《Blue Domain》 Divine Spirit Beast Legend has it that there once was a God that descended to mortal realm after a battle to the death. The legend says he landed and perished at the Afgor forest of the Emerald continent. A young adventurer is on a journey to the Afgor forest. The Afgor forest is located at the eastern most border of the Emerald continent. Tiny beads of sweat can be seen all over the youthful face of this adventurer. "I never thought there existed a thing that could scare me more than my old man" He thought to himself. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" Woyin said to himself as he entered the forest. While wondering through the thick forest, making his way deeper and deeper into the forest, he encounters several types of beast who call this part of the world home. For the most part he avoids them and silently continues making his way deeper into the forest. While moving, he notices something strange with his surrounding. He notices the absence of other beasts, he slowly looks around and immediately sees a strange uneven oval object by a tree. He walks over to inspect this object and realizes it''s the remains of a devoured beast. He ponders for a bit, and suddenly makes a distressed face. "Cambin" he says softly. While he looks around. Cambin''s are a special type of beast only found in the Afgor forest. Cambin''s are predatory carnivorous plants. They utilize a variety of special poisons, and devour their targets after they are incapacitated. What''s most frightening about these beast isn''t their poisons, but the fact that they are very hard to kill. Just as realizes he is in danger, he hears a whistling noise. Suddenly the branches of the surrounding trees, or what he originally assumed were trees, started moving. He immediately dashes to the west to try and escape, but was stopped on his track as he falls. He noticed he was stopped a root of a nearby tree that curls round his right ankle. He immediately uses the dagger at his waist to cut off the root and continues running. He notices a thick brown fog in front of him. He knows that this is no ordinary fog, but instead a poisonous fog created by the Cambin. "How large is the area this Cambin controls?" Woyin says to himself. Cambin''s are solitary beast, so he knows there wouldn''t be another one for miles. He holds his breath and continues running through the fog. While running he started feeling dizzy. Rapidly, the feeling kept increasing to a debilitating level. As he was about to collapse he noticed a river bank, down a hill, to his side. With every strength he could muster, he drags himself, while crawling, to the edge of the hill and finally pushes himself off the hill. As he rolled off the hill he breath a sigh of relief. When the dust settled, his body could be seen close to the edge of the river. Before he completely passed out, he noticed a bright blue silhouette of a wolf like beast. "I guess this is how it ends for me" Woyin says to himself. **** 2 weeks passes. A young man covered in dust could be seen laying in front of a cave. "Uhhhh" the young man says as he desperately gasps for air. Finally, he opens his eyes. The young man sees the boundless sky. For a moment he questioned if he had passed away, but soon realized he was still in the land of the living. "What happened?" Woyin questioned himself, as he tries his best to faintly remember anything. Soon afterwards he gives up on understanding his prior ordeal. A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. "I guess I should thank my stars im still alive" Woyin gathered what strength he had left to sit up in an upright manner. He drags himself to sit in front of a large rock beside the cave. Suddenly he felt a menacing presence emanating from the cave, he immediately reaches for his waist to get his dagger. He soon realized his dagger was no where to be found. With a distressed look on his face, he kept staring at the cave. A giant blue wolf-like beast slowly walked out of the cave. As he kept staring, he was consumed by a deep feeling of familiarity. He quickly remembered the silhouette he saw before he collapsed. "A spirit beast" Woyin said to himself as he continued staring at the beast. Spirit beasts are a different kind of beast. They were rare and occasionally had the ability to be one with humans that had an affinity with their spirit. It was common knowledge that spirit beast could never be tamed. They had devastating powers that when unleashed could cause serious havoc to all life within its vicinity. As Woyin stared at the beast, his normally brown pupils turned blue. He soon realized there was an unfamiliar energy swelling up within his body. With quick wits, he immediately knew he was one with this beast. "My Divine spirit" He said out loud. His conjecture was right. He had indeed become one with the spirit beast that dwelled within that cave. He immediately got up and slowly walked towards the beast. Starring at this 7 feet tall and 12 feet long wolf like creature, he threw out his palm to try and touch the spirit beast. To his absolute delight, he touched the mane of the beast. He noticed some blue-like particles surrounding this beast. All of a sudden the beast was no longer within his sights. He immediately turned around and saw the beast on top of the he rock he was resting on. "Whooooo whoooo" the beast loudly howled. Woyin was originally startled, but soon composed