《Eternal Divinity》 Chapter 1 - God Descendance Deep under the surface of the world, so deep that no man could venture here, there was a cave inaccessible by the outside world. In this cave which was so pitch black that not even the sharpest of eyes could distinguish anything, a shape was moving about in the shadows. This shape, no, this man was endlessly walking from one side to the other in this relatively cramp space. His face bore the typical signs of someone deeply troubled. Eyes squinting, body shaking and an endless muttering after every step in this cave was taken. He wore a handsome face, hair pitch black at medium length, eye¡¯s yellow almost to the point of appearing golden which in turn conveyed a strong belief in self-acceptance and self-confidence. His attire was what most people would consider his downfall, at least in the aspect of outer appearance. The man was wearing nothing but torn up pieces of linen, what might have been masterfully crafted clothing attire before was long forgotten. This man was none other than Honem. Honem the current and founding emperor of the Bhazi Empire. The great Bhazi Empire had conquered most of the known world during its short 10 year life. All under the command and guidance of the greatest warrior and magician to ever walk the world in the last 1000 years or so, Honem the son of Rathes and the unifier of nations. Almost nothing could stand in the path of Honem strategic and martial might. Under his short 10 years of rule only the other 2 great empires could muster up resistance in his wake and it wasn¡¯t long until he had taken a lot of their territory as well. Even though common people thought that the victories were taken by strategic might and that Honem above all possessed a godlike mind for war those who had seen him on the battlefield would beg to differ. Honem son of Rathes and unifier of nations had a secret, a secret that would shock most of the world in to chaos; he was without a doubt in his mind, a god. Well the term god could definitely be opposed but he had at least transcended the realm of men entering into a realm completely different, a realm where his martial might was unmatched and godlike to the normal man. The sun continent abided under an unspoken rule, martial might could rule over all. Martial training therefore began very early in every youngling¡¯s life, the richer the family the better the circumstances. The rich could bring in masters that had already reached the heights to teach and cultivate their offspring¡¯s. The commoner though did not have this privilege and would have to forge their own path. The difference between a man that cultivated and a man that didn¡¯t could only be described as the difference between heaven and earth. The continent and the world was clustered in a substance that could only be described as life energy or in Sun continent terms: Ki (In our terms The Force as a Star Wars reference). By different methods of absorbing this substance one could contain the energy inside on self to bring forth great power, or you could let the energy nourish and develop your body, the application techniques was with 100.000 years of history indeed numerous. Humans were just one of many species that roamed the Sun continent but they all had in accordance a strong a proven belief on how to access martial might. Every living being was differentiated by four realms and ten levels, and when reaching the later part of the tenth level would one ascend their current realm into a new more powerful one. Every new born being was born into the Spirit Profound Realm although there had been special diversions from this common rule they were so few that they would only appear once a thousand years. 90 percent of every living being came into this world at the first level of the spirit realm and the other 10 percent somewhere along its path. By constantly nurturing and cultivating both in martial techniques and Ki absorption techniques people would ascend levels in the martial hierarch but obviously at different speed. What followed was the Nascent Profound Realm which was a realm a great deal of society never would experience. Earth Realm, at this stage you were already considered a master by most or a genius by many, only the worlds truly adept would ever lay their eyes on this glorious Ki energy streaming through their veins. Heavenly Profound Realm, beings currently in this realm is said to be less than a hundred and closer to fifty. Once you entered this realm not only were you revered and worshiped where ever you went you could also wield the technique that made it possible to fly at the seventh level of the skies at the highest of altitudes. Every young cultivator dreamed of walking the skies and looking down on the mightiest of mountains. So what happens after you transcended the Heavenly Profound Realm. The realm that went against the laws of god and the universe? Only one man knew the answer to this question and he was currently trapped deep in the core of the very world he once ruled. ¡°There have to be some way to get out of here. I wield the power of a god but I can still not force my will on this damn rock¡± Honem said with a gloomy voice and even gloomier face. ¡°I can¡¯t summon any profound power inside this cave¡. Then the only answer has to be that it has sealed my power right?¡± Even though the closest living being might be over a thousand miles from Honem¡¯s current location he couldn¡¯t help talking to himself to calm his nerves. Being stuck here for a couple of days might be fine, but it had already been way longer than that. How long? Well Honem didn¡¯t really know since it was hard to keep track of anything in this complete darkness. This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. ¡°At least I don¡¯t require any food or water to survive. If this is not a sign of godhood then I don¡¯t know what is¡¡± Honem couldn¡¯t contain his anger and disappointment and started beating at the wall in front of him but obviously to no avail. The rock were incredibly sturdy and was for some reason pitch black instead of that grayish color most of as used to. ¡°Pitch black hmmm, this has to be that old fellow¡¯s doing. But why trap me? I already fulfilled my promise¡± -----------------------------------¡® - Thundering twin peak about 430 years ago ¨C Two mountain peaks stood at fourth level of heaven. Their greatness could only be described as majestic and breathtaking but their beauty could not be taken lightly because with the great sight came great danger. The two peaks who were once of the same mountain had split by the devastating power of the heavens. Being too close to the sky had unintentionally brought the rage of thunder with them and they were therefore known as the Thundering Twin Peaks one of the most desolate and unreachable place in the known world and by definition one of the most dangerous. But overlooking these two monstrous peaks, two men stood facing each other in midair. One of them was an old bald man with fierce eyebrows and even fiercer eyes. He radiated the feeling of a true ancient expert who stood above all; he wore a black monk coat covering most of his rather thin body. Surprisingly enough the wind didn¡¯t seem to affect the ancient experts coat, it didn¡¯t flutter in the wind or more precisely it didn¡¯t move at all. Opposing him stood a young man who looked to be in his early twenties or even younger, he had a handsome face and masterfully crafted clothes that amplified his already mesmerizing appearance. ¡°Why have you summoned me, Lord Ari?¡± The youth said as his coat continued to flutter in the wind. ¡°Haha, you don¡¯t seem intimidated at all. I quite like that about you. Well to the point, you entered the Heavenly Profound Realm recently am I correct?¡± ¡°You are correct¡± The young man didn¡¯t have the patient to wind into Lord Ari first words, because this character before him was none other than Lord Ari the oldest Heavenly Profound Realm expert known. Some even speculated that he had lived for more than a million year; although this was never proven it was without a doubt according to the history books very plausible. This is even stranger since most experts of the Heavenly Profound Realm only have a life spawn of about one thousand years. Lord Ari was an entity that did not oblige by the mortal world, and only the most revered people of the Sun Continent even knew that he excited. ¡°You are probably the youngest expert I have seen step into the Heavenly Realm. I am impressed¡± Lord Ari couldn¡¯t help but smile at the young expert before him. ¡°Enough small talk, why have you summoned me to thundering peaks?