《Blue Moon Saga (R&Y Edition)》 Prologue: Dancing under the Blue Moon Not a sound could be heard in the forest. The birds were quiet, no squirrel was moving nor were there wolves hunting. The trees stood silently in the windless night, casting large inanimate shadows on the ground below. The little river that courses between the trees has gone dead silent, all water has stopped flowing. Nothing was moving, nothing was breathing, and nothing was making a sound. And in the middle of this frozen nature lies a lake, a lake so smooth that, at that moment, it reflected the countless stars in the night sky. The clouds shining a bright blue in contrast with the darkness that lurked behind them. Nocturnal fowl was halted mid flight and could be seen hanging in the air as if strung up to the sky by a string. But the most notable detail of this scene is the moon. A bright blue moon loomed over this timeless landscape casting the whole in an easy light. The ground, usually stained vibrant green by the abundance of grass, was now a pale blue surface without motion. The shadows made by the trees created dark blue figures on the canvas below, yet none of it is moving. Everything was deadly silent. That night was an empty night. But somewhere in this vast ocean of motionlessness was an anomaly. A single specter was able to move in the shadows of the trees. Lurking only in the shadows, the figure passed by two motionless butterflies that hung in the air and approaches the mirror lake at the center of it all. This person does not find this scene too strange, in fact, it was exactly according to plan. Approaching the edge of the tree cover, the figure stepped out into the moonlight to reveal the true form of her existence. It was a woman clothed in but a single piece of black silk, her pitch black hair falling on her back like a waterfall. The dress she wore was nothing extraordinary but it outlined the features of her figure nicely. It did not restrict any movement, not in the legs nor in the arms, and this is why it was perfect for this occasion. The woman continued towards the lake and stops at its edge. She then then lifted her dress and placed a foot on the surface of the water. After shifting her weight onto that foot she dropped the dress and continued walking forward, across the surface of the lake. Every step she took created the slightest ripples on the surface, but in mere moments these motions died out and the surface returned to its smooth appearance. Only when she reached the middle of the lake does she stop. She looked at her surroundings to get a grasp of the situation and then proceeded to placing her back towards the moon. She stood in an upright position, arms by her side, slowly breathing in and out with her eyes closed. Some time passes and the surface of the water was back to reflecting the countless stars in the sky. Suddenly, the woman raised her hands to both sides and bends her arms slightly. Two fans of identical green appeared in both her hands and with an audible snap she closed them. Placing her right hand in front and left hand in the back, she bend over just slightly and she reopens her eyes. The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. She then proceeded to dance. Placing her right foot slightly outwards she uses it to pivot on her left and turn her entire body. As she did this, the fans opened again and started to move in a rhythmical pattern. Continuing to turn on the same spot, the fans moved up and down creating a mesmerizing rhythm. She never stopped any motions, her movements were as fluid as water, moving only in arcs and circles. The water underneath her feet did not stay unchanged. For every step she took and every turn she made she created another ripple on the otherwise flawlessly smooth surface. The reflection of her body in the moonlight was distorted to a point where she would not recognize herself were she to take a look. And then her fans started to glow bright green, making them the only other source of light other than the move in the entire area. The woman didn¡¯t mind and her motions didn¡¯t falter, her arms becoming even more fluid than before. Green stripes of light surrounded her entire body, encasing the alluring movements of her dance. Any onlooker would have seen a whirlwind of green light at the heart of the lake, but such onlookers did not exist as nothing was able to move. As if attracted by this spectacle, green orbs of light approached the dancing woman. Countless little orbs were flying towards her and fused with the fans in her hands. Orbs were flying in from every corner of the lake, all of them fusing with the whirlwind of light. With every orb that fused with her dance, her motions grew wilder and more aggressive. At some point, the water underneath her feet became so wild that waves were pushing out in all directions. Once the last light was absorbed, the woman smiled. The hardest part had just been