《Unprecedented Power》 Prologue The Mysterious Boy Chapter 0 Siris- Prologue Everyone knew the boy who lived in a cardboard box in the middle of brook street, the orphan who would never find a family, everyone who looked upon him knew that he was different. He had a desolate, dazed stare that made his pale blue-steel eyes look extremely eerie. so no one has ever approached him. Those that have found that as soon as they walk towards him, the boy¡¯s stare changes into one of coldness and death, the people getting into a cold sweat as soon as that stare changed and couldn''t approach any longer. All the most that people would do was leave food by the corner for him, and anyone watching the boy at that point would find a warm flash in his eyes before returning back into that eerie stare again. it was another day like before, the boy sat there again, it was a dreary day, the boy looked up towards the grey clouds, his eyes carrying countless emotions that couldn''t be expressed, and limitless amounts of memories that are forbidden to be told. the boy heard the familiar sound of fighting down the alleyway that he called his home, and saw a familiar face over the past year, a bullied boy. he would normally leave the boy be but he remembered the kindness the boy showed in the food he would bring him every week, so he got out of his box. those that regularly walk this street stopped for this shocking sight, the boy revealed his true height of 2 m, as the tattered cloak fell off his body, the surrounding people would see a toned and muscular body, and as he walked down the alleyway those close enough to hear could not hear even the slightest sound of footfall and those that witnessed were reminded of a different animals that prey upon others, wolves, panthers. and a cold shiver would pass down their backs. This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. i guess i should pay my debts he said to himself as he walked towards the bullies. the bullies didn''t make notice him until he said to them ¡°leave the boy alone¡± the bullies turned around to him, angry at being interrupted the middle bully turned around ¡°and why should we? and any way, who are you to tell us what to do?¡± the other bullies snickered and the same bully walked toward him and then, looking at him, pushed him into the refuge bin behind him. they all laughed and carried on with the young boy, but a minute later they felt a sense of dread unlike anything they felt before. sweat came at an astonishing rate on the three¡¯s body. they all turned around to see the boy stand up and look at them with a stare of unimaginable coldness and death, filled with fear the three bullies moved their bodies without even thinking, fear telling them to fight, survival instincts kicking in. but in 1 second flat the three bullies were knocked out. the boy went down towards the young boy and picked him up like nothing, the young boy witnessed everything and, he said in awe ¡°who are you?¡± he looked down towards the boy and, with a smile full of warmth, he answered ¡° I am Siris¡±.
How do people fell about his so far? Mysterious enough? Chapter 1 Chapter 1 The Accident Siris calmly walked the streets of the mountain town Spiral, he walked into the shade of the buildings, people greeting him along the road. after the incident with the teenage bullies he came to be respected by the other people living in Spiral. It is the year of 2359, and technology has skyrocketed, but because of this resources such as fossil fuels have nearly all been used up, and with all the technology they have they couldn''t save themselves by thinking of a new energy source, and so wars started all over the world. People used any means necessary to kill the other person, biological weapons, lasers, cyborgs, the list is endless for the ways that resulted in death. Then rumours circulated about a group of scientists experimenting to create the ¡°perfect weapon¡±, and many of their creations were used on the battlefield, and every single one of them killed thousands, but one more so than others, and similarly, they stated that this was the ¡°perfect weapon¡±. A boy that decided the outcome of the war between the Nero England and eastern Europe frightened the other country¡¯s much more than they had anticipated, for he had killed the massive army¡¯s of both sides in a week, by himself, using all manner of sly and cunning techniques such as poison and setting up bombs inside their camps. and when the two army¡¯s catch this boy, or try to, they would all die within getting reaching distance from him, cut or shot with uncanny accuracy and power. But the thing that frightened the worlds governments so much was that this boy was only 13. In the eyes of the government he was a freak, an abomination, a threat that must be stopped. so the governments joined together in a temporary truce to attack this boy and his makers. and so, of 3 years of tiredly searching, they found them, and they annihilated them¡. or so they thought. As the boy was their ¡°perfect weapon¡±, he could naturally survive an assault of this caliber, and he fled and hid, and he rejoiced. for he had been a prisoner, experimented on from a young age and learning all manner of things, and also