 Chapter 1 - Athalia V茅lios

    Etheria, Near Siene Kingdom


    At the highest mountain a curvaceous and beautiful woman with straight black hair and elven ears stood. She appeared twenty years old and so beautiful that countries waged war for her affection.


    Powerful and wise she had it all, except what she wanted most, the love of family and friends.


    The women took a deep breath and sighed in content. She finally reached the God Realm, and received the reward of more power from the being she spoke with.


    Her raven black hair whipped in the wind and against her porcelain skin as she opened her pale blue eyes.


    Her name, Athalia V¨¦lios. Immortal, once an elf now a goddess. ''''The Ice Goddess.''''


    This title was achieved by hard work and mostly because she completely mastered her main element, water. Once someone mastered a certain element they would receive a special bonus. She just so happened to received the Ice Element.


    There were seven main elements - { Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Lightning, Light, Darkness}


    In this world to achieve power it was necessary to cultivate. There were twelve stages of cultivation and seven realms.


    Apprentice Realm, Intermediate Realm, Master Realm, Heaven''s realm, Immortal Realm and finally God Realm, the one who had no stages.


    Athalia was a simple commoner. Her parents were hardworking people always trying to get the best for her. Along the years she started to understand, she matured. She looked at her parents faces and saw no similarities even if they all shared the same elven ears. That time she understood she was adopted.


    She never really touched the subject but became hurt that they didn''t talk with her about that matter. She received a sudden motivation to start working even harder and so she achieved power. She got into the Royal Academy and she was a happy girl. She had friends and was born talented, a genius of the best.


    She got a extraordinary master and learned everything she could from him.


    Every little drop of love she had in her heart disappeared that day. One single second to end the perfect atmosphere. She remembered like it was yesterday.


    *Flashback*


    I was walking back home with my two best friends, Thomas and Beatrice. They were funny and outgoing. Never caused many problems and I liked them because of that.


    I was not fan of arrogant people.

    It was a calm afternoon the soon was beautiful and the birds were chirping. We were returning home for the summer.


    We were still 1st years, we had no power. That afternoon our steps were stopped by shouts, a man was trying to ran away with a bag full of coins under his arm. The guards were chasing him and we just so happen to be in his ways.


    We didn''t saw the black energy forming on his hand and shot towards us. I wasn''t paying any attention and I felt a sudden pain and someone pulling my arm.


    I fell with a loud tud almost hitting my head. I opened my eyes to see the man already on the ground, but it was not just him, Thomas and Beatrice were too.


    I could understand they protected me from the attack, but why? I reached them and kneeled in front of them to inspect injuries.


    Their skin was starting to turn black and blood was coming out of their mouths. That moment I realized there was nothing I could do for them. I could only cry and scream for the death of my dear friends.


    *Flashback End*


    That moment her heart closed like a shell and it never opened anymore. She didn''t turn arrogant, but people thought of her like that kind of person.


    Shrugging those thoughts out of her mind she jumped out of the mountain and her feet gracefully touched the ground making a small ball of dust appear. Touching her [Storage Ring] she picked a beautiful long black dress. It opened on the sides of her legs and was tight showing her curves. The dress didn''t have any kind of cleavage.


    Her high heels  sinking into the moist earth caused by the rain a few hours ago. Her thoughts twirled inside her mind and she made a decision.


    She would finally enjoy the life as much as she wanted. And she would start by visiting and see everything she wanted. It had been many years since she saw other people. She didn''t know if the races had evolved, if the slavery stopped... So many things she thought she knew were now a mystery she wanted to learn.


    Knowledge.


    Focusing her mana around her body she jumped a little and started to hover in the air. She could now control her body like she was a bird, flying through the skies. Flying was a power achieved by those at the peak of Heaven''s Realm.


    Achieving the Immortal Realm was a difficult and sometimes people stayed stuck on the Heaven''s Realm.


    She decided her route, the nearest Kingdom Siene. She could sense that there were many powerful beasts around but she didn''t really wanted to fight now.


    And so she flew towards the Siene Kingdom.

 Chapter 2 - Old Matters

    Siena Kingdom, Niera City


    Athalia POV


    I finally reached my destination. From up there I could hear the loud sound of chatting and laughs. People walking, running. I was far away from the city but my senses were at their best.


