《Ambiguous》 Chapter One "Alright Alex, 5 more laps and then we''ll move on to sword practice."-Father "Yes Father. Huff-Huff."-Me Now you might be wondering why a 5 year old kid like me is drenched in sweat and running around the huge track. Well, you see, I live in the city-state of Kyros, where the strong rule the weak. Race? Gender? None of that matters as long as you are strong. This city-state is renowned for its great military strength. Even large kingdoms are wary of us. The only reason it''s the strongest is because practically every citizen is a soldier. I live in a very Spartan-like culture where parents train their children to become strong at a very early age. There are currently over 400,000 adult citizens living in Kyros. Of course if you add children to the equation then it would be something like 900,000. Children are considered adults once they reach the age of 16 and are put into the ranking system. Our city-state is ruled by the council who are the top ten strongest people in our city-state and they govern the city. Many people strive to become strong enough to enter the top ten but in fact it is incredibly difficult to achieve. Once you enter the ranking system then you start off at the bottom and you have to climb your way up. There are different ways to rank up like challenging those that are of higher rank than you but you can only challenge people that are 50 ranks higher than you. But you can also take on missions given by the city council that can increase your rank depending on the difficulty of the mission. I heard a rumor one time that people in the 1000 rank and above are as strong as dragons! My one father Roy Malford is ranked 1,447 which is really impressive considering that he is only in his early thirties. Many people have said that my father is very talented and he should be able to get into the top 1,000 by the time he reaches the age of 40! Because of my father''s prestige I was brought up in a very strict household and my parents had very high expectations from me. My training started at a very early age learning from my father how to wield a sword, which was even earlier than when most children began their training, which wasn''t very normal... But then again, I''m not a normal kid. You see... I am a reincarnated person. I used to be an average Korean student that got nagged by his Asian parents to study more and get a good job. I was pretty average looking and had a very mild personality. My hobbies were cooking and reading fantasy novels. I was unfortunately killed by some bastard taht wasn''t paying attention while he was driving and I got rekt. I was very surprised to find out that I was reincarnated. I expected to go to hell because I wasn''t a very good Christian. But since I read plenty of fantasy novels I knew what kind of situation I was in so I didn''t panic. I probably figured that I was going to be the protagonist of this story and had to defeat the demon king or something. But the only problem was that I hated being in the spotlight. So I was determined not to become the hero and I decided to be the dude behind the scenes. This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. I was able to learn this new foreign language to a proficient level within a year. I was a very abnormal baby because I messed up a couple of times and forgot that I was a baby with the mentality of a college student. My parents thought that I was genius which was the reason for my early training. I have an older sister and brother and a younger brother who was recently born. I began my training when i was four years old. My father handed me a stick and went through the forms of the North style swordsmanship and taught it to me. There are four main styles of swordsmanship that are the most popular. The Northern style is very aggressive and focuses on attacking your opponent. The Southern style is more defensive and focuses on outlasting your opponent. The Eastern style is a very speed based, so and uses many fancy tricks to quickly dispatch your opponent. The Western style was kind of a mix of all of the styles together so it was the most balanced type. There are also rankings in each style that goes like this: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, Master, Grandmaster, and Saint. My father told me that he is an Expert in the Northern Style and Intermediate in the other three styles. Naturally he mainly focused on the Northern style for me to learn but he also taught me the basics of the other four styles. I do believe that I am more suited to the Western Style, mainly because I like being the all-rounder type of person that is kinda good at everything but doesn''t specialize in anything. A year has passed since I began my training and everyday is filled with my sweat and sometimes blood as I train with my older brother and father. My mother is a magician that specializes in Light and Water magic. Mages also have the similar ranking system for the different elements which are Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, Dark, and Lightning. My older sister followed my mothers footsteps and became a mage as well, that specialized in Fire magic, so she no longer trains in the sword with us. You are able to test your affinities once you reach the age of 8 because that marks the halfway point of becoming an adult. "Alex come in for lunch!" My older sister called from inside the house. "Okay!" I replied. My mother came up to me and embraced me as she said, " How''s my cute little daughter today? How was training?" Oh. It was really, really awkward. Like one moment you have a dick and then suddenly it''s gone. I had an identity crisis for a long time during my infancy. But eventually I was able to get over this problem and come to terms with my new body. I was mostly worried about puberty and the incredibly painful periods that I heard women get and I shuddered to think about it. I like to think of myself as a very adorable little girl. I have short black hair that reaches my small shoulders and I have cute little dimples when I smile. I also have adorable grey eyes that I got from my mother. I''m pretty sure that I''m gonna be pretty smoking hot when I grow up and I''m gonna have all the guys chase after me. Truthfully, I don''t really have friends at all except for one. Because of my early training I have only spent time with my family who I have come to love and the slaves around the mansion. I learned early on that this city-state practices slavery and I find this detestable. My own father is very cruel to his slaves and punishes them severely for their mistakes. I always try to ease their suffering by being kind to them and sometimes giving them food. My mother doesn''t really care about the slaves and just ignores them most of the time. If you put the slave populace into account then the population of Kyros (the city-state I''m living in) is over 1.5 million people. Unfortunately if war ever breaks out then they would probably be used as meat shields for the citizens and many would die. There is one slave boy that is around the same age as I am who''s name is Matthew. I was able to quickly manipulate convince him into being my friend and we had a somewhat decent friendship. Although it had to be kept secret because my father would be outraged for befriending a slave. I occasionally teach Matthew some of the sword techniques that I learn during my free time and teach him how to