The brown haired woman took him out of the room, but before she did he could see another baby with black hair and pale skin that also came out of his mom, unlike him the woman with purple hair kept her warm and friendly eyes, he kept wondering why she decided to only get rid of him, to his surprise the brown haired woman wasn''t going to put him in another room, instead she left the house completely bringing with her female guards in silver armor. When the wolf entered the town the villagers and even the children held it in great respect, the reason why Akira could understand this, was due to all the villagers bowing to the wolf with respect in their eyes, like they were seeing their hero in front of them, some of the villagers even noticed the little baby with pitch black hair, and taints of blood red hair at the bottom of his hair, hanging from the wolves mouth. The wolf went towards the biggest house in the middle of the village, the wolf used it''s paws to push the door open, inside was a beautiful woman who looked to be in her early twenties, she had shoulder length blonde hair, with hazel eyes, and white glasses on her face, when she noticed the wolf entered the house she had a happy smile on her face ready to welcome him back into she saw the baby hanging from his mouth. ''Oh, she''s quite a beauty, I have to admit she outclasses mostly all the women I have been with in my past life.'' Akira inwardly marks her an S, while smirking inside thinking of dirty things, of course he can''t win her heart while he''s still a child, but he imagines in 16-17 years or so it should be no problem for him. Her expression was one filled with motherly love and affection, something he didn''t receive back when he was a child since his mother died when he was born, and his dad would only beat or yell at him for taking her away, of course into he turned 16 when Akira started to practice Martial arts to the point where he could easily beat his old man up, Akira was never one for violence most of the time...he only threatened his dad not to beat him anymore or else he wouldn''t be responsible for what happens to him, though that was nothing compared to the envy and jealousy he received from other men who tried to bully or fight him in his past life due to his luck with women, this only added to his disgust of other men in generally, finding women a lot better. ''The Black Heart still confuses me, it''s a lot harder to control than my blue orbs for some reason I can''t mix the energy from the black heart itself with my orbs without losing all the strength in my body, if there was someone who used it before that I could ask for tips from this would be a lot easier, with magic I would only need to ask Mother, yet all the known users of The Black Heart have died, therefore I have little choice now I''ll just go one step at a time there''s no need to rush, it''s me that I''m talking about here nothing is impossible for me I''ll master it.'' After his daily workout he heads back home seeing the sun going down, as he enters the village he starts to think about what he has done these last 13 years. ''It contained some text that wasn''t the native language in this world, I don''t know if I was just lucky or if someone put the book there on purpose, but the language it was written in was Japanese through that book I learned that people call the blue orbs spiritual essence the book says it''s unique to only the demon races since demons are born with a set amount of spiritual essence and there is mostly no way to increase it but the reason users of the black heart were so feared is that they were able to increase their spiritual essence just by absorbing souls into the black heart resulting with them becoming more and more powerful adding the other powers of the black heart on top of that ability they were mostly unfathomable to other demons on the same power scale as them, as to why spiritual essence was so important is because with spiritual essence demons can gain different abilities such as teleportation, mind control, fire manipulation, etc. ''Because of this I learned that I''m truly not human anymore I resemble one yet the fact that I can absorb these souls prove me otherwise, my only chances of finding out what I am is searching for those amazons if I was able to speak to one of them directly I''m sure that I could find out what I''m, of course if I were to go searching for them now I''m sure that I would die I''m not nearly strong enough to take on the powerful people in this world I may be a bit talented in magic but if I fought an expert swordsman or Mage I would be trashed in a matter of seconds, let alone among fellow demons so my only option is to push my limits into I become strong enough to crush anyone in my way of revenge.'' After 5 minutes or so an old man came out of the temple he looked at each and everyone of the children infront of him then went to each one of them and had them prey to the shrine, asking them a question. ¡°What do you desire?¡± He asked Enyo first, after giving it a bit of thought she answered him honestly. ¡°I desire peace.