《Experimental human in the new world》 [Vol 01] Chapter 01 : Day 1 Author''s note: First, hello and thank you if you are reading my new fanfiction, second, I plan to finish my new project unlike the others since now I am in holidays and have the time to write. So first for this story I''ll tell you that : ¡°Don''t judge with the first chapter, read the second one at least because a lot of things happen in the first two chapters which will completely change his way of thinking.¡± And lastly before you staart reading, I''ll post a chapter or two every week. Let me tell you how this day turned into something unbelievable in our great humanity''s standards. But first I''m going to present myself, so my name is Kayne Alford, 17 years old, 1,80 meter tall, 70kg, black short hair and green eyes, I live in a small town in USA which was never heard of. I''m the most common guy you can encounter in your life except my total disgust toward any other living beings than humans. To say the truth I think I''m not really common since I can''t accept that other species than humans have power and walk freely as if they are our equals. Well I already have a bad time when it comes to talk with humans because yes ! I just barely acknowledge them as a free living being and it''s really hard to communicate with them. Before you ask, I am also human and I think that I would prefer to be a pebble on the street than having a pet. Hmmm sorry I got off track there, so I was saying that I don''t like nor hate humans and hate other living beings because they stink. Joke aside, I don''t want you to misunderstand my feelings about life and think that I am some weirdo who want to commit collective suicide with the entire humanity, I want to live but not with others. Why I hate other living beings ? It''s simple really, I just can''t accept them, it has begun when I was five years old and killed a cat because he stepped on my toys. I took a wooden stick and hit him until he died then I left as if nothing happened. Since this day I knew that other races than humans are weak, they can''t harm us with their strength. Because humans are true killers, they are murderer and they don''t stop at killing other species, their thirst for blood never end so they kill each other in wars, going as far as doing genocides. Since the life left the cat I understood that the true ruler of the world and this universe are humans, but due to such thoughts and acts I was never accepted in society and stayed away from people who though that all lives are equal. I don''t understand why they would step on ants and kill them without being aware of it and at the same time protect a dog. The gap between our strength is so huge that killing an ant and a dog is no different in any ways. Distancing myself from others humans I finally understood that they hide their true nature, at the age of ten I learned a new word ¡°bullies¡± I saw three boys of my age beating someone in front of me and laughing as if their true self were being freed. I left as if I never saw it and was distancing myself farer and farer from humans, being secretly disgusted by their false nature but relieved that I was not wrong about our us. A few years after and I couldn''t even talk to others, at home my parents called some doctor to see if I was a retard or something but he said that I was totally normal. The only times I would talk were for ¡°good morning¡±, ¡°good night¡± and ¡°thanks for the meal¡±. My parents began to think I was really weird and they also stopped to talk to me. Don''t get me wrong, I love my parents but I don''t feel like talking, it''s too troublesome. So finally getting to this day, I woke up like always in the same room in my high school, I live in a dormitory to prevent bad things to happen between me and my parents. It was 7 am and I was ready to go to class, this morning I have history and biology. Making my way to the classroom I avoided everyone, feeling no need to be near them. Finally, reaching the class I sat at the back of the class and placed my desk a little further away from the others. Waiting for our lovely and beautiful teacher who certainly was in her mid twenties giving her looks, 1,70 meter tall, blond hair with blue eyes and the right curves at the right places. Every men and students drooled in her back, seeing such a sexy figure but I am not interested by those kinds of weak emotions, only my thirst for blood is interesting. Also, I was left alone in my class since someone tried to talk to me and I just ignored him and got away before puking on him. At the end of our class I used the ten minutes break to go buy something until I heard a voice in my head. ¡°I am your creator also known as God, weak humans and I am sick to see you kill and destroy everything just to please you. So I will punish you, I''ll make your nightmares come true and shatter all your hopes of survival. Before I explain what danger awaits in your new world, I''ll let you join whoever you want for one hour.¡± ''What the hell ?! What was that ? I''m sure someone insulted humans, so he must love other species, he said he''s a god.... wait am I dreaming ? Is it a nightmare ? Wait.... I better see if others also heard the voice.'' When I looked at everyone and saw faces of disbelief I understood that I was not the only one who heard this. ''But wait.... if someone talked in my head then it must be an alien right ? Invaders ? I will never let them take our world!'' While people were getting agitated by the event and got out of the school to join their family I was still standing at the same place lost in my thoughts. ''Why are they following orders from something they never saw, moreover there''s high chances that it''s not human, like hell I will go back home or stay with others, I will not change my daily life for you son of bitch!'' I walked back into class and sat at my desk waiting for the shit like being who talked earlier to announce with his disgusting voice which make me want to puke, what will happen. *** One hour went by and it talked again. ¡°So good day humanity, I will now let you know that your punishment for your kind is decided, your world will change, monsters will appear, living will be hard for every humans and a system will be set to increase the difficulty of your environment with your evolutions. I am not a fool who don''t use this chance to gain some entertainment so I''ll add something which will help you, RPG functions such as status windows, skills and class. Fear not for you will have one month to train with weak monsters until I launch the increasing difficulty option of the system. And don''t forget, I didn''t come to this world to bring peace, nor did I to bring power, I came to this world to bring nightmares.¡± ¡°So it''s like that.... a god huh ? It must be quite strange to hold such power, hmm.....¡± Letting madness take control over me, I recalled the time when I played MMORPG just to annihilate other races, ahah it was fun, but now with what this strange being who named himself as god did, we will live in a strange world, filled with other races.... ''I can''t allow it.... I will become as powerful as.... no more powerful than a god and will make all races on the world obey humans.'' What Kayne didn''t know was that a god never create something which can harm him.

