    Part 1

    My name is Alan a librarian, a 25 years old young man who is about to die.

    I was the second son of a wealthy and influential merchant in the kingdom, I had only one sibling, an older brother who was 2 years above me. I didn¡¯t really remember my life as a baby, but I still remember clearly when I was three years old.

    The day after my birthday, I had a high fever, a really high one, my parents were panicked and called a family doctor to come and checked on me.

    After checking my pulse and heartbeat, the doctor shook his head with a sour look in his face. he then explained that I had an incurable illness, no man, medicine nor magic could cure my illness, he then dropped the bomb by saying that I wouldn¡¯t be able to survive after my 13th birthday.

    My parents who heard that didn¡¯t want to give up tried many things to cure my illness, spending countless amount of money to call many famous doctors, healears, and buy various expensive medicines.

    Thanks to their efforts, my life had been extended for another 12 years.

    And after my 10th birthday, I decided to leave my house and go to the the capital.

    I heard there was a great library in the capital where various books from all over the world gathered, and maybe in there I could find a way or at least a clue to cure my illness.

    My parents didn¡¯t against me going there after I explained my reason, they just nodded their head and blessed me.

    With my parents connection and influence, I became a librarian in name so that I could live in the library and had any access to any sections of the library.

    I spent all day long, reading various books in search for a way to cure my illness while pretending to do my work as a librarian, though sometimes, I really did my work as a librarian.

    One day after, when I was looking for books about ancient dragon magic in the forbidden section, I found a book talking about a secret magic of reincarnation.

    When I read the title, a flash of inspiration passed through my mind.

    If my illness can¡¯t be cured, then how about reincarnating myself? Throwing away this body and moved to a new one.

    After that I began my research like a mad man, I must learn this magic before my time was up.

    A woman in a maid outfit suddenly appeared next to the old lady and started talking to her in a strange language that I had never heard before.

    The old lady pouted and then the maid took me away from her.

    I stopped screaming and tried to calm myself.

    The young man turned his head to where the girl pointed at, he then looked at me with glittering eyes and wide smile on his face.

    The man started yelling like a mad man as he ran toward me.

    Now I understand what had happened to me.

    The reincarnation magic seemed to have work perfectly and now I was reincarnated as a baby.

    But where I am reincarnated to?

    The girl who was lying on the bed must be my mother and the young man who kept yelling like an idiot must be my father.

    The previous head which was my grandfather, passed away a year before I was born because of illness and my father who was at that time still 15 years old took over the family head.

    The scary old lady from before, just as I thought, she really was my great grandmother from my father side, her name was Helena Whitestar.

    And my mother name was Jessica Whitestar, she was the daughter of Redsun family, which was also a high class noble, she married my father two years ago.

    This castle was divided into three building, main building, left wing and right wing, with six floors up and two floors underground.

    The Main building was where the ball room, audience room, library, dinning room, main kitchen and many other rooms that I didn¡¯t know what were they for, but my parents room were on the top floor of the main building.

    After a few minutes, I found what I was looking for, History of Sylfania Kingdom.

    I asked the maid to take it for me because it was too high.

    From the ancient civilization that was found, this world estimated to be created around 100 million years ago and was divided into two parts, inner and outer world.

    Inner world was a name of an area where many races could live safely, because the monsters who lived in this place were much more weaker than the one that lived in the outer world.

    There were three continents which were an inner world.

    Human Continent.

    Nature Continent.

    Beast Continent.

    As for the outer world, no one really know how many continent there were in the outer world because no one dared to explore too far away from the inner world. The farthest you went from the inner world the stronger the monsters would be.

    And the two continents that had been found in the outer world were.

    Demon Continent.

    Magic Continent.

    When I saw the map of the inner world, I was really shocked that I almost dropped the book in my hand.

    It was pretty damn big, only the inner world and it had already half the size of my previous world.

    I found Sylfania Kingdom, it was a small kingdom in the southern part of Human Continent.

    In total, there were 3 empires and 16 kingdoms in Human Continent.

    I looked for its capital Daia city and the city where I lived now Agatha city.

    Capital city of Daia was located in the middle and Agatha city was on the southern most part of the kingdom next to the sea.

    I then asked the maid how long it would take to travel from Agatha city to capital city of Daia.

    She said it would take at least eight months by normal horse carriage and six months by boat.

    Except for its size, this world wasn¡¯t really that different from my previous world, they had many races lived in this world, there were elf, dwarf, beastman, human, demon, and many other that I had never heard.

    I wonder if my skills and magics could still be used in this world, I had seen the maid used a water magic before so I hoped my magic would work too.

    I then tried to use ¡°bookworm¡± and it worked, so read the remaining books as fast as I could and in less than 20 minutes I finished them all.

    I wanted to test my magic by returning the books to its original place but in the end I decided not to, because the maid was sitting next to me and I didn¡¯t want her to make a commotion when she saw using magic.

    I then asked the maid to return the books and looked for magic books, I wanted to know if magic in this world worked the same as my previous world.

    After a few minutes she returned while holding nine books, she give them to me and I then started reading.

    One hour later I closed the last book.

    As I thought it was the same as my previous world.

    Magic in this world had the same system as my previous world.

    They were divided into four inner systems, fire, water, wind, and earth.

    Three outer systems, gravity, lightning, and summon.

    Two special systems light and darkness

    One unique system which was all magic that weren¡¯t included in the other systems, such as, nature magic, dragon magic and demon magic.

    The only different was that in my previous world there was no such thing as rank, but in this world magic were divided into rank, beginner, intermediate, advance, saint, king, emperor, and the last was god rank magic.

    I spent all day reading books in the library.

    Three years passed by

    I am now three years old.

    It seemed every night, Richard and Jessica worked very hard and another sibling had been made.

    My day of spending all my time on reading books in the library came to an end.

    Well, the reason wasn¡¯t only just because I had read all of them, but also because my parents started to call many home tutors.

    They said that I had to become a capable lady so that I could marry into a good family.

    We stared at each other, looking for an opening to attack.

    A gust of wind suddenly blew and because I was on the opposite direction where the wind from. I narrowed my eyes for a moment, but in that instance Helena swung her sword to my left side. I barely parried her sword and countered her with a slash to her right shoulder, but Helena suddenly disappeared.

    I then sensed someone was behind me and jumped to my left as I moved my sword to cut whoever was behind me. I felt my sword clashed with something. It was Helena¡¯s sword.

    Helena then attacked me with a flurry of slashes, but I could read her slashes and parried them all without any problem.

It also can run through in the sky and enter the water without any trouble.     Part 1

    We arrived at the tailor shop one hour later.

    It was a peaceful ride whitout any trouble.

    We stopped our carriage right in front of the shop.

    It was a large two story building with a large name plate ¡°Grisela Tailor Shop¡± in front of the shop and a large display window with various luxurious clothes, dress, gown, suits, robes were on display.

    From what Jessica told me, this shop was the biggest tailor shop in the city and every noble and royalty including the king of this kingdom, usually made their clothes in this shop.

    Basically this shop was the most famous in this kingdom.

    Before we entered the shop, Cecil told the horseman to return back to the castle first without us.

    We didn¡¯t need the carriage anymore because I would teleport us back to the castle.

    The horseman only nodded and then went away with the carriage.

    As we entered the tailor shop, a woman with a bright smile, came and greeted us.

    She was around 40 years old with shoulder length black hair, black eyes while wearing a luxurious light green dress.

    ¡°Welcome to my shop Madam Jessica and princess, I have been waiting for your arrival.¡±

    This woman name was Grisela the tailor who made my new dress.

    I only met her once when she came to the castle to take my measurement.

    We headed toward the staircase leading to the second floor and went up.

    On the second floor, I saw there were only four costumers.

    A woman in blue dress with a maid standing behind her, the woman seemed to be choosing clothes for the two children, a boy and a girl who were besides her.

    When Jessica saw them, she stopped and turned her head to face me.

    ¡°Sweetie, can you go fitting your dress with Cecil? Mommy will greet madam Frylian over there.¡±

    Is that the name of the woman in blue dress?

    I nodded as I took another glance at them.

    After I said that Jessica started to walk towards the woman in blue dress.

    It was a room with a big room with red carpet covering the entire floor and many expensive looking mirrors, dressers, wardrobes and other furniture and decorations beautifully and neatly arranged.

    As I looked around the room Grisela said that to me and she then headed towards one of the wardrobes.

    After a few seconds, she came back while holding an elegant red and black dress with gold embroidery, a red flower like a rose on the left chest, and a black ribbon with decoration of the same kind but small red flowers on it.

    ¡°This dress name is Scarlet Darkness, made from scarlet flaming silkworm from magic continent which has a high resistance to fire, and the black threads from Heratus of Darkness from demon continent which has a high resistance to physical attack and darkness. I made this with an image of an adult in my mind. I guarantee you will like it.¡±

    After her explanation, Grisela handed the dress and ribbon to Cecil and then she started to help me fitting the dress.

    It was a comfortable dress without any discomfort and easy to move around with, moreover this dress seemed to have warmth properties which made the wearer feel warm even in the middle of winter.

    This dress is very good.

    Its materials are so smooth and soft

    As expected from the most famous tailor in this kingdom.

    I nodded in satisfaction.

    I walked to the nearest mirror on my right and stood in front of it.

    In the mirror I saw my own reflection.

    A very beautiful little girl with a waist long, straight, silky, blond hair with a black ribbon decorated with small red flowers, a pair of beautiful sky blue eyes, white skin and was wearing a red and black elegant dress.

    Northern district was on the northern area of the city, it was where every noble residence were located.

    Residential district was on the northwest area of the city, it was a place with many high apartment buildings where most people were live in this place.

    Adventurer district, it was on the west area of the city, it was where the famous humongous adventurer guild headquarter building was, and many other facilities which supporting the adventurers were located, such as blacksmiths, tailors, library, training hall, etc. Adjusted to the adventurers wallet, most business in this area were much more cheaper compared to business district and of course the quality was much more lower too.

    Business district was on the southwest area of the city, it was a place where markets, inns, bars, cafes, shops, stalls, Merchants Association HQ, companies and many others business location were.

    Port district was on the south area of the city, it was where the port, ship builders, sailor association, fisherman, warehouses, and all other related things to harbor were.

    Religious district, it was on the southeast area of the city, it was where the cathedral of the largest religion in Sylfania kingdom who worshiped Milcast, god of light who ruled over prosperity and fertility, and other facilities related to religion were located, such as priest apartments, priestess apartments, hifg priest/priestess and pope residence, statue of Milcast, etc.

    Magic district was on the east area of the city, it was where the tallest magic tower with the height of 120 meters and other magic related facilities were located, such as magic item shops, magic tool shops, enchanter shops, etc.

    Entertaiment district was on the northeast area of the city, this district divided into two areas, the first was Green light district area where various general entertainments were located, such as, theaters, art gallery, zoo, circus, parks, botanical garden, etc. The second one was a special district area where Red light district was, well you already know what kind of place it was, so I won¡¯t explain it to you anymore.

    And lastly was Central district, well even though it was called district, it was just where my family residence or castle and my family knight headquarter and their residence were located.

    The next day.

    A bright light forced me to wake up from my sleep, as I slowly opened my eyes, I realized that the light was the sunlight which had passed through the window in my room and fell onto my face.

    Guardian Knights were the title of the first three family knights who served the first king of this kingdom even before the Kingdom was build.

    They were Whitestar, Redsun, and Fullmoon.

    Each families had had their own hereditary Gifts passed down in their family.

    There were two types of gifts in each family

    The first was general hereditary Gift which every direct descendant would gain naturally, and the second one was special hereditary Gift which would appear once in every 1000 years.

    For our family we had the general Gift of ¡°Superhuman Growth¡± which allow us to surpassed normal human body capability as long as we train, but there was still a limit on how much we could increase our body capability. And our special hereditary Gift was ¡°Limit Break¡± which allowed us to go beyond that limit. There was a legend which had been passed down through in our family, that one of our family ancestors who had this Gift was capable of splitting the sea and sky into two with just one swing from his sword.

