《Tabula Venatus》 Prologue : The night he born On a silent night at a mansion an heavy atmosphere covered a certain room where three people waiting worriedly. Sillian Draunlass the man that seems like in the middle between fourthy and fifthy years old stand facing the window with his hand gripping his staff tightly showing how uneasy he is. ¡° Relax father, she will be okay ¡° ........................ ¡° Really father, even though it was you who calmed me when i was waiting for my son to be born at that time why are you the one who worry the most now ? ¡° A man with blonde hair said that beside him to make him calmer, the man with blonde hair is actually his son-in-law Jullius Boltin who married his daughter and now has 2 children. At the time when his son is about the be born it was indeed Sillian who calmed him and said that everything will be okay and his child will be born healty. This silent night is the night where Cire will giving birth to her child, Cire is Sillian¡¯s youngest daughters. In place of her husband who is already passed away three months ago, Sillian and his another daughter Anna came to Cire¡¯s mansion ten days ago to be by her side until her child is born. ¡® why are they so worry ? ¡¯ with uneasy face Jullius¡¯s said it in his mind while looking at another person in ther room, his wife Anna, a beautiful woman with silver hair who sit on a chair while holding a cup of warm tea, the tea however is still full, it seems that she is too anxious to drink the warm tea. In truth Jullius also fell worry about Cire, but their level of worry is clearly different. ¡° This is different Jullius, i don¡¯t know why but all i can feel is just uneasyness, you feel the same too right Anna ? ¡° Anna gives a nod after hearing her father. Anxiety is the only thing that reflected on her blue eyes, ten days ago either Anna nor her father had this kind of uneasy feeling but then again this night is different, totally different. ¡° Anna you looks pale, drink the tea it will help you ¡° To make them calmer is the only thing he can do. If only that man is here right now perhaps the situation won¡¯t be like this, the father of the child that soon will be born. Grief can be felt when Jullius thinking about his friend who will never be able to see his child. With a lot of mixed emotions, the silent night continues Minutes after minutes of waiting until finally, it can be heard. The baby¡¯s cry. The three who heard it show a great relieve face, Anna stand up from the chair and put the warm tea to a table beside her then walk to the room where Cire is. Anna knock the door and asking if she can enter the room. But there is no respond on the other side, Anna knock again. After a while the door is opened by one of the maids who helped the labor, but strangely the maid show no smile on her face but an apologetic face followed by tears that slowly fall. ¡° what happen ? ¡° While asking with low voice to the maid Anna can see her sister lying on the bed, with her right hand she touch the cheek of her newborn son. A smile can be seen on Cire¡¯s face but her eyes are closed. ¡° Cire ? ¡± Walking to her sister Anna tried several times to call her, but Cire is not respoding Anna at all. ¡° Cire you did it, your son look at him it¡¯s your son Cire ¡° .................... ¡° Does.. does Cire get exhausted from the labor and fell unconscious? ¡° That is the worst thing that Anna can think, no maybe it sound wrong but that is actually the best think Anna wish for. The uneasyness feeling that gone for a moment is now come back and getting worst with her sister body who is getting colder, Anna wish that she only fell unconscious. I¡¯m looking forward to see you in the future ¡° Chapter 1 : Three years after that night ~ ANNA¡¯S P.O.V ~ It has been three years since Nexan become our new family member, i¡¯m so grateful that my family can accept him whole heartedly. I introduced Nexan to my children Alvin and Alice, they was confused at first when i said that Nexan will be their new brother. They are good kids they said that they understand and will accept Nexan as their brother, i¡¯m so proud of them. The one who accept him first is Alice, back then she was only three years old, girls in her age shouldn¡¯t be understand some emotional things but when i explained what happened to Cire she show a sad and sympathetic face not only for Cire but also for Nexan. Alice, she is a smart girl she can easily learn anything. When she mastered how to read she burried her self in pile of books, she also easily mastered the basic magic just from the book that she read. She is now six years old girl, she started to attend school a year ago and up until now the teachers are always praised her for her intelligence. Maybe calling her as a genius won''t be exaggerated. She like learning about magic the most, sometimes i helped her with her study about magic and even though i¡¯m not as skilled as Cire i can use magic up to advance level. Her brother however is more insterested in the art of sword, just like his father he prefer one-handed sword style. Of course he never wield a real sword before, every time he praticed he always use a wooden sword and a wooden shield. Some times he asked for a real one to pratice but i forbid him it¡¯s still