completed, the rest only required a lot of endurance. And with that thought she changed the dance. The once fluid motions became more acute, even faster than before. The two fans that used to be on opposing sides at all times were now moving at irregular and different speeds. The water, which was raging like an ocean before, had become dead silent again. The reflection of night sky was clearly visible again and if one looked closely, they could see the woman¡¯s feet hovering above the water¡¯s surface. Floating up in the sky, the woman does not stop moving. Her feet pushing off from an invisible surface, the dance just keeps on going. And once she reached a height of 5 meters, the green light disappeared. Instead, the woman was surrounded by a magical aura, a transparent blue ball of spiritual energy had materialized around her. This, too, put a smile on her face but she kept on dancing. The dancing wasn¡¯t going to stop. She had become one with the night. Edited by Wesley Au (Paradox) Chapter 1: [Ragnar] Hero Number One Hiya readers! Due to popular request I tried writing my story in First Person. Tell me which one you like best :) **************************************** Allow me to tell you a story. The story of two boys, both young and full of life, facing the strange and weird ways of their world. It is not a pretty story, mind you, but it is my story and I can guarantee it that it''s worth telling. This story takes place in Halram, the militaristic kingdom that has fought its neighbors for centuries. The country was in a state of never ending war and because of this a lot of sinister activities started to take root in the country¡¯s foundation. Theft, death, rape, it was all common place in the capital city of Halram, aptly named Capital City. Heck, these activities were common in all crowded places of the country. Human being were treated as livestock, women were sold on the black market for pennies. It was a world where the strong thrived and the weak were trampled. Luckily enough, our heroes don¡¯t live in such a crowded place, but in Sophia Village. It was once a renowned city of learning but due to a catastrophic fire it was burned down to the ground, only 52 residents remained. With that fire, however, most of the rotten filth ran out of the city with their tails between their legs, never to return. It might seem odd, but this was one of the very few places in the country where ¡®peace¡¯ actually had a meaning. But that¡¯s enough about the setting, I think you¡¯ll find our two heroes much more interesting. Shall I continue? **************************** This tale begins on a beautiful sunny day, it was truly the perfect representation of an ideal summer. The grassy plains shone bright green, the flowers adding spots of vivid color to the endless ocean of lime. The foliage swayed back and forth as the wind rushes through their bodies. The insects were flying from flower to flower to collect as much nectar as possible to fill their bellies. In somewhere in the middle sat a boy, silently observing the scene in front of him. His short blue hair swayed with the winds and his white pants were flapping in every direction. He sat there, motionlessly and shirtless, eyeing all activity in front of him as if to absorb every little detail. His dark blue eyes were focused on everything and nothing at the same time. His tanned skin shone brightly in the sunlight. This boy, it¡¯s me. I closed my eyes and cleared my mind from any distractions. I stood up and placed my hands in front of me, pouring spiritual energy into them as I do so. As I do so I summon my Soul, a heavy long sword with light blue blade appeared in my hands out of thin air. The air around it was frigid, the sword radiated an aura of ice that contrasted with the heat of the sunlight shining on my face. I gripped the golden handle, not even noticing the intricate patterns nor the green jade like gem that protruded from the hilt¡¯s end. I compensated for the sudden change in weight. I assumed a stance where I could react to any sudden movements, right foot forwards. I listened to my surroundings and heard to sound of the wind rustling through the grass, the bees buzzing from flower to flower. I took in my surroundings using only my ears, and I dare say I did it fairly well. I opened my eyes and started my training. I lifted my sword and placed my left foot in front. I swung down, cleaving empty air, and rotated my entire body halfway. I took another step, backwards bit in the same direction, as I raised my sword again as fast as my small body could handle, still turning as I do this. After completing a single rotation I had raised my sword again in a fluid motion and I continued to attack the imaginary opponent in front of me. I became an icy whirlwind of steel that reflected the sun¡¯s light in all directions. After repeating this pattern a few times I returned to the defensive position from earlier and prepared