Shilla had slowly built up their commerce through their ports on the southeastern part of the continent and now was the most wealthy human kingdom. Shilla''s military boasted of some of the most talented mages and knights throughout the continent and it was not far off to say that Shilla was the strongest kingdom. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joseph Kaizer was the General of the Shilla Kingdom''s army. He was renown as the "Unbeatable Lion" throughout out the Continent. He had been victorious throughout several campaigns even when victory and survival seemed bleak at best. After many wars and victories, he had finally been acknowledged and raised to the position of General. On a clear night with the two blue moon shining brightly down within the Shilla Imperial palace, he was staring with disbelief at the scene in front of him. Six Imperial Guards were currently on the ground moaning. In the middle of the chaos, there was a huge white dire wolf that was covered in ice instead of fur. The dire wolf was glaring at Joseph. While seeing this scene, Joseph started to feel sweat forming on his forehead. As if the night was whispering to him, he suddenly heard a voice. As he strains his eyes, he notices a eighteen year old male. The same eighteen year old male that had been summon to his world with the hero. The same eighteen year old who had just threw a tantrum within the palace demanding that he be sent back to his original world. Many of the nobles and officers within the palace looked at this same child with sneer and contempt as they believed he was just an unfortunate weakling. Joseph inwardly laughed at himself and the others as they had been deceived by this kid that he was just a weak human. He and the others could not see that the child in front of them was instead a devil, a monster that should never be messed with. While Fenrir slowly backs off while glaring a Joseph, he suddenly gains courage to say "You devil, just what are you?!" The child looks up with suprise from petting Fenrir as if he just now notices Joseph. He seems to ponder for a moment before stating "Lee Hyun, a Summoner" Hey everyone, this is the very first fan fic I did that I originally posted on japtem. I figured that I would post here to get more feedbacks and reviews. Well hope you all enjoy this series! Chapter 1: Summon to a New World Lee Hyun and Hyun Jin had been walking home after basketball practice. They were both in their third year of high school. As they were joking around with each other and talking about what college they would go to, Lee Hyun suddenly felt a disturbance around both of them. Lee Hyun immediately tried to cast a barrier around them but was an instant too slow and felt himself being dragged into the disturbance and sees everything go dark. He comes back to when he starts hearing Hyun Jin''s voice asking Lee Hyun if he''s alright. Lee Hyun keeps his eye''s closed while slowly sending out his mana to his surroundings to get a feel for their current predicament. After completing this task, Lee Hyun opens his eyes to see his friend looking as if he was relieved. Lee Hyun then asks "You alright man?" "Ya I am. I was worried man you were out for a while there man." "Thanks for the concerns. So where are we?" "I''m not sure, it looks like we''re in some chamber. Look at the light around the room, They''re floating as if magic" Damn, Lee Hyun thought. Unlike Lee Hyun, Hyun Jin was a normal human, albeit quite a bit more gifted, so he did not know of the existence of magic. Great, who''s the idiot that left magic in the wide open for everyone to see?! You see, Lee Hyun was part of a underground society of Summoners. Summoners were a type of mage that used magic to defeat mythical creatures and beings. Once you have defeated them, you earn the right to earn a This story originates from Royal Road. You been out of it for a little while now" "Ya sorry about that, was just thinking about a couple things" As we continued talking, I suddenly felt multiple presences through the mana that I had deployed earlier. I secretly start preparing the incantation to summon Fenrir, as it is the lowest level out of my summons but has the quickest cast time. Just as I complete my preparations the heavy wooden oak door suddenly slowly opens. From the entrance a contingency of guards come in with a middle aged man in the middle. They do not have their weapons drawn and their face are calm. Figuring that there would be no battle, I cancel my incantation. The middle aged man begins to speak to us, but all we h ear is gibberish. The man must have noticed our confused looks as he suddenly casts magic upon himself and then restates "Welcome, O Great Hero from another world! We beseech you to aid us in defeating the monstrous demon army!" Both our mouths open wide and say bewilderingly "What the hell, is this a Manga?!?!" Chapter 2: Ridiculous Request The location is now within the audience room. The middle aged man from earlier seemed to be the king of Shilla, Shushin Lee the III. Me and Hyun Jin listened to his ridiculous tale that seemed to come straight out of some Japanese light novel. Something about the demon race is going to invade and attempt to conquer all of the continent. That even though the major races of human, dwarves, and elves had forged an alliance they were still outnumbered. The demons seem to have twice the physical capabilities of the major races. I just stand there dumbfounded by this generic like plot but Hyun Jin beside me looks like a kid on the morning of Christmas. Well its not like I can''t sympathize with him. He never knew of the existence of magic and fairy tale like different races, even I was very intrigued to see the elves and dwarves. Beside the seated king on his right was his wife the queen Titania. She appeared very regal and noble - like. She fit the appearance of a queen perfectly and you could tell all the nobles and officers within the hall admired and respected her. On the other side was the prince Hwaryeong. He had a slim figure with looks that can be called with no doubt handsome. He had a dignified aura around him, but he appeared as if he was disgruntled. The king was continuing with his explanation and then stated "Young hero from another world, would you please lead our armies to victory against the sinister demons?" Hyun Jin beside me seemed like he would answer yes immediately, but before he can I step up and say "Excuse me, let me ask a question" All the nobles and officers glare at me disapprovingly as if saying why is this loser who accidently got summoned with the hero daring to speak?! That''s right. It seems as though the summoning was suppose to teleport only my best friend, Hyun Jin. Truthfully I am very greatful that I was summoned along with him. He is way too nice and would be used by these so called aristocrats. Also when the time comes, I can protect him from danger. Truthfully I owe him a lot. When we were both kids and training at my father''s dojang (korean for dojo) he saved my little sisters life when she almost got ran over by a drunk driver. Now I am very over protective of my little sis so I feel as if I owe a huge debt to him. Well back to the conversation. Once I see that the king will let me speak I then say "So, let me see if I got this right. You, without our consent, FORECIBELY summoned us to your world to risk OUR lives to save YOUR people that we have NEVER met? Is that correct?" The king and queen look at Hyun Jin and I uneasily. I guess they haven''t thought about that. The prince glares at me furiously for talking to his father like that. The officers have placed their hands on the hilt of their swords, ready to pull it out and attack me for my insolence towards their king. Even though I see that I''m not really scared. Fenrir and myself can take all of them to at once in less than a minute, but we won''t get into that right now. Hyun Jin besides me whispers urgently *Bro that was too harsh. "Dear friend of the hero. I really did not think of that and for that I am sorry. We are, however in the worst crisis in the history of the world. We were desperate and even if it may sound ignorant, I still request both of you to save our world." I replied to him by saying "Why should we? You have forcibly taken us away from our lives in our world. We were both happy with our lives and our families that we loved but you took us away from that. I demand that you send us back immediately. " The king looked at me with a complex expression. He didn''t know what to do. It was not as if he could force them. The prince and the officers in the hall were letting out blood lust toward me stating what they wanted to do. The king then states that "I apologize but I do not have the means to transport you back to your world. The only way you will be able to return is meeting with the God''s after you defeat the demon army." I look at the king dumfoundedly. You got to be kidding me. Hyun Jin whispered to me at that moment *Hey man, let''s just help them out. The faster we complete this the faster we can go back. Also I feel bad for them and want to help them....