《Invincible in other world》 Prologue - Transported to a different world Human life is a machine that runs on predefined path. You born as a baby, learn common knowledge, get education, get married, start a family, raise your children and then you die. It is an endless cycle that goes on for generations. Although this is not the case for everyone but if you ask me my life so far has been nothing but following that normal path. I was born into an average family. We were not too poor neither rich. It was a simple family of four a father, a mother, a brother and me. My father died when i was a child. From that point it was my mother who took care of me and my brother. Soon my brother got a job and started helping my mother. From then on i was always told to get myself educated and get a good job and to work hard to live a proper life. I never understood the meaning of living a long normal life. If you ask me i would rather prefer living a short but happy life. So far i have been walking on that normal path. I am just four months away from my college graduation. I always felt that there is something that is missing. I always felt a certain emptiness inside me. I always thought of it as boredom and tried to distract myself in my studies. But everything has a limit. Every tub would start overflowing once it is filled with enough water. I feel like i am breaking now with everyday. At the moment, I am walking on the sideways of the road returning to my home. As i hear sound of vehicles, feels fresh cold air on my face i think of the dinner. I live with my mother and my brother has a apartment of his own. One of us has to live with our mother because she has a disease in which she can not move her body well. I was thinking about what to make for the dinner tonight. "Jane Get back here" Suddenly i heard a scream from behind me. A mother was shouting at her daughter. The daughter named Jane is running away from her. The kids have it easy they don''t have to worry about their life or anything. I thought. But this scene turned really bad as the daughter ran towards the road and without realizing that she is on the road she kept running. It was not until that she was at the middle of the road she realized that she was on the road. She just stood their stunned not knowing what to do as traffic passes by her. Her mother''s screams got louder and her face became paled white in the fear of losing her daughter. I thought of watching the scene as a bystander with bunch of other people who formed a crowd. Everybody is whispering with each other. Some people are telling the mother on what to do but nobody is taking a step to help because they are afraid of losing their own life. I thought of leaving but then i saw the horrible expression on mother''s face and for once in my life i thought to stray away from the normal path. I looked at the mother and said. "Hold this" I gave her my bag and rushed towards the daughter. One by one i passed the vehicles and got to the daughter. I carried her on my arms and started running towards back to the mother. As i got closer to the edge of the road i saw a truck heading towards me. I knew i am not going to make it so i pushed the daughter away from the truck towards her mother. At the end i did not see anything but the headlights of the truck that covered my vision and prepared myself for upcoming death. I closed my eyes as truck goes through me. The mother hugged her daughter while crying as she recovered from the fear of almost losing her daughter. But her expression got worse as she thought of the person who gave up his life for her daughter. As she looked towards the road not only her but whole crowd had a strange expression on their faces. There was no body, no blood or nothing that would look like an accident has happened here. It was at that day, 20 year old Den disappeared from this world. Next Chapter Chapter -1 : First Battle Author''s note: First of all, I like to thank the people who supported me on my first chapter or prologue. I did not really expected so many views on just a prologue. I was going to upload this chapter a long time ago but i was having problems with my internet so i couldn''t do it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I dont know what happened but i know i am still alive. My eyes are closed. I can still feel life in my body. I was breathing. I am able to move my limbs. So i opened my eyes slowly. I am shocked at the scene in front of me. Instead of traffic, hospital, hell or heaven i could only see trees. It looks like i am in a forest. I tried to look around a little but all i could see was bunch of trees and an endless forest. '' Where am i ?'' I dont know whether to feel good because i am not dead or bad because i don¡¯t know what happened. As i just stood there for a while, i heard something from behind me. I turned around to look at the direction where i heard the noise from. In a matter of seconds, Something that looks like a bear came out from the deep darkness of the forest. It looked like a bear but it is not. It is something that i have never seen before in my life. Although, it''s body structure is just like a bear but there are some differences. Instead of two he has four eyes, two at the left and other two at the right side of his head and they are red colored like blood. He also has bigger size than a normal bear. Specially his head is really big, maybe it is because of his teeths. His teeths looks like sharp knives which would easily pierce a human body. It is glaring at me with it''s blood red eyes ready to kill the prey in front of him. My legs started shaking. Even though i wanted to run i wasn''t able to move my body. In a matter of seconds the monster started running towards me with an incredible speed. '' Damn.. I have to move'' When it got close enough it jumped towards me aiming at my neck. I tried to dodge but he caught me by my neck. My throat was in his jaw with his teeths piercing me. "Aaaghhh" I screamed as i felt intense amount of pain. I struggled for minutes. Strangely enough i am not dying. Even the bear is confused. It is trying really hard with all the power in it¡¯s jaw to sink it¡¯s teeths deep in my throat. It¡¯s teeths did pierce my throat but they did not go much deeper and with those sharp teeth it can easily crush a normal human''s flesh and bones. I don''t remember my body being this sturdy. Whatever the cause, the bear can''t sink his teeths more than he already did. He loosened his grip on my throat and moved away from me creating a little distance between us. I stood up and touched my throat. I felt blood coming out of the wounds and there is some flesh that is missing. . I didn''t get much time to think as the bear rushed towards me with even greater speed than before. He rammed into me with all the power in his body and sent my body flying. I think i got some serious internal injuries. But i am still alive. "GROOOH......." The bear screamed loud in anger because the prey in front of him was still breathing. My heart is beating much faster than it ever did. I am not feeling fear or pain. My brain is only focused on how to survive. When you get into a situation like this, your brain only focuses on surviving. I prepared myself for his next attack. I know i can¡¯t run away from him, he is too fast and he can catch me easily. But i still have to do something. I have to live, no i want to live. He rushed towards me again but this time i rolled out of his way and bear crashed into the tree behind. I ran straight towards a nearby stone. It has a really sharp edge to it. The bear rushed at me again with open jaw. I sacrificed my left hand to his jaw. This time the bear is using all the power in him to rip off my hand. " damn............" I again felt intense amount of pain as his teeths pierced through my flesh reaching my bone. I hopped on to the back of the bear while my hand is still in his mouth and wrapped my legs around him from his back. It is like a choke hold position you often see in wrestling. I start to hit his head with the stone while aiming at it¡¯s eyes. It is a desperate attempt but i have no other choice. *hit..hit..hit...hit...hit¡­.* I kept hitting his head. "die you piece of shit" *hit..hit..hit...hit...hit¡­.hit..hit..hit...hit...hit¡­.* I finally broke through his skull. Bear realized that it is getting dangerous for him tried to let go of my hand. I used every single drop of strength in me to keep my hand in his jaw so i don¡¯t have to worry about his teeths injuring any other part of my body. The bear looked like a bull trying to get me off of his back. "die....already" *hit..hit..hit...hit...hit¡­.hit..hit..hit...hit...hit¡­.hit..hit..hit...hit...hit¡­.* Finally there is no sign of life in bear anymore but i keep on hitting him. My brain is telling me not to stop, maybe i am too scared of thought that he would get up again. After a while i stopped hitting him. His face has become a total mess. You can''t even call it a face anymore. I sat down on the ground while resting my back on a tree. I touched my throat once again but there is no wound. There is only blood. My hand is also healing. I can see the tissue of flesh forming themselves slowly. ¡°So i can even regenerate now huh..