《Origin Online》
Origin Online
Author Note: This is my first light novel, Hoping you all like it.
''THE LIGHT, IT BURNS!'' Screamed Ren, as his Mom wrenched open the curtains.
''Now now,'' she chuckled, ''You know you have to be up before eight.''
He groaned, forcing himself out of bed as his Mother left the room. He dragged himself towards the computer, scrolling through pages of comments about the virtual reality game ''Clarification''.
Though not the first virtual reality game, it took the world by storm, boasting 72% reality.
His eyes widened at the mention of a new game with 84% reality. Ren, being the neet he is, had reached the place of rank 72 in ''Clarification'' only below neets with steel encased doors that refused to come out.
He looked up the game online, looking for information about it, only to start crying when he realised the release date was today.
He shoved on clothes, racing past his gasping mother who had never seen him move so fast, his long, black hair trailing behind like whips.
Licking his dry lips, he headed towards the video game store, well, what should be the video game store, instead it was a bustling crowd of people.
Joining at the back of the crowd, he shuffled along till the crowd formed into something that resembled a line.
After several more hours of shuffling he had moved exactly 3 steps forward, during this time, he had been horrified by the fact he developed a light tan.
Looking for a speed-up option, he noticed a trash can down a side-alley, it would be something you would normally miss, but after so long, he could move through the crowds with his eyes closed.
He saw something that resembled¡ but no...it couldn¡¯t be, right?
IT WAS!
He scrambled down the side alley, grabbing it before someone else saw it, a box, with the words printed on - Origin Online.
He ran home, feeling like a king with the save of time and money.
If only he saw the words scrawled on the box, Faulty goods.
He ran past his mother again, moving faster than before, he plugged the silver headset into the computer, locked his door and slowly brought it down on his head.
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. In all the other games he played, the character creation started in darkness, in this however, he was standing there in a calm light.
¡®Hi!¡¯ a voice chimed around him.
He searched around looking for the voice, only to find naught, ¡®Welcome to origin online, where you can be reborn!¡¯ The voice echoed around
Suddenly, a blue panel appeared in front of him, ¡®This is the character creation panel, You can choose from many races, including Elves, Humans and Demihumans!¡¯
He searched through for such races, however all that appeared seemed to be monsters, you could see things as majestic as a dragon or well, a slime¡
Well, the slime did come in different colours.
¡®I can only see monsters?¡¯ He replied questionably.
¡®As I said, You can choose from many races, including Elves, Humans and Demihumans!¡¯
Assuming it was an AI, he started looking around at the choices, Goblins, Wolves, Wraiths, Giants.
However one caught his eye, The Dragon.
What was more majestic, more noble, than a dragon?
Clicking on it, He started customising the scales, setting them to a deep asure colour, while letting the pearl-like eyes to gold, next he started on what he liked the most, the size.
Setting the size to maximum, he looked at the measurements. 300m long.
A slight smile formed on his face.
Then he formed black spikes from the muzzle, reaching to the tip of the tail, where there was a viscous end.
Last, but definitely not least we''re the wings.
Leathery wings spread from its, or his, back as they enveloped the light, veins ran through them, like cracked ice.
As he pressed enter the voice chimed again, ¡®You will start off as a child, each day will count as a year for 20 days. Then you will stop growing, take this time to get used to the world and your new body, At the end of each day, there will be a blinding light, in that time your body will change.¡¯
(Yes, the chapters do get longer)
Dragon of Ice
Author note: Some may not like what was added in his stats, however, as a soon to be 300m monstrosity, he has to have some natural traits.
A vision flooded his mind.
A scarred dragon, whispering into a cube.
¡°Young one, you are my only child, my strength will be passed into you¡±
The vision floated out of existence as he opened his eyes.
As Ren looked around, all he could see was a crystal like structure.
"Ah..." He realised,"Dragons come in eggs don''t they."
He looked down on his body, small scales glistened down his chest, as jewelled paws scratched at the egg''s casing.
Bit by bit, light flooded the egg.
As the fluid seeped out, he cautiously stretched out his front leg, then the other one, then fell flat.
Forcing himself back on his feet, or paws, he looked around at the surrounding landscape.
He was on the highest point of a rocky mountain, his egg around the size of a rabbit.
Noticing the pain in his stomach, he stretched out his neck and chewed some of the shell.
It tasted like bacon.
Author note: Mmm baconnnnnn...
Soon, he had finished it all, and like the voice said, started to learn how to walk.
He moved his wobbly leg forward, then his back, then the others...
It was the proudest step of his life!
He repeated this for several minutes, gaining speed bit by bit.
Next was the wings, he started feeling for all the senses in his body, searching for what would make them move.
Looking behind him, they started to switch, the scales clicking together.
He swung them up, then down, to his delight, he rose slightly, faster than before, he swung his wings...
And flew off a cliff...
The voice sounded again "After dying, you will be transported to the nearest shrine for your race, from there you can roam in soul form or head back to your body!"
It sounded annoyingly happy.
The shrine was adorned with sculptures of dragons, cobwebs littered the room and the air was as cold as ice.
Deciding to head back to his body, he moves in the direction pointed to by a floating arrow.
''Oh?'' He thinks, ''My body is strangely light''
Noticing this advantage, he started to practice flying.
Keeping his wings straight to avoid a repeat of last time, he continuously flapped to stay off the ground.
Rising into the air, he angled his wings in the direction of the arrow and after several falls, he started to understand the aspects of his new body, and could fly easier.
A transparent window appeared in front of him.

His jaw, or muzzle, dropped at his mana.
¡°Is this what was meant by his knowledge?¡° Sadly for him, He had no use for his mana, so he had to stick with pitiful beginners stats for now.
Entering his body, he felt gravity once more weighing down on him, but with his new-found skill, his wings would stay level unless purposefully moved.
First, when you started any game, looking for quests was most important, however in his current state, he doubted that was possible.
He decided to log out and join once his body had improved once more.
¡°Log out¡±
His surroundings dimmed as the darkness of the helmet came into view, he lifted it off, his long hair falling over his shoulders.
It was then he saw it, the marking on the box - Faulty
However, Instead of annoyance, an uplifting feeling filled him, as he considered the fact that his race traits would allow a fully grown him to easily slaughter any other player his level.
He started to look online for information on the game using forums:
[Anaki] : Aww, Me as a baby night elf is sooooo cute!
[Death23473] : BOW BEFORE ME YOU PEASANTS, I WAS BORN INTO THE FAMILY OF A DUKE, MUAHAHAHA
[CookieLover] : Noooooo, Not fair, I was born into the family of a hunter!
