    I sighed again for the Nth time today , yep so many times that I actually lost count .


    I''m currently at the Dolby theatre, where they are holding and giving the Academy Award (Oscar) to the winners of the respective categories.


    I''m still wondering why I''m here , in the middle of a crowd of people which is composed of celebrities and their kids.


    Unknown : "Hey fatty stop spacing out , raaah. Why the hell did mom tell me to take you with us."


    Hearing these hurtful words from a familiar voice , which belonged to my sister Shella, I turned around to face her. Well I must say that she wasn''t exactly lying , I''m Mark Sigfrid , 183cm (6ft) tall with 100kg¡¯s (220 lbs) of fat with black hair and eyes like the majority of Asian people. You know if I really wanted to lose some weight I probably could have done it, but I''m just too lazy for that.


    Yeah, that  Bi..... lovely woman wanted me to go out of the house, where I spent all my time reading , playing and doing some man things . She even threatened me to break my computer . And she said it was for socialization , to see the outside world , I mean it''s not like that I never got out it''s just not often . I was never good with people , Mom says that my way of talking is too direct , I''m too shy with girls to get a girlfriend and I can''t even make a decent joke .


    Following after my sister Shella , who¡¯s 178cm (5ft10) tall and had long blonde hair with a pair of blue eyes , a beautiful pale skin ,with a face that will make you think that she''s an angel which she isn''t  and has what we call an hourglass body , she was wearing a long black dress and a pair of high heels with one leg uncovered and showing some of her cleavage. She was an actress , a rising star as people would call it .


    And now the question that everyone is dying to know , which one of us is adopted ? It''s me .


    I was adopted when I was 2 years old, as my biological parents died after a plane crash , Maria my step-mother was a close friend of them and was taking care of me when it happened , so she kindly and lovelily adopted me. She loved me and cared for me like I was her own flesh and blood, her son. Well mom is the only person I get along with , she always supported me no matter what decisions I made , like when I dropped high school because of all the bullies due to me being overweight and shy , let''s just say she''s the only reason I''m living right now.

    Me and Shella were very close back when we were kids then puberty came. Now I''m 19 and she¡¯s 20 , most of the time she''s mocking me and I find myself ignoring her.


    After a short walk we finally reached the main hall where the show is being held at, we were sitting at one of the back tables so nobody would notice us .


    Shella : "Stay right here and don''t move , I''m going to go get James."


    James Blake was Shella¡¯s boyfriend he''s the typical tall, handsome , blond guy , an actor too . I saw some of his movies and.... he''s bad , I mean REALLY BAD , this guy is not ready to receive any kind of award .


    James : Hey fatty how are you doing ? You know I always wanted to ask , how can you reach your dick with that much meat in your stomach ? hahahaha


    A shitty joke coming from a shitty actor. I was tempted to reply and burn his ass but then I will have to go back home in a taxi and I currently don''t have any money on me. So it¡¯s better to keep my mouth shut and play mute.


    After 20 minutes of shit talk from the shitty boyfriend , the ceremony was finally about to start. Then a shining light appeared in the middle of the stage , a man was standing in front of the microphone , short haired with a handsome face smiling with his lady-killer smile , we could hear some people gasp , he had a golden coat and pants with black shirt and boots that the likes of was never seen before , but the most disturbing thing was that he had purple eyes which were watching us like he could pierce and see the deepest part of our souls.


    Unknown : "Hello everybody! I''m Loki !"


    He was still smiling while saying that , what the hell is this ? Are they doing something new this year ?


    Loki : "The Gods have spoken ! You all have been chosen to be summoned by the Gods !"


    Lifting his hands to the air , a blinding light surrounded all the people in the hall . I got the feeling of being sucked through the light and slowly my conscious faded away .

 Chapter 1 : Another World

    Starting to regain my consciousness back I slowly opened my eyes trying to adapt to the light . Looking around I could see that everyone was trying to get up like me , Shella and Jake were standing near me, they were a bit fuzzy as well.


    Unknown : "Hello everyone , I''m Athena  the Goddess of Wisdom and War . I''m going to explain to you why you''re all here."


    Standing in front of us was a woman who put everybody present at awe, me included . Light brown hair reaching her heels , a pair of blue eyes full of wisdom , and a face and body worthy of being called a Goddess .


    Athena : "You have been summoned by us for the sake ofto entertaining the Gods. After all , we''re all  very bored. "


    Huh ?!?!  What did she just say ?! Entertaining the Gods ? How are we even going to do that ?


    Leonardo : "Wait what !? We are currently here because the gods are bored ? Why should we even listen to you ? You transport us here without even asking our opinions and now you''re telling us to entertain YOU ?"


    Loud shouts of agreements were coming from the crowd. Leonardo DiCaprio asked the thing that all the people were wondering about . I think they should calm down I mean it''s a goddess after all, it''s a being that you shouldn''t anger.


    Athena : "Actually we don''t care about your opinions , and you will do it because all of you are going to be sent to Rodalnia for fifty years , a world that which we gods purposefully  create for this `event` and your only way back to Earth is to survive until the time limit ends."


    I thought that this kind of things only happens in fictions! Yoohoo !! The MC is here boys ! .... I sincerely hope that I''m not the guy who¡¯ll die within the first couple of chapters *swallow*.


    Athena : "There will be three factions there the Demons , the Alliance and the Angels. All of you are going to be randomly summoned between the three . Each of you will be blessed by one of the Gods and receive their powers. Everyone have unlimited potential so it''s up to you how far you can go. Oh yeah you can keep all the powers you gained in Rodalnia when you get back on Earth , the more powerful you are the slower your aging process will be , at some point it will just stop and old people can go back to being young and keep their youth forever."


    Everybody was shocked and were thinking about the possibilities with such a power , looking forever young and beautiful it is something that every actor wishes . This is some serious motivation for us to get stronger .


    Athena :"In Rodalnia the time is fifty times faster than Earth which means that in the end it will only elapse one year on Earth. Oh your actions will be broadcasted and edited by us on Earth. Well It''s time to go , have fun. "


    A light enveloped us and took our consciousness away again.


    Opening my eyes for the second time , we were standing on a big circle in a gigantic room.


    Four people and some guards just behind them were standing in front of us. I could recognize an elf , a dwarf , a beast man and an old guy.


    Old Guy : "Welcome to our realm, the Gods have warned us of your arrival. we are the leaders of our respective races and we form the council of the Alliance. Let us introduce ourselves , I''m Laurus Udibel. "

    Wearing a medieval noble suit. He had gray hair and a beard but he seems to have a healthy body and he looks like he was in his 40''s.

    She''s is huge !!  Every part of her . 7ft tall , short dark blue hair , dark skinned with some scars on her face which somehow makes her look even more attractive.


    Laurus : " The Gods have given us the task to explain to you how the world works. First thing is that you have statuses , to see them all you have to do is say show status in your head, same thing goes for the title and skills."