¡± After hearing her answer he made a motion with his hands and a blue staff appeared out of thin air, it landed into her hands and shined with a bright beautiful aqua color, everyone who witnessed this event other than Aku were slient, but in an instant everyone started to whipser. ¡°It can''t be....¡± ¡°How could that little girl summon the staff of the war goddess?¡± ¡°Silence!¡± The bald priest eyes started to glow bright green causing the rest of the people near them to stop talking it was as though the aura he gave off would kill them if they let out a word. ¡°You were chosen by The Goddess Of War to receive her Staff because of your strong desire for the world to have peace and to protect your friends, I''m sure that if you train hard enough you might one day master this tool of peace to suceed, you''ll face hardships but never give up on peace.'' She let out a tear to his words and bowed, after that the priest went on to ask the question to the other kids most received nothing while 5 others suceeded the items were nothing compared to what they witnessed a few minutes ago now it was the turn of Aku and Jasper to answer the Priest question, he decided to ask Jasper first. ¡°What do you truly desire exiled Prince?¡± He thought about it for a long time what did he truly desire, being banished from the Palace by The Three Eyed Kings with his sister at such a young age losing everything and barely being able to eat having to beg on the ground for coin watching their family be massacred in front of them only being spared since they were children, the hatred that went through his veins the bitterness he still had in his mouth these past years for being too powerless to do a thing, after 5 minutes or so he had his resolve and answered truthfully. ¡°I...I desire power, power to protect everything important to me power to never lose what''s mine again.¡± After the priest heard his answer a white sword that resembled a dragon with golden markings on the blade itself appeared it gave off an aura fit for only a king making all those near it bow down, the priest almost did so himself. ¡°It''s...just like the history books described it, to think I lived to witness this day it''s..it''s Excalibur!¡± ¡°My new owner what is your name?¡± Jasper stood their shocked for a minute or 2 then was able to barley answer. ¡°My name is Jasper Lockwood.¡± Excalibur came closer to him and spoke. ¡°Rise milord The True King Of The Realms of this age and even the next!¡± Jasper without hesitation stood up taking the sword in his hands and unsheathed it showing the golden radiance of the sword shining so brightly you had to cover your eyes in order not to go blind. After 2 minutes or so he put the sword back in the sheath, now it was finally Aku turn no one expected the local playboy who tried to get a kiss out of all the girls in the village to amount to anything next to the other two who were royalty how could this boy dare to compare. The priest went towards Aku looking at this no manners carefree boy who looked like this didn''t matter at all to him, he held the boy in disgust yet he had to still do his job even if he found the boy unworthy of the honor. ¡°What do you desire?¡± ''Hmm what do I desire riches, money, power, land, women? No those are second to what I truly desire....what I truly desire is...'' ¡°Revenge!¡± The boy gave off an expression filled with hatred for the world and a gaze filled with coldness and bloodlust different from the carefree boy he met a couple of minutes ago, unlike before instead of a bright light flashing in their eyes everything only turned pitch black. Instantly black tattos started to cover his back going near his heart surrounding it completely going up his arms stopping before it touched his hand, he felt a bit of pain but it quickly went away within an instant thanks to the black heart, suddenly a mix of a scythe and sword entered his hands, it gave off a bloodthirsty, murderous, evil, corrupt aura ready to punish anyone in it''s away. Yet this wasn''t over yet, suddenly he felt red energy spreading throughout his whole body burning him from the inside making him feel like he was dying, Aku wanted to scream in pain yet he couldn''t let out a word, inside his body he felt the blue, red, and black aura fusing together he knew it finally happened he succeeded in fusing the dark chaotic energy with his bright blue energy orbs spreading it throughout his body, an aura covered him making the sclera in his eyes change to a pitch black color while one of his iris became a glowing crystal blue color, the other was a Blood Red color, his hair was still black yet, the taints below his hair rather than being a dark red was a bright bloody color that resembled fresh blood, he grew large black and red horns coming from inside his skull quickly, at the same time blue and red/black energy was shooting out of his scar like a volcano, it kept pouring into eventually he lost consciousness, when he awoke his body was back to normal and his scar was fully replaced with the pure black tattoo, a blue window popped up in his face as he was in the middle of thinking about what just happened to him.

