《Virtual Revolution》 Chapter 1 - The Fire the night was a calm one compared to normal. traffic was roaring and crowds were pushing and shoving as a big game was being released however I did not care. I had just gotten out of some simple Martial Arts practice and did not concern myself with games. my parents told me nothing good comes from them. sure enough I entered my apartment building and walked up my stairs but the fire alarm went off, I was already on the top floor so I just sighted heavily and started walking back down the 48 F***IN flights of stairs. yes this apartment had an elevator but it never worked. I started walking down and saw a hallway full of fire and it only looked to get worse. when I reached the 27th floor there was so much fire that I could hardly see through it... I feel glad I tried. there is a kid standing on the other end of the fire looking terrified. this is just not my day. I ran through the fire covering around 40 meters in around 2 seconds and garbed the kid. "Kid. are you ok?" I asked, looking at him he looked 7-8 give or take. I looked at him and he was was shocked to see me move so fast through the wall of fire. "Spirit Force!!!" He said looking at me. yea, I know what you are thinking, no he did not say something from an anime or manga, in the year 3802 scientists made a brake thorough on the previously mythical energy in the human body that gives extra perks like physical reinforcement like what I use and other powers. known as the Spirit Force. but enough about that, I heard a loud creaking sound as the support beams on the building started to break. I grabbed the kid and started running top speed with the Spirit Force and sure enough I almost made it out before the entire building came down on me, I threw the kid out of the way and into the arms of some poor fireman. I then accepted my fate as the building came down around me but I wasn''t dead, another person with Spirit Force used some kind of Psychokinetic power to keep the ceiling from complacently crushing me, I still lost my legs from just above the knee. I still tried to get up but I noticed me legs were not the only thing crushed, a metal pipe was now severing me from my right arm as my left arm was pinned under some rocks. "Its ok" Said the person who ''saved'' my life. I took one last look and it was a female, her voice was comforting but my vision was bury and ears were not working right. I then notice she was about to be incinerated by the wall of fire that was now exploding from the buildings power generator. I channelled all my Spirit Force into me left arm and lifted the concrete slab keeping it in place and pushed her out of the way before I was engulfed in fire, with no more Spirit Force I felt to full damage, my eyes burnt to a crisp, my ears non existent, and I felt so much pain. I think it is safe to call this an unlucky day but I am told there is always someone worse off then you... at least I don''t have any family that died. my mother is in america on a business trip and my father owns the martial arts dojo that I had just left, he would still be cleaning up the place. for once I am thankful that he is a perfectionist... maybe not, he can use the Spirit Force to make people loose the sense of pain. would be helpful right now... "CALL AN AMBULANCE!!!" I hear the psychokinetic shout after checking for a pulse from my one remaining hand. I slowly loose consciousness as someone who can heal came up to me. way to late for that, Soul Force can be used for small cuts or a bruise but that was nothing, the person healing me felt warm and loving... I loose consciousness not long after an ambulance comes... I couldn''t hold on any longer? my dad will kill me from lack of fighting spirit if this doesn''t kill me first. I feel the presence of 3 people in the ambulance that shouldn''t be, one feels like a Psychokinetic... the other a Healer... and a third presence that is similar to the little kid I just saved... I get out of the ambulance as they place me in a pod hooked up to hundreds of different wires and tubes, I feel like they have one injecting Spirit force. with that I can help reduce the damage on my end and control my body to make it easier on the doctors. it still hurts but for some reason the 3 presences from earlier are near by and I feel a comforting aura in them. I am then forced into a level of unconscious that prevents me from looking to the outside... a pure black void. at least it no longer hurts... ... after some time I start to feel myself being drawn back into consciousness... I no longer feel my Spirit Force. I look around and I was in a white void, my legs and arms were fully repaired and I looked good as new... I was still in the need of a hair cut as I looked like I could be used as a mop and I was skinny enough to be used as one... to be fair that look is normal for me. I said at first mockingly and then more seriously as apart from that It was pay day so money was coming in. but yea the accident didn''t do much to improve my mood. I am Luke Farron, to creator of the Virtual Revolution game and the VR helmet that triggered the fire in your building" Luke admitted and sounded like he gave a wry smile. "I