《The Elder Vampire》 A mean glint Hello everyone, first fanfiction here, you are welcome to point out any and all small grammatical mistakes, but if they don¡¯t directly confuse you, just ignore them. And story wise tell me if there are any holes you can see. ¡°Aaaaaaaaaaaah¡± a woman¡¯s voice rang down the street. A crowd gathered around where the woman¡¯s scream was heard. Akagi pushed his way through the crowd to see what was going on. There was a woman clinging to a tanned man with obviously fake blond hair, Akagi could finally see what was causing the commotion, and he could hardly believe who it was. Four times world champion in karate, Kran Thomas the humanoid typhoon. Akagi could hardly believe his eyes and had to actually pinch himself to bring himself back to reality. ¡®But what is he doing here?¡¯ Akagi thought to himself. But then he remembered that Kran¡¯s master lives up at the temple near this city. ¡®Oh that explains what he is doing here, but why is he being confronted? And why was the woman hiding behind blondie here as if she wants to be protected?¡¯ ¡°Hey, apologize you bastard!¡± the blond man spoke up, tension rising in the air. Everyone turned to look at the person in question, a short bald man at a height of only 160cm, looking more like a child with his height than a man whose fists are recognized as lethal weapons. Of course, no one would ever think of him as such, the reason why is because the man was, simply put, only muscles, and there wasn¡¯t an inch of his body that had an ounce of excessive fat. His karate GI (name for karate uniform) was torn of at the arms and his chest was exposed, looking like it would tear his uniform with slightest movement. But of course that wasn¡¯t what scared the woman, it was the long scar on the man¡¯s face. From the left of his face to the right, and his eyes that had a certain glint in them, that spoke of violence. Simply put he looked like a thug you wouldn¡¯t want to find in a shady alley. Finally the man decided to speak up. ¡°I apologize madam, are you alright?¡± he said in a husky voice but polite tone. Everyone in the crowd just froze, they were shocked, some even put their fingers in their ears to check if they were blocked and they heard wrong. The man then just strolled away, and everyone opened a path for him to walk through. Akagi later found out that the woman accidently bumped into Kran when she was walking down the street and was simply surprised when she saw his appearance. << change in perspective>> ¡®Aah, it happened again.¡¯ this was the third time it happened today. I guess it¡¯s just natural, seeing as how I look more like a thug than an intellectual anime enthusiast. Despite my looks, which I was told were scary on more than one occasion, I am actually more of a thought oriented person rather than a violence oriented one. Although the reason for that was not because of my own design, but my master¡¯s, who has drilled it into my mind to always be calm and analytical rather than impulsive and thoughtless. Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. Despite my looks I was actually no more than 23 years old, but the scar on my face, which I got one time when I was fighting a bear (yes you heard me right a bear) in one of my numerous torture, errr I mean training sessions, and my head which was sadly naturally bald made me look older. That old master of mine really was crazy, but despite what I say about him, I will always be grateful to him. I call him ¡®master¡¯ but that is actually more out of habit than anything else. He is actually my adoptive father, I was an orphan so he adopted me when I was 8 years old, and ever since he trained me in karate. It was already night and I was almost on the stairs that lead to the temple when I finally noticed something was strange. I heard faint muffled sounds, I couldn¡¯t determine their source, but I made up with that through focusing my Ki (life force) on my ears. It is actually something my master has taught me to utilize better. I say better because all martial artists use their Ki to various degrees, and that in turn determines their level of skill in their respective martial arts. I could hear it better now and I followed the sounds to an alley. A sense of foreboding came over me but I ignored it and continued on. Once I came around the corner I was surprised to see two masked men one pointing a gun towards a couple who were looking around their bags trying to find something valuable to hand over to the two muggers. ¡®Cowards¡¯ I thought to myself as I quietly but quickly snuck up behind the one closer to me. I quickly disarmed him, breaking his wrist in the process, and quickly kicked the other mugger. I gave the first one an uppercut, quickly followed by a shoulder throw, the combination knocked him out cold, but I didn¡¯t wait to see as I have already moved to attack the other one who was trying to find his gun in the dark alley way. I kicked him in the stomach, and once he rolled over I punched him lightly on the chin (lightly is relative though because I seem to have broken his jaw and his ribcage). ¡°Are you alright?¡± I asked the couple calmly, my breathing not even disturbed in the slightest. Man and woman: ¡°THERE WAS A THIRD!¡± But I didn¡¯t hear them because of the loud gunshot and I fell to the ground. I was puzzled as to what just happened, not even in this situation did I panic, because I knew it was useless. I have been shot, the third mugger must have snuck up behind me and picked up the gun. It seems he was surprised or shocked about what he did, so he ran deeper into the alley, and the couple tried to help but I knew it was too late. The shot was too close to my heart. Little by little my mind was slipping into darkness. ¡®Ugh, it¡¯s so hard to keep my eyes open, I wanted to at least see the old ma¡ no, father, once more.¡¯ I closed my eyes knowing I will never open them again. [edited by zahramiik] chapter 1: tomb break hey guys, new chapter, it seems a little long so i will try not to make them soo talkish , but i am just trying to get as much details as possible. ask any and all quetions you have below, and plz tell me if you see anything wrong with the chapter, ignore small grammatical mistakes but tell me about the ones that confuse you. I took a huge gasp of air and opened my eyes. It was pitch black I couldn''t see anything and the air was somewhat musty and old, like it has been used too many times. ¡®Am i still alive?¡¯ no, it¡¯s not possible, that shot killed me i am sure of it. Not even master¡¯s pressure point healing could have helped me then. then why am i alive? How come my chest feels so heavy? I suddenly realized I couldn¡¯t feel the rest of my arms or legs. I took a deep breath in and let it go. I started focusing my awareness at the top of my head moving down, I tensed every muscle along the way and then relaxed it. this helped me get back feeling in my hands and I could slightly move my fingers now. I did the same until i reached all the way down to my feet, and my toes twitched slightly in response. ¡®Oh good, I am not paralyzed.¡¯ I thought to myself, but hmm, I don¡¯t remember my body being this long. From the top of my head all the way to the soles of my feet it took me longer to feel my body out than it usually did. And why is my chest so heavy damn it! I start doing the same exercise again, but this time I get more feeling back in my body. I do this again and again. Finally I can move my arm. I feel like I am on my back right now, but that does not explain why the room is so dark, and the air so heavy. I move my left hand slightly to the left and I was met with a wall. I did the same thing with my right hand, with the same result. ¡®Ok, from this I can conclude I am in some closed space, but why?¡¯ this is most certainly not the hospital. I finally move my hand above and I can feel my chest being squeezed. I momentarily froze. It was not the same hard feeling I got from my chest when I was training at the gym. No, this was¡...soft. I move my hand to where my chest supposedly is and am stopped by a jelly-like feeling. I move my hands a bit, and that is when I finally get feeling in that area as well. ¡®WHAT THE HELL?¡¯ I curse silently in my mind. Wait, there is actually something that has been bothering me for a while now, even more so than my chest. I moved my left hand slowly down my body, and I froze again. ¡®IT ISN¡¯T THERE!¡¯ I breathed in as deeply as I could and screamed. ¡§AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!¡§ I immediately stop, as I have in those few moments almost made my eardrums rupture. That is not the only reason. What I was expecting to come out as a manly roar of rage came out instead as a shrill, high pitched, scream: the one i knew oh so well from before, that a woman only made when terrified. (mainly of me) ¡®Calm down, I can¡¯t lose my cool here, master would be really disappointed if I d..¡¯ I stop myself before I continue that thought because I know whatever this was, that I had already died. I am sure of it. I felt my life slipping between my hands, my mind slowly blacking out. BREATHE, I can¡¯t think back on what has already happened. I must look ahead. Master didn¡¯t train me all those years to lose my wits just because¡¡ certain parts were missing. That was really silly of me. It is not as if i had any attachments to being a man anyway, but it was just the absence of something I had been born with that terrified me. I have never been overly familiar with the opposite gender, because of training and my appearance, but I know there is really no difference between a man and a woman except their bodies. having said that I prefer women though. That aside, I must analyze the situation I am in. I must lay out the facts. First of all, I died. Second of all, it seems I am alive again, but this time in a different body. Judging by my scream earlier, I seem to be in some sort of enclosed space. ¡®argh, damn it! I shouldn¡¯t have screamed! My ears are still ringing.¡¯ I move both of my hands upward again, this time to check if I can find the top of my ¡®coffin¡¯, as that is what it seemed to be. I didn¡¯t have to search long. As I am already feeling the big stone tablet that covered my coffin, I try to move it a little, thinking it is to no avail, but to my surprise it slightly shifted without me having to put too much force into it. I then focus on pushing stone tablet off, and I did, though with allot of dust coming off of it and a loud scraping sound. I cough lightly, though I don¡¯t feel a need to, I just did it more out of habit. I clumsily rose from the coffin, which really seems to have been one, albeit one that is made of solid stone. I look around a little bit trying to determine where I am. I seem to be in some sort of ancient tomb where steps led up to my coffin. I am a little surprised, to say the least. The first question that came to my mind is ¡®Where am I?