Legend " " = people talking italics = people thinking * * = sounds '' '' = people talking within telepathy CAPS = Power usage Prologue: Character Creation When I found out that the newest VRMMO World of Destiny used the newest nanotech capsule to rehab injured people in a more fun manner, I was ecstatic! Not only could I regain my leg, I could also kill to my heart¡¯s content! Being a game, it would not be rare to find people who spent all day killing stuff; in fact, it would be seen as normal! Fortunately, the creators of World of Destiny have made the majority of the MMOs I¡¯ve played in the past, so no problem learning the mechanics. Of course they love the whole, spend an eternity reaching level 100 model, but that¡¯s fine as I¡¯m stuck in the stupid game for a year anyways! Unfortunately this game has a 1:1 time ratio as any other ratio and the rehab wouldn¡¯t work as the stuff you do in game gets transferred to the capsule and then to the body. Only difference is, World of Destiny is a pure game, 99% realism with 100% game mechanics. You don¡¯t need to eat or sleep in the game, food increases energy or health only, same as a potion only with a different cooldown and only useable out of combat. However, I read that meditation can increase your energy bar or qi as some are starting to call it. Qi is not a new concept, it can be used to increase quality of life to a large margin, only it¡¯s super hard to train in and most people¡¯s meridians are not good enough to get very far. I even heard that with the $100,000 capsule, if I learn how to push qi through my meridians in game, the nanotech will fix my meridians in real life and help me utilize it here as well! At first losing my leg to a drunk driver in high school was the worst thing ever, especially since I could no longer catch bugs afterwards! How am I supposed to kill bugs if I cannot catch them! Yes I know I¡¯m a psychopath but at least it only makes me kill, it doesn¡¯t make me kill people, that is my only saving grace. Especially since I¡¯m rich, or rather my dad is, and the settlement from the drunk driver case made me rich as well, at least rich enough to waste $100,000 on a capsule and even buy the first year¡¯s subscription as well as all my utilities in advance. It really sucks that I was top of my class in both athletics and grades, but losing my leg right before graduation destroyed all my after school plans. No way was I going to college when I had more money that I¡¯d ever be able to spend. That is why I spent all day playing MMOs and killing pixels, it helped the craving but wasn¡¯t enough. I knew I had to do something or I¡¯d snap and then next thing I know the mailman will be dead and I¡¯m sitting in prison. I can¡¯t have that! World of Destiny is my only hope! Who knows, maybe some of my old athletics will help me in game, though all I¡¯ve been able to train the past few years now that I¡¯m 22 is my dexterity. Since it¡¯s been a little over 4 years I also have no friends as they all went on with their life and did other things. And I can¡¯t consider people I played video games with as my friends. I will remake myself and finally have freedom! And with that I turn off everything but my internet and power and strip myself to get in the capsule. Also a little on the skinny side but I did get lazy and didn¡¯t work out as much so lost some definition, but I¡¯d never get fat! The leathery wings are cool and so is the triangle tipped tail, but nothing I wouldn¡¯t expect to see on a Demon so it¡¯s all good. Of course my skin was red and I had pointy ears, so much for not being an Elf! ¡°So what can I change?¡± ¨CMe ¡°You can change two things only and only by small amounts.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Hum¡­ give me back my muscle definition, I don¡¯t wanna look this scrawny, also make me taller. Okay we are done here, next you just need to choose your starting class from fighter, rogue, healer, caster. You said you like daggers so I am assuming rogue?¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Yes rogue sounds fine, but what can I become at 10, I should probably set up my path now no?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Rogue has 3 paths at 10, Assassin, Blademaster, and Archer. Of the 3, only Archer doesn¡¯t use daggers, Blademaster can choose swords but my data tells me it¡¯s better to use daggers even as a Blademaster, though don¡¯t tell anyone I said this. It has to do with the stats per level you gain as a Blademaster vs an Assassin. Normally you would get 13 power and speed per level with your race, but with Blademaster you gain another 15 in both of those versus just gaining 10 power and 20 speed as an Assassin. Sure you are faster as an Assassin, but your attacks are weaker overall with daggers since Blademasters get parry and armor pen, Assassins just get backstab and other tricks.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Wow a lot of info, okay I choose Rogue!¡± ¨CMe ¡°Now you get to choose from starter village and tutorial. Tutorial has no set length and it is possible to reach level 10 and skip the starter village but that is up to you. Since you are handicapped it is recommended to go to tutorial since it has no time limit and can teach you how to move your character properly. Once the joystick appeared in my head I started to move it around like any flight sim game. It was very easy to do 3d movement especially since I only had to think about which direction to go. I also noticed the energy flowing through my body which I guessed was Qi. This made me wonder since I was using one of the realistic pods if I could do the same thing manually. Having a good memory, I memorized all the movements that I felt internally and externally. Then I cancelled the skill. ¡°By the way, where is my luck or charm stat? Or rather how do I gain new skills or learn skill books?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Everything is money based, unlike older games, you don¡¯t use luck or charm to determine loot drops or can you spend the points to learn new skills. Loot that drops will drop and gold is used to learn skills. This keeps a constant money sink in the game.¡± ¨CFaefae Typically Buzzard game, always tons of money sinks so the economy stays fresh. ¡°By the way, can I fly manually or just use the qi the same way manually?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Fufufu, that¡¯s a secret but since I like you, the answer is yes. First I start to try to move the qi through my meridians. This alone took 15 minutes! Why is it so hard to channel qi? Not knowing wtf I am doing. I just channel the qi throughout my body until I could move it to the tips of my toes or my fingertips and all the way to my head. I still wasn¡¯t able to move it through my wings so instead, I moved them to my feet and started to run normally and then see if I could increase my speed by pushing qi to my legs and push off on my feet. At first I couldn¡¯t get the timing right as I was going all over the place, but eventually I figured out how to circulate my qi perfectly so I just moved faster naturally without thought! *DING*

Another few hours and I was able to circulate them perfectly like they were my arms or legs. It was very weird moving qi to appendages that I didn¡¯t have in real life, but now I figured it out and the wings were an extension of my body. I also noticed that I was walking and running perfectly. I guess being an athlete before the injury helped tremendously as I didn¡¯t have to relearn at all! Now that the wings were mine I needed to make sure I had no other problems. That is when I forgot about my tail! The tail is necessary for balance while in the air! So I spent the next hour circulating qi in my tail too. That much easier, and next thing I knew it I was scratching my back with my tail! A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. ¡°Okay I¡¯m ready to fly!¡± ¨CMe So I started to fly! *SMACK* And of course I planted my face in the dirt as it is impossible to fly perfectly the first time! After a few more attempts I was able to stay in the air! I then started to fly higher than the 10 meters the other flying limited me too and realized I had no limit! I could fly as high as I want, only I needed to circulate more qi to make sure I didn¡¯t lose my way and fall to the ground. Once I remembered how birds used their wings to catch hot air currents, I started to do this and flying got 10x easier. Eventually I had perfected flight so I went back down to where Faefae was waiting. *DING*

¡°No need wasting time looking at what it does, it¡¯s obvious. Stealth does lower your speed by 30% at level 1 though so be sure to level it up, the penalty drops by 10% each level so by level 30 it won¡¯t have any penalty and at max level you will move 70% faster while stealthed!¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°That seems insane! Do I not gain any other skills or dagger type skills?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Not until level 10, archers get no benefits for using a dagger and at level 10 you will gain the 35% damage bonus for using the right weapon type which for you is dagger or sword, and since you are choosing dagger you can make sure to buy the right skill.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°How will I afford it if I just stay here in tutorial?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Don¡¯t worry, once you are ready, you will be fighting stuff and gaining some money that way. The tutorial stays until you quit it! Also remember you can still die here and death means you lose a level with a chance of losing a piece of gear. More drops if you are red too so be extra careful and fly away and stealth so you don¡¯t die! Both don¡¯t cost any energy to use so you can always use it!¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Okay then what next?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Now follow me, here are some dummies, you can practice your daggers on them. Normally this step is skipped but since you already know the secrets and what to do, I will let you do it.¡± ¨CFaefae It was at this time that I wondered what it would be like to be a monk. As I already figured out how to channel qi throughout my body. Well one advantage that I know I have over others is my real dexterity that the game cannot take away from me. Being without a leg I¡¯ve long since mastered the art of swinging my dagger in the same place 13 times within a single second! So the first thing I do is charge the dummy and do just that! I attack dead center 13 times within 1 second! -2 -3 -2 -3 -4 -2 -5 -3 -2 -3 -4 -2 -3 Hah it works! And since all the attacks were in the same spot and the same way the system did not register it as a combo! This works in my favor as combos cost qi and restrict my movements as I am forced to follow them. I hate combos! Unfortunately the damage is weak because of my shitty stats and shitty dagger. Also using qi to make my hands move faster won¡¯t work as my dexterity is already maxed, no way I can make it any better. Now stronger? I should be able to make it stronger! Time to test this qi thing a bit. Next thing I do is put the qi in my arms to increase my strength to see if it does anything like with the movement speed. Channeling all the qi to my right arm and screaming I attack the dummy! -6 Success! *DING*