also have to thank you. the Psychokinetic girl tried to save you would have been burnt alive if it was not for what you did but it was not without cost, most your organs and senses are broken. it will take 4 months to heal. since it was my fault I will fund your treatment process" Luke said causing me to smile. I would be healed and in a mere 4 months. it was November 20th so I guess that means I wont be able to celebrate new years day with my family around a table like I used to. but it is only 4 months. it is only a small fraction of my life. I can move on. "there is more. you also saved my daughter so she asked me to help, I feel sorry and also thankful from the bottom of my heart so I gave you a VR device, you won''t feel any pain like this." Like said causing me to almost cry with joy. I was about to thank him but he had more news. "I also have a game installed on the device. total cost of the treatment game and VR device would have been 8,500,000 Yen however I will pay for it. what do you say?" Luke said making me almost to thankful, but I was pulled back to reality. "interesting, now what is the catch?" I asked and I felt Luke flinch. wow. are you hoping to use my as a Spirit Force battery in the mean time, I can handle that since I will just be sitting around in this white space doing nothing... I am not playing your game. "Inside Virtual Revolution, the game you have. my daughter will be playing but she is no good in fights and I don''t trust my self as the one to protect her as I would just use my admin powers. however you could do it without even that" Luke said but sounded confused as I was shaking my head. "I am a martial artist, not a gamer. I use Spirit Force, not Mana. I use my body and senses that have been honed to the maximum, not whatever I would have in the game" I said simply and I already heard him laughing. "What is so funny?" I asked and he stopped laughing. "Richard. you can use martial arts in the game, Mana can work like Spirit Force should you use it the same as how you use your Spirit Force. as for your last complaint, you start off as a normal human and you can work your way up. time in there moves 5 times faster as it works on Spirit Force so you can grow much stronger. you can also use techniques that can kill with out worry as people can respawn" Luke said with emphasis on that last point. I smiled at the thought of being able to fight without holding back. "You... I see why you are in charge of a company with your bargaining chips" I said and I heard him laugh before a button appeared before me.

I guess this confirms it, I am going to be playing games like a normal person without the ability to train and make my father proud... but I guess I could give myself a break and play a game for a while. I am helping with his re write though back to the main topic, I hope you enjoy the fiction and let me know what you think of each chapter Chapter 2 - Character Creation I finally ended up in the character creation room, I look around and see nothing but a void until from the ground a mirror comes up with me in it. the mirror then shatters leaving 2 of me in the room. one not moving of course. I am not happy with how I look. namely because I look weak, I relied on Spirit Force and technique before. not muscle mass. so I look like an average 19 year old with short white hair and white eyes. ok maybe that needs an explanation. my hair is naturally white however the white eyes show I can use the Spirit Force. I could use it to do so much. I was fast. faster then a hover car. I was strong enough to stop a bullet train in its tracks and I could punch a building into dust. safe to say I had a bracelet that limited my Spirit Force. if that was removed I would have not even been slightly hurt by a building coming down on me, to bad it was located on my left hand.... I quickly add some muscle mass so I have a nice toned figure. I change nothing else. I am 5 foot 8 inches and devilishly handsome. and by that I mean no girl has paid me more attention then they have to... my mother included. I am happy with my character, I notice some other race buttons for dwarf and elf etc but I am happy as a human. I finish that off and smile at my finished product. "I think I am happy with this" I said and a voice came from behind me out of nowhere. "Good, can we move on then?" Someone said but I moved on instinct and had my hand around their throat before they finished speaking making them look shocked by the fact it took less then a second for my hand to reach their throat but ignored it as they took no damage. "Yes please" I said while removing my hand from the man''s throat, he wore a fashionable suit and a top hat and he smiled at me. "Then chose your starting equipment. you can chose the Basic Swordsman gear. the Basic Mage''s Gear or the Passive''s Gear... wait, you have the expansion pack. you can also chose the Basic Spirit Force Expansion Pack since you have Spirit Force at level 3 or higher." The man said to me with a smile as I thought for a second. also I did not learn about the levels myself so even that one is new to me. "Basic Spirit Force Expansion Pack" I said as a few screens opened in front of me.

