《Re: Progenitor》 Born as a yeti I was freezing I knew I was going to die There was nothing left for me to do Due to the avalanche I was knocked downwards and off Everest My body, which was in it¡¯s extreme prime was now going to become a popsicle ¡°I don''t wanna die!¡± I shouted in my head But the lack of oxygen to my brain slowed my thoughts. ¡°So¡ this is the end¡± I thought as darkness overcame me -------------------------------------- The first thing I heard was baby¡¯s screaming. But they weren¡¯t human baby¡¯s. They sounded more¡ beastial. I tried to open my eyes only to find I couldn¡¯t. My body also felt foreign and strange. ¡°No no no. I died. So why am I hearing baby¡¯s crying?¡± I thought to myself. I was then picked up by a rough but gentle hand. I was placed next to the screaming beast baby¡¯s and then left alone for the rest of the night. -------------------------------------- When I awoke from my nap, I noticed I was extremely hungry. Suddenly, a bloody smell filled my nose. I still couldn¡¯t open my eyes but I crawled closer to the smell. Once I touched it, I could tell it was meat. I ripped off pieces of the meat, fresh flesh sliding down my throat. Any other day this would probably gross me out but I was too hungry to care. I don¡¯t know how much I ate before I was full. All I know is that It was alot. I heard the other baby¡¯s eating as well, though none of them ate as much as me. -------------------------------------- About a week later I could finally open my eyes. What I saw shocked me. What surrounded me were some of the ugliest creatures I have ever seen. They had light blue skin with oversized teeth in their mouth, much like an orc¡¯s. Being a manga-fanatic I instantly recognized these for what they were. Trolls! But not just any trolls, ones famed for their godlike regeneration. Ice trolls! I could already guess what has happened to me, but I didn¡¯t want to believe it. ¡°I reincarnated into another world¡± I said with slight awe in my voice. I didn¡¯t know what to think. Truthfully, who hasn¡¯t wanted to go to another world? And if manga was true then¡ this world has magic! Motherfucking magic! While I was thinking I became a bit too excited and made some weird noises, causing the baby¡¯s to look at me. Though they weren¡¯t really baby¡¯s anymore. They looked to be the size of five years old now. If I was born at the same time as them then they¡¯re growth is extremely terrifying. There were only three of them, though they were still ugly. Wait a minute. If I was born with the frost trolls then does that mean... I looked down, expecting to see a ugly blue body. Instead, I saw a slightly wooly body with black feet like a monkeys. I brought my hands up to my face to see that they were also black. White wool plus black feet¡. ¡°What am I? I wondered I began to scan my surroundings. We were definitely inside a cave. Cold blue walls surrounded me, Icicles hanging off of them. ¡°Well thats a health hazard¡± I thought. Though, considering Ice trolls regeneration I doubt it would kill them. Suddenly a loud stomping sound brought my attention to the front of the cave. I noticed the outside was filled with snow, something I thought was quite ironic. ¡°Died in snow born in snow¡± I thought Suddenly the entrance was blocked by two massive figures. \ ¡°Jesus these things gotta be at least 13 feet tall¡± I thought In the hands of the figures were obscenely large¡ buffaloes? They had bright white skin with three horns. They tossed them into the cave, letting the body¡¯s hit with a loud thud. Instantly the other trolls rushed toward them, obviously hungry. I on the other hand hesitated. Now that I could see my meal, eating it raw didn¡¯t seem so¡ tasty. But soon hunger overcame humanity and I dived in, ripping the fur off the buffaloes and sinking my teeth into the tough sinewy muscle. ----------------------------------- It was four months later before I learned magic. By now I was 6 and a half feet tall, despite being four and a half months old. Due to the boredom of being in the cave, I had begun to work out, hoping to get my mountain climbers body back. To my surprise, one of the other trolls, who I had named Gabe began to do it with me, seeing it as fun. Jenny and John however, thought it was stupid slept all day. The result was shocking. While Jenny and John looked like the typical fat trolls, Gabe had a body that would make a bodybuilder hide in shame. Powerful pectoral muscles lined with a rock hard abdomen made him look extremely fiercesome. I had learned-with some difficulty- the language of the trolls. It was a rough guttural language, resounding on deep throat sounds. It was surprisingly diverse language for as primitive as they were. One day, after finishing working out I said ¡°Hey Gabe. You wanna go explore outside the cave?¡± ¡°No. Momma punches hard¡± he responded. Even if they¡¯re language was diverse it¡¯s a shame they were too stupid to utilize it fully. I understood what he meant though. Last time we tried to go outside we were punched in the chest by our mother and flung back inside. I couldn¡¯t move for a full day, even with my extremely high regeneration speed. When I learned enough troll language to ask mother why we couldn¡¯t go outside she simply replied ¡°Too weak. Hit One, then we talk.¡± Since then I have traveled no farther than the edge of the cave. After eating the six buffaloes mother had given us, I began to meditate. I don¡¯t know why I did it, I just simply wanted to think. To my utter amazement I felt something in the center of my chest when I did this. Instantly I thought ¡°Magic!¡± This excited me greatly. But I still didn''t know how to use this magic. I decided I would try and do it like a certain manga said I should. I stuck my hand out and concentrated my thoughts. At first I was going to do a fireball but after realizing I¡¯m in an ice environment why not try an Iceball? I concentrated on the image of an ice ball in front of me. Slowly I felt my magic begin to pour out in front of my hand, forming my thought. I was ecstatic about this. I picked up the ice ball and threw it around, playing with it. I now had two things to do until I turned one! --------------------------------------------- Six months had gone by since I learned magic. I was a relatively fast learner, so I could do some pretty amazing things. My casting speed had improved tremendously. I could now instant-cast almost any spell I had done before. Unfortunately I didn¡¯t know too many spells. I taught myself body enhancing and mana shield, much to my own surprise. I was wrestling with Gabe one day when I had the sudden inspiration to try it. I pictured my mana going on the outside of my skin and surprisingly it worked. Gabe was scared shitless when he smashed into my shield. Once I explained the situation to him, he tried to do magic himself but found he had no talent for it. Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. Mine and Gabe¡¯s body¡¯s have become incredibly tough. I was now a whopping 14 and a half feet tall, while Gabe was a massive 16 feet tall. We were both packed with pure muscle, and If I had to estimate I would say I was around 800 pounds while gabe was around 950 or so. John and Jenny however, were probably breaking the 1200 pound limit. We had to wait two tantalizing hours before mother returned home with father, breakfast in hand. I was now officially taller than them. But I still showed respect, since they were my parents. ¡°Mother¡± I started ¡°Can I go outside and play now?¡± ¡°Ugh. Yes. Not too far. Stay close.¡± She said. Before she even finished all four of us rushed outside the feel the cold snow on our skin. The sun blinded me for a moment while it reflected off the snow but soon my eyes adjusted. All around me was snow as far as the eye could see. But to the left of me was a massive forest with enormous trees. I craned my neck but still couldn¡¯t see the top. I knew what I was going to do. The first thing I did was roll a giant snowball and threw it against gabriel, who was knocked flat on his ass. I laughed at this, a loud but deep beastial laugh. Mid laughter I was smashed from my side by a large snowball, shockingly thrown by John. I was close with John, though not as close as I was with Gabe. I was planning on throwing on back but was smashed once again by a snowball, this one in the chest. I fell backwards, knocking into a tree. A large pile of snow fell on my head, to the amusement of John and Gabe. Just then a snowball smashed into the side of Gabe¡¯s head, thrown by Jenny. I smiled at this. I picked up another snowball and chucked it and John, knocking him down. We continued this snowball fight for about four hours before we began to tire. I wanted to do one thing before I got too tired though. I looked towards the large tree¡¯s and sprinted towards them. Gabe followed, close on my tail while John and Jenny looked on curiously. Due to my massive height I covered distance like nobody¡¯s business. I arrived at the trees in a few seconds, shocked at how tall they were close up. Gabe arrived shortly after, not in the least bit tired. I looked at Gabe. He destroyed the whole image of a stereotypical troll. He is a powerful friend and an even more dangerous ally. I put my hand on the side of the tree and began to climb. I grabbed one branch after another, the tree¡¯s branches barely able to support my weight. I felt like my hands and feet were made for climbing. My hands gripped perfectly as I pulled myself up each branch. I decided to try Monkey king style and began to jump from tree to tree in a square, using each tree to get higher on the next one. ¡°These tree¡¯s have to be at least 200 ft tall¡± I thought. Finally, after two minutes of climbing I arrived at the top. The view I saw was beautiful, I planted my feet firmly on the top of the tree and roared into the air, smashing my large fist¡¯s against my chest. I felt like the king of the world, with nothing to stop me. I jumped down from the top, my feet sliding against bark but taking no damage at all. I noticed that my skin was extremely tough over the past year. In one incident I was doing standing push ups when an Icicle fell from the ceiling, smashing and breaking against my foot. I was amazed at how tough my body was and planned to test how strong it really is. ----------------------------------------- Six month¡¯s have passed since my mother let us outside. Nothing major has happened. I have been steadily increasing my magic strength and ability while improving my body. I can now confirm what race I was after seeing my own reflection. I am positive that I am a yeti, a creature that I didn¡¯t think existed, even in magic stories. Today was a special day. Today was the day that we broke free from our family and go to find out own place in the world. I knew where I planned to go. I wanted to go the top of the mountain, hoping to see my whole surroundings. Mother had told me that the higher up in the mountain you go the stronger the creatures that reside their. I was confident on my strength though, so I wasn¡¯t worried. ¡°Gabe¡± I called.¡±We are brothers for life. If we ever meet again, let¡¯s eat together¡± I stuck out my arm and he clasped it. I felt a little emotional but let it pass. Ever since I reincarnated my mind has become more...violent, primal. My sense¡¯s had become extremely strong, including my body. My strongest sense was my nose, which amazed even me. I could smell prey from dozens of miles away. When they were wounded, dozens became hundreds. I began to walk up the mountain, using my long legs to quickly traverse. Mother had said we were in lower-middle area of the mountain, so I still had a long way to go. 15 minutes of traveling a snowy slope had gotten me nowhere. ¡°This is pretty boring¡± I thought. When I was a mountain climber the thrill of death had always been behind me, making it much funner. Now, I don¡¯t even feel cold, so it¡¯s not nearly as fun. I reached the top of the slope to see a flat snowy plain in front of me. I also saw something from the dinosaur ages, a wooly mammoth! I was shocked at this. It was massive, at least 18 feet tall. Instantly my mouth started to water. ¡°Never had mammoth meat¡± I thought. I created an Ice spear in my hand. Taking practiced aim, I threw it as hard as I could at the mammoth. To my shock it pierced through the mammoth completely, coming out the other end. I smiled and rushed towards it. My spear wasn¡¯t a fatal hit, mostly a piercing wound. The mammoth turned and charged at me, it¡¯s massive weight smashing against the ground. I met it head on, my massive strength stopping it dead in it¡¯s tracks. I stuck my arm out to the side and imbued it with mana. Twisting my body I punched the side of it¡¯s head. The result was disastrous. My fist went through the side of it¡¯s head and came out the other end, killing it instantly. I created an ice blade and cut open it¡¯s stomach, tasting the delicious raw meat as I stuffed myself full. I broke off the giant tusks of the mammoth and froze them, making them into sharp and durable Ice picks. I searched around the area to find a cave. After about three hours of searching I found a large cavern with an Ice troll in it. I hesitated about killing it at first, but after reminding myself that I didn¡¯t know it I quickly chopped off it¡¯s head. As I laid there with sleep overtaking me, I wondered what kind of adventures were in store for me. Teeth, ears, breath I awoke a little while later, the smell of blood drifting into my nose. My nose twitched, and I followed the smell out, since it was something I had smelled before, mixed with another scent. To my surprise I saw a group of three oversized saber-tooth tigers eating the remains of a large Ice-buffalo. I let out a low growl, making sure that they knew I was here. Wouldn¡¯t want to kill them unaware would I? They instantly looked up, their fierce eyes glaring at me. I glared back, not giving an inch. One of them-who I assumed was the leader since he was the biggest- began to walk toward me slowly, eyes never leaving mine. He was snow white with massive teeth that seemed like they could crush titanium. Pretty soon he was right underneath me. To my shock he nudged my hand with his head. I smiled and began to scratch his head and behind his ears, much to his liking. ¡°So they really are just big kitties¡± I thought in my head. ---------- A week has passed since Hank and I- became friends. With him, finding food has never been easier. His nose is much better than mine, though is hearing isn¡¯t nearly as good. I noticed I had pretty good ears for a creature of the snow, which is what I have been calling the animals around here. ¡°Grrr¡± Hank growled, warning me something was coming. I snapped back into focus, sharpening my senses to whatever was coming. A few moments later a massive mammoth came down from the top of the mountain, obviously angry at something. It was heading straight for us and looked to have no intention of stopping. But still, I was slightly nervous. This thing was running at least 20 mph downhill. Coupled with the 6000 or more pounds it was packing, this would not be an easy stop. I imbued my whole body with mana and just to be safe activated my mana shield. I began to run towards it, my long strides eating up the ground like a fat kid with noodles. We met head on, the collision actually cracked the snowy ground where we stood. I strained my body to the limit, struggling to push this massive beast back. I repositioned my hands, grabbing onto it¡¯s massive tusks, then began to push again. Apparently, the mammoth did not like anything touching it¡¯s tusks because it began to thrash it¡¯s head violently. I was thrown off in about six thrashes, unable to stop the violent movement of it¡¯s head. I smashed against the ground, feeling my shoulder go into the cold rock. To my shock, it turned around and charged at Hank, completely ignoring me. Ignore me? Ignoring me? IGNORE ME!? My vision turned red with anger. ¡°Nothing ignores me¡± I thought through a misty haze. I let out a blood curdling scream and speared the side of the mammoth smashing him to the ground. It..mammothed in pain, letting out painful noises. But I didn¡¯t care, I just began to smash it¡¯s furry head in, never relenting even when it screamed even louder. Finally after ten punches or so I crushed its skull in. I ripped off it¡¯s head and roared, presenting my kill to the world. Hank backed up from me, obviously scared. I smiled at him, giving my blood splattered face a dark image. About an hour after I went psycho, my red vision went away and I felt extremely tired. Hank and I searched for a place to sleep. I was dragging the massive mammoths corpse behind me. We had already eaten three fourths of it, so there wasn¡¯t much left. After 20 minutes of searching we found a small cave that I assumed was occupied, as food scrapings were everywhere. I told Hank to take watch while I slept. I swear to whatever gods are out there I slept for about five seconds before hank woke me up. What came inside the cave was a large rhino with a one small horn then another massive one up front. I looked at my frozen ice tusks then back at that horn, then smiled. I charged at the rhino looking to claim its horn. To my shock the horn began to heat up, glowing red over the outside of it. It stomped its hoof and began to charge at me, its horn like a deadly firespear. ¡°Magical Beast!¡± I thought. My tusk¡¯s in hand I waited until the last possible second then leapt in the air, soaring over the beast. The beast reacted instantly, lifting it¡¯s two massive legs into the air and somehow stabbed me in the thigh. I roared in pain. This shit seriously hurt! I fell down from the air rolling in snow to cool my leg down. The horn was so hot that it actually sealed my wound shut, only causing a piercing injury. I smiled, because even as I watched the wound was healing itself extremely fast.. This was the first time that a creature had been able to hurt me. I imbued my tusks with more mana and threw both of the at the rhino. One of them went into it¡¯s front left leg while the other one skittered harmlessly off its back. I created an Ice spike and shot it forward, aiming for the rhino¡¯s eye. Instead, right when it got close enough it melted due to the heat. The hot water splashed in the rhino¡¯s left eye, making it roar with pain. It charged at me blindly, hoping to spear me. I created an ice pike and set it against the ground. Since the rhino was blinded it could only rush to it¡¯s doom impaled itself through its right side legs. Once it was down, I imbued my fist¡¯s with mana and began to punch for all I had. I never stopped as I smashed against its armor, using my weight to make sure it didn¡¯t move. Hank and I ate good that night. The rhino meat went well with my tastebuds. Hank didn¡¯t complain so I assumed he liked it. I decided to take watch first, letting hank sleep first. It was about mid-day when I awoke. Hank had taken two shifts for me, when he was only supposed to take one. I scratched and wrestled with him for that, playing with him as I would a kitten. I have come to learn that Hank loves his butt being scratched, just like my old fat cat Toby. When we finally left the cave it was dark outside. I had never explored during the dark, so it was a new experience for me. I realized that I could see relatively well, even with the raging snowstorm. ¡°Damn, my fur is pretty thick¡± I thought. I¡¯m positive that if a human came up here he would be frozen in an instant, yet I still feel nice and cozy. Hank seemed to be doing fine, though he would shiver once in a while. Suddenly my nose twitched, the smell of something I hadn¡¯t smelled in an extremely long time. Campfire! I rushed towards it on all fours, smelling another scent mixed in with it. It wasn¡¯t long before I could see the flickering flame amongst the snow. I got down onto my chest, crawling military style. I saw a tiny figure emerge from a tent, putting more wood on the logs. When I got close enough to see him, I was shocked. His skin was pale white, almost blue. At first I thought he had frostbite or some other skin disease, but his movements were fluid, graceful. Beside me Hank growled. I thought he was angry, but when I saw what his eyes were looking at I smiled. Right above the fire with a stick stuck through its stomach was a very large pig. My mouth watered at the sight. Taking a closer look at the figure, I instantly guessed it was a snow elf. Pale skin, elf ears with smooth white hair, what else could it be? I was planning on continuing my journey to the top of the mountain when suddenly I heard a footstep behind. In under half a second I imbued my body with mana and put a mana shield around me. I wasn¡¯t delusional enough to think that I could fight with beings with my mana -if the readings of manga are correct- that have lived for hundreds of years. I was planning on crushing whoever snuck up on me, hoping that my speed was enough. I just barely managed to avoid crushing the small figure that was bundled in cloaks. Beside it the ground cracked due to the strength of my fist, causing the snow to be blasted off. I glared at the elf my golden eyes scanning for any sign of threat. It had chocolate brown skin with contrastingly white hair, making me wonder if it was sick. Beautiful brown eyes with perfect elven features to make even an elf jealous. I had to think about how to speak again after not having spoke in a long while. ¡°l...L.Leave¡± I grumbled in a deep throaty voice. I turned around and walked away, keeping my mana shield and enhancements on in case the elf attacked. Strangely enough, it began to follow me. After about 100 steps or so I turned around and growled. The elf looked at me in fear and backed up, tripping over itself in the process. I started walking again and once again, the elf started to follow me. Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. ¡°Is she an idiot?¡± I wondered. This time Hank growled, though it didn¡¯t sound particularly aggressive, just like it was trying to swat an annoying fly away. The bundled cloth of fur was undeterred, walking closer as if it knew we wouldn¡¯t harm it. We walked like this for about an hour, me growling and her falling, only to repeat the process over and over again before I was finally fed up. ¡°LEAVE¡± I roared, not wanting to have it with me. It let out a small squeal, hiding behind Hank, looking at me as if to say ¡°Not my fault¡±. ¡°Elfs are annoying¡± I thought. We walked for another two hours before I heard a soft thunk in the snow. I turned around to see the bundle of elf lying in the snow, unmoving. I was seriously considering leaving her there when I thought about how I myself had died, wishing for someone to come save me. It was just bad luck I had faced after returning from the climb of Mt.Everest. I grabbed the bundle of fur and brought it to my chest. I didn¡¯t know any fire magic so I just brought it close to my chest, letting my body heat warm it up. Three hours later (AN:Sorry for all the mini-time skips, just don¡¯t have anything to say during the in between period) I felt the bundle of elf stir in my chest. Looking down, I saw the large chocolate eyes staring up at me, as if unsure of it¡¯s situation. A sudden realization hit me. I don¡¯t know elf! I yelled at it in the english language, so it most definitely didn¡¯t understand. As if to prove my theory, it tried to say something to me. I cocked my head, trying to listen to what it said. After a while I decided to ignore it, letting her babble on as we walked up the mountain. Pretty soon the elf fell asleep again, resting against me as a baby would. ¡°It was still about midnight¡± I thought. Indeed, Hank and I had left mid-day, so it was getting midnight out. Well, I say mid-day but since I could just barely see the sun through the snowstorm I just assumed. We walked for about ten more hours before I realized we neared the top. Instantly I froze. I smelled something...powerful. There was something that was bothering earlier as I was walking further up the mountain. Why was there no prey? I had seen scarce life of prey since I had arrived up here, with only a few things that gathered my interest. A few seconds later and my question was answered. A sky shattering roar was heard from the top of the mountain, setting even my nerves on edge. The bundle instantly woke up, looking scared out of it¡¯s mind. I looked down at the bundle then at Hank. I placed the bundle on top of Hank then pointed down the mountain. He understood my message. He bounded down the mountain, the poor elf hanging on for dear life. I was excited. If that roar was what I think it was then...I was going to be in for the fight of my life. I bounded up the mountain, excitement coursing through my veins as I ran. Finally I arrived at the top of the mountain. To my surprise the top of the mountain was a cave. I massively large cave which could house even the biggest of monsters. Putting on my mana shield and enhancements, I roared and charge inside. To my utmost disappointment, nothing was inside except a bunch of treasures. Gems and gold created mountains in the large circular room I had arrived at after running through the hall. I jumped in the gold, bored and laughing as it went flying. I saw a skinny and extremely thin blade standing atop a pile of corpses. I walked over to it undaunted. I picked it up and swung, amazed at how light it was. I knew a decent amount of swordfighting as I practiced it in High School. I went over my old form, slicing and slashing through gold, liking the way the sword felt in my hands. I tossed it to the side, my interest gone. I was a magical beast, I had no reason for a sword. I had spent about an hour or two in their, messing around and having fun. I was planning on leaving when suddenly a massive roar entered the room, deafening me. I roared back in defiance, trying to blot out it¡¯s noise. The inside of the dome shook as whatever it was came bounding down the hallway, eager to kill it¡¯s intruder. Imagine it¡¯s shock when It found a tall-but short by it¡¯s means- furry creature sitting atop a pile of gold. Know try and Imagine my shock when a massive dragon that made me feel like an ant came bounding into the room and stopped and stared at me. I felt like it could paralyze me with it¡¯s eyes alone. I smiled and let out a blood chilling roar. The dragon roared back. The fight begins. Grabbin a large pile of gold in my right hand I flung it at the dragon then dived off the pile, not a split second too soon as a massive tail smashed through the gold pile, sending it everywhere. I landed with a large thud and charged the dragon, my mana infused strides taking it clearly off guard. I planted my foot and rotated my waist, sending my mana fist straight into it¡¯s scaly legs. It roared in pain, the scales smashed to bits. The dragon rose it¡¯s leg as it tried to stomp be. Instead I leapt backwards, making sure to be far from it. Unfortunately I couldn¡¯t dodge the rib breaking tail that smashed into my side, sending me flying through the air. Even as I flew I could feel my godlike regeneration healing me, stitching my bones back together.I saw the dragon rear up and suck in breath, then it aimed at me. I wondered what it was doing but I soon got my answer. It let out a giant stream of icy breath, the mere shot freezing gold coins in the radius. I had nowhere to run so I opted on my thick fur to protect me. That was a gamble well spent. All I felt was a cool breeze freeze over my body. At first I thought the Ice blast was weak, but when I turned my head to see if everything was intact I saw a mountain of frozen gold, with ice that seemed like even with a sledgehammer a strongman couldn¡¯t crack it. This shocked both me and the dragon, primarily on how I was still alive. I created two Ice balls and hurtled them with all my strength, smashing into the dragons face. It roared in pain and swiped at me with its deadly claws, threatening to slice my body in half. I just barely managed to survive by enhancing my legs and jumping, much to the dragons annoyance. Once again it¡¯s tail flashed, smashing at me in midair. I went down in a pile of coins, stuck in the middle of them. I rolled out in the nick of time as the dragon froze the pile of coins, trying to trap me inside. I started to get angry. Why couldn¡¯t I kill this overgrown lizard. I charged at it, hoping it would fall for my trick. It worked, at the dragon swiped it¡¯s tail once again. This time I imbued my whole body with mana and took the blow head on, sending me skidding but with it¡¯s massive tail in my hands. I put everything I had into the attack I used. I brought my knee up and my elbow down at the same time, creating a horrible amount of pressure, with the tail stuck in between. It worked perfectly, the dragons tail end crushed to the bone. The dragon roared but I wasn¡¯t finished. With one mighty yank I ripped off the tail, then threw it at the dragon as if to rub his humiliation in. My vision was turning redder by the minute and I knew pretty soon that I would loose control. I ran at the dragon and jumped onto its back. I crushed both of its giant wings while it tried to shake me off. Right after I broke the second wing I created an Ice hammer and smashed it down on top of the dragons back, hoping to weaken it. It didn¡¯t work, only making the dragon angrier. Suddenly insight flashed on me. I jumped off the back, narrowly avoiding the claws that came when I did. I ran toward the leg that had shattered scales and began to repeatedly punch it. I tried something I have never done before. I used my claws, slashing like a true animal. It worked to a terrifying degree, taking off scales easier than punches. I was slightly surprised that my fingernail claws worked this well. The dragon, after having taken too much pain collapsed to the ground, letting out painful moans. I briefly wondered if it was trying to talk. Unfortunately, even if it was their was no way for me to communicate with it. I looked at it¡¯s throat, staring down from above. I raised my foot and with all my strength crushed it, leaving it to choke to death. I stood down the top of the mountain and used a trick I had recently learned. Imbuing my throat with mana, I roared at the top of my lungs in victory, letting every creature know that I was the winner. The half-breed My name is Zayan Malkachite. My friends(If I had any) call me Zayzay. I am the mix between a dark elf and a snow elf, something that is highly looked down upon. My mother died in childbirth due to having a weak body while my father drank himself to death when I was four due to loneliness. Even as a child I knew I was different. My skin made the other children think of me as a dark elf, but due to my white hair the dark elf children treated me like a snow elf. I was stuck between a tiger and a lion. I was helping around the village by doing odd jobs here and there. Usually, the client¡¯s would scam me, saying I didn¡¯t do the job right or I ripped a shirt which had already been ripped. I never complained though. I was happy that I could help. I loved to play music. When I was five years old I received a present from the orphanage I was living in. That present was a small silver flute with beautiful engravings on it. I had asked our ¡°Headmaster¡± who it was from, but she refused to tell me. I was pretty bad at first, but soon I got the hang of it and was able to produce beautiful sounds while I played. When I turned seven, I had finally learned who I received the flute from. I was in the market place, hoping to buy some frozen krablash, which is like a mix between a banana and an kumquat. I had just purchased them when a man with a face exactly like my dead mothers passed me, looking like he had urgent business. ¡°Wait!¡± I yelled, chasing after him. Dozens of questions raced through my head. Who was this man? Was I related to him? Why does he look like my mother? I chased him down the street, hoping to catch him. He was very fast, weaving in and out of the crowd like a snake. Suddenly he stopped abruptly, causing me to smack into him. I fell down to the ground, letting out a ¡°Ouchie Ouchie¡± sound as I got up. He turned around to look at me, his calm blue eyes giving off a feeling of reassurance. ¡°I¡¯m sorry¡± he said, apologizing ¡°It¡¯s fine. It was my fault. I just wanted to know¡ do you know Sadie Malkachite?¡± I asked, curious to see if he was related to me. The name struck him like a thunderbolt. His whole body stiffened and suddenly his blue eyes looked like raging storms. Calming himself, he said ¡°How do you know that name¡± ¡°How? Well, shes my mother after all¡± I said. His eyes widened until they seemed like they would pop out of his head. ¡°You...are.. Zayan?¡± he said in an astonished voice. I gave him a bright smile and said ¡°That¡¯s me¡± He began to laugh. A loud joyous laughter that made me feel happy. ¡°Well then! I guess that makes me your big brother¡± He said with a smile. I stared at him in astonishment. I had a brother? I began to tear up. ¡°I¡*Sniffle* I have a question *Sniffle. Were you the one that gave me the harmonica for my birthday present?¡± This had been bugging me ever since I got it. I wanted to say my thanks for whoever did. I noticed his smile froze for half a second before saying ¡°That¡¯s right! I had been so busy doing quest¡¯s that I could only send a present to my little sister Zayan¡± He said with a small smile. ¡°No!! Thank you so much for the flute!¡± I said, bowing ----------------- It had been two years since I met my brother. He took me in with him, away from the orphanage. I had done a bunch of errands with him, going on quest¡¯s and the such while he protected me. I hate to say it, but I am kind of smitten with him. He had white hair with a chiseled face, perfect nose and a body of marble that could make any woman fall in love in an instant. He was an extremely strong warrior, possibly one of the strongest in the continent. One day, I was eating lunch at my brothers house when he said ¡°Zayan. Do you want to see a dragon?¡± I dropped my spoon into my soup. A dragon? Who wouldn¡¯t! They were mystical and powerful beast¡¯s of nature that could paralyze a man with just it¡¯s eyes ¡°Of course I do!¡± I said in an excited voice. ¡°Well, the gang and I got a mission to subjugate a wild Ice dragon in the mountains that has been terrorizing mountain beast¡¯s, forcing high tier beast¡¯s down to the lower levels. We will be leaving soon. Wanna come? Though be warned, it will be dangerous. Although the dragon is still a young one, only about 30 years old.¡± I hesitated after that, Dragon¡¯s were known to be extremely brutal, and naturally I still valued my life. But I fully believed my brother would protect me from the dragon. ¡°I do!!¡± I shouted ----- The trip of the mountain actually wasn¡¯t that hard. Snow elves were naturally resistant to the Ice and cold, so that wasn¡¯t an issue. However, the magical beast¡¯s that my brother and his twin swords ¡°Arkung¡± and ¡°Nimjong¡± had to keep killing was more than a little problem. It wasn¡¯t their fault that they were forced to the bottom of the mountain, but we couldn¡¯t let them kill us after all. I truly believe dragons are terrible creatures that do not belong in this world. Wherever the go they mess up the whole ecosystem, since few-if any- magical beast¡¯s can actually fight them. They feed on mountains of meat that could feed a village by themselves. It was about mid-way up the mountain when we spotted a peculiar sight. Two fat Ice trolls were trudging up a hill, which wasn¡¯t that peculiar. What was peculiar was the massive 16ft tall extremely muscular ice troll in front of them. My brother and the gang- Which consisted of Sable the rogue, Sabrina the mage, Akari the Archer and Kaden the swordsman(My Brother)- had all opted to go and kill the buff one. They all knew that if an ice troll like that were to live, it would grow to be extremely powerful. They began to walk over towards it, weapons drawn and magic ready when a throaty growl stopped them. What appeared in front of us were two pissed off looking saber tooth tigers that seemed like they were missing their leader. ¡°Weird¡± I thought. Almost all saber tooths travel in packs and there is always a leader, no exception. These two seemed like they had been fighting to get leadership. ¡°Go beasts¡± Sabrina said. ¡°We have no qualms with you¡± I wasn¡¯t sure they could understand. Instead of responding, one of them leapt at us-more specifically me- and tried to slash my throat out with it¡¯s claws. Instead, it met a powerful blue barrier that shimmered visibly when it¡¯s body smashed against it ¡°Heavy cat aint cha?¡± To this day I had never called a Feline animal a cat again. Both saber tooths just looked at her. It seemed as if time had stopped as they focused on her. The hair on their backs rose, giving them an even more intimidating appearance, Both of them charged recklessly at her, ignoring anyone else. Sabrina quickly threw up her mana shield, only to be smashed into next week as the animals pawed at her, hitting her around. Akari shot a perfectly placed arrow into one of the beast¡¯s eyes, while Sable slit the throat of another one, but only after getting clawed on his back. I tended to his wound, wrapping bandages around it. It was a little pointless with a mage, but Sabrina didn¡¯t specialize in healing magic, so I wanted her to save her energy for later. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. After about four more hours of climbing, we decided to make camp at a small flat of snowy land. I helped set of camp, placing down firewood we had grabbed earlier as well as bandaging up the gang. Finally, after finishing all these jobs I set up a tent with Sabrina and went to sleep. During the middle of the night I happened to hear the tent zipper get pulled down and opened. I waited till Sabrina had left, then counted to ten and turned around. I heard wood get put on the fire, then the crackling of flames as the fire devoured the wood. I snuck out of the tent, intent on following Sabrina. To my surprise she went into my brother¡¯s lit tent, showing the figures of the other gang members. I snuck closer, hoping to hear their conversation. ¡°..ittle brat isn¡¯t she? Always acting all happy and shit. Makes me wanna slice her throat¡± Huh? ¡°Yea she is annoying as fuck. When do you plan on killing her?¡± ¡°Patience my friends, patience. I happen to know this particular young dragon we are going to. I¡¯ll simply ask him to leave and find a new spot. During that time, I will also offer up Zayan as it¡¯s mistress. You know how he looks exotic things¡± I couldn¡¯t see who was talking, but I knew from the voice that it was my brother. It felt like I was getting dropped in a frozen lake repeatedly the shock was so great. This was my brother! Why does he feel that way about me? What have I ever done to him ¡°You know Kaden, you have never told us why you hate her. Two years ago you told us you had a little girl you wanted to kill, then went as far as befriending a dragon. How come?¡± This was the same thing I wanted to know ¡°Why you ask.. ha..haha...HAHAHAHAhA. That disgusting little whores mother cheated on my father and stole all of his belongings and money, leaving us penniless and in debt. My father was a proud man who worked himself to death to keep me out of debt. So I thought I would do the same to her. I would make her love me, then crush her emotions. I so desperately want to see that pained face¡± I wanted to cry. I wanted to end my life right there and then. but for some reason I didn¡¯t. It was as if some part of me knew all along that this was fake, that he wasn¡¯t to be trusted. I was considering walking back to the tent when I heard a loud crunch of snow to my right. Instantly I thought ¡°Magical beast!¡± My first reaction was to shout out for help. But who am I kidding? They don¡¯t love me nor do I love them anymore. My brother betrayed me, so now I will betray him. I walked toward the sound, being extra careful so as not to alert the beast. I couldn¡¯t see it at first, just an endless plain of snow. But when I was about a foot away from it I noticed it. It was laying on the ground, at least 11 feet in height, possibly more. White wooly skin with black hands and feet made it a terrifying creature. It¡¯s muscles, even covered by thick fur were evident through it¡¯s body. Beside it was a pure white saber-tooth tiger and possibly the biggest of it¡¯s species. I stepped backwards, reflexive fear making move. Almost impossibly it heard that noise, and with superbeast speed it¡¯s fist appeared in front of my face in under half a second, just narrowly missing my fist. It smashed right next to me; the snow was blasted away, the earth itself trembling at the power of the fist. I froze, not daring to even breath in it¡¯s presence. It¡¯s gold eyes were beautiful, though in a beastly way. I wondered why it didn¡¯t kill me. Normal animals tend to love elf¡¯s, but for some reason magical beast¡¯s hate them with a passion. ¡°. .. . ¡ ¡..