Just staring at eachother. I woke up last night barely remembering what happened last night. The fragments that I could gather is that we had an amazing new years party. Although I was underage; my friends Gorem, Nate, Thomas and I were able to get ahold of some of my parent''s alcohol. While my parents were out on a Caribbean cruise to celebrate their anniversary and new years. I was even able to break out my shot glass chess and play with my friends, I won each time of course, but five games can still make you drink as much as lossing twice. It also brought us to the brink of passing out. I looked around with a bit of a headache and counted how lucky I was to land on the only bed in the clubhouse, where we partied, even though Gorems big body was laying down on the bed shirtless. As soon as I saw that I immediately kicked him on to the floor with a loud slap and a painful yelp. I looked down onto the floor where the yelp came from and seen what he hit. It was thomas. Poor little guy, he¡¯s only five eight and as skinny as a toothpick. I also knew he had a lot of muscle with all the parkour he does. Still Gorem weighs over 230 pounds with some thick and hard bones it must have hurt bad¡­ It¡¯s all Gorems fault anyway. As thomas got up slowly in pain holding on to his dark skin. ¡°Gorem watch where you fall, god¡± He complained. I chimmed in ¡° yeah gorem you hurt him pretty bad." ¡°Aren pushed me off!¡± Gorem yelled ¡°Quit making excuses on why you fell, accept that YOU fell on him¡± I replied. Gorem went quite knowing he would not win the argument. I looked around and seen my brother kel passed out on the floor. Nate was across the room asleep spooning his girlfriend kate. I went and fixed everyone¡¯s breakfast. By the time I finished every one got up due to the smell of bacon, eggs, and toast filling the club house. First thomas came through the door followed by Gorem then the loving couple, Nate and Kate holding hands and laughing with each other. Finaly my step brother Kel, he was holding his head in pain must be tough since it was his first time drinking. Although he is only a year younger than me since he is 16 years old. We all ate in silience out of consideration of every one¡¯s headaches. After we finished eating everyone''s headaches except kel¡¯s went away. We were all hanging out like normal, then something caught everyone off guard. Something that we did not fully know how to react. Even though I always praised myself for being calm and collected to be the fastest to react in any situation. But this, this made me stop thinking and freeze as I read what was on the floating blue screen directly in front of me.
I have grown tired of watching this boring world, where nothing interesting happens anymore. Because of that I¡¯m going to change you and earth earth into something¡­..interesting. I¡¯m giving you all a random power, that can follow through into any children you conceive
As a finished reading that part I felt a warm movement feeling in my chest. It did not hurt It just felt as if a ball of ice was there. I decided to note it and move back to finishing reading.

That is when I decided to try and throw it at the wall to make a dent. I might need a weapon because I believed every word that I read. Since it is to extensive to be a prank by humans and also if I don''t I might die. I did not like the sound of monsters, however, my test received an unexpected result. It disappeared when I threw it. I have read light novels and web novels before so I immediately knew that I must have closed the box by swiping fast. When I was starting to get lost in thought about all the questions forming in my head. The noticing that every ones faces turned paler; probably reading what was on their box. Well damn I feel so lost reading and a lot of questions are forming, however, if what I read about monsters is true then I need to learn how to use my ¡°ability¡± as soon as I can. I looked back at my friends seeing that they just read their abilities so I decided to ask. ¡°I dont know whats going on either but we need to stay calm if what we read is real. I just stared there silently staring at my brother''s dead body with tears overflowing in my eyes as hes lifeless eyes stared right back at me. Chapter 02 When i started to become aware of my surroundings i started wishing i died i saw blood everywhere. On me, on the walls, on the windows, just¡­. everywhere and the disfigured body of my friend Nate his blond hair dyed blood red, and his milk white skin was in a pile next to him along with his nails and where his blue eyes used to be are just two dark holes. It did not take a genius to tell he was tortured to death. Kate and everyone else is missing but i do not think they survived just by looking at the building that only one window stayed intact and half a wall destroyed. After what felt like an hour i left the club house and followed the path to the main house. when i arrived only the front door was broken it seemed something was in here looking for something or¡­.. prey. Searching the house room by room i saw that only the front door was broken and the back was opened. i went into my room to grab my wooden katana practice sword i was defenseless right now. That is when i remembered about the abilities i shouted ¡°ability¡± to see if the screen would pop up and¡­.. nothing i shouted it again and other words until ¡°status¡±

