《Into the Void ((Status: Dropped))》 Straight out of the military... Sweat beading down his face, he couldn''t believe what he just heard. His face was flushed red with an obvious nervousness about it. In front of him, a girl with long black hair pulled into a tightly wrapped bun and blue eyes, that could pierce the soul, was staring down at his blushing cheeks. ¡°What do you mean no?!¡± The youth blurted out in frustration. ¡°As I told you I¡¯m just not interested in you, Louis.¡± ¡°What are heck you talking about, May?! All I¡¯m asking is why can¡¯t I have dinner with the rest of the platoon.¡± ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Around the time Louis turned 17, he left his small town in Kansas to enroll in the army. It wasn¡¯t that he couldn''t get into college, in fact it was quite the opposite, he was always the top of his class and was even offered a few scholarships. However, Louis was on the heavy side and always picked on for being fat. Determined to change his appearance he enrolled the army, thinking it would be a breeze. How naive he was. He was constantly being pushed to his body''s upmost limits, ready to collapse at any moment; yet, strangely enough he never dropped out. Instead, he persistently chose tougher and tougher courses in order to achieve his goal. Skip to the present (2 years later), from the boy all the others made fun of and referred to as ¡°piggy¡± , he had now transformed into a lean, 6¡¯10¡¯¡¯, rather handsome young man. He had short cropped black hair, hazel eyes, and none of the excess weight he previously carried. So why was this 19 year old guy groveling for food, you ask? No it wasn¡¯t S&M play. Actually, currently he was enrolled in a course known as ¡°Hell¡¯s Gate¡±. With an 80% drop out rate it certainly lived up to its name. So back to the conversation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ¡°I told you, if you don¡¯t run another 2 miles in the next 10 minutes you don''t eat.¡± ¡°But, I¡¯ve already run 25 already. By the time I¡¯ve finished I¡¯ll have done more than a marathon¡ He don¡¯t you just whistle as if you don¡¯t hear me!¡± ¡°Oh sorry¡ I can''t hear whiners.¡± ¡°......¡± ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ¡°Man, you don¡¯t look so good.¡± Louis¡¯ best friend Ryan said with a giant smirk plastered on his face. ¡°Oh shut up! Man you don¡¯t know how hard May just pushed me.¡± ¡°Next time you just shouldn¡¯t back talk her.¡± ¡° *Grumble* Well she had it coming *Grumble*¡± The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.¡°Its that attitude of yours that gets you in trouble¡ Oh by the way I saved you a piece of bread from dinner.¡± ¡°Ryan... you do care.¡± Louis looked up at his friend with watery eyes as if he hadn¡¯t been fed in ages. ¡°Just shut up and eat it. By the way Louie have you heard about that new game Horizon.¡± ¡°Hmm.. yesh washn¡¯t dat the neh game thash jus came out.¡± Louis said with a mouth full of bread. ¡°Yea, but its not just that. I heard that it feels as if you are actually INSIDE the game.¡± ¡°Oh. I heard that too.¡± Horizon the new blockbuster game released by the rising game company Legolas. It promised a full body immersion into the game with all 5 senses. On its opening week, it managed to sell out at around 500,000 copies. Having been released for 2 months, its managed to entice an enormous number of 150 million people worldwide. ¡°So what about it Ryan.¡± Louis stated indifferently nibbling on the dwindling piece of bread. ¡°Huhu¡ I¡¯ve managed to get my hands on two capsules, but since you seem so uninterested¡¡± ¡°What!¡± Louis bursted out spewing crumbs all over his friend. ¡°Dude¡ seriously.¡± ¡°Whatever, so what was that about you getting two capsules.¡± ¡°Yea. A friend of mine hooked me up...Hey don¡¯t laugh! What¡¯cha mean "friend", you do know I have other friends than you¡ Anyway once training is over you wanna join me?¡± ¡°Really!¡± ¡°Yea, I have an extra helmet anyway.¡± The two arduous weeks that seemed like an eternity, finally ended, thus concluding their training, and marking the beginning of the two friends adventure into the new world of Horizon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Extra: ¡°Yo, Louie, is it really alright to just skip the scenes involving the training of Hell¡¯s Gate¡± ¡°Yea, don¡¯t worry bout it. No one really cares about that stuff before we enter the game anyways.¡± ¡°Well if you say so¡¡± ¡°Don¡¯t worry it¡¯ll appear later in the series¡ maybe¡± ¡°Wait. Did you just say maybe.¡± *Whistle* ¡°You did, didn''t you. Hey Louie don¡¯t just look away from me.¡±

Into the Game...
