 the prologue

    Chapter prologue


    Well I died, not a heroic death like I wanted but still a death. It happened in the midst of battle the imperium of man was in a heated battle with the necron scourge. Every time a necron warrior fell it would get back up again never stopping to rest always seeking to kill the living. I and my squad of guardsmen were positioned at the front line like always after all we were nothing but cannon fodder for the enemies to take a shot at.


    The green blast of a gauss rifle flew through the air tearing the arm of the sergeant next to me in half his guts flew through the air covering me and my squad with blood and such, the commissar behind us was the only thing that was stopping us from running as even if we tried to run he would gun us down for abandoning our post. The metallic dead continued to march towards us firing there weapons never giving a second for mercy because as far as they were concerned life was a disgusting abomination.


    The next thing I knew I was in the air in the claws of a tomb spyder it other claw slowly came towards my head and I felt it squeeze it slowly as if it enjoy this torture, ever so slowly I could feel my helmet begin to crack and then after that my skull, I was too scared to scream in pain as I knew what could happen my body so I took out my lazpistol put it to me skull and pulled the trigger ending my life and hopefully stopping me from coming back.


    The next thing I knew I was trapped in a wet blackness not knowing where I was I tried to move but for the life of me I couldn¡¯t, it was as if my body had no strength.

    I sat there for what felt like hours until I saw a light appear in front of me and felt a pushing from behind me. As  I slowly was pushed towards the light I was scared as hell all that was going through my mind was if I was turned into to a pariah like many other who had fought against them but then I heard a voice of a man.


    Man-¡®¡¯ come on darling I can see its crown, only one more push¡¯¡¯


    What is going on I¡¯m being been again but I died, unless I¡¯ve been reborn thank the gods now in my last life I would have been killed for saying such a thing but personally I never believed in the emperor as being a god but I always held the belief that there are multiple gods and to the dimensions as well.


    The next thing I knew I was in the arms of a person but my eyes were still adjusting to the light and since it was hurting them I couldn¡¯t help but cry out in pain.


    Mother?-¡®¡¯ darling look it¡¯s a boy, finally a son¡¯¡¯


    Father?-¡®¡¯ yes dear now what shall we call him¡¯¡¯

 Chapter 1 yaaay growing

    Chapter 1


    So it¡¯s been a couple of weeks since I was born and only just yesterday the light was still hurting my eyes but now I think I¡¯m ready to open them. I slowly open my eyelids and see a world of colour around me from the brown walls to the blue hair that is coming from the woman asleep beside me I take a closer look at her and see she is very beautiful with what many people would consider a beauty but not one that looks fake like many in my old life were. I begin to look at her more closely and I notice she has pointed ears. Oh my god she¡¯s an elf this is awesome I always wanted to leave that shithole a universe behind there was only ever war there and I was sick of it, never leaving the fronts and never being treated with even the basics of human decency but now I was here I am vowing to myself that I will make the most of it even if it seems impossible.


    I sat there for what felt like hours just looking at my mother? Until she began to stir in her sleep I let out one of the cute


    noises a baby would make to try and waken her and luckily it did. She looked at me and saw my eyes open a smile crept onto her face as she pulled me into her arms and began to cuddle me.


    Mother?-¡®¡¯whose mama¡¯s little boy eh?¡¯¡¯ she cooed to me as she got out her breast for feeding, I honestly didn¡¯t care about this aspect as it was need for me to live but I knew there may be people in my position who didn¡¯t like it.


    After this my mother would put me to sleep before going out to work for the day and come back later on in the day and feeding me before she began to play with me and try to teach me how to talk. But this was the least of my worries as I haven¡¯t seen my father at all since I was born I decided I would ask my mother when I could talk about him.


    Like this the first few months of my life passed and I learned a few things about my mother such as she was a royal elf and was near the bottom of the social structure in eleven society, I also learned that the elves were originally human but after worshipping the dragon god for hundreds of years he granted them eternal life and innate magical control, over the year the elves slowly changed depending on the situations they were in during their life , the current known types of elf were the royal elves these were the elves that first worshipped the dragon god and were considered the highest in the eleven society, my mother was the youngest one of them and as such as a lower position than the rest, the high elves these elves were the ones who commanded the highest amount of magical prowess due to this their skin colour had changed to the colour of the magic type they were most skilled in, the night elves these were your classic ¡®rogue¡¯ archetype elves with skin of a dark colour and very lithe body, dark elves these were the one that lived in caves and such and would practice different types of ¡®dark magic¡¯ they had grey skin, blood elves these weren¡¯t elves that drank blood or anything like that they were the ones most versed in the martial side of battle be that strategies or wielding a weapon their skin was almost white like milk witch confused me greatly but I suppose I can¡¯t judge considering my skin is a dark tan colour not so much that I look unnatural but would be from living in a really hot area , apparently this was the natural colour of the royal elves.

    My mother was called Elish and worked as a simple farmer, she hadn¡¯t said anything regarding my father to me yet but I would wait until I could talk properly until I asked her as so far I could say a few words such as mama and food but nothing complex.


    Another few months passed and I was able to speak in short sentences and walk around, when I first started walking my mother was ecstatic and wouldn¡¯t stop hugging me, don¡¯t get this wrong I loved the attention but it was rather stifling to me as in my first life I had never even known my mother or father. Upon thinking this I asked my mother about my father but she refused to answer me but I noticed a small look of fear in her eyes after I asked.

    Ok I know the chapter is short but this is needed until I get a outline of where I want this to go once he hits four years of age the chapters will probably get longer I will most likely do a year or too time skip to speed this up as growing is generally boring at this point but I promise he will be an overpowered mc (well as op as I can make him).  chapter 2 so many aspects so little time

    Chapter 2


    a few years passed and now I was four years of age a fledgling in elven society, I may have been four years of age but my body was developing far faster that that I already looked like a 8 year old. During the years I had learnt how to read and write the eleven script and began to do some light weight training to enhance my strength and speed quickly.


    I started it off rather small by lifting a small bag of flour seeing as we didn¡¯t have any proper weights to train with but this also helped my mother as the grains she grew was turned into flour and I carried them to the storehouse until it was time to transport it to the market, every time I began to find the bags of flour rather light I would increase the weight slightly after around a year of doing this I was able to carry 120 pounds of flour in one arm, this was extremely surprising to me as in my last life I could barely even reach that amount of weight with both arms.


    About a week away from my fifth birthday my mother told me that every eleven child would be taken at the age of five to the church to see if the dragon god would bless them and also they were able to pick the aspect they wished to follow.


    The aspect were in a sense a profession, each one focused on a different thing and only once that aspects path was complete would a person be allowed to switch to a different aspect. The aspect were as such

    The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.I suppose I should explain the landmasses and such of this world, from what I could gather there was two large continents name unsurprisingly the large and small continents, the small one was where we were located and I had a large expansive forest in which we lived as said before the forest was in front of the mountains and valleys that the dragons lived in and our people had taken it upon themselves to protect that area from and one who wished to harm the dragons, outside the forest was what I could only explain as what a garden world as there was lush scenery and lakes everywhere with magical beasts roaming and living their lives, needless to say there was a few human and beastmen kingdoms and clans that lived here.


    The larger continent¡¯s was more rocky with vast steppes and such with very few areas like the land outside the forest there apparently a race f demons lived in the upper most corner of the larger continent.


    I was torn between what aspect to take as I wanted to make myself a name here and a legacy that would echo throughout the ages, I decided that I would give it some thought over the next weeks before the temple visit.


    The next few days went by rather simply with me helping mother around the farm and increasing my own strength I was now able to carry over 300 pounds with one arm but my body hadn¡¯t gained any muscle mass, I asked my mother about this and she said that elves no matter how strong they got would never stop having their lithe bodies as the muscles would just grow stronger but not larger in mass .


    During the day before I had to go to the temple I was carrying a bag of flour over to the bakery that was inside the town as they were one of the main buyers of the flour made with mothers grains, I entered the shop and called for the master of the store when I saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, she had long red hair that reach down to the small of her back and curled slightly to one side her face was slightly angular like all eveln face but was far more cute for lack of a better word her eyes were of a deep sea green and her skin seemed to be made of pure milk, I knew from her skin tone she was a blood elf. I mustered my courage and tried talking to her.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ emm..a..a..hello¡¯¡¯ I squeaked out as I tried to talked to her but I just couldn¡¯t I don¡¯t know why I couldn¡¯t I just couldn¡¯t.


    Blood elf-¡®¡¯ hehe I see your transfixed by my beauty well then I suppose if you play your card right when your older we could how do you saw take a tumble in the hay?hmm¡¯¡¯ she said to me rather provocatively.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ emm flour deliver I came ¡®¡¯ what the fuck I couldn¡¯t help from thinking to myself as I had never gotten my words mixed up this badly before.


    She just smiled and led me behind the counter and asked me to set down the bag and then handed me a few silvers for payment.


    Blood elf-¡®¡¯ now you come back when your older I think I¡¯d like to get a bite of that supple fruit you call your ass¡¯¡¯ she called out tome as a slight moan entered her voice.


    I quickly ran back home and gave my mother the money and headed to bed silently beating myself up in my mind for stupid things I had done that day.

 chapter 3 PINK HAIR

    Chapter 3


    I awoke to the sound of water being poured into something , I looked to my left and saw my mother with a basin of water washing herself carefully before putting on a simple white one-piece dress.


    Mother-¡®¡¯now son you need to get up wash yourself and get ready for the temple visit today as it will govern what you wish to do with your life from now on ¡®¡¯ she said to me as she emptied the basin and refilled it with clean water for my usage.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ yes mother¡¯¡¯ I got up and carefully cleaned myself and pulled on the neatest black tunic that I had as well as a pair of red trousers and black boots.


    I moved outside the house where my mother was waiting for me. She began to lead me into the town where the temple to the dragon god was located. The eleven city were generally made of trees that wrapped around each other to form buildings most of the buildings in the city were like this except the temple as I was carved from the bones of a dragon that once helped defend the original elves like my mother. Apparently the dragon died after the battle between the elves and ancient human kingdom that no longer existed in this age. The temple itself was entered through the skull of the dragon and the main building was inside what would have been its chest cavity, inside was massive as the hall could hold nearly 2000 people with some room to spare.


    The room was arranged rather simply with a large number of pews starting from the back until a few feet from a statue of a large white dragon curled around a large golden egg. In the room was 40 or so different families of elves from blood elves to high elves but me and my mother seemed to be the only royal elves here. We walked up the pews near the statue and sat down waiting for the ceremony to begin.


    Soon a high elf wearing robes that had some black and blue scales sown into it arrived and introduced himself as the high priest of the dragon god, he explained that the statue behind him was connected to the dragon god himself and that he would bless each and every young elf here but we would all get a blessing that would affect us to much only ones that would increase our physical attributes by 1 or 2 percent things like that, he then moved on to explain that there used to be champions of the dragon god that would do his bidding and they usually had blessings that made them nearly five times superior to any other elves.


    He then motioned for the first child to put his hand on the orb he did and a small portion of elven script appeared above his head saying he had increase magical affinity to nature. This went on until the 30th family¡¯s child walked up to the orb she had pink hair that went down past her waist with the characteristic milk like skin of a blood elf her face was one of those that you could tell would turn into a unparalleled beauty when she was older, she placed her hand on the orb and what came up was not expected at all.

    The high priest then began to praise her as a herald of true piety and then gave her a small bangle made of dragon scales that was held in case a champion was found again, her parent were hugging her and laying praises on her while she sat there with a beaming smile on her face. The smile she had made my heart skip a beat as it was the most beautiful thing I had seen even the blood elf from yesterday paled in comparison to her smile.

    The next few family went by like normal until it was my turn, as I walked up to the orb I could hear the parents of the other children talking about me and my mother, they mostly insulted her for being a lose woman without a husband and called me a bastard child, I personally ignored them and placed my hand on the orb. As soon as I placed it there was a flash of light that blinded everyone in the temple for a short time the light quickly subsided and behind the statue was a ten foot tall white dragon that was the same in every detail to the statue in front of me. The high priest then began to fall on his knees and praise the dragon. This made me realise that this was the dragon god himself and I went on my knees as well and I assumed that the rest of the people in the temple were doing the same.


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯ don¡¯t kneel to me my son¡¯¡¯ he said to me in a voice that carried a unmistakable power but also held the warmth of a father.


    I looked up at him and motioned for me to stand and I did, he began to walk towards me as he changed into a humanoid form that could only be described as regal. He was soon in front of me and he laced his hands on my shoulders and looked me straight on the eyes with a smile on his face.


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯ now I know what you are thinking but let me tell you I am indeed your father so yes you are half dragon and your physical capabilities will always be comparable with divinity due to the fact that you are my offspring, magical as well, the blessings I give to you are two fold first you will be able to form any type of crystal you want as long as you have the mana to create them secondly you will inherit my old armour and weapons of my human form when you reach 15 years of age also you will also be taught under my first born who shares your name until 10 years of age. although I know what your kind are like with their aspects so I am declaring that this shall be the aspect of the dragon and only those who have bested either a forest lord or have become a champion of mine may follow it¡¯¡¯


    He then pulled me into his arms and said into me ear he was longing to meet me but could not until now. He then diapered as fast as he appeared. The high priest came up to me began to kneel at my feet and sing praises to me and my mother for being the lover and child of the dragon god. I personally didn¡¯t like this and asked him to stop and luckily he did and then said we had to pick our aspect except for me and the pink haired girl. Soon every one had picked their aspects and were to be brought to the brander who would brand the upper arm of the children with the mark of their aspect. The high priest told the brander of what had happened and that a new aspect mark was needed he got straight to work as his two apprentices began to mark the rest of the children with their marks, after a few hours the new mark was ready to be made it was a outline of a elf with dragon wings and a tail breathing fire while holding a spear in one hand. It took  half an hour just to get the pink haired girls mark finished before it came to mine, many times I had tried to talk to her but I always stopped myself from speaking to her as I feared she wouldn¡¯t like me.


    As my mark was burned onto my skin I vowed to myself that I would make this girl my bride even if it took my entire life.

 chaper four DRAGONS IN THE WOODS

    Chapter 4


    My mother had decided to bring me to one of the restaurant in the town so that she could tell me how she met my father. We arrived there at the restaurant where a there was two stories of seating for customer to dine at we went over and sat at a seat near the windows.


    She told of the day she met my father, she had apparently gone into the forest so that she could enjoy the sight of a simple stream as she adored nature above all else except me of course, she had been doing this when an elf with white hair appeared and startled her. At first she was scared of him but she began to talk to him about how much she liked nature and how she enjoyed just watching the plants and animals on a daily basis. This went on for a good 60 years before they actually began a physical relationship as during that time they had gotten to know each other rather well and would meet at the stream they had first met at least once a week, one day my mother had asked him if they could have a child together to witch he laughed and said that it may take a while but if that is what she wanted then he would give her a child of her own, they tried to have a child four another 40 years before I was finally conceived and on the day I was he told her who he was and then left before she could say anything. My mother didn¡¯t blame him for leaving as he is a god and most likely had business to attend to or it could be a rule between gods that once a child is conceived with a non-god the godly parents would have to leave and only appear before them when the time was right.


    When mother had finished tell me her story I was confused as she didn¡¯t look a day over twenty to me and she was in my biased opinion rather beautiful.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ mother how old are you?¡¯¡¯ I asked wanting to know


    Mother-¡®¡¯ I stopped counting after 10000 years so I have no clue but I was one of the original elves so that should give you a clue¡¯¡¯ she said to me as she looked over the menu.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ so then how many aspects have you completed then¡¯¡¯


    Mother-¡®¡¯ only two the aspect of the fire lizard and the aspect of the growing forest¡¯¡¯ she said to me as we ordered our food.


    It didn¡¯t take to long for our food to come I had a simple plate of fruit and bread with a small amount of cheese while mother had a vegetable soup, as we were eating out food a elf came over to us with his daughter in tow.


    Elf-¡®¡¯ hello I am the noble Eleds ordet and I would like to talk to you about our sons future¡¯¡¯ he said to my mother as he bowed slightly.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ hmm what about his future¡¯¡¯ my mother answered after letting the noble sit there for a few minutes while she finished her soup.


    Eleds-¡®¡¯ I would like to offer my daughter to him as hid bride¡¯¡¯ he said with a look of greed in his eyes, I could tell just from this he was only thinking of making his family more powerful and trying to gain the dragon gods favour by having his daughter marry me, this personally disgusted me as I had known things like this to happen in my old world and I didn¡¯t want any part of it.


    My mother looked at him with look that said ¡®what the hell are you doing¡¯ before telling him that I was free to choose who I would marry and such, this angered the noble but he didn¡¯t do anything rash as he knew who we were and didn¡¯t want to anger the dragon god he just walked away from out table.


    After we had finished our food my mother and I went back home and began to do some work around the farm, I went and began to thresh the grain while she dug up the vegetables we had planted and replanted those one that were to be used for cultivating, as we were doing this a priest came to us and told me that I would have to pack a bag with clothes and such as I would be head to were the dragons lived to be taught by my namesake and that a dragon that lived in the forest would be bringing me there in the next hour. My mother had look of shock on her face after hearing the news but she came up to me and embraced me telling me she would miss me and that I should try my hardest in my lessons. I hugged her back a cried into her bosom as I dont want to leave her as she was the first mother I knew. She just rubbed my head and told me to become strong while I was there so that I could protect what I cared about.


