《The Last Ki Master: The New World》 Prologue - The Lightning Master In a steel room shut off from the outside world sat a man who wore a long silk white robe with shoulder length black hair. He sat in the darkness as still as a statue. The air around him vibrated as Ki was swirling around him as he was trying to suck the Ki into his body to refine it into his Ki center using the forbidden technique [God¡¯s Meditation] [God¡¯s Meditation] was a forbidden technique as it is extremely dangerous to use. If your body can¡¯t handle the influx of Ki, then the Ki Center will explode causing the practitioner to die a gruesome death. This technique was found in the tomb of one of the greatest master in the history by a group of scholars. The scholars gave access of the technique to everyone to master without the government monopolizing it for themselves. It was a noble idea at first, but once the technique spread all over world, it just caused chaos and death to many of the citizens and practitioner. They attempted to use it to with the fantasy of joining the ranks of the very few masters that stood at the top of the world. In the end all that waited for them was a gruesome death. After all the deaths caused by the technique, the scholars were put in prison for mass murder. They were tortured and had their families killed in front of them. The truth was that the death of the citizens didn''t matter to the government; they just wanted the technique for themselves. The government banned the technique and began doing experiments with the technique using all gender, age, and race. They wanted to find out the secret so they could make the ultimate warrior and conquer the world. Only 4 people have been successful in mastering [God¡¯s Meditation]. 1 person died in the severe training. The next mentally broke down. The third was killed in battle during the war. The final one led the government¡¯s army with his overwhelming strength to conquer that world. That person was Khan La, he was kidnapped as a baby in the hospital when they secretly scanned the entire newborn babies Ki center and found that khan¡¯s Ki center was abnormally large. From age 1 - 4 the babies are given simple education and are being experimented with. If they are deemed even the slightest of being stupid they are killed in front of the other child as examples. At the age 4 - 6 he was forced among thousands of other babies to learn the technique in a dark underground room. If you didn¡¯t learn it before the age 7, they would deem you as ¡°unfit¡± and kill you on the spot in front of the other kids. By Age 7 only Khan and another boy had survive from the thousands of babies that were kidnapped. From Age 7 ¨C 14 they are forced to do the same regime everyday of Warfare education, Ki Training, physical combat. Age 15 Khan and the other boy met two other survivors. They were introduced to their new teacher Yaza age 72. Their teacher was a Rank S master level criminal who was recruited by the government to train the kids in his Ki style martial art. He was ruthless and a manic, but he was a great teacher who knew the best way to killing people with the least amount of Ki. He didn¡¯t become a Rank S from sleeping with the president wife you know. He murdered masses of people while evading other masters and experts for the longest of time. When the severe training began Yaza, he taught them his savage lightning style martial art that he made and mastered himself. He knew every fundamental because he was the creator and beat it into the 4 survivors. Age 17 after mastering the basic they were taught an intermediate level skill called Lightning Pulse. It¡¯s a skill where you charge Lightning Ki into your fist and smash the fists together causing the Lightning go expel in a huge dome around you hitting everything within range. The survivor who was from Khan¡¯s generation attempted the skill, but instead of expelling it outwards, it went inwards instantly killing the boy. The other survivor who was already mentally exhausted from the severe training broke down from the sight of their fellow survivor death and never recovered. Age 19 Khan reaches expert level, the youngest in the history. The second person would be the other survivor at the age of 26 a few months after Khan. Third would be one of the great Ki master Razita who ever, who also invented the skill [God¡¯s meditation] at the age of 38 Age 20 Following behind Yaza and fellow survivor Juki, Khan goes off to join the war front Age 30 the war rages on with no end in sight. Khan and Juki are promoted to Captain Rank while Yaza is promoted to Major of their battalions Age 33 Khan finally reaches master level being the youngest person ever to reach master level. Second would be Razita at age of 60. Third would be at the age of 64. Khan felt his Ki quadruple and suddenly the battlefield becomes his playground Age 35 Khan Achievement on the battlefield piles faster than ever since becoming a master and is promoted to major Age 37 countries after countries fall after the might Khan who¡¯s unstoppable and he¡¯s promoted to Colonel, one rank away from general. Age 38 Khan caught Juki and the members of his battalions trying to rape the princess of the country Gayle during a raid. He kills them all on the spot and then reported that Juki was killed in combat. Age 39 Khan promoted to general for his accomplishment while his teacher Yaza becomes his second in command. He¡¯s placed head of the government army to prepare for the final battle again the combine forces of Halze, Yamal, and Poratory. Age 40 Khan leads the government army into a final battle against the countries Halze, Yamal, and Poratory destroying the combine forces. The war finally ends and all the countries have been conquered with the government as the sole ruler of the planet. Khan returns back to the capital for the first time in long time. He¡¯s revere as a hero by the citizen and is given the Heroes Medal one of the highest honor you can get. His mentor Yaza decides that he has nothing left to teach Khan. Khan is happy to finally be rid of his master Yaza and decides to retire as commander, which allows Yaza to be promoted to general. At the age of 41 Khan doesn¡¯t know what he wants to do as he spent his entire life doing nothing, but training and fighting. Age 43 Khan had traveled the world. He saw the oppression of the government increase over the year and the people suffering. His mentor Yaza successfully over throws the government and become King of the lands. Khan returns home from the call of Yaza. He is forced to marry ex-princess of the country and is placed under house arrest under the orders of Yaza. He accepts his fate and goes under house arrest as Yaza threaten to kill the innocent people around him and that he¡¯s also surrounded by the remaining masters and experts. Age 44 Even though Khan under house arrest he¡¯s never been happier in his life. Yaza gives him everything he wants, but what¡¯s more is that he felt a feeling that he never felt before. That was love. He fell in love with the ex-princess who was 34 years old. The princess is average when it comes to looks, but to Khan it didn¡¯t matter to him. He didn¡¯t care about material objects and outward appearances of others. He was raised for the sole purpose of warfare so the only thing that mattered was his body. He loved her sincerity and honestly. It was hard at first for them, but they were able to warm up to each other as they had to spend all that time together. Since then Khan has been training in this steel room trying to see if there was a final level above master. He¡¯s been sitting there for 3 days without food and water, but he couldn¡¯t just leave yet as he had the feeling he was about to break a wall that has been plaguing him for years. He decided to stop training and go out and see his wife since he doesn¡¯t want to leave her by herself for too long. Khan pushes open the door and saw his wife sleeping on the couch in front of the training door waiting for him. He walks over to her and on his knees he touches her soft skin and blonde hair with his finger; putting on a gentle smile. Before he met his wife he would have never been able to put on a smile like that. She wakes up from his touch and looks at him while still half asleep and gets up to wrap her arms around him and kisses him on the lips. ¡°You kept me waiting again.¡± she says with a sad expression ¡°I¡¯m really sorry Rin, I lose track of time when I meditate.¡± Khan responds apologetically ¡°I¡¯m just happy you¡¯re back! You must be hungry let me make you something to eat.¡± Rin responds in with a big smile ¡°How about we start with we start with desert first!¡± Khan says passionately while looking straight into her deep blue eyes he picked Rin up in a princess carry ¡°What you have to have a proper meal first before desert¡± Rin scolded him Khan thought to himself is she was actually serious about that comment or not and decides to whisper what he really meant ¡°Oh¡ Haha¡¡± Rin just gave an awkward laugh and nods while blushing After a night of heated passion, Khan felt like he could conquer the world again if he needed to! He kisses Rin on the cheek while Rin was still asleep in bed and gets up to go to the kitchen. Khan decided to cook breakfast for them both as he a much better cook than his wife by not even a mile, but more like a planet size distance. He learned mastered survival cooking for the battlefield and gourmet cooking style of the capital as his master Yaza was a very picky eater. That was the only way they actually convinced the crazy old man to go to the war was with the best food that a man can get. The problem was that whenever an enemy raided the base there was a likely chance of the cook being killed so the only solution they had was to have Khan to learn how to cook. Even when Khan was commander and Yaza was his second in commander he still had to cook food for Yaza. All the new recruits were confused at first on what was happening, but understood when they told them that Yaza was Khan¡¯s master. After finishing up breakfast Khan decided to carry the food to bed to surprise Rin. He imagined her beautiful smile from the reaction of him bringing the food to her. As Khan walks back to the room with food his hand. He heard the sound of the window being smash. quickly he drops the food and uses his skill [Lightning Flash]. He instantly appears in the bedroom and saw someone standing on top of Rin with his sword in her chest. ¡°NO!¡± Khan screams at the top of his lungs Whoosh-- Khan used the skill [Lightning Flash] again flashing in front of the assassin and smashes his face into the wall, instantly killing him. He pulls out the sword from Rin back and burns the wound with lightning Ki to stop the bleeding. ¡°Rin!¡± Khan screams her name while clutching her tightly She doesn¡¯t respond Khan checks her pulse, but gets nothing. He puts his head on her chest, but feels no beating. Khan gathers Lightning Ki into his hand tries to get her heart to pump again. First try her body doesn¡¯t respond and he gives her CPR and goes for a second try. Second try He still gets no responds and gives her CPR. Third time she reacts and gasps for air. Rin started coughing out blood and looks at Khan weakly while tears was pouring down Rin¡¯s face ¡°You know I¡¯ve never been so happy in my life. Before I got married to you, No one ever wanted me because I was an ugly princess compared to my sister and as I aged people just looked at me with more disgust. You loved me for who I was¡± Rin says softly ¡°Rin wh----¡° Khan tries to respond, but gets cut off by Rin kiss ¡°Say you love you one more time¡± Rin pleaded ¡°I love you Rin, please don¡¯t leave me¡± He answered ¡°I love you too, don¡¯t forgot me, my hero¡± Rin whispers one last time into his ears Her bodies go limp. Khan checks for her pulse one more time, but nothing. He desperately ties to revive Rin by jump starting her heart with lightning Ki again. Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. First Time: No response Second Time: No Response Third Time: No Response Fourth Time: No Response ¡°Ahh¡± Khan tries to say something, but nothing coming out. His whole body feels heavy and tears start pouring down his eyes. He kisses her one last time and gets up to head to the castle Before Khan jumps out the bedroom window he looks behind him ¡°I love you Rin, Rest Well.¡± Khan says with a sad expression, looking at the body Rin. He jumps out the window into the town street. The streets looked like something out of a horror movie. There was corpse and blood everywhere on the streets and walls. It seemed like all the bodies were fresh and were killed instantly without a sound. Khan activated [Lightning Step] to increase movement. Everywhere he went was the same thing as Khan headed to the castle. The area where he was under house arrest was the area for the rich and nobles, which meant it was generally less populated making it easier for stealth attacks. As he got closer to the main gates of the castle he heard screams in the air and saw Yaza royal guards killing everyone that was in the area. Whoosh¡ª Khan appeared in front of the gates in middle of all of the guards using [Lightning Flash] He charges Ki into his fist and smashes them together activating [Lightning Pulse] sending all the guards around him flying into nearby buildings or the castle wall breaking all their bones in their bodies from the impact. He runs past the gate and a swarm of 120 guards come charging at home with 4 experts leading them. Khan charges Ki into both his hands preparing for his next attack The experts saw the Ki building up in his hand and quickly sent their attack toward him hoping to stop him from activating his skill [Hell Bird Fireball] [Earth Slam] [Tiger Fist] [Hawk Wave] [Tiger Roar] All the attacks hit Khan, but because of Khan natural Ki defense it does a small amount of damage. Khan doesn¡¯t even flinch at all and rises his Ki charged hand that has static lightning coming out and squeezes it as hard as he can activating the Master level skill [Lightning Storm]. Lightning comes down from the sky and electrocutes all the experts and guards out in the open. All the experts just fall to floor with a thud and the guards who were mostly intermediate and advance level would have certain limbs explode depending the level is their Ki. There was blood everywhere from the explosion of the limbs. From the dismembered bodies blood was slowly gushing down the stairs as Khan ran up into the castle. In Throne room there was a large formation on the floor. Yaza was in the middle of the formation with a [Lightning Barrier] surrounding the formation chanting something in an unknown language. In front of the Barrier was 3 master level experts and dead bodies in front of them who looked to have opposed the ritual. The three master charges at Khan in high speed. When they get close in range Khan activates Advance skill [Lightning Armor] and Master level skill [Savage Lightning Dance]. [Lightning Armor] surrounds Khan with lightning statics protecting his body. It reduces damage along with paralyzing whoever attacks the armor with a physical attack [Savage Lightning Dance] Surrounds the area with a lightning field and allows the caster to instantly flashing anywhere within the field as if he was lightning itself. The field will also slow anyone movement and attack speed trapped inside and stop anyone else from entering or exiting. The masters begin to slow down from the effects of the Lightning flying freely within the field. Khan flashes behind the 1st expert while charging both his hands with Ki. In his hand is two [Lightning Spear] is formed. He stabbed both the spears into the back of the first master and he drops to his knees coughing out blood. The second Master lunges at Khan, instead of flashing away Khan takes a step forward and knee the master in the face before he can grab on to Khan, knocking him to the ground. The third master releases the charged Ki from his hands Master Level skill [Ki Tomb]. Khan feels a pressure surrounding him so he attempts to flash away, but his leg is still within range of the [Ki Tomb]. The bones in Khan¡¯s left leg are all broken. He¡¯s still able to flash within the barrier field and does so by flashing behind the third master and hitting him in the back with a [Lightning Punch] breaking his spine causing him to be paralyzed from the waist down. Khan charges two [Lightning Spear] as the man falls to his knee, then to the ground face forward. Khan jams the first spear into the back of his head ending his life. The second spear Khan throws at the second master who¡¯s barely getting up from getting smashed in the face with Khan¡¯s knee. The spear rips through the neck of the man. He tries to cover the open wound to stop the flow of blood, but is unable to and bled quickly bled to death. The first man still on his knee is unable to move from his wounds looks at Khan ¡°Ple¡ase¡.Sp¡a..re¡..Me¡± He weakly begged Khan Khan looks at him coldly and walks slowly toward the guy ¡°ah¡.Ple¡.ase¡.I¡¯ll......Gi.