tortured, trying to make him into a weapon and not a person, but what they didn''t know was that he could remember his life before! he could remember his name! now he harden himself, enduring, waiting for that one, sweet opportunity to escape. He hid in sewers and the wastes of the world for over a year, bidding his time until he and his makers were forgotten. and so he entered the city of spiral , and then he was accepted, for the first time in his life. now joy filled his mind, making him forget his past. Siris was walking downs the now familiar streets, thinking now of the future. he was trying to get into university, but Siris had to do some tests before he could. Siri laughed at the idea of tests, his time spent in the servitude of the scientists made him more intellectual than anyone could. plus with all the experiments Siris had unlimited mental and physical potential thanks to the experiments so he had no fear of these tests. He laughed to himself despite the experimentation and pain of the past, as numerous people say ¡°always look on the bright side¡±. In the midst of his dwellings, a meteorite outside the orbit of earth, came crashing down, burning away ti reveal a sparkling, translucent gem like rock that would put any diamonds found on earth to shame, and its path was heading straight for Siris, but more accurately his chest. Siri was aware of something coming for him but the gem was too fast for him to dodge and he got impaled by the gem. He looked down at himself, looking at it, in the middle of his chest, but there was something strange, there was no blood on it and there was no feeling of pain, actually there was a feeling of pleasure. then he felt a strange energy travel through the gem into his body affecting every single cell, every atom in his entire body, changing him, he looked at his hands and saw his fingernails become crystal like, his shoulder length hair changed colour from an ordinary brown to a sparkling white, and his eyes became sharp and clear like a diamond, he grew in height and muscle. he completely changed. Siris felt all this happening to him, and felt that the gem imbedded in his chest deteriorate, and flow in his blood stream, becoming one with him. but when the shards of the gem, possessing great power, reached his brain, he felt a tidal wave of power, uncontrollable, and he sank into unconsciousness. Siris woke up in the familiar room of Michael¡¯s house, Siris would always feel grateful to that boy as for the past few months he has been like a blessing for God. They must have moved me, he thought and a warm feeling passed through his cold heart. but then he remembered what happened. ¡®Was that a dream? no, no the pain was real enough¡¯ he looked towards his chest, his clothes was ripped to shreds, but no damage could be seen to his body. ¡®What?¡¯ he felt around his body, but couldn''t find anything to suggest that he was hurt. Although i have a much faster regeneration speed than humans, it shouldn''t heal this fast he thought to himself, then shock showed on his face, was it that? that crystal? he racked his brain trying to think of all the possibilities on how and why? even with his outstanding mind, he couldn''t think of any reason for it. But then BANG, his conscious was filled with the sound of the first step on the ground floor being trodden upon, Siris covered his ears from the pain and the shock of it, yet again dumbfounded with his strange ¡®upgrade¡¯, he controlled his breathing and suppressed his hearing to a regular humans, and sighed in relief when that unbearable noise went away. he noticed to his side a glass of water, he reached out for it, and the glass moved towards his outstretched hand. What? he reacted, jumping away from the glass, but his feet was caught within the covers of the bed, and even with his reflexes, he fell over onto the floor. the door opened and out came Alena, the sister to Michael carrying a tray of food. ¡°Ah your up!¡± she put the tray down on the cabinet next to the bed, then put her hand on Siris¡¯ head, and in a relieved voice, ¡°Thank god, that fever is finally gone¡±. Siris was shocked. A fever? he has never had a fever ¡°I¡¯ll get more water for you¡± and with that she turned around, and with a fleeting glance back at Siris, left him with his breakfast. He sat up in his bed, sweating. His heart stirring with fear. What is going on? Chapter 2 Siris looked at himself in the mirror, trying to find anything different about him to no avail. The only thing he could find different was the crystal clear look his eyes gave, he remembers when these eyes were dull and lifeless. He shook his head to get rid of those memories. ¡°Okay, my senses have been upgraded¡¡± he sneered. ¡°Again.¡± he walks back and forth, trying to figure everything out. ¡°And what was with that glass? That was so strange.