well that''s good i pressed the take out button as I did a golden ring with strange carvings on it appeared and i put it on and felt no change. I then decided i would try to meditate and as soon as i crossed my legs i felt the ball of energy in my chest began to grow at a steady rate. if this was twenty times faster I would hate to see the normal rate. After i had time to think i decided to spend as much time as i can to increase my spirit since it is probably like mana in a game and my ability puts me into the mage category. The next thing is to learn how to use my ability so i can actually fight and protect myself¡­.. no to be strong enough to protect people i may care about in the future if i''m weak i will be a burden and everyone will die again. I will not let that happen again. I will stay here hiding from monsters until the food runs out in the cabenant since i can''t cook since the electricity is off and it might draw in something hungry. It has been a week since then and i am almost out of food. I have also started to grasp my powers basics i can create a sharp shard of ice and con control it up to five feet around me, However, a problem¡­ more like three. Three small greyish creatures that I am calling goblins are making camp in my living room and still unaware i''m here but are blocking me and the rest of my food. i have already decided that i would kill them since to get stronger i would need to get experience with fighting and killing to survive. I pulled out my ¡®health potion¡¯ to look at what it is. it was a small glass container about the size and width of an average pinky. Another interesting thing i have found out about is that I can not put it back to items no matter how much i tried i learned that with the stone sword that is heavy and dull and is more of a club than a sword. I wait until a goblin to pass through my bedroom hall and as soon as I see one i hit it at the top of the head and knocked it out and drag the goblin into my room. By then i realized how sweaty and shaky I became since I was nervous and scared but I knew i could not stop now as I slam the stone sword into its face to make sure it was dead. the face was now horribly disfigured even more than it was in the first place. I took out some oak scented candles and lit them with the lighter in my dresser then placed them at the door in case the goblins can smell the blood. I then formed a small knife out of ice that was not as sharp as I wanted but will do. i lean the goblin against the wall look at the knife floating in the air that already started melting as i controlled it to pierce organs i believed were vital for practice. I know it is a sick thing to do but, the world of before is now destroyed, my friends are dead, and my family are probably dead also. I need to throw away the morals I have built up if i want to survive or protect no matter how much i throw up from sticking ice knives into a goblin. afterwards I noted the lethality of my power although it only lasts 30 seconds until it melts. So i decided to make them into thin needle like icicles that last ten seconds until it is unusable which is more than enough time sense i can cover a fifty foot radius with that much time since I can mentally make the needle fly fast. Then it struck me i created two needles and started to move them awkwardly at first but then they started to match since i figured to try to view them as limbs and i finally can control two. I figured now is the time for them to start looking for their lost comrade so I opened the door and peeked outside and there was one of them holding a wooden club staring at me. I almost screamed from the surprise but when it started to run at me while screaming like a madman. I created 5 needles and threw them all out of fear with little control. The result i missed most of them due to the fear. One hit its arm and broke off while another got just above its nose hitting bone and quickly melted while the rest flew past and bounced off the wall and broke due to the lack of speed from controlling five. I quickly regained my senses since I knew i needed to calm down to fix my mistake and kill it quickly because the other one most likely heard and is coming. I form another small needle and send it directly into the goblin''s eye at about fifty miles per hour. As soon as it went into the goblin''s eye it¡¯s friend came around the corner seeing it¡¯s friend died before it hit the ground it got scared and started running away. ¡°Not so fast fucker get back here!