[OriginStaff144] : No need to worry, to make the game fair, all families have traits to allow players to play on the same level, Such as Death and Cookie here, While Death may be in a high class family and has lots of money, Cookie can get the Hunter class, and will be able to level easier, because of the need to hunt from a young age.
Also, Someone as a peasant would get skills such as cultivation, and would get easy stats from hard labour work on the field.
[Drogath] : I like chicken :3
[CookieLover] : ¡
[Death23473] : ¡
[Anaki] : ...
This is only about 200 more words than the last one, However i plan to slowly increase the chapter length through the storyline, As a question to readers, Should I continue to do detail for each day, and expand the 20 days over around 10 chapters, Or should I do up to day 20 in next chapter, with a
[Day 1] [Day 2] Pattern?
Naratic
Though Ren now understood that all families were on the same level, he also knew that a Dragon was not supposed to be a chooseable race.
After eating a snack and having a light nap, he logged back in.
As the forest view appeared around him, he was pleasantly surprised by his new size.
At around the size of a wolf, he could easily hunt for food.
It was then he noticed two windows in front of him.
Active skill learnt: Fire Breath
An ability that uses mana to allow fire to come from your throat.
5 mana per second
Title trait : You can adjust the temperature of your fire.
Active skill learnt : Size Change
An ability that allows you to change to any of your 20 day forms, though only ones previously experienced, in the 5 seconds you change in, you will be vulnerable to all attacks.
100 mana per use.
"Eh..." Thought Ren, "I really am a Dragon..."
Considering he still had a little egg (Bacon) left, he decided to put it in his bag and hunt later.
After getting used to his new form, he checked his map for any nearby civilisation, noticing a small village nearby, Ren decided to head in that direction.
With his new size, his wings had grown by far and he reached the village in a mere few minutes.
When he noticed it in the distance, he used up 100 mana to change into his younger form, and lowered to the ground.
Ren closed in on the village walls, flattening himself against the ground, and went under a crack in the walls.
"Nyaaaaaa!" A tabby cat screeched in-front of him.
A snort of fire came from his mouth, as he directed mana to his throat.
The cat skittered down the alley, it''s tail smoking.
As he followed the direction it left, he found himself in a brightly lit town centre, with flowery houses on all sides.
Voices sounded behind him, as he was grabbed from all sides.
Turning his head , he saw a group of toddlers looking at him.
"Omg, I never thought this game would have baby dragons, it''s soooooooo cute!"
Another child was grinning, they were all clearly players.
"I know right! I want a little handbag to put it in!"
As Ren was helplessly dragged along, he realised he could use this to learn about this world.
However he was dragged into the child''s house.
¡°Mama, Can I keep this as my pet?¡± The child cautiously asked her mother.
¡°I-is that a DRAGON?¡±
¡°Yes mama¡±
¡°Haha, Trust my child¡¯s luck¡± The mother was standing there with a big smile on her face.
¡°My daughter, you may not know but our village is one that considers dragons as gods, keeping him as a mere pet is not enough, his finding will be announced to the village!¡±
Unseen to everyone else, the dragon had a window appear in-front of him.
Quest : Deity
The village of Naratic is an age old one that has always considered dragons as Gods.
Objectives: Have them consider you a god.
Reward : The village and surrounding land
¡°I-is this not too easy?¡± He pondered such things, he had barely been in the game for two days, yet he was almost a landowner?!
He accepted the quest and allowed himself to be carried to the village chief.
If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it.
"Mr.Chief!" The woman was beaming, "My daughter found this young dragon wandering around, we assumed to bring it to you"
The chief¡¯s eyes grew as wide as saucers as he reached out and carefully picked up Ren.
¡°Well done, I will be around your house to speak with you later¡±
The chief gave the two a large smile as he closed the door and headed down a large hallway,
he placed Ren on the table and his face changed to a more serious one.
¡°Now then young dragon, I know you can speak.¡±
Since coming to this world, he had had no chance to attempt speaking, and used this opportunity to try.
¡°Nacc two mett yew, Ah cannet speyk well.¡±
(Nice to meet you, I cannot speak well)
The village chief was taken aback by the poor speech.
¡°Well, I guess you can use your time here to improve your speech, though, why are you here?¡±
¡°Ah wus wendering aroond an ah saw this playce.¡± (I was wondering around and I saw this place.) His speech was slowly improving.
¡°I see, do you have no parents?¡±
¡°Now, Dey died befo I was bown.¡± (No, They died before I was born.)
¡°I see, as a follower of your race, I will offer you free roam of the land surrounding this village, and will teach you things around this world whenever need be.¡±
¡°Dank you.¡±(Thank you)
The village chief handed over several books.
¡°Im assuming you can read?¡± The village chief had stopped himself before handing them over.
¡°Yeh¡± (Yes)
¡°Then take these, you cannot rely simply on your natural traits, these are books that will teach you spells.¡±
¡°Thank you¡± His speech was almost on par now.
¡°Please come back whenever need be, the villagers spirits will be heightened by your presence¡±
As he was lead outside, he could hear a light cheering.
It seemed the villagers found out about him.
Deciding to act the part, he strutted outside and blew some smoke into the air.
The children waved as he started to fly away, he landed around 300m away from the village, and changed into his larger form.
Another window appeared in front of him.
Quest : Deity
You have semi-completed this quest and have gained respect and as much freedom as a resident in the land, however, you have not achieved the goal, this can still be achieved later when the opportunity arises.
He closed the window and started on the books.
Despite his expectations of needing to read it, he simply grabbed hold of the book when the information appeared in front of him, he repeated this with the other books :
Active Skill learnt : Ice Shard
Shoot a small amount of Ice from your palm
2 mana per use
Active Skill learnt : Flame
Shoot a small amount of Fire from your palm
2 mana per use
Active Skill learnt : Spark

2 mana per use
Active Skill learnt : Gust
Shoot a small amount of Wind from your palm
2 mana per use
Active Skill learnt : Pebble
Shoot a small amount of Earth from your palm
2 mana per use
After attempting these skills, he logged off and went to sleep.
A new home
Author note: I got lazy and stopped for a bit D:
Just a reminder, This is my first Ln and I''m not happy with the chapter, but I struggled on how to change it so it might be a disappointment if anyone actually cared.
After logging back in, Ren noticed that he was dropping at a steady pace, He beat his wings to elevate off the ground. It was then he noticed the size change, he was easily the size of a cow now, after logging in the tree he rested in had snapped under his weight.
Considering that he had eat all of the egg, he decided to hunt to increase his level.
He was disappointed he only gained one skill
Active skill : Identification
Use this skill to find out the stats of anything within 50 levels of you.
No mana per use
He left into the skies and searched around for some prey to eat.
