《Beyond Blue》 Chapter 1- The End Of My Old Life Here in this high end neighborhood are all people who work in business, law, and other high paying lines of work. The houses all radiate wealth and power, however there is one house that''s different. Not because of how it looks, but what goes on inside of it. Often you can hear yelling and arguments going on,even from the road. And the cause is always the same. A 15 year old kid, getting bitched out by his parents. That kid is me ¡®Glenn Banks¡¯ son of the best lawyer in town. So why I am I getting yelled at this time? That''s because some punks, tried attacking me and ended up in the hospital. ¡°Why do you keep on doing this? Again and again!¡± Screamed the middle aged woman that I call mother. I believe her name is Sue... never really bothered to care about it. ¡°That''s because people just can''t stand the way I look.¡± I replied ¡°Might be the looks I got from you that makes them want to hit me.¡± Now I don''t really mean that, but hearing this all the time is rather annoying. ¡°Don''t give me that attitude. You attack people for what?! Being talked down to, or what was it you said... Oh yea, because they looked at you as if mocking you!¡± Well she is right I have been known to do that, but it''s not like I do it by choice, my mind just snaps at those sort of things. And I¡¯m not going to just back down when they start fighting back. I¡¯ve got my pride. Usually I just scare them, and let them know not to even make eye contact with me; thats the only way to make sure I don''t lose control of myself. That is the one thing I''ve come to both hate, and accept about myself. Nothing has helped me stop from instinctively doing those things... ¡°I''m out of here. I don''t need to listen to this crap!¡± Yea I need to calm down. ¡°And they got what was coming to them!¡± I scream back as I began to walk out of the house and towards the road. And there I go, storming off and getting looks from the neighbors again... Dammit. Well I should head to the only person who even tries to understand me, my Grama. She only gets visits from me, since my parents are too busy to go see her in the hospital. ¡°Sure would be nice to see her get out of that place.¡± I can¡¯t help but say quietly. As I see the hospital come into view. Someone bumps me from behind. ¡°Who¡¯s the asshole who...?!¡± I turn my head to see a kid go by on scooter. What a small little guy¡­ ''''Well I¡¯ll let it go this time.'''' looked like he¡¯s having a fun time. A block away from the hospital I see the kid again. Normally I wouldn''t think to much about it, but he¡¯s jumping up and down while moving too fast. And sure enough he hits a good size rock that really shouldn''t be there. While he tumbles onto the road, I see in the corner of my eye a shiny red car coming way too fast. Seeing the driver talking to the girl beside him, I notice he''s going to hit the kid. And before even thinking about it I jump and grab him, and have just enough time to throw him before it hits me. I can''t remember much at that point but I think I saw my legs down the street before I blacked out. Shit! today has really not been my day... ¡°¡­Hello? Hello there can you hear me? Don''t give up!¡±....who? Ah I¡¯m tired and can''t seem to see or respond. hmm I think he¡¯s still talking but I can''t tell what he¡¯s saying¡­ Feels like I''ve been in this darkness for hours or maybe days. I can''t seem to clear my head... ¡°I''m sorry his organs are beyond repair. And we are only keeping him alive right now buy pumping blood to his brain with our machines.¡± Said a sincere male voice Wait what is this guy saying...? ¡°On top of it all, we can''t seem to get any response from him¡± Hey I''m alive and I''m right here listening to this come¡¯on! You should be able to tell from my brain waves or something. Shit It¡¯s getting quiet again... Hmm I hear something going on now. ¡°Hello there! I don''t know if you can hear me but I''ve come here to tell you I''m sorry about your circumstance.¡± ¡®Well I¡¯m sorry to be like this too, but who are you to say sorry to me?¡¯ I cant help thinking. ¡°But we are going to be tiring a never before done, upload of a human brain to a computer, and with your parents permission we will be starting shortly...'''' Wait what?! ¡°I wish you good luck... and I''m sorry about this mess my son caused you.¡± Dammit it was your son who hit me! I''m barely even alive, and it''s your son who did this to me. And you''re sorry! Fucking asshole! Ah I can hear now. Sounds like something is being brought in or maybe I''m being moved I can''t tell. Well anyways, now I get to look forward to being a human guinea pig for some mind absorbing machine¡­ Wish they could have asked me about this. Would have just been nice to have died and not have to think about this¡­ For me to die heroically would have been the only way to repay my family for the way I lived. Wish I could have grown up as normal kid... As I was thinking along those lines I hear a noise, but it''s not a sound I would hear though my ears but it¡¯s my brain instead. Then the darkness is starting to turn into a flickering black and white. just like those lines you see on old TV''s. Followed by nothing, absolutely nothing. Would be the only way to describe it. After some time of that, black appears everywhere but I can define it because I¡¯m now a white light in it. A white ball of light! ¡°Are you there? Can you hear me?¡± A charming female voice appears! ¡°Hello?¡± I somehow managed to reply. Well I think it was me. I am a ball of light so it does not feel like talking in the way that I''m used to. ¡°Amazing its a success!¡± I hear her say and some smaller voices could be heard in the background. Not sure what they are saying though. They''re just some noise to me. ¡°So whats going on here, and who are you?¡± I ask. ¡°Ah sorry about that! First I''m Vicky Valentine, a head engineer and lead manager at NewWorld INC. And second, you have just become the first person in history to become a program, or a pile of complex data. I must say, just looking at some of the data that unscrambled itself is mind blowing. You truly are a lucky person.¡± ''''That''s a funny thing to say, cuz the way I see this is that I was hit by some car and used in an experiment, that I did not ask to be a part of!'''' I hope that makes them think about my side of all this. ¡°¡­¡± that seemed to quiet them down. ¡°Sorry we got a bit ahead of ourselves. But this was all done with your parents permission. And it was for the chance of still seeing and talking to you.¡± Vicky said in a calm and clear voice. ¡°Well I don''t want to talk to them. I''ve got nothing to say, so let me have that right!'''' I really don''t want to hear them. saying things like. Why did you jump in front of a car? Or the sort of nagging that they love to do. ¡°...Do you really mean that?¡± Vicky asked ¡°Yea and while we are on the subject. Since I''m a pile of data. Tell them I have nothing to do with them biologically anymore... But say sorry to my Grams, for dying first and all.¡± ¡°...Alright I¡¯ll let them know, but I don''t have the power to stop them from coming. We did tell them your data finally unscrambled itself.¡± She said with a somewhat pained voice. I¡¯m glad she''s not asking about my attitude. ¡°Wait unscrambled? Was something wrong with my mind... I mean data?¡± I changed the subject as quickly as I could. ¡°Quick to adapt I take it! Well yes since you are the first successful upload of the human mind it took some time for all of it to take shape... The system that did all this was build off of our brain up-link data from the dive helmets. For the most part we don''t even understand how it works.¡± Vicky said in a depressing tone ¡°First... You don''t even know how it worked? And secondly what is dive helmets and up-link data? Are you some form of government intelligence agency or something?'''' I say with a mix of anger and fear ¡°So you don''t know about dive helmets? They are the most important piece of equipment needed to play Beyond the World. The Only Game where you can live, feel and play in a world sized game. And NewWorld INC owns and operates all of this!