Brandished his sword he ran to the slime and slashed it before it noticed he came. BUk¡­ something was weird, he saw his didn¡¯t even reach the slime while it was walking slowly to his direction. Are¡­? What was happen? he asked in his mind. He was pondering the reason his body would not move like he wanted. -9 HP He got a hit by slime because he was thinking too long. He slashed and stabbed on the sticky body continuously. -12 HP . -11 HP. -11 HP¡­¡­ He needed 10 attacks to kill this creature. And suffered 5 attacks from the slime. He realized he didn¡¯t have same body like he had used. Because he still thought he was inside his old avatar with his strength, he assumed his body could kill the slime easily. But his first attack didn¡¯t reach the slime at all made him dumbfounded. And now he would need 10 attacks if he wanted to kill the slime. He now had realized how weak he was. After the slime had died, it dropped 1 copper. His exp bar was increased by 2% and filled total 52% exp bar. He need 24 more slimes to level up. This monster was created to beginner, it had a massive number, easy to kill solo, and sometimes monster drop 1 copper. So if a player only grinding on slimes, he wont have to worry about eat. But who could endure killing slime without level up and went to another city for new adventure. He walked around to find more slimes. For every slime, he was lost around 40 HP, so he had to wait for his HP recovering if his HP fell below 50%. And after he had killed some slime his level was increased. He added bonus stat to STR and increased attack to 16. At night, monster in Second Terra became stronger. They got 50% increased for their stats. But they dropped better rewards and had additional experience point by 30%. But level 1 monsters wasn¡¯t very great. After he had reached level 2, he continued his hunting. Every slime only gave 1% exp now. This night Vice only killed slimes. He never changed his target. He spent his night to make field filled with slime corpses. He stabbed, slashed, and sliced every slimed that entered his sight. Because no other players was in this area, he only hunted alone. Using his experiences before he had reseted, he kept kill slimes for 8 hours straight. Sometimes, he got drop that could be sell for money. It usually was used as material to make oil for fuel. Even tought it was low quality. When his satiety was depleted, he ate his bread and continue hunting. Until he got message Ding*

They was different than slimes he found on the field around village. they was stronger and belong to normal monster. They give higher exp and better rewards. but they was weak and slow monsters, he could kill them easily with his skill adapted skill on his new noob body. He found a rabbit from a far was eating grass leisury.. This would be his first fight with agility type monster with noob body. He have to adapt quickly with their attack pattern to make his fight efficient. Noticed his presence, the rabbit tilted its head and then ran toward him. It used its cute pawn to hit him. -13 HP He attacked back. -31 HP If he was keep received damage, he would die if he encountered more than 1 rabbit. So he was trying to evade incoming attack by move sideway then followed with his attack to little rabbit. -32 HP After exchanged blow, Vice was have 74 of his HP remained. Because he wasn¡¯t spend his points to VIT, his max HP was still low, 150. So he have to careful about damage he received. One rabbit fill his experience bar by 2%. He continued his search for monkey. He sweeped every corner of his sign, on ground and on the trees with hope he could find a monkey figure. But he was still unable to find it. He was keep kill every rabbit he met. He saw 2 figures from a certain distance. 2 creature with 2 long ears. He would try his luck and and ran toward one of them. He had tried to sneak before, but it was useless because rabbit noticed him before he could start attack. And he suffered damage before he can landed his attack. So he choosed to ran as fast as possible to slash rabbit with his sword before they attack him. As result he could attack before the rabbit could unleash its attack. -32 HP. But aside from the rabbit he just attacked, the other one started to attack him. He tried to jump backward but its attack still hit him. -14 HP Damn, he cursed. He was still tought he still in his old avatar, that could easily evade monster with that speed. Even surrounded he could easily finish 2 monsters. But with his newbie stats, it was impossible. He return its attack by vertical slash downward to the rabbit followed with another slash to the other one. He attacked by both of them, but he could avoid one of incoming attack by rolled to the right. After desperate struggled, he could finish both of rabbits after drank 1 bottle of with 41 HP left. He exhaled deeply and rested until his HP full recovered. Then he continued his searching while carefull to avoid double encounter. Or he would ran out potion before found the monkey. Damn. After he drank potion and filled his HP, he glared after the monkey that already climbed a tree. This was the fatal mistake if hunting a creature like monkey. It could climb trees and avoid player attack closed range like him. To hunt monster like that, needed long range player like archer or mage, but because he was still in beginner village, he could not do anything to reach the monkey, he could not afford to buy bow, because it was very expensive for him now. And now his chance to catch the monkey or take the slingshot was reduced because the monkey climbed the tree. The monkey looked at him with ridiculing face. The monkey jumped around and rubbed its ass as if it was laughing at him. He could use any item nearby and threw it to opponent. So if it climbed on the tree with a lot of fruits hanging around, it was like doom for close range combat player. By held apples on left and right arm, and its tails, the monkey smirked and glared at Vice. ¡°What?! Wait a sec, little munk?! We can talk peacefully right? I will get your slingshot.