《Communion of the Void》 Plant Dew Communion The glistening waterfall gently fell onto the deformed rock. The smooth fizzling song of the communion of water from the heavens and earth was the only music his soul would ever hear. The gentle flow carving its way down the cobbled stones glided over an exquisite white body of a man. The rhythmic rise and fall of this man¡¯s chest was resonating with the music of Nature. It was as if he had become the stream. The flowing water climbed over his body without a single disturbance. If one didn¡¯t look closely, they would have mistook the man for a rock. At this time, an otherworldly beauty danced in the woods not too far away. The extremely tranquil expression on the face of the beauty cooled the hearts of countless beasts who looked upon her. They were caught in a trance. A silky feeling comforted their souls. At that moment, they felt the happiest they ever did. This beauty gradually wafted her way through the woods progressing slowly towards the stream where the young man was meditating. The astonishing fact was that the rhythm of her dance was in perfect sync with the breath of the young man under the waterfall. The energy in their bodies waxed and waned just like the phases of the moon, however this moon was successively getting bigger and bigger. This crystal clear energy permeated the forest. Plants grew taller, greener. Birds chirped the most melodious sounds. The sunlight seemed brighter. In that little moment, their little world¡¯s harmony made it seem as though the Heavens had fallen onto Earth. The beauty felt this serene harmony shaking her soul. The harmony pulled her heart towards the man. The man felt the tugs at his heart strings as well. They both knew there was something the Mother Earth was communicating to their souls. Under the guidance of this force, the young beauty arrived at the stream. All of a sudden between them, there was a huge burst of light and energy. The young man abruptly stopped his meditation, and the woman her dance. The blinding light was invading their mind and soul. Cecilia squinted her eyes and examined this light, hoping to find something within it. The light blinding her faded out gradually. Zenier and Cecilia stared intently into the light as it faded. Soon, they would find themselves staring deeply into each other¡¯s eyes. Their souls immediately connected, sending a streak of electricity through the air towards each other. Zenier¡¯s calm heart trembled. Cecilia¡¯s body heated up. Their hands reached towards each other involuntarily. Zenier, abruptly, brought his hand back, breaking the trance. Cecilia felt slightly disappointed but for no apparent reason. As soon as they became conscious of each other¡¯s presence Zenier and Cecilia stared at each other in silence for what seemed like an eternity. Zenier knew that there was something special about this woman. Having his meditation broken should have irked him, but he felt fine. He slowly stood up and introduced himself. ¡°Hello, my name is Zenier Melzahar.¡± ¡°Cecilia¡ Roseheart.¡±, she mumbled. Zenier walked his way through the stream towards her. The water still smoothly flowed over his feet, not making the slightest disturbance. This sight amazed Cecilia. ¡°Has this man united his soul with the Water God Mizu?¡± At the same time, Zenier judged from the rapid plant growth around the woman¡¯s feet that she had united her soul with the Earth God Tsuchi. The five elemental Gods: Water God Mizu, Earth God Tsuchi, Fire God Hi, Wind God Kaze and Void God Sora- had been worshipped for millennia. Every Nature cultivator strove to master each element. Nature cultivators were rivaled and demeaned by the Qi cultivators. Qi cultivators believed in growing the strength of oneself. They divided their strengths into four wide realms- Earth Realm, Core Realm, Sky Realm, Cosmic Realm. In virtue of their body strength, Qi cultivators dominated society and mocked those who believed to cultivate in the elements of Nature. Unlike the Qi cultivators who practiced and ate pills, Nature cultivators method of cultivation was relatively simpler. They had to unite their souls with their respective realms. For this they had to familiarize themselves which each Form of their element. There were many ways to do so. Meditation, Dance Offerings, Smithy? or experiencing extreme conditions. The strongest Nature cultivators were known to have experienced all Forms of their respective element. Void Element cultivators were known to be utterly overbearing in their strength. So