I walk up to them and notice that Lin had a horrible time in character customisation, she had bright pink hair bright blue eyes almost pure white skin and looks to be a beast woman, I know because of the kitten ears and tail... how do I know it was just he not being able to use the the alteration windows? simple, she sit crying slightly while looking at a mirror, she is around 5 foot 6 inches with an attractive figure. Hana had a much easier time in the character customisation with light brown hair and 5 foot 7 inches and looks to be the human race, I also see her white eyes and with my own Spirit Force can feel Hana''s Spirit Force however I can''t tell much more then that. the size is just my guess so take it as a rough estimate. I see that Hana is practising with a bow and arrow while Lin looks more like a healer. I then move on with little interest to talk to them. "Richard. those girls you just walked past are the people you are to team up with and defend" I heard Luke say into my head. I sigh and walk over to the 2 girls. Hana points her bow and arrow at me. "Walk away pervert. I am busy training here" Hana said to me with her bow drawn. I look at the amount of Spirit Force I have and notice it is 1000. I can use my Physical Reinforcement for 10 seconds to 1 second. with this knowledge I get ready to avoid her arrow. "I was told to meet you two and join up with you by Luke.." Before I could finish I ahd to avoid an arrow with my physical Reinforcement. it was simple as we all start off with 1 stat point in each stat. I thus got a great deal faster and stronger by adding 3 stat points in each physical stat. I just lost 300 Spirit Force for it. but wait. it looks like I am getting it back at 1 point every 2 seconds. wow I am weak in this game. Hana looked shocked. "How did you avoid that as a level 1?" Hana asked me and I smiled, making some progress here. "I used my Spirit Force for Physical Reinforcement" I said simply making Lin and Hana look at me shocked. Hana then shook her head. "Ok, and you were asked to join us why?" Hana asked me sounding strangely happy. I smiled back. "Because you are weak" I said simply causing her to send 2 more arrows at me, I cant afford to evade another and sure enough it hits me. doing no damage... oh yea, towns are safe zones. "Calm down, I am here to help" I said as she looked even more mad. "You? help? ha, it would be more like I would be the one to save you" Hana said with a hint of pride. I was about to retort when I felt a sharp pain that looked to be a message from Luke saying stop being mean to my daughter but oh well. I look over to Lin who is running over to Hana and then hides behind her taking slight peaks at me with a scared face. "I think we should stop this pointless back and forward debate on your uselessness to make sure we don''t scare the kids" I said in a serious tone causing another arrow to be fired and bounce off my face. I accepted it and then saw Hana and Lin''s level and name with an online sign at the top left of my vision. funnily enough my health bar and Spirit Force bar was located at the top right of my vision, my Spirit Force is still not even half full and NO!!! I have to much pride to join something called the Kitten Brigade. I pushed the accept button without thinking, now written above my name and level is Kitten Brigade... oh well, nothing I can do now. "Well then, pick up your weapon of choice and train, you can get stat points from it" Hana said to me while continuing to fire her bow and arrow at the target with an infinite supply of arrows as this is a training room. sure enough I just walked over to a training dummy and started to punch it and kick it. FYI I am a martial artist of TKD. I was a black belt before the accident. 3rd dan. I had learned beyond that however I did not have the time to take the test. now I most likely will never be able to. oh well, I continue to kick and punch and knife hand the training dummy. using all the techniques I know. "Hey Richard, we will be going to get a class now, you can train here and then get your own class and we will meet up tomorrow" Hana said as the two walked off. I just kept hitting the wooden training dummy... I have to say, maybe games were not as bad as I first thought. it gave me the chance to walk around with out any pain while my body has no legs and missing an arm, however having to drag around a bunch of people does not sound all that fun. for now I will focus on punching the training dummy... ------------------------------------------------- Author''s Notes I hope you liked the chapter. also, so I have bragging rights later over the writer of The Games That Bind Us tell me which one you prefer, I am hoping this one as I actually try but oh well. some people prefer a bunch of chapters released quickly rather then real story Chapter 3 - Class I have been punching this training dummy for a while now. using Physical Reinforcement for 10 seconds and it takes just over half an hour to get back up to 1000 SF points. I was told I would meet up with Hana and Lin tomorrow and I am guessing they don''t mean in game time. so I have a full 5 days to punch this thing and find a class that I think I can use. I am told there are unique classes and hidden classes. heck you can even make an original class but I am not after any of that. there is already a class purfect for me. I look at my stats before continuing.