    The Redsun family had the general hereditary Gift ¡°White Divine Flame¡± which allowed them to use and control divine flame of the sun. This flame was different from any other flames, depending on the user it could be used to burn anything into ashes or as a purification flame, and if the user was very skilled it even could cure and heal someone. Their special hereditary Gift was ¡°Child of the Sun¡± which allowed them to use the divine fire of the sun at will without chanting and consuming any spirit, it also gave the owner of the Gift 100% fire and cold resistance and the ability to control and absorb any type of flames.

    Lastly was Fullmoon family had the general hereditary Gift ¡±Natural Beauty¡± which gave the owner a truly beautiful appearance which helped them to tame even the most ferocious monsters.     A beautiful little girl with long blond hair, wearing black training suit, was rampaging and killing every monsters inside the high level dungeons.

    A high level dungeon was filled with monsters level A to AAA.

    This skill allowed me to see without using my eyes and also no matter how fast my enemies were, I still could see them clearly.

    How the hell can i defeat this thing with only an iron sword as a weapon!

    All the snake heads kept attacking me and i just evaded them by jumping all over the place while thinking of a way to defeat it.

    I started to gather and compressed my fight thing into the sword.

    There was no other space in the castle food storage. It had been filled long ago with the first two mountains of dead monsters bodies which I had previously brought before.

    The second one was to sell all low and mid quality materials.

    And lastly was to store all the high quality materials in the castle storage.

    I had gotten quite a large sum of money by selling those low and mid quality materials from all the previous monsters.

    My total wealth stored in the spatial ring right now was 14 RG 480 P 4.779 G 54 S and 83 C.

    From what Cecil said It would take us about an hour of walk to arrive there.

    Cecil pointed at a carriage stations not to far from where we were standing.

    In this city and other big city, because it would take too long to walk if you wanted to reach other districts, there were people who rented their carriages as a way for transportation.

    The second one was a torch that would light up for 12 hours straight and also had the same auto-recharge. It price was 75 G.

    The third one was a canteen that would purified the water inside it and also able to keep the water temperature to normal. It price was 40 G.

    The fourth one was a whistle that could make low level monsters, about level E and F in 2 Km radius ran away when you used it. It price was 60 G.

    The fifth one was a water proof sleeping bag which could keep you warm on winter and cool at summer. It price was 150 G.

    The last one was a magic backpack which could reduce the weight and shrink anything stored inside it by 1/100 of its original, It price was 1000 G.

    Cecil had a strange expression when she heard the price of all those tools.

    Even though they were pretty much useless for me but they were very useful for normal traveler, the only oproblem was their prices were too damn expensive.

    I thought for awhile and decided to buy two waterproof sleeping bag, for me and Cecil, and also one magic backpack.

    I forgot to mention this before, but as my personal attendant, Cecil would also be attending the same school and class as me.

    After paying 1.300 G, we left the shop and continued heading to the pharmacy store.

    We visited a few other shops while on the way, but we didn¡¯t find anything interesting or useful for our travel.

    Part 1

    I stopped my hand that was about to open the door to William Bookstore.

    Something wasn¡¯t right.

    What¡¯s this?

    This feeling¡­

    Dark magic?

    But who?

    I don¡¯t think William use dark magic.

    If he did, I could have sense a trace of dark magic from his body when the last time I met him.

    Did he use it recently?

    No, that¡¯s impossible.

    The dark magic I sense is too strong for a beginner.

    If so then is it Sarah?

    But can automaton use magic?

    Suddenly a familiar smell entered my nose.

    The smell which I had always sense after killing a monster.

    The smell of blood.

    My expression turned into serious and without looking back at Cecil, I ordered her with a stern voice.

    ¡°Cecil! Quick go call city guards and knights to come!¡±

    ¡°Wha?¡¯

    Cecil was dumbfounded and just stood still behind me with her mouth opened.

    I turned my head.

    ¡°What are you standing there for!? Go now!¡±

    Cecil nodded and then rushed toward the nearest city guard post.

    I quickly opened the door and scanned the store, but there was no one in there, so I ran towards the back room.

    I could hear the sound of fighting from there, so without any hesitation I opened the door.

    What I saw in there was a mess.

    William was on the floor with a dagger stabbed into his heart.

    I could tell immediately that he was already dead.

    Next to his dead body was standing a handsome man with short blond hair, wearing a golden frame glasses, and a black robe with golden embroidery in front of it.

    I could sense a very strong trace of dark magic from this man.

    There was also a decapitated hand of someone lying on the floor near the man.

    On one side of the room was Sarah, she was fighting with three people who wore black cloaks.

    It seemed she was not in a good condition, her left hand had gone and there were a hole in her stomach and left chest.

    She was cornered and one of the cloaked men was about to stab Sarah with a sword..

    In reflex, I moved in an instant and stood between both of them, blocking the sword trajectory.

    The man looked surprised but he didn¡¯t stop his sword.

    With two fingers of my left hand, I caught the sword and broke it into two.

    The man lost his balance and with my right hand, I punched the man stomach.

    The man flown away trough the room and crashed onto the wall at the back, making a loud sound of BAM! After that he collapsed onto the floor.

    ¡°Ah¡­.¡±

    Damn!

    I forgot to hold back.

    I hope he didn¡¯t die.

    Even if they are criminals and deserve to die.

    I need them to be alive.

    The city guards and knights still need to question them

    That¡¯s why I need to catch them and not kill them.

    At the most I can only half kill them¡­..

    Oh well.

    There are still three more.

    I guess killing one or two will be fine right?

    I glanced at the two cloaked men who were staring blankly at me.

    It seemed they were surprised after seeing their friend was defeated so easily with just one punch.

    I took a step forward and showed them the best smile I had.

    The other two cloaked men came back to their sense and took a few steps back, making some distant with me.

    A long silence filled the entire room.

    We just stared at each other.

    And after a while, the handsome blond man stepped forward and greeted me with a noble style of greeting.

    ¡°Oh my how rude of me for not recognizing the famous princess of  Whitestar family.¡±

    This man¡­ have I meet him somewhere before?

    No, I am sure that this is our first meeting.

    But how did he know my name?

    I never did something amazing enough to make me famous.

    ¡°It¡¯s a pleasure to meet you Princess Ariel, my name is Fabio the court magician of Helios Empire.¡±

    Helios Empire was one of the three empires in Human Continent which was located in the North of Sylfania Kingdom. Along time ago, about 2000 years ago, it was a giant empire that ruled over the entire Human Continent, but because of their king tyrannical rule, people started to rebel and separated themselves from the empire, making their own kingdoms and empires.

    That was why Helios Empire was always at war with the other kingdoms and empires, but since 30 years ago after their huge defeat against the other two empires and lost half of their military power, they never attacked and even signed a treaty of war with every kingdom and the two empires.

    If this man really is the court magician of Helios Empire, than I can¡¯t do anything to him.

    If something happen to him in Sylfania Kingdom territory, Helios Empire will have a justification to attack and invade Sylfania Kingdom.

    There is gonna be another war.

    And I must avoid that.

    Wait¡­

    I see¡­.  So that¡¯s why he told me his identity so easily.

    This man must have calculated this.

    ¡°Nice to meet you too Lord Fabio, can you explain to me what had happened here?¡±

    I greeted him back with a noble style of greeting and a polite smile on my face.

    ¡°This man had stolen something very important from our empire, that¡¯s why I was ordered by the King to get it back personally, but this man refused and tried to attack me, so¡­ well you know the rest.¡±

    Sarah who was standing behind me rushed forward, intending to attack the man, but I raised my hand to stopped her.

    I gave her a look of understanding.

    I knew that this man is lying.

    He made up that story.

    I could tell that just by looking at his fake smile and his cold eyes.

    Sarah reluctantly stepped back while grinding her teeth.

    I returned my gaze back to the man.

    ¡°Do you have any proof of that man had stolen something from your empire?¡±

    ¡°Yes I have, but I didn¡¯t bring it with me right now. One of my colleagues is searching the stolen thing on the second floor, if he found it than that should be a enough proof right?¡±

    Fabio said that while pointing at the staircase.

    I nodded and we waited for his colleague to came back.

    After a few minutes, a man with a long scar on his face appeared from the staircase leading to the second floor.

    I had seen this man before.

    Yes, it was the day of my sixth birthday, when I was on my way to take my new dress at Grisela Tailor Shop.

    He was the man which I saw in the cake shop across from this bookstore.

    ¡°Ah did you find it?¡±

    Fabio asked the man, but he didn¡¯t answer and just showed a black book in his right hand.

    ¡°That¡¯s good.¡±

    Fabio nodded at the man and then turned back his attention to me.

    ¡°As you can see Princess, he found it.¡±

    I can¡¯t do anything to you even if you didn¡¯t have a proof.

    Well whatever.

    I will leave this matter to Richard.

    He knows what to do with this man.

    I have more urgent thing to do right now.

    ¡°I see, if possible would you mind meeting my father? He would be very happy to meet you.¡±

    Fabio smiled happily as he nodded.

    ¡°Of course, it¡¯s an honor to meet the head of Whitestar family.¡±

    Not long after that a few knights and city guards entered the room.

    They scanned the room for a few seconds.

    As soon as they saw William dead body, they took out their swords and pointed it at Fabio who stood next to it.

    I raised my hand to stop them and looked at one of the knights.

    ¡°They are our guest from Helios Empire, please prepare a carriage and took them to the castle to meet my father.¡±

    The knight nodded and then talked to the other knights.

    He then guided Fabio out of the room.

    The two cloaked man took their friend that was on the floor, the one that I punched, and the man with a long scar on his face were following behing Fabio.

    The other knights also went as their escort.

    I approached the rest of the city guards and ordered them to guard the entrance, not to let anyone to enter even if they were the commanders till I permit it.

    The city guards nodded and then went away.

    Now there is no one in this room except for me and Sarah.

    I turned to look at Sarah.

    First I need to fix this girl.

    I lifted my right hand towards her and started to pouring my spirit into it.

    The holes in Sarah stomach and left chest started to closed by itself, and her left hand which had been amputated started to reattach itself back to normal.

    Not only that. Her worn out clothes and other wounds were also return back to normal.

    Sarah stared blankly at herself with her mouth opened wide.

    ¡°H-how? I-I am an automaton¡­. healing won¡¯t work on me¡­. but this¡­¡±

    Her gaze turned toward me and with a disbelief look on her face.

    Of course that wasn¡¯t healing magic.

    What I used was ¡°Time Reverse¡±.

    It was a magic that would turn back the time of the target I chose.

    Though It wouldn¡¯t have any effect to living being,

    But I could use it perfectly for other thing.

    I also had repaired my Caela right hand glove that was melted by the snake boss with this magic.

    A handy magic if I wanted to repair something.

    ¡°That¡¯s not important right now. Do you know where William stored the soul gems and other automatons?¡±

    Sarah looked confused after hearing my question but she still answered.

    ¡°Yes¡­. In the lab.¡±

    I smiled gently at her and nodded.

    ¡°Good, can you take me there?¡±

    ¡°I can show you where it is, but you won¡¯t be able to enter it. There are a few safety locks and magic protections on the door, only William know how to open it. You can¡¯t force your way in or else you will trigger the last safety to blow anything inside it.¡±

    What the hell.

    Is he a paranoid or what?

    Making that many safety.

    Moreover the last one is to blow away his entire lab.

    There must be something very important inside it.

    Like his research of dangerous weapon or something along those line.

    And he didn¡¯t want anyone to know or take it from him.

    But this is troublesome.

    I looked at William¡¯s dead body.

    There was a blue flame of soul floating on top of it.

    After a person died, his/her soul would stay near at the body for 24 hours.

    And then the soul would depart to the underworld (Hell) or upper world (Heaven).

    Though there was one exception to that.

    That was when the soul had a deep attachment to this world, like a deep regret, hatred, etc, they would become a ghost.

    To put it simply, my plan was to resurrect William as an automaton by storing his soul into a soul gem and put it as a core for an automaton.

    I walked towards William¡¯s dead body and squatted next to his head.

    I took a glance at the blue flame of William¡¯s soul.

    Slowly I gathered my concentration as I close my eyes after a few moment, I put my right hand on his forehead.

