    Prologue


    In a room, 10 minutes before an interview, three siblings are having a quarrel:


    "Why on earth am I the one doing this?" Blake Night said to the two girls in the room.


    Light: [we can''t really help it, can we? with me unable to talk, you''re the sole who can do it. unless you want to leave it to sky oneechan?]


    Blake:¡±I didn¡¯t say that, but I¡¯ve said it countless times, rather than us doing it ourselves, it would be better if we have a representant. Not only won¡¯t we have to show ourselves, but with an adult, its credibility would skyrocket¡±


    Light: [and I responded each time that we can¡¯t do that without risking of compromising all our work for that. Moreover, if we do that, we would be forced to give him some sort of influences, with is something that you don¡¯t want and lastly, what will you do if there are unprepared question?]

    Sky:¡±guys, the interview already began¡±


    Light: [it seems that we don¡¯t have anymore time to search for a representant. Let¡¯s go. And don¡¯t think of being lazy because it¡¯s a very important event for all of us]


    ¡°I know. Who do you think I am?¡± Blake said and at the same time, all windows on the room shattered. After all, despite normally being a lazy guy who never do is job of being a leader, when serious, his sole presence is even able to make his two sisters tremble (but otherwise, it¡¯s Light and sky that do everything). And even if it will destroy his image of being a lazy guy at school (whith is the main reason why he didn¡¯t do the interview), he will always go seriously for things that he consider important like this interview.

 chapter 1: an interwiew

    at 10h10, in the room, all the reporters are in a frenzy. one week earlier, all TV channel, internet, radio and phones in the world were simultaneously hacked. the hacker made the following message (that was spoken with different languages) repeat itself for one hour:


    "we have an important announcement to do; so, we would like you to make an interview in one week at 10h at the Tokyo dome to talk about the details."


    after that, it disappeared without a trace leaving the world in a turmoil: all nations accused each other of being the perpetrator of the hack, people were struck with mass hysteria with the propagation of rumours that state secrets and strategical weapons were stolen that day, and reporters and military from all over the world rushed to Japan for the day of the interview.then when the day came, in the beginning, nothing happened. after five minutes, when the reporters began to think that in the end, it''s a canular, a strong mist appeared from nowhere and when it disappeared, all the military disappeared and all the ways out have been sealed, leaving the reporters trapped. then after five others minutes of panics, at 10h10, three young people (one handsome man and two beautiful girls) with eyes catching coloured eyes suddenly appeared in the middle of them and said in English:


    "ladies and gentleman, good morning. I''m sure that all of you are here because of the announcement that we made one week ago; so let''s cut to the case:"we have the pleasure to announce you that we, in this year 2020, have made the first ever Virtual Reality game and not only that, but it''s full dive that we named: "Crystal Realm Online"""


    at that, not only the reporters but also the viewers throughout the world were shocked: some were outraged that something like that made them panic, but the majority were either curious or extremely exited to the idea of playing the game. (and only a handful understood that the reason why these three were late was to make that big entrance; but only the three siblings knew that in truth, they were truly late for the first five minutes and only the lasst five were part of their plan). then, one of the reporters stood up and said:


    "don''t fuck with us. there''s no way that it isn''t a canular. after all, scientist said that with our current technological advancement, VR will not be possible for at least another 150 years. so, it''s impossible that kids like you ma..."


    the reporter never finished his sentence because at that time, the guy instantaneously traversed the 100 or so meters separating him from the reporter and choked him with one hand. and at the same time, a strong pressure that made all the nearby people faint and the remaining unable to stand (except the choked one because the pain maintained him awake


    ???:"who do you think we are? we may be young but even if we are alone against the rest of the world, we would be able to destroy all economy, take control of all technology and reduce all military into dust. as a side note, don''t worry about the military from before, we didn''t kill them but simply transported them to the other side of the world. but back on track, even we, took three years to perfection the game and NANA, it''s AI so that it become perfect."


    during the time he said those words, he walked to the nearest wall (making all the pitiful reporters in his passage faint) and then, with a kick, broke it into pieces before throwing him out of the room. only after that did he turn around and with a different aura, changed into one that wake up all those that fainted and only at that time did everyone see that his dark purple eyes became slitted ( it returned into normal shortly after ).

    after some times where no one dared to ask questions, one reporter finally asked the first question


    reporter 1:"w-who are you guys?"


