    1. The Start


    This universe consists of many worlds. Different worlds with different species, beasts, landscapes & characters. Our hero exists in one of these worlds called Luminia, a world where humans, demons beasts & other various species exists where powerful strive and weak perish. A place full of battle and adventures where life is tested to its limits.


    Our hero, Luke is son to the family of battle mages. Battle mages are warriors trained in combat and mage fights, they differ from normal mages who are physically weak and warriors who don¡¯t posses mage force. Battle mages have both physicality and mage force to appear top of fighters in Luminia.


    Luke¡¯s father,Pluto is one of the fiercest warrior, a battle mage in Luminia. He serves under the emperor Malcus of human kingdom, Vestoria. His wife Prima is one of the top most mage in luminia. Specalizing in darkness and fire elements. Luke¡¯s brother, Kyle who is  years elder & a battle mage of top tier and is youngest genius battle mage to reach the top tier in the entire Vestoria history.


    Luke is the youngest son of the family, he s not a genius but talented though he cant use magic because of the blocks in prime meridian veins that allow his mana flow in his body a condition that is a rare one, but he doesn¡¯t gives up, he makes it up with his theoretical understanding of magic arts and  mana i.e he is a bookworm. But he trains hard in the way of warrior in increasing his physical capacity.


    Although no people dare to offend Luke in person due to the fear of his father but they rather annoy him comparing his brother. He used to envy his brother still he loved him though his brother seldom met him.His father was some what disappointed in Luke & his mother although cared him but everything was to a minimum. Sometimes Luke used to be distressed in his room about his inability to use magic arts and mana.


    Even though he was in a large villa still he felt he was all alone. His father never called him to any feasts or parties held in his villa. He was always a separated figure in the entire crowd. His childhood friend Elena who grew up with him till 8 years has now started to fawn over his brother Kyle.


    At 9 years age Luke felt this world has left him alone. Elena started to change when she learnt Luke couldn¡¯t use magic arts as her parents advised her not to interact with Luke who was worthless in  magic arts. In Vestoria magic arts where valued more than warriors with physical capabilities.

    This made luke to become determined to show this world that he is not incapable person so he sunk into books. He started gathering knowledge about magic arts and mana of this world. He used to spend his time after morning training in library reading ancient books with the help of librarian who helped in deciphering the ancient texts, the librarian came to like Luke because his determination in knowledge pursuit and his friendliness with him.


    But Luke never skipped his Warrior training,he diligently trained his body in the morning with warrior¡¯s training instructor. Luke returned to his home in the evening , he usually avoids to eat with his family and no one cared about it.


    Today as usual after spending his time in library he returned to his home. There was a large number of magical beasts that were lying on  the huge land of grass belonging to their villa. Magical beasts where intelligent beasts with the ability to use magic and where very strong.They had to be tamed by defeating it and making it to submit.


    Luke made his way into his villa.There were lot of guests chatting & enjoying their food in the main hall.


    No one noticed Luke¡¯s presence rather didn¡¯t bother to notice him.


    Luke went to his mother to enquire, on seeing Luke coming Prima walked to him fastly and mentioned that his brother has won the tournament held annually to pick out the bright talent and select them to the imperial academy to train them to become fine warriors in their respective field. Only 30 students would annually be taken into the academy to be trained.


    The annual completion would be like a fight against a primary level magical beast and finally a battle royale style for the finalists.


    (Magical Beasts are classified as Primary level-Middle Level-Saint Level-God Level and other than them are relatively normal beasts)


    Prima advised Luke to go to his room as she didn¡¯t want to embarrass herself and her husband in front of guests due to Luke¡¯s inability to use magic arts. She wanted to show Kyle as treasure of their family. Luke was hurt very deep thinking even his mother shows partiality between him and his brother.


    Even his father considered Kyle as the one who will lead his family to glory, he never cared his second son as his son than treat him like a stranger. Luke understood deep in his heart ¡°Power rules this world¡± and he determined to show this world that he is not powerless.