After putting on his helmet, his dark apartment room changed into a brilliant white light that enveloped his entire body. It was warm to the touch and gave a slightly tingly feeling to the skin. As the bright light finally started to pass, Louis was able to open his tightly shut eyes.
¡°Wow¡± A gasp escaped his lips as an unimaginable scene danced before his eyes. In front of him was a planet of blue, black, green and red. He couldn''t comprehend as to how he could be looking at such a magnificent site until, he remembered he was only in a game. Yet, that didn''t seem to lessen the magnitude of excitement he felt coursing through his veins. This was Horizon, a world where anything was possible.
A text box appeared before him lit in bright blue letters. It was written in a language he didn''t know but with the game''s language correction system, eventually his eyes adjusted and he could make it out.
Welcome to Horizon
"Where is this coming from" he asked as he waved his hand to where the text box should have been. "Whatever" he shrugged as another text box appeared before him.
It does not seem like you have an account with Horizon yet. Let¡¯s make a new one now, Shall we!
Please state your desired in-game-name.
"In game name, huh?"
Is Ingamenamehuh your desired in-game-name.
"Uh...no"
Please state your desired in-game-name
"Um...Void?"
Is Void your desired in-game-name
"Sure that sounds good enough" He said somewhat proudly.
Please state the race you would like to play as.
"What the hell? Races?"
I''m sorry, but whatthehell is not a viable race. Currently there are only 13 races in which you can pick. The most popular of these being: Beasts, elves, dwarves, and humans.
"Well it would be cool being a beast... But I think I''ll just stick with being a human."
Great! According to Section V of the international virtual reality laws set in place your appearance will remain the same.
"Whatever that''s fine"
Ok! The last thing, which place would you like to start your adventure.

"Oh Ryan told me about this.¡± He thought out loud. ¡°Please start me off in the Kingdom of Rhodes capital city Vallis" as he finished his sentence, his body was once again enveloped in the warm light he felt when he first put on the helmet. However this time, instead of text boxes appearing he was shot off towards the planet before him. As he flew towards the spherical mass of colors, he saw scenes everywhere from party''s attacking monsters that seemed to come straight out of children''s nightmares, with pointed horns, oozing bodies, or even those without any flesh, to kings being crowned with decorative jewels of every color. When he finally entered the home stretch of the flight, he started losing speed until "plop" he was dropped straight on his butt. "Ouch" he said as he massaged his bruised stump. "Wait...ouch?" He exclaimed. "So this game does have pain. Ryan said it was less than one tenth of reality but... Damn that hurt." ¡°Well that was fun.¡± He said as he looked all around him. ¡°Wow¡± Another gasp left his mouth just like when he first entered the game. Around him lay streets filled with homes and stores alike. As he stared at the signs he saw places named ¡°Elle¡¯s Workshop¡± or ¡°Bahamut''s Diner¡± or even ¡°BlackKnife¡¯s Sorcery Guild¡± Around him was a medieval paradise. It seemed to be just before night in town as the sun was gently setting over the lush green hills in the distant, spewing colors of red and orange in every direction. ¡°So this is Horizon¡¡± he nodded approvingly. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon.¡°Yo! You made it.¡± A familiar voice called out for him ¡°Hey! Ryan, this is amazing. I feel as if I¡¯m actually in a fairytale.¡± ¡°Isn''t it.¡± A dignified smirk blossomed on to Ryan¡¯s face once more. ¡°So, Ryan, what do we do now.¡± ¡°Well first we should level up, talk to some residents, and maybe get a class.¡± ¡°Class?¡± ¡°Yeah, it¡¯s like what type of thing you are best at in the game. For example if you''re an archer, you¡¯ll be better with bows than swordsman are. There are always hidden classes that boost other things, but not many are willing to share information about how to get them and those that do have classes that can only ever be obtained by one person.¡± ¡°Oh. That¡¯s sounds pretty cool.¡± ¡°Yeah hidden classes are awesome!¡± ¡°Anyway. You do know the basics to how the game mechanics right?¡± ¡°Hmm... yeah it¡¯s just like we would move our body in real life, but you have to level up and do quests to get stronger compared to like how you work out.¡± ¡°Soooo close but no cigar. Actually, in this game you can work out and do other physical tasks to raise your stats. But, it¡¯s so difficult barely anyone does that. By the way if you ever want to check your stats just sat ¡®Show Status Menu¡¯ and it should pop up.¡± ¡°Ok. ¡®Show Status Menu¡¯¡± A blue light similar to the one before popped up again this time showing his own character''s level and stats.

