kenshin that was the PRINCESS! The princes is not even seven years old!¡±
Kenshin: ¡°I know right but she is already so strong even you could not detect her and she even defeated the black monster bear that your normal rangers can¡¯t even touch. I am really proud of her¡±
Answers Kenshin with a proud tone in his voice. And then they start arguing loudly it was a good choice to reinforce and soundproof the walls and exists here because otherwise lots of monsters would have heard the loud voice. And after a while I focus my pressure on the crystal to transmit it while I speak.
Kyna: ¡°please calm down the princess part is not important right now didn¡¯t you hear what I said the wyverns are planning an attack! And miss please let me know who I am taking with¡±
It was silent for a bit and then the women answered
???: ¡°I apologise princess I am Silvetta one of the three generals of the north. I was one of the guests on the ball a few months back you looked so cute in that dress¡±
Thorbird: ¡°Kenshin we are going to have a talk after this but first please tell us what you know princess¡±
Kyna: ¡°just call me Kyna right now I am traveling incognito. Well this is the current situation from the time I arrived in the tunnel, I spent the first week mapping the tunnel with an invention I made and I found a giant spider nest and I decided that it would be bad for the north if the spider population would grow so I went to exterminated them. And then I met a giant spider that could talk but was kind of stupid so I made him tell what the wyverns where doing and he proudly told me that he was one of their vassals and that they were preparing for war that they want to start in five years I used some magic to check if he was not lying and he did not lye a single word probably because he thought that he would kill me anyway. And now I cleaned up the cave and made a nice outpost/resting place for the rangers.¡±
Thorbird: ¡°wow miss you just shook my world not only you told us about the wyvern attack you also did all those other things I am truly sorry for underestimating again because of your age¡±
Silvetta: ¡°the cute princess of our country is already so capable I am so happy I want to hug her!¡±
Kenshin: ¡°I said so right! I trained her myself. Well her swords play a least¡±
And then everyone became serious.
Thorbird: ¡°while I am truly impressed we need to think about how we are going to defend against the wyvern attack. It is good that we got this information this early because it means that we have enough time to set up a defence¡±
Silvetta: ¡°yes but still even if we have so much time defending will not be easy if the wyverns and their underlings will not be easy¡±
Kyna: ¡°yes that is true for now I would like to propose to build more anti air weapons to defend and increase the amount of soldiers in the north. We also need to warm my parents and I plan to get some more accurate intel about the wyverns and what made them want to attack I find it strange that after all these years that they want to attack I think that there has been some kind of external influents that trigged this but I don¡¯t know what. So I want to ask you to keep the knowledge of the planning of the wyverns on a need to know basis¡±
Thorbird: ¡°I get what you mean and it seems the most logical course of action¡±
Kenshin: ¡°anyway we will start preparing on our end and you will gather more intel¡±
Kyna: ¡°yes in any case please go and warn my parents Kenshin, Thorbird and Silvetta please contact the other general and the Nobel houses of Davenlow and Cunningsmith I will go and investigate¡±
Then I hear all three stand up and presumably salute and say.
¡°Understood Princess¡±
After that I ended the transmission and prepared for moving out into the valley to find the wyverns.

Chapter 8: The wall鈥檚 past
Hello everyone sorry for the wait I had to do a lot of research to make the dimension a bit more realistic and that cost a lot of time. anyway this chapter is about The wall in the north of Edrana and I wrote this so that the story is more understandable for everyone.
oh and one more thing I am have been looking for some cool art for the flying ships I don¡¯t really need new art made but if any of you know a cool piece of art with a flying ship please put the picture in the comments.

Chapter 8: The wall¡¯s past
Part 1
The wall was built by the first ruler of our clan after he founded Edrana. In that time the north was totally unprotected from monsters and only very few people lived there. The first king knew that if he wanted to make the country safe and sustainable he would need to stop the monsters from coming in to the populated lands.
He had two options one station a large army to kill any monsters that would come close this option would be the cheapest to implement but the cost of the upkeep would be enormous and a lot of soldiers would die every year and that would be very bad because it would be an endless war. And option two was to build a wall it would cost an astronomical amount of gold to build but the upkeep would be much cheaper and a lot safer for the border guards.