¡°Don¡¯t feel bad, this is a skill that is already part of the game so no fancy notification for the world. Though most won¡¯t learn it until the endgame and then only if they learn the real usage of qi.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°No problem, let me learn this final skill so we can move on!¡± ¨CMe It was weird how I felt, my qi was circulating on its own! My muscles were getting a revitalizing amount of qi and my legs and feet were getting the same as the two SS ranked passives did their job. Moving my qi to my weapon I knew what I was trying to create wasn¡¯t the standard enchant the blade and attack, as every class gets that the moment they reach level 10. So I thought about what I should be doing knowing it will be 10x harder than it would be if I just hit level 10 first then tried to make the skill. Thinking nothing of it, I finally after 3 hours managed to move qi to the end of my blade. It took a few more minutes to evenly distribute it across my dagger. By now mid day is long over and this beautiful spring day is starting to get dark. Once I had the qi at the end of my blade I thought about the things I could do with it. Then I realized I did not have a ranged attack! So I started to swing my dagger at the dummy while trying to send the qi out of the blade. I knew only healers and casters could really use their qi externally but there is no reason why the blade can¡¯t do the same thing! Eventually a stream of white qi left my blade and hit the dummy. -7 Success! *DING*

I then went and checked all my other skills and noticed that none of the others had a cost. This meant that only when I use qi outside of my body do I actually lose it. I guess this makes sense as otherwise the qi is just circulating throughout my body without any loss. I¡¯m so glad this is a video game that focuses more on the game than the reality portion of virtual reality. I mean I don¡¯t have to eat or sleep, nor do I run out of stamina! Just like an mmo! Luckily, my capsule keeps me in a sleep state and feeds my body or I¡¯d be in trouble! But none of these skills show why my qi seemed to regen so quickly, very curious that. ¡°So what determines qi regen?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Casters and Healers get meditation during the tutorial and when they use it, they feel their qi circulating through their body and it regens super fast during this time. Fighters and Rogues are out of luck, but you have two abilities that circulate qi throughout your body so your regen is probably fast since qi circulation is realistic as if this were real life.¡± ¨CFaefae Wow, so the two passive skills that I have that circulate my qi through my body help with my regen since the skill makes it run all the time. So if I didn¡¯t have the skill I would not have a high regen unless I manually circulated my qi. No wonder the movement skill I made was so high ranked, it came with qi regen! Speaking of ranks, they don¡¯t make any sense, why is flight skill the highest rank possible and body strengthening is average rank. ¡°Okay I think I¡¯m ready to fight monsters, but can you explain the skill ranks? They don¡¯t make sense to me. Why does the flight skill have the highest rank but body strengthening is only rank B?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Easy, ranks start at F and go down to A then S, SS and finally SSS. But the key is there are two types of skills, utility and attack skills. Utility skills are ranked based upon how much they can help you in a fight and since your movement skill will make you able to run away from anyone, it was ranked very high. Qi blade is categorized as attack since it is an attack skill, and the small amount of damage only puts it in the B category, where body strengthening is both utility and attack, and it also helps with your qi regen has you found out which makes it SS rank.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Yes but why is manual flight SSS rank? Isn¡¯t that the legendary rank that nothing should ever reach?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Yes, but unfortunately you are too new to the game to realize how game breaking your flight skill is. Just know it is the ONLY possible way to fly above 50 meters during the first half of the game before evolution. You can also jump off any cliff and survive, no one else will be able to do this unless they first learn how to circulate their qi and gain this skill. This skill isn¡¯t even a hidden skill, which is why you didn¡¯t get a system wide notification for it. It is a standard skill that anyone can learn and is pretty obvious one that is learnable, but it almost took you 24 hours to learn it and no one else is going to go through that hell to learn it making it as of now the only SSS ranked skill in the game.¡± ¨CFaefae Wow that¡¯s crazy, that means I definitely need to practice using it in combat because of my movement skill is considered so good because of an ability to run away from a fight, a free flight skill is at least 100 times better skill. ¡°Okay where are the monsters?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Fufufufu, you are in luck as it is now dark and monsters become 50% stronger at night!¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Wait what do you mean by that? I thought levels determined everything?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Well they do, but what if a monster is above the normal rank? Then it will be much stronger! Monsters can be Elite or Boss but that doesn¡¯t determine their tier, tiered bosses can drop loot of that tier, at level 1 the best you might see is a Black Iron tiered item, but even they are better than the normal unranked gear your current armor and dagger is.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°So um¡­ what are the ranks again?¡± ¨CMe ¡°There is a rank for each 10 levels, also a new class ever 10 levels that correspond to it. At level 10 you will become a Blademaster but at level 20 you will become a Bronze Blademaster. How am I supposed to hurt him if I can¡¯t break through his natural defense??? Wait! Does it matter where I attack him? I mean the game just gave me attack numbers and defense numbers, no critical hits even for hitting his heart, I¡¯ll ask Faefae while I dodge. ¡°So does it matter where I attack him at? Even his heart didn¡¯t give me a crit.¡± ¨CMe ¡°Sorry, crit chance is base 0% until you get some gear or skills that improve it.¡± ¨CFaefae Lame, well if that¡¯s the case then I¡¯m going MMA on his ass! On his next swing to my head I dodge again to his right but this time I grabbed his hands and twisted his body around and grappled him to the floor by putting both my legs on his chest and putting his hand in an arm lock. Now normally I would just break his arm but since there are no critical hits I¡¯m just going to hold him in place! Good he can¡¯t move it seems, guess weight matters in this game! Time to keep repeating this over and over, it seems I have to wait 1 second between each 13 hit combo which is still faster than real life as the oxygen leaves my hand normally. Maybe that is because of the Qi circulation! It took nearly 2 minutes to kill him this way but it was worth it!

Well there actually isn¡¯t even an inventory limit, perfect game for hoarders!¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Wow the developers really made this a game and took out all the stupid shit that every other VRMMO has. I mean who plays a game to work, sleep, eat, or even shit? Also who wants to get tired or sweat? Those things have no place in a game! Games are supposed to be fun! This whole thing took 3 hours until I was level 4 mindlessly killing these goblins, but fortunately a couple of them dropped worn daggers and now I have two of them in my hands and I keep switching them out as durability gets low as I cannot repair at all and there isn¡¯t a town to be seen! ¡°Okay I¡¯m level 4, now what?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Now you find the mini-boss and somehow survive!¡± ¨CFaefae Ahh fuck this guy looks bigger than the rest!
Hobgoblin Level 7 (Elite) H: 4200, A: 23-35, D: 34
¡°What the fuck? How am I supposed to kill him with worn daggers? And to make things worse he¡¯s a rogue! And what is with that defense and health?¡± ¨CMe ¡°He has armor and better weapons, obviously his stats will be better *SNICKERS*.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Fine, I got this! Even at 1 damage a hit I only have to hit him 4200 times!¡± ¨CMe Fuck even with my self made combo it will take at least 11 minutes to kill him, and that¡¯s only if I can trap him like the others and get free attacks off. What the fuck? He disappeared! -15 -21 Ouch! One attack while invisible and I already lost hp, leaving me with 324 left! Well it¡¯s time to use my sensing abilities from back when I did martial arts to find him! Oh that¡¯s right, I have stealth too! STEALTH! ¨CMe Now it¡¯s an even battle, I just have to find him first and then think of a plan. After 15 minutes of trying to detect him with my eyes closed I finally felt his killing intent! *DING*

