《LandFall's legacy》 Prologue Life is unfair Or so i was thinking .... My name is Iris, i''m an 18 years old girl who is also the heir of TEKMA CORP, the largest financial group in south asia. My life has been decided before my birth, my decisions obliterated, my concerns ignored, A path dictated by others.... The only escape was the time i spent learning martial art of defense, i was amused because i dedicated all my soul into learning different martial arts... The room was filled with countless weird items that God knows what it does. While i was leisurely walking trough the big storage room, i found my self attracted to a "black box", that upon entering my sight, i couldn''t ignore it. It''s not that meteorites crashs were a rare events, it''s just that carrying a foreign object in the inside was somewhat impossible, after all a meteorite is a natural solid body of a planetary system that passes through the atmosphere of another body and that has not lost all its mass and reaches the surface of the Earth. And what''s more, the dangerousity level is classified as "unknown". Blinded by my curiosity, i oppened the box. They was a spheric blue pearl on the inside, it was emanating a weird divine aura, calming my soul . While i was stretching my hand to touch the pearl, a lab supervisor entered the storage room. Upon seeing me, he started running towards me while shouting. " NO OJOUUU SAAAMAAA!!! DO NOT TOUCH THE ...." And that was the last thing i remembered. Chapter 1 : Meeting with the Fallen God When i woke up and opened my eyes, it was dark. I couldn''t see anything in that darkness. Where is this? Rather¡­what happened? As i was muttering this words, i saw a glimpse of light . The strange thing was that the light seemed to approach my location. Then the light vanished, instead of it a man''s figure appeared in front of me. This man had red eyes, a dark long hair, and a brown skin. He was also wearing an armor covering his body like those medieval warriors (here is the link) The man cracked a smile as he watched me and said something. " Hello there, i didn''t expect a human to respond to my summoning.... well that ain''t bad i guess" What... human? is this guy okay? but then again i didn''t voice my concerns since i thought i was dreaming... " My name is LandFall, i am what you guys call a God! " " WHAAT???? " This time i couldn''t refrain myself from shouting, after all anyone would be surprised if a stranger calls himself a god in front of you, especially if its a dream... Then he continued, " Don''t be surprised, i''ve already seen your culture through your memories while you were sleeping, technically i am what you guys call a Fallen God " " A Fallen God? " " Yes, you are probably thinking that i am either a liar, or someone who can''t be trusted right? " " ....... " " Well i won''t deny that i did some pretty bad things, and i even enjoyed it. However that''s that , i have a reason why i have summoned you in my sealed zone " " A reason?? " I was just beginning to think that he actually didn''t me on purpose, and that was all an unfortunate incident, apparently it wasn''t... Of course i first thought that it was a lucid dream, however as time passed my body felt cold in this dark place, i considered the possibility that this was real. " Yeah, but before that, let me tell you my story... " And thus he began his long monologue and i was forced to listen to him .... Apparently, The world where he came from was called " Itonia". It''s a world where several races co-existed, where magic and knowledge were overflowing. His father and mother the primal gods of Darkness and Light created the heaven''s, a place where he , a "second generation god" and his brothers/sister were living leisurly obeserving the earth. However , several thousand years ago, he became bored (authors note: lol?). He then decided to descend to " Itonia " and started living with a race called " Demons" . With his powers, he quickly dominated this race and united them. He became the first Demon Lord ( also considered the Demon god) . Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. The demon army under his command entamed war against the other races. Faced with this enourmous threat, the races united themselfs under a single banner. But LandFall and his demon army were more powerful than what they initially thought., and they were pushed back . 12 years ago, LandFall fell in love with a human. That woman carried his child and LandFall was very surprised by this news, because God''s body weren''t compatible with other races so why was she pregnant? However before he even began investigating this matter, the gods decided to punish LandFall for his crimes. Since they weren''t allowed to descend to "itonia", they gathered 9 heroes from different races and bestoyed them with a powerful sealing magic. Faced with those powerful foes, LandFall had no choice but accept his fate and was then sealed in this "zone". But before the chains of fate sealed him, he teared up a part of his divine powers and send it to this dimension in hope that someday someone will come here and free him. " ... and that''s the end of it " " ........ so you want me, a human with no magical powers or whatever, to help you escape this caged prison . Is this a joke? No before that, why would i even want to do that?!! " " HAHAHAHA, no of course i don''t expect much from you hahahahahaha..... after all i can free myself from this restraints but that will take quite some time..." " Then what do you want me to do? " " I want to send you to itonia, so that you can protect my child, until he is strong enough to protect himself " " Why would i want to do that? " " My child .... hasn''t done anything wrong . " After all, i didn''t want to return here, i hate my family ! And having to explore a new world with a little brother to protect is a chance i never had in my life . " So what''s gonna happen now? Chapter 2: Valeron Village Upon waking up this time, i had a headache. So i stood up and took a look at my surroundings. It seems LandFall teleported me in some sort of grassland nearby a forest . I also noticed that nearby the place where i was lying, there was a sack. So when i opened it, i found some clothes, a sealed envelope, and a small pouch at the bottom wich contained gold coins. I opened the letter ; " If you are reading this, it means that my teleportation was a success! although there was only a 50% chance that it will fail and that you will die an horribly painful death , it''s still good news ! hahahahaha.... " WHAT?! THAT A**H***!!! He never warned me about the possibility of failure!!!! I maddly clenched my fists for a second, and continued reading... " ... well enough of that. I said i will teleport you the closest possible to my son, he is currently living with my wife Elsa in Valeron village. It''s 2 miles north of your position. If i remember correctly, that woman ....euuh hemm.... my wife was the owner of the guild''s tavern . Anyway just ask some passerby and he will indicate you the way..." wow ... that''s some respect for the woman he loves... " Ah one last thing! Don''t forget to show her the ring i gave you, she will know what to do after that. Well good luck! Ps: You are a very charming young woman so don''t try to seduce my son. After walking 10 miles to the north, i finally arrived at Valeron Village. That liar... 2 miles? i shouldn''t have trusted his words back then ... At the village''s gate, i came across two gards. One of the gards noticed me , he then raised his hallebarde towards me and said with a loud voice. " HALT. I don''t recognize you, who are you? " Tsss... and here i thought that i would blend with those people entering .... I replied with a joyful expression " Hello mister, i''m an adventurer who came from the south. " For an instant, he carefully inspected my figure, and then said " hmm, you look like a frail girl to me ... why do you want to enter this village? As i walked in the narrow road, masses of people were passing by, most of them went to the market place. Since i wasn''t pressed or anything like that, i went there to take a look. Suddenly i hear loud voices in the air In the lively crowd, a shop owner shouted loudly in an attempt to attract customers. Elderly housewives and merchants haggled over the price of fresh ingredients and items. " Orc''s Skin For Sale!!! 200 silver coins each!!! " " i want 2 skins! " " Hey look there ! that guy is selling the blue rose petal ! " " Blue rose Petal! good for making intermediate potions!! 1 gold coin each!! ..... Leasurly walking through the crowd, i directed my attention to some vegetables in a stand. I asked the old seller with a sweet voice. " Hey mister, how much for these vegetables? " " 30 silver coins per unit for cabbage , 45 silver coins per gram for the onions..... etc " " I''ll take this ......... and that please " I then took 1 gold coin out of my pouch and gave it to him. " Here is your change young lady " I put the silver coins in my pouch and the vegetables in my sack , then i went to exit this crowded place.
After some detours, i asked a villager the direction to the tavern''s guild. He kindly showed me the way, and then left. As i was opening the door, i heard some fight sound inside..... " You damnable kid ! I''m gonna punch that face of yours today until you wish that you weren''t born ! " " Quit boasting old man ! you''ll have to catch me if you can hahahaha ....." Chapter 3: The Mother And The Son Shortly after, i walked up 3 steps, opened the double doors with both hands and entered. Almost all the windows were closed, clearly the amount of light emanating from the chandeliere was not enough. The interior was spacious; the first floor was the dining area with a counter. One cabinet were placed behind the counter, with a few dozen wine bottles and beers on it. The door next to the counter probably led into the kitchen, where a good smell was leaking. At the corner of the dining area was a stairway leading to the 2nd floor. If my guess was correct, the 2nd floor was probably for the guestrooms. Most of the clients were adventurers, and the atmosphere didn''t feel hostile at all. Everyone was looking at the middle aged man chasing after a kid ; they were amused by this scene. " Damn kid! Hold still ! " " No way, why would i want to be beaten by that ?! " As the middle aged man was swinging his club, and the kid evading , i ignored them i walked to the counter. Then suddenly, the seemingly woman with blue hair and green eyes who was at the other side of the counter serving the customers, shouted towards the boy. " MIRZA! STOP BOTHERING MR. FALAN! " The boy and the middle aged man stopped running at once " but... mom.... " " No buts! Come here immediatly and go serve this dishes to those tables at the corner! " Then immediatly the little boy went to the counter with a sorrowful expression on his face. " Mr. Falan, please excuse my son''s disrespect earlier ... " The man blushed while lowering his eyesights, and then said with a sweet voice " Oh don''t worry Ma''am , i also took this matter too far . " " Thank you sir. Jeez that boy ....." as she kept mumbling while wiping the wine glass in her hands. While i was sitting at the bar she approached me from the side and said. " Yes? what can i do for you miss ? " Convinced that it was her, i took off the ring in my right hand and showed it to her. " She grabbed my hand and forcefully took me with her to the cabinet behind the counter.