¡± Vicky sounded almost almost frantic by the end of all that. ¡°Oh Beyond the world! There are posters of it all over town, and I often hear people talk about that. But I never really listened to all that stuff. I always worried they might be saying something that would set me off. Also I''ve never really played games. They are a social activity anyway.¡± I said without really thinking about it. ¡°What!?!¡± I hear so loudly it almost hurt, but since I don''t really feel pain from it won¡¯t let it bother me. ¡°First off I''ve never even met someone who has never played a game before! Games can also be played solo, all by your lonesome if that''s the type of person you are, but still... Never to have played before... what do you do with your free time?¡± ¡°I Seem to get to into fights almost every day. So I usually keep myself active or just find a quiet spot in the forest to sleep the day away. I only did home school, because of my uncanny ability to get into fights.¡± I say simply. ''''Wow... Well if we can get you into beyond the world, not only will you be able to experience the best game available, but also you should be able to feel, breath, taste, hear, and touch anything in it. That''s why you are really lucky! If your parents approve you could live in a game! The ultimate fantasy that anyone who plays games has!¡± Vicky said so in enthusiastically I felt pumped up instantly. ¡°Well if I can be able to move around freely, I''ll gladly try out the game! And I really don''t want to wait since I feel so strange in this darkness here.¡± Not waiting to hear they''re voices I add. ¡°But if you need their approval please hurry for my sake!¡± ...After this, someone went and called them. I the O.K. to go. I felt relieved that they did not press to meet me. Now all I had to do was wait for the team to get things set up. While that was happening there was always someone there to monitor me, and to talk with so I keep on asking about beyond the world, and anything related to it. Of course they did have some things which they could not talk about, but I still was able to learn a lot. Like the back story and main settings for different locations to even tips and tricks. And the day finally arrived for me to upload me to my new world. Chapter 2- the NPC with issues ¡°Alright lets get this show on the road! We''ve got a lot to do today and only have one shot!¡± I can hear Vicky shouting out orders to the crew. ¡°Can¡¯t wait to be able to move around again¡± I can''t help but say out loud. After all how would you like to be stuck as a ball of light? I for one am looking forward the freedom that Beyond the World has to offer. Not only will I be able to fight without need to have people telling me it''s against the law, but I can by far surpass what a human would normally be able to do. Based on what path I choose to pick I''d be able to tame animals, fight with magic, and even fly around the world! They said that there was no one who has found a way to fly yet, but there are ways I was assured. I cant help but think that they should not have said that, but oh well. One guy said that you don''t need classes, but they make your status change based off of your stats. For instance, having no job will not give stat multipliers, while 100¡®str¡¯ will turn into 120¡®str¡¯ as a warrior class, but there are differences between the types of warriors as well. However there are negative stats too. 100¡®int¡¯ will turn into 70¡®int¡¯ with that same class. There are more perks to jobs as well. Easier skill development and some special skills, that can only be obtained from special classes! That being said, a mage can learn sword based skills, but it won''t be as easy to develop compared to a class that uses or specializes in swords. I Really can''t wait to find a job that suits me... Can''t think of one from what they''ve been able to tell me, but ill figure it out. I can''t remember the last time I was this excited. ¡°Are you ready to become a part of the system?¡± Vicky asked. ¡°What do you mean become a part of it?¡± First time they said that to me. ¡°We are going to put you in as a special NPC program. So there should not be a problem with the integration¡± ¡°Alright lets get me uploaded then!¡± I couldn''t help, but feel inpatient ¡°All systems look good. I''ll be seeing you on the other side kiddo.¡± Vicky tells me. At this point the black area starts turning white. It became so bright that I felt pale compared to it. Followed by a few flashes of color. Then I find myself high, high up in the sky of the world that I¡¯ll soon be living in. Looking around me I find a curricular platform with what appears to be a young woman sitting in a chair. She should be one of the NPC''s that helps with character creation. I started to float towards her. She seemed busy looking at a floating screen in front of her. Cant seem to be able to read it, not sure if it''s because I¡¯m on this side or if only she can see what''s on there but whatever. ¡°Hey there shall we get started.¡± I call out. Only she seems to jump at my voice. ¡°Who''s there?!... A ball of light? Or maybe a orb... Na I don''t know of any talking orb monsters... Wait how did a monster get here?¡± It seems she does not know about me... Well I guess no one would think to tell her since she''s just an NPC. ¡°Alright I''m here to get my new body so I can live in this world. So could you hurry up already?¡± What''s with that blank look she''s giving me?... ¡°I said I''m here for a body.¡± I repeat ¡°Oh um OK... lets see ill just open up my service panel... hmm your headgear id is not showing? Are you a hacker? Also you don''t really have I body for me to edit.¡± She says while narrowing her eyes at me. ¡°Hey I was sent here to live as a special NPC if you have any problems, talk to the higher ups. Anyways I''ve been waiting for too long already so lets get on with making this new body already!¡± I really don''t want to be dealing with this. ¡°Why would they send me a special NPC... The data that I get from you is weird. Well if you are a hacker you will be getting kicked out shortly.¡± She looked proud while saying that. ¡°Hey I''m no hacker Bitch, now do your job!¡± My patience was never long. Her face twitched at that comment. Followed by her face looking down for a few moments then looking up with a refreshing smile. Good, looks like she''s got it now. ¡°You know should know that it is our job to ensure that players enjoy their experience here in the world, and a lot of people really like to give me that attitude... I can take that, it''s a part of my job here... But a NPC giving me attitude? Why should I deal with this.¡± Her words don''t match that smile on her face. ¡°...Its your JOB!!!¡± I growl at her. If she was a guy I would have sent her flying, assuming I could even touch anything as I am. However she just smiles at me... Then her face distorts to a wicked smile. she looks like pure evil. ¡°You don''t work with normal protocol... So what should I do with you I wonder? Oh I know! Earthlings are only able to play as humans to help adjust to their new bodies, also for sanity reasons... But you don''t even have a human body so... there should be no problem turning you into a monster.¡± Strangely as she says that, I imagine becoming a colossal dragon, flying across the sky... Also with my anger issues, I really would have trouble dealing with people again. ¡°Something that shows power that would scare people away, A being of power and pride... But no, that sounds stupid.¡± I say sarcastically ¡°I want to be a male 5''8'''' tall, white with a bit of tan and lets go with Green eyes and... dark Blue hair, because I can.¡± I just want to get this started so I threw out some basic details. ¡°Not happening.¡± She says. ¡°I''ve made my choice. For your arrogant un-cute attitude, I shall bestow upon you a form that will make you regret talking back to be.¡± She says with her evil smile. ¡°Oh and since you seem to be a beginner, you should be near a starter town. Windy Plains Crust town should do, after all there are lots of those little guys there.