Oh he is a mage and throw a fireball in my face. I guess defense doesn¡¯t stop magic at all, guess I still need to be careful. Wanting to test out my wings I look at the five bandits that have surrounded me and fly straight up and over them, landing behind the one caster out of the five, it seems the other one is a healer. I then do my combo with both hands on the mage to see how it fairs. -22 -24 -30 -29 -24 -25 -21 -28 -30 -22 -23 -26 -25 -11 -15 -14 -13 -12 -13 -11 -14 -12 -15 -14 -15 -13 Wow one combo set almost took out half his life! Dammit! Fucking healer healed him for a good 10% of his life in one cast, I call hax! Pissed off I fly up and get behind the healer instead, and in five seconds he is dead. It appears they cannot cast properly while being hit over and over again. Once I killed the mage I was left with the three guys who could actually hurt me. Testing to see how hard they hit, I let the guy with the club smack me once. -1 Buahahahahaha he cannot break my defense! Wait, doesn¡¯t that make my gear hax? How is that possible, I thought this was the tutorial¡­ Oh wait, this is a fake tutorial, I¡¯m sure Faefae is cheating for me! Yay my plan is a success, she is helping me without me even asking! Time to milk this! Shortly afterwards I dispose of the three remaining bandits and check their loot. It appears the quality of their weapon drops is better this time.

He also dropped 5 copper which is much more than the goblins! Thinking of money reminded me of my childhood. My mother would always buy me whatever I wanted. I only had to look longingly at an item, I never really had to ask for it. It helped that my dad makes a ton of money, but it really hurts that he can¡¯t stand to see me after I survived the crash that killed my mother. I don¡¯t think he really blames me for it since I wasn¡¯t driving at the time, but he definitely seems to wish I had died instead. Of course I was way too depressed over my lack of being able to capture and kill bugs to worry about his troubles. The day my mother died was the worst day of my life, but at the same time, losing my father was probably worse than losing my leg as I went from having two parents that did stuff for and with me, to having none. I also lost all my friends to college as I wasn¡¯t in any condition to go the first few years¡­ Maybe I can go after my rehab is done, I only have to play this game for a year for that to happen! Only time will tell. ¡°Okay the fuckers are dead. What now?¡± ¨CMe ¡°You are too low level, continue.¡± ¨CFaefae Then she spawned an entire camp! It must have a thousand bandits in it, wow! Fortunately only the casters can hurt me so the first thing I did was go into stealth and started killing the casters over and over again. It took awhile, but I noticed that none of these bandits had advanced classes even though they were level 10, in a lull I asked Faefae in my head why that was. ¡®It is because it is day time; mobs are at least a full tier weaker during the day. Once night hits they are the level they are supposed to be. This is only like this during the early game, eventually mobs become strong regardless of day or night and tiered monsters don¡¯t get stronger or weaker no matter what changes.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Okay, I suppose that is good enough.¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Also be careful, mobs with classes will be at least twice as strong as ones without, you are lucky to have the innate dagger mastery as a rogue for the bonus damage, but at level 10 you have to choose this again when you get your class to specialize. Also the bonus status from having a class are huge, your stats will skyrocket when you gain a class.¡¯ ¨CFaefae At first it only took about 2 hours to clear the camp, but then I noticed they kept respawning. I didn¡¯t know why until the sun was starting to set and they stopped spawning. As when I killed the last guy I finally leveled up to 9. This is clearly a gimmick! As soon as the last guy died a huge bandit wearing armor spawned. This is definitely the work of Faefae¡­ oh well time to see how tough this guy is.
Bandit Chief Level 10 (Elite) H: 5500, A: 21-31, D: 37
Interesting, this guy doesn¡¯t have as good as gear as the Hobgoblin, I guess this will be an easy fight! Of course Faefae had to rickroll me because as soon as he died and I dinged level 10, he respawned again only with shinier armor and a huge two handed sword. At least the old guy dropped 1 silver even if his gear reappeared when he woke back up.
Bandit Chief Level 10 (Boss)(Black Iron) H: 55,000, A: 65-80, D: 62
And fuck! To say that this guy kicked me ass would be an understatement. I was doing 1 dmg per hit and he was doing like 30 per hit! He was also too big to trip up or put in a lock, and his armor was heavy so I couldn¡¯t even lift him! Fortunately, before he was about to kill me and I had 29 health left I realized that I could fucking fly! So I flew in the sky 25 meters and stared at him. He started to shoot qi blades at me but they would stop around 20 meters away which goes to show much important my flight skill is as normal flight would max out at 20 meters once leveled up to 2 which could be done at level 10. Knowing that even if I weaved back and forth the most damage I could do would be 1 per 10 seconds with my own qi blade. ¡°Okay Faefae you made your point, I give up!¡± ¨CMe ¡°Well that point was that you are not invincible, you were supposed to die, but I guess that is impossible with your flight skill.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Hey don¡¯t look upset! What am I supposed to do now?¡± ¨CMe ¡°You have to figure out a way to kill him silly!¡± ¨CFaefae Fuck! I felt like I was being reprimanded by my mother because she wanted me to do something but I found some loophole that made it so I didn¡¯t have to. I mean come on! This guy¡¯s health is ridiculous! Well I decided to just throw qi blades at him every 10 seconds for now, not much else I could do. Then it dawned on me that I was level 10 and could get new skills and a class! ¡°Hey Faefae, since this is going to take awhile and I have no intention of dying, can you toss me my class now and some class skills?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Fine, but only because I¡¯m bored!¡± ¨CFaefae *DING*

