 Prologue

    It''s been a decade since release of first VR, I have been playing from the beginning but over the years it got so addictive I decided to quit my job not like I needed the money anyway, I already have a huge inheritance but just went along with normal life just because I had nothing better to do but that changed with the VR release, I could have quit then and there but decided against it for some personal reason which has dulled down over the years so now it''s going to be 24/7 gaming.


    I have been playing different games over the years but only few i have continued till now, one among that is a game based on fantasy setting with dungeons and what not, the world itself is still majorly unexplored, from as far as it explored we can conclude we are on a single continent the shaped similar to ancient earth continent.


    Anyway the world''s level up system is bit strange, every hundredth level you gain reincarnation option using which you can get a special class, race or choose a divine path, all players start as humans and can change their race during rebirth using blood of the race they want to be mixed with, for example bats blood turns you into dhampir, wolves of a certain type turns you into Lycans and so on, you can even mix with monster races.


    If you wish for variant races you have to take a chance game with blood of the base race if you succeed you get the race if you fail you get nothing and in some case get weakened or turn into something strange.


    There is also level up system for the races such as dhampir changing to vampire then into vampire lord, true blood and so on, the level up need materials, special quest and random chance to succeed, anyway I have been playing since the start and am currently 350 something in level, while the top players are 450-570+ not that I care though.

    In the recent month I got a special quest from church and found a secret which could potentially lead to me getting man hunted by them, it was such a sweet secret i decided to act on it despite the danger.


    It could be pain to do it in a targeted character so i decided to restart, ita a little depressing but considering the plan i have in mind its well worth it, so with that goal I collected materials for restart and after buying transfer box to switch the equipments to my new character I deposited all the item and deleted the account but not before messing with a few.....correction many people.

    A bit info about the game world.


    The world consists of one continent now with few other hidden ones, the continent is divided between three kingdom which may very well be called empires but whatever, the main source of economy is dungeons that are everywhere, all major cities and towns and built near dungeons.


    Legend has it that dungeons are portal to another world filled with monsters and the story goes that the monster world is so populated that it may affect the world''s stability hence the gods directly involved them self in its affair opening portals to send monsters and magical beings to other worlds.


    After many years of research it''s found that several seals are placed in the dungeons functions so as to not to flood it with monsters, the citys safe wards qre upgraded after studing the ones in dungeon, it was also then confirmed that dungeons are not producing monsters but teleporting them here, the recent large scale teleportation magic is also developed from studying the dungeon.

 Chapter 1

    I lay relaxingly on the capsule and switch it on, the familiar darkness greets me for a moment before I am led to character creation place, the npc that guides me through the process is nothing like the a.i. Inn the game it''s voice is mechanical and has no personality a bit boring but nothing I can do about it and not like I am going to be here again.


    "Account user D-5391 detected, no character on your account, do you wish to create one"


    "Yes please"


    "Please choose your name and change your apperance" two screens appear before me showing my avatar in 3d and options for changing it.


    After a few minutes of changing it, I give it an average look with black hair and eyes, nothing special, as for name I choose Jack and nickname Jester.


    Starting location is completely random though, anyway the process is complete and I am telephoned to the starter village.


    I appear in the village center, which is fairly empty except for few npc, well even those who restarted have done it years before so it could be hard to find low leveled players or new ones I guess, a npc is approaching me.


    "Young adventure, it''s been months since I saw your kind, now tell me do you need any help?"


    "Nah, thanks for the offer though"


    "Ah, well that''s to be expected I guess"


    Accessing the 3x5 inventory I take out the 5 storage rings which has a space of 10x10 meter, this thing though not rare among high leveled players is pretty uncommon for low leveled one or Pennyless ones, I take out several skill tomes for production skills.


    The skill tomes areas follows, Magical alchemy, in which you use mana instead of flame to process the ingredients, it gives high level purity products but as a downside takes time and for mass production takes astronomical amounts of mana.


    The next is Magical Repair, which similarly uses mana and a little bit stamina to repair equipments and such, it too has the downside of taking time which can be reduced if you pore in excess mana but that''s not possible till you reach higher level.


    Anyway mastering this skill unlocks elemental blacksmithing but you need to choose it as the main profession or you won''t reach above intermediate level in it.


    The last skill is Divine scriptures, remember how I said I pissed of people, well this is the cause, when divine scripture is mastered you get the Scroll maker skill.


    This thing is kept as a major secret by the church and fully monopolized by them, due to certain lucky quest I learned about it and after lots of sneaking around and bribing some concerned figures who were loose with their lips got me the location of the skill tome.


    Though I did get noticed by some during the process of obtaining it and was marked later to be hunted down, so I decided on the aforementioned restart.


    Anyway just for your info normal skill scripture when mastered unlocks the scribe profession, which is a trash profession with no benefit whatsoever, well you could be a able to work for royalty or nobles if you had that though.

    These are three production skills I am going to work with, but sadly I can only master one of them since only one profession is allowed and hence I won''t be using two of them to full potential but still I will be saving up money and time on the long run.


    Argh it is hurtful though when I think about how I  won''t be able to make legendary potions or items since I can''t master alchemy or blacksmithing but I can get my hands on the ever so illusive scroll making profession that''s been searched around for a lot of time.


    Though a few others may have learned about it already I higly doubt many has it, the quest for finding about it is rare, troublesome and easily ignorable kind, hence only few players mqay have completed it and it''s unwritten rule to keep such things secret, though even if you know it getting the quest itself is very hard, so it''s gonna be highly profitable and gives unbelivable amount of advantage in battle.


    I also found a class that''s matching for the profession, but it''s a tricky one not in the sense of getting it but it''s usage itself but that for later, so in order to get it you need to first choose mind mage which is a weak buffer class and once you reach level hundred and perform a secret quest to get the class, the class is a secret for now teehee.


    Anyway I need to reach level 10 before I can get the class so of to hunting now, equipping the slightly over powered mana gun I head to soon to be massacre site.


    As much as I could like to hunt those white fluffy rabbits, they are a bit fast and small for me to aim and shoot, yep people you have to learn to shoot properly before you can hit anything and let me tell you it took me six months to get used to that.


    So with my previous experience it''s easy now but still small targets are no go, so my attention is shifted to the soon to be swiss cheesed wolf pack in the forest, bam....bam...bam....goes the gun for a little over 2 hours during which I get 57 head shots and whole lot of meat and hide as loot and yeah let me tell you in this game there is no equipment drop by monsters.


    Anyway if you are wondering about how I am able to head shot wolves so why not the rabbits which are bigger than a wolves head....................>.>..........I will leave it for you to guess my reasons for not doing so (definitely not because I cannot come up with something good), getting back to topic I make my way back to village and approach the village center were the old newbie guiding npc is.


    "Hey old man, is there anybody poor in the village"


    "Humm. ?....why could you ask that, bah whatever the answer is no boy, pretty much everyone is doing good thanks to your kind and recent improvement in countries prosperity"


    "I see then hmm. ?......what are needed to hold a party for the whole village then?"


    "Ho, party you say, you mean festival right, well it requires 2000 meat, drinks minimum but you can add other things too I guess"

 chapter 2

    Well I have recently decided to hold a festival in my beginner village just for the heck of it, currently I am gathering meat for the festival it almost reached the quota 60 more wolf''s to hunt and I will have 2000 meat, took me 4 days to reach this point, but that''s mainly due to me taking my sweet time.


    Now I need to prepare for the next thing, can you guess what it is?.........well never mind I can''t really hear you even if you did, the answer is fireworks, what decent festival doesn''t have fire works, now with my money I can simply buy it, but where is the fun in that so off I go to mining.


    Two hours of travel to nearby mine, I was greeted by the huge ass guard.


    "I assume you are here to mine my boy, let me explain three simple rules, 80% of what you mine belongs to the kingdom as tax, no stealing from other miners and don''t lose this badge" saying so he tossed me a odd looking badge shaped as a strange animal holding a pickaxe, in case you are wondering it''s not a dwarf.


