《Re:sword》 chap 0. Prologue (re.vamped) A big hand to Theonceunknown who held me fix and edit this chapter. _______________________________________________________________________________ ~prologue~ I was the best sword-smith in my kingdom, My swords were desired by all, but I only sold to a few. You see I didn''t do it for the money ,I did it to increase my skill. Yea, yea, I know what you''re thinking, if I was the best ,why would I need to get better? Well , that''s simple, its because I wasn''t the best. During my travels to acquire more knowledge of smithing, ores, and forging techniques, I came across a sword in a dungeon. The sword was plunged into a stone in the center of a circular chamber, there wasn''t any rust or damage.It was a single edged blade that had a slight curve. This would make you assume that this blade was meant for slashing. Besides that, it was beautiful, the handle was covered by a black cloth that had diamond''s shaped into the handle. The hand guard was simple, yet it looked magnificent. The blade was black with a grey stripe running along its sharp edge.By far, it was the best crafted sword I had ever seen. But while I was admiring the beauty of the blade, the worst thing happened, my ignorant fool of a companion walked into the circle trying to claim his ¡°reward¡±. Even the mage in our party warned us of the magic circle on the ground. Now you might be asking why a blacksmith is raiding a dungeon. Well the reason was simple, I was there to repair their equipment , make new arrows, etc. However, that wasn''t the only reason I was there. This dungeon was created by the god of black-smithing.I had to see if I could learn any of the secrets it hid. So by half begging and half paying my way in , I joined their grand adventure and accompanied them into the dungeon, Now back on topic. As the mage screamed to stop ,his foot entered into the circle. It started to produce a faint red glow. The ¡°brave adventures¡± turned tail and ran out with fear across their faces, but I didn''t leave, I just stood there. The party didn''t even look back, probably thinking if a monster came out it would go for me first. But I had no fear because I knew that the circle wasn''t meant for killing intruders. Tears started rushing out of my eyes as I knew what was going to happen next. At that moment the blade dissolved into dust and blew away. Even though we were in the lowest level of the dungeon the wind began pushing the dust through a small hole in the ceiling. At that moment I decided to strive to make a sword that could compare to that sword''s beauty and sharpness and offer it to the god of black-smithing as a token of gratitude for allowing me to see such a fine blade.But that day never came. It has been 10 years since that incident and as you might have guessed, I still haven''t surpassed the splendor of that sword. I was in my forge working on a new way to craft a sword using a method to create a new type of metalwork called ¡°Damascus steel¡±.(the method i describe below is false thats the process to make fake Damascus steel for which i am sorry for.) This was an idea that I came up with by taking multiple thin pieces of the same type of metal ( with varying purities) along with a some sliver. With these, I began forging the ingot which would be used for the sword. First, I quick welded the strips together so they would stay together during their heating process.After that, I constantly pounded it until it became a solid bar. I then cut it into 2 separate pieces and begun the lengthening process ,stretching each piece out to about a foot and a half, Now I have two thin metal rods. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. I then heated each rod to the same temperature after it got to the right temperature, i held both rods in place with a stone brace I began twisting the two bars together as if forging a metal rope. After that was done , I once again heated it up to extreme temperatures, after this, I turned it into an ingot. This ingot was as black as night with white swirls in it making it look like the night sky. After letting the bar sit for a day I then commenced the tedious process of forging the sword. Since this was a prototype of a new way to forge a strong sword I was only going to make a simple short sword. To test its durability,sharpness,and beauty. The process took a little over 8 hours to forge and polish, the sword came out as a black sword with dull silver swirls on the blade. The main metal I used was devil''s steel; if the sword was forged with only that metal ,it would look like a pitch black sword that would be darker than the night. However, I wasn''t aiming for that I wanted a sword that would strike awe into whoever viewed it. Beauty was the focus point but the blade would still have to be able to be used in battle. A short fat man that had the face of a pig , which oozed arrogance, and a noblemen walked in with 5 fully armored men and a kid that looked about 14 years old. The kid had brown hair and looked like his father just not as fat. They were the nobility that I had refused to sell a sword to last week, The fat man spoke... [Its a shame that you didn''t make that sword for my son here, well no matter , I will just take one by force.] The Kid spoke next... [Father can I pick my sword out myself.] [Sure go, be quick.] The kid started running around looking at all the swords. I shouted [What do you think you''re doing!?!] The kid look at me or more accurately, the sword in my hand. [Father ,want that one.] Pointing his finger at the sword in my hand. I shouted [Like hell your getting this, NOW GET OUT OF MY FORGE!] And before I even noticed I had a sword sticking out of my chest. One of the armored men stabbed me from behind. How he got there I had no clue. As the light began to fade I heard the man speak. [That isn''t the way you speak to your king.] As I fell forward, I took the sword and hugged it closely to my chest, I''m never letting go of this sword!

chap 1. God of smithing (revamped) again i cant thank "TheOnceUnknown" enough for helping me edit these chapters give him some mad prop''s. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Dying was quite different than what I had imagined. Unlike all the stories where you don''t feel any pain when you die, I felt quite a bit. Maybe it was because the one who stabbed me kept twisting his sword, or maybe it was because you wouldn''t fear death if it was painful. Well, it doesn¡¯t matter anymore seeing as how I''m already dead. I was under the impression that you were meant to lose your rational thought when you died, but I guess there was no real way to know the truth other than through experiencing it. It is odd though, I still have the vague feeling that I have limbs and what not. At that moment I heard a DING! and a blue box appeared in front of me. My first thought upon seeing it was... [What is this, some type of spirit magic?] Well, I guess it won''t hurt to read it...

What? Not even an option to decline? Well, I wasn''t planning to anyways. The moment my finger touched the ¡°YES¡± option, my view suddenly got brighter. I didn¡¯t bother to look around because the only thing that would require my attention was standing right in front of me. He was a tall figure with a lot of muscles, he had a hardened face that looked like it had been tempered by the hottest fire. His hair was a bright red and it reached down to his shoulders, yet there wasn''t a single strand of hair in front of his face to obscure his vision. He also had a full beard that looked like it hadn''t been shaved in many years. But, I was certain of one thing, The God of Smithing was standing right in front of me. After about a minute of silence I decided I would be the one to start the conversation. [I take it you''re The God of Smithing.] [...] [I like that you didn¡¯t even give me the option to refuse your offer. I do want you to know that I wouldn''t have refused it even if you let me.] After my response, he starts laughing, and this wasn''t a small chuckle, it was full blown, belly aching, laugh! After he finished, he began to speak. [I haven''t seen anyone with that much spice in centuries, you also correctly guessed that I was The God of Smithing. While I am sure that you want to know my real name, calling me The God of Smithing will be fine.] After, thinking for a second, I decided to ask how I caught his interest. [What did I do to catch your interest?] [What? You don''t know? Well, not many people decide to try to surpass the work of a god without gaining that god''s attention in the process.] [Ooooooh, are you by chance mad? I only tried to surpass your work in order to repent for destroying such a beautiful sword.] This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. [Well, personally, you didn''t make me mad, but, there are few rules regarding if a mortal challenges a god to a battle of strength or skill (crafting). The rules state that if the god loses, the challenging mortal will replace the god that they beat; however, the rules also state that if the mortal loses, then the challenged god has to punish the challenger based on how close they came to winning.] I stared at him blankly, I was never one to get hot-headed. I knew that no matter how much screaming, yelling, or complaining I did, I wasn''t going to be getting out of this predicament. So, instead of fighting his ruling, I would try my best to get a lesser punishment, I mean, I can''t deny that I was trying to surpass his work. [So, what is this punishment then, I was wondering if, per chance, you could give me a light sentence?] [I would, but, you got pretty close to surpassing my work, and, just for your information, I only placed that sword there so I could see the shock on the face of the mortal when the sword turned to dust. I never expected someone to get so fired up about it. The lightest punishment I can give you is transferring your soul into a sword.] [...] I was shocked, not by the soul transferring, but by how light the punishment was. I thought I would have to suffer an eternity in the blazing fires of hell or, at least, something akin to that. [Now, since I was amused by your perseverance, I will do you a favor, after all, not many blacksmiths come to challenge me.] [Oh?] [I''ll give you a year to make the sword that will house your soul. I will also give you all the books with information regarding the ores that will be present on your new planet. The planet you will be sent to is very similar to yours, the one major difference being that magic is more potent on it than on your previous world. It''s potent enough that even some of the ores have magical properties. When you are working on your sword, just call out the name of the ore and the amount you need and it will magically appear. You can make as many practice swords as you need to before attempting to make the final product.] [Oh, also, here are some books about the forging methods that are present on your new planet, there are even some that you haven''t heard of before. Best of luck to you, I''ll see you and your new body in a year.] Then, with a flick of his wrist, 2 bookshelves filled with books and the finest forge I had ever seen in my life (or should it be "in my death") appeared out of nowhere. [Oh, and one more thing, you won''t need to sleep, eat, shit, or even rest your body while you''re here; however, you will need to rest your mind. If you do get mentally exhausted, the best way to recover is through meditation, but sleeping also works.] And with those parting words he was gone. [Well, I won''t accomplish anything standing here.] And with that, I went to the bookshelves and started reading. chap 2. The OP sword (revamped) Every one give a round TheOnceUnknown a round of applause for editting this chapter.I dont know how long it would have taken me to do it but he saved me a bunch of times, Thank him the next time you see him. __________________________________________________________________________________ I don''t know how long it''s been since I came to this place, but, if I were to guess, I would say that it has been roughly 3 months. Shortly after The God of Smithing left, I found out that not all the books he provided were about