    The day ended with the banquet of guests and members of royal family congratulating Kyle regarding his achievement into the Imperial Academy. Luke when he was returning saw Elena was fawning over Kyle and many noble¡¯s daughters rounding Kyle.


    He knew he was powerless so he remembered bees and birds stock flowers with honey. He needed power and he desired to obtain it at any costs

    2.THE SCROLL


    Luke woke up early in the morning and practiced his regular warrior training in increasing his physical capabilities. His determination in warrior training always roused the instructor and he made Luke train  harder than any normal pupil who comes to train, he thought few tricks in building the body and to increase his muscle strength.


    Today he started teaching him Limit break training one which he never thought to other pupils because he didn¡¯t want them to breakdown and he didn¡¯t see anyone as determined as Luke.He advised to Luke regarding limit break training and told him to purchase some herbs and tonics that would help him in training


    Limitbreak training is pushing the human body to its utmost limits and breaking it down and again shaping it up and the process is continued. This is a very dangerous process it may harm the body that¡¯s were the herbs and various tonics comes in. after training allowing his body to soak in various herbs and tonics mixed water replenish fatigue and increases in stamina and helps in developing the body quickly. Luke being son Lord Pluto, a rich noble man definitely had access to money and buying the herbs and tonics didn¡¯t worry him.


    Doing his first limit break training made Luke feel fatigued and his muscles were tearing apart and  his whole party torn apart. He started soaking his body in a tub of herbs and tonics with hot water. Slowly but gradually the herbs started showing its effects on his body and slowly his fatigue decreased his muscles started building his new constitution.


    Luke clearly felt his body had improved very much as he could run faster and move & react faster than usual. He thanked in his heart the instructor for Limit break training. He reached the library and he saw the librarian reading a book and he called the librarian as Grandpa Hiru.


    Grandpa Hiru smiled and waved his hand towards luke. Luke told he wanted to read ancient scripts regarding mana. And Granpa Hiru showed him towards a section containing a scripts and advised him to handle it carefully

    Luke was scrolling through the section when he came to the end of the of the rack containing the scripts. He found a round shape stone attached to one side of the rack inside not clearly visible to the naked eye but one can see it while feeling it.


    He tried touching it, it went inside like a switch opened a hollow section containing a scroll type which was composed in a skin belonging to an animal. And it was neatly rolled and stored in the section.


    Luke was bewildered to find this scroll first he wanted to shout and tell grandpa Hiru about the scroll. But suddenly he felts is curiosity to pique and he held it on to himself. He loitered around sometime before leaving.He quickly left the library and ran to his room in his villa.


    As no one usually bothered about his activities in his home. He quickly finished his food and ran into his room and took the scroll out.He was excited and curiosity was at its top and his mind was flying high with thoughts of what such great secrets he would learn or what new power he would gain from this scroll.


    Luke started reading the scroll, as he had learnt ancient texts from Grandpa Hiru . He was able to read the scroll. The  scroll  had mentioned about the history of battle mage and about their power in battles.


    Luke wasn¡¯t interested in such things and he was looking for any information about obtaining power or any treasures that can give power. The scroll belonged to 10,000 years ago battle mage he had described he had found out a unique way of training to go beyond the current boundary level of Saint level.


    (Warrior/Mage power level- Earth<Sky<Saint<God)


    God level was a legendary level very few had reached this level and in Vestoria history only 2 people reached it. Saint level have been many in History vestoria history.


    Luke was reading the scroll and his interest piqued when he read about the unique method mentioned.He continued reading and found out that old battle mage had hidden the scroll of is findings in Mt Raven cave.He had mentioned only the worthy and determined person may succeed his technique.Luke was pondering about what to do next.

    3.Growth and Planning


    Luke had decided to travel to Mt Raven as mentioned in the scroll. He pondered on how to go to Mt Raven and what reason should he give to his father.Normally roaming in and around the city for Luke,his father wouldnt be bothered about it.