¡± After hearing her say that, I give up on my holding back and start charging at her. ¡°And you said blue hair right. Done, easy peasy! Have a great time in Beyond the world!¡± Just before I get to her, she pushes a button and I start falling through the platform. Now I¡¯m heading at an angle towards the world. Flying at high speeds way beyond what a human should be able to fall at. This is a scary experience. I see the blur of a small town in the corner of my view just before I fly into the ground. Everything returned to black. Only I feel something and I can''t tell what''s what, but I am feeling a bit of heat, and cold. I¡¯m on the ground, and what I think is a wet towel rubbing my face. Then it seems to wipe down my body and something doesn''t feel right... Can''t tell what it is now though. But after what seems like a few hours I manage to opening my eyes. And what I see is the shadow of what appears to be a giant rabbit. Id say two stories high. The shadow also has a large straight horn on its head. After looking around a bit more, I notice that the light in here is dim and that there are large rocks around me. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. After that the shadow moves around and more light gets in. Now I can tell what''s going on. I see that I''m under ground and around me are smaller rabbits that don''t have a horn¡¯s. Well I can see little bumps in the middle of their heads but yea. The end of the tunnel seems to have a few roots and grass popping through around what I can see. And that large rabbit is now view-able. Its light brown and has some white fur on its stomach and paws. Its horn is a darker brown and it has brown beady eyes. The other little rabbits are the same color as that one. ¡®Well fuck...She made me a rabbit.¡¯ I thought. Since these little guys look to be about the same size as I feel, it became obvious what that NPC did to me. ¡®If I can find a way... I''ll get her later!¡¯ I think to myself. As I start falling asleep. While in dreamland, something seems to be kicking on my face. Opening my eyes I see that the tunnel has gotten a lot smaller and that my fellow rabbit babies, seem to have grown up to full size with our horns showing very nicely. Many of the rabbit seem to be heading outside. Probably to get something to eat. I feel quite hungry myself. So I start heading out of the tunnel and into that blinding light. What I see at the end of the tunnel was a field for grass, surrounded by small groups of trees here and there. And a few hills in all directions. Also what looks like a windmill spinning in the far distance. "Who''s in charge here?!" I spoke out to see if I could communicate. But even though I''m the one who spoke it sounded like a few little chirps and a screech, and only get a few bewildered looks from them ''So i can''t talk with them, perfect...'' I can¡¯t help signing to myself. While all the rabbits around leave to go feast on the large amounts of grass around I look for a spot to grab some grass myself. First I gotta kill the craving then think on what to do. When I find a spot and get a few mouthfuls I notice the above my white little paws is a dark blue colored fur¡­ ¡®Did she do this to humor me?¡¯ I can''t help but feel pissed off at this point. With some food in my belly and a good idea on what''s going on, I can now start thinking on my situation... Only it seems a bit hard to think deeply. Just thinking about my situation seems to give me the same pain that I get from studies. ¡®Just thinking a bit... Gives me school pain?! Why?¡¯ I can''t help thinking to myself. After a while I remember being told that putting points into intelligence could help you think faster, so thinking about it my int stat must be rock bottom if I feel so stupid. I am a rabbit so it makes a bit of sense. I''m a unique NPC in this world so it might be a bit more important for me. ¡®Great... well maybe that just means I need to stretch my mind and give it a workout of raise my base stats.¡¯ Performing difficult actions can build base stats as well as using points from leveling up. thought the higher the stat the more impossible it is to upgrade it. Even if its the stat is low, it will still take time. ¡®What are my stats anyways?''¡¯ thinking that I try thinking and calling out in my rabbit screech ¡®Status menu!¡¯... But nothing pops up. ¡®What? There should be a pop up screen in front of me. Why?...wait, Is it because I''m a monster?¡¯ Hmm --------------------------------- While I ponder on the subject for a while a shadow starts moving in one of the groups of trees. After scanning the field it choose its prey, a brown rabbit that has its back turned on it. Then it readies itself and starts charging out of the shadowy area. A fox charges at one of the rabbits. some other rabbits see the fox charging and start screaming while running to the nearest tunnel. However the one rabbit is to slow because of not seeing the fox and gets bitten down on by it. By instinct I felt like running but instead, I just stood there watching all this take place. Then a thought struck me. ¡®If I kill that I might level up! With that rabbit in its mouth how will it kill me?¡¯ If you saw this blue rabbit, you would swear it has a smile on its face. That fox with its prey in mouth starts turning to leave the area thinking it got some easy food. But instead is a sharp pain shoots through it. Looking to it''s side it see''s a rabbit pierced its rib cage with the horn on its head. Pulling out of the fox, I jumps down to the ground and once again jump towards the fox, horn first of course. This time it hits the leg and exits the other side of it. The fox did drop it''s prey and tried to avoid the hit but failed at the dodging part. After pulling away from me, the fox readies itself for battle. ¡®Okay I got two clean hits in, and it seems to be limping. It should at charge me and bite, but I¡¯ll meet it with my horn.¡¯ I reassure myself. Fully in stance ready to take whatever this fox will give. The fox does just as expedited and lunges at it''s new nemesis. Only the with a quick dash and a jump, I hit the fox right it its neck. The fox falls forward with the myself underneath and hits the ground hard. Then the fox turns slightly grayish and no longer moves. ¡®Wow that felt different from my old fights... Is it because it''s more of a life and death type battle?¡¯ not putting in anymore thought to it, I pull himself out from underneath the fox. And takes a good look at the corpse. ¡®Can I do anything with this? Maybe I should just eat it. I am a wild animal after all.¡¯ As those lines ran through my head a sudden surge of strength rushed from this body. ¡®Holy hell! That feels good. Did i level up?¡¯ After thinking I leveled up I tried seeing if my body felt different. After a bit, I notice that I am slightly faster. ¡®Hmm I was expecting more, oh well it''s a start.¡¯ By now some of the rabbits have come out to see the dead fox, and see me dancing around with some blood in my fur. Then they start making cries of joy, I think. ¡®What are they screeching about? I''ll eat this guy before they take my share of it.¡¯ I quickly jump on top of it and take a bite. After biting though some fur and ripping it away I tried taking a few mouthfuls of its flesh. The other rabbits just seemed watch silently. It did not take long for me to find out why. I ended with intense stomach pain shortly after. ¡®Dammit I wondered why they just stood there watching me with their mouths open. We can''t handle meat...¡¯ After trying to lay down for a few minutes, I did not feel any better. So I chose to go looking for some water. After following along the field for a few minutes I spots some weeds with deep blue veins on them. ¡®Can''t handle the pain any longer...¡¯after a though I tried to eat it. ¡®Oh pains still there but I feel a bit better!