Upon accepting a mission , Ryu will do anything to get the job done even if women , children or family that get in his way he won''t hesitate to remove the obstacle. Althought he is famous in the underworld , no one really knows how he looks like other than his contractor and the ones who hired him. One must be resourceful to find a way to hire the Ascended Demon , resulting Ryu assassinating powerful people and making alot of enemies. On the day Ryu turned 17 , he decided to quit his underworld career and live like a normal human in a normal society , but one day , on a stormy night , a tragic event happened to Ryu ~~~Year 2025 On a table of a maid cafe , 2 people wearing suit were sitting infront of the handsome young man who wore a white suit attracted many attentions of the people around them. Suitguy-"Excuse me sir...are you sure this place is ideal?" As he look around with a worried expression Ryu who was drinking is tea glanced at him fiercely Suitguy1-"I... The cloud began to glow a light and suddenly Ryu-"What the-" BOOOM! Ryu-"Oh f*ck this" Ryu stared angrily with no fear at the lightning bolt as it was infront of his face Book1Chapter 2 Greed ========== The sky rupture apart and a portal appeared , a human figure felt from high above the clouds , as the human was about to crash onto the ground , the wind blew fiercely and the body landed on softly on the ground. ~~~ In a far eastern field surrounded by rocky mountains , the humanity allies gathered their armies in strength and numbers to face off the invaders that reside on the other side of the mountains. The humanity were many in numbers but the invaders , demons were not to be underestimated. On the bottom edge of the rocky mountains , the humanity army set up their fortress there in a single night. Most of the soldiers were drinking beer and eating while some were asleep. The soldiers took turn to guard the border of their base. In a golden tent situated in the middle of the fort , 6 people were standing infront of a big flat square table with land marks drawn on it. CommanderWil-"We will lure them close to the mountain and as soon they get in range , the fighters along with the help of buffers will destroy the tip of the rocky mountain causing the rumble to fall onto the demons" Captain Zon-"But sire! What if they can''t break the rocks ? what if something bad happen after breaking the rocks?It is still a rocky mountain..forcing it to break could cause a chain reac-" The commander quickly interrupted one of the captain Wil-"It will work and kill off those demons! I did not hired the best fighters and buffers from Yonlia for nothing!" Zon-"Hmmp I will take my leave , excuse me" Captain Zon , angry , flapped his wind and abruptly left the tent with style while the others sat down quietly Captain Zalyn-"My my , everyone is so serious" Said Zalyn with a happy expression The commander already had a plan in mind , the rocky mountain was one of them , he told them all what they had to do. Wil plan was obvious to everyone that he did not want to loose many of his men. Captain Zul-"Commander Wil , why is it that most of these mostly involve beast tribe and elves?" Wil-"What do you mean? The fighters and buffers are human and will play the most important roll" By breaking the side of the rocky mountain , Wil expected that no one would complain about it after seeing the results of what humans did to contribute to the war. Greedy and disgusting The captain nodded quietly and left the tent Captain Taz-"Tssk , this times we have a sh*t commander" Commander Wil was a coward , some of the captains were unhappy but they couldn''t do anything about it because it was the king decision to place Wil , who volunteered to be in the front line. Wil-"Tomorrow will be the day that I will be promoted into nobility!" The next morning , the 6 captains each led an army of 22 000 , the army each had more beast tribe and elves than humans since commander Wil kept mostly all of them with him. Since Wil is a human , he tried to gain more favor from his king since he really wanted to be promoted so he could retire and live happily after. Wil-"My mens!we will be the core of this mission , we will protect and secure the escape path incase of a emergency! We will return home to our country , where are families and friends are waiting!" The soldiers let out shouts of joy as Wil encourage them with his speech. As the sun rise , the army were stationed to their spot as planned. Captain Zul''s troops were the ones who had to go around the rocky mountain to lure the demonic beast while Captain Taz waits on the peak of the rocky mountain with 10 fighters and 10 buffers. Led-"Kehehe , getting paid to punch rocks , my kind of job" Phei-"Led , take this seriously... if we fail , the plan will also fail.... and the demons will invade our lands.." Fighters are mainly close combat types while buffers are wizard that specialize in empowering people by blessing them with their spells. While the fighters and buffers were standing on the peak , Taz stationed his mens below the mountain since the peak doesn''t have much space , Taz soldiers were guarding the pathway to the peak. Roarrr! Demonic beast shout were echoing through the rocky mountains Taz-"Zul , angering the demonic beast , what a crazy bastard!" Zul took some of his mens into the nest of the demons and quickly retreated with their fastest horse. Zul and 2 of his mens were getting chased atleast hundreds of thousand demonic beast! Zul-"If the rocky plan work , we might actually all get back home alive!" Zul regrouped with the rest of his army who were shooting arrows from far away to keep the beast coming. Zul-"Let''s