    Serrer : "Heroes , the Gods sent you to help us in our war against the demons and angels , we made a ceasefire with the angels so we can concentrate our forces against the demons who'' are gaining in strength and numbers. But right now all of you are too weak to participate the war for now , so from tomorrow our best instructors will teach you the art of warriors and mages ."


    Laurus : "You must be very tired now , we prepared a room for all of you , the guards will guide you to your respective rooms."


    Now that he said that I''m feeling really tired , must be the adrenaline wearing off.


    Leonardo : "Thank you , Elders."


    Oh Leonardo is in the Alliance team, I noticed that my sister Shella and Jake weren''t here , I guess they are in another group, I hope she¡¯s  well and will stay safe, after all she''s still my sister.


    One of the guards guided us to our room it had four beds inside of it , I was too tired to look at my roommates I just chose the closest bed and doze off in less than one second .

    It''s already morning , my eyes are still a bit blurry but I can see 3 people talking at the table .


    Unknown : "Oh , you finally woke up , morning my friend"


    On my way to sit at the table , I could see one muscular guy and two slender ones .


    Unknown : "I''m James , the guy next to me is my friend Brian and the dude next to you is Jim."


    Mark : "I''m Mark."


    James : "Since we all already introduced ourselves, I think we should know each other better , since we''re roommates and a team now , we should stick together to have a better chance at survival. Let me start, I was a bodyguard at the ceremony and I''m blessed by Tyr</a> the Nordic god of war. The blessing mainly gives me some boost in strength and endurance. I guess I''m what we call a tank."


    Yeah that''s right, I totally forgot about the blessing. Show skills.

    HOLY COW , IT¡¯S THE GREEN MASK DUDE , totally didn''t recognize him and that laugh though, that laugh makes me want to punch his rabbit like teeth .


    Brian : "Well I was just a staff member working at the ceremony , hum I''m blessed by Ceres the goddess of plants , it gives me more affinity towards earth magic and a boost in wisdom and intelligence . So I''m probably going to become an earth mage or a druid."


    Wow wait , aren''t these guys a bit too calm in these kinds of situations ? .... Never mind I''m calm too.


    Mark : "Well I was Invited to the party by my sister and my blessing is a boost in intelligence and a better affinity with lightning coming from the God of lightning Zeus."

    After an hour of chit-chat, mainly Jim talking , well I must admit that he''s quite funny but I must confess something I had on my mind to him since I saw him , I can''t keep my mouth shut anymore.


    Mark : "Hey Jim, I must tell you something. Can''t you stop doing that weird looking face please ?"


    James and Brian seemed shocked from what I just said, but they have looks of understanding as well.


    Jim : " What kind of face ?"


    James : "I think he was trying to tell you to stop doing the dumb looking face."


    Jim : "But I always do that face , It''s the most natural face for me. My wife loves it so much that she puts a bag on my head when we''re doing it."


    The rest of us wasn''t laughing at all at his remark , we were staring at him wide-eyed . He had an annoyed look on his face but he was still trying to smile, I think that we should have never talked about this.

    Knocking was heard from the room¡¯s door breaking our trans , although Jim still had his annoyed look on his face .


    Guard : " Sorry to interrupt you , but you''re requested to go to the training hall to choose your course."


    On our way to the training hall we could see some other guards with 4 people closely following behind them, it seems that the men were separated from the women, it¡¯s logical I guess.


    Arriving at the training hall we could see an elf standing in front of us , preparing for her speech .


    Elf : " Hello everyone , I''m Ariel Silac , an elite guard of the Alliance, I was tasked to supervise your training , as you already know we have arranged for the best warfare and magical instructors in the country to teach you . Please choose what you want to learn from the respective instructors here , that''s all."


    Oh she''s quite beautiful , a sapphire like blue hair reaching her shoulders , a pair of blue white snow like eyes and wearing a full silver set of light armor.


    If you''re wondering if I was listening , I was , and I chose lightning magic , healing magic , barrier magic and water magic. There¡¯s a lot of different kinds of magic , like the 5 basic elements which are fire-wind-lightning-water-earth, things like barrier , healing ,curse and buff  with many more.


    After one week of practice I was indeed good at lightning magic, Much more than the other four I chose , the training is progressing quite smoothly , my INT stat increased by 10 and my WIS by 7 , my END did increase by 4 but the other stats didn''t even budge.


    By the end of day , Jim was acting like normal again , I thought he would be more vexed but it seems that he got used to this kind of comments.


    During my training I could recognize some celebrities , like Jennifer Lawrence , she was taking the bow training, I guess some roles will forever stick to your skin.


    Alice : "Can I have your attentions please ? " She has mine "In two days we will depart to a low level dungeon that is a one day trip from here, you will need some battle experience and raiding dungeons is the fattest way to level up, that''s all."

 Chapter 3 : The dungeons

    Today we''re heading to the dungeons , at the moment I''m in my room packing for the trip, they gave us some health and mana potion . In the past week I learned some skills , sure it''s only the basic one but as they said the basic are the most important . Show skill.

    I still couldn''t learn anything from water magic yet . Ariel say that everyone will be divided into a group of four plus a priest which make us five. It seem that the dungeons here are very similar to the one we know in our game , every time a group get in we have to wait five minutes before a another group can get in and every group it''s separated from each other , like multiple dimension , so impossible for us de bump into each other.


    The monster level in the dungeons are between 1-12 , composed of five floors , mainly goblin monster , from what I heard it''s really easy and we still have the priest in case we have trouble .


    Experience are equally share to every member in dungeon and they already chose the everyone group anyway . Did they randomly chose ? No idea , James Crawford (roommate) , Brian McClain(roommate#2) and a girl name Sasha Pieterse .


    James and Brian seem to know her , must be a celebrity and I didn''t bother to ask since we''re in another world, the only thing that matter is to survive.


    She was blessed by Apollo and is a water/support type of mage .


    During our trip I gained two point on END , walking is hard , reaching our destination we camped in the front waiting our turn to get in , oh yeah we''re dead last . Patrick is our priest , he will follow us in the dungeon , he has green hair, natural green hair huh ? Remember me of a mad men.


    After five hours talking about how we going to fight , it''s finally our turn .


    James : "Ok guys , ready ?"


    All : " Yes! "


    In the first floor, goblin was always in pair , the one we meets are all `Goblin scout ` between level 1-5 . Fighting them was easier than expected ,  Brian restraining them and James and me finishing them with our swords and lightning ball .


    After cleaning the first floor I leveled up two times, I got 5 point stats for every level , I put one point in every stats except  for DEX , It may be bad for a mage but my warrior heart are too strong.


    For the second floor,  the only change was the goblin was a group of 4 and slightly stronger .

    It didn''t change much , Brian is crowd controlling , Sasha buffing  , James and me in the front as the damage dealers , got 3 more level.  After clearing the second floor we decided to take a break , some of us took a chance to sleep a bit .


    After a well deserved rest , we departed for floor three . It got complicated , with the addition of the goblin mage , goblin archer and the armored goblin.  Worse James is getting distracted for no reason.