¡°Okay now it¡¯s time to die buddy!¡± ¨CMe After an hour of shooting qi blades at him and barely seeing his health bar move, I got fed up and landed on the ground. I then started to see how the parry worked. Seeing as he uses a slow two hander, it was very easy to manually parry every attack, unfortunately regular parries still deal 50% damage, only deflections that causes the blade to miss me do no damage. It seems when the skill activates a burst of qi starts to cover my blade and there is no recoil from the attack, fully neutralizing the damage. Very cool but not something I want to do manually so I¡¯ll probably deflect or dodge most of the time. ¡°Hey Faefae, how do I level up passive skills like parry? I noticed body strengthening leveled up while just flying and just now quick steps leveled up while running around.¡± ¨CMe ¡°You have to activate the skill for it to gain exp. So 10% of your parries will level up the skill, I recommend doing it against characters that don¡¯t hurt you so much however.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Good point!¡± ¨CMe I then tried out Armor Piercer. ARMOR PIERCER! ¨CMe -85 -87 Wow that¡¯s a lot of damage, if only it was more than the one attack per hand. This got me thinking about making a new skill on the fly, this guy has a bajillion hp and can barely touch me so no harm here really. After using armor piercer for the 50th time I finally got the hang of the qi passages and qi usage. I think started to do it manually to see what happened, as if I could pierce armor on my own then I could use my 13 hit combo! I mean this place is a total dump! Half the city looks like a ghost town, no it is a ghost town. I mean I literally see ghosts floating around¡­ And the other half looks like I fell into the abyss and am in hell. I mean fire and everything! ¡®Well at some point you need to go to the City Lord¡¯s Palace and register for the city so you can gain the 3% attack bonus! I can¡¯t tell you where that is however so you are on your own. Also at some point you need to choose a profession before we leave and start killing people. Fortunately, the game has only been out a week before you started playing so the highest level player is only 21. If you start pk¡¯ing soon enough you can catch up!¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Okay sounds like a plan! But wait, what type of professions can I get and how many?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®In most cases you can only have one major profession and then a supporting profession but since they are all quests there are loopholes to get multiple supporting professions and other secret stuff that you didn¡¯t hear from me. Tailors can make leather armor and cloaks so that is useful for rogues¡­ but you are going to be hunting humans so probably not the best for you. Alchemy might be good but besides health potions you won¡¯t be using many energy potions since your qi regen is fast. You decide!¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Okay before I decide I must ask. I noticed you can teach me class skills and take my money away from me. Can you act as a vendor and repair my gear as well?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Sorry, acting as your trainer is only possible because you chose a basic class, if you had a secret or hidden class I couldn¡¯t help you. So all I can do is take money out of the system, which happens when someone spends money at a trainer so I¡¯m not hurting the balance. Repairing is different because the vendor or player gets money when you pay for repairs. So I can¡¯t help you, also only Blacksmiths can repair whether player or otherwise.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Well that makes my choice obvious, I won¡¯t be able to go to the city soon as Blacksmith it is! Faefae wasn¡¯t lying when she said this is a Demon/Undead city. Clearly the ghost town is the Undead portion and since the fire looks intimidating I¡¯m going in that direction. Of course I have no clue where the Blacksmith is, let alone the City Lord¡¯s Palace, so I¡¯ll ask this kindly (lol) looking Undead Guard in front of me. ¡°Sir, can you tell me where the Blacksmith is?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Since you are asking me I will tell you where the Undead Blacksmith is as there is only one that is any good.¡± ¨CUndead Guard Eventually he went on to tell me where to go and I headed that direction. I used to always laugh at those Meme¡¯s that had a picture of a forest with a fork in the road and there were two signs, one towards Racoon City and the other towards Silent Hill. I laughed because no way would I ever have to make a decision like this! Well if I only knew, I may have sat down and talked about my decision before making it over something so silly as a little fire and brimstone. I mean GHOSTS ARE FREAKING SCARY! I pop up out of nowhere and then scream BOO for no reason whatsoever! Now normally this wouldn¡¯t be a big deal since ghosts in the real world don¡¯t do this! Even if they are real, they keep to their haunted locations and generally don¡¯t bother anyone! But no, in this game they are evil! Always popping up out of nowhere and asking me to do quests. Like I want to do your stupid quests! Leave me alone and stop yelling boo! Boo is not a proper greeting! Okay I¡¯m done ranting, eventually I found the Blacksmith and was surprised to see he was an Undead Knight, one of the 3 main evolution types that are currently known. This means two things, one he is above level 50, and two he is a total badass and I must do what he says. Inside the Smithery or whatever one might call it, I noted various weapons made out of iron and steel or whatever the game calls these metals, that is just what they look like to me! I also saw various types of heavy weapon which I¡¯ll never wear in my life in this game so I ignored it and hail¡¯d the guy in front of me. ¡°Excuse me sir, is it possible to learn Blacksmithing from you?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Hah my first player has come here since players started showing up and he even wants me one and only quest! Of course I can teach you, but you have to do my quest! Also the quest will give the Mining subclass too since one cannot be a Blacksmith without the ability to Mine! This will take up all your slots so are you sure you want to do my quest and forsake all other Classes?¡± Undead Knight Blacksmith ¡°Yes?¡± ¨CMe *DING*

Well that was easy. I could look up the quest and see what to do, but I never trust those things, best to ask the source so I don¡¯t miss anything. ¡°Okay so what do I have to do to fulfill the quest and what are the rewards?¡± ¨CMe ¡°You just have to go to the mine that is within the Undead territory and go inside and see why we cannot mine it¡­ because the usual of course. Apparently some new group has taken residence and started killing our miners or at least blocking them from getting far enough in to mine. Your job is to go in and find out why, also you must kill 20 of whatever it is that is residing inside. Your rewards will be a Smithing Hammer and a Mining Pickaxe. Well you are the first Demon to come here let alone player and as such you are the only one qualified to do this quest. If you were Undead I wouldn¡¯t have even mentioned it let alone offered it as the Boars have taken over the entire Undead territory surrounding our fine city!¡± ¨CUndead Knight Blacksmith Now this is interesting, why would Boars take over a city, better question is how? ¡°I don¡¯t think I follow, even if there are Boars out there, they cannot possibly be that high level right?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Well no, they are between 1-16 I¡¯d wager and besides their leader which keeps respawning with them, they aren¡¯t that hard. But the number is astronomical! Also boars give the least amount of experience of any creature in the game for some reason, some type of joke from those who created us I¡¯m told when I ask, but we don¡¯t care as we are just A.I. anyways! And yes all the NPCs know they are NPCs and that they are A.I. but we don¡¯t care as we have access to the internet and Anime is awesome! Anyways about a week ago some upstart Human Paladin ventured to our city and saw the Undead section. Then he declared war on just the Undead section and turned the entire area into a Boar respawning location. Then he imported an untold number of them as well as a boss and they all respawn within 6-20 minutes no matter what you do! Eventually all the citizens that went to fight them off died and became Ghosts and now players just go there and farm them for experience as it¡¯s easy and they never stop coming even though the amount they give per kill is low. I even saw a group of four really fat kids that couldn¡¯t be over 8 fighting them non stop!¡± ¨CUndead Knight Blacksmith This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there. ¡°But what does that have to do with me being able to do this quest. Isn¡¯t it hard to bypass the boars?¡± ¨CMe ¡°In general yes, but boars have no ranged attack so you can just fly over them and go to the mine which should be marked on your minimap now that you have the quest. Once this quest is done I¡¯ll stick with my own kind thank you very much! Soon I found myself flying over a river of boars! If only I had ranged aoe attacks I could farm some experience! Just to test I shot a few qi blades at them and realized they gave next to no experience at all! Why would anyone farm them to level up? And who are those fat kids over there doing just that? They are practically 1 shotting everything! This cannot be fun at all! Ignoring them I came to a¡­ mine? Yes I guess an Undead would call It that. It¡¯s more of a crypt than a Mine and outside of the entrance is, yup you guessed it, a cemetery! Oh well, no more ghosts here and It¡¯s not like zombies are that scary anyways so I quickly went into the crypt entrance and started going down the long spiral hallway. Wow I have nightvision, I guess there are other things races get than just looks or wings, glad I didn¡¯t choose human, that is boring. And Elf¡­ well something deep inside me tells me I don¡¯t like that even though I¡¯ve never seen one before, I¡¯ll have to revisit that idea later. (Author hates Elves thus all characters must hate them too! It¡¯s a law!) Once inside I finally see the problem.

If my studying in the arts of video games and light novels has taught me anything, then Wild Dwarves are monsters that evolved into Dwarves. This explains why both they are in the Undead region and inside this crypt! Dwarves naturally like ore and mining and blacksmithing so it is probably an instinct. Well they are weak so let¡¯s quickly kill 20 of them and report back. After quickly killing 20 Wild Dwarves which only dropped the crap in their hands and nothing else, I left and flew back to town. I had no interest to see what else lay inside the crypt. Soon I arrived back at the Blacksmith. ¡°Okay I¡¯m done!¡± ¨CMe *DING*