blacksmithing and metallurgy, in fact, one of the 2 bookshelves had books that were solely dedicated to facts about, what I could only assume, would be my new home. Some of the fun facts that were hidden in those books included that there was going to be more than just one race present on my new planet; from what I read it seems that it is inhabited by elves, demons, beastmen , humans, and draconic, which, based on the name, seem to be a dragon-like race. The books also had a lot of information regarding the world''s history which included such things as wars. Those same books also mentioned that the races get along with each other; however, crimes, such as slavery, run rampant (in this regard, I suspect there is more hostility between the races than what meets the eye). Yet, the other books included information about mana- manipulation, and, while reading about it, I learned that everything in my new world has mana, whether it is living or non-living, a fact that I plan to fully abuse while I am crafting my new body. I also found out that I learn extremely fast in this realm, and while I don''t currently know why that is, I can only assume that I will learn about that later. Furthermore, I also decided that I would learn all the languages present on my new home so that I would always understand what my user, and those around them, were saying. It only took me about a month to learn the 5 main languages and the 15 branch languages that I might encounter on my new planet. Finally, after I finished learning about my new home, I delved into the knowledge the other bookshelf offered about metallurgy and blacksmithing (which surprisingly enough did hold techniques I had never heard about), I even researched the ores that would be present on my new planet. I was slightly surprised that it took me three months to learn all of this information, although I guess it would have taken much longer outside of this realm. After I finished reading, I decided to begin working on my new body. I began planning and working on a "katana" like the one I had made when I was alive. It''s a one sided sword that empathizes slashing and sharpness. Since I will likely be stuck with this new body for a long time, I decided to make it the best it could be, I even made a checklist of what I want to achieve when I''m crafting it! ~The needs for My New Body~ 1. A Teleportation Enchantment - The reason for this is so I don''t end up in the hands of a man ( do I even need to explain why I would hate that?). 2. Advanced mana/Presence detection - The reason for this is that I won''t be able to see like I currently do, for that reason, I need a way to sense my surroundings. 3. A way to stop dulling and rusting- I don''t know what conditions I will be in before I am found, and, I don''t know if my new owner will even know how to maintain a sword. I think it''s better to be safe than sorry. I wasn''t able to find a material to stop rusting, but I was able to find a material that will always stay sharp (I don''t trust that rumor, but I do hope that the material does sport a large durability). 4.Add as many enchantments and as much magic as I can to myself- I won''t be just a one- trick pony, I will add runes to both my sword and sheath( including one that releases magic attacks when I am drawn, I plan for the effects to linger for about 10 minutes, to change the attack type, my user will have to re-draw me). 5.Put a woman''s grip on the sword (optional)- You know why... 6. Have an abundant storehouse for mana- This is to put as little strain on my user as possible and, it is necessary so that I will be able to fully use my enchantments and magic. 7. Make Myself God-Damned Beautiful- There is no need for an explanation as to why I want this... 8. Create a Binding Rune/ Magic- If I ever get stolen, with this, I will be able to teleport myself back to my user''s hand. (THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT I AM ENDING UP IN A MAN''S HAND!) 9. Find a way to communicate with my user(optional)- I haven''t found a way to achieve this goal yet, but I would be much more helpful if I could communicate with my user. 10.Intimidating Aura/ Hidden Aura- This will allow me to not only stay out of the reach of men but it will also let me scare away dangers. The Hidden aura will allow me to hide my presence whether for stealth or for when I just don''t want to stand out. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It has been 3 months since I started making prototypes of my new body. Let''s just say that crafting has had its up and downs. At the moment, I have only been able to complete 8 out of my 10 objectives, I still haven''t figured out what to for objectives 3 and 9, but, even with this unforeseen difficulty, I will not be daunted. The God of Smithing also dropped by today, and after catching up with him, I told him about the problems I was having. After hearing my issues, he said he would give me a hint regarding one of them if I gave up a month of my allotted time. I unhesitatingly agreed, and decided I wanted a hint about how to solve my 3rd objective. His answer was to simply give me an ancient book and leave ( with an evil grin upon his face I might add). I almost tore open the book, but, upon reading it, the book simply said that if a soul was bound inside of a weapon, it would then gain 10X the durability that it would normally have, no matter what material was used to craft it. Upon seeing this I almost immediately shouted [I''ve been had] to which I heard a soft chortle from somewhere off in the distance. Even though I was tricked, I did feel a bit better knowing the life of my sword wouldn''t be at stake (figuratively). I then went and used this past month to start forging my masterpiece. I used a forging method similar to the one I had used when I was alive to make and temper the Damascus Steel, except, this style had more "shizwas up the wazu". The real reason I used this style was because it allowed me to combine metals perfectly. Normally I wouldn''t have been able to use this style due to the massive amount of mana that would have been required; however, in this realm, almost anything was possible. The metals I''m fusing together with this method are endurium ( the metal with the rumors that claimed it gave everlasting durability and strength) , azeath ( a metal which can draw in mana from its surroundings; it also holds the most mana out of any of the ores that were available), and evolitium ( a metal that is both extremely sharp and extremely lightweight). Each of the metals I used were so rare that the books that mentioned them claimed that they were either myths or that they just plain didn''t exist. After fusing them together, I began forging my soul''s vessel. Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. When I finished my arduous task of forging both the sword and its sheath, a blue screen popped up asking if I wanted to view the statistics of my newly made items. I didn''t completely understand what the box was asking me, but I was shocked when I saw the fruits of my labor...

This sheath could almost be classified as a weapon by itself. Its beauty knows no limits and is it unparallel to anything previously created by man. The craftsmen is unknown but they wanted the sheath to simply be named sheath (for simplicity). The craftsman also wanted this [] sheath, just like the sword it holds, to only be touched by the hands of a woman. .
With tears in my eyes I look at the windows and almost shouted... [This is everything I could ever hope for in a sword!] It was true, I couldn''t hope for a better sword, especially not with the time I had left. After I was done admiring my work, I took the sword and placed it within its sheath. The moment it clicked, The God of Smithing appeared and asked if I was ready to go. I had one final thing I wanted to request of him, so I asked... [Can I make one final request?] [Hmm... what would you like?] [Can you have it so that my owner will be a woman?] [Well, that really isn''t my field of expertise, but, The Goddess of Fate does owe me a favor for creating a sword for her champion. I must warn you though, she likes to play dirty and will grant your wish, just not in the way you hoped. If you give her a offering it might better your chances though.] Without any hesitation, I asked if I could use my remaining time to make a gift for The Goddess of Fate. He would allow me to make her gifts, but he once again warned me that she was very picky about her gifts, but, before he had a chance to offer me any advice about how to make the gifts, I stopped him, telling him that I had already thought of the perfect gifts for her. He sighed then left with an amused simile plastered across his face. With my remaining time, I put all of my skill and perseverance into the gifts I would give to the goddess, even more effort than I put into making the sword. I''m not sure how much time I have left or even how much time I had already spent on making her gifts, I didn''t stop once, not even to look over my work. I had to make it perfect the first time, there was no room for error, my new life depended on it! chap 3. The gift (revamped) dont forget to thank TheOnceUnknown for his hard work in editing this. The God of Smithing''s POV The blacksmith that was working within my domain recently finished his new body. I was mildly impressed, his work was better than anything a Minor God of Smithing could ever hope to craft, but, before I placed him in his new body, he made the strangest request I had ever heard. [Can I make one final request?] I agreed; the thought of "what could he want" swimming through my mind, but, what he wanted surprised me. [Can you have it so that my owner is a woman?] I responded that, that wasn''t really my expertise, but I told him that the Goddess of Fate might grant his request if he made an offering she approved of. I was going to suggest making a mirror, but, before I had a chance to suggest it, he stopped me and told me that he had the perfect gift . I was slightly peeved that he wasn''t even going to listen to my offer, but, then I wondered what he was going to make that he was so sure of; it was because of this that I left with a small grin showing on my face. On the day of judgment, I checked in on him to see if he had finished what he had planned, I expected him to be working til'' the last second; however, he was just sitting on the ground, meditating, the gift or maybe gifts were sitting on the ground next to him, wrapped in some festive paper with a note attached on the top of it. Since he seemed unresponsive, maybe through mental exhaustion, I decided I would take the gift(s) in his stead and ask the goddess about what he wanted. After grabbing the gift, I teleported to The Goddess of Fate''s chambers, as soon as she saw me she greeted me with... [Have you finally come to claim the favor that I owe you?] [In a way, yes, I am.] Was what I replied, I then began to explain to her exactly what I wanted and why. After she heard my full explanation, a could see a visible spark of curiosity in her eyes, she then ripped both the note and the wrapped package from my hands (almost taking my hands in the process). She read through the note rapidly, and almost as soon as she finished ( maybe even before she did) she started tearing into the wrapping of the gift, and opened it. I didn''t know what she took out, but, it look like a type of dress. I didn''t know what type of dress, but it was gorgeous, it was so stunning that the kid might have beat The God of Crafting if he had challenged him, I could only be glad that he didn''t get to fully complete the sword he was making while he was alive, if he had, he might have become The God of Smithing. I couldn''t even tell what world the design came from. While I was mulling over my thoughts, I heard the goddess say [stats], when she read it, the look on her faced switched from shock to confusion to anger in a time span that was so quick that no mortal would have noted the change. She then shouted... [ JUST WHAT GAME ARE YOU PLAYING GODDESS OF WISDOM!!!] I tried to inquire what set her off, but, before I could, she simply handed me the items and told me to look, and look I did; what I found was stunning...