    If travelling outside the city, he wouldnt allow it. Even though he never shows concern his son Luke, he didnt want to lose face to others if his son met a mishap outside the city as other nobles would say he wantedly let his son die whom he considered embarrasment and useless to his family.


    Luke pondered for a while and drifted into his sleep. Next day as usual he woke up early and set off for his physical warrior training. He practised his Limit break training by pushing his body to its limits. Unknown to Luke himself his body and his muscles began to shape up like an piece of art. At 9 years of age Luke was athletic build with no fat and properly shaped arms and abdomen and perfectly shaped chest.his height was little higher than those kids at his age.


    By his continuous practice of limit break training, Luke body had began to absorb nature energy into his muscles. His previously blocked channels for mana flow had began to slowly wither down. But Luke never knew what was happening to his body as no one knew about absorbing natural energy to the body as mages maintained or borrowed natural energy to supplement their mana channel but couldnt absorb it into their body and warriors generally relied on qi. which is in similar case contained in body.


    Alas naturally after every limit break training Luke felt as if his body was powered up and reborn a new. He felt his strength, stamina, reflex, vision, hearing and his senses increase.Little did Luke know his body was undergoing a monstrous transformation.


    After his morning training he returned to his home and had a warm dip in his herbs and tonics mixed bath and cleaned himself and he ordered his servants to bring him his food. While doing his limit break training, his instructor had advised him in taking rich foods and so Luke choosed his diets with rich meat and vegetables.


    The meat usually belonged to magical beasts which had natural energy absorbed into their flesh.Naturally for others it would boost their physical strength upto a certain extent but for Luke it enhanced his body development and natural energy absorption.


    Luke quickly finished his food and made his way out of his villa and ran straight to library. He wished Grandpa Hiru and moved to geography study area.His mind made up a plan to go to Mt Raven and to find a suitablr excuse to give his father.


    He took out a book called "Lands of Vestoria" from the shelf, a large book with a thick monster skin binded as a cover. The books maintained in the library were always neatly maintained by Grandpa Hiru whenever a book cover was damaged Grandpa Hiru always mended it with a new cover and never allowed dust to settle on in any section of books in the library.


    As Luke began to read "Lands of Vestoria" he started to immerse himself for him who was branded powerless he was always alone with no companions his thirst for knowledge and books became his companions. He read about all the geographical information of landscapes in Vestoria.


    His father Lord Pluto was a noble and a great battle mage who ruled Greena, a perfectural city with 9 smaller cities with a population of hundred million, It was a land blessed with flora and fauna and Mt Raven was within his region of control surrounding the Mt Raven was the Silent forest, as the name suggests it contained normal beasts such as foxes, boars and magical beasts of mid level ranks.

    Reading about geographical details of Mt Raven,  Luke was thinking about his plan to visit Mt Raven. He left the library for his lunch to his villa and came back again. He went to Grandpa Hiru and asked him about books on herbs. He was directed towards the section of Herbology.


    Luke went to the section and it consists of many sections each regarding different kinds of herbs for treatments and magical properties of different herbs, potent herbs and geographical locations of herbs, applications of different herbs. Luke stood there looking at different books on herbs wondering how people would be able to gather such precious information regarding herbs.


    Luke was thinking of about the excuse he needed to give his father for going.He concluded that saying he was studying herbology and he wanted to discover and study new herbs found in Mt Raven.


    With this in his mind he started studying about herbs and its properties and areas found around Mt Raven. And for the following 3 days he spent studying and gathering information about various herbs and its properties and uses.It took him a week to make himself familiar with the herbs in Mt Raven


    As next part of his plan, he left library after bidding goodbye to Grandpa Hiru and he went back to his home in noon and finished his lunch and returned to his room waiting for his father.Luke had planned to learn herbology and he needed a master to teach him and to make his father believe he was learning herbology.


