《Re:No Target》 Re:No Target This is the first chapter of many, i hope .... :) ====================================== Inside a certain location, far from the prying eyes, 6 individuals were pointing their guns towards a middle-aged man, with grey hair and toned muscles. His eyes grey as his hair were giving him an air of a gentle person but now he was emitting a killer aura towards the 6 men. "Step away from my children, otherwise i promise that you 6 will not meet the daylight ever again."Said the middle aged man with a serious expression. "Mr. Alexander if you don''t wish your children''s blood on the floor first give us the blueprints for the progenitors array. You rejected our employer offer so he hired us to kidnap your children for this trade. No harsh feelings Mr., we are just workers as well" said one of the tallest men which had a evil griin plastered over his face. As those words left his mouth Alexander face started to become dark. It was because of him that his children could not enjoy a normal life. 13 years ago he discovered a signal , that was recorded in different ways by the ancient civilizations, this signal affected their way of thinking, like it was instructing them or forcing them to evolve. He called this signal the *Progenitors Call*. He for 13 years has studied this signal but was unable to get a complete understanding since the signal was very hard to notice. When he discovered it was by pure luck. So for him to show his work towards the world he translated some of the signal waves. The words he obtained were incredible. *Come. Come. Home. Middle. Universe.*. At first people had doubts but after applying his theories they found the signal as well. After they found the truth every nation was in a humongous frenzy. All of them had the same question. Were we from space? So the conflicts on earth stopped thanks to Alexander, and now all the nations started to pull huge structures to check the origin of the signal. Indeed they made success and managed to grasp more of the signal, but it was very hard to decode. So Alexander devised the schematics for the best tower for capturing the signal. But human being humans, the richest people of the earth tried to steal his plans so that they can be the first ones to decode and even better talk to the Progenitors. So they kidnapped his children and killed his wife. "Someday humanity will fall because of people like" Alexander said as he took the schematics for the tower."Tell your employer to be kind to them. And now give me my children and wife". "Well sadly i have to bring you the news"*evil grin*"Your wife is dead. Your children were killed as well. And now..."*pointing guns*"You are dead as well". As the words reached Alexanders ears his pupils constricted and his muscles tensed. For a moment he was in a daze, in the second he swallowed the pill he had in his mouth before he came here. Suddenly his eyes changed from the gray towards red. His veins started to bulge and muscles started to get pumped. His heart started to beat as fast as possible. All of this process took 2 seconds which were enough for him to dash madly towards the 6 men. You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author. As they saw him change and dash towards them, the mercenaries were stunned for a second but in the next one they started to shoot him. Aiming for the vitals they discovered that it was ineffective at all so they started to retreat slowly. but the raging Alexander was too fast. As soon he got to them , he madly started to rip off their arms, legs manhood and clawed their faces making them unrecognizable. The leader of the 6 was watching in horror as his teammates were killed in such a savage way.Filled with anger he started to inject himself with adrenaline shots. The minimum dose was 1 shot 4 hours, but in the face of this beast how could he win so he injected 6 doses. As soon the adrenaline entered his system he swiftly grabbed his knife and started to charge Alexander. Alexander who was venting all of his rage on the mercs, he started to run with full speed towards the last remaining merc. As soon these 2 met wind ripples started to form as they exchanged fists. But the merc guy started to use his knife to cut his tendons, veins, just to discover to his horror that Alexander was not disturbed at all , actually it made him even more like a beast. Both of them exchanged blows but the merc started to feel the pain from the adrenaline shots. His view started to get hazy, his breath heavy and his judgement got delayed. All of this made him unable to stop Alexander hand penetrating his chest. As Alexander put his hand trough the merc chest he grabbed his hearth and brought him close and told him in a low and full of hatred voice "this is for my family". As the words left his mouth he pulled the hearth out still beating and shoved in the merc''s mouth followed by a upper jaw fist to end him. After the fight Alexander started to remember his family, all the memories of them were his most precious treasure ,but now it was stolen... and he was on his dying breath. Slowly he reached his watch and said in a struggled manned. "Karl initiate the auto-destruction sequence. Destroy all of my research. Fire allof my employees and give all my fortune to the most poor countries. And deactivate yourself my friend *tears rolling down* it was an honor to have you" as he said his last words he fallen near the window. And he was able to see his home on fire, and after that explosions occurred all around him. "Humanity is not ready yet to meet the progenitors, or for them to earn my mercy. Heed my words, if trough any miracle will survive this I WILL NOT FORGIVE ANYBODY ANYMORE" as the words left his mouth the darkness started to envelop his body and his vision got dark...... ================================================================================ Soooo. After my last breath everything around me darkened. There were no lights, no sounds..... there was nothing. Is this how everything will end.... Suddenly i could feel my body emanating a weak blue like, a color that was similar to the water which was basked in the moonlight. I could faintly see trough my own body. So in the end there is nothing after death.... no heaven or hell , any gods.... just darkness?...... After a long time finally i could feel water at my legs so I slowly opened my eyes. As i opened my tired eyes i was shocked. All around myself there other people and all of them were different from each other. All of them had blue aura surrounding them, some were brighter some were lesser. As i started to observe the surroundings I could see that there were endless rows of people , the sky if it could be called like that was completely dark. just the water was radiating a simple blue light. As i couldn''t contain myself i started to ask the closest person to me. "ermm... excuse me can you please tell me what is this place?"-Alexander "Hmm......This place ...... nobody knows...... but the others........... call it......."-??? "Yes how is it called?"-Alexander "Well..... The well of souls."