¡± It said something in a throaty voice. Elf¡¯s could naturally speak almost any language in the world, a gift from the goddess of nature. But for some strange reason I couldn¡¯t understand this one. ¡°It must be beast language¡± I thought. It turned around, leaving me to stare at its hairy back. I made a decision right there and then. I would go and follow this creature, which for some unknown reason left me alive. I couldn¡¯t make it back down the mountain by myself, nor could I go back to my death. I would walk forward with my head held high! Multiple times the beast tried to get me to stop following it, roaring at me and growling in attempt to leave me behind. Still, I followed persistently, intent on staying with it. At least until it went back down to the lower levels, that way I could sneak away from it and go back home. Two hours later I felt my conscience start to fade. I had only gotten three hours of sleep in two days, but for a kid that is extremely rough. ¡°Don..don¡¯t leave me¡± I tried to cry. Instead, I blacked out, falling face first into the snow. After an unknown amount of time later I woke up, my dreams scaring me awake. I had dreamt about my mother who died during childbirth, cursing me for her death. Major shock filled me as I looked up into the face of the fury beast itself, it¡¯s eyes staring into my soul. I was scared to near death. I wasn¡¯t sure what it would do me. Although I desired death I still strongly sought to live. ¡°H-h-hello?¡± I said in elvish. It cocked it¡¯s head in a funny way, making me giggle inside. I don¡¯t know what came over to me, but I began to talk about my life. I had never opened up to anyone before-especially a beast-but I realized I just never had anyone willing to listen, even my brother. I told it about my mother and my father, about my life at the orphanage and how I had gotten the flute from a mysterious person. I told it about my ability to play music extremely well, and what had just happened recently. Before I knew it I was tired again and fell asleep in it¡¯s arms. I awoke to an ear-rupturing roar. Shocked out of my sleep I rose quickly, trying to gather my bearings. I knew that the sound could only belong to one animal:A dragon! But if we were close to the dragon, then that means¡ we were going up the mountain! I had never noticed in my daze, just blindly followed the beast. Suddenly I was picked up and placed on top of the saber-tooth tiger, much to it¡¯s annoyance. With a few points and words from the beast, we bounded down the mountain, going down it at speeds that scared me to death. Murderer I was currently in a stand-off with four elves. Well, I really wouldn¡¯t call it a stand-off because we just happened to bump in to each other on my way out of the dragon¡¯s cave. I had gone back in to eat the delicious dragon meat when I thought I heard some voices. Curious, I walked outside only to bump into a female snow elf who was currently in shock. Behind her were three males who wielded a bow, dual swords and the third one had a few daggers strapped around him. I didn¡¯t really know what to do and I was still quite tired from killing the dragon. The tail on that thing is extremely deadly. ¡°... ¡ ¡¡± One of the elves said. As if I speak elf. I slowly walked forward to the side, not wanting to cause trouble. Even as I walked I could feel their eyes boring into my back, the slightest movement would cause them to attack. After an agonizingly slow walk, I arrived at the front of the cave, the hallway gone behind me. I bounded down the mountain, feeling the cold rush of air on my fur. I roared loudly, signaling for Hank to return. It took a minute, but he came bounding up the hill with the small bundle of fur on his back, clinging for dear life When he reached me he stopped abruptly, causing the bundle to get thrown off his back. It flew threw the air only to hit against my chest, I grabbed her before she fell backward, causing her hood to fall down. I stared at her in shock. Brown skin with white hair? She must be a half breed. She stared at me, as if to judge her for her looks. Instead, I simply picked her up and carried her back up the mountain, Hank in tow. I planned on giving her back to those elf¡¯s I saw. If worst comes to worst she can go to an orphanage. As much as I would love to interact with an elf, I didn¡¯t know the language and I doubt a child like her can teach me. At least, I assume its a she. I¡¯m just going by the long hair. I hadn¡¯t ran that far down the mountain so we arrived at the top fairly quickly. I sniffed the air, the scent of elves was still here. Something else too, but I couldn¡¯t put my finger on it. I walked inside, undaunted as the small elf clung to my chest like a child. The scent of roasted meat filled my nose as I walked through the hallway ¡°Those fucking assholes¡± I thought as the delicious meat scent filled my nose. I hurried my pace, hoping to get some of the food. I rounded the bend to see the dragon was neatly cut up and piled into chunks of meat, as well as the gold was spread out in mysteriously shaped spread eagle forms. See? And you guys thought I was weird for jumping in gold. They stared at me with their hands on their weapons. no, it wasn¡¯t me they stared at. It was the little elf that was clinging to my chest, now in fear rather than normalicy. ¡°Hooh? Guess they know each other¡± ----------------------------------------------------- Kaden¡¯s Pov (Brother) That little bitch escaped. When Sabrina went back to her tent, she came running out shouting that she was missing. I nearly slit her throat in rage. But no matter, even if she ran away I can find her. We searched around the camp for about an hour before Sable said he found some large footprints that came to our camp, seemingly to spy on us. We quickly packed our bags and closed the tents then followed the prints. There were two sets, one large and unidentified, the other a saber tooth tiger. We followed them for hours, only stopping to rest and eat. Suddenly we heard an extremely loud roar. A few seconds after that the large rumbling of snow could be heard. ¡°Avalanche!¡± I screamed. To the left side of us a massive amount of snow was coming down. I ran as fast as I could but it still managed to keep me in it¡¯s grasp, I went down under the snow, my breathing cut off with no escape. I began to panic then forced myself to calm down. Using the spell Ice-field, I froze the snow around me to a stable surface. Imbuing my legs with mana, I jumped on the ice and broke through the snow, feeling the cold air touch my skin. I looked around to see Sabrina was floating in the air, Akari had used a rope arrow and was hanging from Sabrina¡¯s hand and Sable had done the same as me. After that little setback we followed the footprints for another two hours, each step making the imprint¡¯s get deeper and deeper ¡°They¡¯re getting closer¡± I thought to myself Two more hours of walking later we arrived at a spot where the Saber-tooth and the beast split. Suddenly a large, powerful beastial roar was heard once again, almost as terrifying as the dragon. We rushed up the mountain, the cave in sight. It took a few minutes but we reached it quickly. What met us was a large white wool beast with black skin and muscles that looked like they were going to explode. Sabrina was in front, so she was naturally the closest. We had drawn our weapons, fear making us act without thinking. I was expecting it to attack, but it just stared at us, it¡¯s eyes scanning us as if it was thinking who to kill first. Why didn¡¯t we attack it instantly? Intelligence. If you looked into the beast¡¯s eyes, without a doubt you could see how intelligent it was. It moved to the side and began to walk forward, as if we weren¡¯t even worth it¡¯s time. I definitely didn¡¯t want to disrespect the dragons guest. After all, most likely it was a Magical beast as well. I let out a giant breath that I didn¡¯t even know I was holding. How dare a shitty beast like that scare me. I should slice off it¡¯s testicles and make it eat them. I began to turn around before I heard Sabrina scream. ¡°What?? What is it?¡± I shouted ¡°The dragon! It¡¯s It¡¯s¡!!!¡± I didn¡¯t get what she was trying to say. What could be wrong with the dragon? Fifteen footsteps later I found out. It was lying on the ground dead. It¡¯s neck was smashed in, the scales on it leg all broken and smashed. It¡¯s back was a mess of wounds, skin scales and meat ripped out. There was only one explanation for this. The beast. ¡°Shit!¡± I thought. I wanted to chase after it, but even I doubted if I could kill it. I knew that if I truly tried to kill It I could, but I wasn¡¯t sure how injured I would be on the outcome. Better to grow stronger then kill it later. But now that the dragon was dead¡ ¡°THIS IS ALL OURS!!¡± I screamed in joy. So much gold. Millions, if not billions of worth in gold coins. ¡°This baby dragon was such a hoarder¡± Sabrina said while doing a snow angel in a pile of gold coins. The others were stuffing their pockets with money, but I knew what I wanted. I had come here before and that particular item caught my eye every time I came. Finally I found it, sitting atop a mountain of gold coins. ¡°Akrung, the sword of glass ice!¡± I yelled in joy. It was a beautiful blade crafted by elven and dwarf smiths together. The elves did the enchantments on the blade and the handle, giving it extra durability and speed. The blade was as hard as adamantium yet skinny as glass and weightless like a feather. ¡°The dwarves are truly god¡¯s of crafting¡± I said while inspecting the blade. Beautiful was the only way to describe it. Pouring mana into the blade, the runes lit up, revealing what can only be seen with magic. I struck the nearest pile of gold. The result was instant. Everything the blade had struck was frozen solid. The gold was as harder than a rock right now. Sable and I cut up the dragon, making large sections of meat and stacking them for the return journey. ¡°I¡¯m gonna need a Space Ring for all this gold¡± A space ring was just as it¡¯s name described. Using gravity, teleportation and other various magic it creates a room in which you can store a near infinite amount of objects inside. Sabrina created a fireplace for the meat to cook, letting the delicious scent fill the air. I was about to go and practice when I heard large footsteps outside. I turned around and waited. I could roughly guess who it was, but I hoped I was wrong. Unfortunately, I wasn¡¯t. Standing in the entrance was the large beast with a hungry look on it¡¯s face. Beside it was pure snow white saber tooth tiger by it¡¯s side. But despite those two beast¡¯s standing there, what interested me more was the object in it¡¯s hands. Or should I say person. Zayan! Zayan was resting in it¡¯s arms like a child, staring at us with terrified eyes. ¡°Zayan! Why did you run away?¡± I asked with a dark smile. I could easily guess the reason she ran, but I wanted to torture her. ¡°You know why!¡± She screamed, tears forming in her eyes. ¡°I do? I must have forgotten¡± ¡°You want to kill me! I thought you loved me! We¡¯re brother and sister! What have I ever done to you! I love you! Why...why...why¡± she cried, burying her head in the beast¡¯s fur. ¡°It¡¯s because of your whore of a mother. Cheating on my father, stealing all of his money then leaving him for a fucking dark elf!? I will kill you you fucking brat. No. In fact, I will sell you to the humans as an elven slave. You will be used as nothing more than a toy for the fat pig that are nobles. And when your mind is broke, I will erase your memories. Then, I will repeat the process over and over again until even your soul begs for release.¡± The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. She tried to cover her ears but it was no use. I used sound magic to amplify my voice, the noise echoing off the cavern. I walked forward and stretched out my hand, intending to take the girl away from the beast. ---------------------- Beast¡¯s Pov (Don¡¯t worry, I¡¯ll get a name for it soon :D) She definitely doesn¡¯t want to go to them. The elf began to talk rapidly, and from the gestures and crying I could tell what he was going to do wasn¡¯t pleasant. He began to walk towards me, his eyes on the prize. He stretched his hand out for the elf. I growled a deep warning growl. He jumped backwards in fright, giving me a nice laugh inside. I walked closer to him, making him walk backwards. I pulled the girl off my chest, much to her fear. I sat her down on the ground then walked backward. She began to follow me but I growled, making her stop. The elf began to walk towards her but I growled again, irritated that no one had any patience. He froze where he stood, unsure if he should risk it. After walking a sufficient distance, I pointed at the girl, then the elf, back to the girl, then at me. My meaning was clear. Either come to me or go to the elf. The response was instantaneous. She bounded toward me, her small legs carrying her as fast as she could. She stuck her arms up in the air, asking to be carried. At this I laughed. A deep yet loud laugh that filled the entire cavern. I decided to oblige, picking her up and bringing her to my chest. I then turned around and walked forward towards the roasting meat. I hadn¡¯t had anything roasted since I arrived in this world. I grabbed the meat off the large stick and took a massive bite out of it. I nearly cried at the taste. The juicy flavor melted in my mouth making me¡.scream? Scream I did. When the first bite went down my throat, unimaginable pain filled me. It felt as if someone was taking part of my body out. I barely managed to dodge the arrow that was shot at me. I tried to summon my magic, but to my shock it wouldn¡¯t work. I charged the arrow shooter, only to get smashed to the side by an unseen force. Magic I assumed. Hank roared and jumped at the elf that was flying in the air. She was about to dodge but suddenly Hanks claw was encased in a large version of ice. It smashed against the mana shield, sending the elf flying into a pile of gold. She got up looking fine but extremely pissed I, on the other hand, got up slowly, my natural regeneration wasn¡¯t working as fast as it should, though compared to other race¡¯s it was still terrifyingly fast. I felt a blade slash against my leg, drawing warm thick blood. Two more slashed me before I could process what was happening. Beneath me was a shrouded elven figure. I sent out a kick, but I was pitifully slow compared to him. I rushed behind a pile of gold, not wanting to fight Lightning mcqueen behind me. I smashed a pile of gold on my way, causing my attacker to jump backwards. Running towards the mage, I grabbed a large Ice spike and flung it at her, fully intent to kill her. Unfortunately, due to the pain my aim was a little off and I ended up hitting her leg, causing her to fall backward and smash into the ground. Her mana shield flickered for a few seconds, causing her face to be alive with terror. I was planning on grabbing another spike when I felt a blade leave a large but shallow cut on my back. It healed almost instantly. I smiled. ¡°My regeneration is back¡± I cheered in my head. If my regeneration is back then my magic should¡ Nope. I tried to do an Ice-explosion at my feet but it didn¡¯t work. My magic felt wild, chaotic. I ran toward Sabrina, once again intending to kill her. If she could heal the others during this fight, then It would be a major disadvantage towards me. Speaking of others¡. where is the swordsman. I got my answer a few seconds later when a loud scream made me stop in my tracks. Little elf was on top a mountain of gold, with the dual swordsman elf climbing up it. She was throwing gold at him in an attempt to knock him down, but it was only a temporary distraction. Another blade went through my leg and I snapped. I smashed the ground with all my strength, causing cracks to form in a large radius and the cavern shook. I roared as loud as I could, the blood red rage taking over. An arrow went through my eye before I could stop it from happening.I roared again, this time shaking the cavern with my voice alone.I swung my fist at the mage, smashing her and her shield against the wall. It broke apart instantly and my fist made her body explode. A large amount of blood and other organs splattered everywhere. I heard the sick sound of puke hitting the ground. Before the puking rogue could recover I grabbed him by the legs, crushing his bones as I raised him in the air. I aimed at the dual swordsman who was now nearly at the top of the pile. Just from how long it took him to climb the pile, one could Imagine how big it was (Thats what she said!) I threw the rogue like a boomerang, his body sailing towards dual elf. The elf could only turn his head in horror as the body smashed against his side, sending him against the side of the cave, which in turn caused icicles to drop on top of him. Hank had already killed arrow elf, so I just needed to finish off dual sword, who was currently throwing his friends corpse off with an unsatisfied expression on his face. I began to walk towards him when all of the sudden he disappeared. With extreme speed he appeared right in front of me, swords aimed at my throat. In the nick of time I raised my arm, feeling immense pain as my hand down to my elbow was chopped off ¡°Graaaah!¡± I roared, causing Ice to come out of my mouth. I was so shocked that I let out a ¡®Hah?¡± In the middle of my roar. That breath looked exactly like the dragons breath. Apparently the elf was shocked as well. In a split second I inhaled as much air as I could then let out my breath. Exactly as I predicted, ice breath shot out of my mouth, freezing everything in its path. The elf jumped out of harms way on to a pile of gold. My arm had nearly regenerated, but my magic still wasn¡¯t working. I punched the golden pile, hoping to knock him off. My left eye had just finished regenerating, so I was now almost fully operational. My hand still hadn¡¯t finished the fingers but I still swung at him anyways. He slashed again, severing my fingers once more. I stomped on the ground, causing the pile of gold to fall on him. I exhaled as fast as I could, but only managed to freeze one leg. Still, that was enough. I rotated my body and smashed my leg against his chest, sending him flying. Before he could recover I hammered him down mercilessly, blood spewing everywhere. I left him on the edge of dying, coughing of blood as he tried to escape. I walked towards the bundle of elf, my blood soaked appearance causing her fright. I reached out my hand and she flinched, afraid I was going to hurt her. When she saw I meant no harm, she tentatively grabbed my hand. I pulled her out of the mountain of coins she barricaded herself in, then walked toward the ice thin sword that was lying on the ground. I picked it up and handed it to her. I pointed to the dual elf lying on the ground then made a stabbing motion, indicating what I wanted her to do. She shook her head, but when I growled and picked her up I left her no choice. Surprisingly the elf had made it to the hallway and was crawling about in fear. I just laughed and smiled. I smashed his legs, causing him to scream in pain. I handed the elf the sword, then held the extremely durable but nearly dead elf by its legs. The elf began to talk, trying to say something. He was pleading, begging her to let him live. She started crying, tears and snot running down her face as she raised the blade over his heart. He was screaming now, rage and spittle flying out of his face. Looking away, she screamed as she drove the blade straight into his heart. He had one last look of pain on his face, then his face glazed over. She just sat there, looking at her hands. She looked at me, then more tears ran down her face as she ran at me. She jumped into my fur, bawling her eyes out as I patted her head. This girl and I, I feel like we will be good friends. ------------ Sorry about the long ass delay. I plan to bring another chapter out today as an apology. Just got a brand new game for my xbox one so I''ve been no life-ing recently :D The kingdom and the crown prince I¡¯m sorry! I couldn¡¯t post a chapter yesterday. So instead, I made this chapter extremely long. Anyways, Beast didn¡¯t play too big of a role this chapter. Btw, the game I got was Evolve for xbox 1 :D Anyways, enjoy Wait! Before I forget, thank you all for the random 7k or higher views I got on my third chapter. It was quite funny to see my average views go from 500 to 2300 -------------------- Two years have passed since I made Zayan murder her brother. We have been living inside the dragons cave, killing monsters that were no longer repressed by the hunger of the ice dragon. A couple things have happened since then. I¡¯ll list them in order to make it easier for you. First, Zayan has grown extremely attached to me. Second, my magic has come back. It took a full year to return, but when it did my mana pool had increased by a lot. Although since It increased it is also much harder to control. The magic feels foreign. Third, I was indeed correct that the elf girl was in fact an elf girl. One day I had killed a yeti and noticed that she was in desperate need of clothes, I decided to roughly make some