    As night approached dinner was served in Pluto''s family.They were seated in a majesticly designed large table and many different colours and flavors of foods.Lord Pluto was seated on one end of the table as centre adjacent to him was Prima. Luke entered the hall and sat on a chair opposite to Prima his mother.


    Luke''s presence was noticed by his father but he continued eating his dinner. His mother Prima enquired how Luke is and lately   what he has been upto. Prima was one of the leaders at the mage academy and she spent most of her time in training talents seldom cared about family matters with excpetion to Kyle, Luke''s elder brother a genius.


    Luke finished his dinner and saw his father was about to leave the table and


    Luke: Father


    Pluto: what is it?


    Luke: Father I''am planning to learn herbology


    Pluto: What herbology, he snorted grumpily and said "What use does herbology do our family line is full of mage warriors"


    Luke: Father you know I cant use magic arts and i can only train as a combat warrior without mana.I wished to learn herbology as it would increase my level of combat warrior as my body needs to develop to a level


    Pluto: I know that you are useless in magical arts and I thought you would atleast develop into a saint level combat warrior by doing so you would atleast salvage some honour to our great family compared to your brother who is Pride of our family


    Luke heart sunk when he heard his father talk about his brother a fire burned in his heart an desire to prove he is not useless but he grit his teeth, thinking everything will be proven in time


    Luke: I need to train in herbology and I need a Master to teach me


    Pluto: Hmm...Okay I will instruct George(butler) tomorrow to find you a teacher to teach you herbology


    Luke''s father left the table and all the while his mother was listening and bid him goodnight and left the table.Luke was alone sitting.He too left after a while of thought.He entered his room and his heart was paining, he wanted cry shout and curse but he didn''t he knew when he cries that is when he would have given up on himself

    4. Teacher


    Luke woke up next day early as a routine he trained his body as usual by doing limit break training. He practiced the warriors way training to enhance his physical strength but still due to Luke¡¯s prime meridian veins blocked his mana & Ki channels were blocked and there was no flow of energy.


    Still it hadn¡¯t deterred his thirst for obtaining power. As usual after his Limit break training his body starts absorbing the nature energy into his body transforming his body at a very steady rate.


    His body was slowly developing into that of a sky level warrior body, usually battle mages body develop upto sky level in physical strength and then saint level or in some cases god level in mage force. Luke¡¯s body after starting to absorb natural energy slowly started transforming towards sky level warrior body.


    After his training he soaked his body in herbs and tonics mixed bath to relieve his fatigue and to strengthen his muscles


    Luke heard a knock at his door and he was summoned by his father. Luke quickly changed it a violet robe with golden lines and olive designs. His body appearing more majestic due to his limit break training went to visit his father.


    His father was seated on a throne shaped large chair in the hall and discussing with George(butler) and a slender woman with bluish eyes golden hair medium height with great curves matching her beauty in equal proportions was standing with her head down.

    Luke: Good morning, I have arrived Father


    Pluto: Hmmm. You had asked me to find you a teacher for teaching you herbology right?


    Luke: Yes Father


    Pluto: The person standing opposite to you, is your Herbology teacher and her name is Sharon


    Luke: Good morning, Respected Teacher Sharon, I am Luke Pluto I would like you to teach me about herbs and its properties.


    Sharon: Em¡­m..m Good..good morning Mr Luke(she was stammering with her words & one could say she was a total shy type).Glad to have you as my student


    Pluto: Teacher Sharon, you can continue your classes in your herbology shop  & Luke be obedient and don¡¯t cause any troubles and spoil our family¡¯s name


    Luke: Yes father. I will diligently work without causing any trouble


    Pluto got up from his seat and ordered George to follow him and left the hall. Sharon and Luke were left standing facing each other. Sharon being shy type didn¡¯t raise her head and told Luke to visit her next day in noon at her shop to start the training. Luke nodded and waited till Sharon left the hall & returned to his room with a happy face

    Hi this is vinman here. this is my first Fanfic. I hope you all like it. I have taken idea from various fictions and novels and mixed  it together and i am tryng to develop my character bit by bit not excessive OP. Please if you can give me your thoughts about how and where can I improve my story. It would be really helpful


    5.LESSON


    Luke knew his plan is progressing nicely and he needs diligently work towards successfully executing it.