¡± Impatience grew stronger and stronger on the face of the young expert. ¡°I see that you are impatient. I live at the very northest part of this world, a place way beyond the reach of the current Sun Continent. Before you reach the pinnacle of the Heavenly Profound Realm please come seek me out with the scroll of eternal fire¡± ¡°That¡¯s all?¡± The youth was rather dumbfounded; this task was without a doubt not something incredibly hard. The youth had heard from other people that the requests Lord Ari would require were of great importance, but this seemed rather trivial. ¡°Yes, that¡¯s all. I will take my leave now good luck with further endeavors¡± Before the youth could even reply the old man had already disappeared without a trace. His speed was way faster than the youth, so fast that his eyes couldn¡¯t even follow his tracks. The youth was even at the third level of the Heavenly Profound Realm, but keeping track of the old man came to no avail. ¡°Even though I came after I ascended the Heavenly Profound Realm, the punishment shouldn¡¯t be eternal prison right?¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help being rather pissed at the old man¡¯s actions. I mean this was a trivial task right? Another option was that it wasn¡¯t Lord Ari that did this at all and someone else was after him. But even though Honem had made several enemies during his empires conquest none were even close to as strong as him and could therefore not retaliate. The only logical answer was the old monk, Lord Ari. He who could move so fast not even a person from the Heavenly Profound Realm could grasp his technique. Even though Honem may have grasped who the culprit of this whole scheme was, the problem of getting out of here still remained. Chapter 2 - Freedom Minutes, days, weeks, months and years passed by but Honem had come no closer to revealing the truth behind this mysterious pitch black rock. Including the pitch black rock, the size of the cave was also one of the physiological factors that made Honem feel worse and worse. One could walk from one end to the other in less than 10 seconds. Loneliness that viscous snake were clinging to the very core of the man¡¯s being and any means to release its clutches were futile. Honem had always been fiercely independent but almost all men are terrified of being alone. There is a difference but only those who had experienced them in their purests of forms could clearly grasp that meaning. Most people would dedicate this time to training and get lost in the process of it but Honem had no cultivation and could therefore just stare into pitch blackness day after day. ¡°Shit, there has to be some god damn way out of this shit hole¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help scratching his head as the ongoing headache was getting worse. A deity being getting a headache, an occurrence only happening in these kind of situations.. Honem got to his feet and started inspecting the pitch black stone material looking for any sign of weakness in this underground cave. But as the hours went by he found nothing, this pitch black rock was without any question covering every bit of the caves interior. ¡°Since I have unlimited time I might as well study them¡± Honem wasn¡¯t really a rock fanatic but given the profound nature of the material he might as well try to understand its mysterious power. Inspecting it closely, touching it in oddly manners, listening to the sound of it, placing a palm on it checking for vibration and even profounder ways continued to be develop by Honem. It became an obsession trying to understand the properties behind the material; no one could blame him though. A man stuck for centuries in a cramped space together with only one interesting thing, a mysterious and profound rock; obviously it became the center of his attention. ¡°So it actually has a rhythm and a vibration sequence happening concurrently, haha, this stone is rather interesting¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help smiling after finally deciphering a small mystery of this mysterious rock. ¡°This rhythm and sequence¡ It¡¯s deeper and heavier than the outside world. The Ki imbedded in these rocks are truly profound¡± By being a cultivator of utmost genius obviously Honem knew about the rhythm of Ki which like everything had means to move around. The higher cultivation one had the higher that person¡¯s sensitivity to the worlds Ki would develop. It wasn¡¯t until Honem had reached the Heavenly Profound Realm that he could sense the rhythm and vibrations of the world Ki. Honem currently had no cultivation it was therefore hundreds of times harder to even feel the slightest of vibration or rhythm. But by continuously studying the mysterious rock for countless years his effort finally took fruit. ¡°This rhythm and sequence seem to be the thing that is interfering with my cultivation. Maybe this rhythm can nullify cultivation?¡± Honem immediately took a meditative position. This was the first time in countless years that he felt that he might have a chance of escape. If he could analyze the rhythm in comparison with the rhythm of the world Ki from where he came from, he might unlock the secret needed to break the formation. Countless years went by and Honem had not moved from his spot. He sat there like a statue, unmoving. A normal man would call him insane but to the countless expert of the world this amount of concentration and determination could only be admired. One day Honem slowly opened his eyes, relief and a small smile could be caught on his face. ¡°Not only is the rhythm nullifying my ability to condense any Ki it¡¯s actually absorbing it. What a truly astonishing power.¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help but being amazed, something this profound actually existed in the world. ¡°Well I guess it¡¯s time to begin step two¡± Honem once again took a meditative position and slowly closed his eyes. This time he did not intend to further ponder the mysteries of the stone, he already knew enough to finally escape from this godforsaken prison. To nullify the effect of the black stone he had to change the nature of the Ki to match this mysteries pitch black rocks rhythm. Changing the outside worlds Ki was out of the question, no man could do it and not to mention someone without cultivation. But changing the Ki inside our bodies was very much possible although it required something very precious, time. No living being had made efforts since the amount of time needed was far greater than the average person¡¯s lifetime. Luckily Honem had unlimited time and therefore felt somewhat at ease. ¡°According to my current progress, transforming all Ki spread across my body into this rhythm and sequence might take forever. Transforming parts of it should be enough to break from this stone prison, I¡¯ll go with that¡± The first step was actually to gain godlike control over your inner Ki. Gaining control and condensing it was two entirely different things. Condensing was like setting fire to oil, you only had to light it for it to start burning and once it was burning you would naturally feel your body gain power. Then you would use that burning power to boost both physical strength and to maneuver techniques. The concept was easy and most people could at least comprehend the first step of lighting the fire. Controlling your inner Ki was more like controlling how your blood flows, which in concept was impossible for blood but very plausible for Ki. Controlling inner Ki had long ago been claimed useless because the effort heavily outweighed outcome. It was by no means useless in itself since it gave more efficient means to ¡°burn¡± Ki which resulted in slightly higher power boost. But solely concentrating on raising ones cultivation was both faster and provided more result. For example if someone concentrated on absorbing Ki and learning martial techniques while another man concentrated on gaining control