pants, using my thick fur as the string. I had only made pants, thus creating an embarrassing moment for the elf when she tried to explain to me that she needed a shirt. Of course, for my own shits and giggles I acted like a fool and acted like I didn¡¯t understand. Fourth, I have learned elvish as well as the human language, though only roughly on the human part. I don¡¯t like speaking and tend to communicate with just hand gestures due to the fact that elvish feels too¡. graceful on my tongue. Fifth, The little elf has grown. She is now a pre-teen elf that tends to be extreme playful with me. For example, I was sleeping one day and she put some cooked meat on a hook-by the way, she is an amazing cook- and threw it near me. Instantly I awoke, the delicious smell wafting into my nose. I got up then stretched my arm out for it. RIght when I got near it, it hopped backwards, causing me to walk forward and try again. Once again, the same thing happened. Angered, I smashed the ground but she had prepared for that. It yanked itself towards the wall again. I spent about five minutes chasing it before I finally figured out I was being fooled. I froze the meat and the line with it then yanked Zayan out of her hiding spot as she clutched her stomach in laughter. But I was not without revenge! Once, she was bathing in a ice water stream- Trust me, even I found it weird- by the base of the mountain when I sent a stampede of boar down towards the spring. She was then chased around naked by some horny boars, causing me to die with laughter. She didn¡¯t talk to me for a week after that. Last but not least, I have ¡°Experimented¡± with my ¡°Ability¡± as I call it. I had found another massive rhino with two horns that also had the ability to superheat its horns. After killing it and cooking it¡¯s meat, I once again experienced the same extremely painful process. When it was finally over, I had the ability to superheat my claws. It seems like I can take monsters abilities when I kill and cook them. But for some weird reason it only works with creatures of the ice. A rock bird in the form of a woodpecker had the ability to harden it¡¯s skin. When I killed it, I didn¡¯t gain the ability to harden myself. I was a little disappointed, but it didn¡¯t matter to me. After all, my skin and body was already extremely tough. Oh, I should mention that my name is now Qor Hayvon, which is Ice-beast in elvish. Call me Hayvon for short. Also, Zayan has gotten into the habit of calling me ¡°Daddy¡± I have never had any kids due to mountain climbing being a free lifestyle so it was¡ different when I was called that. After two years of training and working out, I have grown to sixteen and a Half feet tall. I doubt I will get any taller, but who knows? Right now, I was currently swinging from tree to tree with Zayan on my back, shouting encouragement as I rushed through them at a breakneck pace. We were currently heading down the mountain to buy some spices and vegetables. Zayan wanted to add some ¡°Pizzazz¡± to her food. I was against it since I hated vegetables. But once she told me that we would be going to a human village, my curiosity piqued. Ever since I have been reincarnated I have not yet gathered up the courage to go to a human village. It was more of a ¡°I¡¯m no longer human and I need to accept that fact¡± instead of an ¡°I¡¯m scared¡± kind of thing, ya know? Anyways, Zayan had a large pile of gold inside a mammoth skin backpack I made for her. I tried to convince her that just a few pieces of gold would be enough for what she intended but she adamantly refused to bring no less than a hundred gold coins. What can I say, I spoil my daughter. She had the glass sword strapped to her back, it¡¯s thin blade creating almost no friction as it flew through the air. ¡°Daddy, are we almost there yet¡± she asked I stopped abruptly against the nearest tree, causing her to ¡®Umph¡¯ against my back. ¡°I thought you knew where we are going¡± I asked, anger creeping into my voice. ¡°Well, I know we are in the right direction, just not the exact coordinates¡± I knew it. We should have brought Hank with us. ¡°Fat bastard¡¯s been getting pretty lazy¡± I thought. I continued my travel, jumping through tree¡¯s and walking across snow. Normally this would be extremely boring, but with Zayan here and her talkative pre-teen mouth it never seemed like it. About four days of travelling had us arriving at a large kingdom with pretty tall walls surrounding it. ¡°I thought you said village?¡± I asked ¡°Well, I knew that it was a place where people were gathered, just didn¡¯t know what it was¡± Zayan said sheepishly. ¡°Well then dad, off I go!¡± Zayan announced as she jumped off my back. I would never admit it, but I was worried for her. Even though she was a strong bowman?-girl- and swordsman??-girl- she had a tendency to help everything she saw in sight. Thus letting her be easily tricked. For example, while I was exploring the other side of the mountain we ran into an armadillo type creature with a spiked tail that acted as if it was wounded. But when Zayan ran towards it, multiple other armadillo¡¯s rushed out and nearly clubbed her to death before I managed to beat them off-If you laugh at this, I shall kill you-. ---------------------- Zayan¡¯s Pov Life has been great with dad. Seriously, it¡¯s been great. He has taught me many things that I have never even heard of! He taught me something called ¡°Krav Maga¡± and ¡°Silat¡±. Dad said he didn¡¯t know anything about swordsmanship since he didn¡¯t use one, but I didn¡¯t care. I was happy enough just to be in his presence. I had changed after killing my brother. I wasn¡¯t quite the same. Even I could recognize this. This joyful little world that I lived in no longer seemed...joyful. Or I could say I matured. Anyways, I rounded the kingdom , looking for the gate. When I found it, I pulled my hood over my head and walked forward. I was curious on how the humans would react to a mix blood elf in their town, but I had no desire to find out myself. ¡°Halt traveler!¡± Said a burly guard at the top of the wall. I stopped, wondering what he wanted. ¡°For what reason are you here for? And where do you come from?¡± ¡°I am part of a nomadic tribe living in the mountains. I just wish to stock up on supplies.¡± I lied easily ¡°And the contents of the bag?¡± ¡°Some skins that I need to sell for cash¡± I responded ¡°....Fine, you may pass. But no funny business or you will be thrown out!¡± He threatened. I walked through the wooden gates, and instantly hundreds of smells hit me like a cannon I staggered backwards into the gate, my nose threatening to blow. I calmed myself down, taking deep breaths. I walked around the kingdom, seeing the taverns and family¡¯s as I walked down the center road. I wasn¡¯t here to linger, so I went into a tavern to ask for directions. Behind the bar was a small but well muscled man pouring drinks into a cup. There was a small line for food, so I was forced to wait. When it was my turn I asked ¡°Excuse me, where are the shops that sell spices and clothes?¡± I asked politely ¡°Just head to the center plaza and you will find them around¡± he gruffly replied. So much for asking nicely I explored the center plaza, walking around and tasting various foods and such. I turned to my left and happened to see a tailoring store. I ran over there, desiring to some clothes that weren¡¯t made of fur. When I opened the door, a luxurious entrance awaited me. I scanned my surroundings, checking out the fur coats and other supplies that were in store. Suddenly, a woman walked out from behind a corner and said ¡°Do you have the wrong shop?¡± In a disgusted voice. I realized she was staring at my clothing. I look down and I could see why. I had white hair all over me, compliments of Havyon shedding while I was on his back. ¡°No, I do not. I am here to buy some clothing¡± I said as I walked past her. I saw beautiful dresses and pant¡¯s with intricate designs. I spent my time around the store, the whole while the old human woman was glaring at me, as if my mere presence soiled the clothes. Finally, after selecting four pairs of pants with rose designs and others with a matching pair of shirts with a few sweatshirts I was finished. I walked up to the counter, putting my clothes on the counter as I did so. ¡°That will be 18 gold coins¡± She said in a stingy voice ¡°Ripping off much?¡± I asked. The currency was 100 bronze is a silver and so on until you reach platinum, which is the highest currency used. ¡°These are top quality clothes. If you aren¡¯t willing to pay top price, then get out!¡± she yelled I opened my bag and drew out 18 gold coins, much to her shock. I could tell she thought I wasn¡¯t going to pay for them. I grabbed the clothes and walked out of the store, not even giving her time to catch her bearings. I could understand why she was flabbergasted though. The only kind of people that carried money like that around were nobles. After all, who else would so brazenly pull out gold coins. I made it about as far as 15 feet when I heard a voice yell ¡°Stop, thief!¡± I turned around, intending to help whoever was being robbed. But to my shock it was the old lady from the store, and she was pointing at me. I barely managed to get out ¡®Excuse me¡¯ before I dodged a tackle from my side. I turned to see a small man with greedy eyes looking at me possessively. ¡°You liar! I bought these fair and square for 18 gold¡± I shouted. This caused people to hesitate. After all, if she really was lying then they would be in more than a little trouble for attacking an innocent citizen. ¡°How dare you! You steal my money, then my dresses then have the gall to proclaim that you paid for the? You should be hanged!¡± she yelled back, her voice shrill and old. That was the finishing touch. People began to charge at me. Most likely, the mention of gold filled their minds with greed. I had no desire to kill any humans, but I was surrounded.I raised a dagger I had made from a sabertooth tigers tooth. Some people stopped running at me, but others drew their swords and advanced. Just when I was about to enhance myself with mana, a loud voice rang in the yard. ¡°Quiet!¡± It shouted in a massive voice. Even I was forced to cover my ears, the sounding resounding inside my sensitive hearing. I turned to look at who spoke. What I saw was a beautifully dressed teenager with golden hair and beautiful blue eyes. Although I say teenager, he looked no older than 11 though he was tall. At least 5¡¯6. Compared to me who is 5¡¯3 despite being an elf, I felt a little embarrassed. I quickly wiped that thought away. I wanted nothing to do with people ever again, only wishing to live with my father until I die. ¡°Why do you lie, old lady?¡± He asked, his beautiful voice no longer loud. ¡°Who are you to call me a liar boy?¡± she said snappily. Just then, a loud voice shouted ¡°Crown prince Azam! Why did you run away from us¡± Everyone was shocked. The crown prince of the Romunst empire here? Impossible! But sure enough, a large man with brown hair and eyes inside of a suit of armor stopped by the man they called crown prince. Beside the man was a small woman with pink hair and green eyes, making a sharp yet beautiful contrast on her pale skin. Both of them had beautiful features, the big man had a chiseled face and the woman had her own natural grace, though they were outshined by the crown prince. He had beautiful features, so beautiful that some would say feminine, though he somehow kept the masculinity of his gender. Everyone simultaneously turned to look at the old woman who dared to be rude to the crown prince. She had an extremely scared expression on her face. With just one word from this man, her whole family and descendants could be wiped from the face of this planet. In spite of this, I chuckled ¡°Serves her right¡± I thought. ¡°I was inside the shop at the time looking to buy clothes for my little sisters birthday. I saw her come inside and left when she had pulled out her money. Do you dare still call me a liar, girl?¡± He said, emphasizing the last part of the sentence. ¡°My apologies my lord! I was just hoping to make some money! My shop hasn¡¯t been doing as well lately so I wanted to earn some extra cash! Please forgive me my lord!¡± She begged, bending down as far as she can. I could understand why she wanted to earn some extra money. After all, who would come to the freezing cold north? No typical prince or princess would want to come down here, even if she made quality clothes. I decided to give her face. ¡°It¡¯s fine! Times are tough and if I was in her situation I may have done the same thing¡± I said while smiling. The prince stared at me, his eyes never leaving mine. The tension was thick in the air, his eyes boring into mine. But compared to daddy, this was nothing. Finally the prince said ¡°Yes, I suppose with situations in the north it would make life harder¡± Instantly everyone exhaled. I stood up and turned around, glad to be done with this farce. But before I could leave the prince said ¡°Wait...thief. Would you mind having dinner with me?¡± Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator. ¡°Crown prince no! Not with a filthy thief!¡± the woman objected. The crown prince turned and stared at the other bodyguard. ¡°And you Nathan? What do you think about me dining with a thief¡± ¡°I don¡¯t like it. But I already know you won¡¯t listen to me so I have nothing to say¡± he replied. ¡°Good. Then it¡¯s settled. Lets go eat dinner¡± Prince Azam said. This punk ass prince expects me to just leave with him? Ha! In his dreams ¡°First off, quit calling me a thief. I am not a thief, nor is it my name. My name is Zayan. Also, I have no intention of dining with you. Goodbye!¡± I said then walked away. I wondered how he knew I was a girl or if he was into that kind of thing, but then I looked down. My body has been growing recently, and the two small mounds protruding from my chest kind of gave my gender away. ¡°Wait up!¡± I heard. I turned around to see the crown prince chasing after me. I inadvertently noticed the way his muscular body moved in perfect synch with his legs, making a perfect runner''s stride. ¡°What do you want?¡± I asked irritably. For some reason, he annoyed me. ¡°I told you, I want dinner.¡± ¡°Where are your guards at?¡± ¡°I ditched them¡± he said with a smile. ¡°Sorry, but you''re like 14 years old. I¡¯m 10. Get younger, then we will speak¡± I said then turned around ¡°Naaah. I¡¯m 11¡± he said. No way! He looks like a teenager. He¡¯s only a year older than me. If it¡¯s only a year, then it would be fine. ¡°Fine! But first, I have to go pick up some spices¡± I said. ¡°Alrighty then, I¡¯m all aboard¡± he replied. ¡°Who said I was bringing you?¡± ¡°I did¡± he replied in a cocky manner. I smiled. ¡°No damnit, don''t smile!¡± I shouted in my head We walked around the town, looking at various shops and market places as we searched for a spice shop. After I found the spice shop, I still had one last place I wanted to look for. ¡°Do you know where a music shop is?¡± I asked. I wanted to get a new flute. I still used my brothers old one but I had desperately wanted to get a new one. I didn''t know how to make one and every time I tried the sound was funny. ¡°Yea, follow me¡± he said then began to walk towards the south. During the walk I asked ¡°So, whats the crown prince doing out here?¡± I was curious as to why such high ranking nobility would be out here ¡°Hmm¡ hard to say. I like the snow and the peace and quiet compared to the large empire that I live in. It¡¯s all noise and work over there, so I¡¯m currently on my school¡¯s winter break¡± he replied. ¡°Let me guess. You go to Ailr institute?¡± ¡°Yep! Top of my class in multiple subjects¡± He replied with a smug smile. ¡°That smile really suits him¡± I thought. No! Don¡¯t think of him like that. He¡¯s a noble, it wouldn¡¯t work out anyway. The Ailr institute. The top magic academy in the entire empire and beyond, hundreds of famous mages enrolled there. It also serves as a basic school for students ages 12 and below. How do I know this? Story time from when I was in the orphanage. They would talk about the whole world during story time. ¡°hooh~ you must be pretty strong then¡± I said teasingly. He just smiled and said ¡°Yep! I plan to be the strongest in the world. For that, I train constantly¡± Looking at his body, I could believe it. No way that belonged to a 10 year old. ¡°Well, here we are!¡± he exclaimed. I looked up and saw the large sign which said ¡°Sam¡¯s music shop!¡± Rather plain. I walked inside with the prince in tow. I gasped. Beautiful instruments lined the walls and cased shelves. ¡°Hello there¡± a man with sandy blonde hair said.¡±What are you looking to buy?¡± ¡°Hello. I¡¯m looking to buy the best flute you have¡± I replied in a confident voice. He frowned a bit then said ¡°Alright. And for the young man here?¡± ¡°Nothing. I¡¯m with her¡± Azam replied. The clerk walked into the back of the store. A few minutes later he came out with a beautiful black and gold flute with a intricate designs lacing the body. ¡°This is our best flute¡± he said. Indeed it was beautiful, but it didn¡¯t feel¡ right. Like it wasn¡¯t for me. ¡°I¡¯m sorry. This isn¡¯t what I¡¯m looking for. May I browse the store?¡± He looked slightly surprised, but quickly said ¡°Of course¡± I walked around browsing through the store. The instruments were truly beautiful. Mahogany violins and Maple lyre¡¯s showed that this was no ordinary store. But despite all this, none of it appealed to me. Suddenly, a black flute caught the corner of my eye as I was walking. I ran over towards it. It was a simple piece of black wood with a holes at the top for fingers. It had the designs of tusk¡¯s on the side of it, like a wooly mammoths. I picked it up and it felt¡ perfect. I smiled then brought it up to the counter. ¡°How much for this?¡± ¡°Hmm¡ you have a good eye. This is an exceedingly rare collection item. It was made by an elven woodsmith. Most people usually skip past it because of the simple pattern on it. Since you are one of the first people to find it¡ 75 gold¡± ¡°WHAT!¡± Azam exclaimed. My reaction was much simpler. I grabbed my bag, pulled out the spices then dumped the contents on the counter. I took back seven coins and waited for him to finish counting. ¡°Come on. That is a rip off. You can not expect someone to pay 75 gold coins for a stupid piece of wood!¡± Azam exclaimed. ¡°Get out!¡± The clerk and I said at the same time. Apparently, both of us hated people who thought of instruments as mere wood. The crown prince just stared at us in shock then dejectedly left the room. After thanking the man for my purchase, I walked outside the shop to see the prince standing by the side in a bad mood. I simply walked past him, not bothering to stop when he said ¡°Wait up!¡± ¡°Look you have to admit. 75 gold coins for a piece of wood? It¡¯s stupid.¡± That¡¯s it. ¡°I thank you for your company prince, but I will be returning home now¡± I said as I walked towards the gate. ¡°Okay okay okay okay okay. I apologize for calling your wood stupid. Now lets go eat dinner¡± he said in an uncaring attitude. ¡°Thanks but no thanks, I am not--¡± Before I could finish my stomach let out a loud growl. I blushed as he smiled his arrogant smile. We walked to a place called the ¡°Ducks Diner¡± and asked for a table. Apparently, the prince has been here more than once as the man behind the bar started talking to him as if they were old friends. I stood there awkwardly. Suddenly, the door opened behind us. The prince¡¯s two bodyguards came in looking irritated. When they saw the crown prince, their expressions peaked. ¡°WHAT THE HELL! WHY DID YOU DITCH US AGAIN!¡± The female yelled. The burly man just shook his head with a small smile on his face. When they saw me, however, their looks weren¡¯t pleasant. ¡°You''re still running around with this thief?¡± The woman asked. ¡°Kaya. She is not a thief. Her name is Zayan and she is my friend. Drop it¡± Azam said with anger creeping in his voice. The woman named Kaya didn¡¯t look happy, though she accepted the order. I ordered some tasty cooked mammoth meat and some stew. I ripped the meat apart and pushed it in the stew, not bothering to use my utensils. More than one person looked at me funny when I did this. What can I say, I was raised in the wild. ¡°So¡ Zayan was it? Where are you from? Kaya asked ¡°The mountains¡± I replied. As far as I was concerned, I was born there. ¡°The mountains? Then whoever you are with must be pretty strong to be able to live up there.¡± ¡°Yep! He¡¯s the strongest¡± ¡°Hmph¡± Kaya thought. Just some little girl with delusions of her daddy being strong. Probably hasn¡¯t ever fought a magical beast in his life. ¡°What mage rank is he?