《Reincarnated As A Mob!?!Rise of the Demon》 Prologue: A Whole New World! full of ......A Whole New World! Seamus was far from your average high school student, being of mostly of Caucasian background, but with a few traces of Hawaiian and Japanese. He was often very solitary, keeping away from interaction for most of his life but became more friendly and open as the years passed. "ehhhh I hate Mondays, good thing I rented out this dorm room or lil sis would be bothering me to wake up..."Seamus says while not moving a inch but after a while stretches his body slightly before moving to the side and....completely falling off with a loud thud and a large piercing pain in his head as something stabbed into his head , right eyeball and neck before going straight into his skull , brain, and the lung and veins in his neck. Usually Seamus slept on the lower bunk but tonight he used the upper one as a new room mate moved in which he protested of course but having a roommate was mandatory but there was always extra rooms so many people just had rooms to themselves intill a recent wave of new students showed up. Unfortunately for Seamus his room mate had left out a series of land sharp objects on the ground and exposed which one could easily avoid if you didn''t simply roll off the bed forgetting your on the upper bunk. :P So cold.....every was so cold and black, but after what seemed like a endless expanse of time he began to feel somehow warmer if not just slightly as this warmth continued to increase but Seamus barely even registered this but it still steadily climbed in temprature... (authors note, so I was originally writing a royal road fiction but then decided on reincarnation being something a could dish out more of with higher quality, sorry about that for anyone who saw that other fiction...) (sorry for the short chapter but there''s no real interaction or talking yet so expect some short or moderate chapters for a little bit guys) It was likely weeks or just a few moments for all Seamus knew as the bitter cold began to ever so slowly lessen to a strange irritating near neutral temperature, with it Seamus began to slowly become aware of the total darkness around him before suddenly out of nowhere his eyes where rushed in tremendous pain as his vision returned. "agHH!!!! jesus! what the hell is this? and..." his rambling suddenly was cut short as what he saw finally managed to breach his thick skull, small creatures rushed around thou they seemed normal sized to him, fighting, clawing, biting gouging with tiny tools or weapons and some even made armor or cast spells but that was only the talented thing of the wingless sometimes nearly featureless. But that was only a small part of what he saw there was several piles of the same creatures rutting into the behinds of others or being rutted depending, some small piles either that you shouldn''t expect to be in the center and live... all the same however he felt strangely normal among this and very slightly accepted it as normal for now as a massive hunger suddenly filled him making him feel like pain to his very core for a moment before it numbed while his stomach growled at the same time... Quickly looking at himself he noticed the same red skin as all these other...demonic creatures around him and he quickly realized his fate as the memory of the small glimmer of seeing his roommates equipment before they pierced him flooded his mind. This was to much, and especially far to quickly, how could he be dead? and so easily? it was just pathetic but in truth it wasn''t his own fault at all and regaining his usual determination he decided to make the best of this...peculiar situation and try and confirm or figure out what has happened..... Quickly however he was rushed out of his thoughts as something began to bite his shoulder tackling him to the red flooring. move on instinct and the gathered adrenaline from this frightening nightmare that most would simply give in to Seamus turned and clawed at the imp creatures eyes that was on top of him despite their near equal size but curled his claw inward on the starving imp as he too needed to eat as he bulled away using both his claw to attack his opponent before they both got to their feet retreating and circling each other. Eventually the demonic imp charged again but Seamus was prepared as a bit of the red dirt beneath them was kicked up into the imps face before Seamus jumped on him biting into its neck while taking its other eye out with his claws.......and then.....he ate.........................he ate with reckless abandon ignoring his morals for now as his hunger tug deeply into him he simply needed to feed, or die as others fed on him. (Authors note: as I have stated several times I still cant figure out how to do it sorry everyone just deal with it for now kay? :3) Seamus quickly dug into the dead imps corpse biteing his way into its raw tender flesh while using his clawed hands to rip the imp open more to get easier access to its insides, he frankly didn''t care at the possibility that this could have been a person just like him, reincarnated or worse a innocent