to early for him after all, the same goes for Alice, up until now i always forbid her for carelessly use a combat magic, but where did she learned about combat magic ? the school shouldn¡¯t teach about magic in the first third grades let alone a combat magic. Did she also learned it by her self ? Right now we are on the backyard of the mansion, Jullius who working with my father got a free time so we decide to spent the time together in the backyard. We actually wanted to go for a picnic but Jullius¡¯s free time is short so we had no choice, and we can¡¯t afford to waste this opportunity to spent the day together since Jullius always bussy with piles of work. Jullius and Alvin is practicing sword play while Alice, Nexan, and I watching from a distance. Jullius is a skilled with sword and shield by the way. He is a former knight commander who served the kingdom for years, he is an excellent warrior but because one great war in the past he recieved a fatal injury and cannot longer participate in actual battle anymore. That war weakened his heart, so when ever he got too worked up he will receive a painful heart attack. Even in some sword practice with Alvin just like now, i always got worried about his heart but he always said ¡® it¡¯s okay i just want to spent some times with my son, that won¡¯t kill me ¡® he said it so easily don¡¯t he know that i reallt worried about him ? but if the person him self said that it is okay for him then i will believe him. Beside me who is sitting on the ground is Alice who showing her magic to Nexan, it¡¯s a simple magic called [light ball]. Just like it¡¯s name, it¡¯s a magic to create a ball of light. She created the [light ball] with both of her palm. The funny thing is that she created the [light ball] then she dispelling it on purpose making it like a popped bubble, i don¡¯t even know that you can make it to become like that. ¡° So Nex, do you want to see it again ? ¡° ¡° Yes Alice one more time ¡° For some reason Alice and Alvin sometimes address Nexan by Nex, the first time Alice heard Nexan¡¯s name she said that it¡¯s a weird name and i scolded her for that, it¡¯s not good to insult some one name especially your own family. And in my opinion Nexan is a pretty good name even Alvin agreed but maybe because of Alice¡¯s influence, sometimes we also called Nexan just by Nex ¡° Hihihi... as you wish, then look at this ¡° Alice strated to chant the magic in low voice eventhough she can do it chantless since she already mastered the magic. ¡° Lumos ¡° Hmmm that strange, i don¡¯t remember about that last line in the [light ball] chant. Ah i just noticing it now, why did she always chanting the last line in loud voice while she chanting the other line with very low voice ? While i¡¯m questioning that to my self, a ball of light appears from her palm hands, a bright blue light illuminates the surrounding area. Nexan¡¯s silver hair slightly become bluish because of it. Speaking of which, just like their father both Alvin and Alice has blode hair while i¡¯m alone with silver hair. But now with Nexan around i¡¯m no longer the only one who has silver hair in this house anymore, this trivia thing is somehow makes me happy. ¡° What do you think Nex, it¡¯s beautiful right ? the ball doesn¡¯t have any heat but somehow the light gives you the feeling of warmess¡° Alice pull her hands down letting the ball floating in the air, Nexan looking at the ball with wide eyes and opened mouth he seems really like the magic. ¡° Beauti¡ª ah... it¡¯s disappear again ! ¡° Nexan raise his arms to touch the ball but before he can touch it Alice mischievously dispelled the magic again. She shouldn¡¯t tease Nexan too much, but seeing Nexan¡¯s surprised face is cute. ¡° Hey Nex what happened to you ? why are you making that face ? ¡° Alvin said that with a light laugh he probably saw what happen but still asked it nevertheless, it seems the sword practice is over it end faster than what i expected. ¡° Are you okay ? is there something wrong with your heart ? ¡° I asked while offering a glass of water to Jullius, i hope there is nothing bad happen to his heart. ¡° ah don¡¯t worry it¡¯s not because i feel sick of something it just... ¡° I¡¯m looking at the direction that Jullius is looking at, there is a man standing. I promised father that i won¡¯t raise Nexan under a big lie, and so i asked father to let him call me by ¡®mother¡¯ and let him belive that i am his mother even if it was just for a while until he can understand the whole things. And since then tons of work submitted to me, it¡¯s not like i¡¯m not grateful it just because if i can choose i prefer to be in the field battling with criminals rather than in the office battling with papers. I can see tension, anxiety, confusion mixed in one expression. Dear Draunlass and Boltin families. I believe that you will notice who is the sender of this letter from the seal on the envelope, but let me say it anyway. It¡¯s Miranda Corsuel. First of all let me apolozies to Jullius for disturbing your time with your family. I know you rarely got a day off but the things that i¡¯m gonna tell you is really important. I don¡¯t want to make any ruckus so i sent this letter to Sillian so he can read it and pass it to you, then you can pass it to your wife.