    After a full facing day I mined 10 fire crystal, 20 earth crystal, 128 bronze ore, 47 iron ore.


    After dumping everything in front of the guard and paying the tax in ores, which is 5 bronze for 1 crystal or 2 iron ore for 1 crystal,  which left me with 11 crystal, I choose 7 fire crystal and 4 earth crystal.


    Now for the process of making fire work I already have the recipie which posted online, anyway I need to do two things one is grinds a few crystal to dust other is fusing the remaining crystal and then smashing it to pellet size.


    Now I take a wooden tube made from bamboo, as for where it came from, it is sold in stores as water containers, anyway I coat the inner side of the tube with earth crystal dust using gluey jelly, then I take the remaining dust mix it with fire crystal dust and add the fused crystal that were smashed to pellet size, then I dump the mixture in the tube and voila fireworks ready for display.


    After 5 more badges, both food and fire works are prepared, now for drinks what should I do I wonder, I don''t really have the skills for brewing it, should I make juice instead, but that could kinda suck for the adults, bah screw it my party my rules, I make my way to the village center again and approach the bored old man with no job to do.


    "Hey old man, is there any fruits around here, any special ones or such"


    "Ha let me guess it is for the drinks, well boy juices are for kids you know but then again its not my place to complain, well if go deep into the forest you will find a cave inhibited by wolves, inside it you should find plenty of moon berries that thing is dawn good I tell you, it is mainly used for making alcohol so it should disappoint others I guess, anyway beware of the wolves though"


    Thanking him I again make my way to the forest, I mostly try to avoid wolves not out of pity but due to the reason of me not needing to hunt anymore for level or meat and it could be waste of my time anyway, reaching the cave though i throughly kill everything in sight since I don''t want to be disturbed when harvesting berries.


    20 something swiss cheesed wolf later, I am in front of the bushes with funk ton of berries, took me half the dawn day to harvest, well then instead of making juice with the berries I decided to make potions due to sudden spark in my brain during the very long harvesting time.


    Making my way back to the village again, I hand over the pelts to the village tailor to make some nice coats and sitting cushion mats for the festival, now let me tell you the cushion mats aren''t really anything new but isn''t really used by the commoners since they find it a waste to use it as such, anyway after placing the order, I inquire about the next task.

    "Humm. ?.....lady, do you have any idea where I can  hire some cooks"


    "Hahaha I am no lady my boy, just call me sera, as for the cooks do you really expect a village to have cooks, why do you need them any way?" Answers the pretty tailor lady with a mocking grin.


    "Ah well you see I decided hold a festival and well I need cooks for it"


    "Festival you say, sounds fun, very well you have to make do with house wives though, but tell me do you really have enough meat my boy or are you playing a prank on me" she asks amusedly.


    Not answering I just dump a portion of wolf meat in front of her from my storage ring.


    "Ho is that a storage ring, we''ll never mind then you should at least be rich enough to do what you said then, I will arrange for the cooks but don''t expect much they are housewives not professional cooks but I guarantee the taste and just to be sure pay for the day and leave the meat behind"


    After filling a large storage bag she gave me with the meat, I handed over 10 silvers, nodding she said it could be prepared by two days, confirming I left the shop or more like her house which was turned to shop, doesn''t really matter.


    I from the storage ring in which I have stored items for production class and raw materials, I take out the alchemy set and empty bottles, after messing with fruit using my magical alchemy I found a recipie which satisfied me, first I have to dry the fruit and extract it''s essence, then sliced up the dry fruit and finally mixed it with water and fruit essence, anyhow the final product was chwy juice which kinda worked out and tasted better than normal juice, took me a day to change the 2000+ berries into the new juice I made, after that I opened the log for notification which was very long by the way, from the first day I started the hunt till now filled 15+ pages of it, I deleted everything without checking and simply opened the status menu.

 chapter 3

    It''s finally the day of the festival, the villagers were little surprised by the sudden festival holding but where happy with it none the less, gathered in the grassy lands outside the village they were seated in the comfy wolf seat cushions around the bonfire.


    Several activities were held ranging from card games to dancing, drinking challenges on who gulps done most under a minute, eating contest and such was also held, the mood was great and every body was enjoying the festival and as it reached the end fireworks were launched, it was a complete success with a loud boom the sky''s were filled shower of brown and red colored sparks which was released from the small fused crystal pellets.


    The old guy from the village center approached me "Quite a nice thing you did, though you skipped a few things I can see you put in effort for making the people happy, not many do it nowadays, I don''t really know your reason for doing so but good things need to be repaid by good things, here is the letter addressing my son, he is head of the guards for Rain arrow town, deliver it to him and he may help you with your troubles" saying so he gives me a letter written in wolf skin, putting it in inventory I bid farewell and as I leave a message pops up.


    Rain village Festival complete :


    Held by an adventure due to reasons only known to him, but nevertheless it has boosted the mood of the villagers for months to come, productivity increased by 5% for 3 months, The festival was held in honor of Goddess of Darkness and has pleased her, residents of the village and those who rest here shall have a good night''s sleep and work well the following day All regeneration boosted by 20%.


    The heck since when did I hold it in honor of a goddess, well doesn''t really matter I guess, I sure could use the regeneration bonus, but bah I have got nothing to do here, no use wasting time let''s head to town.


    After hours of night hunting and traveling I reach the Rain Arrow town, it was in a strange star shape covered by stone walls on all sides, looked quite old, anyway I was stooped at the gates and questioned a little but was soon let in after my status and level was checked, asking the way for the nearest Inn from the guard, I left towards the pointed direction.


    As I entered the inn, I found the inn keeper sleeping behind the counter, half guilty I tried waking him up.


    "hmm.....Hon. .ey. ....darling. ....I ..am...so...r...you. .let....me.....in" mumbled the half asleep innkeeper, that sounded like someone that''s been kicked out I guess?

    After a few more pokes he woke up but was still half asleep, after paying for the room and getting the key, I left him and headed ton the room, hitting the bed I logged out.


    As you may or may not know beginner villages are safe zones were you can''t rob or kill anyone but in town or cities you can do that and only safe places are inns and houses. It''s been 3 days in real life and starting tomorrow will be the real start, but then again should I login into other games, well it can wait for a while I guess let me just check something though.


    The other games are post apocalyptic zombie filled world, space adventure, GTA type modern world, the character in zombie world is undergoing surgery, space adventure game character is on a long trade trip which should last a month and can be left in auto pilot, GTA character is doing nothing special, hmm. ?....I wonder what''s Gina has been up to,  we''ll it can wait I guess.


    Moving to the phone I skim through the voice messages, 3 new messages, 1 from coworker and 2 from game mates,


    "Dude you should have seen the managers face when he read your resignation letter, especially the part about your reason for resigning, it was hilarious, but then again he should have been prepared for at least that much, ah well congratulations on happy life I guess, call me in game when you create new character"


    "Hey what''s with the sudden character deletion, please tell me you didn''t sell the assassin set, mail me your new id"


    "Captain there, the price for Q-345 has decreased severly should I still buy it, it''s market may crash..... "


    Hmm well normal I guess, few hours of healthy workout and tasty meal later I hit the comfy bed for the night, waking up refreshed next morning, I head for the morning jog.


    Few hours later I find myself in front of my favorite cake shop, well two good reason to visit every day, one the very sweet yet not so overwhelming cake and two overwhelmingly cute lady at the counter, whose personality is as sweet as her looks, now don''t misunderstand me since I for one know it will all go downhill if I try anything with her, but it sure is nice having short chits chats now and then.


    Ah well time to head back to gaming i guess, i bid my farewell after the short chat, the shop was empty since it''s early morning and the lady seems to switch back to her bored mood as i head out of the store, i rush back home and after a nice shower and change of clothes I jump straight in to the VR capsule.

 chapter 4

    I woke up in the inn, it''s midday and sun shines inside the room, the windows placed well enough that light it allows isn''t annoyingly hitting on my face, you see I find that kinda things to be very irritating, well I should get on with day I guess, as I head down stairs to the dinning hall in the inn, I was greeted by a very surprised inn keeper.