¡± I yelled running after it. If it leaves there is a chance that it will bring more so i form two more needles and as soon as I seen it when I turned the corner I shot them at It¡¯s legs to bring it down. I was able to hit it in it¡±s back of the knees to bring it down. I ran up to its crawling and screaming body trying to crawl towards safety. It made me sick but i have seen much worse so i just rammed an ice knife in its eye to kill it. I decided to bring it inside i will be staying here for two more days for shelter and to¡­. dissect the goblins to learn there weak points. *** i would like feedback and for you guys to point out mistakes to better my writing I am planning to edit this and ch1 also i am probably not going to do tables for a while since i am using a laptop Chapter 03 I would like feedback and I have edited ch 1 and two to have tables then during the poll i will go back and edit the wording and mistakes. ------------------------------ Finishing dissecting it I noted that it had a heart on each side of the chest and only a single lung. Their biggest weak points are the eyes, neck, and lower back where a softer part of the spine is. I decided to throw the bodies off at the back porch so if something hungry comes along by tonight or tomorrow morning it can eat and will hopefully leave after that. I then proceeded to train my control on using multiple ice needles, and controlling my ice creations to make them thinner, sharper, and colder until the morning. That¡¯s when I noticed, that I gained new items.

I can only guess where the gold came from but it¡¯s most likely from killing the goblins which would confirm my thought on how the inventory works. Let me review what I know. First is the powers it is easy to use, as long as you view it as a part of yourself, but still difficult without practice. The next thing is the messages, what I know about that is next to nothing and I don¡¯t have the time to deal with it or the power. Finally the inventory, it seems as if I can take out all of it but can not put it back in, then when I kill something I will gain gold or possibly items, and one suspicion that I can not test until I meet people. Now I am ready to leave, I pick up my clothes and get dressed in a black t-shirt with a grey jacket with a hood, and black jeans. tieing the stone sword into a homemade sheath for my back so it cannot hinder my movement more than the weight will, I then pick up the unbreakable vial (I tested it) with the red liquid and put it into my pants pocket. Then my gaze comes to the the the broken front door and I remember what happened the past two days. I dissected the goblins on the first day, and practiced my powers yesterday a total of nine days and now I''m ready to head out. I peek out the front door and look around for anything dangerous to no avail. Walking out the door I hear a loud crash from behind me. I looked shocked at what happened and what it was¡­¡­.. a giant man of flesh stitched together. it had one arm bigger than the other that was the size of me while the other was was only half the other it was about 7 feet tall and stitches all over its body not even a face just flesh and stitches. It started making its way towards me slowly, but I just stayed there looking at it wide eyed, stunned I never expected something like this. Something completely disgusting and repulsing, I just could not react to what I was seeing right now, until it was right in front of me swinging its massive arm at me. I pulled of my stone sword to block while forming two ice walls as hard as stone with spikes facing the flesh hoping to stop or slow it down. The next thing I know I''m flying outside along with shards of ice and my used to be stone weapon that turned into rubble flying with me into the dirt and grass. I got up as fast as I could with my wounded body, looking over my body I noticed that my right arm, that I used to block was turning completely blue and black, with my right shoulder apparently dislocated also, and a bulge of blue on the left of my stomach I could barely move and the world was spinning but I needed to concentrate on that MONSTER in front of me. Shit I was fairly sure goblins would be ranked F compared to this¡­.. but no time to think about that no since I am too injured to run, all I can do is fight and hope for that slim chance of survival. I formed ice spikes as big as pinkys and started sending them into the joints of the monster. However I found out that it was entirely flesh, no bone, or joints. Although I kept hitting it, it never slowed down it reached me when I shot around my fiftieth shot and tried to hit me however it was slow, although I can''t move or stop it I can at least move my powers. I formed a circle of ice underneath me and use it to levitate above it¡¯s head, I was breathing really heavily and I felt incredibly cold especially in my chest, I knew, I had to end it fast so I formed the largest spike I could possibly make, as hard and cold as I can. When I could not hold it anymore I let it fall on the head of the flesh golem that was searching for where I was. ¡°DIE!