go! Times to get in the path!" Zul and his 22 000 mens ran toward the path then suddenly the ground started to crack. Spam Zul-"Demonic burrowers!" The demonic beast who came from the ground caught off some mens who were passing by the path , while some of them successfully made it through the pathway. Do not let them pass through the pathway!" In the middle of the army , demonic burrowers kept appearing from the hole while the demonic army were just behind them. Meanwhile on the peak of the mountain , Taz heard a fierce battle happening on the pathway Taz-"Fighters , break off the mountain!" The buffers chant their spells and swirls their mana around their target Phei-"Strengthening iron fist!" Led fist had a iron aura as his muscle harden , the fighters were ready and as they took their stance to hit the grounds infront of them , Taz and his fighters heard a weird sound coming from the sky. Bzvzvzvz Suddenly , multiple purple vortex appeared and crack the air open. Purple looking bugs appeared from the cracks and flew down toward the rocky mountain Taz-"This timing... it''s too-!" Booom! The purple mantis sliced him in half and quickly disappeared in thin air , moving to his next target , one by one the mantis killed everyone it saw except for one on the peak. Led-"Too....fast...uhgh" Phei-"No.....Led...Maria... everyone is dead...everyone...will die.." Phei hid under a small cave on the peak as she tremble in the dark. Soldier-"Commander Wil! The plan have failed , the peak soldiers and the pathway got ambushed!" Wil-"What! where is Taz and the fighters?!" Soldier-"A..about that... they all died.... we don''t know what happened but commander Wil , there is no times! we must retreat" As they spoke , the demonic beast from the nest that advanced through the pathway. Wil plan was to kill most of them off with the rock while if the plan failed , the pathway would of blocked most of the beast , allowing the army to regroup , but now , since the 2 most important part of the plan failed , the demon army were allowed to slowly charge toward the allied fort. Wil-"Fight! We will fight ! Recall all the troops to regroup to the fort and push back the demons!" Soldier-"Yes sir! mens , spread the words!" The messengers quickly left the tent with their horse , Wil who stationed himself in the escape route , wasn''t worried about the demons. Wil-"I have to do atleast that.. you demi humans and elves will sacrifice yourselves for my glory hauhahah" The 5 captain retreated into the fort with 120 000 mens , they fought against the army Wahh! Help!!! Kill!!! Eat!!! The demons killed many humans in a single swipe while some were holding their grounds against those demons , after a intense battle , the humans pushed the demonic army back but the demons did not gave up. A demon whistle was heard , suddenly , big demon snakes and flying lizard that were twice as the size of a human appeared with some larger demonic creatures. The tide quickly change with the help of the big demonic beast. A loud sound resonated the surrounding. As Ryu shout , his body slightly slides backward. Book1Chapter 3 Most Important ========== As the stars became visible , the sun was setting at the edge of the horizon , Ryu sat on the hill with a unconscious woman laying close to him , he decided to pull her long ears but it wouldn''t come off. Ryu-"Ah....this is not a movie.." Ryu sat on the hill as he watch the fort gates getting push down bit by bit. The elf woman with green hair finally woke up Phei-"Ugh... my leg" Phei sat up slowly as her leg were wrapped around with bandage Ryu-"You , wher-" As soon Ryu spoke , she immediately looks at him and saw the gaze of his red eyes Phei-"Eeeeek a demon!" She cover her face with her hands as she tremble in fear Ryu-"Tsssk , I saved you from that lizard and th-" As Ryu once again open his mouth , she took a peek of Ryu between her fingers after noticing his voice. Phei-"Ahh! I am so sorry! I did not mean to say that , you must of saved me right! The fort is going down!" Phei tries to stand up slowly and she suddenly felt a cold chill on her , she turn around and sees Ryu glaring at her with a fiercer eyes. Ryu-"I will ask you one more times , where are we?" Phei sat back down Phei-"Ah... I am sorry.. erm... here.. is the eastern border of Yonlia , the front line that separate the demons from the world and... those are the demon invading our fort" Phei quietly explained as she turn around and point at the fort Ryu-"Hmmm Yonlia border , demons , a girl with long ears...how the f*ck did I get here.." Ryu was in his though as Phei ask him something with hesitation Phei-"Uhmm I am sorry but I have to go help my friends in the fort" Ryu look at her from head to toes Ryu-"How can you help? with that wounded ankle of yours , you will be more of a burden" Phei-"But .. but I have to..or else Yonlia will fall!" Ryu-"Hmmm...Ah , that watch tower seems empty" Ryu disappeared from the hill within the shadows. Zon-"Fall back! do not stay in the center!" As captain Zon issued an command , the soldiers quickly repeated his words. Zon and Zalyn were the only remaining captain while most of them died as soon as their gate felt down. Watching the battle gave Ryu many insight , the so called humanity had demi beast tribe and elves while demons were also many in different kinds. As for the demons , there is rarely anyone that can use magic while most of them uses weapon , big , heavy weapon. Zon-"Damn it , they are too strong! Where is our buffers?!" Soldier-"They... they are... gone" As expected , Zon knew that Wil took all the buffers with him. Boom! A big minotaur smashes the ground with his giant