《Shadow- the solo sword master》


 Prologue the start of shadow

    In the vacuum of space surrounded by nothingness itself, anything trying to go near would be erased completely from the fabrics of time and space leaving nothing behind even their existence is erased from all. Suddenly 5 figures appeared within the space, each radiating their own aura of power enough power on par with 50% of a universe total energy, these are the universes administrators. They have come at that moment in their busy lifestyles to cope with a pressing issue, to find a new administrator for the newly created universe that recently occurred. A debate quickly happened, about who shall be the new administrator, so they finally decided it shall go to whoever is the most worthy overall. Upon completing the debate each administrator agreed to contribute to the project, having equal portions of power on the project and contributed the same amount of power, each administrator sent a message to all living lifeforms with intelligence in their field of power. The message simply stated Would you like to become a god? yes or no. at least 10% must accept otherwise chosen at random. all your achievements you have accumulated so far shall be converted into points to help your survival.


    The bone-chilling winds whistles, engulfing all in darkness that encounters it. On top of a hill that seemed to stretch onwards for thousands of meters is a fading youth that flickers in and out of vision covered in an ominous color that continues to drip red. As the youth dropped what he was holding onto the hill, a loud thump was heard, and 100 objects fell crashing on the hill. The objects was in fact dead decaying corpses already drained of blood as the hill was covered in blood, having a smile on his face the youth jumps up and off the hill while holding his broken sword and surveys his handiwork. What was the hill was actually a hill of dead bodies piled upon one another causing a massive stench of death, it is the young mans history of death his achievements in killing, it is his life. Just as he was surveying the mountain of corpses he throws his broken sword in the pile next to it a smaller pile which consisted of broken swords, the youth sighs wishing for a sword that can withstand his might as the sword lands in the pile. The youth started to whistle and quickly within minutes shadows started to appear, and suddenly 1000 shadows appeared around the area. The shadows all whistled and bent down on the grassy plains filled with blood, each holding their right hand over their heart a symbol of respect towards their heir. The youth was about to say something until a message appeared in front of his face. Laughing the youth screamed with power in his voice he told his subjects to click yes and suddenly all 1001 shadows disappeared.

    In the vacuum of space where time and space itself is twisting, where existences who dare goes near will be obliterated into nothingness, there were 5 figures, these are the universe administrators each having chosen their races to go into the new universe, were sending a final message towards their subjects.


    In the midst of a giant white area, that seemed to stretch on and onward for all of eternity  stood billions if not trillions of lifeforms, All coming from different species, across the universes being forced by an invisible force to wait silently for the administrators. Suddenly a message went out to all lifeforms including shadow who was flickering near the back. Although there was a force on the lifeforms, some were trying to break free, their pride unwilling to accept this but the harder they try, the stronger the force became and eventually the lifeforms that pushed themselves too far got crushed into paste. While this was going on shadow was also trying to resist the force, but soon realised it was futile and gave up when he saw powerful life forms within the distance being crushed. Suddenly in front of Shadow (also all the other lifeforms) was a message.

    Many lifeforms having seen the message or being directly put into their brain (for lifeforms that cant see light), started to become excited and uncontrollable but yet again the force came and stopped them in their tracks. While the lifeforms that didn''t choose to come here was in despair as they knew they cant survive in this new harsh universe, as they are weak and the main reason why they clicked no, some of them started to hyperventilate others screaming, some even attempted suicide but this hysteria was all stopped by the force.


    however only a small minority of the lifeforms was analyzing the message and started to plan their next actions, these people were the strong ones the elites. They just calmly waited for the next message to see their status window. Among them was shadow calmly waiting suppressing his emotions in order to increase his chances of survival by allowing him to clear his mind from the desire of battle, the desire for death and the desire for power. Until finally after every life form has read the message it appeared the status window for each individuals.


    Shadows pov


    "I have to calm down, i have to calm down i cant get excited i have to calm DOWNNNNNN"," breathe in and out, yes that''s right shadow you are the heir to the clan you must act like one, suppress your emotions in order to clear your mind, that''s right". as i was calming myself down i closed my eyes and started to breath in and out deeply and then i reawaken, i started to analyse my future plans, my desire for death, my desire for battle and for power, i started to think what was the best way to achieve these''s desire. After rereading the message i started to wait patiently for my status window while continuing to suppress my emotions, that would cloud my vision suddenly it appeared my status.

    Upon seeing the status window, i twitched  in excitement but i still suppressed myself and was still calm. just silently reading my own profile in terms of numbers that seem to try and calculate my score and what im capable of, although there are lot of questions marks i knew it had to do with the fact that it was the most basic form of status windows, and not because i was too strong. i realised idiots that are overconfident in themselves will think that and die an early death but that doesn''t concern me. I noticed i had quite a lot of evil points and judging from it, it must be acts to do with death and things that people will considered evil for their own fake society, likewise with the good points. Im guessing but the evil points and good points are probably worth more than the universe points and that there are more points then what they let on but right now i guess it is the most basic form of points. Although universe points are probably something similar to money and is the lowest form. I guess i have to buy information about this point system that will show up soon, after all information is important and maybe i can get a sword that can finally withstand my special power. Damn my emotions are flaring up again calm down me, you have to think it through calmly you can let it rip in battle but keep it in check when something important is happening, i shouldn''t cloud my vision. Just when i was calming myself down the point system appeared in front of me.

    As i finished reading the message, i started to speak i want to narrow down the choices to information, transport, communication, upgrades for the body and swords.     Unable to control my emotions any longer my desires overflowed and my body reacted in a similar matter, my body started to tense up, i started to sweat and preparing myself for battle , i was releasing an aura of death that cloaked around me, and without realising it my face had a wide smile, as i started to choose the ??? choice even though i know nothing about it but my instincts are screaming at me to take this chance, its saying i have to get it or i will regret it, so without realizing it i chose the information pack and the ??? sword leaving my points to a total 0. Suddenly a message appeared and .....

    im really tired doing this, no readovers, no editing just the classic first draft, this is the longest draft i have to done so far, too lazy to do a proper read over the longest chapter by far im dead tired.

 a rant about the fiction and a idea or chapter that i might finish today or tomorrow

    This is the author this is, the most tiring story i ever wrote by far, im super lazy by nature the tables are a pain and writing as i go is hard, however i will continue this but this is a side project after this has reached 5 chapters or i feel like doing 3 worlds = 1 world i would focus on 3 world = 1 world. I write things as i go, and i suck and dont do editing or read overs so most of the chapters i post are just the first draft and i normally write them in the boxes. anyway i dont know why chapters are so long for this story but heres a idea of a chapter im going to do today or tomorrow.