    ???:"we are the Night family; a family of three whose particular trait is our ravenous black hair and our odd coloured eyes.


    as a presentation, this little girl with long hair and bloody red eyes who exclude an intense aura of calm is Light; even if in theory, I''m the leader, in truth, she is the one who do most of the leader''s work. don''t be bothered by her expressionless face; in fact, she is extremely bothered by the fact that she can''t talk and that despite being 12 already, her body didn''t change at all from when she was 8.


    as for this shy girl with shoulder length hair and golden eyes, her name is Sky. she is 14 year old and is the core of most things in the family. she has a big complex over her eyes and her small chest so you should be careful to not gaze too much; after all, she finally came out of the house and we don''t want her to re-become a hikimori.


    lastly, I''m Blake, the leader in name of the family and who is just an useless guy"


    at these words, all the words except Blake thought:''how can you introduce yourself as the useless guy after the show that you did just a moment ago''


    (one a side note, once this interview was over, Blake was punished by his sisters, ended grounded home and had only instant noodle to eat for a week)


    then, the questions continued


    reporter 2:"you said that it''s a VR so, how is the security?"


    Blake:"in term of security, we can say that Sky did a great job. not only does it have a firewall stronger than that of the pentagon, but the encoding itself is different from the norm making it almost impossible for others to hack.coupled with a technology whose entire base is entirely different from any actual technology and a AI that analyse all data that connect in the game and was programmed to attack all unauthorised hacking with a laser attack whose cannon is directly connected with the server who is placed in a satellite in orbit around the earth, it became so that even if it''s connected into internet, it''s guaranteed fully safe. on a side note, if you plug out the capsule, you will always be forcibly logged out because the brainwave that have been redirected into the capsule will return into normal. but I must warn you that if you do that, not only will you be struck with a strong nausea but your in game avatar will remain connected in game and will become vulnerable to all sort of treat, be it other players or monsters.


    now, because I think that that was enough questions, I will now take my leave but before that, I have a last information to give you all: because of some circumstances, we will only release 1000  capsules per month to whom 100 of them will be given randomly for free and the remaining can be pre-ordered online for a price of 1000 $. you should note that because you commanded first doesn''t mean that you will obtain the capsule first because the capsule will be randomly sold to those who already commanded and only when it has been confirmed that you are among those that obtained it will you be contacted to discuss the method of payment"

 chapter 2: a lost princess

    after the interview, the game became the center of attention but with the too small amount of capsule, only the few lucky could obtain it. so, someone announce that he obtain one capsule many broadcasting companies fought to be the one to make a contract with him. so, many of the lucky ones became rich instantaneously. in London, Anne, the 16 year old princess of Liechtenstein, also want to play the game. unfortunately, she isn''t among the selected so, to console herself, she took Cathy, her friend to go shopping.


    Cathy:"princess, are you sure that it''s the good way?"


    Anne:"don''t worry, from the map, I''m sure that it''s a shortcut. and I already said to call me by my name." at the same time, she thought:''please, make it that it''s a shortcut''


    Cathy:"OK; but there''s no need to be so stubborn. after all, it''s not as if it will harm us to ask for help."


    Anne:"I already said that we are not lost."''it''s too embarrassing to admit that we''re lost even after living in this town for five year.''


    Cathy:"there''s no need to try to hide it, you know, after all, we were together for five year and even someone that see you for the first time will know just by seeing you that you''re lost."


    Anne:"you win. so, let''s ask people for direction. so, let''s go."


    after saying that, Anne began to run but then, she tripped and fall to the wall but rather than striking the wall, she fell on the ground in the courtyard big mansion.


    Cathy:"Anne, are you alright?"


    Anne:"I''m fine. where are we?"


