    Hero PoV~~~~


    This is way to strange, since i arrived at the demon kingdom i havent seen any army or hostile intention towards me who is supposed to be their worst enemy, and on top of that the Demon Lord sends a small fairy to guide me towards him.


    Im no genius but is he eager to die or is he so sure about his power? Even so i''ve spent to much time training and adventuring hunting in dungeons in order to be ready for this fight. So at least i must be able to kill him at the cost of my life. After all there is no way back home and i lost any pillar of strenght i had after HE was gone...*sigh* this is no time to get depressed i must end this and save the people who count on me.


    As we keep walking i can see some humans mixed between some demonic races, ''they must be slaves, but oddly enough they dont seem to be malnourished or threated harshly...''


    Finally we arrive at the Castle of this Clich¨¦ Demon Lord and cursed tale lets end this once and for all.


    Entering i can see there is no servants its as if its abandoned but i can feel strong pressure coming from the main hall i guess there is where we are headed.


    Fairy:"this is as far as i go, even if the Lord is a gentleman he asked us to not interrupt but know this human, there will be serious consequences if you make the wrong choice"


    After she said the last line i could feel heavy pressure emanate from her, isnt the fairy race supposed to be peaceful and good natured, then why do they follow this bastard, did he corrupted them all along?


    After she leave im in front of a big double door entrance towards the main hakm where this whole conflict is to come to an end, so lets get it over then.


    Pushing the doors and finally making my way towards the center i spot a figure that from my view looks human but oddly familiar.


    Demon Lord:" So the old king finally sacrificed his third daughter for the sake of trying to summon you again and this time i was not there to save you from this whole hell i see..."


    His voice was familiar but i cant see his face, and what does he means with again and to save me?


    Demon Lord:" how long have you been here in this world my dear Chris? I''ve been here for 2 years and 4 months 15 days, and as i always knew you were smart enough you can make some calculations to understand something from this information."


    Whats all that crap he is pulling, i''ve been here for 1 year and 2 months but something is weird and i start recalling some past events. 2 years ago i was still at my world and with my childhood/boyfriend...you have to be kidding me.


    Demon Lord:" Looks like you already got a clue so lets end this charade and show my face."


    The Demon snapped his fingers and the lights on the room began to illuminate all the place finally revealing his face and a second pressence behind him.


    But the true shocking problem was the face of the Demon Lord....who is not so demonic.


    Hero:" you''ve got to be kidding me you cant be there is no way...."


    I''m starting to cry while my knees are trembling, this has to be a lie HE couldnt be the bad guy his principles conflict with each other. Suddenly i recall the specific orders the King gave me.


    *Kill the Demon Lord on sight no chance for retaliation and bring my daughter safe back home*


    He isnt the boy i used to know so i must not hesitate.


    Demon Lord:" Hold on your horses, before doing something you''ll regret for the rest of your life"


    ''The heck is he talking about''


    Charging at him with the Holy sword ilnezar, i am able to see the Demon Lord making a sad face but moving at all.


    In a couple of seconds i reach him and he receive the sword willingly... ''where is all the pressure i could feel before entering this room''


    And the it happened, the sword is supposed to be the bane of the demons and its strenght is a fact i''ve already tested over and over in those dungeons...''but why does it have no effect on him at all''


    Demon Lord:" so are you finally done with the charade of the Demon Lord and the Hero? Christine Fayn¨¦!!"


    The shout he gave when he called my full name had such power that numbed the arm that was stabbing the sword on his chest and im forced to back down and fall on my knees due to the huge pressure in the hall.

    Demon Lord:" So this is the so called ''strongest holy sword'' unfortunately im still pretty much Human, strongest and above all the other races but im still human, it should be easy to know why this thing doesnt work on me"


    Looking at his chest i can see he is bleeding from the sword but there is no other effect...meaning...''no this cant be true''


    Demon Lord:" it is as you have already thought i''m indeed bleeding and most likely to die, but congratulations hope you dont regret the choice.


    Elena you know me already and know whats gonna happen so dont panic and tell her what she needs to know, and remember no matter what survive."


    After saying that the Demon Lord took the sword and pulled it out of his chest and stabbed it on the floor, while slowly walking away.