    She led me back to our small house where she made a simple bag for me and put in a few set of spare clothing for me and couple of apples so I had some food. She then began to lead me towards the temple again so that I could met with the dragon that would take me to my new teacher.

    When I arrived there I saw my future bride there with her family but she was wearing some simple leather armour while holding short sword in one hand and a dagger in the other. I was guessing that they were presents from her family who were also blood elves. There was also a large blue dragon there waiting for us with a look of amusement on it face.


    I walked up to the dragon and looked into is eyes where I could see a vast amount of intelligence. I began to lift my hand towards the dragon when every voice in the area suddenly went quiet and I could feel eyes looking at me. My hand moved closer to the dragon as the air around us began to fill with tension, as my hand touched the scales of the dragon I felt warmth like no other coming from the dragon as if it was the warmth of a long lost family member being welcomed home again. The dragon let out a slight growl at me but I couldn¡¯t feel ant anger or fur from it but more a feeling of contentment.


    Mother-¡®¡¯Xarjurn you do know that dragons generally won¡¯t let anyone touch them¡¯¡¯ my mother called to me as I was bust scratching underneath the dragons chin.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ no mother I didn¡¯t¡¯¡¯ I said as I slowly moved my hand away from the dragon, but I felt the dragon moved its head to my shoulder and place it there.


    The dragon then began to talk in a feminine voice that was gentle yet brutal at the same time.


    Dragon-¡®¡¯ why wouldn¡¯t I let one of my kind touch me young elf¡¯¡¯ she said with a slight amount of confusion in her voice


    Mother-¡®¡¯ one of your kind?¡¯¡¯


    Dragon-¡®¡¯ yes this young one is one of my kind in a sense he is the only reason that I an letting him and the other young elf ride on my back to their new teacher¡¯¡¯ she said as she nipped the back of my tunic with her teeth ad lifted me onto her back before grabbing the pink hair girl and doing the same. She then took off before saying that it was time to leave, my mother shouted up to me to be careful before the dragon began to beat her wings and head towards the mountains.


    I tried asking pinky(that¡¯s what I called her as I didn¡¯t know her name) about herself but she wouldn¡¯t respond to me. I then tried talking to the dragon whose name I learned was Saphira, she told me that we would most likely have two ears of magic training and two ears of physical training before being given a year to complete a test that would be extremely difficult. She then began to teach me how to turn into my dragonic form, she told me to imagine a dragon in my mind and then place myself into is to begin the transformation, I didn¡¯t do this at first for obvious reasons but once we landed for the night as we had been traveling all day and it would take another few days to reach the mountains, I was about to begin trying to turn into my dragon form pink came up to and said in the sweet voice I had ever heard that we should begin gathering some firewood for heat.


    I put off my practice and helped her gather some wood that was rather dry as this would catch light quicker than wet or damp wood before using a piece of flint to light the fire, after a rather small meal of rabbit and apple I began to try to enter my dragonic form. I began to imagine a dragon in my mind and slowly began to pour m being into it after doing this for a while I opened my eyes and felt myself on all fours aswell as being taller than I was normally, I looked down and saw that I had indeed transformed into a dragon with dark emerald scales that glistened in the fire light.


    I suddenly felt very tired and slipped into a deep sleep, I awoke once during the night to see that pinky was leaning up against my bod to try and stay warm as the fire had gone out, this made me smile before I realised I was still in my dragonic form, I moved my wings to shelter her and then fell asleep again.

 chapter 5 magic bitches

    Chapter 5


    I awoke to the felling of something tapping me in the ribs, I open my eyes to see that pinky was tapping me in the ribs in an effort to wake me. She looked absolutely adorable with her hair slightly dishevelled and the fact that she was still half asleep as she slowly was poking me while rubbing her eyes, I lifted my wing that I had covered her with and she immediately walked into the forest for some reason while I turned back into my human form. I then started to gather the shredding¡¯s of the clothes I was wearing before I transformed before getting a fresh pair out of my bag and grabbing an apple for breakfast.


    As I was just finishing my apple pink came back into the camp and looked at the apple core I had in my hand, I took out another apple and threw it over to her.


    Pinky-¡®¡¯thanks¡¯¡¯ was all she said to me before beginning to eat.


    Soon after this I didn¡¯t take too long for saphira to wake up and tell us to get on her back as she didn¡¯t want to waste any time, getting on to her back punky sat behind me while I was in front. As we began to take off I felt something grab onto my waist I looked down to see a small pair of slightly small hands there, I felt me face turn red and my heart began to beat a lot faster. It was at that point I noticed saphira looking back at us, she let out a small laugh before taking to the air and resuming the journey to the mountains.


    The journey after this point was really anything special except for every time we slept pink asked me to turn into m dragon form as she enjoyed the warmth that I exuded and the fact she would continuously put her arms around my waist when flying.


    After a few days we reach a rather large cave in the mountains with a small log cabin outside it. We got off saphira¡¯s back and once we did she took off and headed for the forest again.


    ???-¡®¡¯ah you¡¯re here now¡¯¡¯ .a rather smooth voice called out to us, I turned around to see what could only be described as a pretty boy coming out of the cabin. He had shoulder length blond hair and blue eyes with one of those slightly boyish faces that reminded me of a young child, he was wear a rather simple brown tunic and trousers but without any shoes.


    ???-¡®¡¯ I suppose I should introduce myself, I am your father¡¯s brother¡¯s uncle¡¯s former roommate¡¯¡¯ he said with a smile on his face.


    I could tell he was trying to make a joke but I personally didn¡¯t find it funny in the slightest.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ who are you really?¡¯¡¯. I asked him.


    ???-¡®¡¯ I¡¯m you from the future¡¯¡¯ he said still trying to joke around with us.


    Xarjurn-¡®¡¯ not funny¡¯¡¯


    ???-¡®¡¯fine, guess trying to break the ice with jokes didn¡¯t work, I am the first born son of the dragon god xarjurn but just call me Jurn while we are here and I will call you Xar as it would be very confusing for both of us as we have the same name¡¯¡¯ he said as he made a slight bow.


    At this point pinky still had said anything in fact it seemed she was just staring at him with a confused look on her face.


    Jurn them motioned us to follow him into the house where he gave us a small plate of fruit each and a small amount of mead to drink.


    He then said that our training would  be split into three sections one about martial combat, one about magical combat and then a test, we would spend two years at both the martial and magical combat before being given a year for our test. He then asked us to come into the cave beside his house so we could get geared up for our first session on magic.


    We entered the cave where we saw two rock suspended in the air with balls of different elements circling around them, he then told us to put on a white robed that he pulled out of nowhere on as it would help with the training, we quickly got changed and I felt myself being lifted in the air and I was set on the rock while the elements circled us.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ now this is very simple I want you to meditate and try to keep calm as each element hits you and don¡¯t worry about getting hurt its what the robes are for¡¯¡¯ he said as the water ball spinning around me slammed into my chest. I quickly crouched down with my feet under me and tried to clear my mind, I felt myself slowly beginning to calm down when I felt something slam into my back.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ oh by the way we won¡¯t be continuing your training until you can complete this small task¡¯¡¯ he called out as his voice slowly got quieter as I realised that he was leaving the cave.

    I sat there for what felt like hours before I began to ignore the spells hitting me and soon I became accustomed to them, I then felt my self slowly falling asleep.


    I awoke in the log cabin where jurn was sitting eating a bowl of soup.

    Jurn-¡®¡¯ so your finally awake then you been out for a few days now also it took you three months to finally learn how not allow a hit to break your concentration¡¯¡¯ he said to me ,


    ¡®Three months what it felt like a few hours, wait I didn¡¯t eat during that time how the hell am I still alive¡¯


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ oh don¡¯t worry about the time spent of hunger father made this place as a training ground for his children and his champions, so he cast spell over certain areas where a person wouldn¡¯t go hungry and such, now I would like to see you dragon form¡¯¡¯ he said as he downed the last of the soup and walked out the door.


    I followed him outside and then stood in front of him before he told me to begin to transform I slowly turned myself into my dragonic form. I grew taller and went down on all four limbs and felt my tail bone begin to grow and form into a tail, I also felt my wings break forth from my back, I didn¡¯t feel any pain from the transformation.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ hmm roughly three meter tall that¡¯s normal for a half dragon of his age, emerald scales that are harder than normal, wing span of ten feet and a length of 10 meters all in all rather impressive I can see why she cares about you¡¯¡¯ he said going around while poking, prodding and pulling at me. When he was done I turned back into my humanoid form.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ now our friend that came with you finished her exercise a month before you and is currently training in the forest with her magic, so I am going to give you a crash course in magic and after that for the rest of this first ear you will practice that magic you can use and such before we begin some sparring next year, ok, now shut up and sit down, you are half elf so ou should feel this phantom sensation on our chest near your heart, that is your mana pool normally a person would have to spend a few years trying to find and feel it but not elves as they are born with the ability to sense it. Magic is the application of this mana into a role that the caster sees fit for a purpose being of the elves and practically of the dragons you don¡¯t have to chant the incantations that are normally needed instead you have to simply think of the form you want it to take and channel the mana into it slowly, now try to make a small fire ball in your hands¡¯¡¯ he finished he rant and then asked me a very simple task


    I held out my hand and began to visualise a ball of fire in my hand but nothing happened, ¡®dam I forgot to actually try to put my mana into the spell¡¯ I tried again and very quickly a ball of fire appeared in my hands.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ good good now keep doing that with all the elements you can think of and once your done come into the house¡¯¡¯ he said as he walked off, I kept trying it with different elements but the one I felt the most comfortable with was fire, lightning and earth magic.


    As I was walking toward the house I was suddenly thrown to the ground as something smashed into me, I looked down at what had forced me to the ground and saw it was pinky, she had a small amount of twigs and leaves in her hair and had tears in her eyes, he arms were wrapped around my waist.

    Pinky-¡®¡¯ I thought you wouldn¡¯t wake up¡¯¡¯ she said as she held onto me tighter.

 chapter six bears are good news

    Chapter 6


    It¡¯s been one year since both me and Turya came to the mountains to be taught by jurn, a lot has happened such as I¡¯ve grown rather tall in fact I was told by jurn that due to me awakening of m dragon form I would mature faster than a normal elf so at the age of six I have the body of a ten year old also I am able to use some rather high grade magic now, when I first started I found it difficult to maintain a small fire tornado for even a minute but now I can keep a good five or six of them going for an entire week if I wanted, I also found out that Turya has a high aptitude at technical magic than me as I find the control and the amount of mana to put into them to small fro me to handle as my mana is near on par with a god apparently and due to the high concentrated levels of it for example if a spell that infiltrated the bod of an opponent needed 5 units of mana if I put in five units the actual amount of unit would equal 5000 that¡¯s how concentrated my mana was.


    Units were what the humans apparently measured magic in it was said that their best mages only had around 3000 units. I had tried my hardest to makes the units I used smaller but I just couldn¡¯t do the calculations that were needed as things like division were needed and I was never any good at that.


    One good thing that had happened was Turya kissed me, it may have been on the cheek but I was happy. It happened when a couple of dire bears had been traveling through the forest when she was training her magic, she was running low on power and she didn¡¯t have any weapons with her. The bears saw her as an easy meal so they began to chase after her three ran ahead to try and corral her towards the one in the back but I heard her screams as she was running and rush over in my dragon form as I was trying to breathe fire which is a lot harder than it looks, I was flying above the tree line and saw the bear in the back about to swipe her with its claws, I let my wings fold into my back and feel towards it landing straight on it back instantly killing it. I let out a roar and the other bears saw me and charged at me when the saw their dead comrade, as soon as they came into range I let out a small jet of fire roasting the one in the middle when I did this the one on the left of me swung her claws towards my neck but the just bounced off my scales I looked at it and then swung my claw at him tearing through his flesh leaving a trail of brains, bones and blood coming from my claws. I then grabbed the last bear in my jaws and lifted him into the air and began to jerk my head back and forth to break his neck. After they were all dead turya came up to me with tears in her eyes and put her arms around my neck and began to sob, I lifted her onto my back an flew us back to the log cabin where I transformed back and took her into the house and put her in her bed, as I was about to walk away from her she grabbed my arm and pulled me down towards her before planting a kiss on my cheek. For the rest of the day I couldn¡¯t think straight.


    Other than last not much changed over the year, Turya was trying to master the fine control of magic while I was trying to make the most powerful spell I could. Also Turya insisted that after the incident with the bears that she had to sleep with me in my dragon form for safety, I honestly didn¡¯t mind this as it allowed me to look at her as she slept in the mornings.


    During the second year of magic training absolutely nothing changed for me at least except every time I was in m dragon form near turya she would latch herself onto my back or one of my legs, I was beginning to think she had a dragon fetish. Also we would have mock battle that would always end up with my spells simply over powering her but she was slowly beginning to see how to possibly counter my spell now

    When it came to the third year of out stay here jurn came out to us and placed a wide selection of weapons on the ground ranging from a simple wooden club to some sort of sword that had seven spike protruding from the blade.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ now I want you to pick a weapon that you would like to use as for the next two years you will be using it every single day¡¯¡¯ he said as he watched us carefully. Tura picked up a rather long dagger and a short sword saying she already knew how to use them due to the fact her father had begun to train her when she was three, I picked up a sword that had a slight curve to it blade and had a lacquered design to its handle.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ hmm right for the first ear considering that Turya already knows what to do I will mainly focus on you young Xar, now first things first I want you to hold the blade in your hand in front of you for as long as possible¡¯¡¯ he said as he corrected the way I was holding the blade so that my grip wasn¡¯t focus on my first two fingers but spread around all of them. I was confused to why he would ask me to do this but I followed his request anyway.


    After around thirty minutes I began to feel the muscles in my arms begin to burn with effort, with every passing minute the burn would increase and after an hour I could barely feel my arms, after another hour my arms were beginning to shake with exhaustion and I could feel them beginning to lower, after this I very quickly felt them drop to my side while my hands lost all control and let go of the sword.


    I collapsed on my knees and sat there for a while. Tura came up to me and try to hand me a cup of water but I couldn¡¯t move my arms so she had to feed it to me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ jurn what was the point of that exercise?¡¯¡¯ I asked him confusedly


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ it¡¯s simple what good can a sword that can defeat it¡¯s wielder do to any damage to its foes¡¯¡¯


    He said as he began to drag me over to the front of the cabin, I was beginning to feel tired so I transformed into my dragon from and fell asleep,


    I woke up to the sweet sound of an angel breathing and saw that turya was asleep with her arms around my neck, I crack a wide smile and got up making sure that she was still asleep and transformed again and brought her inside and set her in her bed before beginning the work outs that jurn had told me to do every morning.


    These consisted of 500 squats, pull ups. Push up and 10 meter dashes each it was slightly tiring for me to do this but I knew that it would help me in the long run. For the next couple of months I continuously would try to conquer the blade I had picked and soon was able to hold the blade in my hands for an entire week before feeling tired, I felt this was incredible as turya was only able to keep her stance for around a day before she felt tired.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ now I will give you a simple Kata to follow with that blade and you will practice it until it is second nature to you to do this¡¯¡¯ he said as he demonstrated the swings, thrust and slashes of the Kata while twisting and turning.¡¯¡¯ The foot work will be taught to you after you have mastered the kata until then keep practicing¡¯¡¯

    Chapter 7


    During the past year I have mainly been training in Kata and how to move during a fight. i was able to beat Turya in close quarters rather easily but I mainly put it up to my insane strength as I was able to punch rocks into dust rather easily.


    The foot work that jurn had taught me was focused on moving around the opponents attack and striking them while they couldn¡¯t stop their current attacks, this didn¡¯t really work on Tura as she had a quick strike fighting style where she wouldn¡¯t stop moving while attacking, she told me that this was her family way of fighting for generations and that she would continue to pass it on to her children, I noticed when she said this she had a slightly red face and wouldn¡¯t look me in the eyes.


    The next few months passed without much happening, I was personally getting rather bored staying here and wanted to see my mother and I could tell that Turya was the same as she would keep getting up in the middle of the night and try to slip away so that she could cry without anyone hearing her do so, but I¡¯ve decided that I would ask jurn if we could have some time off to visit our families that we haven¡¯t seen in a while.


    I walked intot eh cave as that was where he usually stayed and saw him with a pair of red goggles on and a drill in one hand trying to extend the cave using just his strength, I walked over to him and tapped him with my foot he turned around and looked at me.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ I¡¯m sorry but I don¡¯t want what your selling¡¯¡¯ he said as he turned around again.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ not funny, but I want to ask you something¡¯¡¯ I said as I kicked him in the ribs causing him to grab them and turn round to me.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ what is it¡¯¡¯ he said as he took the goggle off.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I wanted to ask you if it was alright to head back into the forest so that me and turya could meet our families again as it been nearly four years since we last saw them¡¯¡¯

    Xar-¡®¡¯thanks¡¯¡¯ I said to him as I ran out of the cave to grab some of the stuff we would need to travel back.