I look at the screen. no real surprise there. strength is progressing well and I feel my self doing a lot more damage to the training dummy. a simple punch does 10 damage, technique on top of that lets me do 16 damage and even more depending on where you hit someone. adding 1 point in strength adds 10 points of basic attack damage. simple right? vitality is your overall physical defence and reducing damage revived by 5 per stat point, it also increases health regeneration. you start with 0.5HP/s. each point increases it by 0.5HP/s. to increase how much health you actually have you need to raise your level. start with 1000, level 2 is 2000 level 3 is 3000. only monsters are the exception or so I am lead to believe however something tells me tank classes may be able to eventually. Agility is how fast you can move. 1 point is 10 meters per second and 2 points is 11 meters per second. however there is a catch, ever heard the saying more speed less haste? you can move fast but your body will struggle to keep up with you. that is where the dexterity stat comes in, balanced and controlled movements. I don''t know how this one works but I am a martial artist so I guess my ridiculously high dexterity is from that? it also improves accuracy of bows and arrows but I can ignore that one since I fight with hand to hand combat. Intelligence increases my Spirit Force''s damage. if I learn a Spirit Bolt / rip off fire bolt I can do extra damage. I guess it may help my Physical Reinforcement when its mastery is high enough. it also helps raise my SF cap. meaning I can store more of it. I don''t know how it works as I am still an idiot with 1 point in Intelligence Wisdom should improve my SF per second. it is at 0.5/s at the moment however it should increase by 0.5/s for each stat point allocated. so basically, I am doing ok. with all this done I go over to get my class. you may be wondering what I. a great martial artist could need as a class to help me? it is very simple. speed. I need a class that is faster then any other. the Courier class. used to move items and information from one country to another. why did I choose this class? because any other class allowed on the battle field requires a weapon with the exception of this class and all of its advancements. it also pays well. I walk over to the Post Office to receive the class. I notice only one person there who looks board... I knew not many people wanted such a class but this is just amazing at the shear amount of no players picking this class. "What may I help you with" The Courier said to me noticing I had entered. I smiled. "I would like to become a Courier" I said simply making him jump up with a look that is what I call to exited. "You are the first and only person I know that has chosen the become a courier in a long time my friend. are you sure?" Said the Courier. I can''t see his name or anything above his head so it is a little disturbing. maybe that is the stealth aspect I have heard about, sometimes you can get asked to deliver a message to someone in a war zone or unfriendly territory so you need to be very fast but also have stealth abilities that rival assassins. or the Ninja class, they said there was no Ninja class but that is just because of how hidden you have to be. it is the most hidden class. but enough about classes that I wont be. "Yes" I said simply and a blue box came up.

I started running after I saw that screen. I had not time to lose so I ran filled my bag and ran... Hana''s Point Of View I have just finished becoming an archer and I was given my final task. I was told to hunt down a Wolf from the near by forest just outside the. it is level 4 so I will have some difficulty. its stats will be low but they are always in packs. and with Lin of learning about Healing Magic I have a lot to do. I wonder if I could as Richard for help? I was about to open Party Chat when I saw Richard run past me with insane speed. that is not the speed a level 1 player should have. I didn''t feel his Spirit Force active as well. is he not a level 2 in speed? oh well, he looked like he had been running around for an hour or two full speed. I know he is a Martial Artist but I did not know they did that kind of training. he may become the worlds fastest level 1. oh well. I have a wolf to hunt. I was given a 5 arrow limit and if I run out I loose my chance at being a Military Archer. this will be important for getting a lot of quests for my party, the capitals are constantly at war with both NPC and Player fighters. I will be able to become an officer eventually and gain a foothold in the capital. the first war is with the human capital. this being the Neko Capital the next war is against the Human Capital. their currant king is not a true king and allows slave trading of other races.. I would not bother but supposedly it is possible for Players to be caught and forced to go through slavery that can be classed as 18+. children that play the game are on a special server where things are more nice and colourful and they have a pain limiter of 90%, we have a pain multiplier. Luke''s Point Of View *Achoo* "Are you ok sir? do you have a cold? you have been sneezing a lot" Aron the receptionist asked me. "Its ok, someone is just calling me a sadist somewhere" I said and he looked confused. of course he wouldn''t get it... Hana''s Point Of View I have fount my target, A lone wolf. I look around, I have prepared a hook arrow, this has rope attached to it. I have 2 normal arrows. I have 1 paralysing arrow and 1 warp arrow. all simple arrows however the warp arrow costs a lot as it has teleportation magic on it. I get a normal arrow and point it at the wolf. I then pull back my bow and fire. the wolf notices and avoids. to bad.

I span my arrow around and shot the wolf on the back of the head. having the arrow remove its self at come back is also useful. I have 3000 SF so I wont run out any time soon. I noticed something bad. it did 2040 damage. the wolf is a level 7. I need 4 more shots on it and this time it will be ready. It charged at me and I evaded by jumping back and shooting the wolf once more in the back of the head. 2040 damage was dealt, however it will only take 1 hit for it to kill me. it is now dashing around me at a much faster rate. a wolf is fast and damage dealing, it cant take damage well. it then pounces at me and using Psychokinesis to lift myself around it I avoid the first attack however it reached the ground first and jumped back at me, I do not weigh a lot is what I would love to say but the numbers have me at 120 lbs. I don''t have the Spirit Force to lift myself for to long... scratch that, the wolf was about the bite a huge chunk out of me, I dropped the warp arrow to the ground and teleported below the wolf just before it chewed my face off. I then shot and paralysis arrow into its under belly. It landed unable to move letting me deliver the fatal blow to the back of the head. the wolf died.