With the advanced sight of a Dragon, Ren easily found several edible things, aiming for the closest one, he dived down and rammed into a rhino like creature, his neck straining under the pressure.
Before the creature had a chance to retaliate, he swung his claw forward, powering mana into it.
A number appeared above its head.
1032!
This was easily over the creature''s health, and he brothe fire over its body, cooking it.
Before bringing his head down above its body, he noticed his experience bar rose to 97%, something he was quite pleased with.
Well, Perhaps that''s a bit mild.
"YAHOO"
At this point, the body was abandoned to go on a killing spree.
His eyes scanned the immediate vicinity, looking for prey.
Treant, Lvl 44
He strode forward, despite the huge level difference, all he had was confidence.
His paw shot forward, shattering branches, however a dull sound emerged when he hit the trunk.
144!
He panicked from the low number, he charged nearly 6000 mana into his throat.
...
...
...
It''s not easy to explain, First was the number from the Treant.
12742.
Next was the burning of all trees in a kilometre radius.
Then was the chaos that ensued.
He flapped his wings as fast as he could, ignoring the level up messages, he headed towards a nearby mountain.
He rested in a cliff side cave and laid down his head, whimpering.
You see, in that kilometre radius was the village of Naratic.
Those people that had smiled and waved, they were all dead.
He peeked at the level up messages, he had shot up to level 54, as many other creatures had been destroyed.
Another message, however, caught his eye.
Quest : Deity
Status : Complete
From the destruction of the village of Naratic,
you have claimed complete ownership of the land.
However this area has been marked as a Dragon''s land and many will come to fight you, this land can be used to build a lair.
Status change : Chaotic
Cause : Killing NPC''s
He choked back tears as he remembered the kind village chief, and swiped away the signs.
Deciding to make a lair for now, he pushed his body off the ground, stones scattering in his wake.
First was to find a place to have his lair.
He surveyed his land, looking for a monster dungeon to use.
His eyes rested on a dilapidated castle in the distance, he shot towards it, and soon was there.
The walls were on the verge of tumbling and the nearby grasses had overgrown.
He flew over the wall and dropped into the courtyard.
"KAA DRAGON"
Even the skeletons were shaking in their boots.
A brave one swung its sword, however it shattered upon impact.
Ren spoke quietly, however his voice seemed to bear down on the skeletons bones.
"Who is your leader? Bring him to me."
However one stepped out of the crowd and spoke with some intelligence.
"I am in charge here."
Ren shattered his bones in one shot.
"No, You were in charge here."
The skeletons didn''t dare fight back, and all started to kneel.
This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon."I will be back later, your task for now is to make this place fit for me, also", He lifted his claw towards the front, "Make sure to clear out that area so I can land properly next time."
They skittered away at his command, though he had not set a leader of the skeletons, they had lived together for a great amount of time and therefore had similar tastes.
Therefore through that, the castle all had a similar design.
Ren lifted back into the sky and marked down the castle as a place of interest on the map.
The village of Naratic was still somewhere he needed to go and it only just struck him that there may be some survivors from the explosion, at least the users could respawn.
He landed in the smouldering remains of the village, few houses still stood and the smell of burnt flesh lingered in the air and the only noise was the sound of fire burning.
Ren headed towards the village chief''s house and broke through the door, well, the door wasn''t really still standing anyways.
He searched through what was left of the rooms, looking for at least a corpse, yet there was none to be found.
He left the house, but as he was leaving...
*Whatever the sound of a loose floorboard is when stood on*
Ren lifted his paw up and down several times, checking for the noise.
*Whatever the sound of a loose floorboard is when stood on*
*Whatever the sound of a loose floorboard is when stood on*
*Whatever the sound of a loose floorboard is when stood on*
He next crouched down and prised it up with his nail, yet the floorboard had only a human sized hole underneath, meaning he had to change shape.
He only fell for a moment before landing, Ren found himself in a cellar/basement, with a path leading off.
He followed the path but what he found was beyond his imagination.
All the residents were alive and well, sitting in a comfortable looking room.
"But, how? Clearly the message said the village had been destroyed?" Ren thought to himself, however the message did not lie, the village had been destroyed, not the residents.
He glided over to the chief, who was surprised to see him to say the least.
"How on earth did you survive? That fire was ridiculously strong..." Ren said, feigning innocence.
"The magic of the last chief!" The sweating man replied "And thank Dragon it was there! When the village is in danger we''re all teleported down here."
"Ohh, I see, so what are you going to do now?"
"I guess, see where the winds take us, but I guess it will give the new blood some experience while we travel"
By now Ren was ready to leave and say goodbye to the village, however a noise chimed in his ear.
Quest : A new home
Help the villagers find a new home
Objectives: Find a home for the villagers within 3 months.
Reward: Wheel of fortune
"Actually Chief, I saw a castle nearby and took it over, feel free to come live there for as long as you want, there are guards too!"
"You are too kind, normally I would say No, but considering the state of the village I cannot help but follow you up on that offer."
Quest : A new home
Complete
Wheel of fortune
Well, that was easy...
At this point time slowed down and came to a halt, then the room morphed into something similar to a circus game, In front of him was a large wheel and by his side was a lever.
On the wheel were many luxurious prizes, Such as hundreds of gold coins and legendary mounts.
He morphed into his strongest form and pulled the lever.
------------------
Tell me what you want him to win! (If you can be bothered that is) Also make what he wins ridiculously op of you want, the point of this story is an op character.
I''m still planning to increase by 200 words per chapter till its 4000 per chapter, after that it''s when the actual story starts, also idk when the next chapter will be out, perhaps tomorrow, perhaps next year.
A Home Fit For a King
The lever swung back as the wheel started turning, creating a strong wind.
Like a hypnotic trick, Ren''s eyes followed the wheel as it clicked over prizes he would die for.
It slowly came to a halt, landing in an incredibly thin opening, as he looked closer, he could make out the words written there.
S-Class Player Estate.
For those who do not know, Player Estates are homes that the Owner has complete control over.
The player can choose who can come in, can decide on where it is placed and the player is even invincible within when the house is not being attacked.
Player estates are ranked E,D,C,B,A and S with E being the lowest and S being the highest.
Not only are S ranked player estates extremely rare, they come with a piece of land.
Ren was lost for words, therefore he simply uttered the words "Teleport to player home".
The surroundings changed into a Castle which was on a floating island.
This castle was grand in every aspect, it was still sized for a human as most online races were that size.
Ren was still able to transform into his smaller size so this would not be a problem.
This Castle may have been human sized but In no aspect was it small, The walls were decorated with gold patterns and was easily a kilometer wide.
He doubted he would ever know all of the castle.
The island it was on was ridiculously big, easily 3km wide, looking like an upside down mountain.