    As soon as I had a couple of bags with se foods and clothes ready I turned into my dragon form and went to look for turya, I found her in the forest playing with a baby rabbit but as soon as she saw me she ran up to me and climbed on my back. This made me rather happy as I was able to spend more time with her. I took off and began to fly towards the heart of the forest where the capital of the elves was as it was where I was born and raised.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ where are we going¡¯¡¯ she asked me as I felt her arms tighten around my neck.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ jurn said we could head back home for a while as he sets up our final test¡¯¡¯ I said as I beat my wings rhythmically to the beat of my heart.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ you will have to let me meet your mother then¡¯¡¯ she said to me as she rested her head against my back.


    The next few days were rather monotonous as all we did was talk about was how our training was going and stuff like that while flying towards the city. It didn¡¯t take long for us to get near the city when we saw a blue dragon appear before us.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ hello sahpira¡¯¡¯ I said to her as we drew closer.


    Sahpira-¡®¡¯ is that the young dragon I brought to the mountains?¡¯¡¯ she asked me as we slowly got closer to the city.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ yes it is¡¯¡¯ I landed out site the temple that hadn¡¯t changed at all , I quickly noticed that there was a rather large crowd gather around the temple  but they weren¡¯t look at us but in the temple. I looked in the temple and what I saw surprised me.


    My mother was wearing a white dress and standing infront of a man who of the orb that I had touch so long ago, from the looks of things I could tell that the man was a noble a rather young one from the looks of things as he had rather darkish skin that was not of the royal elves like me and mother.


    I walked into the temple still in my dragon form and began to pad up the path toward where they were standing, each step I took was met with a very audible clack of claw on stone. Every head in the temple turned around to see me from their perspective it must have been surprising to see a large emerald scaled dragon walking towards them. The noble then looked at me and began to smile.

I looked over at mother and saw that she had a look of sadness and regret on her face.


    I moved my maw in front of the noble and roared into his face as loud as I could, this caused him to stumble backwards in surprise and trip over his own feet. I then placed me frnt claw on his chest in a way so that if he moved it would pierce him.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ Don¡¯t you ever disrespect my mother in front of me!!¡¯¡¯ I yelled at him while still in my dragonic form.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ Xarjurn? Is that you?¡¯¡¯ my mother asked me


    I turned my head to look at her and nuzzled her with me snout, she lifted her hand and began to scratch my chin which felt incredible as I could fell the love she felt for me being sent through this little contact. The noble was looking at me confused.


    Noble-¡®¡¯ but I thought her son was a humanoid¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ im half dragon so its understandable if I can go into this form¡¯¡¯ I said as I set my mother on my back where Turya still was even if she was asleep.¡¯¡¯ now might i ask what the hell you think your doing to my mother¡¯¡¯


    Noble-¡®¡¯ hmm why should I have to answer a half breed like you, al your mother is is a rather beautiful cow only useful for breeding¡¯¡¯ he spat at meas he clearly didn¡¯t understand his situation.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ so you want me to kill you¡¯¡¯ I replied to him as I slowly lowered my claws, he began to scream in pain as the slowly entered his body. It didn¡¯t take to long for him to die and I turned around and let out a low growl so that the rest of the people gathered would stat put.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ now if someone would lie to tell me who he was and why he was doing that I would be most grateful¡¯¡¯ I said to the crowd in front of me.


    A noblewoman came up and I saw that the other elves were bowing to her.


    Noble woman-¡®¡¯that man was the 3rd prince of this kingdom and he was being generous and letting the trash that is now on your back join the royal family¡¯¡¯ .she said with as much confidence as she could muster.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ you do realise the last person to insult my mother like that is dead¡¯¡¯ I said to her with a monotone voice.


    Noble woman-¡®¡¯ shut it half breed, the king will condemn you to death for killing his son, the dragon will cast you into hell for this crime¡¯¡¯ she said to me as she got a small smile on her face.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ the dragon god is my father you dumb shit¡¯¡¯ I said to her, as I said these words the colour from her face drained instantly. I raised my claw to kill her to but my mother asked me stop so I did.


    As I was lowering my claw I could hear the sounds of metal being rubbed against each other and in through the temple entrance came in around 15 guards armed with swords. The quickly surrounded me with their weapon pointed in my direction. Then a elf wearing a dark purple robe and a silver crown shaped to look like a dragon came in and walked towards me. It was clear that he was the king.


    King-¡®¡¯ Xarjurn are sentenced to death for killing my son may you rot in he..¡¯¡¯ I didn¡¯t let him finish his sentence before I had bitten him in half as I was sick of these pretentious bastard thinking they could insult and berate my mother and think they could get away with it. All the guards looked at me but didn¡¯t do anything as I walked past them and headed towards where Turya had told me her house was.

so ihave two way i can procede in the story but i would like to see what way you readers want to see it progress so i will put a poll on the two chicoe and check it again after a few hours to see what has changed and after that i may begin writing another chapter.

 chapter eight Burn bitch

    Chapter 8


    After leaving Turya off at her house me an mother headed back home to where our farm was, but when we got there all I saw was dead land. Not even weeds were growing on the once beautiful and lush land that my mother prided herself in was gone, the small house that she had owned was now a wreck the roof was falling in and the walls were tilted inwards.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ mother what happened here¡¯¡¯ I asked her as I was struggling to hold in my rage.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ the 3rd crown prince happened, he gets whatever he wants as even if they refuse he will destroy their homes and their livelihood until they can only turn to him, he forced me into that situation by claiming that he would find and kill any offspring that you sired¡¯¡¯ she said as I was turning back into my humanoid form.


    I walked up to her a pulled her into my arms. I began to rub her back as she silently cried into my shoulder.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I kill all of the people who did this mother I swear it to you¡¯¡¯


    She didn¡¯t reply but just sat in my arms as she cried, after she had finished I tried to use some earth magic to fix what had happened but it was useless as they had salted the land ensuring that nothing would ever grow here again.


    After a few hour a small group of soldiers appeared with a elf that was wearing a purple robe and had a crown on his brow. He walked up my mother ignoring me entirely.


    Elf-¡®¡¯ pardon my young lady but I would like to tell you that your late husband the third prince has died by a violent terrorist attack, I would like to offer you a place by my side as my new wife in the place of my brother after this tragic loss¡¯¡¯ he said as he did a small bow.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ fuck off scum¡¯¡¯ I shouted over to him before anyone else could say anything. the guards around him instantly turned and charged at me with their weapons drawn but i just laughed at them and summoned a small amount of lightning magic to my hands and feet. The first of the ten guards swung his sword towards me but I just caught the blade in my hands and sent a bolt of lightning through the blade instantly firing his nerves killing him, I then launched a few bolts of lightning at the approaching guards killing three of them and wounding two other. The then dashed towards the remaining four and grabbed one by the head and fried his brain.


    The other three dropped their weapons and ran away from where we were. I turned and looked at the man who had come with the guards to harass my mother.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ now scum who are you and give me one reason I shouldn¡¯t kill you¡¯¡¯ I snarled at him.


    Elf-¡®¡¯ I am the first crown prince of this kingdom and the soon to be king, and if you knew your place you should know that I can have you killed on the spot¡¯¡¯ he said with as much bravado as he could muster, at this point I had decided that I had enough of the royal family as they all seemed to be scum.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ the last person that tried to sentence me to death was bit in half and you just signed up to follow him¡¯¡¯ I said as I encased him in a coffin of earth that had a small amount of air in it that would slowly diminish as time went on.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ mother I will be back in a few minutes if not hours I¡¯ve just got to deal with some trouble makers¡¯¡¯ I said as I began to morph back into my dragon form. I then headed to the royal palace and asked to see the children of the late king, I found this rather surprising as I was sure that the word that I had killed the king would have spread by now but apparently not, not soon after a young woman of around twenty that had  figure that would make most mens heads turn to get a second look, with a large pair of breasts and hips that were rather small and nice tight thighs her golden hair just added to her beauty, a 25 year old man that was rather unremarkable and a greying elf came out to me.

    By now he couldn¡¯t even talk as he was whimpering in pain, his sister had a look of no fucks given on her face as he slowly bled out. After I had finished my work out a pair of guard had come to escort us to the new land that my mother would be given. The land given to her was rather nice as it had a small windmill with a cottage built into it by the side of a waist deep stream, lush green fields and a large orchard in one corner.

 chapter nine oh the pain

    Chapter 9


    After my mother had let go of me went into the house, it was a rather nice looking house with a large fire place and a spiral staircase leading up to the upper floor, the kitchen was rather large with enough room for 3 or 4 people, the only problem was that there was no furniture but my mother told me she would get some with the money she was saving up to try and get some new land before I returned.


    I turned to look at wesrta, she was standing there with her hands behind her back not talk just observing me and my mother. She noticed me looking at me and did a bow towards me.


    Westra-¡®¡¯ I assume you will want to have your way with me now¡¯¡¯ she said to me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ no I don¡¯t, just so you know I will not touch you unless you ask it of me and also in not even ten years of age so that¡¯s kinda out of the question at this time, and if you¡¯re wondering why I look older than that it¡¯s because of my dragonic blood making me mature faster¡¯¡¯ I said to her as I was trying to keep my composure.


    Westra-¡®¡¯ I see, but I have a question?¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ what is it¡¯¡¯


    Westra-¡®¡¯I was wondering where we shall sleep tonight as the day is getting late and beds and beddings will take a few days to be made¡¯¡¯ she said to me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ on me simple as that my dragon form is comfortable so I am told and the warmth will be enough for you as well¡¯¡¯ I answered her.


    Her face began to become red and she lowered her head.


    Westra-¡®¡¯ but we are not meant to touch dragons its considered a sin¡¯¡¯ she said in a really low voice but due to me enhanced senses that came from my father¡¯s blood i could hear what she said.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ im only half dragon you know¡¯¡¯ i said to her as I walked outside to inspect the fields around the house.


    Westra-¡®¡¯ you heard me!!¡¯¡¯ she let out a little yelp of surprise.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ yes I did¡¯¡¯ I said as I began to use magic to see how much nutrients were contained within the earth around me, what I felt was incredible as due to the stream that ran alongside the house many different minerals and nutrients were carried down steam and helped to make the earth far more fertile than normal.


    I then transformed to my dragonic state and walked over to the side of the house and lay down.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ mother, westra come I¡¯m tired and it getting late, but just so you know the spot were my neck meets my torso is claimed already so find somewhere else to lay down on me¡¯¡¯ I said as I placed my head on my fore claws¡¯¡¯. They both came up to me and lay in spots that went to annoying for me, mother crawled in between my fore claws and head while westra had decided to sleep with her back against my stomach. I quickly feel asleep and had a dream where I was hunting a large black beast that I couldn¡¯t catch a glimpse of what it looked like only it was massive and black.


    I awoke to the feeling of something slamming into me, I began to let out a growl as I opened my eyes and saw a mass of pink at my neck, I figured out who this was instantly and began to muzzle against her as she grabbed onto me.


    Out of the corner of my eye I could see both mother and westra look at each other with a slight smile on their faces. Turya then began to get up and looked at me giving me an angry look.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ I¡¯m the only one that¡¯s supposed to sleep with your dragon from¡¯¡¯ she said to me as she crossed her arms in anger. I was surprised at what she had said as she had never done anything like this before.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ ok first off we have no beds so there that and also how did you find us? ¡®¡¯. I asked her


    Turya-¡®¡¯ that a secret¡¯¡¯ she said giving me a wink before climbing up on to my back. ¡®¡¯ can we go for a ride in the sky?¡¯¡¯ she asked me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ sure it will help me wake up ¡®¡¯ I flexed the muscles in my wings and gave them a quick stretch. I then took off into the sky. The feeling of being free in the sky is something I loved as I felt as If nothing could stop me, even the winds that I could feel along my scales made me feel more alive. On my back I could hear Turya laughing as I sped around in the sky twisting and turning, we flew around for a good hour before heading back to the new house.


    As we were heading back I felt Turya¡¯s grip on me tighten slightly. She then crawled along my neck up to the spot behind my head and put her arms around me as she rested her head against mine.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ Xar I want to tell you something¡¯¡¯ she said in a very shaky voice.

I was insanely confused by what she said.


    ¡®Does this mean she likes me?¡¯ I thought to myself as I landed beside the fields and changed back accidently cause Turya to fall to the ground, she let out a cute little yelp when she hit the ground and then jumped to her feet, and she then grabbed me by my hair and pulled me close to her before kissing on the check and running off.


    I moved my hand and began to massage the place where she kissed me, my mother then came up to and pulled me into her arms.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ my little boys growing up so fast, he already has himself a girlfriend¡¯¡¯ she whispered in my ear. I just sat there not moving for a few minutes trying to get my head around what had just happened.


    After I had regained me senses I began to help my mother get the house and fields ready for what she need tam for. We got three beds for the house one for each of the people who would be living here. The fields I helped to till the land so that it would be ready for planting the work was tiring not because of the effort needed but because of the sheer amount of times I had to do it.


    The next few months that we spent in the city passed relatively peacefully as I help my mother get her new farm off the ground Westra had decided to live with my mother and help her and so far she was useless at farming but she was slowly improving day by day, the only problem was that Turya hadn¡¯t appeared again since the day where she kissed me and I was starting to get rather worried but my mother wouldn¡¯t let me go find her she said it was something to do with a woman¡¯s heart and that I wouldn¡¯t understand.


    I was helping my mother out in the fields when we heard a flapping of leathery wings we looked up so she saphira landing beside the river. she walked over to the edge of the field we were in before using her head to motion me to come to her. I walked over to her and stood in front of her.


    Saphira-¡®¡¯ youngling go into your dragon form I must check something¡¯¡¯. she said with a slightly commanding tone, I changed into my dragon form after I had gotten out of the field so that I didn¡¯t damage any of the crops.


    Saphira then began walking around me examining me from my fangs to my tail , she even asked my to stand on my back legs so that she could look and my stomach.


    Saphira-¡®¡¯ you haven¡¯t shed yet¡¯¡¯ she said to me matter of factly.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ shed?¡¯¡¯ I asked her rather confused.


    Saphira-¡®¡¯ you don¡¯t know what shedding is? Narosh what does that stupid youngling teach you, shedding is a process that a dragon goes through every hundred years, what happens is that the dragon scales and their wing membrane fall off and new ones begin to grow in their place it¡¯s a very painful process but it is needed to replace and damaged scales that a dragon may have or regrow lost wing membranes incase they have been damaged¡¯¡¯ after she had finished her explanation on what shedding was she left rather quickly grumbling about foolish younglings. I was rather worried about the shedding but I had more important things to worry about, I spent the rest of the day helping my mother around the farm.


    When I awoke the next day I decided to go for a quick bit of flying as it helped my wake up but when I transformed into my dragonic state I felt large amounts of pain as if my skin was being peeled off.

 chapter 10 how to skin your dragon

    Chapter 10


    The pain was unbearable, it was so bad that I was roaring in pain I could barely think straight, I was just thrashing around on the ground as my scales and wing membranes slowly but painfully began to come off. Every second felt like a day as the pain continued, I curled up into a ball trying to ignore the pain but it was impossible. It didn¡¯t take long for the pain to render me unconscious, while i was unconscious I had the dream about the black beast again except there was on difference I saw a female with long black hair surrounded by creatures, I couldn¡¯t make out the woman¡¯s features but I could see her killing these creatures with impunity with the axe she was holding in her slender hands.


    When I awoke I was beside the house with a number of blanket draped over me, I raised my head and saw that my mother and Turya were sorting out a pile of green things, I tried to raise my head but all I felt was pain, not from the fact I was still shedding but from the cold winds along my bare skin. This caused me to let out an involuntary growl alerting the two to my awakening. Turya was the first to look around, her eyes were rimmed with red like she was not long after finishing crying, she bolted towards me and climbed under the blanket a and wriggled her way into the spot she normally would sleep at. My mother also had reddish eyes, she walked over to me before coming up to my muzzle and began to say words of sweet relief to me, just hearing these words made me feel more relived as I knew I would have someone to help me through the pain.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ I thought I would lose you ¡¯¡¯ I heard he say with a cracking voice from were she was sitting against me.


    I was in too much pain to talk so I just growled lowly to try and let her know that I wouldn¡¯t go so easily. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw Westra coming running towards us with saphira in tow.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ thank you westra¡¯¡¯ my mother said to the elfin princess the concern for me clear in her voice.


    Saphira-¡®¡¯ hmm he going through his first shedding then, there isn¡¯t much we can do except wait it usually takes a week for the new scales and such to grow, I can help keep him warm if you would like as at this time he will be very susceptible to the elements.¡¯¡¯ She said to us as she approached me.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ if you think it will help¡¯¡¯


    Saphira then lifted Turya from where she was and set her beside mother all while she was squirming trying to break free. She then came up to me and curled her large body around me , her tail was wrapped around my stomach , her wings covering my back and her neck snaking around mine so that her face was beside me. I felt a deep primal urge coming from somewhere deep inside me but I was in too much pain to care.


    Saphira-¡®¡¯ hehe maybe in a few years little one now sleep¡¯¡¯ she said to me as I felt my eye lids growing heavy.


    The week passed rather quickly as I waited for my scales to regrow, I had asked why I couldn¡¯t just go into my humanoid from until the week had passed, but saphira told me that I should stay in my dragon from in case the scales didn¡¯t grow properly. Most of the timei would just sit there talking with whoever was around but it was mainly saphira who was around and the odd time Turya would appear but with tears in her eyes, she wouldn¡¯t tell my why she was crying but if I had to guess it was because saphira was in close proximity to me while I was waiting for my scales to regrow.