Everyone near Aku looked at the monster in the air with a shocked expression, it was a creature out of nightmares it''s face resembled a snake while it''s fangs were dripping acid it was giant almost as big as a house, it''s hazel eyes pierced the soul of anyone who looked at it killing them instantly without even moving, some of the other priests tried attacking the beast only to be eaten, slowly it turned towards Aku. ¡°Now that I''m free it''s time to reclaim what''s rightfully mine the black heart!¡± The Serpent sent it''s large grey tail down towards Aku, Aku could tell that if it hit him he would be instantly killed yet his body was frozen stiff under that Serpents gaze he would be killed without even being able to put up a fight just as It was about to hit him it stopped the reason why was Jasper he sliced at the tail with Excalibur causing no blood to flow of course but still he was able to cause the serpent a tiny bit of pain, the Serpent became enraged that a child would strike him. ¡°Boy you sealed your own fate! I was going to spare you but now I''m angry you shall all die!¡± ¡°I don''t plan on dying today.¡± The serpent slashed with it''s giant claw onto Jasper barley able to guard it he felt his whole body become bloody and sore, losing the strength in his arms and legs within seconds he was sent flying into glass knocked outcold, Aku was filled with rage if he didn''t stand there like an idiot Jasper wouldn''t have gotten hurt this badly silently Aku ran to the monster slashing the creature tail with all his might hitting it like a mindless beast only seeking to kill his target, the scythe like sword drained blood from the serpent unfortunately he was much too weak only making the Serpent more angry that mere food would cause him minor wounds, during this time Enyo was trying to stop the bleeding of Jasper she was mostly unsuccessful due to all the wounds he had gotten. ¡°Die!¡± The serpent moved forward with it''s entire body if this hit it would crush the entire shrine killing Aku, Jasper, Enyo and all the other townsfolk, right when they were about to give up hope a green shadow moved at a fast speed stopping the Serpent with a magic barrier this shadow was the masked lady, her eyes gave off the feeling that it was hard holding back this creature she was getting pushed back the longer she had to block it, it kept getting more and more angry resulting with the creature becoming even more powerful. ¡°Rees hurry up with the spell I can''t hold him much longer!¡± The woman shouted to the green robed priest in agony the old priest was moving his hands in fast motions up, down, left, right, energy was gathering around his whole body only at the last minute when the serpent broke free of her ready to crush the entire shrine did the old priest finish his chant he quietly opened his shining green eyes flying towards the serpent at a fast speed with him 4 other priests in black, red, blue, and white robes they circled the beast trying to trap him in a square area the beast fought back pushing the monks to the very limit, if this formation failed then they had no hope of stopping this beast that was hundreds of times stronger than them. After a 20 minute long battle of minds the formation broke but the serpent did not come out unharmed he was smaller than previously and had a lot less energy the formation didn''t succeed but it did drain him of some of his power, the serpent was enraged but he wasn''t stupid how else would he have kept the position of Overlord if he didn''t know when to back down from a battle, for now he had to leave and treat his wounds slowly regaining his power. ¡°Trash I''ll be back you only prolonged your deaths!¡± When Aku heard those words he was filled with rage that this demon would dare try to get away after what he did to Jasper one of his own friends, he wouldn''t let this beast get off free receiving no punishment for this attack slowly the evil energy that surrounded his body before he passed out came back, long horns grew on his head while this time instead of being red and blue his eyes were a bright golden, Caladbolg appeared in his hands waiting anytime to deliver punishment to this creature in front of it, silently Aku said a few words with a cold expression on his face. ¡°You aren''t getting away.¡± *slash* With a giant leap Aku slashed deep into the monsters back tearing off a giant chunk of skin with that Red orbs of energy filled with spiritual essence was sucked into Caladbolg filling him with power, due to this the beast tripped off the mountain falling into the water, everyone had their eyes on the surface of the water that he had fallen into was he dead or simply playing a trick? The few survivors of this battle were thankful for still being alive yet sad since they lost so many of their own having to tell the ones who passed away families that they died to some monster would be hard for anyone to do, yet if they didn''t do so then they would be nothing but a bunch of cowards so they decided to suck it up and get it over with after everything calms down. Aku quickly went towards Enyo and Jasper wondering if Jasper was dead or alive, when he saw Enyo expression it was filled with fear of her brother passing away like the others, Aku tried to comfort her yet she only turned him away within 4 minutes the priests took Jasper inside the shrine, Enyo and Aku decided to wait outside after an hour or so the priest came back out with good and bad news. ¡°Your brother should be fine with 5 days worth of rest If not for Excalibur blocking your brother''s vital spots from that harmful poison infused attack he most likely would have died, but....¡± Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more. The Priests had sad expressions on their faces, seeing this Aku knew the words to come out of their mouths was going to be a handful. ¡°Your brother''s life as a swordsman is finished, we don''t know the cause but he is unable to see for now you should do your best to take care of him.