¡± For a while i just stayed there. This was probably the most fearful and painful experience in my life and one of many to come in future. Next Chapter Chapter-2: Mentally Broken? Part-1 After resting up a little and let myself heal. I started walking in random directions. Soon enough, i found a pond with clean water. I drank some water from the pond. It was the best water i drink in my whole life. I calmed myself down a little before taking another sip of cold water. It was then that i noticed my reflection in the water. I was shocked to see my face. It was me but i looked much younger. It is the same face i had when i was around 16 years old. I used my hands to touch my skin to check whether it really is me. ¡°just what is going on here.¡± I was confused about this whole situation but i put that thought away for now. My first priority is to get out of this forest to somewhere safe. I was afraid that there may be other monsters roaming around like the one before. I stood up and started walking in a random direction in hope to find some human life in this forest. ¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­... I always used to watch those survival shows in which they tell how to survive in a jungle. They alway warn you about how can not having sense of direction may easily lead you to circling over the same spot. I always thought that if i get into a situation like this i can get myself out without much difficulty. I now know that i was naive and idiot to think like that. It has been 7 days since i started walking in random directions however i did not find anything resembling human. However, i did find wolfs,goblins, more bears and some other random monsters but unlike before i did not engage in any kind of battle with them. I just changed my direction when i saw them from far away. ¡° here again¡­.¡± It is now 13th time that i came back to the same pond i started walking from. ¡° ahhh.. I am really hungry..¡± I also did not ate anything for last 7 days since there was nothing edible in this forest. I feel like if i have to walk for one more minute i would even eat dirt. I wonder why i did not lose much fat even though i am constantly walking around. ¡°well lets give it another try.¡± If it is not for my strong will to live i would have killed myself by now. Anyway, after walking around for few more hours, i finally got out of the forest and could see a village at some distance away. I started running towards village. I saw two guard at the entrance of the village. They started walking towards me as soon as they noticed me. ¡°HALT..¡± One of the guards shouted at me. I stopped my feets at that place. The guards came near me so i said to them. ¡°ummm.. hello sir i just want go inside the village.¡± ¡°Are you an adventurer?¡± *what..what is an adventurer.* I thought. ¡°no i am not.¡± ¡°Then, why did you come out from the forest? It is not a safe place for a civilian.¡± I have no idea what i am supposed to say to that. As guards saw that i am not giving any response to their question, they became wary of me. One of the guards then said. ¡°Do you have a status plate or anything that can be used as your identification.¡± *status plate?* Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. It has already been an hour. I am still sitting at the ground outside the village. I was hoping that guards would pity on me and let me inside the village but they didn¡¯t bother to do anything. They didn¡¯t mind me sitting there as i was not interfering with their work. At that moment i saw some hope as four people came out from the village through the entrance. It looked like they are going towards forest. They are three males and one female. Mans are dressed quite well and they also held some weapons like swords and knives. The female however has no equipments on her and her clothes also tattered. She was also bounded by chains on her legs. The guards did not say anything to them and let them go out easily. *Are they the adventurers?* I thought as they are going towards the forest. They passed by me, ignoring me as if i was nothing but a stone on the ground. The girl stopped her feets when she saw me and stared at me as if asking me what i was doing here. ¡°Hey you stupid slave why did you stop all of a sudden?¡± ¡°ah..i-i am sorry¡± The girl started walking again when one of the man shouted at her. It looks like she is a slave girl. ¡°Gran, I told you not to waste money on this useless slave girl. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. We can use her as meat shield if things become dangerous and also she will be useful at night.¡± ¡°hahaha...right..¡± I can see slave girl shivering in fear from their comments. Soon enough they entered the forest. I followed them because i have nothing better to do. I kept a distance between us so they would not notice me following them. I don¡¯t want to invite meaningless trouble. ¡°hah...i hope we can find those wolves soon. I don¡¯t want to stay at this place much longer.¡± ¡°We should not have taken this wolf subjugation request. It is too hard for us.¡± ¡°Come on. Don¡¯t be a coward. We can do it.¡± I am listening to their conversation as i follow them. *Wolves..* I saw wolves before when i was walking around the forest. They looked really dangerous to me so i stayed away from them. The slave girl was quite all this time. She was just walking with an expressionless face. ¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­.. It has already been several hours since they are trying to find wolves in this forest. The sun has already sat and night has enveloped the forest with the darkness, *do they not have map or some kind of tracking device with them?* I thought as i sighed. I was tired from walking another day.Soon, they stopped at one place and set tents around a campfire. Maybe they are going to stay the night in the forest. Next Chapter Chapter -3 : Mentally broken? Part -2 After setting up the tents. The three men are chatting with each other while the slave girl is making food in a pot over the fire. I am hiding behind a tree. *The food smells nice. What is she making?* I thought as i am drooling over the smell of the food. ¡®growwwl¡¯ Even my stomach is growling. I am really hungry as i have not eaten anything for past 8 days. *I wish they left some of that* I was thinking of sneaking at the night to get some left over food when they all will go to sleep. I was too absorbed in my thoughts that i did not notice that the slave girl is looking at my direction for a while now. As i noticed her gaze, i hid myself behind a tree. Thankfully, it is too dark to see in this forest but maybe she still felt my presence. I was hoping that she would not alert the three mens. I peaked a little from the side of the tree. She just resumed her work normally without causing any commotion. *sigh¡­* I took a deep breath before i continued to watch them. ¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­¡­ It is around mid night now. All four of them have gone to sleep. After eating the food, the mens were talking to each other making plans about tomorrow for a while but soon the three man headed to their tents. They are all asleep now. The slave girl is sleeping outside. I guess the poor treatment of slaves is something normal in this world. I think it is also good for the slave girl because none of the men made their moves on her. Maybe they were just tired from walking around all day. Anyway, It is great that something like a rape scene did not happened here. If those men did try to force her, i would have definitely come out to help her. I am not so low let something like that happen in front of me. Well let¡¯s put that thought aside for now. What matters the most is food. I am hungry. I moved towards the ashes of burned wood. I looked to find the slave girl looking at me with her eyes wide open. ¡°shit..¡± I quickly ran towards the trees. ¡°wait¡­..¡± The slave girl started chasing me but i was too fast. I quickly hid myself in the darkness of forest. I could see the slave girl looking around between the trees as she lost my presence. ¡°HEY YOU. What are you doing? You are disturbing my sleep.¡± One of the man, i remember his name was Gran came out from his tent. ¡°I am sorry. I did not mean to disturb your sleep. Then i noticed that Gran was looking at the slave girl with lustful eyes for a while now. The slave girl also noticed that and is shivering in fear. His eyes turned red as he shouted. ¡°DIDN¡¯T YOU HEAR ME? I SAID GET OVER HERE.YOU BITCH!¡± The slave girl got scared even more and started moving slowly towards Gran. When she got close enough, Gran grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him forcefully. The girl staggered a bit because of the sudden force. Gran showed a very stupid smile as he put his hand on her cheek. ¡° Hey you are a slave right?¡± ¡°...ye-yes¡­¡± ¡°Then you will do anything to please your master right?¡± ¡°........ye-yes¡­.master..¡± ¡°Then get down on your knees and beg to me¡± ¡°wh-what¡­..¡± ¡°I said get down on your knees and beg to me.¡± When he said it second time, the slave girl got on her knees but words are not coming from her mouth. The slave girl made an expression of complete despair as if she would rather like to die than going through this. Even i wasn¡¯t scared that much when i was fighting that bear. Anyway, my limit was already crossed a long time ago. I came out from the forest and showed myself in front of the three men and slave girl. ¡°Hey idiots, how would you like me to kill you?¡± Next Chapter Chapter - 4 : Mentally Broken? part - 3 As i came out from the forest, the men put a dumb look on their faces. They totally didn''t expect that somebody other than them was here. Anyway, I was not in the mood of talking it out with them. ¡°What,Who are you?