¡± Kaya asked. ¡°Umm...not sure. But if I were to label it, he would probably be the third rank¡± I said. Daddy doesn¡¯t really use magic, so I don¡¯t know how good he is with it. In front of me, Kaya laughed and giggled, but a dark glance from the prince shut her up immediately. I didn¡¯t care though. I knew that my daddy could kill anyone! ¡°Hmm¡ what about your mother? Is she a strong mage?¡± Kaya asked. ¡°I don¡¯t have a mother¡± I replied, my tone of voice instantly touring the atmosphere dark.¡±But it¡¯s okay¡± I replied cheerily ¡°My father is more than enough¡± Beside the prince, the buff bodyguard named Nathan let out a small sigh. ¡°Could we meet your father?¡± He asked. ¡°Umm¡ I don¡¯t think that would be such a good idea¡± I said. I didn¡¯t know if father wanted to reveal himself to other people. Moreover, I really didn¡¯t want others to meet him. I wanted him all to myself. ¡°Why not? I would love to meet a man who has the strength to live in the mountains with his daughter¡± Nathan replied. ¡°Actually, I too am interested in this man¡± Azam said. ¡°Well¡¡± ¡°Please? We just wish to meet him and exchange a few words is all¡± Kaya said. ¡°I...I guess¡± ¡°Fathers going to be mad at me¡± I thought. [ Peer pressure at it¡¯s finest :¡¯D ] ----------------------------- Hayvon¡¯s pov ¡°Where is she!?¡± I thought. It has been seven hours since she went inside the kingdom. At first, I was worried that she was captured by slavers, if they were in this world. But after thinking about how skilled she was in the martial art¡¯s I taught her, I doubt there would be a fight without a minor commotion, in which more than a few people would look to see. I waited for another twenty minutes before I picked up her scent. She had a bunch of different smells on her, but it was definitely her. But behind her¡ were three other people. A few moments later she used our meeting call to signal it was her and she was alright. ¡°HANKS A LAZY BASTARD¡± She shouted. Ahh, if only he could hear this now. I was up in the treeling so we wouldn¡¯t be able to see me. I stared at her to make sure she was alright, then looked at her three companions. One was a beautiful pink haired girl, while the other was a bear of a man with a giant longsword strapped to his back. In the middle of these two was a young teen with golden hair and blue eyes. Even as a man, I could say he was extremely good looking, almost feminish. I could instantly tell that this was someone important. I wasn¡¯t sure if I wanted them to see me or not. I really didn¡¯t care if people knew I was alive however, I didn¡¯t want adventureres and hunters trying to kill me after they hear news of an unidentified magical beast who may or may not be the last of it¡¯s kind. About that. For the last two years I had been desperately searching for one of my own. I was lonely not being able to see one of my own. I was curious as to what I was and how I reincarnated. Though I doubt they could answer the last one. ¡°DADDY! I PROMISE, THEY WON''T TRY TO HURT YOU THOUGH I DOUBT THEY COULD!¡± Zayan shouted. This made me laugh. They looked at Zayan if she was crazy. I could tell that both of the two bodyguards were powerful, though they weren¡¯t on my level. The buff swordsman definitely relied on power, and in that regard unless I lost all my limbs permanently there was no way he could beat me in it. I was pretty sure that the female was a mage, though I couldn¡¯t be positive. She had the smell of mana around her, but that doesn¡¯t mean she is one. I had learned that I could smell mana with my nose after I killed the dragon. Actually, after I killed the dragon nearly all my sense¡¯s increased. ¡°DADDY---¡± Before she could finish I dropped to the ground, letting my near 17 foot 2000 pounds of muscle stature smash against the ground, cracking it. I had gained a lot of weight after I ate the dragon, as if I absorbed it¡¯s weight. The second I landed, all weapons were drawn. The female-I had guessed right- summoned lightning and fire in her hands. The buff swordsman drew it¡¯s sword and pushed the golden haired boy backwards, who was watching with wide eyes and a trembling body. ¡°DADDY!¡± Zayan shouted, jumping into my chest. I caught her without looking. She had done it so many times it was almost reflexive. She crawled up my body and onto my neck. During this process, I noted that her hood fell off, causing elicit gasps from the people in front. ¡°Oh?¡± I thought ¡°They didn¡¯t know she was an elf. ¡°Still want to laugh at my daddy Kaya?¡± Zayan said from above me ----------- Crown Prince Azam¡¯s Pov I had stopped a fake charge of thievery, hung out with the thief, bought her lunch and went to a music shop with her. During that time, even if someone had told me this was going to happen, I wouldn¡¯t have believed it. No, more like I would kill the person who tried to tell me this. Standing in front of me was a massive creature. That was the only way to describe it. It seemed to be at least 20 feet tall and probably weighed thousands of pounds. The moment it¡¯s golden eyes fell on me, terror like I have never experienced fell upon me. I wanted to scream in fear. Only through sheer willpower and pride as the emperor¡¯s son was I able to stop myself from doing so. Suddenly I was shoved backwards, just barely managed to stop myself from falling. My linen shirt and pants had mud and snow on them, but I barely noticed. I looked at my two faithful bodyguards who have been with me since I was born. Nathan, the silent yet father like master swordsman who taught me all I knew about swords. Kaya, the 14th ranked mage who is overly protective of me. (Mage ranks go from 1-20. 1-5 you are considered an apprentice. 5-10 you are considered a mage. 10-15 you are considered a master. 15-20 you are considered a magus imperius, or top ranked. Though these are just numbers the mage guild uses to judge you by, not your skill level) But in this monster¡¯s wake, even they were trembling. Suddenly, Zayan ran towards the beast yelling ¡°Daddy!¡± How is this a dad? This is a magical beast! She climbed up on top of the beast, causing her hood to fall down. I gasped in shock. An elf! I knew she had brown skin, but the white hair and the elf ears had totally avoided me. ¡°I was flirting with an elf!¡± I thought ¡°Still want to laugh at my daddy Kaya¡± Zayan said from the top of the beast. Scared? Hi guys! It¡¯s me again :D Hope you enjoy this chapter. Sorry for the short length, got this indescribable urge to right another fanfic. Don¡¯t worry, I will still write this story, but the chapters won''t come as fast, they will just be longer. --------------------- Kaya¡¯s Pov My name is Kaya Malark. I am what people consider a genius mage. When I was 14 years old I reached the 10 mage rank, something that was considered nearly impossible. As the years went on and on I eventually gained enough fame and power that at the age of 19 years old I was called by Emperor Galacius himself to become a bodyguard for his son. I instantly agreed, hoping to gain more money and power by working with him. Naturally, as the years passed we bonded with each other more and more. I will admit, the prince is more than a little spoiled. He acts as if he is free and easygoing, but in reality he is manipulative and vindictive. Not that I mind. It suits my personality just fine. I knew that he liked to play with girls. Being someone that also likes to ¡°Have fun¡± I joined in on his game, treating girls like they were less than they really were while he played the good guy and protected them. It was a fun game between us, and I really enjoyed it. One day, the prince contacted us via ¡®Thought Stone¡¯ and told us that he had spotted a particularly beautiful girl by the front gate. He told us that he had spotted her in a tavern and she asked where spice and clothes shops were. After a little deliberation and some threatening we managed to convince the old hag at the clothes store to call the woman a thief, and spread how she stole from her shop. The prince would then come in like a valiant savior, addressing to the crowd how she wasn¡¯t a thief. When I got a look at her face, even I have to admit that she was truly beautiful. Chocolate brown skin with deep brown eyes that I could stare into forever. I decided I would play with her after the prince was done. After all of this we finally got her to eat dinner with the prince. She told us how she lived in the mountains and that her father was ¡°Super Strong¡± yet he was only a rank three mage. Pathetic. I was already at rank five when I was born, yet this guy has had at least 20 years or more to get stronger? Weak! I used my thought crystal to tell Nathan and Crown prince Azam that we should meet her father and bully him for fun. They agreed, and I could see by the expressions on their faces that they were holding their laughter inside. We were currently following the little brat to find her father. We had walked for nearly 30 minutes when she yelled ¡°HANKS A LAZY BASTARD¡± Hah? Her fathers name is Hank? How lame! I almost giggled when she said this. I had already guessed that there would be a code when arriving at the meeting spot. After all, nomads were mysterious people who loved secrecy. ¡°DADDY! I PROMISE, THEY WON''T TRY TO HURT YOU THOUGH I DOUBT THEY COULD!¡± The girl yelled. Hahahahaha! I couldn¡¯t hold in a laugh this time, but luckily I managed to pass it off as a cough. ¡°Where is this guy?¡± I thought. Right when I was about to suggest leaving, a terrifying- no, that wouldn¡¯t be the right word to describe it. Hell, I can¡¯t even think of a word to describe it. Massive would be one. He made Ice trolls look tiny. Pure white wooly fur with black skin and sharp nails. But the scariest thing about it was it¡¯s eyes. Golden eye¡¯s that seemed to not belong to this world, as if he were from somewhere else. The second the beast landed I activated my magic, fire in one hand while I had lightning in the other. I couldn¡¯t stop shaking I was so scared. The beast haven¡¯t even moved and I had already felt an instinctive desire to run and never come back. To my utter shock the girl named Zayan yelled ¡°Daddy!¡± And then ran up to it. I thought that she would be crushed like a bug, but instead she jumped onto its chest and then climbed to the top of it¡¯s head, sitting there like they were father and daughter. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Nathan push Azam backwards. I looked at both of them. Even Nathan, an extremely experienced war veteran was shaking in his boots, though he didn¡¯t show it as much as I did. Or Azam for that matter. Poor prince looked like he was about to shit himself. Though, not that I blamed him. I already let a little loose when the beast landed ¡°Still want to laugh at my daddy Kaya¡± Zayan said from atop of the monsters head. If it¡¯s the last thing I do, I will kill this bitch. ---------------- Hayvon¡¯s Pov I wondered what I was going to do with them. Poor blondie in the back could barely stand up, while the faint smell of piss lingered around the mage. I amplified my voice with magic and said ¡°Scared?¡± This single word had the funnies effects. The blonde kid in the back simply fell on the spot and passed out. The swordsman dropped his weapon to the ground, though still kept his hands on his hilt. Terror could be seen in his eyes, though he was trying not to let it show. The mage however was the funniest. She screamed extremely loud then threw out her hands. A weak wave of pure magic attacked me. Without even trying I simply batted it away, causing the tree next to me to smashed. She had a look of pure fear when I did that. She fell to her knee¡¯s, and the scent of piss became infinitely stronger. The snow around her turned yellow and it seems as if she couldn¡¯t move her legs. I could understand their fear. Magical beast''s, no matter how intelligent weren''t supposed to be able to talk. A few races could, developing their own language with basic sounds, much like the troll language which is too complicated to explain. Therefore, seeing a massive magical beast that can talk... well, you get the idea. Reading on this site? This novel is published elsewhere. Support the author by seeking out the original. I had no intentions of killing them, only wanted to scare them a little. I don¡¯t know if he thought he could beat me, or if he was too scared to think straight. All of the sudden I heard the swordsman yell and then started to charge at me, his broadsword raised above his head. I just smiled and with one casual sweep of my arm I hit the sword, causing it to be jerked from his hands and dropped on the ground. ¡°Leave¡± I said in a cold voice. I turned around and began walking up the hill, waiting to get shot in the back by a lightning bolt or the warrior to come and charge me. Unfortunately, they didn¡¯t. Two days had passed since Zayan¡¯s friends had been scared shitless. I was slightly worried when Zayan told me that he was an emperor¡¯s son and the crown prince no less, but I really didn¡¯t care. This mountain range has been chock full of magical beast¡¯s since the dragon stopped eating all the strongest predators. If they wanted to come and get revenge, they would have a hell of fight. I was walking up a hill with Zayan on my back, telling me stories she had heard in the orphanage when suddenly I froze. I sniffed the air, a familiar scent going through my nose. I turned my head to the east and took a large breath of air. Ice trolls! I hadn¡¯t seen any ice trolls since I killed one for it¡¯s cave. They were a surprisingly secretive race that lived deep within the mountains. ¡°Zayan. We are taking a detour. There might be someone I know¡± I said. I turned to the east and began to jog at a steady pace, gaining speed as my excitement increased. Pretty soon I was running full speed with Zayan screaming in excitement at how fast I was going. I had probably covered 12 football fields in about two minutes. My long legs covered distance like there was no tomorrow. I began to slow down now, the smell of Ice troll and bloody meat intermingling. I could hear shouts in the distance, as well as cheering and booing. ¡°Ice troll wrestling¡± I thought. During the time I had lived with mother, she had taught us almost everything she knew about Ice trolls and their culture. Troll wrestling was a popular sport in their society, and you could even increase your standing with the tribe if you won the match. The blizzard in front of me finally stopped and what I saw shocked me. Hundreds of Ice trolls were lined up around a single fight. Two trolls were decking it about with giant tree¡¯s in their hand, imitating a rough impersonation of swordplay. One of the trolls was smashed on the side of his head, falling to the ground like deadweight. ¡°What a boring fight¡± I thought. But to my surprise the troll stood back of a few seconds later and smashed the other troll in the stomach with his tree branch. The fight continued like this, one knocking the other out then retaliating. Sometimes they would get into a fist fight, bashing each other until the other got off. About 30 minutes later I heard ¡°Stop! I give¡± from the middle of the arena. I had already deduced that since they were near immortal, it would go until one of them didn¡¯t have the will to fight anymore. While I was peering at the fight, Zayan was resting on top of my head as if it were the most natural position in the world. Well, for her it was. ¡°Are you scared?¡± I asked. ¡°No.¡± She responded ¡°Why not?¡± ¡°Because I know daddy will protect me!¡± She exclaimed excitedly. That is true. This little half elf has become extremely important to me, and I would do whatever it takes to protect her. ¡°What is that?¡± I heard from behind me. Naturally, since I was in the back of the crowd and the trolls were so focused on the fight, none of them noticed me. But now, It seems that I have been found out. ¡°Who are you?¡± An ice troll asked. More and more of them were coming over here to see what the commotion was. ¡°I am Hayvon¡± I replied in troll language. They seemed shocked that I could speak troll, not that I was surprised. Troll was an exceedingly deep language and difficult to pronounce correctly. ¡°An elf! And a dark one at it!¡± A troll said. Indeed, Zayan was looking around curiously at all the trolls. Naturally, she couldn¡¯t understand what we were saying. ¡°She looks tasty!¡± ¡°We should eat her!¡± ¡°I¡¯ve never had elf before¡± ¡°Me either!¡± Even as they spoke they started advancing towards me, their eyes locked on the prize. The second one of them came near me, with an uppercut containing all my weight behind it I punched a troll in his fat stomach, launching his most likely 3000 pound body straight into the air, at least seven feet up.I raised my leg in the air then shot my foot forward, hitting his face. The result was disasterous. He hadn¡¯t hit the ground when I kicked him, so even more force was applied as a I smashed his face with my foot. This made the other trolls hesitate, seeing me take one of their kind out on under five seconds. Troll may be stupid, but they aren¡¯t that stupid. ¡°WAIT! Cease your actions at once. We will take this man to the general. He is a guest¡± a voice said in the crowd. The trolls parted quickly. The troll that came out was a familiar face. I smiled and walked up to him. ¡°It¡¯s been a while¡¡± Death of a friend Yes, this is a short chapter, but fret not! I plan on releasing as many chapters as I can today since I''m finally free! I apologize for the wait, enjoy! --------------- ¡°JOHN!¡± I shouted. He ran up to me and gave me a big bear hug. My brother John, who was my second favorite. ¡°Big brother, how have you been?¡± I asked while hugging him. I gave him a once-over when before I hugged him. He had grown, looking to be about 14 and a half feet tall. His previously rotund stomach had slimmed down quite a bit, and he even had some visible muscle going. ¡°I have been good¡± he began in troll ¡°And how has my nameless brother been these past few years?¡± He asked ¡°Well, your nameless brother has found a name, which is Qor Hayvon¡± I said with a smile. ¡°And the person who gave me this name is atop my head¡± I said. John looked up, seemingly surprised to see an elf child on my head. ¡°Your babysitting elves now brother?¡± He laughed ¡°Babysitting? No no, you misunderstand this. She is not a job, she is family¡± I say while smiling. Instantly his smile changed into a frown. ¡°Family with an elf? And a dark one to boot.¡± ¡°Is that a problem?¡± I asked, slightly angry. Why does it matter who I make my family? It¡¯s my life ¡°No, not at all. It¡¯s just¡ interesting. After all, elves think we are creatures shunned by nature¡± It was true. It wasn¡¯t uncommon to see and elf personally go out of their way to kill a troll. They believed dark forces created us. All that mumbo jumbo. Not that I cared. If they didn¡¯t fuck with me, I don¡¯t fuck with them. ¡°That is true. However, after looking at Gabriel, you should know that not every beast of the same race has the same thought¡± I said Gabriel. My favorite brother and lifelong friend. From the day I was reborn, we were friends. He worked out everyday with me and grew into an extremely tall and powerful figure. When I last saw him, he was about 17 or so feet tall, so he should be even taller by now! ¡°That is true brother. That monster has gotten extremely strong! He recently killed a Mid-aged Ice dragon!¡± I was shocked at this. Even I have only killed a young child dragon. But given, that was a few years ago. Now, I¡¯m positive I could face a Teen dragon. But that is with my abilities! The only thing Gabe has to rely on is his strength and godlike regeneration. This is definitely an extremely good accomplishment. ¡°Hoho, so brother Gabe has gotten strong? Where is he anyways?¡± ¡°Out recruiting! Brother Gabriel has a plan¡ a massive plan!¡± Replied John in a feverous voice ¡°And that plan is¡?¡± ¡°To build an Empire! He plans to make an empire of Ice trolls in the mountains!!¡± Well, I¡¯m not sure how I should process this. There are some extremely good points toward this, but extreme bad points as well. Since I¡¯m a glass half empty kind of guy, lets think of this first. If this plan actually works, there is no way the other races will stay quiet. Ice trolls are already extremely formidable opponents, and with an army of them¡ it would be a terrifying force of untold power. Now the good points! Ice trolls would become stronger, and possibly become educated. At the same time, they might become smart enough to become a race that doesn¡¯t thrive off of bloodshed! There are limitless possibilities for this, and I truly hope that Gabe¡¯s plan will work. ¡°Wow¡ Gabe is certainly ambitious. Where did he get that thought from anyways?