    After the week was finnaly over I was able to move again without being in pain just from the wind touching me , the first thing I decided to do was take into the sky for a while, just as I was about to leave westra came over to me and stood infront of me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯yes?¡¯¡¯


    Westra-¡®¡¯ I was wondering if you would take me with you, ive always wanted to know what it was like to feel the wind in my hair as I soared above the trees¡¯¡¯ she asked me with a slight bit of pleading in her voice. I looked at her as she held her head down with her hand clasped together infront of her. I moved over to her grabbed her by the neck of her dress and set her on my back.

    I took off and began to climb rather high in the air, soon I was at the bottom of the clouds, westra hadn¡¯t said anything all this time so turned my head and saw a very picturesque sceen.


    A blonde beauty wearing a simple white one piece while her hair flowed backwards as the wind passed by her, a large beaming smile on her face as she let out a laugh that would make the best minstrels drop their instruments as they couldn¡¯t even compared to the beauty that was exuded.


    Xar-¡¯¡¯beautiful¡¯¡¯ the words slipped out of my mouth before I had realised what I had said. A blush slowly crept on to her face as she looked down.


    Westra-¡®¡¯ thank you, no one¡¯s ever been that sincere with me, most men that meet me only say it as a way to try and butter me up¡¯¡¯ she said as her smile became even larger as she looked up again. The sight before me made my heart skip a beat.


    After a while of just soaring aimlessly in the sky i landed beside my mother¡¯s house, and saw that saphira and turya were waiting for me there with a couple of bags, they then told me that word had been sent about our final tests and we were to head back to jurn. I let Westra climb off my back and then lift turya up and set her on my back as well as setting the bags in front of her. I took flight again ignore the slight protest that my wing muscles were giving me and proceeded to head towards the mountains, the next few day spent heading to the mountain were rather boring , we flew for most of the day landed ate then slept before waking up and repeating the process. During this time Turya hadn¡¯t said a single word to me.


    When we landed beside the old log cabin we saw that jurn was sitting there with two swords in his hands, I changed back into my humanoid form and walked towards him, he gave me a quick smile as we approached but I didn¡¯t return it to him.


    Xar-¡®¡¯so you have our test ready then¡¯¡¯. I asked him


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ yes now will you each take a sword and stand 10ft apart¡¯¡¯ he said to us as he threw the blades towards me and turya.


    We complied with what he said and took our positions , we drew our blades as I figured he wanted us to get in some practice before the test started.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ good now fight to the death¡¯¡¯ he said rather nonchalantly.


    Xar/Turya-¡®¡¯what?¡¯¡¯ we both said at the same time.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ I said fight to the death¡¯¡¯ he said as a slight bit of anger crept in his voice.


    I threw down my sword and sat on the ground.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I refuse to kill the girl I love¡¯¡¯ I roared at him. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Turya had done the same.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ no I love him why would I hurt him¡¯¡¯ she shouted at the top of her voice, jurn just sat there with a look of anger on his face, after we sat there for a minute he began to walk towards me I felt a slight bit if fear creeping up my throat threatening to choke me, as he got within arm¡¯s reach of me I closed my eyes and waited for what was to come but all I felt was a hand on top of my head. I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me.


    Jurn-¡®¡¯ that¡¯s the right answer, you passed the final test¡¯¡¯. he said to me


    Xar-¡®¡¯what?¡¯¡¯

    I looked at Turya and saw she had a bright red face, I felt my owns cheeks warming up as well, I grabbed her a pulled her into my arms she also put her arms around me too.


    Xar-¡®¡¯I meant what I said¡¯¡¯ I whispered into her ears as I held her.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ me too¡¯¡¯ I heard her reply.

 chapter 11 a visit of the house

    Chapter 11


    Its been a year since the final test and things for me have never been better, I spent most of my days helping my mother around her new farm or spending time with Turya but I was yet to meet her parents, Westra seemed to be enjoying herself as she helped my mother and was actually rather good at manual work now compared to how she was, she mainly treated me like I was a younger sibling making sure I ate right and washed properly but I didn¡¯t mind although I think Turya did as every time she came round to my house and westra was bugging me she would get this cute look on her face that said she was annoyed.


    I awoke from my slumber to be greeted by a day like any other, the sun was shining, the birds chirping and I could see


    Turya walking towards my house even if she couldn¡¯t see me, she was wearing a purple one piece dress that complimented her hair nicely and her dark green eyes that always seemed to pierce my soul, her body was beginning to develop into a rather athletic only and you could see that she would be a beauty no matter what way she developed. I sat there with my arms draped over the windowsill with my head in them smiling like a fool as she got closer and closer to the house, the wind began to stir and it caused her hair to follow it making it seem as if even the wind loved her as her hair dance around. As she got closer she noticed me leaning out the window and gave me a smile and ran towards the house.


    I quickly pulled on some clothes before sprinting down the stair to see that my mother and Turya were talking in rather hushed tones, as soon as the y noticed me they stopped.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ok what is it you don¡¯t want me to hear¡¯¡¯ I asked them.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ nothing son just girl talk¡¯¡¯ she responded as she got up to make a quick meal for us all. I quickly went over to turya and gave her a hug to which she wrapped her arms around me. I could smell a slight citrusy smell coming from her hair it tickled me nose but I enjoyed it.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ so what the plan for today?¡¯¡¯ I asked her.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ well my parent want to meet you, as apparently your all I talk about¡¯¡¯ she said to me with a slight laugh in her voice.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ sure just let me get food and stuff first also I was wondering what we should do with my old scales and such they have been in storage for nearly a year¡¯¡¯ I said to her after planting a kiss on her.


    Mother-¡®¡¯ well you could have some adventuring gear made from them, the blacksmith in town may be able to do something with them¡¯¡¯. She chimed in as she handed us both a plate of meat and vegetable stew.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ yes then I can always have a bit of you to protect me¡¯¡¯ she quickly shouted out. We quickly ate the stew and once I was finished I ran upstairs grabbing a set of clothes before heading to the back of the house where there was a small opening that the stream ran through, I gave myself a quick wash before pulling on the clean clothes. I went to the outside of the house were Turya was waiting for me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ mother il come back for the scales soon, but first I want to meet Turya¡¯s parents¡¯¡¯ I said to her as we began to walk off hand in hand.


    As we walked through the forest toward where the city was I couldn¡¯t help but notice that all the small animals seemed to come up to Turya and circle her, every once in a while she would bend down and pet them making even more come over. They genrally didn¡¯t come near me they stayed a distance and seemed to give off an aura of respect to me. We enter the city after a hour of walking and there were elves running to a fro everywhere in eye sight. We ignored them and headed to Turya¡¯s house.


    We entered the house and sat down around the table, at this time her parents were out getting basic household goods and the like, we just sat there looking at each other until they returned.


    Turya¡¯s father-¡®¡¯ oh so this is the boy that has charmed my daughter, he seems to be rather cocky hmm, guess il have to beat him into shape¡¯¡¯ he said a he stood in front of me with his arms crossed, he was a rather rugged looking man for an elf at least, scars crossed his face and body while his short cropped red hair was barely visible. A metal pan came out of nowhere a hit him in the back of the head knocking him out cold. I looked to where the pan had come from and saw what could only be described as Turya¡¯s sister, the woman looked nearly exactly the same as Turya except that her bust war rather large and she had blue eyes and purple hair.

    I began to tell her about myself as she sat there everyone in a while chipping in to ask me to make certain things more clear, as we sat talking the faint smell of spices and cooking meat could be smelt from the kitchen where Turya was and it was making my mouth water just think about a home cooked meal from her.

    Xar-¡®¡¯ what with the smile ¡®¡¯I asked her.


    Ilte-¡®¡¯ my son is coming home today, he just finished a tour of the forest with the rangers and he is a major siscon so I was wondering how he will react to you that¡¯s all¡¯¡¯ she sadi to me as Turya set a plate of food in front of us, on the plate was a mass of food that looked amazing, there was potatoes, beef, chicken , sweetcorn ,peas ,onions and even gravy. I lifted up the fork in my hand and was about to dig in to the food but as I moved my fork towards it a hand came out f nowhere grabbing the plate and lifting it away from me.


    ???-¡®¡¯haha this is as good as ever sister, now why don¡¯t we go on a date together away from this lesser person¡¯¡¯ a male


    voice sounded behind me. I turned around to see a man of around 18 behind me over half way through the plate of food. I let out a growl from my throat causing everyone to look at me, the man stared at me with a smug look on his face. ¡®¡¯ what did I take something of yours? Oh wait I forgot I dint I just took the food that my family bought and so charitably gave to you¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ im gona say this outright the last person to talk down to me I killed without any second thoughts, what makes you think I won¡¯t do the same to you.. I said to him as I halfway changed into my dragonic form, this gave me scales all over my body aswell as wings and a tail but allowed me to retain a humanoid form. The man stood there with a look of


    surprise on his face before it changed to a smile.

Whoever wins will take the hand of my sister in marriage, also just so you know as I¡¯m guessing the elven laws haven¡¯t been explained to you marriage between siblings is legal as long as both agree also the duel cannot be ignored, now choose the duel or dishonour¡¯¡¯ he said to me as the smile he had grew.

 chapter 12 Dragon scale steel

    We arrived at the blacksmith rather quickly, we entered the smithy to meet a cloud of steam, the steam made mine and turya¡¯s hair rather wet but it quickly dried due to the heat inside the forge, we saw a rather small elf woman pounding away at what could be a sword or some type of tool. She didn¡¯t notice us standing there until we called out to her.


    Blacksmith-¡®¡¯ oh hai there, so what can I do for you then¡¯¡¯ she said to us as she wiped away the sweat on her brow.


    I put the bag that contained all my old scales and stuff on the counter in front of her.


    Xar-¡®¡¯what can you make with this¡¯¡¯ I asked her.


    She open the bag and her eyes began to sparkle, she then ran over to the forge and checked something before coming back over to us. She looked us over and then began making some notes on a piece of parchment that had appeared from nowhere, she then took a tape measure and came round to us and began measuring us all around.

    I turned to Turya and looked at her, she was sitting there with her hand behind her just staring at me not paying attention to what was happening, when she noticed I was looking at her she smiled and me and grabbed my arm wrapping herself around it.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ yeah sure we will help, so what do you need¡¯¡¯


    Blacksmith-¡®¡¯ first I need you to melt these scales using your fire breath as dragons fire is the only thing that can melt it, after that I will need you to melt some more metal as the base before I mix the two to create the alloy, but after that it shouldn¡¯t take too long also preferences I need them¡¯¡¯ she said to us as she dumped the scales into an empty furnace before motioning me to come over. We quickly told her our fighting styles.


    I transformed into my dragon form outside the smithy but I stuck my head in through the window as the shop was too small to fit my entire body. I began to use my breath to melt the old scales with the guidance of the smith, this process took a good three hours before she was satisfied, she then asked me what metal I wanted to mix it with the choices she gave were iron, steel, mithril, orichalcum ,and bronze. I asked her what they were like as I dint know much about the mithral or orichalcum, she told me that the mithral was a light metal that offered more protection to magical attacks while the orichalcum had a higher degree of flexibility and could be enchanted easier. I decide that I would use orichalcum for mine while Turya¡¯s would use mithral as I already had a higher magical defence that her. I melt the metals and my job was done.


    I was getting slightly tired so me a Turya decided to head to mine together to get  some shut eye before we headed back to the smithy. When we arrived we went up to my room and fell asleep on my bed in each other¡¯s arms.


    My dreams began to become more vivid as I could now feel the wind and the cold biting at my skin as I watched an army led by the black haired woman from before clashing with an army led by the black beast, bodies and limbs flew as giant creature ripped apart there foe and spell were flung causing large areas of destruction, soldiers clash cutting and bashing each other giving no mercy, the black haired woman seemed to dance around her enemies as she decapitated them or gutting them I a few seconds. I saw the beast heading my way before it unleashed a storm of fire and acid.


    I woke in a cold sweat but quickly calmed down as I saw Turya beside me still asleep, this made me smile as she talk in her sleep about trivial things. I moved out of the bed quietly trying not to wake her and headed down the stair to see if my mother was around but she wasn¡¯t and neither was westra. I just sat looking out into the forest before i felt a pair of arms wrapping themselves around me I turn my head to see Turya there but I wasn¡¯t prepared for what I saw as she seemed to have aged a few year in the time it took her to wake up.

    Xar-¡®¡¯so you look older?¡¯¡¯ I said to Turya as I was still confused by what happened.

    She then walked over to us and pressed the box into my hands telling me that this was her gift to us and that I would always have her blessing I what I did, I opened the box to see a pair of green and silver earrings in the box with a 8 inch dagger as well, the rings looked like two different metals twisted around each other but my mother told me that they were two types of jewels, one was emerald while the other was a jewel called a dragons tear which was rarer than diamond, the dagger was rather simple as it was a wooden handled steel blade that had a slight amount of silver inlaid on both the blade and hilt. Turya ran over and pulled my mother into her embrace and start to scream her thanks as she held her tight, my mother just smiled and told her to make sure that I didn¡¯t do anything stupid, at that point they began to laugh as they looked over at me.


    After this we decide to head to Turya¡¯s parent house again to ask for their blessing, this didn¡¯t take too long as they said that as long as I kept her happy they didn¡¯t mind they only thing that was annoying about heading there was her brother shouting and roaring about how he objects and that it should be him and not me, needless to say everyone ignored him. We then headed for the smithy to pick up our gear that we had asked to be made, we found the smith sitting outside with a content look on her face, she saw us approaching and smiled at us and got up a walked towards.


    Smith-¡®¡¯ ¡®lo your gear is done and might I say it¡¯s some of the best work ive ever done, now come on in and see for yourself¡¯¡¯ she led us into the forge and to a large table cover in a white sheet, she took the sheet of halfway to reveal a suit of light metal armour that was silver in colour and had green veins seemingly going through it ,it also had a slight robe coming from the lower part of it but it looked truly beautiful, there was a pair of blades beside it and they were amazingly beautiful, the first was the long dagger that Turya would normally use in her left hand it had no hilt but the way the start of the blade was designed it didn¡¯t heed one as it had what seemed to be teeth for lack of a better word coming from it in such a way that if another blade tried to go for the wielders hands it would have a hard time of it, the blade itself was slightly curved and only one edge was sharp and again like the armour is had green veins going through it, the short sword that was also there was the same except a bit longer. Turya tried them on and attached the sheathes to her waist and all I could think of was a battle maiden when I looked at her as she looked fierce yet beautiful at the same time. The smith then uncovered the other side of the table to show the gear she had made for me there was the armour and katana waiting for me, the armour was medium armour that wasn¡¯t to light or two heavy but still could take a good hit or two, it looked to be a mix of both scale and split mail, the scale mail was mainly around the area that need to be less lightly armoured and they needed to move while the split mail was at the area where hit were more likely to be taken like the arms or the chest, it was black in colour with the same green veins running along it just like in Turya¡¯s, the katana was just beautiful with a hand guard that was the shape of a dragons head, the hilt was made of a blackened wood with a dark green wrapping around it while Saya was dark green but with a black cloth to attach to the waist line of the wielder, the blade itself was a very dark black with the green veins running along, it was roughly 72 cm in length and had the slight curve that I was used to, I felt as if these weapons held the unadulterated strength of my dragon form within them.

 chapter 15 the treatment of a half

    It¡¯s been two weeks since I was first summoned here and a few things of interest have happened, over the two weeks I have come to understand about 50% of the human language and I must say compared to the elven one it is rather less succinct, I noticed that most of the people here haven¡¯t seemed to have ever met an elf before as they kept talking about my ears and the way that I looked rather lithe compared to a human male around my age. One other thing that happened was that everyday a different person would come to me trying make me become their familiar, apparently human mages use a familiar so that they have something to stand behind to protect them while they are casting their magic and also every noblemen in this empire has a familiar, so most of the people who come to me are nobles, I told each and every single one of them that came to me to fuck off basically.


    So far the only person here not to treat me like a creature was irina, she was always near me so that I could be taught the language and there was also the fact she was very interested about elves and how we lived it seemed that elves were regarded as a rare being over here as we barely leave the forest, she would also help translate for me some words and phrases I just couldn¡¯t understand but in general I was able to at least half understand most people.


    I was also informed of why I got summoned, apparently a few thousand years ago certain creature were randomly marked by the gods to become familiars for mages this mark wasn¡¯t something that was visible but at a certain time in the creatures life they would be summoned to this academy, the gods were also banned from interfering with the summoning sequence as no one could control who or what was picked and it wouldn¡¯t be fair to the other races if a god favoured a single race, all the god agreed to this.