After I finished reading, The goddess began to giggle... [Fufufu. I was planning on playing a trick on the mortal, but, I think I''ll grant his request, I mean he gave me such an outstanding offering, I didn''t even know such things could be crafted by mortals. This might be my new favorite dress, it''s much better than this ratty old thing ( she says pointing to her current attire).( She then took of her old clothes and put on the new set so rapidly I couldn''t even glace her skin) This one is so much better, not only does it look better, but it feels divine.] With that, she practically threw me out of her room in order to call more gods in to view her in her new splendor ( luckily she noted, as she threw me out of the room, that should would grant his request). When I got back, he was already done meditating, I then told him of the outcome ( to which he got a small smirk on his face when he heard the judgment). I was always a fan of the people figuring out the small plots of the story and i plan to have that in my story the longer the story goes on the more in depth and complex these lore facts will get. Most of the time you will get 2 releases in short succession. _______________________________________________________________________ When i woke up i was in a new landscape that wasn¡¯t all white, Which shocked me.Then i remembered that i finished the gift for The Goddess of Fate and i made 1 critical error...I FORGOT TO CHECK THE STATS!!!!! I started worry maybe it was good enough i mean the idea to make the dress just sorta came to me out of no where i even knew how to craft it as if i was a master tailor so it couldnt be horrible. Well no sense crying over spilled milk i guess it would be best for me to start observing the area. What i first noticed was alot of green, I was in a forest about 10 feet of clear plans surround me. It looks like im on a slit hill surrounded by a semi-circle of standing stones with me in the midde(think half of stonehenge). below me is what looks like the sword i craft in the sheath stuck into a stone altar. Sorta like how the sword i saw in the dungeon. But this is out in the open i guess i cant really see about me seeing as how the trees foliage is covering me only allowing a few beams of light to get through the thick tree leaves. Then it hit me¡­...Im the sword in the stone and my spirit is directly above it it feels like im chained to the sword only allowing me to float 5 feet away from it. (think like the sword from sword shaman anime but the wielder doesnt know its there [yet ;)]) Im a dog on a chain...Well I the only thing i could do now it wait for my new hopefully female owner to arrive While i''m waiting i can give a quick look around i activated my mana perception skill which i crafted into the sword to expand my field of view. There are a few small animals around. I see what appears to be like a rabbit with a horn about 30 feet away from me, If i remember correctly that creature is called a horned rabbit. When i was in the ¡°white world¡± i went through about 3 different encyclopedias of monsters that are on this planet and i do not seem to have forgotten any of them if fact i sorta feel like i am the encyclopedia. If i don''t know something it just pops up in my head like i searched for it. strange. I tried to open up that status window from before but it didn''t work. Maybe because im not technique alive anymore or its due to that fact that i could only do it in the ¡°white world¡±. after about a hour of manual looking around and using mana perception i conclude that im in the middle of no where in a massive forest. The only life i detect are monsters and small animals. No sign of any human¡¯s anywhere, If i were to guess im the reward at the end of a forest dungeon. Seeing as how im directly in the middle of this forest. I mean directly it took me awhile but i did the math and this forest appears to be a perfect circle and im dead smack in the middle. So with nothing left to do i decide the only thing i can do is wait luckily i''ve learned a way to pass the time and that is advanced mana absorption, Let me explain. In this world Mana is in everything and around everything. Im going to take the mana from the air and absorb it into my sword since i have no passive way to collect mana i have to do it manually until i get a owner. Since my new body can hold what i can only imagine a ton of mana inside it i have plenty of storage room.But the best part is this takes a lot of time to do But for the person meditating it feels like only a few hours have passed. I even have a back up plan which is have mana perception active always so i can get a alarm if someone enters into my little clearing. And since mana perception takes mana to uses i''m filling and draining my mana at the same rate. I know a brilliant plan if I do say so myself. So im going to fill up my tank first then activate mana perception. (author note: 1 hour in advanced meditation= roughly 1 month for readers benefit.) Well it felt like its been about 1 month(60 years) since i started using advanced mana absorption. Im starting to get bored of this slightly but ill keep it up. That was when i got the alarm. I am rather confused i only set it to detect sentient life directly around the clearing so i should be able to visually see them but they''re not there. What appears to have entered was 11 lets call them humans for now since i can''t tell there race with mana perception. The first human is a bit in and is a bit farther ahead it looks like there running. The other ten are following it close the first humans heel. If i can''t tell it looks like they have their weapons drawn and are chasing the first human. I start to focus in on the first human base on the shape of their mana it looks like there a girl about the age of 16 and has a very frightened aura i could be wrong though. And the men chasing her seem to be in there 20-40 all have very sinister auras. I thought this is my chance that could be my new owner i need to lead them here. I start activating my intimidating aura to scare away all the creators in their path. It seems the girl has a detect presence skill and is avoiding the monsters so if i scare the big creators i should lead her directly to me. This took awhile but shes right outside my clearing i could tell she''s mentally and physically exhausted, While the men are fine i saw them drinking something out of a bottle that most be the recovery pots i read about. At that moment the girl busted through the clearing and i got my first good look at my soon to be new owner. She was a beast-man or the more commonly referred as demi-humans here. She is around 5.8ft tall (176cm for you non americans) has has silverish grey hair. Her breast size is normal not to large or small thats the same with her butt. She had pointed ears and a tail that were the same color as her hair. I am unable to tell if she is more closely related to a fox or to a wolf. But she was beautiful none the less. Even with damaged and torn clothes that look like they were made for adventures. She had a cold beauty face that looks like its fallen on hard times. But right now she had a look of fear. When she broke through the tree line into the small clearing she had a panicked face and started desperately looking around and then started running towards my direction. But on closer inspection that color held a magic spell in it im not sure what though. Anyways it doesnt matter THEY''RE NOT GETTING MY NEW OWNER!! as i shout in my head i start releasing the most killing intent i have ever tried.Of course none of it was directed to the girl. The men stopped in there tracks. Sweat poured down from there faces. Hell i even see one of them has wet his pants. The girl look really confused and started looking around and then she finally notice me. She started intently at my body. I had to get her to grab the sword but how?! As i was thinking she grabbed my sheath and pulled me out of the stone. Chance!!. I sent the sword bind request and without a second thought she accepted it.HaHa this girl was meant for me. Since i let of the killing intent to focus on the binding spell one of the men rushed us with his sword held high. When he began to swing down she drew the sword as in a attempted to block but activated my special magic wind slash. Cutting the sword in half and blowing the man back 5 feet with the wind magic. This girls a naturally on her first draw she already used one of my special magics, Thats it this girl was meant for me. She stared me with a look of confusion on her face. You can almost see the light bulb flick one when she made a guess how she did that. Air still flows around me she has 3 more slashes of ¡°wind slash¡± left, Let see how well she does. This whole time ive been laying killing intent on them so they don''t approach us till shes ready. When she took a stance which i might had look horrid She is definitely not trained in using swords. I release the killing intent and 2 this time began to approach slowly they picked up there comrade and all three approached (the one that had his sword cut drew a knife didnt know how to really explain this in the story). And at the end was a similar god cap. The whole sword had a slight curve to it unlike any i have ever seen. If the sheath is this beautifully i wonder what the sword looks like. The first thought that came to my mind was (what is this reference to) Its a trap!!! But if im going down fighting might as well do it looking cool. Dont they learn anything i just used a magic attack that''s like a wave you would think it would be smart to split up a little. I decide to deal with them before they gained a brain. i slashed down at a angle with all my might and another air attack came of the blade this time it sent them flying and upon hitting the ground knocked them out.Before the others had any time to act i wildly swung my sword to fire of the last the air slashes and like with the other three sent them flying and knocking them out. After about 15 minutes of tying people to a tree i can guess that the monsters dont come in the clearing seeing as how there aren''t even any bugs. So i decide to take the risk and sleep on top of the hill. I hadn''t had a good days sleep in weeks and i deserve one with the sword still in my hand i went to sleep. I couldn''t Hear what it was but a moment later a blue box appeared in front of me facing the girl. She can use the boxes.I was shocked i couldn''t figure out how to activate them when i tried. While i was thinking i noticed that even though my view is reversed i notice a few of my skills have ¡°????¡± on them. It wasn''t really surprising i had thought something like this would happen. I mean she has to work to get my full strength out. I also notice one other peculiar thing about my info screen besides wind bonus being unlocked dark,lightning are as well. I couldn''t figure out why they were so i left it as a stroke of luck that she also could use those. After her facial expression changed multiple times over the span of a few minutes she seemed to snap back into reality. And begun to stare much more intently. Then she spoke for the first time i had actual heard the owner speak. It was in the most common beastman language which of course i knew it.. [clairvoyance] It didnt even take me a second to figure out what she wanted. I activated my mana perception skill and shared it with her. Since i wanted to show off i showed her my max range. After a few minutes of exploring what the ability could do she went back into what im going to call ¡°think mode¡± Because the only thing she does when shes in this mode is think. After a bit she begun to speak again but its only to activate my skills. Which i guess is normal seeing as how it would be crazy for you to have a conversation with your weapon. She then told me to stop, Which i can only assume stop my sharing of mana perception. So once i accomplished what she wanted. She went back into thinking mode and if any man were to see this the only words they could come up with were cute. After a few seconds of thinking she again spoke a singular word [intimidating aura] like last time I knew exactly what she had wanted and activated my killing intent. She stood there staring at me with a hard expression on her face. I began to wonder if i did something wrong then she started to look around and i felt her activate her own mana perception skill. When she did that again her face showed that she was shock. I mean i can only surprise you so many times you don''t need to be shocked every time you see a new skill of mine. She went back into think mode again, and after a bit i guess she reached a logical solution to the thing that puzzled her.She tried a few more things like tapping into my mana reserves and activating my other skills. I complied and while we walk through the forest i scared away any monsters that wanted to attack. After walking in circles for a bit i got tired of her being lost and activated the other effect of my skill clairvoyance. I used mana to form a faintly glowing path only she could see because she was my owner.(if need help imaging it picture the clairvoyance skill from skyrim its basically look¡¯s like that) She was shocked of course then i guess it clicked in her head that this was the other ¡°random¡± effect of the skill clairvoyance. She began following the path and within a hour we reached the edge of the forest.She had a look of excitement on her face. I would to if i was trapped in the forest being chased by slavers. While i was thinking she began to speak to me which shocked me [hey show me the way to the nearest village, please.] I didnt have any problems and based on my mana perception skill and all the knowledge i gained on this world i was able to guess were the closest village was and activated clairvoyance again. She began to eagerly follow it and within a few hours we began to approach a 15 ft tall wooden wall. She stopped a bit away from the wall and asked me to use my other aura which allows me to go mostly unnoticed. Once activated she just keep standing there looking at me with a confused face. Since she is my owner the skill won''t work on her. It took her a bit to guess that but she began walking towards the village. Once we approached the gates the guardsmen called out to her. [hey! what business does a demi-human have here.] She began to respond in the human language this time. I was shocked my owner was bi-lingual i knew my new owner was smarter than your average person. But i assumed that the lacks of books in this world made it hard for people to learn two languages. after talking back and forth for a few minutes the guard decided to let her in with a 1 gold toll.Which based on my knowledge is way over priced but since we got about 20 gold from the slavers i guess she didn''t want the hassle of haggling. Before even going to a inn she went straight for the clothes store which again shocked me. I knew women liked clothes from my previous life but i didn''t expect it to be so much that the first thing they do when entering a town is go buy clothes.But then i remember her clothes are all torn and tattered and to be honest. Not the best thing to wear in public. So i guess she just didnt want to be embarassed. Upon entering the clothing store the shop owner greeted us. She talked with Owner for a bit a guess about weapons in the shop and that it wasn''t allow and she agreed to hand me over. But im stubborn i wont let anyone else touch me except the owner. The instant the women began to approach to pick me up i teleported back into my owners hand. The cleric had a surprised expression on her faced and i guess she demanded an explanation. After owner spent a good 10 minutes talking the women out of her anger they agreed on just setting me on the table till she left the store. Which i wouldnt mind its not like she was going to leave me and as long as no one else touches me im fine. After what seemed to be hours Owner finally got a new set of clothes to wear and after paying the women extra from what i seen i teleported back into her hand and we left the store. Without even stopping at the inn we left the town and started heading along the path south. i have no clue were we are going but it seems Owner does so ill just trust her till she asked for my assistance and with that we began our journey to who knows where.