¡± One of the men said as he was startled by my appearance. ¡°oh! i am just a normal human who is going to kick your asses?¡± ¡°What did you say?¡± Alright, it looks like i got their attention now. Let¡¯s heat it up a little bit more. ¡°I was following you from the beginning and i saw all of your actions. I must say you three are one of the dumbest, filthiest trashes of human life i have ever seen in my life.¡± ¡°Not only you did not notice me following you, you also weren''t able to find wolves. You guys also eat like pigs. Yes, that¡¯s right, you are pigs, calling you humans would be disrespectful towards humans. ¡°And to top it all of, you mistreat a girl like she is nothing but dirt on your shoes. So tell me pigs how would you like me to slaughter you.¡± I can see anger boiling up in their eyes and their faces turned red. Gran came forward and said while pointing his sword towards me, ¡°You..I don¡¯t know who you are but i am giving you last chance to apologize and you may be able to make it alive.¡± ¡°I am also giving you a chance to apologize and you may chose which one of you will die first.¡± ¡°you...HOW DARE YOU?¡± Finally, Gran has reached his limit. He started running towards me with killing intent. He wants to kill me with one strike of his sword not giving me chance to even speak anymore. He is really pissed off. Fortunately, He is not as fast as that bear so i easily dodged him and kicked him on the back of his knee. He fell on his knees. Second men tried to punch me, i dodged him and punched his face as hard as i could. He may have a broken teeth or two. The third men slashed my back with his sword. I couldn''t avoid it in time. That attack left me with a big wound on my back. I can feel blood coming out of it. ¡°gahhhhhh¡­¡­¡± I screamed in agony. Gran took this opportunity to kick me in my stomach with his knee. ¡°gah..¡± I fell on the ground as i gasped for air. They started to kick me over and over again. *Damn..it..* Even though i am better than them, it is still 3 against 1. They are also equipped with weapons and protective gear. It is too much of disadvantage for me. They stopped kicking me after i was covered in bruises and injuries all over my body. Blood is flowing down from a wound on my head. ¡°hah..this made me tired¡­.you shit.¡± ¡°You shouldn''t fight someone stronger than you.¡± I can hear their comments as they walked toward the slave girl again. It was only a second after they left me that my wounds starts to heal. The bruises and scratches are covered by new skin. I can not feel any pain in my body anymore even though it did hurt really bad when they kicked me. I stand up and looked towards them. ¡°Hey you idiots¡­.¡± All three of them were shocked to see me recovered this fast. ¡° What..how can you¡­.¡± Of course, i didn''t let Gran finish his words. I ran towards him while showing my fist as if i am going to punch him. Maybe i was too absorbed by my emotions. I am showing openings from everywhere. Gran did not hesitate this time. He pulled his sword from his waist and thrust it. The sword pierced my chest right through my heart and came out from my back.He thought i was dead as my fist stopped right in front of his face. I can see sweat flowing down from Gran¡¯s forehead. Gran tried to pull his sword back but i grabbed the sword with my bare hand. ¡°wh-what..¡± All four of them are shocked to see my hand moving. You don¡¯t see a human breathing when his heart is pierced. I walked towards Gran as sword goes deeper into me. I pulled Gran¡¯s hair with my other hand and looked at his face with my eyes that are covered by my black hair. I looked like a devil came straight from hell. Gran was scared to death. I smiled as i see the same expression of despair that was on that slave girl a while ago. He did not even notice me pulling out a knife from his belt. ¡°mo-monster..¡± Gran said. ¡°ha..even as a monster...i am better than a pig.¡± I thrust the knife in his head. He died without even making a sound. He lost his grip on the sword as his body fell down backwards. I pulled the sword out of my chest. *SHIT...it hurts* It hurts even more then when the sword was in my chest. The two men were still shocked and showed no response. I did not let this chance go as i threw the knife at one of them. The knife goes in his head right between his eyes. He died instantly. I crouched on one of my knee as i felt pain rushing from my chest. The third men rushed at me with his sword. He didn''t see the Gran¡¯s sword that i am still holding with my other hand because i am kneeling on the ground. When he got close enough i used the sword and thrust it at his stomach. ¡°Aaaaaa¡­.gah..you¡­¡± He cried in pain before life left his body. The fight ends and all three of them are dead. I looked towards slave girl one last time before going into jungle. I don¡¯t want to stay at this place much longer. I was only able to walk a few meters away from the slave girl and dead bodies of three men. I am barely able to stand on my feet with the help of the sword. I suddenly heard something coming out of the trees. It is a wolf. It¡¯s not just one wolf but two,three,ten¡­. *shit..* There are more than hundred wolves. Why is there so many wolves at on place anyway? I knew that somehow i can¡¯t die even my heart that should have been skewered is regenerated. But this doesn''t subside the pain that i feel. It hurts like your soul has been ripped away from you. *shit..i am no better than a zombie.* This world has been testing my soul. Even though you are physically unbeatable, It doesn''t mean you are mentally strong. If this keeps up it won¡¯t be long before i get mentally broken. The wolves are glaring at me. ¡°you want to eat me huh¡­..¡± I did what i can in this situation. I pointed my sword at them and said. ¡°well why don¡¯t you try it you piece of shit.¡± What followed this event was the biggest massacre of wolves in the history. It nearly drove their species extinct in the forest near Niveta village. But nobody found the perpetrator who did this because he was dragged away by a certain slave girl. Next Chapter Chapter 5 : Aria Author''s note : Let''s have some ecchiness. Shall we? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I always fantasized about waking up and finding a naked girl in front of me. But all my life that remained as a fantasy. Since i was too focused on my education and personal matters, i never had time to date any girl. When she looks at me again, I show her a grin which makes her even more red. Well, i don¡¯t think my mind is going to break any sooner if i can see this everyday. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was totally refreshed from that exciting morning. The slave girl¡¯s name is Aria. She was the one who dragged my body to this pond after i passed out from killing hundreds of wolves. As you can see this chapter should have been ended in scenario where Den, Aria and Lisa chat casually at a restaurant. Them coming out of the forest shouldn''t have taken more than half the lines of the current chapter. But i slowed down the pace with this one to explain things in more detail. 2. When i asked Aria about how to prove to the Guild about completion of the quest, she told me that i have to bring the crystal underneath dragon¡¯s tongue as the proof. After that, we have to tell them where the dragon is and they will take care of rest. We decided to use Lisa¡¯s horse to go back to the Guild. She told us this place was slightly far away from her mansion. She will go with us to the town and go back to her home after that. Now it was time to decide the sitting position on the horse. After a lot of discussion, we decided that i will ride the horse. Aria will sit in front of me while Lisa will be on the back. After a while we got off the horse and Lisa handed the horse to one of the servants and we proceeded inside the building. Inside of the building tells how rich Lisa is. There is a big hall with multiple doors at walls. There is a huge stair coming out of the second floor. The wall is decorated with chandeliers. There were several paintings on the walls. Just when i was admiring the beauty of the house. A man with a big moustache and small height came down from the stairs. He was fat like a balloon When he saw me with Lisa he glared at me. ¡°Soooo..,i guess you are Den right.¡± ¡°Yes that¡¯s me¡± ¡°Huh...what a street dog. It was then we saw Rodrik and some guard chasing us on horses. Man, this guy is persistent. He will be fine.¡± I said to her as we move on to our unpredictable journeys and adventures. Next Chapter Chapter - 15 : On the way to Divane town It¡¯s been a week since we left Lisa¡¯s mansion. We are going nonstop only taking breaks when horses has to rest. Our current destination is Divane town which is a 15 day trip from the Niveta town. Our cart is going on a road paved between forest. In this one week, we got closer to Lisa. We talked about a lot of things. So yesterday i told her about my identity and invincible ability. Unlike Aria, she was too surprised of it and started asking numerous questions. It took a while until i answered her questions. Well now she is fine and stopped asking questions. ¡°Wait, i think something is over there¡­¡± I put my hand out as i feel something in the path ahead. I get off the cart and move on my own. There i find five monsters. They have one eye like cyclops and huge body filled with fur. They have the size of an elephant but they are more like gorillas. When they noticed me, they got furious and started running at me. ¡°haaa¡­.this again..