As you travel you noticed the calls of an animal, most similar to your own. You call to them yet you do not know how you did it. You use your sense to look all over your body and you see the hole in your body that opens and closes at your command. It opened, and closed, opened, and closed. It made noises when you willed it to, It engulfed your food, and you noticed you were getting fuller and fuller. It was like that hole in the bigger creature''s body. You see a smaller single-celled creature and you decided to eat it. It tasted like nothing but it made you more fuller than usual. The downside was your stomach was hurting from the new food source. You propel yourself in circles, hiding yourself from any dangers present while you choose. Which way do you go? The Seaweed Plains voices have stopped calling, giving off an aura most related to death. The trench was sorrowful, the sad songs of the deceased that slumber there. The deep sea gives off a scent of danger, you eliminate those three choices from your mind. You were torn between the Coral Garden, Near Surface and the Mountains behind you. Finally you follow to voices in the mountains, As you go you found a group of cells just like you, camouflaged individuals with tubes for propelling and mouths. You gave a cry of joy for finding companions but the majority goes to shush you. You are confused. Why would they need you to be quiet? The answer soon appears before you. A creature the size of a fist, on four stilt-like legs that resembles that of a spider. Connected to these legs, a simple egg. The egg was oval in shape, the shell rough and grey, like the stones on the mountain. It slowly walked forward, and when it reached the area where you had shouted out, the egg opened. Inside was a sac, and a yellowish liquid was fuming from it. At this point the others have started to run. You follow them in fear of the new creature and the creature''s shell started to cut the rocks apart, taking the pebbles, stones and sand into the sac, where it dissolved quickly. A few unlucky ones were caught in the stones and fell into the sac, their dying screams as they were dissolved alive could still be heard as you ran. This story originates from a different website. You understood that the energy inside of you could be used for something, but you couldn''t comprehend what it could do. All you know is that your body had used the energy to heal itself. You wake up from your daze and propel yourself toward the others. They were hiding inside of a small cave with a small opening. Everyone was frantic and running around but you noticed three interesting figures. they all had the base build of your species but each of them were different. one was a glistening purple, the next had shiny greenish skin, and the final one had a deadly aura around her. If you had looked at yourself you would have a blackish body that shined. You approach the four figures and wonder what they did to gain their current appearances. As you go out to get followers, something rams the cave that you are in. Around you people grow frantic and outside you see an organism with grey skin, it had a mouth with teeth and small fins. It kept bashing into the cave as it was to big to enter. Finally it broke in and started to gobble up many of the inhabitants. Behind the being you noticed many more of it''s kind swarming to get in. You see Purple go and spit out a gaseous mist and a few of the invaders have died. Green Shiny was fleeing for her life while Dead Aura was going to confront the intruders. As you were sleeping it appeared that several "indecent" young lads "played" with you and gave birth to your children. Time to get to business, You ordered for the passage to be guarded, Who knew what type of crazy shenanigans would happen in there. For now you had people test the waters on what they could eat. apparently your species were capable of consuming both plants and meat. For now the only source of food was seaweed that grew on the bottom of the cavern floor. Occasionally a few people went out to find some meat to feed the populace. Purple was poison body, anything it touches can corrode from poison at his will. Death Aura''s ability was shrouded in mystery, it is only known that a black cloud of mist would appear while he fought as it dissipates only he was left. Whilst my power was magic control, I could control magic at will. A red alert sign appeared and a roar escaped from the hole in the wall. We first got the creature into a little holding cell, enough room for it to run around but not enough for it to escape. I had people gather meat since it seems to be eating our people when it came through. I fed it many types of meat and learned it very much liked the meat of a fish that bloated itself up. I never understood why it kept doing that but we managed to drag it back to our home and feed it to the fish with string on body. (Wolf-fish hybrid) The fish with string on body at first tried to eat us whenever we tried to come to feed it but after a few feedings it learned to leave us alone and accept the food. Though when we tried to tame it we called it various names. Fish with string on it''s body, Being fro the Other Side, Beast with many strings. . But we needed to have a name for it. Lukeri, Wulfri, Leysuri, and Expeditions A name came to me, Lukeri, we are the Lukeri people and we are who we are. Individuals were Lukeren As for the hairy fish, I called them Wulfri, and Wulfren for singular because it kept going wulf when it got fed. Speaking of the Wulfren, we managed to tame it. It didn''t eat me when I went into the cage to feed it, and after time and time again of not attempting to eat me, I sent someone else in. the Wulfren growled but didn''t eat the person I sent in. Eventually we released it and it swam around, enjoying it''s freedom. Luckily it didn''t try anything but we kept a close eye on it. I gave the name Wargre to the Wulfren and took it for a stroll, to be exact an expedition to find out what dangers lied on the other side. Speaking of the normal