Help Option
The system of your world consist of different things but this you will be only explained three of them: First of all, your status window, like in a game you have access to your status, to open it you have to say ¡°Open Status Window¡±, you will see that you have different stats but nothing will be explained until you discover it yourself. Moreover, there is now skills, you will be able to learn certain skill compatible to your class, until you reach the level to have a class you will be limited to three skills. These skills will allow you to do impossible things, there is two kinds of skill, passives ones and actives ones, to use a skill you just have to say the name or follow what is said in its description. There is also an inventory so you can store ten different things inside, to open it, say ¡°Inventory¡±. You will have to search to obtain new informations.

Well what was that blue light.¡± When the window appeared I saw a blue light from behind me so I turned back and saw a disgusting naked goblin.... ¡°Your race doesn''t deserve to live.¡± Something was written above him: ''I should kill him to get some exp, ahah.'' I began to run at him before he could see me and kicked him on his left side, sending him fly in the wall. He only lost 10% of his HP, so I picked a chair and hit his still confused body until he died.

¡°Better keep it.¡± I put the life coin in my inventory as well as a few chairs, well it seems that I can stack up the chairs on a single slot of my inventory so I took all 30 chairs of the classroom and began to walk out of there. When I opened the door I heard someone screaming then a head flew at me.... it was the head of a blond girl, well I''m not sorry for her, she was surely someone who loved pets. ¡°Better hid before the thing which killed her see me.¡± I waited inside the classroom and a three meter tall monster with two axes, one in each hand, it was a Minotaur, with the girl''s body in his mouth. He has a human''s body with a bull''s head, covered in muscles. ''A new target for when I''ll be stronger....'' I waited until the Minotaur was far from the classroom and I got out of it, I ran in the other direction, my goal was to reach the infirmary but before that I heard some noises coming from the toilets so I sneaked inside. There was four goblins in the toilets, eating a human, I took a chair from the inventory and ran to the goblins, I sent one flying on the wall with a kick while I hit another one with the chair. The first lost 10% of HP and the second 7%. A goblin began to bit my left leg and I lost 2% of my HP. I threw the chair at the other goblin and took the one biting me by the head and smashed it on the floor multiple times. ¡°You fucking bitch ! How dare you harm me lowly creature ?! I''ll kill you and all your kind !¡± Screaming like a madman and smashing his head on the floor I gained a new tittle.

When his HP dropped to 0 I stood up and saw that the goblins began their rush toward me which made me smile. I took another chair and hit the first goblin with it, sending him in another goblin while the third one jumped at me and bit me on the right shoulder, making me lose another 2% of HP so I began to run toward the wall while the goblin was on my shoulder.... He was smashed between me and the wall, losing 20% of his HP. I then stomped on his head, picked this goblin by the leg and used him as a weapon to hit the goblins.... After three hits he died and I had to use others techniques such as ripping their eyes out of their socket and smashing their body like a hammer on the walls.

¡°Well it can be useful.¡± After waiting for my health to regen I headed to the infirmary, on the way I killed two goblins but only gained 5 exp for each kill, well it''s better than nothing. When I was about to enter in the infirmary I was hit on the left by something heavy and was projected a few meters away from the door. When I looked up to see what hit me, I saw a fucking goblin as tall as me. I lost 15% of my HP with a single hit of this bitch, he will suffer, there''s no way I''ll run like a coward in front of a goblin. I stood up facing him, he was wearing dark brown fur to hid his manhood, he has a staff in his hands, I want it. My body began to run toward him, when I was near him I tried to kick him in his private parts but he jumped back to dodge. This time it was his turn to charge, when he was about to hit me with a horizontal blow from his staff I took one step back to avoid it and picked one of my chairs which surprised him and let me enough time to hit his head with it. The chair shattered but he was stunned, how do I know it ? Well....

So I made him fall on his back and took his staff to pierce one of his eyes then he cried in pain and I used this opportunity to put the staff in his mouth and used as much strength as I could to force it down his throat until half the staff of one meter and a half was in his body. It was so painful that he couldn''t move any more so I stepped on him again and again until he died.

Except the life coins and the staff the goblin let a book on the ground when he died.