much so that even Cosmic Qi cultivators have to be on guard when fighting a Void cultivator who learnt a single Form. Although not a single Void cultivator had been seen in a very long time. Zenier had just mastered the Resonating Water Flow form of Mizu. Cecilia had mastered the Resonating Nature Growth form of Tsuchi. This breakthrough had been spurred on by the presence of each other- something they both knew. Zenier¡¯s mind was slowly filled with thoughts of Earth Element. He felt shocked. How is he able to understand parts of Tsuchi when he was a practitioner of Water Element? Every human was known to have capability for a single element. Zenier had a faint inkling that that wouldn¡¯t be true for him- for his soul, now had an Earthly core with deep blue water enveloping it like an orb. Cecilia¡¯s soul orb soon turned a tinge blue with a wavy nature. The orbs rotated completely in phase. Zenier firmly said without a hint of embarrassment, ¡°I don¡¯t know why but I need to know you better.¡± Cecilia face quickly turned bright red upon hearing this. Somehow she mumbled through her little cherry red lips, ¡°Aahh¡ I¡ want.. to.. know.. you as well.¡± Zenier, a man whose heart was as serene as the eye of a storm, felt blood rushing to his face making him blush slightly while looking at this woman. Nonetheless, he maintained his domineering nature. ¡°I observed that you were cultivating a form of an Earth Element. Please enlighten me regarding its nature.¡± Cecilia looked dumbstruck at his statement. What use would it be to him knowing a Tsuchi form when he obviously was a Water Cultivator? ¡°Don¡¯t get the wrong idea. I just think that my soul has already understood what you practiced but it can¡¯t crystallize its Form.¡± ¡°I feel so as well¡¡± Cecilia, the shy natured Forest inhabitant, had finally spoken a complete sentence for the first time in her life. She had never been able to string words together, but now she felt it naturally just flowing out. ¡°Resonating Water Flow is the name Mizu revealed to me¡.. Hey! Are you alright? Why aren¡¯t you speaking?¡± A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. The moment the phrase ¡°Resonating Water Flow¡± entered Cecilia¡¯s thoughts she went through an exploding breakthrough. Her soul exploded out with the energy borrowed from Mizu. She imagined the gliding sensation of water underneath her feet becoming one with her heartbeat. She stopped talking and walked in a daze into the stream. As she walked, the water flawed the same way as it did over Zenier¡¯s feet. Zenier couldn¡¯t believe his eyes. His intuition was correct after all. The moment the electricity flowed out from their souls they had simultaneously shared each other¡¯s Soul Abilities, something heard of only in the legends. The world famous story of the strongest cultivators who ever walked the Earth stated that they moved together as though they were one mind of two bodies. Surprisingly these cultivators were Nature cultivators. This was something most Qi cultivators could not accept so the story had been eradicated from all textbooks, left only to be passed down as bedtime stories for Nature cultivators. As Cecilia slowly trod through the water, the ground behind her sprouted dazzling lotuses. Cecilia felt the warm comfort of Water God and Earth God¡¯s Soul Energies. ¡°Communion of the Resonating Plant Dew¡±- was whispered in her mind continuously. Zenier¡¯s feet were unknowingly being covered in shiny leaves. This time, his soul shook. Reverberating cries of the Earth God Tsuchi and the melodious song of Water God Mizu converged in his mind, speaking one thing together- ¡°Communion of the Resonating Plant Dew.¡± The sky above had gone into a frenzy. Galestorms picked up the brown autumn leaves, leaving behind a blinding greenery. Massive rain clouds crept across the sky, crying in the joy with the sharpest sounds of thunder. Just a few miles away from this scene, at the Veracity City, Sky Realm and Cosmic Realm cultivators felt a huge amount of Nature Energy rush towards the Heaven Fall Rainforest. The principal of the Veracity Cultivator School immediately understood that a strong Nature cultivator has been born. Every Qi cultivator had this faint inkling but quickly dismissed the thought. Cultivators far and wide had been training their Soul Energy for ages. Qi cultivate their own Soul Energy while Nature cultivate the Soul Energy of the Gods into themselves. Nature Energy was a realm which even Cosmic Qi cultivators as well as the strongest Nature