    The quality of life improved, even if there was still no other source of light besides the torched lit by fire or Light magic making it look more natural. The carriages seemed faster and it was necessary to ''''feed'''' it with mana. Unfortunately I could still see people dragging along shackles, slaves.


    I sighed, disappointed, and went down to the ground. I safely landed inside the garden of someone. Oops.


    I whistle in amazement.I should say this was an enormous house. I don''t know what they called it but I wouldn''t mind have one of this. The garden was big too and surrounded by iron fences and an iron gate.


    I sensed steps coming towards me and quickly stood still.


    Seconds after appeared thirty soldiers in front of me pointing their swords and spears at me. Did I invaded the house of someone powerful? What am I thinking of course I did...


    Every soldier was looking at me with lust in their eyes. Disgusting. A big guy stepped to the front and made a stern look. I swear if he is arrogant I swear I will beat him to a pulp.

    The others around the man started to laugh and I smirked in amusement. The man was about to burst from rage. Before he could do anything it was heard a shout.

    The voice was angelic, not more than mine, and made many of the soldiers calm down. I turned away from the Guard Man 1 and directed my gaze towards the feminine voice.


    The women was maybe in her forty''s but still was beautiful. She had short blond hair and hazel eyes. I sensed that she was only in the Heaven Realm fifth stage. After her, appeared a man almost in his fifty''s at the peak of Heaven''s Realm. I could tell that he couldn''t reach immortality.

    I locked my gaze with the man and I could see he sensed my power because he started to sweat, a lot.  Sometimes is funny to see people''s reaction.

    The soldiers were confused but didn''t deny the command from their boss. Lord Morrison bowed too and directed his gaze towards his wife making her bow too.

    In a blink of an eye I twisted his hand in a horrible angle. The man fell to the ground screaming like a mad man. The soldiers seemed hesitant to help him and decided to stay still.

    Lord Marrison quickly stood up followed by his wife who was as confused as the others.

    Lord Morrison sent away the soldiers and they tried to carry the man on the ground. Tried. I looked at their faces, trying to lift him up.


    I snapped my fingers and the body of the man was levitated by a gust of wind and landed on a plane rock. That would help them.


    They looked at me with an awed look and grateful towards me.


    Lord Morrison and Lady Morrison showed me around the house very careful with words. We were in a corridor full of rooms and while passing by a door I felt something. The something I was looking for.


    The aura of Philippe Morrison.


    I kicked the door making the hinges break and fall on the ground. The man inside looked at me calm and smirking.


    He was the worst of all the five immortals. An arrogant prick.He was still looking like a thirty year old man,still handsome, his messy red hair  and green eyes.

    We stayed silent for a few seconds until he broke the silence.

    They showed me my assigned room and I ate dinner there. I wasn''t fan of crowds, or being around many people. After a servant came and left with the dirty dishes I picked a black robe and went to sleep.

    The wind was blowing and a storm was coming. All I could see was the ice beneath my freezing feet and the snow falling on my body. I hugged my body in search for warmth.

    I softly laid on the hard bed and closed my eyes waiting for my conscious to be mine. Only mine. I could feel master hovering his hands above my body and head. My body started to feel like it was on fire and I couldn''t hold back the screams and tears.


    I opened my eyes to look for some comfort and in my body were appearing many symbols, tattoos, runes, whatever you call it. They were shining in black and some in gold.

    I jolted out of the bed sweating and breathing heavily. I tried to calm down. This damn nightmares always haunting me.


    I changed to new clothes, stored in my ring. A long red dress. I put some red lipstick and a bit of makeup.

    I opened the window and flew out of there.


    The wind was calm today so it didn''t cause me problems for my eyes. One hour later I reached the Twil Forest, in the Loin Kingdom. In the middle of the forest stood a high elegant building.


    Not everyone could find it since it had a barrier protecting from evils outside like beasts, and people.


    I safely landed in front of the building and looked at the big wooden doors. I pushed the gold handle and I looked around. It''s still the same as I remember it was one hundred years ago. It was enormous, even if it didn''t have much furniture it looked elegant.


    There was big round table in the center surrounded by five beautiful chairs that looked like thrones. I sat on mine and closed my eyes waiting for someone to arrive.


    Not many time after I heard two persons outside and waited for them to enter.

    They knew that there were strict rules when it comes to have children. Yet they give it a try. If they were born immortals it would be so easy.


    They turned dead silent and we stayed there looking at the ceiling. Finally I felt the two other who were late. That two horrible beings that shouldn''t exist.