¡¯ Now I should continue to search for water. Chapter 3-cruel reality and the kind girl? The pain is still there and I can almost feel it sapping away my strength. So I''ll keep my eyes open for those blue veined plants. While doing so I spots a few others that look similar. One has rich green veins and another has a stem with something like a dandelion on top but only it''s an eerie yellow green color. The first one did nothing for me and as for the second one. When I got close, my body froze and backed away from it on its own. I''ll take that as built in instinct, which I am happy to have in this new world. Wonder why I only felt this after I ate that meat and not before? Oh well I should get some water. I feel quite thirsty and I hope it will help with the stomach ache. Moving along the way I see a few fox''s off to the side here and there, all of them are past the tree''s. But I pay no mind to them for the most part. Unless I feel that their too close to me. Well if they do get in my way I''ll just shank them to death with my almighty horn of death! Unless I''m out numbered then I¡¯ll try to run, but I don''t think I''ll need to worry about that. Looking around, I realized water flows downwards and downwards is towards the bulk of trees. Which is a good sign for water. ''Damn low ¡®int¡¯ must have stopped me from thinking about that Earlier!'' That''s what I tolled myself anyway. I start tiptoeing into the mass of tree''s on full alert. Luckily nothing really seems around. In fact it felt a little too quiet. After making my way though I see why. Corpses of Grey animals are lying around. Fox''s, a few rabbits and a couple of snakes. Snakes..... I never liked them before when I was human, but now I''m just a small rabbit... Wait now''s not the time to think like that I gotta avoid what ever killed them. But the only thing I notice around are footprints, human foot prints... Not good I''m a weak rabbit and on top of it I look different from the others I''ve around seen here. That''s like saying ¡°Rare monster come hunt me down!¡­¡± Damn, now I hate that NPC even more for making me like this. If I could communicate it would be different but even other rabbits don''t understand my screeches. ''Gotta be real careful now!'' As I slowly and quietly as possible I keep on moving. After a while the sound of running water could be heard. By now it was getting tough to move. While looking around I found a patch of weeds or I guess I should call them herbs now, underneath a tree. I eat away and after getting through 3 of them, I feel perfectly fine even the pain seems gone now, that I think about it. But I''m parched so I head to the steam and check my surroundings. ''All good! lets do this.'' I quickly run to the water and start chugging back as much as my stomach could handle. Then I made my way to a bush and dive into it, as I could hear the sounds of footsteps coming through the forest. Three humans appear and walk to the steam. Seems they''re also here for some water as they pull out leather sack''s to fill. As I watched them I could hear them talk. ¡°********** **** **** *****¡±.....¡®Eh I can''t understand them? I know a couple of languages yet it sounds so jumbled! Whatever I¡¯ll just make sure they don''t notice me and that will be that.'' They left not long after, much to my relief. ''Okay guess I''ll head on back to the rabbit den from before''. So I went on my way back towards the rabbit field. On the way I found a fox resting by a tree. So I chose to sneak up on it and kill it. After getting right beside it I lunged my horn into the back of its neck. In the end it survived and sprang up with me still in or now on it. It ran around for a bit and I was stuck on it because my back two legs barely touched its back is I was being swung around. But maybe because of that it died after a minute, a long ass minute. And once again I felt a bit more powerful after that. ''Damn my neck and head hurt... Now I feel for ya Foxie but this is a world of strength and you to are weak''. Now that''s over with, I head on back towards the rabbit field. Upon arrival I saw something horrifying. Two humans with only simple cloths and a daggers were killing my brethren. They seemed to have placed piles of burning bushes into some of the tunnels to smoke them out. And when they were out in the open they were easy prey. Some of the rabbits tried to charge them only to be dodged or to have their horn grabbed. With one hand holding onto their horn and the other hand stabbing into them over and over, I felt a bit of shock and sickness. Not because they were my brothers and sisters, but because of how bloody it was coupled with the smiling faces of the adventurers. How simple it is to kill is one thing, but how calm they looked while doing it was different. ''I''ve fought a lot but never for pleasure like I''m seeing here, and it''s all this gore is an eye opener for how cruel this world is for the weak''. Never once did I do anything more then break a few limbs, and that was because of how many times that guy attacked me. Watching this scene made me create a larger desire to survive then I have ever felt before. After all I''m just way too weak... ''For now avoid populated areas and get stronger. I never want to feel this weak ever again''. I reinforce inside my mind. Then quickly make my way away from here. Away from that windmill and from humans! Humans kill for more than just food here. ''Well I''m the same in that sense, now that I gotta get stronger quickly''. After heading what appeared to be south based on the sun''s movement. The environment changed to larger hills and as I was moved further south the ground was sloping down a bit. ''I might be higher above the sea line then I though. As the hills that looked the same size were growing in realty. Trees clusters seemed to become small and large forests. Avoiding those while traveling along the hill side was tiring. After traveling a for a few days and sleeping in small holes "dug by me" at night, I was now in more of a mountainous forest area. ¡®I''ve got a lot faster compared to the start almost twice as fast. My mind is keeping up with my thoughts too. Other than that though, I don''t feel and stronger¡¯. Now slightly faster than the fox''s I''ve faced, and smaller than them as well. I can now avoid most things in this forest. After being dragged around for a few minutes, I feel that I''m not out in the open anymore. The sound of being pulled along and short footsteps are echoing, so I must be in some sort of cave. Oh I can open my eyes... Yep a dark cave and I can see the short bottom half of my attacker too. Small Green legs with large feet. Looks like he has a rag covering his or her important area. ¡®Seems all I can do is wait to die again. I can''t fight back even if I could move¡­ This is how all those other rabbits died. They move in between me and the exit and start laughing looking at me like I''m just a joke. ¡®If I come back to life I''ll give you the worst death I can give to you I swear!¡¯ The anger makes no difference to my position though. However as I was staring at my killers I saw two large shapes appear behind them. Quickly followed by a series of smacks with a wooden club, and a short sword cutting off one of their heads. ¡®Well at least I got to see the green pieces of shit die.¡¯ Too bad I can''t make out who killed them. I can barely see, and I''m cold at this point. But what happens next caught me by surprise. One of them comes close, but does not finish me off. Instead they pull out something in a bottle and pours it on my wound. Then they poured the rest of it down my throat, rather forcefully, but it brings a heat back into my body. The heat was like streams going through every fiber in my body. With a quick jolt I had my strength back. Looking up again I see a teenage girl medium length hair with a soft gentle look to her. However my instinct kicked in and I quickly got back on my feet and made some distance. Taking a good look I saw she was wearing the same cheap pants that the other one¡¯s had on before, but had a brown and white cloth top and a pair of cheap looking boots instead of those shoes. She also had that wooden club at her side. Then the other one was a male about the same age with a bowl cut hairstyle. He looks like someone you could pick on( Not that I would waste my time on those guys), and gave the impression of being annoyed and concerned. Short sword pointed at me he seems to have a full leather set of gear. Perhaps he''s helping her level up or something. He seems a bit stronger but that''s just from my gut feeling. Based off how this looks, I think the girl used an item on me without thinking, and he does not look happy about it. He seems to be telling her something, and she talking back looking angry. Well I''ve survived those green guys, and I''ve meet at least one human I don''t think I should fear. Looking at her she gives off soft and gentle sort of vibe. I would gladly beat the snot out of anyone who bothered her. With that type of violence people would not think so badly about it. That''s how I always thought of it anyway. Anyway they seem done talking and are looking at me. ¡®Gonna attack me? Gonna let me go? Take your pick.