And he chose for the wall. The wall had to be strong and high because some of the monster are larger than twenty meters and that is only taking the level one and two monsters in to account and it is not strange for a level three monster to appear ever hundred years. And so the construction of the wall began.
The wall had to be high wide and long and the king decided that the wall should be made out of a never before seen material that was incredibly strong but also hard to produce. Ceramic stone blocks that would be enchanted where the main building material. And the king had made giant factory¡¯s that automatically produced the ceramic stone blocks at an incredible pace.
would be 50 meters high and 15 meters wide at the top and 20 and the bottom and encapsulate the entire northern part of Edrana. The wall was a massive undertaking because the wall would be more than 1200 kilometres long. And the king used flying ships the transport the materials and used mecha to place them.
The wall was built to connect to the biggest mountain range that would be used as a natural wall and fortress. The mountain range would later be called Dragon fortress mountain range (with was not really original but described it perfectly).
The building of the wall took more than 500 years and because the dragon race is so long living the king lived and ruled the entire time (and during those 500 years he also build the walls in the south but those where a lot smaller so I am not really mentioning them) and when the wall and key fortresses where done 300.000 border guards/soldiers where placed there to guard the wall and the mountain range there were also 3 flying ships and around 10000 mecha units. (they work in shifts of a month only half the number of guards is active at one time in normal circumstances)(I should also mention that the pilots for the mecha are included in the soldier count)

If you compare the size of Edrana with Italy, this will be the scale:
And after some research about the wall of china I found out that the wall of china was about 6000 KM long and had about 1000000 guards (before someone tells me I know it is not totally aureate).
And after some measurement I calculated that Edrana¡¯s wall is about 1687 KM long that is with the natural mountain wall calculated in.
1000000 / 6000 = ¡À167 guards per KM
167 * 1687 = 281729 (I made it 300000 because I like a round number)
Those guards and mecha where spread out over the wall and its fortresses but the three flying ships where stationed at Dragon fortress mountain range. And after all the building the king was old he had already lived very long and in the last years of his live he disassembled most of the technology that he had used to build the wall and he said that if the knowledge would fall in the wrong hands it could cease grate destruction. And after that he passed away and the kingdom mourned for years.
Part 2
The years(centuries) went by the wall and its fortresses stood through centuries and the guards where well trained and fended of any monsters that came close to the wall both by fighting in front of the wall and also bombarding from the top of the wall and while the wall would be damage from time to time it was never something really threatening and the wall would be well maintained. The killed monsters here processed and the meat, skins, soul stones and other things where extremely lucrative to sell and many adventures came and travelled beyond the wall through the gates to test their strength and earn gold. Edrana had become the biggest exporter of monster parts(does someone know a better word than parts? Please tell me in the comments) and while the life here was harder than the life in the centre of the inner world the country was peaceful and almost everyone was happy.
And now I come at the part of the wyvern attack, after many years(centuries) of peace(of course there still was minor fighting and some ¡°small wars¡± so relative peace) with the wall standing as if invincible and well-guarded. But then something happened in the outer world, maybe some natural disaster of massive migration caused it but one day about 50.000, level 1 and some level 2 wyverns came and they also had an army with massive amounts of monsters that came with them.
The initial attack was a slather. The wyverns focused their entire might on Dragon fortress and took down all the flying ships before they had a chance to retaliate. The level two wyverns where led by a high level 2 wyvern and it ordered the other wyverns around. While most wyverns have low intelligence this wyvern was a stronger and smarter variation that was probably the one that made the plan to attack Dragon fortress. After the initial face of the attack the guards that where stationed there at the time where about 50.000 and they had about 5000 mecha units. But when they started organising a counter attack they had already lost about 5000 men and 750 mecha units.