    Getting hit by a mace , slash by a dagger , pierce by an arrow or eat a fireball HURTS LIKE SHIT. Luckily we have the priest with us or I will be already dead . I became a front line, after we realize that James couldn''t hold them by himself, I have to step up . Throwing punch and lightning ball in a melee seems really effective , I even learned a new skill .


    Static Field


    A 3m radius lightning explosion around the caster.


    In the end we succeeded clearing the third floor . It was hard but got 3 level , worth .


    Marc : " Hey James , you seem really distracted these past hour , are you ok ? "


    James : " I''m good , thanks for asking . Let''s proceed to the fourth floor shall we ? "


    The fourth floor was similar to the third one , except at the end.


    Mark : " Oh boy."


    Sasha : " Can we do this ? "


    In front of us were a pack of 10 leather armored goblin and 5 goblin mage.


    Before we could say anything else, I saw James rushing in like a bullet.  And diving in where were standing the mage .


    Marc : "What the hell ?! " He was getting surrounded "Shit,  let''s help him. "


    Running into the pack , trying to distract the as much goblin that I can from James, throwing couple lightning ball in the process.


    Sasha :" Heal! "


    Brian : " Rock Bullet! "


    Vines popping from the ground , snaring some goblin . Moving toward a snared goblin , I crushed my palm on his head while casting lightning ball , his head exploded like a tomato will in a microwave.


    My mana shield just break from the multiple hit that I took . I take all the stab or slash head on , it''s not like I have a choice I can''t dodge . We have 3 people who can heal anyways no big deal apart the fact that it hurts.


    Mark : " Static field ! "


    The goblin around me got electrify , taking this chance I casted two lightning ball to the goblin mage . Dashing toward them and beat them to death with punches. James seem alright, time to finish this.


    All the goblin mage a dead now ,now remain only five goblin soldiers , James take care of two of them by himself , I sprinted over the remaining three, activated `Static field` and crushing their heads with my palm casting lightning ball.


    Corps and blood spread everywhere , I leveled three time in total at this floor.


    James : "Phiew ! Good job everyone !"


    Mark : "Hey ! What''s wrong with you jumping in like that ? You could have get yourself killed. "


    James : " Sorry, got too excited , won''t happen again , I promise."


    Sasha : " It''s all good , let''s rest a bit before going to the fifth floor"

 Chapter 4 : The boss

    Going in the fifth floor , checking my stats and skill before the big fight. Show status, show skill.

    After fighting the whole day with punches , I got a interesting passive , nice.


    Reaching where was the boss ,  the goblin commander was here escorted by a elite goblin soldier , mage and archer .


    James : "Ok, I got the commander and the soldier. Brian distract the archer and Mark get the mage. Sasha and Patrick focus on healing me."


    Mark : " I got this!"


    Brian : " No problem. "


    James : " Alright let''s go !"


    James dashing forward , toward where is standing the elite goblin soldier , slashing him then pivot to the commander and slash him too. Every goblin was focusing James , taking this opportunity , I dashed toward the mage . Brian has already used his `Prison of vines` to imprison the archer . We''re in a situation of five versus three.


    Closing in against the mage , I tried to slap him with my charged lightning ball palm. But he noticed what I wanted to do and casted a barrier on himself .


    My hand slamming against a invisible barrier , he retaliated by firing his fireball , I instantly casted `Mana shield` but it brook as soon I take the hit . Swinging my fist again trying to break his barrier , I can feel the wall crumble from my punch . The next moment , I was push away by the air.


    From the corner of my eyes , I could see that James was struggling against the soldier and the archer. The commander was chasing Brian who were trying to kite him around with his vines.


    *Boom*


    Feeling my face getting burn , I instantly casted heal on myself.


    Mark : " Son of a bitch! "


    Trying get around him while running in zigzag , dodging fireball . Throwing couple lightning ball intercepted by his barrier, I tried to swing my fist against him but he pushed me away again, this time I saw this coming and grabbed his collar, pushing him toward me, I enfold his waist with both of my arms .


    Mark : "GERMAN SUPLEX ."


    Crying out loud my move , I moved on top of him and start throwing punch non-stop.


    Then I feel a throbbing pain from my back , I was stabbed by the goblin commander . Using `static field ` to get him away from me , slapping the mage with my lightning ball , killing him on the spot , I used heal on myself .

    I saw Brian laying on the ground and next to him the priest healing him . The goblin archer was dead , James fighting against the goblin soldier with Sasha supporting him.


    At that moment I realize that I was alone facing the commander , I need to hold him until the others are finished with the soldier.


    Rushing toward me , I activated my mana shield and throw a lightning ball at him. Dodging the ball, he jumped throwing his arm backward trying to stab me , I jumped away from him and started to charge at him .


    Hitting and pushing him with my shoulder , he was projected against the wall . He got up, I was dashing at him and throw a punch but it didn''t connect instead I hit the wall, the commander rolling sideways , cut my legs with his dagger and ready to stab me on the chest,  I caught his arm and head butted him on his face .


    Trading blow back and forth , I was finally able to disarm him , he became red and throwing himself at me , tackle me down and started relentlessly punching me, I tried to push him off without success. My heath is starting to drop dangerously low, using all my mana to heal myself . I''m not going to died by this shitty little green or red thing.


    Using all my strength left , I throwed him on the ground , jumping at his chest sitting on it , using my knees to lock both of his arms. I started to punch non-stop at his face , blood are flowing from his face still struggling to break free from my lock.


    Spotting a rock near me, I take it and crash it into his face . Crushing his skull with the rock , I keep bashing it at his face.


    Mark : " Get fucked." *pant* *pant* *pant*


    Standing up to looking at the commander head shrunken into a mush face . I screamed.


    Mark : "GET FUCK!!!! " *pant* *pant* *pant*


    Looking around me , I saw my group looking at me with a worried face. I got some blood on my face after all.


    Sasha : " Are you okay Mark ?"


    Mark : " I am, just got too excited. Sorry."


    James : " Okay , let''s grab the crystal and get out of here."


    Got three level from the last floor. Getting out of the dungeons, Ariel was waiting for us .


    Arial :" Alright , everyone came back , let''s camp for tonight and we will return to the castle tomorrow morning at the sunrise.


    Nice, after doing that much work/training I''m drain. After eating , I went to my tent dragging my legs.


    As soon I touched the mattress, I was already asleep.


    At the sunrise Ariel and the guards wakes all of us up. We packed our thing and departed for the castle on foot.


    I was at the back of the group with Patrick, until now he still didn''t talk much. He is like me I guess, Awkward.


    Suddenly I feel I chill breeze.


    Guard: " We are under attack ! It''s the Demon!"


    Ariel : " What ?! How did they come here ? Shit, protect the heroes !"


    What ? Demon ? Here ? I hope they''re not too strong , in case I better run fast.


    Looking at Patrick , I can see his eyes who were blue, now glowing crimson red .

 Chapter 5 : Hades

    Surrounded by darkness , I can feel myself getting pull into the ground , going down faster and faster .