himself. Almost as if the beast was directly speaking in a language he could directly understand, he somewhat knew what the beast had said. Again, the beast disappeared from his sight, but this time Woyin couldn''t tell where the beast had gone. After a couple of seconds, "Thank you " Woyin said out loud. Woyin knew the beast had became one with him, and had granted him a domain to its power. Woyin immediately made way down the hill the cave was located. His mission this time was to safely get back to his hometown. During the journey back, Woyin found his dagger, which gave him great delight. This particular dagger was a gift specially crafted by his father, the king of the kingdom of Songhai. As Woyin journeyed through the thick forest, he specifically avoided the rejoin where he encountered the Cambin. He encountered countless lower beasts, which possessed little threat to him. He also used the opportunity to familiarize himself with his new found power. He noticed that the spirit energy within him greatly increased his speed, it also increased his vitality, as his injuries all quickly healed after he had gotten injured. ******************************************************************************** Thanks for reading. I am currently trying to decide what stories to focus on. If you think I should go on with this one, please let me know. Chapter 2 ------ The Return -------- Guarding the walls and gate of a city stood two well built men. Their domineering posture was evident of their strength. The walled city of Wuhei, was the capital of the newly founded empire of Songhai in the Emerald continent. 20 years ago, a single man set out on a journey to seize his world, and after countless battles and victories he founded a new nation that could be regarded as the new superpower of Emerald continent. The founder is known as the great master of chains. He wields countless iron chains, like spider webs, that reside within his body. He went round the Emerald continent conquering each tribal national on his path. He is rumored to be the strongest person to have ever been born to the Emerald continent. Along the road that leads to the walled city of Wuhei, a silhouette of a young man could be seen from a distance. The young man had a charismatic walk to him, almost as if the heavens and the earth were under his domain. His charisma was betrayed by his current appearance. His attire was worn out and hugely disfigured. After about a minute, the appearance of the young man could be made out. "Prince Woyin" One of the guards yelled. Suddenly both guards dropped their right knee to the ground, in a posture of absolute respect. Woyin casually walked over to them, and tapped the left shoulder of the guard to his right. "Doye have you forgotten that they are no royalties in this kingdom." Woyin said in a reprehensive manner. "Did my father notice I was gone?" Woyin asked with a distressed look on his face. "My prince, you have been away for a month and half. Even the dead would notice your absence." The guard responded. After hearing that, Woyin continued walking towards the palace. He was a bit troubled because he did not know what to expect of his father, the king. In his view, his father was an odd character which even him, his son, could not understand. His father, had the temper of tiger and the compassion of water. A rather odd individual that always seemed to do whatever he wanted without any thought of the consequences. Woyin casually strolled to the entrance of the palace, his eyes were desperately scanning the entire place almost as if he was expecting something to happen. This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. "Woyin" An angry voice called out. "Where have you been for the past month" The voice continued and increased in intensity. "Father, I am a man now.... " Woyin was saying, before he was interrupted by a shooting sickle connected to a chain. With quick reflexes, he was able to draw his blade and deflect the chain attack. "You think you are a man just because you have bedded some women? " responded while casually walking towards Woyin. "I am going to test your manhood" He continued. While this affair was transpiring, none of the guards seemed to pay any attention to them. This kind of father and son standoff was pretty regular in the palace. "Don''t worry father, I won''t disappoint you this time around" Woyin responded with a smile on his face. "Oh is that so. Let me see how much you''ve grown" the king responded, while simultaneously sending three sickled chains to attack Woyin. With an overconfident smile Woyin casually walked pass the chains. This was no ordinary movement, Woyin used his divine walk, a skill he discovered he could use after his contract with the divine beast, to accurately dodge the attacks while moving forward. "Oh.." the king said with a hint of surprise on his face. This facial expression quickly turned to smile. "Devine contract" he said while smiling. "I guess I''ll take it up a notch" he continued. After the king uttered those words, countless chains appeared out of his abdominal region, and started dangling in mid air. The chains seemed endless and unrestrained. The king had the face of a beast that was about to devour his prey. Chapter 3 ------------- Bakko ---------------- Walking slowly towards Woyin, the king had a sinister look to him, almost as if he had forgotten his relationship with his son and replaced it with complete exasperation. ¡°Shuyin!!