for my next sequence of attacks. I¡¯d trained both of these attacks quite rigorously and was able to pull them off without much difficulty but I still had to train them. My enemy would exploit any openings I leave. I took a few breaths and stepped forward again with my right foot. While doing so I lunged forwards with the tip of my sword, thrusting forward. I stopped mid motion and raised the hilt of my blade to create a defensive surface in front of my body with the blade. I then thrust again and repeated the same actions a few times. At this point I was starting to get tired, sweat was pouring down my spine and the sun wasn¡¯t making things any easier. Even the cold aura of my Soul wasn¡¯t enough to cool me down. So I decided to take a rest. I struck my sword into the ground and sat on the ground. I sat cross legged, closed my eyes and breathed deeply, I entered a state of meditation. After a few seconds the blade vanished into thin air and its essence returning to my body. As I sat there I noticed something odd, something was approaching me at a slow pace. It was obvious the approaching entity tried to conceal their presence but evidently they failed. I kept quiet and just sat there, pretending not to notice anything. As it came closer I couldn¡¯t help but smile, I was going to scare the heck out of her. The moment the lurker was at my back I yelled at the top of my lungs: ¡°BOO!¡± ¡°AAARGHH!¡± exclaimed the visitor in a girly voice. I could heard her fall to the ground with a soft thumping sound. I turned around and looked at the little girl. . She, too, had blue hair cut off at her shoulders. She wore a simple one piece dress that made her look cuter than any other girls her age. Her big blue eyes looked at me as if ready to start crying. This is my little sister. ¡°Ragnar, you¡¯re so mean! At least you could have pretended to not notice me!¡± she said with a quivering voice. I laughed and said, ¡°And miss out the chance to mess with you? Dream on!¡± ¡°But my dress is all dirty now! Dad¡¯s going to get mad at me.¡± She stood up and showed the back of her dress which was clearly stained bright green. ¡°I¡¯m going to tell Dad!¡± ¡°But Mia, that¡¯s all your fault! You should always be ready for the unexpected. Let that be a wise lesson to you on how to survive,¡± I said as I stood up. I patted some dirt from my pants and looked at my sister. Even though I was only 1.5 years older I was so much more mature than her. She was still an adorable little 9 year old while I was obviously a manly and heroic teenager. ¡°Not everyone is a military freak as yourself,¡± the little girl said and she stuck out her tongue. Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.¡°Oh Mia, how na?ve you are¡¡± I sighed. This was Halram Kingdom, a country that is constantly at war. I was going to protect the village and everyone I cared about. To do so I¡¯d have to become strong, stronger than any enemy I might face. ¡°I watched you for a bit from afar. You seem to have gotten much better with your soul sword,¡± Mia had already calmed down a bit. ¡°Off course! I train hard every morning just to get better with it! How could I not improve?¡± I had been doing this kind of training for years. Every morning, before the rooster woke, I¡¯d start my daily routine of push-up and pull-ups. Afterwards, I would always move to a quiet and remote location to practice my swordsmanship. My body had formed very fine muscles in the process and I was already very handsome for my age. ¡°But why a 2 handed sword? Isn¡¯t a one handed sword easier to handle?¡± asked the girl. I had been training like this since before she could even remember, but she never actually understood her brother¡¯s thinking. ¡°A claymore might not be as easy to use as, let¡¯s say, a cutlass, but it is far more destructive. It can cut through enemy armor much nicer and can also provide a defensive surface to protect myself.¡± I had researched weapons for a long time and had come to the conclusion that longswords were the best. ¡°Uhu,¡± the girl nodded. Her brother knew everything about weapons so she didn¡¯t doubt it. ¡°And why did you make it blue?¡± I let out a small laugh and replied, ¡°That¡¯s just for style. I chose to make my sword in the ice element because it just suited my looks.¡± I pointed at my eyes and hair. My sister thought about that for a moment, she could understand that the last part very well. We were the only ones in the entire village, except for our father, to have blue hair. Visitors always pointed it out and called us freaks. Mia had cried herself to sleep on a number of occasions as someone made fun of her hair color. But as we grew older, we grew to accept our difference. I not only accepted it, I was flaunting it proudly. ¡°That¡¯s really cool!