read and write. It is strictly forbidden to teach a slave how to read and write and I can be punished severely so my teaching sessions have always been done in secret. Thus a few years have gone by and I have reached 8 years old. During this time I was able to convince my father that I was more suited to the Western Style Swordsmanship and he focused on teaching me that style. Through hard work I was able to reach the Intermediate level in the Western style when I was 7 and my father had to hire a tutor for me because he was also Intermediate level in the Western style and he had nothing left to teach me. I was able to reach the beginner level in the other three styles as well. My parents thought I was a genius but in reality it was just that I worked really hard in order to become strong. Today my family threw me a party for becoming 8 years old which marked the halfway point of becoming an adult. So today, after the party my mother brought in a weird looking dish that had the 7 elements inscribed on it. She told me that today we were going to find out what my affinities are and to see if I had any potential for magic. I had to prick my finger and put a drop of blood onto the dish and my mother began chanting some sort of ritual. Soon bright light in different colors began to emit from the dish. My mother was very surprised and exclaimed that I had very high affinity for Earth magic, high affinity for wind magic and average affinity for lightning, water and fire magic. Apparently someone having that many affinities was extremely rare and my parents were overjoyed at my potential. From now on I would be able to learn magic and study the ways of the mage. The ranking for affinity goes like this: very high, high, average, low and if there is no light shining then you have no affinity at all. My parents hired multiple tutors for me to learn the various magics that I had the affinity for. From then on my days became busier and busier as I struggled to learn all the chants and various magic theories that were taught to me by my teachers and the training that was given to me by my father and my Western Style teacher. My time spent with Matthew decreased as well. But during the view times that I spent with him I was also able to teach him magic. It seems that he was only proficient in lightning magic. But that was only because that was the only magic that he was able to use and I didn''t know whether he had more affinities or not. But it looked like he had high affinity for magic because he was able to learn very quickly. At first when I began my magic lessons my teachers had me chant really long and tedious lines in order to cast a spell. But later on I realized that I didn''t need to chant at all! All I needed was a really deep understanding of the element I was using and a really good imagination. For example, fire is just substances in the air that combines with oxygen that causes it to combust. And time flied by quickly and 2 years passed. I kept it a secret that I can use magic without chanting because I didn''t want to draw unnecessary attention. My teachers all called me a genius although I didn''t really do much in my opinion and they all praised me which made my parents happy. But my older sister soon became very jealous of me and began to give me hateful glances. My older brother also did the same because of my fast improvement with the sword. My younger brother saw me as an idol and he always followed me around which I thought was really cute and he was able to become good friends with Matthew. But truthfully everyone thinks that I am advanced rank in Earth magic and a rank lower in everything else. I didn''t want to cause a commotion and doing this would have made my older siblings hate me even more. Apparently 10 was the age when children began to go to school. It was pretty late if you ask me. I expected to go to school and live there until I graduated but I found out that it was just like a similar school back on Earth where you learned basic subjects such as math, language, and history. There were no science classes which I figured since this world has magic no one really thought about the scientific aspects of things. It was my first time actually going out of the house and I was amazed at all of the things I saw on the way to school. There were many large buildings and many different kinds of races that I have never seen before: elves, dwarves, orcs, centaurs, beast men, and others that I didn''t know of. I lived about a 10 minute walk away from my school. On the first day of school I met a really cute kid with blonde hair and blue eyes and the first thing he shouted when he was introducing himself to the class was that he was going to be the greatest swordsman in the world! I found this very cute and it kind of reminded me of Zoro from One Piece. His name was Vaan and apparently he trained in some odd sword style that I couldn''t bother remembering. Apparently I was quite famous at my school because of my achievements in magic and Vaan came to challenge me. What surprised me was that he did better than I expected. It seemed like he also reached the Intermediate rank in his sword style like I did with my Western style. But since I knew a variety of other styles which were in the Beginner level I used various techniques which caught him off guard and he was defeated. He came day after day for a rematch and said something about how I''m his rival now and that soon he will get me to take him seriously or something. Well... I accepted his first 5 challenges and then I realized that the kid is actually a freaking genius and he improved in every single fight. Soon I stopped accepting his challenges and avoided him constantly because I didn''t want to lose face and wanted other people to think that I was superior. It turned out that the training part was to be learned from parents so there was no PE or anything regarding training the body to get stronger because this city-state expected parents to teach their children to become strong. A year went by quickly and I was gradually getting frustrated in my math class. The only classes that I was interested in were the Language and history, I mean I knew everything and it was a complete waste of time for me so I asked the teacher if I could stop taking classes because I knew everything. Well after pestering him for a long time he eventually conceded and told me that I could stop attending classes if I passed his test. It was quite simple really. The hardest thing on it was some basic geometry and it was a breeze. Well news got out of it and soon the math teachers gained some interest in me and they sought me out. I really didn''t want to cause so much commotion and I regretted acing that test. My parents became even more happier with me while by older siblings began to hate me more and more. They openly mocked me when my parents weren''t around and played really annoying pranks on me. With my mentality being of a 20-something year old I clenched my teeth and ignored their provocations. Soon the older math students somehow found out of my amazing math skills and they came to me for help. Well, I was in a good mood at that time and I was able to easily explain to them how the pythagorean theorem worked. Apparently I was an amazing teacher that was able to simplify things very easily for them and soon a plethora of students came to me for help in math. I did my best to avoid them