¡¯ After a short silence they seem to be leaving the girl seems kind of sad. I don''t like that face she''s making, too sad for a innocent little girl. Anyways they are on they''re way out now. So should I do? Follow them till I''m out of here... sounds dangerous with the looks that boy was giving me. I understand safety first, I''d to the same. Beasts be crazy in this world. Hmm wait what if I can make friends with the girl though. I do feel like I could help protect her and I can''t do a lot by myself. I''ll try following them anyways. Also there could be more of those green guys around. I don''t want to die again. So I start chasing after them. I catch up quickly while keeping my distance. Turns out there are a few tunnels connecting in here. Seeing this makes me glad I started following them, because there already been a few encounters with the green guys. But after a bit of walking I think we are heading deeper into the mountain. As we should have gotten out base on how much we''ve walked. After walking a bit longer they hit a dead end, and before I can hide I''m spotted by them. Surprised to see me, the boy jumps in front of the girl. Well at least he''s doing his job right. However he seems even more startled by the fact that I''m just staring at him not doing anything. The girl however has a face that is happy but confused. After a while of talking they slowly walk around me... I''m a horned rabbit I don''t know what''s so scary about me. Anyways I follow them further but this time in plain view. Until I get out of here I can''t leave their protection. We end up getting into a large room, far more open than anything else in this cave. Looking forward I see about ten or so greenies as well as a brown one that has some leather armor and a stone helm on his head... ''its way too big for his head''. All of them have some sort of weapon with them. It does not take to long for the two sides to start fighting. I''m learning how hard it is even for armed humans to take on this many midgets. A good show but they seem to be getting overwhelmed by numbers. After a minute or so another green one appears. They are killing them faster than that though but they seem to be getting tired. While the boy is dealing with four of the remaining seven with the brown guy included, and the girl is having a bit more trouble with the rest. While I may be weak compared to them but that girl is like the ideal human to befriend. I cant help but want to join in... I''d die though. But I ended up losing to reason when they landed a couple of blows on her back sending her to the ground, her face had a hint of pain made my anger skyrocket and I charged into the side of the one was about to hit her. This caught them off by surprise and gave her time to get up and finish him. With that there were two left to kill and with a smile on that girls face I felt like dying would not be so bad here. But in the end I charged valiantly beside her. That club killed them easily, far more so then I would have guessed. Her damage is many times what I could do. What happened after that was simple we charged to help the boy, much to his surprise and quickly finished them off. Now that that''s over they grab the drops by walking up to them touching them and dealing with the screens that popped up... how lazy. But then I got a surprise hug from the girl and the boy went and pet my head. I wanna bite him for that but I''ll let it go. After all I feel a lot stronger from all that fighting so I''m in a forgiving mood. They said something to me but I have no idea, probably thanking me. Now we start heading out of the cave. When the light from the sunset hit my face I felt like all the tension release that my body seemed to have gotten without me noticing. With me lying in the grass seeing the two talk then with each other. Made me realize that I did miss being around people. Never would I have joked about wanting to be by people before but now... At this point they give a sad expression and a wave goodbye then they start walking off. I pause for a few moments then quickly make my choice run after them. After catching up to them I don''t stop but instead rammed into the leg of the girl, not with my horn though. Even I was surprised by that action. As she wobbled to get her balance she looked stupefied. I start jumping up and down in front of her and then there was a short silence. Not sure what to do at this point I screeched as best as I could hoping to convey these words! ¡®Let me come with you and ill protect you!¡¯ My own thoughts felt messed up but whatever. But then a screen popped up if front of her. Her face showed shock and happiness. while the guy then checked what was on it, and looked at me in bewilderment. After exchanging glances the girl quickly touched the screen.

¡®Wait....What?!?!¡¯ Chapter 4- a new perspective & the goddess Hera (( Second point of view!!! ))) ¡°Hello my new name is Amelia. Pleasure to remake your acquaintance! hmm?¡± Looking above this familiar face, I see the name Rexusmalata. ¡°Rex.... what''s with that name?¡± I ask with my a bit of worry. ¡°Oh yea, I couldn''t get any of names I wanted¡­ So I keep on trying for half an hour. Then I just ended up putting Malata after Rexus which was my first choice. Its hard to get any good names anymore. This game has been out for 2 years now.¡± Is the answer I get. I feel a little spoiled getting this name. It was my second choice and from what that NPC told me, the name was taken but the account got banned for undisclosed issues. I hope no one comes looking for that person who I took this name from... ¡°Alright you wanted a mage class build style right? So here¡± Rex I mean Rexus opens up his menu and starts up a trade. ¡°Whats this?¡± I ask. ¡°Not much just a starter robe and Dirty boots along with a wooden club¡± he answers. ¡°Ehhhh! Dirty boots... why would I want those?¡± ¡°With your starting stats this is the best I could come up with. That is close to what you want. Anyway the stats will be a huge boost to you just started. The club will upgrade your 1-3 damage to 4-7. And even if you find a good Mage Trainer around here, you should still put a few points into your str to increase your damage. Your mp will be too small to help in our battles.¡± ¡°Alright if you say so. By The way, what class have you got? You never told me at school.¡± I ask while I equip my new gear. ¡°Well I want something more powerful then just as simple warrior so I''m trying to find a hidden or unique class. It will take awhile but there really is no downside to staying as a World Traveler class. But there is no real strength to it either.