《RE: Gamer》 Prologue: The Last Battle I was fighting the demon lord terrorizing the world. Yes, I am the hero of this game-like world as you all say- an rpg world. I wore my best white armour and was wielding the holy sword Zelentos. I was not your normal hero, I had average looks and not a great physique, yet I had an aura around me which charmed others, if I may say so. The demon lord was also not your normal villain. He was a dashing personality who had a large female following and an unmistakable dark aura. We both battled it out at the summit of a mountain (it was very cold brrrr..) he wore black armour and wielded a bastard sword he named Goenma. We took our stances prepared to finish each other off with the next strike. We activated the same technique- Sure Kill which we had learnt from the same master. Yes we both were childhood friends, yet we were fighting to death. Why? I never really knew and I suspect he never knew as well. Anyway the attacks connected and we both died. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. Really, did I die? That was the question lingering in my mind. I shouldn''t have been able to think if I was dead. Then I saw a screen pop out in front of me as usual Ding.

Chapter 1: Entering a new world What?? Re-incarnation!!! I tried to open my eyes but they were tight shut. I felt I was in a place filled with gooey substance and wondered how I was alive. I also tried to open my mouth move my hands and legs but other than the last the rest were unsuccessful. When I moved my legs, it was almost as if I was kicking something. I felt something come over there. I used echolocation to see what it was. I learned it from an old blind man living in the mountains before I became a hero. I moved my mana out of my body to perceive what was outside. The mana waves went forth and came back and I was sure that I had been confined in a small space. After doing nothing for some time I tried to read my status. I yelled in my mind ¡°Status¡±.

After what felt like ages, I felt a force pushing me outside. It was then that I heard for the first time. Man: it is okay Jane, everything is going to be fine. Jane: (screams) aaaaahhhhh. After quite some time I get pushed out. On coming outside I try to say ¡®woah that was quite something!¡¯ but what came out from my mouth was ¡®waah ah waah¡¯ baby cries. I try to open my eyes and am blinded. Slowly I get adjusted to it and see two people in front of me, an old man and a young handsome man. He must be my dad I thought, but where is my mom. I turn my head sideways and see a very beautiful woman and was happy coz I felt a soothing aura emanating from her. I smiled looking at her. Mother: John did you see that he smiled! He smiled at me! John (My father picks me up): Really, he¡¯s such a cute child. Father here, (hands me over to the old man) your grandson. Gramps: he is handsome, I¡¯m sure he¡¯ll make us proud. Me: Guaah guah. I extend my hand towards his face which could be called handsome even though he was old. Gramps: hehe you want to pull my cheeks heh little guy you got some guts. Jane he looks similar to you. Jane (my mother): you are right father. What do you want to name him as? (Wait my grandpa names me? Anyways its fine) Gramps: Hmm, let¡¯s name him after my great grandfather Lee. John: Yes father I think it is a good name. Gramps: So little Lee do you want to go to your mother? Me: Guah. Jane: He responded, my son is such a smart child! Come to mama, Lee. John: Haha he really is smart. After all this I felt really exhausted and fell asleep in my mother''s arms. Chapter 2: First Words Its already been 2 years since I was born on this planet called Earth. Even though this world has very less mana, there is another energy I felt similar to mana but it was present in my body. It seems that I am the eldest son of a fairly large corporate family, which my father established. My grandfather Paul had a fairly large dojo- the teachers of the Dragon God styles. I say styles because there were many different teachings based on dragons like flaming dragon, thunder dragon, flowing dragon and many more. I have an elder sister Sasha who adores me a lot. I am now able to crawl easily and walk with the help of someone. Well I was thinking about the purpose of my reincarnation while retaining memories of my past life. The only thing that came to mind was enjoy the new world. In my previous life I couldn¡¯t meet my parents regularly as I had to train and defeat the demons harassing multiple villages. This time I thought I¡¯ll make my parents proud and stay close to them. There are many things in this world which is different from my previous world. A black pant, white full shirt and over it was a black blazer and also a bow. My father''s colleagues and friends, my many uncles and aunts along with my cousins had come over. The teachers in the dojo and my grandpa''s disciples as well as his friends had also come. This is the first time that I''d be seeing people other than those in my home. My mom carried me outside and immediately I saw many people coming here to congratulate my mom and dad. I had only seen such a huge crowd during one of my many visits to the palace in my previous world. I still remember that some of my friends made fun of me when I was unable to refuse the advances of some women. But that is for some other time. I was very curious about the people with whom my parents worked and hence I started observing them. I made sure that I would not stand out with a wired face and hence was always beaming smiles when a person came near me. After a few minutes my mother laid me down on the bed in my room and next to me two more babies of my age were laid as well. Jane: Lee, these two are Lina and Rina. Oh, I didn¡¯t tell it before right, they are identical twins. I had seen only a pair of brothers who were identical in my previous world. They were in the army of Celest, a country which was putting up a brave defense against the demons. There were many countries which had fallen to those demons and while I was travelling around the world and reached Celest, it was in a bad shape because of multiple attacks by demons. I was given the quest to inform King Reeze of Byinhin to provide refugees some place to stay. I promised them that it would be the first thing I¡¯d do and I immediately left along with the Agroll Brothers, the twins. I reached the palace after 10 days of travel on horses. We travelled continuously, only to stop for eating or rest. I informed the king about the invasion and he agreed to give some land for the sake of refugees. I also told him to be prepared as the demons might come there next. He said that he will take care and bid us farewell. We reached Celest and immediately went to the front lines. The brothers were ready to sacrifice themselves for their country, while I was planning on fighting some of the stronger demons. The war was reaching its conclusion, Celest was losing badly, when suddenly an old man in robes came out of nowhere and launched 10 huge fireballs, which destroyed half the demon army. Immediately my mind went back to my teacher¡¯s teachings. I then started using magic and sword arts while fighting the demons.