but they always managed to find me in the school. I was eventually tired of this and had my father get me private tutors and I no longer went to school. Vaan apparently heard about this and came everyday to challenge me to a fight. My parents thought it was cute but I was really getting annoyed by this brat. I decided that it was time to put and end to his miserable life. I accepted his challenge which seemed to surprise him but he quickly became enthusiastic about it. After my father sounded for the fight to begin I quickly used Earth magic to send him flying about 30 feet and he was unconscious. I was hoping this taught him a lesson to not mess with me but he came the next day... and the next... until I had to force the servants to not let him in and I was able to completely ignore him. ========= Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Chapter Three A/N This is the last chapter where I''m just summarizing the things that happened. After this chapter I''m going to input more dialogue from the MC. ==== I became 13 years old today and my family had a small party to celebrate it. The only people that were missing were my older brother and sister. My sister got married a year ago when she was 18 and she gave an excuse saying that she wasn''t feeling well and couldn''t attend. My brother said that he has to go on a very important mission and that it would help increase his rank a lot. Well I know that they both hate me so I don''t really care about them. A slave came in and told us that guests have arrived in front of the house. My father had gleaming eyes and looked excited for some reason. I was hoping that he got me a really good present. The slave brought in a man who was built like Arnold Schwarzzeneger and a young boy who looked to be around 13-14 years old and pretty good looking. (no homo) "Ha ha ha! It''s good to see you Tomas. Ah, I see your son Garret has grown up a bit since I last saw him." My father said. "Ha ha. Yes he has quite grown a bit. Well, well, well. Your daughter is growing up to be quite the flower Roy. Did you tell her about it?" Said the huge man. "Ha ha ha. I wanted it to be a surprise. Come here Alex. Let me introduce you to one of my old friends. This is Tomas and his son Garret. He is your fiance!" "What!!!" I screamed. "Ha Ha HA hA. She looks happy. Well, we just came here to say hello and wish happy birthday to my future daughter-in-law. We''ll be going now." said Tomas. As they left my facial expression was very dark and I looked at my father with daggers. When my father saw my expression his face frowned. "Why are you looking at me like that? Are you unhappy with your future husband?" My father asked me. "Yes. In fact I am father dearest. Why was I not informed of my marriage? And why do you get to choose who I get married to?!!" I practically yelled the entire thing. My father''s frown turned into an angry scowl and he reprimanded me about how great Arnold is and how they went on many great adventures together and they promised to have their children get married one day. Luckily my mother intervened and she stopped my father''s ranting. He sent me up to my room without dinner that night. I knew that he would probably marry me off when I become an adult, so 16. '' I have 3 more years to get stronger and run away. Wait scratch that. 2 and a half years left.'' From that day on I began to train like mad and made much more progress than before the thought of having a dick inside me was not something I wanted to experience at all. One day... it happened.... The pain was agonizing. I cried out in pain and tears slid down my cheeks. Yes. Today was the day of my first period. My mother had to stay with me the entire day and console me that the world wasn''t ending. It was probably the worst day of my life so far and I dreaded that it would keep on coming till I become an old hag.... 2 years passed, and my Western Sword style finally reached the Advanced level and my father was proud of me but he didn''t know that I was secretly training to run away from him. The North and East style were still stuck in the Beginner level but I was able to improve my South style to Intermediate rank. During these two years my breasts have grown quite a bit. All of my magic was the same except for lightning and Fire magic which ranked up. The only reason I couldn''t rank up in Earth magic is simply because I don''t have enough mana. Mana is the basis of all magic and I need enough mana to cast the spell that allows me to rank up. In order to increase my mana pool I have to meditate and focus on increasing the amount of mana I currently have by absorbing the natural mana around me. This takes a long amount of time which is why I haven''t made much progress in ranking up. But recently I have been doing experiments with my magic, mostly with earth magic. I figured that because it is earth magic it is very similar to my planet Earth. And since the earth has metals in it I have experiment with the process of using magic to bend metal to my will. I have been making slow process and am currently able to feel the various types of metals underneath the earth. My father has reached the master rank of the Northern style a while back and he went on a dangerous mission to subdue some monsters or something. One day while I was enjoying my time with Matthew, father unexpectedly came back and was furious. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING HANGING AROUND WITH THAT TRASH!!!!" This was the first time that I was truly terrified of my father. He had a scary light blue aura that encompassed him and it made me feel intimidated. It was like I was facing a ferocious beast that could kill me whenever it wanted. He made me watch as he whipped Matthew and as he cried out painfully. After Matthew was covered in his own blood, father told one of the other slaves to sell him to the Coliseum. I was fearful for Matthew. I knew what happened to slaves that were sent to the Coliseum mostly died in their first fight. It was a place where people don''t survive for longer than a year. Father then went on to teach me a lesson. He told me to grab my sword and get into my stance. He was a blur and appeared behind me. I didn''t have a chance to react as he smacked me on the head with enough force to send my flying a dozen feet away. He then began to beat me until I lost consciousness. When I woke up I was covered in bruises and my body was filled with pain. My little brother was sleeping next to me while drooling. I smiled at him and patted his head softly. I madey decision that I would leave immediately. ===== Hope u enjoyed Chapter Four A/N So I saw some questions regarding the previous chapter and I decided to answer them. The city that the MC lives in is called Kyros. It is where the strong rule the weak. The top 10 strongest are the council members where they deal with governmental problems and pass judgement. Basically the top 10,000 ranked people are nobles and the rest are peasants cause they are nubs. I guess you could imagine this land as kind of the medieval era in Europe but I''m gonna add some other stuff later. Now back to the story... ====== Every step was painful as I walked down the dark street. I grit my teeth and pushed onward while ignoring the pain. I had a cloak over my head so I was pretty sure that no one would recognize me, and even if they did I was confident that I would at least be able to knock them