chap 7. The plan (revamped) If you had trouble reading the last chapter it has been redone. Just wanted to give a heads up.I usually write up the rough draft in google docs. You would think getting out of a large circular forest was as easy as going in a straight line. But noo you''d be wrong. It just had to be a complex maze. How the hell did I even manage to find my way to the center so easily before? This sword has been the only stroke of good luck I''ve had in a long time. And now I''m going to die of starvation in a forest full of hungry monsters. At least this Sword is doing its job correctly, which is keeping away everything that wants to have a quick snack. Man I wish the other effect of clairvoyance would activate. I dont want to be lost anymore. Hey is it just me or is there a sparkling path? What! Could this be the random effect i was just hoping for! Ever since i got this sword things have been on the up and up for me. Hell i might even make it for the registration!(author notes *cough cough sch cough arc*). It took me about an hour to leave the forest following the faint trail of light. Once we were at the edge it felt so good to see the sun again. Sadly I had no idea which side of the forest were on. Maybe if I asked the sword where the closest town was it might show me? And if you cant already tell im in need of some new clothes.] [O I can tell missy, but entrance will cost you one gold.] Gods I hate that stare he''s giving me. [Here you go, thanks for letting me through.] When entering the town I kept on getting pervy stares from men all over, so the first place i decided to visit was the tailor¡¯s shop. I decided to leave town as fast as I could as I didn''t want to be here anymore. Since I previously walked around town half naked and all. So I decided to start heading towards Scholas and register myself for Knights training. On the road to Scholas, I knew I was going to get attacked by a few bandits and monsters. But since I was afraid I might not have been able make in time for registration I needed to hurry. So I simply activated the swords [intimidating aura] and they just passed out there and then.I swear this sword seems to be getting stronger. Further down the road i met a fairly nice merchant who sold me some leather armor for rather cheap. I was also able to sell him the stuff i got out of the ¡°attempted bandit attacks¡±. I definitely didn''t leave all that stuff behind.Which rounded my gold out to about 35 pieces. Its been a week since I started my journey to Scholas. I have since done some workout routines to improve my chance of passing the entrance exam. But ever since I got this sword I seem to be able to run for half a day without getting even a little tired. So once I got onto a main road I decide to push my limits and see how long I could last running at full speed...Turns out I''m already at the wall, I have been running for 2 days straight without even so much as stopping to sleep or even rest. WHAT''S UP with this sword? I Knew it gave me an increase in stamina and all but that doesn''t mean I should be able sprint for 2 days straight. There''s got to be something I''m missing here. I just wish I knew someone that I trusted enough to ask about this. If I manage to pass the entrance exam I''m definitely going to ask the principal as I''ve heard he was a honorable man. Along with being the most skilled warrior in this Kingdom. As i began to approach the gates I activated the code name ¡°cloaking aura¡±. During my running i attempted to change the activation word for that skill mainly because it''s a pain to say the full thing. I''m not sure if it worked but there''s only one way to find out. ______________________________________________________________________________ the go plan for the other perspective''s is to improve on my conversation skills which i suck at. And the sword is descriptive writing improvement. The Swords chapter''s are going to be longer then these ones (except the last one it was late.) and provide more detail on whats going on while these type of chapters are intereaction''s with laura herself like conversations so on and so forth. Chap 8. Scholas author notes. Know im a bit sad no ones noticed this. But i like to leave hints about major plot developments in the story.Next chapter one of those plot points that I hinted at will be revealed. If anyone can guess it before next release. The next 2 releases after that will be released faster. Just some motivation there. Also you guys kept asking for longer chapters even though most of the ones i release are over 1000 words long. So ill give you longer chapter¡¯s here take it. Not like i had things i wanted to do today anyways. next chapter should be out by tonight or tomorrow ive gotten really into the mood of writing so don''t expect to wait to long. Just don''t ask for it, 4 private messages asking me to hurry up sheesh people. __________________________________________________________________________ ~sword PoV~ Upon leaving the small village,we began walking on a simple dirt road south. Since this village is located rather far north and is a far distance away from any other settlement i began to wonder what Owner is going to do for food. After about a few hours i found out. Apparently this world is full of traveling merchant¡¯s that go up and down roads selling/buying gear from adventures that are either coming or going from the uncharted area. They travel in large bands of 4-5 wagon¡¯s with guards. Now normally the guards would need to be paid but since the king of the country wants to expand his land rapidly. As long as the merchant¡¯s travel up and down the main roads he will offer them protection to assist the explorers who go into the uncharted territory. And as you would guess theirs a food shop there selling traveling food like jerky,crackers,etc also sell¡¯s canteen''s full of fresh water. My owner didn''t even beat a eyelash at this and acted like its perfectly normal. And since none the books i read in the ¡°white world¡± told me about this i was quite confused. My owner bought a new traveling bag. (think like one of those book bags that have rope for straps and are made of plastic obviously this was made of leather.) After buying The needed supplies she then set on her way towards the main road. About 2 days on our journey. We were attacked by bandits. The looks on there face told exactly what they were planning to do while staring at owner. I was glad When owner asked me to activate my [intimidating aura]. ( aa i have been asked multiple times how does a sword have a aura and i shall explain my thought process.)

I put so much force into the aura that the bandits just fell over, And it wasn''t pretty. After owner took all their money and any valuables they had on them she start to jog away at a nice pace. After walking for abit of time be began to approach a stone brick road, which can only be what is considered the main road and started heading east. After a few hours of normal walking owner stopped in place and looked up towards the sky. Her eyes show that she activated her ability [think mode] And begun to start off into space.After a few minutes of thinking she started to do some stretches. After she was done doing the stretches She gotten into a sprinting position, And started to run at full speed. After about a hour i could tell she was about to run low on energy, so i decided to play a trick on her.Without her knowing i began pouring mana which i converted into light attribute recover magic that was already a function on my sheath into her replenishing her energy and stamina. She keep running for 2 day¡¯s straight and even ran through the night.And before she knew it we were upon the city walls. As they rapidly retreated i sighed. ¡°look¡¯s like i wont be able to meditate tonight.¡± That night 3 different groups tried to break into the room and by the time it was morning i was pissed so many people tried to kidnap owner. When i first got the sword the first time i drew the blade the sword generated a slash of condensed air that was able to cut through a steel sword. Not only that i seem to be able to adjust how sharp the [air slash] was and could set it so it just release a powerful gust of wind. Since that I tried numerous times to activate the skill but was unable to.¡± ¡°well if my knowledge on rune enchantments is correct then that was a single time use. You Just probably need the right ignition to activate the enchantment. And since i got a far bit of time and money i might as well get some custom fit clothes. upon entering the clothes store we had the same issue as the last time i entered one but this time i came prepare. ¡°hello girls how may i help you today? Honestly even though this sword is really light i would like to have my hand back. As the old man came out from the back i caught my first glimpse of the belt. The whole belt had a was black it had a smooth treated leather look to it.The strap that went around the body was thin about 1 inch thick. on one side it had multiple iron chains hanging down with thick strips of soft black leather on one side of the chain near the end. which i guess were the parts that went in between the chain the the sheath to protect it and make its grip stronger.And at the part were the chains connect to the belt there was what appeared to be polish bronze(polish bronze looks similar to gold just one or two shades less yellow) cap with delicate design patterns it to making the belt of a beautiful look all together. This doesn''t really work well with long swords because there straight blade makes it hard to pull out. But with your blade that has a slight curve to it and allows for easy draw fits perfect with this kind of belt.¡± After a few minor adjustments were made to the belt i put it on with the sword attached and it felt perfect. Now lets hurry up and get to the exam.¡± We reached tel¡¯ram knight¡¯s academy and got in line to be tested to see how much many and what are affinity is. This is mainly to root out people with zero talent since this school is the best in the city and only selects the best of the newcomers. Since Pristine went in front of me i was able to see her results. They way the test you is you put your hand on a orb. That orb test¡¯s how much mana you have,your affinity it also states your name, race, age. Its really hard for anyone to get there mana affinity tested official since those orbs are really rare. The usually way for poor people is you try to activate a spell in each tree. But thats not bullet proof since you could have low mana or it takes you to actual know your mana affinity for you to use magic from that affinity. When pristine put her hand on the orb a wisdom box appeared above the orb facing both directions.