* *Haa.... how''d I know you say that? It''s not like we have any other choice. But you got to promise me three things* *One you must be careful. Your life is more important than anyone else.* *Second if I tell you to, you must run. No questions asked.* *Third you must finally ask my sister out.* *... I understand the first two but why the third?!?!* *...No questions* I knew for a long time that Hyun Jin and has like my little sister. My little sis also likes him but both are too damn shy to ask each other out. If it was any other guy, I would never let my sister go to them because it''s too much a waste but if it''s Hyun Jin, I feel like it''ll be alright. *...sigh fine..* "Sire we agree to save all races from the demons" Everyone in the audience hall breathes a sigh of relief and look at him in admiration. I even see a few noble ladies looking at him with wanting eyes. Step back, you fiends!! He''s my sister''s! After the king happily thanks us for helping, we head back towards the rooms we were given earlier. As we are walking and going over what happened today, I suddenly feel the presence of seven blood lusts. I stopped for a moment to see if they would attack us, but it seems they weren''t after the both of us. They were after me. Hyun Jin turns around and asks me with a confused voice "You alright man? Why''d you stop?" "I just remembered I left something in the hall you go ahead man I''ll see you in the morning." "You sure? I can go with you" "Yeah just go ahead you must be exhausted" "Alright man see you in the morning" As Hyun Jin leaves I quietly meld into the shadows and await my trailers. Chapter 3: The War Council? Joseph Kaizer was confused. He had been tailing the hero and his friend with the thought of teaching the friend a little respect towards the king. He wasn''t going to hurt him too badly since he was the hero''s friend but he''d give him a scare. But while they were trailing them, suddenly at the veranda he couldn''t sense the friend anymore. He thought to himself *what''s going on?! How''d he disappear as if into thin air* "Are you looking for me?" ".....!!" As if he had appeared from the underworld, Lee Hyun suddenly appeared from the shadows. "So what business do you fine gentlemen have with me?" While Lee Hyun was speaking, Joseph finally regained his composure and said "You, you were way too disrespectful towards the king. It is the adult''s duty to educate children so I am here to give you a lesson" "Pfft..... you and what army?" Veins start to pop out on Joseph''s forehead and he says menacingly "Men, teach the child his lesson in manners" As the Imperial guards were slowly approaching Lee Hyun, he began chanting his invocation "The Dire Wolf who eats gods, appear before your master and devour his enemies!Fenrir!" The guards stopped for a second due to the strange incantation they never heard and in front of Lee Hyun the space became as cold as in the northern mountains. Shards of ice started to appear in the surrounding and started to mold into the shape of a huge wolf. A howl is suddenly heard and in between Lee Hyun and the guards appeared a huge white ice wolf. Joseph and the guards were shocked at the appearance of the wolf and they started to feel dread as they heard Lee Hyun say "Fenrir, don''t kill them. Just.... punish them a little to teach them a lesson ok?" Fenrir turned around and nodded his head at his master''s command with a wicked grin on its face that made Joseph and guards start to sweat beads... and the next 10 minutes the imperial palace was filled with screams before Lee Hyun was satisfied. He looks at Joseph after noticing he was still there and says "Don''t ever speak of my powers. If I hear anything I will let loose Fenrir to hunt all of you." Everyone nods their heads furiously. Lee Hyun, satisfied, releases Fenrir and goes back to his room to sleep. It had been a long day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next morning a war council was held. Representatives from each race are in attendance. King Shu Shin begins the meeting with introducing Hyun Jin and I. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I have the honor to introduce you to the hero summoned yesterday, Hyun Jin and his friend Lee Hyun. Like we have agreed upon before, the hero will lead our armies to defend and defeat the demon army." You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author. It is a honor to meet you all" "....name''s Lee Hyun" While we are being introduced, all the representatives begin to study us, seeing for themselves if we are indeed strong. One of the dwarves blurts out with a face full of doubt? They are just children!!" The other representatives nod their heads thinking that kids were not suited for the work. I feel a quick wind and suddenly Hyun Jin is in front of the dwarf who just spoke with the dagger on the dwarf''s belt now pressed against his neck from in front by Hyun Jin. Hyun Jin smiles at the dwarf and asks with blood lust "Am I still too young master dwarf? Scary.... Everyone shouts in suprise. Hyun Jin had moved at such speeds where even their trained eyes couldn''t follow him. Dance of the Brilliant Moonlight It was one of the advanced foot step skills taught by my family. Hyun Jin had been training at our dojang since he was six and was our sword styles'' most brilliant practioner. Well that would be the case if I wasn''t there. The dwarf slowly nods his head and then Hyun Jin retracts the dagger and hands it to him before returning to my side. Everyone still has shocked reactions on their face until a female elf questions my abilities. The first word that comes to my mind when looking at her was goddess. She has long flowing silver hair that reaches the small of her back. Her measurements are perfect. Her smile, while asking the question, more beautiful than the moon. I stare at her with a blank face until Hyun Jin coughs right beside me to bring me back to reality. "*cough cough* Well what do you have in mind Ms...." "Dal, Dal Rin. Well I would like to see both of you in action in real combat so I wanted to suggest that we go on a monster hunt to test the new arrivals'' skills. We will send one representative from each race to evaluate them. I will go in representation of the elves. Does everyone agree?" King Shu Shin looks at Dal Rin with a shocked face "But.. but princess Dal Rin..." So she''s a princess huh? "No buts your majesty. Then everyone is in agreement. See you all at the front gates at dawn tomorrow~" After she says what she wants, Dal Rin leaves the council while everyone left just has a stunned face. Well it looks like tomorrow will be interesting. Chapter 4: The Cave of Sorrow Lee Hyun The following morning at dawn me and Hyun Jin arrives at the main gates. Hyun Jin greets the three representatives with a cheerful voice while I just lazily wave my hand while letting out a big yawn. Dal Rin looks at us amusingly and then asks "Lee Hyun, you sleep late? You seem to be drowsy still" I glare at Hyun Jin who just turns his face sideways while whistling. Last night right as I about to go to bed Hyun Jin came and knocked on my door. Being tired, I decide to ignore him and go to sleep. After a few moments I hear a large *BOOOOOM* and see that the door has been kicked open. Hyun Jin walked in and interrogates me for hours about Dal Rin. He seemed very interested as I have never shown any interest a girl before. After he seemed satisfied from his interrogation, he declares that it is almost dawn and that its time to head to the gate. Damn you Hyun Jin, you stole my most holy sleep time! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hyun Jin As Lee Hyun continues to glare at me, I secretly laugh inside of my head. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!! HAHAHAHA! Ever since he has found out I have feelings for his little sister, Ji Hyun, he has been nagging me non-stop to ask her out on a date. Being shy I have been waiting for the right time and have been terrorized by him. He has even made me promise to go on a date with Ji Hyun when we get back! Sigh.... While these thoughts are going through my head, Dai Rin begins to introduce the other two representatives. "The dwarf over here to my right is Hades, the commander of the dwarven forces." "How yall doing, I heard what you did to my little brother at the Council yesterday." Shit, that dwarf yesterday was his brother?! "BWAHAHAHA no need to make that kind of face lad. I''m actually thankful for teaching that dung a lesson in manners." Whew, at least he didn''t demand a duel or something. Dal Rin then continues her introduction with the human on her other side. "Then the human here is Joseph Kaizer. He is the commander of the human forces and is called the "Unbeatable Lion" for never being defeated in a battle" Joseph greets me with curtesy but when he turned to Lee Hyun he seems to become nervous and begins to stutter. "Good...Good Morning Mr. Lee Hyun. It...it is an hon.. honor to go on a mission with you" Dal Rin and I curiously look at Joseph Kaizer before turning our gaze to Lee Hyun. He just shrugs his shoulders with his arms out in answer of our questioning face. Dal Rin has begun to put her pack on and states "Alright Gentlemen, it is time we start to head off. We will be heading to the Dark Forest and go to the Cave of Sorrow. Once we arrive there we will test our heroes'' strength. Even though the monsters may be a little stronger than what we''d normally test with, since we are there to provide assistance if needed, we should be fine~~" Joseph looks dubiously at Lee Hyun when Dal Rin said they would provide assistance as needed to us. Hmm, it seems like I''m going to have to have another interrogation session with Lee Hyun. I thought it''d be a creepy place full of dangerous beasts, but we''ve only ran into a couple of beasts that I took care of quickly. When we reach the entrance of the Cave of Sorrow, we decide to take a break. Dal Rin then begins to explains about the Cave of Sorrow to Lee Hyun and I. "So the Caves of Sorrow is a caved filled within high level beasts such as sphinxes and Terror Bats, but since the three representatives are here, I want you all to know we won''t let you guys die. Also the actual owner of this cave is a Green Dragon named Galahad but he has holed himself within the lower level of this cave and never comes out. We will only stay on the top floor so we won''t see him. Now are there any questions?" "Nope", "We''ll be fine" Answer the both of us. After a few more moments of rest we all get back up and begun to walk within the cave. The first group of beasts that we run into were six terror bats. Lee Hyun steps up front and lazily says "I''ll take care of these weaklings, so you guys just rest~" Both Dal Rin and hades seem surprised at Lee Hyun calling terror bats weaklings, but Joseph and I just look at the terror bats with sympathy. They won''t even know what hit them. Lee Hyun softly calls out "Dance of the Moonlight" and becomes a blur. Hades opens his eyes wide in surprise as Lee Hyun seems to have vanished into thin air, and appears suddenly in the middle of the group of terror bats. The terror bats seems startled by Lee Hyun''s sudden appearance in the middle of group. They quickly gain their focus and rush at him from all sides. Dal Rin shouts out "Lee Hyun, get out of there its dangerous!" with a serious voice but I just watch with a bored expression as Lee Hyun states his next sword art. "Moonlight Sword Form Two, Twin Crescent Moons" Within the middle of the terror bats, the semi-circular white light appears to create a full circle. Lee Hyun then begins to put his sword hack into his sheath which confounded the already confused representatives when suddenly something falls off from the terror bats. The representatives mouth drop open wide when they see it''s the terror bats'' heads. Joseph begins to start blurting out something weird. "But... But aren''t you a..." *glare* Lee Hyun glares at Joseph and he immediately shuts up. The rest of us looks at this with confusion as we were curious what he was about to say but it looks like he won''t finish his sentence. Dal Rin then goes to carnage area to study the terror bats. She notices that the cuts are so cleans that there is hardly any blood. This surprise her greatly and looks at Lee Hyun with shock. Curious the rest of start to walk toward them when we suddenly hear a large sound. *CRACK* *CRACK CRACK* ... All of us looks around confusedly before we see the cracks around the area Lee Hyun and Dal Rin are. Lee Hyun quickly grabs Dal Rin who becomes surprised at the action but it is too late. The floor collapses and the rest of us watches as if in slow motion as the both of them begin to fall in the hole..... "LEE HYUN!!!!!!!!!!!!" Chapter 5: Hyun Jins very own Pe... I mean Protector *Well shit, that was dumb of me* I silently whisper to myself as I fall down the hole. I had been so engrossed by Dal rin''s cute shocked face that i had noticed the moment that cracks appeared on the floor. Truthfully I could summon "him" right now to fly out of this predicament but Dal Rin is here too and she would surely notice it so I didnt. As we get closer to the bottom I notice that there''s a lake beneath us and prepare to dive in. As we both fall into the lake, I start to swim and begin going back to the surface when I notice Dal Rin has passed out from the impact with the lake''s surface. Since she has passed out and I don''t feel like swimming all the way down to get her, I begin to start my incantation. *Oh beautiful lady who is the queen of the seas, who''s power within the water has no peers, appear beside my side and sweep away all my foes, Aquarius!* Within the water a whirlpool appears and from within a goregeous mermaid appears. She looks toward me and asks me within my mind *My master, what is thy wish for thee?* *Go down and bring that elf to the surface* *oh that lady is very beautiful my lord. I am starting to get jealous* *shut up and just retrieve her* *sigh, undestood master* Because of defeating Aquarius on earth I have made a contract and received the ability to breathe under water so I just patiently wait while she bring Dal Rin back. Once she does I carry her back to the dry land. *Thank you Aquarius, you worked hard* *It was not much, my master. But instead next time if you could summon for more personal matters....