It''s getting hard to level up with those monsters so I decided to search for stronger ones to kill, since it''s a dungeon there will be rewards if I finish it before the others although I don''t know if there is still another human in the school. *grumble* It was my stomach.... well maybe if I eat some goblin''s meat.... no better not try to eat that thing, it just disgust me. So I stood up and began to walk in the direction the Minotaur has taken yesterday. After five minutes of walking I encountered a hobgoblin who seemed to be slow now that I was on the same level, so I took out my staff and began to run toward him. I hit his right leg and he fell, I then used a needle to pierce his eyes and killed him with my fists. I think that the farer I go in that direction the stronger the monsters will be and if it''s true then that''s good. Before I could stand up I felt sharp pain in the back of my head and fell unconscious... ¡°Aaaaaaaaaaah !¡± I woke up by a very painful sensation, when I opened my eyes I saw a goblin two and a half meters tall, it was an orc. ¡°What are you doing you- Huff ?!¡± Being annoyed by me, the orc punched my face and I received the status ¡°stun¡± for two minutes. While I couldn''t move he smiled and took out a sword.... ''Oh no.... I don''t think he will let me live.....'' He then stabbed me and the ¡°bleed¡± effect was put on me, losing 10 HP per second.... ''I really don''t want to die.... shit.... I can''t even move my arms and legs.'' ¡°Gruuuuuuuuuuurg ! UrgUrgUrgUrgUrgUrgUrgUrg!¡±, The orc began to laugh at my misery and I couldn''t help but let him do as he wants, since I''m too weak to beat him. ''What will happen after I die ? Are my parents going to be OK ? Is my sister going to be OK ? Is my family going to die like me ?.... No ! I don''t want to let them die ! They''re the only people who deserve to live ! The rule have changed in this new world, but me, as dumb as I am I didn''t change mine. It''s not a question of killing other non human beings but a question to get stronger if you want to live.... And now it''s too late.'' When my HP got to less than 20% a white robed man approached me and killed the orc, hope surged in me until I saw the writings above him. ''Oh god.... I sure have no luck today....'' He healed me with magic I presume since dark mist began to spread all over my body and a window indicating that I got healed appeared and I rapidly fell asleep. I woke up once again with great pain on my right arm, I observed what was going on and I saw the same dark mist which healed me last time on my arm. The evil church apostle was also there, but this time he used his dark mist to destroy my arm. It was so painful that I fainted after ten seconds, when I opened my eyes my right arm was missing but my wounds were healed. ¡°Ahahahahahahahah !!!¡± When I heard a loud and sinister laugh I turned my head in its direction, it was the apostle''s laugh. He was before all kinds of recipes filled with different liquids, all of different colours but the most impressive one was the smaller, crimson liquid with purple hues moving toward the top and dark blue lightning like things appearing every moments you look at it. When the apostle turned back toward me with an evil grin he came toward me with syringes, a lot of them filled with dark yellow liquid, I knew it was not to greet me. When he put all the needles on my right shoulder a window appeared.

''Oh great.... I feel like I''m going to suffer before he lets me die.'' ¡°Aaaaarg !¡± Feeling this much pain I couldn''t help but scream in horror and fear but before I pass out the apostle used two others syringes with yellow liquid and pierced my eyes with it.... then I lost consciousness. I can''t see anything..... I''m awake but I''m not able to see any more.... I hear him laugh like a mad scientist, then he open my mouth and pour a liquid inside, I''m forced to swallow, it burns my insides and the pain I feel is so important that I can''t even lose my consciousness. After what seemed like years of suffering I finally fell asleep. Time after time I suffer, new things enter my body then pain appear, I lost all my sense, only my mind remain and I can''t say that it''s in a good shape. I began to see things which don''t exist in my mind, I hear voices even though my senses are not present. I can''t think of anything else than pain, it doesn''t matter any more... all my life, my thoughts toward other species, my feelings, my humanity, I just want to disappear along with this son of a bitch who did that to me. Time passes and I lose more and more of my sanity, since I lost my senses, my pain was only in my head... I discovered this fact while talking to me. Now the only thing which divert me is the presence of beings in my mind, well they''re not true beings but my brain create them as well as the constant pain that I feel to stimulate my senses. After an eternity of suffering something happened, something out of the ordinary, I heard loud laughter, I don''t feel pain any more.... my brain judged it was not necessary to stimulate my senses, why ? I don''t remember.... why were my senses stimulated ? Is it about before I was in the void ? Pain.... pain reappeared but this time it was from something other than my brain, it was from my body.... my fingers, I can feel my finger.... what is it, my eyes... so bright... ''Uh ?! No ! Come back ! Don''t go away !'' Once again the void reappeared and my senses disappeared... For another eternity of waiting I began to sharpen my mind, I meditated on myself and my mind, suppressing any unwanted thoughts and after this eternity of meditating I finally found what I have to do, I have to survive, if I survive I can get stronger, if I can get stronger I can remember, if I can remember I can feel, if I can feel I am alive, if I am alive I survived. So I will survive at any costs, nothing will bind me and every living beings will kneel before me, because I am now ruler of my mind and wish for my slumber to end ! Well it obviously didn''t work- ¡°What the hell ?!¡± ¡°Ah !¡± ''So I really woke up ? After so much time of trying to do control my mind, I succeeded to wake up ! Fucking nice.'' Waking up from an eternal sleep is not as good as you would think, my body ache all over and I don''t see anything except white bright light. After some time passed I recovered my sight and what I saw was a bloody field, corpses of everything everywhere around me, it was so gruesome that I began to lose my sanity, just by seeing those tortured corpses.