¡¯ It doesn¡¯t look like any tomb I have ever seen before as my stone coffin is placed at the center of the room with steps leading up to it. Although it was dark, I can see much better now, I wonder why? My legs were shaking slightly and I could hear every simple bone in my body cracking, probably from lack of use. Looking around, I can see that this place was not in use for a long time now. Dust was everywhere and there were spider webs in every corner of the wall. I wonder how long I was in there? It seemed this place was, perhaps, underground? No, judging from the cool air that i am feeling right now, it is not. Despite the changes to my body, I am actually kind of grateful, as it seems I am much taller right now. Everytime I move though, I feel something brushing against my back and shoulders, and I check to see what it was. ¡§HAIR!¡§ I exclaimed happily, but what came out was a weak raspy feminine voice. It sounds pleasant even though it is kinda hard to understand. ¡®Judging from the state of my body and voice, it seems I have been in that coffin for a long time, but why didn¡¯t my body decay without sustenance?¡¯ right after I have that thought, it dawns on me that I am most likely an unusual creature. Of course, the pure white hair is a big giveaway as well. A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. After I finish examining my hair something draws my eyes. Right next to my coffin was a small stone chest, which does not have any key hole for a key to open. I walk over to the chest (more like wobbled over) and lightly touch it¡¯s surface. No sooner had I done that than a dark, reddish energy came pouring out of my hand into the chest. I jumped back and fell to the ground, i felt a little drained but ignored the feeling. Then the chest just opens and nothing else happens. I slowly approach the chest, wary of more surprises, and come to a halt to see what is in it. My mouth forms a slight o-shape at what I see, as it seems whoever built this tomb thought ahead of time for my needs. What I find inside the chest is a simple dagger with a blood-red jewel at the hilt, of a simple design. Nothing special to draw the eye except it¡¯s sharpness and jewel. Master had trained me in all kinds of weapon forms, and I had to maintain them myself, so I knew a good quality dagger when I saw one. Beneath the dagger, there seems to be a simple, pure, snow-white dress with tight sleeves. Seeing the dress reminds me that I am currently butt-naked, so I hurriedly grab it with my left hand and put it on. To my surprise, It fit me perfectly, which again made me think about who prepared these clothes and this dagger. I grab the dagger too, and put it on my waist. The dagger is slightly curved, giving it a menacing aura. This makes me think that it was made for slashing attacks rather than piercing attacks. I abruptly stopped to think about what I have been doing all this time. I have been using my left hand? ¡®But I am right-handed!¡¯ if my primary hand is different in this body, what else is different? no matter where I am, I am sure that I will need to defend myself. I look back at the stone tablet laying beside my coffin and I am still surprised at how this frail looking body of mine could have actually managed to throw that off. Does that mean that I am either insanely strong, or that the tablet was light? I have to check up on that. I walk slowly over to the tablet and tense my back and arm muscles. I then grab the tablet and pick it up. I almost fall back over because of how light it seemed to me. ¡®Now I have to verify it¡¯s weight.¡¯ I let it fall on the ground, and judging by the sound of the impact, it is extremely heavy! ¡®This is just too abnormal, how can my body be this strong?¡¯ I think to myself, but no need to fret about a good thing so I go over to the next item on my list. Muscle memory. I spread my feet and take a basic stance. I placed my right foot in front and moved my left foot back, placing my weight on it. I bring my right arm to the front in a guarded position and draw my left arm back. I swing my hips and bring my left hand forward and my right arm back, and repeat. ¡®As I thought, it feels weird and uncomfortable doing it in this body, not to mention the weight of my chest swaying after I punch makes it hard to balance myself¡¯ Damn it! This is troublesome. I dont know if my strength is the norm around here. If it is, then my martial arts are the only thing that can give me an edge. I need to train this body, correction MY body, so that I can react in emergencies without having to think hard about every step. Having said that, I make a resolution to go through the different katas every morning, starting from the bottom. (A/N see what i am doing there with the new year resolution lol) If my strength really is special to my race, then martial arts can only further enhance that advantage. But strength aside, my body is extremely light, albeit a little stiff and rigid. Nothing a little stretching can¡¯t fix, so I can assume my agility and dodging is even more superior now then it was in my old body. Even though I was world champion of the W.K.F on earth, it was not because of my speed, but rather my strength. My reach was much shorter and I was a lot slower than most of my opponents, but it seems that this body has both of those weaknesses covered. I have to stretch out my body as I am still very rigid from my ¡®hibernation¡¯. Stretching my arms and legs, I feel my muscles starting to warm up again. I then proceed to try and do some basic exercises, starting with push-ups, which I find extremely easy. My hair keeps falling down on my face, and I kind of find it irritating, so I try my hand at a simple braid, which looks really messy, but I am not that much of a girl to care. ¡®Lets move on to the third it¡¡¯ just as I was about to finish that thought, I heard a bestial roar echoing through the tomb. It was very faint but I heard it clearly nonetheless. I walk out through the only door in the room and went into a straight corridor that led outside. Once I was out of the door I took the freshest breath of air i¡¯ve had since this whole situation started and my eyesight is met with a white landscape. I am, or rather the tomb, is located on the side of a mountain. Located at the foot of the mountain, the tomb looks like some greek temple with marble columns lined up outside. I look around trying to see where the sound came from when I finally see it. The whole situation turns out to be an abnormal one for me for three reasons. The first reason being that there was a humanoid over 2.5 metres in height, covered in muscles and white fur with blazing red eyes. In other words it is a yeti. The second reason was how far away I saw it from. It was very far away, and it didn''t seem to notice me.The third reason is that I could hear it better than I could see it. I can hear it¡¯s breath. I put my hands over to my ears and I double-check just to make sure my ears were undamaged. My ears were long and pointy. Wait, long silver hair, snow-white skin, and pointy ears? I am an¡... ¡®ELF?¡¯ chapter 2: jesus on ice first Chapter i actually enjoy writin, finally we are getting to the good stuff, from here on it''s smooth sail for me,, and hopefully you guys will enoy it :) NeXT Chapter expect some explanations , don''t bother With any small grammatical mistakes, but do tell me about ones that confuse you. the plot finally picks up. enjoy! ¡®¡¯ELF?¡¯¡¯ Now I am certain, this is not earth, if it was, the existence of a creature such as myself would have been impossible. ''Wait, if I am an elf does that mean this is some sort of fantasy world'' The last thing I remember was dying, so does that mean I am reincarnated? However, if I was really reincarnated shouldn¡¯t I have been born as a babe first? I shook my head a little seeing the futility of my musings, I l slowly look around me, but there really is not anything to see just a typical snow covered landscape. I go back to observing the yeti. It really is a yeti. Never thought I would see one. Suddenly I notice that the yeti is covered in patches of red, and strangely enough even from this distance I recognized those patches as blood. ¡§Although I do not remember blood ever looking so good before¡§ I croak before being taken into a coughing fit. '' Ah, my throat is so dry, I really need to hydrate myself fast!'' Looking closer at the yeti now I could see that it was acting strangely, it was jerking back and forth, it was as if it was defending against something. ''Or attacking it.'' That is however, none of my business as far as I could tell nothing humanoid could survive in this environment. I go back to my ¡®tomb¡¯ to continue experimenting with my new body. There was something bothering me ever since I got out of my tomb. Even though I have the appearance of a typical elf I do not remember the elves in normal fantasy being so physically strong, they were usually agile and good at magic. At this thought I suddenly stopped. ''Magic eh? Interesting'' I was once again now back to my ¡®room¡¯. I see a spot with no rubble or spider web, and I sit down there. i have already confirmed that I can still use my Ki (A/N ki is lifeforce). Though in all fairness it much purer and stronger now, I also had what felt like a huge amount of it, with this I am sure that I can continue fighting using it in my martial arts for days. However, it is almost useless to me as I am now, my control of it was clumsy at best. ''Another reason why I must train my hand-to-hand combat from now on without exception'' Leaving that aside, I am an elf now, and from the moment I opened my eyes I could feel a strange substance in my body, and since this is what seems to be a fantasy world i could only assume this was the ¡®mana¡¯ that is used for magic. I slowly breathe in, and then out. I start focusing on where I can feel the biggest concentration of mana, and I suddenly feel like I am floating in space where there is a huge ball of blue energy in front of me. ''so this is mana'' I slowly reach out to that energy and channel it into the palm of my palm right hand. ''Hmm, this is going to be my first spell, so of course it has to be¡ a FIREBALL!'' I thought excitedly. At first, I try to channel small amounts of mana into the palm of my hand but nothing significant happens. I begin to channel more of my mana into my hand, but still nothing happens, I continue doing this for quite a while until I finally see a small flicker in the palm of my hind and so I channel as much mana I can to sustain it. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. ¡§wow it is so beautiful¡¯¡¯ I croaked. ''Damn vocal cords'' I let it go after a few second because it was so draining, it took me almost half of my mana just to hold that small candle like flame for about 10 seconds, and this does not bode well at all. but on the bright side I notice that my mana pool is rapidly regenerating which surprised me a little as I thought I had to eat and sleep to get it back, the same as my Ki. ''Cool factor aside, I cannot possibly hope to use that in combat, it was simply too draining and it took too long to use'' I was a little bit disheartened by this so my shoulders dropped a little, as I thought magic would be my greatest asset in this world. No sooner had I thought that then I heard an earth shattering roar. *sigh* ''That yeti is really starting to get on my nerves'' I went outside again, but this time it looked very different. It seemed like the biggest snowstorm I have seen in my entire life Or former life I guess I chuckled lightly, and this time it didn¡¯t sound like a cackle from a ninety year old woman, and actually sounded nice. ''It seems my vocal cords are getting back in gear again'' I decided to venture the storm and head out to the yeti, to check on what was happening, and I shut my eyes tightly and stepped outside. ''Eh?'' I slowly opened my eyes and noticed something weird not a single drop of snow was landing on me or even near me. ''Hmm another mystery to solve'' I thought lightly, As I look for the yeti who is on the same spot as before doing the same jerky moves. I really want to see what kind of creatures there are in this world. I thought excitedly thinking of kind of creatures I would see. I jumped out of the tomb and landed softly on the snow, not even pushing it down a little and I moved quickly to where I saw the yeti, and when I say quickly I mean quickly. I must have been running 23miles/h at that moment, and I did not even feel like I was running at max speed. Plus my breathing didn¡¯t even spike. If I did not know better I would have said I was not even breathing harder than when I was meditating. ''How ironic, my new body really is that of a monster¡¯s now compared to my old one but on the outside it is completely the opposite'' I smiled a bit bitterly. ''It seems true that the age old saying of (you can¡¯t judge a book by its cover) holds true in every world'' I quickly cut the distance between the two of us, and i stop running, it feels just like if i had stopped walking. The blizzard was still going strong, so it gave low visibility, except for of course my eyes, as I have already mentioned not a single flake of snow was dropping on me. I look up again to see the yeti wounded in multiple places now, with more than one axe poking out from its abdomen and huge arms. I also noticed that there were two dark patches near the yeti¡¯s feet. To the other side of the yeti were standing two huge fur clad humans with axes panting heavily. At the moment I arrived there, one of the two men charged the yeti with a battle roar, while the yeti answered it with its own. Chapter 3: Death trance hey guys, sorry for not posting a new chapter for so long, i am just the kind guys who like to think before i start doing any thing, but i realized the way i was thinking the third chapter turned out to be bad (i actually named it ''crappy chapter 3?'') and the second time was a little bit better but not much, finally i tried giving the ''just sit down and write what feels natural'' thingy (after reading chapter 2) and it turned out perfectly,it takes me exactly where i want to go with this story. next chapter i am going to be introducing a lot of characters who are going to be important in future arcs, so heads up. * = actions '' = thoughts ``= talking. all of these i am going to implement next chapter. Ps: i am going to try 4 chapters a week, 3 at least. so without further ado enjoy :) ¡§Time to take my new body out for a spin¡§ I mutter looking at the two charging at each other. ¡§HEY! ¡§ I call out to the man, and the yeti. My voice barely audible over their roars, nonetheless both of them come to a halt and back away lightly obviously feeling wary over the voice that came seemingly out of nowhere. They both finally look over in my direction. *I bet all they can see is a blurry form anyway* I think as I look over to the 2 men who at first have a look of shock on their faces , and the yeti who snarls angrily, his and their eyes looking at me . *maybe not directly* I think as I notice both parties squinting their eyes, over the blizzard. . Speaking of the blizzard it looks like it is finally calming down, and both parties finally see me clearly. The two men were really huge, not in height, but in muscle even from here I could see they were packing some serious muscle, though they were almost a head shorter then Me.*I guess it is only natural elves are typically tall anyway* However, as I take a close look closer at them, they do not really seem like men of the wild, I can clearly see one of them was shaved. He had many scars on his face. The way he held, his axe and his stance were for me clear indications of his experience in combat. While the one who charged the yeti so recklessly, held his axe with two hands rather than one and he looked younger than the other one, he was not shaved but instead sported a stubble. I guess the fur is just there to keep them warm. *I wonder why anyone would be in this desolated snow covered landscape, Heh why AM I in this desolated snow covered landscape is the real question, and More importantly, why am I not feeling cold? It seems freezing out here. Yet another mystery to solve I guess.*. However, unlike me, with my seemingly abnormal body. They seemed to be prepared for this environment. Their weapons clearly indicated they came here prepared, and the furs they were covered in, just further proved that. I would like some clothes myself, seeing as how I am just in my dress right now. . *Not that I ever had much clothing to begin with, I always wore my karate GI. Still I would appreciate some undergarments. I sure have stones for going commando like this.*I laugh loud at that, the irony not escaping me. However, the dress is by no means revealing, I think looking down at the white dress, the sleeves tightly fitting my wrists and the medium neckline only revealing down to my collarbone. The only thing that is bothering me is how the dress is clinging lightly to my hips, though it did not bother me in my run over to the yeti earlier. . *perhaps because of the flexible material?* I jump slightly remembering the situation I am in. The yeti was now glaring at me angrily with red eyes. While the men¡¯s eyes had a look between, surprise, and awe at first, but now after my laughing fit they just looked at me with suspicion and hostility. *Of course an elf with white hair and dress comes out of nowhere and just laughs mysteriously, who would not be suspicious, heck I am suspicious about myself*¡§ I take a deep breath to calm down and to start explaining the situation as fast as possible, *misunderstandings are always to be avoided*, I remind myself. However, before I can even utter a word, the yeti lets out a huge roar, and then it points one of its huge arms at the two men and shoots two black objects. The man who previously charged the yeti is hit squarely in the stomach while the veteran looking one manages to jump to the side but still is hit in the thigh midair. He hits the ground, but luckily, the snow cushions his fall, though I could still hear what sounded like a *THUMP* Then it turns its attention over to me. I grab my dagger from my waist and take it out slowly. Unwrapping the cloth around it, .I cut the cloth from my dress earlier and used it as a replacement sheath. The moment that I have the dagger in my hand, and take a stance. I feel my body slowly emitting some sort of energy, wisps coming out from random places in my body. Like some sort of¡ *Aura* but it feels unlike anything I felt before, I could feel it was a mix between my mana and some energy produced in my own body. *IT IS, the same energy that came out of my hand when i opened the chest* I thought to myself though it does not seems as¡¡. potent, as before. I do not know how i can tell, but it is not the same energy as before, as I remembered the feeling from back then was not mana at all. It seems the dagger is responding to that energy, as I can see the red jewel at the hilt shining slightly. I look up at the yeti now, only to see the terrified look in its eyes, and then something strange happened. It spoke The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. ¡§V?lva¡§ the yeti screams, and I had to hold my sensitive ears so as not to go temporarily deaf again. It then started to shoot a barrage of those black objects at me, and I soon realize it is shooting its claws. The black claws the yeti was shooting were really fast and accurate. However, I had more then gotten enough training at dodging fast objects, thanks to the old man. Little good it did me last time. In this body not only was I a lot lighter and stronger I was also very agile, but I noticed as i dodged the claws left and right that I lacked flexibility. *it is only natural who knows how long this body was in that tomb* *Ok enough of this* I dodge a claw that was meant for my head and dash forward towards the yeti my dagger in my left hand, I come to a halt when I am in range of the yeti, and kick it straight in the belly. It does not do as much damage as I had hoped but the yeti¡¯s eyes open in surprise and it bends over clutching its stomach, its neck now completely exposed. I take the chance and plunge the dagger as deeply as I can into its neck, blood splashing over my face and dress. It lets out a cry of pain and tries to grab me with its huge arms but I take my knife out quickly and do a backflip over its incoming arm. I start to breath heavily, but not because of physical exhaustion no it is what I felt when the blood hit my skin as I embedded my dagger in the yeti¡¯s neck, I felt an intense urge of hunger and thirst. I have not even realized how drained I was since I first came into this body. I feel myself losing control over my body, like a man walking under the desert sun for a week and finally seeing an oasis. I start to rush over to the yeti like a maniac not even thinking twice, and I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my stomach, in my frantic state, I have not even noticed the claw that passed my stomach like a bullet. Looking down all I could see is a hole in my stomach, and my snow-white dress now red from blood. The yeti could not hold its arm up anymore but as I was falling over, I could see the smug expression on its face. Then I fall down to the snow bleeding. *Am I going to die again? Heh should have followed the old man¡¯s advice.