* I ignore the perverts words and release her. I walk towards where Dal Rin laying down and stop for a second. Her face and hair that is drenched is too stunning. Her clothes that are drenched... well you get the picture. I immediately stop myself from thinking too deep about it. Go back to where you came from! You old pervert sage! I notice as I near her that she is not breathing so I immediately rush towards her and start to perform CPR. After about 30 seconds she throws up a large amount of water from her mouth. She starts coughing and finally regains her concious. She looks at me and says "Thank you for saving me, but what''s a old pervert sage?" Damn, she heard?! "Aha ahaha you''re welcome and it''s nothing" As I was laughing akwardly she tilts her head and I swear a question mark appears above her head. Anyways now that she back to normal I began to scan our surrounding when a very large voice appeared. *ROAAAAARRRR* "What foolish creatures dare to appear within the domain of I, the great Galahad?!?!" Once we hear the dragon, we suddenly realized we have fallen 8nto the lower level of the cave. Dal Rin froze of in terror and she begins to shake from fear. I suddenly grab her shoulder and she jumps due to her surprise. She turns around and looks at me when I say "It''s alright. You don''t have to be afraid I''ll take care of it" She looks at me with disbelief from me stating something ridiculous as handling a dragon. Truthfully though, this is going to be a piece of cake since I have already taken down "that" dragon on earth. I even had the sudden idea that I could make this dragon into Hyun Jin''s summon. Unfortunately I will not always be there when he is in trouble so I would feel a lot better if he had a creature he could summon to defend him. I walk up to Galahad with a carefree attitude and say to him with a lazy voice Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Anyways I planned on "training" you before giving you to Hyun Jin anyways so just take it without resistance ok?" Galahad couldn''t take it anymore and started rushing at Lee Hyun with the mind of trampling him, but suddenly, Lee Hyun appeared in front of his head which 20 meter, 20 METERS above the ground and calls out his special move "YAKUZA KICK" Yes , it was the same exact kick that was done by the thugs in japan. The major difference, however, is that this kick had enough force to send Galahad flying 15 meters backwards. And so began the beating so bad that we will not mention it because it was too pitiful for Galahad. Dal Rin this whole time could not close her mouth from the shock of the scene in front of her. Sure, Galahad was only a young dragon who had lived so far for 100 years but he was still a high dragon from the forest guardian race. Normally it would take a company of elite troops who fought risking their lives and losing many men to take down a young high dragon but here was a young man who was beating Galahad with a bored face. "Just what is he?!" After beating Galahad up for about ten minutes, Galahad had begun to yield. "Human, you are very strong" "Shut up and just keep getting beat up" 30 minutes later "Human, I admit defeat!" "You still haven''t gotten beaten up enough eh?" "?!" An hour later.... "Master!! I yield to your command!!'''' "How can I trust you, a dragon?" "?!?!?!?!" Two hour later "Whew that was a good light exercise~~" Galahad is sprawled out on the ground not moving. I walk up carefree to him and say "Oi~ you''ll become my best friend''s pet right~?" "!! Yes master!! I''ll do anything so don''t beat me up!" "If you ever disobey him you know it won''t end with a light exercise right~?" "Yes master!" I finally turn around to Dal Rin who looked at Galahad with pity as if to say "You must have had it hard...." and say "Well its about time to go back up. Everyone must be worrying about us" Dal Rin looks at me with admiration and nods. We both get on Galahad''s back and fly back to the surface. ---------------------------------------------------------- Everyone stares at us in disbelief as we land in front of them. They had been panicking and trying to decide how to go save us when we suddenly flew out of the hole on Galahad. I look at them and say "hey guys~ we met the dragon and he told us he wanted to serve as Hyun Jin''s pe... I mean protector so we brought him along! Right Dal Rin?" "Huh?! Oh yeah right...." It was quite amusing to see a 20 ft tall young dragon acting like a puppy but geez I wonder why he was acting like that since we had departed the cave. Anyways after another hour we begin our journey to Roswell. It was a comfortable travel as it was currently spring and the weather felt amazing. The view that Hyun Jin and I see makes us sigh in amazement as there was almost no places that had this type of scenery on earth anymore. On the third day of travel, we finally arrive at Roswell. There were already a guard detail made up of elves and dwarves that inspected us and our documents before letting us into the town. We go immediately to our lodging and unpack our bags. Hyun Jin and I go downstairs and eat a quick bite before we retire for the night and begin preparation for the meeting tomorrow. Within the mayor''s audience room there was currently 11 beings. The three highest ranking officers for all three armies were in attendance including us. A5 the moment Hyun Jin and I were sitting beside each other while massaging our foreheads. SO EVERYONE SHUT UP AND TAKE YOUR SEAT" Everyone looks at me with a stunned face while slowly taking a seat. Immediately afterwards as Hyun Jin is about to begin speaking, a loud horn rings out throughout the town. The other choice was for when the battle begun to hastily take him and Dal Rin away from here. Of course they would be unhappy about this but I took their safety over all else. Now you must be curious why I added Dal Rin there but truthfully she had already become someone of great importance to me even though we haven''t know each other for long. I already knew that if I let her die I would regret it for the rest of my life so I decided to save her also noatter what. Every second is important!!" The commanders who had been arguing until just now all immediately go to gather all the Soldiers. Hyun Jin had immediately found out the only way to survive for some of them to survive and using his charisma had made everyone move. While we were having this conversation, Hyun Jin summoned Galahad. "Oh great protector of the forest, ye majestic dragon appear beside me and protect me from my enemies!" A roar is heard and suddenly Galahad appears. The Soldiers at first were shocked and hastily prepared to defend themselves but soon calmed down when they noticed him being friendly to Hyun Jin. "Galahad, take this message to Goryeo and inform the king of the upcoming danger" "But master!! I must stay by your side and defend you!!" "No Galahad, your mission is the more important one. After Galahad left, I look at Hyun Jin to see if he''s ready. He nods back to me when he suddenly yells "OPEN THE GATES!! CHAAAARGE!!!!" I urge my horse forward first into a cantop but before long into a full sprint. Behind me I hear the thundering sound of hooves. We charge towards the right flank who roars back at us in defiance. The right flank of the enemy is made up of goblins, orcs, and trolls. As we are about to clash against them, I leap off my horse and begin my sword form. "Moonlight Sword, 4th form, Meteor Falls!" I immediately put my sword out in front of me and accelerate tremendoundsly. I become so fast that a blaze surrounds me as if I was speeding through the atmosphere. I blaze through the front of the enemy quite easily and start to open a huge trail for everyone to follow. At first it seems like we might just succeed as we are quickly cutting through the flank, but slowly I start to lose speed and the path I open becomes smaller and smaller. Some demons are starting to recover and pick us off one by one. I furiously try to pick my speed back up but it is fruitless. Suddenly right behind me I hear a scream. "KYAAAAAH" I immediately stop and look behind me. Dal Rin had been unseated from her horse and was slowly getting surrounded by the demons. The woman I now noticed that I loved was about to be killed. My mind immediately goes blank from the anger that begins to surge into me. Forget it. Forget it all. Chapter 7: The Masters Anger Dal Rin While everyones arguing during the meeting I slowly get a headache. I inwardly smile and think to push off the job as mediator to the hero. I go over there and force Hyun Jin due to his kind nature to stop everyone from arguing. It might not be the best plan, but it gives us hope even if a little. As I finish preparing for the most likely to be suicide charge. I notice Lee Hyun in the front. After everyone has finished their preparation, we finally begun what is most likely our last charge. As we were about to hit the front ranks Lee Hyun suddenly jumped off his horse. Fear immediately runs throughout my body as I become afraid for him, but then he begins his sword art and opens a path for us behind him. As we easily starting to pass through the right