over his current Ki the difference in strength would be enormous. By the time the man who tried to gain complete control over his Ki finally succeeded the other man might already have entered more than realm higher in actual Ki cultivation level and was therefore without a doubt superior. Fifty years was the average time it took to gain complete control of ones Ki and the normal person only lived between one hundred to two hundred years depending on race. Honem completed this training in less than twenty years which spoke for both his talent and dedication. The second step was the hardest, something that would take any man several life times to complete. He had to imprint the sequence and rhythm of the black mysterious stone in his very being, something that no other man had tried before. This might take thousand years or it might take ten thousand years. Nobody knew since nobody had dared to try it. Although this was a daring task Honem did not cover, since time was endless and his being eternal. If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it. - The snow of winter laid their first sprinkles on the Sun continent and the snow gradually melted away. The sun once again appeared on the seventh of skies and together came life and nourishment, as the flowers progressively increased so did the strength of the mighty sun. As the sun reached its peak temperature the process reversed. Cold clustered the air and the nourishment of the flowers modestly disappeared to once again face the chills of snow. This everlasting cycle continued for countless decades but Honem did never move, no, he held the same position for what could only be described as an eternity in the eyes of the common man. Dust and mold was continuously accumulating on his unmoving body as time continued to pass. But one day the dust suddenly just shattered in every direction. Honem now didn¡¯t have a single strain of dust left on his body. ¡°Huh, that took way to long. I wonder how many years have passed. It has to be at least a thousand!¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help but to convey an expression of pure determination and happiness. It was finally without any doubt time to escape from this hell hole. It was finally time to have that beautiful sun shine its divine light up his body. ¡°But damn the amount of absorbed Ki is just too much¡± Nobody could go against this reasoning though. The pitch black stone had for over thousand years absorbed small parts of his Ki which obviously had accumulated over time. ¡°My current cultivation should only be around the third level of the Spirit Profound Realm, Is this even enough to break the black stone?¡± As soon as Honem thought that he decided to test out his strength. Since he currently had parts of his Ki in the stone sequence and rhythm he no longer had to worry about it absorbing anymore. By utilizing godly Ki control into his hand and ¡°burning¡± it Honem struck out at the pitch black rock material. To his surprise the stone quite easily crumbled to pieces. It was actually easier then breaking through regular stone which people that didn¡¯t have godly inner Ki control definitely could manage at about the fifth level of the Spirit Profound Realm. ¡°The material itself was actually this weak?¡± Honem obviously couldn¡¯t believe that such a weak material could keep him, once a god stuck here for over a thousand years. ¡°Hmm so where should I dig up or down?¡± ¡°I¡¯ll go with up then since I am obviously in some type of cave¡± By continuously digging through the black material at one point he finally managed to hit stone. Honem had without any doubt finally escaped the black stone prison. Now the question was only how long would he have to dig to see the mighty and beautiful sun? Time flew by rapidly as Honem vigorously continued to dig. With each might of his palm stone forcefully crumbled, this cycle progressed for many scorching summers and icy winters. Even if earnest progress was made, Honem felt that he never would lay his eyes on the sun again. As stone crumbled it made life for a new, endlessly and eternally much as Honem¡¯s very being. ¡°I can¡¯t give up; I can¡¯t tolerate any more loneliness. For some reason I don¡¯t crave any food or water anymore so I should be fine with just continuous digging¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help feeling a bit puzzled. There were no food and no water in that cave. At first he thought that it was his Heavenly Profound Realm Ki that kept him full but usually expert at this level could only sustain without food for so long until they would face consequences. The weirdest thing of all was that he was currently not in the Heavenly Profound Realm anymore and should by all means be hungry by now. Even stranger is that he hadn¡¯t aged. Heavenly Profound Realm experts could without any doubt live to be a thousand but would after a while wither away like any normal man¡ ¡°Strange, strange indeed¡± As the stone continued to crumble before the might of Honem¡¯s hands, time once again flew along its path. But suddenly the hard stone that once was in the way of the sun became softer, softer and softer. ¡°I am getting close, any moment now¡¡± ¡°Finally I¡¯ll be free of this darkness¡± As the hope that he once accumulated was starting to change into doubt, Honem¡¯s hand finally broke through. Even if only his hand could feel the breeze of the wind, Honem exploded with happiness. As he finally climbed out from the darkness, he saw it, that beautiful and mighty, sun. Honem couldn¡¯t help but acting ecstatic. Jumping up and down like a regular mad man. If any man laid their eyes on this spectacle the natural response would have been to laugh, laugh hard. ¡°Yes!! Freaking finally. The sun, the grass, the warmth even this freaking tree. I love you all¡± It was only until minutes later that he had calmed down that he could view the surrounding area. Honem was currently on a wide open grass plane stretching as far the eye could reach. Even if it was a plane plenty of trees could be seen sprinkled around in rather unconventional clusters. ¡°Based on the amount of trees around here I should currently be around the south or in the central region of the continent. Therefore probably in Kurat Empire¡± Even if the empire of Bhazi had conquered wide and far across the land, the south was at least in Honem¡¯s time still firmly held by the Kurat Empire. Obviously Honem had been imprisoned for a long time¡ Things might have changed. ¡°Hmm, the first step should be to find the nearest town and gather some information. Then off the reclaim my empire. Well at my current level that might be a little out of reach¡¡± ¡°I guess I have to retrain myself¡¡± Just thinking about it Honem couldn¡¯t help getting exhausted. He had been imprisoned for a very long time and training was not the first thing that most people would like to do after such a long prison sentence.. ¡°So north, east, west or south? I guess north should be the right way towards Bhazi empire¡± Even if he was just walking he couldn¡¯t help but stopping every once in a while. The beauty of the outside world was without any doubt mesmerizing to a dangerous degree. The flowers were in full bloom and summer just seemed to have arrived. Getting out of prison at this time of the year was a blessing given by the god. As Honem continued to walk the planes a village came into sight. Although the size seemed bigger than the norm for a farming village I couldn¡¯t be considered a town. As Honem got closer he couldn¡¯t help getting further excited. The architectural style was rather rigid, with white pale stones holding up the well-worn hay roofs. The town was protected by a small wooden fence about the size of a well grown man. But even this town was by no means a spectacle to the common man ¡°This beauty, I love this town¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help putting on his brightest of smiles. Chapter 3 - Confrontation Writting is hard -.- Hopefully this one turned out okay.. Sidebar: The world is obviously way different. The method in which I will reveal this will be ascosiated with Honem''s own journey instead of writting a hole essay about it during one single chapter. Hopefully that''s okay with you people :p Big brother means, someone they respect in this case. And lastly I am currently on vacation, will write during it but internet access may be limited therefore 5 chapters might come out at the same occassion hopefully that''s fine... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Honem was approaching the wide entrance in a happy mesmerized state a well-built man came into his path. He was wearing nothing but farm clothes but definitely had the aura of a warrior hanging on his shoulders. ¡°Hey, I don¡¯t recognize you. Identify yourself stranger!¡± The well-built man couldn¡¯t help being rather suspicious. I mean this stranger was dirty from head to toe and had mysterious golden eyes shining bright from a mostly dirty covered face. ¡°Ehmmm¡¡± Honem was hesitiating, I mean he hadn¡¯t spoken with any one in god know how long. This moment carried an undying weight. ¡°Can¡¯t you understand me? Where are you from?¡± The well-built man was getting more and suspicious. The common tongue was something that the entire continent could speak but this man was not responding. ¡°Ahh sorry, I just got nervous when I saw your build.¡± Honem obviously wasn¡¯t but that was everything he could muster up after that embarrassing first sentence. ¡°hahaha, that¡¯s an honest answer. Well don¡¯t be freighting stranger I am not as dangerous as I may appear¡± That honest and straight forward answer softened the well-built man. ¡°I am Honem Bha.. I mean, I am Honem Bahi¡± He was going to say Bhazi, but having the same name as an empire might turn out problematic. ¡°Mr Honem, I don¡¯t mean to be rude but you look like shit, literally¡± ¡°You can¡¯t blame me for being a bit suspicious of a man looking like yourself can you?¡± Honem couldn¡¯t say much so he just nodded in complies. ¡°I guess you have your reasons. You look incredible thin though, I presume you don¡¯t have any money looking like that?¡± The man was obviously showing pity as he stretched for his coin purse, picking up some bronze coins and forcefully putting them in Honem¡¯s hands. ¡°Take these and clean yourself up, my name is Ryan by the way. Welcome to Laky village.¡± ¡°Why are you being so nice to me?¡± Honem was obviously dumbfounded. He had done nothing for the man but here he was forcefully putting money in his lap. ¡°I hate to say it but you appearance in just too pitiful. You look even worse than the beggars in town for god sake¡± ¡°Now hush away towards the inn and get yourself cleaned up before you actually scare away people¡± Honem was almost in tears. Even if it was in pity, this kindness in such a ruthless world was truly rare. Leaving the eternal prison and witnessing the kindness of human beings was nothing short of breath taking. As Honem was moving along the path in this small village he couldn¡¯t help but being brought back to reality. People was constantly starring in disdain, pointing and laughing. As he met with breath taking might of human¡¯s kindness he was slammed by its cruelty. What an odd turn of events. The beast and the beauty was the name of the local inn. The meaning became clear just as you entered the establishment. The inn was run by a father and daughter and you guessed it, the father was an awful looking brute. Crooked teeth, bad complexion and dirty hair were just the tip of the iceberg. The daughter though was a beauty at least in the eyes of the common. Long black silken hair hanged down her back and a well-shaped face came with it. She had a childlike body but for some reason it only amplified her little sister kind of charm. Even the father and daughter was known to treat every guest with respect, they couldn¡¯t help but frown when they laid their eyes on Honem. His currently appearance was just too awful. Torned up clothes and completely covered in dirt made him come across as the poorest of men. ¡°Excuse me mister but can you really afford to stay here?¡± The charming 18 year something daughter asked. Her father couldn¡¯t keep himself from telling Honem to just plainly leave but the daughter didn¡¯t have to stomach for it and had therefore decided to reason with the man. ¡°Yes, here take these¡± Honem¡¯s dirty palms extended with a couple of bronze coins. Honem felt that he couldn¡¯t get mad in this situation. I mean by his appearance he did indeed appear poor. The daughter couldn¡¯t help but get rather amazed by the amount of money this man had. Eight bronze coins was by no means a fortune but in the hands of the dirty Honem it had to be. ¡°Okay, with this you can stay 5 nights. The hotel includes baths and breakfast in the morning. Lunch and dinner does not include the package but can be purchased when they arrive. By you appearance I think taking a bath should be your first concern.¡± ¡°This is the Key to your room and that bath is in the back. Room number 5¡± The surprise regarding the money had quickly dispersed as she saw the opportunity to make some money. ¡°I¡¯ll bath soon.¡± As Honem said that he picked up the remaining coins from his purse and ran to the tailor that he had seen on his way here. Pick up the cheapest of village clothing he quickly returned to the inn rushing for the bath. That warm water, he couldn¡¯t wait to experience that sweet and divine sensation. ¡°Ahh this is the stuff¡¡¡± Getting clothed Honem walked out from the bathhouse. The amount of customer had increased quite a bit during his bath time, not bothering much about that Honem took a left up the stair in preparation to finally go to sleep. ¡°Hey who are you?¡± -¡°Is he talking to me?¡±- As Honem turned around almost everyone in the tavern was staring at him. Their eyes were glowed to Honem, views of surprise and admiration could be seen everywhere. -¡°Why are they staring at me?¡±- ¡°Uhm, what do you mean I am your guest right?¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help feeling rather puzzled. I mean he was just in here meeting the person currently speaking. The brute father couldn¡¯t help but get even more puzzled in response. ¡°Wait are you that beggar just now?¡± his hair was wet then it couldn¡¯t possibly someone else right? But this person¡ The brute father couldn¡¯t help being surprised I mean the man currently standing before him was very handsome but that was not the most mesmerizing thing about him, those eyes, those golden eyes stared right through you. Ancient beautiful noble was the direct feeling that came to mind; the beggar had this collected air about himself something that few men ever had. ¡°Beggar, that¡¯s rather rude¡± Honem felt that the situation was turning out weird so turned around and left. Luckily no one called out for him and he could peacefully enter his room. The next morning when Honem walked down to get breakfast something rather surprising happened. The ugly brute had completely changed his personality. Instead of frowning at mere presence of Honem he instead curiously welcomed him, he even went as far as specially preparing a table for him. He was convinced that the man was some noble that had lost his way. As Honem was eating breakfast the young daughter sat herself down opposite of him. The first minute she was just staring, it was after a while becoming something of a nuisance. ¡°Sorry but could you stop staring at me?¡± Honem said as he was slightly annoyed ¡°Mr Honem, my name is Julia¡± She couldn¡¯t help smiling as she introduced herself. The handsome face was nothing to snort about but the air around the Honem was what had made her intrigued. ¡°Nice to meet you¡± ¡°Mr Honem, who are you?¡± ¡°Who am I? Well, I am Honem. But I guess that don¡¯t suffice as an answer. I am a traveller I guess¡± Honem didn¡¯t really know what to say. If he said I am Honem Bhazi emperor and founder of Bhazi Empire, the situation might get a little weird. The Bhazi Empire probably had another emperor by now also. ¡°A traveller hum, where you from?¡± This inn was the local meeting point for everyone passing through the region. Therefore meeting a traveller was by no means weird. ¡°Bhazi Empire¡± Hopefully it still exist, right? ¡°Bhazi Empire, the north I see. Then you have travelled quite far¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help getting rather confused. Bhazi Empire the north? Bhazi Empire covered moth of the west and east also? Then have my empire declined? Well without me there would certainly be decline. You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author. ¡°But how could you have travelled so far without cultivating any Ki?