    Luke thought of learning Herbology in hope of clearing his block in Prime meridian channel to allow Ki or mana flow. He always hoped in his heart that he can do magic arts and prove to his father, family & world that he s not useless as they think of him. He spent his time before falling asleep with his only companion ¡°Books¡±.


    Luke woke up next morning early as usual and continued his Limit break training and herbs and tonic bath.


    He swished off to finish his breakfast before any Family member arrives and gobbled the rich magical beasts meat and fruits and dashed off from his villa to Library. Entering the library Luke wished


    Grandpa Hiru and went towards the books section. Grandpa Hiru enquired Luke about his new found enthusiasm and what books he is looking for.


    Luke turned his head and answered, he is looking for books related to Ki or Mana control training with a big smile on his face.On seeing his face Grandpa Hiru pointed out the book section related to his query with a smile on his face. He always enjoyed Luke¡¯s company and his enthusiasm always affected his old bones making him remember his youth days spent in search of knowledge.


    Luke searched the section for books and finally found an old some what shabby type of leather binded book with the title ¡°Ki & Mana control¡±. Luke knew this book would be from long time ago from its appearance and its written letter shapes. He was happy he found something that piqued his thirst for knowledge. He took down the book and seated on a chair and placed the book on the table and started skimming through the book.


    Luke was happy he found out that the basic training for Ki & Mana control was meditating and trying to feel Ki or Mana within oneself first and then on to the next stage to create a vessel or container within the body and the third stage is to feel the mana or energy from the nature and replenish his mana or ki source. The Ki for warriors was difficult to replenish using nature but can be through meditation for some time.

    Luke found a way of meditation mentioned in the book to feel Mana or Ki. He memorized the method and was happy and excited to try it out. Time flew by and it was already noon, as he lost track of time while immersed in reading the book. He remembered his tutelage under teacher Sharon, he bid goodbye to Grandpa Hiru and dashed off to his home to finish his lunch and again dashed back to Herb shop in central plaza.


    On reaching the shop, Luke knocked the door but there was no answer and he went in. There was no one in front and so he moved towards the back of the shop and there he saw angel watering the herbs with her jade like hands and small movements with her slender waist and her loose golden hair and humming.


    He was mesmerized by the sight stood standing there and as Sharon turned, she dropped the watering can and screamed Hiya! And jumped backwards, startled by the sudden screaming Luke backstepped a bit and tried to apologize to Sharon for his sudden interruption.


    Sharon cooled down a bit and with her head down said ¡°I¡¯m sorry I forgot about our appointment today was immersed with herbs¡± and apologized to Luke. Luke felt a shock and stammered for a while and finally saying ¡°Sorry Teacher for startling you and should have waited in the front¡± with his hand scratching his head gleefully.


    He commented saying her humming was very sweet with a childish face. Teacher Sharon got embarrassed and her face had become red due to his compliment and said ¡°He..Hmm Ummm Thank you¡±, all the while her head was looking down not meeting the eye of Luke. Sharon awkwardness was due to her being a genius in herbology at age of 10 and by 15 years old she was teaching herbology to students who were probably girls. Her interaction with opposite gender was rare. Thus her interaction with Luke was akward.


    Finally Sharon had cooled down and took a gulp of air adjusting her hair, she instructed Luke to come near the herbs. She mentioned she will start teaching him first by learning to watering and trimming and maintaining herbs.


    She told first proper maintenance of herbs will teach Luke valuable things in herbology. So Luke¡¯s first lesson continued for 2 weeks and Luke was listening to each and every word Sharon told him diligently

 Chapter 6

    6. Progress and Green Speck


    Luke¡¯s first lesson of his class continued for the next two weeks and during this time his interaction with his Teacher Sharon were initially awkward but slowly it progressed now Sharon used to talk with him freely but still her head was looking down. He sighed himself ¡°Old habits die hard¡±.


