《Slaughtering God's Legacy Inheritor》
Prologue: The Last Battle.
Two indistinct figures flew across the starry skies. One figure was dressed with a red robe while the latter was dressed with a blue robe.
With their flight. The space itself trembled, and the battle qi of the two spread across a huge distant. Even encapsulating half of the barren land where they were fighting.
Every time they streaked across the skies. Monstrous explosions would occur.
"You''re persistent!" The red-robed figure howled. His voice carried the masculinity of men.
"I already gave you my answer yet you still want it?! I wont hand it even if I die!" The blue-robed figure. Her voice carried the brittleness of glass. Yet, It was steadfast.
"Then, Tonight. This place shall be your grave!" With a howl, The red-robed figures body exploded with battle qi, and with a wave of his hands. An icy sword appeared from thin air.
"Feel honored. For you''ll be the first one to die by my supreme technique!" The red-robed man again streaked through the skies. His afterimages alone left ripples to space and with his flight. Space itself trembled.
"Hmmph!" The blue-robed figure formed hand sigils in mid-air and a sword of light manifested. The only peculiar thing about the sword was it was broken. It gave off a radiance of the holy element and the figure once again streaked the skies.
The two pulled their hands outwards. Preparing a thrust.
"Excalibur!" The red-robed man howled as his body became filled with several light of protection spells and the sword on his hand became encapsulated with a fiendish black aura.
"Earth Shattering, Heaven Piercing Sword!" The blue-robed figure exploded with a holy radiance and also prepared a thrust. The holy sword on her hand was shadowed by an earthen yellow aura.
The two figures released their supreme attacks and the space around them collapsed. Revealing the grievous space outside the world. With a monstrous explosion. The two were engulfed by their respective spells and were sent flying backwards.
This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
The red-robed man crashed on the ground, But his flying momentum still didn''t end. Resulting to grievous wounds and severed flesh flew across the barren land. With his lifeless body on the ground, and the tattered clothes caused by the crash. He immediately died.
While the blue-robed figure crashed on the ground. Several of her protective spells activated, and was able to barely cling to the thin thread of life, But looking by her body alone. It was enough to tell that she wouldn''t be able to live by morning.
Her limbs were severed and her blue robe was tattered so much that it even revealed what was inside her clothes.
"Ughh... " She struggled to move her body, and made it face the starry skies. Tears flowed from her eyes and she whispered to the air.
"Asmodeo, This is my last will." The same broken sword manifested, It levitated several inches from the ground. It seemed to react from her statement.
"What is it, master?" The broken sword manifested a figure. It was a human boy clothed with a black robe. The boy bowed solemnly towards the fallen woman.
"Guard my son, Robert, and let him be your next master." After having relayed her sentiment. The woman inhaled her last breath, and died.
"Sofia, You were a good master, But I can''t seem to accept this last will of yours." A small tear left the young boy''s left eye.
"Nevertheless, I will test him. If he is proven to be worthy. Then, He will be my next master." The young boy rubbed his left eye to rid himself of his earlier sentiment.
"May your will be passed." The boy then was absorbed by the broken sword, and the sword streaked through the skies heading northeast.
The Longinus Kingdom.
Chapter 1: Alleged Divine Artifact.
Year 6997 of the Fallaciae Calendar. Sixteen Hours after the Last Battle.
The vibrant relaxing air spread around the fenced manor. The dazzling light of the sun awoke the sleeping figure of the Longinus Kingdom''s third prince. Robert Longinus.
"Hmm..." His consciousness was still in a stupor state. Murmuring insensible words, Robert stood up and stretched his sore body.
"Another long day to do." Robert fixed his bed and proceeded towards the hallway.
The Robert Longinus manor was a normal villa. Though he was despised due to the fact that his battle qi comprehension or insight gathering skills were low, They were still benevolent enough to give him this particular parcel of land. Although there were conditions, It''s still acceptable for Robert''s terms, and since then, He accepted this sedentary life.
"Young Master. " Having passed the hallway. What greeted him in the dining room was the thin muscular figure of his vassal. Sahhad.
"Oh, Sahhad. What''s for breakfast?" Robert yawned as he passed Sahhad and headed to the glass table where several foods were gathered.
"Hmm... Wild berries and some high class breads. Still the same as ever." Robert sighed to himself and seated himself down. The maids gathered were solemn in their duties and bowed their heads as the seated Robert calmed himself.
"What''s wrong, Young Master?" Sahhad voiced his concern towards Robert respectfully.
"Nothing, It''s just this ominous feeling I''m getting." Robert again sighed and grabbed the utensils and started eating.
"Now that I think of it. Today is the day that we''ll go to James City right?" Robert glanced at Sahhad while still munching the wild berries on his mouth. His speaking voice was unclear, but it was audible. Someone like Sahhad who stayed by Robert''s side for so long, How could he misinterpret his words?
"Yes, yes... Although It''s the same as ever. Managing the city''s affair as a Lord Mayor really is a daunting task." Sahhad also sighed to himself.
"You just took the words out of my mouth, But it''s still quite enjoyable, On this time of the year. I''m able to converse with normal commoners. Father is just so overprotective, He really went on his way and even prevented commoners to approach this area within a two kilometer radius!" Robert nagged, and munched the wild berries and also snatched the bread that was served.
Sahhad just attentively listened to his master''s nagging. He was quite used to it, and Robert also feels the same way as Sahhad. The two were close to each other to the point that they even nags to each other.
"Are you going now, Young Master?" Sahhad voiced in an intrigued voice, The way his master snatched the wild berries and the bread made him think that his master was on a hurry.
"Yes, Let''s go now, I''m quite in a hurry," Robert revealed a mirthful smile and walked towards the door.
This particular time of the year was something that Robert always look forwards into. The main certain reason was Lily. Robert fell for her immediately when they met. Just her gazes alone made Robert awestruck. This was the very reason why Robert was hurrying towards James City.
Robert secretly thanked his mother for assigning him to James City.
As Robert entered the carriage, He couldn''t help but think of the first time he and Lily met.
"Young master, Should we check the merchant stalls for any weighing counterfeits?" Sahhad solemnly said to Robert and attentively waited for his reply. The two were walking in a slow pace around the central area of James City.
The James City is divided into three parts. The first one is the outer area. All kinds of carriages, Tourists, and horses that carries cargo are unloaded here to proceed to the central area.
The central area of James City is the area where merchants, advertisers, street performers, beggars are concentrated in this area. This area is the busiest area of James City.
The inner area of James City is the area where livelihood areas are gathered, Many kinds of houses are concentrated, and nobles often fight for the housing rights in this area. Many people that visits James City dreams of becoming a certified citizen of James City.
"Okay, I think I can put this disguises to use. " Robert revealed a smug smile and squeezed his way towards the busiest area of the city.
"Hmm?" As Robert arrived around the area. A certain area of the place was concentrated with people. Some were curious onlookers.
"Summon the Lord Mayor!" An imposing voice shouted.
"Excuse me. What''s going on here?" Robert tapped a stranger on the shoulder, With curious eyes. The stranger looked at Robert warily.
"What is it milord?" As If a pressing pressure was working. The stranger felt the need for respectful communication and bowed towards Robert.
"What is happening? Why are people curiously concentrating there?" Robert glanced at the area, and the stranger revealed a mirthful smile.
"Ah, That place. It seems like a robbery happened. " The stranger just calmly said and looked at Robert with a curious gaze.
"Thank you, thank you." Robert smiled and squeezed his way towards the area.
"What''s happening here?" Robert finally reached the area with Sahhad behind him. The two inquired the people around the area. Their replies were the same as the first stranger.
"Sahhad, Use it." With a steeled voice, Robert voiced to Sahhad.
Sahhad just smiled and clutched a certain object in his chest pocket. Sahhad raised it high and shouted.
"The Lord Mayor is here!" Everyone immediately parted ways and opened the area around the circled spectators. The two saw a cuffed girl. Her age was similar to Robert. Her pale white skin were as soft looking as cotton, and her fiery red hair captured Robert''s eyes.
Robert didn''t understand what happened to him. He felt like the world had stopped, and his heart clenched. The space around the two locked. The time itself stopped. The girl''s moist eyes locked at Robert''s gaze.
The rowdy crowd were something superficial for him. He felt like everything around him wasn''t important. The noisy merchants. The flood of complaints. All of them didn''t matter for him.

"Young Master?" Sahhad glanced at his astounded master, But his curiosity was immediately sated. He found that his master''s gaze was locked at the fallen girl. Sahhad smiled to himself and sighed.
"I''ll pay for the damages! Release the girl and let''s forget about what happened here!" Sahhad shouted to the crowd.
The people around Sahhad whispered to each other. "Will he be able to pay for it?" "He has the Lord Mayor''s medallion. His accounts are probably higher than ours."
"Are you sure that you can pay for it?" A dark muscular man stepped inside the circling spectators. Intently looking at Sahhad.
"Why would I say that I''m able to If I''m not able to?" Sahhad snorted and with a wave. A small pouch of gold appeared.
"Here is it. Inside this pouch is at least 300 golds."
"Ah!" The muscular merchant''s eyes widened. He immediately snatched the pouch of gold and unlocked the cuffs from the girl.
"Good, good. " Sahhad dusted his hands and immediately approached his master.
"Milord!" A feminine voice sounded from behind. Sahhad turned and fixated his gaze towards the approaching figure.
"Please don''t go yet! I need to thank you!" The girl finally reached Sahhad and catched her breath.
"Don''t thank me. Thank my master." Sahhad smiled to the girl and the girl immediately glanced behind and found the love-struck Robert.
"Sir, Thank you!" The girl clutched Robert''s hands and Robert slightly flinched.
"Ah... O, O-Okay!" Robert stuttered and finally regained his senses.
"Hehe..." Sahhad just revealed a smug smile and glanced at Robert from behind.
"Sahhad, You bastard. " Robert sighed to himself and cleared his throat before facing the girl before him.
"By the way, What''s your name?" Robert calmly said and adjusted his posture.
"My name is Lily." Lily joyfully smiled at Robert and thanked him countless times before running away. Robert didn''t even had the opportunity to introduce himself due to Lily''s pressing attitude.
Still Robert haven''t forgot that time. That was last year. Since then, Robert wanted to meet Lily again, But his efforts were futile. Still, He occasionally visits the area where the two of them first met. The central area.

"Young master! We can''t proceed any further!" Sahhad''s voice rang from outside and woke the sleeping Robert.
"That dream again?" Robert sighed to himself and jumped from the carriage.
Outside, He saw huge concentrations of people gathering around the outer area. They were frantic in their movements.
"What''s going on here?!" Robert squeezed himself and found the area where several people where lined up. The people neatly lined themselves into four groups. Each group held one rope that was tied to a certain sword stabbed in the ground.
"What is that thing?" Robert inquired a stranger beside him.
"That''s an Alleged Divine Artifact! That sword arrived here at dawn and caused a huge sound that woke us up. When we tried to pull that sword from the ground. We found out that none of us were able to do it."
"I see. Thank you." Robert said in a monotone voice.
"No problem. If you''re here to try pulling that sword up. Place yourself with those guys frantically pulling the rope. Your body is certainly strong. You may be of help. " The stranger smiled and ran towards the opening and also joined the group pulling the ropes.
"Divine Artifact. Hmm..." Robert clutched his cheeks in pensive thinking, and scanned the surroundings.
"There are even mages of the seven star. Also warriors of the six star." Robert smiled to himself. This was the force of the Longinus Kingdom.
"Young Master!" Sahhad desperately squeezed himself and finally reached his master.
"Oh, Sahhad. Found some informations?" Robert winked at Sahhad, and Sahhad just chortled before saying.
"Those are the Kingdom''s forces. It seems like they are trying to obtain that artifact or at least, Hire the person who are able to pull that sword up. A divine artifact is priceless as you know. "
"I see... " Robert sighed to himself and revealed a curious smile.
"Master?" Sahhad was able to catch some hints of his master''s next actions and asked "Are you perhaps going to try on pulling that sword?"
"Hahaha, You''re really my trustworthy vassal. For you to be able to read my mind as If it''s a book. I''m really proud at you." Robert smiled to the teary eyed Sahhad.
"Thanks master." Sahhad rubbed the corner of his eyes and watched his master enter the area around the sword.
"Kid! What are you doing! Get out of there! The second round of spells are ready to be casts!" A white robed man howled at the calm figure of Robert.
"Don''t worry sir. Just let me try pulling. " As Robert crouched and clutched the sword with his dominant hand. Without his knowledge. A small pulse of red aura entered Sahhad''s curious figure. Sahhad fell senseless for about five seconds and was able to regain his senses.
"One." Robert rolled his sleeves, and wiped his sweat off.
"Two." Robert placed his less dominant hand on top of his dominant arm.
"Three!" With a howl. Robert unleashed all of his strength and pulled the sword out of the ground.
Miraculously, The ground itself trembled. Space ripples appeared and thunders streaked the skies. When Robert pulled the sword. He didn''t expect himself to pull the sword from the ground. Robert revealed a proud smile and shouted.
"Divine Artifact! Acquired!" Robert shouted, and the silent spectators exploded like cheering kids.
"Awesome! He got the artifact! The artifact that even seven star mages were unable to pull. He just pulled it from the ground like some small stone! Outrageous!" One of the surrounding spectators shouted, and the crowd once again exploded.

Chapter 2: Manifestation.
One afternoon in the Longinus Kingdom''s Palace. Count Guillermo bowed to King Luis and said "Your Majesty, It seems like someone has already obtained the divine artifact we longed for, Since It''s arrival. Even seven star mages and warriors weren''t able to pull the sword, But this morning. A youth pulled the sword." His voice carried a hint of excitement. Still, It was solemn
"Hmm... A youth, huh? Is he from our kingdom? " King Luis clutched his hands together. Patiently waiting for Guillermo''s reply.
"Not just from our kingdom. He''s the third prince. Robert Longinus. " Guillermo glanced at the King with steeled resolve. The king widened his eyes in shock.
"Robert, eh..." Luis said in a wary voice.
"How unfortunate for him." Count Guillermo said to himself, and sighed internally.
"Summon Robert Longinus at once!" King Luis bellowed and Count Guillermo immediately retracted his posture and said.
"Well then, Your majesty. I bid you goodbye. " Count Guillermo paid his respects and exited the throne room.
...
"Eh? What''s that? Is that supposed to be a divine artifact?"
"Yeah, right! A broken ragged sword as a divine artifact? Hell, no! " Several spectators around shouted in dismay. Robert also froze and glanced at the arm he pierced through the skies.
"This is..."
"A broken sword?!" Robert scrutinized the broken sword, and as expected. It was a normal ragged broken sword that you can find in any soldiers around the area. Even it''s handle are similar to the soldier corps sword. The only difference was the transparent gem embedded between blade and the handle.
"Young Master! Let''s go home for now! I can''t keep these curious onlookers!" Sahhad''s voice rang as he was being pushed by the audiences who wanted to see a glance of the alleged divine artifact. Beaded sweats formed on his forehead as a sign of fatigue.
"Let''s go!" Robert weaved through the pile of people and ran towards his carriage.
"Back to our manor!" Robert leaped and rolled on the carriage.
"Faster, Sahhad!" Robert glanced at the frantic Sahhad. Sahhad just smiled and said "Heh."
With a blur. Sahhad instantly appeared inside the carriage. The dumbfounded Robert shook his head and shouted "Sahhad!"
"I''m here." Sahhad tapped Robert''s shoulders from behind. The astounded Robert''s eyes widened and said. "How the hell did you get here?"
"Hahaha. That''s a secret." Sahhad winked and Robert just laughed. He didn''t know whether to laugh or to cry.
"This old man." Robert sighed to himself and signaled the driver. "Let''s go!" With a bellow. The carriage immediately rocked and left.
Year 6997 of the Fallaciae Calendar. James City of the Longinus Kingdom.
"Where did Prince Robert go?!" The frantic Guillermo angrily walked around the surroundings. He even shoved his servants to the ground.
"That fucking kid! Find him!" Guillermo howled to the seven star mage that was on standby.
"Y-Yes!" The mage arranged his posture and frantically poured his battle qi in the basin.
"What the fuck are you doing?! Are you supposed to find him with that! Go use your flying wings, you lazy bastard!" The enraged Guillermo slammed his foot on the ground. His foot left deep marks, and some shockwaves of the impact flew to the spectating audiences, knocking them back.
Even though he didn''t look like it. Count Guillermo was a nine star mage. He''s a double expert. Although his rank as a warrior was only six star. His strength was still indomitable. Which explains the huge explosion he created by venting his rage on the ground.
"S-Sorry sir! But this is most effective if used when the target is already far!" The mage worked himself up to explain, Though he stuttered midway, His panic stricken body smiled as he finished his explanation.
"Huh?! So are you saying that water mages trash like you are useful for scouting?! Okay then. If you''ll not succeed in finding that kid. I''ll fucking turn your head to meat pastes!"
"Y-yes!" The mage''s face was filled with dread and he poured all his might towards casting a particular spell.
"Eyes of Omni!" The magus shouted and a faint light filled the steady waters of the basin. The faint blue hue scattered around the waters creating a small mirage of white light. The white light transformed to a faint figure of a brown eyed boy.
This figure was definitely Robert Longinus. Upon seeing this. Guillermo sprang from his rage and rushed towards the basin.
"Ohh! You''re competent after all! Here get this and scram!" Guillermo clutched a small pouch from his chest pocket and threw it to the magus.
The magus snatched it in mid-air and said. " Thank you sir! " The magus'' dread filled face was replaced with mirth.
"No problem, no problem. Just scram! I''ll handle things here." Guillermo''s rage already dissipated and his voice returned to neutral.
The magus solemnly bowed, sighed and left the tent.
"Hahaha! Your mother managed to protect you, But now that she''s not here. Who will protect you?! " Guillermo revealed a grim smile and shouted. "Pursue! To the Range of Living Plants!" The soldiers outside immediately relayed the messages from one to another. By the time when Guillermo left the tent. The soldiers are already ready.
...