    Until I crashed into a red floor , suddenly getting my vision back , I could see in front of me , a man sitting on his throne made of bones , messy brown hair and a ducktail beard . Wearing a black steeled armor and holding a two point fork , watching me with his red eyes . Must be Hades .


    Mark : " What..."


    Hades : " The hell ? Mine of course ." Wide grin spreading of his face.


    Hades : " Welcome to my humble domain , my chosen ." Spreading his arms wide ."I summoned you here today because I have a mission or a quest or whatever how you call it."


    Mark : " Motherfucker , you set this up ! You killed me for that ? Couldn''t you come in my dream or something like that, you bastard."


    Hades : " I did some motherfucking but that a story for another time . I don''t like to go into other people dream and meeting you when you''re dead is way better and you better calm down, I have five other chosen, one less toy mean nothing to me. Hey I''m trying to help you be grateful ."


    Damn it, I feel like I''m his bitch.


    Mark : *sigh* "Okay , what do I have to do ?"


    Hades : "That''s the spirit ! Your mission is to kill James Crawford."

    Waking up, starting to regain my strength . Still thinking about what just happen , what did he mean for my own good? *sigh* Shouldn''t think too much about it.


    Walking where the battle sound come, after bypassing some bush, I saw somebody fighting , a pretty brunette to be more precise .


    Hiding in my bush, I''m observing her fighting valiantly against a shadow, with a roman sword and roman like armor protecting her. I feel like I''m stalking her.


    Dodging the warrior like shadow thrust and retaliate with her sword. I must say that she''s doing well defending herself. Repeating the same process , she killed the shadow.


    The brunette seem exhausted, maybe  she were fighting for awhile . Then five shadow surrounded her. I guess Hades lied to me when he says that the shadow were nearly all dead.


    Still sitting in my bush , I was waiting for the right moment to strike and now she was cornered , like people say it''s time to save the day baby.


    Jumping out of my bush, I dashed to the closest shadow and slapped him with my empowered lightning ball palm. His head evaporated, the brunette seem shocked by my appearance.


    I turned my attention to the other shadow, making sure that the girl was out of range , I used my `Static Field` to incapacitate them. I took the one at my left and punched him since I gripped to not let him go, I bombarded him of my punch until he evaporate.


    Shooting lightning ball to the one next to him , giving him a lot hole in his dark body and ending up dying too. The three shadow realized that I was the biggest threat, trying to gangbang me .


    With no success, I casted again `Static Field` and slapped each of them with my lightning ball.


    Mark :" Phiew" Relieved that they were this weak. " Are you ok, miss ? "

    Ariel : " Damn it, we must get back  to the capital and report to the general now, so they can investigate this attack, how the demon were able to come here without us knowing."


    We resumed our travel, I was with Jim and he was talking non-stop about his `exploit` in the dungeons and his life. What a pain, not like I''m interested by his life. I couldn''t even ask the brunette name. Fuck my life.


    [The Brunette P.O.V ]


    We were traveling back to the castle when the demon attacked. I saw a guards running toward a demon, I followed him in hope to help. I was too late, he was already killed by three shadow.


    The shadow noticed and rushed toward me , I readied myself. When they entered in my range I used `Thousand Thrust` they instantly evaporated.


    Trying to go back to the group, I was ambushed by six shadow. Panicked I used `Tornado of Blade`, It''s a tiring skill. One shadow, survived and tried to thrust me with his sword, with my high agility I dodged his sword and retaliated but I was tired.


    So when I succeeded to kill , sighed of relieve before five other shadow surrounded me .


    I was cornered and tired , I''m going to die. God please send somebody I don''t want to die.


    Then I saw a man jumping out of a bush, smiling , a exited one. Lightning are surrounding him , he slapped them and they all dropped like fly one by one.


    He turned toward me , I could see him more clearly. He was a bit round , have black hair and eyes .


    He will certainly have a handsome face if he lost a bit of weight.


    Roundy guy : "Are you ok ? " he asked me with a face showing no emotion like a poker face.


    Me : "I''m alright, thanks to you. May I know the name of my savior please ?"


    Then a group of people were coming in our way , I could recognize some of my friend in it.

    Back to the castle, we were congratulate by the elders and sent back to our room. I took a shower and was ready to sleep until.

    [Mark P.O.V]

    Wow that''s a lot things . I feel relieved that I didn''t have to fight James companion . I assume Frey is the one that Lusella is holding, His neck is bend in a weird way.


    James : " Shit what happen...." Nice timing to regain conscious. "FREY! You killed Frey!"


    Oh, he saw him. Lusella thrown Frey on the ground next to James.

    So, I did what she say and used the skill to James and Frey . Two transparent humanoid form , come from the bodies , I sucked them in from my mouth . It has a feeling of when I''m eating noodle.

    These were my last thought before I drove into the dreamland.

 Chapter 9 : Olrik

    The next morning , nobody suspected anything . We all trained like usual , I started to learn new spell , with the power I received from the souls , I''m four time stronger , three time faster ,my magic double in power with health and mana too, my aim was a little better and could learn some technique in staff  though I still like to punch.


    I noticed that I received a title Soul Eater and a class Lightning Monk.  Apart from the name I have no idea what it does .

    The orc guy is Komir no last name , 210 cm tall with huge muscle , it doesn''t mean that he''s a muscle head . He seem pretty intelligent when he talked .


    The vampire guy was really a vampire, more precisely a high vampire, his name is Ygreth Divos. High vampire are not affected by the sun or some holy waters or thing like that . Normal vampire are a bit weakened by it . He was standing 190cm tall with a pretty boy face. He''s a bit arrogant but in a good way .


    His sister Grellyse Divos , have a hourglass body with long white hair reaching her waist , a pale skin like snow wearing a black coat on top of a shirt with a jean and long heel boots . I''m was eying her with a perverted look but it didn''t seem to bother her.


    Lusella : " Now the presentation is done , let us discuss about the plan."

 Chapter 10 : The plan

    Lusella :" We are going to replace the current baron,  Tharan Hammerbon , by ours , Finil Seror ."


    Komir : " When we said `replace`, we mean eliminate him. Not that I care about your moral but if it can make you feel better, he''s not a saint, he do illegal slave trading , hiring the bandits to capture the merchant or travelers to turn them into slaves ."

    Mark : "What do you need the city for ?"


    Lusella : " We used to be ten thousand follower of lord Hades. Due to the bet, we were decimated by the worshipper of Tyr, Mars and Thanatos . They made a coalition and hunted us all down , we fled here in hope to regain our strength and one day avenge our comrade . So the city will provide us money , weapon and a lot thing necessary to build an army ."

    I walked slowly and sneaky , I approached the one closest to me . He was taking a poop in a bush and was separate from the other.     The seven bandits turned their heads in my direction , they were shocked to see their comrade who died in his blood and crap.

    Enable to move again , they rushed toward me but before they could get near me I casted Static Field to stun them again . They were only six of them left , perfect , I casted Lightning Chain again , they started to roast with that much lightning . Steam were coming from some of them and I could smell a odor of burn in the air.