Other Stats will appear as you obtain them
¡°Ryan, what does it mean other stats will be appear as you obtain them.¡± ¡°Hm.. oh yeah. If you do certain actions or your body is accustomed you can get stats like say ¡®aim¡¯ that may help you aim better and so on and so forth.¡± ¡°Hmm. that sounds pretty interesting.¡± ¡°Yep! Oh yeah Louie I have someone you should meet. Follow me¡± Ryan grabbed on to his friends hand and dragged him across town. Little did they know where Louie was being dragged would start a domino effect and crush Louie¡¯s initial excitement and impression of Horizon. Extra: ¡°Man that code stuffz is complicated Louie¡± ¡°Just follow what the penguin guy tells you to do¡± ¡°Don¡¯t wanna¡± ¡°What do you mean, you don¡¯t want to. You have to in order to make an interesting virtual reality fan fic.¡± ¡°Mu¡± ¡°Don¡¯t pout at me. Hey! Get back here and continue your journey¡ Fine! We don¡¯t need you anyway. Wait! I was just kidding, Ryan come back¡¡± Will Ryan return, will RainbowRabbit ever figure out the code commands. Find out next time on DBZ¡. I mean Into the Void. Yeah, that¡¯s this story¡¯s title.

Into the Guild... Laughter could be heard from everywhere in the pub as the two walked in. An old, smelly and loud bar with peeling paint, and what I hope is beer on the floor is the only way to properly capture the essence of ¡°Old Man K¡¯s Drink Shack¡± All around Void, where burly men shaking their pints of liquor and screaming ¡°Cheers!¡± So much booze was flying around, just the smell alone could burn the noise, and you could forget about hearing anyone unless they were screaming right into your ear. Unluckily for Void, that¡¯s exactly what his best friend Ryan did. ¡°PRETTY FUN ISN¡¯T IT!¡± ¡°Not so loud Ryan!¡± ¡°WHAT!¡± Void just shook his head. As he looked around he got a more accurate picture of what Old Man K¡¯s place was actually worth. ¡°Amazing... my initial impression was spot on.¡± Pretty much. The pub wasn¡¯t anything special. In fact, it was probably below average in terms of well¡ everything. ¡°Wait was that rat...chasing a cat?¡± Void rubbed his eyes confused if what he just saw was real. ¡°What the hell¡± As if to answer his question in the corner of the bar a tiny sign was plastered up and read in big read letters ¡°BEWARE-OF MAN EATING RATS¡± What kind of bar was this? ¡°OVER HERE LOUIE...WAIT VOID NOW WASN¡¯T IT?¡± Ryan beckoned over towards a table currently only occupied by a single man. The guy who sat there had wide shoulders that were covered by a thick metal plating with a snake engraved into it. The Snake''s eyes were red and seemed to almost seep blood. Its scales were black contrary to the shiny white chest plate it was engraved onto. The man himself was around 6¡¯8¡¯¡¯ and had dark, almost like the night itself, black hair. On top of the heavy metal plating he also wore shining gauntlets and thick leather pants. As Void got closer he could make out the man¡¯s facial features. He wished he hadn¡¯t. The guy¡¯s eyes were pitch black, and when I say pitch black, I mean it. No light at all seemed to emanate from the dark pupils as if an endless hell was all that awaited anyone unfortunate enough to get stuck there. The guy practically oozed danger, evident by the fact that no one, even in this happy-go-lucky bar, went over to him to share a drink much less talk. If it wasn''t for Ryan, Void would have never approached the dude. ¡°THIS IS THE GUY I WANTED YOU TO MEET VOID¡± a cold glare was all that the man gave Void causing a chill to run down his spine. ¡°Hello¡± Void said trying to start some sort of conversation. ¡°Good Evening¡± replied the man in an unexpectedly pleasant tone. ¡°So¡ Ryan what did you want us to talk about?¡± ¡°WHAT? I CAN¡¯T HEAR YOU. LET¡¯S GO OUTSIDE!