¡± It¡¯s obvious that that crystal had something to do with it, but what is it? How can a crystal do something like this? Albeit it did come from space and as people say, its ¡®uncharted territory¡¯. But still? What am I going to tell Michael¡¯s family? He wonders, I could say it was a nosebleed. He eyes light up at the idea. Simple as it may be, simple is the best, he reckons. He sits back down onto the bed, and starts eating his breakfast. After eating, he moves down stairs. It was a journey, as Michael¡¯s family was quite well-off, so the stairs in the house/mansion went on endlessly. His eyes glittered in humour when thinking that the stairs would be an exercise by itself. He jumped the last ten stairs when he made sure no one was around him, and he landed without a sound, and without any effort. He made his way to the kitchen, where he could hear the loud clanging of plates and cutlery, and there was the family, Michael, Alena and their Parents, Elizabeth and Kieran. All of them have got a pale complexion, and they had a wonderfully lush head of blond hair. Compared to me, they are royalty. He snickers to himself. ¡°Siris! What are you doing up!?¡± shouts Alena, ¡°you know you should still be in bed¡± as Alena rambles on about his safety, Siris spots Kieran and Elizabeth smile kindly at us, and Michael just shakes his head while snickering. He plead with his eyes for them to help him, but they walk away smiling. ¡°I¡¯m alright Alena, seriously I¡¯m fine¡± He says to her while smiling. She stops making a fuss of him, and looks up into this eyes ¡°You sure?¡± she asks. Siris looks into her deep emerald eyes, a little guilty feeling wells up inside him, but what can he say to not make him sound like a madman? ¡°It was quite a bad nosebleed, that¡¯s all.¡± She looks into his eyes, trying to find something, before settling for what he said being the truth. If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. He looks back into the room, the family that took him in, he smiles lightly. They¡¯re a good, normal and happy family, and I will protect that. A determined look flashes before his eyes, before he looks back at Alena; she was washing away the remnants of breakfast. Might as well help her, he walks to the sink and starts drying the wet cutlery and plates. There¡¯s nothing like a good, old fashioned cleaning. I see Alena smile as I joined her, and we settled into a peaceful atmosphere. No one talked, they didn¡¯t need to. Siris looks over to Alena again, nearly finished with the drying, she has a small smile on her face, and she looked like a goddess through the light of the soft, midday sunlight. I wonder what she is thinking? ¡do I tell him¡ peaceful¡ love hi¡ Siris backs away, shocked. What did her just hear? What was that? That was Alena¡¯s voice, but I didn¡¯t ¡®hear¡¯ it, it was¡ in my mind! Suddenly, he felt wetness on his lips, it was a blood trial, leading from his nose. Wow, isn¡¯t that Karma? Siris thinks too himself, before removing all the blood from his nose. He quickly finishes the dishes, and nearly sprints, before turning around and calling out in a shaky voice ¡°I¡¯m just going to the toilet¡± before making it to the bathroom in under 3 seconds. What is Happening? Now I¡¯m hearing voices? That fucking crystal has fucked me over. He breathes in slowly, letting all his thoughts calm down. He looks at himself in the mirror, and talks to himself, ¡° I need to get to the bottom of this.¡± Chapter 3 Guys I know I have been slow, and it is because of work and I am sorry about that. But write to me your ideas on what should happen, I¡¯ve got plenty of ideas but I do not know which one will be the most effective, also, a little spoiler but if it helps in any way, he won¡¯t be stuck on earth. Chapter 3 Siris¡¯ reflection stared back, his eyes, dazed, showing glimpses of confusion and anxiety. He leant his arm against the wall, and sighed. His daze cleared, a determined look appeared, and in his eyes his indomitable will could be seen. ¡°I¡¯m going to find out what is happening to me¡± he spoke softly, but it held his fierceness and determination, reverberating through the bathroom like a wave. He walked through the gigantic house with a purpose. He was in his room again, looking for a notebook that would help him study¡himself. He cringed at that thought, and feeling the hatred and anger welling up inside him, he dismissed that thought completely, and instead thought on survival. A cold look flashed in his eyes, and a calming sensation flowed throughout him. He found the notebook, and with it, his ¡°survival¡± would be made easier. So, he started, let¡¯s think on what¡¯s going on. 1. My senses have been upgraded 2. A glass moved towards me when I wanted it 3. I heard voiced in my mind 4. I should be dead, but I don¡¯t have a scar nor whatever that crystal was to give me any help He stopped writing, he looked thoughtful after this, and a reluctant yet a motivated look passed through his face, and out of nowhere (John Cena came in ;)) he cut his wrist with his nail. Deep, scarlet coloured blood flowed without reserve out of his wrist; its luminosity rivalled that of the stars. He moved quickly, placing a bowl under his arm, whilst he tried to suck some of the blood back into his body. There was pain, but Siris didn¡¯t flinch or notice the deep and focused pain of having his arteries sliced. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. But in front of his eyes, the wound closed in a blink of an eye, the surrounding blood sucked in and sealed, like it never happened. Siris sat there, in silence, sweating bullets. This is too unreal, he thought, a major injury healed in a matter of a second? Be realistic! He shouted within his mind, this is a world of science, not magic. He couldn¡¯t accept what just happened, because he realised now, that after slicing his artery and it being healed, he felt no weakness, no flaws within his self, and his blood flowing fluidly, already back to regular levels. He looked at the blood-soaked bowl, even with it being healed within a second, he managed to fill a large bowl of his blood, and usually, for Siris, that amount would have been recovered in a couple of days. But if it only took seconds, then he would never bleed out, and if all wounds healed at this rate. The realisation came to him, I would essentially be¡ immortal, I couldn¡¯t be killed because nothing can kill me that fast. He stared with dead eyes into his bowl of blood, and with a blank mind, swirled his fingers into his own blood. Siris came out of his daze, and seeing the blood, said to him I need to get rid of that. So he could do the only thing without being suspicious to anybody, drank his own blood. The metallic taste filled his senses, and he quickly gulped his blood down. As he finished the bowl, he looked over at his ¡®research notes¡¯, one mystery down, he lapped the last drop of blood up. And a thousand more to go. Authors note Sorry guys that chapters haven''t been coming through i have exams to prepare for bu its only this week so expect a couple of chapters next week. sorry guys about that but wish me luck! Chapter 4 The sun illuminates the chilling early hours of the morning, the frozen dew glistens like diamonds. Winter was slowly making its way towards town, and a cold wisp of air travelled to the body of Siris, waking him. He opened his eyes, instantly awake, checking the room that he his familiar with to see if there is any difference, darting his eyes about. After checking, he stretched, nimbly, like a cat, and yawned, showing his pearly white teeth. He got out of bed, and walked downstairs, he could already smell breakfast being cooked, and even when he limits his senses, the aroma of the food permeated the house. The family were early to get up, as Siris came down, he met the family. Alena and Elizabeth were in the kitchen, making the breakfast. ¡°Helloooo¡± he said to them all. ¡°Hi¡±, ¡°Hey¡± ¡°Helooo haha¡±, ¡°yo¡± were the responses that he got. He moves to the sofa and lays down, peacefully. He feels a presence behind him, and without looking, calls to her ¡°Alena, what are you doing?¡± playful suspicion in his voice. ¡°Oh, all the time, he knows!¡± said Alena from behind him, giggling whilst pouting. She had her hands on her hips looking over him Siris exaggeratedly smells the air ¡°I can smell something burning¡±. Alena jumps in fright and runs back down to the kitchen, Siris laughs to himself, and can hear Michael laugh as well. ¡°So¡±, he begins ¡°what are we going to do today?¡± Directing it to everybody, they all had thoughtful looks on their faces, until Alena, with her head popping out from around the wall said. ¡°Why don¡¯t we head to the mall? We need to get new stuff anyway¡±, we all smiled then, as we knew that Alena doesn¡¯t want to go there just for us, she is a shopaholic, to the extreme, we all knew that. Her father sinks his head into his hands ¡°and what do you want this time Alena?¡± exhaustion can be heard in his voice. Alena twirls a strand of her hair around her finger ¡°nothing much¡± she replies, with a small smile. Michael patted his father¡¯s back reassuringly, knowing when his sister said that, it was a lot more than people would think. In Michaels head, he can hear the sound of money disappearing, ceasing to exist. Siris made a small chuckle at the families expense, living along with them, he already knows of Alena¡¯s misleading comments about shopping. At least she didn¡¯t say it was gonna be a big shop like two months ago remembering the amount of money the family had to pay, buying a casino would be along the same lines of money that was used. And what it was used on? A bit on the house, for more defensive capabilities, but most of it was used on¡ a pair of earrings for Alena¡¯s sixteenth birthday. The men in the house shivered at the same time, most likely thinking the same thing. Siris sighed deeply, moving towards the keys to one of the cars outside ¡°come on then, the sooner we get this done, the better for all of us¡±. Alena had a frustrated look on her face, whereas the rest of the family sighed deeply, and walked with Siris as an agreement. Because of the technological advancements, cars these days were more high-tech than most houses. Although they had invented hover cars, it used too much fuel to power. But the ones on the ground were the best, the fastest speed on the ground, smooth control, and can be auto-piloted so no worries about driving this monster. But Siris actually drives it, with no autopilot. At the moment, the family looks calm, but they weren¡¯t like this when he first drove this car, they held onto dear life, because the autopilot was always the safest in driving, but so did Siris. But that¡¯s changed now; they are no longer sceptical about his driving. Siris loved this car ever since he first saw it, with an elegant look, and the calm colour of a shiny grey. Siris was immediately hooked with it. undefined He started the engine, shifted the gears, and speed off into the distance. They arrived at the mall, in a record breaking 5 minutes, as they lived 30 miles away from it, that was fast. Siris pocketed the keys as he got out, and was immediately set upon by Alena ¡°we¡¯re gonna go now!