out. And if I got into and extreme situation, I would kill them. I''m pretty sure, despite my age that I was at least in the top 150,000 in this city and I''m pretty sure that those stronger than me are most likely sleeping. It took a while for me to reach the city walls. I used wind magic to levitate myself up and went over the walls. Luckily for me there weren''t many guards on duty so I was able to easily escape. I traveled along the long and winding road down the path that led me away from Kyros. I have been traveling for about 2 hours with the assistance of wind magic and my body is really sore and tired from the beating I received from my father... I mean really, what kind of father beats their child for hanging out with their friend? Well... at least I have no regrets running away from home. My older siblings were douche bags and my mother was completely obedient to my father. I was able to inform my younger brother what I was going to do and we had a tearful parting. I saw a tree along the ride and I laid down under the tree and closed my heavy eyes for a brief moment. When I opened my eyes I saw the sun light shining past the tree leaves. I yawned and began to stretch and I forgot that I was beat up pretty bad so I flinched from the pain. I opened my small bag and ate some bread and cheese while walking down the beaten path. By midday I reached a crossroad and I was stumped at which direction I should head to. I completely forgot to bring a map and I reprimanded myself for forgetting such a simple thing. Well, I made the simple decision of going left and went on my way. Good thing my body was pretty sturdy otherwise I wouldn''t have been able to move because of my injuries. "Ahem." Did I forget to mention that I''m pretty hot? I might have um.... kinda stared at myself in the ... mirror. And I gotta say that I have a pretty nice ass. The next day I came across a caravan and I was able to persuade by paying 5 silvers to allow me to ride one of their wagons. I had to speak in a deep manly voice so that they won''t suspect that I''m a female. I was able to save up some money that my parents occasionally gave me and I had a total of 34 gold and 21 silver. The coins were about the size of a quarter and they made a lot of noise when I moved so I had to stuff my coin pouch with a lot of cloth. This was a fairly small caravan which had about 50 wagons and about 100 mercenaries that guarded it. The head merchant was a fairly average man with a mustache. I had my hood covering my head the entire time because I didn''t want anyone to speak to me. I focused on resting and healing my body. The first two days of traveling with them was fairly uneventful and I enjoyed the scenery go by. Luckily nobody came up and talked to me. I have an aura of nobility (I think?) so they stood clear away from me. During the third night of my stay with the caravan I was woken up by the sound swords clashing. I quickly drew my sword from its scabbard and looked carefully for any danger nearby. The mercs were rushing toward the sound of fighting and I heard the mercenary commander shouting orders to kill the bandits. This text was taken from Royal Road. I guess the bandits were smart for attacking in the middle of the night but these mercenaries were pretty experienced and they got the job done quickly and I didn''t do anything. But the fight wasn''t over yet as I heard more yells coming from the end of the caravan. It turns out that the first group of bandits were just a distraction and the main party targeted the back. I used my magic to get an overview of what was happening. There were about 200 more bandits that were in the end of the caravan and the mercenaries were scrambling to protect the wagons. The mercs were outnumbered 2 to 1, so the odds were against them. Then I saw man that was pretty much hacking away at the mercs and killing them like trash. I assumed that he was probably the bandit leader. He was pretty good with the sword, he was at least and advanced rank in the Northern Style by the way he used his techniques. But to my surprise the leader of the hired mercenaries caught up to him and began to battle him. The leader of the mercs was Advanced rank in the Southern style and they were pretty evenly matched. But the problem was that the bandits outnumbered the mercs and they were pushing them back. So I decided that it was time for me to make my glorious appearance and save the day. While about a 100 feet in the air I conjured fireballs and began to rain them down onto the bandits. The bandit leader recognized what was happening and signaled to retreat after he saw me and uttered a curse. The caravan began to clean up the mess and treating the wounded and checking up on their goods. I slowly made my way down and the caravan head thanked me graciously for my help. I knew I still had to keep my disguise and made the manliest grunt that I could with my feminine voice. The leader of the caravan seemed to take that as a "shut up" signal and closed his mouth and let me go rest in my wagon. Throughout the week I received some words of thanks and some glares of hate and some people muttered curses under their breath because I didn''t help them sooner. Well, I personally didn''t really care about strangers and let them do what they wanted. When we finally reached the city of Ferrent the caravan leader gifted me a small pouch of coins for protecting them from the bandits and told me that if I ever needed a place to travel in the same direction as his caravan then he would be happy to oblige. The first thing I did was find and inn and got a room for the night which cost 10 silvers. Then I went to the market place and found a map which cost 20 silvers... A rip off if you ask me. The city-state of Ferrent is 50 miles to the west of Kyros. I''m pretty sure that my father found out that I ran away by now. I need to keep on heading west and go into the Raiyne Kingdom. I''m pretty sure that I can work as an adventurer or something there. I bought some extra clothing (the underwear in this world is really... um... lame?? I guess is the correct term for it?... I could never find any sexy lingerie that I.... um..... was.... you know...) and a few medicinal supplies like bandages and antidotes just in case. Most of my wounds have healed by now but I''m still a little sore. I searched around and found the Adventurer''s guild located within this city. Kyros doesn''t have an Adventurer''s guild because it''s citizens does all the missions and quests. It has its own little "adventurers guild" I should say. It was really huge. there was a sort of bar in the first floor where the guild members could hang out and eat and in the second floor is where most of the jobs were posted. I approached a young lady in the counter and told her that I was looking to hire some people to escort me to the Raiyne Kingdom. She began to ask me a series of questions about how long it would take, how many people I would hire, how much I was going to pay and how strong the people I wanted to hire were. The adventurers were ranked from F to SSS being the highest. Because I didn''t have that much money on me I hired 5 rank C adventurers and one rank B. I am paying them 30 gold coins (which is quite a lot about $30,000 in USA money) for a simple escort mission. I left the guild and headed back to the market place again. I found a fair deal and was able to buy 2 cheap horses and a carriage