    The door opened once again and Phillipe appeared with a women clinging on his arms. Such a slut.

    I glared at them and Phillipe turned his gaze to the others while Aya had the guts to look me in the eye, that bitch is going to die by my hands, I swear.


    Everyone sat in their respective seats and we all looked at each other waiting for someone to start talk.

    I crossed my arms and started to think about this.

    I put a hand on my chin. He has great potential and works as a teacher? Is he dumb or he really likes that job?


    -" So who volunteers to visit our new partner?" [Ricky]


    Everyone put on a complicated look.

    I nodded. Still think it was a foolish idea but I wouldn''t mind see their baby one day.


    I looked at Phillipe expecting something. He just begun to scratch the back of his neck and smiled faintly.


    He didn''t even need to talk. I already knew he wouldn''t have time or some shit.


    I sighed.

    We all nodded and got out of there some goodbyes were heard other weren''t.


    I didn''t want to wait much time on this. Wait it doesn''t really matter.


    I opened my inventory and picked my golden ring. It hold the power to hide my cultivation to make it easier to walk around.


    I was about to fly out of here when I felt something. An excruciating pain hit me. My chest hurt like hell.


    I dropped to my knees and Phillipe ran to me gripping my shoulders.


    I glared at him and clenched my teeth.

    He quickly let go of my shoulders and looked at me with a worried face.


    I relaxed a bit and focused on my breathing. After a bit the pain stopped but it still hurt, just a bit.


    I should''ve expect this I knew it would come back, sooner or later.


    I quickly got out of there and headed to my destination.

    Kios Kingdom, Qia Academy


    Huff. Finally I reached this bloody kingdom. Why is the Human continent so large?


    I should just visit the Elven Kingdom and meet my race. Never had the time since I was always cultivating. I guess I deserve some vocations.


    It was night time so the school was closed, obviously. But I would have a talk with the director.


    Who would''ve have thought the child I saved fifty years ago when I was reaching the mountains turned into the headmaster of one of the most prestigious academy''s?


    The streets were calm but at the same time people knew that danger was always around. After passing by some drunk people and punching some guys I finally reached the Academy.


    The gates protecting it were tall and I could feel a barrier around the school.


    I walked around the school and finally catched a glimpse of an open window. The lights were on and I could see someone sitting on a chair.


    I quickly jumped from the ground and went in the school breakig the barrier. No alarm gave off but I knew he noticed.


    I gripped the window and carefully went in the office. Noticing my presence he turned towards me surprised by my sudden appearing.


    When he looked at me he widen his eyes.


    "- Aunty?" [ Headmaster/Urikes ]


    I smacked the back of his head and glared at him.


    -" Who are you calling aunty you brat?! For you it''s Lady Athalia." [Athalia]


    His cheeks flushed. He lightly bowed and apologized.


    I sat in the chair in front of his desk and crossed my legs.


    -" So.. Lady Athalia I suppose it was you who broke the barrier." [Urikes]


    -" Yeah, it''s crappy you know. You should get a new one." [Athalia]


    He nodded.


    -" After so many years... What are you doing here?" [Urikes]

    He looked at me expecting the words to go out of my mouth. I looked at him. He''s hair wasn''t the brown it used to it was now grey and white and his face was full of wrinkles.


    Old age.


    -" I want to have a talk with one of your teachers, Zander Hion." [Athalia]

    -" Did he do something? I think he is a nice guy." [Urikes]

    Zander''s POV


    I rubbed my eyes from the lack of sleep the earlier night. My girlfriend kept nagging me saying I wasn''t givig her the needed attention and saying I was betraying her.


    Seriously why is she such a drama Queen.


    I had to get ready to classes. While dressing up I started to think about my life.


    Working hard really gave me somethig. At such an young age I''m proud to be an Immortal.


    Even if I''m not as great as the first Immortal, who reached immortality at twenty years old.


    I idolize her, even if I don''t know her name, nor how she looks, I know that are books talking about her but they were extremely expensive and I never learned anything about her besides that little information. They talked about her on school but not many knew her name.


    I shook my head and looked my self again in the mirror. I had dark blue hair, brown eyes almost black and a handsome face. Not being narcissistic here, ok?


    I put my ring on to hide my cultivation. It was troublesome to walk around the school and people looking at you or treating you a different way just because you are Immortal.


    As a kid I always liked to learn and as such I wanted to teach others. So it was always a dream of mine.