¡± Ryan screamed. Void was sure his eardrums bursted then and there. As the group got up, the bar went silent. All eyes were on the dark warrior to Void¡¯s back, but the man himself seemed to give it no heed and just walked straight out. As soon as he did, the bar¡¯s heavy atmosphere lifted and laughter filled the air once more. ¡°Ryan, what did you want to talk about here?¡± ¡°Oh. I just wanted you to meet this guy. Also, my name¡¯s Sulphur in here.¡± *snicker* Void couldn¡¯t help but let a slight laugh pass as he saw his friend bursting with pride as if he just solved some great mystery. ¡°Hey don¡¯t laugh it¡¯s a cool name¡± ¡°heh sure it is, I wish I could be an element too.¡± ¡°Shut up! Anyways, this guy is named Sol. He¡¯s the master of this new guild called the RavenCore.¡± ¡°HUH?¡± Void was perplexed. This guy looked like a wanted felon much less a guild master. ¡°Yeah, I am¡± Sol said shyly. ¡°Don¡¯t be freaking shy.¡± Void thought. ¡°You''re ruining your character.¡± In front of him was what looked like a demon, yet he was freaking blushing. Have you ever seen a demon blush. No! Cause they don¡¯t. A picture popped up into his head of a demon trying to eat your flesh then going down to your nether regions and having their cheeks flush red. He quickly dispelled that idea, but it was still a weird scenario he was in. ¡°So¡ what about this guild?¡± Void asked inquisitively still trying to shake the picture of the bashful demon from his mind. ¡°He¡¯s starting it up, and only wants a few military men involved in it. The RavenCore motto is to do whatever you want but help the other in the guild. It¡¯s also limited to 25 people at the moment, since he doesn''t want it getting over crowded.¡± Ryan, no Sulphur now, said with pleading eyes. ¡°So you want me to join, Mr. Element?¡± ¡°Don¡¯t call me that! But, yeah, let¡¯s join together.¡± ¡°Sure why not.¡± Void shrugged his shoulders. As he said this Sol¡¯s eyes lit up and he clasped Void¡¯s hands shaking them vigorously. ¡°Thank you! You won¡¯t regret it¡± His eyes practically watering. ¡°Great¡± Void said to himself. ¡°Now we have a crying bashful demon.¡± ¡°Hm?¡± ¡°Oh nothing.¡± ¡°Here let me invite you guys.¡± ¡°Please.¡± The familiar blue letters popped up in front of Void¡¯s eyes again
Would you like to join the RavenCore?
"Yes" Void said without hesitation.
Congratulation Void! You have successfully joined the RavenCore
"So, how many members are currently in the RavenCore?" "Including you guys, 12." "Why us though?" "Cause I wanted some reliable guys who are or where in the military" It sounded suspicious to Void, but he just let it slide. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it."Anyways I got to go now, see ya and welcome to the core." At that Sol turned into a blue pillar of light and flew off, signaling that he signed out of his capsule. ¡°That was one interesting fella.¡± Void said feeling an unbelievable amount of pressure being lifted from his shoulders. ¡°Huh?¡± ¡°Nothing. So what are you going to do now?¡± ¡°Well, I got to go help out my mom with some stuff, so I¡¯ll be back on later. You should go level up.¡± ¡°How do I do that?¡± ¡°Just go beat up some rabbits outside.¡± ¡°RABBITS?!¡± ¡°Yeah, what about them?¡± ¡°No nothing, I just got this weird chill when you said beat them up.¡± (That¡¯s right you better get chills! - RainbowRabbit)¡±Anyways see you later.¡± ¡°K. Have fun.¡± Once again, a bright blue light swallowed the person standing in front of Void leaving him all alone. ¡°Well better get going.¡± Void said to himself (like some kind of crazy person). As soon as the three left, a hooded figure appeared from the pub. No traits of this person could be seen save for the pair of blood red eyes illuminated under the cloak and a picture of a scythe taped to his or her back.