¡± I brandished my new sword from the sheath on my waist. I got this sword from the armory of Lisa¡¯s mansion. It is really good sword much better than previous one. Gena told me that you can¡¯t get this kind of sword on shop, this is a treasure. I was really lucky that she gave me this. I took a stance with the sword and dashed in amazing speed that those monster¡¯s eyes can not comprehend. I got behind them really quick while killing one of them. Then i get in the side of one of the monsters and pushed my sword into him. He died on the spot. While other were surprised by sudden death of their comrades, i jumped and landed my sword on a monster¡¯s head. Only two more remaining. The two monsters came at me more different sides, i rolled out of the way and they crashed into each other. I took this chance to kill them in one go as my sword slashes through them. The battle ended up with my shining victory. ¡°Is it over? Master¡­¡± Aria asked as she came out from behind a tree. ¡°I wonder how many times we will have to face them.¡± Lisa said as she put her hands on her waist. ¡°No matter how many times they will come, i will deal with them.¡± Apparently, we faced with a lot of monsters on the way and i had to kill them all. I got a lot stronger after killing the dragon. Although, there were times when situation got rough and i took some serious injuries but because of my ability they healed easily. ¡°but seriously, there are just way too many, i never heard of anyone going on this way confronting this many monster.¡± Lisa said. ¡°Well whatever the reason, we have to go to Divane town. It took us some 15 minutes before we found out a good place to take a break. The forest around this area is not as dense as before and also there is a water source nearby. We jump out of the cart, tied our horses and give them some water and food. After that we set the tents for us three. The arrangement is one tent for me and Aria and another for Lisa. Since it was still daylight, we decided to make the lunch. As the pot was boiling over the fire, Aria comes and sit next me. She locks her arm with mine. I give her a kiss on the head to which she smiles and snuggles up to me. Lisa who is looking at this with dead eyes opened her mouth and said. ¡°You guys, give it a rest a little...I¡¯ve been having problem sleeping at night because of those loud moans.¡± Aria blushed because of Lisa¡¯s comment. ¡°eh..Miss Lisa, you can hear us¡­¡± ¡°I think even the monsters in the forest can hear you¡­¡± ¡°oh no..what should i do master..¡± Aria said as she put her hands on her red cheeks. ¡°I don¡¯t mind..it is good that everyone knows how much i love you Aria.¡± I said as i pull Aria towards me. She blushes and put her hands around me to hug me. Lisa who sighs at this scene and take out plates to serve food. After eating the lunch, we decided to talk about our future plan. We have already decided to register Lisa as adventurer. Next Chapter Chapter - 16 : Weakness We both stood there pointing our sword at each other. His sword is strange. It is curled like snake in the middle. After taking a deep breath, we dashed. Our sword clashed and sparks generated from the friction. I tried to overwhelm him with strength. He lifts his foot to kick me in the stomach. I dodge by moving my body sideways and make a counter diagonal slash. He jumps behind to make some distance. I quickly cover this distance and thrust my sword right in his chest. He dodges by bending backwards. We both take some distance away from each other. ¡°I must say you are much better than i expected.¡± Nestor said. ¡°But i did expect to defeat you here..¡± I said with a grin on my face. We clashed again, this time i broke through his defense and made a slash right through his throat. He dodged by bending his body in an impossible way. ¡°Well you are flexible¡­¡± I said while being frustrated. ¡°huh..there will be too many surprises for you¡­¡± This time he took a stance with his sword. He put his left foot out and pointed his sword at me with his right hand over his head. This time i used amazing speed to attack him but he defended every time. Every time he defend with his sword, a metallic sound can be heard. He is really good with his sword. However, I was able to get through him and make a cut on his cheek. He wiped the blood and looked at me. ¡°You have power but what you lack is experience. Your sword movements leaves too many openings. If it wasn''t for your amazing speed and strength, you would have died by now. As expected of a dragon killer.¡± ¡°wait how do you know that?¡± He smiled and said to me. ¡°You see Den, i maybe young but i am still an army general of kingdom. I am known for tactics and i collect information about my enemy before engaging in battle no matter who he is.¡± ¡°what an army general¡­.¡± That was too shocking for me. ¡°your ability itself is amazing. At first i thought you were just another guy but after observing you for this last week, i concluded that you can be really dangerous enemy.¡± He said as he looked at my wounds being healed. ¡°Last week...you were following us..don¡¯t tell me those incredible amount of monsters on the way was also doing¡­¡± ¡°ah..yes, I wanted to check how strong you are.¡± Damn, this guy is getting on my nerves. I made my move on him before he could continue talking. He dodged me three times but i wasn''t going to stop. Even though i took multiple injuries, i was able to make two slashes on him, one on his chest and second on his right thigh. He takes a short distance to not allow me to continue. ¡°Looks like it¡¯s about time i get serious.¡± He said as his sword started glowing with green aura around it. ¡°Get ready, Den. Today i will show you the weakness of your ability.¡± He said as he came at me with full speed. Our battle became intense with sword clashes and near death strikes. I was covered in wounds in a minute but i didn¡¯t leave him unscathed. We are both breathing heavily. Then he did something i never expected. He looked at women wearing maid clothes and she nods at him. She pulls out two knives from her pockets and moves towards Aria. ¡°Oh..shit..¡± I ran to protect Aria but Nestor got in my way. Aria who realized her intention pulls out her own knife that i gave her earlier. She took a defensive pose as she pointed her knife at the maid. ¡°hahahahaha...Little girl, do you think you can do something with that.¡± The maid came closer to Aria. Aria thrust her knife at the maid but maid grabs her hand and stabs Aria¡¯s hand with her knife. ¡°aaaaaaaa¡­¡­..¡± Aria cried in pain.¡± I became crazy at this and ran with all my might. Nestor took this chance and stabs me in my stomach with his sword and pushes me away with a kick. The maid pulled her knife out of Aria¡¯s hand and stabs into her other hand. Then she takes her other knife and stabs it in Aria¡¯s stomach. Then she takes out her knife from Aria¡¯s hand and stabs it into Aria¡¯s chest. She did it over and over, stabbing all over Aria¡¯s body. Blood is flowing out from Aria, her cries are echoing in the forest, tears falling down her cheeks. I had to do something but i couldn''t with Nestor in my way. Lisa came to save Aria. ¡°Meryl..stop..¡± She shouted but Meryl kicked her in stomach making her lose consciousness. Aria started gasping for breath. Meryl pushed her knife slowly at Aria¡¯s heart. ¡°NOOOOOO¡­¡­¡­¡­¡± I ran with all my might but some black chains comes out of the forest and grabs my foot. I fell down on my face. ¡°what¡­¡± As i looked at the direction where it came from, a man with huge muscles comes out of the forest while holding other side of the chain. He is completely nude, only covering area around his waist. He is wearing a helmet which covers his face entirely. ¡°let me go¡­¡± I struggled but couldn''t let myself out of the chains. Meryl who pushed the knife fully into the Aria¡¯s chest was making a devilish grin. Aria¡¯s eyes wide looking at the sky while her body submitting itself to the gravity fell down on the ground. ¡°NOOOOOOOO¡­..ARIAAAAAAAA...BASTARD...LET ME GO.¡± I screamed as hard as i could and Nestor just looked at me. ¡°Weakness no. 2, Your ability doesn''t give you protection from binding you.¡± I was angry and frustrated. I started cutting my own leg to free myself from chains. I cut my leg and ran on one leg towards Aria¡¯s lifeless body. As i reached her body, i lift her head and all i saw was her lifeless eyes looking at the sky. ¡°nooooo.. Aria ..no.please don¡¯t leave me..please¡­¡± I was crying more than i ever did. I took my sword and ran straight at the Nestor. I was emitting more killing intent than i ever did. Nestor kicked my remaining leg and i fell down on the ground. ¡°Weakness no. 3, Your ability doesn''t control your emotions and you end up making rash decisions.¡± He said and he continued. ¡°You know, Den, even i am not strong enough to kill a dragon alone. I don¡¯t know how you did it but it must be because help from your ability. You are truly gifted but you didn''t use it with full potential.¡± ¡°Weakness no. 4, Your ability doesn''t make you smarter and you will still fall down to tactics like today.¡± I already had enough with his blabbering about weakness. ¡°you¡­..i will kill you..i will definitely kill you¡­¡± I said as anger was taking over my brain. ¡°well, that can only happen if you made it out alive.