Chapter 4 : A New Family A voice echoed in the house " Iris-chan , Dinner is ready ! " (Elsa) I replied while exiting my bedroom in a hurry " Yes, I''m coming !! " As i went down the stairs, i smelled a sweet aroma emanating from the food on the table . Swallowing my saliva, i sat down on the chair next to Mirza who was also captivated by the smell and kept drooling on the table. Then Elsa came from the kitchen while carrying a large pot. She then said with a bright smile on her face " hehe.... it''s ready, i hope that you will like this" " Whaaaah!!! It smells gooood! " Mirza replied " It''s all thanks to Iris-chan recipe " Elsa laughed calmly I sighed and said with a low voice " No miss Els.. " Then a chill ran through my body, miss Elsa was glaring at me furiously. Then i corrected myself quickly "euh i mean Mom. Altough the recipe is good, you have a great talent at cooking. If not, then how was it possible to succeed after just one try !" Facing my praise, she blushed and became embarassed, or was it me calling her "mom" ? Anyway, she then opened the pot, the steam disapered in the thin air. It was a "chicken curry with vegetables" , the recipe wasn''t hard to make since all the ingredients were available in itonia, the trick part was how to cook it since ovens , refrigerators, and electric equipments didn''t exist. However, that was all resolved by the use of "magic". Magic was used in their daily lives , it was divided into different categories: Fire/wind/water/earth/Light/Darkness/Forbidden magic. Most of the races could use magic, even humans. But the affinity differs from a person to another. Everyone could learn any type of magic as long as they have mana in their body, and if they learned the basic spells. However affinity does exist in this world, if a person has an affinity to wind element for example, it was much easier to learn this element than the others. Elsa had an affinity to fire magic, so she was able to stabilise the temperature of the pot during the cooking process with her magic stones. " Ah, it tastes good... " Mirza said while gulping " Well then, let''s begin eating ! " (Elsa) And then we began enjoying our dinner in silence .... After the dinner, while i was lying on the couch, i was reminiscing about this past few days, when i was sleeping under their roof, eating with them, chatting, playing tag with Mirza (author''s note: oh ? ), learning to do the chores and the laundry from Elsa. I was considering Mirza and Elsa like a family to me, a family i never had. I was thankful to God (no, not that fallen god) for letting me escape the destiny that i was faited to have on earth. 5 days ago: When miss Elsa proposed to me to live with her and Mirza, i was at first reluctant to say yes. After all i didn''t really like to depend on others, also miss Elsa was the type of person who was kind and honest and considerably softhearted to her kid Mirza. But then after the first day living with them , i got accustomed to their life style. I even proposed myself to help miss Elsa who did not refuse and even taught me how to do laundry. When i was an ojou-sama of a rich family, naturally the servants were the ones who were responsable for the chores. But right now, i''m just a normal person . I also need to do my best to help the people who are taking care of me! The place where we were sleeping was a small house who was connected to the tavern from the backside, and wasn''t really visible at first sight from the outside. It was a small house with 2 floors, 2 rooms, a living room, a kitchen, a restroom. Naturally my bed was in the same room as my cute little brother Mirza, on the 2 floor. About Mirza, when his mother annonced to him that from now on, i will be living under their care. He was skeptical. However after a few days with them, i got along with him, and we began chatting and playing together like brothers and sisters, needless to say that when he talked to me he was adressing me as "onee-san" , and i was really happy about this. As for Elsa, she wanted me to stop adressing her as "miss Elsa" and call her " Mom " like Mirza. The difference between miss Elsa and i isn''t that great, i was 18 and she was 26. She insisted so that i call her "Mom" from now on, but i''m still unable to get used to it... I accompanied time to time miss Elsa "Mom" to the market place on her free days when the tavern was closed . We bought meat and vegetables, also some wine and some magic stones. After that, i continued to ask her different questions to learn and to get accustomed to this world . But after sometime, she gave me a simple reply: "Iris-chan , i don''t think i can answer all your questions. Even i , am not knowledgeable about everything. However, you should go search the answers yourself one day in the library , there you will understand more about this world" i replied with a small disappointement in my face "The library.... " It''s not that i never thought of that possibility, it''s just that i don''t know how to read and write, so i would need time to learn how to before going there. After that, we got back to the house, i asked her to let me try cooking a recipe from my world. She was curious, so she accepted, however on one condition, that i will let her try cooking the recipe first. And that led us to the situation right now...