cultivators were unable to interact with it. They all dreamed of being able to cultivate this exquisite energy, nonetheless being completely unsuccessful. Zenier and Cecilia didn¡¯t know this but they were experiencing the Nature Energy which permeated the world. Cecilia and Zenier¡¯s soul orbs spun crazily as though rejoicing and relishing the new energy they had received. The power in their bodies surged and Nature Energy invaded their blood and bones. Excruciating pain ran through their bodies. They felt as though they were being skinned alive and then regrown. Mizu and Tsuchi¡¯s voices held their sanity together while their bodies went through this metamorphosis. ¡°Communion of the Resonating Plant Dew!¡± Cecilia stumbled ahead and collapsed onto the ground. Zenier held out his arm in a desperate attempt to help her, before his vision grew dark and his consciousness rapidly faded away. ¡°Cecilia¡¡± he muttered before losing all sensation in his legs and falling to the ground. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡.. Seated comfortably in his exquisite chair out in his vast courtyard, an extremely old man sat brightly smiling while drinking the best wine he had in storage. Behind this old man, a middle aged man with a stern face stood upright out of respect for the old man. In his deep and profound voice, the old man said, ¡°The prophecy has begun. The Communion of the Void.¡± ¡°What are you going to do about the chosen ones, milord?¡± ¡°I will just have to wait and see what they achieve. The reign of the Nature cultivators will begin soon if they are capable enough.¡± ¡°Please forgive me for doubting you milord, but I believe that the chosen ones have no idea of the weights laid upon their shoulders. They should at least be acquainted with their fates.¡± ¡°Hahaha. My most trusted General even though your acumen has astounded me on many occasions, I must ask you to have more faith in those young souls. For now, we shall stay in the shadows supporting them only on the most crucial of times.¡± ¡°Your mind still perplexes me, milord.¡± At this moment, the Lord¡¯s face suddenly tensed. With a serious expression he said, ¡°We must be wary of the Void Reaching Qi Sect. I think we both know that they will do everything in their power to obstruct the chosen one¡¯s path at every opportunity. Dispatch the Windy Thunder to shadow them.¡± The General¡¯s eyebrows suddenly arched and cold sweat soaked the back of his uniform. The Windy Thunder, one of the few duos in power, were the mightiest Cultivators he had ever seen. It is said that their fists hold the power to incinerate entire cities to dust. He had once seen 10 Sky Realm Qi cultivators being killed with a single flick of their fingers. The Communion of Wind and Water- the Windy Thunder. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. ¡°The Communion of the Void.. Haha! It has begun!¡± The King of the Streaming Fire country sat on his grand throne, with ten ministers lining the walls of his royal court. The King laughed loudly. The ten ministers were worried as they could sense a cold glint in the King¡¯s eyes. ¡°It is finally time for the Void Reaching Qi Sect to realize their dream. Void cultivators shall rise under my reign.¡± The ministers suddenly sensed a chilling aura fall upon the royal court. Ten deep dark orbs presented themselves in front of the ten ministers. They opened their eyes widely staring at their death. In an instant, the orb rushed into their chests. Their eyes were still wide open while the glow of life left their eyes and a dusky black glow remerged. Everyone glanced at each other and nodded in approval. The most wicked minister, Zelier, exclaimed loudly, ¡°Old Friend Malazhar, you became the King of the country while we were dormant. Haha! Most splendid! Surely makes our jobs much easier.¡± ¡°Yes Zelier, it will be most convenient. I have already informed my youngest son, the King of Veracity City to capture the ¡®chosen ones¡¯. Let¡¯s see how do the lamb for the slaughter look like. Hahahaha...¡± ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡.. Communion of the Void Chapter 2: Windy Thunder strikes Zenier felt a hard slap on his cheek, shaking his mind to the present. His droopy eyelids peeled over to reveal the villainous face of another man. This man, who looked like a prince, wore expensive looking jewelry all over his body. The dazzling of his body seemed like it could burn Zenier¡¯s retina. ¡°Wake up poor Nature cultivator! Do you want to remain alive?!