for 3 gold and 50 silvers. The money that the caravan leader gave me was about 20 gold so I have a little over 15 gold now. I went back to the inn and went to sleep after a meal of warm soup and bread. ===== Hope you enjoyed the chapter! Chapter Five A/N Regarding some questions from the previous chapter... ==== The next morning I got up and arrived at the city gate with my horses and wagon and there were five men and one female elf that were waiting for me. We exchanged pleasantries and I explained to them what the goal of this quest was. Of course I spoke in a manly voice and had my hood on so they couldn''t see me. So we quickly set off and since it was my first time actually speaking with an elf I asked some questions about her. It turns out that she was the B rank adventurer in this group and she was an archer and Advanced rank in Light magic. Her name is Ayla and we had a pleasant conversation throughout our journey. I also got to know the others a little bit. 4 were swordsmen and one was a Intermediate Fire mage. Nothing eventful happened until the fourth day of our travel where we came across a little girl that was beaten on the road and left for dead. I felt pity for her and picked her up and had Ayla heal her with her light magic. The little girl looked to be about 8 years old and had pretty blonde hair. When I picked her up I noticed that she had pointed ears like Ayla! To my surprise she was an elf and had a slave collar on her neck. Ayla was extremely outraged by this and asked me if we could bring her along. I knew that elves were coveted as sex slaves and they were very expensive. Since I was her employer she naturally had to ask me for permission first because she was a liability in our journey, but seeing the battered and bruised little girl softened my heart and I let her travel with us. The young elf girl woke up at night, probably from the smell of dinner and was surprised at her surroundings. She was really cute and let out a cute yelp. I resisted the urge to hug her right then and there. She had beautiful blue eyes and a cute oval shaped face with some baby fat, but I knew she would turn out to be a real beauty like all elves did when they grew up. We first fed her some food and asked her what happened, she began to tell us her story of how she was born a slave and her master got mad at her and left her on the road to die. Her name was Sylvie and she was seriously cute. We got her cleaned up and gave a some fresh clothes although they were too big for her. It made me want to hug and pet her on the head even more. But I restrained myself because that would possibly give away my gender to the adventurers. When she saw me using magic she looked at me in wonder and I felt pretty good about myself. I started to teach her magic, luckily Ayla had those magic balls that told you what your affinities were. Surprisingly she had above average affinity in water, wind and light. I was able to teach her the basics in water and wind magic while Ayla taught her light magic. I had to restrain myself for 2 weeks from keeping myself into snuggling up with her under the blankets.... she was that cute. We traveled for 2 weeks and we finally reached the city-state of Myrn. We found an inn to stay in and I got a room for myself. Ayla accompanied me to a slave trader in order to free Sylvie. The other adventurers went to do their own business. When we finally found one I had to negotiate the prices because it was really expensive. I had to resort to taking my hood off which surprised Sylvie and Ayla and used my sexual charms to sway the slave trader to lower the price to 10 gold coins. ''Hehehe... My sexual charms are indeed formidable.'' After we got the slave collar off of Sylvie she came up to me with her big blue eyes and said, "Thank you Big sis." I almost had a heart attack from the over load of cuteness that emanated from her. I couldn''t help it so I hugged her until she pushed me away because I was practically choking her. We were able to find an orphanage and after much consoling and persuading Ayla and I managed to convince Sylvie that it was for her own benefit that she stayed here until Ayla comes back and takes her back to the Elven homeland. I made sure to tell Ayla not to tell any of the others that I am female and she told me that my secret is safe with her. I headed to the adventurers guild after stocking up on supplies to get some information on this city and the road we would soon be on. When I entered I saw a huge wanted sign for 5,000 gold coins.... and the person that was wanted.... was me. ''Shit, shit, shit, fuckity, shitty, shit shit.'' I knew I had to get out of here fast. Father has quite a bit of influence and I underestimated him. 5,000 is a lot of money and I bet a lot of people would be out to get me. I quickly gathered the adventurers and told them that we were leaving. When we all gathered I threw my bag into the wagon and I heard an "Umf!!" noise and when I uncovered a blanket I found Sylvie. When I asked her why she was there, she begged me with her puppy dog eyes that she wanted to come with me. I didn''t have the heart to refuse her so I reluctantly (happily) let her join us. I needed to hurry and get out of the city-state area because father would be sure to find me soon. We traveled for one week and I made sure to warn Sylvie not to call me Big sis because the others believed me to be male. We entered a forest a few days ago and we came across a cave that wasn''t on the map. "Heh, Looks like it''s a new dungeon. Should we take a look boss?" said one of the adventurers. I was quite curious about what was inside because I''ve heard a lot of stories about dungeons and all the treasure and danger that they possess. So I agreed to take a look and if there was anything dangerous then we would head back out and go back on course. I decided this was a good learning experience for me and Sylvie and I also was kinda low on money so I thought this was a quick and easy way to earn some cash. I mean I was an expert rank in earth magic so I was pretty sure that I could handle anything that this new baby dungeon could throw at me. The first floor had many bugs that were really irritating but with wind magic I was able to create a barrier that kept them away in case they were poisonous. There were small rats and slimes which I had Sylvie use her beginner magic to slay them for some experience. She was able to finish them pretty quickly with her wind blade spell. There were also kobolds and goblins which weren''t much of a problem to the Rank C adventurers. and we were quickly able to reach the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor was actually a forest environment and we encountered new monsters like hobgoblins and there were other dangerous animals such as tigers, bears, wolves and poisonous snakes. But we got through them without much problems. The scenery was still the same till we reached the 4th floor and were in a cave again. The difficulty of the dungeon increased as we got deeper. New monsters like skeletons, ogres, large lizards and devil dogs which hunted in packs were on this level. I actually had to help out this time with my magic or else the others would have had a difficult time and probably would have died. One of the hired adventurers got greedy and saw a treasure chest. he ran without telling us and he fell in a pitfall trap and died. Well... we got the chest and found 100 