¡± He says that with confidence, but he should only be level 14. his knowledge is still deeper than mine though, so I''ll just use his knowledge as a base for growth. After being shown around town and having simple explanations about the shops and the perks to having good relations with the townspeople, we went to out of the town and around here the starting mobs are Brown Chipmunks, Mountain Coyotes and Lazy Raccoon''s which move in packs. Rexus showed me basic combat and then let me go at them, until I had no issues with even those raccoon packs. After that that we went looking for stronger mobs so I could get some fast levels. What we found was a cave that looked poorly dug out. Rather than fearing what''s inside of it, I was worried about it collapsing. After entering we saw a Green Goblin and killed it instantly. My attack just can''t compare to Rexus damage. After going deeper in we reached a fork in the path. Unsure of which path to take, we paused until we heard some goblins laughing on our left. They sounded like they were having fun so Rexus thought that we should put a stop to that... and that''s how we meet that ''[unique]Horned Rabbit'' being bullied by them. After quickly ending their sorry lives I jumped to help the poor little guy. Pulling out one of my few potions, I used it without thought. I got scolded by Rexus for saving an animal that might attack us. But it did not attack. It just stood there with a somewhat dumbfounded stare. Rexus wanted to kill it but I was against it. So we left it. After going deeper into the cave killing a few goblins we hit another dead end. But when we turned around we saw that blue rabbit again. I was a bit happy but it spooked Rexus. It was weird how it just stood there staring at us. It was different from how the other mobs acted. I asked Rexus if he thought it wanted to come join us, but I was told only Tamers, Beast masters or people who learn the tame skill though other means could get a beast to join them. So we awkwardly walked along the edge of the tunnel and continued on. But now we saw it following us keeping a distance just staring... Its weird feeling being watch like that, even if it''s by a cute animal. Still it did nothing as we worked through all the Green Goblins so we tried not to pay attention to it. Then we got to the boss area. From what I was told it can take days, weeks, or even months in game for bosses to re-spawn but here it was, the [boss]Mine Goblin. It just looked like a brown version but named mobs have much higher stats. Anyways with how easy it''s been so far we simply nod our heads and went in for the attack. However it did not turn out well. Those goblins although weak by themselves, are much craftier than they let on. When one is close to death it backs away and it''s still hard to kill it since they are well coordinated. Attacking as a team and in inter-vaults put a lot of pressure on us. In the end they even separated the two of us. Rexus had his hands comply full dealing with the bulk of them and I was barely surviving against three of them. In the end I got hit from behind and knocked down. Thinking I was finished at that point I was saved not by Rexus but by that Rabbit. It came out of nowhere and stabbed one of the goblins. With the focus on It, I was able to quickly charge that weakened goblin and use my last potion to restore my health. Then with the combined force of us and that rabbit we managed to turn the tides. It seemed to do little damage, but just having it detract them made a large difference. After getting our loot and making our way out of there, we found our new friend quickly went to go rest in the grass. ¡°He really saved us there.¡± I said ¡° Yea don''t really understand It though... never heard of an beast doing that.¡± He said honestly. ¡°Well this just proves that there is still so much BOTH of us can learn¡± I say with a smile. ¡°OK OK I''m sorry for saying I knew a lot about this world... But I did spend a few weeks researching on this game before even starting. So I do have a good set of knowledge.¡± He replied. ¡°Well we should at least say thanks to him¡± ¡°Yea¡± and so we both said our thanks and waved good bye. ¡°let''s head back we got a lot of loot to sell. I then quickly pressed the yes button and looked at my new partner! A screen appear in front of it, and the rabbit just looked straight at it. Even after the pop up disappeared he just looked forward without moving. ¡°Pleasure to be working with you I said!¡± Hoping to see it jump around like before. But it just stood there not moving. ¡°Um hello¡± I say aloud. Still it motionless. Then it started to shiver, then shake. After half a minute of that it screamed louder and with a bit of noticeable anger. And I felt like his words were true as well. Walking towards the seemingly crazed rabbit I lean down and put out my hand. ¡°Are you OK?¡± I say. Only to set an alarm off with the rabbit, it turned around at me and gets into its battle stance. Its eyes filled with rage. In response I fell back in fear and even started to get teary eyed. After looking at me for a few seconds it stopped. Sat up and started to breath heavily... controlled breathing? ¡®It showing signs of a having anger issues!¡¯ After a couple of breaths it looked down then back up at me. I''ll still keep myself moving forward regardless.¡¯ With a few easy battles on the way, I found that we were now on a dirt road. Shortly after that a town came into sight. ¡®Those two look tired. Well even I am.¡¯ I think to myself. We entered and the first thing I saw are houses lined up. A few of them seem to have livestock in their yards. But we just pass on though and to get to the plaza. The sides are stalls most of them seem to be closing up for the night now. There is also a church, bar(based on the smell and noise), and I believe an inn. But it''s the statue that is in the center that is the most eye checking. Stolen story; please report. ¡®I wonder if that''s a statue of... What was it, the goddess Hera?... I was told this is where you would first start off in game. Also this is the first place you should go to when you get to a new town. Attuning yourself to these is how you choose your re-spawn location.¡¯ Those two seem to be heading to some of the stalls. Maybe to sell their junk items. ¡®I''ll go check out that statue then.¡¯ Hopping onto the ledge around it I notice that it is on top of a water fountain. It even has water coming out of the base that the statue sits on. ¡®With all these old middle earth style houses they still manage to make something like this... they should spend their time making those houses stronger looking.¡¯ Anyways, checking out the goddess statue I find... nothing. Now the Priest is also in a battle stance, staring me off. There were soldiers and watchmen around but they did not know how to act right now. He starts to chant something and a white ball of fire arrears in his hands. At this point Amelia jumps down and Covers me. I try to break free, cause he still seems to want to fire that ball off. I don''t want Amelia to get hurt but I can''t even break free from her arms. Then he fires it off. What happens next only takes a second. The ball is heading towards us and is about to hit. But a golden shield appears in front of us and the ball is repelled right back towards the Priest. He''s sent flying and hits the ground hard. He quickly looks at us in disbelief. And just as quickly turns his head towards the statue. I manage to twist myself free from Amelia''s arm''s to see a golden goddess floating above it. Then make a dash to get away from the mob. After making it to the wall that surrounds the city, I followed along until I found a tree was close to it. then with my back to the wall i started digging and made a temporary home under the tree. And those are my skills¡­ I should really work on getting more. ¡®Okay if what I was told is true. Then repeating some actions can give you a skill based on it. It just needs to make sense.¡¯ I chose to spend the rest of the morning wandering around town. Since the incident last night everyone in town knows about me. walking though I got greeted and even offered some food. Not that I took any of it, I just nodded and walked off casually. some of the players took notice of me In town and got alert. Until they were told about me. Then many of them tried to bug me because I was cute, or they wanted to get a quest from me¡­ I can''t even talk dammit. Why would I give them anything anyways. I felt pressured so I tried running but was constantly stopped before I could get away. But after awhile of being harassed, a few NPC¡¯s came to save me. I found a quiet corner to hide in and listened in on their conversations. The way they talk makes them seem so real. The only way I can tell that they are different is that a name is above of their heads now. Their names are in light blue and the players are in green. Some names don''t show, but instead and they just have a circle instead. ¡®I should find out how to do that.