Chapter 5 : Decision After hearing the news from Mirza, i got up quickly from the couch and followed him. We found Elsa "mom" collapsed on the floor in the kitchen, her face was pale and twitching in pain, she was sweating a lot. I told Mirza to go search for a towel and a blanket, he didn''t respond instead he ran and returned as fast as possible. Although from the outside he seemed like a troublesome child who doesn''t care about people , he deeply loved his mother Even me, my heart was throbbing fast when i saw mom lying on the floor, i never experienced something like this before but it didn''t seem enjoyable .... In the meantime, i examined mom. It seems like she got a fever, but i wasn''t sure either, cause in this world, i still lack knowledge about diseases and medical treatments. When Mirza returned, he helped me move her body towards the bedroom "Onee-san... is mom okay?? " Mirza said with a sad expression "Don''t worry... she''s fine... she just need to have some rest..." Even tough i responded like this, i''m still worried about her condition. I don''t think i ever saw symptoms like that in my life either. That night was terribly long. To her surprise, both Mirza and i have been waiting for her to regain consciousness, sitting next to her. She then stared at us , her eyes began to shed tears. Soon after, i looked next to me and a distorted crying face of a child was reflected in my eyes, Mirza. "Moooom!!!" (both of us at the same time) My eyes started to swell up too, and both of us jumped to mom''s bed hugging her with all our might...
The next day, mom regained her health. Apparently she just overworked herself this past few days because of an event in the tavern; some adventurer''s returned after completing a very difficult task. I asked her why didn''t she hire someone to help her, at the very least i could serve the dishes or something like that. She said with a low and timid voice that she didn''t have any money, and that she didn''t want to burden me .... I was both shocked and angered from what she said, after all we are a family! So at night, i wanted to have a talk with her about my future plans... " Yes Iris-chan, what is it that you wanted to talk with me? " (Elsa) I responded with a firm and serious expression: " I want to join the guild and become an adventurer! " (Iris) " .... Is it because of the talk that we had this morning? " (Elsa) " Partially, yes. However it''s also because i lack experience in this world, so i wish to become an adventurer to explore places and learn different things " (Iris) After a long moment of silence, she then replied You might be reading a pirated copy. In the past few days, i also learned some " basic " spells. But what made me flabbergasted was the inside of the room.... Weapons of all different types were stored on a big table in the middle: Axes, swords, greatswords, daggers.... Some of them were even emanating dangerous auras. I began to understand more about her past, she was an adventurer too! And on the wall, hanging there were some "trophies" that she probably collected in her life as an adventurer. The room was not filled with only trophies and weapons, There were also magical items stored there. Originally i tought that this room was a wine cellar, but this was an armory ! Watching me with my jaw dropped, mom smirked and then said: " These things are the fruit of my years as an adventurer, this brings a lot of memories... " (Elsa) " Mom, i had my suspicions before. So you really were an adventurer? " (Iris) " Yes, i was an member of an "S" rank team in my younger days, the team''s name was : Blue Moon Shadows. " (Elsa) I was really amazed , but at the same time it was hard to believe that such a gentle person was in fact a top adventurer. ¡°Ha... You¡¯re not doubting my words are you?¡± Mom smiled and said as she looked at my face which was full of suspicion. " Well never mind that, if you still want to become an adventurer take this letter and give it to the guildmaster.