    This have to be a cruel joke this cannot be true how can fate be this twisted.


    Female voice:" Calm down Hero, its not that bad yet...just calm down and let me introduce myself.


    I''m princess Elena from the Terius kingdom, im the ''excuse'' for this madness and round about the Demon Lord being labeled a criminal of all human kingdom, and yet we both are humans who have seen the worst side of the humanity and hence forth the reason we forsake our own kingdom, every single deed was done by Val, but i can tell you i''m the one who asked for it and we saved more lives than those who were lost and deserved their ending.


    But know this from what he told me about you i can say you would at least listen to reason, but seems that you became nothing more than a puppet of the human kingdom. And i just cant believe how he remained so devoted towards you, and he was so happy to finally be able to meet you again, but to be stabbed like that...*sigh*..."


    She started looking at me with pity and a little bit of anger but why does she speaks of him as if she knows him...could it be that she likes him? Wasnt she supposed to be brainwashed by him? Was he brainwashed by the entity who is in his body?...but why in god dam hell did he just let me stab him, and on top of that the Holy sword had 0 effect which means there was no evil soul or evil magic inside of him...


    And thats the moment i started crying like a little child...everything was starting to make sense but why would the king do that...


    Elena:"i guess you are finally aware of the big mistake you have commited, i will never forgive you and sadly while its just a sword injury it still comes from a holy sword and cant be healed by common regenerative power or healing magic...only the gods can do something but there is still the matter of the prophecy...and if worst come to happen, know i wont let you get even 10m close his body..."


    Looking as i was the worst kind of monster, but i dont blame her after all, its already done i cant go back and indeed if worst come, he will die ...only the gods can do something but they dont meddle with mortals affairs...''i swear that if he stops breathing i will have that bastard kings head im the top of a stick and hold it infront of the central plaza in Terius'' i have never thought of killing other human beings but if this thing is what i think it is he will have a lot to explain and even if there is any reason behind it, there is no way forgive how he manipulated me into killing the only person i would never dare to harm...and he didnt even defended himself...such a cruel fate just how could this happen...

    This is a story with a semi dark tone, its not complete dark due to the path our Mc''s troup¨¦ will take along also i want this serie to in at most 10 chapters of nearly the same lenght as this one with constant change of views between both of our main characters.


    This is also only the prologue which is a little preview but know that it will start with the relation between both the Hero and the Demon Lord.


    So hopefully people will have a good time reading this, also the chapters will be in ever 2 days since im starting my new scholar cycle and im a teacher at a highschool so its gonna be rare to see realeses daily lol not that ths story is that big.

    Hero PoV~~~~


    Elena:"I cant do anything as i promised Val and you are blessed by the gods, but know that this was your choice and no one else"


    Looking at me with eyes full of hatred, ''what is wrong with this girl...she was supposed to be kidnaped by him''


    Elena:"so what is the pathetic excuse my father told you about me being with Val? Kidnap? Rape? Slavery? Or did he said brainwashing which doesnt exist in this world?"


    The f...brainwash doesnt exist in this world?


    Hero:"doesnt exist? Explain yourself please"


    Elena: "brainwashing magic is too dangerous, if it was used it would most likely end in a brainless slave...he is no better than a zombie, so why even bother with that kind of magic, anyways you should take a pick at that memory crystal at the table, you will see the truth with your own eyes and mind, and hopefully the gods will not forsake his life."


    Memory crystal i believe the name is self explanatory, but its just a record of the person in question the amount can be from the start of one being aware of their existence. There is no way to modify this item once it is already recorded so its pretty much a legit way of getting the truth, this also works as a lie detector in the human kingdom.


    Walking towards the table i can feel a massive pressure coming from above the room we are currently in, i want to go with him, but how can i even face him after stabing him without giving him the benefit of the doubt...''im such a reckless pain in the ass''


    I finally reach the table and pick up the crystal, just by infusing a little of our mana we can proceed to revive the data inside and is like living the moment except from the physical damage, sometimes its dangerous due to psychopaths mental states and memories but for most of the time its safe.


    I proceed to infuse the crystal and finally now what will be the reason of my current fate...