flank, I secretly get a tiny speck of hope inside me that hey, we might just survive this. Slowly, but surely however, Lee Hyun begins to lose speed and the Soldiers are getting picked off one by one. As I turn my head to the scream of one of them, I feel a sudden impact on my left and I fall to the ground with a small screech. As I slowly get up I see that the demons are starting to circle around me. Ah, so this is how im going to die. I wish I had spent more times with my family and friends, more time with Lee Hyun. Ah ra? Where did Lee Hyun come from. As I smile at those thoughts I pull out my sword so that I can take down as many of them with me as I can when I suddenly heard a terrifying incantation that sent shivers down my spine. Chaper 9: The Festival Three day after I finished my explanation to Dal Rin and Hyun Ji, we have finally arrived back in Goryeo. Her hair color was silver. One of the High Elves stepped forward. He began by bowing his head before he spoke to the lady. "Oh lady from another world, We have summoned you here to be a hero that will assist us in defeating the demon army, the biggest threat to all of the races in the continent''s history. When we arrived at the forest of Rivenshire, there was a group of elves awaiting us. There was about a total of 30. The elves all had long blonde hair that reached all the way to their backs. Their armors were all polished and sharp looking. They all also wore a full helmet with the face part open except for a thin portion protecting their nose. They all carried a weapon that had a blade on each end and a great bow strapped to their back. The overall appearance was very similar to a movie I watched back on earth about midgets taking a ring to a mountain to destroy it. While contemplating on this irony, who I assume to be the commander steps forward and greets us. "Welcome to the Kingdom of Rivenshire, hero nim and his party. Princess Dal Rin, it is good to see you again your highness. The king has asked me to escort you all to the capital. If you do not mind, please follow us" After his greeting, we take off. I''m glad that we weren''t a army invading the elven kingdom because if we were, we would have already gotten lost 15 times. Everything in the forest looked exactly the same. The path we took was very discreetly hidden that if you didn''t know there was one and didn''t know the signs to look for, you would never find it. After traveling for what seemed forever, we finally see Moon City. The view was breathtaking. As you would guess, all the buildings were built in harmony with the surrounding nature. The atmosphere here was very soothing and I could feel ancient mana that seems to have existed for millenials here. Hyun Jin also let out a sigh of admiration as he looked at the city while we walked through it. The citizens looked at us while we passed with interest. The children ran up to us to get a better look as they hadn''t seen many humans before. After a short walk, the palace comes into view. The palace was very impressive to look at. The walls were made in conjuction with the surrounding trees, making it look very natural instead of being made. The palace also seemed to be in harmony with the environment, making it feel as if it belonged there. The main portion of the palace seemed to have been built around the large tree in the middle. I could feel that it was a very ancient tree that spread mana to the surrounding. So this was where the mana I felt in the city came from. Even though this palace wasn''t built with fancy stones or tall like the Imperial Palace in Goryeo it had its own feeling of elegance and royalty. By the time we reached the gates, it had become night already. In front of the gate was an elderly looking elf. When Dal Rin saw the elf, she immediately dashed toward him. "Uncle!!" After a few minutes, the rest of the party arrived. The first to enter was the elderly elf and Dal Rin. Dal Rin right now was all decked out in princess clothing, which was devastating. She has a white dress on that leaves the shoulders bare and the dress reaches down to her ankle. She has light makeup that supplements her face perfectly. I basically just stare at her as she was the most beautiful thing I had even seen. *Baam* "....is there a reason you hit my head, Hyun Jin?" "Was trying to bring you back to reality" "There should have been more peaceful alternatives..." "....Truthfully I just felt like hitting you seeing that stupid face..." "..." While we were having our own conversation, finally the king and the queen arrived. The queen was a very pretty lady. She had long green hair that reached the bottom of her back and had a nice figure. Instead of saying that she was Dal Rin''s mother, I would be more inclined to say she looked more like her older sister. I could understand where she got her looks from. The king himself was no pushover. He had a regal type of face with a body that seemed like he trained daily still. During the meal we had light conversations with the king and queen asking how we were adjusting to this world. After about 30 minutes we had finished eating and the dishes were taken away. The king then faced toward the hero and began speaking about the reason he had invited us. "Hero, actually the reason I asked for you to come all the way here was to evaluate a talented young child we have. We have set up an exhibition where yoy can see her talents. Draconians. They were cousins of the dragons in this world. They were ground creatures that didnt have wings like their cousins but dont let that fool you. Even though they weren''t as strong, their strength still equaled that of a greater demon. After the conversation we headed toward the arena that had been built for this occasion. While on our way, I make my way to beside Dal Rin and ask her some questions. "Hey, are there really anybody that is that strong among your people? I was under the impression that there were only a few people throughout the history of your world that had that much strength...." "I''m suprised too.... I never heard of someone that strong... After we take our seats the king signals toward the captain, who opened the gate. The Draconian appeared from the entrance with a company of guards surrounding it. At the moment there was a piece of cloth that was covering it''s eyes and some type of device that covered it''s mouth. On the other side, a small girl in a cloak that covered her face and body appeared. Eh?? Why does that back look so familiar... On the king''s command, the guards removed the cloth and device from the Draconian''s head. It sees the little girl and charges at her. The girl just calmly stays in her position without moving. Fearing that she might have frozen in fear, Hyun Jin and I prepare to go save her when she begins speaking an incantation. While trying to deceive myself, I turn around toward Hyun Jin to see if he noticed. He currently had a pale face while looking intently at the girl also. He definitely was probably going through the same thought process as I did just now, except for her summon part. While this was occuring in the booth, the battle was going poorly for Arion. Even though he was a mythical unicorn, it seemed as though it was still young. Compared to the other unicorns I had encountered, it was much smaller, as if it was still a child. Anyways, it''s power was nowhere as strong as a adult unicorn and it was losing. The Draconian, feeling victory was near, lashed out its tail and hit Arion, sending him flying to the wall. It then headed toward the little girl. The girl panicked and tried to cast some spells but due to her unstable mind, wasn''t able to properly cast one. The Draconian reached the girl and sent her flying with the impact of it''s body. As the girl was flying through the air, the hood finally started to fall off. The royalty in the booth had started to panic, but I just focused my attention on her. Silver hair started to show from the cowl. Hyun Jin and I froze before we both started at the same time. ""JI HYUN AH!!!!" Hyun Jin jumped out the booth and ran after Ji Hyun to catch her before she fell. Feeling anger at the Draconian that had injured my dear sister, but even more at myself for not noticing right away it was her, I began a summoning. "Oh King of all Kings!! He then became a blur once again before appearing before me. ¡°My liege, I have completed thee¡¯s task. What would thee like for me to do next?