-??? "And why are we here?"-Alexander "We are here..... to...... be reborn*grin*"-??? Okay... that grin is too malicious. He had a top hat with a big feather, long coat and a cane that made him look like a rich old man..... meh not one of my concern. If he got any information is great. That was so suddenly that i couldn''t make my stance and i was thrown away. Sheeesh.... he should work on his manners. But that piece of advice was great. So we can''t risk touching one another without mixing our souls....... After a long time i could feel myself slowly drawn in the lake.... but did i really wish to go back there ..... those idiots should build that tower already..... sigh i wonder if i did the right thing... Hmmm....... well like my father taught me "change is the law of life, and those who look only to past or present are certain to miss the future".... in other words lets get out of this place. As i made order in my mind i started to move trough the water, walking past all the people who were just standing and looking at me.... all of their gazes are giving so much pressure... but i won''t give up, i will go where my legs will be able. After what it would seem ages Alexander still walked and walked trough the water that was giving trough each step more pressure than the step before. As he focused on pushing the limits he failed to see that his ghostly body was becoming more and more bluish emanating even more light. He was like a beacon of fire in the endless water. From the sky he would look like a moving bonfire. But as he moved he started to bring attention to him. Up in the dark sky a void like undulation happened and a even darker mist appeared. Like having a mind of its own is started to roll in the so called sky following the moving bonfire. Alexander started to feel even more pressure, each step brought even more pressure and made his steps wiggle. After all he was a spirit so he didn''t have the mundane needs to eat and drink. But... a soul has his limits... And Alexander stopped in his tracks. This world was so behind with the technology that it made me cringe. They had cultivators and other stuff but still, they only use their cultivation to make their life easier. ARGHHHHHH. This person was a maid that had the duty to protect the young master. His weird behavior made her chuckle and started to use one of her techniques to whisper the madam about the young master. The mother was slightly worried about her son behaviour but it was expected for a one year child to be like this so she didn''t look into this matter. As the days passed on Leto was dragged by his father to train. For now the training was to draw energy of the world inside himself, making his body stronger and stronger. After an hour my body was too tired to train, so i silently put the spear in the rack and quickly ran in my room to take my well earned rest. But he didn''t notice again the maid that was completely stunned. She saw everything, since the cultivation technique accident till the spear style the young master did. This bone had the properties of increasing one''s power over energy. Once matured that individual would become a blessed one being able to lead a country or a domain. As the man removed the bone he quickly proceeded towards the other child, but this time he gave the kid a sleeping pill to make him ignore the pain. As he started to sleep the man proceeded cutting his chest and put the golden bone inside his . After this he went to Leto''s side and gathered with his power all the blood that exited his body and transferred all of it inside that kid''s body. "Now he should be able to use after it matures inside his body. Madam please release my family." *bow* "Very well you may go, your family should be home already"*grin* But as soon he tried to leave a gust of wind came and the man stopped moving. After a few seconds his head started to roll on the floor. Chapter four The Primordial Forest. Was an ancient domain that spanned trough millions of kilometers. It is known that the forest was filled with ancient beasts, forgotten human tribes, souls that could not ascend and many other races that were not met. It has to be known that Sky Mountain, was a medium sized city in the Usam empire. As Leto was teleported he could see lights or more precisely dots of various colors that moved around him making it a sight worth seeing it. But as the lights show started it soon ended and Leto was thrown with his face first in dirt. With his hand clutching his chest he looked around searching for any enemy around, but alas with his heavenly defying bone gone now he could not steadily enforce his body making him invincible, but he could still use the energy as he did before. (Technically Leto became a glass canon... in a simpler way)*author note* "why.... why *sob* why can''t i enjoy a normal life..... why......" "I can''t..... this.... that bitch for a single bone to make her social standing better she .... she ruined my life......." After two hours i finally found a cave near a waterfall , and oh boy what a waterfall. i think it spanned for at least 2 or 3 km. maybe more or less i can''t really appreciate the distance. The flora of this world was fascinating, they felt full of life some too full with life as they tried to munch my head , that is until i started forming fire around my feast but as soon i brought forth the fire the plant became docile like a little dog. The plant had many similarities with a plant back on earth .... hmm...witch was it... aa i know the venus flytrap. Ugh but that was a small plant *turns around* and this one is well over 3 meters and i think he has some bulging muscles in his stalk...... well should i be damned those are some nice muscles. Hmm such a weird flora, then what should i expect of the fauna....*stares at the sky* it seems that the darkness is coming. Well let''s make the cave a little comfy. As i moved in the cave i used the earth to make a small bed witch was perfect. After that i started to check the cave. To my surprise i found two minerals that emanated some purple light. It was perfect as light near my bed. After a while i looked at Tami (the plant) and i could feel that he was looking back from the entrance. So as a simple precaution i made the area inside the cave to be very hard so *uninvited guest* take some roots here...... Sigh.....so this is the first night that will mark my journey in this world..... As Leto drifted into his dreams Tami was trying to move his roots under the human but couldn''t because of the hard stones. "damn this human* said the plant as he retracted it''s roots "tsk i will spare your life for now pitiful human"."stares in the dark sky "your scent will draw meat and that will make me stronger"*evil grin* But these words were in his own language so for leto if he was awake he would not understand anything only some small sounds that were similar to the sounds made by the wind when it goes trough the trees leafs......... As the night fell so did Leto in his dream world while the now called Tami was guarding his cave......