    Two of them were still not dead , and are slowly getting up. I walked near them , placed my hands on their heads I used another of my skill . Taser.

    Electrifying them , they trashed around in pain. Like the others before them , steam were coming from their skin . Now they''re fully grilled .

 Chapter 11 : Valia and Tyrell

    Today , me and my brother Tyrell  went to the forest to find a Rosalfryn for our mom  , a plant who can cure the fever .


    We were from a blacksmith family, from what mom said the city of Olrik was a prosperous and everyone were having a happy life until the baron Tharan Hammerbon came .


    He raised the tax , now we have to pay three time more than before . The guards now do what they want without being worried . The noble can do horrible thing as long they have money . With Hammerbon slave trade , he have a tons of gold in his safe chamber . He sell slaves across the region , the rumor say that all his slaves come from the group of bandits present in the region .


    We walked for ten minute , we''re not far from the city so , it shouldn''t have any bandits around here.


    Tyrell : " Hey sis look, isn''t that what we''re looking for ? "


    He pointed his finger at a plant who seemed to be the one .


    Valia : " Yes it is, let''s get couple more then we can go home ."

    After getting rid of two group of bandits , Lusella returned to the cave. She expect me to keep the hunt going but I decided to catch up some sleep . But the freaking coffee prevented me to sleep for two hours , then I finally was able to sleep.


    Hearing somebody calling me , I woke up , thinking it was Lusella .


    Looking where the voice came , I saw three guy in armor probably guard , two of them holding respectively a girl and a boy .


    Guard # 1 : " Hey you ! Wake up ! Tch, I thought the commander hired professional , these piece of trash can''t even do their job right . "


    Oh, they think I''m a bandit . Well I did take their clothes because mine was dirty and I didn''t have any mask.

    Spinning , I uppercut the other one , trying mimic a move that I saw in video game , but instead of fire coming out of my punch , I added a bit of lightning in it.


    Mark : " Shoryuken! "

    Mark : " So , how did you guys get caught ?"

    Carrying Valia on my shoulders , Tyrell was walking in front of me .  We were walking toward the bandit camp , Yup I''m going to use the sibling to infiltrate the camp . Valia agreed as long I keep my promise which is to keep them safe.


    Reaching the camp , I observed a bit to verify if they check the people before let them in . Well didn''t have any , bandits are going in and out like in a super market . I could even see bandits bringing some prisoners , probably freshly captured .


    Making up my mind , I wanted to know if there''s a way to end this quickly .


    Walking in with Valia and Tyrell , they didn''t seem to pay us much attention , I guess these kind of thing is ordinary. I could see some extinct fire campfire and dozens of huge tent , but one particularly was bigger than others . On my way to the huge tent , I heard an intrusting conversation .


    Bandit # 1 : "Hey , these day it appear that some of our man got killed."


    Bandit # 2 : "These weakling probably failed their ambush and got themselves killed ."


    Bandit # 1 : " No, I talked with one of the guys who discovered the bodies . It seems that they were the one who got ambushed and killed ."

    Obviously I moved into the wealthy area , heading to the first restaurant that I see . Looking at the menu , I couldn''t believe what I''m seeing , the cheapest meal cost ten gold .


    Holy molly , this is a scram. What ?! A Rainbow Chicken ? ONE HUNDRED GOLD !


    After eating my rainbow chicken who gave me a rainbow of salty , sweet and spicy flavor, it was degusting . I headed to a blacksmith to buy a the most expensive steeled gauntlet . It cost me 350 gold but I seem to be well made .

    Leaving the city , I put back my the bandits uniform . I was ready to farm these bandits .

    After five hours , I only managed to get rid of four group of seven bandits.

 Chapter 13 : Cocky and arrogant

    Ike Grandall  ... Isn''t that the guy who want to find me ? Should I run away ? He''s after all an ex elite knight . Mmh , maybe if I strike first would I be able to win ?


    Ike : " Hey , what are you doing alone ? Didn''t you hear that , there''s a killer around killing you trash ? "


    Okay , let''s try . If I ever loose , Lusella got me . At least I hope so .


    Mark : " The killer is around here , please help me ! "


    I was gesticulating excessively trying make him believe me .


    Ike : " FINALLY ! Where is he ?"


    As soon he got his back turned toward me , I instantly casted multiple lightning ball to him . He got blasted away couple meters but he didn''t fall . Dashing in his direction , I throw a punch at him imbue with lightning . He blocked with his left hand and did spine kicked me at the stomach. I took a couple step back .


    Ike : " So it''s You . " He said with a smile while unsheathing his sword.


    Mark : " You''re the mysterious killer aren''t you ?" Mind game , I''m trying to distract him as much as possible to give me an edge .


    He didn''t say anything and straight jumped at me , so fast that it looks like he exploded . He tried to cut me in half with a vertical slash but I successfully jumped at my right and dodged the sword . He saw it coming and did a horizontal slash this time , I couldn''t block this attack since I''m still at the ending of my jumping  . So I blocked it with my gauntlet .


    After the hit I got projected to a tree and my gauntlet was bend in a weird ways . I guess 350 gold this gauntlet was worth it .


    Ike was smiling in a creepy way , he lifted his sword above his head and it started to emit an intense light.


    Ah , I had a bad feeling about this.


    I tried to get away from it but in the same time I was shooting my lightning ball on him . Then he swing his sword downside , a beam like slash appeared and was coming toward me . It was too fast , I couldn''t dodge it . So shielded myself with mana shield , I hate using this since it use a lot mana without giving much protection .


    Crossing my arms in front of me trying to shield my main body as much as possible . At first I succeeded to stall the attack , then the next moment I got blasted and sent ten meters away while destroying the tree in the way .


    Trying to raise myself , every part of my body hurts like if I was beat up by a thousand man. I coughed blood , it seem that I received some internal damage .


    Using all my mana to heal myself  I run as fast I could . I made a mistake trying to fight him I was too cocky and arrogant .


    I hope there''s a next time because I''m going to beat him into a pulp .


    People say that you shouldn''t turn your head when you''re running , but how the hell can you tell where exactly he''s if you don''t see him . Sixth sense apart .


    So I turned my head to see where he was , he was behind me smiling and slowly closing on me.

    My left hand holding my right arm , I tried to condense the lightning and pour as much mana I can at my right hand . At my hand , a huge ball of lightning , at least five time bigger than a normal one .


    When I looked at them , only five bandits remained . I needed to act fast , so I dashed toward Ike and screamed to get the bandits out of my ways . Cocky like he was , he didn''t even try to dodge . He just casted a barrier around him and take the hit . As soon the lightning touched his barrier , it instantly break and he was blasted away. His armor was in pieces , but apart from his skin who is a bit burn , he didn''t have any apparent injury .


    I moved back a bit to recover some of my mana and let the bandits fight for me . Ike may seem fine but I could see it . He was slower , he was breathing faster and started to pant , It clearly show that he was starting to get tired .