They tried to defend the fortress but with their strongest anti air weapons destroyed they had lost a great amount of strength. But they still had the advantage of the fortress defences and they fought with grate strength. And the closest forts along the wall also started sending reinforcement after they heard of the attack via the communication crystals. And now the entire country was waking up to fight of the attack and started sending support. But the wyvern leader ordered some wyverns together with the monsters that came with them to attack the wall and destroy entrances, roads and to delay/stop reinforcements from reaching Dragon fortress.
The current king my grandfather also came to aide dragon fortress but he knew that we could not win the battle. The best they could do right now was to brake the wyverns encirclement and help the soldiers in Dragon fortress escape. And he started to try to punch a hole through the wyvern encirclement to secure the main tunnel.
Inside dragon fortress the commanders (or what was left of them) reserved the order of the king to hold on and to try to escape thou the main tunnel. While the commanders did not like the order they knew that it was the only way some of them where going to come out of this alive. From the first attack the wyverns had been killing them by using there superior¡¯s speed and manoeuvrability to always outnumber their opponent in combat and the army was suffering greatly form the attacks. While the soldiers still took down a lot of wyverns sometimes with suicidal attacks they were obviously losing at a steady pace.
When the king finally broke down though the encirclement, he led left half his men to secure this escape route and he led the other half through the tunnel to help the trapped forces escape. When he emerged from the other side he fourth his way through the monsters and wyverns to meet up with the trapped forces. Of course the trapped forces also fought their way toward the king and when they met up everyone started escaping via the secured path. Bu then the leader of the wyverns came together with a huge amount of wyverns and the king and the reaming forces fourth on their way to retreat. And the king fought with the leader to the wyverns and the king stabbed the left eye of the wyvern the scream of the wyvern was ear shatteringly powerful and resounded throughout the death filed valley. And when the wyvern counterattacked the king was mortally wounded and was taken away by his soldiers.
After that the leader of the wyverns retreated but the other wyverns and monsters continued their assault. Our forces retreated through the tunnel and blew up the valley side entrances to stop the monsters form following them. They all retreated till they were out and more or less safe. The king that was on his deathbed ordered his generals to set up a defensive line to stop the furred advance of the monsters the generals and then they left him with great sadness. And the king comforted his queen that was pregnant with their son (my father) and told her to be strong. A day later the king dyed, the king was buried in the royal tombs somewhere in a secret location in the kingdom.
The losses of both sides where huge the army lost around:

And the estimated losses of the wyverns where:

Following the last order of the king, the generals set up a defensive line to make sure that the wyverns could not take more land. This worked more or less but the main reason that the wyverns did not launch a new attack is because they had lost a lot of their comrades and underlings plus they accomplished their original goal to take the mountains. The wyverns started destroying any manmade structures around the mountains to make sure that no defensive structures could be used in a war against the wyverns. And all structures also includes the wall, the wyverns used guerrilla tactics to take the wall apart bit by bit. This would eventually last for fifty years till they had destroyed the wall in a one hundred kilometre radius around the mountains.
The current situation:
Currently the wall and the defensive line are well defended and not many monsters are able to brake trough. And from the past failure we have learned how to strengthen our defences. Almost immediately after the ¡°war¡± with the wyverns ended our country had started the development of anti-air weapons that did not need the massive mana requirements that could only be supplied by a flying ship core. They have made improvements over the years and now the wall is well defended against aerial attacks. But the magical weapons are still bulky and if we make them smaller they will not have enough firepower. So the weapons can¡¯t be taken to the field and cannot effectively be used in a offensive agent the wyverns.
And now the wyverns can also not attack without losing a lot of their forces in the process. But we also can¡¯t attack them because they use the mountain for their defences and that means that we can¡¯t just march in with our army and defeat them with sheer force of numbers plus the wyverns are not the only monster that live in that mountain.
So now it the ¡°war¡± has been at a deadlock for a least four hundred years with both sides unwilling to lose a massive amount of forces in a battle that they might not even win. But now the wyverns are planning and preparing for another war. And that is strange because they have no reason to do attack. they have been fine in then mountain for more than five hundred years so why attack now? I know that we are not as strong as them but still if they would go all out they would probably lose half their forces so why?