¡± A loud voice rang in the courtyard. Hearing someone call his father by his name, Woyin had an unrestrained smile. He knew there was only one person in the entire kingdom who could do that, and with the presence of this particular person, this fight would not go on for long. Woyin was originally afraid his father could take it too far and hospitalize him. This wouldn''t be the first his father had done so. ¡°We need to discuss something of great importance¡± The voice continued. ¡°Uncle¡± Woyin bowed in respect. Although Woyin addressed this person as his uncle, they were not related by blood. This man was the second in command of the entire kingdom of Songhai. He was a highly respected warrior and a clever politician. Rumor has it, that he is the real ruler of the kingdom, while the king was the power figurehead that held everything together. ¡°Bakko, can this wait for a couple more minutes? I need to give this youthful son of mine a good beating.¡± The king responded. ¡°No, it cannot wait. And besides, Woyin is no longer a child. You should let him adventure the world like we did his age.¡± Bakko responded. Bakko had a very good relationship with the king. Back when they were youths, Bakko was the sworn prince of the tribal state of Songhai. He had gone out hunting at a nearby forest. He was accompanied by two guards. Today, the goal was to hunt for wild titanic boar. These beasts are usually found at deeper sections of any forest with thick vegetation. The titanic boar got its name from the fact that it closely resembles a boar in looks, but great outstrips the boar in size. They usually grow as tall as 7 feet in height and 15 feet in length, and can weigh up to a 8000 pounds in size. As the party of three made their way deeper into the forest, they picked up on a boar''s trail. They slowly followed the trail to the banks of a river. To their surprise, they encountered one that seemed a little carefree. The boar was lazily drinking water from the river. Bakko and his group got in position to attack the boar. Both guards aimed their bows at the titanic boar and waited for bakko to give the order to shoot. ¡°This is a little odd¡± Bakko thought to himself. ¡°I have never encountered a titanic boar that is this carefree¡± Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on the original website. Usually, most animals in the forest are always wary of their surroundings and would always stare around to check for incoming dangers. This particular titanic boar seemed a little over confident, but Bakko thought nothing much of it. Raising his right and pointing at the boar, Bakko gave the order to shoot the boar. The guards shot their straight at the titanic boar. The arrow, aimed perfectly at the boar, followed a clear path to the boar. ¡°clank¡± the arrows were stopped dead on their tracks. It was though the skin of this particular titanic boar was made out metal. To everyone''s surprise, the titanic boar did not immediately run, but instead turned out to figure out where that arrow came from. It was almost as if this particular boar had clarity in its emotions, and right now it was angry. One of the guards rush out, from the nearby bush, this time around, his entire bow and arrow was on fire. This was a particular hallmark of the Songhai tribe. They had the ability to control some of the elements of nature. The guard was confident in his next shot, the force from the arrow added with fire would normally take down any foe. To everyone''s surprise, the same ¡°clank¡± sound was heard again and the boar was completely fine. Without a moment''s notice, the boar charged at the guard. Bakko staring at this could clearly tell that this wasn''t a regular titanic boar. He had never seen or heard of a titanic boar possessing such a strong skin, and even more importantly, having a single long horn. ¡°Get out of there¡± Bakko yelled, but it was too late, the boar had arrived in front of the guard. The boar stabbed the guard in the chest with its horn. Blood could be seen spilling from the guards body, like a fountain. Moments later, the guards body fell to the floor lifeless, he was dead. In a fit of rage, the second guard rush out. Like the guard before him, his bow and arrow was on fire. He shot successive arrows aiming for the eyes of the bow. He was like a mad dog full of anger. The boar had just killed his warrior brother. They had joined the Songhai¡¯s army when they were seven. They did everything together, even when they trained or fought, it was done together. Steadily progressing year by year. Just last year, they were both recognized by the army and given a special rank as the guards of the sworn prince. The boar quickly guarded the arrows by moving its body to the arrow''s path. after the barrage of arrows, the boar charged at the second guard. And without the opportunity to react, the boar killed the second guard in the exact same manner as it killed the first. Chapter 4 Brothers Never before has any text documented this kind of behavior in a boar. The way it killed the guards was something that scared Bakko. This beast was truly intelligent, and Bakko knew he had encountered something entirely different from a regular titanic Boar.Usually, animals could evolve on different forms, but they never entirely stray from their ancestral origins. This animal was different, although