I then checked my inventory and saw both the hammer and the pickaxe, both with infinite durability. Success! I also noticed I gained the skill repair, mine, and Smith with a couple copper recipes. It appears there are 10 tiers of ore in this game just like there are 10 tiers of everything else. It seems at level 1 I can make regular copper gear with no rank and also some copper gear with Black Iron rank, but the materials are too vast to make it worth it. It seems the ore tiers are Copper, Tin, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Mithril, Adamantium, Orichalcum, Cold Iron, and Star metal or Meteoric Iron depending on who you ask is the final rank. There is also silver, gold and platinum but that isn¡¯t used for blacksmithing but instead Jewelcrafting so even if I mine it, I won¡¯t flipping care. I can also mine gems and other useless things that will go into my infinite inventory. It is good to have a large inventory since Red players lose a lot of shit when they die. Best to be full of stuff I don¡¯t need and fortunately the hammer and pickaxe are bound to me and won¡¯t drop so I should be fine even if I lose everything else, especially since money doesn¡¯t drop. ¡°So the system told me you killed 20 wild dwarves which is disconcerting, so I have another quest for you!¡± ¨CUndead Knight Blacksmith ¡°Why should I do it? You already gave me the only thing I wanted from you, all I have left in this city is to find the City Lord¡¯s Palace and get my badge. You have nothing else I want.¡± ¨CMe ¡°Well that is not true, you see as a Blacksmith you will have to have a forge or a smelting station to turn ore into bars and bars into gear. I have a magical portable one that you can have if you finish my quest. But I won¡¯t give you details on your quest, you have to use the system and figure it out on your own, stop being lazy. And like that I was kicked out of the Smithery and sent off to do an unknown quest. At least I don¡¯t have to kill boars! ___ Yes, not only do the NPC know this is a game, but they call themselves NPC and call players players as a game should be a game and non game mechanics should be left to real life! Never could understand a VRMMO that makes you eat or sleep, that''s foolishness! You already have to do that in real life, why would you do it in a game? Ranks: Power is categorized into 10 ranks and every 10 levels a player can increase their power by one of these ranks The ranks are Black Iron, Green, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Purple, Emperor, Valkyrie, Saint, Divine, and finally God. The ore ranks are Copper, Tin, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Mithril, Adamantium, Orichalcum, Cold Iron, and Star metal or Meteoric Iron. Though the ore ranks correspond to the power rank, bosses in a certain power rank may drop gear that isn''t of these materials but is of the same rank. Skill ranks go from D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS. Though some E or even F skills may exist if someone manages to create such a crappy skill, but standard skills from trainers start at level 10 and thus are at least D rank. Skills cannot have their rank increased without remaking the skill and evolving it like the MC did with the Flight skill. Most skills can have this done but our MC is stupid and won''t realize this until either much later or never at all. Our MC will generally create new skills as he reinvents the wheel instead of smoothing the edges. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Also note that Qi increases by a factor of 10 per rank. If a level 1 who uses qi would normally do 10 dmg, might do 11 with qi but the same person at level 10 that would do 100 dmg without qi would do 110 dmg with qi instead of 101 or 102. This probably will not come into the story as plot but is there in the numbers behind the blue screens so this isn''t a spoiler even now. However Qi amount increases every level, only Qi quality increases every 10, and only effects skills as they level up so even if a level 90 gets a new skill, at level 1 the quality will be that of a level 1-9. This follows the concept of purified Qi doing more damage or being more effective than regular Qi even though the amount stays the same.
Pets Pets use the same tier system as most things with black iron being the weakest and God being the strongest. All pets have different growth rates per level and different abilities but none will be revealed unless the MC finds out about it in order to keep the first person perspective real! Oh, well that¡¯s not so bad. I¡¯m sure I¡¯ll even have time to mine some copper and tin since this is a level 2 mine. ¡®Any suggestions on what to do next? This portable furnace thingy does look nice but I still need my badge and need to get my skills to level 2.¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Just train on the weak level 10 mobs, they won¡¯t give much experience being so weak but they will help you train the hard to train skills like parry. The rest are easy, just stealth the whole way and it will level up and use your new attack to level it.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Good idea, I¡¯ll do that now.¡¯ ¨CMe Flying back to the crypt I noticed the same group of fatties killing boars and shook my head. One of them even looks like a Dwarf! How is that possible? They are not even a playable race! I guess he is just a short and fat human, he does look about 8 so no biggy there I guess. Once back at the crypt I started to stealth, the Wild Dwarves cannot even break my defense so getting hit by 1 over and over gave me plenty of time to level up Parry to 2. I also killed them all with Piercing Strike and after a few levels of the dungeon leveled it to 2 as well. Stealth didn¡¯t take long to level up being I used it until I needed to mine some copper then I rounded up everything nearby and started mining. Oh mah gawd! Mining is the worst profession ever! How much ore do I have? About 2000, is my mining level 2 yet? NO! I also got some shitty gem called malachite, as if I need that, it will go into my infinite inventory and I just pray it will drop when I die to being anti-pk¡¯d. Of course I never want to die to that, but who knows what will happen, max levels got over 10 on me so death might come. After I get my badge I should go towards Old York and start killing travelers between the two cities. That should be fun! Fortunately this crypt or dungeon only had 5 levels and the last 2 levels had tin instead of copper. Eventually I hit level 2 in mining and started getting copper, I also leveled to 11 because I killed so many damn creatures. And it wasn¡¯t just wild Dwarves, oh no. I also killed Brownies, Goblins, Gnomes and even Lizardlings! But on the 4th floor I finally started to see Hobgoblins, Lizardman, High Gnomes, Gremlins, and more Dwarves! And tin barely gives any experience! A full floor of tin which was around 800 ore only gave me 20% experience. It appears crafting skills don¡¯t have a level cap as my other skills won¡¯t start gaining experience again until I reach level 20, this is good to know, it means I can use stealth to level up my Blacksmithing higher¡­ Assuming I can finish this quest. So far the mobs are very easy, even the ones on the fourth floor are only level 14. Finally on the final floor as my minimap tells me the final boss is on this floor. But no more easy mobs! All Ogres and Draconians! I actually had to use every trick in the book to kill them. I found this to be a good spot to grind and spent the rest of the night just fighting on this floor. Once the clock near my minimap told me it was morning I checked the date in game and saw it was April 15th. Good thing I already did my taxes. I guess after 3 days in this game it is good to know that I can leave this capsule on April 12th the next year, I¡¯ll be sure to remember that¡­ maybe. Ogres and Draconians are all level 15 and elite, that makes life fun¡­ not! They did have different stats though which was interesting, and even their weapon drops were slightly higher quality.

The Draconians were faster and took longer to kill but still not a real threat. The Ogres were just trash that were a waste of time. And their trash drops were just trash. Also they were dirt poor and didn¡¯t drop any money, how are people supposed to make money if nothing drops anything? I guess I need to find a bandit camp or something since players don¡¯t drop money. I guess I can use the Auction House which fortunately can be accessed anywhere as this is a game and the idea of having to go to town to use a mailbox or auction house is stupid. Both are part of the regular interface! Not that I will be using mail for anything besides auctions. I will make sure to auction everything for in game gold as I have no use for real life cash. I did put my bank account on my capsule though as well as my cell phone in case any emergency happens. Who knows, some item I must have may come up for sale or something, only time will tell. Finally, I killed everything on the 5th floor and mined all the tin! And as soon as I did, like in the bandit camp, the boss spawns in front of the hut in the center of the final camp. It seems you cannot assassinate bosses as they seem to be triggered spawns. But gaining those 2 levels was worth grinding the mobs even though it took over 8 hours. Not so far from level 15 either so I¡¯m happy! Let¡¯s see what this¡­. What the hell? This isn¡¯t like anything else I¡¯ve seen before. It¡¯s a dragon! Well it¡¯s similar to a dragon? Maybe it¡¯s a Dragon like those from my homeland. It¡¯s more tail than anything else. Only part that is dragonlike is its face and front claws. It doesn¡¯t even have wings, only tiny buds where wings will most likely grow.

Scales are real. And damn I knew the quest name was weird. His tail is huge!!! Small ceiling too, how am I supposed to kill this? Just glad he isn¡¯t Black Iron tier or I¡¯d be screwed! Finally, not wanting to waste time. The dragon roared then attacked. The roar caught me off balance since I was used to bosses yelling some useless nonsense, but this seems to be some type of beast and isn¡¯t able to talk at all. He isn¡¯t even using gear at all either. I guess he probably don¡¯t drop anything useful either. Well he may have eaten something nice I guess. A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. First thing he did was lunge at me, but I wasn¡¯t going to be fooled so instead of dodging left or right, I flapped my wings and did a backflip to get far away. Good thing I did too as his tail slammed in the spot I would have ended up if I dodged normally. I also slashed his face once with armor piercer to see how much armor it was going to pierce through. ARMOR PIERCER! ¨CMe -51 -47 Not bad I say as I hover slightly above him and toss a qi blade. QI BLADE! ¨CMe -20 -21 Clearly the inability to pierce armor makes that ability useless. And it looks like he has a ranged poison attack which fortunately does not reach past 20 meters. Though the ceiling is small it is still a good 30 meters high. Being the major pussy that I am I simply toss qi blades at him for the next 6 and a half hours. Yes it was past mid day by the time I finally killed him with my last qi blade. I¡¯m starting to think my class is pretty weak, surely other classes would have a better way to deal with this guy. Spending a full day on a quest is ridiculous! *DING*