    All I have to do now is to wait the best moment to strike , so I tried to stay behind by getting around the area .

    After a whole week spend with the bandits , I have come to the conclusion that their life suck . I mean all we do is sitting around a campfire and talk about daily life . In the rare occasion that we actually attack the travelers , I''m chilling at the back watching them fail like some miserable guy trying to catch a turtle but actually failing. The captain was the worst , he was ordering them around but it did nothing more than confuse them . You know , it''s like in those cooperation game instead of working together they''re flaming each other .


    Did you know that they make a vote to decide if they should violate the woman before handing them to the slave merchant . I voted yes , I just wanted a reason to get rid of them earlier than planned , but surprisingly the majority voted no , they''re like ` Oh, no I got a wife at home, I can''t do this `. It almost make me feel bad to kill them , almost.


    When I killed them , I pretended to take a piss . I jumped on top of a tree and aimed my hand toward the campfire where they were all gathered in a same place . Making sure that everybody was there , I casted Lightning beam , my most powerful spell but it cost so much mana that I can only cast it three time .


    I never tried the spell before today , so I''m not sure if it will be enough.


    Lightning were gathering in front of my hands , and a small blue ball started to form. I could feel my mana drained from me . It grew bigger and bigger until it was twice as big as a water melon . It shot a beam toward the campfire with a tremendous speed .


    When it hit the campfire , a huge blue explosion blew everyone near to it . Some limb could be seen scattered everywhere .

    After giving my prayer , I was finally ready to take over the camp by myself.


    Running toward the camp at full speed , I stopped my track and jumped on top of a tree to prepare a plan . But in front of me were standing one hundred guards and dozens of bandits .

 Chapter 15 : Power Up

    Mark : "Why there''s so many guards in the camps ? Are they taking over or what ? Well I can always sneak in to see what''s going on . " I mumbled.


    Unlike last time where I just walked in , this time I try to will sneak in like a ninja . The last thing that I want is being check by a guard .


    Using my lightning step , I quickly bypassed the guards who were guarding the place . They were a bit startled by the wind that I provoked , but they didn''t seem to be bothered by it . Mission success , I safely made into the camp . I quickly approached the closest bandits to me.


    Mark : "Excuse me , but what''s going on ? I just came back ."


    Bandit : " Oh , Pitur Calar and his guards are taking over the kidnapping squad . "


    Wow , they''re calling their group the kidnapping squad ? Bandits naming sense boys .


    Mark : " Why they''re taking over and who''s Pitur Calar ? "


    Bandit : " Brat , you just came today or what ? "


    Mark : " Yeah something like that . "

    Oh man , me who wanted to end this . Now they''re all trying to hunt me down . What a pain , I have to start all over with the guards now . But it''s a good opportunity , since I have to deal with them soon or later . Two birds with one stone .

    We have been patrolling for couple hours , all we did was walking in circle. It started to really get annoying , how are they going to find me if I was with them since the beginning .

    Finally , I can go hide somewhere and explode them with my beam attack .


    It was fishy , the guards started to surround us the bandits . I have a bad feeling about this . They all draw their swords .


    Bandit : " W-What are you doing ? "

    Bandit : " Please no ! I got a wife and children . I won''t say anything , please spare me !"

    All the guards started to run at us swords at hand . The bandits starting to draw their sword too . One of the guards is running toward my direction . So they''re going to one versus one us , huh.


    Forget what I just say . Ten more soldier in armor are coming out of the bushes . I side stepped the soldier blade and quickly right jab him , his teeth were flying out of his mouth . I seized his throat and break his spine. Two more guards who seemed to notice what I just did , dashed at me , one from each direction , trying to flank me . I casted static field to stun them followed by two lightning ball to blast their heads into ketchup .


    We can clearly see who was winning , the guards are has more team work and were more experienced . Throwing lightning chain and ball continuously , I started to roast them all without distinction . At first they didn''t understand on which side I was , then they started to run in all direction trying to escape from me .


    After making sure that they''re all dead , I scouted the area to see if it was the same elsewhere . Obviously it was the same , the guards were originally two hundred not one .


    I didn''t want to confront them separately it will cost too much mana to fight them like that . It''s convenient for me if they''re all assembled in a same place so I can turn them into ashes .


    Secretly following them , they all gathered at what has been the bandits camp . They were all grouped in front of a armored knight in blue cape . There''s easily more than one hundred fifty man .


    It was the perfect occasion for me , I started to cast lightning beam aiming at one corner , so I can blast as much person as possible in three shot . The beam take three seconds to charge before launching .


    After the first shot landed and exploded 1/3 of their guards , they were shocked and confused . Then they all tried to know where the shot came from , But it was already too late.


    When the second beam exploded 2/3 of them is dead . They all started to regroup and raised their shield at my surprise ,actually I thought that they will get scared and start to run everywhere .

    Coming down from my sniper spot also known as tree , what''s in front of me was pure gore coming straight from horrors movies . Missing limb were scattered everywhere , I wanted to throw up , if I didn''t see before I will probably throw a hundred time over already .


    Walking past the limbs , I was collecting the souls before going back to report my progress at  the ''base'' . But suddenly my foot slipped and I found myself laying down on the grass covered by bloods .


    Mark : " Argh, I will definitely need a shower after this . "


    While raising myself , I saw the red caped knight covered in blood charging at me . My mana was depleted I could only throw a couple lightning ball , that what I just did but he just blocked with his barrier . Then a sort of magic circle appeared in front of him , he passed it , then the next moment he was in front of me , swords above his head and swinging downside toward me .


    Instinctively , I took the a swords close to my left hand and try to parry it . But at the contact of his swords , mine just got cut down like it was some butter . Still acting with my instinct I tried to block with my right arms .


    I know it''s a mistake to do this but it was already too late , better lose a hand than dying . Then I remembered that I couldn''t die.  FUCK ME !


    Parrying the sword with my hand , it penetrate the flesh before stopping dead at the bone . He was surprised at the fact he couldn''t cut my hand down .

    Lusella  walked back into the cave probably to settle the detail about the plan .


    Damien : " We should get going . "


    I followed Damien to the city , we bypassed the usual check up quite because of his armor . We reached to a Huge manor with 3 other mansion near to it .


    We entered to the huge manor , walking in a long corridor decorated by some paint and sculpture . Damien led me into a bureau , a man , green hair with a green bread too was sitting behind his desk writing something .


    Damien : " Mr. Seror , I have brought Mr. Sigfrid . "


    Finil : " Oh Mark , I''ve been warned of your arrival , and you ? Do you know why you''re here ? "


    Mark : " Yeah , to learn couple thing in close quarters combat . "


    Finil : " That''s right , Roland my son, will be your instructor . He started to learn all kind of martial arts since he was young , he''ll be able to teach you with great efficacy . "

I took a couple step back .