    "Oi, who are you and why are you coming out from that room, I don''t remember seeing you yesterday neither that you booking a room"


    Tossing him the room key, I explain yesterday no its event of the day before I guess, after I finish he gives me a sheepish grin and nods remembering something, after breakfast to fill satiety bar, I head out to get my class.


    I enter the mage guild, it''s fairly old 3 story building which is fairly large, it''s western style and built of stone and some black brick like thing, the entrance door was carved with symbols and circles, opening it I find myself in a room filled with decorations of different thing, a few furniture and a counter by the door leading to other rooms? I guessing.


    Anyway I approach the counter and hit the small bell, but something shiny hit my face.


    "How rude can''t you see me here, anyway keep quite masters trying out a new spell" the small glowy thing whispers in my ear.


    I try to ask my question but was shut up by another smack in the face by the glowy,  after a few minutes a loud boom can be heard followed by a healthy laugh.


    "Sigh....The master messed up again, it''s gonna cost to fix things up...sigh....another month in red"


    "Still there, can I speak now, you are missing on potential customer you know"


    Though it doesn''t pay attention to my first part, as soon as I say customer I gain it''s full attention and a bright glow.


    "Sorry about that kind sir, what may I do for yo....wait you are here for the class change" it shouts half way through as it sees my level and I can somehow see dollar signs all round it.


    "Yeah yeah I am Here for class change but sorry to disappoint you I am choosing mind mage the cheapest class, anyway what exactly are"


    "But why, that''s a stupidly useless class, don''t you want to be something more" it cries out at the potential cheap customer.


    "Well I have my plans and am not going to change it, well I will pay double if you tell me what you are though" I say, wondering what it''s, in the past ten years I have never seen anything this small.


    "Hmph how rude, can''t you tell I am pixie, I will take the extra cash for your rude behavior then, though I must say not only are you rude but you are also stupid for choosing that class" it says mockingly.


    Without replying I hand over the money and wait for it give me the class tome for choosing class.


    "Hmm. ?...that''s about right, here is the class tome, since you are so stupid why don''t I recommend a skill for you to learn, it should at least help your stupid weak class a little"

    Hearing me again the strange atmosphere appear and it says happily "well I could recommend mana mastery and mana manipulation it should help increase your spell damage output considerably, it cost 60 gold though"


    Though mana manipulation sounds great it''s just controlling how much mana you pour in a spell but that too helps I guess, again I hand over the money and get the tomes, I was then led to training room underground which was actually mini dungeon that produced low level monsters, anyway the skills I learned are,


    Mind mastery Lvl 1 :


    Increases the defense of the mind and allows to perform complex mind magic. 10% effectiveness for mind based spells


    Fear Lvl 1 :


    Induces fear in the mind of the target, cost 10 Mp, duration 1 minute effect decreases the targets strength by 2-5% (if the target is higher level than you, there is 20% chance you will fail and be stunned for 5 sec).


    Confusion Lvl 1 :


    Causes confusion in the targets senses by directly messing with its brain, cost 20 Mp, duration 1 minute, effect decreases the dodging and attack accuracy by 2-5% (if the target is higher level than you, there is 20% chance you will fail and be stunned for 5 sec).


    Boost Lvl 1 :


    Boost strenght and speed of the target by 2-5% for a duration of 5 minutes and costs 50 Mp, the target must have a clear mind for the spell to work.


    Regen Lvl 1 :


    Increases all Regen by 10% by casting the spell on the targets brain, cost 100 Mp and last 10 minutes.


    Illusion body Lvl 1 :


    Cast a illusion of yourself in order to distract your enemy and let you escape, cost 100 Mp lasts for a minute, can be re cast 3 times


    Mana Mastery Lvl 1 :


    Master the usage of mana to reduce spell cost and increase damage, 5% reduction in spell cost and 5% increase in spells effectiveness (duration, damage and stuff).


    Mana manipulation Lvl 1 :


    Let''s you manipulate the mana, can pour in extra mana into spell to increase its effectiveness, further abilities are locked till you reach higher levels.


    Yup as the pixie said it''s one weak ass buffer class, 5 times less effective than normal buffer class but no one should focus on long term benefits if not for my goal I could choose this class, but now that I choose it no other option than to put up with it better if I can enjoy it, we''ll surely it must have its own charm right right?

 chapter 5

    Well time to take out the treasure item that helps me with the weak class, with thaI I also take out a dark scaly robe and a shiny ring with a simple black stone at the center, the items were so rare that people couldn''t hesitate to do anything, why because it''s made dragon drop and one thing that any mana based class should have.


    Mana Gun :

    Made by a master Smith using unknown metal, cost 10 mana a shot, has a total of 20 shots, recharges at 10 mana per minute, can also be recharged by welders mana at the rate of 10 mana per 5 secs.


    Dragon Scale robe :


    Defense : 500       Durability : 100


    Type : Legendary  Level : 25


    Special custom made Armour by a skilled Tailor, the robe is made by joining small broken scales from a dragon, due to the scales being broken and lossing its magical property and high level of tailor the level restriction is lowered.


    Dragonic ring (soul bound):


    Defence : 50    Durability : 500


    Type : Legendary Level : Any


    The ring is made from mixture of mithiril and elder wood, a portion of dragons core is placed at its center, due to expert craftsmanship and material it has high durability and high magical property, can also be used as a substitute staff.


    Special option 1 : 200000 Mp is added to wearers mana pool.


    Special option 2 : 1% total Mana Regen for the mana pool.


    Really Op equipments, but still only this can make the weak class playable, we''ll I did suffer to get the dawn thing, in fact I was extremely lucky to get it, the whole guild of 5000+ members players and npc attacked one of the first found dragon.


    I made the Armour myself from the broken scales but the ring was made by someone very skilled any way it''s just dumb luck i got it through random rolling,  never have i been more happier about my luck till then.


    Soul binding is as the name states but there is a catch you can only bind one 5 equipment at any given time so you have to be careful about what you bind to yourself making it impossible to lose, drop or steal the item during death.


    After hours of grinding the skill levels using weaker monsters I got bored, even if it''s fun to kill easy prey it gets boring soon, but not like I could have liked fighting stronger ones, it''s just doing things again and again gets boring real fast, OK let''s put a abrupt stop on grinding for now.


    Maybe I should do some quest, but first let''s see what the guard captain has to offer, I make my way to the barracks and after asking around a little I am in front Guard captains room, I wait for him since it seems he is out for rounds.


    As I wait around for few hours and was at the brink of giving up he arrived, soon we were in the captains room, which was filled with files, reports and what not,  he sits in the only chair in the room which is in front of desk covered with files, the young captain reads the letter then shoves it in the table, shifting the attention to me,


    "So, how may I help you?" He asks sternly


    "Well is there any place hiring people for for doing paper works and such" I reply politely.


    "Do you have the scripture skill?" he asks with a weird glint in his eyes to which I simply nod "you are hired then, there''s tons of paper work to do and very few people to help, so your help could highly appreciated here, the pay will be 1 silver a day and you can start now if you want" he finishes looking satisfied as if he found something that''s long lost.

    Monsters, bandits sightings should be placed in the column for scouting team, any complaints about residents should be left with the town patrol, complaints about shops over pricing, theft of valuable items immediately after purchase should be placed in the column for captain, which will be resolved by him.

    Lost and found items should be left with recovery guard group, after that then there''s the duty of filling in and checking paper works for food, drinks and such brought on a weekly basis for the whole barrack.


    Then the equipment maintainance paperwork, checking and cross checking of the total finance report and posting it back to Lord of the town and Noble that govern the area, with proper explanation for the spending.