The range of living plants. As the name says. It''s a mountain range filled with carnivorous plants! Though barricades to prevent the encroaching danger to approach merchants are placed. Some plants are still able to escape the barricades and pierce through.
Though the area is dangerous. It''s still the best shortcut for someone inbound or outbound to James City. Robert chose this area since for him, It doesn''t contain much danger.
"Young master. We''re approaching the middle section of the mountain range. Expect a bumpy ride. " Sahhad smiled to his master. His head is overlooking the outside area.
"That''s no problem. We''ve been here countless times already." Robert returned the favor and also stuck his head out to see the outside world.
"Hmm... Ominous plants and some living rocks. " Robert''s voice didn''t have a hint of worry. His face was filled with excitement.
"Hahaha... This Oracle powder really is useful sometimes. " Sahhad snatched a small pouch from his bag and sprinkled the red powder around the carriage. He did this all in just ten seconds.
"Finish already? You became quite fast." Robert waved his hands towards the approaching Sahhad.
"Hahaha. I''m not really that fast. " Sahhad revealed a small smile and stood beside his master.
"What''s wrong master? Are you still doubtful about that divine artifact?" Sahhad glanced at his worry stricken master. His master''s gaze was fixed on the broken sword.
"I wonder if this really is a divine artifact. " Robert''s tone had a hint of worry in it. If this artifact is fake. He would be shamed. His recent actions in James City wasn''t befitting for a Lord Mayor. If his father found out about this. He would be penalized.
"Hmm?"
"What''s wrong, Young master?" Sahhad followed his master''s gaze. There they saw a small carriage being attacked by small living plants. Screams of women can be heard, and a bloodied old man desperately fended off the plants.
"That''s a Flesh Eating Bone Shattering Plant! Damn it!" Robert immediately jumped and rushed towards the small carriage.
"Master!" Sahhad also followed and with a blur. He vanished into thin air.
The driver of the carriage also stopped and jumped off. He didn''t look like it but he was a five star warrior.
"Careful!" A small snaring plant whipped towards Robert. Sahhad just voiced in time as Robert blocked the snaring plant''s attack.
Sahhad immediately activated several protection spells and Robert leaped off and slashed the snaring plant to oblivion.
"Fireball!"
"Eat this!" The two jumped at the same time and used their spells. Sahhad used his Fireball while Robert utilized his divine artifact.
"Guasagh!" The Flesh Eating Plant shrieked and glanced at the two with killing intent. As If scanning who''s weaker. The Flesh Eating Plant dived towards Robert.
"Master!" Sahhad just watched as his master wasn''t able to move due to the shock. But to his surprise. His master disappeared to thin air and appeared in the air above.
"You fucking bastard! Eat this!" Robert utilized the broken sword and slashed downward. The Flesh Eating Plant''s head broke open and brain matter scattered around the area. Even drenching the sweat filled Robert''s face with green stinky blood.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
"Damn it." Robert slightly cursed and said "I''m sorry Sahhad." Robert gestured to the nearby Sahhad. Sahhad just nodded and said "Cleanse" A faint blue light covered Robert''s body. Sahhad was a seven star mage of the water element, and so. spells at this levels were easy to instacast.
"By the way Sahhad. How high did that monster ranked again?"
"Six stars, Water Element."
Robert nodded in acknowledgement and said. "I see, I see. But it looks like that Flesh Eating Bone Shattering Plant is not the only enemy. " Robert smiled as several Flesh Eating Plants revealed themselves. Their eyes filled with killing intent towards the two.
Robert gestured and said. "Sahhad, Protect those people. "
Sahhad nodded and said "Yes master, Be careful."
"Now, you bastards! Come! " Though filled with worry. Robert smiled and provoked the Flesh Eating Plants. Hearing Robert''s provocation. They immediately sprang to action and wildly attacked at Robert.
"Gravity Down!" An earthen yellow aura formed from elemental essence and increased the gravity around Robert by ten times. The Flesh Eating Plants were caught unguarded and fell to the ground. Robert revealed a grin and said "Now this job will be easy."
Several flesh eating heads flew across the skies as Robert casually hacked them with his broken sword. Robert sighed and to his amazement. He found out that the broken sword was as sharp as sharpened swords. Even though it''s broken. It still had insurmountable durability.
"Is this really a divine artifact?" Robert said to himself and revealed a smile. "I''m really lucky. "
"Young master!" Sahhad called from behind. As Robert turned. He saw that Sahhad was tied with a knot. Same goes for the people they helped. Behind them were several sturdy looking soldiers.
Robert was able to ascertain from their auras alone that they shouldn''t be offended at all cost. Robert was just a six star warrior. Due to his weak battle qi comprehension. He wasn''t able to advance to seven star and failed the age of coming ceremony. But still, He was grateful for his benevolent father that handed him a piece of land to manage.
Though this signifies that he wouldn''t have any chance for the throne at all. Robert was already satisfied by what he got. Still, Robert thought. "Why did this strong guys come here? If my memory serves me right, I haven''t offended anyone." Robert wondered to himself before shouting.
"What does milords need of me?" Robert respectfully said. He knew that this people and the person behind them should not be offended. How could he be so disrespectful in front of a supreme expert?
"Hahaha, Robert Longinus! My cute and sweet third prince! How well are you doing?" A familiar voice rang from behind. Just hearing his voice made Robert''s eyes widened.
"Count Guillermo?! That bastard! The nerve of him to show himself to me!" Robert slightly cursed before saying.
"I''m quite well Count Guillermo. What business do you need of me?" Robert smiled still he used a respectful intonation.
"Hahaha, No need to be so tense. I just need that small broken sword in your back. " Guillermo smiled and walked towards Robert. He opened up his hands as if trying to predict Robert''s answer.
"This bastard! Not only did he sent my sister far away. He even wants to acquire this artifact?! " Robert internally brimmed with rage. Still, He put up a facade and said.
"But, Count Guillermo. I''m the one who obtained it through my efforts. I should be the one to keep this." Robert protested and at the same time. Guillermo''s face became ugly to behold.
"So what?! I already gave you a fucking chance you fucking kid! Since you didn''t acknowledge my benevolence. Prepare to surrender your petty life!" Count Guillermo finally revealed his cards and howled at Robert.
Robert''s face also turned grim. and said.
"Do you dare act like this to me?! If you choose this path. Be ready for the consequences!" Robert thought of his mother who gave him a medallion of protection, and with a wave. The medallion appeared in thin air.
"Just try!" Robert proudly raised the medallion high in the skies.
Upon recognizing the medallion. Count Guillermo''s face twitched. The medallion of immunity. As the name says, Gives sufficient protection and favorable circumstances for the owner,But it can only be bestowed by the King or the Queen itself.
Count Guillermo still remembered of how King Luis bestowed Robert with this medallion.
"Third Prince of the Longinus Kingdom, Robert Longinus." King Luis adjusted his posture and a familiar sound creaked from the throne.
"I, with my name. King Luis Longinus, Hereby bestow you this medallion of immunity." King Luis smiled as he placed his palm onto Robert''s head. Robert could feel the warm touch of King Luis'' palm and furthermore respected the King''s charisma.
On the sidelines. Count Guillermo''s teeth chattered with anger. "How could the King bestow such a precious item to that brat?! Damn you Sofia, You left your son with such a convenient article!" Count Guillermo clasped his hands together in pensive thinking.
"Nevertheless, I''ll find an opportunity to end your measly life. When that happens, Don''t blame me. Blame your stupid mother for that year." Count Guillermo sighed and he regained his normal calm.
...
Count Guillermo slightly regained his composure, and his face turned an arc. With a grim smile. Count Guillermo proudly announced. "The Medallion of Immunity, Such a wasteful article to be used by you! Well then, Here''s the news. The Medallion of Immunity only works if the benefactor still considers it as in effect or if the benefactor is still alive! Then, News Flash! Your benefactor is dead! Your mother is dead!" Count Guillermo even amplified his voice using water type magic and his voice sounded like a thunderous roar.
Robert was hit in a gut with a punch, But immediately regained his composure and said. "And why the hell should I believe someone who tried to kill me? You bastard! If you try to attack me while I have this medallion, I will ensure that you''re gonna regret your decision for the rest of your life!" Robert howled to the grim smiling Guillermo.
A deafening silence ensued. None of Count Guillermo''s soldiers attacked, and Robert didn''t flee. They patiently waited each others reply until.
"Hmm... Kid. You really are persistent. Don''t haunt me from the netherworld. I hate ghosts." Guillermo grimly smiled and shouted "Attack!"
"Ououhhh!" Several soldiers on standby immediately stood in action. Their target, The stupor Robert Longinus.
"Mother... Mother..." Robert''s mind was still recalling the events with his mother.
"You really are helpless, Kid." The broken sword mentally reached out to the pensive Robert, and as if a lightning struck. Robert''s pensive mind was brought to reality. The broken sword reacted with his emotions. It also contained the pent up emotion Robert had. Hatred, Vengeance, and all kinds of strong emotions. It was all mixed in the broken sword.
"Wh-What the?! I-impossible! A kid like him... A kid like him was able to awaken the artifact?!" Count Guillermo''s face became filled with dread, and a strong white light emanated from the broken sword. All of the soldiers around Robert were turned to ashes.
"Let me take over you a bit. By the way, My name is Asmodeo, I''m your divine artifact." The broken sword didn''t wait for the dumbfounded Robert''s reply and immediately manifested his presence. He took over Robert''s body and in that instance. Robert''s figure change.
His eyes changed from brown to scarlet red, and his hair turned from black to blue. A draconic tattoo was scribbled across his left cheek and his battle qi exploded around the area.
"Guillermo, I know what you did to Sofia. Now, I''ll revenge my master. I wonder how fast can you run? " The transformed Robert grimly smiled at Guillermo. His gaze alone made Guillermo''s heart sink.
"Timer starts. Now!" With a blur, Guillermo disappeared to thin air.
"As expected. You really are a fast runner, But you cannot escape me! Nothing escapes me, Asmodeo!" The transformed Robert also disappeared into a blur.

Chapter 3: Asmodeo
In the skies above the Longinus Kingdom, Two blurs were chasing each other. A blurry figure slowly solidified.
"Guillermo, You''re really good at running eh..." Asmodeo glanced at the advancing figure. Asmodeo intently fixed his gaze towards it. "But it seems like you''re still gonna die. You''re still not fast enough." Asmodeo turned to a blur and arrived next to the blurred Guillermo.
"Ah!" The frantic Guillermo threw Fireballs at the solidified Asmodeo. But the spells vanished to thin air without even reaching Asmodeo. As if there''s a huge wall that struck the spells.
"Bastard!" Asmodeo snagged the blurry Guillermo which then in turn became solidified. Asmodeo clutched him at the neck.
"Dnt DU Dhsi!" Guillermo uttered inaudible words. He tightly clutched Asmodeo''s arms. Even creating significant scratch marks as he struggled for air.
"SHUPPP!!" Guillermo kicked Asmodeo as hard as he can. His face turned purple due to lack of oxygen and he finally lost consciousness.
"Hmm... This bastard isn''t even that tough. " Asmodeo snickered as he slammed Guillermo''s body on the ground. Asmodeo then dusted himself and once again clutched Guillermo. He fiercely grabbed Guillermo''s face and said.
"Time to burn evidences." A fiery red battle qi spread from Asmodeo and a fierce burning inferno burned Guillermo''s body to nothingness. The strange thing was, The dry grasses around weren''t even burnt. Only Guillermo''s body disappeared to dusts.
"Oh, I still need to scatter those knights." With a blur. Asmodeo instantly disappeared into thin air.
...
Year 6997 of the Fallaciae Calendar. Desert of Tombs. Six hours before Materialization.
On the fiery barren land of the Desert of Tombs. There were two blurs pressing themselves to the limit. They frantically tried to reach the small crater, A distance not too far away from them.
"Master Sofia... " The two internally thought as they advanced. The beasts around the Desert of Tombs hide themselves to the sight of these two. Their auras alone made the Desert of Tombs lifeless.
With their steps alone. The surrounding land burned to dusts, and invisible ripples of space appeared around the place where they ran.
The two blurs slowly solidified as they arrived near the small crater. The two retracted their fierce battle qi and leaped off the small crater.
"If Master Sofia is dead, We need to recover the artifact!" The crater the two supreme experts made were deep. It was at least fifteen meters deep and thirty meters wide.
"Let there be light!" A magus activated his spiritual energy and used a judgement type magic to kindle a small orb of light. His spiritual energy occasionally feeds the small orb.
Judgement type magic is a magic that uses one''s judgement to create miracles. Like for example, If the area is dark. You can use Judgement magic to activate a small light that feds of your spiritual energy. Of course, It immediately deactivates with your will or if your spiritual energy runs out.
But there is a limit as to Judgement type magic works. For example. You can''t just will something to come to life. That''s across the boundary of humans. That''s why Judgement type magic is usually stronger for non-humans use than humans. Because they are not bound by the rules of humanity, their judgement magic will be stronger.
Although the spell relies on spiritual energy. Battle qi is still essential in activating the spell itself. To a human, Battle qi is like a bone. To a spell. It''s like the intermediary between the world and the netherworld. Since all spiritual energy supplies comes from the netherworld. One needs to use battle qi to activate any spells.
"Thanks for the small light, Ashura. " A cold icy voice spoke, Her voice carried a small hint of praise, Mostly mocking.
"No problem, Little Kaila. " A radiant joyful voice also replied. He smiled towards the descending woman. In terms of appearance. The two can be considered as exceptionally beautiful, handsome. Kaila had jade green eyes. Long, jade-green hair and a prominent figure among the women.
Ashura himself had a noble, exalted aura among the two. His figure alone was so prominent and pristine. Ashura''s build was of a thin man, But his gazes alone could send anyone''s heart to clench. Not for love, But for fear. Contrary to his mirthful attitude. Ashura is a torturous and reckless person while Kaila herself is gentle, and caring.
"That is..." Ashura squinted his eyes, His gaze fixated on a small figure below.
"Master Sofia!"
"Teacher Sofia!" The two exclaimed at the same time and hasted their descent. The two gracefully fell down and Ashura immediately checked his master for vital signs, while Kaila clutched her hands in worry.
"Eh? What''s wrong? Ashura?!" Seeing that Ashura''s head fell down. Kaila lost all hope.
"Do-Don''t tell me? T-teacher is dead?!" Kaila clutched Ashura''s shoulder and a teary eyed Ashura appeared. Also silently, Kaila''s tears fell down. "T-teacher." Kaila remembered the first time she and Sofia Longinus met.
"Oh, So this is the cute little Kaila you said to me! Hmm... She really is cute." That time. Sofia squeezed Kaila''s cheeks until they became red. The teary eyed Kaila couldn''t do anything. Her defenseless form was even more cute that Sofia continued to casually press the teary eyed Kaila''s cheeks.
But in her subconscious. A small hint of admiration were planted on Kaila''s mind. She dreamed of overcoming Sofia''s pristine. She too wanted to become someone as strong as her, and so. Kaila began her training under Sofia''s guidance.
"Teacher, Can''t I really see you anymore? " Kaila became the same child as she was years ago. Ashura''s eyes also became red as he curled to a ball and silently cried.
This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
Suddenly... A unique ripple of the space materialized.
In this dark crater on the Desert of the Tombs. A blurry figure slowly solidified. A figure so familiar for the two. Their teacher and master. Sofia Longinus.
"Master!"
"Teacher!" The two called out to the solidified figure of light.
"Ashura Bararaq, Kaila Pristina. If the two of you sees this message. That means that I''m long dead. " The manifested Sofia revealed her same mirthful smile towards the two. Again, Streams of tears silently fell from their eyes as they called out to their master.
"Sniff... T-teacher, You said that you still wouldn''t die until you introduce me to your son! " Kaila pointed in the figure of her master. Her voice became brittle as glass.
Ashura couldn''t completely hold his bearings and cried like the same child he was a long time ago.
"Don''t worry you two, I will complete my promise to the two of you even if I''m dead. " The eyes of the two lit up, The two rubbed their eyes and attentively listened.
"Listen up, Find my son. Robert Longinus. I already sent my artifact for him. Find him and protect him. He will be the one to realize your dreams."
"Y-Your son? " The two finally regained their bearings. But their hearts are still filled with hatred towards the people who killed their master.
"Yes my son. Find him. Follow him like I''m him, and also. Kindly forgive him If he''s lacking. "
"Yes!" The two intently howled.
"The only regrets that I have in my life is that I didn''t spend much time with my son. I immediately left him before he had his own mind, and only left him that medallion. " The solidified figure of Sofia Longinus turned static.
"Master!"
"Teacher!" The two''s eyes became filled with tears again. They couldn''t believe that the strongest teacher that they ever had would part with them like this.
"It looks like my time is up. Thank you. Ashura, Kaila." Sofia''s figure turned to a blur and disappeared to countless light particles. Sofia''s tattered body also turned to countless light particles, and a small necklace was left. Next to the necklace was a note.
Ashura picked up the note and Kaila picked up the necklace. With a steeled voice. Ashura said "Let''s go. Let''s fulfill masters wish."
With a blur. The two streaked the skies heading northeast. To the Longinus Kingdom.
...
In the vibrant skies above the mountain range of living plants. A blur slowly solidified as he glanced below him. "It''s this place right? " Asmodeo turned to a blur and arrived on the ground below. With his descent. The space itself trembled, and small invisible space ripples spread around the area.
"Who are you?" A cold icy voice rang from behind, Her voice carried a hint of worry in it.
Asmodeo turned and found a thin man beside the woman, and Sahhad and the others were behind them, Realizing the current situation. Asmodeo returned the favor and said. "Looks like you two came to my master''s grave."
Hearing this. The two''s eyes widened and retreated backwards. "Who the hell are you?! Are you Robert Longinus?!" Ashura spoke in an alarmed voice. Kaila signed the air with her hands and a translucent rune carving appeared in mid-air.
With a crackling blue light, A small dragon formed with lightning flew from the mark, and aimed to pierce Asmodeo.
"Hmm... Lightning Element, Six star spell. Dragon Lightning." Asmodeo calmly deciphered the spells identity and with a wave of his hand. The spell immediately scattered to pieces and absorbed by a strange mark on Asmodeo''s forehead.
