《Dragon?》 The Beginning "How did this happened" Alex thought looking into a small lake in the cave. He was now 7 foot four with white scales with elegant black wings and a white tail that dripped poison. "Azyth is just around the corner" a deep booming voice. "What" Alex thought a little impatiently " I was just getting orientated with my new body". The boots stopped and he looked around at all the armored humans staring at him with cold glazes. As the humans got into a defensive position as Azyth thought about how do attack. "Well I could just swing my claws" Azyth thought as he looked down at he 4inch claws that looked as sharp as swords. "ATTACK!" They yelled as they rushed Azyth. Azyth looking kind of surprised swung as fast as he could which was alarmingly fast to Alex. Seven men were swiped and went down with fatal injures. This time he tried using his tail and he felt a resounding CRACK. Four of the men were slammed against a wall and died instantly. The Last man blocked the tail amazingly with his shield and swung his sword as hard as he could at Azyth. The sword hit the scales and bounced off only leaving a small scratch. "humph how disgraceful" Alex thought as he drove his claws into the man. The man screamed in agony as the claws drove into him killing him almost instantly. First Encounter Thanks for reading guys really appreciate it ----------------------------------- After Azyth finally started to leave the cave. "Should I try flying or just walking right now" Azyth started to ponder this. After a couple minutes he decided to walk because the humans were being hostile and he didn''t want be seen. Thud...thud...thud his feet were like small earthquakes. Azyth heard screams in the distance and he quickened his pace but he tried to walk stealthy. As he closed on the village he noticed something. They were knights that were chasing and killing people. From the looks of it these knights were less trained then the ones that attacked him. As he went prone in a tall and thick bush. There were two girls one about 20 and the other 9 running from five knights. "This can''t be right" thought Azyth "This is just a slaughter". The girls after watching their parents die right in front of them for the girls to escape were now playing a life and death game. Then the little girl tripped and the older girl stopped to help as they both fell as the knights closed in. "oi guys only a couple more kills and we could get promoted". One of the knights said to the others. The girls could only tremble in fear as they could imagine what was going to happen. Then all seven of the looked around as they saw a legendary sight happening. It seemed as if the ground shook as the seven foot four dragon, Azyth stood up and said in his deep booming voice "How dare you mortals gang up on these two women". The knights started to back up and started to pray as they feared whats was going to happen next. Then a claw came at them with godly speed and speared two of them men straight through. As the other 3 three men watched two of their comrades now just dead bodies dripping with blood on the dragons claw they knew what was going to happen to them. Before they knew it all three of their bodies were pierced as their blood was strewn across the field. Then Azyth looked at the girls and said "Take me to you village and explain along they way". All the girls could do was gulp and nod their heads. The Kingdom of Balar and The Kingdom on Grum peace treaty ran out. Grum started to attack villages on Balar''s land. The girl''s village was the third village that Grum had attacked. Azyth now trying to control his anger asked the girls "what are your names"? The older girl spoke after a moment of silence "I''m Mary and this is Allie". "Thank you for saving"! The Mary bowed and pushed Allie''s head down. "How far from the village"? inquired Azyth. "It is right over that hill" Mary said. The next sight Azyth saw was truly terrible. Most of the houses were on fire with all the villagers tied up at the town center with the knights guarding them. "RRRRRROOOOOOAAAAARRRR" With a might bellow that seemed to shake the heavens. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. The knights looked in horror as they saw a mighty white dragon with devil wings charged at them. Most of them tried to run and were all trampled by the mighty dragon. Only one stood before him with a tower shield and a glowing one-handed sword. One of Grum''s mightiest warriors Archard. "Today dragon you will fall"! shout Archard as he charged forward with his shield a sword. Azyth swiped his claw and only left a mark on the shield while Archard swung his sword with speed. Azyth blocked his sword and turned to swing his tail. CRACK the shield broke and Archard stepped back and pulled out a terrifying two-handed sword. It was a white sword that glowed black. "Behold one of Grum''s mightiest treasures Godly-Reaper!" Azyth closed