    But he learnt many things from Sharon about herbs. She had theorized that herbs have actual feelings like humans and respond to human interaction At first Luke found it hard to believe it but after trying to trim and water and maintain the herbs in the herbal garden, he came to understand the point in which his teacher had theorized with care the herbs grew beautifully and yielded great results


    Luke after his classes at Herb Shop ran back to his villa and finished his rich diet and ran back to his room. He usually avoids his family at the table, it can be said same to his family as they try to avoid his interaction.


    Sometimes he used to blame his family for this partial treatment but he would  console himself saying ¡°Power means everything without power your nothing¡± , thus he used this as to rouse himself to be determined in his goal to succeed.


    In his room he had started his meditation training as mentioned in the book. His first attempt to meditate was unsuccessful as his minds was running haywire with many thoughts. His second attempt went awkward in a sense, he fell asleep trying to enter the meditative state. His third attempt he dozed off till next day morning


    Luke sighed himself as he woke up early in the morning and finished his regular limit break training. He saw his body transform he felt power overflowing but there was no one to guide him, as his warrior training instructor was earth level warrior and he had never seen any transformation such as Luke¡¯s body as he felt there is no Ki usage in Luke¡¯s body he didn¡¯t care much about it, if he had known Luke was  absorbing natural energy would have been astounded and shocked to death.


    Even Luke himself was aware about this process occurring. Luke as usual continued his routine morning training later till noon in library and from noon he spent his time in learning herbology. He was now thought of identifying various herbs based on its uses but Luke surprised Teacher Sharon with his knowledge of various herbs. Luke earlier had spent most of his time in library gathering various information regarding herbs for his plans. Sharon was astonished at the knowledge of herbs by Luke.


    She was happy to have such a student and to teach him.


    Luke was now learning how to extract herbs from Sharon. He was interested in the various techniques that Sharon had taught him in extraction herbs for example some herbs should be extracted by hands alone, while some should be extracted without any touch to hands because the heat in hand would cause to wilt, Luke was slack jawed when he learnt various methods of extraction and different herbs.


    He was amazed to learn some herbs were poisonous in nature and cannot be touched by hands and only to mixed with other herbs to attain beneficial properties of potions. He also learnt that various climates influence different different herbs.


    This lessons continued for another three weeks and Sharon was surprised at the rate of knowledge absorbed by Luke of her teachings. He was like a sponge absorbing water he absorbed all her teachings.


    Luke always diligent and sharp minded in learning the uses and properties of various herbs


    Luke at night tried practicing the meditation techniques but because he cant sense Ki or Mana always his meditation ends up failure, he couldn¡¯t enter the transcendent state of meditation. He thought to himself ¡°If I would have succeeded so soon then I would have been a genius because I am not a genius, I have to keep on trying still I succeed. This is always been his driving force.

    His daily life continued as a cycle with Limit break training and rest and rich food fruits and meats and library for knowledge and classes for herbology and night time for mediation practice. Slowly but with a steady pace his body muscles and tissues had started observing natural energy transforming them.


    Today his herbology class included in Essence extraction from herbs. Essence from herbs is the extraction of either sap or juice from the leaves or roots or stems of the herbs and sometimes flowers of the herbs were used as well.


    He was taught how to cut the stem and root without damaging the parts that were needed to extract the essence and he was taught how to grind the herb, because the skill of grinding the herb differs from the casual grinding. It should be gentle as a flower and light and minimum pressure to be applied to the herb to extract the essence. With his theoretical knowledge from books in the library he had extracted the information regarding various herbs played a great role in his learning.