    I gathered William¡¯s memories in my right hand, his pain, regret, despair, hope, sadness, happiness, hatred, love, knowledge, and everything that had happened to him in his entire life.

    A few minutes later, I lifted my hand and put it on my mouth.

    ¡°Umph!¡±

    Not too long after that, I started to vomit and coughing.

    What I use was a forbidden magic of darkness magic system called ¡°Brain Eater¡±.

    As the name implied ¡°Brain Eater¡±, I turned William¡¯s brain into a magic wave of information and literally ate it.

    It was a dangerous magic that would let you take someone¡¯s entire life experience onto yourself, but there were risks you must face after using it.

    If someone who didn¡¯t have a strong mind and mental state use this magic, their brain would be overwhelmed by the information which led to change in personality, crippling his mind, comatose, insanity, and worse death.

    If possible I was actually preferred to use ¡°Mind Reading¡± than this ¡°Brain Eater¡±.

    But ¡°Mind Reading¡± could only be used to someone who was still alive and not for dead people.

    Meanwhile ¡°Brain Eater¡± could be used either way, though there was a time limit for using it to dead people, which was one hour after the death or else it wouldn¡¯t have any effect.

    Moreover after using ¡°Brain Eater¡± you would feet as if you had eaten something very disgusting.

    ¡°Cough cough!¡±

    Damn it!

    I can handle the mind and mental burden just fine or rather have no effect on me.

    No mind and mental burden worse than when using ¡°Time Ark¡± after all.

    But still, this disgusting feeling¡­.. Uekh!

    I swear I will never use this magic again!

    ¡°A-Are you okay princess?¡±

    I heard Sarah worried voice came from behind me.

    ¡°Cough cough¡­ I am fine just let me rest for a bit.¡±

    I waited for ten minutes, waiting for the disgusting feeling to go away but it didn¡¯t.

    So I took another five more minutes to get used to it, controling myself for not vomiting and then stood up.

    Ukh¡­. I never thought that it would be this worse.

    As expected of forbidden magic.

    I took a few deep breathing and turned to face Sarah.

    ¡°I am fine now,¡­ let¡¯s go to the lab.¡±

    Sarah looked more confused now but she nodded her head.

    Before we went to the lab, I took a key from William¡¯s pocket and grabbed his soul.

    We got down to the basement and opened the only door in there.

    When I was guided by William to his workshop, there should be a long hallway after we opened the door, but now there was only large storage room filled with crates and barrels.

    Sarah walked toward one of the corners and knocked a few stones at the wall.

    From the William¡¯s memories, I knew that she was activating the mechanism to open the path to the long hallway.

    After that we got out of the storage and closed the door.

    Sarah took out a key from her pocket, REPLACEed it into the key hole at the door and then turned it a few times to the rights and lefts. As the finishing Sarah turned the door¡¯s knob and opened it again.

    Now there was a long hallway in front of us.

    We walked through the hallway, passing three doors which had different sizes and made from different materials, and stopped in front of the fourth door.

    It was a white metallic door with runes and diagrams were engraved onto it.

    ¡°This is the lab.¡±

    I nodded at Sarah and took a step closer to the door.

    At first glance you would think that these runes and diagrams couldn¡¯t be moved around, but by concentrating your spirit at your index finger, you could moved them easily, and as long as you arranged them into the correct places, you would unlock a few dozen safety that were placed on the door.

    To put it simply this door was like a big puzzle board with numerous traps and very difficult deciphering method.

    It took me five minutes to arrange them into the correct places, and with the key which I took from William¡¯s pocket, I opened the door and we entered the lab.

    Inside It was a very large room about 120x100m, filled with many strange looking machines, a large working table, shelves of books and documents, some kind of an examination table, there was an automaton lying on top of it, a few dozens of automatons at one side of the room and many other thing.

    I walked towards the working table at the center of the room and opened the second drawer below it.

    There were a few dozen red gems in many sizes inside it.

    All these red gems were soul gem, each type of automatons would need a different size of soul gem.

    Now the problem is, what kind of automaton will suit William?

    Should I use a monster type automaton?

    Hmmm¡­.. I guess it will stand out too much when he is in the city, so a no than.

    ¡­¡­.. Oh well, let¡¯s just use the human type.

    I took one of the medium sizes soul gems and with ¡°Soul Infusion¡±, I REPLACEed William¡¯s soul into the gem and then walked to where the automaton were.

    ¡°Umm excuse me princess, but what are you doing?¡±

    From behind, Cecil anxious voice asked.

    ¡°You will know soon.¡±

    Hmm let¡¯s see¡­¡­. What kind of automaton suited for Wiliam.

    Ah this one is good.

    From his memory, He like this one.

    What I chose was an automaton of a middle age man with black hair and thick moustache, wearing only long pants while his upper body was bare.

    I put my right hand on its left chest, pouring my spirit onto it and a few seconds latter it started to open with a sound of compressed air.

    To activate an automaton I need to put a bit of my blood onto the soul gems, it was to activate the soul gem so that the soul inside it could control the automaton, and also for a blood bind or contract between master and servant.

    I took a knife from the spatial ring and cut my finger a little, blood started to drip from the cut and I put a few drops of it on the gem.

    I didn¡¯t really care about the contract.

    I only wanted to activate the soul gem.

    After that I would let William decide what he wanted to do.

    I wouldn¡¯t order him as if he was my servant.

    I put the gem inside the automaton and after a few moments, it started to glow.

    Good, it works perfectly fine.

    After confirming that, I closed back the left chest of the automaton and a moment later, the automaton started to open his eyes, showing a pair of black eyes.

    He blinked a few times as he stared at me, and then he looked at his surrounding with a confused look.

    ¡°What?..... Why I am in the lab?..... Wait¡­ I should have died¡­.¡°

    With a satisfaction smile, I nodded at William.

    ¡°Good, it seems your memory is still intact.¡±

    Part 2

    A carriage escorted by a dozen of knights was passing through along the main street of Business district of Agatha city.

    Four man was sitting in a carriage

    Inside a carriage, a man with black cloak was lying down unconscious on the floor.

    And there were four other men sitting inside the carriage.

    They were Fabio and his colleagues who were heading to the Whitestar family residence with the escort of the knights.

    By just looking at Fabio expression, anyone could tell that he was in a bad mood

    ¡°That damn man¡­ how the hell he ordered that automaton girl to kill himself. He should be unconscious¡­ or is he had programmed her to do that before hand? Damn it,¡±

    He was in foul mood because William was killed by Sarah before he could finish reading his mind.

    Their real objective was to gain a certain information of an ancient ruins from William but he refused, so Fabio forced his way by using ¡°Mind Reading¡± on him.

    When he was halfway on doing that suddenly Sarah appeared and stabbed him on the heart, killing William instantly and caused the spell to stop working.

    What Fabio gained was only a small part of the information and its general location.

    The man with a long scar on his face who sat next to Fabio, kicked the unconscious cloaked man, few second latter the man groaned in pain.

    ¡°Aargh¡­ ¡°

    The man slowly got up as he held his stomach and then sat next to the other two cloaked men.

    ¡°That damn brat¡­. what the hell is she? Knocking me out with just a punch.¡°

    ¡°That girl is Ariel Whitestar the eldest daughter of Whitestar family.¡±

    ¡°Damn it! No wonder she is so strong.¡±

    Whitestar family wasn¡¯t just famous in Sylfania Kingdom but also in the entire Human Continent.

    Their entire family strength and ability were capable of rivaling an entire army of a big kingdom.

    It could be said that their existence was one of the reason why Helios Empire wasn¡¯t able to win against Sylfania Kingdom.

    The scar faced man scowled at the cloaked man.

    ¡°Even if you didn¡¯t know her, you should be able to tell her strength when she suddenly appeared in front of you, but you still charging at her, are you stupid or what? You are really lucky that she only use her raw strength and not with fighting spirit, if not you will die instantly¡­ after we go back to the headquarter I will retrain you with three times the usual menus, so prepare yourself.¡±

    The man became silent after he was scolded and just looked down at the floor.

    The other two cloaked man slightly shook their head, looking at the man with pitiful gaze, it seemed they knew this would happen and that was why they didn¡¯t attack the girl.

    Marco was on the second floor when Ariel suddenly appeared. he heard her conversation with Fabio and decided to take a random book on the nearest bookshelf as a proof.

    Marco threw the book to Fabio and he caught it swiftly.

    As Fabio open the book and read its content, he started to laugh uncontrollably.

    Part 1

    I told William what had happened after he was killed by Sarah and also apologized for using ¡°Brain Eater¡± to his dead body.

    William didn¡¯t mad at me, he just listen to my story calmly and nodded a few times in understanding.

    ¡°So what are you gonna do after this?¡±

    We were on our way back to living room when I asked that.

    ¡°What else can I do? I am an automaton now, and I don¡¯t know anyone else who know about automaton, you know what it means right?¡±

    I slightly nodded.

    I could understand what he meant.

    Automaton couldn¡¯t live alone. They need maintenance and various other things to keep their body functioning, and to do that they need someone who knew well about automaton, but in this world there was not many artificer who knew and capable to do that. Even if there was, the kindom or empire where he/she lived probably had hired them as exclusive artificer which meant he/she wouldn¡¯t be able to do any request except from their kingdom or empire.

    After all, Artificer was the most valuable asset in any kingdoms and empires, they were the only one who could recreate ancient technology or create a new one, though they were mostly hired for military purpose on developing new weapons, but still there were a lot of artificer who wanted to work for their kingdom/empire because of the payment was pretty high. For example, in Sylfania kingdom a lower rank exclusive artificer got paid 2 G per month, it was the same salary as a high rank official.

    If only Sarah knew how to do maintenance and various other things, the two of them could do maintenance for each other, but regrettably she couldn¡¯t. When she was still alive, Sarah was a normal child that died because of an illness and her soul was taken by William.

    ¡°Why don¡¯t you come with me? Actually I have a few plans in my mind which I want to turn it into reality, I am in need of someone who mastered artificer like you to help me, and If you want I can do maintenance for you.¡±

    Thanks for using ¡°Brain Eater¡± I had gained all William¡¯s knowledge and skills, basically I had become a master Artificer like William, so of course I could do everything that William could do, a simple maintenance wasn¡¯t a big problem for me. If I wanted to I even could make an automaton from scratch in less than a week.

    I could tell just by seeing William¡¯s expression that he was a bit hesitated to accept my offer, was he afraid that I would take advantage and told him to do something stupid or unreasonable order? Like making a nuke bomb or other mass murder weapons, or did he worried about me? if Helios Emperor know that he was still alive¡­ I knew that he was practically already dead, let¡¯s just say he was alive okay? Helios Empire would most likely come and took him away, and from William¡¯s memory, I knew what they were after and understood that they would do anything to achieve that.

    So I decided to ask him.

    ¡°What are you worried about?¡±

    William took a glance at me with a bitter smile on his face.

    ¡°No, its just that you will probably will be targeted by Helios Empire if I am with you.¡±

    Ah so he¡¯s worried about me.

    Though I think it¡¯s already too late for that.

    That man, Fabio, probably has made me into one of his target to be eliminated.

    He is a clever man. Seeing my strength, after punching that cloaked man, He must have judged that I will become a hindrance for Helios Empire big plan sooner or later.

    Well.., though after knowing their plan, I will probably become a hindrance more sooner than he thought.

    ¡°Don¡¯t worry about me. I am actually pretty strong you know. After all I am one of the Seven Stars Sword Emperors.¡±

    William almost fell when he heard that.

    ¡°Ha ha ha ha Nice joke princess.¡±

    ¡°I am sorry, but I am not joking. Did you think Fabio just left by his own will? He knew that it was bad to fight me head on.     William just stared at me with disbelief expression on his face.

    After that I told William to pack up their things because they would move to the castle. It was much safer in there than here, and also told him to change Sarah body into another automaton, Fabio had seen her before and he would probably be suspicious if Sarah was with me.

    While they were packing their things up, I went outside to look for Cecil, but it seemed I didn¡¯t have to do that, she was already waiting for me near the entrance door along with one of city guard commanders

    I told the city guard commander to clean up William¡¯s dead body, he then ordered a few city guards to enter and cleaned it up while he was asking me what was going on.