newborn. all he care about was the delicious feast before him as he stuffed and swallowed all that he could his already full stomach bloating at the extra meat being forced into it before he finally pulled away with a sigh.. "Tastes like....chicken, or another bird meat in but just more....flavored?" Seamus said pondering his words before noticing several starved imps already eating away at the corpse he had pulled away from."heh and after I did all the hard work" Smileing quickly Seamus got up as best he could thou when he suddenly noticed something in front of him. -Level up 1 point acquired- -11 unspent points remaining- the hell? what is this some kind of rpg? and what kind of points? Seamus was quickly full of questions now that his hunger was gone and how did he even spend this points was there some kind of status?.......as if to answer him a large blue window suddenly popped up right in his face blocking his view yet he could also somehow see through it like it was not there.... Seamus pondered before sitting on the offending imps back and clawing into the imps skull before biteing into its arm as the creature reaches to try and stab him. Unknown to Seamus his luck stat was what was truly amazing as it cant be upgraded by points, and most humans only have about two, and more importantly that almost all lesser implings had all ones for stats..... Yet Another Poll: Soooooooo thinking over things I cant quite decide which direction this should be going however I do have countless Ideas but none of them have any clear calling so ill just leave It up to you guys again as this is READER INTERACTIVE MWHAHAHHAAHA!*cough* *Gag* ahem :3 1: so firstly my im thinking of having the main character begin developing a base of operations as it where but before that he should likely go on a rampage with his new dagger as it gives him a bigger advantage over the other imps on top of higher stats, and fundamentally further explore the status. 2: my second idea is for him to off the bat explore his status more and use up his points to learn some new skills and use those to go on a further rampage, but before all that explore His surroundings and look for a pre Existing small little cave to store treasures and the lack but to also have as a safe place to sleep. Chapter 3: Lesser = Squishy Seamus sighs looking over the basics of his status again he noticed a advanced status option or button thing but he didn''t have to look at that as more and more imps where showing up and eating the two corpses, mostly all starved out imps, it seemed at least he seemed week and strange to them but from his lack of aggression more or less compared to other imps that it was easier to steal his kills....Not wanting to hamper on there party Seamus moved away after getting a better grip on the stone/ore based dagger as he decided to look for more lone imps, why you might ask? exp farming, he needed to have a easy, less dangerous way to gain power before something big killed him again.... Wait again? yeah that''s right that first imp killed him after "Spawning" as it where both in a game like sense and demonic sense, but demon spawning was likely gross and...lets just not go there... after awhile of skulking about multiple notifications appeared, or really just two... ---Sneak skill acquired--- ---Sneak Skill Leveled up--- (Direction 1 has been voted btw.....) Extremely useful indeed but Seamus wasn''t quite sure how he leveled it up so quickly but then what was the cap? Did skills Evolve like in some games or story''s? Why am I here to begin with? and why...THIS imp body? so many questions he couldn''t even count on his four fingered boney looking hand but he quickly pushed his thoughts aside for now as he approached a lone imp that seemed to be over another imp far away from all of the other little imp "Part''s" in both the group sense and the activities going on as it where. Moving as silently as he can and as slowly as he can till he was right up against the imp digging into the corpse where its various wounds are still present. Deciding not to think about the puss ridden wounds he instead quickly stabs into the imps throat, as its life suddenly is put to a end surprisingly quick and without resistance. ---Level up 1 point acquired --- ---13 points still being waited for you to use--- Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. ahh thankfully the ease of killing someone doesn''t lower the exp for it, wait the the notification change? ehh whatever. Seamus quickly stands straight again and looks around except there was one issue...... This issue took place in the form of six different well fed looking imps or implings just like Seamus each Approaching with there own daggers thou only there leaders dagger seemed to have ore in it. Seamus quickly made a defensive stance as he took several steps back but it wasn''t a good deterrent as all six implings charged him there daggers ready. Seamus Decides he should at least fight quickly swipes his dagger making a large gash across one of the imp''s chests forcing its insides open as it falls over dead easily..... Maybe this isent so hard but its still