¡± He said as he looked at my wounds.¡± ¡°what¡­.¡± I was surprised because my wounds are not healing, no they are healing but it is much slower than it used to be. ¡°So you finally noticed. I am not only an army general just because of my talent at sword and tactics but because i am also chosen of the goddess Vena, the goddess of poison.¡± He said as he showed me his glowing sword. ¡°You see this is my ability, i can create many type of poisons and and use it with my sword. The one i used on you is one of the strongest i have. It stops the origin traits of a person and with slight modification it reduces the effect of your ability. This is a race, Den whether your ability keeps you alive or my poison works faster to stop your ability and that is your last weakness.¡± ¡°Weakness no. 5, Your ability can¡¯t counter others ability.¡± He said as he moved towards me. He put his foot on my chest and thrust his sword in my throat. He pulls it out and thrusts it again. He did it many times. Is this it? Am i going to lose everything? Aria..Lisa...my life...everything ends here. No..i don¡¯t want to die ..i don¡¯t want to lose Aria. I was desperate as i reached out my hand towards Aria¡¯s lifeless body. ¡°You truly are a monster huh¡­¡± Nestor said as he thrusts his sword deep in my head. He pulls out the sword and moved towards Lisa. ¡°n---o-....Ar---i.---a.¡± I tried hard to speak. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. I will take good care of Lisa.¡± He said while smiling. They left as my vision started blurring. I was crying. I was angry. I was frustrated. shit.shit..shit..shit..shit.shit..this..this is all my fault...damn..it.. Those were my last thoughts as my vision become dark. Next Chapter Chapter - 17 : Soul searching and realization For a while, i couldn''t move my body. I don¡¯t know how long i was out for or if i was even alive anymore. His poison could have killed me. That was the least of my concern. All i could think about for a while now was how i couldn''t protect Aria and Lisa. Lisa became a good friend to me in this week. I felt sorrow as i remembered her being taken away. Aria was everything to me, my life, my love, my partner. I felt more pain than ever as i remembered her death. But somewhere in my mind i am glad that i died too. This way i can meet her again. ¡°How long are you going to stay like that?¡± A voice echoed around me. I opened my eyes to see myself somewhere totally different than the forest. Is this afterlife? was what i am thinking. There is nothing around me but dark. There is no ground beneath me and i was floating. It is like being in space without any stars or sun. Everything is dark around me. ¡°So you finally opened your eyes. I guess we can talk now.¡± A voice sounds like female but not like human came from somewhere and echoed around me. I looked around but found no one. ¡°Who are you?¡± I asked. ¡°I am the one who brought you to this world, Den. My identity is of no concern for you right now.¡± I was astonished by the fact this person knows about me. I tried to ask another question. ¡°Where am i?¡± ¡°This place is something i created for us to talk.¡± ¡°Am i dead?¡± ¡°You were close to death but i saved you. Your body in the real world is in the process of regenerating.¡± I don¡¯t know whether to be happy about the fact that i am alive or sad at the fact that i can¡¯t be with Aria. ¡°Feeling sad huh...You shouldn''t be surprised at this outcome. This is the result of your own misdoings.¡± ¡°What do you mean? It was that bastard who killed Aria.¡± I said angrily. ¡°While it¡¯s true that Vena¡¯s chosen is also guilty of this but you are also at fault here. I am sure that if she was alive, she would have said the same. I know this because i know her the most in this world. For a while there was nothing but soon i heard it. *throb**throb**throb* It was the beating of her heart. Tears start to fall down from my eyes but this time not because of pain but from happiness. She opened her eyes slowly and looked around her. Her eyes catches me and a smile appear on her lips. I smiled back to her. Then she looks at my wounds and gets up quickly. I hug her with all the force in my hand. ¡°Master..what is going on? Those wounds..¡± I put head on her lap and said to her. ¡°Don¡¯t ask Aria. Just let me rest a little..¡± She looked at me for a while and then said with a smile. ¡°ok..goodnight master..¡± You are always like this Aria. Calm and caring. I am glad you are back to me. Lisa is afraid that if she comes out in front of other maids, they will realize that she is not part of their staff. Lisa quickly infuses mana into her hands and hides behind a pillar. The maids come to the spot where the fork is dropped. One of them picks up the knife. Lisa quickly comes out of the pillar and punches right in the head of one maid. The other one gets startled by her appearance. Lisa kicks her on the legs. The maid crotches down. Lisa does a spin kick on her head. ¡°Alright, two down..¡± There are still three of them. Luckily, they are not close enough to see what happened. But they heard the noises. Lisa runs at them as she infuses mana into her legs. Lisa quickly jumps on one servant with amazing speed. Lisa broke his teeth when she punched him. Two more remaining. But one maid ran away. Lisa takes out other servant as she cursed. Lisa followed last maid with all her strength. She infused all the mana in her legs to increase her speed. The maid runs while breathing heavily. She was just a little far away from the guards room. She looks behind to see Lisa chasing her like a monster. The maid turned blue as she ran with all her might. She sees the door in front of her. This is it if she goes inside the guards in there will see her. But she gets closer to me again. I dodge her again but she quickly follows up with a kick. I doge her again but she continues with a roundhouse kick. This time she caught me. I had to block it with my two hands. I manage to take some distance between us. I realized that I have to get serious if I want to fight her. She is a lot stronger than she was used to be. This time I dash at her and perform a vertical sword strike. She turns her body slightly. But I change the direction of sword in the middle of the attack and turn it sideways. Aria bents backwards. What the hell? She is too good. I knew that Aria would quickly follow it up with some counter so I made some distance between us. Aria gets her body up and throws a knife at me. I blocked it with my sword. It made a metallic sound as the knife flew away after hitting the sword. Aria moved towards the direction where the knife flew away and catches it. At the same time she throws her other knife at me. I block with my sword too and Aria catches it again. Aria looked at me with those predator eyes as she spinned the knives in her hands. Where is my innocent Aria? This is totally someone else. I thought as I wiped the sweat from my face. But on a serious note, I was glad to see her improvement. She has a mindset of a someone who wants to win and survive. Before she was not confident in her own abilities. But now she looks like someone who will find her way to win even in oddest of situations. I grinned a little as I looked at her. She dashed at me this time with even greater speed than before. It seems she infused mana into her body. So I guess she is going all out now or who knows maybe she has some more secrets that I don¡¯t know of. Our fight continued for a while as the sound of metal clashing with metal resounded over and over. We both got cuts here and there. We made sure to not to make a lethal move. But I think It¡¯s time to end this duel. I am satisfied with her results already. I infused mana into my body and dashed. Aria was surprised at my speed. But she quickly took cover. It wasn¡¯t enough for me as I kept coming at her like shadow sticking to her body. In seconds, her movements became dull, and she showed an opening. She follows behind the group as they make their way to the main entrance. They moved between the guards until they reached main entrance. The three guards stopped them at that point and asked them to show their faces. Lisa quickly jumps at the guard who is checking them and punches his face. Since she is close to the main entrance now, it is possible to make it out for her. She makes a run for the outside. All the guards who saw her runs behind her but Lisa is too fast. She can easily make it. Lisa started thinking that once she is outside she will go straight for the forest. It will be harder for them to follow her. She ran with all her might. That¡¯s when a knife struck right into her leg. Lisa fell down on the ground. She looked back in agony and pain. ¡°That¡¯s enough for you..¡± There stood her former maid Meryl. She came closer to Lisa and takes her knife out of her leg forcefully. Lisa screamed in pain. But she doesn¡¯t want to give up, not after coming this close to exit. Lisa infused mana in her body and tried to punch Meryl. Collar started to give ominous aura as the jewels started to shine. Lisa tried to back away but couldn¡¯t as Meryl held her tightly. Nestor slowly puts the collar on Lisa¡¯s neck. Aria looks at me before answering my earlier question. ¡°It¡¯s because of you, master.¡± I feel like I would take her to bed if this goes on any longer so I reluctantly let her go. ¡°Aria, Let¡¯s go.