Humanity begin to build a simple lifestyle in the depths of the earth, he began using the basic tools that their ancestors used to rebuild society anew. it wasn''t for over a 400 years that humanity did not see the light of day. a small group of men and women left the caves they had called home for centuries, and begin to travel in groups on the earth once more.The earth had become silent and turned into its most natural form.The machines that littered the earth were still and silent. It wasn''t until the leader of this ragtag group of people stumbled upon the destroyed city that had once tried to save the earth, inside he had activated a mysterious light that woke all the machines.they begin to run rampant once more and the people saw them as demons as they saw no care for human life .The man was able to quickly figure out a way to defend his people from the machines and was named King by his followers. Eventually he created a new kingdom that was built in the ruins of the Savior city. On the far edge of this kingdom was a small village that was an outpost for the Kingdom they provided metal and other ancient ores that littered the ruins nearby. Unknowingly they began to dig towards something that would change the history of the entire kingdom. Thus begins our story as the life of the two children of the chief would soon find out that not all creatures made of metal are evil. Author''s note Hey JunkMayor here this is my first novel I would really like if you guys gave me good feedback I don''t really know how to start this off but I''ve had this story in my head for a long time and I thought I would start to put it down on paper . I know of some main points that I want to put into this book but I''m not sure on the fillers so it might be awhile before I post anymore I plan I''m trying to post the first chapter when they let me. Chapter 1 The Village and the Bandits In the far reaches of the kingdom with a small village, playing in almost every way made of wood and the pieces of metal lying about. this village mind the ancient ruins nearby to support the kingdom.This village laid at the border of the new lands as the people called them and the forgotten city that parted the mountains and controlled the flow of the river. The chief of the village was a strong muscular man, with a heart of gold and a spirit full of fire. he led villagers in claiming large portions of the ruins.He married at a young age to a fiery woman full of passion and love for all around. They together had giving birth to a pair of beautiful twins, the children had hair a white and eyes of silver , The boy''s name was John after his grandfather, and the girl''s name was Sarah after the wife after the first village chiefs.the dangers that surrounded their village were many,and it was not just the monsters that roamed the border that were the only problem but the humans who wished to profit of of their deeds as well.In the forest beyond the river was a man call Blood-Jack for he desired all that the world saw immoral and lust for violence and human pleasure.The men who fallow him have scavenge the border looking for a place to once again pillage and profit from.They had become a hassle for the village but the chief and the other men were able to keep them at bay,letting the children and the elderly live a life of peace. After the children''s 8th birthday the men had mined their way into a large clearing in the mine.The building they had mined into was of marble and petrified oak,the men stared in ah and horo at a large figure that laid at the back of the building.Covered in roots and vines this hulking figure laid with hand larger than a man¡¯s entire body and a head with eyes that seemed to see all that laid in front of it.A body that seemed to be made of solid stone and legs of iron.Its appearance gave the man chills and a desire to flee.They decide not to move the demon that the elder called a Golem and began to worship the beast in the desire for protection. Ai locating program repair mechanic and retrieve target located again repair function estimated time of arrival 4 hours Meanwhile back at the village Townspeople were beginning to celebrate another year, the streets are lined with flowers and colored rope. the townspeople were celebrating their 20th year after colonizing. This year the village had decided to show a test of strength to the future citizens of the village, in the field outside the village you can hear the ring of hammers, the village men were having a test of strength to see who can even out the most metal as they carved into the Forgotten ruins. three men were left standing after 10 minutes of this event the chief with his iron hammer going strong at the metal and then clean strokes, she''s right hand man stood nearby cheering them on. the other two contestants were regulars of the village 1 running a bar in the other the local blacksmith. Three contestants along with all their might keeping the crowd excited , in the crowds to young children cheering on their father both with silver hair. in between these two their mother chief''s wife. the two children that looks from their mother more than their father both with bright eyes of silver and hair of the same color, the only difference would be that the boy has a small amount of brown like his father and his hair which gave him the look of iron in its natural form.The daughter on the other hand had a more gentle look like her mother. ¡° Come on father I know you can do it!¡± said John jumping in the air ¡°Well if he can''t do this then he isn''t worth being my husband ¡°said their Mother with a grin ¡°Oh I know he can do it mom don''t be so hard on them afterwards if he losses¡± Sara said with a worried smile. The contestants continue to hammer away until the elder judge decided that it was time to stop, Tired they looked at the judge sweat dripping out on their faces. The old man looked at the middle individually taking his time, he checked every aspect down to the finest detail. the old man looked up at each other contestants smile and walked over to the chief and raised his hand. declaring the chief the winter the crowd erupted with joy, The old man took the metal and walk to the mine the villagers followed. Halfway down the mines the villagers turned to a side passage that ended into a large room with pillars of marble, in the remnants of many seats, sitting at the end of the room stood the Machine always looking towards the door. Around it the villagers had built a small shrine in honor of the being that stood there, the older man placed the metal in front of the great machine and gave a prayer, The villagers joined in on this prayer hoping that the Guardian would give them another year protection. After leaving the mind the villagers went back to their annual celebration, this included many different types of food that the villagers held ranging from skewers of meat to fried apples and other fruits that surrounded the village. The villagers mainly lived off of the large amount of wildlife that surround the town including deer, rabbits, and small birds. The village had a large river nearby no one dared approaching for a demon had taken residence in the form of a large snake. it was on this day but the villagers got an unusual visitor... Walking down the main street the John ask ¡°Mama why do we give the metal to the giant statue that''s in the mine?¡± the mother answered with a smile ¡°Ever since we have found the statue our lives have been easier,the demons haven''t entered or attacked anyone in the village or around, The people took this as a sign and by giving the statue gifts from the earth he would be merciful towards us.¡± john looked at his mother with the annoyed expression stating ¡°Why there''s no sense in giving something that''s valuable for us to something that can move.¡± Sarah looked at her brother and said ¡°You can''t disrespect what mom said and besides the statue looks cool .¡± with a superior expression towards her brother. the mother giggled and she looked at our children are doing and continue to walk out. was at this moment that they all heard a whirling noise and as they look to the south of the city of small blurb appeared and ran towards the mine, The men seeing this ran after it but could not catch the small counting that it was a bird or a bat or some kind of small the men gave up and walked away. when the chief got word of this he thought that that was strange action of any animal and that they should not enter that mine for a while. unbeknownst to the villagers the small robot entered the minds and looked at the large statue the villagers worship and began to examine it p AI Target located beginning repairs... checking status of pilot.... The small machine began working enthusiastically towards the rebuild of the giant machine. on a hillside outside of town: ¡° Call the boys Drake¡± a tall dark figure said in a husky voice ¡°All the towns people are gathered up,It¡¯s about time we get to work on the plan.¡± A muscular man nodded towards the speaker and walked away going to get the rest of the bandits. The dark figure turn back and look towards the village and thought to himself ¡°Oh Ive been waiting for this day for such a long time since I last saw him. And I can''t wait to see him fall when I burned his home town to the ground.¡± Author''s note: hey guys it''s JunkMayor again, had to put a bit more info on this couldn''t really decide on the filler so I decided with a celebration now I don''t know if you guys want me to go into more detail about the bandits or if you guys want me to get to the part where Andrew wakes up or not so you guys have an opinion leave it down in the comments I would like to try to post least once a week but I don''t know if that''s going to be a common thing or not .