-----¡° He begs one more time, but gets stops as Khan snaps his neck like a twig, leaving the man¡¯s body to fall to the ground lifeless. Khan deactivated [Savage Lightning Dance] and limped toward Yaza Yaza looks back at Khan and smiles ¡°As expected of my pupil; you killed those three masters singlehandedly!¡± Yaza said joyfully ¡°I¡¯m going to fucking kill you for what you¡¯ve done to Rin¡± Screamed Khan at the top of his lungs as he limps toward Yaza ¡°I¡¯m sorry my favorite pupil, I needed to the blood of the royal bloodline for this ritual. The reason I kept you in house arrest in the same house nearby because one of my formations is under your house connected to this one. That¡¯s why I forced her to marry you to keep her there and alive from assassinations!¡± Yaza said as if it was a funny joke Khan never felt this angry in his life. His Ki started leaking out and small burst static Lightning was appearing around Khan¡¯s body. Once Khan reached the [Lightning Barrier] He used [Lightning Punch], [Lightning Spear], and [Lightning Storm], but nothing affected the barrier. The formation started glowing and Yaza began chanting faster! Khan used his bare hands to try and face a gap open, but all he could do was open a small gap just for his head to fit through. His hands started to burn from trying to force the Lightning too long. if you touch someone else lightning it will harm you, but you will only receive half the damage if you have the same type of Ki trained. Khan wouldn¡¯t give up and kept pulling, but yield no results. He dropped to his knee feeling dejected and begin activating [God¡¯s Meditation] hoping for a little bit of energy to help kill Yaza He looked at Yaza as Ki begins entering his body ¡°Why Yaza?¡± Khan asked ¡°Because I¡¯m fucking 102 years old, what do you expect? I¡¯m a dying old man! I sent out my armies to create formations all over the world under the pretense of a festival so I can sacrifice all these pieces of shit so I can gain eternal youth!¡± Screamed Yaza As Khan continued to gather Ki he felt the wall from the peak of master level beginning to crack. ¡°This is why I took the damn job to become a government pig and play babysitter with you guys. I couldn¡¯t kill enough people by myself, so I thought maybe if I had some government influence I can do it. It¡¯s all thanks to you, my favorite Pupil!¡± Yaza says while laughing hysterically. The room begins to as the formation grows even brighter. Yaza begins to chant even faster Khan wall that been plaguing Khan finally broken down. The room begins to rumble and Khan feels an influx of Ki entering his body. Yaza just looks at Khan in disbelief while continue to chant. Khan looks back at Yaza and smiles. He¡¯s finally reached grandmaster. A level in Ki mastery that no one in history achieved Khan stands up and rips open the [Lightning Barrier] with ease. He limps toward Yaza and puts both his hands on Yaza head as he still continues to chant ¡°You got anything to say before I send you to the afterlife old man!¡± Khan screams at Yaza ¡°I do, I finished the chant haha! Now eternal youth will be mine!¡± Yaza replies in joy as a tornado begins to form around them Khan charges all his Ki into his hand and sends as much Lightning through Yaza Body. Yaza body violently shakes and his body blows up covering Khan in his master blood and guts. He fell backwards as the tornado surrounded him closing in on him Khan had just reached grandmaster level and killed his mentor who has wronged him. He didn¡¯t feel any joy He just felt empty He wanted to just hold Rin in his arms Khan thought about the moments he had with her, their first meeting, First awkward kiss, first time making love, and of course the first time she smile at him. It was the smile that melted his Ice heart and made him feel a new emotion that he never felt before. If he could, He would trade all his power that he worked so hard for. Just so he can be with Rin for one more day; No even an hour would be enough. He cried as he laid there. The tornado finally sucked up him. When Khan opened his eyes it was brighter than before, he felt the gentle breeze blowing, and a fresh smell of nature instead of his burnt flesh. He got up and felt no pain in his body, but he couldn¡¯t feel the power he had attain from the battle. He looked at his body and notice his body was that of a child around the age of 5-7. He was surrounded by trees and wild life that was similar yet different from the ones the ones he knows. Did the ritual sent him to a different area? Instead of eternal youth, did it send him back to being a child? In the end he didn¡¯t really care at all about finding an answer. He lost everything he worked for and the one he loved. He just laid there. Hours went by. Night came and he slept in the cold. Khan was coughing from being out in the cold. He was younger so his body isn¡¯t as strong anymore, but he still didn¡¯t care. He just laid there looking at the sky waiting for death to come. He heard voices nearby coming closer to him. ¡°Let¡¯s find flowers for mother Kelsey!¡± ¡°Yes Master!¡± ¡°No call me Shiro!¡± ¡°Yes Master Shiro!¡± ¡°I give up!¡± ¡°Why?¡± ¡°¡. Nevermind lets just find flowers!¡± ¡°Kay!¡± It sounded like two young girls talking to each other Khanh could hear soft footsteps come closer and closer. The two girls look at Khan who laying on the floor ¡°What are you doing?¡± Asked the young cute girl with blonde hair and blue eyes ¡°Master he¡¯s sleeping!¡± replied the other young girl who has black hair and brown eyes Khan just looks at them and they stare back. This continues for another 20 minutes without a word being said. ¡°He looks lazy! Let¡¯s carry him back home!¡± ¡°Master, Your Mother will get mad, but will you help me carry him?¡± ¡°Yes!¡± The girls decided to take Khan home as if he was a stray animal. They both pick up holding one end of Khan as if he was a piece of log. Khan doesn¡¯t do anything and just let them do as they please as they carry him home

Chapter 1 - Fake Hero As Khan stared into the blue sky he was thinking about Rin death and the ¡°if¡± scenarios that could¡¯ve changed the outcome of whatever Rin lived or not. ¡®If I just stayed in bed, then I would¡¯ve be able to protect Rin¡¯ ¡®If I taught Rin marital art like she ask, maybe she could¡¯ve protected herself till I came back to the room¡¯ ¡®If I kept my guard up, then I would have been able to detect the assassin before he attacked¡¯ The more he thought about it, the angrier khan got and started to blame Rin death on himself. He knew thinking about it wouldn¡¯t change anything, but he didn¡¯t know what to do or think about. At first when he woke up yesterday he went into a depression all day and not wanted to do anything. When night came the tears just poured down his face wouldn¡¯t stop until he fell asleep as he thought about Rin and the memories of the short time they spent together. In the morning when he woke up Khan just couldn¡¯t cry anymore and went into denial trying to believe that this was a dream and that this can¡¯t be happening to him. When the girls picked Khan up to carry him to their home, he began asking himself questions such as: ¡®Why did this happen?¡¯ ¡®What if I did this and that, maybe it would¡¯ve made a difference¡® ¡®Who is to blame?¡¯ Anger begun boiling up in khan, but who is he to direct his anger at? The assassin sent just to kill Rin is dead Yaza who sent the assassin is dead Should he be mad at himself for not stopping Yaza before this happened? He knew Yaza was up to something, but he didn¡¯t make an attempt to figure out what his mentor was planning. Khan just happily spent those 2 years under house arrest with Rin while training. He felt like his head was going to blow up. He didn¡¯t know how to cope in this situation as this is the first time he felt extremely sad about someone death. He was raised in an environment where death was a common thing since he was kidnapped as a baby. No matter where Khan went there would just be people always dying. He didn¡¯t even feel a thing about their deaths. So why should he be sad over one death? Shouldn¡¯t he be sad about the thousands of men he personally killed himself? Or the hundreds of thousands of men that he sent his men to kill? Khan tried to justified himself by saying he never killed when it was unnecessary, but did that really make a difference? He never harmed anyone who was innocent, but in the end he was still killing men and women of the other nation armies who had were just protecting their home country. They fought to protect their families. Khan fought because he ordered to. ¡°Ahhh!¡± Khan screamed at the top of his lungs not wanting to think anymore. ¡°Kyaa!¡± screamed the girls in unison from the sudden scream. Khan was dropped to the floor as the girls fell back from being startled. ¡°You scared me!¡± Shiro screamed at Khan The other girl Hana who was Shiro¡¯s maid started to softly weep from being startled Khan didn¡¯t reply back to the girl and laid there still staring into the sky The girl just looked at Khan and pouted ¡°Ok Hana it¡¯s break time! Let¡¯s find some flowers for mother!¡± Shiro says to Hana. ¡°Okay!¡± Hana replied quietly while wiping off her tears with her arms. The girls skipped around Khan picking up flowers off the ground. When they finished they came back to Khan with flowers in their hands. ¡°Hana help the boy sit up!¡± Shiro says to Hana ¡°Okay master!¡± Hana responds back to Shiro while giving her the flowers Hana helps Khan up into a sitting position with Shiro holding the flowers in front of him ¡°Look! These are the flowers that we got for mother! Aren¡¯t they very pretty?¡± Hana excitedly says to Khan while holding out the flowers toward him. Khan doesn¡¯t respond back, but just nods ¡°Look he responded Master!¡± Hana says happily in response to his nod Shiro just puts on a big smile ¡°Here we picked some out for you too!¡± Shiro says while holding out some flowers for Khan Khan just stares at the flower and then looks back at Shiro. She just stood awkwardly waiting for him to grab flower ¡°Please take the flowers; we got them just for you.¡± Shiro pleaded with a puppy face Shiro¡¯s puppy face reminded Khan of Rin¡¯s puppy face whenever she wanted him to give her a massage or cuddle longer before heading off to train. He felt himself struggling to resist against her adorable puppy face. Khan finally grabbed the flowers and stared into the ground avoiding her gaze. ¡°He took the flower! Hehe¡± Shiro said to Hana Hana didn¡¯t respond back to Shiro her face was frozen in place. Khan felt her hands trembling on his shoulders. ¡°What¡¯s wrong Hana? Shiro asked as she turned around to see what was causing Hana to freeze in fear. In the distance was a lone wolf prowling toward them. The wolf had grey fur with a scar going through one of its eyes. Shiro dropped the flowers and her legs began to trembled ¡°Hana run with the boy!¡± shiro pleaded in desperation ¡°No master I will never abandon you!¡± Hana replied Hana grabs Khan and pulls his to face her. He saw tears and snot pour down her face. ¡°I have to stay with master, you have to run away!¡± she begged him in a wobbly voice. She got up and went to Shiro side. Even in the face of fear the girls still thought of each other and were willing to sacrifice themselves for a boy they just met. Khan was moved by this scene. He never had anyone protect him like that. Everyone always looked up to Khan as almighty. They never felt like they had to protect him even during assassination attempts during the war, but here these two girls who were around the age 6-9 with no Ki would lay down their lives for him. He couldn¡¯t deny it, but his pride was hurt. He was one the greatest master who reached a level of Ki Mastery that no one ever reached. He never felt so pathetic in his life; yet he also felt happy to have someone to lay down their lives for him for the first time. Khan got up, he made his resolution. ¡®I¡¯ll sacrifice my life instead so these young girls ca-----¡° Before he can finish his thought his eyes became fixated with Hana hands. She had her hand raised up facing toward the wolf as it inched closer to them. ¡°[Fireball]!¡± Hana screams out at the top of her lungs A small ball of fire formed around at the palm of her hand and flew toward the wolf. The wolf doesn¡¯t dodge at all and the fireball flew past the wolf and hits the tree behind it setting it on fire. Shiro and Khan stared in disbelief at Hana Khan was shocked at what had just came out of her hand as it didn¡¯t feel like Ki Shiro was shocked at the fact that Hana casted [Fireball] with her eyes closed If this was practice Shiro would¡¯ve laughed till she started crying, but this wasn¡¯t really the moment to do so. She raised her hand toward the wolf just like Hana had done. ¡°[Ice Shard]!¡± She screamed. A small shard of ice formed from the palm of her hand and flew at the wolf. The wolf charged forward to them as the [Ice Shard] flew toward the wolf, but dodged by jumping to the left avoiding projectile. The wolf was too fast for the either girls to cast another spell. Khan ran past the girls and lunged toward the wolf. The beast opened its jawed waiting for Khan to get within range of its fangs. It took a fierce bite at Khan expecting to shallow up the kids head, but only got air. Khan barely dodged by predicting the time and attack of the wolf, but he was able wrap his arms around the neck of the wolf and lock the jaw of the beast by squeezing his legs around it. Khan tried to reinforce his body with Ki, but failed. He was able to feel the Ki, but just couldn¡¯t do anything with it. He was barely able to hold to the wolf head as it tried force him off by swinging its head violently. The wolf ran to the nearest tree swinging its head at full speed into the trunk. Tree barks fell to the ground from the impact of Khan¡¯s body hitting the trunk of the tree. Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. He heard the cracking of his bones. It was so painful he wanted to scream, but he was trained as a child to never scream no matter how much pain he was going through. Khan didn¡¯t loosen up his grip on the wolf as he mind began to fade. He subconsciously released Lightning Ki into the wolf before fainting.