    Sharon was very pleased with the progress Luke made in the classes each day. She too taught him sincerely and encouraged him with his ideas and she was amazed at the various ideas that had Luke given to her. Those ideas where mostly from various ancient scrolls in library regarding herbs collected from various civilizations that lived earlier


    Luke too had many ingenious ideas of his own which would court disaster if used as they were in thought stage but some of his ideas he tried ended in various disasters for example using different herbs he produced a paste which causes itching through out the body when just touched by any part of the body another one that numbs the body from smelling it.


    Luke¡¯s research and training in herbs progressed smoothly for another three weeks . His routine cycle continued as usual and at night his attempts to enter meditative state continued. One thing about Luke was his persistent in achieving his goal. He would always try even when others would give up. Finally


    Luke entered the empty transcendent state but he couldn¡¯t feel either Ki or Mana. Still he persisted meditating in it


    There was a white mist surrounding Luke¡¯s body but he couldn¡¯t sense it as he was in meditative state and he also didn¡¯t know nothing about natural energy. If anyone had seen they would have been stunned at the scene as Luke was never bothered by anyone he continued his meditation.


    Bit by bit a small invisible chamber was created in his chest area. Gradually his repeated practice in meditative training increased the chamber rigidity creating an invisible chamber within his chest region.


    And slowly without Luke knowledge what is going on a green speck shaped flame had been created.


    But Luke never had any idea about it. What was going on inside himself. His daily routine continued and while his meditation practice he was never able to sense mana or ki but surrounding a white mist always appeared whenever he entered the transcendent meditative state and the green speck started to grow very slowly

 Chapter 7

    7. SPARRING MATCH


    Luke was on his way to meet his warrior training instructor, last night he decided his warrior skill with his instructor or any sparring persons available


    He met his instructor and greeted him. He requested for a sparring match for him to test out his strength and skills with any available student.


    Hearing this instructor looked at Luke,  Luke was a wheatish coloured kid with black hair , his eyes perfectly round shaped with a green bluish iris, when one looks into it can feel as if their soul is scoured &well built and with an athletic body well toned with strong arms and well shaped biceps and at a height 1.4m for a 10 year old kid looked more of well grown adult body. His body showed his centre of gravity was always well balanced.


    Pondering for a while the instructor called a kid named Bairon who was well built dark boy with black hair and muscles well toned and his body showing his warrior pride, he was also a noble¡¯s son belonging to Frazer Clan, a clan proud of warriors.


    Luke POV


    I was mediating yesterday night trying to feel for Ki or Mana as usual I coudnt. Well I shouldn¡¯t give up as long as I can, I should persist with it. Getting up from the stance, I used minimum force but I just sprang up so fast.


    Would it be I would have reached the peak Earth level warrior. Hmmmm¡­..thinking for while , I decided that I should have a spar tomorrow at the warrior training place.


    I asked the instructor for a sparring match. He looked me  with eyes of disbelief as he knew I cant use neither Ki or Mana. He thought for a while and called Bairon


    Bairon son of lord Frazer (clan of warriors), he usually used to throw insults at me for my inability to use to Ki or Mana. He didn¡¯t attack me physically because he would be punished by the instructor. In the training Instructor word is everything


    I step up on the sparring floor as well as Bairon steps us and keeps grinning with a smile at me. I wait for the instructor to start the proceedings


    The instructor tells him the rules of the Spar no killing blows and no injury to vita areas and if kicked out or pushed out of the stage means loss. If the opponent is unable or fainted in the stage means loss.


    The students were surrounding the stage and were cheering for Bairon to win as they know Luke is useless.


    Bairon POV


    I was suddenly called upon by the instructor and heard I was going to spar. I was thinking who I was going to spar with. I found the perfect prey for it


    It was none other than Luke,the son of Lord Pluto, great battle mage. He had developed an enmity due to his father¡¯s enmity with Pluto. (As the saying ¡°Like Father Like Son¡±)


    He was already jealous of Luke¡¯s elder brother who has been touted genius and several times he has been handed harsh scolding by his father for not scoring any achievements. All his frustration can be vented today he thought


    I was grinning with a smile looking at him waiting for the instructor to announce the start of the sparring.