Ren morphed into his smaller form and headed into the castle.
Little did he know that there was far more to surprise him.
As he entered through the front door, he saw hundreds of maids lined up, with one stood in front of him.
"Master! I am head maid Arina! Please allow me to show you around your new estate."
(Author''s note: This felt awkward to write, however I guess I needed the obedience aspect :/)
The corridor branched off many times and extended to a door at the end.
The door was extremely large, and was decorated with patterns of dragons similar to himself.
As they walked towards it, they automatically swung open to reveal a majestic interior.
The room was covered with gold and precious Gems and had two corridors leading off either side.
A red carpet continued up till the end of the room, where a solid gold throne stood, like overseeing its Kingdom.
Ren was taken aback, the luxury of this place was beyond his Imagination, luxuries he could never afford were common here.
He cautiously walked towards the throne, still in disbelief that this was all his, and lowered himself into it.
As he sat down, countless messages popped up in front of him, he deleted the useless ones, such as lists of servant names, and info of the island''s location.
A map was portrayed eventually, depicting the castle. There were 3 "wings" overall, and a main body of the castle, surrounding it was an invisible shield, slightly hi-tech but you wouldn''t want a house like this damaged!
He next looked at the stats of the castle, but these were more ridiculous than the castle itself!
First was the money, the number shown by the screen were: 12642800G
He was visibly blown away by this number, from what he had seen on online forums, this even exceeded the wealth of most Royal families, Perhaps even equal to the dwarves!
Were he to sell this for real money, he could easily get several million through selling to various people, sadly, that would let on that his game was malfunctioning and cause it to get shut down.
Another ridiculous thing was the item list, the castle had various storage rooms and treasuries, this list showed the listings of items in such rooms.
He had countless priceless artifacts, with strengthening recourses that could instantly get him to Lvl 300, He could wipe out countries only a few days into the game.
On the list also showed the armoury items, the armoury was split into 4 sections:
Soldier
Elite
General (Rank)
Leader
The first three were obviously not in use, however the Leader showed his own private set of items.
The Armour Of Morgath
Emperor Broadsword
Staff Of The Gods
All three of these were Divine class items!
The Armour was easily one of the strongest in the game, and most likely the strongest discovered, however, he did not know whether they would fit his dragon form, however, as a Divine class item, he assumed it had a body fit ability, The broadsword and staff, however, were only for humanoids. (Beings shaped like a human, E.g: Elves, Trolls, Orcs, Dwarves) but he assumed there may be a way for him to use them.
The most shocking thing, however, was the ¡°Control room¡± This allowed him to control aspects of the island and also the location.
He stood up from the throne, ¡°Arina, You can leave now¡±
¡°Yes master¡±
However, instead of going to the doors, He executed the command, ¡°Teleport, Azure Flame, Control room¡±
As the owner of the castle, he could execute commands such as these, making it possible for him to easily get around his estate, these were added only for S-Class estates, meaning they would not have to walk constantly to get to places.
Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit.
The control room was located inside the ¡°Mountain¡± At the core, separate from the rest of the castle, unable to be reached from intruders and only possible to get there by commands.
The command room was easily 100m in all directions, with thousands upon thousands of sigils covering the walls.
In the center was a large podium with a book on top of it, to which Ren made his way towards.
The book looked like a holy artifact, and he could feel an immense pressure from it.
He opened it up, greeted by the site of the commands for all of the sigils.
¡°Open, Castle view, Azure Flame¡± All around him screens opened up, Displaying camera like pictures of the castle, maids were constantly running around, cleaning up the palace, as some slept.
As the servants seemed to come with the castle, and were seemingly used to it, he assumed they were AI¡¯s that only had a purpose to clean, Meaning no food or water needed for them.
(Author note: If you don¡¯t understand, imagine them as clever robots, that sleep when not needed, and clean when there is dirt)
He switched his sight over to a panel showing a bird''s eye view of the island, deciding he should move it to somewhere more useful, As at the moment, it was hidden in a dimensional pocket separated from the rest of the game.
He opened up a map of the world and looked around, eventually he found a spot between several cities, with only 100 miles to the closest one, this is as he intended to make money through players using the castle as a dungeon.
He checked the coordinates of the place and spoke the command,
¡°Teleport Player home, X1623 Y 2834, Altitude 3 km¡±
There was a slight shaking as the player home moved to the desired place, and the view in the bird¡¯s eye camera changed to show the castle high in the clouds, and a luscious forest below it.
The fact that he could see the ground meant people could see him from the ground, so the word about the island would spread quickly, though first he had to make an actual dungeon itself, He couldn¡¯t have people wandering around his castle like idiots, slaughtering the servants.
He first blunted the bottom of the ¡°Mountain¡± and turned it into a platform, then made spiral stairs going into the first floor of the dungeon, This floor would hold simple monsters and traps. This floor was mostly a maze, with some more stairs continuing to the next floor, However Ren planned to make the second floor once the 20 days were up, so he continued to work on the second floor.
He added several types of traps, including flame traps, spike and monster traps, while making the maze incredibly confusing to make enemies want to suicide.
The monsters were levels ranged 10-50, with 50 being the level boss, These were spawned using the gold in the treasury, with a cost of 1 gold per level, however he could not spawn something with a higher level than his own, otherwise he would straight away have fun watching lvl 10000 boss monsters fight.
The maze was huge, easily 700 meters in each direction, and riddled with traps, there would be a very high mortality rate.
Ren realised that at this point, he needed to raise his own strength to be able to spawn higher level monsters, ¡°Teleport treasury, Strengthening scrolls, Azure Flame¡±.
Again his surroundings dimmed, and reappeared in front of a mountain of scrolls, all of these would give him levels and abilities, instantly raising his strength beyond comparison, he could easily make creatures that could destroy cities, ¡°Take all strengthening scrolls, Inventory, Azure Flame¡±
His limitless inventory was instantly full with scrolls of all kinds, which he proceeded to activate, his levels were going up in the tens, and after constant tapping of ¡°Select scroll¡± ¡°Activate Scroll¡±.
In the end his level stopped at a number he could have never imagined.
Level 478
He was by far the strongest in the game, and had uncountable stat points he could invest.
He got 10 stat points per level, so he emptied 1500 into INT,AGI and STR, With the remaining 280, he put into luck, incase he ever got a Wheel of fortune again.
He had also gained countless skills, (Author: Which I am too lazy to write) and now needed a weapon to match them.
¡°Teleport, Leader Armoury, Azure Flame¡±.
Considering the names, He expected the weapons to be grand beyond belief, However the items that appeared before him were¡ Blocks of Iron?
However, after a moment he realised the problem, He reached out his paw and gingerly touched the largest cube.