I remember it now ! ¡°How foolish of me to think I can kill all those species, of course I can''t in this new world, the only which matter is to survive... but seven months ? I was asleep for seven months ? So the world is even more dangerous now. I have to think of something fast, open status window !¡±

I literally fell since it has been seven months that I didn''t walk but well with some practice it will come back to me. After a few minutes, I succeeded to walk, run and jump like I was used before I was tortured. When I walked out of this room, I saw the white robed man, seated on a chair but there was something different, I couldn''t see any writings above him, so the only possibility is that he died. I approached him and as I though he was really dead... ''I don''t have time to spend here, I got to grind some levels, and increase my skills.'' I opened the door to go out of this place but when I saw what was outside, I smiled, dozens upon dozens of goblins were in front of me. Although it would have scared me if I was the same as before but now, what have I to lost ? Nothing. ''I''ll stay one week here to get stronger, I broke human limits, I don''t need to rest, I don''t need anything, I just want to fight, to kill, to slaughter, to survive and grow stronger.'' ¡°Ahahahahahah !!!¡± I took a sword that I found in the room and ran into the huge mass of monsters, all of them lvl.15 or above. Nevertheless, it''s not a game and in this reality, vital points are the same as before, the head, the neck, the hearth, lungs and other internal organs. So I began to fight like a mad man, I landed the first hit at the back of the neck, the goblin fell on the ground and every other goblins turned at me, stared at me and ran at me while screaming in rage. My slaughter began as I was hit on the leg and lost 20 HP which were recovered in two seconds, then I used everything I could to stab them, slice them, pierce them, smash them and kill them. One hit, one kill, two hits two kills... After nearly dying dozens of times but surviving to kill my next enemy, they all died at my hands. What can I say ? It was worth it, I suffered immense pain but I gained so many levels.

¡°It seems that my health regen is of 10%/seconds, seeing that it increased when I added six points in vitality.¡± I put all the loot in my inventory, there was nothing interesting except life coins. Four days were spent killing every monster I came across, goblins, hobgoblins and orcs, I rapidly levelled up to 25 but now I don''t gain any experiences by killing those weak monsters. I wanted to be at least lvl.30 before the end of the week so I searched for stronger monster, in the beginning all I found was humans corpses and blood all over the walls but I found them, the Minautors. They are now lvl.27, or at least the one in front of me, I took my sword which did 10-15 damages, well only if I hit him on the arm for example, if I hit him on the neck he will surely die or lose a lot of health. I ran toward him, targeting his back, I jumped and tried to slash at his neck, however he moved to the right in the last second and the only thing I hit was his shoulder. He lost 5% of HP. ¡°Ah shit, it would have been better if you died from the first hit.¡± ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR !!!!!!!!!! Like a mad beast he released his blood-lust, took his two handed axe then slashed at me, while I jumped right to left in the hope of not getting hit, it would be overkill if not. After some time passed, I understood something, this beast was following a pattern, it was executing the same combos of three blows each time it wanted to attack. So I used it against him, getting accustomed to his speed, strength and agility, I dodged a last time by lying on the ground and stood up to run at him. It would be embarrassing if I showed this man my madness so I just hid my true feelings and destroyed my enemies. The first jumping monster neared me but when he was near enough I took out my halberd from my inventory and pierced his stomach, then I stepped to my right dodging the low level second monster and took my sword in the same time, I slashed at his left side, cutting open his skin, blood flowed out of him. I turned back at the third one and aimed my fist toward his head hoping that I could kill him in one blow. However, I wasn''t so lucky or should I say, I was too cocky to think that my strength could kill him with a single punch. He actually only lost 30% of HP so when he landed on the ground he dashed toward me with incredible speed and bite my left leg, which decided of his fate. After losing 4% of HP I used my sword and beheaded him. I ran until I was exhausted then I ran jumped everywhere, on all kind of stuff until I got exhausted, then I did basic training such as push ups until I couldn''t use my muscles any more. Six hours were used like that, I didn''t gain any stats and slept. The next morning I did the same training except I used others monsters since I couldn''t find shadows cats. At the end of the day I was really excited since I gained one stats in strength, stamina, agility and dexterity. Of course it''s not enough but it means that my training isn''t useless. After a week my muscles ached so much that I suffered when moving my fingers, nevertheless I didn''t give up and continued. Each day I fought with different monsters again and again, I can now take up to eight opponents at the same time, I try again and again to dodge without a single hit but I''m not able to do it. Now I run in the middle of the streets, jumping over monsters and between houses, using only speed and agility to dodge. I also used knives to fight against low level monster or simply swinging it to increase my dexterity. ''But for how many days or month will I train ? Will I train until I can easily dodge every blow while surrounded by hundreds of monsters ? I don''t know.... I really don''t know.... But there is no hurry, I have all the time I want, I can even train for a few years if I wanted, I need to survive not to travel around the world, and to survive I need to train first.'' Five of them were already in my back so I took one hundred rocks from my inventory and turned a few times on myself while releasing all the rocks at high speed and hit the five monsters, then, before other kleirts attacked me I jumped in the middle of them, killing one with my two daggers by piercing his eyes and damaging his brain. Monsters attacked me from all sides, I side stepped, bent my body, used my arms to change the direction of their blows, counter attacked and used what I could to kill them. I received one blow on my right side, but took the kleirt used my great strength to trash him in the group of kleirt. I''m not even wet with this much water.....