    Luke POV


    As the instructor shouted to start, I steadied myself and looking at the opponent he hadn¡¯t moved he was looking at me deeply analyzing myself and waiting for me to make a move.


    Finally he made a move, he quickly moved towards me with nice and steady foot work,  he quickly threw a fist towards by gut. I saw what he was planning to do and side stepped and creating an opening to attack, I threw my fist towards his side but was countered by his right leg as he raised it in the air.


    We both retreated backwards and were analyzing each other again trying to predict what next each other will do. Bairon was first startled in his heart but then recovered as he was peak level Earth warrior who has undergone strict training.

    Catching a breath, I relaxed my muscles and focus on Bairon. I see him starring at me and then he has a smug look and starts to release his ki. I feel a sort of vibration that¡¯s all I feel due to by inability to channel Ki or Mana never can I sense. I frown but I quickly get into position waiting for his attack


    This time he uses his Ki and dashes at me, have to say that he is faster than before but still I coud clearly see his movements. I quickly retreat few steps backward and he throws a fast fist and I slash downwards my hand as a chop and divert it downward and trying to pulling him towards me to do a leg sweep


    Bairon senses it he is in trouble and quickly pushes his Ki towards his leg and retreats back. He is pissed off and is now raging.


    Luke thinks of attacking him but realizes he doesn¡¯t know how strong his attacks would be. So he tries to defensive and strike at any opportunity a counter style.


    The crowd cheers wildly, At start they were cheering for Bairon seeing Luke¡¯s display some part of the crowd cheer for Luke


    BAIRON POV


    Bairon has been raging inside thinking how on earth he is able to react even when he is even using is Ki force


    I understand that Luke is not attacking because unsure about his attack strength so himself has to attack him


    I now decides to use a feint move. I quickly dashes towards Luke and strike him with my Ki forced fist towards his side, he side steps and suddenly I stop my arm and grab him with another arm by turning my body trying to throw him off.


    Luke POV


    I nearly fell for his feint whew¡­.this Bairon is really mean. I know all is fair in Love and War. He tries to throw me off by grappling me. I hold his free left hand with my left hand and neutralize this move.


    Bairon lets my arm go and at the same time I let his left arm go. Suddenly he throws a palm towards my gut and I too move my right palm to meet it.


    Wow I feel as if my blood reversed flow a bit and vibrations throughout my body, but it doesn¡¯t affect me much. I steady myself a bit. But I feel as though my strength is sapped out slowly


    Bairon POV


    WTF is that. I striked him with my complete Ki condensed at one point but we striked out each other and he s fine


    If my father learns about such a shame then I am done for it. I was fuming so much that I cook hot water by keeping pot of water near me.


    I readied for my Final attack I concentrate all my Ki towards my right arm. I don¡¯t care whether I kill him or not. I will win this match


    Finally both Luke & Bairon ready themselves for a final attack. Luke without Ki or Mana relaxes his muscles and concentrates his strength to his  right elbow. Bairon has also readied himself for the final attack


    The crowd waits silently for the finale of the battle there is not a sound in the crowd


    Luke decides to go all out as it is all or nothing for him. The Instructor sees both individual getting ready for their final attack and he feels the end of the match is near


    Luke stomps his feet to the ground and propels forward and Bairon uses his powerful leg to move


    forwards, bairon throws his fist and Luke throws is elbow and meets his fist.


    As both forces collide there is sudden buzzing sound as the force generated causes the sound of Ki colliding with natural force. The force causes Luke to be thrown off the stage and he falls down with small stream of blood coming out of his mouth.


    Bairon flipped 3 times and thrown out of the stage and falls to the ground.  He is knocked out cold. The instructor is dumbfounded and announces the match as draw as both of them are out of the stage.


    The entire student crowd is dumbstruck and are in awe of a such a great spar between their fellow members