Khan looked around in confusion. He was in his mediation pose in the tent that had he prepare for the night before the final battle against the countries Halze, Yamal, and Poratory. His tent was just how he remembered it. There was a mat on the floor to meditation on, queen size bed on the left side of the wall, his sword and spear in the right side of the room on the rack, and commander uniform and battle armor hung up neatly next to the weapon rack. ¡®I was just fighting the wolf, what¡¯s going on?¡¯ Juki walked into the tent with two soldiers following behind him. ¡°Major Juki reporting in.¡± Juki states as he salute to Khan ¡°Juki you¡¯re alive!?¡± Khan said in shock. ¡°Commander this isn¡¯t the time to be joking. We have an emergency!¡± ¡°Major Juki what is your report?¡± Khan responds; deciding to follow along. ¡°The enemy army is bigger than we thought and the enemy has hostages, which includes the princess Rin!¡± ¡°Major Juki prepares all units to march out. We¡¯ll begin the offensive in a few hours!¡± ¡°Commander we should w-------¡° ¡°Major Juki, who do you think you are talking to right now? Do I have to repeat myself?¡± ¡°No Commander!¡± Juki exited the room with the men following behind him. Khan couldn¡¯t believe what was happening. First Juki is alive, but Khan killed Juki 2 years ago when he tried to rape the princess of Gayle Second Juki told him that Rin was still alive and held captivate by enemy forces Khan got up equipped his black battle armor and wore his long sword on his right side of his waist. With his left hand he picked up the long black spear with a special black steel tip and rested it on his left shoulder. He exited the tent unwilling to wait any longer to see Rin. Khan mounted the black stallion that was always prepared in front of his tent being watched by a non-officer soldier. His camp site was the biggest out of the other generals since Khan led the main forces. The tents were laid down side by side with the officer¡¯s tents located in the middle of the camp. Soldiers were hastily moving toward the front line and saluted to Khan as he rode past them. When Khan reached the front line that battle had already unexpectedly begun There were explosions of the different Ki elements all over the battle field. The bodies were piling up while men were continuing to swarm from both sides endlessly. Major Juki and other officers saw Khan and rode up to him to pay their respect to an higher ranking officer by saluting. ¡°Major Juki Report¡± Khan screamed with a thunderous voice ¡°Commander, the enemy has launched a surprise attack while we were preparing formations. The battle is currently even.¡± Juki reported in a toneless voice ¡°Continue to insure that all men get on to the battle field while I personally lead the troops on the battle field myself!¡± Khan commanded Juki He rode off to join the battle with thousands of cavalry troops following behind. The earth rumbled as they charged straight toward the enemies. Khan unsheathed his sword to his right hand while he held his spear in the other hand. He charged the sword and spear with [Lightning Infusion] granting them lightning attributes. Enemy troops started retreating from the cavalry charge while arrows were fired from enemy lines to stop the government army from chasing The barrage of arrows filled the skies blocking out the sun, but that didn¡¯t stop Khan from continuing his charge. Every time he swung his weapons he would release a [Lightning Wave] that would send a Lightning wave in an arc going straight to where ever direction he swung at. Enemies were falling from the hundreds every time he swung his weapons. The few that remained were picked off by the cavalries following behind Khan. An enemy cavalry came charging from the northeast. Khan held his spear forward locking his arm in place bracing himself for impact. He couldn¡¯t use [Lightning Wave] in that situation as the one that led the enemy cavalry was also a master class. He would¡¯ve just blocked Khan¡¯s attack with his owns. When the two cavalries collided Khan¡¯s spear rips right through the enemy master spear piercing right into his heart. Khan didn¡¯t stop there and continued to hold his spear in place piercing 2 more men behind him. There were three bodies stuck on the spear so he just released the spear and continued to swing [Lightning Wave] with his sword. The remaining cavalry broke off from the loss of their commander and tried to retreat, but were slaughtered from the incoming cavalry that was still charging at top speed. Once Khan reached to the top of the enemy lines he couldn¡¯t believe what he was seeing. There were young child and women holding the fallen soldiers crying. Even with the momentum of the cavalry reduced from going uphill. He still couldn¡¯t stop and ran through the lines of the women and child. He heard the screams as they were trample over and picked off by his cavalries. Khan felt a pain in his heart that he never felt before, but he couldn¡¯t just stop because of that. He needed to see Rin no matter what. They continued on to the enemy fortress with no resistance. He dismounted in front of the fortress and entered without any enemy forces to confront him. When Khan made it to the main hall he was in disbelief as what was happening There were three [Lightning Barrier] surrounded by the same formation in the castle The first barrier had Rin standing in the middle The second had the Shiro and Hana crying in the middle holding each other The third barrier was much more powerful than the other two and inside was Yaza chanting ¡°Rin!¡± Khan screams out He flashes in front of the cage using [Lightning Flash] ¡°Don¡¯t worry my love I¡¯ll save you!¡± Khan says to her desperately ¡°No save the girls!¡± Rin pleaded to Khan ¡°I can¡¯t¡ I have to save you I can¡¯t lose you again¡± ¡°Why don¡¯t you listen to me? You have to save those girls!¡± Juki comes up from behind ¡°Commander we have to stop Juki, if he finish this ritual he will be killing hundreds of thousands citizens in the major cities¡± Juki reports to Khan tonelessly Khan couldn¡¯t take the risk. Yaza has himself in a high level [Lightning barrier] while Rin and the girls were in weaker barriers that he has a high chance of breaking by force. He couldn¡¯t do it; he didn¡¯t care about everyone else. What if he attempted to break Yaza barrier and failed then Rin would die! Khan ripped through the [Lightning barrier] with his bare hands and picked Rin up in a princess carry. He looked at the girls one more time and the pain in his heart grew heavier. ¡°You¡¯re no hero!¡± Rin screams at Khan. She slapped him and everything went black. When Khan opened his eyes he was in the bedroom that he stayed with Rin. He was lying in bed with Rin sleeping next to him. ¡®Was this all a dream?¡¯ Khan thought to himself He touched her face with his fingers and kissed her. She woke up and had a sleepy face. ¡°What¡¯s wrong baby?¡± She asked while half asleep ¡°Nothing my love¡± ¡°Okay! Well just know I¡¯ll love you and I¡¯ll always be here¡± ¡°Thank you my love, I¡¯ll always love you too¡± ¡°Goodnight my fake hero¡±

Chapter 2 - Guilt "Ahhh!" Khan screamed at the top of his lungs as he woke up from his nightmares. "Kyaa!" The girls screamed in unison in response from khan''s sudden scream. He sat up with his body drench in sweat while panting heavily while staring at the girls who were on the side of the bed he was lying in. Khan looked around he noticed wasn''t in the forest anymore. He was in a modest room that had a small room with a desk, twin size bed, and a dresser. The girls both jump at khan wrapping their arms around him, holding him tightly. "You¡¯re finally awake!" Shiro screamed in happiness with tears pouring down her face. Hana doesn¡¯t say anything, but Khan can also feel her tears dip down his body. He couldn¡¯t help, but feel happy because this was the first time anyone ever cried for him from an injury. During his training for the government and deployment in the war, no one ever cried or felt extreme joy for Khan after surviving a life threatening injury. They would just either yell at Khan for getting injured in the first place or just shrug it off as if it was a normal thing and send him back to training or the battlefield after he barely recovered. Yaza was the worst offender out of all of them. During the war Khan and Juki was requested by another high ranking officer to help escort him to meet double agents they had placed in the enemy army. The truth was that the high ranking officer was actually a sleeper agent for the enemy army who was activated during the start of the war. Khan and Juki were deemed as future high potential dangers so the Officer used this chance to ambush them using the escort mission as a cover to get rid of Khan, Juki, and the double agents. Then he would return to enemy country with all the government information after the ambush as he was under the suspicion of espionage. The mission was a failure for the enemy because Yaza was sent to secretly follow behind and was able to stop the enemy from successfully killing Khan and Juki. Juki came out with just a cut on his arm. All the double agents were killed before they could do anything. Khan was stabbed from behind from the Officer, but barely dodged just enough to have him miss the heart. When Khan was on the floor bleeding out with Juki was trying to patch him up. Yaza just laughed and stepped on Khan¡¯s stomach saying how weak he was for being almost assassinated. Rin was the only who truly cared Khan, but he never got injured when he was with her since he was under house arrest. If someone did want to injure Khan they would require at least 2 people who were at master class. The longer they embraced Khan¡¯s happiness soon faded into sadness. His heart felt like it was sinking into the darkness. He remembered in the dream he had chosen to save Rin over them even when she asked him to save the girls instead. They would willing to sacrifice their lives for his, but he just forsaken them. ¡®It doesn¡¯t matter it was just a dream, what matters is that they¡¯re alive now.¡¯ He tried to justify himself. The girls stopped crying and stared at Khan intensely with their eyes still slightly red. ¡°You saved us from the wolf. You¡¯re our hero!¡± Shiro said to Khan. ¡°Yes our hero!¡± Hana said in response to Shiro. Their faces blushed red as they continue to look him in the eye looking for a reply from Khan. Khan couldn¡¯t respond because he felt his heart sank even deeper from the word Hero. In the dreams he remembered Rin telling him he was no hero and that he was a fake. It shouldn¡¯t have affected him because he never truly tried to be a hero. He only followed orders and did what he could to strive for victory so he can survive another day, but the word stuck to him. He couldn¡¯t stop thinking about it. Breaking the awkward silence Shiro grabbed both of Khan¡¯s hand and pulled him out of bed ¡°Let¡¯s meet mother! I¡¯ve been telling her about you and she wants to see you too!¡± Shiro said in excitement Hana doesn¡¯t say anything and looks down to the ground with a sad expression. ¡°Wait!¡± Khan screams, remembering his injury from the wolf From the force of Shiro pull he fell over on off the bed pushing Shiro on to the floor. He felt something soft and warm pressing against his lips as he was directly on top of Shiro. With full force she smashed his cheeks with her open palms. Khan rolled over off of Shiro, but what surprised him the most was that he felt no pain from the injury he had receive from the wolf when he was slammed against the tree. ¡°Too early!¡± Shiro screamed with her voice trembling as her cheeks turned bright red. Hana cheeks also turned slightly red and looked away from the scene that just unfolded in front of her. While avoiding Khan¡¯s gaze Shiro grabbed one of Khan¡¯s hand and pulled him up to head out the room with Hana following along Outside the door Khan was able to quickly glance out the window on his right side. He saw that they were on the second floor surrounded by the forest. The halls were quite spacious with simple art work covering the walls with 5 doors including the room he was just in and stairs that went to the first floor. Khan guessed that Shiro might be a minor to mid class noble judging from the house and also the fact that She has a maid to following her. When they reached to the end of the hall, you could tell the room was the master bedroom as it had a double door. Shiro let go of Khan¡¯s hand to push open both the doors before running inside of the room. Khan walked into the room with Hana following behind looking down at the ground. The room was much larger than the room Khan was in earlier. It had a large white desk, two large white dressers, a closest for the dresses, and 3 windows allowing the sunlight to brighten up the room. He walked across the room to the King size bed with beautifully crafted brown wooden frames. On the bed the sheets were pure white set perfectly with no winkles as if it never has been used much. You could say her mother was a beautiful lady. She had blonde hair and blue eyes just like Shiro with a beautiful smile that can win the heart of many men. If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. ¡°Khan this is my mother Rona! Isn¡¯t she pretty? Introduce yourself to her! Also Hana don¡¯t forget to say hi too! She says she misses you.¡± Shiro said to them while pointing toward the bed. ¡°Hello Madam¡± Hana said as she bowed respectfully by bending both knees with her left leading and right directly behind the left. ¡°Hello Madam, My name is Khan. It¡¯s an honor to meet you. Khan said respectfully following along with Hana. A man came up from behind that appeared to be in his 50¡¯s around the height of 5¡¯11. He had long blonde hair, blue eyes that had a buff build with the aura of a seasoned warrior. ¡°Miss Shiro, dinner almost ready so go wash up with Hana. Let your mother rest.¡± The man said to Shiro and Hana. ¡°Ok! Bye mother! See you in a little bit Khan!¡± Shiro says. Shiro ran out the room with Hana. ¡°Let¡¯s talk in the other room.¡± The man says to Khan They exit the room closing the door behind them. The room they enter was across the room where Khan first woke up. The room was fairly large, but was still only half the size of the master bedroom. The man sat on the queen size bed while he gestured Khan to sit across from him using the chair from the desk. ¡°My name is Russell Rom, I¡¯m Miss Shiro bodyguard.¡± Russell says to Khan while looking at him intently. ¡°My name is Khan La.¡± Khan replied ¡°Where are you from?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know¡± ¡°Why you were in the woods nearby¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know¡± ¡°How old are you?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know¡± Russell stared at Khan as if he was analyzing him ¡°During the fight with the wolf Shiro and Hana casted a ball of fire and shard of ice. Can you explain that in detail to me?¡± asked Khan. Russell expression loosens up becoming friendlier ¡°That was magic. We can talk more about it later with my wife. Seeing that is your first time witnessing magic you¡¯re most likely a commoner boy who got abandoned by you family in the middle of the woods? Russell asked ¡°Yes.¡± Khan lied ¡°You¡¯re lucky then, that isn¡¯t the first time it happened. We found three other children who weren¡¯t fortunate as you. They either starved or froze to death. The forest is usually safe from monsters¡± ¡°What about the wolf?¡± ¡°I talked to a hunter in a nearby village and he took the blame for the wolf coming into this area. They hunted down the pack of wolves in the village area, but that one barely got away and ran to our forest to take refugee. ¡°I see. How did I survive the attack?¡± ¡°I was out looking for Miss Shiro and Hana. I saw smoke nearby and guessed it was most likely Hana because she knows fire magic. When I found you guys it seems that you were somehow able to weaken the wolf Shiro killed it with her [Ice Shard] magic. We carried you home and you¡¯ve been asleep for 3 days after I healed you. ¡° ¡°You healed me?¡± ¡°Yes I know holy magic and healed your wounds.¡± ¡®Magic shouldn¡¯t exist. Is this a different world then? Not only did I age backwards it seems that I was teleported to a different world It most likely has to do with Yaza spell then. It was something I¡¯ve never seen and it seemed like he sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives to complete it. I¡¯ll use [God¡¯s Meditation] to see if I can figure anything out. After I finish talking to Russell¡¯ Khan thought to himself. ¡°I¡¯m sorry I don¡¯t know if this is something I should be asking about, but-----¡° ¡°You want to know about Miss Shiro mother, am I correct?¡± Russell interrupted. ¡°Yes I want to know.¡± Khan replied ¡°Her mother was killed about 2 months ago. Shiro hasn¡¯t accepted that her mother is dead. Miss Shiro is a very young girl at the tender age of 7 so it¡¯s understandable that she needs more time than an adult would, to cope with her loss. Shiro substitute the portrait to be her mother and we all go along with it hoping that she will accept her mother¡¯s death soon. ¡± Russell said with a sad expression. Shiro was the same as him she loss someone very dear to her too, but not only that she only 1/6 of his real age was still willing to protect him while he forsaken that kindness. Khan¡¯s heart sank even further and felt like it hit rock bottom. He was so ashamed of himself. He felt like a piece of shit. Was this guilt he was feeling? Was it because of his pride that made him feel like this or because of the time he spent with Rin? He wasn¡¯t exactly sure. These feelings and emotion wasn¡¯t something he started to develop until after the war. Khan traveled the world to see the results of his actions and saw all the pain and suffering because of him. When he met Rin that was when he started to develop the fastest, but was cut short when she was killed. The reason why he wasn¡¯t able to develop feeling such as empathy and sympathy as a child was because he just wasn¡¯t raised in the right environment. When Young children were learning to play with other kids, he was covered in the bloods and guts of other kids when their bodies exploded from [God¡¯s Meditation]. Khan couldn¡¯t worry about their deaths as he was struggling to survive and learn how to perform [God¡¯s Meditation] before the age of 7. If you didn¡¯t the technique by the age of 7 they killed you in front of the other children. It was horrible, but he couldn¡¯t do anything about it. ¡°Russell I¡¯m not feeling well I¡¯m going back to the room.¡± Khan said in a sad tone ¡°Go get some rest; I¡¯ll call you when dinner is ready.¡± Russell replied Khan went back to the room. He sat on the bed and activated [God¡¯s Meditation]