    When shadow saw the message, and upon reading all of it he suddenly felt a force acting on him, getting disoriented shadow started to lose his senses and then fainted. Upon arrival the force disappeared and shadow. no longer feeling the oppressed force started to wake up.


    Although still disoriented shadow started to make out his surroundings it appears he was in some kind of white room, devoid of anything aside from a white floor, walls and roof (shadow doesn''t know that its a perk given to people that spent more than 1000 points of any kind. a temporary room for privacy to allow the user to familiarize themselves with  the items.).


    However just as he was observing this strange room, a clank was heard and  a table suddenly appeared out of thin air, on top of the pure white table was 2 items a wrist bracelet of some kind and a sword wrapped in chains, covered in immense darkness that reeked of blood and death. Shadow expecting a trap of some kind suppressed his emotions to keep a calm clear mind.


    However, subconsciously shadow started to walk slowly, one feet at a time heading towards the table, he was entranced by the sword aura making him feel compelled to draw closer, and yet shadow just felt peace instead of suspicion and kept on walking until he arrived, just when he was about to touch the sword he broke free from the trance. upon breaking the trance shadow quickly utilized his assassin training and suppressed his desires wondering how he even got there, but even the training didn''t work and once again his desires overflowed and his hand reached out to touch the chained sword.

    Upon reading the message, I started to feel a pull and strain on my body and slowly it started to become stronger and stronger.


    ¡°Damn its becoming worse I feel like im getting pulled in all directions at once¡±, ¡°I cant keep it up im becoming disoriented damn it¡±, ¡°come on assassin training kick in damn it¡±.


    A feeble voice came out of my mouth, unable to even gather the strength to talk. I tried to get my bearings but to no avail the force was too strong my mind in shambles or I could do was wait for the inevitable,


    ¡°NO NO NO NO¡± I tried to scream ¡°I cant let this happen, I am shadow the future heir to  the devsangels clan, I am the embodiment of death I cant lose¡± and for a moment the oppressing force disappeared being pushed back by my willpower and death power. But it came back with a vengeance and shattered my cloak of death, without a chance  I blacked out.


    I woke up with a massive headache, but as I tired to get up I collapsed onto the floor, my body refusing to obey my orders, I could only wait there until I could move again. After some time the headache started to weaken and taking this chance I utilized my assassin training to clear my mind, to keep calm.


    ¡°breathe in and out¡± I started to slowly unwound, with a clear mind I tried to understand the situation, moving my eyes I noticed that I was in a some kind of sealed white room, completely empty of anything, I tapped onto the wall but nothing happened except for a sound. I then turned around and started to gather my power within my fist and then I punched the wall, but again nothing happened except for a louder sound. "the materials are probably the administrators work judging from the hardness, it seems to near impregnable, however i wonder" as i was pondering about the walls, a table started to materialize  out of thin air, and with a clank i turned to face the new sound only to see a completely white table with 2 objects on it.

    A wrist bracelet of some kind, that was completely white and seemed to be made out of the same material as the walls, and a sword wrapped in chains releasing a deadly aura. Although i was fascinated by the appearances of theses 2 items, i suppressed my emotions yet again as the aura from the sword was making me on guard, i knew that this was probably the items purchases but the sword was bad news judging from the aura that seems to mimic my own.


    However just as i was reorganizing my thoughts, my body in a trance,  started to move forward one step at a time, until i finally reached the table. upon reaching the table i finally broke free, but it was futile as i attempted to once again suppress my emotions, my desires flared up and my hand slowly reached out to touch the sword.


    Suddenly i heard  a voice in my head, " I have searched for a extremely long time to find a master, however none has satisfied me and all that have tried has died. I will make a contract with you if you pass the trial the contract will be complete, you cannot refuse". suddenly chains appeared around shadow and started to bind him making him incapable of anything. "I have been searching a long time i hope you don''t disappoint me, although my powers are sealed the trial would still be the same if i was unsealed so beware"" LET THE TRIAL BEGIN". Suddenly more chains appeared and the aura of death, started to thicken and spread while darkness started to seep everywhere turning the once white room into complete darkness. it had even affected the wrist bracelet. turning it into a ominous red and black color.


    "AGGGGGGGG, my head my body its being teared apart aghhhhhhhh" i screamed. "THE PAIN THE PAINNNNNNNNNN". as the darkness and chains started to converge onto me, the pain intensified. "I CANT KEEP UP MY BODY IS TEARING APART" ,slowly but surely my body was being disintegrating by the trial.


    Even my normally hard will couldn''t bear it, as  i lay there covered in chains and darkness slowly dying, i knew why so many others have failed and died, unable to continue i gave up on resisting allowing myself to die. Just when i was about to die my desires i kept buried surfaced, and suddenly  a small sheen of power appeared covering me with a flimsy cloak of death.


    Without realizing it i completely released my desires that i have buried for so long, my desire for death, my desire for battle and my desire for POWER. REAFFIRMING MY WILL I STARTED TO ONCE AGAIN RESIST, but it was too late the damage has been done, i was too late my body was already half gone, but WILL I GIVE UP NO,


    I concentrated what little of power i had left and activated a forbidden rite of the devsangels known only to the head and the heir, by sacrificing half your race lineage and losing half your body  you can devour some other life form lineage and use it to recreate a new body effectively belonging to both races and a new race would be born. I targeted the sword and my power reached towards it and was slowly assimilating it with myself forming a new body.


