Ch.6 Knowledge is Power It took 3 for my operation to finish of which my wound is healed but my legs are still immovable I sighed at my sorry self. Ch.7 the iron forge We are planning to arrive in solitude in 4 days time but things happened, some bandits attacked us but we turned the table on them with the drones being piloted by the 3 of us the bandits looked like they were fighting iron men all of their attacked were rendered useless with the metallic frame of the drones. After the bandits have been delt with we scoured their things and their hideout we were planing to resell the stuff they had to kick start our life in solitude it took us 7 days to arrive but when we did the city is magnificent . It had thick walls and guard towers every 10 meters you can really feel secure in a city such as this. The information we got is that solitude is a neutral kingdom and for that they are not as rich as the other kingdoms who joined forces to make war with the elves. Solitude is the kingdom''s name and the capitals as well it is one of the smallest kingdoms out there , the reason that solitude is progressing despite having a small land is that this kingdom has a small refractor. Small but a refractor none the less. When we arrived at the gates to request entry the guards were surprised to our vehicle without being pulled by horses the A.P.C. that we are riding is standing out too much After a long and heated discussion we managed to convince them that it is being powered by a refractor shard. Refractors are made by the ancients of which cannot be reproduced by the current knowledge. refractors are powerful conduits of energy that having one can make you a king and establish a kingdom of your own, while refractor shards are pieces of a shattered refractor in which is low on energy output. Currently refractors are very rare and fought for in wars while refractor shards are extremely expensive, the Guards let us through the gates thinking that we are some kind of rich merchants. The closest thing that the current world has to a refractor shard is a man a crystal which they either mine or find in the monsters they slay. Though these crystals are far inferior to the refractors they are easily obtained. As we enter the city gates lively crowed greeted us all too busy with their own business to even bother to look at our vehicle. With that jason and his two drones entered the camp jason equipped with an assault rifle while the drones were equipped with a small Gatling gun on the right forearm while a tactical shield on the left Jason stood behind the drones for protection but fortunately there are no mages so he can go all out They came on the front shooting from all sides the bandits that have recovered from the shock charged at the enemies with spears and swords, but were stopped by their guns all bandits that charged dropped dead like flies while the arrows not covered in enchantment bounced off harmlessly from the drones. Messenger: by royal edict this black smith has been ordered by Queen Elisif to make weapons and armor for the kingdom of solitude, of course the Queen will pay handsomely for your services, you are required to make 100 weapons of any kind or 100 armors of any kind whichever is you''re specialty within a month. Do you agree to these terms? Menchie: yes we agree to these terms. Tell the Queen we will finish 100 weapons within a week so send someone to collect it with.our payment. The messenger was surprised at the bold statement 100 weapons within a week when they have only few people and despite having just started business today. I might have bitten more than I can chew this time... Drones rapid fire mode give them all you got!!! The soldiers charged at the drones and tried to slash them with swords and steb them with spears but to no avail as their attacks only slid past or bounced of the drones metal frame The drones retaliated with rapid fire gunshots streaming like waterfalls pierced through numerous soldiers unfortunate enough to be in a single file While Jason opted to a more sublte tactic, Jason used his prostethic legs and kick the shit out is the enemies each of his kicks were fast but heavy at the same time anyone hit has their bones broken those that manage to block his kicks were send 2 meters away When the enemies were too much to handle only Jason would use his Uzi and spay the surrounding enemies around him even with armor the soldiers would drop dead When the number of enemies became manageable he ordered the drones to conserve ammo and go for a melee each punch of the drones would go through the armored bodies of the enemy those who saw this trembled in fear and tried to run away only to get shot in the back After 1 hour of fighting in close quarters and chasing stragglers it is finally over and ordered the drones to gather all weapons and armors including all valuable within the hide out. Jason: whew the girls are not gonna believe this!!! Oooooh man how lucky can I get, with this things will get smoother. I don''t know who these guys are but a 1 foot size refractor is fucking worth it!!! Maybe I''ll disguise it as a refractor shard heheheHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