Ughh... it really is from her, and Sillian i believe you read the letter as well so it will be great if you don¡¯t willingly dance on the palm of her hand and disturbed me. And please don¡¯t casually watch other people lifes, don¡¯t you know about privacy ? But well she mentioned about my rare day off, so i hope Sillian will take a note from it. [tr][tr]
Second is i know that this is rather late, but still i want to say sorry about what happened to Cire, please accept my condolences. Now for the main topic. Recently i saw so many nightmare in my dreams, you all know who i am so that¡¯s nightmares is probably not just a mere nightmares. I decided to use my ablity to see through time into the future. I saw many good things in it as well as the cruel things that will happen to the entire world.

Why you telling me this you ask ? Simple, because everythings i saw in my visions are focused on the three children on your house.

First of all let me tell you about these children. Because from my visions, i realize something about them These children are not normal children. Your first child Alvin, he will be a blessed child. Even though i said that the truth is, I don¡¯t know what god that will bless him, i don¡¯t know when that will happen, and i don¡¯t know how that can be happen . My vision about it is blurred and every time i pushed my self to see it more clearly i got fainted. I know it sound like a good things to be chosen by a god but the truth is, it¡¯s not a good things. Let me explain to you then. After i got my visions i decided to start observing her as well, and what shocked me is that i can already feel a god¡¯s fragment inside of her. I tried to saw to her past and her future but i found nothing, it makes me confused for a while until i finally realize it. She has been blessed even before she was born. But just like Alvin¡¯s case i¡¯m unable to see what god that blessed Alice, of course it possible that they has the same god that blessed them. And the last, It¡¯s about Nexan, he is a special child from the very begining, i believe you know why. He won¡¯t be a blessed child and i don¡¯t fell any fragment of god inside his body either. But just like his father, he possessed a great amount of power. And just like his father, he¡¯s very complicated. I will say it again, he is not and won¡¯t be a blessed child and he don¡¯t has any of god¡¯s fragment inside of him but at the same time he has the similiar aura. It irritated me when i think about it because i can¡¯t see any light of it. These three children along with many people in the world, they will affect this world greatly. This is absurd !!! I thought that as i silently read the content of the letter, the more i read it the harder for me to believe it. I can understand if it about Nexan, but why did she said all of that about my children ? Blessed child ? Fragment of god ? and what with this prophecies ? I can feel my self unable to stand anymore, i let my self fall into a chair and keep processing about the content in this absurd letter. ¡° What do you think about it ? ¡° ¡° I- i don¡¯t know ¡° I now understand why Sillian having such expression. Miranda Corsuel is a great oracle, she is famous with her ability to see through time whether it is the future or even the past. She helped with guiding the hero in the great war three years ago which bring peace to this whole continent. But what she wrote in this letter said that there will be no peace after that ? ¡° Many wars and big events will occur and the children will be part of it ? i can¡¯t believe this bullshit ¡° I don¡¯t want to believe it, i really don¡¯t. ¡° Neither of us want to believe it Jullius ¡° ..................... ¡° About Alvin, do you think that Lord Andresta will bless him ? ¡° Lord Andresta as know as the god of judgement, the god of Excidium faith. From i the very beginning i¡¯ve become the believer of Excidium. And now to think that my son will be blessed by him... isn¡¯t... isn¡¯t that great ? To be chosen by the god you worship and serve him as his champion or even become the god¡¯s tool to reach his goal. Isn¡¯t that what we as the believer of him should become from the very beginning ? However with only the two of us we can¡¯t reach anything, we arguing about telling the high priest from Excidium church about the letter but at the same time we can¡¯t let them know about the content of the prophecies. If we give them Miranda¡¯s letter they will believe it without second thought, but if we just tell them that my children is and will be blessed they will think i¡¯m crazy or that i dream too big. And the worst part of it is the fact that we can¡¯t get in contact with Miranda at all. We don¡¯t know where she is and how she sent this letter. I let a heavy breath out of my mouth as i thinking about this day. This day is should be the day where i can enjoy my time with my family, resting my self from the work as the duke¡¯s consul. But instead of it, i got my self shocking fact about my children and the burden of a prophecies about the entire world. Chapter 3 : One of Senas days ~Sena¡¯s P.O.V~ My name is Sena. I am a maid that serves boltin family, well i actually served lady Anna and Draunlass family but since lady Anna got married with master Jullius i followed her and serves under the boltin family.