Chapter 3 - Ki Khan sat on the bed in his meditation pose with the door locked. He activated [God¡¯s Meditation] allowing him to reach the highest concentration level he can reach. This originally allowed him to feel the Ki in his surrounding and within his body, but now he wasn¡¯t sure what was going on. He felt his Ki surrounding his body as usual, but there a second energy completely surrounding him as if it was sucking him in. This second energy was something he has never seen before, is it the magic energy that Shiro and Hana were using? If Khan was to compare this magic energy to something, then it would be the ocean. The baby blue energy was calmed as the ocean and vast where he couldn¡¯t see the end. In comparison to Ki, they would be completely different as Ki is colorless so the only way to feel it is from its nonstop wave like movement, but the Ki never flow out past a certain range, which depended on his Ki Class. The reason has to be that he was in a different world that he is able to feel this energy. Can the people of this world feel Ki too? There was no way to know unless he meditated near someone, but just because they were humans doesn¡¯t mean they develop completely the same way. Before Khan attempted to do anything with the energy he wanted to put together all the information he knew about Ki and [God¡¯s Meditation] Using the new and old information on Ki and how too much Ki can cause the Ki center to explode. These are the theories Khan came up with It could be possible that Ki is from the body instead of the surrounding. Ki can be considered life energy. The Ki center to hold Ki is different from person to person. Majority of the population is born with one, but in the time period Khan lived in no one had their Ki center already activated at birth. The body will always retain a certain amount of Ki according to how strong your body for it to function properly, but usually not too much as Ki energy is very powerful A small droplet of Ki is enough for a normal citizen. Once activated the Ki center will act as a secondary storage that allows you to control the Ki according to your level of mastery. This is rather difficult as you have to master the first stage of a meditation technique and survive it. Some people can still die from even opening up a single gate if they were unfortunately born with either an extremely small or no Ki center, which is rare in the older generations, but is perfectly normal for the newer generation. The reason why the might Ki flow outwards is possibly that through time the human body gotten weaker and started rejecting the powerful Ki. The human society had grown powerful over the thousands of years killing off a majorly of the dangerous predators. With the increased in population, technology, and less dangers the new generations required less strength every year. If you think about the danger of having your Ki center from exploding from too much Ki, then through natural selection it would be better for the body to push out the Ki. The question that Khan is stuck on is how is the flow of Ki out of the body is initially determined. Is it determined by how strong your body original body is plus the current level of your Ki center? Khan has never found anyone who released more Ki than he did, but it doesn¡¯t mean they couldn¡¯t get to his level. There are two ways to influence the size of your Ki center The first is Train your Ki by practicing martial art that required Ki usage consistently, which is extremely slow compared to [God¡¯s Meditation] The second is meditation technique depending on how many Ki gates you have opened. Only a few royal families or ancient sects had access to mediation techniques that were better than the 1st steps. For God''s Meditation] his knowledge is purely based on his experience as he''s the only know person to get to master level of [God''s Meditation]. The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. [God¡¯s Meditation] - A technique meditation/breathing technique that allowed you to reach the highest level of concentration, which allowed you to sense Ki. Razita was said to be the creator by the historians, but research from the government confirmed that he wasn¡¯t the creator. He found it the technique and claimed it as his own, but didn¡¯t mention the origin where he found the technique. There are currently 3 known stages, which are trainee, advance, and master. Trainee - This stage is the activation stage where your gateways are permanently open allowing the entry of Ki. Ki will continuously flow into your body. The Currently [God¡¯s Mediation] is the highest known technique that opens up a largest amount of Ki gates compared to other techniques. This is extremely dangerous as too much Ki inflow will cause the Ki center to explode if it isn¡¯t able adjust and grow to the Ki inflow. Advance - As you continue to perfect [God¡¯s Mediation] the pain will go away and you will be able to sense and control Ki more easily. You can control if you allow Ki to come in or not, which allows you to sense Ki and your Inner sense as you don¡¯t have to focus on the Ki inflow anymore. Master - The current final level, in which you have advance control over the Ki and can refine the Ki to be more compacted causing it to be stronger and efficient. This causes the Ki to swirl around you instead of the Ki trying to pour in.. The final conclusion would be that Ki is the natural energy from the body while magic energy might be part of the environment because of the way it flows. Khan can always figure out more the magic energy when he talks to Russell and his wife ''My head is going to blow up, If only there were access to better research on Ki and it''s orgin'' Khan complained to himself He decided to test the magic energy a bit to see if he can do anything to it. Khan cleared his mind of thoughts. He tried to suck in the Magic energy as if he was doing the same to Ki. It was a slow process, but he was able to suck in the Magic energy with Ki mixed in. He was able to refine the Magic energy along with Ki. He kept a slow pace trying to move the energy into his body. When the magic energy moved into his Ki center, it went wild. He felt a pain that was worse when he was first sucking Ki through [God¡¯s meditation]. Khan lost his ability to control the flow of the Ki and energy. It began wildly pouring into his body with the pain gradually increasing. He wanted to scream at the top of his lungs, but held it in. The two energies clashed against each other in his Ki center trying to one another out. If Khan didn¡¯t do anything the possibly of his Ki center exploding was very high. He tried to force the flow of energy from coming in, but was only able to cut it off by half giving him only a few more minutes before his Ki center overflowed. His body became drenched in sweat, his breath was heavily, and the pain had spread to his entire body. He was in so much pain. He felt like his Ki center was ripping apart. Khan wasn¡¯t able to keep [God¡¯s Mediation] activate , losing his ability to control the influx of Ki and magic energy. He felt his Ki center overflowing in energy as it can¡¯t keep up with the overwhelming amount of energy pouring in. His mind faded into the darkness from the pain.

Chapter 4 - Paranoid ¡°Khan open the door please, it¡¯s time for dinner!¡± Shiro yelled through the door. Khan had locked the door before activating [God¡¯s Meditation]. Shiro didn¡¯t have the key to open the door so she repeatedly knocked on the door, but got no response from Khan. Shiro was extremely worried about Khan as he had just recently woke up from 3 days of sleeping. She decided to get the key from Russell to unlock the door and ran back downstairs to get the key. Khan slowly woke up from the ruckus she had causes. He felt like his head was splitting into two, but was able to sit up with no issues. He felt no more pain from the influx of Ki and Magic energy pouring into his Ki center. He wanted to know the reason why, but to get a precise evaluation of what¡¯s happening within his body he would have to active [Gods meditation]. Khan didn¡¯t want to take the risk because he almost just had died. ¡®¡..¡¯ ¡®Almost died¡¯ those words kept repeating in his head as he was able to thinking much more clearly. ¡®Almost died? Shouldn¡¯t I be dead instead? Is this another nightmare? Or is this hell where I¡¯m going to relive a reoccurring horror scene.¡¯ He became paranoid. Khan didn¡¯t believe he should have survived from his Ki center overflowing. He looked around the room, checked under the bed, checked inside the desk, and looked outside the window. Khan found nothing out of place. He decided to slap himself with full force to see if he can feel pain. He slowly raised his right hand and slapped himself as hard as he could. From the force of the powerful slap, his body flew to his left where the window was. His body smashed through the window and wall, falling from the second floor. Khan¡¯s fell into a tree head first breaking his fall before he hit the hard ground landing on his right shoulder. Khan could hear bones cracking from the fall. He was in pain, but it wasn¡¯t as bad when his Ki center was overflowing. Lying on his back Khan was barely able to stay conscious as he looked at the hole in the second floor he had made. ¡®They invited me to their beautiful house, but all I did ruin it by smashing up the wall!¡¯ His mind was all messed up from breaking the fall with his head against the thick tree branch. He saw Shiro run to the edge of the hole and looking down at him. ¡°Ah! Khan! I¡¯m coming to help you, don¡¯t die on me!¡± Shiro screamed while waving her hand desperately at him. She ran out of the room running back downstairs to get Russell. Khan couldn¡¯t understand what she was saying. ¡®What¡¯s wrong with her, why is she waving at me like that? She trying to say hi to me, maybe I should say hi back. Hi Shiro¡.¡¯ Khan passed out. When Khan woke up he was in a queen size bed in a bigger room this time. Shiro and Hana were crying on the bedside next to him. Russell was standing in front of Khan with a woman with a small frame who had a gentle motherly look around the age of 50 with blonde hair with blue eyes wearing a robe. The pain from the fall was gone. It seemed like Russell had healed Khan again. ¡°Who did this to you!?¡± Russell asked. ¡°My right hand.¡± Khan replied. ¡°Right hand man? Someone is trying to kill you that close to you?¡± Hana said with a hint of fear on her face. ¡°Who is this right hand man of yours!? You brother? Best friend? Guardian? Cousin? Father? Grandfather? Aunt? Uncle? Sister? Ex-teammate? Love Rival? Bully? Neighbor? Ex-girlfriend? Ex fianc¨¦? Ex-wife? Childhood friend whose madly in love with you? Who is it!? Tell me now!¡± Shiro screamed in anger, not making sense anymore. Shiro struggled for air as she winded herself from talking too fast and much at once. ¡°I thought you were a commoner, who are you really?¡± Russell asked Khan, demanding for an answer. Shiro climbed on to the bed and wrapped her arms around Khan embracing him tightly with Hana taking the same action as Shiro. ¡°No! It doesn¡¯t matter I¡¯ll protect Khan no matter what!¡± Shiro screamed at Russell. Khan just stared at them as they took this the wrong way and overreacted. He seriously just meant his right hand had causes the accident. He wasn¡¯t sure on how to explain this to them or even they would even believe him. Khan decided to keep what actually had happen a secret. ¡°I¡¯m sorry, but I never said man after right hand and when I said right hand it was just a bad joke on my part. I don¡¯t actually know what happened.¡± Khan said nonchalantly Shiro blush as she looked away staring into the wall. Hana blushed and covered her face in embarrassment. Russell just walked out of the room. The woman who was next to Russell just giggled watching their reactions. ¡°May I ask who are you madam? Khan asked to change the subject. ¡°I¡¯m Shilla Rom, Russell wife.¡± She replied with a smile. ¡°I see, would you be able to teach me about magic whenever you¡¯re free?¡± ¡°Yes I can explain to you it tomorrow and we can check out your magic status.¡± ¡°Magic status?¡± ¡°It¡¯ll explain the magic you¡¯re compatible with and how much mana you have, but let¡¯s talk about that tomorrow. Let¡¯s go eat dinner. Meet us downstairs when you¡¯re ready¡± ¡°Ok thank you.¡± Shilla left the room leaving Khan alone with Shiro and Hana who were still blushing in embarrassment. ¡®They were so embarrassed from their outburst they forgot to ask me what actually happened. Russell will probably ask tomorrow.¡¯ ¡°I¡¯m sorry Shiro and Hana.¡± Khan said ¡°Don¡¯t leave me.¡± Shiro replied She looked downward blushing avoiding Khan¡¯s gaze while tugging at his sleeves on his right arm. Hana doesn¡¯t say anything, but grab his left arm sleeve and nodded as she wiped her tears. ¡°Let¡¯s go downstairs, I¡¯m hungry.¡± Khan spoke to them The girls just nodded. They got up leaving the room in silence. When they headed downstairs, the house had a huge living room with a fireplace, study room filled with shelves filled with books, medium size kitchen, and a dining room. It was a very modest house, that wasn¡¯t too overbearing and good size for a large family. This house was fit to be a minor noble house to live in or a mid-noble vacation house. Khan went to the dining room where Russell and Shilla were waiting. The long dining table that could fit 12 people was prepared for 5 people with the food already on the table. Shiro sat on the edge of the table, Khan sat next to Hana with Shilla and Russell on the opposite side. If Khan was to describe the food, then he would feel pretty bad to have done so because it would be basically insulting the cook. ¡®You would assume someone that is able to have a body guard, maid, personal magic teacher, and a modest noble house. She would at least have decent food, but I¡¯m sure I can make better food with one hand tied, eyes blinded, and alcohol levels that would make a man piss himself when he asleep.¡¯ Khan appetizer was a lettuce salad with oddly cut tomatoes. The sauce for was pretty much lemon juice and salt. It was so sour Khan wanted to use Lightning Ki to make sure it doesn¡¯t kill anyone. He saw that Hana had a huge pucker face from the lemon sauce being too strong for her. He couldn¡¯t deny it was amusing, but didn¡¯t laugh as he didn¡¯t want to offend Shilla. Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. For entr¨¦e it was an extremely dry steak covered in lemon juice and salt. If Yaza had just one bite of this steak he would¡¯ve court-martial Shilla for attempted murder. When desert came Khan feared for his life. It was a plan cake with lemon shavings on stop. You could say it was rather the most unique cake he has ever had in his life. It was a well-made cake with the right amount of sweetness and moistness. The problem was the lemon shaving on top and inside the cake ruined the taste of the cake. How can you make something so perfect and mess it up so easily. Khan managed to finish all the food, but he doesn¡¯t know if he can take anymore of her horrible dishes. Maybe if he destroyed all the lemon it could increase the quality by a small amount. Russell looked at him expecting him to say something about his wife cooking. ¡°Isn¡¯t my wife¡¯s cooking the best!?¡± Russell said with a high level of excitement while faking a smile. ¡®Russell probably goes down to the kitchen at night and eats while he wife isn¡¯t looking¡¯ Hana just looked down at the table still struggling to finish her salad with a pucker face. Shiro was picking out lemon shaving from the cake. Shilla looked dejected from the lack of response from Khan. He didn¡¯t want to lie to her about her horrible cooking, but he didn¡¯t want to offend her either. ¡°To be honest----¡°Khan was cut off from Shilla suddenly sobbing. ¡®I didn¡¯t even say anything yet.¡¯ ¡°My cooking is horrible right? No one here won¡¯t tell me how bad it is, but no one else can cook so they I try my hardest to make good meals!¡± Shilla said as tears were pouring down her face. ¡®How did this escalate so fast?¡¯ ¡°I¡¯m a pretty good cook. If you want I can prepare tomorrow¡¯s meal.¡± Khan said with good intentions. Shilla started sobbing harder ¡°Are you saying a child cooking is better than mine?¡± Shilla said hysterically She got up taking the empty dishes to the kitchen. ¡°Sorry Khan, Shilla is usually a calm person, but when it comes to cooking. She can get out of hand sometimes. When our daughter was a very young child she used to tell Shilla how bad mommy cooking was 5 days out of the week on average. It traumatized her and she became self-conscious about her cooking.¡± Russell said. ¡°It¡¯s ok, but let me cook tomorrow. I really do have some cooking skill.¡± Khan replied. ¡°I can¡¯t decide that, I¡¯ll talk to Shilla for you.¡± ¡°Go take a bath up and get some rest. We can talk about what we can do with you tomorrow for sword and magic training.¡± ¡°Ok, thank you.¡± Khan left the table and went upstairs to take a bath. The bathroom was as big as the kitchen with a large bath that can fit 6 - 7 people. The bath felt great as Khan sat there thinking about the last few days. He felt like the last few days were extremely long. When Khan first came here, he didn¡¯t want to do anything and just grieve the loss of Rin. He got sucked in by the pace of the young girls. Compared to a large majorly of people he was much stronger mentally from the way he grew up. It took him 2 days to quickly go through the phases of grieving faster than most people would. Still Khan couldn¡¯t deny that he couldn¡¯t stop thinking about Rin and how sad he was about her loss. Khan just stared into the ceiling relaxing his mind. ¡®I have to figure out why my own slap almost killed me Next is what is my going to be my course of actions from now on? First is Determine what I¡¯m going to do in this world. Second is Figure out my Ki and magic situation. I won¡¯t do anything tonight until I figure out more about magic. ¡® Khan increasingly felt increasingly more tired physically and mentally as he continues to sit in the bath enjoying the warmth of the water. His eye lids started to feel heavy. He got up and pack on the sleep wear given to him by Russell, which was just an overly large shirt that looked like a dress on him. When Khan walked outside the bathroom Shiro and Hana were waiting for him in their night wears. Shiro grabbed Khan¡¯s hand and pulled him toward her room, which was the same size as Russell. ¡°You¡¯re sleeping with us from now on! Your is room unusable.¡± Shiro said. ¡°No.¡± Khan bluntly replied ¡°Yes.¡± ¡°No.¡± ¡°Yes!¡± ¡°No.¡± ¡°Hana do like we practiced earlier!¡± Hana and Shiro held him from both sides. They gave him the irresistible puppy face. Khan was always weak to the puppy face because of Rin so these two girls would have an effect against Khan, but not as strong as Rin puppy face. He tried his hardest to resist their stares by closing his eyes. Both of the young girls forced his eye to be opened by lifting his eyelids with their fingers. Khan wasn¡¯t going to fall no matter what like the tower is Uriz, which was destroyed by Yaza in a drunken rage after Khan was promoted to commander. The girls decided it was time to use their secret weapons. They pinched each other in the butt as hard as they could so tears would come out from their eyes. It was hard to resist these two adorable girls with their puppy faces added with tears. Most men would have fallen by now, but Khan is not one of those men! ¡°No.¡± Khan said with no remorse. The girls actually began to start crying as they have failed to persuade Khan with their ultimate puppy faces. Khan felt a bit of pride in himself because he saw defeat against the first puppy face against Shiro. Shilla came upstairs with Russell after finish cleaning up. The girls had a talk with Russell and Shilla beforehand to allow Khan to sleep with them. It took them 2 hours, but they were able to receive their consent. Shilla guessed what was going on decided to get revenge and help out so she can go to sleep. ¡°Khan if you don¡¯t sleep with them I won¡¯t teach you magic and won¡¯t allow you to cook tomorrow.¡± Shilla said. ¡®She Ice cold¡¯ ¡°Fine.¡± Khan replied in defeat. Shilla and Russell went into their rooms, but he could hear them laughing at Khan through the door. Shiro and Hana cheered in happiness. Khan laid there in the middle of Shiro bed. Shiro was sleeping on his right arm with Hana on his left arm. He wasn¡¯t so sure on why the girls were so attached to him besides saving them from the wolf, but they shouldn¡¯t be this attached. Khan decided to ask Russell tomorrow. He laid there in bed for 2 hours thinking about Rin even though he was extremely exhausted. Khan shed a few tears before his eyes finally shut from exhaustion.

Chapter 5 - Ki body Early in the morning Khan was woken up by Shiro clutching tightly to him. She had tears pouring down her face as she slept. ¡°Mother please don¡¯t leave me alone.¡± She cried in her sleep. With his left hand he pulled her head closely to his chest. He gently rubbed the back of her head until she calmed down. This is something Khan has done for Rin many times when she cried over the death of her family. He remembered when they first met it was awkward as Yaza gave them their congratulations for their marriage. At first they didn¡¯t talk to each other because she was afraid of Khan because of what Yaza has done to her family. During the first few months Khan always had his guard up in case Yaza decided house arrest wasn¡¯t enough for Khan. Through his senses being heightened from enhancing his body with Ki, he was able to hear Rin cry constantly when she was by himself. Khan only felt a small ounce of pity for her when he first heard her cry. It gradually became annoyance as she kept crying, but he decided to bear with it assuming that she will stop crying as time cured her pain. Rin didn¡¯t stop crying at all, instead it got worst to the point Khan wanted to just threaten her with death to stop crying. He didn¡¯t have the heart to threaten her as he was the one who had helped Yaza gain the power to overthrow Rin family. It wasn¡¯t only Rin who suffered from Khan¡¯s action, but the entire world. Khan saw the destruction he had caused as he traveled the world where his major battles had taken places. The population suffered from their infrastructure being destroyed, No aid from the government for reconstruction, and corrupted officials who were previously in the army that oppressed the people. His values that was beat into him by the government as a child was slowly unraveling as he began asking himself a question he never asked him something before. ¡®What is the reason for my existent?¡¯ Khan wasn¡¯t sure anymore as he was raise for the sole purpose of help conquering the world. When the conquest had been completed he wasn¡¯t sure what to do anymore. He reached to the level where no one has ever reached in the history of the government. When Khan looked down he just saw nothing, but darkness. He was decorated as a hero and given thanks from the disgusting people of the capital and corrupt royal family. When he was outside of the capital everyone avoided him out of fear. His name alone made them shake in fear. He knew this, but didn¡¯t blame them for doing so. Using his connections he was able to find his family. When he found them it wasn¡¯t a heartwarming reunion that most people would have after meeting a lost long relative. When Khan had found his family he met with his dying mother and two crippled brother with their wives and kids. His family was once a noble family, but his father was killed when he searched for Khan when he went missing as a baby. The government killed anyone who disobey them with no remorse. They disgraced the family and sent them into poverty. His brothers were injured when bandits attacked the town in search for food and resources. The government had strictly rationed food and resources to the citizens to build up for the War causing a shortage. His mother went insane years ago and cursed at him calling him the devil who took away her husband. Khan¡¯s brothers trembled in fear when finding out their youngest brother was the supreme commander of the government army who had ruined their family. They didn¡¯t look Khan in the eye when they talked and called him my lord instead of addressing him as their brother. He decided it was best to just walk away not looking back at all. He wasn¡¯t sure what he was expecting by seeing his family before he saw them. After he left all he felt was a bit of disappointment and no sense of sadness. In the end the only thing Khan got out of the 2 years of traveling the world is that people will either look like disgusting pigs or look like the walking dead. Not wanting to think any more about the past Khan decided to get up to go find out what¡¯s going on with his body. Yesterday he woke up with no injuries from his Ki center overflowing, but was surprised on how much stronger he was. He wanted to check yesterday, but didn¡¯t want to risk the chance of his Ki center going berserk. Khan gently pushes the girls off of him to get out of the bed. Shiro was sleeping peacefully after Khan gave her the small hug. Hana had a smile on her face as drool was still pouring down her face. Khan checked the part of shirt where Hana was sleeping on and saw that she left a huge wet mark on his shirt. ¡®She¡¯s drooling like master Yaza when he was waiting for his favorite food.¡¯ Khan just gave a small smile at the girls who picked him just like a stray dog. He left the room to go outside to check his Ki center. On the way out he met Russell who was standing outside the door as if he was expecting him. ¡°I heard someone moving in the room I figured it was you from your footsteps.¡± Russell said with a serious tone of voice. ¡°I was going outside to get some fresh air for a bit.¡± Khan replied ¡°Ok make sure you¡¯re back in 2 hours. Breakfast should be ready by then.¡± ¡°Is Shilla cooking?¡± ¡°Yes! Isn¡¯t she the best cook?¡± ¡°¡.¡± Khan just stares at Russell with a bit of fear showing on his face after remembering yesterday dinner. ¡°Kid I¡¯m still alive aren¡¯t I? You¡¯ll get used to it.¡± Russell says trying to reassure Khan. Russell gives Khan a pat on the back as he walked downstairs to head outside of the house. In the front yard the house had a road leading outside to the main road. They were located in the forest so it was just endless trees surrounding them. Khan sprinted down the road to look for a secluded place. His body was noticeably much lighter than when he fought against the wolf. Not only that he felt most of his senses were much stronger than before. He could see, hear, and smell further. Even when he infused his body at the age of 15 his body wouldn¡¯t normally be this strong. The reason much is what happened to this body yesterday. It should explain why his slap was so strong when it wasn¡¯t normally 1/4 of the strength before. He could have easily destroyed the wolf if he had this strength. A mile down the road came 3 white carriages that looked extremely expensive being pulled by 6 white stallions, 2 for each carriage. The carriages stopped as they saw Khan approaching. ¡°Who dares to block the prin-----¡° The driver screams out to Khan, but was cut off ¡°Shut up! Did I let you talk you little man!?¡± The man screamed at the driver. The man who stepped out of the carriage was a short fat boy around the age of 12. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He wore jewelry all over his body showing off his immense wealth. ¡®He called the driver little man even though he half his height.¡¯ Khan knew that just from looking at him this kid was going to take a lot of patience to handle. ¡°Prince Mano you shouldn¡¯t go out like that, you have to be careful of assassins.¡± A man said that was coming out of the same carriage. The man was around his 50¡¯s and looked as strong as Russell. He was a bit shorter, but when it comes to his build it wasn¡¯t any short of Russell¡¯s. ¡°I¡¯m the prince of Romati, who dare to attempt to assassinate me? Jun you¡¯re getting too old!¡± Prince Mano screams out loud. ¡°That¡¯s exactly the reason why you have to be careful. That kid that blocking us could be an assassin for all you know and he could have people nearby to ambush us.¡± Jun said to try to convince the prince Mano to get back into the carriage. ¡°Shut up you think this young boy wearing an oversize shirt as a dress can hurt me!?¡± ¡°Yes he can if he was a trained assassin; you can¡¯t judge the books by its cover!¡± ¡°Hahaha he still smells like the head maid milk. He couldn¡¯t even hurt me even if I gave him a sword to do so!¡± That wasn¡¯t true at all. Even without a sword Khan could easily rush over and snap the prince neck like a twig. Khan just watched them argue whether he was an assassin or not. If this was the war zone, they would be dead just by stopping in the middle of the road. If you¡¯re a high value target you don¡¯t stop no matter what. There are some experts Ki practitioners who could hit a target in the targets moving below a certain speed at 100% accuracy. ¡°Prince Mano please just listen to m----¡° ¡°Shut up little man!¡± Prince Mano screamed at the pleading man. Khan decided to walk off the path into the forest to not have to deal with this person known as Prince Mano. ¡°You! Where are you going!?¡± screamed Prince Mano at the top of his lungs. ¡°Bathroom.