it had the appearance of a boar, it clearly was cunning and vicious. Bakko decided to wait patiently for the boar to leave, so he could retrieve the bodies of his guard. After about 15 minutes, the boar made its way to the forest. It slowly walked almost as if it was waiting for something. After Bakko confirmed the boar had gone, he walked to the corpse of his dead compatriots. He knelt on his right knee, and began offering a prayer on their behalf. ¡°Look behind you¡± A voiced echoed to the nearby Bakko who was praying. Bakko turned around, and to his surprise the boar that had killed his guards was casually walking towards his direction. From that moment, Bakko understood what had happened. The beast purposefully baited him out. It pretended to leave, and patiently waited for someone to come retrieve the body. While he thought about this, he started searching for who had warned him. Moments later, he located a person that was casually laying on a branch of a tree. Bakko was completely stunned, he and his guards had been there for quite a while, but they did not notice this person. Bakko immediately started running towards the tree were this person was, and started climbing the tree. ¡°Amazing judgment¡± the person sighed in praise. ¡°What the hell are you doing?¡± the person rebuked. Although he sounded somewhat angry, a trace of a faint smile could be seen on his face. ¡°The view from here is great. I hope you don''t mind my intrusion¡± Bakko responded quite cunningly. ¡°Of course I mind....¡± The person was say, before he was interrupted by the loud sound of the boar knocking down the tree. They both jumped from the tree and gracefully landed on the ground. From the moment Bakko spotted this man, he had decided to get this person involved. He could tell from the person''s composure, that he was his best chance for survival. "You stupid pig dare disturb my rest" the person cursed at the boar. After he said that, he began slowly walking towards the boar. In an instant, hundreds of chains could be seen appearing from his abdomen and hands. The chains were slowly dangling in the air. This scene left Bakko completely stunned. From the moment he was born to this point in time, he had never seen nor heard of anything like this. He quickly caught himself, and began to focus. His left fist slowly started to emit flames, his right fist started sparkle and finally lightning started dancing on his right fist. Usually, people of the Songhai tribe are born with the innate ability to control flames, but Bakko was different. He could control both flames and lightning to a high degree. This made Bakko a prominent member of the tribe, and further sealed his position as the future ruler of his tribe. Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. Bakko wouldn''t have to do much, because this stranger was like a crazed dog. He attacked the boar incessantly, not giving the beast a moment to retaliate. His chains were not strong enough to penetrate its skin, but they were more than enough to bound the beast in place. Having bounded the beast wit his chains, be lifted the beast and slammed it to the ground numerous times. He continued pounding the beast until it was devoid of all life. The beast had an almost perfect defense, but against that kind of barrage, there was nothing it could do but die. Bakko stared with a slacked jaw. The share brutality at which this person used in killing this beast was something to be reckoned with. At that moment Bakko knew he had to be on this person''s good side. ¡°That''s what you get for disturbing my peace¡± The person said as he slowly unbounded the beast. ¡°Thanks for saving me brother. My name is Bakko Suni¡± Bakko said in an effort to introduce himself. The person turned and stared at him, he had mixed feelings towards Bakko. On the one hand he was angry that Bakko brought him into his fight, on the other hand he was impressed at the level of prudence Bakko had displayed. He did not attack the beast mindlessly like the other two did, although he seemed stronger than them both, he decisively found a way to get him involved without asking. ¡°What are you doing in these parts of the forest?¡± The stranger finally responded. ¡°I came hunting titanic boars with my guards, but unfortunately I encountered this beast.¡± Bakko responded. The stranger stared with a somewhat confused expression. ¡°Then why did you attack this apex beast if you were not capable of killing it?¡± Bakko hearing this was stunned. Apex beast are usually alpha versions of a beast. Usually they are hardly ever spotted because of their preference to remain in deeper and more dense parts of a forest. Apex beast usually controls hordes of their fellow species and rarely ever make way to shallow parts. Seeing how Bakko was surprised, the stranger was getting a little irritated. ¡°Leave immediately before you bring me any misfortune¡± The stranger said. "You still haven''t told me your name brother" Bakko responded ignoring his earlier statement. "Its Shuyin. Now leave" He responded. From that moment on, this two will spend a lot of time together adventuring and later conquering the various warring tribes, then forming the the kingdom of Songhai using Bakko¡¯s tribe as the epicenter of the kingdom. ******************************************************************************************* Just hold on a little bit the story would move to the present.