    And it seemed Cecil was also wanted to know, so I told them Fabio¡¯s version of the story. The city guard commander seemed to be also didn¡¯t believe what Fabio had said, he told me that there was no need for Helios Empire to sent their own court magician for such thing, no matter how important the stolen thing was. After all Helios Empire had a secret special unit called ¡°Vargant¡± that deal with something like this and various other secret operations, there must be other reason why Helios Empire sent their court magician.

    A few minutes later, a few city guards came out of the store carrying a stretcher with William¡¯s dead body covered with white blanket on it.

    Before the city commander left, I told him to left at least four city guards to guard the store for a few days, he nodded and ordered four guards to do that, after that he left.

    Cecil and I went to the deserted alley near the bookstore and teleported to the living room of William¡¯s Bookstore. I did this because I wanted to teleported William and Sarah directly to the castle, and the city guards stationed at the entrance would find it strange if I entered the store and never came out.

    I didn¡¯t want to take a risk, Helios Empire spy might have still loitering around the store, and they might find it strange if a middle age man, William in automaton body, suddenly came out of the store. there should only be a bald man and a young girl who lived in here.

    Part 2

    With teleport magic we instantly arrived at the castle, to be exact inside my room.

    Sarah and William looked at me with strange expression on their face as if they were looking at some sort of alien.

    Haaa¡­ people really should get used to teleport magic.

    I am tired of seeing that kind of expression every time I use teleport magic.

    I turned my head to look at Cecil.

    ¡°Cecil please take them to the guest rooms, I need to talk with father.¡±

    Cecil nodded and then took the two of them out of my room.

    After that I also left my room heading to the library which also Richard study room. He was usually in there most of the time doing various paper works.

    As I reached there, I knocked the door a few times and heard William voice saying to enter the room.

    I opened the door and saw William was reading some documents,

    When I was walking toward him, Richard lifted his head to see who was coming and after he knew that it was me, he smiled happily as she greeted me.

    ¡°Oh what¡¯s wrong sweetie? It¡¯s rare for you to visit me in this kind of time.¡±

    Well yeah, It¡¯s still 10 in the morning.

    I am usually training with Helena at this kind of time.

    I sat on the chair in front of the desk and had wore a serious expression.

    Richard smile disappeared when he saw my expression. It was very rare for me to have this kind of expression and he knew that whenever I was like this, it was usually a pretty serious matter.

    I started telling him what had happened in William¡¯s Bookstore and my encounter with the court magician of Helios Empire.

    I didn¡¯t tell him who William actually was, but I told him what Helios Empire objective, plan, and various other information which I knew from William¡¯s memory.

    Though I also hide some of the facts, like when I used ¡°Brain Eater¡± or about I had resurrected William as automaton, and a few other things.

    I made sure that Richard thought William had died and Sarah had evacuated herself to another safe place. When Richard asked me where she evacuated herself to, I told him that I didn¡¯t know because Sarah didn¡¯t want to tell me about it.

    I knew that Richard wanted to get more information from her, but I didn¡¯t think Sarah could give more information than what I had told to him. After all William had programmed Sarah as a counter measure if something like this happened, so he never gave any important information to her.

    Richard expression turned into a grim one as I finished my story.

    ¡°Haaa¡­ our peaceful time soon will be over¡­¡±

    With a gentle smile I tried to cheer him up.

    ¡°Don¡¯t worry, If my calculation is right, we still have at least 6 more years to before the war break out.¡±

    He took another deep sigh and stood up from his chair.

    ¡°Thank you sweetie, I should get ready for our guests. Oh yeah can you also inform your great grandmother about this? She should be at the clearing area near the lake.¡±

    I nodded and then left the room along with Richard.

    I went straight to the clearing area where I usually training with Helena, I used that place as one of the location for butchering of the monsters dead bodies I had brought from mountain Galabas.

    When I reached the edge of the forest, I saw 10 knights were carrying one giant size meat about 6 meters long, probably more than 500 kg in weight, heading to the nearby carriage.

    I passed through some other knights who carried the meats as I went to the clearing area, they all greeted me with a happy smile and a thumb up, I asked them why they were so happy and one of them answered that these meat from the giant monsters were all very high quality meat, which very rarely they could eat. Moreover it seemed they were gonna do a barbeque party tonight using all the meats they got.

    I just smiled at them and warned them not to drink any alcohol. After all they were on guard duty tonight, they saluted me as a reply and then went away with the giant size meat..

    As I reached the clearing area, I saw Helena throwing a giant monster dead body into the sky, she then also followed it by jumping while wielding her sword in her right hand, when she got closer she swung her sword a few times cutting it into a few large parts.

    I guess she did that so that it would be easier for the knights to extract it.

    I waved my hand at her as I yelled calling her to come.

    I then brought her to a more quiter place to talk and told them everything that I had told to Richard.

    But not like Richard, her face was void of any expression, she only nodded a few times, I couldn¡¯t tell what she was thinking so I just continued my story till the end.

    ¡°Well let¡¯s talk about this latter tonight. We still have more work to do here. Come you also help too, this is all your meat after all.¡±

    This old hag really is easy going¡­

    Well I also ubderstand that it¡¯s useless to worry about it right now.

    Better finish this up quick.

    The disgusting feeling after using ¡°Brain Eater¡± still haven¡¯t gone yet.

    I have to do something about that.

    I followed Helena back to the clearing area.  There were still a lot of monsters dead bodies to be taken care of.

    It was an unbelievable scene for the knights, one after another the monsters dead bodies were thrown and cut like they were made of paper, most of them had their mouth opened wide and their eyes were about to come out of their sockets.

    Grant, the head instructor who saw the scene besides me, shook his head as he muttered something like ¡°Family of monsters¡±

    After that we also went to the other two butchering place at the back of the castle, and started doing the same thing to all of them.

    Thanks to that in the afternoon, the knights finished extracting all of the monsters dead bodies.

    Part 3

    At night there was a festival of barbeque in the castle, everywhere you went, you could sense delicious smell of meats being roasted and grilled.

    But too bad I couldn¡¯t enjoy them at all. not only because I was right now in the study room with Richard and Helena, discussing the matter about Helios Empire, but also because of I still had this damn disgusting feeling after using ¡°Brain Eater¡±.

    I had tried various way to remove it, using any cure, healing, purification, and many other magics, but it had no effect at all.

    I am beginning to worry about it now.

    Till when I have to endure this disgusting feeling.

    Don¡¯t tell me that it will be like this forever.

    When that thought appeared my mind, I started regretting using that magic.

    Next time, I should think twice before using any forbidden magic.

    Part 4

    One week latter.

    In this one week,

    There were a few things that I wanted to mention.

    The first was that William¡¯s Bookstore now had become empty building.

    I had stored all books and everything else, including William workshop into the spatial ring, and now it had officially been closed and now I was the owner of that building.

    The second one was that, I had introduced Sarah and William, who I had change their name into Debby and Harris to my family, I told them that I was hiring these two people, Debby as my second personal attendants and Harris as my subordinate. Along with Cecil, these two would also accompany me to Tyris Academy.

    Well there was some kind of interview or background check when I introduced both of them. Well we manage to fool them somehow by making up some stories that was mixed with half lies and half truth.

    The third one was that on the third day aftet the incident in William¡¯s Bookstore, Fabio and his colleagues went to the capital city of Daia while being escorted personally by Richard and 1000 knights of our family.

    It seemed that they had entered Sylfania Kindom through illegal way, they didn¡¯t have any official documents for passing trough the border, and they must take care of that in the capital before they could return back to Helios Empire.

    The fourth one was about the matter regarding me being the chairman of Tyris Academy.

    You know what? This matter was surprisingly ended up with just one letter from Helena.

    She told me to give that letter to the vice chairman, he knew what to do and I just had to follow his instruction.

    It seemed that when my grandfather died and Richard got married, Helena threw away all the work as a chairman to the vice chairman and went back to Whitestar castle.

    I felt really sorry for that vice chairman, for more than 8 years, yeah Helena never returned back since she left, he must do all the work by himself.

    On the fifth day, I along with Cecil, Debby and Harris left the castle after saying goodbye to my family and all the people who lived in there, maids, butlers, chefs, gardeners, knights and many others were lining up as they waved their hands at me as a goodbye, some maids and a the head chefs who were close to me even cried.

    I wondered why they were crying as if I would never return, like I had done when I was training in Gabalas Mountain, I was planning to return once a week, they should have know that I could use teleport magic.

    After that we headed to the harbor using a carriage, it took us two days to reach there. Well, this time I didn¡¯t really mind it because it wasn¡¯t a boring journey. I had a full in depth discussion with Harris regarding my plan and various other things.

    In the afternoon, we finally arrived at the harbor and stopped right in front of the ship that would take us to the capital. Just like what I had said before, we would take the fastest route to the academy by going to the capital and then continued our way to the Academy. Even though it was the shortest route, but it would still take at least six months just to arrive at the capital.

    Unfortunately I didn¡¯t really have much time for sightseeing. our ship would start sailing soon.

    When I was on the deck, I saw a lot of children of my age had already on the ship. It wasn¡¯t really surprising though, this ship was an exclusive ship for new students of Tyris Academy.

    There wasn¡¯t just human children on the ship, from what I saw, there were dwarves, elves and beastman, what I liked the most was the children from rabitman and catman tribe, they were sooo cuuute, I had to hold myself to not jump and hug them when I saw them running around on the deck. I didn¡¯t know why, but maybe because I was reincarnated as a girl, I now really loved sweets and cute things.

    When I was looking around, I found a familiar face, a girl with shoulder length black hair wearing beautiful light green dress. It was Restia Valbatos, she was accompanied by a girl in maid outfit which I presume was her personal attendant.

    She was standing near the edge of the ship and was staring at the sea.

    I approached the girl and greeted her.

    ¡°Hello Restia.¡±

    She suddenly jumped in surprised as she heard my greeting, quickly turned around.

    ¡°P-P-Princess! Uh, eh, ah um yes, i-its been a long time p-princess.¡±

    Ha ha ha a shy girl as usual.

    It¡¯s really amusing looking at her.

    ¡°Yes, the last time we met was on my little brother, Leon birthday party. You also will be attending Tyris Academy right? What school?¡±

    Restia timidly nodded her head.

    ¡°Err yes, I will attend magic arts school, White Magic Class.¡±

    White magic class was a class where the student learned about Light Magic System, usually only the students who wanted to become a healer took this class.

    ¡°I see, well I will attend Craft School, Artificer Class. Though we are in different school and class, I hope you will take care of me.¡±

    Not too long after that, the captain of the ship announce our departure.

 Chapter 8 : First Month Of Traveling (UNEDITTED)

    Chapter 8 : First Month Of Traveling (UNEDITTED)

    Part 1

    Two days had passed since our departure.

    Right now we were on our way to Norland River, a very large river with wide about 10 km and extended from Mountain Calvas in the northern region of Sylfania Kingdom to the sea in the south near Agatha City.

    By following this river to the north, in about 6 months of smooth sail, we would be to reach the capital city of Sylfania Kingdom, Daia City.

    From the captain of the ship, Daia City was a very big city just like Agatha City, but compared to Agatha City which famous for its commerce and business center, on the contrary, Daia City was famous as a tourist city filled with beautiful parks, gardens, art center, theaters, coliseum, artistic buildings, majestic palace, and many other tourist attractions. All kind of people from all over the continent who visit Sylfania Kingdom usually visited this capital city once to tour around the city.

    If there was a time, maybe I should tour Daia city too before continuing to the academy.

    I also heard from the captain that this river were quite dangerous, sometimes vicious monsters from the sea would came to the river looking for prey. The monsters itself wasn¡¯t really a problem because the academy hired about two dozen high rank adventurers to protect the ship. But what worried the most was the ship itself, though this ship was really big, a galleon ship with 55 m length, 25 m wide, and 10 m height. If the monsters from the sea really attacked this ship, which their size were usually very big, the first thing they would do was to sink the ship. They would attack the ship from under the water which made it hard for the adventurers to kill it.