in fast and swung his claw but the sword blocked it but then he saw something from his left side. The other claw was coming in even faster then he thought possible. CRUNCH Azyth heard the satisfying crack of bones while blood spewed from the wound that almost went straight through him. "Now which one of you is the village Leader"? Azyth asked. "I-I am...I would like to thank you for saving our town from Grum do you need anything?" asked the village leader. "Actually yes I am quite hungry do you have any animals that you don''t care about. In 30 minutes they looked at their sheep flock that was now only a fraction of what it was. Now that Azyth had quenched his thirst and ate his share he felt very relaxed. "Yes sir Azyth there is another problem surfacing" the village leader told Azyth who responded "Okay please tell what is the matter". "Since our village is under constant threat we were wondering if you could protect our village" the village leader asked "Obviously we will provide you with food and try to get an experienced blacksmith from the capital to make you armor obviously we will try to not let your identity leak out. "I will agree to your terms" Azyth said. As night started to take over the sky everyone was mourning their family and friends. Mary and Allie sat there crying over the death of their parents. "Very well strengthen the defenses around all villages surrounding Newdell" The king of Balar Phillis Lytton said as if he didn''t care. "But sir what about sending troops to Newdell shouldn''t we rescue the people in the village"? the guard asked. "No" a stern reply from Phillis "Those people are already done for...no reason to lose anymore lives over a couple of peasants" Phillis said. "Yes sir as you wish shall I inform the General to move out troops"? the guard asked. "Yes please do we need to do this with haste". The king said looking at the painting on the wall of humans fighting a dragon. As the troops got equipped with all they need as they were about to spread out to the villages around where the dragon currently was. "Man wouldn''t it be cool to fight a dragon" "Idiot we would all die in the first five seconds" "Not if we had enchanted gear like the division leaders". The group of soldiers looked at the division leader with hate. They were just rich nobles that had no fighting experience but bribed the king to get put far away from the action as they could. "Alright troops we are moving to Windbrook with all haste"! The soldiers groaned and got ready to move out for about a day away from the capital. "Why can''t we get horses like the upper ranks we have to march all day while they just get to be lazy on a horse. "I don''t know but stop talking I don''t want to get in trouble.". "King Azyth has started moving towards Balar" one of his subordinates said. "Good that will give us time to prepare for the upcoming assault". "Yes very good plan as expected of the very king himself". ''Bah people will do anything to gain a favor of a king'' Francis thought while looking at his greedy subordinates. "Sir what should we do to prepare" asked another. "Get the priests to start enchanting as many of the weapons they can if they are tired switch them with all do haste". "Very well King". "Did you hear we might get our weapons enchanted"! the soldiers were talking to each other. "Yeah but there is a dragon and we might have to fight it". "Yeah but the weapons will be enchanted won''t we stand a chance"? "Maybe but the dragon is rumored to be a ruthless warrior that can swing his claws so fast that even a god might not be able to stand against it. "Everyone in divisions 1, 2, and 3 line up to get you weapon or shield enchanted. They will give you a choice of the enchant you want" (Okay back to Azyth!!) As Azyth was taking a break after lifting most of the heavy stuff for repairs. He noticed Mary and asked her something "Mary I have been asleep for a very long time and have forgotten a lot of things would you mind to tell me the history starting around 100 years ago"? Azyth asked. "Okay It starts off as the last major attack from a red dragon that destroyed many villages was finally brought down by the corporation of the two kingdoms. (Major foul by me here but there are Elves and Beastmen and of course more dragons. After that a peace treaty was made for 90 years for the rebuilding and advancing in discoveries". "In that time priests have discovered through the books of elves how to enchant armor and weapons but haven''t discovered how to cast magic. With that began an arms race on what kingdom could get the most enchanted weapons. Those are now dubbed the Kingdom''s Treasures for both kingdoms". Mary finished. ''Oh so Godly-Reaper was a treasure from Grum. "Has anyone picked up Godly-Reaper yet"? He asked Mary. "Umm I don''t think so". "Very well can you ask Robert(Village leader) to come over here". "Sure" Mary said as she went out to find