《THE VICTIM》

    In a small town, there was a family of four the mother Audrey and the father jack,  Ariana, and Alex.... Alex was always popular he was in the football team all the girls liked him, he had a lot of people who had a crush on him, he got good grades ,He never had an issue with his looks his self-esteem or image issues it was almost as if he was perfect...and me his sister well she wasn''t anything like him she wasn''t confident, although when she was younger she was really confident even if she had a hole on her shirt or anything ripped when she was playing sports she would just walk like I didn''t give a shit about what  anyone thought about her whether she was fat or skinny or short or ..ugly.


    Then the day had to come when she reached grade 7 and  when she turned 13, she changed schools and then she started feeling self-conscious like everyone was staring at her,she started caring about how she looks like, what she was wearing, whether it was okay and she didn''t know why she was feeling this way and she didn''t even want to leave the house because of this kind of things especially when there was an event she thought to herself"I need new clothes, I can''t go out like this it''s embarrassing!"despite her mom telling her she looked fine,She still felt insecure and when she would go to school she would sometimes be bullied by "popular girls" because they were all skinny and perfect and always had the right stuff to wear and never felt insecure they would always laugh at her when she would come to class and the worst thing was when the biology teacher would bring a topic of eating healthy if u over ear u gain weight and u become obese and the other girls would say "yeah I know a girl here, who eats a lot of junk no wonder she''s fat hahaha" and so they kept on going despite it being hard for her and really uncomfortable and her and her brother were in different classes he was two classes higher than her.


    The biology teacher said it could also be because of genes that make them be fat not even a few seconds had passed that the popular girl  then said out loud hahaha! or maybe it''s because she eat''s a lot of pies second popular girl said or maybe it''s cause of the chips.the whole class laughed at her ..no one even said something, she herself was to scared to say anything.


    When it would reach lunch time the popular girls how sometimes sit on her desk THE SAME DESK THEY CALLED NERD DESK! just to annoy her they would sometimes do this just to make her feel bad and insecure or to embarrass her when she got lunch they would sometimes gang up on her and take her food forcefully there were like 6 girls against her


    She tried to stand up for herself, but she couldn''t because she would be hit this was a "thing for them" 3 times a week or if they felt "generous" they would take her lunch money instead

    As usual the daily routine happened she went home she cried and wondered why? why does it have to be me! I hate this school!!! and after a while she would hit herself and scream on her pillow it was rare that she thought about killing herself, saying to herself my family would be better without me.she would often listen to music which just put her mind at ease she couldn''t really explain why music would just make her forget everything that just happened to her and she would be happy again for a while until the next morning and let it start again.


    The next morning things were looking bright for her she was feeling confident her mom bought her a new dress and it looked really pretty which kind of made her feel good about herself she couldn''t really explain why..she did her daily routine took a shower put her contacts on put some makeup not that much though and finally she put on the dress and some sneakers and a coat to wear cause it was cold went downstairs ate breakfast and her mum drove her to school...


    .Ariana was thinking to herself plz..plz let today be a good day and her mom dropped her off she got in class coast was clear no mean girls around she walked in class and sat down she was wondering where they went..she then saw the girls come in one by one and she was wondering where''s their leader wait for wait for it....wait there''s no one coming and she felt relieved and thought that the dress must have luck Why? ..why did she feel relieved that the leader wasn''t there it is because when the leader isn''t there they can''t do anything to her...not without the leaders permission and stuff and indeed she did feel happy..her day passes like wonders with no problems not feeling depressed although when the other five girls would come by her they would just roll their eyes passing by and saying "don''t think so highly of yourself just because amber isn''t here your still ugly no matter what bitch"!and then walking away looking at her like she was so disgusting..like she was poop or something.,The day passes Ariana  thought about how trashy those girls looked and she didn''t let them get to her just for today because today is her lucky day..her mom picked her up and they drove to go get some ice-cream then go home and Ariana went to her room thinking about what a good day it had been without"Amber" and her five stupid minions ..Ariana slept nicely for the first time since she was starting to be bullied.