    Then there is recording of criminals and monsters hunted or caught by the guards, it''s mostly monsters and occasional thieves and rare shady unknown figures, the report is the filled and stored away left to rot.


    After a few more hours of sorting through things, the work finishes up and I bid my farewell to Kyle,  who just thanks me for the help and tells me that work shouldn''t be much for the rest of the week and it will only be this much once in a week or so.


    It''s evening and sun to be setting, I make my way to the mage guild, to get a few more spells, spells are classified into different types such as beginner (z),  intermediate (y), advanced (x), unique (u), legend (a), godly (s).


    Beginner spells have 5 to 30 sec cool down, intermediate spells have 1 to 30 minutes cool down,  advanced spells have a hour or so in cool down, as for the other three it varies greatly, the cool down however can be lessened once you master the spells, it can be bought down by 60-80%.


    While the first three can be brought from stores and magic guild, unique spells can be obtained only when you do special quest, while legend spells are extremely rare and hard to find, it can rarely be found in dungeons crypt or offered by high level npc hidden somewhere.


    As for God type skills you either have to defeat divine beast or get it from a god, either of them isn''t easy infact it is so hard that it''s near impossible.


    So anyway you can master beginner level in spells easily while intermediate level takes weeks or a month and master level in spells take half an year to full year to level up.


    Even with the op equipment I can''t dungeon dive solo and at most I am capable of handling is group of 10-20 monsters, where as in dungeons it will be in groups of larger number starting from 20 to 200 monsters so it''s a must I join a party for now.


    But if I need to join a party I at least need lot more spells, sadly though even high ranked spells of my class isn''t as effective as other class which leaves me with option of npc party, but before that let me tell you the spells I bought.


    Mass Confusion/Fear (Rank X) Lvl 1 :


    This is compounded version of basic fear and confusion spell, uses 5000 mana to cast confusion on targets within within 10 meters for a duration of 30 minutes, causes 20% reduction in speed and strength of the target, 5% chance of stunning the targets.


    Truth detector (Rank Y) Lvl 1 :


    Detect if the target is lying or not, aura around the target will change to dark colors if the target is lying, duration 5 mins cost 200 mana and has a cool down of 30 mins.


    Mood reader (Rank Y) Lvl 1 :


    Able to read the mood of targets within 5 meters for a duration of 10 minutes and has a cool down of 30 minutes, the moods will be displayed as color aura around the target.


    Telekinesis (Rank X) Lvl 1:


    Let''s you control an object or item without touching it for 30 minutes has a cool down of 1 hours, cost 6000 mana and reduces the efficiency of other spells by 20% during the duration it''s active.


    Telepathy (Rank X) Lvl 1:


    Let''s you speak directly in the mind of target for a duration of 30 minutes and has a cool down of 1 hour, cost 100 mana and a link to the targets mind will be maintained for 30 minutes even if the spells canceled before the duration enabling caster to communicate again if needed within the said 30 minutes.

    Now that I am loaded with spells I can have for the class, it''s time for getting the npc companion or more like slaves, while there is normal npc companion you can hire for the party I want complete control so buying slaves is a given.


    Anyway if you are wondering about spell grinding I decided to do it while I power level with high level npc slaves which I will be buying soon, after all grinding works better with stronger foes and I am not the one for grinding skills alone like crazy,  it gets unbearably boring.


    But before that I have the scripture job to complete and not to mention the next trade convoy passing through here is week from today, so I guess it''s a no go for at least a week.


    So deciding on concentrating on scripture skill grinding, I work every day At the guard house and spend the rest of the day writing adult books, though this is not the first time adult books are written in this world it''s still a popular and rare product and it also helps me grind the scripture skill level with the added benefit of earning few coins.


    After a week of writing I completed 5 such books, the week long adult stuff has made me a little too horny, maybe I should buy a slave for that purpose, well not like I have any morals or such regarding that stuff but still.


    The week passes and I find the convoy in town after negotiating with the convoy''s merchant for allowing me the trip I sold the books for 50 gold and a free trip.


    After a few more days if travel during which I was grinding other production skill of alchemy and repair after buying the needed stuff for it from the merchant, the skill levels for it are in the range of 7 to 9.


    Anyway now that the city is in view, it''s a magnificent sight, the city itself is huge and divided by several circles of walls, the 7 circular walls contains 7 space is in between of which four is occupied by commoners and various shops.


    Of the other two, one is shopping district with high class shops and other is occupied by guilds such as mage guild,  warrior guild, adventure guild, etc., etc., while the inner most part is occupied by nobles and city officials.


    The entry fee for first gate is free, it increases with each gate and you need a whooping 10 gold to enter the innermost circle.


    I make my way to 3rd outer circle where you can buy slaves, I for one have unequiped all the eye catching equipments, don''t really want to hunted down for treasures yes.


    Any way having only 1 storage ring and useless designer cloth implying I have money to spend I walk into the huge as building which is the auction house for slaves and high level items.


    Oh yeah its time I should explain a few things about the kingdoms for now I guess, the one I am is called Aurora kingdom majorly influenced by Royals, nobles and church of light.


    Though there is some order within the kingdom, corruption runs deep in all power houses, slavery, torture abuse are common thing here and the only reason there is no revolt is because the people of the kingdom are left alone I.e., the one to abused are those smuggled from other kingdom or those who no one to care for them.


    Anyway even if there is occasional revolt here and there its easily subdued by the powerful army, so this is place were anything goes as long as you have the money for it.


    Then there is sun kingdom, it''s main power house is council and church of the sun god, strict rules are maintained and any illegal activity is heavily punished, it is a given slavers murderers thieves and such hunted down here, so in short it''s a highly law full kingdom with little to no crime and slavery.


    And the last is more of union for traders rather than a kingdom, though there isn''t as much law restriction here as in sun kingdom, it is still law full, though slavery is allowed here, abusing them is punishable by law, so they are treated more like serfs instead of slaves.

    Coming back to matter at hand I approach the guards at the doorway, flipping him a gold coin, which tends to open their mouth better than other stupid stuff.


    "So can you tell me if I can personally inspect and buy ''goods'' here"


    "Humm. ?...well that will cost you some but I am guessing that not really a problem for you, here take this card and show it to that guy over there, he should lead you to where you want"  he finishes handing over a card and pointing me to guy inside the auction hall.


    Following his instruction, after I showed the card I was lead to the storage room below for more discreet business stuff, there were numerous cages with beast and monsters of different size and type neatly arranged, at the end of the long hall was another man who greeted me, while the one who lead me returned upstairs.


    "Dear customer, you need to pay 500 gold as deposit just so we know you actually have money, please don''t take offense but the service we provide are high quality and I assure you for its satisfaction" he says with a business smile, handing over a bag of coins I wait for him to continue.


    "Humm......that should do it, sorry for the trouble, so now what sort of product are you interested in buying"


    "Party members, 3rd reincarnation, one tank, one crowd control healer, both female if possible"


    "Ho that is indeed possible, now please follow me" he leads me to a room behind the hall, it''s a well designed room with comfy furniture, after telling me to wait for a while, he disappears and comes back after a few minutes holding numerous files.


    "Now customer this files contains the list the people you may be interested in, it also explains their class, strength,  weakness, character and other details, please pick whomever you like" he again disappear in a puff of smoke.


    The list has 200+ people, holy cow that''s full of females, I wonder how many males there is then, though not rare female warriors are less than male ones, skimming through it I find very many npc I could love to have but no I don''t have the money so am cruelly forced to choose between them, with my full wealth I can almost afford 3 but forcibly subduing any such desire I try to be as objective as possible.


    After hours of hellish decision making I narrow it down to two at last, one is 24 year old Divine Paladin, who mainly focus on receiving damage and moderate healing and other one is jack of all trade huntress class, with excellent crowd control skills.


    Paladin is brown haired creamy skinned beauty named Maria, she was prisoner turned slave, before which she was in a platoon of paladins whose mission was to raid slaver convoys, oh the bloody irony.