    After walking for a bit ,buying a warm bread and eating it I reached the school.


    I showed the guards my card and they let me in.


    As I was walking around the campus I heard my name being called.


    -" Zander!" [???]


    I turned around to see a tired man. He was Nicholas a fellow teacher. I guess you could say we were good friends. He had brown eyes and brown hair and had round glasses.


    He was trying to catch his breath.


    -" T-the director called you at his office. And there is an extreme beauty with him! I can die peacefully now!" [Nicholas]


    I looked at him surprised. The director wanted to talk with me? And a beauty? What kind of beauty? More than Jasmine? (My girlfriend).


    I thanked him and quickly headed to the director''s office. I knocked on the door and waited.


    -" Come in." [Urikes]


    I opened the door and went inside. What I saw made me wide eyed. The headmaster was standing up while a BREATHTAKING beauty was sitting on his favorite chair with her legs on the desk.


    I just saw a goddess. Her cold yet mesmerizing blue eyes and that black hair... Damn.


    -" Urikes. Shoo Shoo." [Athalia]


    The women just waved her hand shooing the headmaster! And called him by his name?


    Headmaster quickly got out of the room but not before whisperig me something.


    -" Be careful, she can be a demon." [Urikes]


    And then the door closed an it eas just the two of us. I loudly gulped. She was at the eight stage of Heaven''s Realm yet why was I feeling such a pressure coming from her?


    She looked at me with a blank face and after a great silence she finally spoke.


    -" You can drop the act." [Athalia]


    At first I was confused but then she removed a ring she was using. It was identical to mine but hers was made of pure gold and mine was only silver.


    I almost dropped to my knees when her aura was realised.


    God Realm! I truly am meeting a goddess.


    I didn''t want to disrespect her so I quickly removed my ring showing my 1st Stage Immortal Realm aura.


    -" So, it''s a pleasure to meet a new Immortal. I''m here representing the other too and ... Bah forget it I''m not good with speeches." [Athalia]


    How did they discover me? I was careful.


    -" You must be wondering how we discovered you well it was Ricky. I had no time to search so... Now getting to the real point! You will now start to attend the council meetings when needed. " [Athalia]


    Me? Meeting other fellow immortals? I''m going to fail so bad.


    -" Well I''m done here. I will contact you when the time comes. If you need something, just call me with a crystal ball." [Athalia]


    She said as she grabbed a pen


    and paper and wrote her number.


    I looked at the paper excited. She was about to go away but I needed to ask her something.


    -" Wait, what is your name?" [Zander]


    She made a hurt look.


    -" Does no one recognize me in this world? Well record my name well boy. 1st Immortal, Athalia V¨¦lios." [Athalia]


    And then she vanished like wind.


    I just met my idol.


    And I can''t stop thinking about her.

    Athalia''s POV


    That young man was really interesting. It''s always fun to meet young fellows. I guess now I have time for myself and I can have some rest.


    Before I could do anything more my orb started to buzz. For god''s sake, who is it? Without looking I quickly picked it up.

    I knew the person could understand my tone of voice.

    I groaned.

    I had met Silvia when she was a twenty year old girl. She was actually a great marchant and I really needed something only she had. She was a super stubborn girl so, she didn''t accept money. An hen I tried to use my influence she somehow managed to slip away.


    She eventually decided to work for the Royal Guards. She was more of a detective and she had a bunch of spies she controlled.


    -" So, I along with my teammates discovered a threat to the Zion Continent." [Silvia]


    -" So what? Last time I checked I didn''t belong to any specific continent." [Athalia]


    -" Please, don''t be like that. As I was saying we discovered that in a remote area near our kingdom there is like a group of thugs. But they are strong thugs and their leader even more. If... If you could use that amazing skill you have maybe you could infiltrate and discover more?" [Silvia]


    I sighed. There has been many years since I used that ability. It takes a large amount of mana and sometimes it can e very tiresome.


    -" Ok...I will do it." [Athalia]


    Silvia started to shout from the happiness she was feeling.


    -" Do you have a body ready?" [Athalia]


    -" Yes, we catched one of them. [Silvia]


    -" Ok I will be there as soon as I can." [Athalia]


    And then I ended the call. Let''s head to the Zion Continent then. I guess later I can take my vocations.


    I then flew.

    I finally reached the Zion continent and headed to a local pub where Silvia loved to hang out.