¡± ¡°Be on standby, I need to have a quick word with some people over there¡­¡± ¡°I shall obey¡± After saying that I slowly start walking over to the booth where everyone was looking at King Arthur then the Draconian and then back at King Arthur with shocked faces. From there, I began teaching the three by going over all the forms of the Moonlight Sword Forms. The first form was the Dance of the Brilliant Moonlight. This is a footwork movement where you moved so quickly that you left an afterimage where you were, just like a reflection of the moon in the water. The second form was the Twin Crescent Moons. This was an attack used when you were facing several enemies surrounding you. You would make two quick slashes that left two semicircular line drawn, attacking all of your enemies within a 360 degree radius. ¡°Next up, is the third form, Moon¡¯s Beams. This is where you release 6 quick slashes at your enemy. You aim for their knees, their elbows, the chest, and finally the neck. The advantage of this form is that it is very useful in a battle against a single entity. Depending on the situation, you can change the order of attacks and this form also uses the momentum of your slashes and magic to speed up your body and let you attack faster, Here now let me show you demonstration¡± I then show them an example of the form. I get into the stance. My left foot was out to the front while my right was about 6 inches behind it. My left hand was on the sword sheathe while I grabbed the sword tightly with my right. At first I just stay in that position as I try to gather pressure in my muscles that are already bent and magic to enforce my muscle, ready to spring out at any moment. The next instant, I burst forward. The first slash was toward the imaginary enemy¡¯s left knee. I use my moment to do a turn and aim this time at the enemy¡¯s right elbow and right knee. They looked pretty much like how anyone would think an Orc looked. The orcs were dressed with only a loin cloth covering their lower parts and each had an axe in their hands. They were currently surrounding three other humanoid figures. At a closer look, there were two adults and one child. The two adults were currently laying on the ground, with blood coming out from what was slashes by those orcs. Around them were no weapons, they didn¡¯t have anything to protect themselves with¡­ These adults were pretty tall themselves, around 6¡¯4 in height both. One of them was a male that was dressed up in a cotton shirt and some trousers. The other was a lady that had on a blue dress that covered all of her body except for her legs beneath the knee. Truthfully they were both good looking but what stood out about them were their unique features: rabbit ears. These people were the heard of beast people in this continent. The girl beside them that was pulling on their clothes, trying to wake them up while crying was really small. She must not have passed her 4th birthday yet. With her short arms, she was shaking her mom while desperately calling for her parents with large eyes that were filled with tears. ¡°PAPA!! MAMA!! WAKE UP!! JIAN IS SCWARED!! PAPA!! MAMA!! WAAAAAH!!¡± Seeing the child so pitiful, anger flew through my body. The orcs closed in on the little girl and one of them slowly raised their axe. ¡°Hyun Jin, I¡¯m heading over to that child, you take care of the rest till I get there¡± ¡°Sounds good Lee Hyun¡± With that brief conversation I use Dance of the Brilliant Moonlight and moved to in front of the child, blocking the downward swing of the axe. Surprised at the sudden appearance of me, the orc made a dumb look that would be it¡¯s last as it¡¯s head went rolling. ¡°Oii¡­. You bastards. You guys seem like you¡¯re enjoying yourself taking out someone weaker than you¡­.Let me return the favor!¡± With that, Hyun Jin and I massacred the orcs. We both swerved through their ranks with Dance of the Brilliant Moonlight, taking all the orcs in our surrounding out with one thrust or slash. While this was happening, Ji Hyun and Dal Rin went to the rabbit eared people. When we had finally taken out the last one, I headed towards them. When I reached them, before I could even ask, Ji Hyun with moist eyes slowly shook her heads. Ahhh¡­ so the parents really were dead¡­ Dal Rin right now was hugging the little child who was bawling her eyes out. The sound of the child crying was really heart wrenching, as she had lost what seemed like her parents. Picking up the adults, we slowly headed away from the scene filled with bodies and blood back towards the Capital of the elves. Chapter 13: Jian A/N: Boom, a double release of The Summoner today, hope you all enjoy it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After we had walked for about 15 minutes, Ji Hyun spoke up. ¡°Oppa, we should bury those poor adults¡­.¡± ¡°Yeah¡­. Let look for a good location¡± After that brief conversation, instead of heading straight back to the capital, we look for a good resting place for the two rabbit eared people. While searching, the sun started to go down and now the moon rose. After searching for a couple of hours, we finally found a good resting place. In a clearing where a small pond was located, moonlight was streaming down, making the scene look surreal. Ji Hyun uses her magic and creates two large holes to lay their bodies while I bring rocks out of the soil and create the tombstones, marking their location. As we laid the bodies into the holes, Jian begin to cry again. She desperately tried to go to her parent¡¯s side while the whole was filling up, covering their bodies. ¡°NWOOOOOO!!! After about a 20 minute search when we were starting to lose hope, I finally found one. At a shop that was very high end, I found a necklace with a very beautiful blue diamond in the middle. The way it shined and sparkled reminded me exactly of Jian¡¯s eyes. On the other side of the door, the King and Queen were currently seated in their thrones and patiently awaiting us. At the sight of Jian on my shoulder at first their eyes opened in surprised but them turned warm as they saw how cute she was. ¡°Your majesty, it has been a while, I hope you are well¡± ¡°Hero nim, I have been well. I heard you all found some trouble during your training. Is everyone okay?¡± ¡°Yes, your majesty, none of us received any injuries. We did, however, come to a site where Orcs were slaying some of the rabbit eared people and found this little girl on Lee Hyun¡¯s shoulder there¡± ¡°Ho¡­. That is most unfortunate. I will send some troops over to that area and provide support to any people there while clearing the area of Orcs¡± ¡°Thank you, your majesty. While scratching my head and feeling embarrassed, I speak up. ¡°Well¡­you guys saw what just happened. Sorry to ask for a meeting for no reason Your majesty and highness¡± ¡°It¡¯s fine. We were able to see such a cute girl, we are happy also. Is it alright if we see her sometimes too? Chapter 15: Nanny Right now, after the session with the king and queen, we had all moved to the meeting room , which somehow without my permission become my room...aaah my sacred ground have been defiled... Currently everyone had pulled up chairs while I sat on the bed with Jian on my lap. Something had been bothering me since what transpired at the audience hall so I bring it up. ¡°Um Jian ah?¡± ¡°Eung papa?¡± ¡°So why have you changed your way of calling me to papa?¡± ¡°Because Jian has nwo papa.... ¡° ¡°But Jian ah, I¡¯m still very young you know? Why don¡¯t you just keep calling me oppa?¡± ¡°Dwoes papa nwot want two be Jian¡¯s papa?...Dwoes papa hate Jian?¡± ....Critical Damage It really is too unfair when a cute little girl is looking up at you with moist eyes and a bunny ears that are pointed downwards in fear..... Seeing that, I turn around and softly tuck her in the bed. Anyways here¡¯s the explanation. In every human, there is a flow of energy. That flow of energy in the body is what is called mana¡± ¡°Just like in games huh? Anyways if everyone has it why hasn¡¯t been found out?