¡± she drags Siris away by his arm, he looks over to Michael, pleading, but he looks away, smiling. He betrayed me! Siris clenched his fists in fake anger. He couldn¡¯t help but notice the warm feeling he had on his arm, and noticed that his arm was completely hidden away in the Alena¡¯s ¡®Canyon¡¯. Siris, innocent to what is happening, blushed deeply. Alena unfortunately noticed, and, knowing why he was blushing, teased him more with her canyon, with a mischievous grin on her face. Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator. He looked away in embarrassment, and saw people looking at them in an angry way, mostly from men, he immediately knew why, knowing that he probably reeks with a ¡®lovey-dovey couple¡¯ image. Then his embarrassment rose to new levels as Alena whispered seductively ¡°come on then Siris¡± and blew on his ear. His mind now completely gone because of that, Siris didn¡¯t notice where Alena was taking him, he didn¡¯t notice even with all the clothes and accessories that were in front of him, not until he was made to come into a dressing room with her. ¡°Wait¡± he shook his head in confusion, ¡°where am I?¡± he looks around, and to his astonishment sees the bare back of Alena, Siris became mesmerised at the sight, that pearly white skin with no blemishes, and the softest skin that could ever be created. But he quickly came to his senses and tried to escape from the dressing room, but Alena quickly got hold of him, and with a strength surprising him, pulled him back in. He was turned around to face Alena, and another mesmerising sight came, with silky stocking on, Alena was wearing lingerie. As before, his mind was blank from the sight, and a little drool flowed out form the corner of his mouth. With a small, cute smile on, Alena spun around, showing every asset that men would die for. ¡°Do you like it?¡± her voice quiet, almost shyly. Siris¡¯ mind couldn¡¯t take it anymore, he had no control anymore ¡°uhhhhhhhhhhhh¡± came out of his mouth, Alena chuckled softly before moving over, and hugging him. Shock ran through his body, stimulation was at an all-time high, with his last shred of consciousness; he controlled the reaction of one thing on his body. His body twitched everywhere, Alena¡¯s head rested on his chest, smelling him, she smiled, before moving off him ¡°can a lady get changed in peace?¡± her eyebrow raised questionably. Siris gave a small nod of his head, before walking slowly and stiff through the door, and waited outside. He stood there for a time, unable to think of anything, he could feel the many stares he was getting from the other females within the store, and some awareness came to him then, and he looked around. And he hung his head in embarrassment, as he was in an only-girls store called Lingerie Paradise, a very popular store for lovers. What was that? Why did she show me her b..body his cheek became a scarlet red, thinking of Alena. What does this mean? All his life he has been fighting, killing. So of course he is innocent to the advances of a woman. Alena finally comes out of the dressing room, and pays for the ¡®clothes¡¯. All the while Siris stood there with his arm trapped between tow melon sized marshmallows, the receptionist had a small smile on her face as she handed the bag full of items to Alena, and they start walking again. Alena¡¯s head rested on Siris¡¯ shoulder, her face clearly showed contentment. With her cheeks a soft pink in excitement, they walked for a while. Everything was fine, they got some snacks, bought even more clothes, and even watched a movie, and today was truly a ¡®date¡¯ even if Siris didn¡¯t have any knowledge about such things. But today would start a drastic change for Siris¡¯, and the worlds lives forever, for Siris saw someone he never wanted to meet again, a tracker from the Organisation, from the scientists. He quickly pulled Alena with him to hide behind one of the many shops¡¯ corner. ¡°Siris? What going o-¡° he quickly put his hand over her mouth, and trained his eyes on the tracker, he was currently talking to a shop keeper, looking friendly, dressed up in what a typical tourist would wear. Ending his business with him, he moved off to the exit of the mall. For a couple of minutes, Siris still had his eye on the tracker, seeing where he was going, seeing if his task was important with the quickness of his walk before finally relaxing. Alena quickly removed Siris¡¯ hand away from her mouth, ¡°what was that about Siris?¡± her face concerned for Siris. He looked into Alena¡¯s eyes, seeing the purity and the care she had for him, but he couldn¡¯t tell anyone, especially her. He can¡¯t endanger anyone who he cares about. He quickly shook his head ¡°sorry Alena, but don¡¯t worry¡± he faked laugh ¡°nothing serious¡±. His eyes wandered towards the exit, and the will to protect his family dwelled within his eyes.