warriors, since they do not have the necessary organs or circuits to manipulate mana so they strengthen their body. As a result, their bodies grew tougher, tentacles longer, more bursts from their propeller organs. Some even trained so hard that they underwent a variant evolution. We called them Leysuri. Wargre followed me to explore the area. We also grabbed some provisions in the event that we find a suitable place to settle. We would be in terrible danger if our only haven was assaulted and broken into. We set off upward into the darkness that beckoned toward us. First Colony: ??? We traveled far and wide but nothing came out of the darkness to oppose us. It seems like the alpha predators of this area appeared to be the Wulfri so meeting new species was out of the question. We did encounter some Wulfri here and there, but they gave us a wide berth. This gave us new insights on how the Wulfri are as a species. They ate meat of almost any being, They were anti-social normally only getting together to mate. They seemed to be able to sense where others of their kind are through scented areas and claw marks. The claw marks gave me an idea but since we were traveling I could only speculate it on a later date. it was truly an inconvenience on my part. Speaking of the amount of people we dragged with me, we would have to find a suitable place to rest. The many options in front of us were as followed. Ocean Sand, Dark Crevice, Rocky Hollows, Luminous Algea Forest, and Murky Waters with floating stones. I had sent scouts to check out each area and am waiting for them to comeback, As I waited however, I had the others in the group set up camp while Wargre and I checked the perimeters to ensure the safety of our group. Along one of the sides near the Rocky Hollows, I could see glowing yellow eyes, before it swam deeper into the hollow. The Ocean Sands kept shifting, shifting to much for the current to move them, but everything was quiet, to quiet at that. They have reported that each area had it''s own fair share of dangers. Ocean Sands: it was open so we could see if anyone came to attack, downside is they can also see us, and the sands contained concealed sand creatures. They could only find little information regarding them. Dark Crevice: the darkness was unsettling but it also felt cramped despite being opened, it has been confirmed that many species are living in there. Rocky Hollows: there are so many holes in the place that it is easily to mistake one of them for another. Glowing yellow eyes also follow you consitently making our people uneasy, as if something was waiting and ready to strike. Luminous Algea Forest: bright, so bright it almost made the scout blind, to make matters worse. There was a creature lurking in there with a hard shell, the shell reflected all types of light making it impossible to look at. Murky Waters: Water is full of rip-currents, easy to be blown away, no chance to recover. Floating stones inside of it makes it easy to damage the body even if encased in a hard shell. There was also the option to continue pushing forward but our guys were already exhausted it might push them to their limits but they could do it. I had to make another decision here, Where do we go for the best chance of survival? Our "friendly" neighbors We moved toward the luminous algae forest, it seemed like the safest place to be, if predators tried to come after us then they would first have to navigate through the blinding forest. Our species diluted and grew bigger to accommodate to the brightness but we eventually settled in the forest, we had used magic circles to bind together some of the algae to make a hollow. In the hollow we were able to organize it so that we could see outside, but any intruders would have a hard time finding us. because the magic circles we drew and maintained actually increased the brightness of the algae. One of the scouts came up to me, "Leader, we have witnessed hostiles near the perimeter, they seemed to be covered in a tough object, capable of blocking physical and reducing our magic" The hostiles the scout was talking about was a group of creatures that were smaller than us, though they were smaller of us, we could not easily defeat them. They easily took the attacks of the Leysuri like it was nothing and our magical attacks only showed minor effects to them. To make matters worst, their bodies were shiny, it almost blinded us. "Hmm, interesting, any news of other inhabitants?" "Only ones we have found are multi-leg shiny creature and a green creature that looks like the algae. I looked toward the algae that grew in long strands to make towering spires of matter. I had a few people examining it to see what it was made out of and how important it was. "What do you do" I wondered, the mysteries of the world continued to elude me, for now we had so much to learn and so much we don''t know. I had seen creatures with thin objects in their fins/hands/flippers but I did not understand the purpose of such, If only we could communicate. What should I do, the hostiles were hard to deal with, and the green creatures always ran away. The multi-legged creature seemed to be friendly but we have only met a few times and no words could be exchanged. Should I send someone to try to learn and communicate with them? Exert dominance with Wargre? Befriend them and trade? Keep them as slaves? what should I do with the species around us? Followed I sent people to try and learn the language of the surrounding people, as they went to make first contact and establish a connection, I had some of our guy grab some algae plants and seeds and Wargre hulled them as a few of us went back to home base. "I expect a full report on how the base is doing and progress with the natives of this area. I told one of my students and he saluted me with one of his tentacles and swam away. I sighed at the thought of leaving behind a barely established base, but I felt like they could handle it. The journey back was smooth, though the sensory runes I had placed were triggered by something.
