《The gods chessboard》 A promise and a new beginning William led a satisfying life, born in a volcanic archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic, since young he loved the sea. Born in to a long dated traditional fishing family, he was expected to follow his ancestors¡¯ footsteps and become a man of the sea; however he broke traditions and went for a more passionate life. With the help of his aunt he learnt how to scuba dive and much later opened together a diving school. William was born with a gift; he was able to predict the weather, which might seem a useless skill in this day and age with all the technological advancements, however in an isolated island where an unexpected storm can reap your life such a skill was priceless. However even such a skill couldn¡¯t save him from what¡¯s to come¡­ When William was 23 he decided that it was time to go see the world and open his horizons, he traveled to the main island and bought a ticket to a massive cruise that would travel around Europe, the cruise name was ¡°Salvation¡±, during that travel he meet a dashing woman her name was Anabela, she was a Portuguese woman that was returning from a musical concert ,she was a musical genius and played amazingly well. Anebela was 2 years younger than William, had green eyes with a touch of brown, long blond hair and had that homely feel that some special people have. Just like usual they were having dinner in the massive dinner hall of the cruise. ¡°I still can¡¯t believe that you can swim around sharks and not freak-out!¡± ¡°It¡¯s really not big of a deal, if you know how to behave around them you can even feed them without losing a hand.¡±said William laughing ¡°Unbelievable¡± said Anabela slack-jawed ¡°Anyway, we should be arriving on ¡°Madeira¡±, my brother went there before and said that the place was amazing, so I was wondering if you wanted to visit the place with me?...¡± said Anabela while blushing ¡°Yeah, sure¡­¡±said William while losing all the color in his face ¡°William are you alright??! You look like a ghost!¡± said Anabela ¡°Y-yeah it¡¯s just that I had a bad felling all of a sudden¡± BWOOM!! Suddenly a massive explosion sounded in the distance¡­. The hall panicked immediately, and it could be heard screams all over the place. ¡°W-William what was that??!¡± said Anabela clearly shaken You could be reading stolen content. "BOOOOOM" ¡°¡­you are to go to the nearest life boat¡­.¡± Said a shaky voice from the same speaker ¡°William we should go, there is a lifeboat near my room.¡± Said Anabela worried ¡°Y-Yeah let¡¯s¡± said William while slightly shaking ¡­ When they arrived they finally arrived outside they immediately understood what was happening, the island that they were traveling too erupted¡­ It was like a demon rampaged on the earth, the night sky turned red and there was a massive column of fire and ashes in the air¡­ But the worst by far was the colossal wave that came next towards them, towering over 60 m¡­ William when looking at that wave finally understood what that bad felling was ¡­ however he was smiling , smiling in the face of death while thinking, that it wasn¡¯t so bad to die with her by his side¡­and it was obvious that she felt the same way , from the way that she was looking at him. ¡°William if there is an afterlife let¡¯s meet again, Ok?!¡±Said Anabela while enveloping her hands around William ¡°Me meet with a ugly woman like you?!¡± said William whit a deadpan face ¡°You¡¯re such an ass¡­. But that''s why i love you¡­. ¡°Said Anabela with a small laugh. ¡°And, yes I will meet you again¡­¡± said William while looking into her eyes, and in to the wave that was about to hit the ship. William looked at her and promised that no matter what they would meet again, even if he had to defy the gods themselves. Autor Note: Well folks here is my first chapter, I guess it might have come out with a bit to much drama, but I wanted create a drive for our MC and revenge is too mainstream in this site. [th_084_.gif] Meeting a godess William woke up in a strange place; it was a garden of sorts, you could see that a long time ago this place was incredibly beautiful and luxurious, but now it was nothing but a ruin. The ceiling was riddled with holes, where you could see the sun shining trough and it truly made one wonder what kind this place this used to be. However the most peculiar thing was without a doubt the floor, it was painted with silver and golden squares, it gave a feeling that once upon a time it used to be a board for a strange game, however now, not a single piece could be seen, and it gave an eerie feeling¡­ ¡°Riiiiip¡± an acute sound sounded, and a purple crack that kept expanding mysteriously appeared right in the middle of the chessboard ¡°Youngster, are you lost perhaps? Or have you come for me? To think I¡¯m being this underestimated, those old fools really are getting ahead of themselves... CICERO, Please take the trash out¡± A young lady came out from that crack, and as she commanded a titanic humanoid revealed itself. ¡°WOAH, WTF is that?! And what do you mean take the trash out?