¡± Observing my surroundings, all I could see was the cave and a single door, obviously I walked to the door and saw something engraved on it, ¡°You, who seek the path of mysteries, shall enter¡±. ¡°Why mysteries, there was something like that before....¡± Seeing no other way to exit I opened the door and continued to walk down this path but after around one hour there was different kind of writings engraved everywhere on the walls, of course I couldn''t understand a single one of them. ¡°What''s that ?¡± The writings began to glow with red and light purple colours but without taking too much time to see what is happening I continued to walk. ''Another door....'' There was again a door in front of me with the writings, ¡°You, who seek the path of pain and blood, shall enter¡±. When I opened the door without taking the text as something worth worrying about I was overwhelmed by strong pressure and was forced to the ground. ''Shit ! I can''t stand up.... '' Blood began to pour out from my mouth and nose, I felt unbelievable pain just to move my hands, trying my hardest to stand up I succeeded while blood continued to flow out from my body. ¡°Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah !!! I will not die in that fucking cave !!!¡± I continued to slowly walk to exit this place but after one hour I found another door with the writings, ¡°You, who seek the path to your soul, shall enter¡±. ¡°What''s going on ? I seriously don''t understand anything...¡± Without any choices other than walking, I continued, this time pain disappeared but after about ten minutes I began to feel dizzy then after closing my eyes and opened them again, all I saw was the void, there was nothing except a colour darker than black. I was floating and the only thing I knew was that I couldn''t move. ''Where is this place ? Huh ? Wha- ?'' Before I could finish my sentence I was sent in another place.... I remembered where this was... I knew it, it was the place where my brother died... I was welcomed by nine sleeping dragons, all of different colours and shape, one was blue, the other green, red, dark brown, purple, the strongest four seemed to be the golden, the black, the white and the crimson ones. In the middle of these dragons was a stone floating in the air and surrounded by magic circles, well I guess... I walked toward the stone and touched it, then I felt a huge pressure unbearable for me and I fell on my knees. ¡°Pay the price.¡± I heard a voice saying that. ¡°Who are you ?!¡± ¡°It''s true, pay the price.¡± ¡°Yeah, pay the price.¡± ¡°You don''t have other choices than pay the price.¡± ¡°The price, finally.¡± ¡°Eons of life, the price, I want it.¡± ¡°You have to pay the price.¡± ¡°My entire life, waiting for the price.¡± I heard all of these eight voices and when I turned back toward them, I saw the dragons with eyes open, they were intensely staring at me. It seems that the more mana I make enter my body, the more he wants it. After a few hours all this water was absorbed into my body and when I looked at my armour there was also drastic changes. But at this time a dagger flew toward him, the two other men tried to prevent him from dodging however, a light blue thread appeared and attached itself on the young man and he was sent above them. At this time he sent a wave of qi all around him to sent his surroundings and discovered his third opponent hiding in the darkness of the cave. Five others hidden weapons were sent at him but he dodged three of them and took the two others with his hand, by turning in mid air he sent the weapons toward the hidden man, when the two daggers were sent flying a huge wall made out of water appeared and crashed on the weapons, continuing its path toward the young man. When this water was around five meters away from him he concentrated his qi on his hands and two tiny flames appeared, then, these tiny flames turned into an unimaginable fire storm turning the water wave into nothingness. He had now four opponents, the first two men began to run toward him once again and used their martial arts to hit him, but this time when he began to dodge, around a hundred daggers flew toward him from his right side, forcing this young man to dodge using almost no movements, he even used the weapons sent at him by throwing them toward the two men but before all the weapons were dodged he saw very small threads of water on each dagger. It was at this time that he understood, it was a trap, all the weapons were controlled by the water using mana and not qi. When the two old men retreated by a few steps, all the daggers began to surround him blocking all of his ways to escape. In the next second his right eye shined with red hues and a tattoo appeared under his left eye, the young man used his trump card and all his surrounding slowed down, he observed this trap and discovered the weakness, he used the wind created by this trap to create his own water and infiltrate the threads, two seconds later the daggers flew from all directions toward him but when they were just in front of him they stopped. He did something extremely difficult to do for humans, he used his own water mana to infiltrate the other person''s mana and corrupted it, then to stop the daggers which were already flying towards him he turned the water man into ice mana. Without waiting a single second he ran toward the two old men creating two swords with his qi, before he could reach them, his fifth opponent crashed hit his body, however, his fist passed through it since it was an illusion and it was his body which was sent flying by the young man. The two old men ran toward their target but before they could reach him they stepped on a thread made out with fire mana, it was not really fire but just heat and was totally impossible to discover in this dark cave. When they stepped on this thread, a few dozens of magic circle appeared on the ground and were activated sending all ind of spell toward them. It was not the end of this battle and a sixth opponent appeared, carrying a huge mace and was running toward him, he dodged the first blow but the three other opponents fighting with martial arts began to also attack, then a few dozen of water arrows and daggers were thrown toward him one after another. The young man could do nothing but dodging all these blows and counter