* as I finish that thought I feel something within me stir, it felt somewhat like my mana, but different like a sixth sense I never knew I had. I started to focus on that feeling and soon realized it¡¯s running through my whole body, like... Blood. Then I start to use every ounce of strength I have left in me to focus on my blood, and through it, I start to feel this foreign energy clearer. I reach out for it and start to channel it into my wound; I could feel my cells regenerating at a rapid pace, and my wound closing. It takes a few more moments for my wound to heal fully, but I start to feel the drained feeling I have been having since I have opened the chest, only a hundred times worse now, I am having more difficulty blinking my eyes. Fatigue assaults my body, and I recognize it as the same one I had felt moments before I died. My eye lids feel like led, but I know if I close them, I will never open them again. I push myself slowly off the ground. Standing on wobbly legs, I try look around to find where the yeti is, but my eyes are so blurry. Being punched in the face could not even compare to the dizziness. But I have to keep walking forward. I start tilting from left to right, but I hardly notice it my body feels so far away, as if someone else is walking. I shake my head slowly and finally start getting some degree of vision back. That is when I see the dam yeti crawling away pathetically. I awkwardly run for it managing to keep my balance with great difficulty. I laugh weakly, this scene reminding me greatly of my master in his nightly ¡®fun sessions¡¯ I reach to where the yeti is. Even though it felt like a mile, it was probably no more than a few meters. Now that I had reached the yeti, I know what to do. I mount the yeti¡¯s back. It tries to throw me off but it was just useless squirming. I reach down with both hands, my right hand grapping the lower part of the yeti¡¯s deformed ear while my left hand grabs his shoulder than I look down at the yeti¡¯s neck and instinctively know where I can find this its jugular vein. I start to open my mouth bringing it closer to its neck; the smell of blood filling my nostrils. I open my mouth and feel my canines getting longer, but I have no hesitation I know what I have to do to survive. I sink my canines into the largest vein on the yeti¡¯s neck, and blood starts filling my mouth, I gulp it down without hesitation. The yeti stops squirming after a while but I pay it no heed, and continue to drink, after several mouthfuls of blood I finally feel ¡®full¡¯ even better then I felt when I had woken up. I straighten up slowly, imagining only how flushed my face is in this moment, makes my want to cry. I finally feel awake again, my ¡®death trance¡¯ finally broken. Therefore, I am starting to get some sense of my body back. I start to slowly get feeling in my taste buds and since I had just drank close to a liter of the yeti¡¯s blood at least, that is the first thing I taste. *ARGH! This tastes, this tastes¡..* sorry for not being able to fullfil my promise about the mcs name, i have several options so far. just do not know which willl fit the best. chapter 4: A letter from a friend *looks from under a cover of shame* h-hey guys, long time no see eh? well what can i say, sorry it took so long for the update, but better late then never i guess. i know i said many important charachterS will be introduced in this chapter, but i only managed to get one in. tell me any confusing grammatical mistakes you see, what you think about the story, speculations where it is going to go, and so on. praise is welcome, but so is tough love :) ¡®BLEARGH! That was the most disgusting thing i have ever tasted¡¯ I grimace slightly thinking I have to survive on that crap from now on. ¡®Talking about surviving, it seems i am an elf who drinks blood now¡. in other words a blood elf?¡¯ I really do not know how I feel about that and can I drink all kinds of blood or only yeti blood? I am not sure. If i ever decide to go to a human settlement, will i have to eventually do i have to then feed of other people. Somehow that thought really repulses me, I rather not be dependent on other people. I have already decided to travel the world. My old common sense would have to be discarded at once! I cannot hope to survive in this world if I remain the same. It is only a hypothesis by now but I cannot imagine humans with open arms would welcome a creature like myself. That is if they are even remotely like the humans in my world. ¡®Humans huh? When did I begin seeing myself as anything else than that?¡¯ It is a bit overwhelming what a human could accept if put under the correct conditions. Only yesterday, I was going over to visit my father that I have not seen in a long time, and then I am shot and killed in an alleyway without ever having a family of my own. In addition, today I am not even human anymore or a man for that matter. Well no use sitting here weeping about it, I slowly try to stand up. I then stretch my arms over my head for a bit and bring them down to my toes. Aah I really am feeling better than before now. It seems i have been starving from the moment I woke up. ok i have decided i will try to ¡®feed¡¯ for lack of better word once every week if i can help it. Although i will probably not do that much, because of this disgusting taste. i grimace slightly ¡®i really hope i can eat normal food¡¯. ¡®mhmm!¡¯ i hear low moaning coming from the direction of the fallen men. Oh, I have almost forgotten about them, I hope they are still alive. ``help us! `` I hear a low voice coming from the man who was shot in the leg; he seems to be barely alive as he slowly points his finger at a direction, which I can only assume is south. Before he too feints

¡®WHAT the hell?¡¯ I stare at the blue box that has appeared in front of me for a while. I shake my head lightly and look to the side but it follows me there too. ¡®Oh, it must be one of those game like reincarnations¡¯ I thought excitedly, I read enough Japanese light novels to know the next step now. , hmm it does not look like anything happened. I try to say it again but still nothing happens. *sigh* I was really looking forward to seeing my stats. I move my hand over to the screen and try to press accept, ¡®of course I am going to accept my first quest¡¯ but my hand passes right through. I start to look at the two men, the bald one closer to me then the young one who is a bit further. I come closer to the bald man until I am standing right beside him. ``I guess the humane thing to do now would be to help them regardless of the quest or not. Not that I am really a human`` I mutter lightly before getting the claw out of his thigh and wrapping the wound tightly with a cloth. Then ¡®accept¡¯ lights up and the window disappears, show do not tell I guess. I slowly walk over to the other one, the younger fellow; I lightly put two of my fingers on his neck to check his pulse. ¡®He seems alive for now¡¯ it seems somewhat neat how I have full knowledge of the human body¡¯s blood circulation now. The actual reason behind why aside, it will prove to very useful in the future. While his wound is not major he seems to have bled out allot, I doubt he will survive if he loses any more blood. I am not a doctor, but I have bled enough times to know how to close a wound. I look over at their food sacks and see they have been torn open that must have been what drew the yeti over to them. There is not much of it anyway so I suspect their camp must be close by. Moreover, judging from how they handled the yeti they do not seem to be natives of this place. ¡®Oh well, no use overthinking it¡¯ T think as I grab the man and throw him over my shoulder, he groans lightly, but he just has to endure a little until we reach my tomb. I then walk over to the bald one and instead of throwing him over my other shoulder I just lift him by the scruff of his neck and lift him in front of me like a small pup. If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. ¡®hahaha¡¯ I laugh a little bit loudly, but it just feels awkward because of my elongated ¡®fangs¡¯ .Aren¡¯t they supposed to return to normal after the vampire is finished with drinking blood? ¡®Well whatever¡¯ I think lightly as I check if the bald man can breathe normally. Then I start my walk over to the tomb. I have finally arrived at my tomb, it only took me so long because of balance issues, and some phantom pains where I had my wound before, but I knew it was fully healed, and not a single scratch remained, yet it still felt a little weird. ¡®I wonder about the extent of my self-regeneration. Can I regenerate limbs or even my head?¡¯ I really rather not find out. Whatever the case may be, I almost died regenerating this time, but of course, it was because I was also hungry. ¡®Speaking about hunger what was that?¡¯ One drip of that yeti¡¯s disgusting blood made me lose my mind and attack so recklessly. I realize I have to feed from now on, but I must avoid doing so at all means in a battle, I cannot afford to lose control like that again, because my self-regeneration ability is a last resort. I enter the Greek like tomb and put the bald man by the entrance with his back to the wall while I lay the other one on top of the stone tablet. I sit cross-legged to meditate, but my instincts scream at me to leave the tomb urgently, and as I already know better than not to trust it my instincts, I rush over to the two men, and throw the first one over my shoulder and the other one over the other. I dash out of the tomb as fast as possible and throw myself at the snow. *thump* ¡®ARGH!¡¯ that hurt¡¯ I start to pick myself up from the now solid ground and I look around and notice¡¡ all the snow has smelted. The clouds turned black and ash starts to fall down instead of snow. I look back at the tomb only to see it starting to collapse in itself and in its place, a paper flies down to my hand. It is written in latin-ish letters but it is mostly readable.¡§ Hello there, you probably do not know me but i know you. My name is Hestia, and this letter I am going to be tell you some important things you must keep in mind before you start venturing into this world. I will leave information of this world for you to discover yourself, as i do not want to take the fun of exploring the world away from you Well that is helpful. first, the requests made from you or to you, will be shown to you in blue boxes, like those in light novels. In this world your word may never be broken if you ever take a ¡®quest¡¯ you are expected to finish it, not doing so will have dire consequences for your future, so do not make light of your word Light novels? How does she know about that? This person seems to be from the same world as me. She looks to be telling the truth about quests; I really seemed to have rushed things once I accepted that ¡®quest¡¯. Reading this message made me even more intent on seeing them back to their settlement safely. I cannot decide your enemies for you, but all I can say is trust no one except those you would deem to be your closest allies. You have gained a new extraordinary body and abilities, but while they seem to be spectacular, do not get intoxicated by them, as they are really more of a pain in the ass then anything trust me. The only hint I am going to give you about them both is ¡®blood¡¯ I have already figured that out for myself. So nothing new really. And finally and most importantly, stand proud, be strong and never compromise for anyone or anything. Do whatever you want in this world, take what you want, kill whom you want, nothing may hold you accountable. However, whatever you do, you may never bow down before anything, man king or god! Determine your own fate yourself, and follow the path you made for yourself, until the bitter end, even if it means turning this world upside down. Now I know you really have no reason to trust me or anything I say, I know you want to know why I am helping you, who i am, but all i can say right now is this, there is no one in this world who you can trust more then me. i am your greatest ally and friend, and shall always be Sincerely yours: Hestia the high priestess of the god of fire ¡®¡®For now, I cannot see anything wrong. Therefore, I gladly accept your advice priestess.