"Let boulders crash this foe!" Ashura activated his Judgement magic and countless streams of rocks flew towards Asmodeo.
"Judgement type magic... Roughly Seven star. " Asmodeo sighed to himself and placed his palm on the ground. Immediately. The flight of the boulders stopped and lifelessly fell to the ground.
"Spell cancelling?!" Alarmed. Kaila leaped to try physical attacks. But just as she was about to strike Asmodeo with her palm. A strange gravitational change made her struck the ground instead.
The unconscious bodies of the spectators fell, Sahhad also fell to the ground.
"What the hell did you do?!" Ashura howled towards Asmodeo.
"Nothing. Just typical Gravitational Field, and also you got it wr-"
"Impossible! A gravitational field as strong as that?! Are you kidding me?!" Kaila interjected Asmodeo''s sentence. With a sigh. Asmodeo finally decided to let Robert regain his mind.
"Huh? What happened? Why Am I here?! Why does my head hurt? What the? Ah! Sahhad!" The frantic Robert saw the fallen Sahhad and ran towards him.
"Sahhad! What the hell happened?!" The last thing Robert remembered was they were attacked by Guillermo''s group, and a voice rang from the broken sword then black out.
"Ah! " Robert saw the grim scene around. Several bodies of the knights that accompanied Guillermo littered the ground, and behind him. Two figures of strangers blocked his view.
"Milords! " Robert frantically bowed. He noticed that just looking at those two alone made his heart clench, and made him hard to breath.
"Tell us, Are you Robert Longinus or not?!" The two figures smiled and smashed the ground. The ground immediately turned to dusts as their fiery battle qi materialized.
"D-Did I get myself to trouble?!" Robert internally shouted as he tried to recall the recent events. But disappointingly he couldn''t remember an ounce of what happened.

{RRCS] Little Roberts Question.
Year 6986 of the Fallaciae Calendar, December 25
One evening of December 24. Little Robert was quietly playing with his mother. Little Robert suddenly stopped. His mother''s eyes widened and said.
"Little Robert, Why did you stop? " Sofia mirthfully smiled to his son. Her jaded eyes glinted with happiness.
"Uhmm... Mother, Why does Snow Festival exist? And why is it cold?" Little Robert slowly said to his mother as he glanced towards the skies. The snowflakes falling from skies were beautiful to behold.
"My Little Robert, There''s actually a tale for that. The tale of happiness and festivities. Now let me ask you, Why do we celebrate Snow Festival again?" Sofia softly replied to his son. Her son''s eyes lit up. and Little Robert slowly said.
"Because, It remembers us of sir Wushan''s great sacrifice!" Little Robert enthusiastically said.
"Ohoho... My son really is bright. " Sofia patted his son on his head and Little Robert smiled as his cheeks turned slightly rosy.
"But mother, What was sir Wushan''s sacrifice again?" Little Robert warily said.
"Aw... You forgot the story? Hahaha, Okay, okay I''ll tell you again." Sofia''s mirthful visage remained. Her jaded eyes seemed to shine before the falling snowflakes. Sofia supported his little son to stood up and said.
"Once upon a time, There lived a great blacksmith. His name is Wushan. One time, The great continent of Yoke was faced with a great disaster. A huge behemoth that is as tall as the heavens threatened the people. The huge behemoth wanted sacrifices, and so. The King offered everything he had, But alas, It was not enough.
After countless times of thinking. The King thought of a solution. That is, To create a divine artifact! A weapon that can shatter the earth and pierce the heavens!"
"Ohh!!" Little Robert''s eyes lit up and said "Continue! Continue!"
"Hahaha, Don''t be so hasty my son. Okay then, Let''s continue." Sofia arranged her posture and her jaded hair fluttered in the air. Sofia then clutched her son again on her bosom and said.
"The King then hired every blacksmith across the continent. While the other people tried their best to delay the monster''s rampage. The King fell to despair as no one succeeded in creating a divine artifact! The King tried his best to appease the monster''s needs, But then again, He failed.
The huge behemoth again awakened and slammed his fists on the ground. The once huge continent of Yoke, Broke apart. The gap between the two continents that was created by the behemoths fists was then called The Sea of Despair. It was named by the King''s emotions. He felt much despair that he didn''t eat for years! The only thing that supported him was his enormous battle qi reservoir!" Sofia once again arranged her posture and glanced at the starry skies. Her son also gazed with him. Sofia once again continued and said.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
"But the heavens didn''t let the people suffer! A mysterious vagabond appeared! He repelled the huge behemoth and created the Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing Sword!, The enigmatic vagabond was sir Wushan! He introduced himself as a renowned blacksmith and promised the King to vanquish the behemoth! And so, In a desperate fight on the night of December 24, Sir Wushan was heavily wounded."
"The two utilized their supreme attacks and attacked each other! Sir Wushan used his Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing Sword and hacked the huge behemoth to dusts! While the huge behemoth utilized its fist and punched Sir Wushan. "
"Unfortunately, Sir Wushan didn''t survive the attack. His body flew from the Sea of Despair to the capital of the Yoke continent. The Longinus Kingdom!"
"The Longinus Kingdom?!" Little Robert suddenly interjected. His eyes filled with excitement. "Continue! Continue!"
"Yes, yes my son." Sofia patted her Little Robert and continued.
"Sir Wushan''s body crashed in the imperial palace. His body was severely injured. The King immediately utilized all his healing forces and even used the forbidden rank spell Circle of Wish just to heal sir Wushan, But unfortunately, Not only his body was damaged. His soul was also severely damaged. No one was able to heal sir Wushan''s desperate soul. "
"Before sir Wushan died. He left the care of the divine artifact to the King. Since sir Wushan binded the sword to his soul. He was able to summon it once again, But the sword was broken. The King fetched the sword and tried to repair it, But the techniques sir Wushan used were very eccentric. No one succeeded in repairing the Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing sword."
"In his deathbed, sir Wushan said, ''Great King, Don''t worry. Even though I will die, I will watch over your kingdom. If your kingdom remains righteous. I will continue my will and protect this place at all cost. The place where I experienced countless challenges, and sorrows. I will never forget my stay here.'' Sir Wushan finally died, and miraculously his body disintegrated to countless snowflakes. On that day. Countless snowflakes rained upon the Longinus Kingdom. "
"Little Robert, That''s the legend of Sir Wushan''s sacrifice. He died protecting our Kingdom. Protecting our people" Sofia said in a solemn tone.
"Thanks, Mother!" Little Robert leaped and kissed his mother on her cheeks.
Chapter 4: Dissatisfaction.
The red brazen sky illuminated the mountain range of living plants'' intense atmosphere. There stood three figures. One was a jade green haired woman which gave off a pristine aura. While the other was a thin man. Though his appearance cannot hold what he was, His gaze alone was exalted.
The latter was a brown eyed youth paired with a shiny black hair. Although the three were actually of the same age. The aura that the former two gave made the latter bow in fear.
"I''ll repeat. Are you Robert Longinus or not?" Ashura spoke in a careful manner, If this youth was really Robert. He would be damned if he offended him. Kaila just nodded with Ashura''s sentiment and carefully glanced at the youth before her.
"He doesn''t look like Teacher Sofia at all." Kaila sighed to herself. "But we can''t really doubt this necklace that teacher gave." Kaila peeked at the necklace on her hands.
"Milords, You''re suspicions are right. I am indeed, Robert Longinus." Robert solemnly said. His head still bowing down, and so, He couldn''t see the two''s reaction.
Because of the deafening silence. Robert''s patience left him and he raised his head to look. "Eh?" Robert became flabbergasted.
"L-Lord Robert?" Ashura astoundingly said.
"This guy is Robert?" Kaila was also shocked.
The two slowly averted their gaze and looked at each other.
"He doesn''t look like Master Sofia at all!" "He doesn''t look like Teacher Sofia at all!" The two exclaimed at the same time. They rubbed their eyes and glanced back at the dumbfounded Robert.
"Hey, Hey, Hey. What''s the name of your mother?!" Ashura quickly asked.
"Milords, Why do you ask?" Robert questioned their sudden change of attitude, But his tone still had a hint of respect in them.
"Nothing! Just answer our questions!" Kaila interjected. Robert''s eyes widened and said. " My mother is Mother Sofia, Are you perhaps an acquaintance? " Robert didn''t even finish his sentence before the pupils of the two widened.
The two adjusted their posture, bowed and said. "L-Lord Robert! "
"E-e-eh?! Wh-what are you saying milords?" Robert swiftly said, Because he himself was weak. He couldn''t bear the sight of being respected by strong people.
"Don''t call us milords! We are here on Master Sofia''s orders! We must protect you!" Ashura steeled his resolve and said.
"Yeah, yeah. We must protect you, But keep yourself from becoming a luggage!" Kaila''s icy voice emanated.
"Mother''s orders? Hey, Did they spoke the truth? Is my mother dead?" Robert''s voice become hoarse and brittle. He couldn''t speak clearly because of the sorrow he suddenly felt. Being reunited with acquaintance was nothing, He longed for his mother.
*Bang
Robert fell on his knees. Streams of tears fell from his eyes. He couldn''t help but be returned to the child he was years ago. He remembered the precious times he and his mother spent. The story about the great Wushan. Every memory he had with his mother.
He cried as he remembered it all.
"Please! Tell me! Is mother dead?!"
"Please... Please tell me that she''s alive..."
"Robert." The two couldn''t address their emotions, They too were affected. They also couldn''t help but feel teary eyed. Ashura rubbed his two eyes and Kaila rubbed the corner of his eyes.
"Robert, Don''t be too sad! Death and Life is applicable to all life! " Ashura firmly clutched Robert''s shoulders, and there he saw, Robert''s crying figure. It was too sad to behold.
"I understand, I understand. " Robert vigorously rubbed his eyes and slowly stood up. He dusted his clothes and hoarsely said. "But I must know where mother''s grave is! And who killed him!"
"Don''t worry Robert, We know where your mother is." Kaila finally calmed down and said in a low voice.
"Where?!" Robert turned back in that instance and approached Kaila. He held Kaila''s two hands and asked. "Where is mother? Bring me to her!"
"Don''t worry Robert, We''ll let you visit your mother, But first. Enlighten us. Did you obtained your mother''s artifact?" Ashura interjected with a steely voice.
"Artifact? I haven''t got anything! What I got is the divine artifact that landed on James City! It''s not mothers artifact!" Robert gravelly said.
"No artifact? But your mother clearly said that she sent her artifact to you!"
"That''s also what I heard Robert, Please don''t lie to us! The artifact is very precious to behold. If you really want that artifact that much. We must test you! Someone incompetent must not handle the Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing Sword carelessly!" Kaila also steeled his resolve. She didn''t care offending her teacher''s son for the sake of the artifact.

"I really didn''t get any artifact from mother! I swear." Robert protested.
"I see. Then there''s nothing to fear right? If you really don''t posses the artifact. Let us hypnotize you, With that we will know the truth." Ashura also didn''t care of offending his master''s son for the sake of the artifact.
Robert staggered. He slowly took several step backwards. "Damn it! Are these guys really my mother''s friend? " Robert glanced at the unconscious Sahhad, and gulped a mouthful of saliva and said."I''m sorry, Sahhad." Teary eyed, Robert bent his knees and ran at full speed.
The ground was buried deep by Robert''s feet. He immediately crossed a distance of twenty meters with a full step. His stamina capability weren''t inferior compared to seven star warriors, and so Robert was confident that he could at least outrun these two supreme experts.
"Running?!" Ashura howled at the distant figure of Robert.
"I''m sorry, Master Sofia, This is for the sake of the artifact!" Kaila gravelly bellowed and signed the air with her hands and a translucent green marking appeared mid-air. With her command. The markings light intensified and fast moving vines appeared from the rune.
They aimed at Robert''s distant figure.
"Let nature imprison this foe!" Ashura activated his battle qi and judgement type magic. He then slammed the ground with his palm sending the ground before him to ashes.
"These people are monsters! How can they still target me from this far!" Robert''s adrenaline levels were alerted, But he was on his limit. "Damn It!"
*Thud
"Eh?"
*Bang
For a moment, Robert felt his feet hitting a huge obstacle. Then crash. The obstacle immediately dissipated. The dumbfounded Robert held his bloodied head. His crash was quite hard. He was running at full speed then suddenly crashed.
"Ugh..." Robert moaned in pain. "Am I gonna die? " Robert thought to himself as he saw the two approaching figures.
The jaded figure of a woman first appeared. She signed the air with her hands and a small translucent purple marking appeared mid air. Robert felt dizzy, and lost consciousness.
"Stop acting tough when you can''t even take a low level hypnosis technique." Kaila cursed to herself and approached the brown haired youth on the ground.
"He really doesn''t look like teacher."
A blur slowly solidified to a human figure. Ashura leaped from the skies to the ground, But this time. No explosions happened.
"Kaila, What happened here?" Ashura approached the pensive Kaila from behind.
"Ashura, So you already arrived. I just used low level hypnosis magic on this kid and he immediately fell. Too weak! For him to be our teacher''s son, Inconceivable!" Kaila slightly cursed and looked at the unconscious Robert.
"Huh?! Where is he?!" Kaila''s eyes widened. On the ground where Robert was laying. She only saw the green grass. No hints of Robert.
"Hmm? Didn''t you say that you catched him? Did he escaped again? " Ashura frowned and was about to say something before losing consciousness. An immaterial attack struck him from behind and shook his unprotected soul.
Due to his sudden silence. The flabbergasted Kaila turned and only saw the unconscious Ashura from the ground before she herself lost consciousness.
"Hmm... Weak. To think that they contested for the artifact. " A blur slowly solidified and a cold icy voice rang.
"Little Robert, Thank your mother for her protection. But now that she''s not here. Who''s gonna protect you?"
"But to think that you already became strong that you even defeated Count Guillermo''s forces. Hahaha, as your father. I''m quite proud!" The blur already solidified and the exalted visage of King Luis can be seen. With his thin figure. There was a grim smile.
"To think that after all this years of sacrifice, I would stumble upon the Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing Sword!" With a howl of laughter. King Luis threw Robert on his shoulders and clutched Ashura and Kaila with his hands.
"Let there be wind to ride! " King Luis figure emanated a green glow before disappearing into the horizon.

Chapter 5: The True Might of the Divine Artifact.
Year 6997 of the Fallaciae Calendar, Longinus Kingdom''s Palace. 40 minutes before Dissatisfaction.
King Luis attentively gazed at the platform. On the platform, There was a small floating orb. It had a transparent color, As transparent as water. This was a three star spell called Eyes of Omni. King Luis activated the spell to secretly scout on the unguarded Count Guillermo as he pursued Robert for the divine artifact.
At first, Count Guillermo dominated Robert. It can be seen that Robert crumbled on his knees.
"Hmm?" King Luis saw that Count Guillermo''s face became filled with dread and a significant transformation of Robert''s body had taken place. His eyes became scarlet red, and an ominous aura was emanated from him.
Count Guillermo ran and streaked towards the horizon. The Eyes of Omni followed Guillermo through the skies. He kept looking behind as If running from someone.
A blur slowly solidified. A human figure slammed Count Guillermo to the ground. A small man shaped hole was made on the ground. The human figure again turned to a blur and appeared on ground.
King Luis could decipher that Count Guillermo was saying something. The human figure instantly appeared before Count Guillermo and clutched his neck. Struggling for air. Guillermo desperately kicked the human figure. After a while, Count Guillermo finally passed away.
"!" King Luis couldn''t help but be startled that he stood up.
"Is that Robert?" King Luis uttered. The strange human figure in the floating orb resembled the figure of Robert Longinus.
"Damn it! Does this mean that he already found out?! I can''t keep quiet here!" King Luis tracked Robert with his Eyes of Omni and streaked through the horizon. To the mountain range of living plants.
...
Year 6997 of the Fallaciae Calendar.
"Hmm..." Robert stretched his tired body. An irritating pungent smell spread around the area. Robert opened his eyes to see.
"Where am I?" Robert uttered. In front of him was an iron bar that blocked his way outside. He stood up and walked around the narrow cell. Just from the scene alone in front of him. He could see that he has been imprisoned.
After walking back and forth endlessly. Robert finally calmed down and seated himself. He glanced at his hands and called "Asmodeo." After a few seconds of futile waiting. No response were heard.
Beaded sweats formed on his forehead as he thought of all the possibilities. "Damn, I need to calm down." Robert took several deep breaths before finally calming down. He glanced at the iron bar in front of him and thought. "It should fit."
Robert stood up and walked to the iron bar. In the gap between the iron bars. Robert stuck his head outside and looked around with his eyes. "There are other cells like this? Maybe they''re here too." Robert thought of Sahhad. He wasn''t foolish enough to shout.
Robert seated himself again and thought. "Damn those two! They said that they were my mother''s acquaintance, But what they had was ill intents!" Robert slightly cursed.
Painstakingly waiting as time ticks by. Robert couldn''t help but shout. "Sahhad! Sahhad are you there?!" His voice resounded around the thick walls of concrete. He could hear his voice coming back to him.
"Robert?! Are you there?" A mirthful familiar voice replied.
"This voice..." Robert remembered the wielder of this icy cold feminine voice and shouted. "Kaila?! Are you imprisoned as well?!" Robert hurriedly walked towards the iron bars and stuck his head. A fiery red haired head also greeted him outside the iron cell. Her head also stuck from the inside.
"Robert! It really is you! It looks like the heavens didn''t let us down!" Kaila''s eyes glinted with hope.
"What the hell are you saying? You threatened me earlier and now you act like this? Shameless! You even posed as my mother''s acquaintance! I can''t hope to forgive you!" Robert vented his rage out and howled. He then removed his head from the outside and calmly seated.
"Robert? I''m really sorry that time. We were just being protective about the artifact! It can''t fell to the wrong hands!" Ashura''s gravelly voice rang. Still, Robert didn''t believe. He just cursed at himself and silently commended the two for their good acting.
For Robert, The two''s statements were honeyed. He can''t actually believe the words of the people who tried to kill him.
"Robert! Hear us! We have an option of how to get out here, But we need your help!" A feminine ringing voice can be heard. Robert frowned slightly before saying.