    I also found out that I was on the large continent in the middle of the only human empire here, the empire was composed of three kingdoms each one of them covered for the other weaknesses, the empire was formed 1000 years ago when a young farmer who was rumoured to be related to one of the ancient hero¡¯s rose up against his kingdom¡¯s tyranny and started a rebellion, the farmer grew to be one of the most competent military commander ever to be seen with strategy¡¯s that would take the most advantage of the battles immediate, for example if during a battle that was taking place in an area that used to be a rather large river he would set up what would seem to be a useless choke point to the enemy¡¯s but his plan was simple, when the enemy troops charged at his men a small group of soldiers destroyed the dam that was holding back the river by doing this the foes forces were cut into two separate bodies consisting of the ones who hadn¡¯t yet started to cross the river and those who were already across, needless to say anyone who was caught up in the river flow died due to two reasons, one the force of hundreds of gallons of water smashing into them every second and two their gear stopping them from swimming.     When I asked about who the ancient heroes where irina told me that they were warriors that thousands of years ago help to slay and evil god that had taken over the demons races king and was hell bent on destroying every known piece of life, there were three heroes one of them was a human, on a dwarf and the other an elf, the only male member of the hero¡¯s was the dwarf while both the human and the elf were female. Anyone who has this colour is thought to be blessed by the spirits of the hero¡¯s and would usually be treated with more respect that someone else who didn¡¯t have that colour of hair, I found this to be insanely stupid, who in their right mind would give someone preferential treatment on the colour of their hair. I was also told that demons were considered a second class citizen here due to the fact that the imperial family were rather bigoted against non-humans.


    During this time I could feel through my earring that Turya was heading here but she wouldn¡¯t be here for quite a while, I was tempted to just leave this place but apparently a familiar can¡¯t leave the academy grounds without permission from their contractor due to this I couldn¡¯t leave the grounds. I asked about the gods as the only one I actually knew was my father, I was told there is 5 gods there was the dragon god, the goddess of beauty and law alyessa, the god of war and medicine resxa, the goddess of life and light igrea and the god of death and shadow luxa, the empire was currently in worshipped all of the gods except the dragon god as apparently they didn¡¯t believe in a dragon being a god and viewed him only as an incredibly powerful dragon, I found this rather insulting but I kept myself in check as if I did go on a rampage there was a chance that I would be killed as their would have been an entire country after me.

    After another few weeks I was able to understand the entire human language but I was still having a bit of trouble speaking it but I was at least able to get my point across, during this time not much had changed and everyday a new face would appear to try and get me to become their familiar I of course told them to fuck off, during these weeks I could feel someone staring at me when I wasn¡¯t paying attention to my surroundings.

    I walked over to her and began trying to calm her down by hugging her close to see if the embrace of another person would help her, after a few minutes of siting like that she began to calm down.

Hearing her story gave me an idea of how this country was run and it also gave me a reason to destroy this place but I would need her help if I wanted to do such a thing, i wanted to help her as she had goen through alot in her short life adn from the looks of it if she continued on her current path she would only find more pain.

I gave my proposition and watch as she thought about it.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ why would you offer something like that?¡¯¡¯ she asked me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ well for a few reasons, first im a half elf so I can understand a small amount of what you are going through, second this country is rather insulting to my father and third I hate rape and anything forced upon another person with a passion¡¯¡¯ I told her.

 chapter 16 a promise

    Chapter 16


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ your married?¡¯¡¯ she asked me with a look of surprise on her face.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ yea only got married that day before I was summoned, so that sucks but I suppose it could be worse¡¯¡¯ I said to her as a stood up.¡¯¡¯ Now first things first, are there anything that has to be done register me as your familiar?¡¯¡¯


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ as far as I know all we need to do is draw the familiar seal on you with my blood and that should do it¡¯¡¯ as she finished saying this a rock came out of nowhere and smacked her on the side of the head causing her to yelp in pain and fall on the ground.


    ???-¡®¡¯ get out of here you disgusting demon, your tainting my familiar¡¯¡¯ a voice called out that I didn¡¯t recognise. I turned round to see a rather well built young man walking towards me, he had pure white hair and a face that would make most women weak at the knees but all I saw was the sneer on his face when he looked at Kelriea. I bent down and helped her up, as I was helping her to steady herself I heard him chant something and suddenly kelriea was hit was a ball of wind sending her flying into a tree that was 20ft or so away, as she hit the tree the air escaped from her lugs leaving her to have a coughing fit to try and get some air back into her lungs.


    The man stood there with a look of disgust on his face as if to say he was disappointed that she was still alive, his face then changed to one that seemed to have a look of sorrow on it.


    ???-¡®¡¯ I am sorry about have that disgusting creature near you but worry not your master is here to take care of you, although you probably don¡¯t understand what I¡¯m say considering you¡¯re a dirty elf¡¯¡¯ he said to me as he approached me.


    He reached his hand towards me but I drew my blade and severed his arm fast enough that the pain didn¡¯t register for him for a minute, his server arm fell to the ground as his eyes slowly followed its path. He then began to wail in pain clutching his stump of an arm I walked over to where kelriea was laying and helped her to her feet a second time.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ are you okay? And also can limbs be reattached?¡¯¡¯ I asked as she slowly got herself steady.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ I¡¯m fine and yes¡¯¡¯ she said as we began to walk away from the young man. Before I got out of the area I sent a ball of fire to turn his severed arm in to ash, he looked at the pile of flaming cinders with a look of hopelessness on his face.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ who was he by the way¡¯¡¯ I asked her as we went to the familiar registration area.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ he is the first son of the Galxe family, his father is the duke in charge of the western area of the empire¡¯¡¯ she told me as we sat down and waited for our turn to register.¡¯¡¯ It was probably not a good idea to do that¡¯¡¯.

    After a few minutes of wait we were called up to a desk where we were told to head to a row of booths and go into booth number 4, we walked along the row of both and found the one marked four and entered it, inside there was a young woman with a rather forgettable appearance, she then asked us to sit down and for Kelriea to cut her finger so that she could get the blood required, as soon as she had the blood she then began to chant in a tongue I couldn¡¯t understand as it was elven, draconic or the human language that I knew I gathered that this was something that had to be done for the familiar to be registered to the master. After she had finished she asked me to remove my armour so that the seal could be placed on me, at this point kelriea took a brush made of what seemed to be ivory and some type of coarse hair and dipped it in to the small bowl that had her blood in it, when she had got a small amount of blood on the brush she then began to draw symbols that I couldn¡¯t read in their entirety as it contained many different language but I could recognise some of them but from what I could I could tell that this seal acted in a similar way to my earring as it would tell kelriea where I generally was and would also allow us to communicate mentally.


    The design seemed to be similar to what would be considered a tribal tattoo but instead of made of small amounts of text on one of my biceps, the blood then turned red hot and seared itself into my skin turning a black colour, during this time I felt a small amount of pain but it was nothing compared to when my scales had peeled off me so I endured it.

    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ I see ¡®¡¯ she said to me as we were walking towards were the food hall was as currently it was around midday and I was starting to get hungry.


    We entered the hall and went towards the table that was holding the food as it was set up in a buffet styled way, I filled the plate I had picked up with a variety of different fruits and vegetables and the odd bit of meat, Kelriea just grabbed a few bits of bread and meat and we walked over to a table and sat down to eat.


    Around us I could hear the whispers of the student insulting kelriea and even asking why she was born but since kelriea hadn¡¯t said anything about it to me I left it alone, I knew from what she had told me that because of her demon blood running through her veins she would be discriminated against but I didn¡¯t think to this extent. I noticed out of the corner of me eye that there was a few girls around a table surrounded by a mob of males trying to get their attention, every once in a while one would look over to where we were with a slightly lusty look that made a shiver go down my spine as if she was looking at as a piece of meat so I made a mental note to stay the hell away from her.


    We sat eating our food as the whispers got louder and louder and eventually they started to throw food and even some forks and knives towards kelriea, before they were about to hit her I brought out my wings and surrounded both of us with to stop whatever would hit us from hitting us, kelriea gave me a look surprise and I could hear people gasping outside.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ thank you¡¯¡¯ she said with her face pointed down as she chewed on a piece of bread.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ you need to stand up for yourself more, if you prove to them that they cant hurt you then they will most likely stop it¡¯¡¯ I said to her as I felt my wings being pelted with all manner of thing but unfortunately for them what they threw wasn¡¯t even damaging them.


    Keriea-¡®¡¯ I can¡¯t, no one here has even bothered to try and teach me due to my demon blood¡¯¡¯ she said as tears fell onto her plate, she looked up at me with tears spilling from her eyes. ¡®¡¯ why was I even born ¡®¡¯ she said as the tear cause her to begin to hiccup.

 chapter 17 the first punishment

    Chapter 17


    After finishing our food we decided to fins somewhere where I could at least try to start giving kelriea some ways of how to use magic, it didn¡¯t take too long to find the training hall that was on the campus as you could hear the shouts and the clashing of weapons and spells from ages away, we walked in to see a large group of people in a circle watching what seemed to be a duel between a fox beast man and the human that tried to claim ownership of me when I first got here.


    The fox man was using a spear in his left hand with a small buckler attached to his right arm, his stance had his centre of gravity low enabling him to take a hit without being forced backwards and also allowed him to strike slightly harder as he would unbalance himself, compared to the other guy he was far superior in terms of martial prowess as he was holding his sword in such a way that a single well placed hit would disarm him, upon the humans face was a look that seemed to imply that he would win, but from a trained person view you could tell it was the opposite.


    The fox man trust towards the human causing him to jump backwards to doge the attack but the fox man followed him not giving him a chance to react to any attacks, the human face changed to a look of terror as he narrowly dodged the attacks he then dived towards the fox man and slashed towards his head but the attack was stopped by the fox man¡¯s buckler, the human jumped back just in time to avoid the head of the spear slamming into his side, a look of pleasure came onto the human face as the fox man suddenly stopped moving, the fox man tried to move but his body refused to move the veins in his arms an face bulged out as the human walked towards him with the intent to kill him I could tell from the ambient mana in the air that a immobilisation spell had been used and if I didn¡¯t interfere that the fox man would die, he raised his sword to strike at the fox man and swung it down only for it to be block by a wall of earth that I had summoned to stop the strike. He looked around and saw me with my hand raised while my other was resting on the hilt of my katana.


    ???-¡®¡¯ what did you do that for knife ears¡¯¡¯ he snarled at me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ oh that¡¯s a new one¡¯¡¯ I said to him as I walked towards the fox man. ¡®¡¯ hey mr fox are you alright there?¡¯¡¯ I asked him as I reached him.


    Fox man-¡®¡¯yea thanks for the save¡¯¡¯ he said as he was still trying to move.


    ???-¡®¡¯oi knife ears I was talking to you!!¡¯¡¯ the human shouted at me but I continued to ignore him.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ so was this duel a friendly one or was it one to the death¡¯¡¯ I asked the fox man.


    Fox man-¡®¡¯ a friendly duel, the human there started to insult beast men like me and even threatened to find and kill my family but due to the fact that he is an imperial prince I couldn¡¯t challenge him to a duel to the death or else my can would be attacked¡¯¡¯ he said to me a she finally regained the control of his body.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I see well then I suppose I should teach him a lesson in humility¡¯¡¯ I said to him but then I whispered underneath my breath so only the fox man could hear me ¡¯¡¯and also kill the fucker¡¯¡¯.


    He gave me a look of surprise as I turned to the human. He was sitting there screaming at me to not ignore him but while i was talking to the fox man I had droned him out.

I was surprised that no royal guards had come after me but I had more pressing matter to attend to.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ thank you¡¯¡¯ I heard her say as she was behind me, I look behind me to see her with a few tears in her eyes. ¡®¡¯ he was one of the three that raped my mother¡¯¡¯.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ then I should have let him suffer a more painful death¡¯¡¯ I said to her as we arrived at a shooting range that was used for archery,¡®¡¯now let me see how we should train you, first off can you feel the mana inside of you feel the mana inside of you?¡¯¡¯ I asked her.


    Keriea-¡®¡¯ yes I can feel it demons like elves can feel the mana inside of them¡¯¡¯. she answered me.

    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ unfortunately no I don¡¯t I have never been told how to and I was never allowed near any books on magic¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ right then I will tell you how I do it, first find the man inside of you and take a small amount of it, then picture what you want that mana to turn into and then ask it to form into the thing that you have pictured¡¯¡¯ as I did this I demonstrated what I was telling her by bring a pure bal of man atomy hands before changing it into a bolt of lightning and flinging it towards on of the targets that was further down the range.


    Kelriea slowly began to bring the mana into her hand but her face was showing signs of strain and sweat was forming on her forehead, the ball of mana in her hand dissipated and she began to breathe heavily. She looked at me with smile and began to laugh.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ what so funny?¡¯¡¯ I asked her


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ it¡¯s just I¡¯ve never felt that amount of power in my hands before it felt natural, but I couldn¡¯t keep the picture of what I wanted in my head for long¡¯¡¯ she said to me as the smile she had on her face made me feel happy for some reason.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ you might need to use chants for that ive heard that humans need to do that for them to control the mana, personally I don¡¯t need to but if you want I could see what I could do to find some books on the subject¡¯¡¯


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ I see but yes that would be helpful¡¯¡¯


    The next few days passed without incident and for some reason no one tried to follow up on what I had done to the human in the training area, during this time I was going around trying to find some books on magic but I was currently unable to find any, most people seemed to have stopped insulting kelriea when I was around I guessed this was because they were scared of what I may do to them, I would run into the fox man every now and again I found out his mane was kaito and he was from the kitsune tribe, he was at the academy as an exchange student from the tribe while a human noble was at his tribe learning about some of the non-secret arts from them, I also found out he was the son of the nine-tailed revered mother, this was the matron of his tribe as it was ruled by the female members as they were considerably stronger than the males.


    I could feel then Turya was hurrying her fastest to come here and I was personally looking forward to her arrival.

 Chapter 18 a sluaghter begins

    Chapter 18


    I had finally found a book of simple magic after nearly a month of searching for it, it seems that the teachers and guard had been ordered by the emperor to try and stop any materials relating to magic reaching Kelriea. I personally assumed that this was due to the fact he didn¡¯t know how powerful she could become due to her demon blood as was wary of what may happen if she did gain some power.


    When I found the book I went straight to the training grounds and gave it to kelriea as I had asked her to go there every day and practice gathering her mana so that she could learn how to control the finer parts of magic easier, by doing this she was now able to hold the mana in her palm for a longer amount of time and control the amount that she siphoned off of her mana pool.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ Are you going to try to cast some of the magic now then?¡¯¡¯ I asked her as I sat down eating a hunk of bread.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ yes I want to be able to protect myself and to do that I need to know how to control magic¡¯¡¯ she said to me and by the tone of her voice I could tell that she meant every word of it. ¡®¡¯ oh heart of flame I ask thee to come to me and burn my foes, Fireball!!¡¯¡¯ she chant in elvish as a orb of fire appeared in her hands, she then threw the fire ball towards the dummy in front of her but it dissipated before it got to it.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ hmm try using a slightly higher amount of power the mana in the spell seemed to stop fuelling it before it got halfway towards the dummy¡¯¡¯ I said to her as I drew my katana and began to go through a simple Kata that focused on out manoeuvring your enemies and delivering a single fatal strike.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ I see thanks for the input¡¯¡¯ she said as she began to chant again but this time she was able to get the fireball to the dummy making it catch fire. She turned to look at me with a smile on her face as she was ecstatic with herself was being able to do it, I walked over to her and rubbed her head telling her that she was doing well and I would soon teach her some simple martial skills that would help her in close quarters.


    During this time kaito was near us practicing with his spear as he usually did, every once in a while he would begin talking to us in a friendly manner generally about trivial things but I honestly didn¡¯t mind as I found him to be rather good company, he also was like the others in this academy and treated kelriea like an actual person.


    During the month that I was looking for the magic book I could feel that Turya was getting a lot closer and if I had to say it would be another week before she got here, I was tempted to ask kelriea if I could leave for a while to go and get her but I dint want to leave here and return to find her hurt by those who belittled her because of her blood line. As I was thinking over what to do in my head about this situation kelriea came over to me and sat down beside me.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ what wrong with you?¡¯¡¯ she asked me as I sat there thinking of possible solution.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ huh I¡¯m just thinking about the next course of action¡¯¡¯ I responded to her quickly.

The time seemed to pass at a crawl as I moved forward I was sure that Turya was nearly right below me so I folded my wings and let myself fall through the air towards the ground, as the ground approached me I could see I carriage that seemed to be of elven design drawn by a pair of white horses, but as I got closer my blood began to boil, around the carriage was a good three hundred humans each of them dressed in rags holding what seemed to be sword and other weapons of the like, a few of them were holding a staff that had a bend in it that seemed to be designed to go around the neck of a foe, I could also see that behind the main force of them there were carts with cages attached to them with people chained up inside them from this I could gather that they were slavers.


    I could see Turya standing in a circle of bodies with her blades drenched in blood in front of the carriage and behind the carriage I could see a group of five elves trying to hold back the ones that were attempting to attack from behind.


    I quickly head towards the ground and landed beside Turya, she gave me a quick smile before turning to look at the slavers again, some of the slavers had worried looks on their face upon seeing me while others were practically knocked out just from the sight. But what I mainly noticed was that in the back of the slavers force there was someone who seemed to be rather well dressed commanding them.


    I coud hear some of them taking about how fighting a dragon wasn¡¯t part of the plan and other were just saying all the disgusting things they were planning to do to my wife.


    Slave master?-¡®¡¯ men it seems we have hit the jackpot today, not only do we have two elven beauties but also a dragon and I¡¯m sure that a single dragon can¡¯t kill over 300 men¡¯¡¯ he said causing the slavers to cheer at the prospect of a high paying capture.

 chapter 19 a reunion of the flesh

    Chapter 19


    As I leapt toward the group I unleashed a wave of fire from my maw catching a good few of them in the blaze, the flames were so hot that it was causing the flesh of the slavers to melt this was rather surprising as far as I knew flesh shouldn¡¯t do that.