¡¯¡¯ I mutter solemnly ¡®oh there seems to be more at the end here¡¯ i think, as i look at the bottom of the letter. Ps:RUN!!!!! whew, sorry this was kind of rushed by me so there might be some major mistakes so give me heads up on those. and btw this is a bit spoiler-ish but keep your eyes on Hestia, she is gonna be really important way later on in the story. i hope to get the story to pick up next chapter, but i am just the kind of guy who likes to take things slowly, sorry for that! will do my best :) chapter 5: Name hi guys, we meed once again, i have not updated in a long time and i am sorry about that it is just i got distracted by all the new amazing fanfics, and i could not stop reading -,- well from now on i will try to put up a new chapter or two every weak no matter what the case. perhaps even three sometimes. tell me any gramatical mistakes that confuse you or mispellings. so withouth further ado, Enjoy the new chapter. As soon as I read that, a sense of dread came over me. I ran with the two men on my shoulders at break neck speed, I knew I was injuring the two men further but I had no time to think about it And,I was right to do so because right at the place where I was just standing on a pillar of flames erupted taking the paper with it. Even from where I was now I could feel the heat¡.. I looked to the vague direction of the south where the bald man has pointed at and I start my journey into this new world¡. there is nothing more for me here anymore. As I continued to walk for about half an hour, I noticed that finally, the ash fall stopped and we came out of the dead lands as I had taken to calling them. We have come to what seems like a dense forest of green. The forest was located just outside the ash rain. Looking around I found what seemed to be a tent, most likely used by the two men, I put the two men on two pieces of cloth, and start looking for items that could be useful. I find furs, food water, and a black cloak. ¡®Not really much to do now but to wait for these guys to recover¡¯ I move over into forest to explore the area of the forest surrounding us it won¡¯t do if we are attacked by wild beasts at night, not that they will be out in broad daylight either. As I lightly skimped into the forest I came upon two horses tied to a tree, I assumed they belonged to the two men so I continued to scout the area, and I did not encounter a single animal in the vicinity. Noticing that it was starting to get dark I decided to head back, although my eyes were not bothered by the lack of light and I could see everything as clear as day. ¡®Of course vampires are nocturnal creatures after all¡¯ it would be sure to be a great asset fighting against the creatures that come out at night On the way back to the tent. I pick up dry branches and leafs to start a fire and make some food, I was not feeling hungry at all and I doubt I would need food for a few days, but I am sure either of the men will wake up soon and will need food to recover their strength. Once I came back to the camp, I went over to the bags with food and searched them for anything edible; I stumbled upon some dried fish rolled in some sort of big leaf. I put it over what seemed to be the former place for the campfire. After I put the branches and leafs, I collected inside the circle of stones. I picked up to stones to get a spark, but once I bring them together, both stones become crushed. ¡®Woah to think that such delicate looking hands could hold so much strength, I better be really careful how much force I use on ordinary tasks¡¯. Having decided on that, I decide to try again but this time I use a stick and I gently roll It in my hands trying to get the fire started, and after a few tries I pull it off. A few hours later when it became dark the young man with the stomach wound started waking up, I slowly went over to his side and crouched down. ¡®¡¯h-huh, argh! Where are we? ¡¯¡¯ The man finally managed to get out while grimacing and clutching his stomach in pain. ¡®¡¯ Don¡¯t worry you are safe, you are in your camp right now just inside the forest.¡¯¡¯ I say to him in a gentle tone. ¡®¡¯Wh-who are you?¡¯¡¯ ¡®who am I? good question, I know who I was Kran Thomas, a man, a human, Champion in karate, and adopted son of a great man, but that is not who i am anymore. i am a woman now and a blood elf, my goals are to explore this fantasy world to the fullest and uncover its secrets, to wield powerful magics and perhaps someday adopt a son or a daughter to teach the art of karate just like my father did for me, and to do so i must take up a new name, but i cannot be careless with it because A name is an extension of the person any name won¡¯t do. Looking at my snow white hair and lightly touching my ears, a certain name comes to mind that I read in an old Norse book that perfectly describes me, Alfis ''the immortal elf''. ¡®¡¯I am Alfis, I stumbled upon you and your companion whilst you were fighting the yeti and I took the liberty of saving your lives and bringing you back to your camp.¡¯¡¯ He took a few moments to absorb what I said to him and a few moments later, he speaks up again. ¡®¡¯My name is Hal, thank you for saving our lives¡¯¡¯ he says while attempting to nod his head to indicate his gratitude. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. ¡®¡¯is my friend Ralf alright?¡¯¡¯ he says in a worried tone ¡®¡¯Yes in matter of fact his injury is not as serious as yours is. I did not expect you to wake up so soon¡¯¡¯ I point out. ¡®¡¯ah yes, that¡¯¡¯ he laughs weakly ¡®¡¯it is just my natural regeneration ability as a mage¡¯¡¯ he announces proudly. ¡®Mage? That explains why he wasn¡¯t so good at wielding that axe¡¯ ¡®¡¯ why didn¡¯t you use magic to attack the yeti then?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯yeti?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯oh yah that is what I call that monster¡¯¡¯ shrugging a little can¡¯t expect him to know that now can I? ¡®¡¯oh ya¡. I am a beginner healing mage so I couldn¡¯t really do much¡¯¡¯ he says a bit shyly. ¡®¡¯healing mage? Can you heal your friend then?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯ya please bring him over¡¯¡¯ as he says that I bring the bald gu¡ Ralf over and help Hal sit up. He brings his hand over the wound on Ralf¡¯s leg and his hands start to glow a beautiful green color. ¡®Wow so this is real magic¡¯ I watch in wonder as the wound start closing up ¡®¡¯phew! He will feel weak for a while but he should recover back to full health by this time tomorrow night¡¯¡¯ he says wiping the sweat off his forehead. ¡®¡¯Can¡¯t you just heal yourself too?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯ ah no you would need a ¡®real¡¯ spell to heal myself, even though I said I am a healing mage, it is just that I more or less have a strong affinity to holy magic so I can heal others. I have not really had the chance to learn any spells yet. ¡¯¡¯ He says looking a little bit embarrassed. After Hal eats the fish, he sleeps once again. And I also try to sleep but I do so under a tree in case the dawn of the sun had an unpleasant surprise in store for me. -Next day I was a little bit frustrated because of all the energy I spent trying to sleep, and not succeeding. ¡®I guess it¡¯s only natural for a vampire to be awake at night¡¯. The sun was shining brightly this morning and I was more than a little bit wary of testing my theory at first but fortunately it turns out I had no reason to be. I decided to wake the two men and start our journey to the nearest town or city. I went over to Hal and started waking him up just as I felt the tip of a sword on my back. ¡®¡¯Get away from him Elf!¡¯¡¯ I heard a threatening voice behind me. It was Ralf. ¡®¡¯ I have no reason to harm you or your friend I was just trying to wake him up¡¯¡¯ just as I said that I heard Ralf drawing in air sharply through clenched teeth. I looked back and saw him on the ground grimacing, where did he even get the sword from? ¡®¡¯Excuse me and my friend here elf but I have not realized that the gray lands are now elven territory, please spare our lives and we will be on our way¡¯¡¯ he says while bowing his head deeply. ¡®Heh, he says that now that he is laying on the ground, leaving that aside I wonder if the relationship between elves and humans is tense right now¡¯ no matter I should probably clear this situation, and calm him down. ¡®¡¯There is no need for you to be so scared . It was I who brought you and your friend back to your camp here, after you were injured by the ye¡ monster. My name is Alfis and I am guessing you are Ralf?¡¯¡¯ I told him offering my hand. After hesitating a bit he took it. ¡®¡¯um, how do you know my name?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯ Ah, your friend Hal told me last night when he woke up he was really worried about you¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯ Ah! Good morning Alfis and Ralf. Our traveling companions are surely worried for us, and they are only half a day away, so we would really appreciate your help getting there Alfis.¡¯¡¯ Hal says having just woken up. I decide to take his offer since I did not really have anywhere else to go. And so after retrieving the two horses and the black cloak from the tent I set of on my journey to the south. A/N:hey guys, not much happening here this chapter but finally i got the wheel of fate turning, we learned Alfis''s name and future goals.