I leave my temporary home/base and head out the gate and follow the tunnel till I am finally on the other side of the mountain. I look around and see a massive valley and when I look forward I can see the other side of the circular valley. The other side is far away I estimate it is about a hundred kilometre away from here (for the scale of Edrana look at the: Map + current location spoiler at the bottom of the page). I clime a high point and look around the valley. In the distance I see old buildings that are overgrown by nature, to the right I see the old road and a collapsed gate. The gate was probably form the main tunnel and the soldiers probably destroyed it when the held their last stand 500 years ago. After looking around a bit more I see the remains of the three flying ships that where downed in the initial attack. The once mighty ships now lay there decaying.
I start walking over the land wile my drones map the area around me and also look out for any monsters that come close. I walk toward the road the road itself is still in good condition probably because it was mad form ceramic and remained unused for such a long time. On and close to the road I find very old skeletons most of them are already half decayed and overgrown by nature. there are also skeletons of wyverns and other monsters, these skeletons are probably from when the soldiers retreated from the fortress. In the bushes I see an old mecha and I look into at it, it was also ripped open like the once I found in the tunnels and the core was taken.
I expected as much and I keep following the patch of carnage. On the way I check any mecha but they are all the same. The war upcoming war with the wyverns will be coming soon and I am thinking about what our options are.
We can¡¯t take away from the army in the south, because of the war between Ufemus and Oneutharia and they would probably take advantage of the weakness in out border to take our country and get behind the defensive line of their enemy.
We have a limited amount of mecha and repairing/upgrading costs a lot of time and money and the worst part is once their broken the wyverns will probably rip out the core and steal it and that means that we lose another core and we can¡¯t get more of them. Well at least till I figure out how to make them.
We can¡¯t send any flying ships because the defence of the southern border would weaken. And even if we could sent both of the flying ships there is a large chance that they would be destroyed. And rebuilding one of them with the current amount of mechanics and artificers would probably take a year or more and the amount of needed resources is also huge.
Well probably I will need to upgrade some of the equipment but I must also make sure that it douse not fall in the wrong hands. Hmm¡ I can use some blood magic to make a certain identification system and program the soul stones to only work when a person with my seal uses it. But then I still need people I can trust to use it well that is for later right now I must map these mountains and find out how many monsters there are.
After following the carnage for a while I leave the road and head toward one of the ruins. When I arrive I see a very old village. Dragon fortress was very special in some ways one of those things that made it special was because of the size fortress there was more than enough space to make into farmland and that would make the fortress self-sufficient. Most of the villagers that live in the villages inside the fortress where farmers and family of the soldiers and technicians that defended the fortress.
Most of the houses have collapsed and rotten away and only a few buildings are still standing because they were made from ceramic stone. There are also a few skeletons laying around but not many. Most of the people probably fled from this village to one of the army bunkers and hopefully left with the retreating soldiers. It is late and I decide to sleep in one of the old homes. I walk in and I look around, there is not much left of the furniture most of it has already rotten away or have been broken by monsters. I put a ward on the door and lay down some hides and my sleeping bag I eat and go to bed.
Part 4
I wake up in the morning and pack up my stuff. When I am about to walk out of the door I see a dead monster on the flour it was a good thing that I set up the ward. I look around outside for a bit and find a high tower. I climb up the tower and look around from my vantage point.
I am currently in the south-western part of the valley with the main road to the left of me. The valley had a lot of ruined villages and military buildings and in the distance probably in the middle of the valley there is a big lake with some islands in it. The biggest ruin is also on the biggest of those islands and there are also a lot of wyverns flying around their as if they are guarding the islands. It is probably the place that the highest ranking wyverns live because while there are a lot of wyverns there it is far too small to accommodate all wyverns.
I clime down the tower and think, while I can go to the island directly and I would be able to get a lot of information it will be very dangers and I am not confident that I can take on so many wyverns. I can also scout the valley and search for a smaller wyvern nest and get information there. One way or the other I need to map the valley and get try to find out how many monsters are under the wyverns command. Well it is time to start, I send out my drones and start mapping.