    Monsters from the sea weren¡¯t like typical river monsters which only targeted small and medium ships like fisherman boats, plus anyone who foolish enough to swim in their territory, these sea monsters would target everything, whether it was small boat or large ship.

    ¡°Gahaha princess you really got a big one this time.¡±

    A hoarse voice could be heard coming from behind my back, I turned my head a little and saw a big burly man with a thick beard.

    This man name was Juan Hedfall, the captain of this ship, Armored Turtle.

    ¡°Ah captain, want to join us?¡±

    Except for Harris who was in his cabin, doing some works for me, right now, I, Cecil, Debby, Restia and her maid, Melisa were on the deck near the guard rails, sitting on stools and were holding long rods with long strings at the other end of the rods.

    ¡°Bah! Those bastards will never change. Their worthless pride and sickening bullshit of lies and deceits, they must be planning something stupid like conquering human continent again.¡±

    Moreover from his tone of voice, I can feel hatred, disgust and grudge.

    Suddenly a lovely scream of a girl asking for help interrupted our conversation, it was coming from my left side.

    When I turned my gaze, what I saw was the scene of Restia struggling with her fishing rod, her face was red from trying to hold onto the fishing rod, slowly but surely, her two feet were sliding on the wooden deck floor, dragged by the fish toward the water, but thanks to guard rails, she managed to keep herself from falling into the water.

    Her maid, Melisa, who saw this, quickly pull her fishing rod, throwing it onto the deck floor and moved next to Restia, helping her pulling the fishing rod.

    This girl¡­. today should be her first time fishing, but what the hell with these 17 strikes in a row¡­.

    Even I, the person who taught her on how to fish, only got 8 strikes so far¡­

    I can¡¯t believe this a normal thing.

    And the only explanation I can think of for this is because of a Gift.

    Looking at her like that I involuntarily thought of a way on how to spend time at the sea. And all of sudden a flash of idea passed through my mind. I remembered my training with the old hag Helena in Galabas Mountain, at that time for a break from training or just to relax ourselves, we usually went to river and started fishing.

    So I took three fishing rods, at that time it was only me, Restia, and Melisa who were on the deck, Cecil and Debby came later on, I invited Restia to fish with me, but she refused it by shyly saying that she didn¡¯t know anything about fishing.

    Since the beginning I knew that she would refuse regardless of her reason, so I forcefully gave her a fishing rod, I had quite a lot of them from my training, and pulled her along with me to the guard rails as I told her I would teach her how to do it.

    After awhile she got her first strike and caught a medium size fish. She was so happy that she almost incidentally threw her fishing rod and the fish back to the sea, thankfully I managed to catch it before she threw it. After that she caught some more fish and now became addicted to fishing.

    Seeing Restia and Melisa managed to take a few steps back while pulling the fishing rod, I judged that the two of them could handle the fish and wouldn¡¯t need my help, so I turned my gaze from Restia to the water where her bait was.

    WHAT THE HELL!!!

    I was so surprised and almost fell into the water when I saw that THING, a three meters long shiny golden fish, with a pair of big golden eyes staring at the ship, on its head was a beautiful golden crown embedded with large diamond at the center and various small precious gems around it. Its mouth was gaping and there was a very thin shiny string that tried to pull it to the surface towards the ship, but it refused and struggled to dive back into the water.

    IS THAT THING REALLY A FISH!!!!!?

    The captain who was standing beside me also had a surprised look on his face, his two hands were on his head and his mouth was also gapping like the golden fish, meanwhile both of his eyes were opened wide as if they were about to jump from their sockets.

    ¡°A GOLDEN KING!!!¡±

    Suddenly he screamed like a mad man, causing me to immediately plug my ears with my two index fingers.

    With a two large steps, he quickly jumped to help Restia and Melisa, his right hand moved swiftly and caught the fishing rod that was in their hands and along with them, he began to pull the fishing rod.

    What is golden king?

    Is that that fish name?

    But that fish¡­.. Is it edible?

    I mean, just look at its body¡­ it look as hard as real gold.

    Anyone who tried to eat it maybe, no surely will lose all their teeth.

    Well I guess it can be sold for hefty sum of money though.

    But I don¡¯t need any more money for now.

    I had gotten quite a lot of it, precisely 4600 G after selling low and mid quality materials from those giant monsters I brought from Gabalas Mountain.

    While I was looking at them, sounds of footsteps and people talking started to gathered near us, I turned my head and found crowd of people had gathered, making a half circle around us and started yelling and cheering the three of them.

    Ohh this is becoming more interesting.

    Okay, I have decided not to help them.

    As the time passed, the crowd started cheers louder and louder.

    They seems to enjoy this too.

    Thirty minutes later, their tug of war ended with the golden king as the winner. And as the trophy of its victory, it took away the fishing rod along with it into the water.

    Juan seemed to be so frustrated over their defeat to the golden king.

    With a smile I tried to cheer him up.

    One month had passed since we left Agatha City.

    Right now we were docking in a city called Tuan, a mid size city with most of its populate were fisherman and farmer.

    We were here to resupply our food, medicine and other daily necessities which we almost run out of them. And while the crew of the ship went to buy and restock our supply, the captain gave us a free time on the land for two hours so that we could explore and bought our own personal necessities if we needed it.

    Our group, except for Harris who still holed up in his cabin, had decided to visit the market for window shopping and if we found something we like, we could buy it.

    I was actually wanted to stay on the ship and helped Harris doing some projects, but the girls, mostly the persistence one was Cecil, forced me to accompany them to the market. Cecil begged while kept saying it was too dangerous for weak and fragile young ladies to go to a crowded place without someone to protect them.

    Who the hell weak and fragile ladies! Never mind Restia, but you and Melisa should have receive a special training as a personal attendant and also as a bodyguard! I was screaming all of that inside of my mind.

    What? Did you think personal attendant for noble kids were a normal maid or butle? Hell no! all of them must have gone through some kind of combat arts, whether magic or martial arts, for there weren¡¯t just to serve their masters but also to protect them.

    I didn¡¯t know how about Melisa, but for Cecil, she was chosen as my personal maid wasn¡¯t just because she was close to my age, but also because she was the best student of the head instructor Grant.

    I had seen her beating 4 senior knights with ease in a sparring match. Her martial art rank was actually a saint rank of seven sword stars!

    The market place weren¡¯t too far from the dock, in less than fifteen minutes we had reached there. Just as you expected from a market, stalls, shops, peddlers, and costumers were everywhere.

    The first thing we visited was a tailor shop. It seemed that Restia wanted to buy new clothes, a normal one and not a dress type clothes. Restia said her expensive looking dress attracted too many attentions when she was on the ship and she felt uncomfortable because of it.

    It was a good thing I had bought normal clothes before leaving Agatha City, no one really pay much attention towards me¡­ Probably?.. Okay I would be honest, It wasn¡¯t really effective, people still stared at me whenever I went to, that was why I wore my cloak and covered my head whenever I left my room.

    Nothing much in here, just like any other normal tailor shop it had quite a lot of collections. Except for me who didn¡¯t really had any motivation for shopping and need for new clothes, the girls started to browse trough the clothes as soon as they entered the shop.

    I didn¡¯t follow their example and just sat on the nearby chair. And while watching them choosing clothes, my though wandered off, recalling anything that had happen this past one month.

    After that incident with the golden king fish, many other passengers who mainly other new students just like us, also start fishing on the deck, seemed like they were hoping for that golden king fish to get caught again.

    They were so enthusiastic to the point where some of them fought for a good fishing spot on the deck, thankfully captain Juan was there when that happened and stopped them before it escalated even more, he threatened to throw anyone who fought to the sea and left them there to be eaten by monster, a good way to threaten the kids.

    Well, this sudden fishing festival ended one week later after no one managed to catch it.

    I didn¡¯t know if it was a good or a bad thing because I still couldn¡¯t taste anything but rotten food whenever I ate, but for that whole week every menu in for breakfast to dinner were made of fish, they were all from the fish that the passengers had caught.

    It seemed this was also one of the major reason why everyone stop fishing, eating fish for a whole week made pretty much everyone sick of it including the girls, but there was always an exception for everything, some passengers were happy to eat fish everyday abd kept fishing.

    You must have realized who they were by now, yeah they were the Beastman from the Catman tribe. As expected from cat¡­

    After that week the girls also stop fishing and started gathering in my room to chat and gossiping¡­ At that time I really wanted to kick them out of my room. Their giggle and laughter¡­ Ugh, just because they didn¡¯t have anything else to do that didn¡¯t mean I also the same. I couldn¡¯t concentrate in doing my projects, drawing a few blueprints of various devices and did some research for my future plans.

    In the end I evacuated myself to Harris room for a quite place where I could work peacefully. With my space magic, I had turned Harris room into a very spacious place which he made it into a workshop.

    Well for the most time of this past month, I spent it in Harris room, doing researches while helping him to make some prototype of the devices I had designed.

    A good thing that happened to me this past month was that my taste slowly started to return back to normal, everyday I could feel a slight change in the taste of food I ate. Thank god that this curse wasn¡¯t something permanent, I didn¡¯t want to imagine what would happen to me if it was a permanent thing¡­ Ugh, it sent chill down to my spine. At this rate my taste would be fully return back to normal when I arrived at the academy.

    But still, how long are they gonna choose just a few clothes? It¡¯s been 30 minutes and they still haven¡¯t done yet.

    ¡°Hey quick choose the clothes already, we don¡¯t have all day you know?¡±

    ¡°Ah yes, sorry princess, we will be done shortly, please just wait for a moment.¡±

    Cecil answered my question as she took a few clothes and ran towards the changing room along with Restia and Melisa.

    30 minutes later.

    I was grinding Cecil¡¯s foot with my toe as I asked her ¡°Didn¡¯t you just said for a moment? Or did I hear it wrongly? What the hell did you guys do in the changing room huh? Answer me!¡± I put a bit more force to my toe.

    What can I say? I am really pissed right now.

    ¡°Ouch ouch please forgive me! Princess please I beg you! Ouch ouch my feet!!¡±

    The other two girls who saw me in rage, took a few steps back, afraid that they also would receive my rage.

    ¡°Um p-princess w-we are very sorry, we just- HII SORRY!!¡°

    Restia was trying to explain themselves but I glared at her with a yakuza like face and she went hiding behind Melisa¡¯s back.

    ¡°You don¡¯t have to explain it to me, I know that Cecil is the one at fault here. She must have used you as a dressing doll! She always did that to me whenever there¡¯s a chance, every cute maid in the castle also have became her victims.¡±

    I almost forgot about Cecil¡¯s bad habit.

    Maybe because I was training in the mountain for months and rarely saw her.

    The last time she tried to make me her dressing doll was when it was Leon¡¯s birthday party, but I hit her on the head before she could do a thing to me.

    After releasing all my anger on Cecil¡¯s now almost crushed foot, we left the shop. But a few moment later I halted my steps. Scanning the surrounding area.

    Someone is watching us.

    But from where?

    I can faintly felt his/her present but cannot find his/her location.

    To think that someone is able to hide from me who had gone through hell training from that old hag.

    Dangerous.

    That¡¯s the first thing that appear in my mind.

    Someone really skilled is obsersing us right now.

    And most probably have no good intention towards us¡­

    No, seems like it only toward me.

    Assassin

    But who? I never made someone hate me enough to want me dead.

    But I can think of some people who want me dead, even though they didn¡¯t really have a grudge against me.

    They are only afraid that I will become a troublesome enemy in the future.

    Heh, interesting.

    Let¡¯s see how this will play out, shall we?

    ¡°Princess, why are you smiling? Did you see something funny?¡±

    Cecil who was behind me also followed my example and started to scan the area.

    ¡°No, it¡¯s nothing. Let¡¯s continue our shopping, we don¡¯t have much time left because of you.¡±

    ¡°Ah uh yes¡­ I am sorry.¡±

    Part 3

    Three days before Armored Turtle docked in Tuan City.

    A black cloaked man silently, as if trying not to attract any attention, strode along the street of the market place in Tuan City, cautiously scanning the whole area with his sharp eyes, confirming no one followed nor paid any attention to him, he headed to the small alley next to a food stall on his left side.