¡± When Enyo heard this news she broke into tears, while Aku was filled with a new feeling he never felt before and that was guilt due to being the reason that his own friend from age 5 lost one of the most important things in his life and that was swordsmanship, Jasper trained as hard as he did if not even harder to gain back his kingdom from The Three Eyed Kings and now all that effort he spent is going to waste. The priests all preyed for the former swordsman Jasper, immediately they all looked at Aku with a confused expression why did that monster target him? What did it mean by reclaiming the black heart and why did this boy grow those horns out of his skull all these questions were hitting them one after another this one boy is the cause of all this despair therefore they only had one choice left, a young priest wearing a sky blue robe called out to Aku telling him to meet with the rest of the priests by himself in the shrine, hesitant at first he eventually agreed. There was 12 men sitting on golden chairs all looking at Aku, the one to open his mouth first was the Green Eyed Priest. ¡°Do you have any idea why that monster attacked you?¡± Aku could guest why from that warning he received from the Goddess about The Black Heart it would attract all power hungry beings across the realm they would seek him out in order to steal what''s his harming those in the crossfire, still Aku couldn''t exactly state that he came from another world so his only option was to lie and deny everything. ¡°No.¡± The priest had an expression that showed he didn''t believe what Aku was saying. ¡°Why did you grow horns out of your head? Also why did that powerful beast come from within that tattoo of yours?¡± Those questions Aku truly had no answer to so he decided to deny it. ¡°I have no idea.¡± The priests went onto questioning him over the black heart and the other events that happened today, the only answer he had gotten out of Aku was no, that left the priests with two options leave the boy in the village to potentially bring them even more harm or abandon him weighting these two choices in their mind it was an easy option and that was to allow him to stay for now they shouldn''t do anything rash into they collect more information about the boy. ¡°That''s all you may take your leave.¡± He left back out of the shrine and left Enyo to attend to Jasper. Many things were going through his head, the most important one was that he wasn''t going to stay in this village any longer he would leave at midnight when no one could stop him, he would rather travel on his own then risk the only few people he came to care about in both this life and the last, therefore the black haired boy with taints of red had gotten his resolve. 10 hours later Elsewhere A girl was fast asleep next to a boy who resembled her he had platinum blonde hair, and pale skin sleeping in a robe his eyes were completely closed almost like a dead corpse the only thing that told you he was alive was his heartbeats, he just slayed there like a statue but that quickly changed after a minute or two he stood up with a face full of resolve even without his eyesight he believed that he could still reclaim his kingdom and also become a master swordsman those were his goals and he wouldn''t back down, receiving the news of Aku leaving the village they grew up in only made him even more stubborn on attending those goals. ''Aku me you and Enyo promised to leave this village together and become famous figures marked in history, unfortunately you''ll have to go on ahead without me but just wait me I''ll catch up with you soon.'' The Exalted Prince may have lost his sight but thanks to this his path became even brighter to him. 4 Hours later. A blonde haired girl with bright, warm, blue eyes had also strengthened her resolve, moments ago she may have been ready to cry and run from all the bad things happening in her life, but now thanks to the strength she saw her brother show even when he lost his eyesight she was able to carry on with a new tank filled with bravery, she decided that she would help those two in the best way she could, she may not be the smartest or strongest one between the three but what she could do was pick them back up whenever they would fall to despair healing all those who are injured with her light that is her path, therefore she would learn as much as possible from the priests in the shrine about defensive and healing magic. When she is confident in her abilities as a priestess, she would join the side of and apologize to the boy who was only trying to help her when she pushed him away that boys name was Aku Moriarty. The War Priestess also found her resolve she would rid the world of it''s hatred, despair, and darkness with her light. While he was starting to drift to the world of darkness he could feel that Red Energy from Caladbolg invading his body it was closing in on his heart burning his insides more and more, in response he sent his blue orbs directly towards it due to the two energies conflicting with each other he found out who this energy that invaded his body belonged to, it was linked to that Overlord Somo who he killed his best guest was he gained it when he sliced open the Serpent, yet he felt this energy invade his body before he passed out therefore piecing together that the Serpent said the words he was finally free and The Priest from his village telling him that it came out of the newly gained Tattoo on his body, Overlord Somo was sealed in Caladbolg the reason most likely involves The Black Heart as for the threat this Red Energy poses it should be harmless as long as he absorbs The Red Energy completely. It took him 2 hours to drain that energy completely of any influence Overlord Somo had over it the finished result was sparking green energy orbs giving off the feeling of deadly poison, within a minute a blue window popped up in his face.

Checking that the man was wrapped tight in the ropes he went to the girl who was in that magic circle, the girl had long eyelashes, and pink lips that sucked you in even with the small amounts of dirt on her face it didn''t lower her beauty a bit under it you could even see a mole on her cheek compared to some of the other girls he met in this life she was one of the prettiest. Forcing himself to stop looking at her he gathered firewood immediately starting a fire putting her near it to keep her warm after finishing with that he went towards that priest with a long beard slapping him into he woke up the priest slowly bought his face up and looked at the young boy with taints of red in his hair, the priest staring at the boy almost had a heart attack looking into those golden eyes of his. ¡°Who are you?