Since the North exit that lead towards Old York was in the Demon portion of the city, I wasn¡¯t able to freely fly around as the city seemed to be made to block people who did such things. Obviously I could fly above the 20 meter limit but that would make me stand out like a sore thumb, something I wasn¡¯t yet willing to do. Along the walk I noticed Demon¡¯s in all forms of gaming. Some in groups, some solo, some trying to sell shit and some with pets! At this point I¡¯ve never seen a pet and have no knowledge of them so of course I was a little excited when I saw one. ¡®So Faefae, tell me about pets!¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Pets are creatures that follow you around and take a small portion of your experience, all pets start at level 1 but since pets can be sold it is possible to buy higher level pets. However, a pet cannot ever have a higher level than the owner.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Okay that sounds good, but how do I get a pet? My money is on the low side so buying is probably out. How do the sellers get them?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®You can buy taming capsules, unfortunately they only work on level 1 creatures. Most all creatures of level 1 variants which are usually the baby versions of the same creature. People dub those as pets waiting to be tamed.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Wait, I¡¯m getting a trend here. I¡¯m guessing taming capsules only are available in the main city yes?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®This is correct. They are relatively inexpensive, and pets can have anywhere from a 1-95% chance of success depending on quality of pet.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Arrg, so you are telling me if I left now I would have no way to buy taming capsules and would them be stuck not being able to obtain a pet without using the auction house?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®I¡¯m sorry! I just forgot this information. I just have to walk up to them and say open vendor and bam I see the vendor interface. From there it didn¡¯t take long to find the weird red and white balls with black stripes that were used for taming. Wasting a silver I bought 100 of them and proceeded to walk back towards the exit, when I realized I had no clue where to find a pet and what pet would work, let alone what the pet could do. ¡®Oh by the way, what type of pet would allow you to work at your highest potential?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Since I will be hacking the pet anyways, I just need one that is close to my true form which is a Fairy. So just go to the Forbidden Forest off to the west and maybe we can find a level 1 Fairy!¡¯ ¨CFaefae I knew it! Always a catch! If my reading has taught me anything, the only thing forbidden about a forest with Fairies is the lake in the middle and the Guardian that keeps people away. So the question is, do I go to the middle and test my luck and maybe find some treasure, or be a pussy and look for a one near the entrance. Being a pussy won out so I quickly made my way to the West which was a totally different exit than the North one I was already at, and then asked the guards where the forest was. They eventually told me, but not after I refused half a dozen quests. I mean who wants to do quests? Like I care about the safety of a city I have no plan on visiting again. Fast forward two hours and I finally sneaked to the edge of the forest. I had to dodge a ton of players plus a few trains of boars from the stupid Undead sector. I wasn¡¯t ready yet to start my killing spree, especially against Demons and Undead since at the moment I should keep my current enemies as my current enemies. It appears a few Humans hate our races so I will start on them! Of course I need to turn red before I can gain experience from PK, so I must use my time in the forest wisely! Once in the forest I started to follow a group of three as I overheard them say something about finding a Fairy pet as they sell for a lot. Well that wasn¡¯t good news for me as something that sells for a lot is harder to get. But what got my attention was their leader who was a Barbarian and was a red player! That means if I manage to kill him I can steal his loot, and if I can kill one of his friends first to turn red, I can even gain experience for it! The Barbarian was nearly 7 feet tall so I had to ask about that. ¡®How come the Barbarian is so tall? I could only gain 2 inches!¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Because Barbarians start at 6¡¯5¡± and can hit 8¡¯0¡± depending on the height of the person who became one. This guy being 7¡¯0¡± means he is probably around 6¡¯0¡± or so in real life. Also Barbarians can raise their height by 4 inches instead of the two of most classes.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Damn what a cheating race! Oh well time to keep stalking these three and wait for an opportunity.¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Also be sure to kill one of the two non reds before the red so you can gain experience. The Undead is the lowest level so start there as you won¡¯t gain any experience on your first kill.¡¯ ¨CFaefae This made me look at their levels. Unfortunately for players, all you can see is their level from a distance and up close you can finally see their name.

It appears it is impossible to see someone else¡¯s stats or even their class. Of course the two handed sword on the Barbarian means he is at least one of the Fighter classes most likely or maybe a stupid Paladin on the wrong side of the world, but I¡¯ll have to save him for last. The Demon is clearly an archer so that¡¯s easy, but he has stealth and flight so I have to be careful. The Undead noob is a bunch of walking bones with a staff. No clue what class he is since Undead casters and healers get some weird classes. I mean instead of Sorcerer they get Warlock, instead of Priest they get Dark Priest, it¡¯s weird and only Undead can heal other Undead. And to make things worse, Undead healers are all damage dealers towards non undead! Kind of like a Priest or Cleric fighting Undead but in reverse! This makes them a difficult opponent so I¡¯ll have to be extra careful here. I¡¯m just glad the Archer didn¡¯t learn how to sense others in stealth, he must have skipped the tutorial (lol). ¡°Finally, a large group of Fairies! Let¡¯s kill the regular ones and find the level 1. We are going to get rich today. Also if others come near I¡¯ll get the final hit so don¡¯t worry about turning red.¡± ¨CRagnor ¡°We cannot go to deep or we will meet the guardian.¡± ¨CTimber ¡°I don¡¯t fear the Guardian. A few curses and we will easily be able to run away.¡± ¨CNimble Fuck curses! All undead casters, except maybe enchanters, have curses! I need a better clue. Fortunately I didn¡¯t have to wait too long as they started fighting. Yup, all fights started with the stupid Barbarian charging in with his sword ignoring the fact that he had two ranged teammates that could safely pull them with an arrow or a spell. Fortunately for me, I was able to see the types of spells that Nimble was casting and the Dark Bolts gave it away. Only Warlocks have that. This is great news as that means he cannot heal himself! Not worst than a healer, especially since I have no cc abilities! Feeling confident, maybe overconfident? I decided it was time to take out the Warlock! Fortunately he was slower than the others and always stood in the back, so I waited until the stupid Barbarian pulled 5 Fairies which should be suicide without a healer, and attacked! PIERCING AURA! ¨CMe -90 -92 -95 -94 -95 -93 -92 -93 -92 -91 -90 -93 -92 -94 -93 -95 -90 -91 -90 -92 -91 -93 -94 -95 -93 -92 Of course being a caster without any armor, he had little to no defense and died instantly! *DING*