gold coins which we split evenly. By the time we got to the 6th floor only one new monster appeared which was the silver back ape which was covered in muscles and thick fur and I had to use my rock bullet spell which I created, because I''m a freakin'' genius. The rock bullet spell isn''t as fast as a bullet but it was pretty close and all I had to do was aim at the eye ball and it died. The monsters were appearing more frequently and we were getting tired. I suspect we were in this dungeon for about 10 hours and I decided that if there is nothing on the next floor then we are heading back out. On the 7th floor there was a single guardian and it was a cyclops which I assumed was the boss monster. It was really anticlimatic because I used wind magic to cut its achilles tendons and a rock bullet into its eye and it died. There was a huge red crystal and we all got close to it. I touched it and it began to shine brightly and I had to close my eyes. Suddenly when I opened my eyes again the scenery changed and we were in a big white room. =========== Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Chapter Six We were in a huge white room. There were approximately 100 people in this room and they looked equally confused as I was. There was a black sphere in the middle of the room that was about 2 meters in diameter. Sylvie looked scared and I hugged her in assurance. As I looked around the room some more I saw that there were certain people whose expressions were very calm and passive, like they knew something. There were a variety of different humanoid species that I haven''t seen before, like people with purple skin and I noticed some students that looked like they were from my old world. A voice emanated from the black ball. "Hello, welcome to the God Contestant Games! (GCG) I will be giving a brief summary on why you are here. You have all been chosen to have a chance to become a god! You will all be sent to a different location to complete a "game" and you can earn points from the game to become stronger and eventually reach godhood!" There were some people that were crying and some that were excited. There were a lot of people that were speaking to each other and wondering what these "games" were about. Black cards came down out of thin air and dropped into everyone''s hands. [Alexandra Malford] [0 POINTS] "Now we will choose the game!" said the black ball. Suddenly a large wheel came out (you know those wheel of fortune wheel things?). It was full of spaces that were "???" and it began spinning. After a while it slowed down and it landed on a "???" space. It flashed brilliantly and words were etched on it. [Zombieland] [Difficulty: Very Easy] A bright light abruptly came out of no where and I closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes again the scenery changed and I was no longer in the room. In fact it was a city! A city from my old world. Except... the buildings were all in terrible condition and it looked like a war zone. Suddenly the card in my hand vibrated and I looked at it. [Survive for 24 hours: 100 POINTS] [Zombie:1 POINT] [King Zombie: 20 POINTS] Suddenly a person from our group screamed and all hell broke loose. People began panicking at the sight of the grotesque zombies and the person getting eaten alive. Ayla said, "Quick! Take her and go!" She shoved Sylvie into my arms and I flew away to get away from the crowd. I observed them from the sky and it was terrifying to see how dangerous these zombies were. Now you might think that they were slow and stupid right? Wrong. They were fucking faster than Usain Bolt and had the strength of at least 5 men. To my surprise there were people that were actually able to fight back. I saw one guy transform into a pretty badass werewolf and he was shooting 2 machine guns. There was a female that had a katana and was cutting heads left and right and about 5 others that were able to defend themselves. I saw a group of 7 people that were also able to fly like me dressed in weird clothing and they were simply observing what was going on. I finally found a building that looked safe and I went down to the roof. Sylvie was crying out of fright and I held her close to me. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. While I was comforting Sylvie I looked over the roof and saw zombies were literally everywhere on the ground. I began to create earth bullets and fired them down onto the zombies. My points were slowly increasing 1 by 1. These fuckers noticed me on the top of the building and some went into the building and were coming up the stairs and others were fucking actually climbing on top of each other and were making their way up by climbing the building. I decided it was time to get the hell out of here so I picked up Sylvie and I flew off. I was a fool and let my guard down... I should have been more aware of my surroundings. As I was about to take off a zombie took me by surprise and jumped off from the building next to us and landed on top of me. As it was about to bite me I shoved my hand into its mouth and I could smell its horrible breath. It bit down hard into my hand and I knew I was fucked. I quickly shot a rock bullet into its brain and it died. Sylvie was practically bawling now and I couldn''t get her to be quiet. I needed to concentrate. I immediately took out my sword and in one swift motion I cut off the part beneath the elbow and now all I had was a stump. I cried out in pain and grabbed my new stump intensely while blood rushed out of it. I tore a piece of my cloak and wrapped it around my arm and I grabbed the crying Sylvie and flew off to find a safe place. When I landed on another rooftop of a building Sylvie saw my arm and gasped in surprise. I was light headed from the blood loss and I dropped to the floor. My vision was getting dark and I could heard Sylvie saying something, then I blacked out. When I came back to consciousness I saw that my stump was no longer bleeding. Sylvie was laying down on the lap sleeping. ''Good thing Ayla taught her some light magic or I probably would have died. Too bad she isn''t at the Arch magus level or she could have regrown my stump.'' I checked my black card again and it said. ''Hmm... I think the smart zombie that attacked me was zombie king. Sylvie woke up about an hour later and I made sure she was calm and I explained to her to the best of my abilities of what was happening. She kind of panicked but I calmed her down and told her that our goal right now was to see if Ayla and the others survived and to kill as many zombies as possible. She knew the basic wind cutter spell that I taught her and I was positive that it was enough to kill zombies. With that I gave her a piggy back ride and we went in search of the other members of our group as I randomly shot large rocks out of the air into the unsuspecting zombies. =============== Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Chapter Seven I was flying around in the sky killing some zombies with Sylvie on my back also killing some zombies and we were both happily gaining points. We were at it for about an hour or so and racked up quite a bit of points but then, I spotted seven figures that were floating in the sky and were shooting bolts of energy. ''Shit... Even I can tell that these guys are seriously strong... even stronger than my dad...'' Sylvie was shivering and I knew that I should probably get out of here before they noticed