    The slaver attacked me in mass but due to the toughness of my scales and the fact most of their weapons were of rather low quality every attack they made damaged their weapons making them useless, I began to swing my front claw taking the lives or limbs of each one of the slavers caught in my reach.


    Slaver-¡®¡¯ boss we can¡¯t hurt it¡¯¡¯ one shouted from the beside me.


    Slaver boss-¡®¡¯ I don¡¯t care kill it there¡¯s a fuck ton of you and he is a single creature!¡¯¡¯ he roared back.


    I changed the element of my breath to ice and froze a large cone on enemies in front of me solid, this brought the numbers of the slaver down by around 40 men and the others attacks had taken another 89, the salvers we getting scared now and trying to run but every time on tried to get away he would fall into a pitfall I made and die. I took to the air and began to breath a ring of flames around what remained of the slavers stopping them from escaping, the flapping from my wings had caused a large amount of dust to rise into the air,


    I used a small amount of wind magic to gather all this dust in the middle of the slavers before firing a small fireball towards it causing a dust explosion killing most of their forces and leaving only the leader and a few slavers on the ground trying to crawl away. the heat from the explosion and the heat from the ring of flames had heated the surrounding area rather quickly and this lead to the slavers that were frozen exploding as the ice had gone from a low temperature to a high one in a rather short amount of time. I landed again beside the leader of the slavers and sent a few rock spears into the heads of any surviving slavers killing them but I left the leader alive as it was most likely that he knew who this first prince was.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ so it¡¯s only you and me and I hope you going to tell me what I want to know or I¡¯m going to have to peel your dick like a banana¡¯¡¯ I said to the slaver leader as I lowered my head towards him.


    Slaver leader-¡®¡¯ wh..wh..what is it you want to know¡¯¡¯ he said as his face lost all the blood in it.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ who sent the salvers after my wife¡¯¡¯ I snarled at him.

    I said as I changed back into my humanoid form, this elected a look of shock from kelriea while Turya just walked to my side and wrapped her arms around me, before turning my face towards her and giving me a quick kiss on the lips.


    I returned the kiss wile putting one of my arms around her, Turya looked at me and I could tell she was happy from the light that seemed to come from her eyes. At that point I heard the sound of someone clearing their throat and saw kaito looking at me while holding my armour and my katana, I looked down and realised that I was naked, kelriea was diverting her eyes while Turya was still wrapped around me, I figured she was most likely doing this to show those around that I was hers and vice versa.


    I quickly took my armour from him and disentangled myself from Turya and dressed myself I then strapped my katana to my waist before clasping turya¡¯s hand in me, her hand quickly increased the strength that was being exerted as if to say that she wouldn¡¯t let me go this cause a smile to from upon my lips.


    Xar-¡®¡¯so kelriea anything happen while I was away?¡¯¡¯ I asked her as I tilt my head to see her.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ no nothing happened¡¯¡¯ she said while looking down as if to hide her face. From this gesture I could tell that she was lying but I decided to not force the matter as I felt that it would lead to her denying the matter more vigorously.


    Xar-¡®¡¯hmm I see, so kaito your teaching her how to hold and swing a weapon? Didn¡¯t expect you to do something like that¡¯¡¯. I said to him as he lent upon the shaft of his spear.


    Kaito-¡®¡¯ well I saw you teaching her about the basics of magic and thought she should know how to handle herself in close combat as magic is not all-powerful¡¯¡¯ he said as he took off the shield that was strapped to his forearm.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ that is true for most people but remember that if you¡¯re facing a mage that getting in close doesn¡¯t mean you have an advantage, you can never know what traps or surprises that they could have¡¯¡¯. She said as she pressed against my side.


    After this the four of us went to grab something to eat as I was rather hungry from the last night¡¯s exercises and the flight. During this time I couldn¡¯t help but notice that the girl that was looking at me when we were eating, I couldn¡¯t figure out why she was looking at me but I couldn¡¯t care less at this point since Turya was here with me.


    For the next few weeks¡¯ time passed rather peacefully a bit too peacefully if I was to be asked. During this time Turya refused to even leave me alone for a second but I didn¡¯t mind as I enjoy the time we spent together we mainly spent the time in kelriea¡¯s room, kaito continued to teach kelriea how to handle the battle axe, that she had chosen to use, when I had asked her about why she a had chosen to use a battle axe, she told me it was the same weapon that her mother¡¯s clan had used. Through this I had also learned that the  demons kinda like the beast men, each clan of demon or beast kin were of a single kind. For example Kaito¡¯s clan only had members who contained the blood of the fox in their veins but unlike some purists clans they would welcome those who contained the blood of other creatures. The demon clan that kelriea¡¯s mother had come from was the succubus clan, this clan unlike the rumours that surrounded the succubus didn¡¯t live off the life-force of men but in fact it was the emotions of their partner, the partner didn¡¯t lose their emotions but instead felt them more vigorously. She also told me that her mother was captured when the army of the empire invaded the demon¡¯s lands in an effort to gain more land and resources. Her mother''s clan was one of the higher nobility clans in the demon kingdom due to their high magical power enabling them to take and control areas of land that had a good amount of natural resources.


    From what I learned the demon kingdom was ruled by a unseen queen and she was supported by the four great clans. These clans each controlled a different aspect of the kingdom¡¯s culture. There was the succubus clan that oversaw all matter to do with magic and the arcane, the goblin clan that oversaw all engineering and weapon smithing, the Oni clan that over saw the armies of the demons and the vampires that dealt with the trade and commerce side of things.


    The beast kin didn¡¯t have their own kingdom as many of them were roving clans but this didn¡¯t mean that they were powerless in fact some of the clans had enough power to rival a small kingdom. The most prominent clans were the Kitsune clan that kaito belonged too, the silver wolf clan said to be the most warlike of them all, the dragoon brood clan who were said to be descendants of my namesake this made me give out a small laugh when I first heard it.

    During the peaceful times I began to see kelriea as a daughter that I had to protect, this led to me think about a way to save her from her disgusting father¡¯s grip, but so far I had drawn a blank.     We entered the classroom about 10 minutes into the class, before we had entered the class Turya had let go of me and straightened the uniform that she was now wearing, the uniform consisted of a white blouse worn below a black sleeveless sweater and a white and black checked skirt that Turya choose to wear rather short for some reason, I personally think  this was her way of trying to tempt me, she also wore a pair of thigh length black stockings that stopped just shy of the skirt.


    Teacher-¡®¡¯ now class we have a transfer student from what we superior humans call the great forest¡¯¡¯. The male teacher said as he looked at Turya standing beside him with lecherous eyes, I was currently trying to hold my rage in check as this teacher was seemingly planning to do something to her and the fact he was being a racist cunt. "Now I hope you will treat her well and get along with each other¡¯¡¯

    Teacher-¡®¡¯ ahem, if you two would stop that flirting in class I would like to continue the lesson¡¯¡¯ he said with a slightly annoyed look on his face.


    The lesson continued without interruption until the end, after that a group of girls surrounded both me and Turya before we got the chance to stand up, they began asking things to do with Turya¡¯s hair and such, as well as many other things along the same lines of thought. From the way they talked, I could tell that they had been kept sheltered from how the world works by their families. At one point I felt someone place their hand on my head, which caused a dangerous light to appear in Turya¡¯s eyes.


    Turya-¡¯¡¯ get your hand off of him now¡¯¡¯ she said in an ice cold voice. This caused a few of the girls to jump backwards from where they were while a few others just stood there in shock.


    Girl-¡®¡¯ why it¡¯s not like you own him¡¯¡¯ the one who was touching my head snapped back at her.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ this ring here says otherwise¡¯¡¯ she snapped back as she pointed to the ring in her ear.


    I looked up and saw that this was the same girl who had been staring  me when I had first arrived here. She had also been stalking me as I went around the academy, she had dark red hair that fell down past her knees, with the type of face that seemed to change with every second. She stood there with one hand still on my head while the other was on her waist, on her lips was a slight smirk as she looked at Turya.


    Girl-¡®¡¯ I guess that just makes things even more interesting¡¯¡¯ she said as she leaned down towards me and gave me a peck on me cheek, this cause Turya to throw a small icicle at her in rage, but the red haired girl just swatted it away before walking out of the classroom.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ ''aaaaggggggh'' just who does she think she is, touching MY HUSBAND, I HATE HER ALREADY!!¡¯¡¯ she screamed out before dragging both me and Kelriea out of the classroom and leading us towards the next one. The next class we had was our combat class, this class was held in the training arena. Once we arrived, I couldn¡¯t help but notice that the ("piss-pants")play-boy was already here. Upon seeing this even Turya and Kelriea had a slight grin on their faces.

    Xar-¡®¡¯ I''d end up destroy this place if I used my full power and you should know that¡¯¡¯ I said with a slight chuckle escaping my lips.


    She just nodded towards me before we walked over to a free area and stood there with ten meters between us, Turya drew both of her blades holding the longer one in her right hand pointing towards me while she held the other one in her left in a defensive position, I lowered myself a little and placed one hand on the hilt of my katana and the other on the Saya.


    Turya quickly dashed towards me and swung her right blade straight at my face, I immediately leaned back to avoid it, but she quickly brought her left blade up towards me as she spun in the air. I quickly drew my katana blocking her blade with the inside edge of my katana, then I pushed hard against her blade, which forced her backwards. I jumped after her wile thrusting my katana at her stomach, but she dodged my attack by stepping towards my right with a swinging motion spinning her self around till we were facing the same way. Then, while using the momentum she gained from her spin, she hits the back of my hand with the hilt of her short blade. This caused my hand shudder slightly loosening the grip I had on my katana, but it was not enough for me to lose my sword, for the next few minutes we continuously traded blows with each other neither of us were able to land a winning strike. The duel was quickly turning to a battle of attrition, so the first one to become tired would lose. But we are able fight like this for a very long time this was due to Turya being the current champion of the dragon god and me being his son, we hadn¡¯t even begun to sweat properly. While the rest of the class had already finished their duels and were watching us, a few of them were watching silently and seemed to be able to tell that the battle was far from finished, while the rest were shouting and cheering most seemed to be for Turya while very little cheered for me.


    I could see on Turya¡¯s face that she was getting annoyed over the fact she couldn¡¯t beat me even though when we had duelled when training with Jurn she would often win by setting traps in the midst of battle with her magic, but we had both agreed to not use our full power for this duel.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ lets use some magic darling¡¯¡¯ the last word she said in a slightly singsong voice.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ if that¡¯s what you want I wont hold back¡¯¡¯ I said to her as I raised a hand over my head and started to gather a large amount of mana in my hands. ¡¯¡¯you better be ready for this as I''m not going to hold back¡¯¡¯


    Turya-¡®¡¯oh I¡¯m ready¡¯¡¯ she said to me as she began to pour her mana into her blades causing one be covered in flames while the other had ice surrounding it. I threw the ball of condensed mana at her as she jumped straight towards it with both of her blades swinging in the air in front of her.

    Chapter 22


    Turya swung both the blades in her hands towards the orb of mana I threw at her, as they collided with each other, the heat of the mana orb began to cause the ice covering one of her blades to melt, the fire coming from her other blade caused the moisture released to turn into steam making a large cloud of it appear. Turya was trying to send the orb of mana right back at me but I had already gotten behind her while she was struggling to send it back, towards me and set the inner edge of my blade to her neck causing her to falter allowing the mana orb to break through her defences, as the orb of mana came towards us I simply caught it on the end of my katana and threw it straight up into the air so that it would dissipate in the air, allowing it to explode without harming anybody.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ guess I win this bout ¡®¡¯ I whispered into her ear as she lowered her arms. Everybody around us was silent many hadn¡¯t expected us to use that amount of mana and others pissed over the fact I had won, I had no idea why they hated me so much but I honestly didn¡¯t care about it.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ yeah I guess you do, although I will win the next one¡¯¡¯ she said as she stored her weapons away in there sheathe. She then wrapped herself around my arm and began to look around, I figured this was her looking for the red head that was around in the first class.


    Teacher-¡®¡¯ impressive, I can tell that you two have been training in close quarters combat and magic for at least a year from your stances¡¯¡¯ he said as he clapped his hand and walked towards us. ¡¯¡¯Might I ask who it was who taught you?¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ my brother taught us both¡¯¡¯ I said to him as we started to leave the arena to get some food as it was getting near to midday.

    Kaito-¡®¡¯ they are roughly three days travel from the west side of the capital, the emperor didn¡¯t want his favourite son to go too far away from his reach¡¯¡¯ he said as he moped up the juices of the meat on his plate with a slice of thick bread.

    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ it is a week away¡¯¡¯. Kelriea told me after staying silent for most of the day.

    The rest of them ran off to get ready for the trip while I went to wait in one of the courtyards that were dotted around the grounds. She set her hand on my knee and then began to move it upwards towards my crotch, I was rather surprised by this sudden turns of events, but I found myself unable to move. As her hand got dangerously close to my manhood she suddenly locked her lips with mine and began to swirl her tongue around in my mouth, the feeling of her tongue in my mouth was rather pleasant but still unwanted I kept trying to break free from her but I was still unable to.


    She eventually disengaged from me and gave me another smile and put a amulet in my pocket before standing up and beginning to walk off.


    Red head-¡®¡¯ I''ll be back to have some more fun with you real soon¡¯¡¯ she said as she turned to look at me while blowing a kiss in my direction.


    I sat there trying to figure out how she was able to stop me from being able move but I was unable to figure that out as I heard Turya and Kelriea in the distance. I quickly stood up and walked towards where they were.


    Turya and kelriea were standing there talking to each other in hushed tones, I couldn¡¯t quite hear what they were talking about and to be honest I didn¡¯t want to know. As they saw me approaching Turya made kelriea stop talking and then smiled over at me, they then picked up the bags that they had at their feet and walked over. Turya held her bag out to me I took it from her hands and threw it over my shoulder while kelriea just hugged hers.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ you both got what you need for this then?¡¯¡¯ I asked them to which I received two quick nods. ¡¯¡¯so we are just waiting on kaito then¡¯¡¯.


    We sat there talking about pointless topics for a few minutes until kaito turned up, he was walking towards us without anything in his hands or on his back.


    Kaito-¡®¡¯ I guess we should get going then, mother wouldn¡¯t want to be kept waiting now¡¯¡¯ he said as he stood by us.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ im guessing you told her that we were going to head over there now then¡¯¡¯ I said to him.


    Kaito-¡®¡¯ yes I did¡¯¡¯ he said as he nodded his head.


    I quickly pulled off my armour and such and handed them to Turya who stored them away safely, I then changed into my dragon form and lowered myself so that the rest of them could clamber onto my back, they all climbed up quickly but only Turya climbed up so she was right behind my head while the other two were further down on my back.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ um where are we meant to store the bags?¡¯¡¯ she asked me as she held a bag in each hand.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I''ll carry them in my mouth, that way they will be out of the way ¡®¡¯ I told her as I slowly stood up from where I was sitting.


    Kelriea than threw the bags onto the ground where the rest where, I bent my neck and grabbed the straps of the bag in my maw before talking off into the air. Behind me I could hear the sounds of a person laughing while another let out a squeal of surprise. This made me chuckle slightly as I tried to determine what direction the capital was in.


    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ it¡¯s that way¡¯¡¯ kelriea shouted out to me, I looked behind me to see her pointing the south.


    I then turned to that direction and sped through the air.

    Chapter 23


    The days passed by rather quickly as we travelled, everyday would begin with a quick meal usually consisting of bread and cheese, as these foods wouldn¡¯t spoil nearly as fast when compared to other food such as meat. After eating we would take to the air again, headed in the direction of kaito¡¯s clan. During this time I had wanted to see what the red-head had put into my pocket but, I felt as if anyone but me were to see it that something terrible would happen. I wasn¡¯t sure why I felt like this but, I knew my instincts were rather dominant due to my dragonic heritage.


    It took us roughly three days to catch sight of the capital of the empire but as soon as we saw it kaito told me to head to west side of the capita. The entire time we flew through the air I couldn¡¯t help it but I kept thinking about the red-head there was just something about her, that felt eerily familiar and similar to myself and my namesake. As we came to a small valley that was lined with trees whose bark seemed to be of a deep violet colour I spotted a rather large camp that seemed to have been there for at least a few months, the camp was made up of a mixture of tents and large wooden caravan like things that seemed to open out into medium sized cabins. I noticed a high concentration of beast kin most of whom where fox¡¯s with a few dog and cat looking ones scattered in there for good measure, one thing I did notice about the female portion of the fox¡¯s was that they all had at least two tails compared to the men who only had one. As we descended from the air I could hear some of the people screaming as if I was going to kill them while most of the others just looked up in wonder, I figured this was because they had never seen a dragon before.