The short answer is she didnt get a dual affinity from the sword. the long one is in the frequently asked question¡¯s up above __________________________________________________________________________ ~Sword PoV~ When Master Vayne woke up, she seemed to be in a hurry.I think today is the day shes going to try to get into a academy.After getting on her cloths she grab a fancy belt that had some weird chains hanging down on one side. Since It seemed like she was coming over to me i teleported into her hand. Unknowingly that belt was meant for me. It was a nice belt but on a rating scale for looks it would be a ? from me. But i guess caring me around all day sorta takes up a hand and since it fits the color pattern on me ill deal with it. Also Master Vayne does look extremely cool with it on. Heading down stairs i notice a few of the people who tried to assault master last night. I activated a little bit of my aura to make sure they didn''t try anything.(author note: im just going back to him calling her Owner a lot easier that way.)Owner had a look of confusion but She didnt seem to mind the people looking at her in fear. Owner said her goodbyes to the person behind the desk and left. Instead of going straight to the school district she went to the town center. There she met a beautifully blonde haired elf. They started to run of into a direction together. I was rather confused, When did owner get a friend?¡± Also it seems no ones approaching her when they were going to the academy, Usually even if owner is sprinting that doesn''t stop people from trying to hit on her. After a quick thought about i reasoned that it was because she was with another beautifully girl and that was making it harder for men to approach them. When i snapped back into reality owner was at the front of a line to a room. Her ¡°friend¡± is in front of her. Im not sure i trust her being master¡¯s friend yet so ill keep my eye on her. She put her hand on a round crystal ball that you could see straight through. A blue box suddenly appeared above the crystal ball facing both the elf and the administrator. It was listing her name,age,race,amount of mana and mana regen and her magic affinity. She seems to have slightly more mana then the usual elf. My owner walked up to the tester and i was able to get a good look at his face. He had brown shaggy hair, and a beard that hasnt been shaven in a few weeks. He had a condescending looked rather bored. He had a stick like thing in his mouth and smoke was coming out one end.He wore a dark blue robe with enchantments etched into the design. They were going from his shoulder down to his chest and up to the other shoulder, In a semicircle kind of fashion. It probably does the same on the back. I was in awe at what i saw, from what i can tell in this world getting a dual affinity is extremely rare. And only really shows up in people who had a lineage of dual affinity users. And from my knowledge there has been no dual-affinity user in the silver-wolf tribe. That would explain why she had both dark and lightning attributes already unlocked. I was about to get lost in my train of thought but i stopped my self. My owner needs me right now i can feel the despair,confusion and¡­ a feeling of being betrayed? As i look i see the elf that was supposedly owners friend staring at her with a look of fear and disbelief. I wanted to unleash a tide of [intimidating aura] but i stopped myself. That would only cause further trouble for owner. As the teacher dragged owner down the hallway we began to approach a heavy looking door. I began to focus on owners mana, and mentally imaged taking a small chunk and pulling it out forcefully. This would not cause any pain but normally it would leave the target exhausted, no matter how much mana that was taken out. Almost as if this was staged the tester signaled that the was opening the door. Upon opening the door we came into a room that was mostly plan with a large oval desk in the middle. The man sitting at the end of the table looked in his 40¡¯s he was moderately buff and wore some type of mix between a robe and armor. The other people varied from people that looked like scholar¡¯s to people that look like soldiers. If i were to guess the man at the far end of the table was the principal of this academy and the other¡¯s were advisor¡¯s or some sort of council. The man at the end of the tabled asked the shaggy teacher who¡¯s name was Chevel what he was doing interrupting their meeting.The teacher reply seemed to agitate the others. He was saying something about this being of the utmost importance, and the principal seemed to get a worried look on his face when he noticed owner standing behind the teacher. I was not really paying attention on the conversation i was more focused on how Laura was doing. The teacher must have dropped said that owner had a dual affinity because a load of [intimidating aura] was about to be poured on laura, I had to act fast but i cant just use my aura on them to scare them. No that would draw to much attention to owner, and in her shocked state im not sure if she could deal with it properly. I decided to really do the only thing i could think of. I began to pour my own intimidating aura onto owner. There are multiple ways someone can apply intimidating aura. Those ways are either as direct pressure to suppress or knock someone out. Or You could use it to make people fear you. And the last is in a treating way sorta like a killing intent, which is a hybrid of the two that is a weaker then the two basic forms but it cover all bases. Once Owner opened the door she was greeted by a girl from the dragon race, Which slightly surprised me. But what was more surprising was what was in the room. Now i have been asked multiple times to give better descriptions on laura¡¯s PoV, So it seems some of you don''t read the author¡¯s notes at the top and bottom of the pages. So since im a nice guy and all ill explain it to you again.The focus on laura¡¯s pov isnt the surroundings it¡¯s the interactions with people and items.And for a bit of detail. You dont narrate your whole life like its a book. So things that are common to laura usually just get blown over. While the sword¡¯s pov is descriptive. Since he is a outsider to this world and only knows what he read in books. Alot of things are new sight¡¯s for him. Thus giving me a reason to over gather weird information. Like noticing the enchantment ruins engraved onto a robe where as this would be a common sight for laura thus no real reason to investigate further then ¡°o are those ruins on his tunic, interesting.¡± just thought i might let you guys know¡­.again. (author notes: most of this will be explained later but for the people who dont fully read the story all im going to say is this isnt because she has the sword.) I was a bit surprised why a wisdom box appeared in my dreams but before i could think to deeply on it my eye¡¯s started to get extremely agitated, and from extreme agitation to unbelievable amounts of pain. I start to scream due to all the pain. I put my hands over my eye¡¯s trying to suppress the pain, It felt like someone was slowly pulling them out of the socket. If i could cry i would. After what felt like hour¡¯s of suffering in pain i felt a warm sensation coming from around my stomach and spreading throughout my body. When it reached my head some of the pain started go away,but only some of it. With the help of the warm sensation and me getting use to what felt like hours of suffering the pain started to subside. I felt like i was going to pass but before i did i activated my detect life. I sensed three people standing next to my bed, since i can only sense them i dont know what their expressions are. One of them who looked like a women was hunched over me with her hand on my stomach. After confirming that someone had help me i proceeded to pass out, do to the shock and pain i had felt earlier. She was off the white wolf-tribe which gives her a reason for being here, but I feel like there something more to it. So to be able to meet one in person who you can talk with and isn''t socially awkward. is rare to say the least.When i first saw the sword she had i thought it was a weapon specific to the white-wolf clan, and ill be able to study it, learn about how they use the weapon. But my hopes were betrayed,well not exactly it just wasn''t what i was expecting. When she explained about the sword and its origin i had learned it wasn''t a weapon of her tribe, but of a ancient civilization. I had also got a far hint of why laura is away from her tribe. When she was telling me of where she found the sword, she said she got it while running away from slaver¡¯s in the uncharted territory in the north. Not only that but in a dungeon. So to say the least her sword is the best discovery to sword history to date, oo~ i''m so excited i cant wait to learn more. While i was researching ancient civilization of the north¡¯s, I start hearing screaming coming from Laura¡¯s room. I rushed in to see what was happening and saw her rolling around on her bed in pain holding her eye¡¯s. I didn''t know what to do or why this is happening, so little is known about the white-wolf tribe. I decided i need to get the headmaster immediately. I rushed out of our room and to the headmaster¡¯s bedroom on the top floor. ¡°!!Headmaster, headmaster answer the door there''s a emergency!!!!¡± ¡°What is it Ms.Mirinia, if its about the library not having a certain book again i will be infuriated.¡± ¡°No headmaster, something is happening to laura she seemed to be in extreme pain and was holding her eye¡¯s,I didn''t know what to do so i decide to come here.¡± The headmaster expression suddenly got serious he placed his hand on my shoulder and we appeared in front of my room. After a few minutes of me being confused standing by laura¡¯s bed he appeared with Selaehra who still had a tired look on her face. Legend states that the goddess of the hunt of the hunt gives the sub-variant of the beastman race aka the white wolf-tribe 3 challenges to complete. Half of the challenge is finding it and it usually takes there whole life to finish all three. When they discover one of the challenges they receive a reward from the goddess of the hunt. The first reward is the same for each person in the white-wolf tribe. A adaptation in the eye¡¯s. The second is rumored to be a piece of armor, which only breaks upon the death of its owner. and the third is unknown. Im guessing the condition to start the first trial was for laura here to realize she has a dual affinity, And to finish the trial she must master it.¡± Both me and Selaehra were shocked, Even though in this school a person with a dual affinity isn''t uncommon since the 5 races made a blood oath stating that if a person of their race had a dual affinity they will be sent here to train. Besides the headmaster there are now three people with a dual affinity in this school.But more shocking then that there has been no one in the white-wolf tribe to have a dual affinity until today. After about 30 minutes, and 6 mana potions for Selaehra later it seems that laura has stopped writhing in pain and has calmed down. Her face is still all cramped up and she seemed to have lost consciousness, it seems that she is fine. After wrapping bandages around her eyes since we were uncertain if the adaptation could get damaged by light easily since there technically new eyes. The headmaster sent Selaehra back to bed and gave her permission to miss the first class so she can get extra sleep. After she left the headmaster had a bit of a sad look on his face. ¡°It looks like i wont be able to learn about that mysterious sword of her¡¯s today.¡± ¡°ah, headmaster if its about the sword laura told me abit about it before she went to bed. After explaining everything in vivid detail the headmaster asked if they could view the stats of the sword.(author notes: without direct permission from the owner of the item one cannot use [identify].) Since I had no problem with it I also informed them they might want to look on the sheath as well. I was shocked I had expected the sheath to be good but not to this level. I could see what they were truly made for, but now they¡¯re nothing more then decoration. It seems like the fanatic at least had manners and went to go get owner something to drink. She had a long day and even though she slept earlier I could see she was tired. She had a look of fatigue on her face and wasn''t even sitting properly in the chair. But luckily when the fanatic came back into the room she straighten herself up. Unlucky though even with my 10x cloaking capabilities she still noticed me. When she walked into the room she froze in place holding a tray with 2 cups on it. Then in the back of her eyes a light appeared. IT began to shine brighter and brighter. When owner was washing I stood guard at the door you never know what a fanatic will do. When I was still alive one jumped through my bathroom window when I was taking a shit to try to get me to give him a butter knife at least. I hit yes as fast as I could so the timer didn¡¯t run out. Im not even sure how she¡¯s going to help me and it hurts my pride to not only accept a collector but to make a weapon for them as well. But I need to help owner as much as I can and this was my last life line. After that thought 5 bookshelf¡¯s appeared in front of me with a number label on top going from 1-5. I took the first book of first shelf and it said ¡°armor making for dummies¡± I then went to the 5th shelf and grabbed the last book on the bottom shelf. Ok here is the next chapter sorry didnt get it out yesterday. Also i just went back through and combined all the chapters that had multiple parts so i really need you guys to go back through all so i can get my rating back up, sniff sniff fell so far. spoiler tag¡¯s are not actual spoilers,unless said otherwise. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- sword ~PoV~ It took me a bit but i finally came up with a way to do this effectively, Instead of trying to read all the books about how to make all the types of armor. Which would take way to long i mean it took me a month to read all the books on 1 of these bookshelf¡¯s, no way am i going to be able to read 5 in that amount of time. So instead of reading all of them i read only the ones about how to make the armor that i need. The last words of the goddess of the hunt were that it was armor needed to be able to be worn daily. So clanky heavy armor is already out, also owner never like heavy armor in the first place, But i cant just do leather that would be to easy and i like this challenge. In my old world there was a lost forging practice called metal cloth. And as the name suggest it was a way to turn any type of metal into something similar to cloth, or in other words something extremely strong while being as flexible as normal cloths. And if this is all the books about how to forge armor im sure the process to make it is here somewhere. Only problem is these bookshelves are 15 feet tall, I have no clue were or how to find what i need. I can pretty much positive its not on the first or second bookshelf, mainly because if it was that simple of a technique it wouldn''t be lost. I tried to start looking in the last bookshelf but i couldnt really understand any of the titles (author notes: ok since i figured a few of you might be confused about why he cant understand the titles so i have the perfect example. its like a math equation that''s only in Greek letters if you know what i mean, if not look it up.) Im really in a pickle here i cant waste any time idling around. Then it hit me, the goddess of wisdom wants me to make her a similar dress to the one that was made for the goddess of fate. So that means she has to collect it some how. And when she does ill ask for her assistance. But im going to have to put alot of effort in this. So much so that she would overlook the fact about what im going to do for the weapon for the fana¡­..owners roommate. It had the same transparency as the information blue box¡¯s and it look to be the same type of material or whatever it was as those info box¡¯s had but instead of giving information it made a actual box. I was confused for a second but i can feel my consciousness slipping so i hurriedly put it in the box and when i did the blue box plus my box disappeared, And then i fainted. [actual dress description] picture being under water. near the top of the dress you get the look of watering piercing throw the water, but the further down you look on the dress the darker it gets. it had the same type of gloves as the goddess of fate had, but there is no fan since i picture the goddess of wisdom carrying around a book. well there ya go i did it for you guys. When i woke up i noticed two things. first yet again i forgot to check the status of the dress yet again, and second theres a pile of books next to me. I picked up the top book off the stack and noticed this was what i was looking for. There are less books than i had expected but the goddess of wisdom listened to my request and pulled them out for me. I had no time to spare i needed to read these fast i dont know how long i was out and i didnt even look at the clock i just started reading the books. (author notes:you know when i said i wouldn''t do this that often well yea im doing it again) ~Goddess of Fates PoV~ I can''t get enough of this dress that mortal made, Its exquisite. especially when i saw the (minor) god of tailorings face when he saw the dress, I could practically see his jaw drop. He keep on asking where i got it from i just play coy with him saying it was a secret. I hadn''t had this much fun in age¡¯s. After awhile he gave up asking and went away pouting. tada the second chapter. hip hip harray --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Sword¡¯s PoV~ I see why the practice for making metal cloth was lost. Not only is it extremely hard to do It costs a too much mana to make, and on top of that you can only make it with a certain forge meant for making only it. Honestly if i was still a craftsmen on my old world and had the knowledge to make this stuff i wouldnt do it anyways.There is no extra defense provided to it. Its harder to infuse enchantments because you have to sow it into the cloth, which is really hard to do seeing as how one error causes you to have to restart the whole piece over again.If you had that all up it would take months to make shirt.The only benefit this provides is that is can make any metal flexible as cloths,But it doesnt even reduce its weight. But im not alive anymore, I can summon any ore i need and to top it off the goddess of wisdom even gifted me with the forge to make it,but that came at a price.It seems she caught on to my plan and she had me swear that i would make a acceptable weapon for the roommate,So i cant make a butter knife like i planned. I was out played. Since i didnt have enough time to make a full set of metal cloth clothes i had to improvise. Only one arm will have metal cloth. The other arm will be have another style of armor smithing that i learn. It basically focuses on join movement allowing the wearer to move limbs freely but not to the level of the metal cloth. The plan is to have the cloth be on the arm that wields me and the free movement plate armor will be on the other. It will also be were the symbol of the goddess of the hunt will be located. Its also going to hold more defensive enchants i have a few plan¡¯s. While the other arm will have illusion enchants. Since im at my most powerfully when im being drawn the enchants that would be on not only make it hard for people to follow that arm¡¯s movements it creates actual illusions of the sword being drawn.Naturally the illusions can''t do any physical damage but its purpose is for mental damage. (author notes:Spoiler : You know like in anime when a character says he can see your move before you even make it. and it shows a sorta transparent figure doing the move that person will make. sorta like that but Laura won''t actual be making the move it messes with the mind. As for what the symbol of the goddess would be i had a hard time picking it. Now you would think it would be easy, owner is of the white wolf tribe so wolf symbol pretty easy right, no. If it was a deer i could put symbol based enchants, those are imagery enchantments. Its a advance form of rune enchant that takes the image and assimilate it as types of magic based on the image. So if it was a deer then you could get a few different based enchants like threat sensing,increase speed,etc. But if it was a wolf it would give the feeling of a pack mentality so more of her tribe around her the stronger she gets and so on. But the problem lies in that, owner is alone. Her tribe wasnt around her and from what i could tell from her conversation they abandoned her. It took me awhile but i found a loop hole. On this planet theres a monster called the white wolf. Now this wolf is a solitary hunter and is infact the bases of the prejudice that beastmen actual come from beast¡¯s. Since the white wolf tribe well white wolf¡¯s. But its false the white wolf monster although has alot of intelligence would be impossible to be the ancestor¡¯s of the white wolf tribe. Mainly for the fact of 2 things. 1 there gender-less and to unless killed they are immortal so they have no need to find family / mates. It was rumored the goddess of the hunt created the beast to be hunted by herself. It is practically impossible for a mortal to track this beast it is that well at covering it tracks. But the species is extinct now. No one really knows what happened. Thus sprouting the rumor that they became the white wolf tribe. So i decided to carve in the shoulder the head of the white wolf clad in lightening. Usually this would be impossible to directly at a element in imagery enchantment¡¯s due to the strain on the rune by the number of possibility meaning to the image thus overloading the rune making it null and void. But as i said they symbol will have the wolf face clad in lightning.Thus only leaving a few possibilities that the image could mean. If this goes as planned the owner will be able to use the enchantment to clad the arm covered in hard metal in lightning. And get the benefits of the white wolf which would give buff¡¯s of the wolf even though owner would be alone. But i didn''t know what to do for the chest-piece or had the time to work on a chest piece fully enchanting it. So the armor is only going to cover owners upper chest and arm¡¯s. It is a rather unique type of armor and i dont even think it has a name. I began to work. I started to work on the plated armor arm first. I summoned the materials to make strengthen quick silver. Its a special metal that can only be made here. It basically will retain the same look of quick-silver, which is as you can tell is a grayish silver color. And increases the durability of the metal itself. The reason why i said that it can only be made here is because its the normal mixture of mithril and silver but instead of just that. Using the ultimate metallurgy technique i also infuse endurium which although a lot stronger by itself its not as good with magic and its heavy. And the fact that its extremely rare no ones insane enough to use it to just strength quick-silver. And even with that mix in the quick-silver isnt even as strong as the raw form of endurium. In other words it is a complete waste. But i wanted the color of the plate armor to be a grayish silver while being strong (about a 8 on strength scale). Its also has the weight of normal armor but since i will put the same gravity enchant but owner won''t be able to change the weight it will only make it about 5 pounds(original weight was 20 pounds) so the weight is noticeable but can be ignored.And with the armor all planned out i began to work. ********* I only have about 5 hours left based on the clock. I almost forgot to make the weapon for the roommate but i was able to finish it. It was a ornamental blade from my world that isnt here, It was a scimitar. I wont make a sword meant for battle to be hung on a wall but since i cant ignore the goddess of wisdom request. I made a sword that was meant to be hung on a wall. The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. I spent the last few hours polishing the armor and doing finally check up¡¯s. The right arm is a form fitting joint armor that allows free movement to a extent. It has a grayish silver color to to it with a black outline surrounding each plate. On the shoulder there is a image rune of a white wolf cladded in lighting (basically sparks). And In straight lines there was normal written enchantments going all the way down the arm hugging the edges of the plate.(the armored plate thats meant to fit the arm im just saying it this way cause it be annoying typing all that out.)On the hand itself the it was simple with a decorated design. If by based on looks by itself it would only be about unique class. But its not by itself and the material used to forge it wasn''t normal quicksilver. The left arm was a sleeve that went past the hand (think a sleeve of a kimono). It had a simple design and was a normal white color. Along the cuff there was golden letter¡¯s that were sowed into the fabric as enchantments. But the biggest secret of the armor. The secret was the fact that the fabric was metal. Using a special combination of bright-iron,endurium, and evolitium which under almost any situation would be a waste of materials. But since i had pretty much unlimited material¡¯s, it wasnt. the combination of the alloy had the durability of 8, weight of 6 and magic of 7. The weight was ignored with gravity magic enchantment. and the high level of the metal ability to be enchanted made it easy to put ruins on the sleeve. The only problem would have been when it needed repair. Since this was made using a forgotten forging technique on my world no way would a normal blacksmith be able to repair it. The only way i could find to expand durability was to make it extra thick then normal metal cloth and add a extremely more complex thread pattern. So along with that and the fact that i was a new at making armor i could not make it have pattern. Honestly if i had not made the dresses for the goddess i wouldn''t have even humored the idea. So the armor should atleast be able to maintain proper working conditions until owner dies of old age. Only reason it wouldnt was if she keep abusing. Like using it to stop multiple dragon¡¯s breath. But i think owner would die by the heat before the armor is damage. Also i had discovered that the metal cloth actual feel¡¯s like... well cloth. you wouldn''t be able to tell that it was made out of metal unless you were a master class blacksmith and tasted it. Otherwise im not sure if you could tell.Well i guess if the gravity magic turned off and someone found out the thing weighed over 50 pounds then maybe. But i made extra sure that the gravity enchant won''t be messed up. In fact there''s 3 back up ones inside the layers of the armor just encase.Even magic nullifying skills won¡¯t work on it. but i was only able to install that feature on the last gravity enchant since it would literally take up the whole sleeve of enchantment script to write it i had to weave it in when i was making the sleeve itself so the enchantment is technically the armor as well. But the magic nullifying can only work on the enchantment its written into and drains alot of mana so most consider it a waste to use. As i was polishing the last bit of armor the goddess of the hunt appeared in front of me. ¡°what your not done yet, you let me down.I thought you would be here lazying around till i got back with a legendary class item already made.