him. Only a minute later Robert came "Yes I picked up when we were cleaning up debris." Robert said. "Keep it in a safe place you may be able to get a large sum of money from Balar for it". Azyth told him. "Very well I will keep at my house under a board in our house". "MARCH SOLDIERS" the Division leader yelled as rode on a horse while the soldiers were very tired. "Can''t he keep his mouth shut riding on that horse." "Yeah". As they approached a village the Division Leader (Lets just call him Will) assumed was Moonclad. "What village is this"? Matt asked Robert. "This is Newdell sir. The soldiers stiffened up wasn''t this village supposed to have a dragon on it? "Well for the inconvenience you caused me a demand slaves and money from you people" (yes Will is one of Those nobles you know the ''I''m better than everyone type so reward me'')"B-But sir we don''t have enough gold coins to give to you and support ourselves" Robert said. "Well what about this girl over there" He was pointing at Mary who wore a surprised look on her face. "She would fetch a fortune at the slave trader" Will said almost drooling on how much money he would get. He walked over grabbed her hand and was pulling her towards the division when he heard a roar. Azyth stood up from behind the house and walked towards Will. The soldiers couldn''t move due to the fear of dying. "Who is the leader here"? asked Azyth. No one talked so he just assumed it was Will. "Fight me and we shall see who gets to take Mary". Will was petrified. A dragon wanted to fight him. He couldn''t move his body wouldn''t let him. "Very well then here I come" Azyth simply said. No one saw the claw coming. Will couldn''t understand what happned and frankly it didn''t matter anymore because he was sliced in half. Mary who was almost crying ran to Allie who was crying because her sister was going to be taken away and she could do nothing about it. The soldiers just ran and screamed away to get away from the dragon. I posted the chapter quite late. Sorry for that and I was looking at my chapters for mistakes and I noticed something big. I have been doing ¡°. this instead of this ?¡± I have mentally facepalmed myself 500 times over for not noticing something so obvious. Anyways here is the new chapter! _______________________________ Alex (Azyth¡¯s Earth name) woke up startled and nearly jumped out of his bed. (I will probably use a * for thought.) ¡°* was that just a dream?¡± thought Alex. He looked at his body and it seemed normal enough no claws, no tail, and no black wings. Alex went downstairs to find everything normal he was usually the last one out of the house due to his parents early schedules. He found his backpack with all of his supplies as well as last nights homework! As he left his house to walk to school because it was only a couple minutes away. Little did he know in this dream (He is Azyth dreaming right now) he was going to have drastic changes. As he got into school he heard the usual gossip. ¡°Did you know Josh talked Abby yesterday!¡± ah Alex heard about that. Then as he got into the classroom something started to get weird he noticed that some people were starting to grow longer ears or getting even stronger while getting more hair on their arms and legs. Then he heard a booming voice ¡°You have chosen the path of the dragon NOW LIVE ON!¡± Azyth (Back in Azyth¡¯s world) who woke very startled. After regaining some of his composure pondered the voice he heard as he was in the dream. ¡°*Was that how I was transported here?¡± ¡°Oh Azyth are you play I heard some growling and thought I''d check on you.¡± Mary mumbled obviously she only woke up maybe just 20 minutes ago. ¡°Ah Mary I¡¯m doing fine I apologize for making you come to check on me.¡± Azyth responded. (Little bit of a time skip here not a lot though) Three weeks had passed and no harm has touched the Newdell. ¡°Azyth! something has arrived for you¡± Robert yelled very excitedly. ¡°I wasn''t expecting anything¡± Azyth answered. ¡°It¡¯s the armor we promised you.¡± (When he saved the village F.Y.I.) As they brought it out Azyth¡¯s eyes sparkled in curiosity. The armor for the body was steel with gold lines streaking down the armor as they seemed to blend with the steel. Then he looked at the helmet and almost fainted at its craftsmanship was something truly amazing it was an Iron helmet engraved with diamonds and drawings of an elegant dragon on it. ¡°We told the blacksmith that it was for a statue.¡± Robert almost yelled as a crowd began to form. It took 40 minutes to put the elegant armor on a even more elegant beast. ¡°This cost the town a lot but thanks to you even more people were saved by your action.¡± Robert declared and caused quite a few shouts of agreement. Azyth almost felt like laughing. Then saw a giant shadow appear above the Village. Okay I decided to leave this as a cliffhanger sorry! So I decided to leave it up to you.