¡± I yelled with the last of my breath, before dropping the 350 lbs ice spike on it and it worked perfectly as the golem got impaled from the weight and the force of the fall it split like a blueberry and a pencil. as did my control on ice went away, I fell onto the ground with a thud, I felt pain everywhere, I knew I was dieing while my consciousness was fading away. That was when I remembered my last chance. As I reached into my pocket and pull out the health potion. I never tested it before this is my last hope, I opened the vial and with my cold hands I drunk the entire vial, I instantly feel much better, as I move my hands over my skin, it was as smooth as a baby and all my swelling was like it never happened. However, I still felt an intense cold in my chest and not the warmth of my spirit, so I knew spirit is something like mana. I instantly went into my inventory and pull out a spirit potion, it was half the size of a pinky and contains some sort of golden liquid, as I drink it I feel the warmth of my spirit returning. I know it might have been a waste, since it was returning slowly but that was my first time using all of my spirit, and I did not like being in the open and weak for anything to kill me. I knew from the goblins, that when I open my inventory there will be some new items. ¡°Items¡±

Yes I got good equipment for the risk and an actual sword to replace the ¡®sword¡¯. As I was engrossed in checking my inventory, I did not notice the shadow behind me until it was to late as a second flesh golem attempts to swing at me and instead of blocking I used my ice to throw me away as I hit my head again, knocking me out again. The last thing I saw, was a bunch of people fighting it, as one person is examining the melted ice that killed the golem I fought. I really hope me getting knocked out won''t become a habit. this would be the perfect test subject to test the ice manipulation evolution ability. As I look around one more time, I secretly take it out. I look at it thinking on how I do it, I know reading it will give me the ability itself and not the evolution to my ice manipulation. So I decided on a gamble that might even destroy the ability book, but since I don''t even care about this all that much because I don''t know animals or new magical creatures down to the last muscle. if the evolution works it will then end up as a different power that suits me more. for the gamble I¡¯m going to try to let the ice absorb it itself. as I start to cover it with ice I can see that everything the ice touched turned to dust. I had half a mind to turn back there but I knew it was to late to turn back now and continued until it was all dust then a new blue box appeared.

Look for the official release to support the author. 1) to continue the work normaly 2) to stop a bit and rewrite a more defined plot with more details 3) to put this on hold and start a new series (would like opinions if so) Chapter 06 ok kinda sad that only one person replied to that last one and one person pmd me but thanks to them i will post ch6 and without further aiedo here you go ---------------------------- it''s been a week since i have joined the community that called their village rishka which i have no clue why. i have decided to keep all my items secret by not taking them out, except my black iron sword which is a jet black sword and handle with no hand guard. i have to admit it looked fairly cool i also spent 350 gold to repair my wall and some nice hard leather armor with light metal plates inside where it won''t hinder my movements and a streak black cloak that is tough as leather but i mainly bought it from the merchant since it looked cool and is fairly tough. i spent most of the week getting adjusted to the life here, staring at the wooden perimeter fence i remembered my time here that i was luckily able to get a house to himself since he was strong he did not live in one of the three barracks like most people. there was a sort of ranking system here the strong are treated a bit better because they go on hunts and are the main fighters and surprisingly no one has a problem with this i guess they just do not want to fight. A few other places i visited frequently is the mess hall and my house that i was able to move a little bit outside the encampment for privacy. i barely use the infirmary and i only went to the market twice. but my new ability living ice it costs ten times as much spirit than my normal version of ice. i was able to get the gist of it and created four human noid ice statues with ice spears to guard my house in which everyone thought i was just testing my power to see how long my ice will last without melting. Today was the time for my actual first hunt with red, doc and Trent. Trent has a rank B ability for dragon breath which allowed him to shoot out