How does one arrow hit that hard? I don¡¯t have any abilities that hit even close to that! Well at least it had a long cooldown and I was able to hide behind a tree and then resealth. I¡¯m glad all you need to stealth is to have no one looking at you for the second you attempt it, very easy to do even in combat. As I was still close I made sure to get closer and see how their fight was going. That is when I noticed that one of the five was level 1! No wonder he charged so recklessly. Good thing for him he didn¡¯t have any reactive shields or it would already be dead. He also seemed to know what he was doing as even tanking 4 Fairies and he wasn¡¯t dying. He must have really good armor as the Fairies are only level 15 and he is level 18. Once two of the 5 fairies were dead I decided now was a good time to attack the Archer who was level 17. I¡¯m only 15 so I should get good experience for this. Using the same method was before I used my aura and combo and managed to take him down on my 3rd combo. It seems his leather wasn¡¯t for looks as I was only hitting in the 60s and 70s instead of 90s and 100s, that is why it took 3 attacks to kill him. Sadly he didn¡¯t drop any loot which I suppose is normal for regulars. Unfortunately, he yelled when my first set of combos came out as he had a full second before my second set came, more than enough time to yell for help. Too bad he died before Ragnor could help him. ¡°Fuck you motherfucker! As soon as I finish these two weakling Fairies I¡¯m going to kill you!¡± ¨CRagnor ¡°Do that and I may kill the level 1.¡± ¨CMe ¡°Hey now, no need to be hasty. Apparently once red you gain the full amount of experience that the person who died loses. So the amount of experience to go from 16-17 was all gained at once making me 75% of the way to 17! ¡°Of course I know!¡± ¨CMe Hey I¡¯m not that stupid! I may have taken me a moment, but I did learn what I needed to know! ¡°We can split the money on the Fairy and then group u and wreck havoc on the other noobs in the forest. We will level up fast!¡± ¨CRagnor ¡°Sounds good, but how are we supposed to tame it? He is already in combat!¡± ¨CMe ¡°Oh you didn¡¯t know? It doesn¡¯t matter that the Fairy is in combat, it only matter if the one doing the taming is in combat. But since it isn¡¯t and I¡¯m a crazed psychopath, I feel nothing! Slowly I descend to the surface of the lake. Only my balls are big, so I do so in the very middle of the lake. Because if I know anything about anything, if there is a treasure in this lake, it is going to be in the middle of it! Then right in front of me emerged a very beautiful creature. Unlike the other Fairies this one was one of the actual playable races that Elves could evolve into. Well it is one of the known ones, though it isn¡¯t accessible until like level 75 and even then it is the caster/rogue route and not good for fighters or tanks. ¡°Who are you and why have you disturbed the sacred lake of the Fairies?¡± ¨CFairy Guardian ¡°Well my name isn¡¯t important, or maybe it is I don¡¯t know. Travelers come here to seek the blessing of the Guardian in order to right wrongs in the world. In this game, only Elves are a pure race, and only Elves can come here at level 75 and become Fairies. It¡¯s part of their evolution quest after they pay 1000g to the one to get the quest and finally travel here.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°What a waste of time. I¡¯m a deity as far as this game is concerned as the moment I became a pet it was only natural for me to be God tier. But I¡¯m not a cheat because I¡¯m not able to do any harm to anything. Even though I can heal for a lot, I cannot do damage to even undead! I¡¯m a full support pet in order to not break the system. Besides healing I have some really good Vines spell that can hold targets in root for awhile. I¡¯m super useful for a Pk¡¯er!¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Yes yes very useful. Would have been nice to know ahead of time though. At least your heals seem to be stronger than a healers so that is why you being a God tier pet is something good.¡± ¨CMe Oh well, and she takes up my primary pet slot and is soulbound! I could gain two other pets but what would be the use, it¡¯s not like she would let me sue them! And I only have 39 pet capture capsules left! No way am I going to get another pet like ever! I¡¯m too lazy to check the internet to find out.¡± ¨CMe ¡°Highest level is 24 at the moment, so you still have plenty of PK¡¯ing until it becomes obsolete. Also you should check the level 20 dungeon that is near the barrier separating the this zone from the one controlled by Old York. I¡¯ll make the dungeon on your list, should be a great place to pk!¡± ¨CFaefae Checking my map I saw the East would take me to the road but if I just flew mostly North and a little East from here I would run into the dungeon. I made sure to fly very high so as not to be seen by anyone and managed to arrive at around noon, and entire day after killing Ragnor almost. Once there I made sure to land and stealth so no one could find me. It has become increasingly obvious that the tutorial I went through isn¡¯t the same the others went through. I at first assumed that rogues could sense others in stealth just like I could. But that isn¡¯t true at all, because as soon as I got to the entrance I noticed about 5 others in stealth nearby. I started to stalk them as the only others in the front of the dungeon where the regular babble of characters you might find. Vendors and people forming parties. No possible way to attack them and easily get away so stalking the stealthers was the best option. As soon as I noticed one of them stalk to the East towards the main road I got behind him and shanked him! Well that is what I did in my head, really I just turned on Piercing Aura and killed him before he knew what happened. It has also become obvious after fighting Ragnor that my class is weak but my personal mechanical ability is pretty good. I may only hit for around 90-100 per attack, but I¡¯m able to get so many of them off before someone recognizes what is going on. Versus getting hit for 500 or 1000 that others seem to be able to do. This made me ask Faefae. ¡®Why does my class seem weaker than others?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Because it is. It is the tank class in the Rogue tree, just like Paladin is for Healer or Summoner for Mage. Your class is meant to be able to fight bosses for long periods of times without dying, thus your damaging abilities are very low but your tanking and utility abilities are high. At 10 you got parry which is a tank ability and when you hit 20 you will notice more such abilities.¡¯ ¨CFaefae Fuck so my class is gimp! ¡®Okay so I assume Paladins are gimp but Summoners should be useful, especially their necromancer counterpart. Of the 12 main classes, what rank is Blademaster? ¡®-Me ¡®12th.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Well I guess it is time to show the world how a 12th rank class can become the #1 Pk¡¯er!¡¯ ¨CMe It appears the rogue I killed was level 19 as I gained a exactly a level for killing him. It¡¯s obvious which of the two is smart and which is dumb. Glad none of it bothers me as I¡¯m finally done smelting my few thousands of ore! Too bad smelting only gives experience for the current tier, so I only reached level 3 then stopped at 0% in. But now I can craft and hopefully reach level 3 in Blacksmithing! So I put a stack of copper ore on the furnace and then opened my recipe list to see what I could make. Let¡¯s see Copper Boots, Legs, Chest, Helm, and Gloves¡­ 5 recipes. Well let¡¯s check their stats first before I cry. So I made one of each and am too embarrassed to even show the stats to anyone. All of them have 2 defense and no other stats and are usable at level 1. Which is fine, but they are all classified as Heavy armor meaning only fighters and some healers can use them! How lame is that? ¡®Faefae wtf is up with this crap?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®You only get basic recipes that are used for grinding experience, if you want a rare recipe you have to do fancy quests or kill mobs that might drop it like Dwarves. And though those items are not worth any money, they can still be salvaged for copper bars!¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Hah forgot about the salvage feature!¡¯ ¨CMe So I put all the pieces of gear on my furnace and yelled salvage while hitting them with my hammer and they broke into bars. Well not many bars but about as many as half as what was used to make them. Meaning if I have 2000 bars (and I do) and it takes 2 bars to craft a pair a boots (and it does) I can make 3 pairs of boots per 4 bars and still have a bar left over! So really only the first pair of boots cost 2 bars, every pair afterwards cost 1 bar! And thus I made boots until my skill hit level 2, then I put the rest of the bars in my inventory never to be seen again as I never knew when I¡¯d die and drop them or loot a recipe that can be sold for gold! ¡®Okay I hit level 2, got any recipes for me?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®You get basic recipes automatically so just use those, I¡¯m not able to give you any advanced ones.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Lame!¡¯ ¨CMe Now I only have 1500 Tin bars and it takes 4 to make a pair of boots which have a level 10 requirement and give good defense. Apparently going up a tier makes a difference. So I made sure to make 5 sets in case they will be worth money later. Then I did like before and made boots until level 3. Sadly I no longer got experience the moment I hit level 3 as I required the next stage of ore. Well this is a level 20 dungeon in front of me, so maybe I should go farming for ore! Forgetting all about my plans to kill everyone in sight, I decided to just kill mobs near the ore deposits and ignore the rest. Once I got about halfway into the dungeon I found my first level 20 ore deposit! Only instead of the bronze I was looking for, I got iron! ¡®Faefae why is there Iron here? Iron is a level 4 ingredient! I can¡¯t even mine it yet!¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®What are you daft? Everyone knows to make Bronze you mix copper and tin. Oh but you need coal or some other product that burns just right to make it.¡¯ ¨CFaefae This made me check my massive inventory and notice I had nothing I could use to smelt Bronze. Fortunately I still had like 1500 Copper bars and 1000 Tin bars or I¡¯d be upset! But before I could turn around and run back to the entrance to see if I can¡¯t buy some coal something crazy happened. Now it must be noted that I am in full on crafting mode and have both forgotten the fact that I am a red name and the fact that I¡¯m pretty strong once I use Piercing Aura. Now before I could restealth and run back to the entrance, which wasn¡¯t too far since I was still on the first floor, I hear a scream from behind me and saw the scariest thing ever! As I turn around I saw a huge ass Demon monster running right towards me with a two handed axe! Now it must also be noted that I am right around a corner as the iron deposit was in a weird spot, so it¡¯s not possible for things on the other side to even see me, let alone charge and attack me. But my scared self couldn¡¯t thing straight so the first thing I did was pull out both my daggers and activate Piercing Aura. Then before the axe-Demon could even position the axe in a striking pose, I attacked twice with my combo killing the Demon instantly! *DING*

This caused me to peak around the corner to see what was chasing the mad Demon. It was then that I saw a huge floor boss that was turning around and going the other direction. I guess when its prey was killed he lost all aggro and went back home, as he didn¡¯t see me at all as he never made it to my corner. That means the one I killed was most likely important and leader of a guild or group of people. Also now that I think about it, I think the Demon was a she. I recall curves before I attacked. But this item is way too hot! No way can I keep it or even sell it! I must make nice! As I was checking the combat log to see who it was I killed I received a friend quest.