attack when he saw the opportunity, after five seconds he was finally cut on the right hand with a dagger, moreover it seems that the dagger contained poison yet before this poison traveled through his blood he used fire magic and burnt his hand to crisp and cut it. In this extremely painful process not a single cry was heard from him, not even a single hesitation, his face stayed this same without a hint of pain on it. Although his hand was cut it began to regenerate in a few seconds but his right eye shined and he jumped, just after that five hands were created from shadows and tried to hit him. His eyes turned cold, poison and shadows, there was two new opponents. Without a single hesitation he sacrificed his right leg to escape these shadows. He continued to fight eight opponents at the same time with a face colder than anything in this world, observing and calculating everything. Yet even with his prowess he was hit a few times and once he was hit on his upper body by a shadow, his skin began to turn black and his movements slowed down. He was forced to once again use his illusions, he also created all kind of weapons with his qi and cast dozen of spells, yet it was only sufficient to fight against eight opponents on equal terms, in the darkest place of the cave, a ray of light appeared and in less than a second pierced the body of the young man. Everyone thought that this was over and they let down their guard, in their lifetimes they never thought that they could fall in a trap, or more like they never could have thought that this entire battle was a trap set by a person who practically sacrificed his life for this moment. The whole cave was covered by hundreds of magic circles, they all activated at this same time and all kind of spells were sent toward his nine opponents. Moreover, before they could think of a way to escape they were struck on the ground by qi webs infiltrating their meridians and stopping their qi flow which completely stopped their movements. This entire battle lasted for one minute and two seconds, it can be said that it''s a battle between true masters, but in the next second all the spells and the qi webs disappeared. [Truly magnificent ! Ahahahah ! I never knew you would go as far as to set a trap of this scale to win. Of course I also learned space magic and mana manipulation thanks to Sarali the astral dragon. In the end with three skills I can create all kind of powerful spell without chants and casting time, however it''s a lot more difficult to do it, I have to keep my concentration on my mana and the battle, it''s why I often use runes which I learned to create with mana manipulation and Sarali. Runes are magic circle made out of mana so when I wish it, it will activate and release the command I wrote inside, Moreover if I want to cast an extremely powerful spell I have to create a magic circle with my mana and create the different steps of the spell.

When he touched the ground surrounded by goblins he created lightning magic by combining magic and physics. All the goblins were burned to a crisp. ¡°Ah it feels much better like that ! It hasn''t even been a day yet but I already feel tired... Ahahah, who would have though that a few hundred of goblins would become this strong. Time to find somewhere to sleep.¡± Using top speed to run through the forest, Kayne spotted a cave and slept in it. When he woke up, he left the cave and began to walk in a random direction. A few minutes later he spotted five beings whit his qi. ¡°Let''s just break some skulls.¡± When I arrived where these beings were, I was welcomed by four endermen surrounding a dying person, they approached the girl and began to stretch their hands toward her, black mist began to form on the girl and she floated in the air. ¡°What''s that ?¡± Interested by what was going on, I erased my presence and observed the scene before me. The mist was entering the girl by her eyes, nose, mouth and ears, she began to convulse and her eyes turned white. ¡°Oh ?¡± Her limbs darkened, her bones shattered, her skin disappeared and the mist formed a black sphere around the girl. When the mist disappeared the girl was turned into an enderman... ¡°Mmh ? It''s interesting, I wonder if she kept her mind intact ?¡± While saying such thing I ran around them creating hundreds of water threads to trap them. After finishing that, I jumped high in the sky creating condensed bullet of water and shot them at the endermen. One of them died, while the others tried to teleport but when they wanted to pass through the trap they were cut into pieces. The only remaining one was the girl. ¡°It was fast, but I expected it to be since I already knew how they fight. So what are you girl ?¡± Approaching the last enderman I stopped before her and starred into her eyes, then I saw the name above her. ¡°Sun ? Then, you''re doomed to live into darkness, I''m going to kill you now, I don''t want to let you suffer the same darkness that I went through.¡± Finishing my sentence while remembering the pain I suffered in the past, I created a sword made out of water and cut through her chest. ''But it sure is interesting now that human can be turned into monsters.... or is it just a skill unique to endermen ? Either way I just have to hunt them.'' I cultivated on top of a tree surrounded by thread of mana and qi to know of everything approaching me. Nothing happened during the night and I practically broke through master level, I just have to condense my qi into two balls of opposite forces. When the sun appeared I continued to walk through the forest, searching for something to do. After a few days passed in this boring forest, I collected around one thousand cores and life coins. ¡°Ah man, I''ll just condense my qi tonight...¡± Sitting cross legged I began to wander into my soul, finding my qi which was circulating in my body, I willed it to move toward my head. Normally there are three points to condense your qi into, the first one is the waist, this place is used as a condensing point by those who seek power from qi, the heart is used by those who seek to create with qi and lastly the head is to control your qi. The choice is definitive, so I thought about it for quite a while and decided that if I control mi qi I can strengthen my body and create even if it''s weaker than the one who specialize in it, it''s better to be able to do the two and having better control over my power. When a ball of qi was formed within my head I cut it in two and followed what the dragons told me during my training, ¡°To condense your qi, there is no set method, the result is the only thing which matter..... of course it''s possible that if you do it like a fool you will die.