    However i didn''t know that this was one of the ways to complete the contract as the first is to destroy your body and recreate it with the sword, only people who has a strong desire to live will survive this ordeal. The sword didn''t resist the assimilation and instead hasten it, suddenly there was a loud noise and all the chains and darkness disappeared having finally been absorbed by me.


    I collapsed onto the floor and before losing my conscious i reached out to the bracelet and attached it to myself and managed a small shout of triumph before falling into the abyss. "I AM SHADOW the heir to devsangel and the master of DESIRE"

    HI lazy author here, this chapter will be completed today or tomorrow or tomorrow. it will be focused on explaining the changes that occurred to shadow, the essential information pack for newbies,  the sword called desire. after that the following chapters will be world building, character development, shadows retainers, other characters, power gauge etc. then they will go to the new universe btw shadow isnt that op hes strong but, even with the sword hes still about mid rank in his family. (he cant use the sword that well, the sword powers are sealed, he is very young, etc.) there are many lifeforms after all.

    i didnt want the mc to get a power due to his super willpower cos hes not that mentally strong no body is,  instead i wanted him to get the contract through other means and the main way which was to have a strong desire to live, the sword was testing for desire as it is the sword desire.

 book 1 chapter 3 changes completed

    In the midst of once a pristine undisturbed white room, now it has been tainted by darkness having huge gashes in the wall caused by the chains going out of control.


    In the center of the room that used to be devoid of anything aside from the table and shadow, now  stood a massive cocoon in the middle surrounded by chains and cloaked by darkness with the aura of death seeping out.


    The chains surrounding the cocoon trashed around the room causing bigger and bigger gashes until the wall was on the verge of breaking, just when it was about to continue  its rampage the chains started to get retracted along with the darkness and the aura. Suddenly a loud Boom happened and the cocoon was no more in its place was a new species, a new improved life form SHADOW.


    Shadow stood up silently and started to survey his surroundings, and was shocked upon seeing the devastated room. The walls he couldn''t even damage is nearly destroyed to bits, massive gashes everywhere the white color turning into black and red. Shadow started pondering about how this situation came to be until he remembered about what happened.


    Suddenly a sharp pain coursed through his head, it appears that shadow was still disoriented and would require time to sort himself out, just when shadow was about to commence his diagnosis of his surroundings, the events that occurred and himself. A loud noise rang out screaming out ACTIVATING and suddenly a bright light shone originating from the bracelet forming a screen in front of shadow.

    Before shadow could even start to read the screen in front of him, he collapsed onto the floor, and started to spasm wildly, his arms thrashing around, his legs smashing the floors, as he was screaming in agony he let out a massive shock wave that encompassed the entire room causing the already fragile walls to break apart causing the room to collapse onto shadow.


    During his rampage  his desires and power leaked out of him, causing the chains, darkness and the aura to leek out again. The chains that came out of his body appeared to be different to the original chains, no longer was it completely black it turned into a dark crimson color giving an ominous feel to it, as if it was signalling your death was near. and they thrashed around forming a protective barrier around shadow and destroyed the crumbling rocks. .


    However a single rock made it through the chains barrier, it was heading towards the thrashing body of shadow, but upon contact with a thin film of aura it was obliterated to smithereens. the darkness once again started to form around shadow, but this time instead of a cocoon the darkness accompanied by the chains and aura started to form a vortex around shadow.

    Moving faster and faster the vortex quickly became a hurricane of darkness with chains encompassing it until an image appeared of what once was his mother being smashed and instead showing a picture of a sword covered in chains,  signifying the rituals success, the side effects slowly dispersing and shadow stopped thrashing only to discover the power he has inherited from his mother side has disappeared into thin air only to be replaced with a sword that is locked with chains upon chains upon chains with only one chain being released.


    With the side effects gone shadow stood up with a clear mind, thrumming with power although half his power dried, it got replaced with a more pure version of deaths power. Shadow then realized the situation, finally able to be clearheaded he realized his own desires and the destruction that comes along with it, the consequences of his actions. Shadow although shocked realized the truths in those words and suppressed his emotions.


    Upon suppressing his emotions, his head connected dots for him subconsciously he knew that the sword was now a part of him,  and that he must have past the trial as he was still alive but he asked anyway, "who are you""You are far to weak to know my situation it would only do more harm than good but seeing as you are my master let me bestow you my name i am the rank??? sword DESIRE. "i would tell you more latter but right now open up the screen on your bracelet".


    Although a bit reluctant shadow complied only to see a message about his purchases, upon reading all of it he decided to check on himself first and asked for his status window.

    HI its me again, the lazy author that doesn''t edit or read over, just releasing first drafts as it is so the writing may seem cheap and bad.  Writing as i go is hard but whatever, The room although strong for the start, it is just a low ranked material belonging to the administrators as it was a bonus for 1000 points or more purchases, although 1000 is a lot its nothing compared to the truly strong this will be explained later.

 should i do a new chapter or a sidestory chapter

    should i finish of his new transformation, so hes looks, his power, the consequences, info dump about the setting, a hint about the sword, forbidden rites, his new class etc. or a side story introducing one of his main enemy/ rival belonging to a well known race among other races,the main instigator against devsangel ( any more will be spoliers). how their race is considered holy and he makes a contract with a sword/ bow/ knifeetc.

    depending on he poll is what i would do today or tomorrow, ( yes i should be busy but i find writing this calms me down, and release stress, but not enough to warrant a proper read over or editing just the first draft, takes so much effort) anyway please choose options also i completed the previous chapter  that was half done

 book 1 chapter 4 new body completed

    FOR THOSE WONDERING THIS IS AFTER HE VIEWS HIS STATUS WINDOW and upon viewing it he does this.


    A stoic ¡°I see¡±  silently escaped from a life form with vacant eyes. eyes that have lost its lustre being replaced with a dark crimson colour that seems to give of an ethereal feeling, as if death and desire is looking over you ready to reap your life at any moment. The life form was shadow.


    Shadow just stood there letting the information soak in, the realisation of his actions and what consequences it had caused. Shadow having already experienced the side effects of the ritual he had done, has realised the full extent of his actions, creating a new body with half of his old body along with the sword forming an entire new being.