 CHANGES

    Aaaah just let me sleep a little would ya!*alarm rings again*UGH!, fine am up..am up!geez its so early can''t I just go back to sleep a little (20 minutes later) her mother knocks by the door,Honey are u ready we need to go ur gonna be late for school! after hearing this Ariana jumped out of the bed in shock Wha..WHAT am late my alarm didn''t ring it''s not my fault..whispering to herself well it is kinda my fault..her mom yelled from downstairs HONEY ARE U STILL IN BED, GET UP NOW!..ariana replied ye..yes,her mom then quickly climbed the stairs and entered her room to help her find something to wear and comb her hair..as soon as she was done with everything they headed to the car  and drove off to school,A few minutes later they arrived and Ariana hesitated to get out of the car and thought to herself I bet amber will be here today while frowning her face,she approached the entrance, she hesitated a little as she knew they could pop up and do  something to her, after a while she safely made it to class and sat down feeling relieved but unhappy as she was thinking to herself I bet no one has to do what I have to do every single day just...JUST to get to CLASS.!


    The teacher walked in and taught a few things about slavery in history and because Ariana was good at history and could answer any question about it, as u know what would happen the amber and her mean friends started their teasing...she is such a "Geek" "can u believe at break time she reads the whole textbook"...When the teacher walked out of class amber walked towards her saying did u miss me? yesterday u had it easy just because..I had a stomachache OKAY!am still going to do anything I want to do with u,Before amber could do something to Ariana a teacher walked in class and amber quickly said if u say anything to the teacher ur DEAD and no am not bluffing there are 6 of us it''s not hard to kill u.


    Amber and her minions then walked out of class and Ariana never felt more relieved,As the day went on, her worst time had come lunch time as soon as the bell rang she ran as fast as she could to go to her table, in that table were her friends Amy,Patricia and kate they were also bullied but they got it easier than her..she had to deal with this every SINGLE DAY SINCE SHE WAS IN GRADE 7, she''s now in grade 8 and is still dealing with this issues of her bullies.


    The next day to her surprise the school brought a school counselor, Ariana was excited about this because she knew she could talk to someone about this problem she was having at school for the past 2 years,she then walked in and she saw posters saying be positive all around and anti-bullying quotes and posters, she thought to herself fi bet she never had to deal with this kind of things I mean look at her she''s happy..and am miserable...the counselor said hello..a-are u there..excuse me?Ariana then responded h-huh?wha-what yes I''m here sorry I was just thinking about something,yes I could tell what''s troubling u miss...,she then replied ow yes my name''s Ariana,ok what brings u to my office Ariana can I help u with something or give u advice or u can talk to me about anything u want,what u tell me will be kept between me and u and the only way I can tell what ur telling me is if ur being threatened,u want to commit suicide and if u want to kill someone.Ariana then said um..I have some girls in my class and they*cough*ariana then remembered about what the girls told her about snitching on them that they would kill her and that what if they saw her entering in the counselor''s office she is definitely done for..ariana then said i..I can''t do this they are watching me i..I have to go am sorry  miss Ariana walks out of  the room,NO wait where u doing come back said the counselor, ow well..kids these days she''ll be back.

    Ariana was outside thinking to herself am just a coward I can''t do it am scared, what they will do to me?, I can''t own up! i..I can''t tell anyone am scared I have no friends to motivate me they all just look at me like am shit..i don''t know what to do..where''s my mom she''s late to pick me up now ,what am I supposed to do now,Ariana walked around the school and sat there thinking about her life and where she went wrong,a few minutes later her mom showed up am so sorry honey am late I had some errands that couldn''t wait..am sorry I''ll make it up to u let''s order anything u want tonight okay?sure mom anything I want Ariana was thinking to herself I wish my life was normal but is anything I want happening NO! when they reached the restaurant she asked for pizza chicken peri-peri is her favourite and that''s what she ordered,after she was done they headed home and she went to youtube and watched stories of bullying and she felt the need to stand up for herself like the girl in the video was saying, about how she cut herself and thought about committing suicide but later on stood up for self and what she stood for,Ariana somewhat felt she should do the same thing I mean why should I be picked on?she has no right to do that to me and Ariana started feeling so confident that she started punching her pillow for practise and then when to her bag and stuffed in hard books in there,she started punching and punching and moved on to the wall and screamed ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALREADY!  her mom said Ariana are u okay? why u screaming, when she went to her daughter''s room she found her punching a wall and her knuckles were bleeding, and she was crying,the mother quickly rushed and helped her get up onto her bed and got cotton and cleaned the bruises with spirit and put a bandage over the cotton..the mother asked Ariana, what''s wrong tell me, Ariana thought to herself i...i can''t just tell her it''s embarrassing she then told her mom that it was because she failed her physics paper,her mom said seriously!is that why u have to be so hard on yourself, she replied I don''t know  what to do anymore, her mom said it''s late just go to sleep okay? Ariana replied okay mom thanks , when her mom walked out of the room Ariana quickly watched more bullying stories and then fell asleep while her laptop was on.