dangerous as im just as squishy.... Seamus decides to just keep his distance but the 6 implings are still up in his face giving him no time to retreat so he instead slashes another imp across the chest before stabbing into the neck of the imp next to it and kicking that imps body into the other three imps. to give time to pick up one of the regular stone daggers before repeating his previous movements, two quick but long chest slashes, and stabbing into the leaders neck but the life in the last one there leader seems to stay for a few moments longer before it too fades... For now He pulls out his original dagger and picks up the one the leader is carrying , why not dual wield after all? Chapter 4: To Find a Home (Bonus Chapter) Seamus dident have much time to act as yet another popup appeared ---as lesser impling has only one evolve path you shall be evolving shortly..--- well that''s great Seamus thought before falling to the floor writhing in pain as his skin and flesh changed thou only slightly till it was all over, Seamus couldn''t really notice any difference so he began piling up the daggers the total being 7 now, yet another lucky 7 and manageable in size Seamus decided to carry them all after useing one of the implings intestines as rope to bundle them together and the two ends into a not before he headed off to find a new home. ---Congratulations you have evolved into a impling--- ---Haveing Evolved in Less then a day from birth you have been awarded 10 points--- ---you have 27 points Remaining--- Took awhile for that to pop up feels like a old computer but meh lets find a cave.... Hell is....weeeell chaotic to say the least, mountains, hills , and small mounds and yet sometimes even straight walls that just stretch as far up as you can see till you find where its decaying into rubble. Eventually however Seamus after a few hours Search come across a tiny almost impossible to notice cave that was under a cliff or halfway up more like it as you had to climb up to it. Thou a small Entrance It Gradually got bigger before it got to a point where it had collapsed, a small 3 foot deep bit of water could be found by it in a hole like place to the collapses right. Putting the bundle of daggers down and putting the two ore/stone daggers separate from the bundle Seamus began to to taste the water... "bleh yuck what died in this? oh well it will have to do, the entire time I have been here I haven''t seen any water" I wonder thou how can I use my points, its not like there''s a help Feature, meh just pointless pondering..... Chapter 5: Establishing dominance/ Brains before Pure Brawn... (sooo Im gonna combine the top three of the poll) taming is a very simple concept but extremely complex in practice, first you have to get the animal to trust you, second feed them to gain further trust, third make them familiar with you, and then move from there...or at least you would think..... Seamus was happy at first once he Realized the wolf wasn''t attacking him but that was intill it jumped on him and began biting into him. Quickly Seamus Grabbed his Original dagger and stabbed repeatedly into the wolfs neck but he could already feel his own life fading away to its brink before the wolf finally pulled away but waiting for a good time to attack..... Fr now Seamus was dominant but still prey in the wolf''s eyes or at least that''s what Seamus figured so picked up the other ore dagger before he rushed at the wolf which made it freeze up for a second giving Seamus time to slash it across the snout and below its eyes before he jumped away and hid into the water hole. Thankfully the bleeding has stopped for now But Seamus still felt near death.. just what the hell do I do about this thing? and...was that bone? Seamus by now was on the other side of the water hole but there was a skeleton there which he was stepping upon. but next to it was a vial with a strange light pink liquid that seemed diluted with water.... Using his knowledge from various games he quickly realized or more or less just hoped it was a healing potion as he grabbed the vial and took a sip and felt the pain slowly ebb away but he didn''t recover completely so he took another 4 sips in total leaving the vail a 5th empty. Thou feeling completely better, even better then before his wound was still there but was not noticed from the lack of pain as Seamus quickly picked his second dagger up and Left the water source and regained the attention of the wolf as he suddenly charged. "just give up already!" slashing across its belly as Seamus ran bent forward as the wolf jumped giving it a serious wound but receiving its hind leg to his injured arm in return. before the wolf retreated slowly away back to the collapse of the cave..... Following at the Same pace Seamus suddenly left the wolf as he Retreated into the water cave within a cave as he took a sip of the health potion before pouring the rest of another 5th onto his wounds as they began to heal slowly he sighed in relief at the result of his experiment before he took a leg bone from the skeleton before approaching the wolf again who was licking his or her wounds