It immediately became like liquid and wrapped around his body, becoming incredibly flashy armour, it was seemingly made of diamond and gold, with incredible defence, He proceeded to touch the other two cubes, which became similar to knuckledusters, The right paw was the sword, which covered his claws, These became like adamantium and were incredibly sharp, While his left paw became made of incredibly hard crystal, which could limitlessly power up his spells by up to 10000 MP.
Overwhelmed by all of this, Ren teleported to his private chambers, which was large enough for his next upgrade, and logged out.
Simply the best!
Waking up, Ren wasted no time to log into the game, yet as always his size had grown massively , about twice his previous height and easily triple his length.
He was shocked by this sudden growth spurt, however he assumed at the rate he was going, he couldn''t reach 300m in 20 days.
He first shrunk down to an appropriate size, and teleported to the control room, he had decided that today he needed to explore some real cities, mainly to gain resources and to get people to come to the dungeon.
At the moment the only people who would come would be NPC''s, however, unlike some games, the NPC¡¯s could fight, though none could match him.
After notifying the maids he would be gone for a while, he teleported to the control room and turned on all defences, excluding invisibility.
Ren then proceeded to teleport to the front of the island, checked his map, changed to his largest form, and started to fly towards the closest city shown on the map.
Normally he would have checked the area when he first moved the castle to this place, however he knew all he needed to with the ingame map.
With his new form, flying was at a ridiculous speed, and he easily covered the 100 miles in 30 minutes, entertaining himself along the way with daydreams of the future of his city.
As he came within one mile of the city, he lowered himself closer to the ground and changed his form every 100 metres, till he was in his smallest form, However, this was not how he would enter the city.
He had gained many skills from the pile of scrolls, however there were some that were not for fighting, he had gained two of such types that caught his attention.
Humanification
Change [Appearance]
Once he reached the ground, he activated Humanification, To transform into a human, only then could he use Change [Appearance] to transform into an elf, then again to transform into a man in about his 20¡¯s.
His armour and weapons also changed, the armour looking like white gold, with diamonds and rubies encrusted all over.
The sword was solid mithril, with a hilt made of Adamantium, and a diamond pommel, the sheath looked like it was simple steel, and when the sword was placed inside, turned the sword so it looked ordinary, this function could be turned off and the sheath also became rich with jewels, It had invincible durability to hold the sword without it breaking through.
The staff was made of dark oak, the rarest type in the game, it was almost unbreakable with a crystal at the end for channeling and strengthening extra mana, a crystal this large would easily cost as much as several castles.
Ren closed towards the city, and ran around the outside till he saw a city gate in the distance, he walked further away, and followed the road back, then walked towards the gate along the road, looking like a normal traveller, well, partially normal.
There was a long queue to enter the city, which he joined at the end, attempting to not stick out, however, this was obviously impossible.
People all around issued gasps of surprise at his body that was seemingly glowing in money, Ren, however, acted unfazed and attempted to look like an expert, looking at those below him.
By now, the guards had come over to see what the disruption was, only to see Ren standing there, in all his glory, they immediately escorted him to the gate, as instructed they should do for the rich by their superiors, and let him go straight through.
Ren was taken aback by this, however realised it was to gain his favour and ignored it.
The city was fairly nice, with well made buildings and stylish clothing.
He could see players all around, with their NPC parents or on their own. His first reason for coming was to get people to go to his dungeon, therefore he headed to the adventurers guild to report his ¡®findings¡¯.
As he entered in, the smell of ale was in the air, with a murmuring of voices all around.
With his heightened senses, he could make out some words. Many were shocked at his armour, with some jealous and calling him just a rich merchant.
He walked up to the desc, where an extremely respectful elderly man stood, ¡°Handing in a Quest sir?¡±
¡°Ah,no, I¡¯d like to actually register one and also¡ Register as an adventurer¡±
¡°Oh! I assumed you already were by your attire, anyways, please state the specifics of your quest¡±
Ren proceeded to tell the man about an island in the sky he had seen, giving map co-ordinates, to the surprise of the man, and giving a reward of 1000+ gold for information about it, and also more for more detail about its inside.
¡°Ok then, Sir, We need to test you to determine your adventurer rank¡± This surprised Ren as most games had the classing, do a some quests, go up ranks system, however this got rid of the whole, super-strong low-rank problem.
They proceeded around to the back of the adventurers guild, where a large sigil was on the ground.
¡°Sir, stand on this, various monsters will attack you, how long you last for will determine your rank.¡±
Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel.First was a goblin, which he simply killed off with his aura, this continued for the next 20 monsters, till they reached level 100, by this point the elderly man was on his knees with wide eyes.
He tested even SSS rank adventurers here, yet even them had to use physical attacks to kill the creatures.
Up till level 150, the monsters were all defeated in one strike, however at this point the monsters stopped.
¡°S-sir, You completed the entire test, I normally would leave this here and just give you SSS rank¡ However you clearly far surpass that, Please follow me¡±
Ren followed the elderly man around the side of a building, where an unsuspecting outside storage closet stood.
He opened it up with a key by his waist, and revealed a set of stairs leading down into the darkness, Ren stepped into the closet and down the stairs, brushing away cobwebs.
At the bottom was a large stone room, with another, red, sigil in the center, the elderly man stayed back, however motioned for him to continue forward.
As Ren stepped into the room, it started glowing with an immense light, this light slowly started to form a being.
It condensed into a being that emanated an aura of power.
Embodiment of Destruction, Level 221
Swish. Off goes the head.
The old man was on his knees, ¡°H-How! That was summoned by the strongest known magician!¡±
¡°Oh¡ Really?¡±
Ren walked over to the man and offered him a hand to help him up, which was accepted, although trembling.
¡°You.. You are the only Alpha rank in the world, That summon was given to all of the cities, and has never been defeated anywhere thus far¡ come, this information needs to be registered on the system.¡±
Ren followed the man back to the desk, where the man took out a clear, glass device.
¡°Please give your name, an alias is fine if you wish.¡±
¡°Azure Flame¡±
¡°Also, please hold this stone so we can assess your strength in numbers.¡±
Ren held onto the tablet, as he felt a small bit of mana drain out of him, the man was shocked like never before.
He had expected that Ren had been at most level 300, which was already unequaled, however, his current level of 478 was shocking.
This was marked down with fingers trembling like reeds swaying in the wind.
A blue and white medallion was handed to him, ¡°This is to show your Alpha rank status, show this anywhere and you can get privileges equal to an emperor.
Ren cut off the fabric holding it in place and with the shaping of the armour, attached it to the area around his left chest pocket and without another word he left the building.
The old man was still behind with a pale face, as he sent off this information to the capital, in the event he should ever go there, he would have the king greet him personally.