    Although he already noticed that he has already lost half his lineage and power that came from his mother side, and it being replaced with the sword''s power and lineage. He started to analyse deeply about himself by sending his power along with his will that continued to circulate around his body.


    Its purpose was to discover hidden secrets about his new found body, only to be stopped when he was nearing the sword''s area of power within the body a massive barrier that was only blocking his will was in his way and the only thing he could do was see the sword being covered by chains with one being released.


    Knowing that he couldn''t do anything against the barrier that seemed to be erected, he went to see his other half the original half, however there was a barrier as well, it allowed his power to go through but his will had to stay behind, the only thing he could see was a lake filled to the brim with red liquid.  However what surprised him the most from his observations was that there was a chain connecting it across from the other side showing a slow transfer of power between the two areas.


    Realising that nothing more could be achieved from this endeavour he retracts his will, and starts to survey his physical condition as he has finished with the internal conditions.


    To test out his body''s physical specs he started to do exercises, which was past down from his family founder, to discover his limits he went further than usual and attempted to replicate a stance that required massive abilities of durability and flexibility along with strength. As the exercise required you to focus all your power within the body and slowly transfer it to the fist. This display will determine how strong your body is through seeing if there is any strain on the body parts as more and more power is being focused while moving rapidly to a point. It is also a move called the life risking blow designed to cripple a person external defences while sending an internal shock wave to rupture their insides.


    Shadow slowly followed the steps out of caution, he noticed that he could only achieve 80% but not because of his body but rather his control over his power. From this he drew a judgement about his body that it was far stronger than his old body, but it has a lot of secrets as when the life form was executing the move his body instantly started to go active and drew out a clear path for the power to take, and when following the path the power became multiplied and more focused into a single point.

    Shadow then assessed his current appearance, to find any differences between the new and the old body. There was slight differences which enhanced his appearance, pure white skin, eyes that radiated death and devoid of emotions. and the short lustrous hair of pure crimson. Every other part seemed to be the same appearance as the old allowing one to still recognise his face.


    Shadow finished his analysis  to the best of his current ability continued to slowly breath in and out to continue suppressing his emotions, to become cold and calculating, rather than the ruthless Shadow that obeyed his desires.


    Upon calming down again, in order to ensure the best results possible rather than the other personality which wouldn''t systemically choose the best option, but rather on his emotions. (There are 3 aspects to his personality the calm, the desire, and the normal.)

    The evil point- associated with acts that society would consider evil , death etc. Worth more than the universe point but the current going rate is 100 universe point for 1 evil point.


    The good point-associated with acts that society would consider good, saving someone, healing etc. Worth more than the universe point but the current going rate is 100 universe point for 1 good point.


    There are hidden point types, which are worth far more but the information is not available to your current status.


    The power ranking system goes from level 1 z-, to level 100 z- which then advances to z level 1 to level z level100, and then z+ level 1 to z+ level 100 then onwards to y-, etc.


    The official ranking system goes from basic lifeform citizenship level 1, to level 10 before advancing into basic lifeform + level1, then it goes from basic, normal lifeform, advanced lifeform, serf, citizen, advanced citizens, minor noble, etc.


    There are different sectors governed by the 100 races each having their own sector. a sector is about the size of a galaxy it could be bigger depending the area. The current sector you are going to is GAIA, governed by the Cuddles.

    Shadow upon seeing the last sentence suspected something as he was reading through the messages, the id bracelet seems to have an ai judging from the messages that doesn''t seem official like. Shadow then thought back to the start and remembered that the id bracelet was meant to be white and not the dark crimson color it is currently. Shadow concluded that the bracelet had mutated due to the influence of his transformation, and decided to press it for details after reading the new screen that showed in front of him.

    Tables are hard really hard, my laptop is kinda half broken and so releases wont be as fast as before, and im just writing first drafts releasing them as chapters, with bad writing and grammar. writing as i go so there might be contractions it would help greatly if you could spot them out for me.

 book 1 chapter 6 AI?

    The moment shadow asked the question, the bracelet just remained motionless not activating or moving , It appeared that nothing was happening and that there was no ai, shadow scratched his head thinking to himself could he be mistaken?


    But as Shadow was second guessing himself the bracelet started to emit a glow, a small faint glow of crimson. However that faint glow soon flickered out of sight leaving no evidence of its existence. Shadow in the middle of second guessing himself has missed this vital clue.


    Deciding its time to finish. he clicks the button for deactivation however he accidentally brushes against the flickering faint crimson glow, at the moment of contact the bracelet started to emit crimson light and. suddenly a screen appeared in front of Shadow.

    However currently your hidden feature ai is undergoing some unknown changes due to an unknown external influence.


    As a special service for being one of the life forms that has discovered the ai within their bracelet, the system will allow you to discard your current ai due to unknown external influences and will provide with another one, or the system will slow down the transformation process in order to have a still functional ai while it is still undergoing its changes.


    Which option do you wish to pick user Shadow, the first option of a new ai or the second option of keeping it.

    Flabbergasted at the situation, Shadow started to ponder the 2 choices should he choose the s safe option or the risky option.


    If he chooses the safe option of getting a new life form to inhabit his id bracelet to act as his AI, which will then immensely help him with the features of the system. It means that he will have a guarantee safe ai that would work however it wouldn''t be anything special.


    In this new universe lifeforms will need every help they can get to survive the slaughter that will occur soon.


    Shadow ended up summarizing the advantages of the New AI in his head to simply things,


    New AI, allows me to have a more comprehensive view of the systems and their features, allows the user to be more efficient in using the features and faster as the AI isn''t undergoing any changes so it could go at full power from the start. It will be able to connect with the system set up by the administrators faster, there could be unknown benefits in the future as well.


    The most important point is that it is safe and loyal to the user due to the contract between the 2 the user and the system, in which the AI counts for a part of the system however the contract isn''t 100%, its more 50% as the user is using a intermediary and therefore the link is weaker than a direct contract. Thus lowering its overall effectiveness until a direct contract is made.