(which i hope will you guys some insight to his personality) and in the next chapter and the ones that follow we will get more knowledge about the world and it''s people (known people that is hehehege) and interaction between alfis and a few more people so look foward to that :). comment rate and follow if you want, but most importantly COMMENT let me know where you guys think the story will go, your ideas, opinons and so forth. I read all comments so don''t think that you shouldn''t bother to comment because i wont read it anyway. a simple ''thanks for the chapter'' is enough. so go on don''t be shy xD. chapter 6: The Gray land and a new...... A/N: hello guys, as usual long time no see. I changed ¡®gray landS¡¯ as in many , to ¡®gray lanD¡¯ because honestly there is only one of them. To make it easier to see magic spells or skills I will put them up like this Tell me of any big mistakes you see that confuse you completely, or just inconsistencies with earlier parts of the story (pfft! There are like 6 chapter) that you can see. Without further ado, enjoy! (btw I learned the cool line trick to separate the author¡¯s note and the chapter) [hrs] It was a beautiful day. The sun was high in the sky, the occasional cloud passing over us and cooling us with its shadow. I inhaled deeply, and slowly exhaled. ¡®There is nothing quite like fresh air¡¯ I thought to myself Right now, I was on the top of one of the two horses that belonged to Ralf and Hal, while they shared the other one. It was a little bit hard at first and it felt uncomfortable but I got used to it after a while. Of course I had no confidence whatsoever that I could hold on to the horse if it went any faster than a walking pace, so I was clinging to the reins as if my life depended on it. Of course, I was not showing that at all, and was maintaining a calm expression. The reason I was on my very own horse was because I still did not have any shoes on. I was sitting sideways on the horse with both of my feet pointing towards Hal and Ralf¡¯s horse, because sitting normally at the beginning of the journey made me keenly aware of my lack of underwear at the moment. We came out of the forest a while ago and were now on what seemed to be a road, surrounded by trees on both sides. After we got out of the ¡®gray lands¡¯ as Ralf has called them, there was more and more animal life to be found. Currently the whole forest was alive with sounds, the strange cries of exotic birds, the occasional slithering of a snake. Fortunately, we have not stumbled upon anything dangerous, but that did not stop Ralf from looking everywhere at once. ¡®Well not everywhere though¡¯ I thought, as I glanced over to him, for some reason he was avoiding looking over at me, and so was Hal. However, Hal was pointedly doing so, and was not throwing the occasional glance over like Ralf was doing. ¡®Hmm I thought we got along rather well, but I guess that was just me.¡¯ I thought lightly. One thing that I noticed throughout this journey was that there were many things different in changes in my body, besides the obvious ones that I did not notice before. Aside from my five greatly enhanced senses, I had a sixth one, an internal one rather than an external one. We are all, to various degrees aware of what goes on in our bodies, such as expansion and contraction of the lungs, and in case of a stomachache, movements in our belly and so on. But this so called new ¡®sense¡¯ of mine allowed me to feel so much more, I did not feel any sensations of warmth or cold as I used to before, and it was disconcerting at first. But I found out it was not because there was something wrong with me but because my body, was maintaining a constant internal temperature. I quickly disregarded my worries as I thought back to how I was completely fine walking in the blizzard with barely a dress. So I thought of it as more of a blessing than a curse. Of course, this did not mean that I lost my sense of temperature; I could feel the heat of the sun on my face the cool breeze on my hair. It just meant that it did not affect me further than the feeling of that sensation. There was also however, another change, focusing a little I could feel my whole body in constant motion, I could feel static like energy coursing through my veins, being pumped around my body, vitalizing me, making me stronger, faster. It was my blood. And in it I sensed the same power that I had felt previously while fighting the yeti. I found I could somewhat manipulate that energy, just focusing on it I found it going faster and faster, making me feel as if I am about to burst, if I don¡¯t let it out. I tried to focus that energy in my hand. Nothing happened at the beginning, I felt the energy coursing throughout my hand, in my blood but each time I managed to gather more of that energy in my hand and tried to make it overflow out of my palm, like a ball of energy. It managed to balance itself out, and go back to the parts it should have been in originally. Though before it did I felt like I saw small angry red sparks of lightening, but it was so faint that even my enhanced sight could barely pick it out. I took a deep breath to calm myself down, and return my blood circulation to normal. I then peeked a little to my side and saw Hal and even Ralf looking at me curiously, probably wondering why I suddenly started staring so intently at my hand. ¡®¡¯Hal and Ralf, may I ask you a question?¡¯¡¯ They looked at each other and then back to me. ¡®¡¯Yes go ahead, it is the least we could do for our savior, but in return can I ask you a question?¡¯¡¯ surprisingly it was Ralf that spoke up and not Hal. I nodded. ¡®¡¯what were you doing in the gray lands?¡¯¡¯ I asked inquisitively. ¡®¡¯Probably the same thing you were doing, we were taking a look at the weird anomaly that has occurred there¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯Do you mean the snow?¡¯¡¯ I said, taking a wild guess. Ralf nodded. ¡®¡¯ yes. You might already know this but the Gray Land was not always known as such. It is said that it used to be a part of this forest, but three hundred years ago, the ash rain started. No one really knows its purpose, but many suspect that it is a large area effect spell, rather than a natural phenomenon. But no one knows what sort of monstrous entity has the power to supply mana or whatever has been used to cause this spell continuously for three hundred years. Many known researchers have tried to uncover its secrets, but the only known effect the ash has is its concealment effect, from scrying(searching) magic. Many adventurers have also tried to venture into the gray land, but none have returned. Again, some believe it is because there is a large in work there.¡¯¡¯ He paused for a moment, seemingly deep in concentration. ¡®¡¯There really are not any documents, detailing a famous dungeon being located in that area that could have housed some sort of ancient treasure, as far as anyone knows it was just an unremarkable part of the forest. A few days ago, there was an quest that was posted in the adventurer¡¯s guild about going in the gray land and investigating the snow that has started to fall there, and Hal here took the quest even though he is just a bronze ranked adventurer, and dragged me into accompanying him. However, halfway through we lost our way in the snowstorm and we stumbled upon the snow monster. We threw our bags at it in hopes that it may have taken our food and left us alone, since we were badly equipped to battle it in its own terrain, but it didn¡¯t really help much. and then well this happened¡¯¡¯ he said gesturing at his leg, and Hal¡¯s abdomen I was surprised by all the new information I heard about the ¡®gray land¡¯, I was particularly interested in the concealment effect of the ash, but I was not so sure about any as I didn¡¯t have any problem navigating my way out of it. ¡®Could who ever has prepared this dress and dagger for me also made the ash rain?¡¯ I wondered. I thought that most likely Hestia had a clue about this and so I decided the first thing I was going to do once we have reached our destination would be researching about Hestia, the high fire priestess. Ralf brought me out of my thoughts, with his own question. Or more like questions. ¡®¡¯Now my turn. How did you manage to defeat that monster? Or more accurately what magic did you use? I do not see any staff on you. In addition, how could you withstand the cold like that? I don¡¯t see any metal on you that could have been possibly enchanted by a dwarf, with ¡¯¡¯ Ralf said, looking me up and down as if to point it out that I had only a dress and a dagger on me. ¡®¡¯ That is none of your business, I did and I saved your lives that is all that matters¡¯¡¯ I said coldly. ¡®¡¯Of course, and you have our gratitude for that¡¯¡¯ Hal said hastily, but Ralf kept looking at me, and I just returned his gaze. ¡®¡¯ A¡.actually I think we are close to our destination now¡¯¡¯ Hal said trying to change the subject. After that we just remained silent the rest of the way. We finally came upon of band of wagons, carts and caravans on the road with two guards standing at the back, with a pseudo barricade made up of boxes. ¡®I suppose it is meant to hold monsters out¡¯ I thought to myself. The two guards were a fair distance away from us. I assumed them be mercenaries of sort, because of their varying armor. ¡®¡¯HALT!¡¯¡¯ One of the two men called out and slowly with his partner came up to check on us. Their eyes scrunching at us and putting a hand over their eyes trying to shield them from the scorching sun. Although once their eyes saw Ralf and Hal, they lit up. Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. ¡®¡¯ Hal! Ralf!¡¯¡¯ they shouted at once. ¡®¡¯ Hello guys¡¯¡¯ Ralf said, grinning at them. It looked like they were old friends with Ralf, as they immediately hit It off and were asking him how it went. The guards just now looked over at me, and started staring at me with their mouths wide agape. Honestly, I felt a bit embarrassed, I did not like people staring at me so openly, as I was used to people trying to avoid my gaze. Ralf coughed a little, bringing the two guards attention back. ¡®¡¯This is Alfis¡¯¡¯ Ralf said politely. The two guards nodded their heads, looking a bit embarrassed and just let us through. Just as we stepped foot in the semi-circle of wagons a blue message popped up.
quest compelete!
requirements: help the human (Ralf) back to safety rewards: none