"And what is that option?" He said this so in a rasping voice.
"That''s to use your divine artifact!" Kaila interjected.
"I can''t even mentally connect to my divine artifact let alone summon it!" Robert slightly cursed to himself. Still, He didn''t leak the information of his divine artifact.
After a few seconds of deafening silence. An enthusiastic pressing voice shouted. "Now, Summon it. Robert!"
Robert''s pious figure shook. He then glanced at the ceiling, with pensive thought. Robert said."Why are you really sure that I have that alleged divine artifact from Mother Sofia?" Robert''s low voice resounded.
"Naive Kid! Do you think that we aren''t your mother''s disciples?! If we aren''t. Why would we even waste time on you? Supreme experts like us won''t even think of you as something special!" Ashura''s steeled voice rang. Robert was then convinced by their identities.
A small arc formed from his lips. Looking at the ceiling. He strengthened his resolve. "Mother, You really are unpredictable! To think that you took these two as your disciples! Who knows what you''re thinking." Robert stood up and dusted himself.
With his steeled resolve. Robert finally said." If the two of you are lying to me then I won''t forgive you two until I die!"
As a reply. The two chortled and said. "Yeah, Okay, okay. Just summon it already!" Ashura was the first to reply while Kaila just laughed.
Robert stretched his right arm. He closed his eyes and took several deep breaths before shouting. "Attend me! Asmodeo!"
A resounding ringing sound penetrated through the concrete hallway. A fiery flash of light flew towards Robert''s cell. Robert couldn''t withstand the sensation of the penetrating sound and crumbled on his knees. Several invisible space ripples spread from the broken sword. The ripples cracked the concrete walls around the area.
After a while. The sound finally ended and a fiery battle qi sprouted from the broken sword before him. This was definitely his divine artifact. Although he still didn''t bound it by blood. It replied with his call.
Robert gratefully sighed and said." Thank you, Asmodeo." Robert clutched the sword and a fiery red battle qi emanated from his body. He suddenly felt like a new man. His body felt unimaginably fresh, as if he had gotten rid of an extremely huge burden. Robert could feel power surging inside him.
Robert then hacked the sword towards the iron bars, and a space ripple exploded. Immediately turning the iron bars to dusts.
"Powerful. Truly powerful. " Ashura couldn''t help but exclaim in praise. Although he had judgement type protective spells on him. He still felt that heart clenching aura encapsulating his body.
*Bang!
With an explosion. The concrete cell where Ashura and Kaila was exploded. The two immediately went out and saw the fiendish figure of the Robert that wielded their master''s divine artifact. They couldn''t even utter a word just from seeing Robert''s visage.
Robert''s scarlet eyes gazed at Ashura. Ashura felt his flight or fight response exploding in fear. His mind raised its alert levels to the roof and removed the limits it imposed on Ashura''s body to prepare to flee at high speed, But thankfully. The figure before them was not an enemy. If it was. Ashura would already be dead.
Kaila also felt dizzy, and swayed on Ashura''s shoulders. Ashura wanted to speak but the aura spreading from Robert made them shut up.
"Ashura, Bring Sahhad and the others to a safe place. I''m at my limit. I can''t withstand Asmodeo''s dominating presence anymore. Hurry! After escaping here! Go to a safe place. I will contact you with this scroll. " With a wave. A scroll appeared from thin air. Robert clutched the scroll and threw it towards Ashura.
Ashura immediately clutched the scroll and covered Sahhad and the others with judgement type protective spells. Signing the air. Ashura broke the concrete wall in front of him and escaped at full speed.
Robert barely prevented Asmodeo''s takeover and smiled. "Be safe."
"This Kid is quite skillful." Asmodeo couldn''t help but praise Robert. Since he was able to keep him at bay from taking over.
"But it seems like this is his limit." Asmodeo revealed a grim smile and proceeded to takeover Robert''s body.
"Arggh! " Robert cried in pain as his soul repeatedly shook.
"Stop resisting! Or else I might damage your soul. We can''t afford to do that." Asmodeo mentally connected to Robert''s consciousness.
The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
"Asmodeo!" Robert shouted with his last might before succumbing to a stupor.
The exploding battle qi was calmed and retracted to the broken sword. Asmodeo revealed a grim smile and flew to the outside world.
Outside was a vast area of trees. Asmodeo could only see trees despite him travelling high up in the air. Asmodeo smiled to himself and said. "What a useless trick. So this is how you trapped those people you killed." With a casual slash. Asmodeo broke the space itself and a huge rip appeared in the space.
The huge rip spanned several hundred meters across and the rip gradually spread apart. Eventually covering the world where Asmodeo is.
"Hmmph." Asmodeo snorted as the world crumbled itself. The scenery distorted and the vast trees was replaced by a deserted barren land.
"Ohoho... So you managed to escape the illusion. Quite a handful of you." An olden voice rang from behind. Asmodeo quickly turned. He only saw the vast endless starry skies before a sound again resounded. "Robert, Or is it. Asmodeo?"
"Tssk... Come out already!" Asmodeo howled, and a gusts of wind spread apart.
"Just calm down. I''m just here." A familiar noble figure solidified from a blur. Asmodeo immediately recognized it and shouted. "You old fool! Do you think you''re able to defeat me?!" "I''m not the Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing Sword for nothing! "
At the mention of the Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing Sword. King Luis slightly frowned. "You''ll see." With a grim smile. King Luis disappeared to thin air.
"Gah!" A flaring pain soared through Asmodeo''s consciousness, and he was forced to slam to the ground.
"Hahaha! Is this really the coveted divine artifact? How weak!" King Luis again disappeared. Asmodeo exploded with battle qi and howled. "You shameless bastard! Do you really think you''ll overpower me?!" The enraged Asmodeo exploded with a fiendish red aura.
"I, Luis Longinus. Hereby asks of the holy element scattered across the continent. Gather with my heed and form a sword!" King Luis spread his palm opened and a small orb of white light materialized. It''s light alone made Asmodeo''s heart clench.
"You heathen! You dare utilize the holy element?! You''re asking for your death!" Asmodeo howled towards the smiling Luis.
Out of the natural elements. The holy element is the harder to utilize. Utilizing it alone costs great risks, and if you''re somehow capable of utilizing the holy element. You would be able to use it in two moves alone and the burden it places on your body may make you a cripple for life. And so, No one in history except Sir Wushan utilized the holy element.
Asmodeo naturally complained. The holy element was his greatest rival. If someone like sir Wushan appears, and he had an enmity towards Asmodeo. Asmodeo could only surrender his life. Now that someone appeared here. Asmodeo could feel his heart clench.
"Hahaha! Scared?! Don''t worry. I will ease your death. You won''t suffer useless suffering. If you hadn''t done that thing a long time ago. We would''ve become great friends." King Luis gravelly said.
"But Alas, Fate has led us to this, and so, I need to finish you. Remember that this is for the sake of humanity. Not for my kingdom alone." King Luis then exploded with battle qi as he turned to a blur.
"Damn it!" The frantic Asmodeo signed the air with his hands. A small translucent rune marking appeared mid air. The marking dissipated to Asmodeo''s body.
"Eat this!" King Luis'' body solidified behind Asmodeo. Asmodeo slashed his broken sword in return.
"Hmmph!"
*Clang
With a monstrous explosion. The two struck each other''s weapon, and space itself trembled. The quivering space in front of them was on the verge of breaking, But it immediately repaired itself and the previous calm returned.
King Luis smiled towards the grim Asmodeo and said "As expected of a divine resemblance. I couldn''t defeat you with one holy strike, But now? "King Luis raised his arms in a stance.
"Downward slash." Asmodeo murmured and exploded to retreat.
"You cannot escape!" King Luis also exploded in speed and in a matter of seconds. Reached the panicking Asmodeo. Asmodeo was only an arms reach from King Luis.
"Holy Judgement!" King Luis'' holy sword intensified with holy light exploded with an enourmous holy qi. Asmodeo could only curse as the sword neared his body.
"Damn it. Sofia, It looks like I need to use your presence a bit." As the huge sword neared Asmodeo''s body. The broken sword ignited with a holy aura. The translucent gem embedded between the sword''s handle and the blade was now colored with a hint of red light.
The gem floated mid air and its light intensified. King Luis'' holy sword was evaded by a small margin. King Luis cursed as the momentum carried him towards the ground.
"True Might!" Asmodeo howled and the floating gem dissipated to countless translucent particle rays. The particle rays shot up towards the heavens and formed a familiar figure. Jade green eyes, Jade green hair, and a noble exalted aura. With a green robe. A familiar figure descended.
Asmodeo slammed to the ground and solemnly bowed. "My creator. Sister Wushan." The feminine figure of Wushan descended. Her monotone voice resounded. "Why did you summon me from the netherworld, Asmodeo?"
"I couldn''t help it! A strange person wielded holy element to its limits like its nothing! I became stuck with a bottleneck! " Asmodeo nagged and his puffed his cheeks. His visage was like a spoiled brat being scolded by his mother. The only difference was the figure before him was her sister. The savior of the Yoke continent! The person known as Wushan!
King Luis'' teeth chattered."Th-this aura... Ar-are you r-really... "
"Hmm... So that''s the person eh..."
"By the looks of him, He''s the current king right?" Wushan glanced at Asmodeo who only nodded in response.
"Then I can''t kill him." Wushan said in a monotone voice.
"Why?! He threatened to kill my previous master and even tried to kill my current master!" Asmodeo interjected.
"Is this true?" Wushan intently gazed at the dread filled King Luis.
"Ye-"
"Don''t bother response. I already scanned your memories." Wushan sighed.
King Luis eyes became filled with shock. "To scan a person''s mind without that person knowing how powerful is she?!" King Luis sighed to himself, But he still had his hope. Hope that Wushan wouldn''t kill him.
"Then King Luis. As the Eighteenth King of the Longinus Kingdom that I myself established. Won''t you please stop bothering my little brother? Also, Stop pursuing his master." Wushan said in a flat voice.
"O-Of course! Had I known that he was your brother I wouldn''t be so disrespectful to bother them!" King Luis immediately replied.
"Then, Go. Don''t cause trouble anymore."
"Y-yes!" With a blur, King Luis shot at full speed and ran.
"T-thank the heavens! I was able to escape Sir Wushan''s anger, But I haven''t heard of it. To think that Sir Wushan was actually a woman!" King Luis felt relieved and used all his might to escape.
"Sister, How could you just let him escape!" Asmodeo again nagged at the silent Wushan.
"My little brother, Do you remember the pact that I made with the Longinus Kingdom?" Wushan smiled and glanced at the curious Asmodeo.
"I haven''t"
"Ah." Wushan''s head hung low and she explained. "You really are helpless. My pact that time was to protect their Kingdom from harm! As long as their Kingdom remains righteous, I would endlessly help them! and look at you! You almost got killed by the King itself! I didn''t send you here to cause trouble" Wushan scolded the pouting Asmodeo. Asmodeo just nodded over and over.
"I really hope that you understand. And don''t worry. That King won''t dare cause trouble for you again." Wushan smiled and patted Asmodeo''s head. "I''m coming back now. Summon me if you need anything." Wushan''s figure became encapsulated by a green light. The light then dissipated to countless drops of waters and formed a translucent jewel. The jewel flew and attached itself to the broken sword.
Asmodeo sighed and said "I guess so." With a wave, The broken sword disappeared to thin air.
"Oh, There they are." Asmodeo glanced at the distant figure approaching. Ashura.
With a blur, Asmodeo disappeared and appeared behind the running Ashura. With a tap. Ashura immediately stopped and said. "Sir Asmodeo, Don''t scare me like that." Ashura sighed and took several deep breaths.
"Oh, You know my name? "
"Yes, Master Sofia mentioned you often."
"Hmm... What a hectic master she was." Asmodeo complained and the two laughed.
"By the way, Did you finish the task I assigned you?" Asmodeo stopped his laughter and said.
"Yes, yes. I placed them at Storm City. Shall we go?" Ashura smiled and glanced at a distance place.
"Let''s go." Asmodeo replied in a monotone voice.
The two then transformed to a blur and disappeared to the horizon.

Chapter 6: Exodus and Enmity.
The Yoke Continent. A huge continent spanning about 17.30 million square miles. This huge continent is actually split in half. The southern part of the youth continent consists of nine duchies and the Longinus Kingdom at the center. While the northern part of the continent is a one large empire called Trinity Empire.
There are other small archipelago''s near the Yoke Continent, But all of them were united as a country called Xianxia Independent Countries. They ranked three at trading prospects and a huge supplier of beasts cores. Of which is a great component for crafting.
Although the Yoke Continent is a super continent. There are still other continent next to the Yoke Continent, But due to insufficient technologies to explore them. There is only little information available about the continent. The continent is called Dark Continent, Due to the countless doomed adventures made to reach them.
All the expeditions that tried to reach the Dark Continent ended up in failure. Some did not even return. Their fate unknown.
As for the climate. The eccentric climate of the northern part of the Yoke Continent made them to eventually invent a new invention called battle qi lights. Due to the long dark winters of the Trinity Empire. People became much more and more attributed to the Ice and Darkness Elements. Because of their strange abilities to control these elements. Their army assets ranks first in warfare.
As for the Longinus Kingdom. Their climate consists of only dry and wet season. Their tropical climate makes their areas a suitable habitat for poisonous snakes, frogs, and etc, But due to this. They were able to miraculously tap natures wonder for warfare use. They tapped the poisonous saliva of frogs for poisoning, Because of this. The Longinus Kingdom became the second strongest in warfare.
As for the Xianxia Independent Countries. They never engage in warfares, But they cannot be provoked. Their strength for survival alone made the two huge countries learn this lesson. And their utmost knowledge about the seas makes them formidable. Anyone who battles them at the sea would only be signing their own death certificate. Nevertheless, Their warfare power ranks the last. But as I said, They cannot be provoked.
...
Storm City A bustling city inside the provincial land of the third duchy. Located west from the Longinus Kingdom.
Two indistinct figures streaked across the brazen sky. Their speed casually reduced and their figures slowly solidified. They instantly arrived inside the Storm City.
The desolate area gave off a whistling sound of the wind. No souls can bee seen outside. This was the casual routine of Storm City''s residents. There are sights of beggars sleeping near house doors, and house dogs casually roaming the area.
The animals nearby ran around in fright by the sight of the two. Although their aura''s were retracted, Animals still had their keen perception. Making them notice the subtle aura changes.
The houses around the area were separated by sturdy wooden fences. Their backyard filled with bermuda grasses and nameplates hanged on their gates.
The two arrived near the desolate city gates. Though Storm City was developing city under the rule of Count Hegher. It was very barren at night. Due to the huge amount of beasts roaming outside the city. The Lord Mayor placed strict curfew for the people.
Because of the revolt risks. Count Hegher placed knights of seven star rank to impose the law. So, the city wasn''t barren as it seemed to be since police knights were still able to roam freely with the rule that they cannot go outside the city walls.
A police knight saw two humanly figures descended from the skies, and wondered. "Supreme experts? I can''t detect their auras." The police knight became frightened due to the two''s awe inspiring aura. But he still raised his chest high due to the fact that due to the strict law enforcement, Even supreme experts need to follow or else, They will be bombarded by the police knights strongest force.
The police knights strongest force consists of ten elite members ranging from eight stars to ten stars. They''re the one to soothe conflicts among supreme experts as well as punish does that violate.
Due to the elite force existence. His heart didn''t falter and approached the descended experts.
The two immediately noticed the police knights presence and turned.
"M-Milords, May I know what purpose do you have here tonight?" The police knight''s teeth momentarily chattered. The gaze that the two gaze was enough to be heart clenching.
"We''re here to go to a certain hotel." Ashura said in a monotone voice, He then pointed to a distant skyscraper. The police knight''s eyes momentarily widened before saying. "If that''s milords purpose then I won''t bother milords anymore." The police knight solemnly bowed and moved sideways.
"Wheew, That was frightening!" The police knight wiped his beaded sweats as he saw the back figures of the supreme experts. "But that one was weird, His eyes were scarlet red, and blue hairs. Was that even normal?" The police knight solemnly though to himself before saying. "Nah, It''s none of my business." He slowly strode afar and maintained his duty.
The chilling night blew whistling vibrant winds around the area. Asmodeo calmly walked forward as he approached the hotel which Ashura mentioned. Ashura also calmly walked as he advanced on steady feet. The awkward mood around the two were disturbed by a piercing shout.
"No!" A pain filled voice of a woman shook Asmodeo''s pensive mind. Asmodeo instantly swiped Storm City with his fiendish red aura. Causing everyone from eight stars and above to awaken in fear.
"What was that?! "
"What the hell was that aura?!" Every experts screamed on their sleep, But when they woke up. The aura wasn''t there anymore.
"Asmodeo, What are you doing." Ashura''s chilling gaze swept by, He placed his intent gaze towards Asmodeo.
"Nothing, Just finishing someone useless." With a blur, Asmodeo disappeared from Ashura''s view and a pain filled shriek was heard. It was eventually replaced by the deafening silence of the night and Asmodeo returned from the place where Ashura was.
"Did you just?" Ashura''s eyes widened. Asmodeo just violated Storm City''s strict laws of fighting. Ashura also scanned the area with his aura, and sighed.
"It''s good that you didn''t kill him."
"Why would I do that?" Asmodeo smiled and calmly strode towards the protruding skyscraper.
...
Robert''s consciousness gradually returned. His blurred eyes gradually adjusted to the lights. As his consciousness became alive. Robert''s eyes widened. He immediately stood up and frantically shook his head. He definitely wasn''t in his house. Robert thought to himself as he approached the door.
"Wait." A pressing voice said from behind.
Robert turned and found the floating sword. It was the same appearance as ever. Even Robert couldn''t believe reality when he found out that the divine artifact he obtained was a broken ragged sword. But eventually, Robert found out that this sword was something divine.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
This sword already saved his life multiple times, and so. Robert mirthfully smiled when he found the floating sword.
"Asmodeo. What happened? The only thing I remembered was summoning you inside a concrete jail and that''s it! Black out."