¡±I guess I better start off here.¡± Before him was a field of rolling hills covered in clear green grass. It was a beautiful scene. Swaying grass and little animals scurrying about between their homes. Actually, let me restate that. It would have been a beautiful scene except for the fact that players were there. Instead of the swaying green grass and the scurrying animals, players were mercilessly slaughtering the helpless creatures as their blood stained the entire place red. ¡°Ah. This is nice.¡± Void didn¡¯t really care about the blood, actually this was like paradise compared to his training where people were constantly throwing up their previously meals and on occasion blood. Instead, he was just enjoying the breeze. As he got one more glance at Wilson¡¯s creek, he sat down and began to watch the people. ¡°Oh, so that¡¯s how they run.¡± ¡°That was a nice swing¡± While many players just decided to run out there and act like chickens with their heads cut off, Void decided to sit down and study their movements. He watched everything from which leg the rabbits place down first to how far they could jump away from their hunter. After around 2 hours of this, he suddenly got up. Thinking he had a good enough understanding of how the rabbits moved, he decided to go out and try his hand at hunting them, with his beginner sword in hand he went out into the field. The rabbits were apparently called Springer Bunnies whose alone way of attacking was to jump up high and kick their opponent. They weren''t the hardest prey to hunt, but for most beginners it could take them several minutes to hours just to kill a single one. Nevertheless, Void didn''t have the problems other players faced since he had watched them for a good bit of time. Alternatively to taking a while to kill the creatures he was slaughtering the cute furry animals left and right. After around his 10th kill he heard a charming sound as a system notification alerted him of his current status.
You have leveled up!
¡°Great!¡± he thought. However, instead of marveling at his new level or even distributing his skill points he just went back to slaughtering the poor bunnies. He kept killing until his leather clothes were dyed red with blood and his sword was almost out of durability. By that time he had leveled up twice more putting him at a respectable level 4. He even managed to gather a small crowd of spectators gawking at the speed he was slashing through the monsters. Some looked at him with eyes of terror while others with eyes of admiration. Void didn¡¯t care for any of it and just walked out of the field, of now dead animals. He even managed to gather some pelts and teeth which he could later sell to fix his sword and maybe even by a new one. All in all, it was a very successful first day. The only problem was the image he gave off. Without thinking about it he began to smile. This may have been fine in other situations but when you''re covered in blood and smiling whilst walking through the streets, some rumors start to pop up. One of these rumors even caused him to gain his first nickname: BLOOD KNIGHT. Extra: "Hey Ryan, why do I get chills every time a rabbit falls." "Shhh he''s watching us." "Who is?" "The rabbit king" "The rabbit king?" "Yeah, it''s said that whenever you kill a rabbit, the rabbit king might... tickle you." "That doesn''t sound too bad." "Huhuhu the last guy who was tickled by the Rabbit king lost 2 limbs." "What! Which limbs." "Exactly." Morale: Beware my tickles!!!!