¡®Well that was a useless first quest¡¯ I thought to myself, but at least it put me in touch with civilization. Looking around I could see all types of people in those carts and wagons, some young children huddled with their parents, some merchant look-alikes with rich robes and the uniformed guard looming around a certain wagon. ¡®most likely a noble or something¡¯ I thought to myself, but looking around everyone shared the same expression, of worry and some even fear. Aside from their expression I noticed that all the people around me both male and female were¡. Well-looking, beautiful even, and even the older group of people had a ¡®handsome¡¯ appearance, I was yet unaware of how I myself looked. ¡®But judging from all this staring I am guessing it is not too bad¡¯ I thought noticing all the people with a slack-jawed especially the guys looking at me. I tried to ignore this and just put on a stoic expression while looking straightforward. Ralf and Hal made stopped at a wagon with a bald man at the front and a young woman sitting beside him. She looked about 19 or so with reddish gingery hair, and a round cute face with freckles. As soon as she saw us she rushed over to us, while we were dismounting and jumped on Hal, not paying any attention to either me or Ralf, and started crying into his chest. ¡®¡¯Argh¡¯¡¯ Hal had a pained expression, and it was only after a while the girl realized he was injured. ¡®¡¯what happened to you Hal? Are you injured? Where?¡¯¡¯ she asked him a barrage of questions and then turned sharply to Ralf. ¡®¡¯YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HIM!¡¯¡¯ She yelled loudly at him. ¡®¡¯ Gina, I can take care of myself, besides it was my idea to go into the gray land¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯Alright, I was just worried about, I don¡¯t want my future husband to hurt himself¡¯¡¯ she said shyly. I noticed Hal also blushing out of the corner of my eye. ¡®¡¯um excuse me, but who are you¡¯¡¯ Gina said finally noticing me. I saw her eyes quickly darting to my ears, and then my hair, finally settling on my eyes. ¡®¡¯ I am Alfis, and as you can see I am an elf¡¯¡¯ I simply said. ¡®¡¯Yes she saved Ralf¡¯s life and mine when we were injured by some sort of ice creature, a ¡®yeti¡¯ was it what you called it Alfis? She will be going with us on our way back to Ritzwa¡¯¡¯ Hal said. ¡®¡¯Ho, is that so?¡¯¡¯ the big man finally spoke up, he was a tall man with a height of at least 2 meters, with arms that could have been easily mistaken for logs, a shaven head, and a goatee. ¡®Why is everyone so damn fit in this world?¡¯ I thought casting a glance to the people around me, not one of them seemed chubby let alone overweight. ¡®I guess with the existence of magic, and monsters like the yeti, plus it being in an age that could be likened to the middle ages, no one can afford to be in anything than top shape, in case they need to run for their lives¡¯ The bald man spoke up again. ¡®¡¯ Well Alfis thank you for saving my future son in law, name is Hagen, but my friends call me just hag. Pleased to make your acquaintance¡¯¡¯ He said bringing his arm up for handshake. ¡®¡¯ And I yours¡¯¡¯ I said, bringing my right hand forward to shake him firmly. ¡®¡¯ho, quite the handgrip you got there¡¯¡¯ he says glancing over at my seemingly delicate hand. ¡®¡¯So I have been told¡¯¡¯ I smirked Seeing this Hag burst out laughing. ¡®¡¯Haha, well I will be damned, an ELF with something resembling humor, now I have seen it all!¡¯¡¯ ¡®I wonder if it¡¯s something I said¡¯ I wondered confused. ¡¯ Now that we have gotten that aside there has been something that has been bothering me ever since we got here¡¯ ¡®¡¯Hagen what happened here? Why does everyone look so down?¡¯¡¯ Everyone¡¯s face turned tense at that question. ¡®¡¯As you might now right now our kingdom of Areswood is at the border with a barren monster territory. What you might not know though is that recently a volcano erupted there¡¯¡¯ he paused. ¡®¡¯Now usually a normal volcano would not pose a threat at all and would be ignored and even if it could cause any real lasting damage. A specialized quest would be put up for all adventurers who are mages who specialize in water and wind magic , but it is rumored that this specific volcano is the lair of a powerful monster¡¯¡¯ He paused again. ¡®¡¯What monster?¡¯¡¯ I blurted out before I could stop myself. ¡®¡¯ A Dragon. And not just any Dragon, it is a RED DRAGON! In addition to that everybody knows the old saying that says ¡®It is best to let sleeping dragons lie¡¯, so the outcome could be twice as disastrous for all living beings in the immediate vicinity of the volcano, and there is no guarantee it wouldn¡¯t come in further from monster territory. Of course, this could all just be rumor. However, the more concerned people have decided to not risk the wrath of a newly awakened Red Dragon and just moved, while the rest stayed. My daughter and I were moving out anyways because we bought an inn in Ritzwa. ¡¯¡¯ ¡®Whoa A DRAGON!¡¯ I could not believe my ears once I heard that. Truly a fantasy world. I have always fantasized about battling a dragon, and after defeating it riding it across the sky. I unconsciously started swaying from side to side, imagining what the would feel like. I composed myself immediately, before I started getting weird stares. ¡®¡¯ That aside is there anything we can do to repay you Alfis?¡¯¡¯ Hagen said changing the subject. I thought for a bit, but there really was nothing to think about, fantasy world or not there is something I am sorely lacking now, and that is. ¡®¡¯A JOB!¡¯¡¯. [hrs] A/N: IMPORTANT! or at least semi-important writers''s rant. finally over with this chapter. Took me a long time though. Truth be told I have already wrote this chapter before, but because I had to clean my computer I lost the file¡.. AND THANK THE HEAVENS FOR THAT! You have no idea how much better I feel about this chapter, than the last one. And I can honestly say this is my favorite chapter writing, after the fourth one ¡®a letter to a friend¡¯. i have realized that my releasing dates are completely terrible and that is because I have been bombarded with tests lately, and I am just lazy so -,- and although I am writing this mostly for my own enjoyment, I will try to put more effort into it for you guys. in this chapter, i hinted at the ranks of adventurers, the existence of a guild. monsters dragons, and i don''t know if any of you guys noticed, when Ralf said ''mana or whatever type of energy'' meaning the mana is not the only thing that could be used to invoke a spell, take a note of this please. i have seen A LOT, and i do mean A LOT of series that just dump information of continents you will never go to, and magics you will never use, plus races you will never see just for the sake of doing it, so sorry for you guys who like information blocks, i will be uncovering important things as the story goes along because i don''t want to have parts that are not relevant in my stroy just to have them there. And yay I almost crossed the 3000 words threshold, I am GOD! Look out guys, long chapters incoming. Btw, tell me honestly how many of you people are shocked that Alfis is going to get a job? I bet most of you were like ¡®¡¯ but, but, she is a mc! Shouldn¡¯t she go to a dungeon or something and find an infinite gold producing ring or something?¡¯¡¯, well nope, not on my watch. Hehehe. And scrying magic versus searching magic? I feel like, scrying magic sounds better¡.. As always, COMMENT! I would like (emphasis on like) some ratings or some bullcrap like that, but that will not do me much at all, but i would LOVE! (emphasis on LOVE!) some comments. I WANT TO SEE COMMENTS! Be lazy and just say ¡®thanks for the chapter¡¯ or something like that just comment damnit, or else i won''t know who was here. i read all comments, so go on comment :/ Chapter 7: Gina. A/N: well hello guys, long time no see.as you might have guessed i have been having the finals lately, so i did not have time to work on my series, but as you can see it is NOT DROPPED! and you may expect a new chapter every 3 day from now on as well. to all those who waited sorry for the wait. tell me of any plot holes you see, or any parts that confuse you. check out down for my rant. thoughts *action* '''' speech'''' [hrs] Chapter 7: first friend and braids. Hag¡¯s eyes widened a bit and he seemed surprised. ¡®¡¯a job?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯a Job¡¯¡¯ I repeated after him. ¡®¡¯well that certainly can be arranged¡¯¡¯ he said slowly while looking over at his daughter Gina with a questioning look. She nodded. ¡®¡¯ Well as I have already said we are starting this new inn at the town of Ritzwa, and we are certainly lacking on people right now, so we could do with another tavern maid, and Gina is going to need some help with the kitchen, so how about it?¡¯¡¯ Well it certainly did not sound like a bad proposition and beggars cannot be choosers anyway. I nodded ¡®¡¯ I gratefully accept the job. Thank you¡¯¡¯ I said. ¡®¡¯oh!¡¯¡¯ Hag snapped back to me from his daughter. He seemed surprised by my behavior. ¡®¡¯is something the matter?¡¯¡¯ I asked feeling a bit self- conscious. He shrugged a little and rubbed his hand at his head a bit.¡®¡¯ no not at all it is just. Well, how do I say this? Your race are not known for their modesty¡¯¡¯ he said. ¡®¡¯well I am not my race Hag¡¯¡¯ I replied with a bright smile. ¡®¡¯now shall we finalize our deal?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯oh sorry I do not have any documents on hand right now¡¯¡¯ Hag replied. ¡®¡¯ that is not needed, let us shake on it and that will have to do¡¯¡¯ I said brining my hand forth. ¡®¡¯ ah I suppose it will¡¯¡¯ Hag said bringing his hand forth and shaking mine firmly. ¡®¡¯now about the payment¡¯¡¯. I knew this part was coming up, I do not know a single thing about the currency of this world. If I simply accept the first price, he offers I might sound ignorant but if I take the price too high than I come off as a greedy person worsening my working environment. I have to strike a delicate balance here . I decided. ¡®¡¯ well how about one greater silver and eight greater coppers a month? With an advance pay of 1 week¡¯¡¯ he said ¡®¡¯that sounds awfully close to two greater silvers¡¯¡¯ I said with my hand on the imaginary hairs under my chin. Hag crossed his arms ¡®¡¯ it does doesn¡¯t it?¡¯¡¯ he said. We stared into each other¡¯s eyes, neither of us willing to avert theirs first. He shook his head with a grin. ¡®¡¯ two greater silvers it is¡¯¡¯ he said. ¡®¡¯all right then if we are finished here I will be going¡¯¡¯ Ralf who was standing on the sidelines finally spoke up. He started going over to the guards from earlier. ¡®¡¯ I guess we should be going too¡¯¡¯ Gina announced and pulled the seemingly unwilling Hal along. ¡®¡¯ there are some things I should check up on too.¡¯¡¯ Hag announced and moved on. I was standing there alone now. I stared over at the horizon a bit. The sun is starting to set, and I assume we will not set off to Ritzwa before tomorrow Having nothing else to do, I sat down on a rock a bit further away from all the people. I crossed my legs and brought my hands on my lap, in the traditional lotus position. I started focusing on my inner body. I could feel three different type of energy inside me. The first being the blood energy that I used to heal myself, which is focused inside of the blood veins running all over my body. The second was a peculiar energy. It was a cool, slow and steady. It permeated every part of my body. From the nails on my toes, all the way to the hairs on my head. It was not uncomfortable at all; rather it felt like an extension of myself, unlike the strange blood energy. I made a quite observation on how these two energies seemed at their core the same, but their processes felt completely different. The sound of crushing of leaves and twigs brought me out of my meditation. Gina was standing in front of me now with a bowl in her hand, and her eyes on the ground. ¡®¡¯ I am sorry I did not mean to disturb you¡¯¡¯ she said. Gina stretched her hand with bowl out for me. ¡®¡¯I was just going to give you some vegetable soup we have made, since you do not seem to have anything to eat¡¯¡¯ she said. I stood up and took the bowl from her hand, and gave her a smile and nodded. ¡®¡¯it is all right I was almost done anyway, thank you for the food¡¯¡¯ I said. I took the spoon and carefully blew the steam away to cool it down, but I hesitated to eat it, I had no idea what sort of reaction ingestion of anything other than blood can cause in my body. I will not know unless I try . I slowly sniffed the soup. It smelled rather weak. I could not determine the taste by the smell, but I knew it would taste good. I brought the spoon into my mouth and I started tasting the soup. It tasted very bland, although it could have used a little bit more spice, to bring out some taste. Gina was inspecting me closely now, her eyes squinted, and her brows knitted. ¡®¡¯ is something the matter?