    Cathy:"I don''t know. after you disappeared into the wall, I rushed to your side without thinking"


    at that time, a guy that became know throughout the world appeared before them and asked:


    "who are you."


    instantly,a strong pressure made it like their bones will be crushed made them shudder. seeing that, Cathy said to Anne:


    "run away, now"


    but after Anne took ten steps, Blake gave her a flick into the head making her faint. then, he said to Cathy:


    "interesting, I''ve already seen people resisting my aura but you''re the first who is actually countering it like that. so, is it a force field?"


    Cathy:"???"


    seeing Cathy not respond, Blake continued:


    "it''s fine if you don''t want to respond, after all, it''s true that revealing your abilities to the enemy before a fight"


    at that time, Sky and Light appeared and then, Sky talked:


    "o-onii san, i-it seem that they just fell though the portal. they''re not trespassers but just unlucky"


    Blake:"if that''s the case, we can''t possibly attack them. but then, what will we do about them?"


    Light:[we will see that later. for now, I think that we need to seal the portal so that they cannot flee and give them a place to rest until we found what to do with them]


    Cathy:"it''s true that we are here by accident. so, can''t you simply let us leave, we promise to not tell anyone about your whereabouts."


    Blake:"unfortunately, we can''t do that, we can always change the emplacement of our portal but even so, we can''t let you go because this portal was created so that when someone traversed it once, that person will always be able to instinctively locate all nearby portals."


    Cathy:"so, can''t you simply make it so that we can''t locate it?"


    Blake:"we can erase the spell, but only for your friend; but, as a hero, I fear that we can''t do nothing about your. anyway, let''s continue this talk tomorrow, it''s late."


    the day after, Anne woke up within a big bed and after a short while, remembered what happened and ran out of the room only to meet up with Cathy who explain to her what happened. then, after she finished, they descended to the dining room for breakfast. then, when they were half finished, the siblings came up.


    Blake:"good morning. are you ready to go back to your home?"


    Anne:"no, there''s no way that I will return home leaving her alone here. I will remain too"


    Blake:"how unexpected. we didn''t think that a runaway princess like you will lock herself in there."


    Anne:"how did you know"


    Blake:"we simply searched. but now that we know that you will remain we think that it''s better if we tell you everything.


    you see, gods did exist. born from mythology, these gods ruled the earth. these gods, from times to times, procreated with humans giving birth to the heroes. so, heroes are either peoples possessing divine blood or ordinary peoples that made great feats making them a very know so that their existence themselves were like a myth transforming part of their blood into divine blood, or even transforming them into gods.


    then, one days, the gods made a covenant to separate them from the rest of the world and at the same time separated the world into three realms:


    -the immortal realm where the gods and divines being lives


    -the human realm where the humans live


    -and the monster realm where the monsters and the demi-human live.


    because of that, contact with the others realms are very rare.


    then, the heroes, together with the magic users, ruled the world


    even so, that reign ended soon.simply because the heroes where rare.after all, divine blood remain dense only for five generations, even if resent search made by my family demonstrated that it''s precisely 2,5%, basically, the divine blood need to be preserved above minimum by making feats heroics or demonic and even then, divine blood will not awaken unless there''s a trial. but these potential heroes became nobles and by too excessive consanguinity in their marriages, became sickly so they were dispensed from doing effort; among the rest,the majority where mostly too lazy to proves themselves so their blood never awaken. and the few who were intelligent enough to not become nobility had their divine blood become too thin to awaken them.

    and for the magic users, it had fallen in disuse because the monsters to fight where not many anymore and in some areas, they where considered dangerous and sometimes where even hunted.


    even so, there were a few peoples that were able to continue surviving by forming clans. among them, the magi, even if rare if we talk in term of percentage, can be said to be considered many if we talk about numbers. after all, there''s more than a thousand clans throughout the world. but for the heroes, we are the sole clan; but rather that saying that we are the sole clan surviving, it''s more correct to say that the various clans ended up fusing together more and more until only one clan remaining.


    Cathy:"so, what does that have to do with me being a hero?"


    Blake:"that come from the fact that when children are born, they receive half the blood of each parents, so, there''s cases where the someone has enough divine blood even though their parents didn''t have it. and that''s your case so, when you awakened, you obtained three abilities even if they are all the type who are passive so, you didn''t notice it.