¡± I willed one ball to form a ring and to turn towards the right and the other ball was turned into a ring which turned towards the left. I began to increase their speed several times and approached them. When they touched each other, the rings began to turn faster and faster as if to show to the other that they were the fastest. Willing them to enter each other and to superpose their rings showed no sign of slowing down until it brutally stopped when they perfectly formed a single ring. The power exerted by each ring was nullified by the other, mist then began to form into a ball inside the ring, at the moment the ball was formed it solidified and my qi was condensed. Qi surged from inside of me, and it began to circulate through my body at twice the speed as before, giving me more power. ¡°Ah ! Finally !¡± I trained for a few more days to control my new strength and continued to explore the forest until I found an interesting building made out of black stone, the door was made out of wood with something engraved on it, ¡°Last nightmare¡±. ¡°A nightmare ? A quest, it''s becoming more like a game, like hell I will do such a boring thing, I''ll just find their queen and fight her.¡± After saying that I began to explore the labyrinth, it was darker than I thought but it''s not a problem to me. The first monsters appeared a few minutes after I entered this place, they were ¡°Then I''ll just kill those bitches with my daggers.¡± Running towards them, I created two daggers and jumped above the first human like monster, which had grey skin, fangs and claws. Touching the ground behind him, I turned back and sliced at its neck. I continued to run, dodging to the right side an attack and using lightning magic to destroy the brain of a second vampire doll. I turned my daggers into a spear which I launched towards a third monster then, I ran at a fourth one while surrounding my body with water controlled and condensed by wind magic into high pressured blades of water. Two vampires doll jumped at my back but were instantly cut in two by the water blades however when I my fist reached the fourth monster I made a mistake, I underestimated my enemies. Two of them condensed mana into a ball then they shot it at me from the right and left side. I couldn''t evade the one at the left and was sent flying in a wall. Third person POV : Kayne''s gaze grew cold as he stood up, killing intent couldn''t be felt, no presence could be felt actually. It was as if the person before the monsters was just an illusion devoid of life... it was how kayne was when he took a fight seriously. Apart from the dragons, nobody fought him in this state. With a cold voice as if proclaiming to be the reaper, his mouth opened. ¡°I''ll kill you.¡± Because of his own mistake Kayne could have died if it was a stronger opponent, so when his fear of death came back... he was disgusted of himself and his carefree mind in this world. Underestimating an opponent, something that can cost your life, he decided that each time he will fight from now on, it will be with his cold mind devoid of emotions. Kayne used movement skill from the martial arts he learned and disappeared from his position, appearing behind a vampire doll while its head rolled on the ground. Hundreds of threads were made with water, wind and earth magic and were floating around Kayne as if to protect him from any harm. While he created around a thousand of needles with his qi and launched them toward his enemies, he used his skill to modify his bones to turn his arms into sharpened blades while keeping his hands. With his top speed he rushed at the monster positioned at the rear and cut their neck open. Looking back at the slaughter, he saw some strange worms leaving the neck of the monsters, lvl.18 HP 98> Without waiting he used fire magic with wind to create an explosion burning them to a crisp. Kayne''s POV : ''Fucking ants !'' ¡°You don''t have the right to touch me vampires, fucking piece of trashes !¡± ''Anyway, it''s why they were vampire dolls huh ? The true vampires are these parasites, not that it matters.'' I continued to kill vampire dolls for some time and found stairs to go to the floor below. This time there was not only vampire dolls but also vampire hounds and raven. I killed them without wasting any time and also found the entrance of the third floor. This time, the scenery changed from stones to a forest. I don''t know how a forest could be made here but I also don''t care, I just wish to kill all these vampires. I didn''t find any other stones and began to walk toward the third floor which just contained other kind of beings parasited by vampires. At the end of this floor I found a huge double door made out of steel, there was dozens of chains radiating white light, not allowing the door to open. This text was taken from Royal Road. The doors opened on their own, revealing a town with a palace a magnificent palace at its centre. It was dark, darker than the other rooms. I observed the buildings, made out of greyish stones and sculpted in different shapes, I walked through the streets, there was not a single living thing except from me. This city could have been quite beautiful in the past but now it''s only mysterious, losing its beauty. I continued to walk towards the palace since the queen should be there. Ten minutes later I stepped into the palace, the walls lost all colours as well as the ground, darker than the city I could still see well enough. Walking through the palace I began to see sculptures of people kneeling and pierced by two spears... ''Why are they kneeling ?'' As I said that I saw the thousands of people kneeling, they were surely the elven vampire...then, the one they are kneeling for is their queen I suppose. Walking a bit more, someone appeared in my sight, in front of those kneeling men and women, the queen could be seen pierced by dozen of golden spears and enchained by the same chains I destroyed on the door. How I could know she was the queen ? She was the only one living, like it said, she was cursed with immortality in these forgotten lands. She was quite beautiful, with raven black hair, her eyes open but staring at nothing, a face which could be called as perfect as her body however, there was no emotions.... ¡°I see, so she became emotionless during all these years ? And I thought she had become mad...