    Huntress is black haired beauty who is heavily tanned due to high exposure to sun, anyway her class is a hidden one, her skills range from tracking, trapping, hunting and restricting movements of her foes using basic elemental magic.


    The class is heavily dependent on various equipments and a few spells with near perfect crowd control abilities since she can trap them both by magical or physical means.


    Anyway she is 30 some year old and had the initial goal of hunting high ranked monsters to make quick money for her brothers treatment, but due to his condition worsening she sold herself in order to get the needed cash, she refuse to reveal her name and only goes by her nickname of.....

    After purchasing the two slaves for 20000 gold and buying a few contract documents for future use I head back to an Inn in the 5th circle with them, book a good comfy room.


    It is time to get the cooperation of npc(which I don''t need in this case), while I can simply other them around using slave mark but where is the fun in that, so I am planning on establishing a contract with them.


    Looking at the beautiful duo I let out a sigh "As much as I could like to do you in here and now I still have some integrity left and decent enough to not do that I guess, anyway I am going to make a deal with you two, it''s purely for myself and you have no choice to refuse it" I say looking at now somewhat surprised two.


    "Anyway the deal is you will work for me for life as my bodygaurds or put bluntly meat shields willingly, anyway in return I promise to not abuse, torture or rape you, which if I broke you will be freed from slavery so try your best to push me over the limit, anyway in return if you willingly let me be in danger you will have to obey any one of my commands with no questions asked, so that will be it, here I order you to sign this blood contract" finishing I handover the blood contract and there body move automatically and finishes the given order.


    While Paladin Maria has a confused look, the huntress who I will call Anna from now gives me angry glare, this is going to be fun very much so, ah yeah I should order them to change profession for now.


    It''s gonna take some time before I get scroll creation and level it up intermediate to get skill scroll option though and then produce the magical alchemy and elemental blacksmithing skill scrolls, should I have just kept the skill tome instead of using it, gas regretting now isn''t gonna help I guess, so much for planning things.


    "You two switch your profession to blacksmithing and alchemy, ah wait I forgot Anna already has alchemy, so then that leaves you I guess" to which Maria looks dejectedly, I am guessing she loves her profession of gardening.


    "Anyway you two have two free day, do whatever you want with it but by the end prepare for dungeon diving,  here is 2000 gold buy any needed equipments with it and don''t spend it for anything else" I toss a money bag containing 1000 coins to each and leave the room, time for my own preparations.


    Maria POV :


    I am currently in a small prison cell under the slave auction house, these bastards have their fun with me every day,  I can''t even resist since they use the slave seal to make me weak and dull my senses.


    Damn them I could have killed myself when I got caught if only I had known this could happen, I swear if I ever get the chance I will have my revenge.


    Days changes to weeks and weeks to months, I no longer care anymore about what they do to my body, trying everyday to kill myself somehow but fail miserably since I can''t go through the process as the slave seal prevents me.

    I am tapped on the shoulder by the other woman, looking at her she just smiles back, how can she smile in this situation, doesn''t she hate this.


    "You know I can understand why you look so angry, but let me tell you this is infinitely better than what I thought could happen, so try not to do anything stupid, simply think of it as being hired as a bodygaurd, moreover you do have an easy chance at freedom remember all you have to do is somehow stimulate him to get you tortured or raped" she says with a dangerous tone.


    Well now that she mentions it she is right, but I refuse to stimulate him I better die than even think of doing that.


    "Anyway darling you are seriously lacking in clothing so why don''t we go get you something to wear" she says eyeing me weirdly.


    "Wait didn''t he say only to spend on equipments and last time I checked spare clothing doesn''t come under that bill" to which she only gives me a strange sounding chuckle and drags me out.

    Anna POV :


    Sigh to be abused liked that day after day that damn nobles, the truth is you see I did gather 5 million gold for the divine life potion which cures just about everything for my brother.


    But even though I was able to get the money, the darned priest refused to sell it to me reason being some asshole noble took an interest in me and wanted my body for his sick pleasures.


    So with no way out I agreed to the deal and sold myself, after he got tired of abusing me he sold me to slave house but not before threathening ma that if I mention about him or anything he did to me to anybody he could kill my brother, I wonder why though.


    But it''s better this way i guess, even if my brother knew he could just recklessly charge in and die so better for it to be forgotten, anyway I don''t regret it since I was able to see my cute little brother smile happily when he was cured.


    Though I thought that could be the last time I saw him but I guess I still have my lucky streak, the one who bought is so innocently cute, interesting contract he made, giving me much freedom and even a chance at escaping slavery.


    But I somehow doubt he will let it go just like that, moreover the blood contract did say it will release slavery but not the blood contract, so I will have to be his body guard either way, how cunning hehe, well let''s just play along for now.


    What should I do now, my owner gave me two days free time and ample money to make preparation for dungeon raiding but it doesn''t really take much time to prepare.


    Should I visit my brother, yeah that could be nice but he will overreact and it''s probably better to watch over him from a distance at least until I can get a clear grasp on what my buyer wants from me.


    I guess I should make some money, he did say only to buy equipment but didn''t really say that I should not resell it, hehe time to go to auction house.


    Maria POV :


    I am dragged to auction house, Anna who introduced herself on the way explained to me on how she has experience evaluating weapons and items her plan is to buy cheap but good unidentified items and sell high, though I had my doubts about it, I was soon convinced of her expertise.


    The lady made 100 gold within few hours, if she had this ability why did she sell herself anyway, it''s probably better not to ask but I am little curious.


    She then dragged me to alchemy store to buy ingredients with the money she made from auction, few more hours later the potions she made sold for 500 gold, wow the lady just made my yearly salary in half a day.


    Then she dragged me to clothing store, the thing after that is stuff of nightmare for the first time in my life I learned women can be quite disgustingly perverted too.


    What she did next wasn''t something I could have belived ever if not for me seeing it right now, well dressed I was dragged back to the slave auction house, what the hell does she plan on doing here, no I don''t want to be here I will fucking murder them if I see those scumbags again, freeing myself I run away after all even if I am confident in my strength I can''t kill them all after all at least for now.

    I watch the girl runaway from me, guess she still got her trauma about this place, even I don''t like coming here but as much as I could love not to I still have things that must be done, ignoring the puzzled guards I make my way to the one that sells slaves.


    My reason for being here is simple, I want to free the kids I saw down there where I was locked up before, thankfully they aren''t the beautiful kind and arent that costly as adults or warriors,  after all they are to be sold to poor nobles to do housework.


    Anyway for the rate of 5-10 golds each I buy 57 kids, the slaver has good laugh at how a slave is buying slaves but none the less goes through with the deal since all he cares about is gold and it''s not like they are special product wanted by nobles he could care less what I do with them, well I guess in this case it''s a good thing.


    I should probably set them free so my owner doesn''t get any funny idea and order me to do something bad, but not here I suppose.


    I drag back all the kids to the orphanage I know, I release the slave seal and leave the kids with strong willed priest that runs the orphanage, I have known him for long so I can at least trust him with kids.


    The priest is a little surprised to see me as its a known story of how I sold myself to slavery, though a little happy that I am free of that hell hole  he looks worried that I am still someone''s slave but I comfort him explaining the situation to which he let''s out a long sigh.


    I also learn that my brother has followed my own path and is currently training himself to become a good hunter with the help of guard captain whom i am familiar with and he is doing that to earn enough gold to free me.


    Just like him, ah damn dust in the air.........., I guess I won''t be seeing him for a while then, sigh it''s better he doesn''t know the truth at least for now, I highly doubt my current owner will just willingly sell me back sigh.....


    After few more hours of chatting with him I decide it''s time to head back.


    Jacks POV :


    Well I am just grinding the production skills for now but a certain rows of messages, well the thing just informs me about list of action done by my not slaves.


    Skimming through it I find what they did and was a little surprised at their action, wow why didn''t I think of that damn i could have made some gold with her well not that it matters now i gues.