    The man just kept walking deeper and deeper into the dark alley like maze until he reached a dead end, as if the wall in front of him was just an illusion, without giving it a second thought he walked pass through the wall.

    Behind the wall was a simple room with only a candle on top of a round table as the source of light.

    ¡°Welcome Commander Marco.¡±

    A man in a ninja like garb suddenly appeared out of nowhere and greeted the man.

    From under the hood, a man with a long scar on his face smiled at the ninja. ¡°Tenny, it seems you have improved your skill again since the last time we met.¡± Said Marco as he sat on the chair.

    Tenny gave him a slight bow ¡°Thank you commander. So what business brought you to my humble home today?¡±

    Marco gestured him to sit as he explained ¡°I have a mission for you.¡± Taking a piece of paper from his pocket and put it on the table ¡°A dangerous one.¡±

    Tenny took the paper and frowned as he glanced at the drawing on the paper ¡°A little girl? Dangerous??¡±

    ¡°Not just a little girl, she¡¯s the first princess of Whitestar family. Ariel Whitestar, I heard recently he gained the rank of Emperor in Seven Sword Stars sword style.¡±

    ¡°Emperor rank¡­ That¡¯s will be really difficult¡­¡±

    ¡°Don¡¯t worry, I am not telling you to assassinate her with normal methods, I don¡¯t think those will work on her. That¡¯s why I permit you to use that thing.¡±

    Tenny just gave a nod of affirmation and then Marco continued ¡°Good, that girl is currently on a ship called Armored Turtle heading to the capital and in three days that ship will stopped in this city for a while to resupply. Don¡¯t attack her just yet, wait till the ship depart again and you can attack her when she was in the middle of the river, so that she won¡¯t be able to move freely.¡± He then took two scrolls from his pocket and put them on the table ¡°Use this scrolls to force her out to the deck.¡±

    ¡°Understood, what will commander do now?¡±

    ¡°We were busted by that girl when we were almost done with our mission, so now we are forced to return back to the empire.¡±

    ¡°That¡¯s unfortunate.¡±

    ¡°Well. better leave now, our ship will depart soon. Immediately contact me when you are done.¡± Marco stood and walked toward the entrance, or rather the wall he passed through before.

    Chapter 9 : Trasks Attack On The Port (UNEDITTED)

    Part 1

    ¡°So, where are we heading now? We only have less than 50 minutes before the ship depart again.¡±

    Well, though I believe captain Juan won¡¯t dare to leave without us or any other noble brats, at most maybe will only made him pissed off, but still I don¡¯t want everyone think I am a spoiled noble kid who does as I please.

    ¡°Hmm we didn¡¯t really think anywhere else except for the tailor shop¡­¡±Cecil put a thoughtful expression on her face and continued ¡°Let¡¯s just wander around and see if we can find something interesting being sold.¡±

    Wandering around in the crowd while assassin is lurking around waiting for a chance to attack¡­

    Oh how bold of me.

    Well I don¡¯t really mind it though, I am kinda looking forward for whoever that assassin to attack me.

    Huhuhu this is really exciting.

    Hey wait, why exciting? Did I turne into an M!? Since when did my personality become twisted like this!?

    Nononono I am not an M! I am just looking forward to fight the assassin! This must be because of that old hag, fighting with numerous monsters in the mountain must have turned me into a battle maniac!

    That damn old hag!

    I quickly shook my head, trying to brush off those thought out of my mind. ¡°Sigh, Alright.¡±

    We wandered aimlessly through the market place, stopping at a few food stalls that sell some traditional local foods I never saw before, though I didn¡¯t buy any of them and just saw the girls ate them with envy in my eyes.

    I really hate this curse¡­

    A few accessory merchants called out to us and tried to sell their wares, I didn¡¯t really have a fancy with accessories, so I couldn¡¯t appraise whether they were good or bad, but in the eyes of an amateur like myself, most of their wares were made from good material and crafted beautifully.

    And as expected of merchants, whether they were in my previous world or in this world, when they saw our nice clothes made of a good quality materials, in an instant they knew we were loaded with money and tried to give us a rip-off price on their wares.

    I ushered the girls to visit some other stores when we met such a merchant.

    Well, in the end this was kinda good way to relax and relieve some stress for the girls. No wonder though, one full month trapped on the ship without anything to do must have made them bored to death.

    Should I teach them magic?

    They can spend their time on training.

    With that they won¡¯t feel bored and won¡¯t bother me when I work.

    Hmm good idea, let¡¯s just do that.

    After spending the rest of our time wandering around in the market place, we went back to the port, when we were on our way there, we saw many people running from the port toward the city. All of them were in panic and fear was pictured on their face.

    ¡°Something must have happened in the port.¡± I muttered to myself and turned my gaze towards the other girls, it seemed Cecil and Melisa also felt something was wrong, their expression turned serious ready for battle. Meanwhile Restia looked clueless as she tilted her head.

    ¡°Bring any weapon?¡± I asked the two maids.

    Both of them nodded as their answer and out of nowhere a short sword and a pair of daggers appeared on their hands, the short sword for Cecil and the daggers for Melisa.

    ¡°Melisa, just protect your mistress, I and Cecil will take care of the rest. Let¡¯s go.¡±

    After Melisa nodded in agreement, I took a sword from my ring, an enchanted sword which I obtained from the treasure room in one of the dungeons in Galabas Mountain.

    This sword was a very rare weapon enchanted with fire, holy, sharpness, and fortification, each of them were quite powerful. If I were to sell it in the auction hall in Agatha City, probably I would get tens of thousands of gold.

    We darted to the port slipping through the panicking people, as soon as we reached the port we were greeted by the scenery of a battlefield.

    City guards helped by adventurers were fighting against dozens of monsters that looked like Turtle combined with Rhinoceros, height about 145 cm, turtle shell on their backs, standing with two bulky legs, head of a rhinoceros, four sharp claws like fingers on each limbs.

    In an instant I recognized those monsters

    ¡°Trask!¡±

    I am really confused now.

    Despite their scary look that capable of making any children cry and wet their pants, Trask was a peace loving monsters that usually lived on the river side far away from any human settlement.

    What the hell is going on here!?

    Why all these Trasks suddenly attacking the port?

    I turned my gaze toward the river and saw many Trasks were heading toward the port.

    Damn it! They are still increasing!

    At this rate the city will be overrun by these Trasks!

    This is too abnormal.

    Something or someone must have caused all of this.

    ¡°Cecil! Catch this!¡±

    I threw my enchanted sword to Cecil and with incredible dexterity she caught the sword on its hilt while it was still in mid air. As soon as she caught it, in reflex she swung it a few times.

    ¡°Wow this sword is amazing¡­¡± commented Cecil in awe.

    ¡°Use that sword, a normal sword like yours won¡¯t do much against them.¡±

    These Trasks have a very high defense, magic resistance and unbelievable strength.

    Normal metal like iron, steel or silver can¡¯t really pass through their defense.

    That¡¯s why the city guards who used weapons made of these metals, and low rank adventurers who can¡¯t afford weapons made of high grade metals, are having a hard time defeating even a single Trask.

    No wonder the adventurer guild included the Trask on a rank B difficulty monster.

    But it¡¯s not they didn¡¯t have any weakness.

    They are weak against fire and lightning based attacks.

    Moreover they are slow which make their attacks easy to be evaded.

    That¡¯s why the city guards and adventurers haven¡¯t died yet, even though they are overwhelmed by the Trasks.

    At most they get small injury here and there.

    ¡°You can admire that sword as much as you want later! Go help the city guards evacuate the civilian! I will check the ship!¡±

    Without hearing her answer, I dashed toward where our ship, Armored Turtle was docked. With my full speed it only took me a few seconds to cover the distance between where we were to the dock area.

    Our ship was overridden by the Trasks, the crew along with the adventurers that were hired to protect the ship, were trying to clean the path out of the ship,

    it seemed they wanted to evacuate the passengers into the city, but they were outnumbered by the the Trasks that kept climbing onto the ship from the water.

    I glanced at the other ships that were docked near Armored Turtle and found they were also in the same situation.

    What a pain.

    I can just use my magic to wipe out all of them in an instant.

    But I am sure I will also kill everyone in the port along with the Trasks.

    Meh can¡¯t be helped.

    I have to do this the hard way.

    Cut them one by one.

    But I have to be fast

    Or else many people will die.

    This is maybe a good time to use them.

    Since I bought them from William or should I call him Harris now. I never really have a chance to use them.

    Those equipments will boost my speed by 400%.

    With that much speed I doubt even the old hag is able to match me.

    With a single thought of wanting to equip the entire set of armor, in an instant a full set of white Valkyrie armor materialized itself on my body replacing my entire clothes. I also materialized the long sword from the sky knight series on my right hand.

    Let¡¯s start!

    Part 2

    On one of the rooftop of the buildings in the port, an invisible man was standing watching the battlefield that was occurring all over the port district.

    He was particularly observing a girl with blond hair, with incredible speed which the man barely able to follow and could only saw a blur, the girl was charging straight towards the dock where many ships were being attacked by the Trasks.

    ¡°Fast¡­ as expected of Seven Stars Sword Style, always concentrating on speed¡­¡± Commented the man.

    The invisible man was Tenny.

    As soon as he got the information that Armored Turtle had docked on the port by one of his informan, he immediately move to observe his target.

    He found his target was on her way to the market place, he hide himself as he watched the girl every  movements looking for any weakness, habit, or any kind of information that could help him to complete his mission.

    Though he knew there was only a little chance of him getting any useful information considering the limited amount of time he had, but still he wouldn¡¯t give up even if there was only one percent chance.

    He also tried to quietly approach the girl to test her ability, and maybe assassinate her if there was an opening he could use, but as expected of an Emperor rank swordsman, when Tenny approached the girl as soon as she exited the tailor shop, she immediately notice his presence.

    Thankfully he used one of that thing abilities to make himself invisible, so the girl couldn¡¯t find his location.

    But all of that had changed, he didn¡¯t know why nor did he care, he intended to fully take advantage of the Trasks attacked on the port to gather as much information as possible.

    ¡°!!?¡±

    Tenny exclaimed in surprise as he saw the girl suddenly disappeared.

    When he watched the girl charging toward a large galleon ship,which he guessed Armored Turtle, the girl suddenly glowed for a moment and then she disappeared from his view.

    He tried to look for the girl, but he couldn¡¯t find her even her shadow, the only thing he found was a strange phenomenon that happened on the Armored Turtle.

    All the Trasks which were attacking that ship along with the people onboard, one by one, almost at the same time were cut in half.

    A moment later the girl that he was looking for, appeared out of nowhere standing next to a bulky man who almost jumped backward in surprise while pointing his sword at her.

    The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

    His eyes widened as he noticed that the girl clothes had changed into a white female armor.

    ¡°Cyber Armor!?¡­ Commander, you never told me she is an Arolder.¡± Tenny grimaced as he shook his head in displeased.

    Arolder was the name given to a very few people who were able to use Artifact from the ancient civilization.

    These Artifacts were very powerful items, mostly weapon and armor, were very powerful and had their own egos who choso their own Arolder.

    That was why for every kingdoms and empires, Arolders were highly sought because of their value as military assets. Just like an emperor or god rank of magic or martial arts, Arolder also had the power to change the result of a war.

    The Vakyrie armor that Ariel wore right now was created by Harris based on Cyber Armor which was categorized as Artifact, so even though it wasn¡¯t compete yet, the Valkyrie armor Ariel wore was also can be categorized as an Artifact..

    As for how did Tenny know about Ariel¡¯s armor was a cyber armor, it was because he was also an Arolder, and his Artifaact¡¯s ego was the one who told him about Ariel¡¯s armor.

    The thing that Marco, the scar faced man, had permitted him to use was his Artifact, a cyber armor just like Ariel¡¯s but with different special abilities, which one of them was he was using right now, the ability to make himself invisible.

    His cyber armor was a bit special compared with the other, its abilities were mostly more suited for spy/assassin based job rather than straight combat. With its abilities he even could assassinate a king in hisown chamber without anyone noticing it if he wanted to, because of that Helios Empire valued him more than other Arolders.