He didn¡¯t really know what type of build he was going for in his character design especially since most stats that really helped were hidden until you completed a certain action to receive them. [nh]Now that he was level 10 he thought that it was probably the time to move up on the food chain and start hunting the wolves that hid in the forests. These wolves were appropriately named IronMane¡¯s and lived in the woods of almost every kingdom¡¯s capital. They had silver hair with tinted specks of blue scattered across their fur. Their pearly fangs glow during the night and their marine pupils shine during the day. Because of their high attack power and agility many players hunted these wolves in parties. However, Void disliked the idea of sharing exp and drops and decided to hunt alone. Along with his increased level, he also managed to save up some extra gold and buy himself some new equipment. It wasn¡¯t anything special just a standard Iron Sword you could find anywhere and a set of ¡°durable¡± leather armor. Yet, to a new player this switch from old equipment to new could mean the difference between life and death. As Void casually started to walk over towards the woods a group of strangers called out to him. ¡°Hey! You! Yeah, the guy covered in rabbit intestines. Do you want to join our party.¡± Calling out to him was a group of 3 girls and a singular guy. Apparently, they were also going to go hunt wolves in the forest but needed another tank. Void tried to pretend he didn¡¯t hear them, but with the guy¡¯s constant bitching he eventually conceded and went over to talk to them. ¡°What do you guys want?¡± Void asked with an irritated tone. ¡°For you to join our party.¡± A girl with clear blue eyes and a sparkling smile said, unfazed by Void¡¯s rude attitude. ¡°Why would I want to do that?¡± Void questioned again with an exasperated voice. ¡°Well, you can¡¯t hunt the wolves in these woods by yourself until you''re at least lvl 20¡± This time a different girl with light green hair and pointed ears spoke up. ¡°Is that so?¡± Void inquired to himself. ¡°If that is true it must be hard to hunt these things¡. maybe it would be better if I went with a group.¡± After several seconds of pondering, he finally gave into the pleading eyes that surrounded him and agreed to join, their little group.
Would You Like To Join Grey''s Party?
¡°Sure¡± ¡®So the dude¡¯s name is Grey huh¡¯ Void mused
You Have Joined Grey''s Party
"Oh we haven''t introduced ourselves yet have we?" The boy whose name is Grey said. Grey had brown hair, was a few inches shorter than Void and had a very pleasant air about him. "Uh no, well I''m Void. Nice to make your acquaintance" "Hiya, I''m Jade" the cute girl with the green hair said. Just like Grey she was very chipper and seemed to be the type to lighten the room. "Georgia" a girl with messy blond hair and a two handed long sword on her back said curtly. "And I''m um... Yui" the final girl with the clear blue eyes said quietly. "Great. Now that that¡¯s all settled," Grey said with a huge grin "let''s head out"
The woods were filled with trees as tall as skyscrapers. The leaves were slightly swaying back and forth in the wind as a nice breeze passed through the valley. The branches were thick enough to hold an average sized man but were to high up for anyone to reach. It was one of the few places that still belonged to nature as not many humans were willing to enter. There was a generally rule not to go in, unless absolutely necessary However, rules were meant to be broken. A group of adventurers had daringly walked straight into the forest¡¯s heart and were now facing one of the enemies the woodlands held, the IronMane. The two parties, one of wolf and one of man, were facing one another with eyes determined not to lose. The human group consisted of 2 swordsmen, a cleric, an archer, and a mage while, the wolf¡¯s party only numbered two. One might think the humans had the upper hand in this kind of situation having superior numbers, but contrary to that believe the wolves were sure in their victory. Not only was this their home turf, but the also knew they held the advantage in terms of both speed and power. When the last leaf hit the ground the two groups sprang into action. ¡°Void, Georgia, get to the front¡± said the archer Grey, completely calm. ¡°Ok!¡± The two swordsmen yelled simultaneously. ¡°Jade you get to the back and fire some spells to slow their movement, while Georgia focus on healing the two up front.¡± Grey continued giving orders until he was short of breath. The battle was bloody, as the two in front hacked at the silvery beasts and the IronManes, gashed open wounds on the human counterparts. If it wasn¡¯t for the girl in the back constantly healing the two fighting the wolves head on, there''s no doubt both would be long dead. ¡°Slash¡± one of the wolves got a lucky claw in bringing the girl fighter to her knees. ¡°Aaah¡± Void yelled as he swung his iron sword down at the wolf''s head. ¡°Peng¡± a quick slash from its claws deflected the fatal strike but not without taking some serious damage to its hide. The IronMane jumped back with blood dripping down its fur. It only had around half health left, but barely looked winded, thanks to its incredible stamina. ¡°Hahahah¡± Void laughed. Even though his comrade lay on her knees and over a third of his health was missing he felt an incredible rush through his system. ¡°I finally understand how you move!