Now Ren had another place to pay visit to, The merchant guild.
Whatever game you played, a merchant guild would have incredible wealth, meaning incredible power, this was another group he needed to get on his side.
He strode into the merchant¡¯s guild after a while of looking around, and exuded an aura of nobility and power.
Immediately the guild leader stumbled over to him to greet him
¡°Great sir, Do you need something?¡± This man was obviously attempting to smooth talk,
¡°May I join the merchants guild?¡±
¡°Yes sire, however, there is a fee of 100 gold, with 6 ranks of wealth, your rank depends on how much money you have.¡±
¡°What rank for 12000000 G?¡±
The man had a grin plastered on his face, however you could see patches of sweat all over him.
¡°Surely you''re joking?¡± However the man knew that Ren had a large amount of money simply by his attire.
¡°I never joke.¡± Ren was still attempting for an aura of nobility.
The man could not help but stutter as he said the words ¡°Midas class, merchant king¡±.
(Please tell me if you think of a better name for the highest rank!)
After procedures similar to the adventurers guild, another man left shaking, the same capital shocked, and a medallion on his right chest pocket, he left the building.
As Ren left, he could not help to breathe out, he felt he may have rushed, but had to get away from all that pressure.
¡°Teleport, Azure Flame, Player Home¡±
He appeared back at his home, and using his powers, erected a gazebo in the garden, which he would rest in for his next growth, as his room would not be able to hold him any longer.
Again, He had shocked himself.
So much had happened on that day, and it had changed the course of the game entirely.
Firstly, the game producers were confused about where this mysterious expert appeared from, as they knew he was not a player, and he could not be found in the NPC database, however, they did not want to interfere with the game to a large amount, so they left it be, without interfering unless he did something too major.
An invitation from the king.
Ren joined the game once more, however this growth was unlike any of his previous.
The gazebo, that he had made 10 metres tall, now had the roof resting on his back.
He wasted no time to turn back to his wolf-size form, as a deep thus followed of the roof falling back on its hinges.
He quickly teleported back into the control room to check the current state of affairs.
The maids had long finished cleaning the castle, and most of the time stayed sleeping, occasionally waking up to clean some corners.
Currently, he wandered if his request had caught anyone''s attention, however at that point, it hit him.
Firstly, even if anyone could see him from the ground, this was medieval style, unless someone with a flying spell came, there would be no hope.
Secondly he realised that even if someone with a flying spell came, they would obviously think they could cheat and go straight to the top, however with the defences he currently had, it would be an instant frying.
Once realising this, he lowered the castle to a height of about 100m, the mountain was approximately 1km tall, meaning that they most likely would not be able to see the top, his previous comparison had been thinking that people had the same senses as him, however humans had much worse eyes.
Next he needed to check in anyone had accepted the quest, so he turned to his new form and set off.
This speed was ridiculous!
He was easily covering 100m with each wing flap, and increasing as he accelerated.
This feeling of flight was always what kept remember ever getting bored of the time spent.
All humans dreamed of wings, yet he had them.
After a simple 10 minutes, he was already at the city, slowly turning into his smallest form, then the same Elf from before, this time he was going to attempt to collect information about this world, he had a map, but all that showed him was his current area.
This time, instead of waiting in line, he headed straight to the gates, with his two medallions gleaming.
Instantly, the farmer being checked was pushed aside, to let Ren go through.
Following the same route from last time, he was again confronted by the doors of the guild.
This time however, when he entered, there was not the mistake of thinking he was weak.
As he stepped in, people were instantly bowing, with faces that showed this was something that they would never forget, the strongest man known, infront of them.
The old man was still at the desc, however, he had realised Ren was not a brutal person, and was all smiles.
"Has my request caught anyone''s attention?"
To this the old man frowned, obviously nervous.
"Sadly not, they all noticed it was set by an Alpha rank adventurer, excluding the ones who passed out, they realised that if you did not know, how could they?"
"Hnn, I see. Who, Apart from me, is the strongest in this city?"
"That would be," The old man, checking through his files "SS Rank - Donovan Green, I bet he''ll be surprised when he realises he''s the best anymore!"
"And his strength level?"
"121, For the rest of us it¡¯s strong, but it''s obviously nothing in your eyes¡±.
To this Ren nodded, and decided what to do, ¡°Can you register the quest as set by an S rank adventurer, otherwise I doubt anyone will attempt.
The elderly man tapped his crystal a few times, then wrote out a new quest paper to stick up, while this was being done, Ren left the guild without a word.
He then headed to the merchants guild, mainly as he had no idea as his duty of a member.
Once he reached the merchants guild, he again stood straight and emanated power. He was greeted by stares as always, as he walked straight to the desc.
The man at the desc was different from the last time, and seemed much calmer, but he had obviously been informed about Ren as he stood to attention.
¡°Sorry, you see, I¡¯m new to the merchant guild, Can you first inform me what I have to do?¡±
This surprised the man, as people generally joined the merchant guild before becoming a serious merchant.
¡°Well, Considering your current rank, you pay 2000 gold a year, In return, you get unlimited information and you get 70% off all items you buy from us!¡±
¡°I see, I need information, where can I get it?¡±
The man motioned to go through a door on the side, Ren entered through to find an assortment of books, and crystal screens playing constant information.
He headed over to the history department and searched through the books on the continent.
Several hours later he had more than he needed to know, currently, all races in the world were at peace, however there was discord between the demons and all other races, while there was not a war, it may be brooding.
Currently, there was one explored continent, which he had several maps of, though it was written as one explored continent, it was unknown even if there was another, as most who left to search for another never came back, and those that did never found another continent.
He exited the library the same way he came in, with his newfound information, he found some flaws with his current personality.
Almost all elves were, unlike some believe, not stuck up. They were often extremely kind and would never put themselves before another, they were also in tune with nature and would rarely kill an animal.
Ren had always been a large fan of elves, therefore he wished to remain this race, so he needed to change this personality of his.
In order to build this sort of impression of himself, he headed over to the city hall.
The city lord had, obviously, heard about him, and with his medallion, he headed into the office without any problems.
This novel is published on a different platform. Support the original author by finding the official source. You see, as he had looked around the city several times, he knew there was a slum area, Ren went there to fix that.
He walked into the office of the lord, who was napping behind his desk, pulled out a sack of gold coins, and dropped them on the luxury oak with a thud.
¡°A-ah, You¡¯re that Mr.Flame, You startled me!¡± He said, wiping crumbs from around his mouth.