    Roland : " You have to try harder Mark , this is nowhere enough . "


    Slowly taking my breath back , I dashed at him arching my hand backward ready to punch him . But he just took a step forward and throw a left jab at my jaw . My movement was instantly stop , I tried again and again to hit him , no matter where I punched , or when I tried to fake a strike to bait him . It always ended up by him dodging it and counter it , he will stop after every counter to let me recover a bit .


    But suddenly he started to beat me down , his punches are like gatling gun . I tried to stop him but I couldn''t  , he pushed me at the ground and keep hitting my face . This situation reminded me of something that I wanted to forget .

    Guy : " Don''t you dare to laid your eyes on her you fucking lazy pig ! "


    Why is he beating me ... All I did was looking at her for a moment . Argh , it hurt so much . Why does this happen to me every time ...

    I was excited to finally met the chosen one , destined to a grand future if what Komir said to me is real . I always admired strength , I wanted to participate to something big , to something that will carved into history . I don''t want to be the center of it , just be a part of it .

I attacked his ear by using the five fingers technique to disorienting him (AN : you will know what I mean if you watched ip man 2 ). Then I punched his chin by the left to knock him out .


    I asked some people to carry him to the infirmary , he was just like I expected .

 Chapter 17 : Transaction

    I slowly opened my eyes , my vision was still blurry and I felt a intense pain at my head , I moaned in pain .


    I first asked myself what happened , then I remembered that I got my ass handed to me in a gold platter , a lot of people was watching too . I still think that I putted a good fight for a beginner .


    I looked around the room , I was in a king size bed  in a luxurious bedroom who looked like it came straight from the medieval age , the room is gigantic , with two table and a desk , sixteen chair and two big windows . Since it was night , the sun light wasn''t coming from the windows . But what caught my attention was a girl sitting in front of the desk , long silver hair reaching her waist and a pair of golden eyes . She''s a bit skinny but still have a magnificent figure . She looked like Valia .( AN : I noticed that I never described her , my bad .)


    No way that I''m attracted to a underage girl . I thought as I see pedobear floating in front of me giving me the `I know what you did ` look .

    Valia : " Sister Lusella send her me here , she told me that I could learn a lot of things to help her . "


    Mark : " Why would you want to help her ? You know that she''s a demon right ? I got my reason but what about you ? "


    Valia : " There''s good and bad demon , like humans . She saved my life and gave me a purpose to live a new one . Tyrell wanted us to start over in an another city but all I want it''s to help sister Lusella , and she already explained why she''s here . "


    Wow , I''m the one who saved her but I wasn''t even mentioned in her speech . She wasn''t kidding about a army of loyal human subordinate . Dem brainwash is op .


    Valia : " Oh it''s the dinner time , would you like me to take you to the dinner room ? "


    Mark : " Yeah , I only ate breakfast . "


    I raised myself from the bed and looked around the room one more time , Valia mentioned and told me that I''m provide with new clothes . So I wore the new close and get ready for the dinner .


    We both left the room in direction to the dinner room . In the dining room , Finil and Roland were already eating .


    Finil : " Oh M. Sigfrid , I''m happy to see that you''re fine . "


    I nodded before sitting on a beautiful chair made in wood , across Roland .


    Valia : " Your dinner will arrive shortly . "


    I gave my thanks to her , she nodded in return and stood still behind me like any maid would .


    Roland : " Mark , I wanted to apologize for what I did to you . I think was too hard on you . And just for you to be assured, you''re very good for a somebody who has no experience with martial arts ."


    Mark : " Well , from my perspective I didn''t seem to be any near to being good . "


    Roland : " Don''t worry , I can assure you that you did well . "


    We passed the night talking about my world , and I was pretty sure they didn''t understand half of the things I said .


    Roland : " Mark I''ll see you tomorrow at 7 am to start training . "


    After taking the last detail about the training with Roland , I left the dining room with Valia who were leading me to my personal bedroom .


    The next day, I met with Roland at the training hall and like asked right on time .


    Roland : " So , for the next nine days , I will teach you how to defend yourself . As I saw from our sparring you didn''t even try to parry nor dodge any of my strike .  "


    Mark : " Well , I dodge most of the time with magic . "


    Roland : " That''s exactly why you should learn to defend yourself without magic ! You shouldn''t waste your mana for something you can do without it , and what will happen if you''re out of mana ? Do you want to be the type of mage who become totally useless when they''re out of mana ? "


    For my defense , I can say that most of the time they''re long dead before I''m `oom` .  But he does have a point and better keep this thought to myself because it sound ridiculously arrogant .


    Mark : " True , please go on . "


    Roland : " Like I said , I will teach you when to dodge , parry or take the hit . You have analyze the situation and act accordingly . "


    Mark : " Easy to say . "


    Roland : " That''s why we will spend fourteen hours a day to teach you how to react to the different type of situation."


    Mark : " What ?! You want to kill me ?


    Roland : " Don''t worry , I''m gonna go easy on you . We are starting with the stick ."


    For the next two days , I was training to dodge the stick that he use to hit me . One would say it should be easy , not when he `stick` it at you with a cadency of a AK-47. But still after many hours of training I succeeded to dodge most of it .


    For the third, fourth and fifth days , Roland and some of the guards shot me with arrows without the arrowhead . They shoot from every direction , it doesn''t look as easy as it seems when there''s six guy shooting at you an arrow every second .


    the last four days , I spend it sparring with Roland , and this time he did go easy on me .


    Roland : " Of course it''s good when you know how to dodge and parry , but have to know how to exploit the opportunities and spaces that it procure . "


    We were protected by boxing gear who covered most of our bodies so we can train longer and have less contusion .


    And finally the days when we are suppose to execute the plan came . I was in my bedroom , preparing myself for the upcoming event until somebody knocked on my door . It was Valia .


    Valia : " There''s a little problem Mark , Hammerbon is here and he want M. Seror to come with him to the transaction point . He told him to brings ten of his best guards with him . I think he want either kill or submit M. Seror by involving him into the transaction . " She said as she handed me a guards uniform .


    Mark : " Very smart of him , but too bad for him , we already planned to kill him from the starts . I think it''s even better if we are amongst them from the start , the ambush will be even more surprising . "


    Valia : " You have to wear the uniform , then join them at the entrance of the manor . "


    I quickly wore the guards outfit and was on the way of joining  Finil . When I arrived at the front entrance them I saw a dwarf in fancy clothes , bald with a huge black beard , and behind him a hundred guards .


    I walked right behind Finil like the other personal guards of the Seror , Roland was standing right next to me at my left .


    Mark : " I guess the plan changed . "


    Roland : " Not really , we will still ambush them , but instead of having fifty man coming from the forest , we''re going to have ten men in their ranks . "


    Mark : " Our decreased number should be a problem ? No ? "


    Roland : " No , Sure it''ll be harder  but it won''t be a problem . Oh it''s time to go by the way ."


    We , Finil guards , were behind Hammerbon guards . Finil was at the front of the group walking next to Hammerbon. A carriage was next to us , probably where the summoned are .


    We left  the city rather quickly , and marched straight to the forest where the meeting would be held .