¡± Unwillingly, Din walked closer to Vice and sat down. He looked at Vice that was thinking something. Vice thought how to make the monkey released the toy, and he got an idea. He took an apple and threw it to monkey again, even it didn¡¯t hit, it enough to attract monkey¡¯s attention. He got barrage attack again, but he repeated same action over and over. Then barrage attack stopped. He peeked from behind tree again, and saw the monkey ran out apples like he planned. Then he threw an apple again toward monkey. The monkey was confused because no more apple it could throw, then it glanced on his feet. There was an item it could be thrown. *Swisss¡­.* Something flew to their direction and fell to the ground beside them. ¡°Hurray!¡± Vice was happy saw the item, it was slingshot he looked for. And other quest only give him 5%-15%, and it decreased after his level increased until he only got 1% every quest. And when the frog hit him, It dealt 10 damage to him only tickles. The frog killed for next 3 attacks. A frog give him less than 1% exp. Without hesitatite he slashed the plant repeatedly and killed it. It was dropped 7 copper and a . It was item used for alchemy. He glanced at his HP and equipment, only by this sudden attack, he lost a fourth of heath and all equipments lost 4 durabilities. When his stamina below 30% and he felt his power left his body, he returned to the riverside and rest to wait his life stat (Health, mana, and stamina) replenished. He ate a bread to speed up his stamina recovery. Even his health high, 440, but his mana and stamina to little to keep up with his HP. After level up, he realized he now drained every 2 second, so the curse effect halved. And he stayed this night by lied on the barrend land until his skill reached basic level 3. On the dawn he felt his growing proficientcy greatly reduced, so he thought to enter deeper to the cursed area, so this skill would respond stronger. And he still had to reach Chief¡¯s grandfather house, so he walked with 100 meters distance from river or he would lost. He walked between dead trees and saw around. And right, never found any monster this far. Was this place monsterless? As far as he could remember, monsterless area only on inhabitant area, but this place should have some monsters. As he walked in this area he had to eat more often. Fortunately he bought a lot breads before set out his journey he bought 1000 breads for 50 silvers. Well maybe it felt stupid bought that amout of bread. But he didn¡¯t know when he would back to village, so there no problem if he stocked a lot foods. A bread would edible even saved for a month. But the taste is plain, just made for relieve hunger purpose. If he wanted to add other taste, he had to buy ingredient like jam, or cheese. Of course he couldn¡¯t afford buy that fancy item. He had to save when he changed his class on the city later. He ate the bread during walking. Well it was bad manner. But he didn¡¯t care because no one looking. He found a circular plot clear without rooten trees. He saw something on the middle. When he walked closer, he saw pilled up several corpses. They all became full skeleton, without anymeat left. And then he saw its name. Keh ekeehh keeehh ¡­.. A horror laugh could be heard from specter. Drank a small health potion, then he ran and attacked the spectre. But when his sword made contact with spectre body, his sword just passed through its body and give him big ¡°MISS¡±. And he was attacked by spectre again. Everytime he attacked the spectre, all ¡°MISS¡±. ¡°What was I have supposed to do if all my attack miss?!¡± While drown on attacking the spectre, he didn¡¯t see his surrounding that had made him make fatal mistake. HP -60 He attacked from his back, and when he turned his head, he saw one by one another specters appeared from behind rooten trees and formed circle around him. ¡°Crap¡­. Raaaaaaaaaaaaann¡­..!¡± He shouted and ran to river left the specters behind. Even they were normal monsters, if he couldn¡¯t land any hit to them, no way he could kill them. but the specters could kill him. So basically he doomed. Unable to going any further. He ran and kept ran while a mobs of specters chased behind him. HP -62 HP -59 His back attacked because it was fully exposed. And he drank potion again and filled 50HP. Well only small potion he had and it had 1 minute cooldown for next potion to take effect. His Hp only left 20% while he getting closer to river. He peeked behind and saw a lot specters chased him make him ran faster, then he jumped trying to cross the river, but because the river wider, he fell on the river. BYuuURrrr¡­. He kept walked to other side of river. The specters he saw stopped on the border or barrens land and all of them glared at him cried with horror laugh. after he got out from the river, he sat at the river edge and watch the specters unable went any further. So he understand they only could stay in on barren land. He sighed relaxed. But his relax didn¡¯t last long when he saw a silhoute move from upstream on the other side of the river. It moved toward the group of specters. When it passed the group, several specters cried and vanished. And the silhoute returned and passed the group again. And one by one the specters vanished after cried. Vice¡¯s eyes widen disbelief. But one he curtained was all specters killed. And the silhoute became clear as he focused his eyes again. The silhoute he saw was a human, old man around he didn¡¯t know because his hair white with a lot wrinkled skin. He wore normal plain cloth like villager. He was hold a short sword. He jumped cross the river easily and approached Vice. ¡°OH, this rarely to see a young man wandered around this forest, what are you doing here Lad?¡±