    But the new AI, wouldn''t be special it would be the same as all the others, to survive i need all the help i can get though hmmmmmmm. The bracelet would just become ordinary aside from sword resonance. The help given will also slightly be reduced due to the contract being halved is the safety worth it?


    On the other hand the second option, is for the AI (its a life form btw) to slow down its transformation, so while its still being transformed it is done more slowly allowing the ai to still assist the user with its service although it would be basic assistance as they are still being transformed.


    The slow down current AI- allows for a different AI which could be better than the normal AI, it would be a variant version of its race the polygons. Meaning its potential could be much higher than its other members of its race. It would have a 75% contract as the change is initiated from a power similar to my power  allowing for a more closer contract link.


    However this option would mean the user has to make do with the most basic explanation and the most basic usage of its features unable to run properly due to the AI being incapacitated. Also the transformation could end up being a failure and worsen the AI instead.


    "Choices choices, what should i go with the safe or the risky path, the logic behind both of them is sound which should i choose". As shadow was pondering his choices of the keeping his AI or getting a new one. A screen showed up in front of him

Shadow noticed by letting the power takes it''s course he would have a 100% contract as Shadow realized that the AI was undergoing a mini trial caused by his leaking power during his trial. And the most important thing to past the trial was to let the life form itself past without outside help, as it would make the trial worse, so the second option is out of the question with only 5 seconds left SHADOW SHOUTED" I CHOOSE OPTION 3 LEAVE IT ALONE".


    Shadow although feeling a bit nervous about his rash decision (hes in calm mode btw), that was unbecoming of him in his calm mode waited until a screen appeared in front of Shadow.

    im really lazy writing as i go, bad writing in general, barely any editing, no plan , etc. i wont be realeasing as fast asi uesed to due to school work thats coming up close and other factors. although i planned to write about desire and the othre stuff after the setting looks like that would ahve to be the next chapeter, and then i swap povs to other characters and have a scaling to show the power levels of characters etc.

 shadow profile (the rough idea of his personality)

    I realized i really didn''t do his characterization properly as i was focusing more on the setting i guess, so in my later chapters i will focus a bit more on him so people could understand him better. So i will do his pov more with more dialogue and actions. The rough idea for his personality is that he is ruthless, cold, realistic, kind in his own way. He has 3 states, the calm state which gets rid of unnecessary emotions in the way of the missions and uses a systematic approach to things, it allows for Shadow to overclock his brain at times to better his thinking processes, however it has side effects if it goes on for too long current up time is about 10 hours for 1 week for no side effects, and the longer you push the state the more mental strain occurs. Also the longer you suppress the emotions, when it wears off Shadow may turn into desire mode.

    "Wait, a minute when i said that option for some reason my emotions flared up, and i just said it without thinking properly."


    " Could it be that something is influencing my thinking process at the time to make it seem appealing".


    Suddenly Shadow started to clutch his head tightly screaming "AGGGGGHHHH my head, what is causing this pain, did i push myself too hard with my calm state".


    Suddenly like a lighting bolt Shadow realized something important that he wasn''t in his calm mode anymore and instead he was in his normal mode.


    "Thats why i cant think properly and my head hurts, something has strained my mental ability to keep calm, BUT WHAT IS IT".


    Shadow in the middle of contemplating on what happened to him, forgot completely about the AI until a screen appeared in front of him, but this time something was different the screen was no longer the bright colour it became dark crimson dark.

    Shadow screamed furiously and started to leak his powers outside with his rage and self loathe,  CHAINS appeared whipping around him and the darkness converged on him forming a cloak of power around and with a Sword forming in his hand. A sword made out of pure darkness criss crossed with chains around the blade.

    Shadow was giving in to his emotions, until the sword within his hand shined brightly and suddenly a screen appeared in front of Shadow.

But right now Shadow didn''t care all he cared right now was to release everything his emotions, his anger.


    As Shadow was rampaging his eyes previously lifeless was now emitting the eyes of death itself, the desire to crush everything. A red mist started to omit from the sword along with the bracelet completing covering Shadow and then Shadow stopped rampaging and just felt at peace his desires no longer flaring up anymore and was satisfied for now. Only then did shadow realized the screens and knew what calmed him down and where it had originated from DESIRE.

    In response towards shadows demand of explaining himself Desire simply opened a screen in front of shadow.

    Although Shadow was obviously  disgruntled about the situation, he could do nothing but comply if he wanted answers so he replied with "Please continue on then Desire". Desire just opened a screen in front of Shadow as his reply.

    Now to begin, i am the sword DESIRE like my name suggests my power lies with darkness and desire.


    I belong to the special series of swords called eternal, each eternal is named after their raw power or special ability such as death, hope, despair, etc.


    My special ability is sword resonance it allows me to track a sword of the eternal series if they are within my field of detection.


    Every sword has a different trial to find their master and the weaker the sword the easier the trial, Before i met you i was one of the few swords remaining without a master. We swords cannot utilize our full potential without a master, and so when a sword with a master fights with a sword without a master unless they are different ranks the sword with the master will win.


    We swords can grow stronger depending on our elements and powers, for example the death sword gets stronger the more she kills with her masters as long as she bathes in their blood and takes away their life essences she would grow stronger.


    I get stronger by desiring more powers more and more, so i devour other swords and gain their powers especially if they are from the same species as me.


    We swords have a ranking system different to the systems version ours is simply rank 1 , 2 and so on until the number 100 where swords below that are just trash in our eyes.


    I wont tell you my real ranking as you are too weak and im currently sealed so i would tell you currently the power you can release is not even a rank.


    There is no known sword ranked 1, it is said in a legend that all the rank 1 swords tried to devour each other to reach rank 0 but failed and split into many pieces and those pieces are us swords.

    Until one day a powerful lifeform had appeared, renowned across the world as the number one sword master disciple


    , having talent far superior to his master his master has sent him here to find a suitable sword for himself. As the deposit is where the most powerful swords was kept, in the royal treasury of the sword kingdom.