¡±Said William while running for his life ¡°Milady are you sure that he¡¯s here for you? Isn¡¯t he just a lost soul??¡±Said a booming voice from above ¡°Maybe¡­ Maybe not and honestly I¡¯d rather not take any chances¡± Said the young lady with a humph. ¡°Milady, please you know how we need some help, and as you can see he¡¯s harmless¡­and for all we know he might have just been sent by fate¡­¡± Said the giant ¡°Fate this¡­ fate that¡­¡± Muttered the young lady clearly annoyed ¡°H-Hey, What do you mean lost soul, and where the hell am I?¡±Said William ¡°Sweetie not hell, Heaven and you¡¯re dead. Anyway why do you say he can help us? Then let¡¯s get this party started, chose from one of these three trials and after that go through one of these three doors : The trial of Intelligence The trial of strength And the trial of endurance ¡°Choose wisely and I hope you turn out to be interesting¡­¡± Said the young lady while she vanished into thin air ¡°Ai, she really, loves making these types of shows¡­ Well little one I wish you luck¡± Said the giant before walking away, with earth shattering steps. ¡°¡­So what should I choose¡­ The first trial will probably be a game or a riddle, and god knows how much I hate those¡­¡± ¡°The second one will be what? Maybe I will have to fight a thousand enemies with a toothpick or something, guessing how crazy that lady is, this can¡¯t be that far from the truth. And although that would be pretty awesome, I would probably get rekt in a couple seconds¡­¡± ¡°And that leaves the last one; I hope this one won¡¯t be that bad. Sigh ¡­ I have a feeling that this will be such a pain ¡­¡± Said William (Ai, this little one sure is brave to pick the trial of endurance from such a cruel mistress, I hope he passes though, then things really could start getting interesting) thought the giant when he saw which trial he picked. However the most unusual thing was that there were all types of screams and moans. There were moanings of pleasure and screams that seemed to come from deepest level of hell. After walking for a couple minutes hearing those awful sounds, he reached a small tablet in front of garden from where all those sound were coming from. When he read he read the tablet he had a sudden urge to break it in half and and shove it up a certain goddess ass. ¡°Congratulations! You have finally finished the first and easiest part of the trial, and only after 6 days and 18 hours! The slowest time ever recorded. Now that the boring part is done with, I welcome you to my garden that I¡¯m sure you will love!¡± After kicking the tablet the tablet a couple dozen times, William finally headed inside the garden. The garden could actually be called beautiful and heavenly if it wasn¡¯t for a small problem¡­The plants were screaming louder and louder the deeper he got inside¡­ And now they weren¡¯t just screaming and moaning random things, they were insulting, singing, babbling and also in some disturbing way flirting with him¡­ ¡°Come on sweetie bring this grandma of yours some nightly pleasure!¡± ¡°HAHAHA, You Faggot I will rape your family and shit on your ancestors! The air turned thick and foggy and the tunnel was cramped with only one person being able to fit inside. ¡°Right¡­ this should be fun¡­¡± Said William as he went further inside William kept walking for a good amount time until he noticed a smell that was extremely familiar. The smell of the sea. All of a sudden William surroundings started crumbling and as the walls broke down to reveal a familiar scene, his old house, the house where he was raised, and also where he left his parents to pursue a more exciting life ¡­ While William kept observing the house an all to familiar scene started occurring inside ¡°William don¡¯t leave! I order you William I raised you and while you still live in this house you will do as I say!!¡± Scream an angry middle aged man from inside the house ¡°Son, our family is a family of fisherman, it¡¯s as your father says. Our family has been a family of fisherman for so long¡­ are you truly capable of destroying what your father and your ancestors have built on a whim ?!¡± Said a middle aged woman while trying to sound reasonable ¡°Mother is not like that, you still have sister to take care of the business, and I¡¯m pursuing what I love, I have learnt with aunt for so long¡­ can¡¯t you take in consideration what I feel ?!¡± Said a pleading voice from inside ¡°Son, you have a gift from the gods to predict the weather, don¡¯t waste it like that.¡± yelled the male voice again ¡°I¡¯m not wasting anything is my gift, and I can do with it whatever I want!¡±Said the young child ¡°You ungrateful bastard after all your mother and I have done for you you dare talk back to us like this?!¡± ¡°Son, please reconsider!¡±Pleaded his mother Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent.