clean before it noticed Seamus and growled, before seeing the bone and eyeing it a bit as Seamus dropped it and backed away, The wolf quickly taking the bone without worry and began chewing into it.........but now the wolf truly saw him as dominant.... Chapter 6: A Short day Seamus didn''t feel fully safe against the wolf even after its hostility ended so he crawled into the watering hole and into its furthest corner to sleep and recover from the days adventures... By the next day more or less as there was no way to tell Seamus got up to find in the place of the wolf was the half eaten corpse of a lesser impling, and the skeleton of another but no wolf in sight. Deciding not to waste what was infront of him Seamus quickly began eating the rest of the meat till he felt satisfied and separated the bones into different piles before grabbing his two favorite daggers and heading out of the cave system. Have reached the light of the outside the wolf was still not in sight and Seamus Decided he was going to need to kill more to gain any foothold here so it was time to begin the hunt again, Quickly rushing towards the the "spawn" from where he started the same sights as before could easily be discerned and even identified somewhat the different "activities" taking place from the rape or consensual orgy''s to the bloodbaths that was most grouping of implings while others where simply a gathering of fighters waiting for another group to challenge them. But for now he felt calm for his current peace of mind now that he was used to his situation and Curled up and fell asleep. Chapter 8: The Beginings of madness...and the pondering of a new world. Three days, three days of this nonsense, this torture, an ugly body, the constant headache that is the focus im mine mind, and the endless danger....., and yet ive also died and been reborn..... I have been reborn twice infact.....not only that but the taste of flesh is just endlessly pleasurable I just cant seem to get enough.... At first this all seemed to be a dream.... but im utterly certain its real now, this world, my new kind, my new enemy''s, but then theirs also the fear.....but nothing to fear... Thats right I died just after being reborn, this is my third life, and my second one here. I have to make use of it, I cant just lounge around any longer! im a level 6 impling already for christ sake! Im evolving and growing at a extraordinary rate! but I must have more......MORE! Sighing quickly to himself Seamus gathered his two daggers and checked on the pile of ten or so regular stone daggers before stuffing it by the skeleton. All set and ready with his two ore and stone mixed daggers. and well.......nothing besides the potion in the loincloth he stole.. Seamus quickly set out back into the big arena like pit that was the home of his kind.... Already Seamus could taste their flesh in his mouth, and the new evolution but he still maintained his constant caution as he approached a small group of five impleings, just enough to level up he guessed so he quickly jumped towards them and stabbed into the back of oen of the implings before moving onto the next one but was blocked before cutting into its throat,so he simply used his other dagger to stab into it side to weaken its hold on its weapons as he kicked the impling down and stabbed into its stomach before rolling aside as another dagger came his way... Seamus smiled even as the darkness spread across his vision in the seemingly end of this life as he had managed to evolve but then he woke up again later as two different imps where eating the various bodies. He was even happier now as on top of evolving he managed to live through the ordeal.....just one more step... one more step till I can call myself the best of all this.....creatures... But how long would this last? he didn''t know for certain but he felt proud now, he was strong...... he was no longer a weakling to bully, to be ridiculed! he was the one with power now! and he simply loved the taste of it, in fact Seamus wanted far much more now.... Putting his pondering aside Seamus quickly drinks another 2/5 of the potion leaving only a 5th left then putting the bottle back in his ragged loincloth before heading back home with a sigh, something just didn''t feel right, he felt....torn, missing a piece of himself but decided to ignore that for now. Eventually arriving back he could hear a bark from the corner of the cave as the now mostly healed wolf welcomed him with its curious gaze as he put most of the meat down infront of it before heading over to his own hidey hole to eat.... Each time the meat still tasted delicious and Seamus simply didn''t tire of its taste but he still felt like he was missing something, and the feeling was even slightly instinctive as it pulled at his mind... perhaps tomorrow will bring answers.... (just now noticed I forgot to change the level XD its fixed now thou) Writers block as stated in the title im having rather noticeable writers block and no matter how hard I try I cant get a chapter goinjg so for now Im putting this series on hold and maybe starting up another or two sorry guys V.V