¡± ¡°I am done with the armor, I was just polishing it up.Do you want to see it¡¯s stat¡¯s.¡± ¡°what are you talking about i only see to one piece of actual armor and that''s only on one arm, although i do love that image rune of a white wolf,is it clad in lightning how smart.Instead of taking the easy way and just doing the wolf which would only give affects when other¡¯s of the same race are around you did a white wolf which is was always alone. You also cladded it in lightning which would bypass the effect¡¯s of burning out a rune, nice idea. So its a white wolf clad in lightning i think it fits the girl perfectly.But that doesnt explain why there is only one arm. Also what¡¯s with that sleeve attached to it that couldn''t be the other arm of the armor could it. If so im really depressed that you would show such poor work.using a type of cloth for the armor is a cheap way out. even if there are durability increasing enchantments on it.¡± ¡°well my goddess, you are wrong about one thing it isnt made from cloth but metal.¡± The moment she heard that she was wrong i thought was going to get attacked. But when she heard it was made of metal she instantly appeared in front of me grabbing the armor for closer inspection. ¡°What is this¡­¡­.it has the feeling of cloth and without those gravity enchantments to make it lighter it would way around 50 pounds. Which would fit into what you were saying that it was metal. But i have never seen a type of metal that is flexibly as cloth on are planet, explain now.¡± she said that with a extremely demanding voice i slightly quivered. ¡°well that is because it isnt from your world. It was called metal cloth on my planet and was a lost art allowing metal to stay as strong as the original material but have the flexibility and feeling of cloth. Normal it would be to hard to make do to the amount of effort,magic,time,resources needed to be put into it, But since 2 of those things doesn''t matter. And i don''t think putting not enough effort in would be a problem for me the only thing remaining would be time. And since i didnt had the time or skill to make a full shirt out of this armor i could only do one arm.¡± ¡°interesting im going to have to ask the god of blacksmithing more. never mind this is one good piece of armor and although nowhere near the level of the sword you made yourself. Which i would only assume was because you never made armor before this is a fine and perfect gift for your owner accomplishing her second trial. (In consideration to how Laura''s friend reacted that made her feel betrayed) Now i notice my stories popularity is starting to plateau which im not trying to say you guys need to get more people to read. But it seems people are losing interest in the story and stop reading it. So before you guys freak out saying the writer should do what the writer wants i just want to tell you partially the reason why i release this story is to talk to people in comments its like my little reward. So if you feel like theres something bugging you in this story that you would think would make it better and is not in the list of frequently asked questions answered and isnt perverted shout it out in the comments below. (also i know my grammar is horrid) Also i have another idea that might interest the people who want a more action packed story. I plan to release another novel whether it be sooner or later. Its title is going to be re:music and before you think its about a man reincarnating as an instrument you wrong ill tell you the sorta summary/info screen in the spoiler tab so it doesn''t take up so much room.Spoiler : ~story teaser~(main story will be more detailed) The two off my only favorite things are fighting and music. I enjoy the feeling of being lost in music and the adrenaline rush I get from fighting. But in my fight club someone broke the rules, the brought a knife and in are fight i got stabbed. The only regrets i had was i wont be able to listen to my music and fight. I never had a interest in girl¡¯s i keeped my grades good to keep my parents pleased. As i fell into darkness a bright light was about to engulf me but before i went thru it i was dragged to the side. When i suddenly stopped i was in a white room and a woman stood before me.(usual reincarnation stuff but 2 things aren''t going to happen 1 not being reincarnated as a monster and 2 it¡¯s not going to be a cliche normal reincarnation story starter, i strive to be unique). Without spoiling to much the world MC is going to will be hard. The world follows rules called ¡°set 5¡± and sorta follows a game idea. each set comprise of 5 main classes a vanguard a attack mage a defensive mage mid guard(or team leader) and rear guard(protects the mage¡¯s) this world is extremely based on magic to survive(explain more in story) are MC¡¯s class will be combat musician(doesn''t actual play a instrument) I can''t explain more without ruining the story. But one thing is positive it will be coming its just up to you guys if you want it sooner or later.(finally my MC is going to have something similar to a split personality but not exactly since both ¡°personality¡± always knows what¡¯s happening its more of a flip switch when MC enter combat. if you guys like this idea vote in the poll if it gets over about 25 votes before day end ill start releasing both FF at least 1 chapter a day maybe more like i have done with this one.(i prefer sooner since the number of plot ideas got me giddy.) If you read that extremely long thing then you can guess i like doing stories not from the main hero¡¯s pov but the side character¡¯s. The teacher keep on telling us to look on the blackboard while she writes down what she¡¯s describing. And since seeing right now isnt really a option for me i could only listen. Which that ended me up only getting about half of what the teacher was saying. After class was over i felt all the gaze¡¯s fall onto me. I dont really feel any rude gaze¡¯s but they still scare me a little. Its really hard to get the nerves down when you recently lost your sight. From the way there looking at me it seem¡¯s like they have a lot of questions they want answered and i didnt know what to do. I turned towards the direction of savior and frowned a little trying to ask what to do. She notice¡¯s my confusion and then notice all the people not even leaving their chairs staring at me. I felt a small amount of a angry aura pouring out of savior pointed at the other people. and they all visible flinched. ¡°you know if your all so interested im sure she wouldn''t mind answering some questions. I think its alot better than drilling holes in her back.¡± One of the life form¡¯s in the far corner stood up and walked towards us she zigg zagg in odd directions which i could only assume were the desks that were out of my perception range, ¡°Im sorry about that Laura i didn''t notice everyone was looking at you in the same way i was. It must have been pretty unnerving would you mind if the class asked you some questions?¡± ¡°Dont worry about as long as it stop¡¯s. And i don''t mind answering some questions but if its about my tribe i don''t think i can answer you questions though.¡± ¡°Thank you, anyone else who wants to ask laura a question get over here and stop just staring.¡± With that remark said about 3 other people stood up and the other¡¯s either just sat there or left the room. Which i didn''t mind less questions for me. I just hope these question¡¯s dont get to personal. Im tired of telling my life story over and over again. ¡°Alright then ill go first, What is with the sword on your waist. The rules strictly forbid weapons in the school building for the headmaster to personally state that your aloud to have it, makes that weapon quite special?¡± ¡°Well the full story is really long to make it short the sword is bond to me and if im to far away from it or someone else tries to take it. It will teleport into my hand. And to answer the next question of where i got it from it was in a dungeon in the uncharted zone to the north.¡± Im pretty sure with that last statement everyone who was listening just flinched even savior. ¡°al..alright then can i ask another question?¡± Im already pretty sure i know the next question so like with miri ill use the most effective tactic cold dead honesty. ¡°sure, i dont mind but you guys need to help me understand what the teacher was talking about earlier i cant see what she was writing on the board so understanding was a little hard.¡± ¡°Dont worry laura i was planning to help you with that once you get back to your room.¡± ¡°thank you Selaehra you really are to kind.¡± I notice her mana signature squirming a little and i thought she really likes being complemented. ¡°If you got it Selaehra then i guess i dont need to help, so back to the question. What were you doing in a dungeon in the uncharted zone? If im aware that danger level is extremely high in uncharted zones. and to top it off it was in the north. Which is considered the most dangerous. I even saw Selaehra jump out of her seat and turned to look at me. I guess these guys are pretty ignorant of the actual world huh. ¡°...Can you explain a bit more? Im rather confused i thought slavery was banned.¡± O i forgot slavery was ban this far south mainly since the kingdom¡¯s are all to intertwined, do to their god¡¯s being hand and hand. ¡°Ah i guess slavery is banned down here so let me explain. Slavery isnt banned in the north its actual considered a good thing by the public. There are even people who are registered to go around and capture non-humans If that person wasnt part of a organization like a guild or a city pass. And with that said i followed savior out of the room acting a bit clumsy to add the last punch so they will think twice about ripping out the spine of someone so helpless. Once we were down the hallway savior turned around and looked my way i almost bumped into her. ¡°Was what you said in there true?¡± I was a bit clueless as to why she would ask but since i wanted to eat and cant guide myself i decided to answer without looking to deep into it. ¡°yea, can we go eat im kinda hunger.¡± it was almost perfect timing my stomach grumbled and even though i was slightly embarrassed, i thinked it work because we began to move again. I think i pushed it to far with the cold honestly. Im going to have to act all happy to get her spirits up. We enter what i think was the cafeteria i felt a lot of people and when we entered in the room most stopped what they were doing, I had to asked what was happening. ¡°Selaehra what is going on, why did everyone stop?¡± ¡°Ah laura,well i guess you wouldn''t know but it¡¯s quite rare for 2 A ranked students to actual come to the cafeteria.And to top it off you are from the white-wolf tribe and im pretty famous myself so we would gather alot of attention. Not only that, Since you carry a weapon and wear bandages over your eyes gives of quite a strange feeling and so its only natural it would draw alot of attention. I just didnt think the moment we opened the door they would all stop. Lets get are lunch and sit down its best if you get most of the path¡¯s down in the school.¡± I agreed with her and since there are alot of people around standing up and sitting down it would be to easy to loses Selaehra. So i grabbed her sleeve and acted extra blind and whispered my problem into her ear. She seems to understands and agreed with it. We began approaching a line of life sources which if i were to guess where other student¡¯s waiting in line. They were about to let us cut but Selaehra didn''t allow it and just stood in her proper place in line saying that there is no reason for use to go ahead of people who were here longer. Im pretty used to people looking at me but im pretty sure this would be a first for me. Everyone in the room just stops what they''re doing and just continued to stare at us it was quite unnerving. I just wish for people to stop staring at me so much i really need to get use to this. I have the strongest feeling that its only going to get worst. We continued down the line till there was only one person standing in front of us, Judging by the slight jump her siginture did i think she was surprised to see 2 A rank student¡¯s. ¡°h..hello miss Selaehra what can i do for you and your friend today?