¡± I said to Aria as she grabs my arm and we head out to the adventurer¡¯s guild. Our plan is for us seven to first teleport to a town near Bristol castle called Destrium. It is a town with small population. The other part of the teleportation circle will lead us to that town. We seven will first try to talk with giants before calling rest of the people with us. As we reach to the guild, we met with Brant who was standing there while folding his hands. He looked angry. Well, he always does. ¡°You are late.¡± He says while shouting at me. ¡°I am sorry about that.¡± It is kind of common occurrence. Brant is always trying to find reasons to blame me for something. To him I am nothing more than a rookie who is too high for himself. It doesn¡¯t bother me but it¡¯s annoying when he interrupts during planning. ¡°Come on, Brant. You came here a minute ago yourselves.¡± Keena says as she comes from behind me. Brant clicks his tongue and goes inside the guild. I made my greeting with Keena before going inside the guild together with Aria. There we greeted Mila and the rest. We started revising our plans. ¡°Josh, Kane are you sure you both will be able to handle things here?¡± I asked while still having my doubts. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. This Betro will make sure everything keeps together.¡± Betro says while sipping his drink He will also be here to check that no information about this go out of here. He has some good connections for keeping this from going out. I think is he is here then I don¡¯t have to worry about things. As we continued our discussion, Brant spoke out. ¡°You know you stop pretending now kid.¡± He said to me. ¡°hmm..what do you mean?¡± ¡°Come on, I know you are hiding your fear. I have been watching you for last few days. I know you are trying to pretend that you are strong but in reality you are scared of all this. I know that feeling. We all once were a rookie. The meeting without much problems. We still had a little time before leaving for Birnmin mansion. So I decided to a duel with Aria, hopefully raising our power just a little bit. This was when Brant popped out again. ¡°Isn¡¯t this a great chance? Let me teach you some good skills.¡± It seems like he wanted to teach me fighting. I sighed at his stubbornness. So I let him teach me. The things he taught were no use to me. I have already gotten through that level already. But I still made it look like I am weak. After all, I was afraid that he might leave the team if he gets angry. We decided to leave for the Birnmin mansion after an hour. When we reached to the mansion, Rodrik and Gena were already there on the gate waiting for us. ¡°Good morning, Rodrik, good morning Gena.¡± ¡°Hello, It¡¯s been a while.¡± ¡°Yo how is it going Rodrik.¡± I greeted them while Aria and Carlos followed. When we reached to the place, I saw four people standing around a giant red circle. It looked just like you would see in some fantasy games. It was glowing with light and you can feel a sudden pressure from it. ¡°Are you sure it¡¯s safe, Rodrik?¡± I asked him. ¡°Don¡¯t worry I already checked it. It¡¯s working fine. Just step inside the circle so we can start the process. You will meet my acquaintance on the other side. He will be there to help you out.¡± ¡°I see. So everyone is ready?¡± I asked while looking back at the group. ¡°Honestly, I think it¡¯s stupid idea to make allies with giants. But we don¡¯t have any other choice.¡± Crista said. ¡°I know we will need a well thought out plan for that.¡± I reply while making a wry smile. She smiles back to me confirming her approval. I guess no one has any objection at this point. With that said, I take the hand of Aria and started walking towards the circle. This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings. ¡°Den¡­..¡± Rodrik calls me from behind. ¡°good luck. I will be there in a few days. When I get there let¡¯s kick those Bristol¡¯s asses.¡± ¡°Yeah..¡± After telling our goodbyes, We step inside the circle I breath ones before looking at the sky. The circle starts emitting bright red light. My vision becomes dark as I feel like being sucked by something. I opened my eyes to see sunlight covering my vision. I cover my eyes to block sunlight and looks around. I can see nothing but trees. Strange, it gives me a feeling of Deja Vu. It is just like the first time I came to this world. I looked around to find Aria. I became uneasy when I didn¡¯t see her. ¡°Aria..¡± I shouted. ¡°Master..I am here..¡± I heard her from behind. I looked behind and saw her coming out from between the trees. I ran up to her and hugged her. Soon enough, others also came to this location. It looks like we were teleported near each other but where is this place anyway. ¡°Where is it? It doesn¡¯t look like Destrium.¡± Keena asked as she looked around. She has been to Destrium before. It doesn¡¯t look like this place is Destrium. I guess there is some problem with the teleportation circle. ¡°Wait did you hear that?¡± Mila said as she looked around. ¡°huh..what are you---¡± Brant was saying something but was interrupted by the sudden noise. Suddenly ground around us started shaking. This gives me same feeling from the time I fought with the dragon. We quietly moved toward the direction of the sound. We saw a pathway between the trees. The surrounding ground started shaking more and more. The sweat dropped down from my forehead. I motioned everyone to hide behind the trees. As we looked at the pathway waiting for something, It came or more like they came. There are three of them. They are taller than trees. Their size would make us look like ants. They are without a doubt¡­.. ¡°giants¡­.¡± Crista muttered. Yes, they are the species that we wanted to make allies with, the giants. Even though I said that, I don¡¯t know how to. They have somewhat grey colored skin. They are naked but they don¡¯t have any sexual organs or whatsoever. ¡°How are we going to get them to talk Den?¡± Brant asked me while his face turned pale. I looked around pondering for a while before making decision. ¡°Well, I guess we should use this chance right.¡± I stepped out from behind the tree. ¡°huh..what..what are you doing?¡± Brant said while being perplexed. ¡°master¡­¡± ¡°Stay hidden, Aria, I know you are strong but leave this to me.¡± Aria listens to me and goes behind the tree again. I get in front of giants. They are coming at my direction. But something is wrong they are not stopping. I guess they didn¡¯t notice me. ¡°Hey..Hey..Listen to me¡­.HEYYYYYY¡­..¡± I tried shouting several times but nothing happens. I took one big stone from ground. I poured mana into my hand and threw it with all my force. The stone hit one of the giants and it finally looked down. He noticed me and crouched down bringing his face near me. I block my nose with my hand because of the bad smell coming from his mouth. ¡°HUMAN¡­..WHY..A...HUMAN..HERE¡± It talked. Alright, let¡¯s get started. ¡°Hello there my name is Den.¡± ¡°DEN¡­.HUMAN DEN..WHY YOU HERE.¡± ¡°I have something to talk with your people. Can I see your leader?¡± ¡°LEADER?..ELDER¡­¡± ¡°yes, yes elder..I have something to talk that you may like.¡± ¡°LIES...YOU..HUMANS..DECEIVED US BEFORE¡­¡± ¡°no no..I am not like those people. Believe me.¡± ¡°YOU HUMANS LIE...YOU WANT OUR FOREST¡­.WE DON¡¯T TRUST YOU.¡± I can already feel this conversation going wrong way but I have to do this anyway. ¡°If you give me a chance, we may be able to save your forest.¡± ¡°NO..GO AWAY..¡± It tries to push me away with his giant hand. But it still had strength to throw me away. If it wasn¡¯t for me putting mana to strengthen my body, I would have sent flying away. On the other hand, they got irritated by this. The second giant attacked me by stomping his foot on the ground. I escaped right in time. Now the situation got worse. They are aiming for my life. I take my sword out. I have no choice but to fight here. All three tried to stomp me with their feets multiple times. But I dodged them all. They are strong but nowhere near as fast as me. One of them crouched down to grab me with it¡¯s hand. But I was waiting for this chance. I quickly covered the distance between us and pierced it¡¯s left eye with my sword. I did not take the sword out nor let go of the hilt. The giant got up screaming. Now I was above the ground on a giants head barely hanging myself with my sword. The giant grabbed me with it¡¯s hand and started squeezing me in it¡¯s palm. I felt bones crushing inside me. For last few days, I forgot the taste of pain. Now I remember it, the horrifying feeling that makes you want to leave everything behind. But I wasn¡¯t going to do that, I greeted my teeths. I used all my strength to push away his hand. Slowly it¡¯s hand starts to open up. I looked like some super human trying to fight this huge monster. Once I loosened it¡¯s grip I used my sword to cut off it¡¯s finger. ¡°GUAAAAAAAHHHH¡­..¡± It screamed in agony. I fell down on the ground from that height. I think I broke some ribs. I was injured really bad. The other giant stomped it¡¯s feet on the ground again. I dodged it and struck my sword at it¡¯s foot. It immediately lifts it¡¯s foot and I go for the other one. I hit it¡¯s other foot as hard as I could with my sword. I teared out it¡¯s flesh as I struck the sword deep into it¡¯s foot. This causes it to lose it¡¯s balance, and it falls down on it¡¯s back. The third giant the one that I talked to runs up to me and jumps. It landed it¡¯s fist on me. I dodged but shockwave caught me. My body was sent flown away smashing into the trees. But I haven¡¯t given up yet. I still managed to get up and walked towards it. I pointed my sword at it while glaring at it. The giant looked at me for a second before speaking out. ¡°HUMAN YOU STRONG¡­WE LIKE STRONG...YOU HAVE GREAT WILL¡­¡± What is it talking about all of a sudden? Anyway I should not let this chance go. My goal is not to fight with them but to get them on my side. ¡°Please give me a chance. Let me talk to your Elder. I am not an enemy. I am not here to take your forest. But we might have common enemies.