    Anne:"if that''s the case, then I understand why even though you are both heroes, your power are very far apart. after all, the simple concentration of your blood differs greatly. so, what''s her abilities?"


    Blake:"her abilities are actually a resistant body who made you very resistant to physical attacks, an almighty power, and a force field who reduce the powers of impending threats. in fact, if you train, you will become an incredibly fearsome warrior."


    Cathy:"so, if I train hard, I could become as strong as you?"


    Blake:"actually, it''s impossible to become as strong as us. do you remember that divine blood become denser as you made feats, actually, no matter how many feats you do, it will never go above 75%. so, those that obtained divinity where those that attained that percentage and then, received blessings from a god. but us, are an exception.


    our parents, being the two most powerful members of our clan who had 70 and 72% of divine blood,gave birth to us. but we only received part of their human blood but too many of the divine blood. because someone who has above 50% of divine blood awaken without trial, me and Sky, awakened without difficulty. even more so that I had 95% of divine blood and 20% of that blood was of draconic origin.


    and for Sky, she had 80% of divine blood and 5% of it was of draconic origin. so, when the Night was about to be born, all the clan members celebrated saying that that will surely be another genius. but when she was born, that was a tragedy. she was born at 100% of divine blood; in other words, she was born as a god. then, when she emanated her first cry, it became an extremely violent blessing that gave divinity to those having enough powers but killed instantly all those that didn''t. that''s why we are actually the sole surviving from our clan, both of us being a god.


    that''s why we made that game."


    Anne:"I don''t really see what rapport does being a god have with making the game."


    Blake:"you see, because of the barriers separating the realms are extremely strong, we can neither rejoin the gods nor go to the monsters. because of that, we are gods trapped in a world of humans, without noting to do and because we are too powerful, we risk of causing damages when being serious. so three years ago, we decided:"if this world is so boring, let''s create a game world where we can have fun." since then, we used all our resources to create the best game there is.


    Cathy:"if you are a god, can''t you make it so that there''s more than 1000 capsule a month?"


    Blake:"we would want to, but the process of making the capsule is very slow, after all, the core is a magic artefact made of an ordinary glass but that must be cut at a certain but who must be cut in the presences of a sufficient amount of my divine power. because of that, we made it one by one."


    Anne:"in mythology, gods have divine artefact that helped them. but I suppose that if they must do everything by hand, then there''s no way that you could have it. what a pity, I always wanted to see one of these."


    at that time, the atmosphere in the room froze and Cathy said to her:


    "you know, you though too loud" (with made her realise her mistake)


    but then,Light wrote:


    [a divine artefact, why didn''t we think of something like that, we can always create a machine and imbue it with the divine power of Blake, so that the machine can do the creation of the core and the imbued part will replace Blake. Sky, Blake, create a machine and once done, make an announcement saying that we will have more capsules.]


    and that''s how the number of capsule for the launch skyrocketed from 1000 to 10000

 side story: rencontre

    five year ago, there was a lonely princess. because of being the heir of the throne, she was always lonely. one day, during a donation to an orphanage, she encountered one girl who is one year older than her. becoming fast friends, Anne soon began to sneak out more and more out of the palace ( using the numerous secrets passages ). but that didn''t last. one day, she was caught and grounded home. after that, Cathy, not knowing that Anne was grounded, became more and more anxious as time pass ( she began to think that someone may have kidnapped her friend or something like that). then, in the end, she decided to search for her. so, with her preconception that her friend has been kidnapped, she searched for her into dangerous places and ended into a den of terrorists who wanted to silence her. at that time, after she decided to jump from the window ( quite dying, die trying to escape ), she was surprised to remain unscathed (unknown to her, she passed the trial of awakening power) but soon forget it because the terrorists followed her. but when she was shot she wasn''t injured ( at that time, all that was in her head was that she was very powerful.)


    This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.after she gained in confidences, she defeated the terrorists easily and continued to search her friend.


    after two more month of research (in with she defeated many criminal and less criminal organisations and became more know, with made her more powerful), she finally found out that Anne was just grounded up and after she attacked the palace and kidnapped her friend, and they disappeared together