¡± ¡°Not sure. One day, he came out of the tent and said ¡°I am leaving. I plan to make Ice trolls a stronger race, and to do this we need numbers. I will make this clan stronger. Goodbye¡± And then actually just took off and left¡± ¡°I understand. Shit like that happens¡± I said while laughing. John later told me during dinner about how his and Gabe¡¯s life has been, and the struggles he has faced. Apparently, after I left, John Gabe and Jenna looked for a tribe. During this time, they were attacked by what he described as ¡°Bears with long arms and legs¡± that were controlled by a human. They managed to kill them, but Jenna lost her life in the process. Gabe went mad with rage and slaughtered a defenseless human village. Of course, John assisted. After this, they traveled the mountain, going where the wind took them. Eventually, they met a large tribe of travelling Ice trolls. They had initially been friendly with them, but after a few minor disputes the king of the tribe attempted to kick them out. Angered by this, Gabriel killed the king, and ended up becoming the new king. After he became king, he changed the whole tribe, making them workout to become stronger. After this, he went from tribe to tribe with John in tow, helping him as he traveled. He left various trolls who gained his trust throughout the tribes, making sure they become stronger. After that, apparently I just missed him by a week. ¡°That is quite some tale¡± I said while laughing. During this whole time Zayan was sleeping my lap, laying against me as a child. I looked down, seeing the little elf child sleeping like an angel. Various thoughts went through my head as I stared at her. I wondered if she missed being with the elves and others of her kind. I sure know I do. ¡°So, wanna tell me the story?¡± He said, hinting to Zayan. So I did. I explained everything that has happened since I left. Climbing the mountain, finding Hank and then the band of elves camped on the mountain. I told him of the Ice dragon, the power of it¡¯s tail and the lapse of my power when I ate it. I didn¡¯t tell him of my power. I don¡¯t know why, but it just didn¡¯t feel right. I told him of my fight with the elves, how I fought to the death with their extreme power. Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform. Support original creators! ¡°Wow. I thought my tale earned some bragging rights, but yours¡¡± He left the comment go unsaid. I got what he meant though. ------------------ ¡°You really have to leave?¡± John asked. ¡°Yeah, we have been here for three days and Hank is gonna get too fat if he¡¯s gone for too long.¡± I laughed ¡°Then, if Gabe comes back here I will definitely let him know of your visit brother Hayvon¡± ¡°Thank you brother Gabe¡± I said. I gave him one last hug then began my climb up the mountain, Zayan sitting atop my head. ¡°Daddy, how come you never told me you grew up with trolls?¡± ¡°Didn¡¯t I?¡± ¡°Nope. Never mentioned it¡± ¡°Oh. Well, it really wasn¡¯t that fascinating. I spent nearly two years not being able to leave a cave so there really isn¡¯t much to talk about.¡± I responded. ¡°Oh¡ so who is this Gabe person? You said his name a lot¡± Zayan asked. Before you ask, no, she does not know troll. But if you say a word enough naturally someone will be able to guess the meaning. ¡°Gabe.. he is¡ your uncle!¡± I replied. ¡°My uncle!?¡± She shouted. ¡°Well, technically so is John but I prefer Gabe over John¡± I said while laughing. ¡°So if he¡¯s my uncle, then that means were family?¡± She said in a slightly quivering voice. I already thought she would have assumed this ¡°Of course. We will always be family, forever and always.¡± I said. She didn''t respond, only squeezed her little arms around my neck tighter. The trip was quiet as we walked up the side of the mountain, encountering few beasts. When we had reached the cave, I smelled a new smell inside. Instantly I was on alert. ¡°Stay here¡± I told Zayan then walked inside. The scene that was shown before my eyes was something like a horror movie. Hank¡¯s powerful feline body had been completely ripped apart, intestines thrown across the wall and his eyeballs smashed. By his corpse, chewing on one of his legs was a large beast I had never seen before. It had a turtle shell, but had spikes on the back of it. Goat hooves mixed with a large reptilian tail occupied it¡¯s lower half. It¡¯s upper half had a massive lions mane on one side, while the other had goats fur. Oh, and did I mention the two heads that were staring at me with killer eyes. Rage overtook me in an instant as I charged at the beast. My eyes were completely red, but through the haze I could see the beast charging at me. I activated my flaming nails and did a sword thrust with my hand at it¡¯s heart. I felt slick blood flow around my hand it grasped the beasts heart. It roared in pain and without a seconds hesitation I crushed the heart. I expected the fight to be over, so when I turned around only to get blind sided by a massive tail you could imagine my shock. After getting up from the ground I was shocked to see that the wound I had made was completely healed, and seemingly no harm had befallen the creature. I smiled, this was going to be a fun fight. I smashed the beast in the chest, only to get bitten by both heads on my shoulders. I bit back, only to taste poison blood enter my mouth. I spit it in the eyes of the goat, much to it¡¯s anger. Suddenly it¡¯s reptilian tail smashed against my right leg. I went down hard, breaking a few bones in the process. The goat lion hybrid jumped in the air turned on it¡¯s back so that the spiky turtle shell was facing me. I barely managed to roll away before it dropped down, it¡¯s massive weight creating a crater in the ground. Before it could get up I threw all my weight into a powerful stomp to its chest. It bleated-and roared- out blood. It did this weird spinning roll and flipped onto its feet. It let out a blood curdling roar, then charged at me. I charged back and met the beast head on, making this a contest of strength. I shoved with all my strength, but this thing felt like it was a mountain. I could barely move it, yet it was slowly pushing me back. Even when I enhanced my arms I could only match it. I smashed my knee into its stomach then grabbed its arm. Judo flipping it over my body, I promptly smashed its arm against my knee, then stomped on its bleating goat throat. I continued to pummel it for about an hour, never stopping to rest as my fist¡¯s repeatedly smashed both of it¡¯s faces. By the time I finished, it was a massive mess of broken bones and guts lying around the place. I wasn¡¯t sure how I was going to explain this to Zayan when I suddenly remembered :Zayan! I had totally forgotten about her. I turned towards the exit, only to see her crying over Hank¡¯s corpse, his head in her arms. ¡°Hank! Hanks dead daddy!¡± she cried with snot and tears on her face. I walked over and hugged her from behind, holding her while she held Hank. --------------- It was a grim day when we buried Hank. Well what was left of him. We buried him on the very spire of the mountain, making proof of his glory. ¡°This world is cruel¡± I thought as I watched Zayan mope around, not having the energy to do anything. Suddenly, a thought struck me. This will work! Progenitor ¡°Zayan!¡± I shouted ¡°Yes father?¡± She asked, startled ¡°Let¡¯s go buy a new pet!¡± I said smiling. But when I say smiling, all I do is show off my fangs. But Zayan has lived with me long enough to guess the gesture. I could my words had quite an effect on her. ¡°Really!? Can we really daddy!?¡± She asked, eyes sparkling. ¡°Of course we can!¡± I replied ¡°Then¡ can we¡. also move?¡± She asked. I was shocked. I had grown quite fond of this place, and naturally wanted to stay. ¡°Why do you want to move?¡± ¡°This place¡ has too many bad memories. I want to¡ I want to go to the Rocky mountains of the Cratal Empire!¡± ¡°The Cratal Empire? Where is that? And I don¡¯t know¡ for a Creature of the Ice like me to go to a rocky mountain¡¡± ¡°Please daddy! The Cratal Empire is the home of the magical beast trading corp. It has the best magical beast¡¯s there. Pleassssse¡± She whined. ¡°Alright alright¡± I said. ¡°We are heading to the Cratal empire!¡± I said ¡°Yay!!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!¡± She screamed while jumping into my arms. ¡°Yea yea¡ I love you too¡± ------------------------ I grabbed a few things before I left. First, I grabbed the ¡®Space Ring¡¯ that I had found during the week of Hank¡¯s death. Next, I grabbed the Ice sword Akrung and slung it over my back. It was a bit too tall for Zayan to wield properly, but she would get used to it. I then stored all the gold inside the the ring, as well as anything else that was inside the cavern. ¡°Goodbye, Hank. You were a dear friend to us both¡± I bowed. ¡°Goodbye Uncle Hank! I love you! I will miss You!¡± Zayan shouted. We headed to the east (Sorry if I get my directions wrong, I¡¯m really bad at them :P) of the mountain range, following along the side of it. According to Zayan, the Cratal empire was this way. We walked through the snow, the cold swirling around us as the day dawned on. Eventually Zayan got too tired to walk in my tracks, so I placed her on my head and walked on. It was late late night when I decided to stop and make camp. There was nothing around us, only snow, so I decided to make an igloo. Well, attempted to. I made a large amount of snow with a thin top into the shape of a circle with a hole small enough for Zayan to climb through, then woke her up and told her to go inside it. ¡°Sleep in her Zayan, else you will freeze to death¡± I said while pushing her inside. ¡°Ywaaaah¡± she yawned. ¡°Ok daddy, but hold my hand while I sleep okay?¡± she said. ¡°Alright, now hurry and go to bed. I stuck my hand inside the wannabe igloo, causing the entrance to collapse a bit. ¡°Goodnight daddy!¡± ¡°Goodnight sweetheart¡± --------------- I had a weird dream that night. I saw a woman in a beautiful silk dress that completely bared everything, causing a my erection to slip out. I had learned something as a yeti child. My genitals were hidden inside my stomach, and when I needed them they would come out. Seriously, this thing was massive. At least 20 inches long and thicker than two wrist¡¯s put together, I pity the woman who is going to take this thing. I took another look at the woman that caused this monster to appear. The woman was truly beautiful, everything about her was perfect. Her eyes, her nose, her figure and her face. But underneath that I felt something that was¡ feral. Untamed and wild. ¡°Hello, Progenitor¡± She said ¡°Erm, not my name. I am Qor Hayvon¡± I said to her. ¡°Oh, but Progenitor is not a word, only a meaning. You are the Progenitor¡± she said again, smiling. She walked toward me, her small figure swaying in the dark. Wait, it¡¯s dark? I looked around to see pure darkness surrounding me, yet somehow I could see her. Before I noticed she was right in front of me. She put one of her small slender hands on my penis, causing me to growl. She couldn¡¯t even fit her hand around half of it yet somehow when she stroked it I felt unimaginable pleasure. My power is waning, Progenitor. With the humans killing and enslaving the beast race, our population has dwindled to the thousands. And you, you will shoot your seed within me and in return take my power. You will become the Progenitor of the beastmen, repopulating the races and becoming their king.¡± She said in one long breath, still continuing to stroke my cock. She then undressed herself, letting her beautiful body come into view. I tried to reject her words and escape, but I literally couldn¡¯t move. I was forced to watch helplessly as my body laid itself on the floor, my large penis standing straight up. She lowered herself over me, squatting as my cock touched the entrance of her hole. She slowly went down, and impossibly her pussy managed to take my cock, her juices flowing freely as she went down. ¡°Ahhn¡± she moaned as it reached the base. She began to shake her hips, my cock gliding through her warm hole as it repeatedly touched her womb. Every time it did this, she let out a sweet moan that was music to my ears. I was too horny to think properly and notice that the mysterious force that bound me was gone, and I was thrusting my hips with my own violation. I flipped her on her back then began to pound her with all my strength, using my large hands to twist her nipples. It was long before I could tell I wouldn¡¯t be able to hold on. I increased my speed-much to her pleasure- before I let out a loud growl, blasting my two years of pent up seed inside her. She climaxed right when I did, causing unbearable pleasure. I nearly collapsed on top of her when I finished. I haven¡¯t felt this drained since I climbed from the bottom of the grand canyon with an injured person on my back. ¡°S...so.. who are you? I accidentally asked in earth language. I was about to repeat the question in elvish when she said ¡°It is fine, you may talk in your native tongue. As for who I am, you shall know in the future. But know this Progenitor. Know that you have taken my power, your whole world will change. You will bear a fate only the strongest can survive. You will be the man that saves the beastmen from extinction and become their king. This is fate. You cannot escape it.¡± I considered asking how she knew my native tongue, but instead I asked something different. ¡°So¡ exactly what is this power?¡± I asked curiously. ¡°You¡ will be the Progenitor. That should explain itself¡± She said ¡°Progenitor¡ like the Alpha? The thing from which something descent¡¯s from?¡± I asked in a curious voice. ¡°Yes, you will have the ability and abilities of all beastmen, extinct or alive. Not only this, you will be able to transform into them. However, this is not omnipotent. No longer will you be able to use magic, only the abilities that the beast¡¯s possess. Also, as you revive our race your human nature will slowly but surely corrode, leaving you nothing but a crazy yet powerful monster that will kill everything in sight. To say this was a shock was an understatement. Sure, I just gained all this new power, but how great is this power is I have no freedom and in the end I will become a crazy monster that would end up hurting people I love? Rediculous! Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. ¡°I thank you for the sex, but I reject your offer¡± I said in an angry voice. ¡°This was not an offer¡± She said. She then stuck slit her own wrist and walked over to me the blood dripping like a waterfall. She raised her wrist over my mouth and said ¡°Drink¡± Once again that power came over me, causing me to place my lips over her wrist. When I got the first sip, I couldn¡¯t stop. I greedily sucked it down in large liquids, laughing as I felt power flow through my veins. I felt like there wasn¡¯t anything I couldn¡¯t do. ¡°Stop¡± she said. But I didn¡¯t. I continued to suck the blood from her wrist. Suddenly I felt immense pain as something was stabbed through my head. The second she did this, billions upon billions of images overtook my head. Rabbit beastmen being forced as slaves, having their ears cut off in torture as they were raped by fat nobles. Mermaid clans being skinned alive above the water for the foolish humans that thought they could gain immortality. Young children beastmen being raped and forced to watch as the same was done to their parents. Beastmen being cut up and made into expirements so humans could become naturally stronger, while the ones that didn¡¯t work out become horrifying monsters like the one that came and killed Hank. Immense rage overcame me and I let go of her wrist as I screamed in rage and defiance. I would have revenge for the fallen beasts, and I would not let the humans get away unpunished. ---------------------- I awoke with a start, anger coursing through my veins. It was morning and somehow Zayan had ended up atop my stomach curled in a ball. Was that real? No, it must be. I felt raw power coursing through my veins, hiding within the anger. ¡°Zayan, wake up¡± ¡°Mgu¡¡± ¡°Zayan, wake up¡± ¡°mmmm¡± I picked her up and tickled her. I needed cool off, and talking with my daughter was the best way. ¡°Kyaaa!¡± she screamed while laughing. ¡°What was¡ dad!¡± she shouted. She was angry. I, on the other hand, was laughing my ass off. Did you read the way she screamed? Priceless! ¡°Ahah.. oh that was too funny¡± I said while standing up and shaking off, causing snow to be flung off my body. ¡°Anyways, let¡¯s head out.We still have a ways ahead of us¡± I wanted to meet the beastmen of the rocky plains. I hadn¡¯t seen any in the icy mountain range, and I was curious as to why. ¡°Okay, let me grab my flute¡± she said then went back inside the igloo to grab it. ¡°Zayan, how come you never play for me?¡± I asked curiously. Indeed, she has never played for me, but I have spied on her playing it. The first time I heard it I was astounded. I didn¡¯t think it was possible for such a beautiful sound to come out of an instrument that small. And that was two years ago! Imagine how good she sounds now. ¡°I-im not good enough!¡± she said while blushing. ¡°Come on, just one song¡± I laughed ¡°N-N-No! I wanna play for daddy when I am the best!¡± She blushed ¡°Pffft I see how it is¡± I said then abruptly turned and began walk ¡°Da-daddy wait!¡± She yelled. I was deliberately going slow and dragging my feet ¡°Not until you play¡± I said and continued on. ¡°Ok! Ok! OK! I will play!!¡± She shouted. I turned around and smiled. ¡°Good¡± I cleared out a circle in the snow and gave her a spot to sit. She raised the flute to her mouth and began to play. (Not necessary to watch, just something I thought would help. Btw, her music is like 10 times better, so this is just a guesstimate. The second the first note hit my ears I was captured. I stared in shock at the young music god before me. I felt serene and calmed, and I envisioned a beautiful forest, causing my anger to be forgotten, though not gone. When she finished, I began to clap and laugh ¡°You''re amazing!¡± I shouted. It truly was a beautiful performance. Her face went completely red when I said this ¡°T-thank you daddy¡± she said ------------ Time went by as our trip took us farther and farther away from the snow. If I was any guess, I would say about two months or so have gone by. Zayan has been practicing her music even more vigorously, making sounds and songs that are truly amazing. I haven¡¯t been doing much, only working out and fighting the occasional monster that foolishly wishes to attack us. We walked for another four hours before we saw the rocky mountain. It was as big as the Ice mountain, possibly bigger. Grass was sticking through the snow, the green blades standing proud. It was my first time seeing grass in this world, and I admit that I was more than a little anxious to feel it. However, I had to play the fatherly role and not act like an Idiot. Zayan, however, had no such requirements. She screamed ¡°Grass!¡± and began to roll around it. I was tentative to touch it, wondering what the feeling would be. A step later, I found out. The second my left foot touched it, an electric shock went through my body. Instantly I got into a battle position. Zayan, seeing this asked, ¡°What¡¯s wrong daddy?¡± In a weird voice ¡°Aren¡¯t you getting shocked?¡± I asked ¡°Um¡± she rolled around in the grass some more ¡°Nope¡± with a happy look on her face. ¡°Interesting¡± I thought. I took another step, and was once again rewarded with a shock that went through my foot. When I took another step with my right foot, all hell broke loose. ¡°GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH¡± I screamed. Unimaginable pain went through my body as electricity coursed through it. ¡°DAD!¡± Zayan screamed then ran towards me. I put a palm out, telling her not to come closer. I felt the electricity coursing through my veins, changing them into liquids. ¡°Concentrate on any animal Progenitor. You were the last Demi-human in the Icrucian Mountains, so naturally you did not have to experience this. Think of an animal and will yourself to change into it¡± The voice who sounded suspiciously familiar to the girl who gave me this power resounded in my head. So I concentrated. What do you think of when you think of rocky mountains?... A Ram! I pictured a ram in my head, willing my body to change. To my shock I felt something break through my head. My body was growing smaller but sturdier, my muscles and organs shifting. It took five minutes for this process to happen, and the whole time I wholeheartedly willed myself to become the ram. When I awoke... ------- Btw, Due to the course of the plot I have decided to rename this story to Re:Progenitor. I hope you don''t mind, also hope you enjoyed the chapter. I read all of your reviews, but I don''t comment. Thanks for the wonderful likes! Ok, onto the next chapter. The kingdom The first thing I noticed was the horns. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see the sharp little nubs going slightly past my eye, though in no way did they obscure my vision.I pushed myself up, feeling the soft grass on my short fur. My hands were like human hands, only clawed. I had white fur, the same as my¡ yeti form? If that is what you would call it. I stood up slowly, trying to get used to my new body. I fell down face first when I managed to get upright, not use to the feeling of having hooves and differently angled legs. ¡°Dad?¡± Zayan said tentatively. I turned to look at her, her expression full of fear and curiosity. ¡°It¡¯s me¡± I said in a foreign voice ¡°My power is just acting up¡± I lied. I felt like I definitely should not reveal that I met with a girl who I had sex with then drank her blood and got a weird power. Not a convo I want to talk about with a kid. She ran into my arms, leaping as she got near. I still wasn¡¯t used to my hooves, so when I caught her I went down as well, causing her to laugh. That laughter quickly turned into crying ¡°I.. I thought you were gonna die¡± She said in between sniffles. I hugged her closely and stroked her hair. ¡°Your dad won''t die so easily right?¡± I laughed. She snuggled closer and we sat there for a few minutes before I said ¡°Well, Let¡¯s go get you that new pet, okay?¡± ¡°Mmm¡± She said. For about 3 weeks we walked through the grasslands, Zayan playing her flute for my entertainment. During this time, I was getting used to my body and my powers. If you''re wondering, no, I do not feel pain when I switch anymore. I guess it was a one time thing. Who knows? Anyways, I was still in my ram form so I began to do simple exercises to get a feel for this body. After that, I started to do punches and kicks. Basic ones at first, but as I realized how much faster this body is compared to my yeti body. But it is also weaker.than the yeti, much weaker. But if I want speed¡ what about a cheetah? I closed my eyes and pictured a cheetah in demi-human form, then willed myself to change. I could feel myself shrinking a bit and growing slimmer, but even as this happened I could feel the powerful muscles in my arms and legs. ¡°That¡¯s so cool!¡± Zayan said with sparkles in her eyes. I agree, this is pretty cool. But the cost of not being able to use magic¡ thats a pretty rough cost. Still, their physical abilities are more than enough. Oh, and the fact that I would go insane after I united the demi-humans was also a pretty big cost. It didn¡¯t take long to get used to my speed. It felt¡ natural. But man, I was seriously moving fast. I am faster than my yeti form when it is enhanced! Much faster! ¡°Zayan, lets pick up the pace a bit, shall we?¡± I said with a smile. -------- We were flying. No, not literally, but damn we were moving fast. On earth, cheetahs could go 70mph for ten seconds before their intestines overheat. I¡¯m pretty sure I¡¯m going faster than that, and I¡¯ve been running on all fours for about an hour. ¡°ha...haha¡ thats¡ thats my limit Zayan¡± ¡°Ok daddy¡± she says as she hopped off my back. I stood up then concentrated on changing into my yeti form. It was my favorite form, so I naturally just went back to it. It felt great going back into my normal body. I felt¡ complete, as if I was back home after a long vacation. ¡°Daddy, what kind of animal can I buy?¡± ¡°Um¡ well I don¡¯t really know. What kind of animals do they have?¡± ¡°I¡¯m not too sure¡ magical beast¡¯s definitely. Definitely have beastmen slaves¡ um--¡± She was going to continue, but a dark growl from me stopped her in her tracks. ¡°Beastmen slaves?¡± I growled ¡°Y-ye-yeah¡± she said trembling. I transformed back into my cheetah form, motioned for her to get on, then said ¡°Hold on tight¡± I enhanced my legs and arms, something I hadn¡¯t done earlier because I didn¡¯t have good control over my body. But now with rage fueling me, there was nothing to stop me. Landscapes were a blur as I rushed through them, my body going top speed through trees and bushes. It took us about ten more hours with multiple breaks in between, but we finally managed to reach the kingdom. This time Zayan already knew where to go, so there was no guessing if we were lost or not. ¡°Daddy¡ are¡ are you mad at me?¡± She asked voice quivering ¡°Of course not¡ just mad at these humans. Slavery is not something that should be allowed. Remember that¡± I said ¡°So daddy¡ now that we are here, how are you planning on getting me a pet? Enjoying the story? Show your support by reading it on the official site. I paused for a moment. I hadn¡¯t really thought of this. ¡°I guess¡ I¡¯ll just have to go in with force.¡± I thought with a dark smile. I transformed into my yeti form, put Zayan on my shoulders and began to walk. Truthfully, I was hoping for a confrontation. Seeing everything that humans have done to magical beasts¡ just thinking about it made me want to go and kill them all. ¡°Daddy, isn¡¯t this kinda a bad Idea?¡± Probably. But anger and bloodlust was clouding my mind, so I wouldn¡¯t know a bad idea if it slapped me in the face. I didn¡¯t saying, just continued to walk down the road to the gates. ¡°Here goes nothing¡± I thought. When I was in sight of the large wooden doors, a loud bell began to ring. I assumed that was a signal for defense, but I wasn¡¯t positive. Could just be a festival going on, though I doubt it. When I was in talking distance of the giant walls, a powerful voice said ¡°Halt beast, or you shall be killed where you stand¡± Ha? A mere human killing me? The thought almost made me go into an insane laughter. Scum like you can-- Where are these thoughts coming from? These aren¡¯t mine. I shook my head, trying to clear it out. ¡°This here is my tamed beast. I would appreciate it if you would let us through¡± Zayan shouted back. If it was anyone else calling me a beast, I would snap their necks and eat them for dinner. But since it¡¯s my daughter... Men began to appear on the wall, crossbow bolts in hand and aimed at e. ¡°We can not let a beast like that pass. You by yourself, however, is a different matter¡± A bald man said with a lewd grin on his face. In under half a second leapt up, using my giant height to grab the 20 or so foot walls. I snatched the man from were he was standing and before anyone could react, squashed the man in a single squeeze, blood and intestines coming out of my hand. I dropped back down and waited for the shot that would start this fight. Unfortunately, it never came. The guards just sat their, terrified out of their mind at what just happened. Suddenly, an old man with black hair and a streak of gray in it came flying out above the walls, eyes staring at us in anger. ¡°Who. Are. You.¡± he shouted, fireballs in hand. ¡°I am Zayan Malkachite. Daughter of Qor Hayvon, tamer of the legendary frost yeti, and apprentice snow elf.¡± she replied, her small voice straining to carry the same effect. The mages eyebrows went up when he heard snow elf, but he still had a cold look in his eyes. ¡°And what are you doing, killing guards and causing unnecessary trouble?¡± ¡°Well, one of your guards directed a lewd comment at myself. My frost yeti here didn¡¯t like that, so he decided to kill him. Simple as that¡± I smiled when I heard this. I was itching for a fight, and this old man looked pretty powerful. ¡°Ho? And you think that gives you the right to kill them?¡± He asked, the fireball in his hand growing larger. ¡°It does¡± I said, scaring the shit out of everyone in the vicinity. The old man just looked at me with his mouth open, not daring to believe what happened. ¡°You..you can talk!¡± He nearly screamed. ¡°Yes I can, is that a problem?¡± I replied ¡°But only the strongest of magical beast¡¯s can talk!!¡± He shouted ¡°Well then, why don¡¯t you use that old brain of yours and put two and two together, eh?¡± I responded, showing my fangs. His eyes widened at this. I stared at him, never letting him go out of sight. ¡°I see¡ well then. As much as it annoys me to let a beast in here, we have no other option. What is it you want?¡± He said, trying to save face. ¡°A pet. My daughter here wants a pet¡± ¡°Daughter?¡± Oops. ¡°Yes, this is my daddy¡± Zayan said from above. ¡°Well thats more than a little¡ nevermind, I don¡¯t suppose you have money to pay for this do you? No, what would a beast like you would have no reason for money¡± I glared at him for this, then produced about 200 gold with a wave of my hand, neatly stacked in my large left hand. ¡°A spacial ring!!¡± The old man exclaimed. His tone instantly changed from rude to polite to extremely nice. ¡°Right this way old beast. Our town hosts the finest selection of animals¡¡± -------- Short chapter I know, but I passed out while typing so I realized im pretty tired :¡¯D my other fanfic kept me up all night (Prehistoric World) and I didn¡¯t realize how tired I was till I got home from school. Anyways, not much happened in this chapter, but I plan to bring some radical bloodshed next chap. Anyways, hope you enjoyed! Revolution! To say that I was the center of attention would be an understatement. Everywhere I walked I saw people poking their heads out of shops and homes, curious to see what was going on. When they saw me, however, walking in tow with ten guards and the old wizard, their faces turned ashen pale. ¡°Daddy, everyone is looking at us funny¡± Zayan said from behind me. I wouldn¡¯t let her ride on my head, as that would make her too much of a target for the archers that were in hiding. Or so they thought. With my superior beast sense¡¯¡¯s, they could as ell be broadcasting their location to me ¡°It¡¯s nice being a beast¡± I thought I was amazed at the architecture of this kingdom. Aqueducts, A colliseum, bathing houses and more lined the streets as we walked own. ¡°They must draw water from a far away stream¡ if it was close then no doubt it has been poisoned before. ¡°So, let me ask, what kind of animal are you looking for?: The old man said. ¡°..... I¡¯m not sure. It¡¯s all up to my daughter. Whatever she feels the need to buy, we will buy.¡± The old man looked at my daughter with a raised eyebrow. ¡°Um.. Um¡. I.. I want a¡. a magical beast!¡± She shouted after struggling a bit in the human language. ¡°I see¡ any preferences?¡± ¡°N..none right¡ now¡± ¡°Well here we are¡± The old man said. We were in front of a large tent which had magical runes on it. My bet is that they are used to keep sounds and smell of beasts out from the general public. ¡°Put this on¡± He said, pulling out a weird headscarf. ¡°What is it?¡± I asked, not wanting to be tricked. ¡°This isn¡¯t for you, but for the girl. The smell and noise in here¡ isn¡¯t something a young girl should hear. Normally, you can only enter here once you are eighteen years old but since you are with her and are so obstinate about her choosing, this is the least I can do¡± ¡°Take it¡± I told Zayan. She complied instantly, grabbing it from the mans hand and typing it around her head. ¡°I¡¯m ready!¡± she said. When I stepped inside, I nearly barfed. The smell of all these animals going together was terrible. Not to mention, they were making so much noise I was losing my balance. I saw all sorts of different animals. Spiked ones, furry ones, blue ones, but I saw the same thing when I looked at them all. Rage. Rage that great beast¡¯s like these are caged and imprisoned. ¡°Here it is, the Magical Beast Trading corp. of the kingdom of Roglin.¡± The old man announced with a smile. I wanted to kill him then and there. My anger at seeing these fools do this to my kin¡ I started to raise my hand, but suddenly Zayan said ¡°Look daddy! Look at that one!¡± I followed her finger to see a uniquely beautiful creature. It was a bird of sorts. It had four white wings with streaks of black trailing down its body, while it also had a black bleak. It¡¯s talons were pure white, gleaming like crystals even in the darkness. It looked like an african crowned eagle, though much more beautiful and of course, the four wings. I don¡¯t know how but I could tell that-despite it¡¯s relatively large size- it was still a child. I could feel that it would grow to be much, much bigger. ¡°Um miss, I would be overjoyed if you did not buy that one¡± The old man nearly begged, sweat forming on his brow. ¡°And why would that be?¡± I growled ¡°Well you see, prince Azam of the Romunst empire has specifically asked us to bring him this bird¡± ¡°Isn¡¯t he the enemy prince?¡± I asked confused. Zayan had told me everything about the kid, practically drooling when she was talking. ¡°Yes, but this kingdom- despite being in the Cratal empire- deals any animal as long as you can provide the money¡± He said with a pride filled smile. ¡°I see¡. we will take this bird then¡± I stated bluntly. The reaction of this man was beyond comical. His face contorted into shock, then fear, then rage, then back to normal again. All under five seconds ¡°IS there a problem?¡± I asked with a smile. Of course there was. If he rejected me we both knew I was going to kill him. ¡°None at all¡± He said through gritted teeth. ¡°Number Five, Number Nine. Grab that bird and bring him to the register. And DO NOT DROP IT YOU DUMB SLAVES¡± He yelled, letting his rage loose a bit. From behind a curtain two young children came out wearing scared expressions on their faces. What shocked me was the fact that one of them had a tail, while the other had two floppy fox ears down her face. ¡°Where are your beastmen slaves?¡± I asked, the words coming out like ice in my mouth. Obviously, the old man could tell something was wrong but didn¡¯t understand what. ¡°In the back¡± He said ¡°Would you like to purchase one? We have hundreds of them¡± He spoke, pride filling his voice once again. ¡°Lead me to them¡± The interior of the tent was like a circus tent, so I would have assumed we were going to the back. Instead, he opened a large door in the middle of the tent and began to walk down the steps. I had to nearly crawl to get down the stone steps, but luckily the downstairs room was very large, almost a foot or two above my head when I was standing. Horror entered my eyes as I looked around. The room was a square room. A little bit bigger than your above average classroom size. There were hundreds of beastmen slaves crammed into this room. All of them female. I suppose male beastmen don¡¯t pose a good view for other humans. When I entered the room, all the beastmen eyes looked at me. No, they didn¡¯t look at me. Their eyes were so dull they couldn¡¯t even look at me straight. ¡°How long¡± I asked ¡°How long what sir?¡± Old man asked, confused ¡°How long have they been here?¡± Rage made my throat quiver, unable to talk properly. I glanced around the room, seeing female beastmen shivering in corners, the fear piercing the dull look in their eyes. Shit, urine and other things best left un-named coated their bodys. Fox, wolf, cheetah, dog, squirrel and more types of beastwomen stared at me, begging to be freed. I will answer your prayers ¡°Hmm¡ the earliest a week or two maybe? The oldest¡ ten, maybe 15 years?¡± He said pondering. He pondered no more though, as my fist smashed the side of his body into the stone walls on the side. His body was completely crushed between my fist and the wall. I didn¡¯t waste any time as I walked towards the wall of slaves on the left side. They flinched back in fear, but once I began to rip the chains off the walls and free their cuffs they relaxed. ¡°T..than..thank you?¡± An old wolf type beast woman said. I could tell her understanding of the human language was rough but since I didn¡¯t know do-wolf it couldn¡¯t be helped. ¡°I am Ha¡ I am The Progenitor. Wherever I am there shall be no beastmen slaves. I tell you this, spread the word of my name to all corners of the earth. Tell your childrens children. This world will be changed, and beastmen will be free!¡± I shouted. I turned around and turned into a cheetah. I could hear the collective gasps around me but spent no time worrying about it. ¡°Daddy, are you gonna kill a lot of people?¡± Zayan asked. Conscience smacked me in the face as I thought about how to answer. I didn¡¯t want my baby girl to see what I was about to do. ¡°I apologize for asking this, but will someone watch my child?¡± Moments passed before I heard ¡°I will¡± It was a feminine voice. I turned to my right and saw a beautiful and healthy fox woman . She had extremely seductive curves and her light black skin went well with her dark blue eyes. ¡°Daddy?¡± Zayan asked, not understanding ¡°Zayan¡ stay with her until daddy is finished with his job. I will be back shortly. That goes for all of you¡± I told her, stroking her cheek. Before she could say anything I turned and crept up the stairs. The tent didn¡¯t have many people operating it, and if it did most were slacking off. I bounded to the back of the tent, hoping to enact my plan. When I made it, there was one beastwoman sweeping around the neatly arranged cages. I crept up behind her then stealthily placed my hand around her mouth, stopping her from screaming. She struggled a bit, but when she saw that she couldn¡¯t win she gave up, as if she accepted her fate. ¡°Where are the keys?¡± I asked her in a cold voice. She glanced at a guard who was pissing around a cage that held a small orange and brown furry creature. I let go of her mouth and slowly made my way towards the guard. When I was behind him I made my hand into a blade then thrust it into his heart, all the while covering his mouth as to prevent sound coming out. I had to work fast at this part I grabbed the keys and began to unlock every single cage starting from the back. I don¡¯t know how but it seemed as if the animals understood my intentions, not making any noise as I unlocked their cages. When the last cage was unlocked and all the guards inside killed, I began to talk. ¡°Animals, beasts, beastmen. You were imprisoned, made to be slaves for the human scum that used you for menial and dirty tasks. But now, YOU ARE FREE! And outside, outside is a city of nearly defenseless humans waiting to be killed. I give you leave and tell you this, SLAUGHTER! KILL ALL HUMANS!¡± I screamed, my voice gaining passion every second. Beast¡¯s and Beastwomen alike rushed out of the tunt, hundreds of them flocking into the street. I noticed that the white eagle like creature was still locked up, forgotten on the counter. It was sqwaking in its cage, eager to be set free. I grabbed the cage and ripped it apart with brute strength, the key all but forgotten. Like a bolt of lightning the bird flashed through the tent. A few slaves were still downstairs so I walked down there. The fox lady as well as two other cheetah women were down there. Zayan as well, looking scared out of her mind. ¡°Zayan¡ I will come back in a bit for you¡ can you wait for me?¡± I asked nicely ¡°...mse¡?¡± She mumbled ¡°Huh?¡± ¡°Do you promise to come back?¡± She asked teary eyed, body shaking ¡°Daddy never lies to you right? Of course I promise¡± I said with a smile. ¡°Okay¡ but you have to come back soon!¡± She yelled while crying Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. ¡°Of course baby girl¡± ---------- When I exited the tent I saw a scene from the apocalypse itself. Beast¡¯s were raping and killing humans, their sharp claws cutting through skin like hot butter. Anger and excitement raced through my veins. But if my plan was to work properly, I would have to do some things. I ran around in my yeti form, slaughtering any and all humans that are in my reach. I was looking for this kingdoms army. If anything could turn this situation around it would be them. I rushed around the stone ground, searching for any sign of resistance. I looked to my left, seeing the castle that was on higher grounds than the rest of the kingdom, resting on a flat hill. I decided to search over there. Some beast¡¯s began to follow me, realizing that nothing could stop me and that it would be safer with me. I watched in horror and fascination as the true nature of beast¡¯s and what I have just done came to light. Little children, no more than six or seven were getting battered around and used as toys for the beast¡¯s. Men raping women in the last of their minutes. Friends betraying friends for a few more seconds of life. ¡°This is¡. beautiful!¡± I yelled inside my head. This! This is the true nature of humans! Beast¡¯s were born like this and have no reason not to be yet humans are also capable of the same thing while they look down on us! Priceless! ¡°ROOOOOOAR!!!