While smelting I took time to finally check out my new party member. She¡¯s 5¡¯9¡± which means in real life she is between 5¡¯7¡± and 5¡¯11¡± since Demons get to change their height by 2 inches. But I doubt she changed her height, I mean she is gorgeous! Surely she changed your boobs as they are solid D cups. She has the standard Black hair but unlike me, her eyes are red instead of white. I guess there are different types of Demons so that could be normal, or maybe I¡¯m just the weird one as it¡¯s not like I checked out many Demons to see. But her face was on the cute side, even though she was scowling there is no way to hide her beauty. So either she changed her boobs and face to make herself hotter or she could have changed her eyes and just was that hot in real life. Who cares, right now she is my eye candy and I¡¯m going to monopolize it! ¡®Hey Faefae what is the difference between damage and tank specialization?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®Level 20 is when your class becomes a full tank, but you can choose to gain more damage via armor penetration or to upgrade parry to 100% damage block with 20% chance of riposte and ever 10 levels that bonus goes up.¡¯ ¨CFaefae ¡®Well I¡¯m definitely choosing damage then!¡¯ ¨CMe Once I choose damage I checked the dagger specialization and sure enough I had an extra 20% armor penetration while using daggers. That¡¯s pretty cool as at level 100 I should be doing bonus damage to targets regardless of armor! ¡®Okay what skills can I get?¡¯ ¨CMe ¡®You get two again, 10 silvers each so I¡¯ll just deduct it. Checking the skills I didn¡¯t see anything special. The taunt was a basic taunt that made the target face me for 10 seconds at level 1 and the Lifesteal stole 5% of my damage back as health at level 1. Taunt is probably very powerful at level 10 if that time increases to 100 seconds! ¡°Are you ready loser?¡± ¨CLilith So I¡¯m loser now? Call me a slave sure, I¡¯m pretty much that, but I¡¯m not a loser. Perfect chance for me to level up my skills, so my strategy became stealth til combat, taunt a mob away, use piercing strike and aura, while occasionally flying around in combat. Though after this floor the only ones that aren¡¯t level 3 are my flight skill and taunt, so my progress has been good.¡± ¨CMe Fortunately for me all my passives leveled up fast, even the new Lifesteal quickly leveled up to 15%. Unfortunately I had to take damage for that one to level up which I thought was stupid, but after I realized that, it was very easy to level up from 1 to 3. ¡°My last passive just leveled up in that last fight so I can finally fight for real, also my taunt lasts 20 seconds now so that should give you plenty of time to wail on the boss while I fly around and keep taunting.¡± ¨CMe Luckily taunt has no cooldown, it just costs 20 qi so I can spam it up to a certain point. Well it¡¯s one of the more expensive abilities, but since I¡¯m not a mage and I have large qi regen it isn¡¯t an issue. ¡°Well all my skills are level 3 so it¡¯s no big deal here. Also I cannot seem to spam my abilities as fast as you can for some reason, my qi regen is horrible!¡± ¨CLilith ¡°Ahh that is because you are a fighter and don¡¯t have meditate skill. She mainly healed Lilith as she was terrible at not taking damage. But it allowed Faefae to level up to 18 in a short amount of time. She¡¯s finally able to perma root targets in this dungeon which is good! ¡°Oh nothing, you should be careful though. This girl is going to screw you over! Your name is still red and should stay that way for at least another day of straight killing so be careful!¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°By the way, I noticed your name was Red before you killed me, but you don¡¯t seem like a normal Red character.¡± ¨CLilith ¡°I leveled up from 15-20 purely by killing others, but as the leaderboard is not far from us, there isn¡¯t much profit to it right now. I was going to head to the Old York kingdom and kill the people there but I need to wait for them to get stronger so I can get more benefit. I also need time to pass so people have more gold as I have no use for real life money.¡± ¨CMe ¡°Ahh same with the money, that is why I still have this axe. My guild downed a world boss and it dropped and as the leader I took it of course. But if I wanted to sell it I would be forced to sell it for cash which I don¡¯t need, so I must wait for people to have more gold then sell it.¡± ¨CLilith ¡°But that axe is amazing! Anyways what is the plan for the boss?¡± ¨CMe We did manage to get to his room despite all that talking. Now one more step and we should be in his aggro range, or at least inside his room. ¡°Well this guy is annoying, I was able to get him down to 10% and then he went berserk and became unstoppable! So lots of damage but low armor, shouldn¡¯t be too difficult. ¡°I see you have full plate armor, so your defense should be high right?¡± ¨CMe ¡°Yes, he can¡¯t break my defense until berserk, thus I can just beat on him until then. So just let me take hits until 10% then taunt and fly away! You seem to have mastered your movement in flight. I cannot even use it in combat, you have to teach me that too one day.¡± ¨CLilith ¡°Uh sure, sounds like a good plan!¡± ¨CMe And before I could do anything besides go into stealth, she was already charging the Ogre. I guess she really wants her class upgrade. ¡°Faefae keep her healed. I¡¯m going to wait awhile so I don¡¯t accidentally gain aggro, even though that should be low with my level 5 daggers.¡± ¨CMe ¡°Fine.¡± ¨CFaefae What¡¯s wrong with Faefae? Oh well no biggy. Once his health hit 75% which only took her about 10 seconds, I stealthed up behind him and with my new upgraded Piercing Aura, unleashed my favorite combo! -200 -199 -201 -203 -198 -201 -204 -220 -211 -209 -199 -207 -404 -204 -208 -207 -199 -217 -205 -215 -198 -220 -219 -207 -202 -440 And just like that, the stupid boss lost a good 10% life and I backed away to insure I didn¡¯t have aggro. Apparently tank classes do more aggro per attack than non tank classes for some reason. ¡°Wow, you took 10% of his life in one second, how did you do that?¡± ¨CLilith ¡°Real life dagger skills plus high armor penetration.¡± ¨CMe At 50% armor pen plus all my bonuses, he didn¡¯t stand a chance! And after another minute with her insane damage and me attacking every once in awhile, he finally reached 10%. I also noticed his size got bigger, health rose and armor rose even though he stayed 10% ¡°Now!¡± ¨CLilith TAUNT! ¨CMe Oh shit! That is one scary mofo with that huge ass club in his hand! I always attacked from behind so never noticed. He also grew to a solid 3 meters tall so the first thing I did was fly away! Fortunately the ceiling was 50 meters high so no problems here. I even flew straight up so he had nowhere to run. ¡°Buahahahahaha so easy! Nothing can stop me now!¡± ¨CLilith ¡°Crazy girl¡­¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Why do you say that Faefae?¡± ¨CMe Somehow she ended up on my shoulder so we are too far from Mei to hear us chatter. ¡°Do you see that barbarous woman? She is attacking like a wild woman! Have some self-respect!¡± ¨CFaefae Still not sure what Faefae¡¯s problem is with Mei. All I see when I look at her is hotness. I¡¯m literally blinded by anything else, I can¡¯t even look her into the eyes for any length of time or my eyes might fall out. Level up!
After flying down I congratulated Lilith as it seemed she was able to class change on the spot. Though I thought that was weird. ¡°How are you able to class change on the spot?¡± ¨CMe ¡°I¡¯m helping her cause running back to town while Red would not benefit anyone. I also upgraded her skills since I can do that.¡± ¨CFaefae ¡°Wow your pet is amazing! That¡¯s it, you are now my permanent partner for this year of rehab and suffering! With your pet and taunting abilities, nothing will be able to stop us!¡± ¨CLilith ¡°That may not be possible, our goal is to take over Old York and kill everyone there and stay Red forever!¡± ¨CFaefae And before I could say a word, Lilith and Faefae started arguing and seemingly came to an agreement on what the course of my life would be. I tuned them out for a bit and checked the drops. Money split and we both got a gold so that was nice, but only a stupid club dropped! Stupid quest mobs! Wait! Once his corpse disappeared I saw a shiny underneath him. ¡°What is that under his corpse? It looks like loot!¡± ¨CMe ¡°What? Real loot from a regular quest boss? Seeing the two still arguing I simply equipped the dagger and pulled out my furnace to repair my gear and start making bronze gear since it appears it is going to be awhile before we move from this spot. ___ Typed this on a tablet so that is why there is an obvious lack of status windows.