¡± Khan replied. ¡°Ok! Come back right away so I can tell you about myself! Khan walked deep into the forest until he lost sight of the Prince and his carriages. He found a large boulder to sit on to meditate. He activated [God¡¯s Meditation]. Khan was shocked to see the changes that had happened to his body. His Ki center couldn¡¯t be called a center for Ki anymore. It was only filled with the magic energy known as Mana that Shiro told him about before they went to bed. His entire body became the Ki center after it was pushed out from the Mana in his original Ki center. It wouldn¡¯t be impossible for this to happen as it was the body was where the Ki came from. Khan was able to learn that Ki is released from the body because it simply can¡¯t handle the Ki. That was the reason why the people of his world had to open up the Ki gates to force the Ki back into the Ki center to hold the Ki within, but the truth was that the Ki center possibly wasn¡¯t originally made to hold Ki. This could explain why Ki center in his world was slow to grow and hard to train. There were 3 reasons why Khan was able to reach the master level at half the age compared to the average masters First was his Ki center was abnormally large to begin with. Second was [God¡¯s Mediation], which allowed him to suck in Ki at an unbelievable rate and condense the Ki to be more efficient and compact. Third would be that some people Ki center will stop growing forcing some people to only use their Ki when only needed. The way people know if their Ki center stop growing is when they start to feel pain or discomfort in their Ki center that never goes away. For some this is like death letting them know it¡¯s slowly coming for them. If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. It seemed like what stopped his Ki center from exploding was that the Ki that was filling up his body was surrounding the new Mana center. The Ki is trying to reenter the Center, but the Mana is pushing it outwards. It was a constant struggle between the two energies. This could potentially be a good thing as it will help his body train passively as they are both constantly active, but this can been seen as a bad thing because it can limit the amount of power he can use due to the constant struggle between the two. Khan couldn¡¯t deny it, but he was excited about this new discovery. It was a new world, he as a master who has reached the peak has entered into. He only felt a small amount of joy when he reached grandmaster Ki class, but only because he was able to break Yaza [Lightning Barrier] to kill him. If he had broken it to grandmaster when he was with Rin at the time, he definitely would¡¯ve been overjoyed. That happiness from advancing would¡¯ve been short lived because he was much happier with being with Rin. The only reason why he had decided to attempt to advance to the next level was because of Rin. He told her how he felt about the wall that he has hit for a long time. She told him that he¡¯ll regret not finding out what it was, but he told her it didn¡¯t matter to him. Only Rin mattered to him at the time. She understood that even though he didn¡¯t want to admit it, he certainly had pride as a master. Khan wasn¡¯t used to thinking for himself, but because of Rin who constantly kept him questioning himself and asking him questions about different topics. She tried to break the brainwashing that the government had on Khan. It was already unraveling after the war, but at snail pace. Once he was with Rin his personality took a huge hit. He didn¡¯t hate it since it was something different from the norm and also the rewards she was giving him made it even more worth it. Rin however did regret once they installed the training room, Khan would not come out from a few hours to lasting a few days. She the one who encouraged him to begin training again and then she got mad at him when he trained too much. Khan just couldn¡¯t understand her at times. He decided to test out his new found body. Khan got up into a standing position looking at the blue sky. Khan smashed his fist into the boulder beneath him with all his might. Small cracks formed from his punch going down the boulder. Khan couldn¡¯t believe his strength even after seeing it for a second time. Next was to check his Ki Class level. The best way to do this is follow the standard guide that was used throughout the world to measure the current capable of the person. Of course not everyone was able to follow the guide exactly, but it is human to want to have something that you can use to measure up to. Khan pictured the table he had seen in the government military guidebook.

Lightning formed around Khan¡¯s body as he converted his Ki into Lightning element. Khan was extremely shocked at how efficient it was. The conversion was much quicker than before and the Ki used was barely noticeable at all. Khan used [Lightning Punch] without charging his hands and was able to successfully perform the move on the boulder leaving much large cracks. [Lightning Punch] wasn¡¯t as strong as he thought it would be, but the activation and cost were much quicker and lower than before. This is something that would be sought more than power because activation speed and cost reduction are generally much harder to train. The reason for this is because you have to use your Ki center as the middle man to supply your body with Ki. This means the cost to convert will be higher and the length it takes from your Ki to your outer body will require Ki to bring out the Ki and as it is being carried the Ki loses energy on the way out. If you have the body as the Ki center then you can cut out the middle man and supply the Ki for your techniques directly from the source. This is the most efficient way to activate your techniques. Khan decided this time to charge his hands to see the increase in damage from [Lightning Punch]. He charged his hand with Lightning Ki in his right hand. Lightning statics were forming around his hand. The lightning didn¡¯t go anywhere above his wrist and there was a limit on how much he could charge. He smashes his fist into the boulder and completely blew it away. His attack was never this strong when he first used it. Next he used his Intermediate skill [Lightning Pulse] where he smashed his fist together doing an area of effect attack around his body where a dome of Lightning would go outwards from his fist. The ground around him showed the force pushing everything from him to outward direction in a circle. It wasn¡¯t as strong as he expected it to be. The cost was very high and he felt like it drained him of half his Ki. This wasn¡¯t too bad since he was able to perform the attack without hurting himself and burning out all his Ki. Khan martial art known as Savage Lightning Style created by Yaza was a unique style. It didn¡¯t follow the guideline to the standards of the normal population as he is able to produce a minor AOE attack at Intermediate level. The drawback is the danger that the lightning can hurt the user instead or even kill them, which happened to one of the survivors. The Style is new so that meant that Khan is able to produce new techniques with his new found body that would¡¯ve otherwise been impossible. Everything he has known and followed in the past about the standard isn¡¯t going to apply to him now because of his body becoming the Ki center. Not only that, but from the amount of Ki he has and the level of attacks he can already perform. It looks like Khan is early intermediate level. Khan didn¡¯t even reach intermediate level until the age of 15, but now he¡¯s around the age 7 with the same amount of strength with half the age. His body was burning with excitement. Based on the standard table that was used the base line in the government guide. Khan would be achieving the impossible.

For the average martial artist the average age would be 35 years old to reach intermediated. The reason it took so long to advance from basic to intermediate is because the difficultly to convert Ki to an element of your choice. That is when most of the martial artist would stop advancing. Before Khan was known as a genius, but what about now? He couldn¡¯t deny that this was extremely exciting to him because of the endless possibly he has laid out in front of him. Khan decided to follow what Rin said in his dream after he didn¡¯t listen to her the first time, which was to protect the girls. The decision to pick Rin gave him two nightmares back to back and he wasn¡¯t taking another chance. He didn¡¯t want to admit it, but he was a bit paranoid after those dreams. He just never had dreams like those that were so real. It was frightening. Khan decided to walk back to the house. As he walked back he looked to the sky. It was much clearer than before, but not from his eyesight being heightened, but he just felt a bit better than he did when he first came here. He was still very sad from Rin¡¯s death, but this was the first time he ever felt excited about his new powers. Khan wasn¡¯t sure if it was normal to change emotions this fast. It could¡¯ve been the girls, his new power, or the new world environment, but he decided to just follow the path and see where it takes him. He still wish that Rin was here to share his new found happiness.

Chapter 6 - Shes dead Not PR
When Khan got back to the house, Prince Mano had arrived, parking his carriages outside the house with 2 royal knights guarding the carriages. Khan approached the house, but his path was blocked off by the two men. ¡°Halt, you are not allowed to enter the house unless you have permission from the Prince or you have to proof that you¡¯re a resident here!¡± The man yelled. ¡°I¡¯m currently a guest here under the care of Shiro, Russell, Shilla, and Hana.¡± Khan replied. ¡°How dare you address the royal princess and her Royal guards without using their honorable titles? How disrespectful! An assassin like you can¡¯t fool us. we are trained to see through your disguise as a commoner boy.¡± ¡°You can ask Princess Shiro yourself then.¡± ¡°You can¡¯t deceive us with your trickery. We know you¡¯re trying to separate us so ambush us one by one. You despicable assassin! Prepare to die!¡± ¡°Don¡¯t regret your next decisions.¡± ¡°[Warrior Strength]!¡± The men scream out in unison. Their body began to glow a faint blue as they readied their swords to attack Khan. Khan reinforced his body with a layer of Ki as they charge at him. Both men swing their swords in a downward aimed at Khan¡¯s head. Standing in the same position, Khan just grabs both of their swords with one hand each. The men were shocked from what had just happened. This young boy had singlehandedly stopped their attack with his bare hands. They couldn¡¯t pull their swords away from Khan¡¯s grips no matter how hard they tried. Khan charged lightning Ki into his hand allowing it to flow into the swords following the arms up into the men metal armor. Their bodies shake from being electrocuted from Khan¡¯s lightning. Smoke came off the armor as they fell to their knees first then falling forward with their faces planted into the ground. Khan only used enough lightning to know them out with only causing minor burns that can easily be healed with magic. The men weren¡¯t weak, it was just Ki body strengthening and Ki body reinforcement that Khan had and was capable of was at a level that couldn¡¯t be matched easily in this world. They used a magic known as [Warrior Strength] to double their strengths, but that still wasn¡¯t enough to match Khan. Khan had his body strength entirely by Ki, which double his strength. When he reinforces his body with Ki then it will stack with his already doubled strength. The level that his body strength is increased by depends on the level of his Ki Class and natural body strength. If Khan fought with Russell, then the possibly that of them having an equal match in strength is high. Of course if you added experience then Khan¡¯s experience would dwarfs Russell only because Khan lived his entire life on learning the art of warfare and constantly fighting in the battlefield to conquer the world. That doesn¡¯t mean Russell isn¡¯t extremely strong to the standard of the government army. It¡¯s just no one could compare to Khan when it came to strength and experience. Khan knew that Shiro was special because of Russell. To have an experienced and powerful guard as Russell you would need to be someone special. Russell had the body of a seasoned warrior, he walked with confidence and experience, but most importantly he could sense Khan when he was walking in the room from outside the hall way. That level is awareness isn¡¯t normal even for Khan. Russell must have had gone through a lot of assassinations attempts. Khan just didn¡¯t expect Shiro to be a princess of the country instead he thought of her as possibly being a high noble or daughter of a powerful organization. If this is true, then that must mean she is either hiding from assassins or was exile in a location like this with the minimal staff she currently has. He proceeded past the royal knight¡¯s bodies and into the house where the Prince Mano and his men were on one side of the dining room with Shiro on the other side. When Prince Mano saw Khan entered, he intermediately stood up with his finger pointed at Khan. ¡°You! I thought you were dead. You were gone for 3 minutes so we determined you were dead and left!¡± Prince Mano said to Khan as if he saw the dead come back to life. ¡®The royal family I conquered during the war had an idiot just like this. I used him to sneak me and my men into the castle wiping out the entire royal family in an instant.¡¯ Khan evaluation was already low to begin with at their first meeting hence why he just walked away, but now it hit rock bottom. He had distaste for royal families and politicians as they tend to waste his time sucking up to him. Khan was a straight forward person as he wanted the person to be direct and concise to not waste his time. This is something that wasn¡¯t commonly used in politics, but more in the military as they followed a command hierarchy. Khan would¡¯ve walked away by now as it was a better choice than mindless killing. Normally people would get extremely angry if they were flat out ignored, but Khan was one of the greatest masters of his time. They were happy that he didn¡¯t kill them instead. This meeting with the Prince was something that had to do with Shiro so Khan had to stay no matter what to figure out the situation between the two and the next course of actions that would be taken. Shiro thought Prince Mano had done something to Khan. She couldn''t control her anger. ¡°Brother, what did you do to Khan?¡± Shiro said to Prince Mano demanding an answer. ¡°Nothing I just met him on the road and decided graced him with my presence.¡± Prince Mano replied. ¡°Graced him with your presence? You tried to rape him!? Hana asked Prince Mano showing a frightening expression. ¡®Here she goes again.¡¯ This wasn¡¯t the first time Hana had misunderstood something. ¡°Brother you filthy you demon, you tried to get me, Hana, Shilla to be your wives and now you¡¯re forcing Khan!?¡± Shiro screamed at Prince Mano. Hana started crying with tears pouring down her face. Prince Mano face turned to an extreme red from the embarrassment. ¡°Shut up you daughter of a whore that wasn''t my plan at all!¡± Prince Mano screamed back at Shiro. ¡°You bastard don¡¯t call my mother a whore!¡± Shiro screamed back with her face burning up with anger. ¡°You should be lucky that I¡¯m willing to take you as my wife after you been exile!¡± ¡°Who would want to marry someone disgusting as you?¡± ¡°Disgusting? You don¡¯t understand what perfection is.¡± ¡°What is it then, you monster?¡± ¡°It¡¯s me! I am perfection! I¡¯m the Prince of Romati, I have money, I¡¯m the best looking man ever, and I¡¯m extremely strong. Everyone wants to love me, even the men too! You don¡¯t understand my generously you whore of a daughter.¡± Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform. Support original creators! ¡°¡.¡± There was an awkward silence made with Prince Mano royal guard Jun covering his face in embarrassment. ¡°Ok now that¡¯s over let¡¯s eating some dinner.¡± Shilla said cheerfully. ¡°What do you mean that¡¯s just the end of that?¡± Khan asked Shilla ¡°This is just a normal sibling fight that constantly happens between them when they lived together at the castle. Prince Mano isn¡¯t a man who will take action.¡± Shilla replied. ¡°Shut up women and bring food out, I¡¯m hungry!