    Though he had to be very careful not to let anyone knew about its existence, after all Arolder was not an invincible being, if Helios empire enemies were to find out about it, he would regard him as a very dangerous person and would most likely hunted him down at all cost, that was why he was restricted not to use it without permission of his superior.

    ¡°This¡¯s gonna be one hell of a mission¡­¡± Tenny muttered as he grimaced knowing the success rate of his mission had gone down to the extreme.

    Part 3

    With one strong kicked to the ground, I launched myself towards the Trasks that were attacking Armored Turtle.

    This armor is really awesome!

    I never move this fast before.

    Everything in around me seems to have stopped moving.

    It feels as if I have entered a different world.

    It¡¯s very hard to notice if someone is moving..

    No one but I myself can move freely in this world.

    My first target is any Trasks blocking the path out of the ship.

    I should try fighting that old hag with this armor.

    I find only there are only three Trasks who block the path.

    They are fighting with a party of adventurers trying to get them out of the way.

    Huhuhu I am sure I can beat her with ease.

    No, I should stop this now.

    I have to concentrate on dealing with the problem in front of me first.

    I got my focus back and began to scanned the area around the Armored turtle.

    On the stairs which connecting Armored Turtle deck and the dock, stood a party of 6 adventurers, a balanced party with 2 swordsman, 1 knight, 1archer, 1 mage, and 1 priest, fighting 3 Trasks that were blocking the path to the dock.

    And it seemed they had managed to injured the Trasks quite badly, I could see black scorched marks from fire magic on their green skins, red blood oozing out of the cuts that were inflicted by the two swordsman, one of the Trasks even had an arrow stuck in the eye. All of those injuries had weakened the Trasks.

    Now if I think about it, wasn¡¯t Captain Juan said that the adventurers protecting the ship are high rank?

    If that¡¯s the case than, they should be able to handle these Trasks even without my help.

    Oh well. That doesn¡¯t matter right now.

    My first priority is to evacuate the passengers which most of them are children into the city.

    With a single slash from my long sword, the three Trasks were cut in half, not a single drop of blood nor resistance as if they were made of air,

    I took a glance at the long sword in my hand. se Trasks.

    <Grandine, The ruler of the sky>, one of the weapons from Sky Knight Series.

    So far, this word was the most dangerous sword that I ever wield.

    From Harris¡¯s memories, all of them, from armor to the smallest accessories, were made from the same material Whitril, a super top grade metal from the hardest of the lightest metal that existed in this world. It had the properties as the best conductor and amplifier for spirit energy (Mana), it was also increase the effectiveness when using magic or any related abilities that used spirit energy.

    The strange thing was that there were no memories on how he created or where he obtained the materials from, it was like a blank spot. What he understood was that he created them, their properties, special abilities and knew it was incomplete.

    I also found a few other blank memories. It was like someone or the most likely was he himself erased them from his memories to prevent any important information being read by someone who could use <Mind Reading>, just like that court magician from Helios Empire.

    Anyway back to the topic, this Grandine was most likely the sharpest sword in this world, if you put the tip of the sword on top of a top grade metal bar like adamantine, with just the pulling force of gravity, it would slide piercing the metal bar as if it was made of tofu. So Trask¡¯s turtle shell wasn¡¯t really a problem for me.

    As its special abilities¡­¡­ well, who knows? Even Harris didn¡¯t know what special abilities it had, according to his memories, to awaken most of the sky knight series abilities, first I had to complete the armor which meant looking for a compatible soul for its core.

    Whatever, let¡¯s think about that later.

    As I was in mid-air, the sight in front of me made me grimace. On the deck I saw the crews of Armored Turtle, the rest of the adventurers party, and a few personal attendants of the other noble kids, were fighting the Trasks.

    What made me grimace was quite a lot of the crews of Armored Turtle were on the deck floor, lying on top of their own blood. Hopefully they weren¡¯t dead yet.

    Meanwhile the adventurers and the few personal attendants could hold their ground pretty well despite being outnumbered.

    It seemed the children and other non-combatan crews were hiding inside the ship, I could sense many small presence of children from behind the entrance door that were guarded by two adventurers, ready to dash out of the ship when the path had been cleared.

    As soon as I land, I darted to my next target, two Trasks on my right that was fighting with a butler, I slipped between them, cut the two Trasks with one slash and darted again to the nearest Trask.

    I continued cutting every Trask until there was only one two left, both of them were attacking Captain Juan and a few of his crews from the front and back, but even though they were in bad position, they still managed to give the two Trasks quite a good fight.

    Without much thinking I darted to the two Trasks and cut them down, as soon as I finished and lowered down my sword, the flow of time went back to normal or my perception of time? Whatever it was called, one by one the bodies of the Trasks I had cut before, were split into two and slowly fell to the ground.

    No one moved, fresh blood were flowing out of the two parts of the Trasks creating a large pool of blood. The people who were fighting the Trasks before could only stare blankly at them.

    I approached Captain Juan from behind and called out to him

    ¡°Captain.¡±

    Juan was so surprised and jumped while turning back to face me and pointed the sword at his hand at me as a respond.

    ¡°W-Wha!?...¡± He stared at my face for a few second and as if something struck his mind, he yelled ¡°Princess!!... Ah, sorry about that, it¡¯s just that you look¡­ different¡­¡± He muttered the last word as he scratched his head.

    What the hell is he talking about?

    Is it because of my armor?

    Well yeah, I know its design is quite unique

    But I don¡¯t think anything strange about it.

    Haaa whatever, this is not the time to ask something useless like that.

    ¡°Do you know what¡¯s going on here?¡±

    Juan shook his head and said ¡°No clue, these Trasks just appeared so suddenly from the river and start attacking the ship. Uhh princess, did you¡­ ¡± He glanced at the Trask dead body near us.¡±Did this?¡±

    ¡°Yes, but let¡¯s talk later. We have to hurry and evacuate everyone to a safe place before those Trasks attack again.¡± I took out a bag from my ring and gave it to him ¡°There are potions and other medicines inside it. use them to treat any injured people.¡±

    Including the priest, there were only a few people on this ship who could use healing magic, for them to heal everyone that were injured would take most of their spirit energy, which would be a very bad thing considering our situation right now.

    Though my healing magic was far superior to anyone in the ship and could patch them up instantly, not that was an impossible thing to do, but for me to engage the Trasks while I had to keep casting healing magic was a bit¡­ inefficient? That was why I gave him the bag so that the priest could preserve their spirit energy, and used them later for emergency situation.

    Juan stared at me and the bag with eyes full of curiosity, he seemed to want to ask me about something, but he swallowed back his question and nodded ¡°Alright.¡±

    Turning her back facing his crews and the adventurers who still stared blankly at the corpse of the Trasks, Juan started yelling a few orders at them which snapped them out of their daze.

    Even though all the Trasks on the ship had been killed, they understood that they weren¡¯t safe yet, so as soon as they heard Juan orders, they began moving following his orders without any question.

    Now then, I will leave the rest to Juan.

    To evacuate everyone safely into the city, I need to clean the path.

    So my next job is to eliminate any Trask near the ship.

    But to cover such a large area with just a sword will be too troublesome.

    I don¡¯t want to run all over the place cutting them one by one just like what I did earlier with the Trasks on the ship.

    The situation on the port was still in chaos but it was a bit better than before. A lot of civilians seemed to have evacuate into the city, though they were still coming from the river, but seeing the corpse of the Trasks here and there, I could tell that their numbers seemed to have reduced quite a bit.

    When I turned my head to one one side of the port, at  a place that looked like an open market that sold marine goods, I found Cecil was running towards a party of adventurers in a pinch of being attacked by three Trasks.

    And with a single slash, she jumped to the closest Trask and beheaded it instantly. The adventurers who saw this were in shock and just stared at her, but it didn¡¯t take them long to recover and began to attack the remaining Trasks.

    To behead a Trask so easily with just a single slash. It seemed the sword I had given to her had worked like a charm against those Trasks.

    While I was watching Cecil¡¯s fight, I heard a lot of footsteps and the sound of clanking metal from the road that was connecting the port area and the city. I turned my gaze over there and a few seconds later a small army of 500 man wearing heavy armor came into my sight.

    In front of them leading the army was a young man in his mid twenties, with his high grade red and gold shining armor that looked very expensive, he stood out like a sore thumb among the soldiers who wore deep blue heavy armor.

    Is that reinforcement from the army?

    The young man in who wore the flashy red and gold armor, which I presumed to be the commander, as soon as he entered the port area, he began to scan the surrounding area as if to evaluate the situation on the port. After awhile he started to point at some directions and gave commands to his men

    Well, they are going to make my job easier.

    Chapter 10 : Evacuation

    Part 1

    With a single thought I replaced <Grandine> with a long bow from the sky series. This long bow name was <Trizt, The Elemental Rainbow>, just as its name implied, it used spirit energy to create an arrow of any elements of your choice, and its special abilities were still unknown just like <Grandine>.

    This was my first time using this bow, so I wanted to try shooting it on a lone Trask that was far from anyone to make sure I could handle this bow.

    It wasn¡¯t that hard to find such a Trask, it was in the middle of vandalizing a merchant carriage. Thankfully the horse that pulled the carriage and the merchant who owned it, seemed to have escape before the Trask attacked the carriage.

    I put my spirit energy into <Trizt> and willed it to convert into a lightning arrow, slowly a light blue arrow formed on the bow, pulling the arrow which strangely felt like a jelly, I aiming carefully at the Trask¡¯s head and realesed it.

    With a lightning speed the light blue arrow flew straight to its target, if someone from my previous world saw this scene, they would probably think what I shot just now wasn¡¯t an arrow, but a blue plasma beam from a plasma gun.

    The result was beyond my expectation, the arrow went through the Trask¡¯s head, it also created a hole on the side of the merchant carriage that was also in the path of the arrow, a few seconds later a smoke started coming out of the carriage and then turned into fire, burning the carriage into ash.

    Woah!

    I am glad trying the bow first before firing it near anyone.

    I only put the minimum amount of spirit energy require to create the arrow into the bow.

    But its destructive power is really dangerous.

    I can¡¯t imagine what will happen if I put my spirit energy to the maximum output¡­

    When I saw the result of my attack, I changed my mind and replaced <Trizt> with a normal bow from my ring. Okay, it wasn¡¯t a normal bow, it was a rare enchanted bow the same as the sword I gave to Cecil, though not as strong as that sword, this bow was enchanted with medium lightning/wind and piercing magic, but compared to <Trizt> It was a very normal bow,

    I also took a quiver full of arrows from my ring, a good thing I still had them stored from my mountain training with the old hag, hanging the quiver on my back, I took an arrow and shot it straight to the head of a Trask that was about to attack a city guard from behind.

    This time the arrow didn¡¯t passed through the thick skull of the Trask but its tip only went halfway, after that the Trask jerked and roar in pain as a pale blue light of electric current spread through all over its body, cooking it into a well done steak.

    ¡°Wow! Nice effect!¡± I spontaneously exclaimed with a grin as I saw the Trask slowly collapsed to the ground.

    After that I used 10 more arrows in the quiver, about 50 arrows in total, killing every Trasks near Armored Turtle before Juan led everyone on the ship to evacuate.

    Because the passengers also seemed to have brought along their luggage with them, which most of them were children and as you knew children¡¯s body were small, their luggage obstructed their movement causing the evacuation to proceed very slowly.

    Moreover most of them were in panic and tried to push each other to the side making the situation more chaotic. Shouting out loud at them, the Armored Turtle crews and the adventurers tried to calm them down and told them not to push each other because it was dangerous.

    But as if the children couldn¡¯t hear or just ignoring their shout, the children kept pushing each other until one of them almost fell into the river. But thankfully Juan, the nearest adult from where the kid was, dashed towards him and managed to caught him before it was too late.

    After pulling the kid back to the ship, Juan seemed to have reached his limit and blew his top, his face turned into a demon like face, roared at the children and threatened to throw them into the river if they didn¡¯t listen to his orders.