    The disciple however was warned to never touch the long sword leaking the aura of darkness as it was believed to be cursed, the disciple however in his arrogance disregarded  his master advice and believed that only he could wield the so called cursed sword. However like all before him he also failed and died, when the news was spread across the world kingdoms united together and sealed the sword within an enclosed room where none can enter.


    As the sword lay there piling dust, all it could do was watch the other inferior swords being chosen and having a master, allowing it to achieve its life purposes. As the years go past and the sword being forgotten, the sword started to become envious and jealous of the other inferior swords wandering why is it only him that wasnt chosen, and that other weaker swords was chosen.. Soon the sword started to DESIRE things and broke free of his imprisonment sick of the emptiness he set out without a master to achieve his original mission to become the strongest.


    On his journeys not a single life form passed his trial and all died, still wandering without a master his powers was limited. Desire was wandering randomly until  one day he picked up on another sword from the same series, desiring its powers he planned an ambush towards the sword. And on that day Desire had devoured Death and taken her powers for his own becoming stronger.


    However as Desire was feasting on Death she had sent a message for help towards RESTRAINT another sword whose power was to seal. When Restraint came near the scene it was too late Death had been completely devoured by desire and in his rage Restraint had called his master over to use his strongest ability chains of judgement.


    Desire however was aware when he was feasting as picked up on Restraint, so the moment chains of judgement activated Desire had launched his own attack. An attack combined with the power of Death and Desire however without a master its power was halved. As the chains sealed Desire the attack had hit Restraint and his master causing massive damage towards them, which led to the weakening of  the seal allowing Desire to escape.


    As Desire was escaping he noticed that he could only muster a very tiny portion of his power and was enraged, until he noticed that the seal was actually weakened and that Desire could actually devour it with time slowly but surely. However he picked up on many weaker swords nearing his position, and all of them had chains on them marking them as a servant of Restraint just when Desire was cursing himself for not having  a master a screen appeared in front of him. then he disappeared along with the chains on him.


    That is the bare minimum of my life i can tell you Master or Shadow what do you prefer me to call you anyway.

    im a lazy author, that only releases first drafts, the writing might be worse than normal as im writing this when im not feeling good, (i think i might have depression and anxiety) .  I will start again on this project, soon the battles will come just wait meanwhile i made another side project for fun again its no editing but, its something different you can see it in my signature.     "Thats quite a story im impressed" said shadow as he finished reading through the screen that appeared in front of him.


    "I never knew you were that strong but NOW ITS TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS DESIRE" screamed Shadow


    "NO MORE GAMES I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THE AI" said Shadow his voice started to emit shock waves due to his powers leaking out from his anger.


    In response Desire attempted to  open another screen but couldn''t due to an unknown reason so he directly talked within Shadow mind. "I told you i will answer them later but for some reason i cant open up a screen, i cant talk to you like this for much longer as my powers are sealed and i can only talk to you when you use my powers since im sealed. "


    "All i can tell you now is that somethings happening to us, im guessing its time for the transfer to the new universe, i cant keep this up for longer so before i go i will tell you that i will answer your questions when i could open the screens again but for now i will answer your most important question the answer is ..", Desire voice suddenly stopped midway because the transfer had begun.


    " DAMN IT SO CLOSE, oh well its time to go i guess" said Shadow as a force was acting upon him, one minute had passed and Shadow was gone.


    In a land filled with boundless vegetation covering the majority of the land,  and untapped resources, 1000000 new races had appeared randomly separated into different areas to avoid congestion. Each race that has achieved intelligence was teleported near a town or capitol of the planet where the cuddles live and where the system reigns.


    "Where am i, where is this place, should i ask someone" pondered Shadow as he appeared in a thick jungle. "Hey is any body here," silence followed his shout, getting pissed Shadow once again spoke " HEY IS ANY LIFEFORM HERE AT ALL" again silence followed. This time Shadow just whistled but no response came.


    "I''m alone huh, seems like my retainers aren''t on this planet or nearby" suddenly a shadow dropped behind Shadow and he quickly turned around only to see his most trusted and strongest of his retainers Alastor.


    "Young master I have finally found you, after you had disappeared from the white space i was worried but i managed to track you down using some of my points" said Alastor. "I am the only retainer here with you the others have gone to the YOUNG MASTER QUICK GET DOWN!" as Alastor was speaking he moved his body and tackled Shadow to the ground.


    THUNK In the space that Shadow was previously standing an arrow radiating light was there. " What the" said Shadow as he surveyed his surroundings for his enemys while moving. THUNK THUNK THUNK more arrows was launched each radiating light, suddenly instead of a couple of arrows in the air there was a massive shower of them all aiming for Shadow and Alastor.

    "Whats going on Alastor do you know which enemy is doing this" said Shadow as he was jumping from tree to tree dodging the arrows. Alastor who was right behind Shadow was blocking all the arrows that would have hit the both of them by using his death power said " I think i know who they are judging from their arrows it seems to be our mortal enemy the one that created the coalition whose goal was to wipe our race to extinction."


    ''Spare me the history later, right now we have to survive" said Shadow as a arrow flew right past him. "As you wish young master" said Alastor as the 2 of them was constantly dodging the enemys arrows.


    "enough of this its my turn take this DEVSANGELS: said a mysterious voice as he let go his arrow, a grade ahead of the others it pierced through the air , causing a sonic boom and tearing through the land by passing through it trees uprooted, grass flattened the air crackling. As the arrow fly''s straight and true at a extremely fast speed radiating a massive light it hit Shadows shoulder as he wasn''t expecting such a powerful blow from the enemy''s since the arrows before it was way weaker.


    A massive arrow head was stuck in Shadows shoulder bypassing Shadows natural defenses causing a massive injury, with blood dripping down. "this is what i get for being careless eh" said Shadow, " YOUNG MASTER YOU WILL PAY" screamed Alastor as he started to become serious but was stopped by Shadow as he said "Leave it to me, i want to test something out" "understood young master, but let me do this one move".


    Just as he finished speaking the entire area was wiped clean the surroundings having been blown to smithereens, causing a massive empty space, like a desert it had no vegetation left. The manuver was controlled carefully as Alastor only did the maneuver to reveal the enemies to Shadow.