"If you bind me with blood, You will know." The floating sword chattered as it casually floated in the air, Simply defying the rules of physics.
"Bind by blood?" Robert casually said and his eyes widened when he remembered that he still didn''t bind the sword as his own.
Seeing the expression on Robert''s face. Asmodeo said." Now you remember? Bind me already." Asmodeo pouted and the floating sword lifelessly fell.
"This bastard." Robert could only curse to himself as he clutched the sword. He then swiped his left hand with the sharp blade and let the blood flow to the sword.
Like a ferocious flood. Memories bombarded Robert''s mind. He clutched his head in pain as a foreign fiery battle qi covered his body. The fiery battle qi forcefully fused itself with Robert''s dantian. Causing a huge surge of pain. Robert''s face became ugly to behold and he rolled around the floor.
"Arggh!" Robert clenched his fists and teeth as he endured the heart clenching pain. He felt the fiery battle qi slowly dissipating and merging with his dantian. The pain furthermore increased that his back arched on the floor and his eyes turned scarlet red from screaming.
After ten minutes or so. The pain slowly evaporated and disappeared as if it didn''t exist.
"Hah... Hah..."
Robert struggled against his breath and took several deep breaths and relaxed. He then seated cross-legged. He felt a familiar surging feeling. His battle qi felt like rioting from the foreign battle qi, But the feeling eventually disappeared. What replaced it was a powerful surge of power.
It covered Robert''s whole body, Strengthening his teeth, bones, blood vessels, skin, every part of his body were strengthened.
Robert''s body gave a red fiendish glow as Robert calmly stabilized his breathing. This was the feeling he longed for. The feeling of breaking through! Robert discreetly smiled to himself as he slowly condensed the surging power into his dantian.
The surging power slowly calmed down and drunk by his dantian like water. The power evaporated to his dantian and strengthened his body. Robert slowly stood up. He inhaled the fresh air around the environment and gleefully smiled. "This is it! This is the feeling of breakthrough! Finally, Seven stars!" The teary eyed Robert commended himself at the same time.
"If I attended the age of coming ceremony right now. I would immediately pass!" Robert cursed to himself as he remembered his failure last year. But still, He was rejoiced. The feeling of entering the realm of Seven star was exhilarating itself!
"Wheew! Is breaking through Seven Stars really is this painful? " Robert wondered to himself. His past breakthroughs didn''t carry a hint of pain in them.
A deep voice penetrated his mind. "Congratulations, Master! " Robert shook his head and found that no one was nearby. He then glanced at the lifeless sword and wondered. "What was that?" Robert scratched his head in thinking.
The voice again penetrated and said. "This is Asmodeo, Master. Don''t be confused. Since you bound the sword by blood. I can easily mentally connect to you now. It was very tiring the last time." Asmodeo''s voice carried a hint of relief.
Robert nodded as he read about this already. Every bound divine artifacts are capable of mentally connecting to their owners. But those divine artifacts can only be counted by hand and so, Robert was very proud that he obtained such an artifact and at the same time. Thankful to his mother.
"By the way, Asmodeo. What was that extreme pain I felt earlier?"
"Ah! Master, That was my power strengthening your body. That''s because you were so weak last time that I needed to enhance you a bit! Hahaha!" Asmodeo casually laughed on Robert''s head. Robert slightly became irritated and replied "Ah! Stop talking in my head! It''s confusing!"
"Hahaha, Master didn''t like it? But don''t worry. You will soon be used to it! Hahaha!"
Asmodeo cheerfully teased the irritated Robert, He was irritated to the point that his ears had gone red. Asmodeo found this cute and his laugh furthermore increased in volume.
"Asmodeo, Did my father really betrayed me and mother?" Robert''s brittle voice spoke. His voice carried a hint of heartache.
Asmodeo''s laughter suddenly stopped. Asmodeo glanced at the heartbroken Robert and said. "Master, Don''t be too heartbroken. " Asmodeo also fell into deep thinking. The atmosphere between the two turned stupor.
"Ah! I forgot! We''re supposed to be summoned today to the Longinus Palace! Let''s go! Let''s go!" Asmodeo instinctively said, But he immediately recognized his mistake and revealed an ''Ah'' sound.
In the fact of Robert''s eyes, It was filled with unparalleled grief. He was almost on the brink of crying. Asmodeo silently commended him for his unwavering heart and sighed. Because Robert became his third master. Asmodeo also felt concern.
Time quickly passed. Robert already steeled his resolve and said. "Let''s go, Let''s wake Sahhad up and let''s go." Robert''s hoarse voice hastily said.
Asmodeo''s pensive mind also woke up. He instinctively mumbled before saying. "Where are we going to? Are we going to the palace?"
Robert shook his head and said. "No, We''ll go to the first duchy. My mother''s influence is quite great there. And I also had a scholarship certificate of their prestigious school. " With a wave, Robert retrieved a thick paper from his interspatial ring.
"Hmm... Institute of High Magics. " Asmodeo nodded in acknowledgement.
"From your memory. I gradually recognized some hotspots for staying when travelling towards the first duchy. " Robert smiled and turned to glance to a distant place.
"Are we not flying? Cause I really hate travelling mountainous areas. " Asmodeo slightly pouted.
"No, With the advent of airships, We can easily travel there, and luckily. Storm City has a port for those." Asmodeo''s eyes lit up. He became convinced and hastily said. "Airships?! Their expensive right? Can you pay for them? " Asmodeo enthusiastically said.
"Hahaha, Luckily. I had my mother''s interspatial ring delivered at James City and so..." With a wave, Several pouches of gold appeared on the bed. Each pouch held at least thousands of gold.
Asmodeo''s eyes became filled with enthusiasm and said. "Quick thinking! Now, Let''s go!"
Sahhad, Robert, and Asmodeo tracked their footsteps towards the first duchy. They''re now beginning their first travel to the outside world! Onwards to Institute of High Magics!

Chapter 7: Meteorite.
At this time, Two figures walked out from the hotel. Their smiles revealing utmost confidence. The noisy streets around brimmed with life. Completely opposite to the lifeless area around dusk. The two wonderfully moved. Their graceful fluid movements slipped easily from the crowd.
"Let''s buy something here, The displays are quite interesting. "
Robert slowly approached a nearby stall and enthusiastically picked something up. At a glance Robert whom was dressed in blue. Looked to be fourteen or sixteen of age, His skin coloring made him a particularly handsome youth. His fierce brown eyes and the look of surprise from his eyes extended to the bottom of his mind. His black hair gracefully fluttered in the wind.
"Young Master, There seems to be good stuffs there. Lemme help you pick. "
Sahhad mirthfully approached his master. His looks seemed to be on par with a forty year old man, His brown eyes were as transparent as water while gripped with excitement. His brown skin made it obvious that he baths himself on the sun often.
"Oh... Sir, Are you interested? We have here a battle qi increasing necklace! All yours for twenty golds!"
The nearby merchant rubbed his hands together in excitement. He then flashed his gaze towards the two. His eyes filled with anticipation. Noticing the sword behind the youngster, The merchant respectfully said. "Perhaps, Young master is a warrior? "
"Ahahaha, Yes I''m a Seven star warrior." Robert laughed and carefully inspected the necklace, His line of sight intently fixated on the jade green item.
"Asmodeo, What do you think?" Robert mentally connected to Asmodeo
"Uh? Obviously that''s fake. Look! Divert your battle qi on your eyes and see." Asmodeo snorted.
Small traces of battle qi traced itself to Robert''s eyes forming a reddish hue. "Hmm..." Robert carefully guided his battle qi on his eyes. He doesn''t dare to hastily do it since a small mistake may blind him.
"Ah!" Robert mentally exclaimed.
"See? Really fake." Asmodeo mentally said.
In the gem of the alleged necklace. There were small rocks that lighted on Robert''s battle qi. It gave off a violet hue, and a pungent smell. Robert slightly held his breath, and said. "Tuo Enchanting Rocks! Indeed it enhances the effect of battle qi, but the side effect is great. It will prevent you from further breakthroughs!" Robert mentally exclaimed. The merchant saw Robert''s gaze and said.
"Young Master, Is twenty golds so expensive? Then fifteen golds." The merchant hastily tried to wrap the necklace in a parchment.
"Stop! I''m not having that!" Robert slightly cursed and snorted. He then hastily left the stall and followed the flow of the crowd.
Due to the huge crowd, Robert could hardly breath as he squeeze himself towards their next destination. The Airship Port which was several hundred meters away from them. To Robert, These several hundred meters was like an eternity. If not because of his fluid movements around the crowd. He would have been trampled to death.
Robert couldn''t help but look with anticipation. Just how big are those airships?
With his arrival. Robert''s facial figure drastically changed. From excitement, shock to acquiescence. "These airships are really this big! It''s more bigger than I expected!" Robert could only utter in awe as he purchased a ticket and entered the first section.
According to the small blue map placed almost everywhere in the airship. This particular airship named ''TheAdventurer'' were separated by three sections. The first section, is the place where passengers should gather. While the second section is a market place with a circumference of several thousand meters. According to this small blue map. The second section is the biggest while the third section is the smallest.
As for the third section, not much information were disclosed, but according to the map. The third section houses VIP guest and wealthy proletariat.
Robert couldn''t help but smile in anticipation. Unknowingly, A desire to reach these two sections was planted on Robert''s mind.
Sahhad and Robert entered the humongous first section. As expected, according to the blue map. Its circumference was only about several hundred meters. But still, It was enough to house several hundreds of passengers. The airship itself was monstrous, so it was not weird for something this big to exist inside this kind of airship.
"Young Master, Let me find a place to seat." With a solemn bow, Sahhad left.
With Sahhad''s departure. The planted spark ignited. Robert immediately ran towards the descending stairs. Heading inside the second section.
With an astounded face as if he saw an inconceivable event. Robert''s face became riddled with all kinds of emotions. From amazement, awe, enthusiasm. Not only the huge amount of concentrated people shocked Robert. The pure golden statue of the three goddess also left a mark on Robert''s mind.
The three goddess of the Yoke Continent. Althea, Monicue, Farashia. All of the three were fantastically sculptured. These works of carving definitely were from a Grandmaster. The intricately designed patterns around the three, and the exotic expensive flowers around the sculpture were too beautiful to behold.
This scene alone made Robert sigh in amazement. Truly a work of wonder!
Robert took several deep breaths before calming down. He then descended down the stairs. The noise filled marketplace of the second section was something Robert didn''t expect. It was too noisy! Too noisy that Robert even staggered when he got down.
The sound of the machines working and the sound of noisy merchants persuading costumers are all around. Thanks to the machineries. Robert understood that the airship already departed. The merchants stalls were neatly arranged and numbered. Robert decided to cross these stalls and reach the vicinity of the goddess sculpture.
"Young Master, We have a bargain here! Take one take two!"
Several merchants persuaded him into buying, but according to Asmodeo''s memories that were passed onto him. These things around were nothing much. Robert gracefully moved around the crowd, As If the people were hollows. They didn''t hinder Robert''s moves by even a step.
Robert reached a steady area and found that the area where the goddess sculpture was too crowded. Even if Robert utilized his skills, He would still be impended, and due to his small body. He may be stomped to death. With a resigning sigh. Robert decided to go back. The experience of witnessing the sculpture alone was rewarding.
*Ring...
A resounding sound resonated. The origin was from Robert''s back. Robert immediately contacted Asmodeo inside the broken sword. "What is this? I feel dizzy, and a penetrating sound is invading me!" Robert inquired.
"Hah? What the hell are you say- Pfft!" Asmodeo didn''t even finish his sentence and was about to vomit blood when he noticed the strange terrifying resonance. The resonance came from the gem embedded in the broken sword.
"Hurry! Find the source of this palpitating sound! This time may be a treasure!" Asmodeo enthusiastically ordered. Asmodeo''s words shook Robert. He couldn''t help but feel excitement. A treasure? What kind of treasure it is that it resonated with my divine artifact? Robert couldn''t help but ask in his mind as he searched around the merchant stalls.
"There it is!" Robert cried to himself and desperately squeezed to the nearby merchant stall.
"Hmm... ''Detoxifying Grass'' ''Green Mountain Dew'' ''Sparkle Grass and a... Pfft!" Asmodeo once again didn''t finish his sentence and spewed. "A-a-a, A meteorite rock! What''s more, A fist size chunk?!" Asmodeo couldn''t help but shout in excitement. His enthusiasm reached its climax.
Robert also couldn''t help but feel excited. His heartbeat became erratic and slowly approached the merchant in a staggering way. The muscle filled merchant''s eyebrows frowned. Scanning the outfit of the youngster approaching him, He couldn''t help but sigh in disappointment. "Just an excited tourist, What a letdown."
The merchant squinted his eyes and saw an inconceivable object on his finger. "A-a-a, A spatial ring! What''s more a golden spatial ring! Th-this kid may not be of normal status!" As Robert approached. The merchant arranged his posture, cleared his throat and said in a respecting tone. "Y-young master, It''s an honor for me to grace your presence. Will you please let this merchant know what do you want? I will try to meet it with my all." The merchant slightly bowed.
Startled by the sudden respectful attitude from the merchant, Robert couldn''t help but stutter. "Can I ha-have this rock?" Robert pointed to the pitch black rock about the size of a fist. "Ah! Young Master! That rock is just a low level profound rock! I can give you that for free. I wouldn''t have young master to pay for such an insignificant profound rock!" The merchant smiled and hastily wrapped the pitch black rock with a red cloth.
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
"Th-thanks, also. Can I have all of these grass?" Noticing that Asmodeo exclaimed to him to obtain those grasses. Robert decided to buy all the stocks.
"Yes, certainly!" The merchant couldn''t help but feel teary eyed. Never in his life did he met this generous young master, Just what clan did he belong to? With his swift practiced move. The wrapping immediately finished after about five minutes.
"Young master, Since you''re benevolent enough to buy this insignificant me''s goods. I will give it to you with a thirty percent discount! It totals at thirty thousand golds!" The merchant respectfully said. And with a wave. Robert produced three pouches of gold. The gold fell heavily on the table and seeing the pouches. The merchant couldn''t help but again be moved.
"Thanks young master! I will remember this debt of mine!" The merchant said and rubbed the corner of his eyes. Robert just smiled and swiped the table. Placing all the wrapped items in his spatial ring.
Robert walked towards the first section with a smiling place. Not only did he get a good bargain about those products, He received a reasonable item that was enough to excite Asmodeo to the extent of almost drooling!
"Young Master? What happened to you?" Sahhad noticed the good mood that Robert exuded. Sahhad just frowned his eyebrows and inquired.
"Hahaha, nothing much happened. Just a streak of luck. Now, let''s go!" Robert pressed Sahhad further and the two headed towards their seating place.
According to the instructions placed on the back of their tickets. Since the two bought a particularly expensive ticket that was just one step away from the VIP. The two were free to go whenever they want in the airship with the exception of the third section and the place where prohibited areas signs are placed.
Sahhad led Robert to the place where he painstakingly searched and said. "Young master, we''ve arrived." With a smile, Sahhad squeezed himself inside the dark alleyway. The entrance was small that only one people at once were able to enter.
Inside, The area circled around just enough for the two to comfortably seat. Sahhad immediately consented for his master to sleep, and because Robert didn''t object. He immediately fell to deep sleep. As for Robert. He couldn''t stop his curiosity and took the small rock inside the spatial ring.
"Hmmph! How could they compare a low level profound rock to a meteorite rock! How disrespectful!" Asmodeo snorted and continued. "This item is a gift from the heavens yet they dare mock it!"
"Hrmmph!" Robert interjected by clearing his throat and said. "Asmodeo, Why do you regard this weapon so high?" Asmodeo''s attitude was very erratic. And so, Robert couldn''t help but inquire.
"Hah?! Are you stupid or what? A meteorite rock is too precious! It is able to create a divine artifact like this broken sword!" Asmodeo huffed and continued. "It was good that we detected this rock or else we would miss on such a treasure!"
"Pfft!" Hearing Asmodeo''s words. Robert couldn''t help but spew. "A-a-a, A divine artifact?!" Robert exclaimed in awe.
"Yes, a divine artifact! I can create a divine artifact out of this rock, but alas. This rock is too small to create a sword and so, I can only create a dagger. Nevertheless, Its power wouldn''t deteriorate. " Asmodeo sighed after explanation and the broken sword floated with his will.
Since Asmodeo was an ethereal figure living inside the broken sword. He was able to manifest its power and made it float with his will. The broken sword''s power that originated from the gem lustered in a pale blue light. The pale blue light from the gem flew towards the meteorite rock. Encapsulating it with its calming sheen.
The meteorite floated with the support of the pale blue light. And a small crack formed on the meteorite rock.
"Hmm... It''s harder than expected. This may take several hours!" Asmodeo said and finally fell silent. The astounded Robert could only stare in amazement. Would I really have a second divine artifact?
After half an hour. The meteorite rock crumbled to small pieces. The small pieces floated with the support of the pale blue light and gave of a radiance of its own. The scene felt like an isolated rainbow had manifested. The pieces of rocks radiated with its light.
After again half an hour. The small pieces of the meteorite rock became transformed as a liquid. This liquid formed a vortex in midair and constantly swirled about. Robert just stared and didn''t dare to move an inch. He was afraid that he may disturb Asmodeo''s concentration.
Disturbing a refiner''s concentration would be catastrophic. And so, For about two hours. Robert didn''t move an inch. Rather, he didn''t dare to do so. The vortex still swirled about, but familiar figure was being formed.
According to the distance that they need to travel before arriving at the first duchy. They would still need about ten hours before arriving. They had plenty of time.
The pale blue light vortex formed the liquefied meteorite rock into a familiar figure. It stretched into a thin ten inches dagger. The dagger''s hilt became filled with a fiery red aura. Coloring it as red. As for the cross guard, It was a coiling dragon.
The dagger alone was a full ten inches. As for the blade. Its luster reflected the pale blue light of the glow. The fiendish black dagger could only be described as incredible. Just looking at it made one''s heart clench.
The pale blue light then retracted towards the gem and the dagger lifelessly fell to the ground. When the dagger struck the ground. A small hole appeared on the wooden airship.