elements such as fire, ice, water etc. i almost laughed at the ability since he looked incredibly funny doing so especially when he has dip in his mouth, however, he is at the last of his dip and i could swear he almost cried, i guess his whole reason for the hunt to get enough gold to buy more. as we were leaving the gate guard named joe said ¡°good hunting¡±. we all just noded and passed him. ¡°so red what are we going after on this hunt¡± i asked ¡°its crystal¡± she growled ¡°and we are hunting just some normal goblins that are causing trouble for our hunters¡± ¡°ok red¡± she just sighed accepting the nickname because i was calling her red every time i seen her. as we continued into the woods we saw an old wood cabin with about 27 goblins cooking something now unrecognizable while some kind of creaking and heavy breathing is happening inside the cabin. we quickly created a plan that trent will use fire breath on the ones around the fire while i clean up the rest with my ice needles, red will kill any that come out of the cabin while doc will stay back and observe to change the plan as needed. a loud roar and a stream of fire came out of the bush instantly covering 21 of the goblins while i used my ice to propel myself forward i arrived in about 6 seconds and shot 6 ice needles into the eyes of each goblin. i smiled at how my control on my ice increased. as soon as i saw them starting to fall i immediately used my ice to propel me towards the cabin to help red. she was fighting three goblins that did not have their loincloths on for some reason, they must sleep without them as i sent a shard of ice into the on behind red while she instantly cut the two in front of her with blinding strength and speed. we nod to each other and open the door into their cabin and was instantly assaulted by an incredibly musty and rotting smell. but we still walked in and what i saw i don''t know if i regretted coming here or not after all i saw one of my friends again but in this state i just froze crystal to she turned incredibly pale and was trembling. hearing doc and trent approaching shook me out of my shock as i went up towards what i believed to be kate i unconsciously made myself forget them they were there in my memory but they weren''t at the same time. it all came to me at once seeing Kate like this her bare double D breasts were exposed, with some kind of nasty crust on and in her her once long silky red hair was matted and was stuck together by the crust. her once playful and caring eyes are now nothing but a dark brown void that does not react to anything. Another plus is that they make excellent scouts since I could connect to their senses to see what''s around besides my four ice guards with their spears I have about 20 ice wolves and I would put them at around C+ or B- rank mainly since I could only make them as tough as iron so far, but as I get stronger so will my creations. Another thing that I noticed, is that I can change the temperature of their limbs without changing temperature of the complete body until they die, so I made their bodies into room temperature but their teeth and claws are a bit colder than ice, for better penetration. Another good thing is, that they slowly regenerate their ice bodies back, so I do not have to repair every scratch they get while fighting. the bad side however is that I can only create three new wolves a day, without feeling tired. my mouth was agape, I thought I never took it out, so it can stay my ace in the hole but the truth was, that I could not take them out even if I tried, and who is this yuki person it sounds japanese. ordering the normal ice guards to stay and protect kate I run out the house after I decided to name my chef into chef with only one fourth of my power. reaching the encampment, I can see every one fighting at the gate or fighting to the keep walls up. I immediately summoned four ice guards, 2 with spears and two with swords to help with the walls, then after taking a potion, I summoned four wolves to help fight outside the gate and this repeated, alternating between guards and wolf''s until I had four potions left. that was when I got an idea, this time summoned four guards but a bit shorter and with halberds, with the next potion I summoned four wolves for the guards to ride which helped the front line a lot, and I kept summoning until my last potion. Drinking my last potion, I stopped summoning and sat down exhausted due to the constant spirit drain. connecting to alpha I could see the battle perfectly that we were slowly overwhelming them, due to the fact that my ice minions do not have stamina, even though few were killed and the rest of the community was resting to restore their spirit and stamina, my ice troops were powerful enough to fend for themselves, which made me happy to see how powerful I have became, that I am able to protect the ones I chose to. Half an hour later, we nearly finished off the last of the attackers.