    "that wasnt necessary Alastor but what done is done" said Shadow as he was surveying the surroundings. "Its time to go serious, I WHO CRAVES POWER, I WHO CRAVES BATTLE, I WHO CRAVES DEATH I AM THE MASTER OF DESIRE SHADOW RELEASE"

    i only release first drafts and crappy writing, im writing this at night so im tired so it might be worse than normal. Im too lazy to complete it i would do it tomarrow besides i already released a chapter. I can write descriptive and show without telling but im too lazy so meh

 to clear some confusions

    originally i was planing to explain the details of the his race and shadow in general, but since readers are confused i will give some brief information.


    Devsangel-  race that has extremely low population consisting of only 10000 survivors, this is the race the main character belongs to, all the members belong to the clan essentially a kingdom in a sense, lots of variations in terms of combat power, extreme hatred towards most races, humanoid with the power of flight through their powers, highly adaptable, upon meeting a new race the race will consider them blood thirsty as they release a aura of death around them, skilled in swords and assassinations. They are immortals from birth but due to the fact that the children are fairly strong compared to others races from birth as well as being an immortal, it takes a long time for copulation to occur and the child to mature in this stage the child and mother are quite vulnerable to attacks. They are hated by lots of races in their universe, to the point where an entire coalition has formed containing half of the super powers in the universe to have an agreement to slaughter every devsangel they can see.  Each devsangel has their own special ability,


    Devs eternal- the only person who has this race is Shadow, a being created through a forbidden rite effectively a body with half of the power of a devsangel and an eternal.  there are quite a lot of secrets for this race, death power and eternal power.

    Shadow has 3 states because of some incidents that has happened in the past, where Shadow was originally a normal heir being raised strictly to ensure diligence etc. however Shadow has always been impulsive and goes with his emotions rather than his head.  After a certain incident the head has finally had enough of Shadow berserkers rage and taught him how to calm himself down as well as the fact that shadow himself was starting to regret his actions which led to the death of a loved one.  Effectively creating 3 states of which all is one, the calm, the normal, the desire. Shadow has met with Desire before, and that is how Desire locked onto shadows point system. i cant really reaveal more so i will stop here.

 book 1 chapter 10 Before the attack completed

    A large amount of lifeforms appeared near Shadows vicinity having been  teleported there by the administrators.  The lifeforms consisting of many races the more notable ones of strength are  Icarus, Kumasonart, connectors, Nokatet, Estranger, Phantasms, etc. thare are many less notable races such as  golems, dwarfs,elves, nymphs, spirits, dragons, world tree etc. Only a select few races are considered the top however most of the races at the top is some kind of variant or unique offspring from a more normal race.  The race that is in charge of the coalition is known as one of the strongest race  and the mortal enemy of the devsangel. They call themselves the ancients celestial.


    The lifeforms that was teleported near shadows vicinity are from the coalition, however they are made up of the weakest lifeforms from the strongest races and the stronger lifeforms from the more normal races. Overall the lifeforms that was teleported at the same planet as Shadow is one of the weaker parts of the coalition being near the bottom as it if filled with lots of normal races and the youngest/ weakest from the stronger races. Only the commander of the group was strong as a fairly strong lifeform from the ancients celestial are sent to each coalition group to act as a leader, to extend their influence and to provide a stronger power to the weaker parts of the coalition.


    The commanders that get sent by the ancients celestial are in charge of their group (one for each planet they are going to since the coalition has agreed to stick together), the stronger parts of the coalition will receive naturally the strongest members of the stronger races having a strict requirement, and the intermediate parts of the coalition will receive the weakest commanders as the soldiers themselves are fairly strong and competent, then the intermediate commanders are sent to the weakest groups to lead them properly, train them and to provide a higher attack power.


    The current group is considered near the bottom of the coalition army as, they barely was able to afford the information pack for newbies meaning that they are strong but not up to scratch compared to the far more stronger superior races within the coalition. The group primarily consisted of human cultivators, elves, dwarfs, orcs, goblins, kobolds, drakes, undead etc.  With only a 5 lifeforms belonging to the superior races a variant plague dragon, a phantasm, a connector, a Icarus and an estranger. They are the disciples of the commander which of course belonged to the race ancients celestial, the commander is considered mid rank within his race.


    As they appeared on the planet, the commander instantly gave out his orders his voice echoing loudly " Lifeforms belonging to the coalition, We have arrived at our destination our mission is to set up a temporary functional  base,  and then gather further information about the planet and the facilities it contains, and map out the surrounding areas.""Once we have all the necessary information we shall build a proper base on this planet as a foot hold for future means, Go to my disciples for further information about delegation of roles, REMEMBER LIFE FORMS, WE ARE THE COALITION OF JUSTICE WE ARE THE BANE TO DEVSANGEL AND THE BRINGER OF HOPE WE ARE THE UNION. DISMISSED"


    After the orders was given the lifeforms scattered into multiple groups each having their own tasks to fulfill, leaving only the clueless people who didn''t know where they were meant to be so they went towards the disciples and was stuck with the manual labor.


    "the remaining life forms over there go assist group one in building the base, said the estranger as he pointed towards a group that just stood still as the crowd started to thin. "You over there go help with the cleaning, You go help with the materials gathering, You go help the cooks" as the disciples started to point towards the remaining groups and delegated their roles. The other groups went to work, doing their delegated task in order to create a basic functional temporary base.  The disciples having nothing to do started to train, until their master appeared in front of them randomly and gave a sign to gather all the lifeforms.


    As the disciples started to call out and attempted to regroup the life forms, their master was sitting down patiently waiting and pondering about a matter that was weighing heavily on his mind. " I thought i felt a devsangel presence the moment i landed here, nah it cant be what devsangel is that weak to only afford the basic information pack for newbies, besides even if there was he wouldnt be here what are the chances of a weak devsangel appearing considering they barely have any population left.". "Still i have to confirm my suspicions, after all it is my goal to kill them all and wipe them to smithereens" murmured the commander as he stood up and suddenly left like a flash.