    Anna seems to be a smart and daring she went and bought slaves, we''ll I guess she has a good hearth, if it was me I couldn''t go to the place that I had been held as a slave, surely she must have suffered I guess the lady''s a courageous one.


    The other one however seems to be in trouble well not my problem after all I did give her permission to do whatever she wanted, still this earns her a few brownie points for her stupid stunt, hmm. ?....wait what...sigh this is beyond stupid huh, well whatever back to grinding.

 chapter 9

    After 2 days of Grinding alchemy i made thousands of potions which made me reach intermediate level after which the leveling slowed down.


    The leveling system for production no any skills is a little complicated, you can easily reach intermediate in two or three days, then it takes month of grinding to reach master level, after that it becomes so realistic that you won''t advance a level without gaining some understanding of what you are doing.


    By more underatanding i mean recreating things in different manner and so on, to explain it more broadly, let''s take alchemy for example at beginner level all you have to do is put in ingredients smash it up and voila you have your product.


    At intermediate level you will need to learn how to smash it up, how to boil it and so on, gets a little realistic but still the system will provide assist so it''s not really much of a problem you just have to follow the assist images.


    However at master level you won''t be able to level up the skill if you can''t do it manually without assist, I.e., from procuring the ingredients, handling it, storing it properly, then the whole ordeal of processing it to get desired product, all of this you have to do manually to gain levels but you can also do this with system assist but you won''t really gain any experience this way.


    So many leave it at master level one or choose not to learn it at all and as described this applies to all the other skills, apart from the nonsensical magic skills you can actually use whatever you learn in game in real world too, like if you practiced martial arts, running, cooking, etc, etc., though you won''t be as successful as in game you will still be able to do the basics.


    Though there were complaints at first about the whole system but people got hooked up with it as game progressed.


    The game company''s reason for putting in place such hard system is simple, like all other games it is also based on the award system but unlike other games is pretty usefull and realistic afterall when you are just handed down gift without doing much will you appreciate it? No you won''t.


    So the company made the gamble of making it near realistic so you need to put in a decent amount of work to get the skill, but so as to not bore everyone out it was designed so that it will only get realistic at master level, thereby making it so people won''t find it a hassle.


    And all that was left was wait for them to run out of things to do after which they naturally gave it a try and it worked splendidly and pretty soon people found out that they can actually use some skills they learned in game at least at a basic level, like wood works, building things, sculpting, painting and so on.


    The game company went so far as to employ pros from different fields to get a knowledge and understanding of their fields and implanted it in the game thereby making the skills use able in real life.


    Anyway moving back to the game, now that I reached intermediate level there is no need to rush I guess, after all its not like I can master it anytime soon.


    The divine scripture skill though is a little bit reasonable and at the same time a bit nonsensical though it provides tips on just about everything for writing like holding the pen or quail in this case correctly then comes how much pressure I put in it so apart from this it also include details such as spacing, the way I write.

    and then it also gives tips on how to explain certain things, different perspectives, how to keep the readers attention and so on, very very detailed but it also started explaining how much mana I pour in and how to control it parts where I should pour in more and so on.


    As for magical repair it is something close to visualization and concentration, when you pour in mana on a damaged item a image of the item in its pristine condition is displayed and something like a gif displays it turning from dented one to repaired one.


    So now all you have to do is concentrate on the dent then recall the giff, the better you visualize the faster it repairs itself, of course you can simply disable this option and wait for game like repair too without you needing to do a thing, but using the gif method you get bonuses time to time.


    Anyway the repair skill  is still hanging at 6th level since I focused mainly on alchemy skill grinding.


    Back to matter at hand I had 100 high level potion which healed 10000 points, 700 medium potions that healed 1000 points and others were low level potions that healed 50-100 points.


    Honestly low level potions are useless for me and so is it to other players and selling it at shop is useless so I decide to get some brownie points and donate all the low level potions to the guards.


    I sold 500 medium level ones to players at a price of 50 silver per potion making 250 gold coins, then he went back to the inn to meet up with his slaves it''s time for dungeon diving.


    As he was making his way back he looked at his two slaves status which was fairly strong compared to others at the same level.

    Other than that the skill and stats point windows were locked stating he will only be able to view them after he reaches similar level, but he didn''t really care what he needed to know was which potion to give them and how much could be needed.


    Reaching the room I heard chatter of the two, one sounded as if being violated while the other sounded strongly pleased, not wanting to walk into awkward situation I just knocked the door and stated i was coming in.


    The sound died down as I entered the room only to find several bags of normal dress, clothing and such, dress up games? I thought but looking at the two who were full equipped in battle suit with weapons I let out a sigh.


    I wondered if i should praise them for getting ready so soon by putting on the Armour or scold them for playing around till the last minute but then again I might be wrong.


    They just might be viewing through dresses to pass time as they waited full prepared but I somehow doubted that was the case, ignoring Maria who was trying to say something i took out the potions, handed 75 mid and high level potion to Maria and 75 mid, 25 high level potion to Anna, keeping the remaining 50 mid level potions for myself.


    I didn''t prepare any mana potions because I had the op ring that boosted the regeneration while the other two were so high leveled that he concluded they couldn''t need to use much of their skills against low level monsters and can easily make do with their natural regeneration.

 chapter 10

    Dungeons are the base resource source for kingdoms, major capitals are either built near it or around it, anyway it can be classified into many types but genrally its divided into either major or minor dungeon.


    The minor ones that are spread out randomly and has only few floor or none at all, while the major ones have at least 100+ and those near big cities are so big that they haven''t yet reached the last floor yet, they can''t even guess it since it just keeps on going.


    Anyway the one I am diving has 120+ floors, it is neatly divided by level, I.e., 1st floor level 1, 2nd floor level 2 monsters and so on, anyway the kingdom post guards in front of the dungeaon to collect entrance fee and also keep an eye on monsters that may come out to attack.


    Since the arrival of players the whole entrance fee thing was a huge success and the kingdom gained unbelievable amount of wealth from it since players are entering on daily basis, anyway after paying the fees for me and the 2 slaves we entered the dungeon.


    1st floor had slimes, bugs, small animals and plants, it was just material collection for potion making wasn''t even a fight no in fact it was a one hit many kill.


    The lower levels were also quite similar till we reached floor 15, though still not a match for the two slaves obviously the monster here were quite the trouble for me when I fight them alone.


    I am not really the combat type that gets hot blooded facing strong opponent so I started using my slaves who left free to do whatever they wanted till now, Maria tanking a and Anna providing backup, it became ridiculously easy, I had Anna holding them off without attacking much and Maria taking the full brunt of their charge without attacking much.


    This set up made it so the monsters were held by them to be my shooting target, well it was quite shamless but screw it not like I care, the whole set up continued from then on, using their power as much as I can I leveled up at record breaking speed.


    Since I had them refrain from doing much damage to the monster and dealt the whole damage myself I got major of the experience, since they weren''t in my party there was no penalties too.


    After three more days of shameless power leveling I reached the 100th level, decided to call it quits for now that I can use rebirth option once, we left the dungeon, selling the unwanted loot,.

    Deciding so I grinded the divine scripture skill like mad, it was little ironic I was using divine skills to write adult stuff but who cares, it''s easy to write, sells quickly, gives just as much experience as normal books hence it''s only natural I write it so, still I am only intermediate level 3, sigh this is gonna take a while.


    In a certain dark room


    A really illegal bad thing was ongoing but the activity was stopped as a shadow entered the room, really questionably dressed figure stops his vigorous activity noticing the shadow, he turn towards it taking of his mask he starts questioning.

    "No, your highness, the seller was quite secretive about from where or who he got it from, since we didn''t even sense him to be lying we decided it could be useless to continue further anyway several of our spies are around him in case if that person approaches him again, still we were able to procure all the books sold by that man"


    "Too bad, but I guess we will find him soon, kekeke" flipping through the books the shadow handed to him he started laughing strongly again while mumbling "it him alright,  it''s definitely him, kekeke finally......"

 chapter 11

    Sigh I have forgotten about it previously now but that I remember mind mages have trouble with spells of other magic, some strange side effect not only does it take 3 times the experience it also reduces the efficiency by 60%.