¡± The young prince stored some Qi into his palm and slapped Zenier, sending him flying away 10 meters. Zenier¡¯s frail body bounced a few times and dragged to a stop. Zenier¡¯s cheek felt scarred with an afterimage of a palm burning it. However, his body felt no pain. If it was another Earth cultivator, their face would have been disfigured and their ribs and bones broken all over. In contrast, other than the scar on his cheek there was no sign of injury on Zenier¡¯s body. Zenier¡¯s heart grew cold and his stomach fell. ¡°Qi cultivators? This is bad. What happened when I was unconscious? Where is Cecilia?¡± The young prince noticed the lack of injury on Zenier¡¯s body and felt slightly worried. His haughtiness quickly burned his worry away and he turned to Zenier with a mocking gaze, and exclaimed, ¡°Haha! I still can¡¯t believe how weak your bodies are! Your stupidity to practice Nature cultivation is most commendable. Hahaha! Now tell me what happened in the forest? Why was there such a huge disturbance in the Nature Energy where you slept?¡± Zenier was still taking a stock of his surroundings. The dead grey bricks formed a monotonous cage all around him. The only source of light was a small slit on the wall behind him. It looked like there was no exit. Seeing Zenier¡¯s silent expression the prince took it as an offence to him. He mustered up all his Qi into his fist and sent it rippling through the air towards Zenier. ¡°You trash! You dare disrespect me! You are courting death!¡± Zenier felt an impending sense of doom invade his soul. He quickly noticed the prince¡¯s fist a second before it arrived at his face. Zenier, a man who had never been in a fight in his life, froze for a millisecond before a new energy quickly tunneled out from his soul and reinforced in front of his face. The prince suddenly felt scared of the glow surrounding Zenier. He felt like a fly crashing into a humongous wall of steel. Unfortunately, the prince¡¯s pride was his undoing. He continued on, to preserve his face. The moment his jewel studded fist greeted the milky glow surrounding Zenier his face lost all colour. His eyes opened wide and he spat out a mouthful of blood. All the bones in his fingers were decimated to the point they nearly turned to dust. A bloody mist emerged from his arm. How is this cultivator so powerful! He gave out a high pitched scream and wailed, holding down onto his wrist, with no trace of a palm anymore. ¡°You dare hurt me. I will have my revenge you trifling scoundrel!¡± Zenier was just as amazed as the prince was. When did I gain such a power? Is it perhaps what caused me to collapse? Zenier quickly used his divine sense to investigate his soul. To his sheer disbelief, he found- Two Soul Orbs. His original Rock-centered Water Soul was now in harmony with a pure white Nature Soul. The colour of the energy of his new soul matched with the one which just protected him. ¡°FATHER! KILL THIS MAN!¡± The sharp Zenier immediately understood his situation. He had been captured while he was asleep and now this man is now interrogating him. His heart felt uneasy as he sensed no trace of Cecilia. The deep connection in his soul told him that she was still alive. He quickly breathed out in relief and readied himself to take care of his current situation. The grey wall behind the prince rippled like a pond¡¯s surface revealing the a well built body of a man with a beautiful crown on his head. The King entered the chamber with eyes full of fury. His anger seethed through his teeth. ¡°Little Nature Cultivator pay the price for your crime now!!¡± The King pulled out his hand. There within the grip of his fist was the smooth jet black hair of Cecilia, as she dangled helplessly bound. ¡°You think you can hurt the ones close to me and get away with it! Watch me as I rip off the arm off your beloved.¡± The King summoned all the chaotic Qi residing within him causing the walls to crack all over. The deep dark aura emanating from him scared Zenier witless. But more than that he was scared for Cecilia. Zenier¡¯s mind called out- ¡°I must save her!¡± Zenier pushed hard against the ground and bolted his way to the King. Seeing a Nature Cultivator moving at such a speed assured the King that he had to kill both these cultivators today. However, before that he wanted to make the young man suffer for hurting his son. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. The King¡¯s maniacal expression made Zenier¡¯s soul tremble. I have to stop this man! Despite Zenier supreme speed, the King¡¯s arm, right next to Cecilia, quickly sliced down her arm. With a neat cutting sound, Cecilia¡¯s arm slid off right at her shoulder. ¡°AAAAAAAAAAA..!!!