¡¯¡¯ I said. ¡®¡¯oh!¡¯¡¯ she jumped a little. ¡®¡¯sorry I did not mean to do that, it¡¯s just a habit I have when thinking about something, I get absorbed into and I space out.¡¯¡¯ She said, with her cheeks reddening a little. I leaned forward a bit ¡®¡¯so what were you thinking about¡¯¡¯ I said. She seemed a bit hesitant before she spoke up ¡®¡¯I heard a lot about elves, and I got the image of them being arrogant and self-centered people¡¯¡¯ she said. I brought my hand slowly to my chin, as was my old thinking habit only to find nothing there. I brought my hand down frowning. ¡®¡¯ is that so?¡¯¡¯ I said Her eyes widened a bit, and she shook her head frantically. ¡®¡¯ oh no I didn¡¯t mean it like that at all, you are actually nice and very polite¡¯¡¯ she said oh I think she thought she offended me and made me sad I could not help but chuckle. She stopped and blinked a few times, then she started chuckling as well. ¡®¡¯ you have a very beautiful smile ¡¯¡¯ she said smiling. I felt some heat rising to my cheeks. ¡®¡¯thank you¡¯¡¯ I said. She brought her hand fourth and took a strand on my hair in her hand. ¡®¡¯and your hair is very silky and white, just like a spider¡¯s web¡¯¡¯ she then looked down on her own fiery hair. ¡®¡¯mine is so curly and weird. Nobody in my entire town has the same hair as me¡¯¡¯ she said frowning. I looked at her red hair, and I smiled. ¡®¡¯I think your hair is very beautiful,¡¯¡¯ I said. She could not help but let out a huge grin. ¡®¡¯I think you and I will get along well Alfis¡¯¡¯ she said bringing her hand around my head and giving me a hug. I awkwardly patted her on the back. I was no used to getting hugs, or getting compliments. It felt ¡ nice. *screech* I jumped up looking behind me in the forest, and my eyes started darting everywhere. ¡®¡¯what is it?¡¯¡¯ I said. Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. Gina suddenly brought her hands to her hips and put on a very stern face¡®¡¯ who gave you that awful hair braid?¡¯¡¯ she asked I could not help but wince. that is what surprised her so much. ¡®¡¯ I did it myself.¡¯¡¯ I said looking down. I was a man in my last life, it is not my fault I do not know a thing about braiding hair Her eyes widened, and her mouth hanged open. ¡®¡¯you did¡ THAT?¡¯¡¯ she said. My eyes were looking to the side, I open my mouth slightly and replied ¡®¡¯yes¡¯¡¯ Loud laughter start echoing through the forest. ¡®¡¯ hahaha¡¯¡¯ Gina started laughing, while holding her stomach and crumpling on the ground. I had to wait for a few minutes for her to finish. She finally stood up and straightened out her clothes, and coughed a bit, but I could still her face spasming. ¡®¡¯ I am sorry about that, it is just you give off such a dependable and elegant aura I never thought you would have trouble braiding your hair¡¯¡¯ she chuckled a bit. ¡®¡¯ I guess elves are not all perfect after all¡¯¡¯ she grinned a bit, and nodded her head as if she made a decision about something. ¡®¡¯ come with me.¡¯¡¯ She said, while taking her arm around mine and then she started dragging me into the circle of wagons. She took us beside a campfire with a cauldron, where she sat down on a box and made me sit on her feet with my back turned. She started with straightening my hair and getting rid of the braid. She sat up from the box and sat in front of me. ¡®¡¯ ok Alfis, first I am going to show you how to do this.¡¯¡¯ She said. She brought up her own her hair using it an example and showed me how to braid. Then she turned me over, sat on the box again, and started braiding my hair. We were quiet like that for a while, her braiding a wide portion of my hair from behind and me braiding a few strands across my left shoulder. ¡®¡¯hey Alfis¡¯¡¯ Gina said. I peeked up at her over my left shoulder. ¡®¡¯yes Gina¡¯¡¯ I said. She seemed hesitant about something, opening her mouth and closing it a few times, but then she seemed to have made up her mind and her eyes focused on mine. ¡®Thank you for saving Hal today. He told me about you carrying him and Ralf out of the gray land and saving them from a monster¡¯¡¯ She was quite for a time but then she spoke up again. ¡®¡¯I told him that this mission was too easy. Nobody would put such a huge reward for a simple bronze quest, but he wouldn¡¯t listen to me, you know how men are, he said that he will be all right if Ralf went with him, but you know how that ended up.¡¯¡¯ Her lips started quivering, and her eyes watered ¡®¡¯ if you were not there I don¡¯t- I don¡¯t know what would have happened to him.¡¯¡¯ She started tearing up at the end barely finishing the sentence. I did not know what to do, to help my new friend, but I just could not sit there and see her cry like this, so I turned to her and I reached my right hand over and enveloped her left hand with it, while I used my left hand to wipe off her tears. I gazed into her eyes with a gentle look and I cupped her chin with my hand ¡®¡¯it is all right, he is safe now¡¯¡¯ I smiled. She nodded and started wiping her eyes. ¡®¡¯ thank you Alfis¡¯¡¯ she nodded and smiled back. ¡®¡¯ now turn around and let me finish¡¯¡¯ she said. I nodded glad to see her back to normal. what an honest person, it is rare to meet someone like her in a world where everyone suppresses and hides his or her emotions behind a false smile. A small smile crossed my face . Well at least that is how it was in my old world this is a brand new beginning, a completely new world for me to explore and experience. . As this thought crossed my mind, the small smile transformed into a full-blown grin. The fire started dimming out after a while, and Gina seemed to be just about finished. Gina clapped her hands together with a wide smile on her face signaling her being finished. ¡®¡¯there!¡¯¡¯ she said. I could not help but sigh in relief by the thick vine like braid that I felt on the blades of my shoulders. Now I was certain that it would not come loose no matter what and it will not get in my way while fighting, but the main reason I was relieved is that now I did not need to cut my beautiful hair. ¡®¡¯ thank you very much Gina¡¯¡¯ I said while holding her hands and squeezing them a bit to show my appreciation. She did not answer back quickly so I looked at her a bit confused. ¡®¡¯is something the matter?¡¯¡¯ I said. ¡®¡¯hmm?¡¯¡¯ she saw up at me and shook her head. ¡®¡¯no, not at all I just got distracted a little.¡¯¡¯ She nodded and smiled¡¯¡¯ you are welcome Alfis, say, do you want to sleep in my tent tonight seeing as how you do not have one with you?¡¯¡¯ she said. I stopped breathing for a second, and my whole body froze. Gina tilted her head a little ¡®¡¯is something wrong?¡¯¡¯ she said I shook my head a little. ¡®¡¯no not at all¡¯¡¯ I said. Alright you are a woman now, Kran¡ no Alfis you have to woman up!. I gave her a nod ¡®¡¯yes I would like that very much Gina¡¯¡¯ I said. She took my hand and started leading me inside a small tent on the side of the wagon I have seen her with earlier today. She went inside while I stood outside a bit. She peeked from inside and looked at me ¡®¡¯ hmm, come in¡¯¡¯ she side. It was a small tent with two mattresses beside each other although there really was not any kind of pillow to speak of it sure beat sleeping outside. I could see clearly, but Gina had some trouble orienting herself in the dark so I help her to her mattress. Then I got into my mattress and laid down on my back, and started planning what to do with the night when Gina spoke up. ¡®¡¯ happy dreams Alfis¡¯¡¯ she said. What she said was confusing at first but I decided to go with it anyway. ¡®¡¯ happy dreams Gina¡¯¡¯ I replied. A/N: well some of you might have noticed this but there is a huge style change this chapter, i changed from the usual ''through the window'' perspective into a more immersive style. this came out when i read the Steven king book on how to write better. i found some really good tips and i implemented them. this chapter really doesn''t have much description or narrative but lot of dialogue which i am building myself up in. i have set an average of about 1000 for myself so the average chapter release will be 1 every 3 days! amazing eh? but i felt a bit unsatisfied as a reader with this chapter ( i am my first reader guys, remember that) because after such a long while i would have expected myself to come back with a BOOM (meaning lots of plot development ,intrigue and action) but as a writer i find that i have to build that up so i can''t really do that.... FOR NOW! but once i am done with all this world building ( ok i am lying here, my world building will not be over anytime soon, because there won''t be any info dumps) and setting up some tension and hype, i will hopefully pull off some pretty cool action. anyway for now i might seem a bit slow, but thats just me testing out this new style and getting used to it, so please bear with me. anyway you know what i want... oh you forgot? well ITS COMMENTS! GIVE ME SOME!! Notice: important information about the current state of the series. well hello everyone. ladies and gentlemen i have decided to do a revamp of the current story. Yes a revamp, that thing Writers say they will do but never return from. Honestly i have decided that i am not taking my hobby seriously enough, so i have decided to re-write everything, and by everything i mean like the 7 chapters that are up. originally i wanted to just power through this series and finish it first before i went back and did a re-vamp but a friend of mine on the net who also writes told me it is best to just do it now before i move on with my story. and honestly there are a few things i would like to change as well. so this will be the same story but different in a few places. A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.among other things i will also be implementing the whole ''show don''t tell'' thing, and hopefully writing a better prose. i will post the link to the new series, on the fiction page here. ¡§it may take me a week or two. oh and btw i hate when writers do this- and by this i mean update their fiction and instead of a chapter a find a notice so sorry for that. Last update on this fiction well my friends its been a loong and very slowly updated ride but i am done here. thanks for all my readers, i did the re-vamp as promised. my new fiction''s name is ''Aria of the blood fae'' This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. I have survived the re-vamp ladies and gentlemen :)