    Demon Lord PoV~~~


    11:45a.m. school library


    ''Well this is kinda unexpected, here i was wasting my time sleeping in the library but now im standing infront of my childhood friend Christine, now i know what kind of thing is this the only problem is that im way too prideful to let her take that step first instead of me, i mean after all i''ve always beaten her in everything else how can she do this to me''


    Christine: "So emmm...like you see...i was...wondering...if you would....emmm...you know...i liked you since middle school...and i want to go out with you...so...um would you?"


    ''Dammit it all how can you shatter a mans pride confessing first i hate you!!!, of course thats a lie  i cant hate this girl *sigh*''


    Valerius: "why..."


    Christine: " uh *sob* so thats a no? *sniff*"


    Valerius: "no for god sake dont cry i dont mean that, i mean why now, we are only at the half of our school year, there is nothing important, nor critical to confess, this is just a random day where there is nothing but our common routine of school-sports-library-home, you could have done it at the end of the school year to make it more dramatic. Or do it on Valentines day, today is just your common june 15th nothing good nor bad"


    Christine: "it''s because  Lily said that if i didnt take you quickly someone else would snatch you from me *sob*"


    ''I see so this girl was being insecure and with a little push from her friends she had no other choice than take action *sigh* to think my plan would be ruined for such a trivial thing''


    Valerius: "Chris you should know better than anyone how i am, i may be smart and good at sports but i lack on the way of social community, i suck at making friends and on top of that my looks are average, other than you and Lily i have no other friends"


    Christine: "thats only because your selfsteem isnt right, you''re a good guy who always think of others first and willing to take the hit for others, if not for you being sleeping most of the time in the library during your free time then you would be totally popular"


    ''Ugh...that was a critical hit...she knows me too well i cant deny the fact that my selfsteem is low due to my odd attitude during middle school, after all i was engrosed on reading everything i could find...''


    Looking at Christine i dont dare to say no to her, those green crystaline eyes are a mortal weapon against me, she maybe small in height but she is still well built those hips and that ass...*ahem* her black hair reaching all the way until  her neck is also beautiful i cant do anything against her after all i will have to admit defeat this time nothing more to do.


    Valerius: *sigh*"i also liked you since you were the very first one to get close to me, if not for you i would still be wasting most of my time reading instead of having fun with friends, also i cant realy say no to you when you look at me with those eyes...so the only thing left to say is, i love you"


    She was crying again, wait what did i said something wrong? I knew im bad while expressing myself but i thought all i said was good


    Valerius: "wait why are you crying, im sorry if i said something wrong"


    Christine: "uuuu *sob* no its not that *sniff* im happy that i finally was able to say it, after all this time, i would always get jealous over random things such as you lending you notes to every girl who asked you"


    ''Uh? So thats why she didnt want to talk to me the whole day? I mean...i dont even know the name of the girls, and everyone asks for them even the boys in our classroom.''


    Suddenly she jumped at me and proceed to hug me.


    Christine: "im finally happy to be able to monopolize you now ehe"


    ''Oi monopolize me? Well i guess i cant deny her rights''


    Valerius: "so you''re going to tell your friends? Just please dont shout it, at least i dont want your fan club harrasing me 24/7 like when we started highschool"


    Christine: "un~ i will tell only Lily i wont tell anyone else yet."


    Then suddenly our love bubble exploded when the whole place darkened, ''the fuck? We are inside a building and the lights are still on''


    The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.Then the floor began to shake and when i looked down i saw a circle with weird symbols i''ve never seen before starting to glow, ''this cant be anything good''


    Pushing Christine away from me breaking our hug and happy moment, the light of the circle became brighther and the last thing i saw was Christine with a pale face and crying, screaming something i was not able to hear. Then everything became white, i was not able to see anything else, ''was that circle some kind of mechanism? Explosives? Heck even alien technology? Magic? It doesnt matter this looks like im dead? Well  i cant say, but oddly enough i still feel alive''


    Then sudden darkness embraced me and i was standing infront of  5 people with red robes and at my feet there was the body of a girl who looked to be 24~y/o or something...but she looked to be unconcious...