    While inside I ignored all the gazes and murmurs and patiently waited for Silvia. She was the one asking for help, yet she dares to show up late.


    Or was I too early? Doesn''t matter.


    After nearly thrity minutes I finally saw her entering the pub. She was greeted by almost everyone and always wore a cheerful smile, when the truth was that she was a women full of problems.

    Suddenly I punched the wall making a small crater. Small peebles fell of and landed on the ground. I quickly picked them up and crouched in front of the sleepy man.

    I focused my mana at the end of my fingers and with a quick swoosh I cut deep into his throat, making him start gagging on his own blood.

    She nodded and prepared to catch my body. I put my fingers on the mans forehead and started to chant a complicated spell.


    Finally finishing it I felt my conscious fading and black met me.

    I opened my eyes and I saw that I was in the same room.


    The only thing different now was that I was now the man.


    I quickly snapped the shackles from my wrists and stood up. My new body had already started to heal and after two seconds I couldn''t feel more pain.


    I started to rummage through the man''s memories but I could only catch few glimpses of his Leader and he was always protected by a deep black hood, hiding his face.


    This power came with a great flaw.My power would become less than my original in this body.


    -" I still find it strange when you do that." [Silvia]


    I glared at her.


    -" I will go now." [Athalia]


    She nodded and I quickly found my way out of that building and by feet I carried myself through the forest waiting to find their hiding place through the memories.

 Chapter 6

    I should say this journey is turning out really difficult. This body isn''t even in the middle of Heaven''s Realm and this forest is full of monsters.


    How did he manage to pass through here?


    While walking I access his memories. I couldn''t hear the conversations which was a fatal flaw but at least I could see faces.


    They were all seating and drinking beer laughing an probably screaming. The man around this body were all muscles heads. I don''t know what is so funny but it was probably from drinking.


    I still couldn''t catch a glance of the leader and it frustrated me. I don''t know why but I had a feeling we met. If we haven''t then I don''t know how he knows me.


    Suddenly an Ice wolf jumped foward. Making me stop acessing the memories. I jumped in surprise. What was an Ice animal doing in a forest?


    I picked a sword and prepared to attack. The wolf started to growl like mad and I finally understood why. It was protecting the infants.


    He seemed to not understand that I didn''t want to kill them, I had to run from here without damaging them.


    At this times is when I really needed the ability to fly.


    The wolf jumped foward and it almost grabbed the collar of my shirt if I didn''t have dodged.


    Suddendly I felt a liquid streaming down my face. I touched it and gazed at my fingers. The wolf had scratched deep into my cheek.


    What an exciting moment. How many years has it been since I had an injure? A scratch?


    My blood boiled from excitment. My arms and hands trembling with need to fight. My chest started to hurt.


    Shit! Breathe. I can''t let this kind of emotion reach me.

    I clenched my teeth and gripped my hands. I felt my nails wounding my hand. My knuckes were turning white.


    How could I be so careless? I need to end this soon and reach home, there I can pick some medicine to help with this.

    Full of anger I couldn''t care anymore and while gathering mana on the sword I managed to gather strenght and made a full swing with the sword cutting the wolf in two.

    After a week I finally could see their hiding. It was night now and the lights were on. There was a happy ambient and of course drunk man.


    Reaching the place I saw two guards. They were no simple guards. They were almost experts at dark magic and they had serious faces, like all the others.


    But when they saw me they seemed to smile and relief showed on their faces. Gale and Paul.


    -" Drake! Man, we thought you were caught by that investigator!" [Paul]

    I nodded. I guess I had to talk more since this man was talkative.

    -" Well, she must have hurt your head pretty bad, huh? Well, we are preparing to attack the Royal Family of the Zion Kingdom. Accordig to the Leader he is going to be King and we are going to be high nobles and rich!" [Paul]

    I quickly got out of there and went inside a house. This was apparently my house. It had simple things such as a wooden bed and a kitchen.


    I sat on the bed and put my hands on my head. This was nuts, I need to warn Silvia and Zander too.


    I picked my orb and called Zander. I was gettig nervous since he wasn''t picking but after some time he accepted the call. I changed my voice to my original and waited for him to talk.

    I almost shouted. I could clearly hear two different breaths.

    I was worried about Zander. I had a bad feeling. I had a feeling that this leader of them was... An Immortal.

    Suddenly I heard something falling on the ground. A body.