¡± she exclaimed. Literally, I thought, but I kept my mouth shut. That pun was just too bad. I sighed and placed my hands in front of me again. I concentrated my energy into the form of my sword and summoned it once again. It appeared in the blink of an eye and the air around us cooled down instantly. Mia looked at the sword for a second and asked, ¡°Would it still be this cold in any other shape?¡± I hadn¡¯t really thought about it. I had experiments with various shapes and weapons, but the cold was only a recent addition. And since I didn¡¯t know, I decided to try it out. I concentrated on the shape of the sword, imagining it in the shape of an axe, and the sword lit up in a bright blue light. It started to change shape. Little by little the outlines of an axe could be seen and once it was done changing form, the light disappeared. I now held a double sided axe with a golden handle and light blue head, the head featuring some golden designs on it. ¡°So cool! This axe looks really pretty, why don¡¯t you use this one?¡± my sister proclaimed. ¡°Because an axe gets stuck too easily,¡± he replied. ¡°An axe might have more attack power, but it just gets stuck after every strike. A sword swings much more fluidly.¡± Mia had never seen combat but she imagined the splitting of firewood and she could sort of grasp what I was talking about. ¡°You¡¯ve asked me these questions before though. Didn¡¯t you know this already?¡± I said and I made the axe dissolve again. It was kind of heavy. ¡°Teehee, I just forgot,¡± said Mia with an innocent smile meaning she just didn¡¯t really care for the answer. ¡°Anyways, Ragnar, let¡¯s go visit Ymil in the bookstore. I bet he¡¯s lonely!¡± the girl was hopping up and down. ¡°We should let him be. He¡¯s at work,¡± I replied but I was already getting up to go. ¡°You wanna go play with him too, just admit it,¡± said Mia cheerfully and she ran back in the direction of the village. Off course I wanted to play, I was only 11 years old, but I wanted my sister to think of me as a grownup. ¡°Yeah yeah¡¡± I said and followed Mia. But as soon as I started to run my competitive side got the better of me. ¡°The last one at the book store is a fat little piglet!¡± And I sprinted past my little sister. ¡°Hay, that¡¯s not fair! You¡¯re older!¡± And she started to run as fast as she could. My sister is kinda cute, isn¡¯t she? ************************** And that¡¯s it for my introduction. I¡¯ll be taking care of my side of the story but I¡¯ll leave Ymil¡¯s side up to him. I can¡¯t really claim to know everything he¡¯s been through, now can I? Oh, I don¡¯t think I¡¯ve explained this yet, but the Soul is something everyone on the planet receives upon birth. It is a gift that our beloved Mother Earth has bestowed upon humanity as she saw how the cavemen were having trouble surviving. It is a spiritual tool that can take on any shape until we turn 16. Kids can freely summon their Soul to help them around with daily chores or to just play around. Knives, swords, books, dolls, you name it. As long as you can imagine it, it can take that shape. It¡¯s a really handy tool as it is stored in our mind, its ¡®essence¡¯ floats around in our subconscious until we summon it. Just think of it as a Swiss army knife that is even more compact. Sadly enough, as you grow older it becomes increasingly difficult to change its shape and when you turn 16 you lose the ability entirely. It¡¯s not a bad thing though! The shape it settles in is chosen by your subconscious, or your future depending on the theory, but it never takes on a shape the owner would be dissatisfied with. And because they lost the ability to change its shape, the Soul a person has will become stronger as he or she trains to use it. I, for one, hoped that my Soul would settle as an ice blade, much like the one I was using just now. I mean, they are so cool (no pun intended)! If I could master the ice element I could freeze my opponents before they even reach me, that¡¯d be an instant victory for me! ***************************** Chapter 2: [Ymil] Why am I Hero nr.2? ¡®¡as the Evil Wizard walked away from the fiery pit, our hero was left to die as he slowly sank into the hot pool of molten lava. Hanging by the arms, Thaddeus had no hope of surviving this problematic setting. If only he could use his magic!¡¯ *Ringedingling* ¡®Yet luck was on Thad¡¯s side, the wizard¡¯s daughter had learned of her father¡¯s evil deeds and wanted to put a stop to them. She had followed him to this dungeon and was watching everything from¡.¡¯ *Ahem* As I was reading this incredible piece of literature I was interrupted by the scraping of someone¡¯s throat. Upon realizing I wasn¡¯t the only on in the store I decided to return to reality and put down the book I was reading. I was supposed to be tending to the store. ¡°How may I be of service, sir?¡± I said as I looked up at the customer. In front of me stood a tall, handsome man. Hehad a rich look about him, he wore red robes with a golden dragon design curving around his body. His hair was combed neatly to the side, the long blond strands dangling from the sides of his face. Djinns, I thought, a Noble. ¡°Interesting book, is it?