mallet Zalyn-"Ughh... there is still one left..." Zalyn originally focused on getting rid of the big demons first and let the soldiers handle the smaller ones. Zalyn-"I won''t have any mana left after this.." The human army were greatly out number by the demons by 10 000 to 40 000. Zon-"Quickly.. we have to get to Wil''s camp" Suddenly , a burrower pass through the guards by digging a underground tunnel appeared infront of Zalyn Zalyn face quickly turned pale as she couldn''t move. Zalyn-"Ahhh this is it for me.." The burrower with 8 legs swings one of it''s claw toward Zalyn She closed her eyes and waited for her ending. Ryu-"Don''t they have guns here..?how old is this world exactly....Oh god.. don''t tell me... they haven''t invented cake yet?!" Cake..cake...cake...cake... The word cake echoed within the walls of the fort The burrower suddenly halted for a second and died as a soldier stabbed on it''s back Zalyn-"Wh..who is that.." The soldiers and Zalyn looked at Ryu , who was on top of the tower. Soldier-"I.. I don''t know captain but he helped us... atleast.. I think" Ryu suddenly jumped down onto the battle field , as he landed further away from the soldiers , Ryu quickly found himself surrounded by demons Zalyn-"Ah.. you! It''s dangerous!" Zalyn held out her hands as she saw Ryu in danger Ryu-"Curse... this world... no cake!? How is that possible!" Ryu flinched his fingers and unleashed a furry barrage of chained daggers. The daggers pierced the neck of the demons , one by one , each daggers flew to their target. Ryu gripped his fingers and pulls the chained daggers toward him , as the daggers fly closer , it began to stick together , forming 4 big blades. Ryu swings his arms , spinning his daggers widely , he killed all 400 the demons that surrounded him in a single spin. Soldiers-"What the...." Soldiers-"Who is he..." Soldiers-"D..did we have someone like that..." Soldiers-"He isn''t even wearing armor... what a man..." Soldiers-"Yea but.. what is that weird clothing he got on..?" Demons , ghoul , the entire army , blindly running around and bumping into each other. As for Skeles , he protected himself with his arms while the other armored one had a barrier. In a single attack , the whole army was wiped out and Ryu stood up slowly. Ryu-"Ke , all planned" As the fire slowly distinguished away , Skeles look through the army. After a seconds , Sekeles whole body turned into million tiny pieces , while only his head remains on the ground. Skeles-"C...cu..curse you.." Kallia-"Commander Lucy... there is someone alive.. he seems angry" Kallia pointed toward the middle of the corpse. Lucy-"You are right , he may be the one who killed these demons.." Sarah-"Big brother !! Hurry , Open the door!" Sarah was really excited to open the giant iron doors that was right infront of them. Ryu-"But...I don''t know... father forbids us to open the doors.." Sarah tries to persuade her brother as she clings to his arm. Sarah-"But..but... brother.. father said not to open the door but he never said anything about not going inside" Ryu rubs his chin with his hand as he thinks , but then convinced as Sarah look at him with her puppy eyes. Ryu-"Fine... just a peek and no touching! we have to leave right after okay?" Sarah jumps of joy as she hug her brother. Sarah-"Yay I love you so much big brother!" The bike began to pick up more speed as he get closer toward the exit. As the light got brigther , the sound also got louder and suddenly Vroooom! The black bike flew out of the tunnel and the wheels split into 2 , revealing a white metal with multiple holes. Brooooooooooom The holes between the wheels released a spark of red flames and the bike suddenly flew toward the sky. Wil-"What is that!?" The soldiers stared at the sky as they were dumbfounded while staring at Ryu on the bike spitting fire. Wil-"A...a flying demon?" Zalyn-"No....that''s the man who helped us...during the fort invasion" As Ryu flew away further and further from the army , Lucy , Kallia and Nael finally arrived at the entrance. Soldier-"Oh oh this axe is now mine" Said the overly muscled soldier as the other soldiers brags about their loot. In the front of the army , Lucy , Kallia and Zalyn were talking to each other while Nael and Wil discussed about their next objective. Wil-"Now that the border is cleared , we might be able to build a better fort this times without hurry" Nael nodded and replied Nael-"Even if we have a better fort , I doubt that the demons will attack from the border anytimes soon" Wil-"I already arranged some group of scouts to be on the lookout for Seeders" Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeee In the night sky , a red bright star could be spotted on the horizon. Taking off his white suit , Ryu decided to wear his black assassin hooded uniform with multiples hidden weapons. Within Ryu''s body , as he have freely control of every single muscle in his body , a single muscle twitch revealed a knife from his black uniform. After a few side to side glances , he notice 2 small moving fire that came from the carriage and behind it , was many hopping torches that were quickly following the carriage in a pursue. Lastly , Ryu who was standing on the horse that quickly caught up with the rest of the pack by passing by the carriage. Ryu-"Hmmp" May who took a peek met eyes to eyes with the man in black that quickly passed beside her. May-"Big brother , do you know who was that?*Why does he look disappointed...*" The grey haired man shook his head and said ??-"Who is who? Anyway , we are almost home" May turns around as all the torches were laying on the ground and murmured quietly May-"We were saved?"