¡± I roared a terrifyingly happy shout, letting my bloodlust unfurl. I decided to try and switch into something new. I concentrated on my image. I felt myself growing larger by a few feet, yet heavier by a few thousand. Layers upon layers of muscle was added to me as my body morphed. Two large trunks emerged from the top of my jawline? becoming hardened weapons. When it was finished, there I was -Beastman- Wooly mammoth style- ¡°KFROOOOOoO!>???¡± I ____ed It felt more than a little weird to have a three foot long nose but it was pretty cool at the same time. I walked slowly towards the castle, killing as many humans as I could in order to get used to my new body. I swung my massive head to the left, destroying a house and killing the residents inside. I used my snout to move rubble around to see if anyone was still alive. I rushed around, using my arms and legs to destroy the larger buildings, while the small and weak ones were demolished by my tusks. I was having a blast letting my rage go rampant. Ten more minutes of destroying everything in sight and I was at the castle. I switched back into yeti form, since it was my favorite form. I enhanced my arms and smashed the two wooden doors with all my strength, causing them to blast apart and send splinters inside. ¡°AAAG!¡± ¡°MY EYE!¡± ¡°Gugrl...gurlgurlg¡¡± ¡°My arms cut off! My arms cut off!¡± Screams and more accompanied the smashed door. ¡°Ready or not, here I come :)¡± I said with dark laughter. 10 swordsmen in heavy armor, One mace wielder and five mages. All spread out. No problem. I rushed towards a swordsman, grabbing his body and using it as a projectile. I flung him at a mage who stupidly used his mana shield to block, causing it to be crashed into sending them both flying against a stone sculpture. Suddenly I was smashed against the wall by countless punches against my side. I looked down and saw the mace wielder with four swordsmen furiously striking my side. They were doing damage faster than I could regenerate. I tried to swat them away but I noticed I couldn¡¯t move. I looked at the mages to see them all having a smug smile on their faces, hands outstretched ¡°GROOOOOAR!!!¡± I let rage envelop me as I fought against the paralysis, using brute force to push magic back. Blood spurted out of the mages mouth when I did this, so I tripled my efforts. Out of nowhere the force suddenly let go, causing my hand to smash against the men who had nearly penetrated my tough muscle. I jumped toward the mages and systematically slaughtered them, transforming into a ram as I did so. The ram had godly kicking strength and it was much easier to deal with the men when they were my size. I rushed the mace wielder; Swinging his mace down it connected perfectly with my horns and head. For any other ram, they would be meat paste. But for a Beastman ram? This was like getting hit with a large rock. Hurtful, but definitely bearable. I smashed through the metal mace and the armor guarding his body, my horns piercing through his soft flesh. Blood covered my fur as I let the body drop to the floor. I looked around, seeing dead corpses and fearful servants. No humans left alive. It was a one sided massacre. I slaughtered everyone and everything I could see, my kicks destroying stone pillars and female bodies alike. Normally I would be repulsed, disgusted with my actions. But for some reason, it felt right. Like¡ the cost of my powers was for this. In return for my powers I would go insane, killing all I held dear to me. Welp, lifes a bitch. Time for the king. Just when I started to get there I heard multiple roars behind me. I walked out of the castle, enjoying the spot that overlooked the whole city. Even now I still saw no resistance, watching with glee as Beast¡¯s roamed the street, killing everything and everyone. Multiple beast¡¯s were heading up the stairs to the castle. Manticore¡¯s, griffins, black wolfs, scaled chickens?, red fur monkeys, blue lions and more were walking up. Despite popular belief beast¡¯s are actually very intelligent and they naturally knew that most likely the biggest house would hold the leader of the city, just like the pack leader chooses his cave. The beast¡¯s stopped in front of me, seeing my yeti fur stained in blood. To my utter shock after a brief staring contest all the beasts lowered their heads, as if unable to meet my eye. I waited a little while longer, then turned around and walked back inside, the beast¡¯s in tow. I walked towards the throne room, letting my body heal it¡¯s injuries in the process. The beast¡¯s crowded around me, barely giving me any room to walk as they themselves squeezed in. When I reached the throne room I slowly pushed open the doors, letting magical beast¡¯s of all sizes flood in. Sitting on the throne surrounded by five men was an old man with a cold look in his eye, defiance evident in his posture. ¡°I can¡¯t believe¡ right when we decided to send our army out against the Astin Kingdom, these dumb animals would rise against us¡ YOU ARE ALL JUST BEAST¡¯S! ALL OF YOU SHOULD JUST DIE OR SERVE ME!¡± He screamed, his voice going raw with each word. I said nothing. My words would be wasted on scum like him. I simply raised my hand and pointed at them. The beast¡¯s did the rest. The guards around the king were obviously elites as they enhanced their whole bodies including their weapons with mana and sliced down all beast¡¯s that came close. Out of the fray and arrow was shot at one of the guards, piercing through his throat. I looked to see a lone Beastwoman riding atop a large scorpion, bow in hand and obviously loving the thrill. I looked around the room, shocked to see beastwomen coming out of rooms, killing humans wherever they may be. When the last guard fell, the only person left was the king who was still giving me that same look. ¡°Daddy!¡± Two voices simultaneously said. I turned to see two young children being held by a bloody beastwoman, her face one of pure ecstasy. A sudden blow hammered me in the heart. ¡°Who was I to take a life? Who was I to kill these kids in front of this man?¡± It was obvious that they weren¡¯t going to survive if I didn¡¯t help. Where did I get off judging myself to be above humans? Isn¡¯t this just going to start another war? More deaths will be had and this will never get resolved. And what about Zayan? How would she think about this? Could I face her again? I was about to reach for the kids when I looked at the beastwoman again. She was an avian type, though just barely. Her feathers were ripped off in a bunch of different places. Scars and markings lined her body, her left eye a gash of flesh that looked like it was burnt. Another thought went through me at that moment. Who were they? Who were they that they believed themselves to be better than beast¡¯s? Why should we suffer because they have more intelligence? What right did they have to abuse this avian woman? Rage clouded my mind as my next action occurred. Before I could stop myself I grabbed the kids from the womans hands, who looked more than a little disappointed that she couldn¡¯t kill them. I picked them up by their heads, eliciting fresh screams of pain. I brought them in front of the king, letting him see the face of his children one last time. Slowly but surely I increased the pressure in my hand, squeezing the heads of the children. ¡°STOP!!! IT HURTS, IT HURTS!¡± They begged, wishing for the pain to end. I could hear their skull cracking when suddenly a loud ¡°CRCKH!¡± was heard. In my hands held the lifeless bodies of two headless human childrens. I looked at the king and saw a dull look on his face. He couldn¡¯t even process thought even more. I gave him a painful death by throwing him into the raging beast¡¯s that were behind me. A sudden thought struck my head as I sat down on the throne in my cheetah form. ¡°KNEEL!¡± I shouted. Without hesitation all beast¡¯s and beastwomen alike turned to look at me, as if I was crazy for commanding them to do this. But then, the scarred avian walked right in front of me then slowly got down on one knee, head lowered. A chain reaction happened after that as all things present lowered their heads towards me, submitting to their king. ¡°This is my destiny. No longer will I hide in the mountains while my brethren are slaughtered like livestock and used like a common whore. We will rebel, we will become strong, AND WE WILL GET REVENGE!¡± I roared, eliciting the cries and screams of approval of every beast in the kingdom, my voice amplified by magic. ---------------------- Sorry for the extremely late chapter!! In my defense, Stellar Transformation, Coiling dragon and Swallowed star are way too enticing! Hope you enjoyed the chapter, don¡¯t forget to comment! Aftermath As the beast¡¯s around me dispersed to go kill some more humans, the adrenaline and rage seeped away and with it the full brunt of what I just did. I could barely make it into another room as my whole breakfast and lunch exited out of stomach, my mouth burning with the strong taste of acid. ¡°Did I really just¡ was that really me?¡± I said aloud while puking into a pot. I realize I¡¯m not the best of men but killing a child? That goes far beyond what I wished to do. They are defenseless and innocent. The second that thought went through my mind rage coursed through my head, making it cloudy. ¡°They are not innocent!¡± A voice said in my head. ¡°What did they do to deserve being killed like that?¡± I asked mentally ¡°THEY TREATED US AS IF WE WERE NOTHING BUT SLAVES! USED US AS SEX TOYS FOR THEIR PERVERTED DESIRES! SO WHAT IF IT HAPPENS TO THEM! THEY DESERVE IT!¡± The voice screamed in my head. I couldn¡¯t say anything back. Truth was they did deserve it but it didn¡¯t make it that much easier for me to kill them. I walked back back towards the throne, looking at the two dead bodies of the children I killed. Indescribable grief went through me as I looked at them but somewhere deep in my heart I knew that this was the right choice. As the saying goes, An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and a life for a life. ¡°Zayan!¡± I yelled, shocked I forgot about her. I rushed down the stairs, jumping down at extreme speeds. I rushed through the city, ignoring the screams of humans as they were pulled from hiding by beasts. When I reached the tent- or more precisely where the tent should be- all I saw were smashed cages and the like scattered around, the beasts wanting to destroy their previous chains. I rushed towards the door, not wanting to see the broken hinges and the smashed wood lying around it. I reached the bottom in a single four legged leap, my paws and claws skidding on stone. I didn¡¯t want to admit it. I looked back and forth throughout the room multiple times but just saw the cold, unforgiving stone walls looking back at me. Zayan was gone. She was dead. ¡°No, don¡¯t jump to conclusions¡± I told myself. I looked around the room, noting the complete lack of bloodstains aside from the ones on the chains from the sla-beastwomen captives. As much as I sniffed I couldn¡¯t smell her scent in the air anywhere. It was like she completely disappeared. I rushed back upstairs, looking for a beastwoman. I quickly spotted a cheetah beastwoman ripping the testicles off of a male human. I winced in ghost pain but pressed on. Such was my love for Zayan. I grabbed her by the arms and spun her towards me. She looked like she was about to attack me but when she saw my golden eyed gaze drilling into her she stopped immediately. ¡°Have you seen a dark elf with snow white hair? Possibly accompanied by a fox?¡± I frantically asked, accidentally using my homeworlds language. I was about to ask again but she suddenly said ¡°You can speak feline? And no, I haven¡¯t seen any dark elf with white hair.¡± She exclaimed, surprised that I speak feline. Which I don¡¯t. I was going to tell her I didn¡¯t when a loud scream pierced the air. ¡°Zayan!¡± I immediately thought. I rushed towards the sound of the noise, breaking through anything that got in my way. I was more than a little disappointed when all I saw was a couple of humans protecting their child from a gang of beastwomen. I watched with avid curiosity the struggle between the two. The man was a skinny little thing, definitely under 130 pounds. He had a few pounds of muscle on him but it was nothing in the face of creatures born for fighting. He punched a beastwoman in the face, to which she just laughed. She grabbed his arm and with a loud roar ripped the arm off, causing blood to spew everywhere. I switched back into my yeti form. I didn¡¯t like staying in other forms for too long. Home is where the heart is, after all. ¡°GAAAH!!!¡± The man screamed, clenching his non existing arm. The was screaming constantly now, as if that would make her attackers go away. Instead the noise just made the beastwoman angrier, harshly kicking the mother in the back. I wondered why I wasn¡¯t helping them. I mean, I used to be human. I too was once a weak and fragile being, only becoming strong through rigorous mountain climbing training. Speaking of that, I need to go and climb a mountain. Maybe it¡¯d relieve some stress The man was getting kicked and punched around like a doll, being used as nothing more than a toy. Karma¡¯s a bitch huh? I watched as one of the beastwoman gripped the mans testicles, causing him to scream in pain. In one smooth motion they ripped off his pants, leaving his considerable sized member hanging out in the open. To my shock the beastwoman used a furry paw to stroke the mans member. Even in pain the man could react to an arousing situation. His arm was still bleeding and I could tell in a few minutes he would die from blood loss. One of the other beastwomen grabbed the wife by her head and forcibly wrenched it up, along with her eyes. She was forced to watch in stark horror as her husband had his member swallowed by a beastwoman vagina, moaning in pleasure as he was ridden in the streets. Her face was truly a sight to behold. Tears, snot and puke lined her face as she was forced to watch her husband be pleasured by another woman, and to top it off from the sound of his voice he loved it! Suddenly her eyes got this dull look into them, signaling that she just snapped. She fell backwards, leaving the child she was tightly clutching shivering in fear and out in the open. The beastwoman were screaming in joy as the woman fell back, unable to withstand the shock. ¡°Cruel¡± I thought. Not only are we destroying them physically, but also mentally. Suddenly the child looked straight at me, her red eyes looking at me like a piercing sword. The child had short red hair that went down to her ears, going no farther. She had small ears and a small nose, though her tomboyish features made her look good with them. But that wasn¡¯t the shocking thing that I saw. The left half of her face was completely burned, as if someone dipped her in fire only on her left side. It was a mesh of ugly flesh. I began to walk towards them, my eyes never leaving the girls. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. I paid no attention to the beastwomen, only staring at the child. When I reached her I simply stared at her left side, intrigued by the burnt flesh. She didn¡¯t cringe or flinch away, not even to hide her face in shame. She simply stared at me, her eyes never leaving mine. ¡°Who are you!¡± A beastwoman to my left snarled. ¡°Stop! He is the one who set us all free and free¡¯d the beasts from the cages! He is the only reason we are free!¡± A beastwoman to the right of me said. I looked towards the left one, seeing a proud fox with it¡¯s tail cut off. When she noticed me staring she growled but didn¡¯t do anything else. I looked to my right and saw the avian who bowed to me first when I was on the throne, then saw a wolf beastwoman with green fur. I looked back at the child, ignoring them. ¡°Why do you not fear me?¡± I asked her. The 10 guards I was ¡°Escorted¡± by couldn¡¯t stop shivering in my presence yet a mere child can return my stare ¡°What is their to fear when all thats left is death?¡± She asked, shocking me ¡°Do you not fear death?¡± I asked ¡°Do you fear the unknown?¡± She suddenly asked. After thinking about it I said ¡°No I do not. Advancing through the unknown has lead us where we are today¡± ¡°Exactly. So why should I fear death? All it is is another unknown¡± She said with a pair of cold eyes. ¡°Then I shall make it unknown to you no longer¡± I told her. I grabbed her by the throat with two fingers and lifted up. I was shocked to see that she was crippled, her legs also burnt and horribly scarred. Without another word I crushed her body, sending it to meat paste within seconds. ¡°Three children¡ though I don¡¯t know if I should count that as a child. After all, without legs it can hardly be considered living. Without free will nothing can be considered living¡± For the rest of the day I searched around the kingdom, looking everywhere and anywhere for Zayan After searching the whole kingdom twice- which wasn¡¯t hard considering nearly all the building were destroyed- leaving me with no option but to return to the castle. To my surprise it was packed full of beastwomen celebrating their freedom. Large chunks of meat and a few vegetables were strewn around a large banquet table in front of the throne. Women were chatting happily amongst each other, playing games and dancing around now that they were free. When they saw me standing in the doorway all noise ceased to exist. I stared at them, my gaze encompassing the whole throne in an instant. ¡°What do you plan to do now that you are free?¡± I asked curiously. For minutes no one spoke, simply looking at each other and collecting their thoughts. Suddenly a voice from within the crowd which I recognized said ¡°I.. no, possibly WE would wish to follow you. I assume that this isn¡¯t a One time thing. We would be a great addition to your cause and would obey your every command¡± The avian girl said, making her way through the people. ¡°You wish to help me?¡± It wasn¡¯t even a question. I looked into the eyes of all these women, seeing pain and rage in their hearts. Indignation at what has been done to them. ¡°So you wish to help me¡ fine. But in doing so you must accept me as your king, your leader. You must obey every wish and command I give out, whether it is selfish or not. Do you still wish to join?¡± I asked The avian woman got down on one knee, lowering her head and bowing to her king. One by one the women did this, all bowing at me. ¡°So this is what it feels like to be a king¡¡± I thought. ¡°I will take that as a yes¡ now for my first assignment¡± I began. They were clearly shocked to get a mission so soon. I shrunk down to ram form. I liked the deep voice it gave out, even deeper than the yeti¡¯s voice. The women watched in bewilderment as this 17 foot tall giant changed his shape and form into a beastman ram, his white fur giving him a majestic look. ¡°You can change shape!?¡± A woman from the crowd yelled in shock ¡°Yes¡± I replied simply ¡°HOW!?¡± Another screamed ¡°I.. I was chosen. Chosen by¡¡± Now that I think of it, I didn¡¯t know her name. That damned seductive bitch that gave me these powers never told me her name. ¡°I do not know her name to tell you the truth. All I know is that she gave me a fraction of her powers, allowing me to do this¡± I said while motioning to my body ¡°That is amazing!¡± A woman said. The women had mixed reactions to this, but none of them dared to show a face of disgust in front of this powerful creature. ¡°You said something about an assignment?¡± The avian woman asked, eager to get back on task. ¡°Oh yes.... Leave¡± I said simply ¡°Huh?¡± A shocked and confused reply came ¡°You heard me. Leave. If you wish to assist me then go back to where you came from. FInd your husbands, friends, children. Anyone that you know and then pass this message around ¡°The Progenitor is alive, and is going to change this world for the better. Beastmen young and old, I implore you to fight. Fight for freedom against the oppression we are facing at human hands. I am powerful by myself, but stronger with others. So I ask you again, will you stay in the shadows, hiding like a coward? Or will you arm yourself for war and live without fearing that your children could be taken away any moment? JOIN ME! JOIN ME IN MY FIGHT AGAINST THE HUMANS!¡±¡° I finished, taking in a big gulp of air to replenish my lungs. ¡°When morning comes you will leave and spread this message to every corner of the continent. I advise you to grab everything you absolutely need and then leave. I have no doubt in my mind that the humans have gotten wind of what has happened here and are preparing an army to attack us with¡± I said. ¡°We accept!¡± The beastwomen said at once. ¡°Good¡± I thought. Now to find Zayan. ---------------------- Zayan¡¯s Pov ¡¡¡. -------------------- Like the cliffhanger? Haha, hope you enjoyed! As I said, I got two chaps out :D Though this one is kind of short :P