    "Whats that sound, whats that whistling sound" thought the commander as he was surveying the area of luscious vegetation while waiting for the group to regroup. Hearing the sound the commander went towards the sound only to see a young life form of that had pure white skin, eyes that radiated death, short hair of pure crimson. The life form had an ethereal look about him as well as a majesty aura of death.


    The commander was wondering about the strange life from until something clicked in his head "an aura of death that seemed very pure, feeling the presence of a devsangel, Thats it hes the devsangel" just as the commander was about to go forward and reveal his position of hiding,ge felt a massive chill that suggested that if he attacked the life form and reveal his position then he might die. Not taking any chances he traced his steps back to the coalition camp and decided to launch a full assault on the devsangel and hope to see if the chill was real or his imagination. Just after he left a couple of minutes later Shadow met with Alastor.


    As the commander was coming back he was greeted with all of the lifeforms standing in suit wondering why he recalled them so fast, "welcome back master, your orders sir, where did you go master," said his disciples but the commander just held up his hand and paused.


    He took a deep breathe and said "There is a devsangel on this planet, as it isour duty to rdi the universe of that filth we shall hunt it down, do not worry we far outnumber him and he looks to be really young and so still weak it is our time OUR TIME FOR VENGEANCE AND JUSTICE" his voice echoing across the surroundings and the members of the coalition started to become excited eager to kill.


    "ORDER" screamed the commander as the commotion was getting louder and louder, " TROOPS WE SHALL MARCH THIS INSTANCE BRING YOUR WEAPONS". As the commander finished saying that he started moving towards Shadow along with his entire army of troops, although the terrain made it harder to move as a cohesive whole it also provided defenses and vantages points for the army to take advantage from as the vegetation will make it harder to fight although a strong person could wipe it all gone.


    As Shadow met up with Alastor, the coalition army wasn''t far off and started a barrage of holy arrows, " ARCHERS READY YOUR BOYS, READY AND FIRE " , " ARCHERS FIRE AT WILL" obeying the orders the archers just kept on firing seeing how there was no need for a uniform archer formation of firing. Effectively creating a barrage of arrows peppering down from above.  " grrrrrrr worthless troops its not working" said a disciple as he watched the shameful display of the arrows having no effect on the devsangels, fed up with it he commanded an archer to hand him the bow and arrow.


    The disciple took the bow and started to draw and shouted "enough of this its my turn take this DEVSANGELS".


    The moment the arrow released from its string, it shot forwards and hit Shadow straight in the shoulder causing a massive injury due to the fact that it was the opposing element as well as Shadow leeting his guard down. "YES YOU DID SIR" screamed the soldiers in triumph as the arrow was stuck in Shadow''s shoulder. However the disciple in question simply said "DAMN ITS TOO WEAK". As the disciple was about to shoot another arrow Shadow started to chant something, and suddenly the entire area was wiped clean the land filled with life turned into a wasteland. ( ALASTOR DID IT NOT SHADOW).


    AS shadow was still chanting, the soldiers lost their spirits as they saw the first class power of destruction and death up close, some of the soldiers attempted to flee, some just stood still unable to move, others fought thought their fear and was planning an attack.


    The commander seeing the problem realized that the troops would be of no help told them to retreat and fall back and let him and his disciple finish the mission, the soldiers quickly obeyed the order soon leaving only 7 people in the wasteland. As the 2 opposing sides started to prepare themselves for battle, Shadow has fnished his transformation.

    Since i write as i go eventually without planning eventually some stuff will catch my eye and make things harder for me or wont make sense so in that case this is what the thread is for minor changes.


    The only change right now is the currency system


    The comment of how one gold equals 100 dollars is no longer valid, as when i think about it, things become messy due to buying power and different nations etc. Since every race is using this currency there should be no fluctuation in the overall price for an item (talking about different currencies only not about the location time etc nothing about the situation at the moment but rather the long run).. There fore the comment is no longer valid 1 GOLD DOES NOT EQUAL 100 DOLLARS.


    The term average races, weaker, stronger would be changed as their ranking from the administrators system would be revealed they would be referred to their overall ranking such as a v- race or a g +


    However i would give some kind of indication 10 copper is enough to buy the most basic form of nourishment for 1 day for the weaker races. (humans, plants, etc basically food and water enough for one day the bare minimum) . the basic nourishment for stronger races, average races, different races that gets energy from something else aside from food will be far more expensive than the weaker and basic races.


    The description about the item of stronger than the average weapon from the average races means it is stronger than the typical sword created from a dwarf or so which is stronger than average weapons from the weaker races such as humans.. So the basic weapon series is actually strong compared with the far weaker races.


    This will be updated when i see something needs to be fixed early on, or needs some balance changing i would also release a race list, power list, geographical content as well as the power owning the geographical content, etc.

    icarus- beings that attempted to fly but cannot, however despite many deaths and failures one finally succeeded he was the founder of the icarus and taught his own fellow race to become like him, this race instead of having wings has gliders membranes covering that arms like a hang glider with a small black spot facing downwards protruding outwards this is the things that creates the constant thrust, maneuverable. this race is quite nimble in the air able to change direction with ease, and having the ability to control their thrust, however to make up for this they require lots of food and they have rather normal - high strength, normal intelligence, high- extremely high agility, but very low population,

    FOR WRITING ON THE SPOT VALUES ARE REALLY HARD, since i have to make things make sense with the market system etc.  This kind of story requires planning which i have none so this is torture as i have to decide the current values of stuff, like how much is this worth and so on, how much should this race get and stuff.  I am losing motivation rapidly to the difficultly i have set upon myself with this fiction i, am thinking of swapping it with Mortuis and making this a side instead of a main, due to many reasons, and the fact that i receive no responses to my hard work of writing these chapters (fair enough they are first drafts, with no planning but for a lazy guy like me this is a great achievement already).     More of the system will be revealed as the stronger lifeforms can purchase better information, however some will still be lcoked down such as the hidden systems, and the more advanced versions as there is a limit on the information you could buy at the start, since you would require something else to unlock it. The stronger people only gets points as there is no need for weaker levels of currency.