me. But suddenly I heard a loud noise that was headed their way. It was one of those insanely fast military planes that could go mach 5 and it was headed straight towards them. It fired multiple missiles but when the smoke cleared they didn''t seem fazed at all. A few of them laughed at the plane. As the plane got closer and closer I saw a zombie come out of the cockpit. I thought that zombie was fucking crazy. But I was wrong. It was fucking insane. The zombie jumped off at the last second and it landed on one of the floating figures and it bit them. ''Shit... if they get turned then we''re all screwed.'' I quickly found safe spot to let down Sylvie and I rushed towards them. During that time the one that got bitten threw the zombie off and killed it. And within ten seconds he turned into a zombie and he began fighting the others and 3 more got turned. There were 3 of them left. 1 female and 2 males. The female seemed to be the stronger one because she was handling 2 at the same time and the other two were struggling against one of them. Zombies get a boost after they get turned and their strength and speed multiplies. I decided to help the girl first. The zombies were busy focusing on her and didn''t notice me. I snuck up on them and was able to use a wind spell to lop their heads off. The girl nodded at me in thanks and we both went off to finish the others. One of the ones got turned and we had another problem. "Make sure they don''t bite you or else you''ll turn into them!" I yelled at the female. A bright light emanated from her hand like she was charging for a finisher. The two zombies focused on me and they reached me almost instantly. I couldn''t react that fast and a mouth was coming closer to my neck. I felt death''s scythe reach me closer and closer. ''I''m not gonna die like this!'' I felt a strange energy inside of me and I reached out for it. I was practically searching for anything that could help me survive this ordeal. I felt a huge surge of energy come out of me and I had a faint blue aura cover my body. For some reason the zombies felt a little slower and I used this to dodge the attack of one and cut off the head of another. The female was able to finish off the other one and she shot an energy blast at the zombie attacking me and that gave me the chance to cut off it''s head also. The adrenaline rush was gone and I was freaking exhausted. The girl and the guy came up to me and their clothes looked eerily familiar for some reason... The girl slapped me. ''WTF??? What was that for?'' "Hmph. We didn''t need your help! We are Saiyans! An elite warrior race that conquers planets! You are an insignificant life form that is worth less than my boots!" And with that they flew away.... ''Again... WTF????'' I couldn''t believe what I just heard.... Saiyans??? After I got over my shock I remembered about Sylvie and I rushed back to her. Luckily there was no harm done to her and rested for a while because of that fight and Sylvie needed a rest also because she was running low on mana. I checked my card again. I guess that was really lucky for me. I checked the time and it said... [Time: 10:12:55] We still had time left and so Sylvie and I continued our search for Ayla while killing zombies. We searched for hours in abandoned buildings and I think on our 27th one we found survivors! "Ayla!" Sylvie cried out and ran to her and gave her a big hug. Ayla seemed surprised that we were able to find her and we all had a group hug. She noticed my missing hand and she asked what happened. I gave her a brief summary about the recent events and she gave us hers. She was able to get away from all the madness with a group of 4 people that she was with currently. She saved them with her bow and arrows and she ran out but luckily they were able to find a abandoned building and they stayed there since. The survivors all looked to be college students from my world. There were 3 boys and 1 girl. They were really scared. The girls name is Hailey who was a pretty blonde with nice curves, and one of the boys who looked like a playboy tried to flirt with me but I knocked him out. His name was David. The others wanted to tag along but I told them they were going to be a hindrance and that they didn''t have any weapons. So Ayla and I had some alone time which I enjoyed greatly. I mean who doesn''t want to spend time with a beautiful elf while slaying zombies together in a post apocalyptic world? We went back about 3 hours later because we were both tired and we were running low on mana. We rested and went back before time was over with Sylvie this time. Finally our cards vibrated and said... [Congratulations on Surviving! Time is up! You will be transported back momentarily in .... 3.... 2... 1...] A bright light flashed and we were back into the room with the black ball in the middle. ''Wait... Holy shit! My hand is back!'' I''m so lucky that my hand came back! There were only about 14 survivors from my head count and most of the people probably died. The black ball told the new contestants to stay and I saw 5 people leave. This meant that they were probably veterans and were here for a long time and had a lot of experience in this game. The ball explained to us that we were given rooms and we can stay there for a week until the next "game" starts. It told us that with our points we can buy things and it didn''t go into further detail. It told us that if we have any further questions that we could ask our card and it will be answered to us. It told us that our card will lead us to our rooms and we can rest in there. So I followed my card to the direction it was pointing and it led us into a large hallway. Luckily my room was right next to Sylvie''s and Ayla''s. When I entered my room it was all white and had no furniture. I didn''t even have a bed. So I decided to ask my card what was going on. The card replied by saying that I had to buy my furniture with my points. Well that kinda pissed me off. I also found out that I could buy food and clothes and stuff. When I asked how I could access the store the card replied and told me to just say [Shop]. So I said "Shop" and a large window popped up. It had various categories that I could choose from such as... [Food] [Weapons] [Clothing] [Armor] [Skill books] [Super Powers] [Body Enhancements] [Familiars] [Health] and [Miscellaneous] I was instantly interested in the types of superpowers there were so I naturally clicked on that first. My eyes were practically bulging. There were so many super powers to choose from that I wanted like... I only had [ 1,339 POINTS] Before I made bad choices I decided to look at the other categories and I was seriously amazed at all the things that I could buy. There were really cool things like... I shit myself... (not literally) There was a fucking {Pokemon] category. But all of them were so fucking expensive. A [Charizard] was [10,000 POINTS!]