¡± Wait what? I am the third level of Spirit Profound Realm, she is at the first. Why can¡¯t she feel my cultivation? ¡°Or are you already in the Nascent Profound Realm?¡± Julia couldn¡¯t help feeling rather excited. Would she really have the change of meeting someone of the Nascent Profound Realm in this small town? Not only that, this man was not even in his twenties. Such a genius was certainly special. Julia couldn¡¯t feel this man cultivation, therefore there could only be two explanations. The first one he was a cripple and had the inability to cultivate any Ki or that he was in a higher realm and could therefore deliberately hide his Ki from someone in a lower realm. ¡°How long has the Bhazi Empire existed for?¡± Honem felt rather complicated at the moment. He didn¡¯t feel like lying, but how could he explain that he was actually at the third level of the Spirit Profound Realm? If she couldn¡¯t feel it maybe there is something wrong with me? I don¡¯t know. ¡°Ewh, so you are a cripple¡± Julia¡¯s expression of disappointment was clear as day as she said that. This man was currently too young for the Nascent Profound Realm so it had to be the only explanation. ¡°Well let¡¯s not talk about it. The Bhazi Empire hum, why do you ask me when it¡¯s where you are from? You are kind of weird¡± Julia couldn¡¯t help but laugh a bit from this rather strange question. ¡°I think it has existed for maybe ten thousand years? Or at least something close to that¡± ¡°WAIT what, ten thousand freaking year. I have been in that cave for ten thousand freaking years. Really¡¡.¡± Honem thought to himself as he was lost in thought. ¡°Well I have to get back to work. Come and see me some more okay?¡± Julia felt like she had uncovered some of the mystery behind Honem, satisfied she continued working. As she left Honem was still deep in thought. ¡°Ten thousand years and my empire still stand? How is that possible? I only had some few Heavenly Profound Expert following me but the other empires had numerous. I was what made up that unbalance. My strength and might was what lead us to victory. One most understand that the war in Sun Continent was fought by experts. The difference between someone in the Nascent Profound Realm and Heavenly Profound Realm was like heaven and earth. One Heavenly Profound Expert could wipe out numerous experts of lower realms and many empires therefore sought after them. ¡°Something intriguing must have happened when I was gone¡± As the day passed Honem just locked himself inside his room grumbling over the menacing problems. But as the day went further he came no closer to the truth. ¡°I am not hungry but the taste of food really is compelling. I guess I¡¯ll use the rest of the coins to get me some dinner¡± As Honem went down stairs he could hear and see the bustling atmosphere of the tavern. Inns were without any doubt at their prime during evening time. Over fifty people were seated across numerous tables; the cute and curious Julia was running around trying to cope with the numerous orders. As Honem walked down he caught the stares of several people, his appearance was just too strange for the village man. ¡°Excuse me; could I buy you a drink?¡± A female sitting close to the stair couldn¡¯t contain her intruigance. ¡°Why?¡± Honem hadn¡¯t experienced similar situations in thousands of years and had therefor lost the social knowledge. ¡°Eh, I don¡¯t know.¡± The women answered as she was getting redder by the minute. ¡°Come back to me when you have your answer¡± Honem didn¡¯t understand and didn¡¯t feel like being in some debt situation. Honem walked on and took a seat at the very corner of the inn. Almost like some magic happened Julia appeared ready to take Honem¡¯s order. ¡°Honem, you want something?¡± ¡°A meal please¡± ¡°Okay be right back, oh and the drink is on me¡± Julia showed her brightest of smile as she said that. ¡°Why?¡± Honem once again did not understand. ¡°Ehm, because I want to?¡± Julia said a bit doubtful ¡°Oh, Okay, thank you!¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help smiling. Slightly blushing Julia once again ran off. Honem sat there drinking and eating. As the night progressed the alcohol gave courage to the weak. Women came asking to join the mysterious Honem all through the evening but were met with a simple response ¡°Why?¡± That phrase was for many very deadly. ¡°Hey, who do you think you are?!¡± A man about thirty in age had approached with a rather annoyed face. The rather intoxicated was currently wearing a purple robe with a clear text on it, Purple Giant School. Honem didn¡¯t know what to answer so he just kept quiet for the time being. Saying what do you mean might enrage the man further. Suddenly three people stationed at the intoxicated man¡¯s table rose to their feet. All of them also rather annoyed. ¡°Hey, why don¡¯t you answer big brother?¡± ¡°Kid, you better answer him before he hurts you¡± ¡°You think Purple Giant School is for show? Kneel and big brother might forgive your ignorance!¡± ¡°Maybe he is mute? So he can¡¯t speak and have no cultivation what so ever. Why don¡¯t you just end your meaningless existence?¡± The Purple Giant School man was getting angrier by the minute. ¡°Hey leave him be!¡± Julia came running shouting with a concerned expression. ¡°My senior here is of the Purple Giant School, do you know what that means? Don¡¯t interfere¡± One of the three people from the purple robed table shouted. Julia shout had quieted down the inn. Complete silence. No body dared to speak. Purple Giant School, what Is that? Was everything that went through Honem¡¯s mind. ¡°Get out of my inn!¡± Julia shouted with all her might. It wasn¡¯t until now that the purple robed man diverted his gaze from Honem. He stared straight at the tavern girl Julia with an angry expression. Before anyone could speak up the ugly old father came rushing out from the kitchen. ¡°Julia! These are not people you could offend¡± he said as he took her and swiped her aside. ¡°Please, Master Kolel forgive the ignorance of my daughter. In honor of our acquaintance could you at least take this outside¡± The purple robbed man couldn¡¯t help smirking slightly ¡°In the honor of our acquaintance I will take this outside, offend me again and I won¡¯t be as lenient¡± ¡°Thank you, Master Kolel¡± The father said as he bowed his deepest of bows. Kolel turned around and face Honem with a rather annoyed face. ¡°Follow me outside¡± Honem nodded and followed the purple robed man outside. The people of the inn actually followed along. They knew that this mysterious yet handsome man would most likely lose his life but couldn¡¯t restrain themselves from watching it. ¡°What a poor young man, why did he have to offend master Kolel at such a young age¡± Most of the inn people were both sad and disappointed but what could they do. Master Kolel was of the Purple Giant School and was therefore no someone they could afford to offend. A circle of people was made as they watched the two people stand faced against each other. ¡°I can spare your life, if you get on your knees and beg like a dog.¡± Humiliation was worse than death, that¡¯s what many thought. The purple robbed man¡¯s three followers couldn¡¯t help speaking up ¡°Master Kolel is such a merciful man¡± ¡°Yes, merciful against such a pitiful existence¡± ¡°No¡± Honem hadn¡¯t changed his expression one bit since walking outside. ¡°Such a fearless young man, too bad that he will die a young death¡± One of the bystanders said ¡°Very well death it is¡± The purple robbed man couldn¡¯t help but smile as he busted the Spirit Profound Realm Ki in his body. ¡°Such a strong pressure, so this is the fourth level of the Spirit Profound Realm¡± ¡°The young man is dead for sure¡± ¡°Please have mercy on his soul¡± As the Spirit Profound Realm spread out Kolel didn¡¯t hesitate one bit before rushing towards Honem. Second later he appeared before him trusting out a powerful punch against the head hoping it would explode like a balloon. Honem raised his hand in accordance to grab the incoming fist. The strong Spirit Profound Realm fist flew fast as lightning as it connected with Honem¡¯s hand. ¡°He is dead¡± The bystanders screamed as they closed their eyes Chapter 4 - A great enemy Writting is hard. Sidebar: Release speed is slow because I am on vacation, ill pick up the pace once I am home. Writting on an ipad can be painful. Have another chapter in storage but decided its not ready yet, I think Ill post it next time I get internet together with another one. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While everyone held their breath with their eyelids closely shut, the fist released its nerve-racking impact. As the air climaxed at its tenses of moments everyone thought of one word, death. But as people once again regained the courage to open their eyes something very intriguing had occurred. Nothing, absolutely nothing had happened. Everyone imagined blood, blood everywhere. That bone shattering sound that some men had grown accustomed to while wandering this dangerous yet vast world was nowhere to be found. Instead the noble yet mysterious man Honem had simply stopped the impact of the punch. ¡°What?! He actually survived that?¡± ¡°How is that possible?¡± ¡°And look he hasn¡¯t even moved an inch¡± Obviously the bystanders couldn¡¯t believe their eyes. A cripple; meaning someone without any martial Ki foundation whatsoever had as easily as breathing stopped the punch from the mighty discipline of Purple Giant School. The Purple Giant School was in these part¡¯s an overbearing presence. They had single handedly claimed themselves as rulers and this was accomplished with pure martial might. Being a discipline of this mighty school was without any doubt both a privilege and an honor. ¡°This can¡¯t be¡± The purple robed man¡¯s followers could obviously not comprehend the current situation. If by some means this pesky little commoner could defeat their respected peer not only would they lose face among many but also a great deal of influence which came with it Even more surprised was Honem himself. ¡°I knew that I could stop the punch by utilizing my Ki control but to this degree..¡± ¡°I should just be at the third level of the Spirit Profound Realm right? Stopping it to this degree shouldn¡¯t be possible, I think¡± ¡°Hey how could you stop that? You a mere disgusting cripple shouldn¡¯t¡¡± Kolel staggering said as he withdrew his clenched fist. Obviously he was slightly frustrated with the outcome of the previous exchange¡ ¡°Big brother could it be that he is hiding his cultivation?¡± One of Kolel followers said with a rather concerned look. The question was valid, if this person actually was in the Nascent Profound Realm and was hiding his strength then its someone even they couldn¡¯t offend. ¡°Ewh, a filthy commoner a genius? Unlikely¡± ¡°Well there is one way to find out¡± Kolel said as he had smug smile on his face. Instantly the air tensed up as the Ki pressure suddenly raised. Dense Ki circulated around Kolel¡¯s fist as sparkles of small lightning suddenly erupted from under his hands skin. The lightning rumbled as it coiled itself around Kolel lower arm forming a small gauntlet of electrifying destruction. As the lightning almost materialized Kolel smile turned from coy to laughter. ¡°Haha, I¡¯ll let you experience the might of an actual martial technique¡± As the bystanders witnessed the coiling lightning gauntlet the look of surprise once again turned sour. ¡°This time he really is dead, that¡¯s coiling lightning fist. I once saw a man get completely mutilated from its might¡± Shouts of plea continued to rain from the surrounding spectators ¡°Please spare him; he is too young to die¡± ¡°Have mercy¡± Even Julia was down on her knees crying. Words of mercy kept escaping her mouth even if the mouth of a crying woman was hard to interpitate. Losing a hand was one thing but getting completely massacred by martial technique was something else entirely. Begging for mercy was now out of the picture. Kolel took a step forward as he once again took stance to throw out his punch. This time however the air actually howled as his fist extended at lightning fast speed. As the coiling lightning came closer and closer to Honem everybody pictured the horrible outcome that was going to occur. Some of the bystander¡¯s didn¡¯t have to stomach to witness such a brutal and bloodthirsty murder and burrowed there face in their hands. ¡°I can¡¯t take this one head on¡± Was the thought that went through Honem¡¯s mind at that split second before impact. The bystander was rather surprised with the outcome of this endeavor.. as soon as the punch was about to land, Honem¡¯s body suddenly lost balance or at least that was what it appeared to have happened. His body actually fell to his right as the punch was approaching; Honem was using a mighty force even greater than most gods¡¯, gravity. As the crackling thunder fist finally arrived at its intended location, Honem had already escaped out of its bound. ¡°He dodged that?¡± ¡°This boy can¡¯t be normal, I mean just look at him. And those moves, or was it luck?¡± The spectator¡¯s surrounding Honem and the martial artists from the Purple Giant School was getting more and more convinced that this fellow wasn¡¯t normal. The chances of someone without cultivation stopping the punch of someone in the fourth level of the Spirit Profound Realm were miraculously low. The speed of the coiling lightning fist was also extremely terrifying dodging it was a clear testament to ones might. The only doubt that kept popping up in everyone¡¯s mind was the way he executed this dodge, it actually looked more like he was falling. Kolel¡¯s minions also had a bit of concern across their face as they were closely watching the now standing Honem. One of the most cowardly of Kolel¡¯s three followers couldn¡¯t help continuing his warning spree ¡°Big brother I don¡¯t think you should offend this person anymore, or we might not live to see tomorrow¡± Kolel now furious to the point of even trembling couldn¡¯t help turning around ¡°One more word and not only will I kill this disgusting commoner, I will also sever your head¡± These words had a huge impact on the crowd. As soon as those words left his mouth most spectators discussing went dead silent. Kolel was no longer collected as he let out an explosive yet distinctive howl before charging straight at Honem. This man had not only taken his punch but also dodged his ultimate technique. Stolen story; please report.¡°I can¡¯t let this filthy creature disgrace the Purple Giant School any further!¡± Embarrassed to lose any more face he had to act, he had to kill. ¡°Die!¡± Kolel howled as he released a fury of punches, every single one carrying the strength of the fourth level of the Spirit Profound Realm. Honem panicking at this rather unpredicted outburst of anger had no choice but to retreat. Fearing that he would be hit from behind Honem constantly had his eyes on his opponent as he backed away. Dodging one, two, three punches in a split second as he retreated with his utmost of strength. The bystanders hastily moved out of the way with fear of getting caught in the middle. Even if the exchanges were both fast and dangerous nobody could keep their eyes of the battle. Every fist carried great strength as the wind howled in response. ¡°He is actually dodging, this shouldn¡¯t be possible¡± The crowd was dumbstruck. Surprisingly Honem continued to dodge in the most bizarre of ways. Every time everyone thought Kolels fist would connect, Honem actually fell over in a strange but mysterious way. ¡°Using basic dodging movement actually works against some kind of famous martial artist?¡± Utilizing his advanced Ki control in combination with the help of gravity flourished to terrifying effect against his opponent. ¡°This attack pattern.. Has this guy never fought before¡± Honem was rather dumbfound. During his travel across Sun continent he had witnessed and battled hundreds of well-known martial artists but this famous man couldn¡¯t even compare, against anyone. It was like watching a chicken trying to fly, embarrassing. ¡°He is not even predicting my body movement¡± Honem was getting more and more dumbfound and felt it hard to believe that this man was in fact a martial artist at all. Seeing the lightning coiling fist Honem had actually thought that this would be a great and dangerous battle. In Honem¡¯s mind materializing lightning outside the body even to this extent was normally only something people of the later stages the Nascent Profound Realm could accomplish. As soon as he saw the technique he knew he had to be cautious. ¡°But, except for Ki manifestation this guy¡ he might even be worse than our regular guards¡± Honem thought referring to his time in the royal palace. ¡ ¡°WEAK!