    Roland : " So , I did a bit a scouting and there''s only three guy in Hammerbon group that are worth saying strong . First there''s that huge blue armored guy , he''s Hammerbon best guards , he''s using a shield and a sword , they call him `the fortress` because of his good defence , he''s probably going to stay near Hammerbon to protect him . " He said as he pointed at the guard who are standing next to Hammerbon.

    Roland : " There''s the black haired guy in pony tail who''s smoking too . He''s a mercenary at the service of Hammerbon , they call him `The tempest ` because of his mastery with the dual blade and how he use them with wind magic . "


    Roland : " And the last and most dangerous one , The Red Dragon , he''s the guy with the red spiky hair and wearing a red rob , he''s engaged by Hammerbon  for his mastery in fire magic . Like his title can tell you he''s crazy . So be careful around these guy . "


    Mark : " Got it . "


    Reaching the meeting point , they unloaded the carriage , as to confirm my suspicion the six summoned was indeed in it .


    They were six of them , I can see Alex and Sasha amongst them , with James Pray and James Devan , I could recognize them because I saw the blockbuster they played . But couldn''t say the same thing for the other two .


    As soon Alex and Sasha saw me , they looked at me with such intensity , no need to be Sherlock to know what they mean . They were all gagged , with both arms and legs tied . To try to calm them down before they blow my cover up , I winked at them, hoping that they understood me , and I think they did . Because they stopped looking at me and were cooperative with Hammerbon guards .


    Twenty figure are walking toward us , all in armor covering their entire bodies . They armor are all in black and the same , except one who looked better than the other one , all in demonic style armor we could see in games and he was the only who''s head wasn''t covered by a helmet . His skin are a bit purplish with two horn coming from both sides of his head .


    Hammerbon and the demons who seemed to be Balathan , talked to each other . From where I''m standing I couldn''t hear anything , the demons showed their carriage full of metals .


    As they''re discussing , a barrage of arrow enhanced by magic and different magic spell crashed into the demons and Hammerbon guards .  A big fog of dust formed after the impact , me and the rest of our squad with the nearby guard and summoned wasn''t affected by attack since we were too far away .


    As the dust started to disperse , fifty red armored people , probably Lusella and co , rushed to the demons who didn''t seem to receive much damage since they protected themselves with a barrier made by multiple black armored knight .


    Unlike the rest of us , half of Hammerbon guards are already turned into ashes . Harmmerbon himself survived the


    Roland : " Time to move Mark , I will let you deal with your friend the summoned . "


    I nodded at his words before I dashed where are the hostages with `Lightning step` and send flying all the guards who were guarding them with a punch who destroyed their faces in less than two second .


    The guys that I punched all take off from the ground nearly the same time . I casted and shot a `Lightning beam` at the pack of guards in front of me , making sure to not hit Roland or Finil in the process .  The light disintegrated everything on his way and upon contact with the ground exploded , everyone who were standing near ten meter radius got blown away , human part and people were flying everywhere .


    The distraction that the explosion made gave me enough time to free the prisoners . As soon I freed them , Sasha ran towards me and hugged me , she is crying .


    Sasha : " Haaa , I thought I was going to die ! "


    Argh , she''s crying what should I do ? I thought as I don''t have any experience with this kind of situation.


    Alex : " Thanks for rescuing us Mark , but how did you know that we''ve been captured ? "


    Before I could respond her , a wave of fire were coming straight at us . I fired a another shot of `Lightning beam` to counter it . It did stop it , but a man in spiky appeared in dust .


    The Red Dragon : " Hey , I thought that you were with us , what are you doing to my precious money ? "


    Mark : " Alex , I didn''t know . So now go to where Damien is he will protect you . " I said as I pointed toward Damien .


    The others asked if they could do something to help before I shut that idea down , in the end they thanked me before going where is Damien .


    While being distraction by the discussion I have with ex-prisoners , `spiky hair ` casted something who seemed to be three fireball except that it looked like missile and he could control it . He directed his fireball towards me, I used `lightning step ` to dodge them one by one while  shooting him `lightning ball` which didn''t do anything because his casted three more directed fireball to counter my spell and the missile doesn''t want to crash into the ground .


    So with `lightning step` I instantly dashed in front him ready to punch him , but as soon he saw me he exploded and it sent me flying covering me with bruise made by the fire , it burned some of my clothe before I could extinguish it .


    He created again the homing fireball , this time I tried to dodge them without using mana . There''s some close call but I successfully dodged them every time , I was trying to waste his mana  .


    Not like I have anything better to do , the demons group are getting ganged by fifty man , it won''t be long before they fall  and Balathan is slowly getting crushed by Lusella and co . The Fortress protecting Hammerbon  is crumbling bit by bit from Finil attack and Roland is going relatively even against the dual sword welders .


    But `spiky hair` is growing impatient , he gave up hitting me with his homing ball . So instead he invoked two homing fire dragon . I couldn''t dodge them without `lightning step` but this time I positioned myself so the dragons will hide me from his sight . I formed a ` lightning spears` in my arm and aimed at where he stood , the fire engulfed the spears before in appeared at the end of the tail and bolted in direction of `spiky hair` . But as soon he saw it he dropped his dragons and concentrate a shield made of fire , the spear still pierced it and inflicted a small cut to his right arm .


    Spiky hair : " Nice try . It a real pleasure fighting you but it''s time to end it . "


    He said as the cut in his arm healed , red scale were forming on his skin , he got taller , bigger , more muscle mass , sharp nail replacing the previous one and his face became more reptilian . Even though his hair are still spiky red .


    Mark : " It''s this what draconian supposed to look like ? Damn you''re ugly , me who thought that draconian were supposed to be sexy . "


    Spiky hair : " Shut up !!! " He said angrily as he spit fire on me .


    Magic circle were forming under me , pillar of fire are coming from them . I dodged the pillar and dashed at him with the intend of pierce him with a `lightning spear` but before I could do that he propelled himself at great speed , surprised me and bashed me away with a inhuman strength before I could use `lightning step `to dodge.


    As I flied ten meter away and landed on the ground painfully , coughing some blood , I think that I have some hemorrhage inside me . But spiky hair didn''t give me any time to rest and formed a pillar of fire under me , I dodged in extremis by rolling on my right .


    I casted `lightning beam` but while casting it , I used `lightning step` to close the gap between me and the red reptilian .


    Shot it right on his face , the explosion distanced us by fifteen meters , I was badly hurt by the explosion , half of my clothes burned with second degree of burn covering some party of my body , spiky hair wasn''t better , he was covered by his own blood , I could see some part of his body are covered by third degree of burn .


    Using the last bit of my mana and strength , I used `lightning step` and formed two `lightning spears` in both of my arms to get in front him instantly and thrust it in chest . But in his last bit a strength he hugged me and started to glow redder than he already was .


    Spiky hair : " At least I will take you with me ! "


    Mark : " HA ! Too bad for you . I . Can''t . DIE . " I said while smiling .


    A shocked and horrified expression formed at his before we exploded in thousand pieces .