¡¯ After getting away, I opened up the options. There were a few things in it. Don''t show name was the first one and I turned it on. Not that I want to hide it so much, as it stands out more. I like the circle. I don''t want to get attacked because they forget to check out the color on my name or anything. Next there were a few options on message blocking, changing your current statuses that show up in the friends list. from online too busy, and sleeping and such. That seemed to be everything. This page is large and empty mostly. Guess they forgot to make it to size after they took away most of the options. After thinking about it I check to see if Amelia is online so we could hunt. but it had (sleeping) written beside her name. With Amelia being asleep I¡¯ll try to focus on getting a skill. But what should I focus on? With this body of mine, there is a lot I can''t do. After wielding a sword for some time. sword mastery would appear. and after training and experimenting with it you may by luck learn a active skill... or you can get the skills from trainers and skill books. But what can i do? I can''t use weapons or tools... The skills I have are passive for the most part. I got them through actions¡­ So I guess I should try getting more of these. After thinking about it for an hour, not a single idea felt like it would work. ¡®I''m just too limited with this small body. I¡¯ll just focus on leveling up so I can evolve. It seems to be the best choice.¡¯ And with that, I checked to see if Amelia was still (asleep), which she was showing as (online) now. With that I left to go meet up with her. Now going towards the inn and keeping an eye out for her as well as that bowl cut kid. I noticed that a few people were appearing from glowing rings that went up and down. That seems to be players logging in. Seeing that I get the feeling that it''s real magic¡­ My first look at something I would have never thought existed before, but this is my new world¡­ Continuing on I found those two by a stall that was set up towards the town exit. ¡°Kiiiiieee!¡± I let out when I¡¯m next to them. ¡°Ahh I was wondering when I would see you again!¡± Amelia says as she crouches down and picks me up. To that, my immediate thought was ¡®Oyee! put me down!¡¯ and started to flail around abit. She seemed to ignore my reaction and pulled me to her stomach and had one arm supporting my back legs while the other held my front up. In the end my fate was sealed; however, I had a nice view and could see what was on the stall. But I don''t like that I''m being handled like this and worse is that I can''t seem to break free. I hate feeling so weak. For the next ten minutes or so I''m completely at their will, as they do some shopping and talk about how resting in this world felt so refreshing despite having poor beds at the inn. ¡®It''s weird that your body is resting while in game but it''s weirder that you want to sleep while playing¡­ or is it for mental rest? Amelia says aloud. ''That will never will affect me. So i shouldn''t think too much about it.¡¯ I remind myself. By time I''m released from that girl. I remember why I went to go look for them. and call out(in rabbit) ¡°Invite to group Amelia and Rexu¡­ holy cow what a name¡­ I mean, invite Rexusmalata.¡± what a mouthful. I feel that they are making me out to be a stupid animal(with a bit of an anger issue). So I went and nodded my head to the question. They seemed a bit surprised that I seemed reply to them. And they talked about spending a 20 minutes or so in game. After hearing that I felt like my time was wasted. Since I was ready to go and level, I left before they logged out and headed towards the city gate hungry for exp. Chapter 6- Testing & Travel Standing outside of the town gate, I paused to get a feel for the area. The town is built on a hill they flattened, so it''s has a nice view range. Even I can see the clearing which they cut the tree line to. Here is a wide man made grass land surrounded by forest and mountains. The monsters that I can see are Brown Chipmunks and a few Mountain Coyotes. They Have light red names above their heads to indicate that they are open game. Which works fine. ¡®Looks like easy prey. they will be good to practice on.¡¯ Looking at the Chipmunks that are the same size as me.They should make for fast and sporadic targets. ¡®There pelts might make for some small change.¡¯ They Were not as fast as I am, but they have good Strafing movements which proved to be a pain for me. One even threw rocks at me as I charged past it. ¡®No one gets away from my horn of justice!¡¯ After fighting with three of them I was somewhat low on HP and had to find a spot to rest in. Now that I have Hera¡¯s blessing I can see my health and energy level to my top left. Stamina is also there but shows as a % instead of a bar with numbers. It''s a bit weird to have this tell me how healthy I am, but it''s a tool to use so I''m glad to have it. After resting I fought a few more Chipmunks till their movements were no problem. Then I went to fight the Coyotes, and they are no different from the Fox''s really. ¡®Feel my wrath, you grey doggies!¡¯ There are a few players watching my sad fighting style, but I''m used to ignoring people so they are no different from air to me. The entire day went by and I gained a few levels. Then returned to my hole under the tree. Thinking on how I improved on my fighting style. I felt somewhat satisfied. ¡®Without having to worry about death this is a lot easier.¡¯ Then I quickly fell asleep. The next day I found that their were Raccoon''s hiding in the trees near the edge of the field. After a Quick sneak attack i got in, one was killed and was able to injure another one, but was surrounded and had to make a break for it. Being outnumbered as a horned rabbit is far scarier then I would have though. perhaps it''s instinct. When I was fighting as a human it was easy to make use of the surroundings or just pummeled them but this form only seems to hinder me. After thinking about it, speed was my best weapon, so I chose to use it with hit and run tactics (after resting of course). This worked out well for me, and with this I seemed to be picking up more exp then compared to the Chipmunk or Coyote. Anything I killed was looted for future use, or till Amelia comes back so she can sell these. I don''t trust anyone else for some reason. ¡®Come to think of it, I can''t remember the last female friend I had¡­ I don''t think I ever had one really.¡¯ It''s a sad truth, but I only ever got looks of disdain from them, or even a bit of fear and disgust. Being a rabbit seems to cover whatever I was missing. This day went the same as the Previous one did: kill, loot, feed and attempt new tricks. Also a few people just watched me battle and I heard one of them saying something about uploading a video¡­ Anyway I went to bed and looked at my stats before returning to dream land.