as soon as I finished that 3 more wolves jumped around me, all level 7. I flinched as I pressed the emergency call party button at the top left of my vision. hopefully someone will be able to get here on time. I drew an arrow and to ready to fire at the first wolf that moved. the wolf from behind me pounced at me and I fired at its front left paw. I then dashed around it with 2 wolves on my tail and a 3rd following with a bit of a limp. I used my hook arrow and made a trip wire causing the 2 wolves directly behind my to trip but they caught up fast. I drew my last arrow and aimed it behind me at the 2 wolves, however there was only 1 wolf there. I then turned my head quickly to my left which was my only blind spot as it turned to my right to aim at the wolf behind me. there was a wolf about to kill me. I was about to feel the pain of getting chewed up by wolves, because even if you no longer have any HP that does not mean you die in this game, you just cant fight back, to die your heart needs to stop or your brainwaves end. until then I would feel myself being chewed to pieces. but fortune was on my side, the wolf was hit be something. it died in 3 hits being sent flying. I turned to look at Richard standing in front of me between me an the wolves. "Wow. 14 punches and that was it? I am a little disappointed" Richard said he had some strange gloves on and had a new class. he was a courier? yet that powerful? I did not even see all those punches "This wont take to long Hana" Richard said while charging at the second wolf, the third wolf was nowhere to be seen. it avoided the wolf as it pounced at him and he kicked it in its under belly sending it into the air a bit and then threw 2 maybe 3 punches at its head. killing it. he then turned to me with a smile. I then saw the third wolf attack him from behind him, I am not fast enough to warn him to evade it... Richard.... Richard''s Point Of View. 10 minuets ago I DID IT!!! every single one was delivered. I was now running back to make it for the time limit. I reached the post office and saw a smiling Courier. "Well done. you will make a fine Courier yet. I am Quin Blackrock. what is your name boy?" Quin asked me with a smile. "Richard" I said and he nodded. "I will remember it. here is your reward" He said while giving me a pair of gloves and a bag of money. "Each letter was worth 2 Silver coins. 100,000 Silver''s make 1 gold coin. 100,000 coppers make a silver. any other questions boy?" Quin asked and I shook my head. At that point I could feel everyone so much more clearly, I had been sensing as much as possible since I got here. Lin looks to have a lot of Spirit Force potential for someone who doesn''t have it unlocked. this will come in handy. maybe not against a necromancer or something like that but it should come in handy. "Richard, what was that, your Spirit Force grew slightly" Hana said to me, she must have felt the change. she looked more concerned then curious, mainly because a sudden change in your Spirit Force can make you loose your concious mind into the destruction of the power. "I am ok, got a cool new ability to sense things though" I said with a smile before looking at the quest paper one last time. "I will race you there" I said while running as fast as I could, kicking up a bunch of dust while I was at it. if I run fast my stat points go up faster.