¡± Touching her pale skin, I reached for her left hand and tore it apart but, it regenerated once again and the chaienveloped her hand. ¡°Regenerative ability as good as mine or even better ? Seeing her level I was a little surprised, Since she''s immortal a weakness doesn''t exist and her HP can''t be put in number.... I began to use mana to create a whirlwind of fire and launched it at her, then, I used my qi to strengthen me at maximum and created a blue spear which was then launched with all my power towards her heart. Her body burned and shook while pierced by the spear but her face stayed emotionless, not reacting to my presence at all. ¡°Well it''s not interesting at all, she has completely lost her mind... there is no hope to hear her cries of pain.¡± Saying that I was preparing to leave but I thought of something which could maybe make her gain her emotions... smiling like a devil who found his new plaything I turned my back at her and talked. ¡°It''s such a waste to leave all those people here, maybe I should kill them to stop their eternal sleep ? I''ll make you suffer !¡± As she said that she tore her own limbs apart times and times again to escape from the chains, and finally after one hour of hopeless struggle I used water and wind magic to create ice onto the chains and they broke like paper... I don''t know if it''s because I''m strong but- no wait ! ''It was written that there was no mana where she was to spend an eternity.... so that means that the chains can''t withstand mana past a certain point ! Ahah I''m a genius !'' ¡°So I will begin.¡± Saying that I disappeared into mist I created and bagan to once again use threads of water with earth inside and ran around her without a sound, I hide my killing intent as if I was not fighting her... When she began to move I found out that she doesn''t need any presence or killing intent to detect me, just my blood... she''s a vampire so it was to be expected. She launched at me hundreds of fire balls. ''So it''s a level 415 monster.'' I protected myself with the threads of high pressured water which cut through these fire balls. I jumped towards a walls and used mana to create lightning and act as a magnet so I could run on the walls while launching arrows towards her with my qi. She evaded all my attacks and created a crimson spear with magic. She began to run at me with killing intent and tried to pierce my heart however, I was trained by dragons. I evaded her attack by standing on top of her weapon with my hands hand used lightning magic on it. She was hit but it was just the first step, while she was momentarily paralysed by my attack I used the threads of water to envelop her body and cut through her skin, I willed the earth powder inside, to enter her body. When I succeeded I hide my actions by freezing the water to make it looks like I wanted to freeze her, but she broke it with one hand and before I was hit I created a clone of me behind her with two daggers. I smiled and disappeared before her by using the surrounding darkness. I created dozens of clones which were sent to distract her while I used the earth I poured into her body to circulate everywhere inside her. A minute later, she was filled by earth but didn''t know it, I willed the earth to solidify and stop her movements. Her eyes went wide when she discovered what I did but I was not willing to let her go like that so I used all my clones and my top speed to run at her from all directions with a longsword and cut her into tiny pieces. ¡°Is that all you got cursed queen ?¡± While I said that a hand reached behind me and stabbed into my heart... ¡°Fool, you think that the great me will lose to a mere human like you ? Die already !¡± I began to smile wryly, to think that she could escape my awareness, but it was her the fool here, while she wanted to take back her hand, I pierced it with my bones, I then turned my left leg into a blade and cut her legs I then cut her hand and pierced her eyes with two needles of qi. I used these needles of qi to infiltrate her body and soul, cutting all access to her mana pool and submitted her to me. ¡°It''s you the fool, to think that I''m a human... ahah, there is a lot of things for you to learn before you can kill me, cursed queen.¡± She was kneeling on the ground her head low and muttered... ¡°How....? Your soul is the same as a human, just stronger than the majority of them... but your body is not that of a human... your blood as well... taste strange... as if an unlimited power was pouring inside me from it.... just what are you ?¡± ¡°Not a human any more, it''s all I know but should I kill those people of your now ?¡± Fearing that I will really do it she said. ¡°Wait please, don''t kill them ! I ! I !....¡± ¡°Ahah don''t worry, it was entertaining... so I will keep my word and leave them be... but it sure surprised me that you could escape my awareness, the fight began by me playing with you while calculating your strength since you seemed strong but... weaker than I thought... Was it not for the last attack forcing me to be serious for a second I would have killed these people out of boredom.¡± ¡°Ah ?¡± ¡°So, prepare yourself, you will suffer a bit....¡± She began to scream in pain when I willed my qi to leave her body, burning her from the inside of her soul. ¡°Now then, I shall leave.¡± Preparing to leave since I finished my fight I was once again intercepted. ¡°Wait ! You are also immortal right ? When I pierced your heart you didn''t die and your wound was immediately healed !¡± ¡°Immortal ? First I want to say that during those 3 weeks of absence I think ? I thought a lot about my fanfiction and it seemed like I was bringing the end of humanity a little too much, which was not like I wanted it to be... so I reflected on it and found two different path that my story will take and of course you will vote for the one you prefer in the poll.... I also have one I like more than the other but I can''t ignore you as well. First path : When Kayne will wake up he will find himself in his bed, one year before the apocalypse, however I found an interesting and fantasy like plot as to why he came back in the past with all of his power of course (it has a link with his class of course). I had a hard time to find a plot for this one and thinking about it a little more, it''s interesting to see how he will react maybe he will save his family ? Second path : When he wake up, a new power will be granted upon him by his race, it will be the fourth one I think ? The plot after this event will of course stay the same but a little modified.