¡± I gave my everything to convince it. That¡¯s right what matters most right now is saving Lisa for me and saving forest for them. The giant thought about this for a while. ¡°HMMMM...I ALLOW YOU TO MEET ELDER..BUT IF YOU DECEIVE US THEN WE WILL KILL YOU.¡± ¡°Thank you, I am not going to betray your trust.¡± A smile floated on my lips. It seemed like all the pain in my body was gone. I was happy to accomplish something, to take step forward for saving Lisa. Aria ran up to me and quickly started checking my condition. She was followed by Keena, Daniel and Crista. I had to calm down the giants who got startled by their appearance. By the way, Brant was frozen at his place with his mouth wide open. ¡°Come on, Brant we are leaving.¡± Carlos called out to him. ¡°Carlos, just who is that guy?¡± Brant asked while still being surprised from what has happened in front of him. ¡°I told you that he is strong, didn¡¯t I?¡± Brant looked at Carlos and then looked at Den. This times his eyes didn¡¯t have a look of anger or hatred towards a rookie who thinks he is a big shot but pure respect to a fellow adventurer. Next Chapter Chapter - 24 : Allies Author''s note : I had time to write so I wrote one more chapter. I hope you like this chapter. Since it would be harder for us to keep up with their giant steps, we rode on their shoulders. It is quite scary and fun at the same time like a rollercoaster ride. Me and Aria are on the first giant, Keena, Daniel and Crista on second and Carlos, Mila and Brant on the third. Brant first refused to ride on their shoulders. So I tried to convince him. For some reason, he immediately agreed when I asked him. Strange, normally, he would try to refuse anything I say and I saw Carlos trying to hold his laugh from behind. Although it is risky since falling down from this height instantly kills you, the view is amazing. I can see setting sun emitting orange light and creatures in the forest running around here and there. It¡¯s beautiful and amazing at the same time. I wish I had a camera with me. ¡°Beautiful¡­¡± I muttered unconsciously. ¡°Thank you, master.¡± Aria puts her hands on her cheeks and blushed for some reason. ¡°eh..¡± ¡°huh¡­¡± Wait, did she think I was praising her? But don¡¯t interrupt this moment. It is kind of interesting.¡± Keena find amusement in this and she didn¡¯t like Carlos and Brant ruining it. But what was that about her calling them virgins. Wait a minute, Is that the reason they always sent me that glare whenever I am with Aria? ¡°Wow, that is kind of lame¡± Crista muttered. It was loud enough for Carlos and Brant to hear it. After that they went into depression for a whole day and said nothing. We build houses for us. It was done quickly with the help from giants. After dinner, I wanted to talk more about plans from now on. But Aria quickly dragged me to bed. Maybe today¡¯s events has affected her. Anyway, with this we are first step through our plan. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Somewhere at a castle a girl with blonde hair was suffering from intense headache. Her face turned into a complete mess. She is going through this for last few days now. It feels like someone is breaking her soul. ¡°ugggghhhh¡­.what is this?....I can¡¯t handle it anymore¡­¡± Her memories are also being vanished from her head. She realized that. That¡¯s why she barely held onto some of her memories so she doesn¡¯t forget who she is. She knows her name is Lisa, her father Rodrik, her mother Gena. Also there was a memory of one more person. ¡°someone...stop...this..¡± She knows that person has helped her before. He was the one who opened the door of her cage to let her fly away. ¡°Den..help..me..¡± She called out his name thinking he would come to help her. But no matter how many times she called his name he never came to help her. She knew that it¡¯s going to become worse with the time. She was afraid that she would lose her mind. She was afraid that will lose her memories. She was afraid of what lies on the other side for her when this ends. But still she wanted to someone to come and take her away. Next Chapter Chapter - 25 : The battle begins The first day here at the forest of giants, I started choosing the 30 giants that I will take with me. In the morning, the first giant that I talked with before came and asked me to choose the giants. By the way that giant¡¯s name is Kino. I was surprised because I thought that they will just randomly give me anyone. So I took our adventurer¡¯s team with me for the selection of giants. ¡°Hmmm¡­.I can¡¯t seem to find any difference.¡± Keena said. ¡°Ha, you just don¡¯t have eyes like real warriors.¡± Brant said while putting his hands on his waist. ¡°Yeah, I don¡¯t have eyes like real virgins.¡± Carlos and Brant dropped their shoulders down as Keena hit his nerve again. Even I am starting to feel bad for them now. It¡¯s weird that they didn¡¯t even go to a brothel or something. It¡¯s seem to be common in this world. Oh well, let¡¯s leave that for now. ¡°I think we should ask them. It¡¯s better if we take the ones who wants to come with us.¡± Daniel said. I think he is right. If we choose someone who didn¡¯t want to come with us then it¡¯ll create problems later on. So I ask them to raise their hands if they want to fight with us. Since we couldn¡¯t come up with anything, we decide to ask Kino for advice. It told us about 50 of the best warriors. So we came down to 50 giants. We still have to remove 20 giants. That¡¯s when one of them spoke. ¡°HUMAN TAKE ME..I WANT TO FIGHT..¡± ¡°eh..yes we are thinking about that.¡± ¡°NO HUMAN TAKE ME..¡± Another giant spoke out. ¡°I WANT TO FIGHT¡­¡± ¡°I WILL FIGHT TOO¡­¡± Soon enough almost all of them started shouting. Kino started to calm them down. It seems they all didn¡¯t like what Bristol family and kingdom are doing with their forest. So when they heard about me fighting them and asking giants to join me, they were all excited. It took us a quite a while before we ended up choosing 30 giants. It was hard to calm down the giants who we didn¡¯t select. But since it was Elder¡¯s order, they didn¡¯t show much resistance. After that we waited for Rodrik and everyone else to come here. Of course, they also teleported like us in the forest. Rodrik who realized his mistake could only apologize. We also didn¡¯t say much about it because it turned out better for us. As the days went by we organized our forces. The mercenaries who we have hired were scared of giants but after some time it didn¡¯t affect them much. From there we counted days until it was time for our battle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the Bristol castle¡­ Somewhere in the Bristol castle was a room for it¡¯s master, the General Nestor Bristol. Currently, the room is filled with noises. ¡°ah...ah...ah...yes..masterrrrr¡­¡± The woman with the black hair moaned loudly as his master took her roughly from behind. The woman named Meryl who betrayed her previous master Lisa Birnmin showed a look of ecstasy as Nestor pounded her like crazy. They were like animals hungry for each other¡¯s body. It doesn¡¯t feel like there is any love or that sort of emotion in Nestor for Meryl. To him she was just his plaything. But Meryl was satisfied with just that. She was five years old when she was brought as a slave by Bristol family. She always loved Nestor ever since she was a kid. When Nestor turned 14 year old his fiancee broke his marriage with him. Meryl was delighted and angry at the same time. She was happy that now there was no one between her and Nestor but angry at how that Lisa girl refused Nestor. It was then Nestor told her to stay with Birnmin family and become Lisa¡¯s personal maid. She was confused at first but she soon realized that it was Nestor¡¯s plan to keep an eye on Lisa. So she became Lisa¡¯s personal maid. She work hard on keeping the mask of good and loyal maid on her. It was all for her real master Nestor. It was hard to hold herself whenever Lisa talked bad about Nestor but she held it in. Both Nestor and Meryl waited for the chance. Nestor wanted Lisa. Meryl knew it and she also wanted her master¡¯s happiness. She was fine even if she is his plaything. She never liked Lisa. She thought of her as someone annoying. If it wasn¡¯t for the fact that Nestor wanted her, she would have killed Lisa by now for speaking badly of Nestor. So when Den and Lisa ran away from their home, Meryl immediately notified Nestor. It was their chance. They acted upon it. Nestor is still waiting for the brainwashing collar to complete it¡¯s work. But Meryl doesn¡¯t care about it. She was just happy that she doesn¡¯t have to act like a mad for anyone anymore and now she can live with her master Nestor. She never refused Nestor. She never complained about her treatment whether as a maid or in the bed at night. She just wanted Nestor to embrace her and keep her with him. Meryl came close to him. ¡°What¡¯s the matter, master?