¡± Honem howled with a straight face as he threw a frontal punch against Kolel¡¯s face. Honem expecting a life or death battle which he had grown accustomed to was, disappointed. As the punch easily connected with Kolel¡¯s yet furious face, the impact made Kolel heroically fly backwards. The scene exploded before everyone¡¯s face as loud and clear as thunder striking earth. The response was complete, utter, silence except from now grunting Kolel. The punch had made considerable damage as blood continued to flow down his now broken and crocked nose. Honem didn¡¯t wait for the moment to catch its breath ¡°Why do you a complete utter beginner have a Ki manifestation technique? Today¡¯s youth are even dumber then I remembered them¡± Honem had without thinking taken the role of some elderly person giving smug but truthful comments regarding the state of the new generation. Well technically he was indeed very old¡ Silence was clutching the very air in its tightest of grips An elderly person wearing rather refined clothing was the first spectator to break the short yet intense moment of silence ¡°Hahahah¡± The old man was laughing, with all his heart. As the old man broke in to laughter some applaud surprisingly manifested itself in the crowd. This person had lectured a pupil of the Purple Giant School in a way that was weird to the utmost. Something this bizarre hadn¡¯t happened in a very long time. As the laughter, frighten looks and applauds continued to ravage within an ever growing cluster of spectators the faces of Kolel and his followers continued to redden. This tiny unimportant village was laughing and applauding against the mighty disciplines of the terrifying and overbearing Purple Giant School. Even the slightest insult would normally equal execution something that the common man wouldn¡¯t even blink an eye over. Honem face though was even redder. ¡°How does one usually react in these situations?¡± Being stuck in a prison for thousands of years had taking quite a toll on his social abilities. ¡°This is embarrassing, should I just sneak away?¡± ¡°No, it¡¯s probably better to announce my departure right? Honem was deep in thought pondering his escape. The current situation was not something he felt equipped for. ¡°Good day¡± Honem yelled as he turned around and walked off. Kolel that had now barely gained conciseness was more furious than ever. ¡°What do you mean? Come back here you filthy commoner!¡± Kolel felt in no way defeated ¡°I said good day!¡± Honem wasn¡¯t willing to argue as he rushed off in the distance Luckily Kolel was in no condition to follow him. He continued to scream in fury and agony but to no avail ¡°So you don¡¯t even have the guts to fight fair! You disgusting filth!¡± ¡°Purple Giant School will find you and kill you!¡± Even if the laughter was still around the more mature of the crowd knew that this day, the man under the name of Honem had made a great and dangerous enemy. Clans wherever they are from were not once that forgot or forgave. Kolel was only a low ranked discipline but if a true expert actually gave chase no man could live. As the atmosphere was still comedic, a young and excited female couldn¡¯t help speaking words that should never be spoken ¡°Purple Giant School, haha, such a pathetic bunch¡± The young girl couldn¡¯t help containing her disdain. Purple Giant School disciplines often berated smaller establishments and villages like they were untouchable gods. The laughter actually quieted down in response to this comment ¡°Laughing at a comedic incident is one thing, but cursing the Purple Giant School does she have a death wish?¡± ¡°Owh, you stupid fool¡± her ugly brute of a father said Words of pity left the mouth of several spectators. They knew that laughing here would not directly offend the school, but cursing it out right, was something else entirely. Before the young girl could regret her decision¡. Chapter 5 - The beginning of a journey A plot buildning chapter, hopefully its not 2 boring. Trying a bit more spacing, felt that it let the text breath abit more.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before the young girl could regret her decision something extraordinary happened. As soon as the words ¡°Owh, You stupid fool¡± left the mouth Julia¡¯s brute of a father one of Kolel¡¯s followers exploded in fury. ¡°They actually dare to look down on the Purple Giant School!¡± ¡°Die! Die now!¡± The tall and thin individual usually stationed at Kolel¡¯s right side thought to himself. He was by no means a student of the mighty and overbearing Purple Giant School but he had followed Master Kolel across countless of land. As a reward for being a trustworthy companion he bathed in the envy and power that came with the privilege. Kolel a lenient yet reckless individual had recruited him from small village miles to the north, where he was bred and born in. Kolel someone that had never mistreated him, who had given him power and respect, was currently lying down with gushing blood painting the sandy yet pale streets. Something similar had never occurred, by only speaking the name; Purple Giant School the common man had been too terrified to even lay a hand on his noble master. But now¡ The shame and the pain, was unbearable. Hans, the man in question charged with all his might against the terrified girl. Even if her expression conveyed that she definitely regretted her emotional outburst ¨C Hans didn¡¯t care. Moments later he arrived the length of an arm before Julia, the perfect distance to deliver a quick yet powerful blow. Igniting the power of the third level of the Spirit Profound Realm he released his mightiest of punches. As the brute father realized the intention of the purple robed Hans, he threw himself with all his might in order to cover her body. But It was too late, even if Julia¡¯s brute father appeared to possess the strength of two men, he currently only held the cultivation of the first level of the Spirit Profound Realm and could therefore not make it in time. His eyes clenched to the bounds of producing tears as he watched the clenched fist lay impact on the fragile girl¡¯s body. ¡°Boom¡± The fist actually exploded as it impacted against the unprotected girl. As the deadly fist continued to drill through blood and bones, continues sound of terrifying pain escaped the mouth of the now mutilated Julia. The punch carried such might that it actually penetrated most of her body and was only inches away from actually erupting from the other side. Hans couldn¡¯t help smiling as he witnessed that mysterious red substance quince outwards. As the moment¡¯s progressed Julia¡¯s face turned paler and paler. White, white of the underworld was what was currently depictured on her small yet attractive face. As the white climaxed to its whitest of colors her eyes that was clenching to the light, suddenly went out. ¡°Noooooooooooooo!!!¡± The brute father couldn¡¯t keep his posture as he fell to his knees crying. Despair overtook his very being. ¡°Hahah, that is the result of opposing the mighty Purple Giant School!¡± ¡°Remember this people¡± Hans shouted with a vindictive yet relieved smile on his face. Kolel witnessing the demise of his enemies couldn¡¯t help smiling. That smile of satisfaction didn¡¯t last long though, reminiscing back to the previous events his once happy face turned extremely angry once again. Hans caught the transformation and couldn¡¯t help speaking up to comfort his master ¡°Don¡¯t worry Master Kolel, let¡¯s return to Purple Giant School and explain the situation¡± ¡°I am certain, that filth will experience the pain fullest of deaths¡± Light once again appeared in Kolel¡¯s eyes as a small grin grew among the excruciating pain. ¡°Yes, next time we meet, I will let you experience my pain ten times over!!¡± ¡°Just you watch me!!