    I landed with a large bang leaving an indentation in the ground a group of female kitsunecame towards us, leading them was a rather beautiful one that had dark magenta hair that flowed down past her shoulders, her face was rather sharp but held an innocent look somehow, eyes ever so slightly slanted as if to ward off the dust and debris that was blown around during long travel along the roads. Behind swish five large tails that were tipped with a grey colour.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ greeting master dragon, the nine-tailed mother has asked us to escort you to her abode¡¯¡¯ she said to me as she bowed to me, I could help but feel uneasy as no-one had really bowed to me so I wasn¡¯t sure how to react to what she had did.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ master dragon?¡¯¡¯ I asked her as I was confused why they would call me master.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ all shall be explained by the nine-tailed mother¡¯¡¯ she said with her head still lowered to me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ could you give me a few moments to change to my humanoid form please¡¯¡¯ I asked her as there wasn¡¯t really much space for my dragon form to move past the caravans.


    She quickly gave me a nod and stood there waiting for me as the others climbed off my back and onto the ground, Turya pulled out  dark red tunic and trousers for me to pull on, as I changed to my humanoid form. It took less than two minutes for me to be fully changed before the kitsune approached us.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ master dragon I shall now escort you to the revered-mother¡¯¡¯ she said before turning around and starting to walk into the camp, we all followed right behind her. As we walked threw the camp we got a good look around the camp. There were many sights that may have been considered exotic to humans due to all the beast kin around. All the different beast kin were using what seemed to be a barter system to trade for goods and services.


    It didn¡¯t take to long for the magenta haired kitsune to lead us to the front of a rather large caravan. She stood to the side of the main door and motioned for us to enter, I opened the door revealing a rather spacious room for a caravan, inside of the room was a bed that was hanging from the ceiling and on the floor around it were statues of different types of creatures ranging from a simple rabbit to what seemed to be a phoenix, all of these statues were made from what seemed to be a weird kind of bone, each one in a different colour as if to match the creature it was trying to portray.


    In the corner of the room I could see the movement of nine tails each of them swinging forward into something, these tails were dark black in colour but the tips looked to as if they were made of pure snow and seemed to blend in with the low levels of light in the room, each one seemed to have a life of its own as they danced through the air. I couldn¡¯t see who these tails came from as they continuously moved into my line of sight block all of my attempts to see who they belonged to.

    I slowly walked over not sure what to expect, as I got closer the tails began to sway more and more, their speed increased so much that I could hear the sound of them moving through the air. As I got into touching distance of the tails they suddenly shot out and wrapped around me restricting my movements, I tried to break free but they were able to hold me no matter how much I struggled. Suddenly a face appeared from the darkness, this face was of a woman with slight tapered eyes and a small nose, her lips were dark scarlet in colour as she got closer to me I couldn¡¯t help but be entranced by her eyes that seemed to hold untold amounts of knowledge.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ hmmmmmmm... I wonder if he finally sent me one to fulfil his end of the bargin?¡¯¡¯ she said as she pressed her forehead against mine.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ eh what are you doing and what do you mean bargin?¡¯¡¯ I asked her as I felt her breath brush along my face. She let out a small laugh as she withdrew from my face.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ I saved your brother¡¯s life a couple hundred years ago when I was still a young pup, he was exhausted after dueling and killing another godling, and a few demons decided to try and kill him, I was out hunting at that time and happened to see them trying to kill him, seeing that he was outnumbered and weak I stepped in and saved his life, after saving him he swore a pledge to me that he would send either his strongest disciple or his next of kin to marry into our clan. You are his next of kin, his younger brother.¡¯¡¯ she said as her tails slowly unwrapped from around me and formed a seat below her.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ What that doesn¡¯t make sense, I¡¯m only 13 years old plus how do you know who I am or what I am¡¯¡¯ I asked her with an increasingly distressed voice.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ He didn''t say when, he only said that he would send a disciple or his kin. You are obviously the second one because you smell almost exactly like him¡¯¡¯. she said as she crossed her legs in front of her while sitting.

    Xar-¡®¡¯ but here is the thing I don¡¯t really care about others, only those close to me, so there is no reason that I should join you¡¯¡¯ I responded to her causing a slight smile to creep onto her face.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ I understand your scepticism but wouldn¡¯t you rather have a large force of highly trained soilders helping you than have to fight every single person that wished to harm those you care about?¡¯¡¯ she asked me as she held up her hand and began to seemingly sharpen her nails.


    She sat there looking at her nails as she waiting for me to answer, every so often a smile would creep on to her face as she looked at me.

    Xar-¡®¡¯ What would I have to do if I did join the clan?" I asked her for clarification.

They then bowed as we came out while one walked towards us, I couldn¡¯t make out what this kitsune looked like but I could tell she was rather high ranked inside the clan.


    Kitsune in armour-¡®¡¯ we greet the revered mother and master dragon¡¯¡¯ she bowed to both of us. Before stepping to the side.


    Kitsune-¡®¡¯ oh by the way my name is Kuroki , I know not a very inventive name but it¡¯s what I got , so if you will excuse me I have to go a deal with certain matters¡¯¡¯ she said before walking off with the armoured kitsune following her.


    After she had walked away I decided to go and look for Turya and kelriea and explain the situation to them, as I walked around I couldn¡¯t help but notice that only the female kitsune had more than one tail while the males only had one. Every single one of the females would look at me with lustful eyes as I walked past but they wouldn¡¯t act.


    As I was walking around one thing I did notice is that every single person here was wearing some type of robe, I found this rather odd as I was used to people wearing tunic and the like when outside.


    Eventually as I was walking around I found Turya and kelriea talking to someone who seemed to be human, they hadn¡¯t noticed me getting closer to them as I walked over but from where I was I could hear what they were saying.


    Human-¡®¡¯ you really are a worthless sister aren¡¯t you demon¡¯¡¯ the human said with utter hate oozing out of his voice.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ shut up you scum, what gives you the right to insult her¡¯¡¯ she spat at him as she placed a hand on her sword hilt.


    Human-¡®¡¯ quiet wench, if you don¡¯t shut up I shall have to force you to be the play thing of my elite guard, but don¡¯t worry il make sure they pay you well for your body¡¯¡¯ he said to Turya as he folded his arms in front of him, I decided to sit back to see what Turya would do to him for what he said.


    Turya¡¯s face grew cold as she reached for her sword, the human looked at her with a amused expression he was most likely thinking because she was a woman that she was weak, Turya drew her blade and in one quick motion slashed the humans face taking out one of his eyes, he yelped out in pain as he fell to the ground clutching his face as the blood welled in his hands, upon hearing him scream a group of 5 guards ran over and drew their sword pointing them at turya.


    Guard-¡®¡¯ how dare you attack the prince when he was trying to help you, you will die for your insolence¡¯¡¯ he said before charging her by himself, at this point I decided to intervene and threw a bolt of lightning at him. The guard yelled in pain as he was cooked alive inside his metal armour, the lightning bolt then arced onto another guard but it only wounded him as the power had decreased slightly.

    The guards turn to see me standing there as lightning was coiling around my right arm, they took one look at me and charged most likely mad seeing as I had killed one of their comrades, as they got closer I simply cast a quick ice spell with my left hand causing them to slow down as the floor became a single sheet of ice, they fell onto the ground where stakes of ice burst out and killed them all.


    I walked over to Turya who was looking in disgust at the human on the ground. She looked at me a flashed a quick smile, she put away her sword before walking over to me with Kelriea behind her.

    Turya-¡®¡¯ not funny¡¯¡¯ she said to me with a slightly angry look on her face.

    Kelriea-¡®¡¯ yes he is, my father values him the most out of all his children¡¯¡¯ she said as she hid behind me, I was surprised that she was hiding due to how she was treated.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ you shit for brains¡¯¡¯ I yelled over at the human still on the ground clutching his face, he looked up and saw me staring at him, he then got up and walked over to me.


    Human-¡®¡¯what do you want peasant, are you goning to hand over that elven woman for punishment now?, if not then you shall die¡¯¡¯ he said talking down to me.


    At this point I began to change into my dragon from but I didn¡¯t go the full way just enough to make me taller and have scales appear all over me, the humans face paled at this sight.


    Human-¡®¡¯ you are a demon?, demons are scum, demons must die!¡¯¡¯ he said using his free hand to draw a rapier from his waist, he the thrust it toward my heart but I didn¡¯t move, the blade shattered on the scales that covered my chest as soon as it struck, the humans dropped the hilt of his sword as he yelped in pain.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I wonder if you will last as short a time as your brother¡¯¡¯ I said to him rather lazily.


    Human-¡®¡¯ what do you mean by that demon¡¯¡¯ he spat out as he looked at me.

    Xar-¡®¡¯ hmph is that really it, I heard that you were meant to be a well-trained fighter but this s just embarrassing¡¯¡¯ I said to him as took a step towards him, he then made what seemed to be a small dagger of ice in his hand and charged me with it, he got closer to me and jumped into the air he stabbed towards me but I simply grabbed his hands and lifted him into the air. He struggled to get free but he was unable to break free.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ now..... how do I kill you ¡®¡¯ I said to him as I began to move one of my hand towards his face. "Oh I''ve got an idea¡¯¡¯. I then reached down and ripped of his ball sack, he roared in pain at this, but I just laughed at him. I cast a quick healing spell to stop him from bleeding to death, I then shoved his ball sack into his mouth and held my hand over his mouth forcing him to swallow them, he whimpered in pain as I did this.


    Xar-¡®¡¯hmm I don¡¯t think that is punishment enough for someone who rapes people to death and insults my wife.¡¯¡¯ I said to him as I looked at him, his eyes pleaded me to stop, but I didn¡¯t listen as I made a quick knife out of ice and began to skin him alive.

    Chapter 25


    As I stood there looking at the pile of sobbing flesh that was the prince on the ground I couldn¡¯t help but think to myself ¡®how the fuck didn¡¯t he die form that¡¯. I then took the single sheet of skin of the ground and tied it into a bundle, I figured it would make the perfect gift for his father and would also show him that I wasn¡¯t to be fucked with when it came to insulting those that I cared about.


    Xar-¡®¡¯well then, now that, that''s dealt with shall we go somewhere Turya I have to talk to you about something¡¯¡¯ I said to her as I saw the face of some of the kitsune around me were rather pale while Kuroki had a look of amusement in her eyes.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ uhh.. yea sure¡¯¡¯ she said rather sheepishly, I could tell that she had never thought I could be this sadistic.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ kelriea you go find kaito while I talk with Turya please¡¯¡¯ I asked her as me and Turya began to walk off, she just nodded to me in a daze.


    We walked for a good five minutes before finding a rather clear place here there was no one around, I saw a bench beside a small shop that was empty and brought Turya over to it we sat down and took Turya¡¯s hand in mine, when I did this she got a rather confused expression on her face as it seemed she didn¡¯t understand why I did this.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ darling I need you to stay calm about what I am going to say ok?¡¯¡¯ I said to her trying to keep the worry out of my voice.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ why what is it?¡¯¡¯ she asked me in return as her voice began to raise slightly.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ due to my brother a promise was made to this clan that he would send his next of kin or his disciple to marry into it, and it seems that I¡¯m the one who is being put up to the task which means I have to marry another person, trust me if there was another way to do it I would but the clans leader could most likely make mincemeat out of me in seconds¡¯¡¯ I said to her I¡¯m a slightly pleading tone as I knew if she didn¡¯t like this there was a high chance that I would never see her again.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ is that it?¡¯¡¯ she said rather calmly which surprised me as I had expected her to scream and shout at me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ what?... I expected you to be more angry than that¡¯¡¯


    Turya-¡®¡¯ hehe I knew something like this would happen at some point, after all your dragon instincts will make you want to mate with any fertile female around, so I won¡¯t worry about a few extra women for you to ¡®get to know¡¯ as long as you make sure to treat us well¡¯¡¯ she said as she put one of her hands on top of my head and started to ruffle my hair.


    I then slightly pulled her chin and kissed her, I then quickly drew back from her as I heard people approaching, Turya looked like she wanted to continue but I still had some blood on me so I wasn¡¯t really in the mood.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ guess we should go see where kelriea and kaito are¡¯¡¯ I said as I stood and offered my hand to Turya, she took my hand and I helped her get to her feet. For the next few hours me and Turya went looking for kaito and kelriea but we were having a rather hard time looking for them, I blamed it on the fact that we didn¡¯t know how the camp was set up and the fact we didn¡¯t ask for directions.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ how about we split up, we might be able to find out where they are then and it¡¯s not like we can¡¯t sense were either of us are¡¯¡¯. Turya eventually suggested.


    I agreed to her suggestion and we went in different ways, I went to the west while she went east, I kept walking in that direction seeing if I could catch a glimpse of kaito or even Kuroki but unfortunately I couldn¡¯t.


    As I was walking I was lost in my thought thinking about what had happened over the last few days, I put my hand into the pocket of my trousers and took out the item that the red-head had placed there, it was a small amulet containing a coat of arms, the coat of arms seemed to be the head of a dragon in front of a kite shield. I had no clue what this meant so I put it back into my pocket.


    I kept walking until I came to an open field where I could see groups of ten or twelve kitsune training in formations, they seemed to be drilling how fast they could get into formation and how to react to the formation being broken. I could see that magenta haired kitsune that lead me to Kuroki was in charge of around 30 women.


    Magenta hair -¡®¡¯ IN FORMATION¡¯¡¯ I heard her yell as they quickly formed three lines of differing heights, the first line had their wired looking spears in a 450 angle as if to spear the rider of a horse, the second row didn¡¯t have a spear but instead had a crossbow that had a rectangular box thing on top of the area where the bowstring would be, there was also a lever seemingly on the rectangular box. The third line held a shorter katana than mine in one hand and in the other they had medium sized square shields.


    This formation, from what I could see, was used for dealing with a variety of threats from Calvary to the missiles of enemy bows, I was rather surprised at how quickly they had gotten into it, as it only took them a few seconds.


    I couldn¡¯t help but let out a whistle at how uniform there were in their actions as they didn¡¯t get into each other space and the ones with shields held them at a height that would protect both them and the crossbow wielders. A few of them turned their heads and saw me standing there looking towards them, I could hear a few of them click their tongues as if in disgust upon seeing me.

    The magenta haired one walked over to me and pointed her spear at me, this surprised me as she didn¡¯t act anything like that when I first talked to her.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ what do you want young one¡¯¡¯ she snarled at me as she kept her spear at my neck.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ hehe I was just looking around the camp no need to be so violent¡¯¡¯ I said to her in a half laugh trying to get her to lower the spear, but instead she brought the blunt end of it around and smashed it into the side of my head.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ insolent man, don¡¯t even think about trying to lie to us¡¯¡¯ she screamed at me as she then tripped me up forcing me to land on my back before pressing the blade of the spear into my throat but not pushing it through the skin.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ wow you really didn¡¯t act like this when we first met this morning¡¯¡¯ I said to her unable  to contain the surprise in my voice.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ I only spoke that way as you weren¡¯t part of the clan, and now that you are I guess I¡¯m going to have to teach you who your masters are¡¯¡¯ she said as she licked her lips.


    At this I let out a laugh and began to slowly change into a half-dragonic form making myself bigger and more muscular as well as covering my body with scales, the magenta haired kitsune simply smile at me as she jumped back.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ guess you want a fight then¡¯¡¯ she spat out at me before charging at me.


    As she came towards me I rolled backward and rose to my feet, she thrust her sear at my chest but I simply twister my body to avoid it but she then angled the blade to the side and slashed it sideways towards me, I couldn¡¯t dodge in time so I left it up to my scales to protect me, but her blade cut through them leaving a small gash on my side, I looked down at the gash and then back at her, as the blood slowly came from my wound only one thought went through my head.


    I wanted her!


    I could understand where this came from but I knew it had something to do with instincts.


    I jumped at her slashing towards her with both of my clawed hands, as they ripped through the air towards her she simply brought the blunt end of the spear up cracking me with a good hit on the underside of my jaw forcing me backwards.


    I could feel the blood coming from a wound inside my mouth so I spat it out onto the ground, the magenta haired kitsunegave me a look of surprise.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ hmm interesting no male has ever remained standing after I did that to them, you dragon have earned a small amount of respect from me, now SUBMIT TO YOUR BETTERS¡¯¡¯ she roared at me as she drew out a small single hand held crossbow from her back and let the bolt fly towards me, I swiped at the bolt with one claw swatting it away but she jumped towards me and delivered a swift knee into my stomach causing me to double over in pain as I hadn¡¯t expected her to be this strong, it felt as if she was nearly as powerful as an elder dragon.


    As soon as I felt the power from this hit my body was screaming out for me to take her, I let loose a roar and lifted her above me head as she was still in close proximity to me and threw her at the ground.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I will make you mine¡¯¡¯ the words came out of my mouth before I could stop myself, but she just looked at me with a bemused expression as if to say prove it.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ huh you¡¯re not the first dragon to say that to me, every one of them that did ran away after being on the receiving end of a beating from me¡¯¡¯ she snarled at me as lifted herself off the ground.


    I then charged at her as she was on the ground, by this point I could barely control myself but she kicked me in the stomach trying to get me to back off but I couldn¡¯t feel the pain and the grabbed her leg and drove my elbow down into it breaking it causing her to scream out in pain, I then grabbed her by the shoulder and lifted her up to my face, she had a look of defiance on her face but also a slight look of victory for some reason, I then felt  something be slid into the wound on my side she had made earlier. I looked down to see a small syringe in the wound with its plunger pushed down fully.