¡± asked the man with a small smile on his face. ¡°Oh yes, it¡¯s the story of Thaddeus, the Wizard that¡¡± ¡°¡that wielded the Nimrod Fragments of old to defeat all the evils in the world. I know that story well,¡± finished the man as he walked picked up the book I just put down. He started to look through the pages. Please don¡¯t lose the page I¡¯m on! ¡°It just so happens that I¡¯m here to buy any books you might have on the Nimrod Fragments. If they¡¯ve got any historical value, I want it.¡± I look at the customer with a sour face. He was still holding my book and I was already imagining him walking away with it. That would really suck. ¡°I¡¯m sorry sir, but the book in your hands is the last of its kind,¡± I answered as I sighed. ¡°Is that so? That¡¯s too bad then. Even though I love me a good Thaddeus book, it¡¯s fiction nonetheless¡,¡± he answered and he put my book down on the counter. He looked somewhat disappointed. ¡°Well, any works featuring the Nimrod Remnants are incredibly popular. They were the bestselling books we had for years.¡± ¡°I can imagine. Are you sure you guys don¡¯t have a secret stash of books locked away somewhere? I¡¯ll pay you handsomely for anything worthwhile.¡± ¡°No sir, what you see is what we got,¡± I said as I pointed around the room. The room we were in was very dark, lit only by a single window next to the entrance. All walls were covered by bookcases filled to the brim with musty books, the only surviving books of the Liberal Library after the great Fire Calamity that burned down the entire city. There were a few spiders here and there, but they were harmless. The only things in the room were survivors of that disaster, myself included. ¡°That¡¯s too bad then¡¡± he said while looking around the room. ¡°But I expected as much. It would probably have been a work of fiction anyways.¡± ¡°Well, Nimrod Fragments are fictional anyways. Any good book on history wouldn¡¯t feature them, would they?¡± ¡°You¡¯re right about that, son. You¡¯re right about that,¡± said the man absentmindedly. Why act so vague about it? I mean, how could such convenient power-ups exist in reality? ¡°Anyways, that¡¯s not the only topic I¡¯m interested in. Do you have any books on the Blue Moon Dance? Any kind would do.¡± The man looked me in the eyes with a serious face as he said that. I knew of the Blue Moon tale but it wasn¡¯t a well-known story. And besides, it was children¡¯s story. Why would he be interested in that? ¡°We got a book on that topic, but I really don¡¯t think you¡¯ll want it.¡± ¡°Oh, and why¡¯s that?¡± ¡°Because it¡¯s a book with nursery rhymes for little children.¡± ¡°Oh, that¡¯s quite all right. Can I see this book?¡± The man was keeping a straight face but it was clear that he was internally excited. So I got up and walked towards the nearest bookcase. I stopped in front of it and closed my eyes. Now which one was it¡. ¡°What are you doing?¡± asked the man. ¡°Shhh, allow me.¡± Ah yes, that one. I reach out my hand and pulled at the seemingly empty air in front of me. With that motion a book flew out from the shelf and into my hands. I turned around and handed the book over to him. The man was looking at me with a surprised look on his face. ¡°Did you just use telekinesis? At your age?!¡± First of all, I was already ten years old, turning eleven the next week. Second of all, no, that was not telekinesis. ¡°No sir, I used my Soul to pull it. See?¡± I held out my hand and showed what it was I just pulled. In my hand was a small silken thread that ran from my hand to the book I was holding. ¡°And you so happened to have it attached to the book I wanted?¡± he asked with disbelief. ¡°Nope, I attached such a string to every book in the store. I just had to remember which thread it was I had to pull.¡± The man thought about that for a bit and looked around the room. He probably thought that the threads he was seeing were spider webs. I wouldn¡¯t blame him. Most customers do. ¡°That¡¯s a cool way to use your Soul, if I do say so myself. Must have taken you a lot of time to do.¡± Off course it did, but it sure beat having to climb up into the book case every time a customer wanted to see a few books. Books they were most likely not even buying. ¡°Nah, sir. Nothing is too much work to make our work here more efficient.¡± ¡°Anyways, can I see that book?¡± he said as he held out his hand. I flipped through the pages and opened it up at the page with the Blue Moon poem. Love what you''re reading? Discover and support the author on the platform they originally published on. ¡°Here, sir, take a look.¡± The man gave an approving nod as he took the book from me. He stared at the pages and I could feel that his excitement was increasing. ¡°Is this what you¡¯re looking for?¡± The man didn¡¯t answer straight away, but once he finished reading the poem he answered: ¡°Yes, this book was worth the trip here. Do you have anything else that I might find interesting?