    Well efficiency itself isn''t the problem but it will take a month before I reach intermediate in the basic spells so that i can make spell scroll, arrgh funk it I will just buy the scrolls from store for now, yep let''s worry about scroll making later, time to visit magic store.


    "Welcome customer,  how may I help you?" A boy of 16 year old at the counter asks politely.


    "Is there spell scroll for fire magic and ice magic?"


    "Please wait a moment sir" saying so the boy moves to a shelf taking out several small boxes that contain numerous scrolls he puts it on the counter "please feel free to choose from them"


    Looking at them I can see several low and mid grade spells, fireball,  fire spray,  firewall, explosion, freeze, ice spear, ice projectile, ice domain and so on, buying 20 of each bought down my wealth by 2000 gold coins.


    Now all that left is to get the Arachnid queen corpse for the class, if you are wondering the quest needs to be done alone, normally gun should be enough but spiders have numbers and webs a bad combo to fight against soloing, especially so when you are of similar level.


    So hence comes the need of scrolls, anyway the cave is fairly near the town in fact you can find spider lair almost in all the cities and towns.

    I kinda went with Jack of all build,  the 200 stats point are all split into 5 stats equally 40 points each, the rest generated by actions, ah well onto the magical class.


    The darned half spiders are intelligent and quick on their feet making it trouble some to shoot, I tried to avoid using scrolls as much as possible but it was impossible without launching a fire ball now and then to get them in place were I want or burn their Web traps.


    It was trouble some and I nearly died on many occasion even with scrolls and potions, since the cave was filled with easily flammable Webs all it took was a fireball to set it aflame thereby restricting their movements and making them easy to shoot targets, the scrolls were running out fast I only had a few of each left luckily I reached the queens chamber.

    Without even waiting I activated ice domain which slows and freezes anybody within 5 meters for 5 minutes, all it did was slow down the queen and her minions but that was enough, using ice projectiles on the minions and constantly shooting at the queen who was shooting all kind of poisonous web at me.


    Dodging a few and getting hit by a few I didn''t stop shooting, though my health was dropping steadily thanks to the constant potion consumption I was safe, after 5 minutes were up I was only able to bring it down by 20%.


    As soon as it tried to charge i activated firewall, followed by fire spray, still it went on for a while constant switching between  fire and ice spells and mana gun did her in, collecting the loot I left for the nearby shrine.


    Offering the queens remain to the gods I activated the rebirth option, a Window popped up asking my confirmation for switching to special class, after I selected OK, another pop up in formed me of my class change from mind mage to Empath.


    Empath :


    Those who are able to link their mind to their soul, masters of mind magic, through their highly developed mind they are capable of connecting directly to others mind quite easily giving them access to communicate, read, analyze the targets mind.


    As a result of their mind being connected to soul they develop mana sense over the years which make them capable of seeing, hearing, feeling and even tasting the mana, as such they are considered to be one of the finest mana manipulators that are even able to analyze and understand any spells used before them.


    But it does come with a draw back any spells other than mind magic comes with 60% reduced efficency as they need to maintain the connection between soul and mind always, but it does get better with training and exercise after acquiring decent amount of it they can overcome such drawback.


    Note : Beware, high degree of mana sense can be both blessing and curse, if not controlled properly this may lead to death or crippling of user or those around them.

    Maria''s POV :


    sigh......that damn bastard making me change my profession as he please if only he weren''t an adventurer who is able to come back to life I could have had him killed.


    Just what where the gods thinking giving such bad people such gifts (taking about players being immortals), It must definitely be the work of evil gods, do I really have no choice but be his slave for the rest of my life.


    Currently I am standing in front of a blacksmith workshop he ordered me to go, knocking on door I finally hear a voice telling me to come in, going in I can see a really well built person working on the forge.


    wondering where the voice came from i look around to see a small boy standing by the door, the boy whispers me to keep quite which I do, after a while the blacksmith seems to be done with whatever he was doing, he gives the boy the finished product and a note after which the boy leaves the shop, turning to me he looks a me questioningly.


    "What do you want girly"


    "I was told to go here to learn blackamithing" saying so I hand over the letter the bastard gave me.


    Reading it he tosses it to a corner, he then signals me to follow him, as i do we are in another room filled with books he tells me to study them all.

    I continue working in the blacksmith shop to improve my skills, it been 2 months since I started and still no message from the bastard, I hope he forget about me I could happily do well with the life here but that''s only my wish full thinking.

    Well well, our master seems to be using us thoroughly for leveling himself up quickly, but there is one major flaw with this method he won''t learn a thing about compact this way, his movements are at best ameturish this is going to be a problem if we are gonna fight in group for a long time maybe I should coach him some time, well thoughts for later for now i got a few months free time from him.


    I decided to visit the orphanage where a pleasant surprise was awaiting me, my kid brother who has joined the guards seems to regular visitor in the orphanage,  it was an emotional reunion.


    Took a while to came him down and explain that I am not that bad a situation as the one who brought me is just using me as bodyguard, still he promised me he will find a way to free me, that aside we went back to our old home, sending some sweet family time.


    Other than that I focused on making high level potions to make as much as money as possible during the alloted time I have, after two months I gained thousands of gold coins which I donated to the orphanage.


    The caretakers and children hosted a small celebration to express their gratitude for me, it was heartwarming and i received a lot of hand crafted gifts, still how i wish i could give them much more comfortable life''s.

    Now let me tell you the benefits of empath class, though this class can''t be considered too op compared to other classes, it''s initial three spells rather powerful or should I say useful if mastered it can definitely be one of the best support class, the three skills are as stated below


    Empath sense (SPECIAL) Lvl 1 Basic (Passive/Active) :


    Due to your mind and soul being merged masterfully you gain special senses with which you can detect life signs of any and all living beings, when used passively you can detect a dim light on all living things, when used actively you can be not only see the energy signature you can also know basic information about the being.


    Cost : 50 SPP/Min  Range : 10 meters  (To protect users mind signatures of minute life forms will be ignored)


    Options :


    Copy : Understand and copy any skills performed within its range. (Active only)


    Identify : Able to provide extra information about known life forms.


    Empath link (SPECIAL) Lvl 1 Basic :


    Require empath sense to be active and have acceptance of the target to connect to them or forcibly establish it by yourself which may lead to complication, once the link is formed you can use it for various purposes ranging from communication to healing or hurting the target.


    Cost : 500 Spp to for the connection 5 Spp/min to maintain it, Range : 10 M (range of the sense)


    5% chance in establishing link forcibly(1% increase/decrease in chance as per increase or decrease in targets level)


    Options :


    Communication : communicate with the target no Mp/Sp cost, can communicate as long as the link is maintained.

    Spirit manipulation (SPECIAL) Lvl 1 Basic (Passive) :


    Spirit is energy is derived from soul and house the conscious of any living thing, anybody who has mastered the mind and soul can control and manipulate spiritual energy with ease.


    This three skills can be developed into some real op skills if mastered and used correctly, let me explain how the skills work.


    Empath sense is as it states a extra sense even with your eyes closed you can sense life signatures of living things dimly and when used actively it is displayed as bright ball of light which isn''t too overbearing to look at and as it states in the skill description any minute life forms such as bugs, insects are ignored until requested so by me.


    This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.


    Not to mention the copy skill which is provides too much opness NOT, it restricts any such learned skills by reducing it''s effectiveness by 60% which though may be reduced to 40% after mastering the learned skill still isn''t anywhere good.


    Empath link though I can''t really say it''s useless but it''s not use full either, not unless your participating in large scale battles as commanding officer that too require the skill to be mastered to provide decent range, maybe if I unlock the locked ones I can get something good.