¡°Well, I noticed that there was a slight problem in the city, in the aspect that some people have poor living quality,¡± Emphasizing the fact that it was a problem ¡°I want to fix that, In that sack there are 5000 gold coins, please spend as much as needed to help the people in the slums, you may keep the rest, also, if there is not noticeable change when I come back, There will be consequences.¡±
The mayor shuddered at the possibility of a man as influential as Ren having a problem with him, he could lose his entire city!
¡°Y-yes, at once¡± He may have been a noble, but that was nothing in comparison.
By now, Ren had spent a fair amount of time in one city, and decided it was time to find another to check his status, and what better city than a capital!
Through his various research earlier, he had discovered that the capital was much larger than any other city, by a ridiculous extent.
He left the city, after informing Arina that he would be gone for a while, and headed in the general direction of the capital, though it would improve his image a lot more, he would not be able to solve the problem in the slums at the capital, however he would surely donate enough to get a favorable impression from the people.
On his way there, he had passed many things, such as extremely strong monsters, and even a hamlet of people all screaming dragon, he had started to look around for one, then he realised what was happening.
After several hours of journeying, he reached the capital, however he knew that there would be many sentries in such a place, therefore he was already down to the ground 5km before he was there.
He could now run at an extremely quick pace, much faster than even some cars, and was there fairly quickly.
The guards at the capital were unlike the guards at the city, which he learnt the name of Herdhall, and had no clue who he was, so immediately started to get aggressive when he started to skip the queue.
However, with a quick notice of his medallions, they were quickly regretting it, this was as it was now known all over the capital that there was an Alpha rank, extremely rich person, and they were informed that if they ever saw him, they should be extremely respectful.
They escorted him to the gates of the castle, without a check, and let him go straight through.
However, once the capital had found out about his new status, they had placed magic sensors around the gate to inform them if he ever came there.
It was like the castle had exploded, instantly, officials standing to attention, as the king strode down his hallways, rushing to his carriage for the opportunity to meet such an individual.
Unknowing to all this, Ren simply wandered around the city, looking for something interesting.
¡°Where is he now?¡±
¡°Near the main road sire¡±
The carriage rushed off towards his direction.
Ren, had found a street performer at this point, and was simply enjoying the show.
¡°Sire, almost there.¡±
¡°Quicker! Before a noble catches wind of him!¡±
The horses were running as fast as their hooves could take them, while desperately avoiding pedestrians, As they came onto the road Ren was on, they were suddenly slowed down, to make it seem like the King considered him beneath himself, and was in no rush.
As the carriage pulled up next to Ren, the door opened to the gasps of others, to reveal a luxurious interior and the king inside.
¡°Mr.Flame! I have heard much about you, please, enter.¡±
Ren stepped into the carriage, wiping the mud off his boots beforehand with the grass outside.
The inside was covered in luxurious fabrics, and he sat in the carriage, with the king attempting to win his favour.
¡°Do you like my carriage?,¡± The king was trying to simply make small talk at this point, ¡°I got it made quite a while ago, this is just my one for casual visits¡± he spoke, lying through his teeth, he had made this specially for this occasion, and had cost him a large amount of his personal savings.
After a while more talking, and little progress, the king decided to come clean.
¡°Ok, seriously here, I was wondering if you could join me, As you know, I am the king of this country and many are after my life, I need powerful allies. So, Yes or no?¡±
By now the sky had started to get dark and Ren needed to get out the city before he grew unoptionally.
¡°Yes, However, please only call for me on major occasions, just speak to the elderly man at the adventurer¡¯s guild in Herdhall, he can tell me when I next visit there.
The king thanked him as Ren stepped out his carriage, a whole load of worries off his shoulders.
Ren had little time to waste, ¡°Teleport, Azure Flame, Player home¡±.
This time, however, he decided to not build a roof, due to complications, and just simply set the player home barrier to expel all sorts of weather other than sun.
Ren laid down, and logged out.
(Many thanks for the positive feedback, even though this LN is still new :P, Again, Please point out any and all mistakes, or simply things you dislike , Some parts of this chapter felt a bit awry, but I can''t really be bothered to proofread it :L
The start of an Empire
As he logged in, his size had changed massively, ridiculously, however it did not surprise him anymore, well, not entirely.
He was around 10m tall now, and about 25m long, ridges were starting to form along his back, and his teeth had grown longer and sharper.
His scales had also become a slightly darker blue, yet still in the region of azure.
First, he needed to check up for any complications within the castle, though palace might define it better.
The control room, while servants did not have access, was still extremely clean, though this might have been the effect of one of the sigils.
He had just woken up, yet he was immediately awake when he realised what was outside.
An army.
Outside was an army of soldiers, perhaps from the kingdom¡¯s military, who were all camping outside the palace.
He quickly turned into his human form and teleported to the side of the island, promptly jumping down.
A cloud of dust surfaced when he landed, the impact had seemingly hurt the surrounding soldiers more than himself, though they must have been well trained, as they immediately pointed their weapons at him.
People surrounded him from all sides, thinking they were stopping his movement.
¡°Sorry, but why are you at my home?¡±
¡°H-home?¡± Stuttered the leading soldier, ¡°This is a dungeon! Albeit a powerful one. I am the leader of this squadron, who are you?¡±
¡°Well, I¡¯m called Ren, sometimes Azure, and occasionally Mr.Flame, and you are currently looking at my dungeon, I apologise for the misunderstanding, I never thought my first guests would be an army!¡±
Before the man could utter another word, Ren leaped upwards, catching hold of the side of the mountain, then sprung himself up again, and landed softly on the grass.
Wide-eyed the soldiers could do nothing but gawp at the scene, as they realised that he was someone beyond their possibilities.
Above, Ren smirked and decided that if they bought someone powerful, they might actually beat his first floor, therefore, he started to construct the second, this one was unlike the first, which was cramped and with constant turnings.
The second floor was one large room, shaped in the Ying-Yang shape, The white was rock and the Black was lava, while the two small circles were geysers that constantly shot out acid, this funneled around and with the help of a gigantic fan, continued constantly around.
The floor would spin at random times, at random speeds and random lengths, with no more than a 5 second interval.
This was designed to stop his current ¡®guests¡¯ as when the floor moved, they would all topple like dominoes into the lava.
He also added turrets that would constantly shoot paralysis poison, to hinder movement.
Once they got through all that, there was a boss room, with three level 75 minions, and a single level 100 boss, at the end there were three Ultra-Rare level items, a staff, armour, and sword.
There was also a massive payout of 10000 Gold coins.
Well, massive for others.
He then constructed stairs to the next part, with a teleport circle to the ground, and a sign with the words ¡°Sorry, not done, Come again soon!¡±
Now he had built this castle, he realised it was about time to visit his old friends from Naratic, therefore he teleported to the side of the island without army soldiers, and, at his smallest form, dropped and flew close to the ground, once he was a while away, he changed into his largest form, and flew in the direction the map said that old castle was.