¡± ¡°Hello, can we get 2 normal trays of food, With one of them having a bit extra on it im willing to pay more.¡± ¡°Are you sure?are normal size lunches are already pretty large i dont think it¡¯s a good idea to eat so much food for young girl¡¯s like yourself.¡± ¡°ah, dont worry about it. We stopped and Selaehra picked up something and asked if anyone can grab the other tray. Since i figured that will be are lunch and i cant carry it and keep track of Selaehra i started to act a bit hard at being blind and stared of into a random direction while holding onto Selaehra sleeve, just to make it more persuasive that i cant see. A few moments passed with no one offering to help. I can feel Selaehra irritation that no one was willing to help. Suddenly a person stood up and started walking towards us. She greeted Selaehra and grabbed the other tray offering to help. Judging from the voice it sounded like a rich noblemen with alot of grace. We were walking around for a bit trying to find seats, If i wasnt wrong it felt like when ever we approached a table the people sitting at it would try to take up as most space possible. The guy who offered to carry my tray said he¡¯s table had a few open seat¡¯s. Both me and Selaehra didn''t really care about his second purpose and we were both just glad to be able to sit down and eat. When we approached the table i felt alot of hostility aimed towards the man who offered to help us. They were probably pissed that he offered them room at their table. Selaehra set down her tray and told the guy to place the other next to her. Once he finished that he walked off and i lost him in the rush of people moving about. When i lifeform sat across from us and appeared to have started eating i could only guess that was the one who offered to carry my tray. I had¡­.slight trouble eating since for one i couldnt really see the food on the plate and 2 i had to act proper and i cant just shovel it down which was what i felt like doing. I was pouting and slowly eating my food. I guess Selaehra noticed this and gave me a pitied look. ¡°um sorry to interrupt both of you but my name is Alnan, can i ask why that girl has bandages over her eye¡¯s? Im pretty sure with Senior Selaehra magic she could fix any damage done to the eyes." I was about to answer but was interupted by Selaehra. ¡°She has been temporarily blinded this isnt something that can be healed with magic. She should regain her sight in about 3-4 week¡¯s.¡± She gave a vague answer but the man seemed fine with that. We continued eating in silence and once i started to notice that alot of the previous life forms that were here had left i tugged on Selaehra sleeve and asked if we were going to be late. I really wanted to leave this room since the smell of food was only making me hungrier It was like putting out a fire with one drop of water at a time. Selaehra seemed surprised that so much time had past and said farwell to the man who carried my tray. She picked up my tray and carried it over to the counter. Selaehra asked to my room saying that i couldn''t actually eat properly since i cant see. They seemed to get the picture because a few of them nodded Right when we left the cafeteria a life force was rapidly approaching.I had a bad habit that if anyone started running towards me i would swing first asked questions later. If i had my sight i would usually be able to tell if there friend or foe but since i cant really see i became extremely edgy. Selaehra seemed to notice the mistake i was about to make and quickly stopped me. I must have been releasing alot of intimidating aura. The person who was sprinting towards us fell on his but and started shaking. Strange my aura was never this powerfully before, it also felt different then how i normal release my aura. It felt more¡­.complete more stable. Once i had recognized my error I began bowing and apologizing alot. I really didnt mean to unleash such a intense aura, I didn''t even know i could release one that strong. It took awhile for Selaehra to calm the person down. Along with my repeated bowing and apologies and Selaehra explaining why i did that Seemed to have calmed him down.I noticed alot of onlookers looking at us,since when did we get such a crowd.He left us with a message saying that the headmaster wanted to see me as soon as possible. info that you need to know So wanted to update you people on a few things. -first the way i release chapter''s is a bit odd but i think its efficient. I release a chapter ever time the last chapter get''s close to my average view rating. something i release 2 chapters sometimes not hell sometimes i release 7 chapters. -The new fiction i told you guys about should come out soon its been awaiting approval all day so its bound to come out soon title is re:music. My knee had to get surgery done on. The knee was dislocated for so long it damaged some muscles and never properly set back in place. After the surgery was done I couldnt leave my bed at all so I couldnt release stories. In fact im typing this on a kindle so yea. so for the past three days I have been reading stories to help get a better understanding how to write mine. I came up with a good saying for this I like. "If you ''borrow'' 1 penny from 100 different people and exchange it in for a dollar do those people have claim to that dollar?" I just think it sounds cool and fits. That said I can''t find a lot of reincarnation stories from a girl''s PoV (i read re:lovely). So if any of you know of a FF reincarnation story from a girl''s PoV that I can give a read to help write Laura''s part great help. I Should be able to get out of my bed in a few days once I do ill start writing the next chapter. (same for my other novel re:music if you havn''t read it, give it a try. even if its only got 2 chapter''s there really long and combining both of the chapters is over 10000 words.) Im baaack! I bet you people missed me. Well fear no more for i am back. During my time out of action and my extended leave of absence I have read countless numbers of good,great,bad and horrid stories. played a few games for assistance with writing something that feel¡¯s epic (played though shadow of colossus without cheating {if you know of it or played it you know what i mean}.) and although it would be hard to implement in this story, re:music will fit perfectly.I have some BIG plans for dat story, but i''m going to start it later due to the fact that i want colored tables, I KNOW THEY EXIST I HAVE PROOF. muhahahahahaha I shall have my revenge!! *cough cough*,back on topic. I went through and reread my story (not going to start rewriting it) and found out that the laura in the story is not the laura I planned personality wise (she¡¯s a bit too serious). so im going to slightly adjust it throughout the next few chapters.And blind laura is not only hard to write its also boring to read soooooooo i''m going to take the cheap way out and give her a better item to view stuff with till sword arrives. side note here if you want to imagine what laura¡¯s see with her life detect and the first mana perception stone (and later upgrades to sword mana perception) picture batman¡¯s detective vision from his games (without the highlight of important things), now with just the life detect skill it will look like a 360 degree radius(you know what i mean) of pitch black void with rough outlines of people. and with her mana stone she has right now only goes around a 5 foot radius around her (also 360 degrees). batman¡¯s detective view is full throttle with the sword though. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Laura PoV~ After walking for a good 10 minutes we stopped in front of the headmasters office. Selaehra knocked on the large double doors stating who we are and the reason for coming. I have a new upgraded version of the mana perception stone that you can use that not only improves the detail but also improves the range by another 5 feet so you should be able to walk around better. The only downside is you are going to have to feed you own mana into it to recharge it every hour. Now on to the next topic that is slightly more important. After carefully thinking about it I think I have discovered what you¡¯re second trial is.Before you interrupt me I wish to tell you what it is and then you can ask questions after. I believe for your second trial you need to unlock all the unknown abilities of your sword. When you showed me the information on your weapon I noticed that there was some skills that were unknown and based on the other skills you managed to unlock we can assume there is a skill for each element. Since you have practically no knowledge on magic outside of the basic of darkness, and have no knowledge on how to use a sword properly let alone the unique type of weapon you have I took the liberty of calling in a old friend to help you and teach you how to use your sword. O I don''t think I have life detect activated.¡¯ When I activated my life detection I noticed only one life form which was pretty far away from me and appears to be looking down on me.I noticed I have the new M.P.S as i call it or the mana perception stone in my hand. headmaster said I had to feed it my own mana to activated it. Suddenly my instincts kicked and and I rolled to the left. Right after I heard of wood breaking. I quickly got up and before I got into a proper stance my instincts kicked in and I jumped to the left. I activated the new M.P.S and noticed 5 bulky shapes that moved slowly. they had what looks like swords in their hands and didn''t exactly look human(there stone golems). I dont know why I did not sense them with my life detect but I know they are dangerous. I notice 1 of them had its sword stuck into the floor and just now managed to get it unstuck. the other 4 slowly started to surround me.I drew my sword with the thought of speed trying activating the same ability as last time. I aimed the draw at the one directly in front of me and launched the attack. A second after the sword left the sheath a large slash appeared on the golem¡¯s chest and it got knocked back a 5 feet. But it was still alive if that¡¯s what you want to call it, it was still moving ok im not even sure if you can call these thing¡¯s living since I can¡¯t sense them with my [life detect]. After I attacked the golem the one behind me started to attack. Although his movement¡¯s are clunky I can tell they hold a lot of strength. I turned and held up my sword to block his downward swing but before it connected my instincts kicked in and I jumped back. His sword smashed into the ground and just like the other one got stuck in the ground. I noticed they were not really putting any force behind the blow just letting gravity do the work for them. Im kinda gratefully for these instinct¡¯s, even though my sword look¡¯s flimsy im positive it could take the blow without even chipping but my arm¡¯s on the other hand not so much. If just the weight of the sword could damage the floor im pretty positive my arm¡¯s wouldn¡¯t be able to take it. Remembering the fact that im surrounded I quickly got focused back on the battle. I slashed diagonally with my sword at the sword arm of the golem. I was aiming to incapacitate it since I wouldn¡¯t be able to take it out in one swing I aimed to take it out of the battle. The air slash chopped of the arm and slightly damaged the leg behind it. I was preparing another air slash when I was grabbed from behind. Two stoney arm¡¯s game em a bear hug from the back sealing of my arm¡¯s and lifting me off the ground. I was struggling to break free from his grasp but couldn¡¯t. One of the 2 remaining stone golem¡¯s that were not doing anything started t approach me. It stopped directly in front of me and slowly raised up its sword preparing a downward slash. My heart was racing so fast I had no way out of this situation my arm¡¯s were sealed and my attempts to kick the enemy away didnt do a thing. I didn''t know any darkness spell¡¯s that could help and you could forget about using lightning. As the sword came down turned my head looked away waiting for the strike to come. after a few moments of silence I noticed I was still alive. I reactivated my M.P.S and noticed the sword was stopped right above my head. Totally confused at what was going on I instinctively started turning my head from left to right. I know this wouldn''t really do anything since im always seeing things in a 360 degrees around me. I suddenly heard a loud voice from above me. ¡°you failed.disciple.¡± --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- know I was going to make this a long chapter but I couldnt resist leaving this cliff hanger. also sorry for all grammar errors I got to get back into the mojo of writing. AND I found the secret of the colored blue boxes. also its hard getting back into the pattern of writing story¡¯s daily for being gone from it for so long so it might take a bit before I get back into daily releases.