"Try it! It would certainly be good stuff!" Asmodeo chuckled and said. "Also, Since I used my power to protect you from these earlier mess, and created this dagger that can be considered as a Nonagon ranked dagger! And so, Don''t disturb me until we arrive. I need to recuperate." Asmodeo then sighed and fell to deep silence.
The broken sword also fell as beaded sweat formed on his forehead. Robert then clutched the broken sword and sheathed it on its back. As for the black dagger, He hesitated on clutching it until. "Robert! Don''t be so nervous! A divine artifact no matter how vile wont harm its master! Now try it! And also, because you''re too weak as of now. I hid two profound spells inside that dagger. You will feel it when you touch it." Asmodeo chortled then again fell into deep silence.
Because of that. Robert calmed himself and clutched the dagger. He could feel the surge of terrifying heart clenching aura swimming across his veins. The aura encapsulated his dantian and nurtured it. The name of the two profound spell appeared in Robert''s mind.
Perseverance. A profound spell that continuously nurtures your dantian even if sleeping or relaxing.
Thunderlord''s Decree. A profound spell that sends a heavenly lightning to strike an enemy.
Robert couldn''t help but smile in appreciation. He obtained such a strong divine artifact and two profound spells out of a meteorite rock! Robert couldn''t help but smile.
"Thank you." Robert inwardly thought as he thankfully clutched the black dagger with his palm.
"From today onwards. This black daggers name will become. ''Thuderlord''s Dagger of Judgement!'' " Robert picked a particularly long name for his second divine artifact. As for his first artifact. He obtained the name from Asmodeo''s memories. It was named as ''Redeemed Sword''.
*Boom!
A terrifying sound of explosion shook the entire airship, and a red light flashed inside. "Abandon Ship! Abandon Ship!" A continuous announcement resounded. Sahhad immediately woke up and said. "Young master! What exactly happened?!" Because of the sudden wake up. He was still drowsy but nevertheless regained his vigor.
"I also don''t know! Let''s go outside! " Robert shouted and the two squeezed themselves and got out. Outside were the red flashing lights and the red brazen sky. Robert could hear a nearby passenger shout. "Air Pirates! Prepare yourselves!" Among the rushing crowds. Robert fell silent.
"Air Pirates?"

Chapter 7: Bloodied Battlefield.
Countless human figures hovered outside the airship which Robert resided in. All of them wore the same outfits as the other. They circled the airship and bombarded it with all kinds of explosive devices, shaking the entire airship.
Still, due to the durability of the airship, it was still stable mid-air. Enabling all the passengers inside to prepare for the worst case scenario. According to the announcement. All the passengers must gather in first section and those people who are cultivators must go to the second section.
Robert broke a cold sweat as he ran towards the direction of the second section. Because Sahhad wasn''t a cultivator. He ordered him to go to the first section. Amidst the flashing lights. Robert safely arrived inside the second section.
The once lively and ruckus filled second section was now desolate. The merchant stalls'' merchandise were nowhere to be seen. The exotic flowers gathered near the goddess statues also disappeared.
Among the cultivators who gathered. Robert was the youngest. All of the people gathered were at least twenty and above. Upon arriving, disdain gazes was the only thing that Robert received from the cultivators.
Ignoring the hate from the nearby cultivators. Robert silently descended. Among the people inside. A person silently approached Robert and asked. "Kid, from what sect did you came from?" A muscle filled person donned with an iron equipments huffed.
"I didn''t come from any sect, I''m just a lone traveler." Obediently and respectfully replying, Robert slowly said.
With Robert''s reply, The nearby cultivators pierced him with gazes of envy. How could a fourteen year old youngster become a seven star cultivator? Such questions filled their minds. That''s the reason why the muscle man asked him with such a question first. They thought that Robert was a genius that came from a major sect.
In the topic of sects. In the whole Yoke Continent. Four major sects are present. The first is Skycloud Sect from the Xianxia independent countries. The second is Undying Sect from the fourth duchy. The third is the Ionic Sect from the Trinity Empire and the latter is the Azure Cloud Sect.
Their branches are scattered across the whole continent so it wasn''t weird for a random genius from some sect arrives in such a marvelous airship. And the issue is, he was a seven star cultivator! Robert''s reply was unexpected among the cultivators gathered, and as a consequence. Robert constantly received fierce hateful gazes.
So what if I''m not from some major sect? Can''t a young person like me become a cultivator? Robert steeled his mind with this questions. His unyielding attitude moved him forward towards the center of the second section.
A man wearing a tuxedo stood on the platform. He constantly arranged his clothing and as if ignoring the current peril, mirthfully smiled to the approaching cultivators.
The muscleman''s eyebrows frowned, How could such a carefree person be here?
"Welcome, Cultivators from various areas!" The tuxedo man coolly said.
"Hahaha, as you currently know, we''re under attack by air pirates! I just want you to know that you must defeat those guys, and after! Hahaha, Of course, plenty of rewards will be given." The man changed his tone and emanated an enthusiastic vibe as if wanting to see a blood bath.
"Hmmph..." A woman, one of the gathered cultivators snorted, She then arranged her hair in order and said. "Those air pirates are nothing, I can handle them myself." She coolly said.
"Ohoho, So you''re that strong? " A man with a one eyed glass stepped up and intriguingly said. Robert just gasped some air and kept himself silent.
"Hahaha, Of course all of you are that strong! But as you know, those pirates are very ruthless, very ruthless! So that''s why you need to cooperate and kick their asses together! The reward will be the same for all of you." The man on the platform sighed then descended. He then waved his hands and a wooden slip flew towards every cultivators gathered.
Robert took the talisman midair and sighed. "Hmm... So if anyone happens to plunder something from those pirates, the rewards will be doubled?" Robert''s eyebrows frowned as he placed the talisman in his spatial ring.
"Hrmmphh..." A man clearly cleared his throat. All of the cultivators looked towards the man. The man then stood up again on the platform and shouted. "This task starts now! You may use any underhanded means of pillaging those bastards! Go!" With a wave, All of the cultivators bursts forth towards the emergency exit.
Robert just sighed and waited until the stream of cultivators cleared up, same as the muscle man who asked him a question earlier, he also waited until all of them are outside.
"Kid, What''s your name?" Eyeing Robert''s careless visage, The muscle man arranged his posture and sparked up a conversation. From Robert''s gazes, this man was just an eight star cultivator. One step away from him.
Even though there was a gap in strengths. The muscle man carefully chose his tone and prevented himself in provoking this youngster. Better safe than sorry.
"Robert." With a smile, Robert disappeared to the outside, his voice echoed around the silent second section. The tuxedo man also enigmatically disappeared leaving the muscle man alone.
...
"Brother! Some cultivators are pouring outside the airship! It seems like they''re gonna fight!" One of the floating pirate exclaimed towards the figure before him.
"Huh? Calm yourself, Xin! Those guys are nothing before my ultimate technique!" The man coolly said as he spawned a broadsword. He then transformed to a blur and intercepted the stream of cultivators. In that instance, He was immediately interlocked in an intense melee battle.
Xin sighed to himself and adjusted his distance, with an incantation. A fiery transluscent marking appeared and with a wave. A huge fire dragon sprouted. Aiming towards the stream of cultivators.
As a response, A feminine cultivators waved his hands in a gesture and a green shield appeared before her, encapsulating the fire dragon until its fire extinguished.
"Strong! At least nine star! But still not enough!" Xin inwardly thought to himself as he gestured towards the air, with a simple wave of his hands. A fiendish black qi spread towards the air, harming the every pouring cultivators, but sparing the air pirates.
"Black qi? Poision?!" The woman who extinguished the fire dragon exclaimed in surprise, She didn''t thought that the air pirates are capable of utilizing poision. Poison are after all, a complicated process of commanding the elements.
"Hmmph! Just a simple poison, what the hell are you chickening to?!" A neatly clothed man bellowed and snapped a floating talisman. The talisman then emanated a purifying glow, and the fiendish black qi dissipated with its shine.
"Holy element?! This sucks!" Xin flew backwards a great distance while gesturing in the air. With the wave of his hands, a ripple struck in great speeds towards the woman. The woman coughed a mouthful of blood, and fell towards the ground.
"Ah! Xiu Ying!" A man howled, and utilized his strength to the utmost limit and clutched the falling woman, He then fiercely activated his battle qi and waved his hands, with his gesture, the fierce battle qi encircled his palm and projected a huge beam of pure battle qi.
The beam targeted the panic stricken Xin who was desperately gesturing a protective spell. "What the hell is with this guy?! He even know battle qi manipulation in such a degree!" Emotions of regret filled his mind as his protective spell activated, even though he can evade, he chose not to do so since a battle qi manipulator can freely change the trajectory of his spells and follow the escaping target.
*Boom!
A huge explosion followed by a huge ripples of the natural element emanated, Xin coughed a mouthful of blood as he flew a great distance backwards, Six of his bones were broken and his protective shield barely held on.
"Xin!" The figure carrying a huge broadsword stopped his onslaught and pursued his falling brother. With his flight, the airship finally was able to spew out a green protective shield. Preventing further explosions.
"You idiot! Why did you leave your post in attacking?!" Xin who still flew backwards cursed, Because his brother left his onslaught, the formation they created beforehand fell. Enabling the airship to spew out a huge protective cover.
If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it.
This protective cover was something that they cannot easily break. That''s the reason why they raised their fierceness in this attack. To prevent the airship in spawning hard protective barriers. But now their plan failed. Because of his brother, their plan failed.
"Brother!" The man flew with his great strength, In a span of four breaths, He finally clutched his brother Xin.
"You bastard! Why did you left?! Damn it!" Xin gritted his teeth in anger.
"Brother! I wont let you die! I just wanted to protect you!" His brother pleaded as the two stopped flying backwards.
"Ughh. Now you''ve done it! Our comrades are dying there and you''re still trying to save me?! Everyone dies in the battlefield! That''s natural! If you can''t siphon that thinking then piss off!" Xin clutched his fists in anger. He then circulated his battle qi in preparation of setting off towards the bloodied battlefield.
His brother didn''t respond, his eyes filled with all sorts of emotions that he himself didn''t understand.
"Ursa Major: Locking Star!" Xin once again coughed a mouthful of blood as his spell activated, With his bellow, small pale blue light dots filled the air before him, The pale blue light seemingly formed a familiar constellation. As they soared the skies, invisible ripples of the natural element spread apart the area.
The fierce pale blue light howled towards the bloodied battlefield, aiming for the life of the cultivators making their stand.
With a span of ten breaths, the spell already reached the battlefield and exploded forth towards the man carrying a woman.
"Shit!" He noticed the spell coming, but he was late. He could only curse as he circulated his battle qi in protecting Xiu Ying.
*Boom!
A monstrous explosions rang forth inside the scorching battlefield. Smoke spread apart from the area of the explosion. As the smoke cleared up, A broken sword and an indistinct figure floated in the vicinity. He gave off an awe inspiring aura as the ongoing onslaught stopped.
All of the fighting cultivators glanced at the area of explosion. Xin''s face became filled with all sorts of emotions, "I-Impossible!" He could only stutter as he watched he youngster''s face smirk.
The youngster waved the smoke around and said. "Are you okay, Fellow Warrior?" His tone coolly.
"Ah! Th-thank you! Fellow Warrior! I wont forget this kindness!" The man clutching the peerless beauty stuttered like he was struck by a sudden epiphany. As he gave his thanks, seeds of respect bloomed in his mind as he watch this youngster smile.
"No problem, Fellow Warrior. Please retreat to the airship and treat her. " With a smile and an indifferent tone, Robert said. He then faced the battlefield, raised his sword and exploded forth towards the bloodied Xin.
His smiling figure arrived in front of the broadsword wielding man in the span of several breaths, Brandishing his sword down. Robert activated his battle qi and slammed.
*Boom!
An awe inspiring explosion rang forth, not just once, but countless times! The two are interlocked in an intense melee battle as ripples from their battle spread apart. With Robert''s slash, The natural laws seemed to ripple.
The man gritted his teeth as he desperately defensed and shouted. "I''ll take care of him! Brother, You retreat!"
"Hmmph! Getting distracted in a fight is quite boastful!" With a bellow, Robert''s artifact slammed towards the man''s broadsword. The man circulated his battle qi in full force and managed to defend himself and prevented the broadsword from cracking.
But that wasn''t Robert''s full slash, He smiled and pressed down. Spreading cracks on the broadsword as the man''s battle qi grew faint.
"Damn it!" With his howl, the broadsword fell apart and the man instantly flew backwards, preventing himself from being split apart with a small margin.
"Hmmph! You''re quite strong, but still not enough for me!" Robert smiled and paved his way towards the gesturing man.
Near the airship, countless conversations about Robert''s identity already sparked in life. Murmurs about him being a member of a major sect, some even speculated about him being a wandering vagabond with great strength. Although all of them didn''t hit the mark. If Robert heard their conversations, He would surely laugh his ass off.
"Hmm... That youngster. Quite interesting. His cultivation base emits the aura of a seven star warrior yet his current strength is far off. Intriguing indeed." Inside the first section of the airship. The owner of the airship, the man who wore a tuxedo and stood on the platform murmured, He himself was mesmerized by the spectacle happening outside.
"I wonder if he''s going to the Institute of High Magics." The man smiled and fell to deep thoughts as he arranged his mind in order.
"Damn it! You bastard!" With a gesture, the wind around the surroundings howled and formed a small tornado. The man gritted his teeth and with his gesture. The tornado forced its way towards the approaching Robert.
The wind rummaged and the surroundings rippled as Robert approached in great speeds. He raised his hands up, ready to brandish it down for a downward attack.
The tornado surging towards Robert absorbed more winds from the surrounding. From the time it arrived to Robert it already became a deadly whirlwind.
"Imprudent bastard!" In the middle of the whirlwind. Robert''s flying figure wavered, he seemed to be disturbed by the whirlwind.
"Dispel!" With his inward thought, the broken sword on Robert''s hand emanated a fiendish black light as it covered the whirlwind, turning it into a deadly black whirlwind, but after awhile. The whirlwind dissipated and the surroundings immediately calmed. As if the whirlwind didn''t existed.
"M-Magic Cancellation?!" The tuxedo man gaped in shock as he intently watched the dissipating whirlwind. "And It''s a high leveled one!" His mind, without his knowledge, sprouted a small inspired thought, planted deep within his subconscious.
"Y-You!" The man could only point in shock, his cultivation base was already drained, he could only muster enough strength to prevent himself from falling down. Thoughts of begging for mercy came to his mind. But he didn''t even do it, he can''t fall on his knees and plead for mercy to a young kid. That would kill his pride inside.
And so, the logical consequence would be.
"You bastard!" With a wave of his hands, A replica of the broadsword that shattered appeared. But still, Robert didn''t waver at the least, Instead, his speed exploded.
The man went crazy as he desperately raised his hands, Veins popped in his arm as he mustered his strength to do a downward slash, but in that instant. The world turned upside down.
The man''s neck sprayed blood everywhere as his head came off. With a clean slash of his broken sword, Robert cleanly sliced the man''s head. His head flew downwards and disappeared to the vast trees.
Robert cleaned his broken sword by waving it around. He then turned back with a grim smile, His scarlet eyes engraved to everyone''s eyes. They will not be able to forget the sight of the ruthless youngster named Robert.
Since the Air Pirates'' captain died, The remaining pirates exploded in retreat. They even threw their weapons to prevent extra luggage in holding them down.
"Don''t let them escape! Capture them!" The man Robert previously rescued shouted. With his bellow, the astounded cultivators sprang to action. Their task is to capture as many pirates as possible.
Robert arrived in a few blink of an eye and glanced towards the floating man carrying a peerless beauty. His scarlet eyes then grew transparent as his consciousness dissipated. With the man''s shout. Robert fell down on the vast trees.

Chapter 8: Forest of Wisp.
Robert Longinus'' consciousness gradually awakened.
Sound of birds chirping around can be heard, and vibrant cooling winds swept all over Robert''s lethargic body. He murmured as he opened his eyes. Still in the middle of insensibility. Robert stood up and swept the area with his gaze.
Airship? Where Am I? Where''s the airship? Robert gasped as he thought. The last thing he remembered was Asmodeo assimilating his spirit in his body and then blackout.
"A-a-Asmodeo!" Robert panted and mentally connected to Asmodeo. The broken sword in its sheath shone with a green light. Then, Asmodeo''s words were heard.
"Hmm? What is it? Oh, You''re already awake?" Asmodeo''s voice clearly held a hint of exhaustion. Still, he gasped at Robert that was already awake.
"Now''s not the time for that! Explain everything! Why Am I not inside the airship!" Robert howled as he remembered Sahhad who he thought was still inside the airship.
Asmodeo sighed as he painstakingly explained everything from the beginning to the end. He also said that he ordered Sahhad to go first to Maple City and wait for him to arrive.
As he got further and further in his explanations. Robert''s eyes glittered with curiosity. But he gasped when he heard the name Air Pirates. That''s the group that the airship owner ordered them to eradicate.
"And so! We are here in the Forest of Wisp!" Asmodeo sighed as he finished his explanation.
"Forest of Wisp?" Robert''s eyes lit up. He clearly hadn''t heard of this place before, and so, his curious nature was awakened. He then moved forward in a brisk pace. Just as he formed the thoughts of meeting some fairies. Asmodeo''s call stopped him in his tracks.
"Are you looking to die?! Forest of Wisp isn''t something that you can just casually walk inside! Inside here contains different kinds of magical beasts! and their rank ranges from First star towards the Hexagon level!" Asmodeo''s alarmed voice resounded as Robert gasped in surprise.
He surely didn''t expect that this Forest of Wisp would have such a terrifying existence lurking among this huge trees! To think of, Robert had only witnessed a magical beast in the First star level!
And so, the logical result would be.
Robert''s mouth hung wide that you can fit an egg in it. He still couldn''t accept the reality of their situation.
"W-w-What should I do? Will I ever make it alive?" Helplessness crowded Robert''s mind as he thought. He still haven''t fought magical beasts before! Those creepy vines from the mountain range was something so far from magical beasts! Their gaps were too huge.