    Robe guy1: "-----------------------------"


    Robe guy2: "---------------------------------------"


    It looked like they wanted to tell me something but they were talking in some weird language, then suddenly one came with a ring and attached it to my middle finger.


    Robe guy1: "can you understand us now?"


    I nodded and then proceed to ask


    Valerius: "errr, where am i and am i even alive? Or what happened to me?"


    Robe man3: "you are alive, and you are in a world know as Venithas, you come from another world, we just want to borrow your power for the sake of humanity"


    Power? Is this one of those ''sent to another world'' scenario''s like in Christine''s light novels?


    Valerius: "err i would be willing to help, but i think at least im a common human and nothing extraordinary, also from where we are from we dont have magic so i dont know if i will be useful."


    Then i heard as if a gigantic door opened and turning to see what was i see a clich¨¦ fat king with a big crown and a scepter in hand.


    ''Well i really think that the clich¨¦ stereotype of fat/ugly/pig king being evil is just that, nothing more than judging a book by its cover''


    Walking towards  a chair in the middle of the hall we were standing, the king proceed to sit and look down on all of us.


    King: "I''m Albert Estervius Cravender and i welcome you Hero to the Kingdom of Terius the biggest human kingdom and one of the last kingdoms of humanity."


    ''Last? Is there some kind of all  out war scenario? Demon king? Or just apocalypse? Gods are angered? Mmm well humans through history arent exactly that smart, after all we are greedy creatures who do stupid things for stupid reasons sometimes. For now lets get the info on the circumstances''


    Valerius: " im more than willing to help if its in my hands, but can you enlighten me, i heard you said this was one of the last kigndoms?"


    King: "indeed young hero it saddens me to tell you that humanity is only left with 3 kingdoms, but i suspect one of the other 2 kingdoms is allied with the demon forces."


    ''So the problem is the demons uh? I guess it is that kind of scenario, but im no expert in this...Christine would be more fit to be here...wait...What if she was the one to be pulled here? After all i lf we talk about righteousness she wins the prize...my justice isnt exactly the best but im willing to take my place and that is behind the scenes...well i dont think i should keep thinking about whats done is done''


    Valerius: "So the settings here is something like this correct me if im wrong, ^the evil Demon King and his army of demons are killing everything in their path to conquer the world^ am i wrong?"


    The people in the room were making faces as if they could not believe what they heard.


    King: "Are you able to read minds? It is indeed correct young hero, the demon king is using his troops to erradicate us humans and out of our 10 kingdoms only 3 of us are still here. Lucky for us we discovered the summoning ritual that our ancestors used on the last Demonic/Human invasion."


    ''I see so it is indeed that setting. Well no use in getting more info about that, i should ask if i indeed have any power to help them.''


    Valerius: "unfortunately i cant read minds but i have read of similar scenarios in fiction books so i get the gist of it, so now can i get to know i have any power to help you fulfill my role in this world?"


    King: "well indeed i like your attitude young hero, you seem smart so i hope you can indeed help us. Bring the power crystal to test his innate power."


    After that a tall guy wearing a red armor came inside the room with a diamond like crystal in his hands and came close to me.


    Red knight: "please place your hand in this crystal to test you potential"


    I proceed as instructed and what happened left me speechless. The crystal began showing black light from inside with some red spots, after that it became green and then nothing.


    Everyone on the room had an expression unexplainable, but i got some discomfort from them, something felt wrong from this atmosphere.


    King: "Take him to his room, we need to discuss this, young hero feel free to ask for anythong you requiere, the thing revealed in the crystal is an unprecedented fact and we need to investigate this matter beforr advancing"


    ''Somehow i felt like he was lying but why?'' I was guided to a room with considerable space for a whole family to live...well its a castle whats there to not be expected...


    ''I need to be careful i felt something wrong coming but i cant shake this feeling.'' I spot a jar with water on the table and so i proceed to serve me a glass of water, drinking while trying to shake this feeling, unfortunately i cant but i have no other choice than rely on them, after all we are humans. And we must help each other to survive this crisis, like it or not im part of this world at the current time. And so in part of this war i guess?


    After that i start feeling dizzy and fall uncouncious...