¡± ¡°Because without training, you can¡¯t feel it. You didn¡¯t know about it right?¡± ¡°That is true...¡± ¡°So, when mages uses magic, they concentrate and gather their mana into a dense area while imaging what they want, say a fireball or sensing the surrounding area. For the fireball you would imagine a ball of fire basically while for sensing the surrounding area will need your imagination of where your senses are spread through the whole area you want to sense. The more complex an image within your head is, the more mana and longer it takes to complete. Absolute concentration is also needed as if you get distracted for only a moment, the magic will cancel itself out. Also if you don¡¯t have enough understanding of the physics and laws that go into the magic, like how hot the fire should be, the material for a metal you want to create, it won¡¯t work¡± ¡°Hm...it seems difficult. I find it ironic that even though they seem like polar opposites, magic and science really mash well here.¡± ¡°Of course it is...if it was easy, the human population would have already knew about it. Anyways, now that you mention it, I think it would be best to teach you magic. The grounds are empty as Dal Rin had already gone to her father and had it reserved for us. The training grounds is a large open space enclosed by buildings. The size would be about a soccer field. The grounds had been seperated in three are: An area that was filled with dummies for sword practice, another area that was filled with targets for archers, and finally an open area for sparring and training. Ji Hyun was with Hyun Jin and teaching him how to focus and feel the mana within him. On the other side, Dal Rin and I were sparring with swords. Jian was watching us with large glittering eyes, interested in the spar. From the corner of my eyes, I see Jian looking around her surrounding and find something. She wobbles over to it and picks it up. What she had picked up was a tree branch. Coming back with the tree branch, she starts swinging it, letting out a very cute ¡°Haah!¡± every time. Seeing this, I smile at myself which in turn lead me to receive a blow from Dal Rin. ¡°....You really shouldn¡¯t be letting your focus when sparring, Lee Hyun..¡± ¡°...Hahaha sorry about that~ I just noticed Jian. Look at her¡± Curious, Dal Rin turns and looks at Jian before letting out a ¡°KYAAAAH! SO CUTE!!¡± Smiling myself, I go over to her. ¡°Jian ah, what are you doing?¡± ¡°Jian is fwollwowing papa!!¡± ¡°Hahaha aren¡¯t you really good? Unfortunately Jian ah, you are too young to practice. At first suprised by the sudden apppearance, Jian lets out a cute scream. ¡°Eek?!¡± And wobbles to me and hides. Seeing her, I just smile at her cute actions. By this time, Pegasus had fully formed. ¡°My master, what does thee wish?¡± ¡°Pegasus, meet my little daughter, Jian¡± ¡°Lady Jian, it is an honor¡± Bowing to her while saying his greetings, Jian looks at me in confusion. I smile at her and point my head from her to Pegasus. Seeing that Pegasus¡¯ head was still bowed, Jian comes out from behind me and curtsies to him. ¡°Hello, hworsie, I am Jian. Its nice two mweet you!¡± Seeing the scene, Dal Rin comes beside me and smiles. ¡°Pegasus, Watch over and play with Jian. I¡¯m currently busy training so can¡¯t¡± ¡°...Master... thy has summoned me to watch over a little girl?¡± ¡°.... do you have a problem with that, Pegasus? Aaah.... it¡¯s been a while since you and I have trained hasn¡¯t it?¡± ¡°!! Master, how could I have a problem with thy¡¯s command?! Smiling at this, I walk toward Pegasus while carrying Jian and put her on his back. Before I leave, I sternly look at Pegasus and give him one stern warning. ¡°If you scare Jian or let her get hurt... you do know the consequences right? Chapter 16: Stormfall A/N Hey everyone!! sorry for the long wait. I was trying to figure out where to take this next and also been loaded by work. I finally got a day off so could write this chapter. Hopefully I''m giong to be able to write a couple more chapters by next friday, when the training iand 12 hour night shift are finally done woo hoo! After that I''ll be going to the regular update speed. Please endure patiently and hope you all enjoy the chapter! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ¡°Jian ah, you ready?¡± ¡°*yawns* Eung, papa!¡± Right now Hyun Jin, Ji Hyun, Dal Rin, and Jian who was cutely yawning were in front of the entrance to Moon City. We had spent the last two weeks here training in preparation for the future demon invasion. Hyun Jin had been training Ji Hyun on the Secret Moonlight Sword Arts Form while she taught him how to use magic. Hyun Jin was a fast learner. He has already become proficient with all the elements and now could do simple things spell. He, not surprisingly, excelled in holy magic and could create holy barriers and even heal the party. I, on the other hand, had been teaching Dal Rin. As she was already skilled with the sword, she learned quickly and was now able to use all 4 basic forms of the Moonlight Sword Arts. One day the King had come down and saw me training Dal Rin. Being impressed with Moonlight Sword Arts, he asked me if I could teach his royal guard but immediately flinched and ran away when I glared at him. During the time we trained, Jian was watched over by her two pe¡­ I mean guardians Pegasus and Fenrir. She had a lot of fun flying on Pegasus and riding Fenrir around. I decided that it was finally time to leave yesterday as I was satisfied with everyone¡¯s progress. When the King and Queen had heard we were leaving, they tried to convince Dal Rin to stay but she told them that she was now part of group and had to go with us. Truthfully I was nervous that she might decide to stay but thankfully she decided to continue with us. Seeing her determination and knowing her personality, the King and Queen sighed and gave up. After checking to make sure we had packed everything, we put our packs on with Jian going to her favorite spot, my shoulders and headed off. ¡°So guys, where should we go?¡± ¡°¡­Oppa!!! You said you would decide by this morning our next destination!¡± ¡°Ji Hyun ah¡­. Have you ever seen Lee Hyun plan for something?¡± ¡°¡­no¡­ but still¡­.¡± ¡°Ji Hyun shi, it¡¯s fine~~ don¡¯t worry. Truthfully, it was very hard to have it any other way as Jian¡¯s eyes became wide and sparkly as we traveled through the different regions. ¡°Waaah~~ Papa that lake is swo big!!¡± ¡°Papa! Look! There are bwirdies!!¡± ¡°Papa! What is that?~¡± I couldn¡¯t really say anything as the scenery was indeed very beautiful. It was a very peaceful going through plains and forests on sunny days with the blue sky covering everything in the world. We usually called it a day for traveling a couple hours before sunset every day as Jian was still very young and couldn¡¯t handle too long of a trek. Dal Rin and Ji Hyun were in charge of setting up our camp and get the fire starting while Hyun Jin and I went hunting for our dinner and tomorrow breakfast. Usually by the time the moon came up we would eat and play together with Jian. Jian seemed to glue a smile to her face the whole time as she was seeing a lot of new things and playing with the four of us. We usually went to bed when Jian became drowsy and started to yawn which was when Dal Rin would place her in between her and Ji Hyun to sleep. Seeing such a scene was very heartwarming as Jian would sleep with a carefree face without any worries in the world while surrounded by those two. We traveled this way for about two weeks. Right now we were at a four way intersection. Hyun Jin was currently looking at a map trying to figure otu which way we should head. Looking up, he tells us our choices. ¡°Alright, we can head keep going forward and head straight to the northern border or go east for 10 km and head to Stormfall. If we keep going forward we can reach the border by tomorrow afternoon. So what do you guys think?¡± ¡°I say we stop by Stormfall. We need to resupply¡± ¡°Oppa.... you just want to sleep on a bed don¡¯t you?¡± ¡°....