"Hehe." Asmodeo snorted as the broken sword floated. It emanated an intense green light. This green light acted like a lantern around Robert which invoked a small barrier of wind. This thin membrane of wind swirled around Robert.
"What''s this?" Robert''s eyes glittered as his curiosity triggered. He immediately asked Asmodeo about the thin membrane of air.
"That? Ah, that''s Origin of the Wind. It''s a profound spell." Asmodeo chortled as he explained to the dumbfounded Robert. Robert himself was astounded. Asmodeo easily activated such a strong profound spell! Just what level is his cultivation base?
Robert just helplessly sighed as he moved forward. With no goal in mind, Asmodeo said. "Robert, don''t just casually walk around. Move northeast! But don''t move straight! Move in an arc! " Asmodeo''s imposing voice rang in Robert''s mind.
Robert asked. "Why should I go northeast?"
"Just go!" Asmodeo howled as Robert sighed and changed his direction, He was now heading in a direction opposite to the first duchy! If he would move in a straight line. After crossing four mountain ranges he would arrive in the third duchy!
...
Longinus Kingdom''s Palace.
A sound of a glass breaking could be heard, and a terrifying amount of energy condensed. The person in the epicenter of this all was King Luis.
Earlier, he heard that his son. Robert Longinus embarked on an adventure to the first duchy instead of obeying his summon. And second, he also brought the Earth Shattering Heaven Piercing Sword with him! This intensified King Luis'' anger and so, the current situation could be explained.
"Th-That Kid!" King Luis gritted his teeth as he recklessly clutched the broken glass in his fist. He then threw the glass remnants to the ground and slammed the table. The table split open in half as if it was crushed by an enormous pressure.
Curiously, there was no wound on King Luis'' body! As if the glass and the table were paper to him!
The surrounding female servants could only tremble in fear. They knew King Luis'' temperament and so, they prayed that he would not place his anger on them.
King Luis glared to the nearby female servant and her face turned pale. She trembled as she stood up and stuttered as she said. "Y-y-y-Your M-majesty!" The servant swallowed a mouthful of saliva as she stood up.
Her knees were trembling that it seemed to fall with just a slight push. She braved the enormous pressure that King Luis emanated.
"Summon Hundred Swords and tell him that he needs to acquire the artifact at all costs! Remember, At all costs!" King Luis howled as the female servant finally fell on her knees. Without hesitation, She immediately stood up, bowed, and frantically departed.
...
The Forest of Wisp. "According to several legends among the villages. There are three sections inside the forest. The first realm, second realm, and the inner realm. In the first realm. First star leveled magical beasts are rampant. They do not cross the line between the second realm and the first. Even though they are formidable beasts. Most of them doesn''t attack unless provoked! Understand!" Asmodeo painstakingly lectured the helpless Robert. Robert just nodded like a chicken pecking a grain.
With his nod, Asmodeo smiled and continued. "And the second realm! Pentagon Leveled beasts are rampant! With a mixture of Hexagon leveled ones! With your current level of strength, you may not even survive the first realm of which we are currently in! And so, we must be careful not to cross the boundary! " Asmodeo casually glanced towards the indifferent Robert, He didn''t earnestly listened, but still, Asmodeo''s words were like glue. It immediately stuck in Robert''s mind.
"The third realm is something that we must not hope to go. Me and Master Sofia was able to get inside that realm but we only stayed for twenty minutes before taking off. Even now, I still cannot forget that terrifying heart clenching aura. It seemed to belong in a realm that is much higher than pentagon! maybe Heptagon or Dodecagon! or maybe Star Saint! Whatever it was we didn''t dare to go closer." Asmodeo sighed as he remembered the time when he was with his Master Sofia.
Did you know this text is from a different site? Read the official version to support the creator.
The previous insensitive attitude of Robert changed when he heard his mother''s name. He unconsciously led a small smile. He then adjusted his posture and briskly walked with Asmodeo''s guidance.
...
The red brazen sky illuminated the shade of the huge trees around Robert. Robert still walked in a brisk pace as he moved northeast. He didn''t walk in a straight line but rather, in an arc. He didn''t run since he didn''t want to lower his stamina in case of sudden magical beasts attack.
The broken sword that was now barely visible due to the intense green light around it placed itself above Robert''s head and provided a reliable source of light.
It was almost nighttime. He moved himself fast with Asmodeo''s guidance and he traced a running stream of water until he arrived in a huge waterfall. The waterfall was at least thirty meters in height and rushed with intense pressure.
Robert sent the broken sword in front of the huge stream of water and directed its light towards the waterfalls. As Asmodeo said, there was a small cave behind the stream of water. Robert smiled and climbed towards the cave.
"Robert, there are still six months before the accepting ceremony of the Institute of High Magics, and so! You will stay here for one month!" Asmodeo''s voice again rang in Robert''s mind.
"What do you mean stay?! This place is like a deathlands itself. Do you want me to die?" Robert inquired with a howl and seated himself beside the water stream entrance.
"I''m ninety nine percent sure that you''re gonna die if you don''t obey my commands!" Asmodeo huffed as he howled towards the unyielding Robert.
Robert could helplessly sigh as he said. "Then what should I do?" Robert let out a small resigning voice.
"That''s good, You''re being obedient. " Asmodeo chortled as he willed the sword to illuminate the entire cave. The cave wasn''t huge. If calculated, it was enough to shelter at least six people inside and the diameter of the cave was only thirty meters.
Robert didn''t reply and helplessly hung his head low. He still couldn''t completely adjust to the surrounding environment. He remembered the times where he would soundly sleep in his soft foamy bed. And the rich high quality wine. He missed it all.
"This is no time to think about the past! You need to train! You''re too damn weak!" Asmodeo cursed on the nostalgic Robert as he snickered. "Hmmph! With this mindset, you''re just gonna die!"
Robert didn''t reply. He just silently closed his five senses and let himself fall to deep silence.
"Damn this bastard actually slept!" Asmodeo cursed as he slowly extinguished the green light. Robert''s first night inside the Forest of WIsp became hectic.
...
Robert''s consciousness gradually awakened.
The chirping birds and the noisy surge of water casually adjusted his consciousness around the area. He woke up to reality of being inside this damn Forest of Wisp! He cursed the owner of the airship for Heavenly Judgement as he woke up. He still couldn''t understand the reason why he abandoned him.
They should''ve been grateful! Those bastards! Feared my strength my ass! They could just admit that I''m unwanted! His face wasn''t showing his current feelings at all. His mind was in disarray but his visage was the calm waters.
"Oh, you woke up." The broken sword again floated as Asmodeo mentally connected.
"Can you again tell me the reason why we''re staying here for one full month?" Robert inquired as he descended down. He slid off from the cave towards the ground. With a wave of his hands. An arrow, a bow and a long string of linen appeared from thin air.
Robert proceeded and tied the string to the bow and connected it to the bow. Asmodeo became curious by Robert''s strange attitude and said. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing, just answer my question. " Robert didn''t answer his question but instead pressed on his previous question.
"Hmm, so you''re gonna catch some food. Hmmph!" With a snort, a terrifying wave of condensed energy swept from the broken sword. The fiendish fiery energy pierced the waters of the river. After a span of three breaths, a rumbling sound shook from the river water.
Boom!
With a terrifying explosion. The waters of the river sprung high to the skies. It flew high that Robert couldn''t even see its end. After a few breaths. The sprung water calmed itself and the waters returned to its previous calm. As if nothing happened, but in its wake were four huge fishes!
They were not fishes but eels! Robert''s mouth widened. With just a casual surge of energy. Asmodeo was able to catch this monstrous eels!
He couldn''t believe what he was seeing, and this was the first time that Robert saw such a huge eel! Its size was at least sixteen meters and its width was three times higher than Robert!
And there were four of them!
"W-w-What the hell did you do!" Robert couldn''t suppress himself and clutched the floating broken sword. He frantically inquired Asmodeo about what suddenly happened.
"Nothing, just a surge of small energy." Asmodeo replied in a monotone voice. What small?! Are you damn saying that it was small?! Robert couldn''t help but gasp in astonishment. Just how exactly he was able to cause the waters to sprung?
And he even let it off as a small energy?!
"Hmmph! That didn''t even contained five percent of my strength and yet you''re gaping in shock? You really don''t know what''s strength right?" Asmodeo snickered.
"T-teach me about that! I want to get stronger!" Robert felt like a dog that was being fed by its master. He couldn''t help but look with veneration towards Asmodeo.
"Of course, I will teach you how to do that, but first! From now on, Everyday! You need to catch at least one of those fish or else I won''t teach you anything! " Asmodeo chortled as he faded to deep silence.
Robert helplessly glanced towards the dead eels. Their bodies alone made his heart clench and now he was asked to catch at least one of them everyday?! Absolutely impossible! Impossible!
Robert clutched his fists as he thought of the reason why he wanted to become stronger.
"For Lily, For my vengeance! Bring it on!" With a howl, Robert slammed himself towards the deep waters of the river.

Chapter 9: Legacy of the Slaughtering God.
The Forest of Wisp consisted of three realms that were equally dangerous. It housed several precious medical herbs and strange magical beasts.
Robert''s first day inside the forest was hectic. He had to endure a battlefield and the ramblings of a strange floating sword. And in the end, he needed to capture at least one of those enormous slimy eels.
With a promise of teaching him a cultivation technique. Asmodeo became the master. He ordered Robert all around. If he finished his quota, he would then find some medical herbs of which Asmodeo would refine to pills.
And at night, Robert would sleep with a hanging rock near his head and a string of which if he would let go. The rock would slam to his head. Robert endured all of this hectic days for at least one full month.
The rocks that Robert piled up near the cave''s entrance counted to thirty. Each rock signified one day, and since the rocks reached to thirty counts. This meant that the one full month was over.
Robert smiled as he greeted the new day, He seemed to be in a good mood. As Robert descended. He mentally commanded the broken sword to come him of which it flew towards his hands.
For the last full month. Robert''s cultivation base level exceeded his expectations. Because of Asmodeo''s strange training techniques. His cultivation base soared to the First Star Realm Nine Star.
In the whole Yoke Continent. People like Robert who surged two levels in just one month are exceptionally talented geniuses. In fact, the people who have managed to do this feat can only be counted in one hand.
Robert smiled, removed an article of clothing and dived towards the river. His aim. Capture one of those strange eels.
Of course, Asmodeo only commanded him to bring one everyday, if he ordered him to bring too much. He would damage the area''s ecosystem and so, he limited the count of which Robert could catch everyday.
After the time it takes for a water to boil. Robert emerged from the waters. In his clutch, the slimy sixteen meter eel. At first, it violently struggled but after a few breaths. It became stupor and finally fell to silence.
"The last quota." Robert murmured as he revealed a mirthful smile. The sword then floated before him and emanated the same intense green light.
"Congratulations, Robert! As promised, I will teach you a cultivation technique!" Asmodeo''s cheerful voice rang in his mind.
Robert seated himself down and coolly said. "Thanks for your guidance." He clasped his hands together as a sign of respect. Even though Asmodeo had tortured him in intense training. He still felt grateful. His cultivation soared high, and his instincts became more refined. And so, he felt that Asmodeo was now his teacher.
"Yes, yes." Asmodeo nodded in agreement as he said. "Now I''m gonna use a bit of my strength and create a special realm for you to comprehend this technique. But be aware that this realm will only be open for two months! In that time, you need to at least understand the first realm or else all of the things we''ve done would go to waste!"
Robert''s figure slightly flickered. He needed time to comprehend such a terrifying cultivation technique. But he didn''t expect that the time he would get would only be two months. But still, Robert nodded in a way that''s not offensive nor defensive.
"Okay then! Start your breathing exercise! Rotate your cultivation base! After the time it takes a water to boil. You should feel a strange feeling of departing, when that time comes you must not resist!" Asmodeo once again warned as a wave of fiendish fiery energy emanated from the floating broken sword.
The fiendish energy encapsulated the calm Robert. The floating sword then floated above his head and emanated the same green light that made all the magical beasts run for their life.
"Master Sofia comprehended the first realm after three tries. Of course, It would be impossible for you to comprehend it for the first try. But let''s at least try." Asmodeo sighed to himself as he thought of the past.
"Well in the end. That depends in his luck and ability to inherit my legacy." Asmodeo smiled as he drifted to deep silence.
Pitch black. Two words described everything of what Robert saw. After he felt Asmodeo''s tyrannical aura encapsulating him. He descended into a void.
His five senses couldn''t work for some circumstances. They were sealed shut. Robert willed and tried to rotate his cultivation base but it still wasn''t enough.
This text was taken from Royal Road. Help the author by reading the original version there.
In the middle of the darkness. A gold statue several times bigger than him materialized. The gold statue revealed a figure of a muscular man who carried a huge broadsword on his shoulders.
The broadsword itself was terrifying. It spanned several thousand meters across. And the figure of the man was several hundred thousand''s high, and so its width.
Robert could see all of the characteristics of the statue. His eyesight became extremely keen. Robert then realized that his five senses returned, but he couldn''t move his body. As if a huge mountain pressed on his shoulders, disabling his ability to stand up.
"Greetings, The ten thousand four hundred sixteenth challenger of my bloodline legacy."
An archaic voice resounded. With its wake. It created extreme might which made Robert''s face to turn pale from fright. Robert wanted to fall unconscious because of the extreme pressure. But because of the intervention of a fiendish fiery aura encapsulating him. He was unable to even move.
"In this material plane. The continent of Yoke. There exists thirty trial entrances, but currently. They are all closed. My nineteenth bloodline inheritor sealed all the trial entrances, but you. You''re able to enter the trials. "
"But it seems like you didn''t enter the bonafide entrance."
A pair of azure colored eyes brimmed with intense red light. It enshrouded Robert''s body and pierced through his chest. Robert didn''t feel any pain. As if nothing invaded his body.
"Hmm. That sly fox really helped you as I expected." The archaic voice lowed its voice as if it fell to deep thoughts.
"But oh well. Let''s forget about that for now." The archaic voice murmured, seemingly speaking to itself. It then placed its watchful gaze towards the immobile Robert.
Robert gasped in fear as he felt the anarchic gaze of the golden statue latched onto him. But he couldn''t even move let alone make a sound.
"The trial this time is simple. If you somehow managed to complete this then I will reward you plentifully. Hehehe, That''s if you come out victorious. "
"The only condition is success or death." The archaic voice once again lowered its voice and fell to deep silence.
After a span of a few breaths. Its azure colored eyes flashed and said. "Go forth! Your mission is to slaughter all the unworthy!"
The archaic voice resounded throughout the pitch black atmosphere. The golden statue distorted as a spatial crack formed around it.
Space itself trembled as the spatial ripples spread and eventually encapsulated the golden statue of which in turn became reduced to dust.
In its wake. A small black hole formed and neared Robert''s vicinity. Robert could only watch in shock as the small black hole formed a huge dark mouth and swallowed him wholly.
...
"Ahh-----"
An ear piercing shout resounded throughout the silent room. The shout didn''t stop for a few breaths and seemed to crack the surrounding walls.
Robert opened his eyes as panic permeated through his body. He stopped his wail and immediately run towards the door.
"What the hell has happened?! Where Am I?!" Robert clutched the door knob and what greeted him outside was the unbelievable.
The bermuda grass filled the area around the courtyard. The chirping sounds of the birds vibrantly swum in the air as the cooling winds of the morning slammed on his body.
This time, Robert widened his eyes in shock. This courtyard that held a very strong familiar appearance in his mind, and the appearance of the slender figure of a petite woman who mirthfully waved her smile towards him. This only meant one thing.
He
went
back
in
time?!
Robert circulated all his brain cells to deep thinking. The last thing he remembered was him seating cross legged in the Forest of Wisp and then here! He magically appeared inside his room!
Robert''s pace turned ashen as he could only think of one answer. That he really did travel in time! But who? Who helped him achieve such feat and what is their aim?!
"Robert? What''s going on with you? Did you perhaps had a nightmare?" Robert''s pensive mind resurfaced as the enchanting sweet voice of a very close figure in his life resounded.
Robert turned his head forward and saw the figure of the approaching woman. He couldn''t be mistaken!
"L-L-Lily?"

Chapter 10: Divine Ranked Beasts Essence.
Year 6997 of the Fallaciae Calendar, Forest of Wisp. One noon inside the inner area of the Forest of Wisp.
Rushing sounds of water streams filled the silent and deadly area of the inner core area of the Forest of Wisp. There stood a youth on the center of the lake. He completely negated the effects of gravity and floated while softly touching the waters.
The youths features could be completely depicted as average looking. Other than his unique purple hair that stood up. There were no remarkably good features for him. But instead. A terrifying amount of extreme pressure emanated from his body. He didn''t gave off an aura of being human. This was the leader of the magical beasts inside the Forest of Wisp. Ranceia.
"Hmm. It seems like an interesting thing is going on." Ranceia clutched his chin and squinted his eyes, seemingly watching to a far away place.
"His talent is extraordinary yet his comprehension skills is low. I wonder if he could achieve such a feat. " Ranceia glanced at the cross legged Robert. He didn''t notice anything that doesn''t look right. Instead, He only observed the calm figure of Robert cultivating and rotating his rotation base.
Before Asmodeo led Robert inside the Room of Trials. He formed several Judgement Type Runes for concealment. He laid several layers of concealment runes and illusionary runes for protection. He didn''t want any rampant beasts to come forward and so, he constantly led the gem embedded to emit a profound spell.
The profound spell called Abysmal Light. Fends of any magical beasts in a cultivation lower than the caster. Asmodeo also encapsulated Robert in a profound spell just to be sure that if something happens. He would be able to retrieve Robert''s soul from the Room of Trials.
"Did that sly fox really thought that I won''t be able to see through his schemes? It seems like he really did underestimate me." With a cold smile, Ranceia emanated his terrifying Decagon star aura. The whole inner core area trembled and the surrounding magical beasts fell in fear. They fearfully gazed at the icy cold Ranceia as he streaked through the skies.
...
"Robert? Are you okay?" Lily moved forward and placed her face near Robert''s. Robert still stuck in the trance suddenly fidgeted and stepped backwards.