. There was a [Random Egg: 100 POINTS] and I instantly bought it. I didn''t care about what pokemon it was I just knew I had to have it. After looking around a bit I decided to buy an interdimensional space ring that could hold an unlimited amount of items and I bought that for 100 points. I also got fucking [Laser Beam Eyes] for fucking 1,000 POINTS! But I got it was a discount and I can only use it 5 times per day with a 5 second time limit for each use. I can upgrade it for the full version for 4,000 more points. I bought an all heal pill that can supposedly heal any injury and or disease/poison for 100 points which I thought would be useful for the future. That left me with 39 points left and I got hella lot of Korean food and had a fucking feast. I bought kimbab, kimchi, kalbi, gamja tang, ramyun, and neng myun. Which all cost 5 points. I also bought.... a black laced bra and a thong.... I couldn''t resist.... As I was admiring my sexy ass delicious self in the mirror Ayla came in abruptly into my room and she instantly blushed.... I mean who knew that in the future they would have freaking [Mecha Robots]? There were awesome Gundam looking robots and did I mention [Light sabers]? In the [Skill Book] section as we looked through them there were things like [Shadow Clone Jutsu] [Rasengan] [Chidori] [Heavenly Steps] [Flash Step] [Dragon''s Claw] [Sharingan] [Summoning Jutsu] [Tiger''s Bite] [Muay Thai] [Karate] and etc. [Body Enhancements] had the most powerful things you could buy in my opinion. Apparently you could modify your body to become a [GOD] which freaking cost 100,000,000 million POINTS. [3/4 GOD] required 10,000,000 POINTS, [1/2 GOD] required 1,000,000 POINTS and [1/4 GOD] required 500,000 POINTS. ''Who the hell can get 100,000,000 POINTS? It was difficult just to get 1,000!'' There were other things like [Ki Manipulation] [Mana Manipulation] [Body Strengthening] [Cyborg Modification] and a lot of other stuff that could boost your body''s battle potential like [Werewolf Transformation] or [Vampire Transformation] As we looked through [Familiars] Ayla looked like she really wanted a pet [Dragon]and [Wind Elemental] as a familiar. But those bitches cost 1,000,000 POINTS also. But you could buy a Dragon egg which cost 1,000 and wait for it to hatch and nurture it but that would take too much time. The only reason I got a pokemon egg was because I knew that pokemon eggs hatched quickly based on my experience in the game and that I could train them to become level 100. I also planned on experiment and seeing if I could teach them skills from the skillbook or if I can do some body enhancements on them to make them stronger. Stolen novel; please report. Ayla eventually decided to get an interdimensional spacial ring like I did which cost 100 POINTS and a Bow which can magically summon an unlimited amount of arrows to shoot and it can change into a bracelet for her to wear which I thought was pretty cool and she got that for 150 POINTS. Sylvie only had 278 POINTS and she was still weak so we were able to persuade her to get a skill book called [Flash Step] It allowed her to move 20 meters in the blink of an eye. Of course she had to train it but I think that in a span of a week she will be able to somewhat be proficient in it. We were tired and well decided to rest and meet up together the next day to begin training. As I was laying in my bed Sylvie came into my room and cuddled up next to me. ''Huehuehuehue... getting to sleep with such a cute elf girl is truly a blessing. Was I a saint in my previous life? Thank you God for this amazing experience... HEY!!! I''m not a pedophile!!!'' The next day we first began training Sylvie.(it turns out that we can change the sizes of our rooms anyway we wanted and could expand it to have enough room to train in) We worked her like a slave (not literally). In order to increase her chances of survival we had to push her past her limits. I began teaching her how to use a sword also and she wanted to learn the Eastern Style. After Ayla and I went through magic lessons with her we told her to work on the skill book that she bought. We then proceeded to work on improving ourselves. Ayla was practicing on a new technique where she imbued light magic in her arrows to deliver more damage. I was practicing my sword skills and magic and eventually moved on to my new superpower and practicing hitting targets with my laser beams. During this time I made sure my pokemon egg was close to me at all times. Just like in the game. On the 6th day of our training Sylvie was clearly showing improvements in her {flash step] skill and could use it 5 times a day. I occasionally sparred with her and it was a really annoying move. She could move behind me in the blink of an eye. As we were training Ayla shouted in surprise. We looked over and saw that my egg was finally hatching! ''About damn time.. It never took this long in the game... hmph... It better be good.'' As the egg was hatching I saw a patch of brown fur coming out. As the unknown baby pokemon tried its best to break free Sylvie tried to help it. But I told her that it has to do it by itself or it would be weak. After a few moments it finally broke free and I was freaking ecstatic. It was an Eevee!!!! I fucking loved Eevees. They were the best! ''Hehehehe... I''m gonna get an Umbreon!!!!'' Sylvie and Ayla''s eyes were shining and they had a hungry look in their eyes. The newly born Eevee noticed me and came up to me.. I guess it had some sort of instinct that I was its master. It had some disgusting slimy goo from the egg and I wiped it off. It was simply adorable and I couldn''t help but to hug it. But I found out that there are some complicated magic such as necromancy or other types of soul magic which are the most difficult. I actually learned a few spells like Alarm which basically alerts me when there is an enemy nearby. This book completely changed me views on the way magic could be used. I thought it was going to eat me and I activated my battle aura and I flew back. The dragon looked surprised by my actions and it roared at me which caused multiple glass windows to shatter and it sent a fireball which it breathed from its mouth to my direction. Heh a measly fireball can''t hurt me at all. With my battle aura on I just casually swiped my arm and the fireball dissipated. The dragon flapped it''s wings which caused a lot of dust to kick up and it flew over to me. It was kind of slow in my opinion but it slowly gained momentum and was beginning to fly really quickly. I didn''t want to cause any damage to the surrounding buildings and people so I flew east and was able draw out the dragon. The dragon kept up with me as I flew and constantly breathed fire at me whenever it got close but it always missed. I wasn''t even going full speed (probably 100 mph) and soon we were out of city limits and it turns out that we were in a desert and I found a deserted area. I went down and the dragon roared at me like it was issuing a challenge and flew down towards me with it''s mouth gaping open in attempt to probably eat me. I used my telekinesis to push it straight down to the ground. It crashed into the desert sand and I forcefully kept it down there with my telekinesis. It struggled to get up but I wouldn''t let it and instead increased the pressure. It stopped resisting. Or more accurately it couldn''t resist. I was too powerful for the dragon. I took out my sword and I cut off it''s head. After I did that I was about to leave but then suddenly a helicopter flew in over head and suddenly the police officer in the copter began to shoot at me with his machine gun. ''What the freak? I just saved all your asses and killed the dragon! Why are you firing at me?'' I could hear the police sirens getting closer so i made the obvious decision and chose to leave. It was seriously easy to get away from the police because I could fly at high speeds that they couldn''t hope to keep up with.