¡± Prince Mano screamed at her. Shiro and Russell had their fists clenched from anger. If they could, there would be a possible chance that the prince would¡¯ve been unable to talk anymore or just dead by now. Khan decided to get back at the prince with small pranks later for the things he said to Shiro. They all sat down at the table with each party across from each other. Prince Mano had 6 royal knights leave the dining room and wait in the living room while they have breakfast. Khan was praying that today¡¯s breakfast wasn¡¯t as bad as yesterday¡¯s food. When appetizer came out Khan just wanted to just kill everything within a mile radius. The appetizer was just a lemon cut in half with a spoon and a cup of hot tea. Hana who just finally stopped crying looked like she going to cry again from the food. Shiro was still burning with rage didn¡¯t even look at the food bought out to her. Prince Mano and Russell both ate the lemons and gulp down their hot teas while Russell was still eyeing Prince Mano for bad mouthing his wife. When entr¨¦e came out it surprisingly looked normal. It was just two eggs cooked sunny side up with a toast on the side. Before Khan tried it he wanted to see Hana¡¯s reaction. Hana is a pure and innocent girl who has no problem showing her emotion. She the age of 9 who was raised to be Shiro maid, but compared to Shiro she still wasn¡¯t as mature. It wasn¡¯t a bad thing, but some people found her clumsiness and free spirit rather cute. It could ask help increase the mood in the atmosphere depending on the situations too to reduce the tension. When Khan looked over to Hana she was shaking in fear from the normal looking plate of eggs and toast. He decided that it would be best to not eat this if Hana feared for her life from one plate. Khan decided to give his Lemon plate and entr¨¦e to Prince Mano. Of course the Prince didn¡¯t reject the offer of more food. Khan pushed the plates to cover the edge of the table with the lemon on the edge of the plate. Khan charged a small charge of Ki into his hand trying to condense it as much as he can. For what he was about to do needed a large amount of concentration for the high level manipulation he was about to pull off. The prince stuffed all the eggs and toast in mouth from Khan¡¯s plate in one go. It was a disgusting sight to see, but what going to happen next was going to be even more disgusting. Khan controlled the small lightning to zip across under the table into his half lemon that was given by Khan. The lemon blew up from the insides and lemon juice flew into the princes eyes. From the impact he screamed in pain while spitting out all the food from his mouth on to Jun who sat next to him. His eyes were burning from the lemon juice, but no one but Jun cared about what was happening to the Prince as they were more focused on how that had happened. Shiro was giggling from this sight of the prince crying from his eyes burning. Of course it wasn¡¯t lethal to the Prince, but he was spoiled as a child never feeling any pain or discomfort. If Shiro was hit with the same thing, she would probably just cry a bit from the pain, but that was it. Shilla came out running from the disturbance. ¡°What happened here?¡± Shilla asked Jun while panicking slightly. Before Jun could answer Russell put on a serious face and gestured them to be quiet. Jun understood something was going on so he covered the prince mouth to allow Russell to concentration. The room became quiet with only the quiet sound of the prince screamed being muffled from Jun hands. ¡°We¡¯re surrounded by 100 people that are creeping toward the house.¡± Russell said quietly. ¡°Shit did they take out my sentries in front of the building?¡± Jun asked. ¡°It might have been them, we need to call the soldiers from the living room to regroup with us and escape through the secret passage.¡± Russell replied. It was actually Khan who knocked out the sentries left to guard the front of the house, but he didn¡¯t say anything. They call over the soldiers to regroup with them and head into the basement using the door under the staircase. Once in the basement Russell lit a torch with the intent to burn down the house, but was stopped by Shiro. ¡°Wait, we forgot about mother! she still is upstairs!¡± Shiro said to Russell. ¡°Princess she¡¯s dead, you know it. We can¡¯t risk any lives for her portrait. We have more at the castle.¡± He replied. ¡°No! I¡¯ll go myself!¡± She screamed at Russell. Khan grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes. ¡°I¡¯ll get her!¡± Khan said to Shiro. He let go of her hand and walked toward the stairs, but Shiro grabbed his hands to stop him from continuing. She knew the risk of going back upstairs. She knew her mother was dead, but still couldn¡¯t accept it, yet she couldn¡¯t let Khan go off to die just for a lie she had created herself. They stood there in the dark in silence. You could hear multiple footsteps entering the house searching for them. Tears poured down Shiro face as she looked at Khan. She didn¡¯t want him or anyone else to die. She reached out for the torch in Russell hand pulling both Khan and Hana hands to it. Together they lit the place on fire destroying the lie she had created within the house to feed her denial. They ran into the darkness of the tunnels sealing off the exit to deny any enemy to continue their pursuits.

Chapter 7 - What I lack? Not PR
After the tunnel was sealed by Russell to stop the pursuers from chasing them, they just ran down the dark well-crafted tunnel. Two minutes in, the Russell noticed the Prince and his men were lagging behind and signaled the group to stop. When Khan looked at the cause of the other group reason of lagging behind; it was of course the prince¡¯s fault. His breathe was heavily, face was dark red, and sweat was profusely pouring down his face. For the first time in his life he was able to run longer than 1 minute due to his adrenaline pumping from the fear of death. ¡°Tired already big brother?¡± Shiro laughed. ¡°Of course I would be. We just out ran a group of assassin. Father will be so proud of me!¡± Prince Mano replied while gasping for air. ¡°No way the only reason why we got away was because Russell lit the house on fire and sealed off the escape tunnel. You¡¯re just tired because you¡¯re lazy!¡± ¡°No I¡¯m not lazy! I take my fitness and studies very seriously I¡¯m in very advance classes at my school.¡± ¡°Oh really, I heard that you had father put you in the class using his connections.¡± ¡°Those are false rumors that are made from the commoners and minor nobles who bear jealously against my perfection.¡± ¡°If that¡¯s true, then let¡¯s see if you can run the rest of the way without stopping then!¡± ¡°I¡¯m the prince of Romati why do I have to run!? Royal guards, royal bed mode!¡± Prince Mano screams at his royal knights. Four of the royal knights stood in a square formation with their inside arms held flat out holding the person hand¡¯s that standing beside them. Jun and another royal knight picked up Prince Mano and laid him onto the four knights arms as if he was resting on a bed. ¡°Look only my royal knights have the capabilities to do this, don¡¯t be jealous at their high level of training!¡± Prince Mano bragged. Russell and Shilla looked at the royal knights with disgust on their faces. Jun and the royal knights looked away in shame. ¡°I have room for you two over here if you would like to ride on the royal bed.¡± Prince Mano said to Shiro and Hana as he patted his round stomach. ¡°No!¡± Shiro screamed and hid behind Khan holding him tightly. Hana didn¡¯t say anything, but just hid behind Khan with Shiro while trembling lightly. ¡°Prince Mano, it¡¯s clear that this space that you speak of is too small to fit you all, but no worries we appreciate your generously. I will take the burden of the girls off your hands so you can lounge in those men arms comfortably.¡± Khan said to Prince Mano. He scooped up Shiro and Hana by using both his arms to lift them up on to his back. ¡°Hold on tightly.¡± Khan said to the girls. Shiro wrapped her arms around Khan¡¯s body, while Hana wrapped her arms around his head as she was a bit taller than Shiro. Khan just looked at the Prince hoping this will keep him quiet for the rest of the trip. If the girls said no then he would¡¯ve just complained, but if they said yes, then the girls would¡¯ve complained the whole trip. Khan did this so there will be no losers, but he did have to suck up to the prince a bit. He ran off deeper into the tunnel with no issues. Everyone was shocked to see this 6 year old boy carrying the two girls. About a mile into the tunnels the well-crafted tunnel turned into a beautifully crafted tomb with designs on the wall telling the story the rise of a kingdom surrounding two brothers. It depicts their struggles as commoner¡¯s kids who were drafted into the army. It showed the two brothers becoming great generals who destroyed the corrupted kingdom that they fought for. A new kingdom was created with one brother becoming king while another brother stayed as the great general. The rest of the story showed the life of the great general and how much he was loved by his citizens, soldiers, wife, and daughter. You could also tell that he loved them very much too. At the end of the story it shows that an enemy country had attempted to assassinate the king at a royal dinner. The general had sacrificed his life for the king with his family following into the afterlife with him. The country mourned for his death and he was buried in a tomb they built out of their love for him next to the house he had lived in with his family. You could see the time and effort that was put into this tomb. It showed how much the people really loved the general. Continuing down the hall while examining the designs and artwork, the group found themselves within the lobby of the tomb. It was a large spacious room with one hall leading to the escape route, one leading outside, and a third leading to the main chambers. They were surprised that Khan was barely tired from carrying the two young girls, but Russell decided it was best to take a break. The royal guards carrying the prince were now tired from the weight of the heavy armor and Prince Mano. The double doors leading the main chambers were massive in size that would require a large amount of men just to open the doors. On the doors were the cravings of the two brothers with their swords crossed at each other. Prince Mano walked up to the door trying to push it opened, but exhausted himself after 10 seconds of pushing with all his might. ¡°Prince Mano you shouldn¡¯t do that to the General main chambers doors¡± Jun said. ¡°Shut up! I¡¯ll do what I want.¡± Prince Mano screamed back. ¡°Prince Mano please listens to me for once.¡± ¡°No, help me open this door now!¡± The royal knights hesitated at the order of the prince. This was the tomb of one of the founding brother of the country of Romati known as the greatest general who sacrificed his life for his brother the king. The soldiers were in a dilemma now. They had to chose to open the door to avoid punishment by the current highest ranking person there, but disturbing one of the greatest heroes¡¯ burial grounds instead. This man is looked up as a hero and goal for many of the young children of the kingdom of Romati. If anyone found out it can disgrace their family in the public eyes and punishment from other royal family members or high nobles can happen. The second choice would stop the prince from disturbing the general resting place, but instead incur his wrath. The punishment from the prince can ruin their livelihood and disgrace their families. This would one of the worse punishments anyone can get because it can turn a prestige family into trash that would continue on to their children. Understanding how these men were feeling from Khan¡¯s experience as a being a soldier. Khan decided to put Shiro and Hana down to confront the prince. ¡°You¡¯re being unreasonable to your men who have followed your command without a complaint this entire time.¡± Khan said to Prince Mano. The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. ¡°Shut up you commoner, you wouldn¡¯t understand how to feel to be in power like me.¡± Prince Mano replied angrily. ¡°I understand that you¡¯re a complete idiot who doesn¡¯t understand how to wield the power you¡¯re given.¡± ¡°I¡¯m an idiot? Who do you think you are talking to you commoner filth?¡± Prince Mano said as he grits his teeth. Khan doesn¡¯t say anything guessing Prince Mano will get even angrier from being ignored midway. The prince face turned a bright red with his hands clenched. ¡°Ah!¡± Prince Mano screamed at the top of his lungs. He walked toward Khan. Shiro ran in front of Khan with Hana following behind her. ¡°Stop it brother!¡± She screamed. He just kept walking toward them with his hand clenched. Khan charged a small amount of lightning Ki into his hand, letting it fall onto the ground. He manipulated the small lightning bolt to instantly flow across the floor unnoticeable to everyone into the left foot of the prince. Prince Mano lost control of his left foot falling forward with his face planting against the floor with a loud thud. ¡°¡.¡± Everyone had their jaws-dropped from the sight of the limped prince. They couldn¡¯t believe what just had happened in front of them. ¡°Prince!¡± Jun screamed as he ran to Prince Mano. The royal guards came out of shock and followed behind Jun. It seemed like he was fine beside being unconscious and the bloody nose he had from the fall. Jun cast [Heal] on Prince Mano as they carried him to the middle of the room to lie him down comfortably. Russell and Shilla stared at Khan, but he just shrugs in return while Shiro and Hana stood there trying to figure out what just had happen. Khan decided to walk toward the massive doors to take a closer look at the designs. He gently touched the door to feel the designs admiring the craftsmanship of the door. He turned around and walked toward Russell and the girls. ¡°Khan!¡± Shiro called out to him. When he saw their faces their jaws-dropped were back down again with Shiro and Hana pointing behind him to the door. ¡®What did I just do?¡¯ Khan didn¡¯t want to look behind him to see what they were staring at. He slowly turned his head at the door and quickly turned it back toward the girls. ¡®Shit!¡¯ The door had opened a bit just enough for one person to fit through the crack at a time. Khan had stopped the prince from opening the door, but instead he somehow got the door to open. He looked back at Russell hoping for an answer for this situation. When he looked at them everyone looked like they were drowsy and fell asleep instantly. Khan tried to scream out their names and run towards them, but couldn''t control the action of his body. His body turned around to walk toward the massive doors. Fog was slowly flowing out from the cracks of the door. The temperature of the air around him began to drop as he got closer to the door. Khan couldn¡¯t gather Ki to attempt to break free from whatever was controlling him. He felt like he was being sucked in to the black void beyond the door. Once he passed through the crack of the doors he couldn¡¯t see anything in front of him. The only light sources were from behind him from the lobby that was lit up by the torches set by Russell. The lights from behind him disappeared as he continued to walk into the main chambers uncontrollably. He was completely engulfed by the darkness. He couldn¡¯t see anything as the fog limited his view into the darkness making it seem like it was never ending. Khan hasn¡¯t felt this afraid in his life since he was first forced to learn [God¡¯s Meditation]. He wasn¡¯t afraid of the darkness, but he was afraid of the unknown that lie beyond it. Every minute felt like an hour as he continued into the black void step by step. No matter how hard he tried, he still just couldn¡¯t break away. His body suddenly stopped as he just stood there. He could hear the sound of duo stone door grinding on the floor as it is being opened. In front of him was a throne room that laid a large magic formation just like the one Yaza had in the castle back in his original world. The magic formation pulsed at a constant pace as his body inched toward to the end of the room. In the back of the room sat a large skeleton with plated black armor on a massive throne chair. In front of him was a large 2-handed sword stabbed into the ground. On his left and right side he had one handed swords on both sides also stabbed into the ground. The swords were completely rusted with energy flowing from the sword to the skeleton. Behind the skeleton was a large clear floating crystal. In it was one of the most beautiful women Khan had laid his eyes on. She had long white hair pure as snow, flawless pale skin, and a face that khan just couldn¡¯t find words for as he has never seen anyone so alluring and beautiful in his life. In her arms was a young girl around the age of 7-9 that looked exactly like her. The skeleton moved its head toward Khan and just looked at him with its emptied eye socket. ¡°Little man from another world you were once extremely strong and still has the potentially to become strong once again, but you have a something you lack that denies you the right to become a real man. What do you think it is?¡± A voice echoed in Khan¡¯s head. ¡®What I lack?¡¯ Khan couldn¡¯t figure out what he was lacking. Was it a type of emotions, some sort of power, or possibly an object that was supposed to be teleported with him? He thought hard about it, but nothing came up. He didn¡¯t feel like he lacked anything. He had the power and knowledge that most people hard. Beside his body being young what could he possibly lack those denies him of manhood? Khan just blankly stared at the skeleton. The skeleton slowly raised his hand toward Khan and black energy flew from the hand to the skeleton into Khan¡¯s head. His body began to violently shake as tears just poured down his face profusely. The scene of Rin¡¯s death just replayed into his head until he passed out from a mental shock.