¡± I thought about that for a while, trying to remember every book we had for sale. It was no easy task, but Uncle Max made me do it. It¡¯s good training of the mind, he said. Took me a few weeks but I managed to do it eventually. ¡°Wait right here sir, I might have something else.¡± I walked to another book case, this one held much older books, they were the most valuable items in the store. I stood still again for a moment, remembering which thread led to which book and then pulled at it. Another book came flying out of the bookshelf and right into my hands. ¡°I believe this one contained a story about the origin of the two moons¡¡± The man walked up to me and looked at the book in my hands. He shook his head and said: ¡°That won¡¯t be necessary. I can see that that book is way out of my budget.¡± I looked at him, and then at his clothes and couldn¡¯t help but be surprised. ¡°But I thought Nobles were extremely rich?¡± The man started to laugh. ¡°Hahaha, I think you misunderstood something. I¡¯m not a Noble. I¡¯m a Teacher.¡± As Nobility were known for their strength, Teachers were praised for their intelligence. They did not fight on the front lines but were tasked with the training of young students. I¡¯d be learning from such Teachers in just a few weeks. It was mandatory, after all. ¡°A teacher? That¡¯s awesome! Where do you teach?¡± ¡°At the Capital Military Academy, the most elite school in the entire country.¡± He answered proudly. ¡°That¡¯s the one we¡¯re going to! Maybe we¡¯ll have you as our teacher next semester!¡± ¡°We?¡± ¡°Oh, by ¡®we¡¯ I mean me and my friend Ragnar. We¡¯ll both be 11 at the start of the next semester so we¡¯re enrolling at the same time.¡± I put down the book and walked towards the counter. I sat down and took out a piece of paper to write down the transaction. As I did, the teacher put down the book and looked at me writing. ¡°Something the matter?¡± I asked. ¡°It¡¯s uncommon for commoners to learn how to read and write at such a young age. Where¡¯d you learn to do that?¡± ¡°From my uncle. He¡¯s been making me help around the store ever since he took me in. He teaches me many things, writing was just one of them.¡± I finished up the writing and handed him the piece of paper. He looked at it and his face turned into a grimace. He probably saw the price I¡¯d written down. ¡°Urgh, I know books are expensive, but this is ridiculous¡¡± Well, considering most of these books were hand-written and one-of-a-kind items, it seemed fair for us to ask such prices. Most of the copies had burned during the fire incident. These were all unique. Nevertheless, the teacher paid the money. ¡°Thank you for doing business with us, sir. Please come again.¡± The man looked at me and revealed a little smile. ¡°You¡¯re not going to ask? Most children would ask me straight away to show them my Soul.¡± I couldn¡¯t deny that the thought hadn¡¯t occurred to me, but that would have been considered rude. ¡°Off course not sir. But if you really want to show it, I won¡¯t mind.¡± The man¡¯s smile turned into a wide grin and he took a step back. Placing both his hands in front of him, he started to focus on the materialization of his Soul. In his hands appeared a vibrant red leather rope, coiled up in a neat bundle. In the palm of his hand lay a golden handle with a yellow gem at its end. A wave of hot air emanated from the whip that the man had just summoned. It was obvious that this weapon used the Fire attribute. I couldn¡¯t help but stare in awe. Such an impressive Soul wasn¡¯t that common in remote villages such as Sophia Village. Only Uncle Olaf¡¯s hammer radiated this much strength. ¡°Wow,¡± I said. ¡°That is one impressive looking Soul.¡± ¡°It isn¡¯t very strong though, otherwise I would be a Noble. It is quite inefficient on the battlefield. It does help me maintain order in class though. Not many students want to feel my wrath twice.¡± His grin didn¡¯t waver and I could feel a cold sweat run down my spine. Note to self, don¡¯t mess with the teachers. ¡°Put that thing away before these book catch fire,¡± I said remembering where we were at. He released his Soul and the energy returned to his body. ¡°Well, I wasn¡¯t planning on burning the place down. I don¡¯t think my wallet would allow that,¡± he said and he laughed. He picked up the book and started to walk away. ¡°Thanks for the book, I think it should help me in my studies. I¡¯ll be taking my leave now.¡± He opened the door and was about to step through it, but before he did I just had to ask: ¡°Do you regret it? Do you regret that your Soul settled in this form?¡± The man stopped and looked me in the eyes. ¡°No, never.¡± And then he left the store. I mauled over that answer for a bit and decided to continue reading my book. ¡®The evil wizard¡¯s daughter came back and¡¡¯ *Ringedingling* For goodness sake, can¡¯t a man read in peace?