¡± ¡°Haa.... even though it pains me to say this, but I agree with Lee Hyun. We should probably resupply just in case we run into something unexpected...¡± ¡°Omo, Hyun Jin is agreeing with Lee Hyun. Jian ah~ what do you want to do?¡± ¡°Eh? Um... Jian fwollow papa!¡± ¡°Haha looks like it¡¯s settled. Lets head to Stormfall then¡± Saying that, Hyun Jin takes the lead and we head to Stormfall. About a km away after going past a hill, we see Stormfall. A castle came into view. The castles had large walls protecting them from invaders with towers in each corner. The only entrance was the one in the south so we headed that way. As we got closer, you could remains of past battles on the walls as dents from what appeared to be heavy objects were all around it, showing the scars from previous invasions. Once we neared the entrance, a guard on top of the walls yelled out to us. ¡°Travelers, what business do you have here at Stormfall?¡± ¡°Sir, we are here travelers that are heading north. We have come here to resupply and find a place for rest¡± ¡°It¡¯s pretty rare to see visitors up here. You may pass but remember! Don¡¯t think of doing any funny stuff as we will kick you immediately if you do!¡± ¡°Understood, thank you sir.¡± ¡°Open the gates!¡± At the guards command, the gates slowly opened and we passed through. In the inside of the castle, numerous buildings were placed in a square shape. There were two roads, one from north to south, and another that went from east to west. The buildings were made out of wood. They were from one story up to three. The designs reminded me of the buildings that I saw in the rural parts of the Netherlands, buildings that had a feeling from the medieval period. As we were walking through the road, stalls were beginning to open for business the day. The owners looked at us with stern faces at first since we were s trangers but their face loosened into smiles as they saw the cute Jian on my shoulders. As we neared the center, we saw a three story building with a sign in front that depicted a bar standing on it¡¯s hind legs while drinking a beer. Underneath the picture were the words, The Drinking Bear. Hm... I wonder how long it took to think up that name? While thinking that, we open the doors and walk in. What greeted us past the door was a smiling old man. He seemed to be in his late 50s as his hair had started to gray. Smiling at us, he asks us if we¡¯re here for a room. ¡°Dear ladies and gentlemen, are you here for a room?¡± ¡°Yes sir, we would like to get two rooms please¡± ¡°Will you like to get eat dinner here? Also we have baths if you would like to use them¡± ¡°Yes, we would like to use both of those¡± ¡°That will be 30 coppers, sir¡± Thinking that it wasnt too bad of a deal, I pull out the coins and hand it over. Receiving the coins, the gentlement smiles at us. ¡°Thank you for your business sir. Dinner will be served at 7 and the baths will be opened from 8-10. Your rooms will be at the end of the second floor. I hope you enjoy your stay here¡± Bowing to us, we head up the stairs to our rooms. Dal Rin and Ji Hyun goes to their room to drop off their things while Hyun Jin and I do the same. After settling down, both of the girls come to our room and we decide what we should do next. ¡°Alright then guys, Let¡¯s head out and resupply¡± While I said that, I feel a sudden thug on my shirt. Looking down, Jian is rubbing her eyes. ¡°Papa~ Jian is twired... ¡° ¡°Ah you are? Hm ok then Jian go to sleep on the bed¡± ¡°Wokay~~¡± While saying that, Jian heads over to my bed and lays down. Tucking her in, she quickly falls asleep. ¡°Hm....since Jian is sleeping we need to have someone here watching over here¡± ¡°I¡¯ll stay here¡± ¡°You sure Dal Rin¡± ¡°Yeah~ I¡¯m tired anyways¡± ¡°Alright, we¡¯ll be back around noon then. Let¡¯s go eat together¡± ¡°Sounds good~¡± Saying that, Hyun Jin, Ji Hyun, and I head out of the room and go to the stalls. The road this time was starting to get crowded as people were coming to do trades. It took us a while to find the stall that had what we needed and to navigate through everyone. After about two hours, we had finally bought all that we needed. ¡°Hm... oppa it¡¯s still pretty early. What do you think about going to buy some clothes?¡± ¡°That¡¯s not a bad idea.. I need to get some new clothes. My stuff are getting raggedly...¡± ¡°Oppa~ youre going to buy me clothes right? *glares*¡± ...Scary!!! that glaze is too scary for a girl! Who are you and what have you done to my cute sister!! While thinking that, I nod my head at which Ji Hyun smiles. After that, the three of us head to a tailor shop. After searching for about ten minutes we finally see a store that were advertising clothes outside and head in. Even though the shop was small, there were many varities of clothes. The shops was basically divided into two where men and women clothes were seperated. On both sides, there were numerous of different types of clothes to choose from. When we walked in, the owner stood up and greeted us. ¡°Welcome, customer. How may I help you?¡± ¡°We¡¯re just here to look at some clothes¡± ¡°Understood, if you have any questions, feel free to come to me¡± After saying that we begin looking for clothes. I find some loose and comfortable looking shirt and trousers that will do nicely. While waiting for the other two, I suddenly think of Jian and Dal Rin at the inn and decide to buy them some clothes. For Dal Rin, I found a sleevless green dress. It had a simple design that had small designs of flowers on the bottom. The dress had a feeling of a nice breezy spring day to it. Thinking it would suit her well I decide to get it for Dal Rin. Next for Jian I found a cute white dress that had frills around the edges of the skirt and around the end of the sleeves. It was a very cute dress that matched Jian¡¯s pureness perfectly. Inwardly smiling at my decision, I go up to the store owner and pay for the clothes. Afterwards I help Ji Hyun buy a dress. She kept on showing me different types of dress but in the end decided on a silver dress. The dress had full length sleeves and a small opening on the back. The skirt reached down to a little above Ji Hyun¡¯s knees. It was very pretty and still seemed easy to move in, making it perfect. Once I paid for her dress and Hyun Jin chose his clothes, we were about to head out when suddenly the store¡¯s door was slammed open. The person who ran in was a old man who¡¯s hair was graying. It was the inn owner from earlier. Curious as to why he was here, I ask. ¡°Hey sir, what are you doing here? It seemed like your in rush as you ran in here while slamming the door open..¡± Taking a few seconds to regain his breath, he looks at me with panicked eyes and blurts out really quickly. ¡°Si...Sir!! I finally found you been looking for you everywhere!! Sir just about thirty minutes ago a group of men ran into the inn and stormed up to the second floor. While they were up there, I heard sounds of a struggle and the group started to rush down the steps. On the shoulder of one of the men was the lady you were with and another was carrying the little girl. I ran around to look for you so I could tell you!!¡± The bags in my hand drop to the ground. Huh? What? Jian and Dal Rin were taken away by a group of men?!?! Ji Hyun covers her mouth with her hands in horror while Hyun Jin has a hard expression on his face....... Someone took Dal Rin and Jian?!?!?! I quickly push the inn owner away and rush out the door, followed shortly by Hyun Jin and Ji Hyun... Who would dare to take away Dal Rin and my daughter!! I''ve been thinking about this for a while. When I first began writing the Summoner series, I just did it for the hell of it and didn''t really care too much about how I wrote it and the structure of the story, evident in writing the first 9 chp in a week. As I kept writing this story, I slowly became more affectionate about it and began writing it more seriously. Reading through it again, I feel as if I don''t do this great story justice. I have come to the decision to rewrite this story as a remastered version and attempt to do it full justice. I will be rewriting this whole story again when I return from training on friday.