"What''s going on with you?" Lily raised her eyebrows and intently glanced at Robert. Robert calmed his beating heart and said.
"Nothing."
"Strange." Lily shrugged and tapped Robert''s shoulders and shouted. "Let''s go! I already asked permission for you. We''ll hunt magical beasts today!" Lily ran. As her disappearing visage reached far. Robert slapped himself with his two hands.
"I should not be thinking something else. If this is real. I should cherish this."
Robert smiled at the now distant and followed. Their objective: Mountain Range of Living Plants.
In a particular stone platform inside the outer area of the Mountain Range of Living Plants. There on top of the stone platform. A figure quietly sitting cross-legged.
The figure also had a youthful appearance. He had a soft and slightly disheveled black hair, yet his seemingly innocent face was a little thin. It gave off a feeling of comfort to those who looked at him.
At the moment, many pale blue lights visible by the naked eye encircled the boy. And from those light, a mysterious energy rushed to his body.
The youth suddenly opened his two eyes. Glancing at a particular direction. He smiled and murmured. "So It''s time?" He then jumped off the stone platform and slowly waited for the two streaks of light to arrive.
A familiar palpitating sound resounded as the two streaks of light descended. One was covered with a pale blue light and the other with a fiery red light. The girl and the boy smiled to each other before heading towards the waiting youth.
"Chen Fang. You''ve waited enough. Are we late?" Lily shrugged, and mirthfully smiled when Chen Fang shook his head in response. Chen Fang also mirthfully smiled, and then directed his gaze towards Robert.
His gazes towards Robert were particularly cold that Robert momentarily shuddered. Robert dismissed the gaze off and said. "Junior Robert greets Senior Chen Fang." Robert clasped his two hands and bowed in respect.
The cold icy gaze was still there and seemed to scan Robert''s body. After a few moments, Chen Fang also smiled at Robert and said. "No need to be so respectful Junior. You can just call me Chen Fang. " His smile seemed to have a faint hint of coldness.
"This guy, Why is he so antagonistic to me?" Robert inwardly thought as he mentally sighed.
But he noticed that he didn''t reply yet and immediately said. "Thanks, Brother Chen Fang. Then you can also call me Robert." Robert smiled and dispelled the previous cold atmosphere between the two.
"Chen Fang. Should we discuss the contents of our hunt?" Lily smiled and waved her hands and headed towards the stone platform.
"Very well." Chen Fang smiled and gestured his hands in the air. He then rotated his cultivation base and shouted. "Let the darkness reveal the path!" At the same instance. A black fluid like aura emanated from Chen Fang''s body. It then flew towards the stone platform and encapsulated it.
Robert gasped while Lily had an indifferent look in her face. Robert suddenly felt a surge of information in his brain. He momentarily clutched his head and knelt to the ground while gritting his teeth.
"Robert? What''s going on with you?!" Lily, alarmed. Moved towards Robert and assisted him to stand up. Chen Fang didn''t mind the ruckus as he was completely engrossed in activating the entrance.
"High Leveled Judgement Type Magic. " Robert inwardly murmured as he stood up. He then smiled to Lily and teasingly said. "Thank you." He purposely lengthened the intonation of the ''you'' and teased Lily''s frantic attitude.
Lily''s previous complexion changed and a faint rosy red color appeared on her cheeks as she bowed her head in embarassment. "You dummy. "
Meanwhile, Chen Fang who was completely engrossed in activating the High Leveled Spell gritted his teeth in jealousy. "That damn kid! How dare he flirt with my Lily! " , "He''ll painfully pay!" Chen Fang calmed himself after a few huge breaths and the black light encapsulating the stone platform suddenly exploded. Chen Fang who didn''t expect his spell to fail coughed a mouthful of blood and flew several meters backwards.
"Damn! Still a failure?" Chen Fang clenched his fists as he stood up. This was the forty eighth time they failed. And each time they failed, they would pay a huge price of several Cultivation Increasing Pills. Which were very expensive in the market.
Even though he belonged in a wealthy family. Chen Fang still gritted his teeth in anger and even pressured the ground below. He just wasted a pill worth two golds. A normal non cultivating family would need five golds annually to expense in their daily needs. and he just wasted ninety six golds throughout their failures.
Chen Fang''s face bulged with veins as he angrily clutched his fists. But then, a sweet voice from behind resurfaced his focused mind.
"Chen Fang, that''s okay. You understand that a three star rune formation isn''t so easily broken, maybe next time." Lily smiled and tapped Chen Fang''s shoulders.
And as if he was awakened from a trance. His eyes widened and a faint hint of red surfaced from his cheeks. His voice stuttered and said. "Th-Thank you, Junior Sister Lily. " Chen Fang bowed his head and a strange feeling of euphoria entered his mind.
Robert just indifferently watched as the event happened and said. "Shall we go back now?"
The two turned around. Lily directed an expecting gaze while Chen Fang cooled the surroundings with his gaze. Robert just chortled inwardly as he thought of the past.
Robert already understood that Chen Fang was madly in love with Lily. The two were complete rivals back then until their sudden disappearance. The day when Lily disappeared was the day when Chen Fang also disappeared. And so, Robert didn''t mind his hateful gazes at all, but instead felt relieved that he was given a chance to go back and enjoy their previous moments together.
Chen Fang was the primary suspect for Lily''s disappearance. That''s because the two were together on the night when Lily disappeared, but apparently. He also disappeared, but that''s not the suspicious point. The thing was his entire clan also disappeared like thin air in one night.
At the end, The incident was ruled out as a complete accident and until now, Robert grieves of her beloved Lily, and made it his mindset to never forget about her everyday and think as if she was alive.
But Robert''s suspicions for Chen Fang still didn''t disappear, Although his feelings of disdain was overpowered by his brotherly love. He still couldn''t help but feel suspicious.
Chen Fang gave off a cold ''Hrmmph'' and said. "Okay, okay. Let''s end this now. But tomorrow at six pm. Let''s meet here again and reopen this seal. "
"Okay." Robert said coolly and prepared to depart.
"Okay then, see you tomorrow!" Lily also prepared to depart.
"Robert, I''ll meet you again tomorrow. And also! Don''t be tardy or else..." Lily revealed a small cold smile, Robert momentarily shuddered and awkwardly said.
"N-no problem."
Lily waved her hands and a prismatic beam of light covered her whole body and streaked towards the horizon. Robert didn''t depart, instead. He walked towards the stone platform. Chen Fang already departed earlier, but he stayed.
He was curious as to what was the contents of this stone platform that the two were desperately working on. Back then, Robert didn''t participate in the two''s event, but instead focused on the age of coming ceremony next month. He knew the incident two weeks after their disappearances.
Robert fell to great despair back then and desperately encircled the whole Longinus Kingdom for whole two months searching for traces of the two. He eventually met an accident and injured his dantian, which led to his condensed spiritual energy leaking out and pushing him towards the First star condensation six stars from Pentagon one star.
Because of this incident. He failed the age of coming ceremony and according to the rules of the Longinus Kingdom. Any members of royalty who failed this ceremony shall not be granted the right to inherit the throne, and so. He was casts aside and was only given a parcel of land for compensation.
Robert lived a good day, His mother died, and he met Asmodeo, He became involved in an incident inside an airship and eventually came back in time.
Thinking of all of this. Robert inwardly chuckled. Even he didn''t thought that he would be given a chance to read the pasts events and discover the truth about Lily''s disappearance.
Robert headed towards the stone platform. He revealed his eight star condensation energy. He then diverted the condensed energy towards his fists and shot a punch towards the stone platform.
*Boom!
A fierce explosion rang out. Amidst the rising smoke, A figure clutched his hands and gritted his teeth in pain. His clutched fists leaked fresh blood as if it punched a sturdy steel metal. Robert unexpectedly got the backslash and grimaced in pain.
"Damn it! This is unexpected." Robert slightly cursed as he jumped around the area while clutching his bleeding hands. After a few breaths of time, He stabilized himself and said. "Never gonna do that again." Robert sighed and backed off.
If Asmodeo was here, he could surely receive some information about this strange stone platform. But alas, he wasn''t here and so, Robert could only coldly laugh as he intently gazed on the stone platform.
On the surface. There was a faint hint of luster that was covered up by a hail of dusts after Robert punched. Robert''s eyebrows frowned slightly as he noticed something peculiar. There was a strange carving of a curved jade. That was the only thing describable about the stone platform. The others were gibberish.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Robert clutched his head as he said. "Damn, is that some kind of code or something."
Robert didn''t understand it himself, but the instant he noticed. He already approached the stone platform and placed his two palms on the surface of it. Robert willed and a gush of condensed energy flowed from his dantian towards his arms and then to the stone platform.
*Rumble.
The stone platform endlessly shook as it noticed Robert''s energy. The stone platform didn''t become satisfied by Robert''s ample energy and greedily sucked Robert''s dantian dry. His face immediately grimaced as he felt his condensed energy being stripped.
Robert frantically retreated. But there seemed to be a faint thread of connection between the platform and Robert''s dantian that enabled it to suck it regardless of the distance.
"Damn it!" Robert cursed as he exploded to prismatic beam of light, finally breaking off the connection between the stone platform and his dantian.
His former dantian which was encapsulated by a fiendish black energy recovered its natural color. Robert only relaxed when he noticed that his condensed energy circulated without failures.
"Just what is that thing? It''s too evil. It clutched on anyone''s dantian and sucks it dry of condensed energy! Just now I fell two ranks!" When Robert''s condensed energy leaked. His cultivation level also plummeted. From the first star condensation seven star. He fell towards the fifth rank.
It would take him at least two months to steadily recover the lost energy. Just thinking of this alone made Robert brim in fury. The energy he painstakingly condensed was now lost! For a cultivator to lose such high amounts of condensed energy would mean a temporary restrained dantian!
"I really swear to my grandfather that I would obtain what''s inside that stone platform and make it recover my lost energy!" Robert gritted his teeth and tightly clenched his fists as he popped several medicinal pills in his mouth and increased his speed.
Meanwhile in a nearby desolate mountain peak.
A middle aged figure of a black robed man regretfully watched as the prismatic beam of light disappeared into the horizon.
"What a waste." The man sighed in disappointment. Just now, that amount of condensed energy would be little help to him but nevertheless that was still a condensed energy! In the martial world of cultivation. Condensed energy were precious enough that even a drop of a Star Saint cultivator''s condensed energy would cost one thousand takals of gold!
"It''s been two thousand years yet no one still uncovered my blessings, such is my fate to fall in such a low ranked material plane." The man sighed as his head stared to the skies, reminiscing of the old memories of his battles.
"Hahaha, my last strand of soul won''t be able to handle a hundred years more. Seems like this time will really be my end."
"And also, that damned Versail! I still haven''t settled my bets with him! If I really would be able to find a talented individual in my last hundred years! I would pursue him and settle the scores!" The man chortled as a flash of liquid concentrated on his eyes.
He took a deep breath and sighed once more, before disappearing to countless pale blue crystals.
After arriving inside his manor. Robert frantically called Sahhad and ordered him to gather several energy gathering pills, and ordered countless demon crystals and low leveled runic entrapment formation crystals. He immediately refined it and absorbed the boundless condensed energy to steadily recover his lost cultivation.
After six hours of painstaking refining. Robert finally ascended to his former rank once more. The sun already set and the arranged meeting time once more resurfaced. Robert once again packed his things inside his bag of holding, and placed the demon crystals, runic entrapment formation crystals inside a separate bag of holding.
He then made Sahhad scout his area in a diameter of five hundred meters. He gave a pinpointing talisman to Sahhad and kept one with him. A pinpointing talisman is a great tracking talisman specialized in areas where mists are abundant. It accurately tracks people and directs their position to the other talisman owners.
Sahhad also prepared his things and even made two pentagon condensation cultivators to join him and exploded to the horizon. Robert also turned to a beam of light and disappeared towards the Mountain Range of Living Plants.
The boundless darkness of the night spread around the area of the Mountain Range of Living Plants, which made its appearance even more eerie than before. In a certain area inside the mountain range. several torches where lighted and a group of several Pentagon ranked experts where flocked.
"Bastards! Listen up! Let me tell you something good!" Chen Fang who was flocked with female cultivators suddenly stood up and howled.
"What we have here is a Divine Beast Essence of the Black Tortoise! Ranked number four of the Heavenly Mythical Beasts Rankings!" With Chen Fang''s howl. The faces of the gathered cultivators changed from disbelief, acceptance and greed.
Their eyes lighted up and insurmountable greed surfaced in their minds as they were reeled in by Chen Fang''s speech.
"To those people who are able to acquire the essence. It will belong to them! This is the strict rule here! Those who obtained the artifacts with their own hands would posses it!" The crowd couldn''t contain their excitement and shouted in cheers. If they were somewhat be able to acquire a Divine Ranked Beasts Essence, even if they''re not able to refine it for their own good. It would still rack up a good price in the market!
With such huge amounts of money, they would not starve in their whole life!
"The time is nigh! Let''s form the formation now!" Chen Fang shouted and the surrounding cultivators immediately dispersed. They gathered mountainous amounts of runic formation rocks and encircled the stone platform.
Chen Fang just smiled wryly as he thought. "These guys really are fools! What do they think of a divine beasts?" Chen Fang inwardly laughed as he moved to a nearby female cultivator and led her to his tent.
Meanwhile, Sahhad observed the situation from a huge tree near the stone platform. He intently gazed at the ruckus of the cultivators and recognized the formation that they were utilizing.
"Hmm, An absolute cancelling runic formation. Will they really succeed?" Sahhad just laughed wryly as he deduced Chen Fang''s next steps. From the time when Chen Fang announced the existence of the Divine Ranked Beasts Essence which would surely shake the entire martial cultivation world.
Sahhad already figured out his plan.
To acquire a divine essence of this level. A huge amount of soul sacrifice is needed. The higher the cultivation. The stronger the essence will become, but it will also become harder to absorb, and so. Sahhad deduced that Chen Fang must''ve known a secret absorbing technique for him to be so confident of capturing a divine ranked essence.
Robert already arrived, and also scouted the surrounding ruckus. But suspiciously, Lily didn''t arrive. He already deduced Chen Fang''s activity based on Sahhad''s words.
Robert immediately believed it. He didn''t held doubts about Sahhad''s words, since he was his most trustworthy vassal. Since his mother saved Sahhad''s life. Sahhad already pledged himself to protect his mother''s lifeline and this was the logical outcome.
"I see, thanks Sahhad." Robert said in a gentle tone as he broke the Resounding Talisman. He then inwardly though to himself.
"Come to think of it. This night was also the day that Lily disappeared. "
"Did Chen Fang''s sect had an influence about it? The last time her case was opened it was ruled out to be a magical beasts attack. Only Chen Fang survived at that time. "
"The most suspicious part was not that. It was because after a month of Lily''s disappearance. Chen Fang''s sect pavilion elders and great elders also disappeared. Even Chen Fang''s whole family. They seemed to left their house in a haste. Damn all of this sounds too suspicious!" Robert shook his head as he cleared his mind. His gaze intent on the glowing runic formation.
"Robert still didn''t arrive?! Hahaha, Shame him! I really thought that he loved you that much!"
Robert''s gaze came across by two familiar figures.
"Chen Fang you bastard! How dare you do this to me!"
"Hahaha, Stop struggling little Lily. I''ll take care of you from now on." Chen Fang licked his lips as his eyes glinted with debauchery. He then fiercely ripped Lily''s clothes off revealing her pinkish white skin, and the side of her two mountainous peaks.
"No!" Lily could only shout as her clothes were ripped to shreds. The only clothing that existed was the cover of her lower body. Her upper body was completely exposed, one of her hand struggled while the other covered the two mountain peaks.
"Hahaha! Show me! Show me those two! " Chen Fang pushed Lily in the ground and forcefully opened her arms to see the two pinkish tips of the mountains.
A hint of tears flashed on Lily''s eyes. She protected her body preciously and yet. It would all be lost today! She dedicated her chastity for her future husband yet she would be violated. Such thoughts flooded Lily''s mind and plummeted her emotions to the abyss.
Lily could only cry in help as her remaining clothes were ripped to shreds. Chen Fang''s face lighted up when he saw Lily''s white skin wholly. Her two arms extensively covered her most precious spot.
"Hahaha, This time no one would save you! Now! Come to daddy!" Chen Fang stripped and pressed Lily to the ground.
"CHEN FANG! YOU INSOLENT BASTARD! I''LL PERSONALLY SEND YOU TO YAMA TODAY!"
Just as he placed his raging weapon and broke through Lily''s chastity. An ear-splitting, killing intent filled howl filled the atmosphere. And with a huge explosion. A blur slowly solidified.
Cracks formed on the ground beneath as the figure slowly adjusted his posture. With bloodshot eyes. Robert clenched his fists and exploded towards the dumbstruck lust stricken Chen Fang.
He who still didn''t recover from Robert''s penetrating killing intent. Frantically waved his hands and shouted. "No, no, no, no, no! St-sto- Stop!"
Before he could continue. Blood splattered everywhere as Chen Fang''s body lifelessly fell to the ground. Robert searched for Lily and found that she lost consciousness.
He immediately turned his head to the side while slapping his bag of holding. Producing a cloth that covered Lily''s body. He made Lily float and carried her with his arms. Just as he turned back to return to his position.
A fierce ear-shattering shriek filled the air as a figure of a mountain size black tortoise materialized. Every cultivators nearby fell unconscious due to the shriek and some even struggled to get up. The black tortoise emanated a fiendish black energy which encapsulated everyone nearby.
Robert himself wasn''t able to move, and so was Sahhad.
"Humans!"
Another ear-shattering sound filled the air but this time, it was clearly audible. But this sound wasn''t made up of a human sound. More or less it was made up by countless magical beasts roaring at the same time. The sound shocked the struggling cultivators and made them all lost consciousness.
Even Robert himself fell, and lost consciousness. But before he fell to the ground. He used all his strength to snap the high grade protection talisman, which emanated a pale blue light that covered him and Lily.
The Divine Beasts emerged! But unfortunately, It wasn''t an essence, But the beast itself!