    My entire body suddenly lost all strength and I was forced to let go of her, we both fell to the ground but she raised herself up leaning on her spear she looked at me on the ground with a bemused expression on her face.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ I didn¡¯t expect you to be that tough, for that alone you deserve praise you even forced me to use a sedative on you, it¡¯s a wonder that it worked¡¯¡¯ she said as she then balanced on one leg, but before I could tell say ''that''s cheating'' she swiftly drove the blunt end of her spear in my stomach, all I knew next was darkness.

    Chapter 26


    In the domain of the gods there stood three figures watching a small pool of water, seemingly reflected on the water was two figures one of a humanoid with emerald scales covering him and the other being a magenta haired kitsune.


    ???-¡®¡¯hahaha you son seems to be abusing his strength a bit there dragon¡¯¡¯ one of the figures suddenly laughed out in a voice that would transfix any male being.


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯I can see that youngling, now what to do about it¡¯¡¯ the second figure mused aloud.


    ???-¡®¡¯why not seal some of his power, at least until he learns not to abuse it¡¯¡¯ the third figure said suddenly as the other two were seemingly glaring at each other.


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯hmm a good idea I may do just that , but first off I want to know why my son was summoned to be a human¡¯s familiar, alyessa care to explain?¡¯¡¯ he asked the first figure as she began to toy with her red hair.


    Alyessa looked down towards the ground seemingly trying to think about what to say, she then raise her face and looked at the dragon god, before prostrating herself before him.


    Alyessa-¡®¡¯ im sorry great dragon but I cannot tell you why he was sent there¡¯¡¯ she seemingly pleaded.


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯ and why would that be?¡¯¡¯


    Alyessa-¡®¡¯ im afraid I can¡¯t tell you that either¡¯¡¯


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯ I see but be warned if you try anything like this again I shall wipe you from existence¡¯¡¯


    Alyessa-¡®¡¯I understand¡¯¡¯ she said as she stood up again, she quickly turned around and left the side of the pool of water.


    The third figure was watching this exchange with a look of pity upon their face.


    ???-¡®¡¯ are you really going to seal his power?¡¯¡¯ the third figure asked the dragon god as he looked into the pool of water at the unconscious figure of his son being lifted up and brought into a small building.


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯ yes it would be a good lesson in humility for him, but the question is how much of his power should I seal and for how long?¡¯¡¯


    ???-¡®¡¯most of it at the very least, that would be the most sure fire way for him to learn how to properly manage his power at least until he learns humility¡¯¡¯


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯ yes lets do that then¡¯¡¯ as he said this he began to cast a spell of divine origin and then motioned towards the pool of water, in the pool of water if you looked you could see a wisp of blueish light surrounding the boy for a split second before disappearing.


    Dragon god-¡®¡¯ now I wonder how he will react¡¯¡¯ he said to the other figure.


    Xar¡¯s pov


    As I opened my eyes the first thing I saw was a wooden roof over my head, turning my head to the side I saw that Turya was lying beside me gripping onto my arms as she slept. A smile couldn¡¯t help but creep onto my lips when I saw this, I moved my free hand over and began to rub her check causing her to stir in her sleep. She slowly woke up she looked at me with eyes that seemed to still be asleep, she quickly moved herself so that she was leaning into my side with her head resting on my shoulder.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ you shouldn¡¯t have given into your instincts that quickly dear, even worse you actually allowed yourself to be knocked out¡¯¡¯ she said as she draped her arm over my chest.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I know, something snapped inside when she wounded me I just couldn¡¯t stop myself from then on, but there is still one thing im confused about¡¯¡¯


    Turya-¡®¡¯ what would that be¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯why did she have a sedative on her person it seems rather weird¡¯¡¯


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ that¡¯s because some members of the clan go into a blood fuelled rampage when the have been exposed to too much blood, so we have to use that to make them manageable at times, it also help silence any wounded soldiers¡¯¡¯ she said as she came into the room through a door at my feet, she was carrying a small tray of food and what seemed to be bandages.

    Xar-¡®¡¯ I¡¯m not from that clan, I¡¯m half elf, half dragon in fact im the brother to the person that the dragon-brood clan say they are descended from¡¯¡¯ I said as I finished the food that she had handed me.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ wait then that means you¡¯re a godling¡¯¡¯ she said as a look of shock appeared upon her face.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ that would be the case¡¯¡¯

    Xar-¡®¡¯by the way during the fight we had it seemed to me that you had fought someone with draconic heritage before from what you said¡¯¡¯ I asked her  as Turya was still nuzzled into my chest but listening to what we were talking about.


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ that¡¯s true most of the time when the three big beast kin clans meet many of the dragon-brood will try to get the most beautiful or martially strong members of the other two clans to join theirs, the elders of the other two clans made a rule that they had to woo or defeat said member of the clans but only if they could offer something of similar value, due to that ive had to fight off tons of the dragon-broods ¡®alpha males¡¯ during those times¡¯¡¯ she explained to me.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I see but one last question, how were you able to break through the defences of my scales?¡¯¡¯


    Magenta hair-¡®¡¯ my naginata has been drenched in the blood of the dragon-brood for hundreds of years in must have inherited some of the strength of the ones that I killed is my only guess¡¯¡¯

    Aya-¡®¡¯ what about you hats your take on this¡¯¡¯ she said to me folding her arms in front of her chest, this cause her rather nicely sized breasts to be forced upwards making them stand out more.

    Xar-¡®¡¯ then lets go¡¯¡¯ I said as I stood up forcing Turya to stand as well, quickly getting dressed we then headed out to find Kuroki so that we could finalise the marriage, as we walked around I found out a few things about aya, first she was second in command of the tribe military forces, second that she was the niece of Kuroki, she also had a rather large house carriage that could house up to 7 people. I also found out a few things that were going to happen over the next few weeks before the lands meet, apparently the three main beast kin clans were going to meet up so that they could decide who among them would be attending it, there was also going to be a few clan wars to see who would have the majority vote for all political matter among them.


    It didn¡¯t take too long to find out where koruki was as we found her eating a rather large slice of fish in front of a rather small house carriage, also in front of the carriage was kaito and kelriea who seemed to be talking about something together.


    As we approached she saw us coming and a rather nonchalant look on her face as if to say she knew what was going to happen.


    Kuroki-¡®¡¯ so what brings you three here then?¡¯¡¯


    Aya-¡®¡¯ aunt I think you know¡¯¡¯ she said with a rather annoyed tone leaking from her voice.


    Kuroki-¡®¡¯ hehe yes I do now are you sure you want to do this aya?¡¯¡¯ she asked her clearly worried over her niece


    Aya-¡®¡¯ yes he isn¡¯t that bad a person and I know he will try his best to keep me safe at the very least¡¯¡¯


    Kuroki-¡®¡¯ I see well then, hand me your dagger and lets do this¡¯¡¯. she said as she held her hand out to aya, aya then handed over a curved dagger that she had strapped to her leg. Kuroki then seemingly pulled a rather long strip of purple cloth from nowhere. ¡¯¡¯give me you hands¡¯¡¯ she said, both me and aya then gave her our arms , with a single quick slash she cut our wrists in a rather fluid motion the blood began to well up from the cut before slowly rolling past the edges of my wrist and falling to the ground, Kuroki then pressed both of the wounds together, I winched as the pain as unexpected, she then wrapped the cloth tightly around our wrists.

    As I was saying this aya fell to the ground and began to let out noises that seemed to be suggesting that she was in a lot of pain. Kuroki just looked at her with a bemused expression on her face, I quickly bent down and tried to see if I could help her in any way but she just looked at me and told me give her some space, standing I looked at her as all her tails merged into one and then suddenly split again but instead of their being 5 there was now seven.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ what the hell just happened¡¯¡¯ I couldn¡¯t help but ask.


    Kuroki-¡®¡¯ interesting, it seems due to you bloodline the amount of power contain within your blood somehow increased the strength that aya had¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ that doesn¡¯t make sense¡¯¡¯


    Kuroki-¡®¡¯ actually it does, many humans try and hunt dragons so that they can eat their hearts to become more powerful, so if a normal dragon can increase a person¡¯s strength by leaps and bounds if their heart is eaten then why couldn¡¯t the blood of  a son of a dragon god increase a person¡¯s power by a large amount¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I see¡¯¡¯


    Kuroki-¡®¡¯ im guessing that if we don¡¯t heal your wrists then her power will just continue to increase¡¯¡¯ as she said this aya tails once again fused into one before splitting again but this time she das 12 tails, seeing this Kuroki let out a gasp of surprise and quickly severed the purple cloth that bound our wrists together.¡¯¡¯ She isnt a normal kitsune anymore, if I could make a guess I¡¯d say she is now a divine kitsune, never in all my years have I ever seen something like this¡¯¡¯


    Aya-¡®¡¯ egh what happened¡¯¡¯ she said raising herself on to her hands as she looked up at us, she then let out a yelp before grabbing a few of her new tails and looking at them.¡¯¡¯ Why have I got more tails¡¯¡¯. Kuroki quickly explain what had happened to her before saying that it was time that the clan headed to the meeting with the other two clans.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ are you ok?¡¯¡¯ I asked aya as she walked in daze beside me.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ yeah im just surprised about suddenly having more tails, it feels so surreal¡¯¡¯

    Turya-¡®¡¯ hmm yes¡¯¡¯ she said as during the time we were walking back to what I assumed would be Aya¡¯s house carriage she was glued to my arm not willing to let go.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ when we get back to my house I want to have some marital time with xarjurn if you don¡¯t mind¡¯¡¯. As she said this my mind was baffled as I had not asked her at all about this type of thing and I didn¡¯t expect her to be the one to bring it up.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ I dont mind but next time it shall be me that has time with him got it¡¯¡¯.she said in a rather commanding tone. Aya just gave her a nod as I think she wasn¡¯t expecting her to be so commanding


    Once we arrived at aya¡¯s house carriage we entered into a rather spacious carriage, on third of it seemed to be for relaxation as it had a large pile of cushions and blankest on the floor,  another third seemed to be for preparing food and the last part seemed to be full of armour and weapon racks.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ follow me ¡®¡¯she said leading me towards the pile of cushions before grabbing the edge of my collar and kissing me deeply, she kept her tongue in my mouth for a good few seconds before disengaging from me and roughly throwing me onto the pile of cushions on the ground, as I was laying on the ground her tails wrapped around each of my limbs not letting me move, the other tails then ripped the clothes off my body.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ ever since our blood was mixed ive been having a craving for your body, I don¡¯t know why but I want you¡¯¡¯. She said rather lustily as she drew closer to me.

    As my eyes opened all I could see was a mass of purple in front of my eyes, I looked over to see Aya laying across my chest as her tails covered us both as if acting as a blanket. As I remembered the passion that was last night I couldn¡¯t help but feel a smile creeping onto my face.


    At this moment Turya walked in and saw us both laying there, she walked up to me and lay beside us wrapping her arms around me, she then whispered into my ear that she wanted to have some fun with me, needless to say I didn¡¯t say no, our rutting caused Aya to wake up as we finished, she just looked at us and gave out a laugh.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ that¡¯s one way to be woken up¡¯¡¯ she said as she rose to her feet. ¡¯¡¯now we need to get dressed the clan is leaving to meet with the other two clans today¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ got it¡¯¡¯ I responded as I threw on a tunic and trousers.


    After this we helped Aya to pack up her carriage with her belongings, this process didn¡¯t take more than an hour, as we were finishing up Kuroki came up and told us to head on ahead as a sort of advance party in case there was any dangers on the road ahead.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ so who is going to be pulling the carriage?¡¯¡¯ I asked them as we stood at the exit to the camp.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ the lizra¡¯s will be¡¯¡¯ she said as two kitsune brought over two 5 meter tll lizards that stood on their hind legs, the lizards scales seemed to be partly made of chitons, there heads seemed to have two small hole on either side on their bottom jaws while their claws looked to be very similar to a scything talon from where my first life was.


    Aya quickly latched them onto the carriage before climbing on top of it and waited for both me and Turya to get on it.as we both sat down on the carriage she pulled the reins that were around the muzzles of the lizra¡¯s making them start to pull.


    As we travelled we didn¡¯t talk much as Aya had asked us to remain on high alert as slavers sometimes would try and capture beast kin to sell as slaves luckily we never ran into any as we reached the meeting point of the clan rather easily, when we got there we saw two other similar looking carriages but instead of being used by kitsune I could see that there was one with large white wolves standing upright with all types of close quarter weapons on their waists, the other carriage had what seemed to be humans but with horns and scales around the top of their heads, I thought this looked disgusting as they seemed to be trying to emulate a crown as if to say they were the born to be rulers, there was also something inside that told me to view them as less than a drake which was the first step in a dragons life cycle.


    As we approached I could see a few of the horned ones giving both Turya and aya a look that seemed to be evaluating them, one of them had a look of disgust on his face as he saw both mine and turya¡¯s ears, the wolves just gave us a nod before coming over to us.


    Lead wolf-¡®¡¯ hello friends I take it you are the scouting force of he kitsune¡¯¡¯ he asked us, I decided to Aya handle this as I didn¡¯t know too much about the politics of the beast kin.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ yes that is the case and might I say it is nice to meet you again reft¡¯¡¯ aya said as we dismounted from the carriage.


    Reft-¡®¡¯ oh your young aya if im not mistaken, the last time I saw you your height could barely reach up to my waist and now your almost as tall as me¡¯¡¯ he said as he let out a laugh and ruffled her hair, in response aya just grabbed his hand and flipped him onto the floor, this caused the wolf to let out a laugh as he raised himself to his feet again.¡¯¡¯ you have gotten a lot stronger since we last met, id say that the dragon brood males will try for you again this year¡¯¡¯


    Aya-¡®¡¯they have no right to challenge me anymore thankfully¡¯¡¯ she said as she unhitched the lizra¡¯s from the carriage .


    Reft-¡®¡¯ oh how so?, is this elf behind you your man?¡¯¡¯ he asked us eyeing me up.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ yes that¡¯s right she is my wife¡¯¡¯ I answered him as I placed my hand on my katana that was strapped onto the side of the carriage .

    Reft-¡®¡¯ oh are you looking for a challenge elf?¡¯¡¯ He asked as his lips went into a snarl. In response I drew my blade and launched myself at him, he grabbed the axe that was on his waist and used the shaft to block the blade causing it to get lodged inside the wood, he then delivered a punch into my chest causing me to take a few steps back.


    I could tell that there was something wrong with me, it wasn¡¯t that my strength had changed more like the flow of mana was irregular inside me causing my body to extort less power, as I felt this I tried to draw out a small amount if lightning to my hand but nothing came, terror slowly built up inside if me as my mind instantly went to the worst conclusion.


    Had I lost the ability to use magic?


    I kept trying to use all the types of magic I knew as I continuously dodged punches and swings from the wolf until finally I felt the mana work around my hand, I looked down to see my hand cover in slowly revolving clear crystals.


    The wolf seeing this quickly backed off and threw the axe at me, as I wasn¡¯t expecting this it slammed into my chest giving me a rather large gash before falling to the ground, the blood fell to the ground creating a small pool below me, I quickly brought the crystals to the wound and sent a small amount of mana into it causing crystals to form from my blood blocking the flow.


    Seeing this the wolf growled at me as his hands changed into more claw like appendages, he leaped at me slashing towards my face, I quickly brought up my hand still covered in crystals and sent them from it, a cascade of foot long crystals began to shower over him delivering deep lacerations to him before he fell to the ground unable to move.


    Relf-¡®¡¯ well¡­. I¡­didn¡¯t¡­expect..that¡¯¡¯ he wheezed over between breaths, one of the other wolves ran up to him and quickly started to cast a healing spell on him.


    I stood there not really listening as I tried to figure out what went wrong, but no matter what I thought of i couldn¡¯t figure out an answer.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ what wrong?¡¯¡¯ she asked me as she drew level with where I was standing.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I couldn¡¯t use any magic, the only one I could use was crystal¡¯¡¯ I said to her in a barely audible whisper.


    Turya-¡®¡¯ that doesn¡¯t seem normal¡¯¡¯  she said with the concern evident in her voice.


    At that moment aya appeared and in front of me.


    Aya-¡®¡¯ your magic isn¡¯t working properly?¡¯¡¯ she said with a confused look. ¡®¡¯ how many elements can you even use¡¯¡¯


    Xar-¡®¡¯ I can or was able to use them all¡¯¡¯

    We walked over to the carriage and quickly unpacked tit setting everything into place, after a while both Turya and aya left saying something about a hot spring that the females of the clans would use to wash themselves leaving me alone with the other members of the clans.


    Relf seemed to have been fully healed and was off a short distance from where I was sitting, as I sat there one of the dragon brood came over to me and spat on the ground in front of me. Looking up at him I gave him a confused look.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ what was that for? ¡®¡¯


    Dragon brood-¡®¡¯ it¡¯s a warning stay away from my woman¡¯¡¯ he spat at me causing me to let out a laugh.


    Xar-¡®¡¯ oh that¡¯s funny, you who isn¡¯t even at the level of a drake tries to threaten me? Go back to your mother before I rip out your heart and eat it¡¯¡¯


    This caused him to gored in the face with anger before he sent a small gout of fire towards me from his mouth, I simply brought my scales out and endured it not feeling a single bit of pain. As he stood there with a look of triumph on his face it quickly changed to horror as he saw me still sitting there not even wounded.