¡± he yelled with wild eyes. As soon as the words left his lips, he sprung forward. In less than two heartbeats he was in front of the wolf again swinging at its side¡ or so the wolf thought. Instead, Void aimed for the animals legs, crippling it. ¡°Owww¡± the wolf howled out in pain. ¡®Where was this man hiding this kind of strength¡¯ it thought. With one of its legs broken under it, it could barely stand much less run away. As it snarled at the man in front of him, the wolves partner jumped in for the first time. ¡°Swip¡± the second wolf''s claws glided through the air. ¡®huh¡¯ it thought, ¡®that swipe should have hit him¡¯. The attack would have hit if it was someone else, but Void had already anticipated the second wolf¡¯s participation and prepared accordingly. He chose not to finish off the first and focused on the second. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident."Hahah is that the best you got?" Blood splattered across Void''s face and a dry laugh could be heard from him as he closed in on the helpless pair of wolves. By that time his team had stopped attacking and were marveling at the scene. For the first time they actually felt sympathy for the wolves as the crazed Void closed in on them. It was over in the next few seconds as Void''s sword pierced the two creatures necks and the light diminished from their eyes. All that was left of the brutal slaughter was some teeth a piece of fur and a cruel smile that formed on the tips of the bloody swordsman''s lips. "Well that was invigorating" he said as if nothing had occurred. "Woah, you guys look like you just saw a ghost" "N...no just a d...demon" Grey said forcing on a mock smile. "Demon? Where?" Void said while raising his sword. "Never mind. Void just keep doing what you''re doing." All the group members nodded in unison "Huh" Void was perplexed but just let it go, since all his teammates seemed to be in agreement.
As the day progressed they encountered two more pairs of wolves and even a group of three. The final battle against the group was difficult, even for Void since they kept taking turns to attack. Luckily, towards the end Jade ended up casting a spell that burnt one of the wolves throwing it of balance and into the jaws of Void. "Whew, that was tough," Void wiped the accumulated sweat that formed on top of his brow. "Yeah, I can''t believe we ended up taking all three of them out without any casualties." Jade let out a tired sigh. "Should we head back now?" Georgia offered, finally growing more comfortable around Void. "Yeah, we have enough loot and each of us has leveled up once or twice." The group got up, fully recovered from their previous fight. As they were about to take their first steps, a braking of a branch could be heard from behind them. Instinctively, Void turned around sword in hand. "What''s wrong?" Grey asked "Shh." Hushing the group Void slowly approached the location in which he heard the branch break. "Shua" out of nowhere a mass of black fur jumped out of a bush. It was approximately 3 times the size of Void and had a mouth as big as a bowling ball . Glowing red lines ran down its black fur in a pattern that looked almost like a skull. It had fangs as large as fingers which were glowing pure white except for the golden tips at each fangs end. It''s bloodshot eyes were staring down at the terrified group of people as it let out a chilling howl... It was ready to kill.
"Get in formation!" at Void''s words the group regained their senses and turned to face the monstrosity that was before them. However, before they were completely prepared the beast leaped at Void, its claws connecting and sending him flying into the nearest tree with a thud. Void got up as quickly as he could, and frantically searched for the beast''s status menu.

"Fuck" he thought out loud. Its initial attack was so strong that it decimated his health. "No wonder, it''s level 30." Void wasn''t sure if his team had the slightest chance against the High IronMane, but he wasn''t just going to stand there and watch all his teammates perish at its claws. He brandished his sword and jumped at the monster while its head faced the other direction "Aaah!" He let out a blood curling scream as he drove the tip of his sword into the HighMane''s black flesh. A gurgling sound from the monster''s skin could be heard as the sword pierced the beast as well as a ding sound alerting Void of a system notification.

"Great" he laughed as the HighMane tried to throw him off its back. "Aaah!" He yelled again, activating His new skill, driving the cold iron sword further into the beast''s hide. I guess you aren''t anything s...." Before he could say another word, the ground began to shake as cracks started to form across the forest''s floor. "What the?" Void was unsure of what was happening but knew it couldn''t be good. Suddenly, a shadow sprung forth from where all the cracks connected and attached itself to wolf''s body. The entire place was quiet as the HighMane''s body began to glow a deep red. "Oooo" it let out a deafening howl that shook the very foundation of the ground.