I think I need some more brain power... I look to unbalanced, another thing to note is I did not gain a level from killing the wolves. they were Hana''s targets so to prevent steeling kills for experience they made it so I would not get any experience from that. Hana on the other hand is Level 4. she refuses to share what she spent the status points on. "Hana.... we are falling behind" Lin said while pointing at my dust cloud and started to chase after me. I arrived at the Bandit Hideout first. it was on a near by mountain. it is a small wooden outpost 4 arches. 3 swordsman. 6 people with duel blades. I felt some Spirit Force other then them which was stronger then the others, a Bandit Chief?. I waited just out of sight for my two followers to catch up, after a few minuets I saw Hana and Lin catching up slowly. Hana in the lead but both exhausted. "What took you so long?" I asked them. Hana gave me and angry look. "We would have gotten here faster but I walked at Lin''s speed to be nice" Hana said gasping for air with lies worse then the ones I tell. "So have you scouted ahead?" Hana asked me and I smiled. "13 Bandits and 1 potential Bandit chief" I said and she game me a curious look about the potential Bandit Chief. I was about to charge in but Hana grabbed me by my shoulder and pulled me back. "Don''t you think we should have a plan first? and if you say your plan was attack I will kill you before the level 14 bandits have the chance" Hana said while pointing at their Level. I nodded slightly. with my strength stat, my gloves and technique I can deal around 400-410 damage per hit. their health will be at 14,000 HP. I guess I won''t be able to kill them with the same ease as I did the wolves. "attack" I said before charging at the only bandit that wasn''t inside the walls of the outpost. "Son of a.." Hana started to say something but then looked worryingly over at Lin. I used Physical Reinforcement and kicked him in the throat causing him to fall back holding onto his throat, I then took the moment to kick the man while he was down. he was dead before he could react. 4000 HP lost from my kick to his throat with a critical and the rest were stamped right onto his solar plexus at 800 HP each hit. "See?" I said with no more physical reinforcement. I gained 7 levels. making me level 8. 35 stat points to allocate as I please. so I did. I put 6 on Intelligence and 29 on wisdom. making my SF storage increase to 4000. and my SF per second was now at 15 SF/s. "At least use a plan for the rest" Hana said so I looted the body of the Bandit for all its worth and then we went back around the corner. "I have a plan. I will weaken them with my arrows and hold their attention. you go behind them and kill them before they see it coming, Lin will stay here and heal me when I need her" Hana said seriously. that sounds like it would work. "What about the Bandit Chief, I know I sensed a strong Spirit Force inside of there" I said and Hana thought. "We will deal with him together. I do long ranged damage while you attack head on, Lin with be your healer" Hana said and then drew her bow and started to fire, I then realised she was starting ahead of me, I ran around behind their camp, it contained 4 buildings, a watch tower with nobody in it. a housing building where they could rest. a shed that I guess stores weapons and a big building that looks important. and when I say big I mean it was a round building the size of your average barn yet it looked important. as I crept up behind people and tore their throat out from behind I realised when you catch people who are not expecting it they are weak. unlike monsters. whoever Hana shoots with a arrow I tare the throat out and throw the arrow back. the pattern was simple. it took a while however eventually all 13 Bandits were dead. I got non of the experience as Hana shot them all first. I would say she is using me but no she probably needs the advantage more then I do. Hana flinched and turned to me. "Don''t even think that" Hana said with all knowing eyes and I was now the one to flinch, she was supposed to be a psychokinetic not a mind reader. "sorry, in other news was that all of them?" I asked looking around. I cant sense anyone at the moment, maybe I am just going crazy? "Assassinate" Said someone from behind me, I moved forward as fast as possible with hoped of avoiding but to late, I felt a dagger slice across my back making me feel a slice of agony. I fell to the ground with no health, I was not dead, I just couldn''t do anything. "Now the strong one has been dealt with, why don''t you 2 girls go. I am only interested in useful slaves. but if you insist I am sure some noble will buy you" The assassin said, I couldn''t see his level. scratch that, as I am now not a single blue box will come up. "Die you Bastard" Hana said while launching her attack, she had all her arrows floating around her like a spiked ball, all arrows pointing to the Assassin. he flinched and jumped back. I could no longer see them as my moments were very much restricted, I could talk, look around. move at half the speed of a normal human and I am unable to do damage. I felt Hana very angry, I guess it is her being angry at the bandit but it feels like it is directed at me. I look at her and she is about to attack an after image, all her arrows are moving to a mirage. right behind her I can feel a lot of blood lust. I activate my Physical Reinforcement for my 1 second of power and kick the knife out of the assassin''s hand. I then was about to punch him but he used short range teleportation and teleported to his weapon which was now right above me. I but my hand up to block his stab, he stabbed into my hand and it hurt a lot. it felt like I just gave a high five to a belt sander. I had no time to complain however because one more hit like that and I would be dead. he swung his dagger at me again but I grabbed his wrist while kicking him in the ribs. was was level 19 and yet focused all his points on Dexterity for silent movement. yes this idiot was a player and by the looks of it a player killer. he was very well hidden, I rarely find people who can hide their own Spirit Force. and this person''s ability was to be able to create after images. like the one he used to confuse Hana. still. one more hit and he would be dead. he looked scared. but it was not my kill. "Power Shot" Hana shouted as an arrow flew past my face and into his. I then noticed something. with nobody around to fight I fell down unable to move again with no HP. damn it. "You ok there Richard?" Hana said. "Besides kissing my friend?" Hana said and outputted a bit of Bloodlust. women are scary. ".. Hana, I was the on to... kiss...him" Lin said with a red face. I asked and she looked very angry. was she trying to tell me something? who knows I was ignoring her. "I was trying!!!" Sachi yelled at me with a red face. I landed on one of them and got ready to jump off before I landed. not long after I saw the bottom I got ready and jumped off a meter above the ground with enough force to make cracks before the ice rock I was on reached the ground. I looked back up and knew I was not getting out that way. I turned around and saw a cave.