    The children seemed to have shrink in fear, no one dare to complaint nevertheless to disobey his orders after that. though it was still slow but the evacuation was proceeding smoothly without any further incident.

    As for myself, I kept shooting down any Trasks which tried to approach the group.

    The commander in shining red and gold armor quickly noticed the group as they rushed towards the city. Pointed his finger to the group he shouted an order to his men, I didn¡¯t know what it was, but after that about twenty of his men dashed towards the group. Maybe he ordered his men to help us evacuate.

    I exhaled in relieve as I saw the group entered the city, thanks to my one shot kill no Trasks were able to approach them. I didn¡¯t really count how many arrows I had used, but when I took glance at the quiver on my back, I found only 6 arrows were left

    44 arrows

    It means I have killed 44 Trasks with them.

    Plus the one that I killed on the ship¡­ about 23

    So in total I have killed 67 Trasks

    That¡¯s quite a lot.

    If I were in a dungeon, I must have cleared all the monsters in the first floor.

    But even so¡­.

    I turned my attention to the river, many more Trasks than I had killed, were heading towards the port

    A hundred¡­ two¡­. Three¡­ four¡­

    While I was gazing at the Trasks, from far quite a distance I felt a familiar presence fast approaching, turning towards where the presence came from I saw Cecil was about to jump to Armored Turtle, from the way she jumped I could tell she was aiming to land next to me.

    ¡°Princess! Do you know where Harris and Debby? I can¡¯t find them among the people who evacuate earlier.¡±

    Before I could say anything, she had voiced a question to me as soon as she landed nect to me.

    Now that she mention it¡­

    Hmm¡­ I can¡¯t remember seeing them anywhere too

    Wait¡­ I feel that I have forgotten about something¡­.

    If Harris and Debby couldn¡¯t be found anywhere, than that meant they were in Harris room when the attack happened, and because his room was sound proof, they didn¡¯t realize the commotion outside.

    So in conclusion they were still in Harris room and kept working without knowing the ship was being attack by Trasks.

    I slapped my forehead as I realized this fact.

    ¡°They must be still in Harris room. Let¡¯s go get them.¡±

    Part 2

    My name was Ramdal Halan, the current head of Halan family, a low class noble family that lived in Tuan City. Just recently I was promoted into a commander, I was considered one of the youngest commander who got promoted at the age 26.

    Today, about 15 minutes ago, a city guard came to my office with an emergency report. It seemed the port was being attacked by Trasks.

    I was a bit surprised when hearing the report. I never heard Trasks attacking a city before, and everyone knew that Trask was known as a peace loving monster, you even could walk next to them without worry they would attack you.

    Well, it was a different story if you attacked them first, but even so they never attacked human settlement.

    Moreover I also heard their numbers were numerous and kept increasing by the minute.

    So without any delay, I relayed an order to my second in command to get my men ready for battle, I also sent a few messengers to inform the other commanders about the situation and just in case I also asked for reinforcements.

    In only 15 minutes my second in command along with 500 soldiers in heavy armor had gathered in the training ground.

    Wearing my prided red and gold heavy armor which bestowed by the lord of Tuan City for my new appointment as a commander, I went to the front and started telling them the general idea of the situation.

    ¡°Just now, I got an emergency report from the city guard informing me that the port was under attack by Trasks. I know what you are thinking right now, but I am afraid we don¡¯t have much time. Their numbers are still increasing and you know what that means.¡±

    After confirming my men were ready, I nodded at my second in command and shouted ¡°Move out!¡±

    The distance between my barrack and the port could be reached in 10 minutes by jogging or in five minutes if we run at full speed, but I opted to jog to preserve our stamina for battle ahead of us.

    On our way to the port we passed many panicked civilians, I also overheard a party of adventurers questioning a sailor and immediately rushed to the port after hearing the cause of the commotion.

    We were greeted by chaos as soon as we entered the port, just a few hours ago a place where many activities and festivities going on had turned into a war zone, battles were happening everywhere, destruction, blood, dead bodies whether human or Trasks were lying around all over the place.

    Even though I describe the situation like that, after hearing the numbers of the Trasks were numerous, and after considering the ability and number of city guards stationed in the port, and lastly the time of our arrival. I thought the damage caused by the Trasks would be devastating, but seeing there were more Trasks dead bodies compared to humans, about 3:1, caught me by surprise.

    But the next moment I found the reason why there were so many Trasks dead compared to humans

    Not too far from where we were standing, a maid, no, it would be more appropriate to call her battle maid, wielding what looked like an enchanted sword, was slaughtering every Trasks she found.

    From the techniques she used and battle style which focused on speed, I knew she was the user of Seven Stars sword style, moreover I could tell she wasn¡¯t just your average martial arts. At least her skills should be on the saint rank level.

    Wait a minute. If she wore a maid outfit then she must be a personal attendant of a noble. But why was she here fighting the Trasks? Shouldn¡¯t she protect her master instead?

While I was halfway directing my men, from the edge of my vision, a strange blue light flashed something flash flew towards a lone Trask which attacking a carriage, hitting it on its head.

    My eyes widened in disbelieve seeing the scene in front of me. At the Trask¡¯s head where the blue light hit, a big hole as big as my fist had formed killing it instantly.

    After a few seconds, the carriage which was attacked by the trask earlier, was also on fire after getting hit by the blue light that was piercing through the Trask¡¯s head.

    I quickly turned my head towards where the blue light came from, in a distant on one of the ship that were docked, a shadow of small human was standing at the edge of the ship. I strained my eyes to get a better look at the shadow.

    It was a shadow of a little girl, her age was about the same as my daughter about 8 to 9 years old, she was wearing a white armor which had strange design but it was beautiful and elegant, perfectly fitted with the little girl, I wasn¡¯t a pedophilia and had a wife and kids okay, who was also very beautiful and had elegant and noble aura around her.

    In her hand I saw a white long bow, the first thing that crossed my mind after seeing the white bow was an Artifact. Only Artifact had that kind of destructive power, if so than it explain everything, that blue light earlier must be an arrow from that bow.

    But where did this girl get that Artifact?

    The law stated that everyone who have found or posses Artifact should hand it over to the kingdom.

    No matter if they are nobility or commoner

    Or else a heavy punishment will be waiting for them If they were find out hiding it

    Of course the kingdom won¡¯t take it without giving any compensation

    Just say it that the kingdom will buy it with a large sum of money from you

    I should concentrate on the Trasks first. I can question the girl after all of this over.

    While I was thinking all of that, I realized that the white bow on the girl hand had changed into a normal looking wooden bow, on her back I also saw a quiver filled with arrows which I didn¡¯t see before.

    And with the new bow and arrows, she started killing the Trasks near the ship. It seemed that new bow was an enchanted weapon, because whenever she hit a Trask right on its head, sparks of blue light like lightning started spreading all over the Trask¡¯s body.

    I exhaled in relieve after knowing she had changed the Artifact bow with a normal enchanted one

    After seeing the destructive power of her Artifact, I was worried the girl would keep firing with it. it would be disastrous if she randomly shot that thing and incidentally killed someone.

    But it seemed the girl had some common sense not to use her Artifact bow in a place like this, not like some snooty little brats who wanted to show off a new toy.

    My second in command suddenly called out to me and pointed at the side of the ship where that little girl was on. I turned my gaze to where my second in command had pointed to and saw a large group of people, more than a hundred of them which mostly were children, were coming down from the ship and heading towards the city while escorted by sailors and adventurers.

    At first I was actually wanted to send 50 of my men to help them evacuate, but seeing the girl from before killing any Trasks which tried to get close to them, which really impressed me. The girl mastery in using bow was really superb, she only needed one shoot aimed at their head, which was always 100% hit rate, to kill them in an instant.

    That was why I thought it would be useless to send that many soldiers, so I only called 20 of my men and quickly sent them away.

    The number of the Trasks on the port right now had been significantly decreased thanks to everyone effort. Though mostly the battle maid doing, right now she was heading to the far side of the port and still kept slaughtering Trasks as she run, as if they were nothing but insects that could be killed easily by just a stomp.

    Even so when I turned my gaze towards the river I hardened my expression. On quite the distant away from the port hundreds or even thousands of Trasks were heading towards Tuan City.

    I hoped that the reinforcements from other barracks could arrive before them.

    Part 3

    We were in a small corridor inside Armored Turtle and was about to go downstairs where Harris room was located, but I halted my steps and turned around and face Cecil who followed me from behind.

    ¡°You go upstairs and checked every room, find if anyone haven¡¯t evacuate yet. I will go downstairs and do the same while getting Harris and Debby.¡±

    ¡°Okay.¡±

    With a single nod Cecil started climbing the stairs meanwhile I continued my way downstairs

    In 5 minutes I finished checking all the rooms on the lower floors. Fast? Well, yes it was. I doubted Cecil would need more time than I did.

    With our ability to sense presence that allowed us to feel presence of any living being around us, such a task was as easy as walking in the park. We really only needed to walk in the corridor to sense any presence in those rooms.

    Afterwards I went to Harris¡¯s room and explained the situation to them.

    After I finished explaining everything, Debby muttering to herself saying ¡°Eh? Trasks attacking human settlement?...¡± she tilted her head as thought trying to remember about something.

    But after a few moments she gave up as she shook her head. She then shot a questioning glance at Harris ¡°Isn¡¯t there a book with something like that written on it? I remember reading about it in our shop before, but I can¡¯t seem to remember the detail.¡±

    Harris frowned and put a thinking pose with his right hand index finger and thumb rubbing his chin. ¡°Is that so? Hmm, no, nothing comes up.¡±

    There¡¯s no way Harris know about it

    Moreover because they are quite far from the port, I don¡¯t have to worry about damaging any property or involving any bystanders.

    ¡°Also don¡¯t forget that this Cyber Armor¡± I gestured to the white Valkyrie Armor I wore ¡°Will amplified the effects of whatever magic or skill I use as long as it related to spirit energy by 200%. Just imagine what will happen to this city If I were to use <Thousands Reapers>, at the very least half of the city and everyone inside it will turn into minced meat.¡±

    Debby flinched after hearing my explanation and nodded in understanding  ¡°I see¡­ ¡°

    ¡°We should get out of here now.¡±

    ¡°What about the workshop? Should we let it here or do you want to store it back to your ring.¡±

    After making my decision, I pointed the spatial ring on my right hand index finger towards the equipments and tools inside the workshop and absorbed them into the ring, leaving noting but empty air.

    Chapter 11 : An Elven Boy

    Part 1

    We were greeted by Cecil as soon as we reached the deck

    On her back were hanging two magic bags and I recognized both of them

    One of them was the magic bag I had bought in the magic tool shop in Agatha City

    And the other one, I saw it once in Restia¡¯s room

    Maybe she went back to our room to pack our things while checking the rooms on the upper levels

    As we approached her, I turned my gaze to her right side, a boy with short blond hair, pale skin, beautiful face, and had a pair of long ears, was staring at me.

    An elfen boy

    I see. He must have been hiding in his room when the Trasks attacked the ship and didn¡¯t know everyone has evacuated to the city

    It was a good thing that I told Cecil to check the rooms on the upper levels

    Or else he would be left alone inside the ship

    I looked at the boy more closely

    He was wearing a beautiful light green mixed with yellow tunic, a native Elven style, by seeing his very well made and expensive looking garb, I knew he wasn¡¯t a commoner but a noble kid.

    Under the beautiful tunic his body was trembling and I could see fear pictured in his beautiful green eyes, his small trembling lips was opened slightly as thought he wanted to say something to me, but nothing came out of his small lips.

    Hmm strange kid¡­

    Shouldn¡¯t elf used to fight with monsters?

    After all even though he is still a child, he is an elf and not human children

    Not like human, elf and beastman who live in harsh environment where monsters are everywhere, must have taught their children on how to fight with monsters.

    Fighting with monster should be part of their daily activity to gather foo and materials.

    But why is he afraid just because the Trasks attacking the ship?

Though I didn¡¯t know what they were angry about.

    Even though their entire bodies were submerge in the water, but sizing from their heads that were on the surface, I estimated their bodies were as big as the giant monsters I fought for my emperor rank test in Gabalas Mountain.