As he had moved a while away when moving the island, he had to fly for a while, yet he made up for this with his current speed.
After almost an hour of flying, and occasional hunting, he finally came into view of the castle, which was far different from his memory.
Though it may have only been a few days, houses were constructed everywhere, and the surrounding land was flourishing.
He again became smaller, and landed near the castle, which he assumed the chief lived in.
The castle was obviously, much grander than his old house, and he assumed the chief was happy with it. Ren had only met the villagers of Naratic, however there were seemingly other people here. As he walked up to the gate, however, the guards were villagers of Naratic, and let him in with an excited look on their faces.
After using his memory of this place, he searched around for the place where the village chief would be, and eventually found him in his living room.
¡°Haha, You seem to be building some sort of city here!¡±
¡°Uh-ah, MY LORD! I thought we¡¯d never see you again!¡± The old man was startled with the sudden appearance of Ren. (I mean ''my Lord'' as an expression, not as him calling Ren that.)
The expression of the man changed into one of pride, and he started to recount the story of what had happened to Ren.
¡°When you first gave us this as our home, there was a rush to build simple shacks and establish order, once everyone had settled, scouts were sent into the surrounding area, where we discovered a bandit group, simply trying to feed their children, therefore we absorbed them into our village, after making an agreement not to tell them of our beliefs.¡±
¡°From there we used them as guards, and they thankfully bought a few skilled craftsmen with them, after absorbing several villages further out, we now resemble a small city somewhat.¡±
Ren was shocked about the stroke of luck they had had with the nearby villages and the bandits for guards, however, after considering the fact that as a newly established city, they may be struggling with money, he decided to help them out slightly.
He firstly, to the shock of the chief, handed over a bag containing 150000 gold coins, this was a large amount to even Ren, however due to the fact he had lots of sympathy for them, and the fact that they were in this predicament because of him, he decided it was necessary,
The chief was shocked at seeing this amount of money, it was far more he had ever seen in his life, however, he gulped down his surprise and took the money.
After a few words of thanks, Ren took his leave, preparing to start the next stage of improving their village.
Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.
He headed in the direction of Herdhall, however, with his current human transformation, his body was extremely strong, so unlike his normal flying, he ran there instead, and simply jumped over the wall.
Had it been his first time here, guards would have been issued to arrest him, however by now, everyone had heard of his appearance in the event they saw him, so he was ignored, despite the few jealous stares.
He landed near the adventurers guild and walked right up to the quest board, placing three quests on it.
Though you would normally have to go through whoever was at the desk to place a quest, his current position far exceeded even the king, as the adventurers guild and merchant guild was not limited to only humans, and were both continental businesses.
Only if an emperor appeared, would they be below him.
However at the moment, Ren was possibly the strongest person in the races that you could normally choose from, lower than only some bosses and elder dragons.
The quests were all ones to get you to come to the new town, mining opportunities, new herbs and possibilities for employment.
The quest immediately had people milling all around attempting to see what this Alpha rank adventurer had put on the quest board.
They were shocked that such a high up person was merely advertising a city, however they had come to the conclusion with limited facts that he had used his large wealth to found a city.
With this spreading around, hundreds, perhaps thousands, set off to this city in search of wealth.
Even if the quest had not been set by him, there would still be many going as it allowed cheap purchase of territory when the city was still new, and smaller guilds, with a patriarch, would be started in an attempt to manopolise the city¡¯s trade.
Now, he had to travel back to the new city to complete the next stage of his plan.
He ran at full speed, far faster than the people who had followed the quest to get there, and had reached it in only a few minutes.
Although it was new, the city already had defined borders, yet there had not been enough time to set up a proper city wall.
Therefore, the next part of his plan was to improve the security in ways like the wall.
Without consulting the chief, he formed a stone wall going all around the city, making it extremely compact, then dousing it in fire.
Currently, people were starting to panic in the city, the wall, about 10m high, had been mistaken for an enemy attempt to hold them in.
Ignoring them, Ren next formed a magical barrier just outside the city wall, this would allow any archers standing on the wall to be able to shoot without any attacks back.
The barrier was roughly around three times the height of the wall.
Finally he dug trenches going all around the wall, around 5m deep, and about 8m wide, meaning most types of siege machines would be unable to break through.
At this point the people in the city were constantly trying to break through, but with their low levels, they could barely scratch the stone wall.
He projected his voice around the city, using wind magic to carry his voice further, ¡°Citizens, please calm down, this wall has been placed here for your protection and nothing else.¡±
Hearing his voice, some of the citizens started to calm down, apart from the few who were overly cautious.
The chief had known who it was by the voice, and had then sent around messengers to give the citizens a definite word that the wall was entirely safe and there was no need to worry.
Meanwhile, Ren had started to make a large arch at the entrance of the city, covering the outside with protective runes, such as ones that will check for malicious intent, and others that will freeze such people.
Finally he placed a retractable drawbridge going over the trench, strengthening it with magic so it can stand the weight of some larger merchant carriages, and not shatter when enemies attempt to break in.
Finally, he gave it the function to draw back extremely quickly, meaning in the event of any sudden attacks, the defence would quickly seal up the wall.
He had considered making more barriers underground, however this would stop any underground structures being built, or underground mining operations being formed.
Therefore with the completion of the wall, he had only one more step to do in the city.
He headed over to a part of the city that was mostly just empty land.
When he had gained the hundreds of different skills and magics from his ¡®island¡¯, he had gained several summoning ones, however they were mostly to be used on his land only, and most of the ones that could be used outside could only be used for a short period of time.
However, this was all apart from a single magic.
¡®Golem Creation¡¯
This one allowed you to control the elements to create humanoid creatures, with a size and strength depending on how much mana you put in them.
He used this to make hundreds of earth golems around 3m tall, then around one-hundred 5m tall, ten 10m tall, and one 50m tall.
The 3m tall ones were set to patrol around the city, and detain suspicious individuals.
The 5m ones were placed on the walls, given bows and the ability to form arrows out of their body and the ground.
The 10m tall ones were sent to the gate and the chief''s house, if people were frozen at the gate, they would detain them and take them to the prison.
The final 50m tall one was sealed up inside a boulder, and set to only come out in the event of a high level enemy that somehow broke through the wall.
Now the city had high level protection, his plan was finally complete, once the people from Herdhall got here, the economy would boost severely, and there was little chance of anyone with bad intentions getting in.
Since he had assumed the city lord had heard his announcement earlier, he didn¡¯t go to his house, and instead used the command ¡°Teleport, Azure Flame, Player Home¡±, lay down to sleep in front of his castle, and exited the game.