oh great. I need to complete every single floor... that or die in unspeakable amounts of pain... yea sure. ok. I made my way into the dungeon. the place was freezing to the point that I felt slower walking around then normal. I did not see and monsters for some time as the cave only got colder. I kept walking through the labyrinth trying to find the way out, I saw a horrifying sight. I saw the stairs, they went down... "What untold monsters of darkness is awaiting me down here?" I asked myself trying to think of anything but the freezing cold temperature I walked on as it got colder and colder. I reached floor 3 without an enemy to fight. but that all changed when I saw the Ice Ghost.

AND THERE IT IS!!! I start looking for a way to bring the Giant down but is it a fortress, a level 90 is no push over, it has low intelligence and wisdom but its vitality and strength are in the high one thousands. since I don''t want to become some rich nobles sex slave in their basement/dungeon I think I will find a way to kill it, everyone looking at the blue box in front of them is in shock fear or with new found determination. however before I have the chance to act a group of people are already attacking the Giant with all their strength doing no damage, I see brother for a second as he jumps up and powers up with 3 different Physical Reinforcements at the same time and punches the Giant. he got a 1000 times power boost. that has to be cheating. yet it looks like it was not enough, it cause the giant to loose 4 HP. it had 90,000 HP and regeneration apparently. Richard jumped over to me. "Plan, now" Richard said simply and I looked at the giant. and noticed it was a summoned creature. "Giant, summoned, kill the caster, giant dies" I said simply and he ran off in search of the caster. I then ran over to Hana, "Shoot Arrows In The EYE" I said and Hana nodded and started firing towards the eyes of the Giant, I then ran over to Lin and at this point I was exhausted. Lin healed me and I felt fine, "Give Buffs to Hana" I said and Lin nodded. Paradox then came to me for her orders. "I am not a fighter" she said simply and I checked, then made another plan. I shook my head and wore a smile. "Find the Caster and point Richard in the right direction" I said and Paradox nodded. I cant track the caster myself as my processing speed for information is limited, I would not be able to find them on time and I can''t see the link between caster and summoned creature and have 0 idea on what to look for as Luke put limits on my all seeing eye. damn bastard. "Holy Slash" I heard and idiotic paladin shout as he charged at the Giant. it did no damage, players can''t do damage to it, well most players, my brother has cheat codes or something. Holy Shiii......" the paladin said as he was sent flying by the giant with 2 HP. he had very good armour. but not good enough. I laugh as I check on the fallen warrior. he landed right next to me. "You ok down there?" I ask with an innocent smile poking a little fun at him, he has black hair and red skin. he is a demon class.... a religious demon? that had to be a joke he thought of. "yea, I am fine, the ground just looked very comfortable." the man said with a smile as he got up and readied his sword again. "was it?" I asked and he smirked. "not in the slightest but I got a nice view at least" He said while looking at me and I blushed slightly, he then ran towards the Giant again and Lin healed him on his way past. he then landed right next to me a second time this time face down in the dirt. "nice view huh?" I said and he got up and I saw through his eyes he got a direct line of sight under my skirt. my face went red and I was about to stop him but I was to late. "Absolutely" he said while jumping up. and running back to the Giant. I read his name and chuckled to myself. "UnstoppablePaladin666 huh? so much for unstoppable" I said before laughing to myself. I wonder how Richard was doing? I checked and saw Paradox knocked out and Richard walking directly towards 3 level 46 summoners... I should have guessed this would happen. at least there is someone there with him... but what did I miss??? -------------------------------------------- Author''s Notes yes, the next chapter will be covering Richards Point Of View so don''t worry, you will be following his story again soon. this chapter would have been around 3 times longer but because I still think this was more then long enough as I don''t want to keep you all day I cut is short slightly and broke it up into 3 separate chapters. I will make it all one chapter next time if you think you would prefer it that way. let me know in the comment section Chapter 9 - The Five Swordsmen Richard''s Point Of View Go after the summoner. that was my objective, and sure enough I did, but when I got there, I saw Sachi on the ground unmoving in a Hells Prison spell that prevents movement / existence, Sachi shouldn''t have ran off ahead like she was as invincible here as she is outside the game, I turn to the left, I was brought to an abandoned building on the edge of the city that was torn apart and giving off a very ominous glow. sure enough I saw 1 opponent inside the building, I thought it would be simple, it was just a single summoner. "why did you do this? what was there to gain?" I asked while walking towards the summoner with a slow but cautious pace and he smiled at me with a twisted smile that brought discomfort to look at. "I did it because I could, we did it because of the 500G reward" he said with an even more twisted smile.... "wait... ''we''?" I said but it was to late, 2 summoners were either side of me and their power was nothing to laugh at. I was bound with Mana and a summoned creature called a Ruined Hellhound which was about to chew my head off, lucky for me I was not the only one who found this place, this being a big online game I guess I should have expected more, the Mana binding me was broken as a arrow had embedded itself in the head of one of the summoners causing it to explode with a fire enchantment power shot combo, the Hellhound was not known for vitality and especially not a ruined Hellhound. 