¡± The young master couldn¡¯t help letting out a small howl before he once again went back fighting that excruciating pain Honem previously had delivered. Even Julia¡¯s brute of a father experienced an epiphany. Pain had already turned into disdain, disdain had turned to hatred but not against the Purple Giant School ¨C that hatred would never blossom. ¡°It all began when that filthy guy came into our life¡± ¡°Yes, Yes, everything is his fault¡± ¡°I tyrel graveheart herby promise that the pain that I currently feel will be returned tenthfold, just you watch, Honem!¡± --------------------- Honem was still walking at an astonishing rate down the narrow yet relatively crowded streets of Laky village. The fragile and poorly decorated stores and residences were soon left behind as he was hastily approaching the north gate. Honem was convinced that the troublesome purple robed youngsters were still close in his heels. The social situation that he was put in was too awkward to experience once again. In concurrence with this event, Honem decided that it was time to leave. Even if he had several night¡¯s left in the small yet charming inn, he didn¡¯t have the courage to return. Since leaving the awkward scene Honem had pondered one daunting question, who is Purple Giant School? As soon as they were mentioned the residence of Laky Village had turned utter terrified. An organization or a name carrying such weight was without a doubt gravely alarming. ¡°I heard someone say that the Purple Giant School taught that lightning technique. Hmm, troublesome, troublesome indeed¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help getting rather astonished by this fact. An organization willingly teaching mighty manifestation technique s to someone as weak as this Kolel was very intriguing, yet dangerous. ¡°Manifestation techniques are usually kept super tight by stingy old masters, but now they actually teach them outright to just about anyone?¡± This fact was above all annoying. Honem had spent over a year getting a single manifestation technique in his previous life. -------------------- ¡°Master, when will you teach me the mighty Flame Dragon Technique?¡± A child not older than fourteen was currently lowering his head against the hardwood floor. In front of him was an old man who was happily chewing on some delicate meat. Even if such a casual event took place, the atmosphere carried unimaginable weight in this wooden dojo. This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. The old man was no other then the mighty Grandmaster Yuko, the master of Flame Dragon Villa and a well-respected expert of the Heavenly Profound Realm. Grandmaster Yuko was a man of integrity and honor while still carrying the mentality and stubbornness of an ox. Never in a hundred years had he accepted a discipline. When the young child in front of him had appeared obviously he was no exception. But by displaying unimaginable talent and undying determination ¨C Master Yuki had finally given in. ¡°Get me some tea first, I am rather thirsty¡± By saying this simple yet offending sentence a strong fire erupted in the eyes of the now starring child. ¡°Master, with all due respect, I have been getting you tea, cleaning your underwear and other menial task for over 6 months now! Please its time!¡± Grandmaster Yuki couldn¡¯t help frustration from escaping from his once serene and calm face. ¡°Nonsense!, these tasks all had grave importance! Once you acknowledge that I might consider teaching you my ultimate technique¡± The child obviously couldn¡¯t accept the fact, ¡°But master !¡± ¡°No buts!, now go get my tea!¡± Grandmaster Yuki said with determination rivaling a dragon --------------------- ¡°That stingy old man¡± ¡°At least he taught me basic techniques in the meantime¡± Honem couldn¡¯t help getting sad from the remising of that once horrible year. Honem continued walking with utmost of haste. Before he knew it he had already passed the threshold of the northern gate. As he continued to walk outside the bounds of the village he heard several sounds erupting from behind. At first he didn¡¯t bother, Honem was too caught up in leaving this rural village far behind. But he couldn¡¯t keep himself from turning around once the sound eventually came into the light ¡°Hey, you! Stop right there!¡± As Honem turned around he caught a glint of an older gentleman around thirty to thirty five years of age. The man was wearing exquisite clothing compare to the norm around here ¨C Fine crafted linen in a black color was covering most of his body and he had what appeared to be a hat sitting atop his peculiar face. His hair that was mostly black with hints of brown was hanging unkempt as it dangled in the wind. He wore a handsome face but was it was clouded since he was currently very out of breath. ¡°Hey, please wait young master! Please!¡± Honem was in a state of panic. Was this man connected to the Purple Giant School? Or was he a sales person? Whatever it was something was off. Honem should have no ties in this world and therefore could only be cautious around people seeking him out. So in response, Honem turned around and ran.. ¡°No!!! Don¡¯t run!¡± ¡°Leave me alone!¡± Honem shouted as he kept on running. ¡°I am not with the Purple Giant School!¡± The gentleman shouted as he was approaching his physical limit ¡°I don¡¯t have any money! Be gone sale person!¡± ¡°I am not a sales person! I swe¡¡± The gentleman had finally lost all strength from exhaustion as he fell to the ground ¡°Victory!¡± Honem yelled in his mind As the distance grew farther and farther Honem couldn¡¯t help turning around. The gentleman that was once rigorous with energy had actually collapsed and was lying face down in the grass. The vast and empty plane gave clear view of the spectacle. Emotions of pity grew with astonishing speed inside Honem¡¯s mind. ¡°I should probably help him, He don¡¯t really seem like a bad person¡± Honem started walking in the direction of the now collapsed and pitiful man. Signs of death were the thought that came to mind as Honem view grew closer and closer. The man wasn¡¯t moving, not even the signs of a man breathing could be seen on the now presumed corpse. But when Honem was finally was standing right beside the man ¨C He jumped up against him with the speed of a thousand rabbits and the determination of a mighty being. As soon as his hands finally caught Honem¡¯s poor clothes ¡°I caught you!!!!¡± ¡°BOOM¡± Honem that was still unprepared released a deadly punch straight to the man¡¯s chest. The man flew backwards at an astonishing speed before once again pluming against the soft grass. ¡°Hey!! Why did you hit me!!¡± The man said as he was clenching in pain ¡°What do you mean!! You attacked me like some crazy man. How would one normally react!¡± ¡°Not punching at least..¡± The man said as tears of anguish streamed down his cheeks ¡°I am sorry but you frightened me!¡± Almost as being struck by lightning the man suddenly flew back on his legs. Wiped his tears away and put on a bright smile¡ ¡°This fellow is weird¡± Was what Honem thought.. But really he wasn¡¯t sure what the norm was.. ¡°All is forgiven if you let me accompany you, Honem!¡± The man kept smiling ¡°Owh, wait, how do you know my name?¡± ¡°After watching you disgrace the Purple Giant School in such a graceful yet beautiful way, I just had to inquire everything there was to know about you!¡± ¡°You saw that?¡± Honem was felt rather awkward regarding the outcome of the whole encounter.. ¡°Yes, it was brilliant, beautiful and powerful. After watching that I just knew I had to accompany you!¡± ¡°Travel with me?, well I guess it¡¯s okay¡± Even if this encounter was both weird and awkward ¨C there was something Honem feared even greater, Loneliness. ¡°Great!, god is actually on my side today!!,My name is Howl please to make your acquaintance!¡± ¡°Owh great Master Honem may I inquire where we are headed?¡± Howl happiness was very apparent as he was almost dancing around.. ¡°Bhazi Empire, So north I guess¡± Howl¡¯s appearance took a grave turn toward serious after hearing those words leaving Honem¡¯s mouth. ¡°That is a very long way, across oceans, over mountains, rivers and planes. With your current strength I don¡¯t think we can make it all the way, Master Honem!¡± Howl paused a moment before a small smug smile escaped his serious expression ¡°Although there might be a solution. Master Honem, have you heard of the Wind Emperor School?¡±