¡± Cecilia heart shaking scream invaded the small chamber. A shout so loud that it had the power to shatter glass a mile away. Zenier¡¯s soul crumbled in pain. The pain in Cecilia¡¯s soul was transferring to his own. ¡°AAAAAAAAAAA¡!!!¡± Zenier and Cecilia screamed in unison. Cecilia, someone who had barely talked in her life and lived in the forest, couldn¡¯t handle the pain. If Zenier wasn¡¯t sharing the pain, she would have died of fright and shock. The King laughed loudly in joy. The King¡¯s laughter and Zenier-Cecilia¡¯s wail made the chamber a living hell for the Prince. He brought both his wrists to his ears, trying to block out this cacophonous cocktail of sounds. Then suddenly, the walls started vibrating ceaselessly. The King stopped laughing on noticing this. He realized that the entire chamber was madly quaking. Zenier-Cecilia¡¯s screeching wail sent thick bolt of energy connecting each other¡¯s souls yet again. Their bond was strengthening as they shared the pain. The negativity created by the pain was surging through the air invaded their minds. The King was astounded by the vast amounts of energy that had suddenly crashed upon the chamber. It felt as though a tiger was roaring at the chamber, trying to break in from the outside. Zenier¡¯s Natural Soul Orb immediately sent out its energy to Cecilia¡¯s shoulder. The incredibly dense and pure energy congealed to produce a stark white arm without a hint of impurity. This new arm further enhanced Cecilia¡¯s beauty and exuded a mighty aura. The King sensed something was wrong. The previously small cracks on the walls started spreading out in a web-like fashion, completely covering the grey¡¯s bricks. The foreboding sense of destruction loomed over the King¡¯s soul. After throwing Cecilia towards Zenier, he rushed to the Prince and ran for the exit. In the next moment, the Windy Thunder duo crashed down. The walls collapsed together and disappeared into a fine dust. The fury of the duo, as they bellowed for the pain of the Plant Dew, struck down upon the King. Above the grand palace of Veracity, the rain clouds grew bigger and bigger, until they reached they reached the Heavens. Wind Element Kailer¡¯s hair whipped about intensely and Water Element Yulia¡¯s graceful face remained unfazed as they both came to the top of this ladder of clouds and struck down together with their fists. Currents of energy zipped down the clouds. ¡°No one can dare kill them as long as we are breathing!¡± The citizens watched in amazement as an unimaginable amount of thunder started forming under the clouds. As it stored the energy, the sphere of thunder crackled loudly, bursting the eardrums of any nearby pedestrian. The sphere grew until it was the size of the Palace. Anyone inside the Palace or near it, started running for their lives the moment they saw this heavenly creation. The King looked up and cried, ¡°Please forgive me!¡± The duo snorted coldly and the thunder dropped down. The sphere exploded in an instant, expelling all its energy downwards in a straight spiral. Rain poured down endlessly and thick trees surrounded the Palace to prevent anyone from leaving. The neon blue thunder blinded anyone who sets their sights on it. The erosion of the top of the Palace began as the thunder slowly came down. At their last moments, the King and Prince regretted their actions and wanted to go back in time to correct their actions. But Alas! There is no medicine for regret in this world. The blue expanse soon occupied their entire view leaving nothing but regret in their hearts. The thunder formed a face which scowled at them before opening its mouth and eating them alive. Zenier and Cecilia had already passed out from the pain. They didn¡¯t realize the caring hand that picked them up carefully and set them aside from the Palace. The thunder slowly retreated back into the sky and rain clouds slowly dispersed. The innocent blue sky left no evidence of the destruction it had wrought upon the world. The abyss left in Earth where the Palace once stood shook every citizen¡¯s mind. Experts from all over the world were on guard. Two world-shaking events in the same region within such a small time had raised everyone¡¯s suspicions, especially the abyss created in Veracity City. Everyone took these events to be the birth of a new expert. One who would change the world. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡..