Then next day I went back to the grind, and it only took about an hour or so for me to get a small pop up saying Amelia logged in. So I went to go check out the last location where she was. Seems they were heading out because I meet them at the gate. ¡°Hey Little guy, how''s it going?¡± bowl head asked. followed by Amelia picking me up and hugging me. ¡®Errr this feels a bit wrong.¡¯ I think I''m never going to get used to being handled like this. ¡°I missed you little guy.¡± After being told how hard their day was, I felt the urge to swat them but I left it. I quickly tried to invite them but got the message they were already in a party. But after seeing that they invited me, and I was ready to go get some real exp. Turned out that a classmate is a few towns away, and that they wanted to meet up with him. So I tagged along for the journey. We left right away, and followed the road. Killing was far more efficient now, but there were less monsters on the road. Goblins, Snakes, Raccoon''s and Coyotes were the monsters we encountered. For me they were a lot better exp but for those too it was slower, no doubt do to the three man group. Turns out that if I was a pet only a Quarter of my owners exp would be fed to me. Also it seems that the experience points need to level a human is by far more than what it takes for me, but that makes sense since I''m a weak monster. It took almost the entire day to get to the next town, and it looked a lot smaller than the last one. It did not take to long for me to be spotted by some people and I got rushed because of my cuteness. This time I had no patience, and kicked a all too touchy kid. He fell on his ass, and my point was put across. Although; I almost ended up dead, from when a old man saw that; however, I had two people to stop him and apologize. Not that I feel bad about it. How would you like to have a someone rub you so hard it hurt. Anyway I got a popup about a kick skill. So it felt l completely worth it. After resting the night we sold what we were carrying including my loot. Amelia was surprised about the trade screen with me on the other end but she understood it. But she''s been looking at me funny since I wanted the money from the sold loot. ¡®Hey even I want to buy something at some point¡­ Don¡¯t know when though.¡¯ We stayed at an inn for the night. ¡®Oya don''t use me as a hugging pillow.¡¯ Amelia had me sleep at the foot of her bed but somehow I ended up in her vice grip. ¡®It''s a good thing I get along with you¡­ otherwise I''d bite some flesh off.¡¯ We left shortly after. From what these two are saying the next town is the centre point for a few off the grid towns. thus it has good trade, and is far larger than the two from before. It''s called ¡®Whitemere¡¯ and has the Adventurers guild as well as a dedicated training centre. Both seem to be important. I''m glad Amelia is also a Noob so I can learn these things. Well I do know abit about the training halls, but a guild is far more impressive and the it is the easiest way to pick up quests. After all, for a NPC to normally give you quests, they would have to trust you a fair bit, but since most players move from place to place, it''s simpler to just go to the guild. It seems these two plan to play for four days in game. 24 hours on earth. That''s definitely not good for their health, but even if I could tell them to smarten up, it''s not my business. By the time It was dark we saw Whitemere in the distance, all lit up and huge. The walls are about 5 stories high and there are even taller buildings peeking over it. compared to modern houses that not to tall, but with the style and building techniques that this world has, this is impressive. The two towns before only had a few two story buildings. ¡°Whoa so beautiful! This is the place where I''ll learn magic huh. By the way, why did you tell me to start at Melmora instead of here Rexus?¡± Amelia asked. Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings. ¡°I started here so I found out the hard way. This place has a lot to offer, but there are just too many people around, and the crime rate here is horrible. Only a few battle skills are given for leveling those class''s up, and the only way to stand above the rest is to level though work and not killing. More you work the more your skills level and the better your product. It''s hard in a completely different way because of this. Still you can work in this world, and use some knowledge from here on earth so some people chose this path, or are just hobbyists. ¡°Okay so I''m level 9 now. So what does having 8 levels advantage mean here.¡± Amelia asks. ¡°It means you can go farther into the hills and even hit some abandoned mines if you want to push it. But before you do that let''s get you a mage class. Not to sure on what types of classes they have here.¡± After hearing that Amelia jumps up and is about to hug Rexus but stops before contact. ¡°Ah right let''s get going then!¡± She says. The floor is split in half with one part target and practice while the other has a small library and a few classrooms for the mage trainers. This place has 4 mage classes to chose from. They are air, water, earth and Gale. Although to get the gale training you have to be approved by the head mage. He will only train those who read about 50 different books that explain and compare wind, water as well as some ice. Those books were no flimsy things and had many diagrams as well, as theories. To put it blankly Amelia¡¯s reaction was simple ecstasy. ¡®She seems to be the reading type.¡¯ Taking the other three jobs is as simple as taking one class under a teacher then standing in a magic circle to obtain the class. Which is way simpler. I¡¯m thinking that the class''s must be some sort of safety measure. Since the circle is what gives the class. ¡®Being a mage sounds like a pain. No way I''d waste time on that.¡¯ Since we were waiting for their classmate to get here in Whitemere, she felt no need to wait and jumped right into the books. While me and Rexus left to check out the other class¡¯s. On the floors below. This place has all the basic melee and bow class¡¯s. The more specialized classes available were Tamer and Frozen Spear-man. The Frozen Spear-man¡¯s master has been here for over a year in-game thanks to a secret quest someone completed. Rexus then checked in with his master for pointers. A basic Swordsman. ¡°Hey rabbit, I want to go try out some skills my master told me about. Wanna see if I can unlock them? Also want to come with me and hunt some goblins?¡± ¡®Damn right I do! I want to get stronger already.¡¯ So I start shaking my head up and down violently. ------------------------------- ¡®Well this looks fun. Its like a rave party for goblins.¡¯ We are now inside a mine looking down into a large room, filled to the brim with partying goblins. Lucky for me and Rexus we are not alone here. We meet two people while going down the cave tunnel. One of them is a tamer that uses a bow, and has a falcon as a pet, along with a cleric from the church a NPC more specifically. ¡®That''s right! as if I would count a stupid bird that only does as it''s told...¡¯ ¡°Okay we confirmed the report that you told us about. So lets head back to get the proper reinforcements needed to clean these guys up.¡± The Cleric says to the Tamer. ¡®Wait you want to leave this great pile of exp here? If we fight them on the pathway up to here we could fight them off easy¡­ Just push them off the side and have them fall to there deaths.¡¯ I was a little pissed off. ¡°Right I told you so I hope this proves just how faithful I am to you and your god. If I told the army they would certainly take this as an opportunity to strengthen their forces here.¡± He replies. ¡®Sounds like there is some problems between you and them, but screw all that.¡¯ I felt angry looking at those goblins. The thought of them laughing at my near death experience has left a bad image, and a lot of resentment. ¡°Alright then we¡¯ll leave. this is just too big. This will be my first raid, and with the forces of the church even death won''t scare me.¡± Rexus seemed excited at thought. ¡®Coward¡­ But you are right. This is too much for us. If I was human I¡¯d would lure them up here, and kick them down to their deaths. Alas that is impossible for these cowards, and I''m in no condition to do it myself.¡¯ I sighed with my rabbit voice. ¡®Well I''ll just participate alongside Rexus. Maybe even get all the exp needed to evolve. Right now I''m level 89¡­ so close.¡¯ I cant help but think as we leave. On the way back we kill a few bats and some Coyotes but I don''t level from them. Soon we reach the gates and we split up. While walking along the road Rexus ends up freezing up. ¡°Dammit he¡¯s here.¡± He says in low voice. Looking ahead I see a blond teen with somewhat short hair in full silver armor. Looking at his face it gives off a jock like feeling, But his expression looks gentle¡­ He also has a white cloth over his chest bearing Latherus¡¯s sign. ¡®That''s the church of light symbol. Is he a Paladin?¡¯ Latherus is a god of light that protects the weak or so I head. It''s the most widespread church. The blond boy notices Rexus and raises his hand to wave. ¡°Rex how''s it hanging?!¡± however as he finished saying that he trips on his own foot. ¡°Ouch¡­ Why...