¡± ¡°It¡¯s been a week since I put that collar on her. She is still showing resistance. It¡¯s quite admirable, but it¡¯s taking a lot of time.¡± ¡°But eventually she will give up right.¡± ¡°yes, but the longer it take, harder it is going to be for us. Do you really think that Birnmin family is not doing anything? They must be planning something. That¡¯s why I want to completely make her mine before anything happens.¡± ¡°Don¡¯t worry, master. She will become yours just like I have been yours always.¡± Nestor got up from his chair and took her to bed again. A girl lied down on a bed and looked at ceiling with hollow eyes. The pain she was feeling for days has suddenly vanished. It was more like she can¡¯t feel anything at all. There is no fear like before nor pain. There is no emotion at all. Even though there is a dim light in the room in this night, she could only see darkness.That was all on her mind, deep darkness with a sense of nothingness. She felt empty. She felt she has lost something important. Something that she should know. But she can¡¯t recall it even after trying so hard. She knows that she has to fight. But she doesn¡¯t know against what or why. All she knew that she felt lonely. Even though there should be no emotion inside her, she felt this strange uneasiness. It¡¯s like a voice telling her to not to give up. Was that her own voice? She doesn¡¯t know it. But she felt that it is right to do what it says. But still she knew she was losing herself more and more. That¡¯s why she wanted someone to save her. But who will it be? There are some images in her mind. But she doesn''t remember them. All she wants is that for someone to take this loneliness away. Someone to be the light that erases this darkness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One week has gone ever since we came to this forest. Our preparations are complete. We have all the things we need. ¡°Sir, I have come back to report..¡± The scout we sent earlier has come back. ¡°Tell me¡­.¡± ¡°It is just like we assumed. There strength may be 4000 to 5000. Also they have proper equipment for castle defense.¡± ¡°Good, go back and take some rest..¡± ¡°Yes, sir..¡± I looked behind me. There was Aria, our adventurers team, Rodrik and Gena, mercenaries, giants and other people we got from our connections. A total of 730. It¡¯s much lesser than their army. But we have element of surprise in our hands. We have also planned this out well. We chose the night to be the best time for this battle. We are going to finish this till morning. I breathed the fresh cold air. ¡°Den..¡± Rodrik said to me. ¡°Let¡¯s save Lisa..¡± ¡°yeah, let¡¯s do it¡­¡± I take my sword out and point it towards the castle. Soon my army begins running at the castle. This battle has begun. I closed my eyes. I remembered the moment when I fought with Nestor last time. I remembered his maid Meryl killing Aria. I remembered how desperate I was. I remembered how angry I was. ¡°ma-master..¡± Aria said. ¡°That¡¯s scary..¡± Keena said ¡°You look even more sexier..¡± Crista said. My expression must have turned into like a devil. I opened my eyes and looked at the castle in front of me. I showed a devilish smile filled with anger and killing intent. ¡°Be ready. I am coming for you, Nestor.¡± SPIN - OFF and random questions Author''s note : If you haven''t guessed it yet, this is not a chapter. It''s just me talking about various things throughout the series. I just felt like writing this. There is also a spin off of the series in this chapter or note. Let''s just start with few questions. 1. Aria and Den falls in love too fast : It was the time when I just started writing this fiction. I never wrote anything in my life before. That prologue was the first thing I have ever written. So even though I wrote three pages per chapter, it felt like I have spent days of stuff. So I didn''t notice that I was too fast. Now that I write 7-8 pages per chapter and got some experience into writing, I go back to those chapters and feels like '' yeah, it was too fast, what the hell I was thinking?''. 2. Why haven''t you changed the prologue yet? I never had time to. I already got the idea for the new prologue and it will be much better than the last one. 3. How long are you going to write it? I already know where I am going to end this series. If I keep writing it then we may go as far as 150+ chapters. There is just so much stuff that is on my mind. 4. Do you have plans for other fiction? You have no idea. There 10 different fiction that are in my mind right now. But I am still struggling to handle just two. I am also a person who writes based on the response. There is another series written by me before End of Life in this site. See if you can find it. 5. Is there going to be NTR in this fiction? No, there will be no such things. I hate NTR. I am not going to write that. 6. Did you changed your decision to kill Aria after reading the responses and revived her in next chapter? No, I killed her to bring more anger against Nestor. I never planned to kill her. I knew Den''s weakness will be that he can''t protect others. So I wanted to give him a power that can be used to save Aria. It was supposed to be epic scene Den receiving Aria''s wound. But it didn''t come out that way. Probably, because I was rushing to write the chapter as soon as I can. 7. You ruined the fiction by killing Aria and reviving her next chapter. Chapter 16 and 17 are also the chapters that has most number of replies. So I get the most attention for the chapters that ruined the series. I still think that it gave boost to the fiction rather than ruining it. You can''t write something good without adding some drama in it. Spin off : So before chapter 5, I had different plans for this fiction. But I scrapped it away because I felt like it will too boring. That also resulted in the Aria and Den falling in love too fast. Anyway, so here is how this fiction would have turned out if I kept writing it. You remember the point where Den follows Aria and the three men in chapter 3 and 4 (Mentally Broken?). Aria was suppose to never notice Den following them. When they try to rape Aria, they knocks her out in the process. Den kill the three men and wakes up Aria. Aria only see a glimpse of him but couldn''t see his face properly. She falls back into unconsciousness. Den leaves her there thinking that she will be fine. Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. Later on Den goes inside the Niveta town and goes to the adventurer''s guild. It was supposed to be after a week from the time he saved Aria. He meets with Aria again in the adventurer''s guild. Den knows that she is the slave he saved but Aria doesn''t remember him because she didn''t see his face properly. She thinks he is just a random adventurer. After getting saved by Den, she decided that she will live her life with pride and stop being a slave. She decided to join adventurer''s guild to make life on her own without relying on others. She also hopes to meet her hero who saved her again. She wanted to say so many things to him. Den who obviously remembers her tries to give her some help. "ah do you want some money? It will help you in starting a new life" Den said. His intention was to clearly help her. But Aria thinks he is someone from the town and knows that she was once a slave. Aria who feels like he is pitying her gets angry at him. She hits him with a punch. "Don''t you think I am as weak as before? I don''t need anyone''s help. If you get in my way I will kill you" Aria said. She shows him cold eyes. So that is how there first meeting would have turned out. Later on the story follows the same route as in this story but this time Aria is not together with Den as she goes on her own way. Den fights the dragon and meets Lisa same way he did in this fiction. However, Lisa isn''t a caged lady like before or even a noble. She is an adventurer. A skilled Mage. She gets entangles up with Den. Yeah, so first official heroine would have been Lisa. They decide to conquer dungeons together. Yes, there are dungeons in this world. They leave the town and goes to the nearest dungeon located in the Divane town. Remember the town that was never the part of this fiction. It was suppose to play a major role in my previous idea. They met with Aria again in the Divane town. Aria clearly hates Den but acknowledges his skills when she sees him fighting the monsters. So they make a truce to clear the dungeon. Remember Aria still doesn''t know that Den is the person who saved her. She still hates him from their first meeting. She starts to like him throughout their adventures together but can''t be honest in front of him. She always shows it that she hates him. She also struggles between her feelings for Den and the hero who saved her. So Aria turns out be a tsundere type of character rather than innocent Aria who is devoted to her master like now. So this story was supposed to be a light heart romance comedy with fantasy theme, adventures and dungeons. Eventually more members adds up to Den''s harem as he clears out dungeons. He eventually ends fighting against the Demon lord. Yes, there is a Demon lord in this fiction. So he kills the demon lord and becomes the invincible hero of this world. I felt like this fiction has no plot or any real story and people would eventually get bored of it. So I came up with this new idea and that''s what you see in this fiction so far.