5 quick punches to the jaw and it was dead and I stood side by side with bowman who fights to close to be sane. he should be located at least 30 meters away but nope he shot the summoner from 5 feet away. I like him already. "well we are stopping you for the experience points and I am doing it to test my new bow" said the bowman who was literally called Bowman. a elf with no hair and green leather gear. this comment seemed to annoy the summoners. I still don''t see how they summoned the giant, maybe it was using an item? but they are normally heavily restricted to either players or story missions (Round 1: Fight!!!) I used my super human speeds to get behind one of the damn identical twins summoners and kicked his ass... figuratively and literally. he was dead in 23 hits. mages never have good vitality do they? to be fair my movement speed made it much easier to kick his ass. I turn to the mage to my left and he has an arrow stuck in his head, the mage to my right has . that was easier then I thought... why isn''t there a message to say we did it? to say we won? I saw another mage running away in the distance, I was not about to let him get away so I ran up to him faster then he could move and went to punch him, that would have been it. but then it finally hit me what could have been going on. "Fire Cutter" I heard someone say from behind me, I then felt me health drop like a stone, I looked down at the sword embedded in my chest, turning my head I saw 5 people, each of them much stronger then I am. confirmed this was someone''s quest. that damn giant and these damn mages were apart of a quest. why else would a giant be summoned into the the capital?

I wonder how a level 1 like him hangs out around the others being so much stronger then him? "you are finnaly awake, we are hear to say you are a fool, you interrupted our quest so now we have to do it again and hope to get the right drop from the giant and GROOoo..." Heat Death said but was interrupted by being elbowed in the gut by Great Oak. "Enough of that, we are here to say sorry, it was are first run through the mission and we assumed you were an enemy NPC, we did not account for you players or the town so we are sorry" Great Oak said to me in a female voice, of course I can''t tell the difference between them as they all have thick metal plated armour covering their entire body. "thats ok, next time though just be sure to warn everyone with a World Message" I said before getting up, they looked at me weirdly... wait, how did a player get that strong already? "I am sorry but we are not that familiar with the terminology of you players" said Great Oak causing me to look at all 5 of them again and then I had to ask the question. "so who are you?" I asked in a curious tone and then got the feeling I would regret asking. "Introductions!!!" River Styx said and all of them got into a line and all got into a strange pose. while saying their name. watching was just embarrassing to be around but considering 4 out of 5 of them could flick me and kill me I don''t wish to push my luck stat. "so?" I ask and Styx looked at me with what I am guessing is confusion. can''t tell through his helmet that only had a gap for the eyes but even then it was all blacked out so nothing could be seen. "we are the greatest fighters around. the 5 champions of the Tower Of Hero''s. if you beat all 5 of us in a row with a team consisting of 5 members or less your names will be remembered for an eternity and you will become the new champions" River Styx said to me with a tone hoping I would know of them. "never heard of you but I am guessing you are the final boss battle" I said simply and they gave off an aura of confusion. however if what he said is true I will have to fight all of them. the I will have to defend that position from those who would challenge it. "oh yea, didn''t they up the prise money you get for beating us from 90,000,000,000,000G to 100,000,000,000G?" Night Blade said with the voice of a child. I am now really curious about what is under that armour. before I could continue they all glowed brightly in a mixture of colours before vanishing. "*sigh* I thought they would never leave" I hear someone''s voice from behind me, turning around it was the archer I met earlier. "they already gave that entire dance to me but I didn''t think they would do it again. also, did you see that guy''s name, it was BallsDeep69!! I almost died from laughter" Bowman said with a smile. "your that archer that assisted me" I said with a smile and he got frustrated. "assist you? I took down 2 of them, you only got 1. if anything you assisted me with your slow ass speed" the archer said with a now mocking smile.