    Then there is the last skill, though I don''t really have much skills using spp or spirit points now, from what I know any skills has spirit imbueded in it is real overpowered and if I am able to control it the that''s definitely a plus.


    Now if you are wondering how can this skills make a best support class let me tell you, with empath sense you are near 100% immune to ambushes and such, no living things can hide from this skill nor the undead.


    Empath link can be useful in communication in the heat of the battle and maybe also has other good options, the last one is pretty much obvious any skill imbueded with spirit is greatly amplified.


    Spirit manipulation is similar to mana manipulation, but you can use it to power up or amplify any skills a and hence making it so whoever posses it the best of their class, spirit is energy released from soul and is compaitable any other energy thereby making it possible to mix it with other energy such mana, stamina and such, with that said overuse can lead to unciousness or death.


    But still it''s nowhere near as overpowered as other offensive class which has mana manipulation, aura manipulation and such, the only other benefit of this class is it allows user to be able to learn any and all combat skill including the melee and mana type, this is due to the empath senses which is able to sense all energy emitted from life forms.


    Hence if the empath is able to watch or sense in this case a skill being performed enough time they are able to learn it, however it''s effectiveness will be reduced by a staggering 60%, though this may sound good but it''s just a jack of all trade kind.


    But there is one saving grace or should I say path to ultimate opness, when this class is combined with scroll making profession it truly can shine though not until I learn and level up multiple skills and spells to intermediate levels.


    It''s going to take quite some time for me to reach that goal but definitely worth it, then there is the secrets of every special class a user can unlock, this is going to be fun, time to grind the skills.

 chapter 14.1

    Sorry for the false promise yesterday, had been dumped with work and will be busy for a while well will update whenever I am free, really sorry.

    I found something real interesting while grinding my skills, the empath link which had a low chance of success when forced is a skill that''s best practiced on low level monsters as it increases the success rate which was precisely what I was doing that is until I got extremely bored and irritated, then it happened somehow my spirit points were reduced and I can feel emotion carry over through the link.


    Yeah what I found out was I am capable of sending emotions through the link and i also learned that target too can do the same though not anywhere near clear enough as me, well further experimenting revealed I can also transfers thoughts, intent, picture and so on through the link, which mostly led them to be confused for a few secs.


    Well apart from them being confused for a few secs and funny faces they make during the duration there was no other visible benefits, though it was fun nonetheless, for one instance when I flooded goblins mind with beautiful females they were practically drolling and when displayed certain pictures that monsters are naturally weak against it was funny to watch their reaction.


    Some even gained status effect from it, like berserk, rage overflow, fear, despair and so on, there was both buffing and debugging effects based on what they feel, this could prove useful or maybe not, it''s fun to screw around like this none the less.


    As for spirit manipulation it seems I can only add extra spirit points in a spell or skill nothing more than that, sigh a major let down at least in mana manipulation you can create and shape mana as you wish, well it does increase the effectiveness of the skill by 20 to 30 percent, but the amount I have is too less to be spammed I can utmost use a dozen times.

    The only way to increase spirit is by using it over and over, it also seems to grow daily but both method is very slow, I have deplete the bar hundreds of times to raise it by one point and daily increase is 1/1000 of total spirit, it gonna be very long time before I can use it generously.


    Ah yeah almost forgot about empath sense skill, as said before it displays each and every living being as a dim ball of light, upon closer observation I can even see their life mana and spirit, life is red in color it''s in various shapes and size but when the being is hurt it kinda shrinks and when fatally wounded the red light dims and almost becomes invisible.


    Mana is also similar only exception a thin layer of it is always around the body and lastly there is whitish blue light around the white ball of the being, it is never redused in size or shape but always seems to move at each and every action a being is taking.


    The only reason I identified it as spirit is because I could see the color of it when I poured spirit in my skills, though I might be wrong, well anyway with combination of cc skills like confusion fear and illusion spells I was easily able to grind my beginner basic spells.


    With the help of dragon ring and short cool down of basic spells low level monsters were abused endlessly, still even that became boring after a while, I resolve myself once again by remember all the fun I could have once what I plan succeeds, for the future I must bear through this, back to torturing the low level mob.

    I somehow managed to level up all the basic elements spell to intermediate level now I can make scrolls out of them hehe, time to earn some change, time to head back to the town.


    Now that I think about it I haven''t really fully used the skills mind mage class has offered, especially the telepathy, telekinesis,  mood reader, and truth detector skills, well not like I had any chance to use it, hmm. ?...maybe I should pull some pranks, it''s the perfect skill combo for that Kuku.


    Searching for target, Hm.....not the guards too cliche, shop owners bah too boring, priest maybe, hmm how to go about it....


    Making my way to church, I enter and seat myself in prayer hall, now let''s wait for targets

    a loud burst of laughter can be heard , if you zoom in you could find the guard captain was having his laugh of the month

    "Hahahahahaha......my stom....A. .Che. ....post. .hahaha...." laughing each time looking at me and finally calming down a little "to think that someone actually pulled of that stunt, pfffttt.......I sure could have loved see that when it happened"

    I am led to a cell in underground prison, an arrogant looking guy that started shouting and cursing at the sight of the guards, I was explained that he was a member of group of bandits who had been very elusive till now, not only that they travel all over kingdom killing looting and rampaging  as they please,  I was requested to make him leak info on their hideouts, Intel gathering source and whatever the hell else.


    It could have been nice if I had mind reading but it couldn''t be fun, now where should I get started, yup let''s go with that.


    using mood reader and illusion I cast several illusion of several objects noted down every changes he had seeing them, we''ll for the first few hours he was just dishing out insults to me then as he saw no reaction his attention went to the illusion, which he was trying his best to ignore but with darkness all around there is no way but to get trapped looking at the illusion.

    I gathered information about what changes his mood, what he likes, doesn''t like and doesn''t care, next I started casting silly illusions of him doing random shits obviously didn''t have much of a reaction but I noted down when it did have some reaction.


    3 days later


    I got a basic grasp on his personality, the type that was overly sweet betrayed by someone becoming a lunatic, tried to produce similar plots using illusions, with happy ending ofcourse, though before that I experimented with what type of women attracted or angered him, of course it was through illusion,  getting basic build of npc from the forums I designed the females using the npc molds I have seen, finally I got the reaction of last and hate towards a certain npc women from him.


    Then using the female as the betrayer portrayed a love story only with a happy ending, kinda silly I know, even he himself laughed coldly at the attempt but it was a very tired laugh, why because I repeated that stupidly cheesy story illusion at least hundreds of times, now that''s something that can drive just about anybody insane.


    2 more days later


    several kind story illusion later he started feeling little guilt, fucking locked on, i tried connecting using empath link took a lot of tries to connect, once i did, i flooded the link with mix of images of murdered people and pictures of stories i showed him, then him killing the characters he loved, along with audio link accusing him as fucking murder thrash and whatnot,  the whole process was rinse and repeated for another few days, he started pleading to stop but no that''s not enough not for enterta.........His crimes.


    After a week


    The prisoner had lifeless look on his eyes, oopsie I may have gone a little too far, well I did get the info he willingly told me several days ago,, but I secr....doubted he had more so continued to enj.....punish him more for my enterta......His crime.


    Well nothing more to do here I guess, whistling I made my way to the captains room, handing over all the info I got, the captain was pretty disappointed with how long i took, but since i got the info he let me go without much additional reward, not that i wanted anything extra as it was purly for fun anyway. I made my way out before they realized anything.


    Hmmm......somehow pranking turned into tort....psychology experiment? I don''t feel like continuing, guess it''s time to call the slaves back and message sent, should I hunt to grind skills or focus on saving money, hmm now that all the stress is released hunting could be boring so money making it is, whistling happily I made my way to safe spot to produce items I can sell.

    " sir please punish me I am thrash, i will tell you whatever you want sir so please punish me i don''t deserve to live I don''t deserve happiness I don''t deserve anything, please punish me" said the previously broken slave emitting a creepy aura.