Chapter 8 - Family? Not PR
Khan slowly woke up from his mental shock with his head feeling like it was splitting in half. In front of him the skeleton was still in sitting the same position staring at him with its empty eye socks. ¡°I hope you give me a better answer than that stupid face you gave me earlier. Now let me ask again. What do you lack?¡± The skeleton voiced echoed into his head. ¡°I lack power?¡± Khan replied without delay to avoid being attacked by the dark energy again. ¡°No.¡± The skeleton sent another black energy from his hand to attack Khan¡¯s mind. In his mind Rin¡¯s death kept replaying over again, but this time he was ready. The attack still mentally exhausted Khan, but he was able to stay conscious. Khan was on his handsand knees with sweat profusely dripping off his face. He looked at the skeleton with an expression full of rage. ¡°Fuck you!¡± he screamed at the skeleton. ¡°That was a better answer this time, but not what I wanted.¡± The skeleton sent more black energy at Khan. This time in Khan¡¯s mind, he was standing in front of Rin¡¯s dead body. She got up from the bed and stabbed him in the chest with a dagger blaming him for her death. This horror scene for Khan repeated over and over slowly breaking him down. He finally collapsed from mental shock. This cycle just kept repeating itself over again. When the skeleton hit Khan with the same vision he would be able to barely resist it, but every change up would send Khan into another mental shock. He resisted as much as he could against the skeleton, but in the end he laid there on the cold hard ground, broken. This is the first time after completing his basic training with Master Yaza that he was broken mentally. Khan just absently stared into the darkness in front of him. It felt like years had gone by since he¡¯s been in that room. ¡°Not bad. Even the strongest people I fought against only were able to resist 2-3 [Shadow Mind] used on them. You were able to resist up to 154 before being broken. That¡¯s a start.¡± The skeleton voice echoed in his head as if he was impressed. Khan slowly dragged his face through the floor with all the energy he could muster to take a look at the skeleton. Those dark eye sockets just kept looking at him as if the eyes were really there. ¡°Now let me ask you once more. What do you lack the most?¡± ¡°¡.¡± Khan didn¡¯t give a damn anymore, he decided to give up. It¡¯s not like he had a real reason to stay in this world and continue a new life. He did make a promise to protect the young girl to see where it would take him, but the truth is that there was nothing that actually motivated him to keep that promise beside his new found strength. That happiness he got from his new strength would¡¯ve just faded away within a short period of time anyways. ¡°The only thing I lack is my love, Rin!¡± Khan screamed with all his might at the skeleton. ¡°At least you¡¯re loyal. I respect that!¡± Before the skeleton could hit Khan with the [Shadow Mind] attack, Khan was able to enter into [God¡¯s meditation]. He released the control on the inflow of the energies allowing all the mana in the air to flow into his body. Since his body wasn¡¯t releasing anymore Ki he no longer had the capabilities to suck in Ki from the air, but that didn¡¯t matter as his body was now the Ki center so all he had to do was refine it from within or train it physically. The mana around Khan was extremely dense. If you were within a certain area of his body you could feel the mana moving in the air being sucked into his body. Because he was not refining the mana, the amount of mana inflow was much greater than before. He felt his Ki center fill up instantly and the pain in his body was rapidly increasing. The Ki in his body fought back with all its might to push back the mana center from expanding anymore, but the influx of mana was too much. His mana center felt like it could rupture at any minute, but he fell unconscious before that could happen. When he opened his eyes, Khan found himself in a large field of beautiful white roses with a crystal clear blue sky. No matter where he looked there was no end to the roses. In the distance in front of him he saw an unmoving figure. Khan walked toward the figure looking for some answers. Once he got closer to the figure he saw that the figure was the beautiful lady that was within the crystal holding her daughter. She was sitting on her knees on top of a white blanket laid on top of the roses. The young girl was laid down with her head on her mother¡¯s lap. They looked to be asleep as they kept their eyes closed even when Khan approached closer to them. The only thing that was moving was Khan himself as he got closer to them. There was no breeze and sound to disturb the peaceful atmosphere. It truly looked like a masterpiece painting when Khan looked at them. Khan stopped in front of them, but they still didn¡¯t open their eyes when he approached them. He reached out his hand to see if he can wake her up, but he felt someone pat his shoulders before he could do so. Looking behind him there was a tall, blonde hair, blue eyes man with a large build suited for a warrior. He resembled the man in the designs of the stories from the tomb. In one of his hand he had a large basket made for holding food. The man gestured for Khan to sit on the blanket next to the women and her daughter. The man got on his knees to gently touch the lady and her daughter on their cheeks to wake them up. Their eyes slowly opened revealing gorgeous baby blue eyes that would easily seduce most men. The little girl got up energetically jumping into the man¡¯s arms. ¡°Papa!¡± The girl screamed out. The man dropped the basket in the middle of the blanket to give the girl a bear hug. He then leaned toward the lady and gave her a kiss while the little girl was peeking through her fingers. The scene was extremely heartwarming for Khan after only seeing dark visions from the [Shadow Mind] attacks. He couldn¡¯t help, but put on a smile. They nudged the young girl toward Khan. She blushed and looked back at her parents, then back to Khan after they gave her a nod. She grabbed both sides of her white one piece and with a shy innocent look she planted her left leg forward slightly bent with her right foot following behind in the same way to respectfully bow to Khan. Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. ¡°Hello my name is Yuna Romati; I heard about you from my parents, it¡¯s nice to finally meet you. May I ask for your name?¡± She said to Khan with her face blushing darker with a deep shade of red. Khan had his breath taken away from this sight of this extremely adorable young girl introducing herself to him. He already felt confused when he first woke up in this dream-like place, but now he didn¡¯t even know what to think anymore. The girl just stood awkwardly waiting for a response from Khan who had his mind just blown up. Behind the girl the parents had a big smile from the reaction Khan had just given to their daughter¡¯s introduction. The blonde man walked behind Yuna patting her on the shoulder. ¡°He¡¯s just shy; hopefully you¡¯ll be able to have him feel more comfortable as we eat. Let me talk to him first so be a good girl by helping your mom set up the food.¡± The man said to Yuna. Yuna nodded with a smile to the man and happily went back to her mother go help set up the food from the basket on to the blanket that was laid down for them. The man approached Khan gesturing for him to follow the man into the field of roses to have a private chat while the girls set up the food. ¡°Little man, nice reaction you had there to my daughter¡¯s introduction.¡± The man said with a smirk. ¡°You! What did you do to me!?¡± Khan angrily replied. ¡°What I did to you? More like what you did to yourself before you came here.¡± ¡°What do you mean?¡± ¡°You attempted to kill yourself by bursting your mana center, but because of that I was able to gather a larger supply of mana. I was going to use only my own mana that I stored up, but because of this unexpected event we can use both yours and mine to extend the time we can spend in this illusion as a family.¡± ¡°Family? What do you mean?¡± ¡°Congratulations I¡¯ve chosen you to be my daughter''s fianc¨¦. You see I¡¯ve been waiting for a man who can protect my daughter in my place.¡± ¡°No. Didn¡¯t you think of the possibly of me rejecting you after you tortured me with your magic?¡± ¡°I only attempted test you and to break down the mental wall you created to protect yourself. The reason was so I can freely connect your mind to this world to open the link between us four, I didn¡¯t expect you to resist for so long. Also you can say that was punishment for the innocent people you killed blindly while following the orders of your country. With shadow magic I can read your bits of your memories and current thoughts.¡± Khan wasn¡¯t sure on what to think anymore, he couldn¡¯t deny that he did indeed deserve punishment for the crimes he had committed. He knew that he was always on the wrong, but that didn¡¯t matter because all he had to do was just follow orders unconditionally. He looked back at Yuna and her mother. Yuna was happily setting up the picnic while occasionally trying to be subtle with the glances she was giving Khan. He caught her eyeing him; she immediately looked away while blushing again. ¡°If you answer my questions, then I¡¯ll follow along. What happened to my comrades, why did you choose me specifically, what are your reasons for needing me to take care of your daughter in your place, and explain in detail how this world really works?¡± Khan said to the man. ¡°I created an illusion world using mana to connect our minds into one location with my shadow magic. Your comrades are completely fine; they¡¯re just asleep from my illusion magic that seep through the crack of the door through the fog. I¡¯ll tell you the reason why I choose you and need you to do this later.¡± The man replied ¡°Ok I¡¯ll accept the first two answers, and then in place of the other two you won¡¯t answer let me ask one last question. What am I lacking?¡± ¡°That¡¯s a rather easy answer that I was hoping you will find out yourself, but I promise to tell you before this illusion ends.¡± ¡°¡.¡± Khan thought about his answers deciding on how to proceed from here. The more he thought about the options he had to proceed with, the more he realized that he had none. He was stuck in this illusion magic with no control over his body that already has gone berserk from releasing his control over his inflow of mana. He would be dead without the help of the skeleton, but he also was the one who pushed him in the first place. Khan felt a sense of helplessness and his rage boiling up from this situation. This skeleton had been playing with him the entire time. Even when he began his training with Master Yaza he felt he still had control of what was going on because everything was very straightforward with Master Yaza. He was in a unknown world with very little support and knowledge. Khan decided to give in for now to see where this would take him and find out what he is lacking. ¡°Ok I¡¯ll follow along.¡± Khan said. ¡°I already know that you realized that you have no options either way so just drop the act already.¡± The man replied with a smirk. He gestured for Khan to head back to the picnic spot. The food was all prepared with Yuna and her mother waiting patiently for them. As they walked back Khan looked at the crystal clear sky. The world felt so real even though it was just an illusion. He thought about how his life became extremely complicated in such a short period of time after Rin¡¯s death. ¡®My life was comfortable and easy when I was alone with Rin.¡± Khan suddenly stopped, the answer hit him hard as if a brick was smashed through his face at full force. The answer was so simple yet complicated for Khan because this was something he never thought about. This was something that most people assumed he had and even he himself believed that he had it or more like he just accepted that it was true. ¡®Could it be that what I¡¯m really lacking is ¡¡.?¡¯
